When you're on the road, when you're on the go, Juicy Scoop is the show to know. She talks Hollywood tales, her real life Mr. Sangman, serial data, and serial sister. You'll be addicted and addicted fast to the number one tabloid
Starting point is 00:02:04 real life podcast. Listen in, listen up. Woo woo. Hannah McDonald. Yeah. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. You guys, you got a great show ahead of you.
Starting point is 00:02:19 I had the most incredible week in Palm Beach, Florida, doing four shows there. We had so much fun. I brought my son Brandon, who is my tour manager for the week because he was on spring break. I met so many incredible people in Palm Beach. It was just a utopia, the most fun ever. And I mean, you guys have got to go over to my Patreon because on Friday, I'm going to tell you everything that really happened on the week. It was so juicy. I hung out, I had a two hour lunch with Ramona Singer and it was amazing.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I hung out with Jill Zarin, which you're gonna hear a little bit of that because later in the show, I went to Jill's house and I interviewed Jill and the stew, Barbara, who also came to my show about what really happened on Below Deck because it has made quite the splash, no pun intended. And people are like, oh my God, Jill said it was supposed to be
Starting point is 00:03:10 the most difficult passenger ever. We're going to get all into that later in the show. There was Housewives everywhere that came to see my show. It was just so fun. And I'm going to save all that for Friday. Get that, patreonheathermcdahl.net. Okay, but the biggest news happened when I was at Jill's house getting ready to call a lift to take me to the airport just yesterday. And I hear this voice that sounds very familiar.
Starting point is 00:03:41 It's mine. I'm like, what is that? And Jill's like, Oh my God, Heather, Ali just sent this to me. Britney Spears just posted you. And I'm like, what? So it is me doing an impression of Drew Barrymore interviewing Britney. So now so many people were writing me at friends, relatives, juicy scoopers, what is the scoop here? She posted it, Britney posted it on her 42 million followers on Instagram. And it is, people didn't know if she reposted me. At first she tagged me, I guess originally, no, she didn't tag me.
Starting point is 00:04:19 At first she had her comments on and people were writing and tagging me saying, oh my god that's Heather McDonald. Then she took her comments off which most of her posts are always comments off and she wrote this was so funny, this is a Drew Barrymore impressionist on my birthday. So now Juicy Scoopers let me tell you how the story came about. It was December, which is, I think her birthday is December 2nd. I can't remember if that was her exact birthday, but she was out celebrating.
Starting point is 00:04:53 And I was at, was invited to a private dining club experience in Hollywood. And I was there with two other people and I went to the bathroom and I was like, I've been going out a lot at the holidays. I probably should have gone out tonight. I'm really quite tired. I drove there. I'm like, Jesus, show me a sign that it was worth it for me to even have left my house today. And just then I walked out of the bathroom, and in the corner of my eye, in my peripheral vision, I see this blonde hair, girl, sunglasses.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I'm like, what? And it is Britney Spears. I am like, how? Christmas miracle, what is happening? So I go and I sit down. I make my friend move so I can watch. And she's with one other person, this guy, I don't know if he was her boyfriend, her bodyguard, her friend, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:50 And they're just having dinner and laughing and whatever. And it's a private dining club. And you know, she, people are not even taking, no one's taking a photo of her because you don't do that at these places. It's like Hollywood exclusive. So no one's taking a photo. If she or anybody else is choosing to smoke, nobody cares. The rules don't count. It's pretty happening. So I'm like, oh my God. So then I see that she's with her manager,
Starting point is 00:06:18 who I've met before, Kate Hudson, and he calls me over and I act real cool. I'm like, oh hi, I read your book. And she's like, and she's got her little Ray-Ban sunglasses on, she had brown boots on, sensible brown boots and a white outfit. And she was in a great mood and she was happy. And she's like, and then I left cause I didn't wanna be that person
Starting point is 00:06:40 like I was many years ago when I sat down with Jerry Seinfeld, unwanted. It's a classic Heather story. So anyway, I leave, and he texts me, and he's like, come back. She wants to talk to you more. I'm like, goodbye to my friends. Go right over there.
Starting point is 00:06:53 And he says, Heather is an incredible comedian. She does all these impressions. Do Drew Barrymore. And I just, and right when she goes, oh my god, and right when I start, she just whips out her phone. Again, you're not supposed to be filming at these places, but it's Britney Spears and nobody cares. And her lights on and she starts filming me.
Starting point is 00:07:11 And I just go for it. I don't think it was my best performance as Drew, but you know, she's my favorite to do. So I start going, oh my God, Britney, I am such an incredible fan. You are so special. It's like hit me one more time with this incredible book keyboard.
Starting point is 00:07:28 I don't even know what I was saying, but she's laughing and filming it. And I'm like, it was back in December, I'm like, what am I gonna wake up to tomorrow? And we went on, we had some other fun conversation. Also that night, Kanye and his wife Bianca were in the corner of the room. But I did not go over there. And at that time, she was, I think, wearing more than just nylon. So it was, it had not reached the peak that it's not yet.
Starting point is 00:07:55 It was, it was an epic night. But I was trying to be cool LA lady. So, you know, that's why I didn't come and tell the juice then. But now that she's decided that I'm this drew very more impressions, I don't know what happened because I just for the first time told that story on stage in Palm Beach. And I was like, there's no way someone in Palm Beach like let her know I really think the universe just worked out. And I think she was just scrolling through her phone, thought it was funny and posted it. And I'm so flattered.
Starting point is 00:08:23 And she was really sweet and fun and then they were going to go to an after party some they're like do you want to go to a dancing after party oh the other thing I forgot to tell you is after she filmed me doing drew um she did I think she says do you do me and I go oh yes I do And I took off my jacket and she screamed with glee, like so excited. And then I just did what I know how to do. And I just did her dancing in her foyer and her spinning and her dancing
Starting point is 00:08:55 and her showing off her outfits. And she's like, film me it. She goes, oh, you're doing my Instagram. And I go, oh yeah, you know, I can't, I don't sing as well as you. So I just am gonna do your dancing doing my Instagram. And I go, oh yeah, you know, I can't, I don't sing as well as you. So I just am gonna do your dancing on your Instagram. But she had a good attitude about it. She was fun.
Starting point is 00:09:11 And then they invited me to go to the after party, the dancing after party. And as much as the old Heather would have loved to have gone, the new Heather, which was only about two days old, decided, you know what, girl, you got everything you want. This was amazing. Maybe God will bless you and she'll post this. And even though it took many months, she did post it. I hope to hang out with her more. It was great to see that she was out and having fun and, you know, people weren't bothering her or anything.
Starting point is 00:09:42 So hopefully she'll go out. Hopefully we can go hang out in Calabasas. We can go on a hike, girl. We can go to Joey's. We can go to the Cheesecake Factory with Kanye and Bianca at the Westfield Mall in Topanga. Whatever you want, girl. 818 till I die, call me. Okay, now, speaking of new hot child stars
Starting point is 00:10:04 that have taken a turn, Jojo Siwa. I mean, my gosh, she was one of the originals of the Abby Lee Dance Moms show, where Abby Lee would like verbally abuse these little perfect dancers, and she was one of them. After that, she went on to be always have the bows in her hair. And it was kind of I remember seeing like, isn't she a little old to be still wearing these bows? But she, you know, was huge on YouTube. She had songs, she had clothes, she had all these things. Little girls loved her. Then around 19, she came out as a lesbian. And now this is her new emergence of her new song, Karma. So she comes out at the I Heart Music Awards
Starting point is 00:10:49 and she is dressed like this with this kind of, she basically took a few characters from the rock group Kiss and made her own fifth character. Okay. And she's walking out and she's got black, the stars around her eyes. And she has a really raspy voice and things are going viral about it and so she's being interviewed and This guy's like I must have asked her about her podcast didn't know but of course she has a podcast too
Starting point is 00:11:16 She was oh, yeah, like who would be my ideal guest on my podcast. Oh, okay. Uh, Let's kill a little crazy. What are my accents? An idiot? I don't know why it's making me laugh so hard. Also, she drives around a Tesla that is the Jojo Siwa Tesla with his, her face, not like this, like from when she had the bows, around it and apparently people spot it all over LA.
