Spilling the tea on Hollywood's A-listers.
Kardashians.
I have met every single one.
Exposing scandals.
She's not a good person, but either is he.
Digging the dirt.
Is she a diva?
Yes.
And finding out what's going on behind the scenes.
Killing a cast member.
Yes.
It was a script.
No.
His identity is a secret.
But his stories have been proven right time and time again.
This is NT.
Alright, he's here to talk about people who are far better looking and far more successful
than you and I will ever be, Ben Boyce.
NT from Hollywood, how are you?
And better looking than myself too.
Well, we wouldn't know.
We've never seen you.
We don't know your real name, NT.
I like to imagine you as a mix between
George Clooney meets a young Will Smith.
Do you remember when Russell Crowe was going through his really fat period?
Imagine that, but also no hair.
That's where you got me right there.
Oh, that's a handsome devil you're describing right there, my friend.
Ben, you had a great idea.
Let's get into Hollywood conspiracies.
Yeah, there's plenty of them floating around,
and I imagine most of them are completely untrue,
but people love to talk about them.
So, Ntk, do you mind if we throw a couple your way and see if you know 100% if these
are true or not?
Throw away, and you know, I never plug anything, but you know, on my podcast last November,
I did two parts of like celebrity conspiracy theories, like 50 or 60 of them.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
You're well-educated.
Okay.
Well, you probably know better ones than we do.
Let's start with one that a lot of people think, Tupac, still alive.
That's a tough one.
Part of the reason that this has any kind of kernel of truth or substance to it is that
the person who was supposedly, Suge Knight supposedly paid somebody $3 million to cremate
Tupac, which sounds like an outrageous amount of money the person who did it has disappeared so nobody
knows where the person is so that's one of the reasons and then if you were taking like 45
minutes or an hour you could go through all the things like tupac kind of saying oh i'm gonna fake
it uh and then just like codes in his songs and his music so yeah i mean you can definitely make
an argument that he is still alive if you want. Now, because
I was talking about this many years ago on a radio show and someone texted and said he's
alive, he's in Morrinsville, the rural part of New Zealand.
Now, because he had an alter ego, didn't he? Machiavelli. Yes.
Which makes it, you know, okay, Machiavelli, that's the same kind of thing.
It would be a very Machiavellian thing to do.
Here's the argument to say that he really is dead.
Tupac, he had a huge ego.
This is not a guy that would want to ever walk away from the limelight.
He liked being in front of people.
He liked having his ego stroked.
We've got NT on the phone.
Another conspiracy theory.
Lord, the queen of new
zealand people claiming that she's middle-aged and there's a whole marketing spin to get her
out there into the into the game and the music biz as a teenager but actually she's a 40 something
a very youthful looking 40 something what i say and lord the conspiracy yeah but somebody went
and got a copy of her birth certificate they paid paid $17 or whatever, so that's not true.
Yeah, I know people that went to high school with her and stuff, so it seems like it's a very easy...
Well, she was 39 when she was in high school.
Yeah, true.
My good conspiracy theory is that Lorde doesn't have a career because she said something bad about Taylor Swift.
Really?
I wouldn't even call it a conspiracy theory.
I would just say that she said something bad about Taylor Swift, and Taylor Swift told people never to work with her again. Really? I wouldn't even call it a conspiracy theory. I would just say that she said
something bad about Taylor Swift and Taylor Swift told people never to work with her again.
Really? Because, yeah, 100%. Because they were mates for a while there, weren't they? Okay,
but think about that sentence you just said. And then think about everybody that was mates with
Taylor Swift for a second. Like, she tried to be mates with Olivia Rodrigo. And Olivia Rodrigo
didn't like her, said, no, no, I don't like where this is going.
Now, Olivia Rodrigo is going to feel the wrath here next month, I think, when her next album
comes out, is that what Taylor's going to do is release probably like 40 mixes of whatever
remixes of songs and stuff to keep Olivia off the charts.
She is going to do that because Olivia turned her back on Taylor Swift, much the same way that Laura turned her back on Taylor Swift and much the same
way Katy Perry turned her back on Taylor Swift.
If you turn your back on Taylor Swift,
she will do crazy things like do remixes,
anything she can to keep you off the charts.
Well,
I think we've all had an important lesson here.
Don't turn your back on Taylor Swift,
Ben.
Were you thinking about it?
I wasn't.
You guys should,
you guys should have Lord on, have Lord on and wasn't. You guys should have Lorde on.
