Thank you. Thank you. Hi, everyone, Judge Andrew Napolitano here for Judging Freedom. Today is Wednesday, December 17th, 2000, and 25. Phil Giraldi joined us. Now, Phil, I want to talk to you about Netanyahu and killing, but before we get there to what is breaking news, Tucker Carlson told me just a few hours ago that he understands from a member of Congress who was briefed by the Trump administration that tonight at 9 o'clock when Trump, addresses the nation he will announce a war with venezuela watch this is trump going to start a war

in venezuela i don't know i don't know when this program airs the one that we're on right now we're we're live now and then it'll be posted uh immediately so right now my sense is i i don't know the answer. I've certainly been on the phone a lot about it. I have no power. I'm a podcaster, but I'm very interested. And so here's what I know so far, which is that members of Congress were briefed yesterday that a war is coming and it'll be announced in the address to the nation tonight at 9 o'clock by the president. Who knows, by the way, if that will actually happen. I don't know. And I never want to overstate what I know, which is pretty limited in general. But a member of Congress told me that this morning.

Why would we be waging war against Venezuela? Well, the short answer is that we would be waging war against the country that doesn't threaten us in any way or damage our interests in any way, and we're waging war on them for no reason. I'm sure you saw the statement that Trump issued, I guess it was on his story. truth network, basically justifying what I think we will indeed be hearing tonight, and it was something written by someone who is insane. It basically said that our oil has been stolen. Oh, Chris, we have this. Hang on, Phil. This is crazy. Chris, I think we have it, don't we? Yes.

this is what the president ruled Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest armada ever assembled in the history of South America it will only get bigger is this the one you're talking about Phil yeah exactly okay and the shock to them will be like

nothing they have ever seen before until such time as they return to the United States of America all the oil land and other assets that they previously stole from us and then it goes on and on and on. What is the hell is he talking about, return the land and oil that they stole from us? He doesn't know what he's talking about. This guy is insane. It's gone beyond the level of just kind of ignorance into the area where he is going to do grave damage to the United States and to the American people.

not that he hasn't done enough already, but this goes beyond anything that is conceivable, or that can be even given a rational explanation. I mean, you've gotten away from his drug nonsense, and now we have Venezuela has basically stolen all of our assets and is what kind of mind what kind of advice is he getting that leads him down this road and we will see tonight but man I am I am really worried about this beyond the worry that this guy has engendered up until now which is considerable the the message he made the other day was a total

blockade of Venezuela. That, of course, is an act of war. I don't think he's going to announce that tonight. I mean, only do we have the statement that Tucker Carlson made to me, but our friends and colleagues at anti-war.com say that they have another source on Capitol Hill who corroborated what Tucker Carlson told me. I'm going to assume that that is also a member of Congress who was privy to the briefing. He's going to invade. Venezuela, there are treaties, including the UN Charter, because Venezuela is a member of the United Nations, that prohibit this kind of military action without the permission of the UN. There are other treaties we've signed that prohibit the Congress from declaring war of the president's starting war, except in the case of imminent danger. As you said earlier, Venezuela poses no danger whatsoever to the national security.

really since the they seized the tanker, which didn't make any sense, which was another one of these fake arguments. I mean, Trump was talking as if this is our oil, on this tanker which is just of course a lie and again what kind of advice is this all right

let's let's accept for the fact that this guy is completely ignorant he's completely incapable of going from point a to point b in an argument or an explanation of what he's doing and why and so this is just another step in that direction but there are consequences to this one this one in terms of what the world community might do. And it's for sure that the bulk of Latin America will suddenly become an enemy. And they will be looking at various things they can do to make trouble for the United States. And I don't blame them. And this is absolutely astonishing. Astonishing doesn't even sum it up. This is a criminal act beyond anything that we have seen in our lifetimes.

