Undeclared wars are commonplace.
Fragically, our government engages in preemptive war,
otherwise known as aggression with no complaints from the American people.
Sadly, we have become accustomed to living with the illegitimate use of force by government.
To develop a truly free society, the issue of initiating force must be understood and rejected.
What if sometimes to love your country you had to alter or abolish the government?
Jefferson was right what if that government is best which governs least what if it is
dangerous to be right when the government is wrong what if it is better to perish
fighting for freedom than to live as a slave what if freedom's greatest hour of
danger is now everyone judge Andrew Napolitano here for judging freedom today is
Tuesday October 13 2006 Colonel Karen Kutkowski will be with
be with us here in just a moment on President Trump's oil price delusions. But first, this.
Today's headlines aren't just bleak. They're an indictment of a government that has abandoned
the Constitution. You are witnessing the direct result of the Federal Reserve's relentless
war on the value of your dollar. For centuries, gold and silver have been the ultimate
shield against the state's favorite tools. Monetary expansion and runaway.
inflation. To protect your wealth is to protect your liberty, and you can do that with gold and silver.
I own both and continue to buy, because J.P. Morgan is now lying gold at over $6,300 an ounce,
and Bank of America is suggesting silver could reach $300. That's great news for precious metal
investors. Don't wait for Washington to fix a mess they created. Secure your freedom today. Take possession
of your precious metals or diversify your IRA by adding gold and silver.

Colonel Karen Krakowski, welcome here, my dear friend.
As always a pleasure.
You have a great piece at Judge Knapp and at Lou Rockwell.
Relax.
Trump says oil will, quote, drop like a rock. We'll get to it in just a moment. But just about an hour ago, we learned that Kimberly Guilfoyle, the United States ambassador to Greece, has resigned. The White House asked her to resign because of reports that before she was the ambassador, she asked the business associate to pay a $100,000 American Express bill for her.
Now, she's gone.
Mike Huckabee is still the U.S. ambassador to Israel.
He signed doctored reports going to the State Department, which falsely claimed that there was
peace in the West Bank.
And his chief aide who did the doctoring, David Milstein, the stepson of Mark Levine, is still
in office as well.
Where's the justice here?
Where's the U.S. first here?
Yeah, well, it's Israel first always. First, last and always is Israel. So, you know, it's unlikely that Trump is going to take action against Huckabee or even Milstein. I mean, it would be nice if he did. I doubt he'll say a thing before the elections because he doesn't want Mark Levin yelling at him about firing his stepson. So, but, but yeah, Gilfoyle is not a, you know, she's sacri-you-you-can sacrifice her. She's not well-liked. It was a payback job anyway that she was appointed the ambassador to Greece.
And, you know, corruption is a big thing in this run-up to the election.
I noticed even locally here, the Republican and the Democratic House candidates are both talking about corruption.
They know that people are kind of fed up with the bad economy, and they don't like the idea of people getting rich off of their misfortune, taking advantage of things.
So, yeah, it's a smart move to get rid of Guilful very quickly.
No, they're not going to touch Huckobey or Mills.
Well, she was engaged to Trump's son to Donald Jr. for four years.
Obviously, engaged and broke off.
He has since married somebody else.
Here is Kimberly Guilfow. Chris, I think we still have this.
It's a very short clip, maybe 30 seconds, but it's one, and it's easy to see why.
Donald Trump loved this.
President Trump is the leader who will rebuild the promise of America and ensure that
every citizen can realize their American dream.
Ladies and gentlemen, leaders and fighters for freedom and liberty and the American dream,
the best is yet to come.
Obviously, she didn't have today in mind when she said that.
Look, I've known her for 20 years.
Have you really?
Well, I've worked with her for 10 years at Fox.
