Starting point is 00:00:03 Undeclared wars are commonplace. Pragically, our government engages in preemptive war, otherwise known as aggression, with no complaints from the American people. Sadly, we have become accustomed to living with the illegitimate use of force by government. To develop a truly free society, the issue of initiating force must be understood and rejected. What if sometimes to love your country you had to alter or abolish the government? the government? What if Jefferson was right? What if that government is best, which governs least?
Starting point is 00:00:39 What if it is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong? What if it is better to perish fighting for freedom than to live as a slave? What if freedom's greatest hour of danger is now? Hi, everyone. Judge Andrew Napolitano here for Judging Freedom. Today is Wednesday, February 4th, 2026. The great Phil Giraldi joins us now. He objected to that title, but I'm calling him that anyway, our friendship is long and our professional collaboration is deep. Before we get into the subjects, I know you want to discuss, there are some breaking news. Apparently, the United States and Iran have agreed not to talk to each other. I'll ask you to comment on that in a moment, even though they were scheduled to have talks early next week. And one of
Starting point is 00:01:44 the British newspapers is reporting that Sir Keir Starrmer, the British Prime Minister, will resign as Prime Minister before the day is out. The former, the no Iran-U.S. talks seems credible. The latter, we don't know if it's credible. We'll find out if there's more news that comes our way during the show. Is Donald Trump intellectually competent to be president of the United States? I don't think he's intellectually competent enough to run a hot dog stand. And I think I've said that before. I mean, all you have to do is listen to him or see the things he writes in his frantic mode during the night.
Starting point is 00:02:30 And, you know, this guy is completely unhinged from any form of reality. He's probably, if one wants to feel sorry for him, he's probably a victim of the people who dominate him, like the people in his so-called cabinet, and people like Benjamin Netanyahu. And these are the ones who kind of put ideas in his head, I think, if he hasn't. head, I think. Is he morally capable of being present in the United States? I mean, he's arguably trying to shake down the government that he controls for $10 billion in a nonsensical claim that because his tax returns were leaked,
Starting point is 00:03:23 he lost $10 billion in business opportunities, a claim he could never prove. Well, his lack of morality goes way beyond that. I mean, he's been, according to the recent article I wrote, which cites information that was appeared in an article in the New York Times, which appears to be credible. He basically has already arranged various scams with foreign countries and with donors and things like that, that have enriched him personally and his family to the tune of $1.4 billion. And also, of course, as you just mentioned, he's suing his own government, the United States government. He's the head of the United States government.
Starting point is 00:04:15 He's suing it for $10 billion, which would go to him and his family. It's just incredible. This man is insane. And then I would put on top of that, this stuff that's. been going on in Gaza. He's got this so-called peace arrangement and a ceasefire, none of which have been in effect, in fact, because Israel has violated all of them, has killed over 600 Palestinians. And yesterday, when they were supposed to open the Rafah crossing and let some people who needed medication out, they only let five people out of the 20,000 or so who were waiting,
Starting point is 00:04:57 And there were ambulances lined up to take them to Egypt and other places for treatment. And they only let five out. Has Trump said anything about this? Of course not. He is totally owned by the Israel lobby, by the state of Israel, by that real scumbag of Benjamin Netanyahu. Wow. So reports indicate pressure on Kyr Stormer due to the Peter Manlinson. the Epstein scandal. New files revealed
Starting point is 00:05:30 mail since ties to Epstein prompting his resignation from labor. Stomer regrets appointing him as U.S. ambassador and accused him of lying this has fueled infighting and low polls, but no official resignation announcement. Yes, yet. This is from Reuters, from the Guardian, and from the BBC. Boy, this Epstein
Starting point is 00:05:54 from the grave is wreaking havoc all over the place, Phil. Yeah, well, all these people have, were real tight with Epstein, and now they're kind of, you know, running away from them. Starmer is another one of these people with no moral code. He's been right in Israel's pocket right from the beginning, and he's basically, well, as you know, my wife is English, So we follow the British news fairly closely.
Starting point is 00:06:30 And some of the stuff that's been going on morally, ethically, regarding immigrants who are brought in and basically are allowed to commit rape freely because the Starrmer and these other people don't want to get into it with this kind of issue. Wow. I don't want to get into the legal aspects of this. but who would defend the United States government in the $10 billion suit, and who would authorize a settlement of the case? Well, this is what the real issue is.
Starting point is 00:07:11 The issue is here you have the guy who's the boss, the president, and he's going to people that basically work for him. And he's made a suit, or he's filed a suit for $10 billion, and these people are going to, let's face it, they're going to obey what the boss wants or they're going to roll over for some specious reason that they've rationalized in their own minds for doing so. But Trump, all right, he might not get his $10 billion,
Starting point is 00:07:43 but he'll get a few billion, he'll get maybe a little more than that. And what's the stop of the pull in the same scam over and over and over again for the next three years? This is what we're stuck with. We're stuck with a guy who has no moral code, has no scruples about anything, and will kill people, will do anything he wants because he feels he's entitled to get away with that. Yeah, the basis of the lawsuit is that an IRS employee leaked his tax returns.
