Starting point is 00:00:02 Undeclared wars are commonplace. Pragically, our government engages in preemptive war, otherwise known as aggression with no complaints from the American people. Sadly, we have become accustomed to living with the illegitimate use of force by government. To develop a truly free society, the issue of initiating force must be understood and rejected. What if sometimes to love your country you had to alter or abolish the government? Jefferson was right? What if that government is best which governs least? What if it is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong? What if it is better to perish fighting for
Starting point is 00:00:44 freedom than to live as a slave? What if freedom's greatest hour of danger is now? Hey everyone, Judge Andrew Napolitano here for judging freedom. Today is Tuesday, July 21st, 2006. Colonel Karen Koukowski will be with us in just a moment on how does the deep state use Trump? But first this. Today's headlines aren't just bleak. They're an indictment of a government that has abandoned the Constitution. You are witnessing the direct result of the Federal Reserve's relentless war on the value of your dollar. For centuries, gold and silver have been the ultimate shield against the state's favorite tools. Monetary expansion and runaway inflation. To protect your wealth is to protect your liberty. And you can do that with gold and silver. I own both
Starting point is 00:01:47 and continue to buy because J.P. Morgan is now lying gold at over $6,300 an ounce. And Bank of America is suggesting silver could reach $300. That's great news for precious metal investors. don't wait for Washington to fix a mess they created. Secure your freedom today. Take possession of your precious metals or diversify your IRA by adding gold and silver. Call 800, 5114620 to see if you qualify for up to $20,000 in bonus medals. That's 800,5114620 or go to Learjudgeonap.com. Colonel Koukowski, a pleasure, my dear friend.
Starting point is 00:02:31 several people in Italy mentioned you to me when strangers who came up to me telling me they watched the show and they went through their favorites and you were on many lists. Oh, my goodness. I thought you'd know that, but welcome here then. None of them asked if you were Italian, but they did mention you. Why would Trump spend, now if you can answer this, you were a world-class shrink. Why would Trump spend 25 minutes on national television relitigating the 2020 election instead of explaining what the hell he's doing now in 2026? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:11 And that's a really good question. And, you know, the weird thing about it was when he was leading up, in the days leading up to his 20, his 35, 30 minute talk, he was all excited. He was trying to pump it up. Like, hey, it's going to be really great. What you're going to hear is going to be really great. And of course, you know, we need some good news. There's no doubt about that. And the Iran situation is out of control or Ukraine is out of control.
Starting point is 00:03:36 I mean, there's all kinds of things he could have talked about domestic issues. And he chose the one thing that I think, honestly, at this point, means so little to most Americans. And I think it does mean a lot to Trump because he really does. And again, this is how he kind of works for the deep state. Trump is interested in nationalizing. the voting process, which to me, I don't know if Trump thinks of it this way, because I don't think he really knows what's in the Constitution, but to me it is a problem of, it's a ninth and a 10th amendment insult to do that. You know, the states are responsible for the process of voting.
Starting point is 00:04:20 And if you think about how the territories and states added on once we had the 13, you know, and we kept growing and growing. These states didn't do things the same way. And some states that wanted to be, some territories that wanted to be states like Wyoming, for example, Utah as well, they gave women the vote long before the women's suffrage movement gained followers and gained support. They gave women the vote because it served the interest of the states. And the other thing is, and Trump is right about this, and many people who complain about
Starting point is 00:04:54 our strange voting system, you know, the lengthy mail-in ballots, the long voting periods, you know, all this. It is true that many states have screwed up system of getting votes. California comes to mind. But that's for Californians to solve. That is between the state and the people that live there, honestly. And they need to step up. They need to secede from that union, divide that California into three or four, you know, states. There's things they can do and they should do and they need to be pressured to do it. Instead of saying that if we nationalize the vote and totally standardize it, and by standardized, I mean, you know, the surveillance state, the technology,
Starting point is 00:05:37 the databases that we have. That's what I mean by standardized. It's not just a standardized process. It is all of us getting names and numbers in a federal role, which may may not be accurate. And, you know, it's hard enough to get your state to clean the voting rolls. You think we're going to get D.C. to do anything? I mean, we can't get them to listen to the slightest thing that we ask him to do. So anyway.
