Hi everyone, Judge Andrew Napolitano here for Judging Freedom. Today is Monday, December 16th, 2024. Chief Dennis Fritz is here and will be with us in a moment on Benjamin Netanyahu's lust for Syrian land. But first this. We're taught to work hard for 35 to 40 years. Save your money,
Starting point is 00:01:26 then live off your savings. Unfortunately, there are too many threats undermining the value of our hard-earned dollars. The Fed's massive money printing machine is shrinking your dollar's value. Just the cost of groceries is absurd. Let me be brutally honest. I think the dollar is on its way to being extinct. Not just here, but globally. The BRICS nations, led by Russia and China, threaten to remove the dollar as the world's reserve currency. Central banks have been shifting away from the dollar and into gold.
Starting point is 00:02:01 And if we go to central bank digital currency, that will not only destroy the dollar, but we will lose our freedom. We will lose our privacy. They can track anything we do. You need to take care of yourself and your family. So here's what you need to do. Immerse yourself in knowledge and information.
Starting point is 00:02:17 The writing is on the wall. Now is the time to consider shifting some of your dollars into gold and silver as your bedrock financial asset. Call my friends at Lear Capital, the leader in precious metals investing for over 27 years. They help me diversify into gold and silver. They can help you, too. Call Lear today at 800-511-4620, 800-511-4620, or go to learjudgenap.com. Chief Fritz, welcome here, my dear friend. Always a pleasure to be able to chat with you. I do want to ask you about Syria and whether American troops were involved. We know that to some extent they were, not boots on the ground, but planes in the air. But before we do, earlier today, the government of Chancellor
Starting point is 00:03:16 Scholz in Germany collapsed. This is the same government that allowed the American military and CIA to destroy the Nord Stream pipeline, its principal source of inexpensive fuel for the winter. The leading opposition leader is in favor of heavily arming Ukraine. What do you make of all this? Judge, craziness, if you will. It's almost like, you know, you're willing to destroy your own country on behalf of the United States and its imperialistic goals. You're willing to freeze your country, especially during the winter, on behalf of an imperialistic goal. And then when you talk
Starting point is 00:04:06 about arming Ukraine to the T, what you're doing is continually expanding the war until it ends up being what some have been saying for a while now. We will end up in World War III. You were the highest ranking enlisted officer in the military. How do enlisted personnel feel about America goading other countries into war? Well, let me just correct one thing, Judge. I was one of the highest enlisted personnel for the Air Force, and I had two of DOD's highest enlisted positions. Okay. Okay. But I will tell you this, is that we are the ones that the old say, so-called boots on the ground. I don't like to say that because we're human beings, but when you start goading us into war, we and our families are the ones that make the sacrifice. You know, you've had me on before when we talked about my book, Deadly Betrayal. And that was the reason why I wrote that book.
Starting point is 00:05:17 If you take a look at, you know, the Iraq war in 2003, 4,500 military men and women lost their lives based on being goaded into a war. Over hundreds of thousands that have been wounded for life, both mentally and physically. So we don't take it too lightly when we are out there, you know, being the ones that have to make the sacrifice for our arrogance, you know, by our government, you know, goading us into war that we're the only superpower. We can go anywhere we so desire and please and put boots on the ground. Well, we're the boots on the ground. We are human beings. Do the enlisted folks mumble, grumble to themselves,
Starting point is 00:06:01 why are they doing this again? Why is Joe Biden doing this? Why is Ronald doing this again? Why is Joe Biden doing this? Why is Ronald Reagan doing that? Why is Bill Clinton doing this? Why is Barack Obama doing that? Or do they just obey? Judge, that is one of the problems. Yes, we're taught to obey unless we know something truly to be illegal. To be quite frank with you, when you go into the military, you're indoctrinated that we're to go and fight America's wars. And that's why there's a lot of disinformation out there of the reasons why we go to war. It's in defense of our country. They go to us by way of when we come back. It's become a statement
Starting point is 00:06:40 now that a lot of us retirees and veterans, you know, don't appreciate it anymore. Thank you for your service. You know, everybody says that. Well, I think most mean that. But we're beginning to, you know, just really not appreciate that as we look and see, OK, why are we going to these wars? Yes. The young enlisted troops, especially, you know, from their families, when they're being asked the question, why are you deploying to, you know, such and such? Why are you going over there? And most of the time, our military men and women, especially in the enlisted corps, don't know. They're just being told, hey, we have an enemy to fight. So the bottom line, we're indoctrinated to fight wars and not question the wars unless we absolutely know something is illegal. I mean, what conceivable national security threat did north
Starting point is 00:07:26 vietnam pose to the united states i would imagine if you asked a lot of um guys my age my generation why did you fight that war they would say well i was drafted i had no choice but i mean morally why did you fight the war what were you for? What was gained by killing these people in their pajamas and flip-flops in the jungle? We demonize those countries. We demonize them. If you don't kill that person across the room, that person will kill you. We demonize them. How about this, Judge? What threat did, to be quite frank with you, did Afghanistan and the Taliban have against us? They didn't attack us. What was the threat of Saddam?