Starting point is 00:11:46 It's all over TikTok. And she's like cutting people off and stuff. I don't know, I'm obsessed. I think it's so funny. There's also the dance that she does this song, which is, let me just, let me get in my head. Karma's a bitch. And she's doing this like really hard dancing.
Starting point is 00:12:05 And it's kind of crazy, it's really aggressive, it's really angry, but she is a really great dancer. And she, you know, it's a different kind of dancing too, but she really knows her dancing. She's been dancing since she was little. And being that she is kind of a more masculine fronting lesbian now and her raspy little voice that are dancing in this. I love it all. I think it was genius marketing.
Starting point is 00:12:32 The song is in my head. And, but some people are being critical saying that in her interview, she's like, nobody's done this before. I mean, nobody's made this kind of transition from what I was before to this gay pop kind of music I'm doing. And the video is made this kind of transition from what I was before to this gay pop kind of music I'm doing. And the video is like her kind of aggressively
Starting point is 00:12:49 like making out and humping these different women. And I guess it's kind of a tale of how she cheated on two girlfriends or they cheated on her. I don't know. But what a viral moment. I don't know where she got this idea from Kiss. I don't know if she just discovered Kiss or how she decided this was going to be her look. But if she would have just shown up with like
Starting point is 00:13:10 nipples out or her ass out and it was like, oh, look at JoJo Siwa. Like that would never have gotten the attention that this unexpected, somewhat cringy, some would say experience has gotten her. So listen JoJo, I too have a podcast and I would love to have you on. I'd love to know about your whole life, your childhood. You know, I know that she was nice to Abby Lee when she was either sick or in prison. She read somewhere she was like the one little dance girl that visited her.
Starting point is 00:13:43 I would just love to hear all about it. And the song is catchy. It's in my head. I can't get enough of it. And I'm gonna try to do the dance soon. But a lot of people are having a lot of fun with this. This guy, he calls himself Corey Siwa. He was doing impressions and he made the outfit
Starting point is 00:14:02 and the hair and it's been really funny. I do also want to say that once again, Doja, I'm sorry but I beat you to it because when my sister Shannon and I were very little, Kiss was a huge deal and my brother was a huge fan and for Halloween he made Shannon and I two of the characters from Kiss and Shannon as we, is trying to find the photo from that Halloween. But he put foil on our boots, he cut us out a guitar, he did all the makeup, he was really good at art.
Starting point is 00:14:36 And so I can't wait to get those photos. But good for you, JoJo. Oh, some of these commas are so funny. They're like, Jojo dances like her vibrator is stuck in her pants. But then also some people say she's kind of reverting back to the whole look. Because when she doesn't have the black stars around her eyes,
Starting point is 00:14:57 she's got the sparkly beads in her hair. She's wearing the ponytails again. So she's kind of going back to that 12-year-old girl that she was when she was like 20, but you're still going like 12. I don't know. I'm fascinated. I like what she's doing. Come on. Now, JLo, I've talked about the last couple episodes where she's kind of had a lot of backlash, a lot of people calling her out for her bodega, her bodega ordering that it's not authentic and they don't believe that she was really going
Starting point is 00:15:28 to the bodegas and living in the Bronx. So she went out the other night, girls night, just like every other girl, took a photo of herself going out and went out to dinner. And I looked at it and she looks really pretty at this dinner with this woman. And she's like, oh, you know, girls night. And then somebody, I noticed right at the top,
Starting point is 00:15:46 somebody wrote this. And it said, well, I work at the restaurant where I had dinner today. She was very regal. I had the honor of presenting her salad. I'm like, that is so weird. Why would a waiter write that? And right under it, somebody wrote,
Starting point is 00:16:01 oh my God, her team has actual bots in her comments now. So then I clicked on the person who supposedly presented the salad and it had 10 posts, like no followers, a very fake looking blonde woman. And I'm like, Oh my god, I think because there's all these tick tocks that have been saying that, Oh, she doesn't want to look people in the eye and whatever these stories are with servers or people that have worked for her or her friends, that maybe now, maybe she didn't do it. Maybe super fans are doing it, trying to change the narrative that, hey, I worked at this restaurant and when I gave her her salad, she was great. But just the way this is written, presented her salad, sounds like it might be a bot in
Starting point is 00:16:44 which something was translated. I don't know, a lot of what I've discovered in the past six months makes me think that not saying that it's JLo who ordered it that this happened but I thought that was a very interesting thing being that we've talked about in the last couple weeks and how a team or fans might try to infiltrate to change it to be a positive thing versus all the ones that are negative. Lizzo following up. Lizzo now has said, you know, a lot of people are like, I think she listens to Juicy Scoop because I said, you know, maybe you just need to quit listening to all the haters. And that's what she said. She goes, I'm quitting my attitude
Starting point is 00:17:21 of listening to haters. I'm going gonna go back to singing and doing music. And she says this while she's wearing like a green one piece suit. She looks really good. But now she says she's gonna go back to her original name, Melissa. And she wrote this like blog kind of about her life and her childhood.
Starting point is 00:17:39 And I think that's the right thing. But I think she needs to just go away. I think she needs to take care of whatever the disgruntled employee dancers have going on. Settle that, whatever that is. Work on new music. Do her thing. Come back. But sure, come back as Melissa. I mean, P. Diddy's changed his name five times. That seemed to have worked out for him. Morgan Wallen. Not to be confused with my other favorite country singer, Morgan White. I'm gonna make you love me. Morgan Wallen, last night we let the liquor talk.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Okay, so excited for stagecoach. Hope this doesn't screw up his appearance there. But I guess he may have let the liquor talk, the liquor whatever, and he threw a chair off of a country bar, honky tonk bar, the other night in Nashville. Now he's been in trouble in the past. They had him saying a racial slur and what she apologized for. He had something else happen right around, an SNL appearance. He's not, you know, but he's still, everyone loves his songs, but this one, He's not, you know, but he still, everyone loves his songs. But this one, nobody was hurt so there was, I think he was arrested, he was out on bail. It's going to be a little
Starting point is 00:18:50 something. Just please still come to Stagecoach because I would, I really do like your music, but just don't throw any chairs and don't let the liquor talk. Okay, you guys, sad news in the gypsy rose blanchard world. This D is on fire! Well, as we know, she is getting divorced. This did not work with the D that was on fire. And her husband, who seemed to really enjoy the limelight, has come forward and said that you're going to see it all of what made us break up. Because there
Starting point is 00:21:32 is another documentary, I guess they filmed them doing all their press, part of something, and we're going to see what broke them up. She since has been out and seen with her boyfriend, so I guess there was a boyfriend either before the one that killed her mom or maybe there was maybe there was another one that she met in prison before this one that she married. Anyway she's out with an old flame, they got matching tattoos and then she also announced she's getting plastic surgery and she showed her first photo after her nose job, which we knew this was going to happen. Listen, podcasting is on its way. She's going to have a podcast. And when she gets tired of that and realizes
Starting point is 00:22:17 how hard it is, she's going to do OnlyFans. I'm sorry. And whatever that is, that's going to happen. And I hate to always predict the people's futures, but I do. And I don't know how interested people are. I feel like this got so much hype a couple of weeks ago, and I don't know how much people really care why she broke up with the Diaz on Fire, former teacher, guy that she met in prison.
Starting point is 00:22:41 I don't know, who cares? Well, I guess I do, because I just talked about it. Okay, now, Aoki Lee Simmons, daughter of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons. She is, I think she's only 21, but she was out seen dating and love kissing in St. Barts with this 65 year old restaurant group founder his name is Vittorio Asif and they're just having a great time and you know they are in their swim shorts and she's in her bikini and they're kissing and in love and so people were kind of freaked out because it is like a 40-year age difference but hey you know but
Starting point is 00:23:32 pretty juicy pretty juicy okay also Miley Cyrus's ex-husband Liam Hemsworth posted some great after workout gym selfie and apparently Noah Cyrus who is her younger sister who is either about to get married or engaged but also Noah dated their mother's now husband before he dated the mother, they dated, okay? So somehow the internet discovered that Noah liked Liam's self selfie after workout, just liked it. And I mean, but the way they write it, like Enos writes, it looks like Noah Cyrus adores Liam's Hemsworth recent gym selfie, Adores? So now is like now turning
Starting point is 00:24:27 to adores or was just Enews like looking up different words to use besides like, I don't know. But could it be that she never stopped following him? Could it be that she had an assistant who liked it? Could it be that this was a moment to try to get a little bit of press? Or was it just like a, oh, I'm not even thinking about it, but he was a moment to try to get a little bit of press? Or was it just like a, oh, I'm not even thinking about it, but he was my brother-in-law at one time and good for him for working out? I don't know. But I think the story really is how people make such a big deal out of possibly liking something and it wasn't even like a conscious like type of situation. Okay. In sad divorce news,, Sasha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher, they've
Starting point is 00:25:08 been married for quite a while. They have three kids. We never really heard about their marriage. They didn't do like lots of talk shows where they're, you know, they weren't basically, they weren't Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. Okay. They weren't one of those people that made their PR moments about their marriage, even though she's a very good comedic actress. Of course, he's a great comedic actor, very funny. But they did announce they've been living separately for about a year. They wanted the kids to know about it, accept it, see how it goes.