Starting point is 00:06:01 But Trump talked about this for really almost 25 minutes. I think he casually mentioned a few other things. And why he did it, yes, because he's serving the deep state, of course, and they want to have complete control over the vote so that we never have to have an issue of electing the wrong person ever again. But also, this is important to. Trump because right now when he looks back at his legacy, it's looking pretty rotten in so many ways. You know, he's lied to, he's broke MAGA. He built MAGA and then he crushed it. And he didn't have to do that, but he did it. He has entered into wars. He has lengthened wars. You know,
Starting point is 00:06:40 he's done all the things he said he wasn't going to do. Of course, he's run up the budget outrageously, borrowed money outrageously, will soon be well over $40 trillion in current debt. he is advocating something he never advocated when he ran, which is to give the Pentagon $1.5 trillion, maybe more, probably more, which of course is borrowed. And so we're going to have to pay higher interest on all that borrowed money, too. So he's with the Pentagon and the big government oppressing the citizen in this country. That's the side he's on. Well, that's his legacy. That's his real legacy, unfortunately. And I think it bothers him a little bit. I think he wants to have something he can hang his hat on. And he's not big enough person or well-informed enough or whatever it is
Starting point is 00:07:24 to actually fix the problems he solved. Iran would be the first one. The Pentagon would probably be a close second. He doesn't want to address those things. He doesn't want to fix that. So he's going to say, well, I'm going to improve the voting system. Well, by improving means violate the Constitution even more than it's currently being violated by the feds. Anyway, it's not a good look. I think he's desperate for something that makes him feel better. You know, Trump knows he's unpopular. He looks, he does, even though he denies it, he does look at the polls. And he realizes, you know, he's not the popular president that he had been, you know, years ago, certainly not a popular candidate. And it doesn't make him happy. You know, he's, I don't think it's complicated. The problem is,
Starting point is 00:08:09 why is this guy our president? You know, I mean, seriously, we deserve better. We voted for better. and we're not getting it. But he serves a deep state. Wow. Why on earth would he knowingly drive up prices of oil and fertilizer and other commodities that affect almost all of us, almost every day? Yeah. You know, I think there's a couple reasons.
Starting point is 00:08:36 The big one is that I think people that hold dollars to the banks, the U.S. banks, that fed other countries, a shrinking number of them that depend very much on dollars, realize it's a depreciated currency. It's a drastically depreciated currency. You know, it's backed by nothing, except the goodwill towards the United States and global trust in the United States,
Starting point is 00:08:58 which, of course, we know has been pissed away, so we don't have that anymore. The one thing it hangs on, well, there's two things it could hang on, maybe three. Let's say the third one, productivity of the American people, the capacity of the United States and its citizenry,
Starting point is 00:09:14 and the people that work here, whether the citizens or not, to really produce value that the world requires. That would be one thing. That's what made us great at one time and strengthened and made our currency a popular currency. We don't really have that anymore. That was Make America Great again. Trump promised it. Then he threw it away. So we don't have that. That's not here. We have an aging society. We have a poorly educated society. We have, I think the, what is it, the adult utilization rate, labor utilization rate is like in the, the low 60s or high 50s, you know, people that could work, but they don't, not seeking jobs, you know, all that crazy. So we're not the powerhouse economic engine we used to be. That would be one thing that would help the dollar. The other thing would be, can we back it with gold?
Starting point is 00:09:58 You know, other countries around the world have resources. They have productive capacity, and they also invest in gold and silver to some extent. And they hold that as a hedge to retain the value of their currency. Well, you know, Bessent was on TV the other day. He said, like, yeah, yeah, I haven't been to Fort Knox, but it's all there, guys. Don't worry about it. It's all there. It's all there. Yeah, right. Okay. Why would you even bring that up if you're going to be such a downer? I mean, it's ludicrous. No odd. It's worse than the Pentagon. So we don't have the goal. Let's just assume that we don't have the goal. Be nice if we did. Be great. Somebody show it to me, and then I'll change my tune. And then the other thing, of course, is the Petra dollar, which is something I think Trump has always liked.
