Hi, everyone. Judge Andrew Napolitano here for Judging Freedom. Today is Tuesday, February,
excuse me, September. It's very cold here, but it's not February. September 27th, 2022. It's
about 1.20 in the afternoon here on the East Coast of the United States. Late last
night, the Justice Department filed with the special master, this is in the Mar-a-Lago
FBI execution of a search warrant at Donald Trump's home. It's in this case of which I speak. Remember that the federal judge in the case, Judge Aileen Cannon, before whom Trump's challenge of the execution of the search warrant at his home was placed, appointed a special master, also a federal judge, Judge Raymond Deary, who sits in Brooklyn, New York. Judge Raymond Deary,
when he met with lawyers for the DOJ and for Trump last week, instructed the DOJ to submit a list,
a detailed, specific list of everything that was seized from Trump's home because Trump claimed,
not in the courtroom, but in the court of public opinion, in his PR campaign against the DOJ, the former president its review of everything it seized from Donald Trump's
home. And here, Judge Raymond Deary is the complete list minus the 334 documents that
were more classified. Those documents, the appeals court in Atlanta told the lawyers for the DOJ they did not have to share with Trump's
lawyers and they did not have to share with the special master. And the special master,
even though he says he still has a top secret classified security clearance from when he was
on the FISA court, said he doesn't want to see those documents. So minus the national defense
information documents, the special master and Donald Trump's lawyers have a list of everything
the DOJ says it sees from Trump's home. Now the burden shifts to Trump's lawyers to either verify
that this list is accurate or to demonstrate what on this list was not in Trump's
home and was added to the list by the FBI, which is a claim that Trump made. So we'll see where
this goes. That document, the Trump lawyer's document, is due at noon on Friday. Soon as it
comes in and we look at it,
more as we get it. Judge Napolitano for Judging Freedom.
