Now, we've known all week that you've been one of the contestants, one of the celebrity contestants on Celebrity Treasure Island. Yeah, it's been a hard secret to keep from me.

I've known all year. It's been a hot minute. I'm not very good at keeping secrets. I can imagine it would be because you kind of, you go off the grid as well, you know, no phones, no still contacts. So people are like, where's Jess? Where's she gone?

You can't probably say where you've gone or what you're doing. No, you literally have to be like, I'm going on like a social media break. Because otherwise people, like I came back and people thought I had died. So like, it's, yeah. So yes, I imagine there's a lot of people

in your life going, where are you? What are you doing? Do you get invited to things and you're just like, you can't reply? I missed my co-founder's wedding. Oh, did you? Yes, Jen's wedding. Did you? Yes. And you couldn't tell her why? Well, she knew because I was doing it for Voices of

Hope. So as the charity partner, she had to sign a contract. So I was like, okay, you can know and my house can know. Because if I disappear from my house and they're like where's Jazz so they were the only people that knew that I was doing it. So how was the experience looking back like have you ever gone through anything that tested you like this before? Oh I mean Dancing with the Stars tested me in the way that it was like 11 hours a day every single day for 11 weeks that was wild but nothing like this. Like we got put in this van that was blacked out.

All the windows were covered. You had no idea what was going on. And then they just drove you for like an hour and a half, two hours in this blacked out van to get to the location. So the whole, it was so wild. Like you don't know where you are. You're so disorientated. At any point are you like, guys, it's just TV. I felt like I was being kidnapped. I was like, this doesn't look like it's gonna end well yeah that is crazy so you you literally have no idea where you are when you arrive

no idea so it was really cool and you get down there and it's beautiful like it's just mountains everywhere in the lake water and it's stunning um i imagine cold at night time would it be so cold the water was freezing as well because it's fresh water too so like it's just it was you must be also like saying this is guys this was in bloody fiji years ago it was in fiji then it was up north you don't know when you sign up to the show you're like yeah i'll do it they went to fiji this is great and then you get told it's in wonaka and i'm like beautiful beautiful but Tropical location. And you don't know when you sign up to the show. You're like, yeah, I'll do it. They went to Fiji. They're like, this is great. And then you get told it's in Wanaka.

And I'm like. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. But not Fiji. Do they make you do water challenges and things? Yes. In the lake?

Yes. Fine line between Treasure Island and prison, isn't there? Yeah. Yeah. And we actually had a competition during the week where we knew it was you. and people were trying to guess the contestant we were talking about. And here was our winner. Have a listen to her. We think it's Chas Thornton.