Starting point is 00:08:16 The tax returns that were leaked showed that in one year he paid $750, not $750,000. but $750 in income taxes. The guy who leaked them pleaded guilty to and is serving a five-year sentence in a federal prison, but of course he's now suing the IRS for hiring this guy. And in fact, they didn't hire him. He was a contractor. Correct, correct.
Starting point is 00:08:47 He's an outside. He's an outside. The NBC News apparently did a quick a hallway interview with President Trump about whether or not he's going to attack Iran. Colonel McGregor, before we knew that the negotiations were off was of the view that the negotiations would actually go on in order to give the U.S. more time to get more assets there, that we don't have enough assets there to do material damage to Iran. But here is that very quick.
Starting point is 00:09:25 It's a little tough to watch because their reporter, I give him credit. It gets right into Trump's face. I don't mean physically. I mean verbally. Anyway, here it is. Chris, cut number 14. Should the Supreme Leader in Iran be worried right now? I would say he should be very worried, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:43 He should be. As you know, they're negotiating with us. I know they are. But the protesters have said, you know, where are the Americans? You promised them we would have their back. Do we still have their back? We've had their back. And look, that country's a mess right now because of us.
Starting point is 00:09:56 We went in, we wiped out their nuclear. So I didn't take out, you know, we had peace in the Middle East. If I didn't take out their nuclear, think of it. If we didn't take out that nuclear, we wouldn't have peace in the Middle East because the Arab countries could have never done that. They were very, very afraid of a raid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He believes his own propaganda.
Starting point is 00:10:17 He really believes that he materially damaged their nuclear capability. Everybody that's looked at this has said that we didn't lay a glove on them. That's absolutely right. And the fact that shows how out of touch or out of, I mean, just no credibility of anything that comes out of this guy's mouth. And it's just a tragedy for everybody involved. His negotiators, I understand it, what you call it, his son-in-law are in Israel right now. So I think if the negotiations have been, have in fact, if that's the correct story that they've been canceled, they were supposed to start, I believe, on Friday. It's obviously the Israeli hand in this is again proving to be the dominant one.
Starting point is 00:11:09 What about when is Donald Trump going to start thinking about doing something good for the United States of America? Well, apparently there were fireworks, not literally, but emotionally in Parliament today, recently. A few minutes ago, Prime Minister Stommer had to physically grab his own hands to stop them from shaking. Do we have this, Chris? Watch this. Did the official security vetting he received mention Mandelson's ongoing relationship with, with the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Prime Minister?
Starting point is 00:11:51 Yes, it did. As a result, various questions were put to him. I want to make sure this House sees the full documentation, so it will see for itself the extent to which, the extent to which time and time again,
Starting point is 00:12:10 Mandelson completely misrepresented the extent of his relationship with Epstein, and lied throughout. the process, including in response to the due diligence. Mr. Speaker, I think it is shocking what the Prime Minister has just said. Who knows if he'll survive this, if he doesn't, he'll probably be replaced with somebody of like mind. It almost doesn't matter who runs these governments anymore. The British government is beholden to the Zionists and beholden to the U.S.
Starting point is 00:12:46 period, has been since 1947. Yeah, that's the tragedy here. We have really entered a new phase in terms of liberal democracies, as all of our countries have once styled themselves to be. We essentially now are becoming autocracies, or we have become autocracies. This has certainly taken place ever since the end of the Soviet Union. And all these countries have gone inward and basically lost the principles that at least some politicians and at least some people who considered how government should be run to benefit the people, you know, we've lost all that.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Well, there he is holding his hands. I missed that in the other, in the other tape. Wow. The Israelis in America are reporting speech that they feel is critical of Prime Minister Netanyahu's government to the FBI. And the FBI is taking those reports. Chris, do we have the head of the ADL? We have a whole apparatus. I have 40 analysts working full-time.
Starting point is 00:14:13 seven days a week, 24 hours a day, monitoring extremists. We monitor them online, social media, messaging apps, video games, cryptocurrency, podcasts, short form video, Wikipedia, LLMs. We monitor these people and we share the intelligence with the FBI. You saw last month, you heard about the thing that happened at Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Our analysts investigated what happened. They said they were Koreatown for Palestine. This group people.
Starting point is 00:14:44 They weren't. We were able to ascertain they were from a group called the Turtle Island Liberation Front. Turtle Island is how left-wing activists refer to the United States. On Monday, December the 15th,
Starting point is 00:15:01 this is going to ring a bell. Cash Patel announced they cracked a terror ring where they arrested four people who were playing New Year's Eve bombings, Turtle Island Liberation Front. So we're monitoring left-wing radicals like the DSA and the anti-war crazies and the pro-Palestine crazies. We're monitoring right-wing extremists like white supremacists, our militia groups.
