We had our suspicions because of a few work things that she's, what's meant to be doing, that maybe the sickness was because she didn't want to do them. But anyway, we spoke to Andrew. She's seeing the story arc through to the weekend. Yeah, we're going to. I spoke to Andrew her husband yesterday, and this was his rolling coverage of Megan sickness. I've got to confirm she's lying here. She's looking pretty rough.

I don't know who that woman is in the bedroom. She'll be glad with that description. Would you expect her doing radio tomorrow? I don't think you want her in, maybe. hopefully back Monday Yeah so one of the things that she Was meant to be doing And she didn't end up doing because she was sick

Was hosting I guess like within our company here They have these sort of internal awards ceremonies You know where they happen from time to time Where they yeah it's a nice thing They congratulate people They've been great work behind the scenes Yes the Champions Awards They do like three a year

And so with Megan's absence I get a call from our boss Harry You know late Wednesday afternoon Hi you probably know what this is a bit Yeah. It's a sub in situation. So all I can imagine is Megan can't make it, Ben, he can't be bobbard. I'm the third choice option. I didn't get asked.

There you go. So you got the promotion. I reckon they definitely dog lead over to Tony Street first. Yeah, right. She had some other stuff on. So you go on stage with our boss, Michael Boggs, and you hand out these awards. And, yeah, I felt a little underprepared, to be honest. Producer Troy was recording this, so it's in front of the whole company.

People are zooming in from around the country. as well. Full transparency, not going to lie, Megan was meant to be doing this today. And she's a big champion, a big champion of sick days. She's not here today, but I do want to pass on my heartfelt gratitude to me. And she's like, if I can't be there, I want to hand it to someone who doesn't get any opportunity in this industry. And that's a middle-aged white man.

Just a smattering of morning, jewell. It's mid-morning. It's not the time. I mean, it's great that they do these, but everyone's like. Like, you just like, stuff to do. Yeah, it's awesome to recognise the people. What you did get, and you stepped in for me again, but you didn't get mocked. Roasted by our CEO, Michael Boggs.

So, like, he, yeah. Of my alcohol issues? Yeah, well, yeah. Like, he's decided that you were normally on your fourth glass of wine by now mid-morning. We really picked up the ball with a wine theme. Yeah, red wine. Yeah, right. He's like, John, another bottle of wine for Jono.

I was like, oh, he's really running with this red wine theme, isn't he? The problem is, when you're getting roasted by the CEO, you can't roast. back. No, you can't. No, you can't take it. You're thinking about your long-term employment. And you don't want to risk that. And the other thing is like, oh, they get it really early. You couldn't tell by all the wrinkles on his face too. He started with that one. And then he did the classic, good

of you to dress up for the occasion too as well. And now, Ben, you've been wearing it for many years. That was his dress. That was his dress. I was a shirt jacket.