Starting point is 00:25:39 So they are getting divorced. And apparently it was fights over parenting and different schedules and things. That's what people are reporting. That's why they broke up. But of course they wanna be great parents for their kids. When it first came out, people thought, does this have anything to do with the fact that Rebel Wilson, who has her book out,
Starting point is 00:26:00 I think it's gonna be out tomorrow or maybe it's out this week, but all these articles have come out in which she said it was Sacha Berry Cohen that asked her to do these awful things. He wanted her to stick her finger in his butt in a scene that wasn't in the script. And she said he acted like an a-hole according to her. He denied it. Anyway, it was just kind of interesting timing that the announcement of their divorce came out shortly after that makes me wonder, did Isla be like, yeah, we're done. We don't need to milk this out any longer. I want to get on with my life. I don't like the press that my ex is
Starting point is 00:26:41 getting. And I'd like to start here, separating myself officially from him, let people know this has been going on for a while and like have a clean break because she is a really great actress. But when I think about it, I don't remember, I remember she was so funny in the wedding crashers. That's what I feel we were introduced to her. And I don't know that I've seen her in that much since then.
Starting point is 00:27:02 I mean, she's raising a family and everything. So maybe this is like, okay, I'm ready to like start it. I'm ready to start working again. And I don't want to be tied to someone that treated women poorly, even if it's only Rebel's account. So there we go with that. Speaking also of divorce, the horrible selling sunset,
Starting point is 00:27:23 Christine Quinn situation going on with her husband where she alleges that he threw a bag of glass at her and it hit their child. He now has filed for divorce. There's back and forth trying to get restraining orders against each other. I think she did get one and he tried to get one against her. That was denied, but he is now in fact filed for divorce. And if we want to get her and Chelsea back
Starting point is 00:27:49 on selling Sunset, we want them in their tiny outfits, meaning billionaires going on jets and selling $18 million homes. So let's see that happen. Now, latest on Angelina and Brad Pitt, the never-ending, long, horrible divorce, is just getting worse because now she has come out and said that there was physical abuse on, you know, domestic abuse between him onto her, allegedly allegedly before the incident on the plane in which right after that incident plane where the stories were that he was drunk and he
Starting point is 00:28:33 was physical with I believe Maddox that there was something going on with her he has you know denied that it's just gotten uglier. And, you know, just makes you I think that the reason people aren't as up in arms about these allegations against Brad Pitt. One is there there they are allegations there's I don't know if there's a way to prove if any of it is is true. And if that's something that she wants to do or not. But it seems like he's had like a little resurgence, he's always looking great. I feel like he was recently on the red carpet and kind of getting back into it.
Starting point is 00:29:13 He said he's been sober. But, you know, once again, I feel like, even though she, I think she's an incredible mother and a great actress and she's been doing so much, I feel that people are still like, you know, Brad cheated on Jen Aniston when they were doing Mr. and Mrs. Smith and they were so insensitive once they fell in love and pursued their relationship. I remember there was this huge spread of them, just Brad and Angelina when they were just dating. I don't even know if the divorce was over yet with
Starting point is 00:29:51 Jen Aniston. And they did this kind of 1960 chic spread. And they had all these, before they had kids of their own, it was only, I think Angelina only had Maddox and Pax at the time. And yes, and they had all these cute little kids that looked like them all dressed like, you know, like they were in the 1960s, playing around in like a Palm Springs backyard. And then they went on to like have all these kids and be this like perfect family for the cameras. And then we find out that it wasn't
Starting point is 00:30:24 and they aren't together. And I still feel like people think of her as the vixen that stole the man from Jen and not, the anger wasn't for Brad then. And I feel like the anger isn't for Brad now. And I think that's just an interesting observation of how fans react and how women treat other women.
Starting point is 00:30:47 But as Jen would say, oh, God, I am sorry. I am sorry that this is happening. But God, karma is a bitch. Karma is a bitch. No, no, no. I mean, really, JoJo and Jennifer Aniston need to go and get her Tesla and go to Sunset Tower. It's one of Jen Aniston's favorite restaurants.
Starting point is 00:31:05 And then Brittany and I will join her. And so will Drew Barrymore as me. OK, what a fun day. Now, this isn't fun. This is another lawsuit, part of the Bravo reality reckoning situation. Vanderpump rules, Faye Stowers, she was the girl who
Starting point is 00:31:27 was on a lot of episodes apparently apparent to this lawsuit. Wasn't a regular, was never like in a poster, but on the show as one of the friends, also working at the restaurant. And the juicy storyline with her is it gets revealed that while Jackson and Brittany were not married, they were an in love couple,
Starting point is 00:31:49 it gets revealed that one night he went and apparently he and Faith had sex, not on camera, not while they were filming, but while she, her side gig, because apparently according to this lawsuit, she only made $5,000 total ever working on Vanderpump rules. So she was a, like a hospice care nurse or something or caregiver, elderly caregiver.
Starting point is 00:32:13 And while she was at some elderly caregiver person's house, Jax came over and they apparently had sex and it gets revealed on the show. And's when Brittany goes, Rotten Hail, Jax, Rotten Hail. But she forgave him, they got married, they are now, they had a child, they booked the valley, and now they too are separated, Brittany and Jax. And every interview I see with Brittany sounds like, I don't really know that they're going to make it. Sounds like she's liking her time separately and it sounds like he's not on his knees, begging for her to back and saying I'm a piece of poo, which is what he needs to do. So I don't know, maybe they are happy living this situation
Starting point is 00:32:53 right now. But she has gotten the same attorneys, Mark Garagos, as well as Leah from Real Housewives of New York. Leah, of course, is suing, saying they made her do all these, encouraged her to drink and everything on set and do humiliating things. She too says she didn't get paid very much during the Real Housewives of New York and that she made more on OnlyFans in two weeks
Starting point is 00:33:19 than she ever did on an entire season of Real Housewives of New York. So they're revealing, we know that they don't pay much until you've been a seasoned person on these shows for years. But in this lawsuit, she says things, storylines were manipulated, there were racial slurs her way, which I don't believe were ever captured on camera when this affair broke out. This is where Kristen and Stacey got in trouble for speaking about her on their podcast and took them off the shows for many years. So it's all getting bubbled up again. And it's just interesting that this lawsuit came this week because on The valley, they address all of this. They address how
Starting point is 00:34:06 Kristen got kicked off of Vanderpump rules based on things that she said and did during this time and during 2020 and that she's back. And then there's conversations with the new cast members where a new cast member where they were accusing her of being a Republican and therefore she was racist. So everyone's talking about that. And it's like the Valley. And then there's this couple that one that this couple, Melissa and her husband, they are meeting with a marriage counselor who's actually a life coach. He's not a marriage counselor, but he's a life coach.