And interestingly covered a criminal trial that she prosecuted with her.
another prosecutor that she eventually married, and he became the governor of California,
Gavin Newsom. The murder weapon in that murder trial was a vicious dog. And the defendant had
set his dog upon a neighbor in apartment building. He was convicted. The conviction was upheld,
and it was overturned by the California Supreme Court. They tried it a second time,
second time he was convicted again, and this time it was upheld. But that's how I met her. I was
at court TV. It was my first TV job after I left to the bench.
And I had to interview these two young prosecutors, neither of whom I'd ever heard of.
And they were Gavin Newsom and Kimberly Guilford.
So that's how they met then. That's how they got together.
Because I think that's always kind of weird that, you know, she definitely appears to be
part of this superficial elite that runs our country.
You know, it's not really about the parties. It's about this group of people that all know
know each other and do favors for each other.
And I don't know, it's very strange.
Yeah.
Were you surprised when President Trump called for Vladimir Zelensky to leave office?
I mean, Scott Ritter says that Vladimir Zelensky is the best thing ever happened to Russia
because he's so incompetent.
Yeah.
You know, I think the more Zelensky looks like a loser.
And I've said this before.
I mean, Trump does not like to be seen in the company of losers.
He doesn't like losers, whatever that is to him.
And, you know, he's never had a really warm relationship with Zelensky.
But clearly that war is getting old and Ukraine is losing it badly.
And even at this point now, I think the investment opportunities for BlackRock and other friends of Trump and, you know, even Kushner, you know, potentially affinity partners may be looking at how can we make money in Ukraine?
It's like, no, actually, not a lot of money is going to be made in Ukraine after this.
I mean, it's just going to be a little rump state with a lot, a lot of problems.
You know, population problems, demographic problems, infrastructure problems.
They still haven't resolved their political problems.
They haven't had an election in quite some time.
So when they do, it's just unclear what chaos will result from all this.
So it's not even profitable to be associated with Ukraine from the Western perspective.
And that, look, it was always about, you know,
you know, ruining Russia or impacting, stretching, degrading Russia, but also making money always.
And it didn't degrade Russia. Russia's armies bigger and badder than it ever was.
And not a lot of money is being made.
It looks like a lot of is being stolen.
But the potential for, you know, future loans by all these various global organizations into Ukraine,
it's not likely that all that's going to be realized.
And so, yeah, it's just a big waste.
And Zelensky is just not looking like a winner.
And Trump doesn't like that.
You know, he likes to be associated with winners.
It's October, which means it's cybersecurity awareness month.
And cybersecurity isn't just for big tech companies,
with over three and a half billion laws to scams in the U.S. last year,
protecting yourself matters too.
As someone with an active online presence,
my privacy is really important to me.
That's why our sponsor, Delete Me is celebrating this month
by giving you a few quick tips to help you up your security game.
Tip number one, when you get an unexpected email that looks legitimate,
check the sender's domain before clicking links or opening attachments.
Scammers will often use fake domains that trick you into clicking a malicious link.
Tip number two, getting lots of spam calls, don't answer them.
Answering can provide a signal that your number is active,
which then gets your number on even more lists, making the problem worse.
tip number three, search the internet regularly to see what personal information is publicly available.

Trump claimed yesterday and again today that he did negotiate on the phone with Vladimir Putin,
a ceasefire, a limited ceasefire, whereby Russia and Ukraine would not.
attack energy centers, storage facilities, gas stations, refineries, etc., of each other.
Now, neither side acknowledges this, and both sides have been attacking each other willy-nilly,
but Trump is adamant.
Watch this.
Trump is basically saying there's a ceasefire because I said there's a ceasefire.
You said Russia and Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire, but both sides say they have not agreed to that.
Well, they agreed. You know why? Because I said you agree. That's why. They agreed because I said they agreed.
And that thing has to get settled. That war is a disaster.
Yeah. I mean, that's really ridiculous.
Neither side says they agreed, but the President of the United States says they agreed because I said they agreed.
Look, when I interviewed Sergei Lavrov, I think I've told this story.
and he said that we believed that there was a handshake deal to end the war in Ukraine in Anchorage, Alaska.