Here's what he said about himself and his attitude toward war and peace. Chris has put together a clips from a couple of different comments the president has made. You know, we had no wars. Four years, we had no wars. We will help bring stability to the world. I was the first president in modern times

to start no new wars, you know? They said he will start a war. I'm not going to start a war. I'm going to stop wars. I don't know where he's going. I mean, look, it's possible that Tucker Carlson's correspondent and the whoever told nivore.com were misled by the White House briefers, who knows, but I guess we'll find out tonight. There is a substantial armada there, Phil. Larry Wilkerson says it's a billion dollars a day, a billion dollars a day to support the ships

and the 20,000 troops that are in Puerto Rico. What are they going to do? Man, if they stormed the beaches, this is suicide. Well, given the nonsense that's been coming out of the White House at a regular rate, I mean, these guys are going to land on shore and just start shooting starvillians, I guess. This is going to be our grand gesture to the rest of the world about what America has really all has become all alike. I would somewhat be mused, although that's maybe a bad word, by his performance at the Hanukkah celebration last night at the White House, where he had Amario Adelson there, and she was talking about putting up, $250 billion to get Trump elected again in 68, in 28, I'm sorry, and for another term. I mean, we'll have to spend her money trying to get the Constitution amended.

Yeah, incredible, incredible. Which would be fruitless, yeah. The chatters and social media, of course, are speculating that this war, war is to divert attention from something that's scheduled to happen on Friday. The release of the Epstein files. Yeah, well, there's plausibility to that. But do you start a war to what? I mean, the files are going to be released anyway.

Right, right. So what does he gain by that? Well, what did Bill Clinton gain after he was interrogated before the grand jury bombing an aspirin factory and killing a couple of janitors. Yeah, I mean, this is what presidents do. I mean, I am in full agreement with your entire analysis here. You know, in 2017, I don't know if it was his State of the Union address, but it was early on in his first term, he addressed a joint session of Congress, and he had this young

man who he claimed was the true president. He can't make this up. He claimed was the true president of Venezuela. The guy's now a grad student in Miami, according to Anya Parenthold, Max Blumenthal's wife. This fellow won Guido. And he introduced Guido at a joint session in Congress, and they gave him a sustained ovation. And he basically said, we're going to kick out Maduro and put Guido

back in. No mention of drugs at all. If he bases this thing on drugs, I don't think anybody will believe him because his own drug enforcement administration, you go to their web page, says Venezuela is not a source or even an intermediary for a cocaine or a fentanyl. Well, then you have to assume that he's going to go with his standby argument, which is what he wrote, that they've stolen our oil, they've stolen our property, they've stolen our land, and how are you going to make a case for any of that? He doesn't rely on making a case.

He relies on talking to an electorate out there that, like he said at one point, he could walk down on Fifth Avenue and kill somebody and get away with it. I guess that's what he's going to be doing on a much larger scale very soon. I'm going to transition to Israel, but before I do, did you know that Congress hates Israel? At least according to Donald Trump, it does. Phil, this is trumpet is maniacal, worst, or best, or wherever you want to look at it. He's at a Hanukkah breakfast at the, I think it's at the White House. You'll see. You can't make this up. Cut number five. You have a Congress in particular, which is becoming anti-Semitic. You have AOC plus three.

You have those people. Ilhan Omar. She hates Jewish people. And you have to be very careful because there's been a big change. My father would tell me the most powerful lobby that there is in this country is the Jewish lobby. It's the Israeli lobby. It's not that way in it. You have a lot of people in your way.

You have a lot of people that don't want to help Israel. You have a lot of people in Congress that don't like Israel. You have a lot of people in Congress that, in a way, I think Mike, we could say it, right? You're there. You're doing an amazing job, Michael Oliver. They hate Israel. It's less so in the Senate, but the Senate's starting also. Bad things are happening, and then you see what goes on in Australia.

Or October 7th. October 7th. How about October 7th? And then you have people that deny it ever happened. How about the people that deny, like they deny the Holocaust, but you know, you figure, well, that's just many years. Well, October 7th is not many years at all. We're not going to let that happen. Well, I'm president and the DOJ and harm me. We're not going to let it happen. But please, please be vigilant and careful because you have some bad people that are now in Congress that were unthinkable. unthinkable to be in Congress 12, 13, 14 years ago, 15 years ago. Must be speaking of a different Congress. Could he be talking about the Congress that gave Netanyahu 56 standing ovations in a 58-minute speech?