Starting point is 00:34:39 But anyway, he gave pretty good advice. And their marriage we're seeing is in a lot of trouble. They sense have announced that they're either separated or getting divorced. So there is a lot of real juice that is coming out of the valley. And not just because I live here, but it's very good. That show has really surprised a lot of people and that comes right after Vanderpump. So watch it all. It's unfolding. Also, Brandi Glanville is not happy because a producer from executive producer Lisa Shannon has submitted her statement saying that her recollection between the Brandi Glanville and the Caroline Manzo incident in the Ultimate Girls Trip, which unfortunately we probably will never see that season. She says she recalls Caroline Manzo
Starting point is 00:35:31 saying she felt uncomfortable but not sexually violated. But Brandi's like, that doesn't do anything for me. I'm still distraught over these accusations. My life, you know, I've had medical issues and stress because of all of this. And so I'm not sure if that was a deposition or what's going on with that whole case. But of course, Caroline is also part of the reality reckoning ensuing NBC and Bravo and the production company
Starting point is 00:35:57 for what happened on that trip where she said she felt sexually violated by Brandi. So, oh my God, a lot there. Latest on P. Diddy, his son also has been now accused of sexual assault. His son is Christian, he's 26, and the case says it's filed by Grace O. Marquet. Grace worked as a steward on Diddy's yacht,
Starting point is 00:36:22 and she claims that Christian assaulted her during a trip in December of 2022. She said that he pressured her to consume alcohol, groped her, and attempted to force her to perform oral sex. And it led to her termination, actually. His actions led to her being terminated, caused her mental health, anxiety, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, and eating disorder, epileptic seizures. So the lawsuit also names Diddy as a defendant, accusing him of aiding and abetting his son in the alleged assault. So this is all part and this was, this is all, oh,, she claims that the complaint that was around this time, Christian boarded the yacht to record with music producer Rodney Little Rod Jones. That is who has also filed a lawsuit accusing Diddy of all this sexual assault.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Also, these three of the women that were listed in that lawsuit as his sex workers, they have all denied that they as his sex workers, they have all denied that they were his sex workers. So there's a lot of, you know, a lot going on with this case. Meanwhile, he was seen like enjoying himself on his vacation, P. Diddy, and his attorneys are like, this is a witch hunt. We didn't need this many people coming to raid the houses. What's going on with this? But we'll see. What did they find in his two residents? And then, of course, this lawsuit's
Starting point is 00:37:50 a whole separate thing with his son. Whew. OK. Also, $30 million was stolen. A lot of people think there's a connection there somehow. Like, how could this happen? Why did this not go to a bank? It went to this vault on Easter.
Starting point is 00:38:07 They definitely think it's possibly an inside job. How they put all this money in this vault. They went through the wall. It wasn't at a bank. There's a lot of strange things happening. But now for a very juicy thing. Like I said, a lot of people were interested in Jill Zarin's trip on Below Deck.
Starting point is 00:38:28 It was featured the last two episodes. You see her as a guest. She was not a primary, she was a guest. We're gonna hear all about it right now. And the cute girl, Barbara, who worked on the boat, she was there as well when I interviewed them both at Jill's house. They both came to my show. She tells what it's like, how she got on the show. Get ready for a really fun juicy interview straight from Jill Zarin's mouth. Who has a Diet Coke? I'm not happy.

Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
Starting point is 00:40:07 I have Jill Zarin here and Barbie who is on Below Deck. Welcome, Barbie. Surprise. I want to have you here a little from Barbie. Say hello. Hello. Nice to meet you. You came to my show last night.
Starting point is 00:40:17 You guys are friends. Yes. A lot of people couldn't believe I was still going to stay friends with you because they watched Below Deck and they said, oh my God, Jill Zarin was so demanding and everything on the Below Deck. But I watched it and I didn't think it was that bad. Thank you. But I understand some people were a little confused by it.
Starting point is 00:40:39 So first, I'm gonna make you say what you said before. We gotta tell technical difficulty. Tell me about how you got invited by your friend and you thought it would be a great idea. You weren't at all worried how you might come off. Because I know I've been offered. I'd have to pay as well. But I just imagined them screaming that I'm paying all this money.
Starting point is 00:41:00 I would want a buttery chardonnay. If it was a dry chardonnay, if it wasn't the Napa Valley I'd be a little bit bummed and I imagined them saying oh god who do this old wino wants her wine? Like I was always a mad. I knew exactly where it'd be also I didn't want to see the backside of me like going down a slide I have to say that was the best part of the whole show for me me in a pink bathing suit That was the best part of you look here. I never looked so good in a bathing suit I've always never let me say something. I have good in a bathing suit. I've always, I never, let me say something. I have never worn a bathing suit on Housewives
Starting point is 00:41:27 or any television show. I said I will never, I don't even take photos in bathing suits, but for some reason I had lost some weight. Thank you, Sam McClute type. And I was feeling good and I did wear a bathing suit. So that was the best part. That's really all I should care about. So you were saying the, the deal was you fly there,
Starting point is 00:41:44 you spend the night in a hotel, and then you guys get on and it's really only a few meals. Okay, so let me explain. First of all, it was in Grenada. And Grenada is actually very expensive to get there. There aren't that many flights. So for Miami, it was like $800 a ticket for coach, which was I think a lot. So we paid for our own flight, we paid for the hotel, and we contributed to the tip.
Starting point is 00:42:06 And the tip was not little. I'm actually gonna do a survey on my Instagram or whatever and ask people what they think a tip should be, a generous tip should be when you're on a yacht of that size and you pay, we paid $45,000 for literally five meals. And I'll tell you how it goes. And remember, you're enjoying it,
Starting point is 00:42:29 but you're also being filmed. So we're actually, even though I'm not paid, not only am I not paid, we're paying, we're contributing to making the show. And of course I went in with the attitude, I wanna make a good show. And I was me, I literally was me. I wasn't not me, I was me the way I am in my real life.
Starting point is 00:42:43 If I like my Diet Coke, I want another, if I don't like it, I'm gonna send it back. If I don't like my food, I send was me. I wasn't not me. I was me the way I am in my real life. If I like my diet coke, I want another, you know, if I don't like it, I'm gonna send it back. If I don't like my food, I send it back. Most people do. And this is definitely a service industry on a mega yacht. This is not a yacht. This was a mega yacht. This was 190 foot with, I don't know, how many crew?
Starting point is 00:42:58 15? I think we were 10, nine. 10, but it should be like 13 or 14. It should be. It should be. So you were down a few people. We were definitely down. We were down two, I think when you you got there or one. I don't know you were down one upstairs Dylan got there. We're down one size. You were down one inside, but really you're down
Starting point is 00:43:15 Only six total no there were eight eight of you guys so imagine there's only one So I mean I would rather you explain how it works with what who who does what, like when you have three people, I assume when you have three, let me go back to how much it costs. Okay. Yeah. So it's $45,000 for two nights. You get on the boat at 12 o'clock, right away you get lunch and you get an explanation, which I actually taped on my phone, I'm going to post, of Frazier explaining the layout of the next two days.
Starting point is 00:43:45 In fact, one of the things he emphasizes that, which is ironic, is that there'd be snacks and food all the time everywhere. He actually emphasized that and completely didn't deliver. And I have to tell you, when I think about the trip, it was the head stew's job to make sure things went seamlessly. And I kind of blamed him for the trip not being kind of a total disaster for my friends who I felt terrible for. They spent an enormous amount of money. They hadn't been on a ship like this before. I wanted them to have an amazing experience
Starting point is 00:44:15 because I've been on them and they are an amazing experience. You asked me why did I do the show? I did it because my friends wanted to go on television. I don't blame them. A lot of people do. And I didn't mind doing it with them because as long as I'm me, I'm good. And the problem was, no offense, is that the crew really reamed me.
Starting point is 00:44:37 And I think that if the crew had a different attitude towards me and said, oh, Jill, she's a little pushy, she's a Jewish mother, she's a little bit of a know-it-all. I think everybody would have leaned into it. OK, well, let me just tell you, as my friend. I know what I am. So I knew I was coming out to see you this week. As I'm getting ready, I think, to get on the plane, whatever, I'm doing my makeup. And I called you.
Starting point is 00:45:00 And I was like, Jill, don't defend yourself. Don't answer the hate. Lean into it. It's funny. It's TV. It is. No offense to how cute Barbie is, but I feel like Below Deck wasn't getting a lot of buzz until this episode.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Of course, I follow all the shows. And I wasn't getting the talk. And maybe because the crew is new, the captains knew that type of thing. But I always love it. The shows always do great. But I was like, just, it'll be okay. And it was so funny, and when you were on my show earlier,
Starting point is 00:45:33 we talked about the Diet Coke and how a Coke has to be cold already before you put it on the ice. So who got the instruction? Did you originally get the instruction of how to make a Diet Coke? I received the instruction with the ice and the Coke. Did you know that about Coke,
Starting point is 00:45:46 that it had to be cold to not go flat? I did it, and my father worked for Coca-Cola for 25 years. Did he agree with me? He did. He says that he agrees. So your father worked for Diet Coke for Coca-Cola for 25 years. Coca-Cola for 25 years, and he says it's supposed to be cold or it goes flat.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Thank you very much, your dad. Warm on ice makes it warm. Thank you so much. Right. And you know what? So I come from a place for people who don't know me, but if they see me on TV, I'm exactly the way I am. I come from a place of always from love and teaching. I'm always trying to help people.
