Hi everyone, Judge Andrew Napolitano here for Judging Freedom. Today is Tuesday, November 29th, 2022.
It's about 10 after 3 in the afternoon here on the east coast of the United States.
I just did a solo hit for you on the latest on
Twitter, but there is more news on Twitter, and that is that Elon Musk has announced that he will
reveal the internal Twitter emails and whatever other documents or records he now has as the
owner of Twitter, showing the efforts by management and by people beholden to working for management to
suppress the free speech of ideas on the basis of their content. Now, Twitter has denied that it did
this. A lot of people are of the belief that Twitter did this at the behest of the government,
that officials in the government
asked them to suppress speech that the government hates and fears. So we don't know if this was done
at the behest of the government or if it was just a political decision by the management of Twitter
to suppress the speech of conservative Republicans or Donald Trump or Trump supporters during the 2020 campaign?
We don't know, but we should find out.
I've been cheering Musk on.
You all know that.
I've also been campaigning to become his, a little bit tongue-in-cheek,
to become his chief content officer because as a person who believes
that the First Amendment means what it says, as a person who believes that the First Amendment means what it says,
as a person who believes that you can think as you wish and say what you think and publish what
you say, I wouldn't suppress anybody's speech. Musk claims he's not going to suppress anyone's
speech, but I do want him to bring back Alex Jones's Twitter account. Nevertheless, Musk now says whatever evidence
there is of suppression, he's going to reveal. Hear, hear. Let's see what that evidence is so
people can decide for themselves if the folks that used to run and operate Twitter
were telling the truth. Judge Napolitano for judging freedom.
