She's going to be performing with the Jonas Brothers in Auckland, all thanks to the power of social media, basically pestering them online in a huge campaign that really took off. And they Zoomed her to tell her that she's going to be performing with her.

And she joins us in the studio right now. Paige. G'day. How are you? I'm good. How are you going? You must be doing all right. I mean, this is pretty surreal.

I imagine this whole situation. I'll be honest, I haven't slept. I don't mean coming to see us. I mean about the Jonas Brothers. Oh, no, this is great. This is just as big. Don't lie. So you did a Jonas Brothers cover like a while ago and they did the little eye emoji on it one of them did was it Joe Jonas it was Joe yeah

and so is this how it all sort of came about yeah yeah I mean like that day I was like oh I need to find something interesting to do on TikTok or whatever because I'm bad at TikTok. So I'll be like, what do I love the Jonas Brothers? Maybe I should just like hit them up. Be like, shoot my shot. Yeah. You're coming to New Zealand. You put the eye emoji on one of my videos.

Yeah. Could you perform for them? I'm going to perform with them. And it's happening. It's actually happening. It's happening. It's so cool. So they called you on Zoom. Were you just like, what is life right now?

Yeah, well, I was at breakfast and I got this, I got like a Zoom link. They're like, can you Zoom us at one or whatever? And I was like, oh my God. And I just got up and started walking down the street. Did you pay for your breakfast? No. No, I didn't actually. Like my friend had to pay for it for me because I left.

Good play. Good play Good play And so they zoomed you that afternoon Yeah And said would you like to open for us No I'm going to sing with them Oh wow So this is a thing that everyone's getting confused Because I was like

I never said that I wanted to open I just wanted to sing this Camp Rock song So you're obviously a big fan of Camp Rock The Camp Rock movies Yeah I love I mean I guess like my inner child That's kind of why I started making music Was because of that movie song so you're obviously a big fan of camp rock the crap camp rock movies yeah i love i mean i guess like my inner child that's kind of why i started making music was because of that movie and like because of disney channel and stuff so i was like oh if i ever got a chance to sing this

song with joe jonas i would be stoked i was like why not why not just try it i was gonna do the one video and leave it and just like not even try but then he commented on it so i was like oh i'm gonna have to keep going you know because he didn't give me an answer for six months playing hard to get this is cooler though because instead of opening a lot of people open and they might not even see the artist backstage or whatever you're going to be on stage with them yeah do you know how many songs you're going to do i have no idea i mean i'm guessing just one, but that's enough. Camp Rock. That's how I'm going to walk out on the stage.

Yeah, the whole chant and everything. So you're going to be brushing up on all the Camp Rock songs potentially now? I do not need to brush up. Phil's been knowing it for years. Okay, because I was looking at BuzzFeed. There was a little BuzzFeed article saying about the best Camp Rock songs, And I want to see if you can guess the songs on their description. Okay. Oh.

Okay. So they say about one song, in three short minutes, the world fell in love with their young Nick Jonas. All I want in this life is Nick Jonas to sing me a song about homemade quesadillas and the word dude. We do not deserve him. What song are they talking about?

the more mockable camp rock becomes. Like low key. Low key. Okay, finally, Jo Jonas looked at Demi Lovato and realised that she'd been the mystery girl all along. He grabbed the mic and joined her on stage to finish the song. A moment of true love, it was... This is me and it will be me.

You're there for music and you love a cat rock. I got a man. I'm alright. Oh, we're so stoked for you. This is such a cool story that you're getting to perform that's surreal, like with the Jonas Brothers. I think like because they were like my childhood