Starting point is 00:46:13 I see myself as a 60-year-old Jewish mother who's had a lifetime of wisdom. My parents are alive, thank God, and they're still teaching me. And I want to pay it forward and I want to share it. So I see, so when I met Barb on the boat, she said, I'm a fang forward and I want to share it so I see so when I met Bob on the boat she was she said I'm a fangirl I love housewives so I had an immediate attraction to you so I felt very motherly towards you so when I was telling her things it wasn't to reprimand her at all and it may have come off that way and it wasn't even reprimanded I wanted to help her and
Starting point is 00:46:41 teach her that like don't't pour warm soda on ice because it goes flat. But the way they edited it, and I don't want to blame the edit, but all you saw was me talking if you had heard anyone else talking in my group. They're not mute. They're not deaf. They do speak. They all have a voice.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Gary has the biggest voice and the loudest and the funniest. He was completely cut out of the show. So have you talked to your friends since it aired? I have to say, Barbie coming to my defense, and not even to my defense, Barbie just saying what really happened or actually just feeling bad about what you said. Whatever your feelings really helped me because nobody would come to say anything to say- And how did that happen? You just DM'd her or you had each other's numbers? We had already been in contact with each other.
Starting point is 00:47:27 In fact, Barbie had done an interview for Entertainment Tonight and completely, well, what did you say? Do you remember? I said, I love Jill. You know, she was a little complicated, but I love her. And I love her rugs. I love you. I want one of her rugs.
Starting point is 00:47:38 And then I made up my story. I'm like, I wanted Jill's errands. She did. This was like a month ago. So I obviously got this surprise. This was before it aired. Right. This is before it aired. Oh, okay. It was before it aired.
Starting point is 00:47:46 I didn't even know. Okay, so like little things when, so you didn't know where the plug was for the hairdryer. I wouldn't have known that either. Now after that, in showing the next round of guests, did you point it out where the plug was hidden in the drawer? No. Well, don't you think you should have?
Starting point is 00:48:03 Probably. At least you're owning it, right? I never went to the drawer. It's not intuitive. I mean I wouldn't think it's in a drawer. I would have known to look inside of the drawer for a hairdryer. And then you went on to say what about, yeah you need a mirror, but you also say you know normally on these mega yachts you come in and the toiletries are stocked. And I had the pleasure of staying on a friend's yacht for a few days. And that was the case. I was like, Oh my God, I didn't even like have to bring anything if I didn't want to. Well, I didn't. I didn't bring stuff because I knew it would be on the boat like toothpaste.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Like I had to borrow from my friend because, you know, but they did end up bringing me something. Okay. So now had you, you had never heard that in your training or that wouldn't have been your job no matter what that Would have been the head person's job to stock right? So you do the provisions and all that. It's Fraser and then Zandi so Zandi is more in charge of the housekeeping So Zandi should have been in charge of making all these things and they are very common on megayachts This is what you do on a megayacht. This is like normal normal standard stuff
Starting point is 00:49:02 So they say they drop the ball there 100% So they dropped the ball there? 100% Zandy dropped the ball there. Okay. And so you're like, oh, you know, so then you tried to make do with like a little like goody bag. By the way, I didn't ask for it. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Did I ask for it? I don't think I asked. I think you just said, I just said normal ladies and that was the end of the conversation. And then she came back with this thing and I'm like, what did I say? I said something like you scrambled because I was like you scrambled like I didn't listen
Starting point is 00:49:30 that you know you hear me going down the steps right? I'm so empathetic. I'm going down the steps saying I am so exhausted. I don't know how these guys are going to keep working tonight. Like I was giving them so much props. The last thing I wanted to do was bother them with anything, but I needed to find the blow dryer. I wasn't going to be able to go to dinner.
Starting point is 00:49:48 So that was the truth. And only because you were in my room did I bring up the other stuff. I wouldn't have called her in to say, do you have this and that? It was just a friendly conversation. Some people were very disturbed by the fact that you said, you know what you should have, you know what you should have.
Starting point is 00:50:00 I'm just saying, I've been on Megan Yatts, a little bell, a little bell to let people know I'm gonna Talk about the bell right now. Okay, ding dong ding dong Um, and I'm gonna be like really realistic. Okay at the moment I said that which I said half jokingly but not jokingly Yeah was we had been sitting at the table for 45 minutes. This one you're waiting for the hamburger We waiting for the hamburger also. No, actually, I'm not sure if it was at the hamburger I want to say I'd be a little bummed
Starting point is 00:50:26 if the lunch was a hamburger, off the bat. It was so bumming. Okay. I messed up lunch, I own that. No, no, but it was a hamburger. That wasn't your fault. What did you offer? Why did he decide on hamburgers?
Starting point is 00:50:34 You didn't offer a hamburger, he offered a hamburger. I don't know why he decided a hamburger, but I messed up those burgers. No, no, no, but the offering of a burger was not the right meal for a Meggy mega yacht when you're on for five meals. I would think there'd be like sashimi, salads, like maybe it like me, you know, with all the different, you know, gluten and this and that, just a really good chicken breast situation. Well, she doesn't need chicken. What I would have done.
Starting point is 00:51:01 I understand it was very hard with everyone's instructions. And you were really the only one that didn't have any restrictions except for I Love Diet Coke. I said, just give me more food. I said, just give me more food. I was like 10 cokes a day. And by the way, I don't drink 10 cokes a day. It was because I tend to leave them around. That was the reason I said that.
Starting point is 00:51:17 And I just didn't want to run out. And, wait, what was I just saying? So we were talking about the doorbell. Okay. So the doorbell was we had been sitting at the table. We had been called to lunch. OK, so we all came like soldiers to sit at lunch. And we were literally, I don't remember the order of things,
Starting point is 00:51:32 but I think you asked us what we wanted. But then everyone disappeared. Now, when I say everyone, there's only three of them. The staff three. Zandi, OK, and also they don't work 24 hours a day at the same time. They can't. Somebody's got to be sleeping, right?
Starting point is 00:51:45 Right. So I don't know who was off. For all I know, Zandi might have been off for a period of time, so they may have only had two. But usually somebody's cleaning the staterooms or doing the laundry. That's like a job. That's like a full day job. And then there's another person doing the food and there's another person possibly with
Starting point is 00:52:00 another guest. Like there's a lot of things going on. You can't be in the same place at all times. And just like the crew communicates through our walkie talkies, we didn't have that pleasure of having communication. So we were like deer in headlights. It was our first meal. We just got on the boat. We're sitting at the table. For 45 minutes nobody came to say hello. Can I have a drink? Anything. Frazier just left us there. So when he came back, if you listen to that scene, right before he walks in the room, my friend Noah says, oh, it's been like 45 minutes,
Starting point is 00:52:33 something like that. He says, it's been a really long time since we've seen anybody. So I said, because I was trying to make their life easier, not harder, is that if they had a way to communicate, so the bell was funny when I go ding, ding, ding, because I'm making good television people. I'm trying to be funny. That's my sense of humor. Get it or don't get it. But my point was mega yachts have iPads. They have ways of communicating with guests. You can't expect when you have a 20,000
Starting point is 00:52:59 square foot boat, there's four decks, it's 190 feet long. Do the math. 15,000 square feet. And you have three people and one's probably taking a nap. So if I'm upstairs and what am I supposed to get up and go to the galley? Am I supposed to go get an apple? So I ask them, please have food or snacks out. All I want is an apple so I can get something to eat if I want on my own and not bother you. The thing is I don't want to bother them. So I was trying to get an experienced boater. I own my own and not bother you. The thing is I don't want to bother them. So I was trying
Starting point is 00:53:25 to get an experienced boater. I own my own boats. In fact, you know, I get these Epileps, which that I don't know if it's going to make it on the show, but the captain actually makes me an honorary captain on the boat. Am I right? He gives me four stripes, not three. And I'm going to wear them with pride because he actually respected my knowledge of the boating. And you see at the end of the, well, you haven't seen anything yet, but I know that at the end of the trip, I'm like literally commenting on his docking
Starting point is 00:53:56 about how the wind is and the difficulty. Most people wouldn't even know that. Who would guess on the boat. Did your friends, the primaries and stuff, did they, when it was either cut or not filmed, were they like, this is pretty annoying? Or did they just let you take the lead? First of all, the nicest people. Okay, so Melinda and Noah are the nicest people you've ever met. So like, if you really can't stand me, that's how much you're going to love
Starting point is 00:54:20 them because they're the complete opposite, right? Opposites attract. So they were completely mellow. And I, they knew that I was an experienced boater. They knew. And I do tend to take charge. Somebody's got to be, I don't want to say the boss, but someone's got to take the lead because they don't want to hear from eight different guests. It's harder. Okay. I have a question. If you're going on the, if you're going the yacht, let me direct it to you, Farbe. That's a good question. So like, I always think about what I would do and I would be a bit more specific, not just about like what I don't like. I would be like, for lunch, I would like to have sashimi, salads, this and that for lunch. For dinner, I would like an Italian and I want like two pastas and a fish or whatever.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Is it helpful when guests are like that? Or is it really up to the chef to like kind of come up with a menu based on their likes and dislikes? I feel like that's why we have the preference sheet. We have a preference sheet where we ask you, what do you want, what do you like, and what kind of stuff do you want? And people right there, like, I want this theme,
Starting point is 00:55:22 I want this food, I want this dinner. But how much time do you have to read it? That's the problem, right? So does the chef get it at the beginning of the season? It is on our kitchen, on the wall, and we have it all there to look at 24 hours. You know what she's saying, how much preparation do you need?
