John O'Bannon Megan, the podcast, the hits. We go to New York now with our New York correspondent, Nicole. We love to catch up with her each week to talk entertainment. How you going, Nicole? I'm doing well. How are you guys? We're doing great. Now we want to bring you into a bit of a debate that just happened on our show and see what your thoughts are.

Now we got talking about who would be the most famous person in the world. Now this is not necessarily on like... Popularity. Yeah, it's just meaning that if you took a picture of that person anywhere in the world, would they be recognized? And we got down to Taylor Swift versus Donald Trump. They're eating the dogs. They're eating the cats.

I mean, that's a good one. Okay. I want to say Taylor. Like, that's what I want to say. But I feel like the entire world knows who is the president of the United States of America. I'm with you. Like, there's not one president. Right?

Like, even if you don't know Taylor for some reason because you've been living under a rock. Like, everyone knows who that man is. I mean, if you took an actual survey, I'm sure it would be neck and neck. But if I had to choose, I guess I would choose Trump. Not because I want to. But here was my argument, because we also – I'm with you, Nicole. Firstly, thank you.

That's exactly my argument. I'm with you, Megan. But we're also talking younger people, too. Like, so my kids are, like, two and four. They know who Taylor is, but they don't know who Trump is. That's actually a really good point. Thank you. Don't you guys – I don't know. trump is that's actually a really good point don't you go

no i'm just trying to think like when my son was like six he knew who mcdonald trump was which is what he called him yeah i mean that's probably because like we live in this country so yeah that's the only thing that might pull it in i didn't think about the kids because that is a large part of the population i reckon when it, I reckon, when it comes down to the picture for me, I feel like it's still Donald Trump mostly. Mostly. Listening to Taylor Swift, I am 100% But I feel like music reaches people, whereas not everyone

people shut off politics and people don't want to know about politics. We could go on about this forever. It's a very heated argument. If you want a good reason to cause friction in your radio studio tomorrow, why don't you pitch it to your show? If I said one thing about Donald Trump on my radio show, I would probably be fired.

It's just not the audience slash the reason that people come to listen to our show. It's to get away from things that involve Donald Trump. Listen, speaking of, it's been a big couple of weeks over there in America. And since Trump has been in power, he sent out the ICE agents to go and collect the immigrants, the illegal immigrants, kick them all out of the country. Yeah, I mean, I don't think it's actually all happened just yet, but it is slowly but surely happening. And I think that we knew that this was going to happen. And there's a lot of people that think that that needs to happen. And there's a lot of people that think it's a vile move. I know Selena Gomez recently posted something. I think she

deleted it, though. She posted a video. And I believe she is Mexican. And listen, anybody can feel sadness for any hardship of any human on the face of the earth. Like, it doesn't matter, like, what race, religion, color. And I think that she just, you know, she is of Mexican descent. And this is happening with specifically people who are coming in from Mexico. And so I'm sure it triggered her a little bit. I don't know if it was necessary for people to go after her because of that. Everyone's it's okay to feel sad for people who are going through something tough.

And I think that's the only thing that she did wrong. I saw somebody, some, I don't know whether it was like a Senator. Somebody just said that she should be deported for posting that video. Yeah. We're all out of our opinion. So you think that's why she deleted it?

Because she got a hard time from people saying that she was upset? Yeah, that happens often with her. She is a big poster and then deleter. I don't know how people can come for someone when she was like quite distraught. She was sobbing. How can you come for anyone when you can see that they're that upset? Oh, contentious issue. Yeah, I don't know.

And also like when I'm that upset, the first thing, and I'm not, I love Selena Gomez. The first thing when I'm like weeping, like, when I'm that upset, the first thing, and I'm not, I love Selena Gomez. The first thing when I'm, like, weeping like that, when I'm, like, ugly crying, I do not grab my phone and videotape myself. That's not what I do, but that's just me. I'm an ugly crier, too. Son, me too. Like, when you can't control yourself. Like, if I go to the movies with my kid, it's over. Because I always cry at the end.

I don't care if it's a Disney movie, if it's a Pixar movie. I don't care what it is. I'm if it's a Pixar movie I don't care what it is I'm a grown up I get very emotional and once I start like my daughter's like you're so embarrassing

get away from me my issue is too they're always doing those big those big pinnacle moments at the end of the movie so you have to sit there with tears

and you have to watch all the credits just to let your face calm down I want to see who the second gaffer was in the movie and travis kelsey taylor swift's boyfriend and his team the kansas city chiefs made it back again to the super bowl yeah i mean i'm having deja vu i you know i said it on the radio i said

and of course like these teams they work so hard all of them and i'm like joking but like honestly like give another team a chance. It's kind of boring to have the same team in it again. It's kind of like, I don't know, but I mean, the best man won. It is what it is. And I can't believe when we saw Taylor on the field kissing Travis and so proud of everything

that this time last year, we all were watching. We couldn't stop because we were like, oh my god, they're kissing. Oh my God, she's hugging him. Oh my God, she's on the field. It's very funny to like watch it now.

He's going to have to propose, I think, or something because they're going to have to elevate it up for the ratings, aren't they? But also I feel like

let's say he wins the Super Bowl. Let's say the Chiefs win. Honestly, he should probably just retire. Like that would be four Super Bowls for him. He is, he's made the Hall of Fame.

He's one of the greatest football players of all time. He's got a mega podcast deal. Yeah, the podcast is massive. Yes. He can just go do that. He's a bajillionaire. It doesn't get better than this. Stay off into the sunset.

Don't stay to play football so you can get CTE or bust something else in your body. Go. Just get out of here. He's done life. He's finished life. Last year, we were talking about his big celebration, how they celebrated.

He did the, in Las Vegas, he did this song. You'll remember. Viva Las Vegas. Oh, it's terrible. Yeah. And then he did another one this year. It's not good. He needs to not sing.

He needs to leave that to his woman. It gave me the ick last year when he did Viva Las Vegas, but he has done it again. Let's do a little dance. Do a little dance. Make a little love. Get down tonight. See, I like it. I like it.

It's endearing to me. I like it. Yeah. I mean, I'll make a little love with you, Travis, but I do not want to dance or hear you sing about dancing. But listen, this is him. Like, even long before he was with her, like, this was always his reputation.

He does not care what other people think, which I think is also endearing. Just want to get a vibe check over there. It felt like there was a huge groundswell around the Super Bowl last year and a lot had to do with their relationship. Is that still the same this year or is it buttoned off a bit? I think it's probably buttoned off a bit because, like I said, it was so new and we were hanging on every picture and every look and every time the camera panned

to her or him or to either of them think we're a little bit more used to it everyone's like seen it yeah been there done that new story next next I'm gonna put it out there and I don't have anything against Travis but I think 2025 is gonna be the year that it

In the year, Hoover's right. Okay, something. I think that they're going to get engaged at some point this year. Now, we have what? We have 11 months to go. I do think that it's going to happen at some point this year, and I don't think it'll be public, and I think it'll be kept a secret for a long time.

Well, we've covered the spectrum here. We've got a breakup, we've got a proposal, and what are you saying, Ben? Well, I'm saying they're staying together. They could be getting married. He's going for the easy option. Maybe they'll just knock her up and they'll have a baby out of wedlock. There's so many options.