Starting point is 00:15:25 We're monitoring political Islamists and Christian nationals, all of them. And then we train. We're the largest trainer of law enforcement in America, extremism hate. We train 20,000 officers every year. Oh, for Christ's sake. He is reporting, his people are reporting what he feels. deals as anti-Semitic language to the FBI, and the FBI takes those reports. The head of the TikTok, which has banned the use of the word Zionist, other than to say proud
Starting point is 00:15:56 Zionist, is reporting that to the rabbi in the West Wing, who's in charge of monitoring anti-Semitic statements for the federal government. I forget his name. So how deep into the executive branch do the Netanyahu tentacles reach? they reach all the way I mean there's not a decision made that they don't get the approval from
Starting point is 00:16:21 Israel I mean this is incredible here we have the who is investigating Greenblatt or who is investigating people like our congressman Randy Fine who freely talks about killing people and that sort of thing
Starting point is 00:16:36 these people are not terrorists and they are in a position They are in the rider's seat where they're able to dictate what the game is and what the terms are. And it's all in favor of Israel. It's all in favor of their own prejudices in terms of what they see around them. Anybody saying anything about Palestine, like my shirt, is obviously going to get named by Mr. Greenblatt. And Mr. Greenblatt is basically playing his own game.
Starting point is 00:17:11 and he's playing it for another country. Why don't we wake up or why doesn't people in Congress wake up to the fact that these people are doing things to benefit Israel with doing damage to the United States and to our essential liberties? Switching gears, it is apparent that the United States has rejected President Putin's offer to extend to extend the new start. And as a result, former president Medvedev said this. That's it.
Starting point is 00:17:52 For the first time since 1972, Russia, the former USSR and the U.S. have no treaty limiting strategic nuclear forces. One salt, two start, one start, two sort. And new start, that's the one that expires at midnight tonight, eastern. all in the past, and then on the bottom, winter is coming with a zombie trying to walk through a nuclear winter. So I guess that Trump has fallen again to defective reasoning or the importuning of the neocons around him to commence a new arms race.
Starting point is 00:18:37 So they have 1,500. We have 1,500. Colonel McGregor says that just a few of those would be enough to destroy the planet. Yeah. Well, this is the tragedy. This is, and you might make this same projection in terms of your turning, you know, there's peace standing in front of you, Mr. Trump, and you turn away from it. I mean, you could, you had an arrangement with Iran, whereby their nuclear policy. and their programs were being inspected, and you were the one that got rid of it back in 2016.
Starting point is 00:19:17 And now you're complaining about what you claimed to be nuclear-armed or developing nuclear-armed Iran, which is BS anyway. You're getting that information from Israel. And now you're doing the same thing with Russia. We had some very good agreements in place to make sure that there wouldn't be this nuclear war war that could wind up killing all of us. But instead, Donald Trump, he knows better. He's a
Starting point is 00:19:45 smarter guy. Somebody's telling, probably Miller speaking in his ear or someone like that. And, you know, these people are motivated by things that most Americans would find abhorrent. And it's time for us all to wake up and begin to say things about, hey, type. for a change here buddies all right lest we uh leave the viewers with the misimpression axios is now reporting plans for the united states and iran forgive me for my eyes down i'm reading this plans for the united states and iran nuclear talks on friday are back on after several middle eastern leaders urgently lobbied the trump administration on wednesday afternoon that's now not to follow through on threats away two officials told axios
Starting point is 00:20:39 The talks will be held in Oman, as Iran insisted, despite the U.S. initially rejecting changes to the original plan to meet in Istanbul, why it matters. The standoff had sparked fears across the Middle East of President Trump would pivot to military action. At least nine countries from the region reached out to the White House at the highest levels. I don't know if that means they called him or not, strongly urging the U.S. nine to cancel the meeting. Wow, what a merry-go-round this is, Phil. Well, that's wonderful that they did that, and they got the nerve to do it.
Starting point is 00:21:22 And maybe Trump was a little concerned because apparently all this money he's stealing from Venezuelan oil and other things that he's putting in offshore banks in the United Arab Emirates and Dubai and places like that. So maybe they've weighed in a little bit on that. Yeah, that's just a... When is he going to start to use that $400 million jet that the Qatari emir gave him? Yeah. Well, that's his jet, apparently. He's intended to take it with him in three years' time, unless, of course, he gets elected again.
Starting point is 00:22:02 You know, that's something that these scumbags that surround him are all working to accomplish. Yes. Your dear friend, I say that sarcastically, Professor Alan Dershowitz is about to publish a book as to how Trump can get around that Eisenhower era amendment. Phil, it's tough to take this stuff with a straight face. You can't make this up. It's a pleasure chatting with you, my dear friend. Please tell Salenti that I did call you to your face, the great Felipe Giroaldi. Thank you, my dear friend. Thank you for that. I look forward to talking to you next week if we make it. Yes, Angel, I love her.
Starting point is 00:22:46 All the best. Thank you. Bye-bye. Bye. Tomorrow, Pepe Escobar, either at 10 in the morning or 10.45, one of the other, but he'll be with us at one of those two times that we'll let you know in the morning.
