The Hits with Jono and Ben's Burnaphone actually, which is a shame because we really do enjoy doing that. We're at a work HITS boot camp at the moment.
Distinct lack of camping or boots.
Yep, nothing.
No exercise either, I noticed.
It's been fun.
It's been awesome getting the team together because, you know,
the HITS is right around New Zealand, so it's great to get everyone together.
Haven't been able to do it for many years because of COVID,
even since the time that we've been at the HITS.
So it's great to some people you're meeting in person for the
first time, which is great. It's lovely, lovely getting
the team together. So that took us out
of action to record an episode of the Burner Phone,
but we're back. We're back. Back this morning
we learned a lot of other stuff
at the boot camp too. I've done that, got that under about
the future of radio. Don't worry, it's safe.
It's safe. Audience, they're there.
Millions in their droves. Never been listened
to more commercial radio. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Millions in their droves. Never been listened to more commercial radio.
Yeah.
And the Burner phone is leading the charge.
It is.
You can digest content in many ways now, and this
is one of them, isn't it? Here we go.
Now, the Burner phone, a little slight twist today
where we're not going to necessarily
clear a traditional message.
If you would like to leave us one, text
Burner phone to 4487.
This is my mummy, Annie. Let's see what she wants.
We go raw. Annie, you're on the
BurnerPhone. What's going on, mate?
Oh, am I?
Oh, okay. Nothing very much. I just wondered
is that you, Jay? That's me, yep.
Whatever you need to say, you say it to our

You need me to pick you up?

He's very popular.
Are you there, Annie?
Yeah.
My phone's blowing up, babe.
My phone's blowing up.
Do you want me to pick you up on the way home?
Yes.
What time are you coming through?
I'll see you in about 25 minutes, but I'll call you when I'm on my way.
That'll be lovely.
I'll see you at the usual place in Teeth Street.
Let me guess, have you been lunching?
I had coffee.
The life of Annie.
Great, we all want to be leading that life, Annie.
I'll see you in the Teeth Street place but I'll
text me
and I'll be there waiting for you

You're just like, 10 years, mate.

To be honest, I probably would do it over 10 years.
He was like, how much do we give him?
I don't care.
I don't care, mate.
Sign him up for 10 years.
So yeah, I thought I got you an endorsement deal.
Oh, that's lovely.
If you could endorse any product, what do you think you would be worth?
What I would be worth doing?
Yeah, like could you host the family health diaries, something like that?
Oh, yeah.
Joint medication? Yeah, I could kind of do some joint medication stuff, I guess.
If there was a store maybe for adults that still could wear a lot of kids' clothing, you know,
because obviously you have your kids' clothing shops and you have your adult clothing,
but if there was a market, a little market of like, that would be probably for
me, you know.
So someone who's sort of trapped in between children's clothing and adult clothing, you
would be like.
Yeah.
You know, sometimes you're like, oh, I could probably put, you know, I could buy NBA clothing
for extra large kids.
Selling slightly larger than kids clothing.
Yeah.
But not fully developed. That's
what you think. That could be. I don't
know. You haven't put me on the spot. I've already signed up
to global, what is it? Global finance.
Ten years, baby. Ten years.