Starting point is 00:55:34 Before a day, a day. That's unfair to Anthony, right? Because in a real world, they would have it way before they get on the boat, because how do you provision? So if he doesn't see our preference sheet before you get on the boat, how does you provision? So if he doesn't see our preference sheet before you get on the boat, how does he provision for a vegetarian or a vegan? So
Starting point is 00:55:48 because it's a TV show, a vegan, a gluten free and something else for everything, it's not fair to him because it is a television show. But the disadvantage is that they're always they're trying to make good television and getting the crew to be shorthanded and to rush and to be at the whim of these demanding guests. But at the same time, these demanding guests are paying $45,000. In fact, the tip that you got for $30,000 was a three-night trip.
Starting point is 00:56:13 They don't tell you that. So there were two with... How many are there on the boat? How many three-night trips were there? Do you know? Only one. There was only one. There was only one. So the week before us was a three-night trip, so they get $30,000.
Starting point is 00:56:23 So they're going to make us look like we're cheap, but we're not. We're paying the same, $10,000. So I had a friend on who ironically, when I came home last night, it was a rerun on Bravo and it was hers. It was probably like six years ago. And it was with Captain Sandy. And they were not portrayed as being troublesome guests. And they left and they were like, this was so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:56:46 They went up on this thing and set up a meal in Capri and they were like crying about it. And she goes, well guys, this was not great tip, but that's what Yachty is. You're each getting whatever. Like I said, it's like a while ago. I don't even think each of them got a thousand dollars. But she had reached out to me
Starting point is 00:57:06 because they were scrambling for guests and it was only six people. And I'm like, I don't think anyone thought about the fact that it's only six people. It would have been less demanding, less people to do it. And therefore it should be less of a tip. But I felt badly for her because they're on and now someone's watching this for the first time last night and it's now been years and they might be like, oh my God,
Starting point is 00:57:32 I know this couple. They're not cheap. Right. Or, wow, why were they cheap? And it's like there were only six of them. Right. And that's why the 30,000 and 20,000 is very misleading. And I'm going to have to put that on my Instagram because I'm getting so much feedback.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Everything is that we did pay 10,000 a night. And by the way, probably it was 45% of what we paid. Imagine going on vacation, paying 45,000 for five meals in two nights, and then giving a $20,000 tip on top of that. That's unbelievably generous. No? It is. Okay, so let me ask you, Barbie That's unbelievably generous. No? It is.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Okay, so let me ask you, Barbie, how old are you? I'm 29. And drop dead gorgeous. Thank you. How long have you been doing this for? I've been doing this for six years. How did you decide to get into this industry? My friend owns a yacht,
Starting point is 00:58:17 and his stew canceled on him last minute. And I was in the car, and he's like, do you wanna be my stew? Ever since then, I never got off the. And did you grow up here in Florida? Argentina. Oh Argentina. So did you get, when did you start it? Did you start training here or there? Here. Here six years ago. I started. Okay so how old are you when you came over from Argentina? Gosh I think I was like eight. Oh okay cool. That's really impressive. I read that you speak multiple languages. I do. I speak
Starting point is 00:58:44 English, Spanish, I'm learning Hebrew and a little bit of Yiddish. A little bit of Yiddish. I love it. Are you Jewish? I'm converting. Oh, awesome. Good for you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:58:55 I have to give you my book, Secrets of a Jewish Mother. I know. Shameless plug. I won. But I do have to give it to you. And you have one. Well, sort of. So now, when you started 60 years ago, were you a fan of Below Deck?
Starting point is 00:59:07 And did you watch it? No, but when I started yachting, my friends were like, oh, you're like Below Deck. Like, when people are like, what do you do? And you tell them yachting, you're like, oh, it's like Below Deck. And that's how I first started. I was like, what's Below Deck? And I watched it and I was like, oh, I'm going to end up eventually on that show. And how did you end up on the show?
Starting point is 00:59:23 So I ran into a casting director while I was working and she offered me to try out. Wait, what do you mean you ran into her? She came on the boat? She was on a boat. Yeah, she was on a boat. Oh, she was on the boat. As a guest or whatever? A guest, guest.
Starting point is 00:59:36 A guest of a guest. Oh, okay. And I was working and she asked me if I wanted to apply and I went through the whole interview process which is long. Was it hard? It was long. It's hard is long. Was it hard? It was long. It's hard and long.
Starting point is 00:59:46 So what I've heard from people in the industry, particularly the captain of the yacht that I was lucky enough to stay on for a few days of my friends, of course I always ask about Below Deck, like I was obsessed. And he said, I won't hire anybody that's been on Below Deck. It's career suicide. Is it deck. It's career suicide. Is it really? It's career suicide for it. So as you decided to go on it, you're like, I hope this propels me to a different career,
Starting point is 01:00:13 obviously, because you don't plan on going back and doing this for so you kind of did it as this is like the last shebang or what's the deal? Right. This is my retirement charter. Okay. My retirement season. No, this is definitely career suicide. I am not getting hired on another yacht, like a regular one.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Do they know that you won the show? For sure, they find out. Yeah, and they don't want it because why? Because it's drama and you're fighting. Nobody wants a crew member that's going to come and bring below deck drama on their boat. No, but if you tell them it's off the television. It's not though, because below deck is real and everything we're doing is very real
Starting point is 01:00:48 and our reactions are very real. I would think that they wouldn't want a below deck person because their aspirations were not solely to be a great person in yawning. And therefore, if I have a choice of somebody else that's not hoping to be on TV or gain followers, they might just be a more dedicated employee.
Starting point is 01:01:07 That's a good point. So that's what I think it really probably is. Well, for me doing the show, if I could go back and do it, I really thought that the show was about the crew and that they would, I knew I would be on it. I thought they would make me funny because I was giving them funny things with the Diet Coke and with the amendment, whatever it was. Because I didn't think I did anything bad. And the things that they cut out were like,
Starting point is 01:01:30 I mean, I haven't seen the rest of it, but so far, like you haven't seen me get the things and we played games and we went in the jacuzzi. I mean, there were other things that we did. It looks like we just like complained, ate at the meal and then left. I don't know. It was a little bit choppy for me, but I would say that I would not do it again. I mean, I just, I would, I don't, I don't know
Starting point is 01:01:50 anybody who should spend, you know, that much money and put their reputation at risk where someone could say something about you that could really hurt you. The only reason I thought about doing it a couple of years ago, and I was like, well, first of all, this is a few years ago and I certainly didn't want to pay for the whole thing myself. So I was like, who are some thirsty rich friends that might want to join? So I reached out to them. You didn't call me. You know what?