Starting point is 00:10:44 from the days in the late 80s when he wanted to take Carg Island and seize all the oil. So he's still hung up on that. And it's hard to say if the petrodoll, you know, there are people that will debate that. But I think the petrodollary is one thing that we kind of hold. And if you look at what Trump has done, what the deep state has done, the Western empires have done, is we now are the new OPEC. I mean, I think six, maybe seven, depending on how you count them, of the top 10 oil exporting countries are under the sum of the United States. Now, I include Canada there because I think he pushes Canada on it. And we are in Canada's biggest trading partner.
Starting point is 00:11:22 So anyway, we are now OPEC. Now, when you think about the old OPEC when I was young, you know, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, these guys intended to prop up the price of oil. Makes sense, right? They're a cartel, kind of a union. We get together. We withhold the oil until the prices get up to where we need to be. And oil has to be, and using the inflated dollar, oil probably needs to be at 200 or more to really justify what Trump and his allies and the Western empires need to spend to get all of our energy capacity up to park. Take Venezuela, right? Tons of money. I forget which company it was. One of the oil execs said it's going to cost way too much to get Venezuela. oil going and he got, you know, poofed by by Trump. But he was speaking the truth. It's very expensive.
Starting point is 00:12:17 And so the price of oil dictates and the price of gas, just like the price of gas, dictated how much fracking we could build out in the country. So we have a problem. Trump has a problem. The deep state has a problem. The dollar is not, people don't have confidence in the dollar. And oil is way too cheap to really help the dollar. It needs to be higher. If it's higher, the dollar looks better. I think that's what it is. And I don't know for sure if that's what it is, but maybe Trump just likes to kill people.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I don't know. All president seem to do that. Trump seems to enjoy it. He talks about frequently. You know, getting revenge, obliterating civilizations. You know, he enjoys that. But I really think the deep state's trying to save the dollar.
Starting point is 00:13:00 It is an impossible task. Well, does he control the deep state or does the deep state control him? He's just, he's part of it. He's not smart enough. to, or independent enough not to be controlled by them. And I say them, you know, it's the powers that be, some of its money and some of it's the connection. And, you know, Epstein was a big concern, right, for the MAGA, certainly. And I think, I think the Democrats were a little concerned about Epstein too. I think this was kind of, the whole Epstein thing kind of unified a lot
Starting point is 00:13:34 of Americans and people around the world. And the reason he didn't go after him is because The Epstein crowd is the money crowd, and it's the blackmail crowd, and it's the insider trading crowd. It's all of the things that we call power, power over resources in this country. And it needs to change. I mean, obviously, it will change. If it takes a revolution, at some point it will collapse. There will be a revolution. Something will change it.
Starting point is 00:14:00 But right now it hasn't really changed. It's still sitting kind of on top of the pig pile. And Trump's just there with them. And I'll tell you, I saw Trump. Joe Kent, and he said this before, but he had a recent interview with somebody, and he spoke again about Trump and how he's being managed. And he suggested, and it's not the first time he said this, but he really thinks that Trump is being, his family members are being kind of held hostage because of the ease with which other countries, organizations, mafioso, whatever, can conduct assassinations. Even our own CIA, very good at assassinating people and making it look like, oh, it was an accident or it was a patsy. Well, I guess the CIA doesn't call them back.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Well, they do call them patsies. The CIA calls them patsies, too. But they don't like people that get assassinated or the people that do the assassinations. The people that they get to do the assassinations are still. Like Lee Harvey Oswald. Sure, exactly. So I don't think they like the people of the country. using the word Patsy.
Starting point is 00:15:11 But I know I'm 99% sure among the insiders in government, not just our government, other governments, refer to those same people as Patsy. So those are the, you know, there's other names for them too. But, you know, the people that are used
Starting point is 00:15:26 to put something over on the population, but there's always a purpose. In your view, is Trump just a clownish frontman for the deep state? You know, I think he, He is now. I think he is now. I do not think that when he first, you know, I don't think that the deep state ever wanted Trump, and I don't think they groomed him from, you know, years and years and years. I think if they had, he would be dead already. You know, if you think about
Starting point is 00:15:53 JFK Jr., right? JFK Jr. had a political potential. Think about Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk had real political potential. And both of those guys both have very different, J. F.K. Jr. and Charlie Kirk had very different approaches and political stances, I'm sure. But both were kind of the kind of people that could make it to the top and not be subdued or shaped by the deep state. But they're killed. So you whack those guys. You get rid of them because you can't. deal with him. Trump, they never expected to have the success that he had. They didn't groom him. And he came up in a world where this was a possibility. And Trump is no doubt a man that can envision great and outlandish possibilities. You know, his Gaza Riviera is another example of that.
