Thanks to Hello Fresh, cook easy, delicious dinners, the whole family will love because nothing beats dinner time.
I mean, pretty good. Look at you guys already getting, you're getting our audio before we play it.
Oh, technically we're a day ahead, so we should be able to play it first.
We should be able to play your interview before you.
You did earn it.
Yeah, we did, you're right.
Linear-wise, the way the world clock works.
Yeah, we have it first.
Fresh off your Taylor Swift interview, did she come into the studio, Nicole?
Yeah, no.
So she hasn't come into the studio since Lover.
And I honestly thought she was going to stop doing press in general.
She's sort of her own press machine, right?
It's not like she needs to go promote the album
and make sure that everybody buys it.
Where was she zooming from?
Her apartment.
So this is the thing.
We thought she was in the UK
because she was there like all last weekend.
You saw all of all the interviews she was doing there.
Then when we were talking to her,
we heard sirens that were blatantly like New York City sirens.
Well, that's what you can do
when you got a private jet.
You can bloody gas guzzled your way around the world.
But she's in the same city.
Turn up to her in the studio.
Oh, yeah.
We say, hey, you got Taylor Swift.
This is pretty exciting.
I mean, what was the big takeaways?
We're going to play some audio.
But what was the big takeaways from chatting to Taylor?
I mean, she just sounded so overly happy.
Like, she was giddy like a kid.
She was saying that it was Travis's birthday,
and she's just so happy that he exists.
It's his birthday today, too.
So I'm just like thinking about how grateful I am that he exists.
It's all turned out great
And he's one of those people
Where as soon as you meet him
You kind of know he's the best
And you kind of know there's no one else on the planet
That's ever been even remotely similar to him
He's like one of one
I was like
I don't think anyone said that about me ever
Yeah I don't think my husband is even that happy
That I exist
I'm honest
When you get someone like Taylor Swift
Which doesn't happen every day
What's the criteria behind it?
How long do you get actually to chat to her?
Do you have any no-go areas, things like that?
Oh, it's funny.
I'm trying to think of the celebrity that it was.
But a while ago, we had a very big celebrity on Zoom.
We were allowed three minutes, and I was like, what can you get done in three minutes?
That wasn't taste.
We got 10 minutes.
A lot, all right, all right.
If you're talking to my wife, a lot.
Three minutes is a long time to come.
Two children.
Got the job done, and it out.
Exactly.
It's efficient.
We know you don't want to be long.
they gave us that's amazing that was that really made my whole day um they gave us 10 minutes
and then while we're on somebody is messaging our producer ben don't she they don't have to stop
she's having fun end it when it's like naturally ends so it's awesome does you remember you from
previous occasions he said like i always wonder that because i'm like she comes across like is she just
a great actress when you're that kind of superstar like how do you remember all the people that you
me, the fans, and then all the places that you do interviews.
Like, it's got to be impossible.
Like, I don't think I'd be able to do it.
So I sometimes feel like she's just an amazing actress,
but she really is so genuine.
She said as soon as you got on, she was like,
you guys, I'm sorry, I haven't seen you in so long,
but she was like, I'll never forget the support that you gave me.
Like, you guys talk to me when nobody was, like, wanted to talk to me back in the day.
She meant like she remembered us.
I wanted to say thank you so much for coming to see the tour.
I mean, obviously.
You couldn't miss it.
Maybe a couple of us may have gone more than once, just saying.
That means a lot.
Now, the album's been getting mixed reviews.
Megan not convinced fully yet.
She thinks it might be a grower.
Oh, Nicole's face right now.
We can see Nicole over Zoom.
It's an open-mouth face.
The hands are on the head.
Megan, I know that this is your show, but get out right now.
No, it's just, like, I expected more because it's called The Life of a Showgirl.
I expected it to be maybe a bit more upbeat.
I respectfully disagree.
she just and she said something like she thought she thought for a long time that she could only be successful if she was like chronically single like she didn't she was very afraid that she wasn't going to be able to make good music if she finally found real happiness one day and she's so grateful that it's not the case anymore so no I feel like an asshole yeah well you are I don't like happy Taylor Robbins you're an asshole but we're happy you exist that's right that's where we wanted to know
It's funny because people made an edit of when she was on New Heights with him
and when she was announcing the different tracks,
the titles of the different tracks,
and then hit an edit and froze hit when she goes,
the next one is Wood, and his face is literally like he's just,
he knows this song is about his junk,
and he is so excited for everybody to hear it.
Oh, is it a song about his private parts?
What does your mom's face do when you play Wood for her for the first time?
What happens?
I think that she thinks that that song is about superstitions, popular superstitions, which it absolutely is.
Andrea, we love you.
It's so sweet.
That's the joy of the double entendre.
That would be pretty stoked to have a song.
Unless it's a really small song, it's all over it.
It's really short.
30 seconds.
It's slightly disappointing.
Megan's not a fan of it.
Yeah.
Might be a grower.
It might be a grower.
Good on you, Nicole.
Have a great day over there.
Bye, guys.
Talk to you soon.
Bye.