Starting point is 01:02:13 I didn't. Actually, it didn't occur to me. I think because I thought of you being such a big celebrity bravo person. I don't know. I just thought, and all I was hoping for was like, you know, of course I would want to get something out of it. So I was like, oh, we'll do a podcast on the,
Starting point is 01:02:33 on the show or something, or just mention it, whatever. So then I went to my friend. Good business expense. And my friend is a Bravo fan and she was like, yeah, maybe, you know, maybe we'd be interested, whatever. So I'm staying at her house in Tampa and doing standup and she comes like running down the stairs and she's like, oh, we are not doing that show. She's like, I was just watching it.
Starting point is 01:02:57 There's no way I can't imagine what they would say about us and this and that. And I was naive. I mean, one thing I've noticed about reality TV, I don't think a lot of people think about it, is like nobody really knows what you look like from the back until you're on reality TV or on TV. Like you look at yourself in the mirror and you're like, okay. And not until you realize like, oh my God, I have like a fucking crazy cowlick in the back of my head.
Starting point is 01:03:21 So it's like there's all of that. I don't think like that. Also I don't like my ass. That's Heather. Heather thinks like that. I don't of my head. So it's like there's all of that. I don't think also I don't like that. That's Heather. Heather thinks so. I don't have my ass and I'm like, of course I would be like. Heather has the sickest body. She came to dinner the other night in this green dress. I'm like, by the way, I think you should wear that green dress in the act. I know you don't want to wear the shoes that too high for an hour, but. I'll look for better shoes. But anyway, I. So hot. Thank you, dear. So sick. But, but I was, you know, so anyway, then after that, we still thought about it.
Starting point is 01:03:48 And then there was a time where I'm like, what if I did just pay for the whole thing to get the promotion for Juice to Scoop? But then I'm like, no, they're going to be saying things like, who doesn't have a podcast? Why does this girl think she's young enough? You know what I mean? I can imagine all the things that they would say about me. I didn Bravo loved I believe loved that you were the target I think they loved it I think they wanted it loved it and I think they would do the same thing to me yeah I think they would make me look like a complete asshole I think they'd make me look like a drunk but I also think that I think
Starting point is 01:04:26 other things that I'm not going to want some good buttery chardonnay like like I don't know I might be a drunk well no but like Barbie said it's very real and in the moment I think it depends on what's going on in the boat behind the scene so like Barbie was giving the cold shoulder to Frazier so there wasn't a lot of interaction because she was totally icing him out. So they had to they have to make a show but they didn't have to make it into two episodes like I saw one
Starting point is 01:04:50 episode this season that was only 33 minutes long and then the crew goes they say goodbye and the cruise off you know, yeah, depends on what there's on the lot to happen. That's great. And if there's not, they move on. But that's the thing about
Starting point is 01:05:03 the show is that if the people are boring, they'll either make it a one day. Like I remember they had somebody on and I was told that they made them, they were boring. So they only gave them like one night on the boat. Yeah. That's what I, that's what someone in casting told me. What do you mean gave them one night? They just showed one night. They didn't catch them off the boat. No, but I think they only gave them for one night.
Starting point is 01:05:20 You're boring. Give them your 50 grand. You're boring. Actually, I don't remember exactly what the situation was. But I do know that if there were multiple your 50 grand. You're right. Actually, I don't remember exactly the situation. Thank you. But I do know that there were multiple people on the boat. Everyone on the boat, except for one week and was on three nights, was on for two nights. Yet our episode is one or one and a half episodes and others are half an episode. So it depends on what they get out of the people on the boat. Will you go back and do it again on TV?
Starting point is 01:05:42 Oh, I'm definitely going back. Not you. Oh, OK. Barbie. No, I'm definitely gone bad. Not you. Oh, okay. Barbie. I'm kidding. That was a joke. Now, but you said you won't go back. Barbie, would you go as another, okay, continue on? Absolutely, I would. And, um. Well, if she's on, then maybe I'll go. There we go. If you're on, I'll go back. It'll be better. Honey, are you kidding me? Asking me back? They're going to pay me this time. Yeah, but then you'll be, you'll be better. Honey, are you kidding me? Asking me back, they're gonna pay me this time. Yeah, but then you'll be all like watching your P's and Q's and you won't be good. I can't help who I am.
Starting point is 01:06:09 You know, as much as I always am gonna watch it, you know I can't help myself. Okay, now what about all the... I can't help myself. Now, do you have any comments on the show or you can't tell us? I can, I just don't like talking about it. So you're currently at a romantic situation happen on this season? this season not we'll see we'll see okay, okay?
Starting point is 01:06:29 But in the past when it hasn't been filmed you have Yeah, but it's never a good idea boatman says are the worst what about with something happens out at sea Yeah, like stranding happen with a guest. No, I've never crossed that line. I'm usually around married men though Yeah, I know she would never. No way. I'm just saying, they might have to ever try. Yes, for sure. I don't even know, for sure.
Starting point is 01:06:51 How have they tried and how did you turn them down? You know, they want to give me an extra tip. So they'll ask me for my number to Venmo me or to Zell me. And I'll give them my number to Zell me or Venmo me and then follows up with a message. Hey, so beautiful. So nice meeting you Yeah, I said yeah, it was nice meeting your family your wife your children and he has my only fancy cap And then I blocked them and I never returned and you do block I do I do after you got yeah
Starting point is 01:07:19 I'm not a home record and then how much was the extra tip for for these people from the oh, I Wasn't that much? was like six hundred seven hundred. That's pretty good for an extra tip on top of your split No, that was just like my tip for that day Like instead of just giving me cash he was like I'm gonna exal you give me your number and I left and he was like Okay, here's six hundred seven hundred dollars. Oh, because it was like one day trip. It was a one day. Oh, okay Okay, I have a question for you. You had said you had the last boat The biggest boat you worked on was 80 feet and now 190 which do you like better or something? I mean, which do you like better in terms because on a smaller boat you have to do more things you do
Starting point is 01:07:54 But it's more fun that people don't require such service on small boats It's just like, you know, like basic drinks party DJ Miami life. It's way easier on a mega yacht It's five-star service giving four seasons well I'll tell you one thing that didn't happen on the boat we didn't get turned down at night I didn't complain or anything Zandy but I'm just saying we didn't turn down Jill did not have to turn down. No it wasn't, I'm actually very neat. I actually was very neat. Wait, hold on, they didn't turn it?
Starting point is 01:08:26 No, the sheet wasn't turned down. Down with a chocolate. The actual turned down with a chocolate. Well you did mention the chocolates. Did you guys have the chocolates? No, no, no chocolate. No chocolate. No chocolate, no chocolate.
Starting point is 01:08:36 And why did you guys, because you were short one? Did I get water next to my bed? Zandy was ahead of you. Zandy was ahead of me, and Zandy was also in charge of everything housekeeping. So everything that was inside was 100% Zandi. So those sheets being turned is on her. Where is Zandi today?
Starting point is 01:08:50 I really don't know and don't care. Oh, you're not a fan? Not a fan. I have a question for you. I actually have a question for you from the night because I actually had a few more things that I had on my little list that I... Complaints or what? Not complaints.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Whatever. The issues that happened on the tips and I didn't want to make them look bad. So I actually sent it to Frasier. When I got off the boat, I sent Frasier because we exchanged numbers and we became actually very friendly. Until he said you were the worst guest he's ever had. Right. Until that.
Starting point is 01:09:22 And I sent him a list of things probably that's why things that needed to be done and I said to him I'd rather be done in the future well no I'll tell you what they are and so because I would want to know if I was you and if you don't want to know then just you know rip it up whatever and I'll tell you what they were you ready because I and I actually wrote because I don't want to make you guys look bad okay okay there are window shades in the bedrooms right and the Sun is very bright when you're on the water and you want them down at night. So when you wake up in the morning at five in the morning,
Starting point is 01:09:47 it's not on your face, which it was, because we couldn't turn down the shade in the bedroom. Are they electric? One of them was left open and we didn't know how to turn it down. Is it broken or? You were in the VIP, was it in the curtain? VIP downstairs.