Starting point is 00:16:49 He is capable of envisioning those things. And then he's got the energy and the will to do these things. So they did not plan on him, but they got him just the same. They've got him under his under their thumb. I believe that. And I'm with Jo Kent on how they've done it. You know, Trump isn't particularly a, well, first off, he's 80 years old, so I'm not going to pick on him about that. But he's not a particularly uncompromised person, right? He's he is someone who trades on things and he is not a perfect guy. You know, he's not a perfect person that has somehow appeared at the right time. He's an ambitious guy. They didn't expect it. They didn't see him coming. And once he got there, then they put their energy into control him. That's just my opinion. Now, and I don't think he's well informed in which I
Starting point is 00:17:40 also think is another way they control him. He doesn't read. He has a short attention span. Yes. He doesn't like to listen to briefings. He just sort of likes to make a gut reaction on the basis of whatever nice looking person has just spoken to him last. Right. Speaking of which, what's with Hegg Seth's blood screening of the military? Have you spoken any of your former colleagues about this nonsense? I don't, I'm not familiar with what he's done now. Oh, he's doing, he's running testosterone tests. Oh, the blood screening. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Wow. So I don't, yeah, I don't know what to say about that because, well, you know what else? say they put anthrax vaccines on a bunch of people 35 years ago untested and didn't have very good
Starting point is 00:18:37 records. Some people got six. Some people got 12. Some people got three. The government doing business the way the government does business, not very well. And that was untested. And then we've seen the government with what they did with COVID vaccinations untested. So the idea that testosterone is a solution to 30, 35-year-old military men as a broad brush solution based on headsets, either personal experience or what his friends told him, is very typical of a government solution. You know, this idea that there's any accountability, you know, you're all, if you work for the government and it's coming to the point, if you are a citizen of the United States, you are a lab rat. and I guess that's really all I can say about it.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I would imagine he won't mandate testosterone shots for all the men. Well, it might be an equal rights thing. Maybe he's got to give everybody a testosterone shot. I don't know. I think it's, again, you know, we have, from Trump on down, a great inability of most of the government leaders to think strategically, to think in a measured way, you know, to make a plant. You know, I'm thinking more about this as I watch how Iran has done its business,
Starting point is 00:20:01 how they have defended their country. They talk in terms, they're always connected back to the principles of the thing for them. We may not share those same principles. Defending their country, obviously, we would share that. Americans totally get that. We understand that we would do exactly the same thing. But they have principles of. how they're governed and how they think and their belief system. And the things that their government
Starting point is 00:20:24 does ties back to those principles. In this country, we have the Constitution. But I don't know any person in government. I can't think of anybody in government. Maybe Thomas Massey, you know, Rand Paul possibly, you know, but hardly anybody in our government justifies their solutions, their reactions, their strategies based on, you know, treasuring and honoring the Constitution. And they have all taken the same oath to a boat. Here's for a little laughter, but also your insight, some clips from Hexeth making his gender affirming announcement. Today, I'm authorizing a new screening program for testosterone deficiency,
Starting point is 00:21:12 for our service members, ensuring you have the right testosterone levels to operate at your absolute best. Because it's well-established science that as we age, testosterone levels often naturally drop. Warfighters, age 30 and older, are going to be tested annually as part of their periodic health assessment. It's a health assessment that happens every year. We're just adding this test. If treatment is recommended, it's entirely your choice. to receive testosterone replacement therapy. What? I'm sorry? Right up Trump's alley or not?