And President Putin said in English to President Trump, in Foreign Minister Lavrov's presence,
well, what about Zelensky?
President Trump said Zelensky will do whatever I tell him to do.
Apparently not.
Yeah.
No.
No, I mean, look, Zelensky has his own friends and allies.
You know, he's leaning, he's got the British where he needs them.
And he's definitely getting tons of support from the German MERS for at least as long as
MERS is there.
So, you know, Zelensky's a creature, right?
And he's going to go where the resources are.
And, you know, he's going to play this as long as he can until he can get safely out of there,
which we'll see what happens.
I mean, yeah, Trump is not in control of a great many things.
He thinks that he is, and I feel bad for him because he wants to be in control of so many things, but he's really not.
Chris, let's run the Secretary of Defense with Jack Posobiac.
Now, I'm going to talk to you, Colonel, about the live streaming of an execution,
but I want you to watch this skittish, nervous, condescending,
arrogant explanation of it by the secretary of defense. This news that came down regarding
firing squad, can you tell us about how that came about and what led to that decision process?
No brainer. Execution by firing squad. Army major betrays his country. Radical Islamist
kills a bunch of Americans at Fort Hood. Of course we're going to do it at Fort Hood.
We're going to do it on a Thursday. We're going to do it at one o'clock, which is when he did it.
And it's going to be soldiers with rifles executing the firing squad.
It hadn't been since World War II since we've done that.
Well, I kind of like the mentality we had in World War II, which was win,
which was understand when the enemy attacks you, you need to stand your ground.
And so he's going to get a firing squad of soldiers, as it should be.
And we'll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it's public,
because people need to understand that this is, there's serious consequences for these types of things.
Has Major Hassan made any final request, reached out to the president,
anything like that to your knowledge?
Don't care.
What do you think, Karen, about Pete's demeanor?
Tell more importantly about the essence of this glorifying an execution by streaming it live
so that anybody, including children, can watch it.
Yeah.
Well, it's really hypocritical because, you know, a Trump and even part of MAGA has had a lot to do with condemning the culture of our country.
You know, a Hollywood culture, a culture that doesn't have American values.
You know, the MAGA is also a American, the stereotypical American values type of a campaign.
And so to now do that, and that's inconsistent, I think, a little hypocritical.
But Pete talking about that we need to see, even if it wasn't televised, that he needs to execute this guy who's been in wheelchair for since the day it happened, I guess.
It's been, hasn't it been like nine or ten years?
I forget when this happened.
Yes.
It's been quite a while.
And to me, that indicates that we have a really rotten and slow justice system in some ways.
Because it doesn't it actually indicate a speedy response to, because I know what, I think what Head Seth is doing is he saying we're at war.
And at war, we don't tolerate, you know, anti-patriots or traitors or whatever.
And so we want to, you know, we want to be like this tight organization that,
It's always about war all the time.
Well, we're not at real war.
Congress hasn't declared war since World War II,
so maybe he should go back and check that.
Maybe if that's the memory of World War II he wants,
why don't we use our Constitution?
But he's really kind of mixing and matching.
So what's his real goal here?
His real goal, I think, is to appear to be a tough guy,
which is what Hedgeseth has been wanting to do,
and it's difficult because he knows how most of the military feel about him,
and they don't like him, and they don't respect him.
And this is really hard for a headset.
And I think he thinks this will make him a tough guy.
And I don't know why they haven't advised him that by televising the firing squad execution of a guy in a wheelchair,
because really, honestly, it was a long time ago.
I'm not saying that we don't remember it.