Starting point is 01:09:59 No, there was like a shade that went up and down. You don't know, you don't remember. Anyway, that didn't go down. Also, well, you're not gonna like, Zandy won't like this, but you know, There was like a shade that went up and down. You don't know. You don't remember. Anyway, that didn't go down also Well, you're not gonna like that Zandy won't like this, but you know, they left The housekeeping stuff was left in a room. It wasn't my room Bathrobe came back soaking wet No, I'm just telling you I mean these are the things and I and I well and the TV was broken in the room So we couldn't watch TV and not that I was watching TV, but I liked to go to sleep with the TV on.
Starting point is 01:10:25 So I just gave him a list of a few things. Listen, you know what? I agree. I was helping them. I agree. I don't give a shit, I'm getting off the boat. I can't remember. I'm helping the next person, you know?
Starting point is 01:10:34 There's been times, you know, where I'm not being filmed or whatever, but people know who I am, and I'm very scared of people saying shit. That's right. But then at the same time, I've struggled because I'm like, of people saying that's right and but then at the same time I've struggled because I'm like if this was my business that's right I want to know to know so it's like how do you do it like but then is this person gonna
Starting point is 01:10:55 do a tick-tock about what an asshole I am well obviously they did about me yeah that's part of being in this world you know you're exposing yourself to other people criticizing every little thing. I mean, I was being nice to the next guest because the TV was broken. So the next person is going to complain. So instead of them complaining on camera. And the next guests were...
Starting point is 01:11:14 Not all of them, but like they were a lot. You had some tough ones after? We had some really tough ones. That looked like a cupcake. That was actually rude. I don't know about a cupcake, but like close. Like a cookie with frosting. Not going to get a cupcake.
Starting point is 01:11:25 No, but I mean, even if you have like an Airbnb or whatever, you know, like I've stayed at someone's house and they're doing it for Airbnb, they're like, any tips you have, you know? And I was like, you should walk around and film a little video of how you do everything. Don't put it in the book that's harder to comprehend. Do a little video.
Starting point is 01:11:43 This is how the blinds shut. This is this. This is that. That's a good idea. I was like, you should have bikes, even if they're cheap, go get a bikes for 100 bucks. Have the bikes because whatever. And they loved that. You know, I would, I would want to know what is a great guest. What is a great guy? If what could I have done better? In other words, in terms of communicating with us, not talk at all. And Keller, I think it was the amount of things like I think it was just like the amount of different things. Even though all those things were right. It was just like
Starting point is 01:12:16 hearing them back to back to back to back as you're working is just kind of like, I know. Is that a Frazier did his job, honestly, and had a menu out and had snacks out And had the bathroom with uh toothpaste and whatever um I wouldn't have had much to say would I? So if they had done their job, no offense, but your guys had done your job in advance of us getting on board We wouldn't have had any issues and if the chef had read the preference menu and provisioned correctly
Starting point is 01:12:45 There wouldn't have had any issues. And if the chef had read the preference menu and provisioned correctly, there wouldn't have been a problem. Right. So that's why it upset me that I got so much heat because what did I do? I'm the one- Like here's the things that would bug me out. If I was, cause sometimes I see this.
Starting point is 01:12:58 If I want coffee or a latte or whatever, I want it to be really hot. And sometimes I'm watching the show and I'm like, you know, by the time they, I'll be watching it and they'll be like making a latte for someone and then they have a conversation with someone else. And I'm like, I'm sure that latte arrived. It's getting cold.
Starting point is 01:13:14 And it's cold. And then what are you supposed to do? God, do you have a microwave? Can I just like keep, I'm not enjoying this coffee and I want to enjoy it with the sunrise. Like there's certain things that you like. And then you're gonna complain and get you know criticized for that yeah say that or like a chardonnay being warm or whatever things like that
Starting point is 01:13:32 we or being the jacuzzi and it's been 25 minutes and you're like I'd like my cocktail where is the girl well if you had a bell, you'd be able to take that. But I don't understand what the bell is. Not to annoy, but to just say hello, I'm a knife. What I didn't understand about the bell, can I say, what I didn't understand about the bell, is the bell would have to be like, Next to the jacuzzi. Absolutely, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:13:56 But that would be a whole wiring thing for a boat. I think that's wireless. It's a doorbell, wireless doorbell. I had them in, do you remember my house in the Hamptons? No, did you remember that? The outside was very far from the kitchen, the table. All right, well I guess that's a good idea. I thought-
Starting point is 01:14:11 So that if somebody was in the kitchen, it could have been Gary, it could have been Bobby, it could have been Allie. Instead of screaming, and if I didn't have my phone, I could just ding dong, and someone would open the kitchen door and say, what do you need? I'd be like, we forgot the forks.
Starting point is 01:14:23 It's a communication thing. So yes, if you're actually a great idea, and you want to drink and they leave you alone because they're sure to staffed and somebody else, another guest is downstairs and somebody's sleeping and somebody's doing room service and I'm in the jacuzzi and I want to drink. Now I got to get out of the tub, get dry, go downstairs and find someone and I, and what if I can't scream? Like everybody's yelling at me about a doorbell, but like how am I supposed to find anyone? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:50 Cause right? The doorbell is so funny. It's funny, but it's true. What other option is there? What I would do is like, I would have like set up, if someone was going to introduce you with cocktails, I'd be like, I'm going to be checking on you guys in the meantime, that's
Starting point is 01:15:05 what he said. He didn't do it. He left his love to 45 minutes in a ice bucket. You could help yourself but I will be checking on you. But just in case like if you want to booze it up, what do you think 45 minutes is too long to be checked on? Was
Starting point is 01:15:20 that reasonable? He was really 45 minutes and I've got eight people at the table. It was really 45 minutes. And it was and by the way, it was on the show that someone else actually said ahead of me saying the doorbell. He said yeah, because it was 45 minutes. A little bit traumatized just like reliving it right now as we're like, asking.
Starting point is 01:15:35 Not really because now I know Jill personally. And I understand that Jill is not malicious. She doesn't have a malicious bone. Now she's just a mom and she's just giving her opinions. and it's not malicious. So no, it's not traumatizing. No. Well, I love it. I would do it if it was for free. I can't justify spending the money. But seriously, how do the other guests on the other weeks when you're short staffed or not, you can't be everywhere. So how do they communicate with you? How do they find you? We really didn't have that big of a problem, I don't think.
Starting point is 01:16:10 I don't know, I have to tune in and see if other people were missing us so much. But I think it was the man down was really what you felt. Did any other weeks have a man down or just us? I think just you guys. So yeah, I mean, it was bad. I know Captain Carey was like, why did it have to happen with Jill on the boat?
Starting point is 01:16:24 Like, why did the food have to be a disaster with Jill? And it was two meals that were a disaster. I thought it was a disaster. You made great TV. No, but it was two meals in a row. We were starving. And that's why I didn't have a snack box. I mean, I was literally starving.
Starting point is 01:16:35 That's why you never looked better in that pink baby suit. There are benefits to it. There really are. Yeah, that's what I just lied at the end of the time. Barbie, tell everybody if they want to find me on Instagram where they can find you. You can find me at Barbie Pasquale with saw the slide at the end of the talk. Barbie, tell everybody if they want to follow me on Instagram where they can find you. You can find me at Barbie Pasquale with two L's at the end. And of course, Jill Zarin is Mrs. Jill Zarin everywhere.
Starting point is 01:16:54 And her rugs are fabulous. She has a brand new line of the cutest plates and dishes. I love it. It's very Palm Beach, very Palm Springs, very Beverly Hills Hotel, great inspired. Of course, they have all the candles with the crystals. And I love those two through your company with Jill and Allie. And you guys are always bringing new products and you're just killing it. And thank you for having me at your beautiful home.
Starting point is 01:17:18 I got one more thing to tell you. What? On the boat when we left, I had bought candles, right? And I gave everyone gifts. Gary wrote a poem for the entire but do you did he read it cuz he really didn't read the Gary wrote a poem for each of you and they wouldn't let us do it so we did it I have it on my phone because he did it off off the boat send it wouldn't let us read the poem I left crystal candles for everybody I left my pickleball paddles and balls there and I heard that the that the cut that the production company took it and didn't give it to the crew how do you like that I wonder where those candles ended up I want I wonder where those people playing
Starting point is 01:17:51 pickleball yep really Bravo really cuz Barbie would like good thing that Barbie's here because she's going home with a racket thank you love you bye
