8.08 on your Friday, a penny of late night talking going on last night on Netflix. But earlier this morning, we caught up with Megan Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. Now, we wanted to get his opinion on the Netflix documentary, Harry and Megan, and hear his views. Now, these are his thoughts responding to the explosive documentary that the whole world is talking about. We asked him how he was going. Well, you know, doing okay considering. You know, I guess the big topic of discussion is going to be this Netflix thing. After the first three episodes, you said you felt Megan had tried to brush the family under the carpet.

Do you still feel that way after the final episodes have been released? Yeah, definitely, because I caught those episodes this morning. So I'm going to stick my guns on that, and I'm going to say a couple of things real quick here. It's basically like an extended version of that horrible Oprah interview, which has led me to save face in this whole thing. So I've got a whole production crew, unprecedented evidence, videos, photos of my own documentary coming out in 2023. So that right there is going to set all this straight. And Oprah or Netflix should have gotten both sides

of the story she did say on the doco that she used to you know she was a daddy's girl uh growing up she used to speak to your father you know a couple of times a week i mean what what happened what changed you mean a couple of times a day megan markle never wanted for anything all growing up until she got off suit but my dad floated the entire bill, worked his ass off 24-7 to give her everything she wants and put her in the place she's in today. What do you want from Meghan Markle? What does your side of the family want?

Do you want to rebuild the relationship? Do you want to go out for a weird, sort of awkward brother-in-law day out on the golf course with Harry? What are you after? I don't want anything from her. Nobody in the family has ever asked her for anything. But she started this whole charade

in the very beginning. And me and the Markles will finish it. It's just ridiculous. She makes her bed with Harry and she's got to sleep in it. Well, she doesn't make it. The servants do. She's going to get the picture real soon. I found it really hard watching, seeing what they've gone through,

the paparazzi, the tabloids, the printing of their location and where they were living, miscarriage, depression, death threats. I mean, I found it hard. I mean, what was it like for you watching your half-sister? Well, that's another thing that got brushed under the carpet. Reaching out, it was like, hey, get these people off my back. You know, I didn't sign up for this. Samantha didn't sign up for this.

Dad didn't sign up for this. Do something. Can you take us back to, you know, episode four? They talk, they cover the wedding. It's where she's basically saying she has no father in her life. This is why she asked Charles to walk her down the aisle. What does that make you feel? Pretty disgusted because my dad was in the hospital with a heart attack.

How is your dad's health? Is he okay? Like I said, I've been hanging with dad since a stroke. He's ups and downs, good days, bad days, but overall, he's okay. Are we seeing the real side

of Meghan Markle? That's a hard one. Nobody knows. So it's hard to say. I mean, she's an actor. She's been acting her whole life. So it's really hard to say what's coming, you know, what's in her head. And I guess that's where people sit. It's hard to get a true gauge on where the truth is.

I mean, you've got their side of the story, and you've got your side of the story, and you've got the royal side of the story. Does the truth sort of sit in the middle or is it firmly on one side of the fence or the other? That's what we're going to get down to. You know, the rules of the royal family and the monarchy are the same for a thousand years.

I mean, that's just protocol. That's how it's done, period. She knew what she was signing up for, like her, the victim, and her family. It's the same thing. And I think Harry like her, the victim, and her family. It's the same thing. And I think Harry bought it hook, line, and sinker. Do you reckon this has done good or bad for Meghan and Harry, this documentary?

I think it's doing exactly like most of the media is reporting. It's flopping. And it's completely destroying any minuscule chance that they had to make amends with the royal family. That's my opinion. Is there a part of you that feels sorry for them? For Meghan and Harry? destroying any minuscule chance that they had to make amends with the royal family i that's that's my opinion is there a part of you that feels sorry for them for megan and harry yeah yeah yeah because they only got 100 million yeah you know i don't know how they're gonna make it on that so i do feel sorry for them but you know but they're hounding the press they're putting the location

the death threat i mean surely there's a part of you that you know or has it gone past that now because of the the rift and the relationship and the family breakdown well you know that that works both ways you know they're not alone in this and that's what you sign up for you sign your rights away when you're part of the royal family like the documentary was saying i mean they you are their target for them for the media and the paparazzi that's part of it you know deal with it or move on. So that's what they did. They moved on and they complained about it. Do you think there could be some healing?

Because it's sad. I mean, it's sad what I hear from you. It's sad what I hear from them. I just feel sad for everyone involved. Yeah, you know, it is sad for them. It's sad for us. It's sad for the royal family. It's sad for, I mean, it's just these families

are just at each other's throats for money. Is that what it is? Big contracts, money. When you mention that, it's just families. You know, when you break all the fame,

all the celebrity, all the money, if you pull it all away, you take everything away. It's that, and that is the, that's the sad part. It's just families.

That part sucks. Family, like every other family in the world, there is no perfect family. We all have issues. I fight with my sister, Sam, all the time, like every other family in the world, there is no perfect family. We all have issues. I fight with my sister Sam all the time, but I still love her, you know?

I would never ditch her or, you know, if she needed something, I'd be there for her. But that's family. And yeah, it's playing out in such a world stage.