Starting point is 00:21:56 Oh yeah, for sure, for sure. I'm surprised. I almost expected Hedgeseth to hold up a little jar. Like, this is the one I use. And you know, you can buy a, get a free bottle or something. It's crazy. You know, I'll tell you what's crazy though is we have, we have several wars going on. We have a proxy war with Russia. We have a direct war on behalf. on behalf of Israel with Iran.
Starting point is 00:22:20 And you can include Yemen and Hezbollah with that Hamas. We've got a three-year genocide we've been paying for that is going to go send everybody who's involved in that to hell. And the ICC, if he doesn't get rid of it, the ICC will have something to say about all that. And so these are big problems. We have a debt, $40 trillion in debt. We have a military that can't perform.
Starting point is 00:22:42 That's, I mean, I understand maybe to the extent, you know, heads that's saying our military is not doing well. Let's give it some testosterone. That's not the problem. The problem with our military is it's been designed to fail and no wars are designed to be one. They're designed to be continued. That's a deep state interest. That's how people make money. That's what they like. And what's happening is that that has run its course now. Our arms sales aren't going to save us. We don't have friends anymore. We can force to buy our expensive military hardware. the rest of the world is out competed us. They've copied our good ideas and then expanded on them and made things far better than what we can produce far faster and far cheaper.
Starting point is 00:23:26 That's the reality. So our military is in a tough spot. It needs to, the thinkers in the military need to be recognizing that they have a deficiency. It's not testosterone. Okay. It's called a strategy on how are you going to defend the United States? The empire is lost. But let's say even if you can have a devil's advocate.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Oh, no, we can maintain our empire. Okay, how? Tell me how you're going to do that? How are you going to use the military to do that? We also can't, we can't negotiate our way of a paper bag. We have no diplomatic talent in this country. We have no understanding of the rest of the world in this country. Wait a minute, wait a minute, Karen.
Starting point is 00:24:06 We have Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner. Yeah, yeah. And every once in a while, J.D. Vance to negotiate the memorandum of understanding. which was never intended by the United States. No, yeah. It's insane. And also, if we send Wikoff or his clone or his son and Kushner, or one of Kushner's coworkers,
Starting point is 00:24:32 as our negotiating team, a third or fourth or fifth time to deal with the Iranians, that's just a waste of time. Why would the Iranians even come to the negotiating table while Trump is trying to kill them? Yeah. They probably won't, but I'll tell you what the Iranians will do and what they are doing very effectively. They are becoming and working on becoming the actual role model on how you deal with the United States for the countries in the Middle East and other countries around the world who are worried that our empire is going to bump into their sovereignty. So they're modeling, Iran is modeling the right behavior. And the right behavior is, obviously, nobody wants war.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Obviously, there should be a diplomatic solution to this. And there was one. The MOU was a diplomatic solution. It was also the kind of thing you get when you lose a war. We lost that war. And that's why it looked like all 14 points were really not to our benefit. Well, that's what happens when you lose a war. And the people in Washington that have a responsibility
Starting point is 00:25:41 and understand where our country plays and what our country's future might be, they have to know that. And if they don't know that, and if they're talking about, oh, our problem is we don't have enough testosterone in the military, then we have a big problem. And really, increasingly, my attitude is, you know, just, let's just, I'm with the deflock people. Let's just cut the cameras down and have a revolution.
Starting point is 00:26:06 If the people in Washington, I mean, heck, you have, some of them are dead. You think Mitch McConnell is alive to represent the people of Kentucky? You know, we can't even get a hold of our, the living ones won't listen to you. And the dead ones, they won't even tell you they're dead so you can get a real life replacement. So, Karen, you're on a roll. Thank you. Thank you very much, my dear friend. If we haven't done it already, we will post this.
Starting point is 00:26:33 How does Trump's lack of credibility impact the deep state by Colonel Karen Koukowski dated yesterday? All the best, my dear friend. Thanks. Thank you. Sure. Okay. Bye-bye. Tomorrow Wednesday at 8 in the morning, Gilbert Doctoro, at 2 in the afternoon, the golden boy, Max Blumenthal, at 3 in the afternoon, Phil Giraldi, and if Chris can find him, Pepe Escobar.
Starting point is 00:27:00 John Lepaultano for judging freedom.
