Thanks to Challenge, putting the service back into service stations.
Why can't you see me?
We're going to spend so much time on this tech issue,
and we're going to lose all our question time.
Use your imagination.
Yeah, I imagine you're wearing a dressing gown or some sort of situation.
I'm naked.
Naked since the day you were born.
Now we can see you, David.
There we go Perfect
You are not naked
You're catfishing us
I'm naked from the waist up
Lovely to see you again mate
Yeah nice to see you guys
How are you doing?
We're doing alright
Now we were saying to Megan the other day
Who's with us now
That you are one of the few people that follow us
The radio show on Instagram
Now that must be a wild ride for you A lot of it probably wouldn't make any sense well no there's
you do great content on there it's really really funny stuff don't lie you've muted i think it's
great there's always something really imaginative going on so do you know honestly the only the only
two people of absolute notes who follow the show's Instagram account are you, David Williams, and also Peter Andre.
Peter Andre does as well.
But me and Peter are very, we do think alike.
Both have amazing abdominals as well too.
He's very sweet actually, Peter.
He is.
He's lovely, isn't he?
He sung at David Schwimmer's wedding.
Did he?
Because his wife, though he was obsessed with Peter Andre when she was little.
So he came on and sung Mysterious Girl as a surprise.
At the wedding.
And he was saying, please release me.
Release me, Peter.
Let her be mine.
Now, you're coming to New Zealand.
Some live shows, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch,
which is going to be awesome.
Now we're fans of your comedy work.
Our kids are fans of your book, your writing.
So who's the show for?
Can we bring the kids for us?
I think for you guys, it would be a little bit grown up.
I'm not sure you could quite follow it.
It's for everybody.
There won't be anything too rude in there.
I mean, I think if kids have seen Little Britain and come fly with me, then it would be fine. I think if it's sort everybody. There won't be anything too rude in there. I mean, I think if kids have seen Little Britain
and come fly with me, then it will be fine.
I think if it's sort of toddlers and things, lots of fun.
I'm hoping to also do some shows for,
like book shows for families as well,
you know, in the afternoon so that we can,
you know, the people who do have young children
can come too.
But no, I mean, it's basically
a hundred funny stories in a row it's the story
of my life through lots of like anecdotes and things like that and lots of stories I haven't
heard before lots of stories about interesting people I've met things people have never seen
before as well never heard before because I really want to make sure that there is stuff that is
totally fresh someone asked you a question in one of these you did in the UK and you ended up telling
a story you'd never told
about being in an Italian prison for seven hours or something?
I was, yeah.
I went to Venice and I basically took the wrong passport.
I've got two passports and one is out of date
and I took the out-of-date one and it wasn't noticed
until I got to Italy and then they put me in prison
and they weren't very nice to me either.
They were quite aggressive.
I think they made a mistake smuggling heroin or something.
Did you end up in cells?
They kept me in the cells.
So the great thing was though, that I was basically, I had my computer.
They only at one point said, would you like a bottle of water in seven hours?
And then, but I just spent the whole seven hours just writing.
And it was like the most productive seven hours.
So now I write all my books from an Italian prison.
You're thinking that off of your sparkling water
or something being Italian as well.
Well, you'd think, yeah, Italian prison, great.
There was a lasagna.
Nice bit of splash of red wine. None of that
whatsoever. They were really quite mean to me as well.
Oh, jeez. Were you sharing
a cell? I was sharing a cell.
Yeah. Yeah. With
Diego and we got very
big, big brute of a man.
We stayed in contact, you know, Christmas
cards.
Made a special connection that day in that prison.
Yes. Are you including any stories about meeting his cards. You made a special connection that day in that prison.
Are you including any stories about meeting New Zealand's one and only
Mike Hosking? We know you have a wonderful
relationship with Mike.
He hung out with you when he was over in the UK
for the, was it the King's
Coronation? I think it was the King's Coronation, yeah.
Yeah, well, we're going to show
basically some nudes that he's
done.
After the interview.
Yeah, he brought his family, actually.
And I got on very well with him.
You know he's 60 next year?
Is he 60?
He works upstairs.
We're not allowed near him.
He's had a lot of work done.
But he's still, for 60, he's not bad. You know, he's obviously had a facelift. He's had some lot of work done, but he's still, for 60, he's not bad.
He's obviously had a facelift.
He's had some liposuction.
He's had some gender realignment surgery as well,
but he's looking incredible.
He does look fantastic.
Now, last time you really unloaded on your dear friend Simon Cowell,
you told us he wears shoes with heightened heels,
so he appears taller. Have you got any more dirt on Cowell. You told us he wears shoes with heightened heels, so he appears
taller. Have you got any more dirt on Cowell
this time around?
The story about that was we were
flying, so we
were in London and we were doing a show in Manchester
and for some reason he got a private plane, even though
he's much quicker just to get on the train.
You know, fun, isn't it?
You get to go on a private plane.
We had to go through
security. And, you know, you have to take your shoes off and take your belt off and stuff like
that. And just out the corner of my eye, I saw this tiny little figure, no bigger than Jawa.
And I saw these jeans kind of going under someone's foot. And I thought, who is that?
It was some little man that works for me?
And I realised it was him because he'd taken his shoes off.
There you go.
I mean, look, you can't choose to be tall or not.
I'm very lucky.
I'm six foot three.
Well, are you going to pop in and see us?
Because we'd love to have you in the studio.
Okay.
Rather not.
Okay.
No, I would love to.
I would love that. And I would love you all to come and see the show same I would love to I would love that
and I would love you all
to come and see the show
we'd love to as well
I mean
it's my guess
okay
it's my guess

really affect your
bottom line David

I regret it now

of the countryside so i really want to see that i really want to see more of the nature