But what we are going to remember when we watch this is that the United States executed a Muslim officer
and turned him into an icon, turned him into a martyr, a global.
and we really just confirm what the enemies of the United States, because that's the language
Pete Hedges uses, our enemies. He's really confirming what our enemies are saying about us,
that we have lost our moral compass, that we're more about the show than we are the actual
content of our military. It's a big problem. Pete has a big problem with the Pentagon. Pentagon's
screwed up. Our military strategy is very inappropriate for where we are this day and age. It spends a
lot of money. We get nothing for it. There's a lot of problems that if Pete was a guy that was a
real problem solver, if he had the foundation and the personality to really solve Pentagon
problems, he might be able to do it. He does have a lot of energy. But he's not qualified,
doesn't have the skill set. So what he's got is this energy and he's got this. And he's got this
this nagging fear that nobody respects him.
He's afraid he's probably number one or two on the post-election chopping list from Trump.
So, you know, he's just flailing.
And my personal feeling, I don't think we should, you know,
I remember the horror that we used to, and we still do,
when there's a public execution in Saudi Arabia.
They have them and they've had them in other countries around the world.
Public executions.
And Americans recoil at that.
And we see that as a sign of a government and a society that doesn't measure up to what we like to think of our government and our society.
So now we're joining, now we're joining that crowd.
And again, you know, I guess HedSys thinks we're at war.
Well, we're not at war, Mr. HedSiff.
You know, you can say.
Here's the Secretary of Homeland Security, which really has nothing to do with this,
defending the execution and its live stream in a rather brutish way. Cut number 12.
Secretary Hags had said that he plans to live stream the upcoming execution by firing squad
of convicted murderer Nidal Hassan who killed 13 service members in 2009. Hassan's in a wheelchair.
Doesn't the administration risk live streaming this and making him a murder to his cause?
No one has to watch it if they don't choose to.
I follow President Trump.
He's a commander.
He's a commander and chief of the country.
He does a phenomenal job.
He leaves this country with a very, very, very direct forward straight hand,
and he's restoring America values.
But I don't see an elevated risk at this point.
Commander in chief of the country.
Yeah.
Last time I read the Constitution, he's the commander in chief of the military,
which according to Madison meant,
when a war has been declared, but he's not commander-in-chief of the country.
That's right.
This is crazy.
That's right.
And if he is the commander-in-chief of the country, he has a 30% approval rating right now.
And he's going to be a little bit concerned about that because, you know, I'll say this, you know, we can complain about the empire and American culture and our education system and a great many things about our country.
And we can find fault and say we should do better.
But let me tell you, American.
don't like being pushed around and they don't like being told to do things that are stupid.
And once we land on something, we think, you know, this is really dumb. We don't like that.
You're going to have a tough time making Americans obey. And I'm sorry, I know COVID came about very
sneakily and Americans were quite the, quite the obedient bunch of people. But we lived through
that. We've learned a little bit. And with the war being, with 70 or more percent of the people
opposing the Iran war, and only 30% approving of Trump's, maybe below 30 now, of Trump's job in office,
if he starts throwing his weight around here at this country, and again, I think of things like,
you know, instituting a draft. I would love to see that actually, I'm tongue in cheek,
because I don't think people will show up for it. But, you know, if he starts pushing people
around after he has told us to shut up and pay the high diesel because Iran can't have a nuclear weapon,
Americans don't care about that.
Trump's one of his best friends internationally, apparently, is Kim Jong-il in North Korea.
With his 202 nuclear weapons, you know, there's just so much inconsistency.
And I think Americans may not be paying attention to every single thing, but I think there's enough data points out there that we're not going to be pushed around by D.C.
As much as D.C. would like to do it.
And we're certainly, we certainly disagree with Mark Wayne Mollinger.
that this guy's doing a great job.
When I finished reading your piece, relax.
Trump says oil will drop like a rock.
You know what question can't try my mind?
Does he really want the price of oil to go down?
Or does he want his rich billionaire friends to keep making more money?
See, that's exactly what I hoped people would think when they saw that.
Because it bothers me.
Not an oil person, I certainly don't trade or invest in anything.
I don't have any investments or I don't understand how futures work. I don't understand any of that.
But it seems to me that with the Trump is very willing to drive oil high. He's very willing to throw chaos into the market.
