Starting point is 00:00:00 I'll producer Troy last week we were talking about the fact that you rated your partner Neve's meal. Yeah. I can see now that that was an error in judgment. How could you not see it at this hour? You gave her a blow-by-blow feedback of all the ingredients that featured on the plate.
Starting point is 00:00:15 Potato's too hard, too much star anise and the cabbage. I don't even know what star anise is, but whatever it is, it was too much of it. And then the carrots are too hot because of a honey glade. Honey glade. It was like lava. Yeah. Hot honey's a big thing at the moment.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Oh, like spicy. Yeah. Oh, as in spicy. Yeah, spicy, yeah. Not as in temperature. Man of my wife loves. Not goldilocks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Yeah. It's a bit sad. Yeah. Yeah, there was just one little thing wrong with each portion of the meal. And you told her about it. And that totaled a 6.5 out of 10 years. Was that a generous marking or was it? No, that was fair.
Starting point is 00:00:49 I think that was fair. You're such an idiot. Okay, so this is what you did and you've now seen the air of your ways. But then... Well, she heard me talking about that on the radio on Friday. Oh, God. So that's how you saw the air of your way. So you haven't seen the era of your eyes.
Starting point is 00:01:04 What's about it explains to me how I saw the... A hot honey reception when you got home. It was spicy. It was spicy. And so I was very promptly told that I was on dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Oh, yep, three in a row. That was fair. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Better chef though. Yeah, like minimum 9.2. Each meal. Michel and star. So I cooked this nice nasi-gouring chicken minors. vermicelli noodle sort of situation on Friday. Saying words I don't understand. He'd be able to noodles.
Starting point is 00:01:37 He's got mitts in the pan. Some seasoning. Well, I actually thought it was a lot more than that, but it's fine. And so I thought I'd ask Neve what she thought. You must be working your ass off of the kitchen, though, knowing what was on the line here. I had a pan on the stove, and that's about it. Yeah, here we go. It was yummy.
Starting point is 00:01:58 it was like a chicken mince chop-souy but it required like zero effort shut up no let's be real you had to grate a carrot put it in the pan put some chicken mints in the pan
Starting point is 00:02:15 pour the packet sauce in and cook it to perfection no bash bash the dust what did I was in like an eight that's through me because you sent us that audio
Starting point is 00:02:27 And I was like, she was sassania, and then she comes to her with an ace. Oh, no, you shouldn't have got over 6.5. No. Yeah, and you used to pack it. Yeah, and it was bloody good. It was bloody good. I reckon on a normal day, that would have been a 10, but she docked me two points, just out of spite. Out of spite.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Yeah. She was seasoning everything by hand, and you rock up with your bloody packet sauce. It was a good packet sauce. So, as the feedback in the ranking system, is this going to be a staple at the dinner table now in your household? Yeah. No, I think we're putting it to bed now. You're right. That's a lesson both of us have learned.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Otherwise, you'll never be eating dinner together every year. That's cute. You think you've put it to bed. Because I was on dinner for Saturday and Sunday, too. We had takeaways both of those times. That's the same option. That was 10 out of 10 both nights. Credit it to the shed.
