The Hits, the Jono and Ben podcast. Megan Pappas, prolific watcher of streaming services. I'm like, I'm going to reduce the amount that I say on air because like now it just seems like I'm lazy and I'm sitting at home. Yeah, I know, but this is much more to your life. This is a small, medium-sized snapshot into... I'm trying to think what else there is, but... You multitask at the same time though, don't you?

Yeah, breastfeeding. Yeah, just doing all the stuff. But you're doing a good job of keeping the streaming services in business. Although you say Netflix no longer. I don't have Netflix at the moment because I was using my parents. Mooching. Yeah. I mean, I'm well into my 30s and I'm still mooching.

Ben had his whole family mooching off his account. They were mooching off me though. Then that was sort of that was what would wind me up is I'd go sometimes to watch it and then it'll be like there's too many people

using that and I was like this is mine you text them and I'll be like hey can you get off the thing they're like no

we're in the middle of this thing I'm like this is my account I used to message my parents and be like my niece is

on she should be in bed it's 8.30 I'm trying to watch some stuff here. Yeah, that's right. So we all got our own accounts now. But what should we be watching this week? Anything that's not on Netflix. Well, actually, one of them is on Netflix, but I haven't watched it yet, obviously.

Yeah, makes you wanna watch. ...out today, but like Ed Sheeran, he's a guy who's like an unassuming pop star he's got tourettes and he has said that playing music on stage is the one thing that makes his tourettes worse um so it's a catch-22 obviously he loves it but he's finding it really difficult and he's like if i can't get on top of it i'm gonna have to pull the pin on my music career. At that point? Yeah.

So it looks like we're going to get into his family talking about how his anxiety and his Tourette's is getting worse. It's quite a case too as well too. So funny. Yeah. Yeah. So that's a great sign. Now that's a 3 or 4 part on Disney Plus so we've got a little bit to wait for that one you're going to shame me

out of watching that one like the One Direction the One Direction doco I was watching that feels like in your demographic yeah I feel like One Direction

I should have been watching that doco maybe 10 years ago so anyway I've moved on to other things now even then though I feel really bad

I've shamed you out of watching it if you just join us the rich storyline we have running here Ben started watching the One Direction doco Megan was like oh okay and you said by yourself. Late at night.

You're like was that the only thing and I was like no I chose to but yeah but now I pull myself together and I'm watching The Night Agent at the moment on Netflix which I'm enjoying. Was that the same thing that happened with the microwave? Yes. It's in Nigeria. Electricity coming out of their hand oh this is i was enjoying his fun little rap at the beginning of that yeah did you think the radio would like no uh so this is about teenage girls they suddenly develop a special power where electricity comes out of their fingers oh wow so she touched the stereo and it shorted out uh she touched the microwave and it blew up but it's happening to lots of teenage girls. It's really good, but if you read the reviews,

a lot of the reviews are written by men, and they're saying it's not a great show, but that kind of plays into the whole feminist underlying tones of, it's like a revolution amongst women, and they're saying that, I mean, I don't want to spoil too much of it, but the electricity is coming from an evolutionary need for women to stand up for themselves well that's a bit so if they're shorting all the like how can they work all the appliances in the kitchen and stuff they're struggling to at the moment

oh i see where you're going you see where he's going with that yeah like no don't stop how are they going to do the washing? Yeah. I don't know. The washing machine shorts out. Yeah, Tony Collette is the mayor, the lead. Yeah, and John Leguiziamo is the one you hear doing the rap. I know him from Romeo and Juliet back in the day. Yeah, but no, it's really good. Only three episodes, so they're doing the drip feed of the e from romeo and juliette back in the day yeah but no it's really good only three episodes so they're doing the the drip feed of the eps at the moment but it's really good it's got me hooked uh let's see uh so i know because taika and jermaine have been filming one what has that been called didn't they film uh i don't know why i started this Is this related to what we were talking about? Yeah, no, I was just going to say, you're bringing something great to the segment. You've got all the information on you. A bit of sexism, and then he brings some other.