He is doing everything he can both via his fake wars or undeclared wars and also his tariff wars, his economic wars.
He's trying to constrain supply of all kinds of energy and other things.
the other things that relate to energy, particularly things like fertilizer and that kind of thing.
So he wants that all to go really high.
And the way he's played the Iran War from the very beginning is like, you know,
he says one thing on Friday and then everybody makes money on Monday.
Well, not everybody, but the Trump people, the people who knew what was coming.
So it just seems to me he's not sincere about hoping that gas prices drop like a rock.
at all. And I also think that, you know, if you watch what the Trump administration, what
Besson is doing when they talk about gold and they talk about possibly repricing it and whatever,
and other things that they talk about, it is all connected to propping up the U.S. dollar, which is
burdened by a lack of productivity in this country, incessant war in this country, and also
the debt, you know, the burden of debt.
How are you going to get rid of that debt?
Trump says now he's going to inflate it away.
Well, you know, that is what governments do.
It's what empires do.
We know that.
But the fact that he's publicly floating that along with other, you know, the stable coins and just different little things.
And it's like, you know what, he doesn't want the time of reckoning for the American economy to happen, or at least for the elites that run this country.
They want to make sure they get rich off of it.
And I'll tell you, a lot of the...
this seems to aim, not even at the enemies that we supposedly have, whether it's Iran or China
or Russia. It's really about propping up the dollar, and I think they're flailing, much like Pete
Ed's at this flailing with his own reputation. And they don't really know what to do. And that
should be very concerning to the whole world. Now, I think non-Americans, non-American countries certainly
I hate to say bricks countries, but basically any country that's not American, even Japan,
they are looking ask at purchasing our debt, right?
They are saying, can we count on the United States?
We know Saudi Arabia.
Can Saudi Arabia, which has been a great proper upper of the dollar through the petra dollar,
can Saudi Arabia count on the United States to come to its aid, to help it, to help it recover,
to help it do better, to help it profit?
No, no.
Saudi Arabia is finding out of it.
You can't do that.
And I think if Saudi Arabia countries is different as Japan and Saudi Arabia are discovering this.
And certainly we know how Russia and China view what's happening in our country and how our empire is, it is collapsing.
It is in slow collapse.
And so people that know anything are very much trying to put some airspace between them and the U.S. dollar.
So this hurts.
I mean, this is the reckoning.
This is what happens to the empires.
People will be impoverished in this country.
You know, they're saying, make sure people buy like non-perishable food for the next year.
Well, you know, this is what happens when your government runs your economy and your liberty into the ground.
So it's coming.
And I think Trump doesn't understand necessarily the cycle of things, but he doesn't want to be the guide blamed for what's coming.
So I think that's part of what his oil policy is.
And it is to drive prices higher.
And it's to boast about how he can.
can basically be OPEC.
We are the United States with Canada under our thumb,
Venezuela, basically we've taken it.
That allows us to actually control energy globally.
It doesn't right now, of course.
But this idea in Trump's mind, I think,
is that he will save the empire by controlling the energy.
And of course, it's so stupid because, you know,
there's not, there's, it just,
not going to happen. And there's alternative energies which other countries are quite advanced at,
particularly China with its nuclear energy. And it's, I don't know, Trump's in a bad place. I don't
know. And he doesn't know what to do. So I think he thinks high oil prices are probably good.
Connick-Catsky, a pleasure, my dear friend. Thank you so much. Thanks for letting me go all across
the issues here. We didn't touch on Israel, but we will, well, a little bit, but we will next week.
All the best, Karen. Thank you. Same to you, Judge. Thank you very much.
Sure. Coming up tomorrow, Wednesday, at two in the afternoon, Colonel Douglas McGregor,
at three in the afternoon, the great Phil Giral. To keep an eye on Judge Knapp, because
we may have another one of our guests whose logistics we're still working on. Judge Napolitano
for judging freedom.