Yeah, well, the thing is that he is a, you know, he's a creature of the Israel lobby and of the state of Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu. And he's going to say what they want him to say. And the argument that they're trying to twist now is because people are waking up American, ordinary American citizens are waking up to the fact that Israel is in a sense our enemy in terms of what it has created in terms of policies that American presidents and Congress have felt they have to support. People are waking up to that. Now, suddenly, this is all anti-Semitism. This is hatred of Israel. This is, you know, this is a hatred of, you know, what the people in Israel are doing and so on and so forth.

And the fact that Israel, in fact, has been carrying out a genocide for well over a year and has killed maybe as many as three or 400,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children. This doesn't seem to affect Donald Trump at all. It was like when the before this alleged ceasefire was put into place. Whenever he would spoke about the issue and speak about the issue in the Middle East, he would talk about the, oh, the Israeli hostages. Well, there were 20 of them. And he had tremendous empathy for those 20 hostages. But 20,000 dead Palestinians were nothing to him.

This man is a monster. This is a guy who will do whatever Israel wants him to do, and it will not be good for us. Chris found a clip of someone whose monstrosity may actually exceed the presidents. Now, this might turn your stomach. That's why I asked about your health before we started the show. This person will kiss the president and refer to him as our first. Jewish president, Chris. And he loves Israel too.

Six years ago I was up here and I said this is our first Jewish president. Now he's the first Jewish president to serve two not consecutive presidency. We thank you for everything. Well, that's going to happen. That's your tax dollars and mine celebrating Hanukkah last night at the White House. Yeah. Well, it's just, you know, it's where it has all gone,

and it's gone by virtue of our system being corrupted by money and by the dominance in the media. and this is where we're at, where Israel is more loved and protected by our government than the American people and our own system of government is being protected by our own government. According to Congressman Massey, there's only a handful of members of the House, both parties, that are not beholden to APAC and that do not actually have an APACMinder on their staffs. Obviously, Massey is one of them,

but he's one of just a handful. I don't know what a handful means. Ten, a dozen. This is 435 members of the House of Representatives. And also consider what just happened in Israel with Mike Huckabee, with this 1,000 of conservative preachers who were flown over there

by either the Israel lobby or by the Israel government itself paying for the ticket. And they were fed a whole lot of nonsense about poor Israel and then anti-Semitism and the usual stuff. And we had Huckabee, our ambassador. No, he's Israel's ambassador to Israel who's there and preaching to him about how all this stuff is true. And it's all these bad people in the United States. People like us who are trying to bring some truth and accountability to what our country is doing and what it's become, we're the bad guys. I thought that Trump's Board of Peace, of which he is the chair, and Tony Blair as the Governor General of Gaza, which I gather is not going to happen, would ensure peace.

I mean, just the other day, the Israelis boasted about murdering a Hamas leader. What the hell is the Trump team going to do about that? Nothing. Well, actually, there was a story that came out saying that the White House did send a message to Netanyahu saying, this was not a good move because this will damage the credibility of the ceasefire and any eventual peace treatment. Well, that's, of course, all true. But the fact is Netanyahu has been killing multiples of people ever since the ceasefire was agreed to. And Trump never opened his mouth once to complain about that.

All he can complain about is Palestinians. And Palestinians are being slaughtered also in the West Bank. And I wrote an article that came out last week about a Christian village. is being destroyed. And Trump had a lot of concern about Christians in Nairobi. But apparently he has no concern for Christians being killed or dispossessed in what used to be Palestine. One more clip for you, Phil, just to raise your blood pressure, because I love you.

Number four, Chris. I want to wish you all a happy Hanukkah. And, you know, this is the first time that I've ever brought up notes to make a speech for... I've brought this up. You know why? I've done so much for Israel that I have to read. Look at it. I got like pages. I think I called the wrong one. I thought, where's the one where he says that Trump is the first Jewish president? Yeah. Yeah. I always... You get the picture about what the nonsense that was... was going on at the White House. Whether he brings notes or not, much of this is

incoherent and intended just to please the immediate audience. Exactly. And his immediate audience has a woman there who offered him $250 million so he would run for president yet again after this destructive four years is finished. Right, right. All right, Phil.