Have Lorde on and ask her.
We would love to have Lorde on.
I don't think she likes,
she doesn't really do interviews.
Doesn't do too many interviews, no.
She's quite quiet here in New Zealand.
She sort of keeps to herself.
Fair enough.
And us being New Zealanders,
we politely just let her keep to herself.
You guys should keep trying.
Yeah.
I think that would be fascinating.
I'll get my pestering on.
Ante, we've been talking conspiracy theories with you all this week.
Now, here's another one.
The Avril Lavigne that we know and love died years ago.
They got a lookalike to replace her.
Now, my thing with this is, was Avril Lavigne that intricate to the music industry
that they had to keep up a
facade that she was still alive and kicking I enjoy this one a lot this is one that I can kind
of get behind when is the last time that Avril Lavigne had a hit right so she she comes out of
nowhere first album and I think Skater Boy was on the second album. She has hits back to back, right? Just the first couple of years of success.
All of a sudden, there's nothing.
It wasn't like a sophomore album
kind of didn't do as well or whatever.
No, the sophomore album did just as well.
And then just boom, just dropped off a cliff.
No more performing live.
No more doing anything.
So you believe that she could be dead?
I'm just saying that it's it's not impossible that somebody just said i don't want to do it anymore and i would like to be the new
avril lavigne i don't think that anybody's ever said that she they just said it's a clone like
this is a different person whether or not she's dead whether it's not whether it's somebody who
didn't want to do it anymore and was just tired of performing.
And so here's this person that we can put out there.
Conspiracy theories, we're going through them with NZ.
There's another one we read that Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you.
I'm going to let you finish.
But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. That whole altercation that they had when he stormed the stage at the awards was all
sort of scripted.
It was all behind the scenes.
It was organized.
Any truth to that?
I mean, it makes sense if you think about it, because Taylor was, she wasn't anywhere
like she is now.
And it's only because Kanye went up there and said, you know, I'm going to let you finish
that Taylor all of a sudden became like this huge thing.
She was popular, but she wasn't Taylor popular.
And then all of a sudden that happened.
Everybody started paying attention.
And then she used that.
And then think about this.
She's had basically, she had an ongoing feud for a decade.
And that's what she's good at, right?
She's good at dragging things out.
So I get to be upset at Kanye and Kim Kardashian and then bring their names in.
I'm the aggrieved victim here.
She's always the victim. Oh, you you know these guys broke up with me oh they hurt me you know everything all this stuff happened they hurt me that's how what she does and it started basically then
it's just like okay so Kanye did this now would Kanye be willing to do that absolutely why not
you know it brought him a ton of attention.
MTV was always doing stunts like that.
So a high concept stunt though, wasn't it?
She's going to come up and get an award.
He's going to be aggrieved that Beyonce didn't win the award.
Like, I mean, the writer's room really went deep on that one.
Have you, no, I don't know if we've ever asked you this.
Kanye West, have you come across him?
Lovely guy.
Is he a bit different to what he is publicly?
You know, the only time I think that I've ever come across him was old school Kanye.
2008 Kanye.
He was still making music that everybody liked.
He was fairly normal.
I know he's trying to, like, redeem himself and stuff, but the old Kanye was much different.
The old Kanye, the one that I saw, very easygoing, pretty likable,
fun guy, self-deprecating, was willing to hang out and stuff like that. And that is just 180 degrees
from this Kanye. Well, I imagine too, because bipolar, he deals with bipolar. And if you've
got that level of fame, it could be a dangerous cocktail for your mental health yeah whatever kind of
fame what you have well like whatever issues you have mentally speaking psychologically let's say
you have just a you know let's say you're narcissistic and just like that and then all
of a sudden you get a-list fame and a-list money it's only going to bring out the worst tendencies
characteristics of that narcissism right it's just going to make it that much worse so i guess the same could hold true if you're bipolar or something like that. And, you know,
you see it with, let's say, Britney Spears, right? She's had issues, obviously, with her mental
health. And sometimes you just see it being played out right in front of you prior to, you know,
her being, you know, released from the conservatorship when she was in the conservatorship.
You really didn't see it because there was somebody always there controlling her medications, doing this, keeping her away from whatever was going to make it worse, you know, because they wanted her to work for them.
And you saw this carefully managed, orchestrated version of Britney Spears.
And now that she's free to do whatever she wants, you see a very.
It's very sad.
It's very sad when you explain it like that.
But, you know, being here to do the same to me every morning just to keep me at bay.