Starting point is 00:08:10 I asked many of our audience, and I want your audience to know this, both nationally and internationally, what threat did Saddam have? He was no threat to us. How about Syria now? Syria absolutely was no threat to us. And to be quite frank with you, let's take it a step further. Iran is no threat to us. And so we're told that these are the enemies. They want to
Starting point is 00:08:34 change our way of life, where they're not over here trying to change our way of life. We're over there in their parts of the world trying to change their life in so-called, quote, quote, democracy. I think you're 100% correct, Sarge, Chief. Why did the United States foment the destruction of Syria? Judge, that is part of the master plan going all the way back to the 90s. And as you, you know, I've articulated and stated in my book, the first one was Saddam to take out Saddam and the second country to take out, which I've seen lately, a lot of people are quoting General Wesley Clark and the seven countries where I saw those documents directly. He said, hey, there was one guy that used to work for him in the Pentagon that, you know, said, hey, look at here,
Starting point is 00:09:19 boss, look what I have here, where I actually saw the document personally. And Saddam and Iraq was the first part of that plan. And Syria was next. The only reason we didn't physically go into Syria during that time because we were going to put boots on the ground in Syria was because of the Iraqi insurgency. Now, the folks, the neocons and those folks that follow that doctrine, it's a long-term strategy, Judge, long-term. And they were able to change their plan instead of us going in directly after we lost 4,500 men and women. We went covertly. Syria was always part of the master plan. In 2004, 2005, we were going to go in there physically, boots on the ground. Starting around 2011 to 2017, we started doing it covertly, paying. And they're going to try to do that internally. It will not be as easy as it was. If you look at it, it took many years to finally get to Assad. But it's going to be a lot harder with Iran. They're going to try to do that internally.
Starting point is 00:10:41 And I mentioned that in my book. It's already started with Bibi Netanyahu. He's already so-called given a speech to the Iranian people about how you need to take back your country from the Ayatollahs. And so we've already started the final stage of the Middle East takeover on behalf of Israel. Here's someone else who agrees with you about the United States exporting violence and provoking wars. But before we run it, Chris, do we still have the clip of General Wesley Clark referring to that document? All right, Chris is going to look for it. While he's looking for it, Chris, play Putin 12, please. Today, the military and political situation in the world remains difficult and unstable. Bloodshed in the Middle East and high conflict potential remains in a number of other regions of the world.
Starting point is 00:11:55 We see that the current US administration, almost the entire collective West, does not give up trying to maintain its global dominance, and continues to impose its so-called rules on the world community, which at the same time changes over and over again, distorts facts because it is convenient for them. But in fact, there is only one stable rule, no rules for those who do this, for those who consider themselves at the head of the whole world, those who are representatives of the Lord on earth, although they themselves do not believe in the Lord and wage hybrid wars against undesirable states and implement a policy of containment, including in relation to Russia, the desire to weaken our country to cause a defeat for us, the United States is send advisors and thereby signaling a future escalation of the conflict.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Oh, very calm, very methodical. President Putin speaking to the defense establishment in Moscow. The U.S. thinks it's lord of the world and doesn't even believe in God. Well, Judge, you know, we say that, but I got to tell you, I've said in the past, in fact, in the last couple of weeks, let's take Gaza, for example. We're supposed to be a God fearing country, but yet I've been disappointed in the church of how we allow innocent women and children to be killed in Gaza, destroyed young children losing limbs. But yet we are afraid for some reason to speak out against that, but yet we're supposed to be God-loving people. Now let's go back. I believe in truth no matter what. And sometimes if we happen to be in agreement with Putin, we're demonized as spreading
Starting point is 00:13:41 Putin propaganda. But let's take a look at this. Just look at our own CNIs. As I stated earlier, look at Iraq. There was no really true justification for us to go in and invade Iraq. Look at what we've done to Syria. And think about Libya when you were talking about the peace with General Wesley Clark. Look at Libya, what we've done to Libya. It is a destroyed country. And likewise, that's what happened in Syria too. But hey, guess what? Bibi Netanyahu does not care. Why?
