It's about 2.30 in the afternoon here on the East Coast of the United States. Yesterday, President Biden said something with which I am in full agreement.

And he is furious that federal dollars have been used without informing the recipient, the entity that gave the money. The federal dollars have been used to create new viruses. Yeah, that sounds scary and terrifying. But the Daily Mail of London reported a few weeks ago, judging Freedom covered this, that Boston University researchers, pursuant to a grant from the National Institutes of Health in Atlanta, received a couple of million dollars, used that couple of million dollars to create new horrific forms of COVID. And Biden's basically saying, well, you can't do that. First of all, you can't use our

money contrary to the way we gave it to you. Of course, it's not his money. It's money borrowed in the taxpayer's name. But that's not the point that I want to make. The point is that the government does not have aggressive enough controls over how the money it gives away is being used. And the second point is Biden is right to say to these researchers who get federal dollars that you shouldn't be making these new viruses. Now, the researchers say, well, we have a better understanding of COVID when we make these new ones. And Biden's people are saying, and suppose this stuff gets out. For all we know, that's how COVID started, Dr. Fauci, in one of the experiments where it got out and a million people died before we realized this

pandemic was caused by the very governments that tried to take credit for stopping it. So if the feds are going to give away money to researchers at universities, and in my view, this is not a federal function, but it's been the law of the land in the post-World War II era, they should at least have controls on what's being done with that money. And the last thing we want is for that money to be used to construct viruses that will escape normal controls. Now, can President Biden stop private dollars from being used to construct these viruses? The short answer is no. The longer answer is there are inspectors that he can send out there, but there's very little that the federal government can do.

In fact, it's not even easy for the federal government, thanks be to God, to get onto private property. We don't know of private labs where this stuff is happening. We didn't even know that it was happening at Boston University until somebody who worked on it there spilled the beans to a British newspaper. Now we know about it. Now the feds know about it. Now the president knows about it. Now he wants to stop it. I wish you had stopped it earlier, Mr. President, but I'm glad you see through this. More as we get it. Judge Napolitano for judging freedom.