Starting point is 00:14:14 Because it is the second leg of the master plan. We've gotten rid of Assad, a stronghold man who was really, whether we like him or not, he was holding that country together. But based on billions and billions of dollars that we poured in there covertly to take down Assad, as I mentioned earlier, it's a long-term strategy. Look how long. From 2004 to 2005, we were planning on going into
Starting point is 00:14:37 Syria physically, boots on the ground, and it didn't work out, as I alluded to earlier, because the Iraqi insurgents got bogged down there. But look, we changed our plan and then we started doing it convertly. And then look, in 2024, Assad is gone. Look at our footprint around the world. Look at when Syria went down so quickly. We were so quickly to say how Russia couldn't respond. Iran couldn't respond. Why? Because we weakened them. So we
Starting point is 00:15:07 are using and abusing the people of Ukraine, as I stated previously, killing their young men and women. And now we want them to recruit 18 to 25-year-olds so more could be killed, having their infrastructure destroyed so that, guess what? We can weaken Russia. It's right before our eyes. Sometimes we just have to be, you know, truth and look ourselves in the mirror. And let me just say this, Judge. I love my country. When I was overseas, a sign I couldn't wait to get back to the United States of America. But that does not stop me criticizing my country when I see wrongness. And we should all criticize our country when I see wrongness. And we should all criticize our country when we see wrongness. Chief, here's the clip you alluded to and that we ran
Starting point is 00:15:53 a few weeks ago. It's General Wesley Clark in 2007. Now you tell us if you think he's referring to the same document that you saw? He said, I just got this down from upstairs meeting the Secretary of Defense's office today. And he said, this is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off Iran. I said, is it classified? He said, yes, sir. I said, well, don't show it to me. If you were Iran, you'd probably believe that you were mostly already at war with the United States anyway, since we've asserted that their government needs regime change. And we've asked Congress to appropriate 75 million
Starting point is 00:16:46 dollars to do it and we are supporting terrorist groups, apparently, who are infiltrating and blowing up things inside Iraq, Iran. And if we're not doing it, let's put it this way, we're probably cognizant of it and encouraging it. So, it's not surprising that we're moving to a point of confrontation crisis with Iran. Chief, do you think you saw the same document to which General Clark was referring? Oh, there's no doubt and a few others as well. There's no doubt. The key now is that, you know, people like the media, historians or whatever, they should request freedom of information request now. Because, in fact, guess what? I quoted that in my book. It's declassified now.
Starting point is 00:17:33 And so they should go and find it themselves. Now, let me just mention something else, Judge, that disappoints me. You know, you look at General Clark and he said that during that particular interview, my biggest disappointment is why have not more general officers come out that know the true meaning of why we went into Iraq, why we covertly in Syria and planning war with Iran? Some of them know, as Wesley Clark mentioned, the officers that showed him that paper, why don't they come out now? It's just shameful when you talk about enlisted men and women you know i've been asked why did i wait so long to write my book well i was hoping and praying that someone in a higher category than me like some general officer or some former cabinet member who knows the truth would come out and say
Starting point is 00:18:21 it i didn't i was hoping that the chief master sergeant, an enlisted man, would not have to come out and do this. It should be general officers. And General Clark should be more forceful now, knowing that that paper existed. He should be more forceful now. And guess what? And the reason I'm so disappointed, Judge, 4,500 military men and women lost their lives based on that paper. Over 100,000 wounded for life mentally and physically because of that paper. And my biggest disappointment is me, a chief master sergeant, command chief master sergeant, had to come out and lay that out when people like General Wesley Clark knows the truth. That is a big disappointment to me. The people that struck the final blow, if you will, that crushed the Syrian government and effectively the Syrian state were this group HTS, which the American State Department has categorized as a terrorist organization.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I think the statute is faulty, but once the Secretary of State characterizes some group as a terrorist organization, anyone who supplies material assistance to that organization can be indicted, prosecuted, and if convicted, confined. How can the CIA provide material assistance to a terrorist organization, the head of which, this guy Al Jelani, has a $10 million bounty on his head? What message does the United States government send when it does that? Judge, it's right before our eyes and we have to recognize it. As I stated before, I love my country, but we are a corrupt country. All you have to do, I'll give you a better example than that. How about the arms that we're providing to Israel right now that's breaking all State Department policy in killing
Starting point is 00:20:24 women and children? We're providing arms that Israel is using offensively, killing innocent women and children. We are always doing corrupt things, and we might as well just recognize that. It's so disappointing. We always are breaking international law and our own policies, and it's just unfortunate and a disgrace. And we have no grounds to talk about how we're the leader in humaneness and humanity, because we're being shown how corrupt we truly are. And the only way we can change that is you allowing people like myself and others who you have on to come out and share what we know. We can give you facts, which I've given you some facts. We can give you opinions and we can give you assumptions, but we need to continue different programs like this and so that we can change this. And so our people are educated to understand how
Starting point is 00:21:15 truly our government is corrupt. And I wanted to see a fair, a good government. I love my country, but I'm disappointed. Chief, is there a segment of the CIA that's a terrorist organization? Well, I got to tell you, I'm not an expert. I'll leave that for the Raymond Governors of the world and so forth. I don't know, Judge. Like I said, I always try to give facts of what I know that can give you an opinion and give you an assumption. I can't even give you an assumption or a fact on that. But here's what I will tell you. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Chief Dennis Fritz, thank you very much. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your passion, patriotism, intellect, and courage. It's a pleasure to be able to chat with you, my friend. Thank you, Judge. Always an honor and a pleasure to be with you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:22:06 All right Chief. I have the list for tomorrow and now I've misplaced it. All right we have Ambassador Craig Murray at eight in the morning. At 10 in the morning we have Professor Jeffrey Sachs. Trying to find my list. I can't find it. At two in the afternoon, Scott Ritter. At three in the afternoon, Karen Kwiatkowski.
