Starting point is 00:00:27 The DellXPS built for you. Dustin from Sacred Symbols here. Have you ever wondered what it actually feels like to have a better laptop like the Dell XPS powered by Intel Core? With its premium thin and light design, it feels smooth in your hands. The responsive touchscreen keeps things fast and precise for easy scrolling and swiping. And with long-lasting battery life, you get non-stop energy to keep working without constantly hunting for a charger.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Built for those who want better. The DellXPS built for. you. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Look who's here. Everyone's favorite funny dad, Italian, Irish, New Yorker, mixed, girl dad, dedicated husband, hot wife, smart wife. And every time you come, I go over, I go, we're going to talk about these few things.
Starting point is 00:02:02 You immediately start giving your opinion. And I keep saying, save it for the pot, save it for the pot. We don't edit this stuff. It's basically live. We basically don't cut anything out. And I'm like, don't. And you're just so anxious to give your opinion. First of all, I want to hear you had a great time in Vegas.
Starting point is 00:02:19 But what was going on with those floods? I know. It was crazy. Yeah. The day, was it Sunday or Saturday? It was like the streets were like lakes. I was in Phoenix-ish, Scottsdale area. So I woke up to seeing the floods in Newport.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Yeah. insane. I know. And then I saw the Vegas and you were performing that night. So could people get to your show? I don't know. They, they, they turned up. I don't, you know, whether they were already in the casino and just walked in. Yeah, because why do you have to cross the street anyway? Yeah. It's wild. But did they, was it cleaned up by the time you left? Yeah, I think it just goes, I think it just takes a while to go down the drains. Oh. Because it was just like flash, like rain. Oh, okay. So I think it's, it doesn't stay very long. Anyway, it was fine. I drove home the next day and it was nothing. Okay. Yeah, it made it. It was fun. All right. The world is surviving.
Starting point is 00:03:06 But how are your shows? Great. You're there a whole week. You know, you're there from like Sunday to Monday, which is at the Brad Garrett Comedy. And this is the first time I've realized, which is kind of sad and good, I guess. That you're just realizing it now. That Vegas, like, it offers me, I have like nothing anymore. You know what I mean? Like, I'm an old man. Like, I went to, they told me they're like, we could hook you up at this day club. It's like the number one day club and called like, pie yourself. No, by myself. To go to like,
Starting point is 00:03:34 br-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b- Yeah, and they were like, we can get you behind the DJ booth or something, and it was like T-Sto or so, one of the big DJs. I walked in, I mean. So you did go, you're like, sure, I'll check it out.
Starting point is 00:03:44 I walked in. I looked, and then, I mean, everybody in there's 17. Wait, did you have your swim shorts on when you walked in? I had like baggy or pants. Like a light, cool. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I didn't want to go on. I mean, I would have been real sad. Like, look at his old time. And you had your good sunglasses on him. I mean, I look like I could... You look like a hip. Yeah. You look like a daddy that a girl would absolutely be not embarrassed to say she's trying to take your money.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Or look like I was going there to rescue my daughter from like trafficking or something. You're Liam Neeson. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you have a, you have like a little bit of a, you know, Brad Pitt-ish look killing. Yeah. Sure, sure.
Starting point is 00:04:26 So you went in there and when did you turn around? I didn't even really get all the way in because it was very loud and very, very... crowded because I think it was their final one of the summer and I couldn't believe how young everybody looks I mean they look like they're 17 they probably are 17 yeah I'm like I'm out on that which is you know it's really hard sometimes when I'm like I'm just starting now to be like okay if I go to this honestly yeah I will be the oldest person and I will be the oldest by a lot a lot and I have to start to tell myself is that something I'm still willing to do at this stage in the game. And for the first time, I mean, a lot of people would be like,
Starting point is 00:05:07 I don't know how you've done it this long and had the energy that you've had. What's the deal? Now I'm just kind of like, I just don't think I need to do that anymore. You mean like out on the town? Or just like an experience. Well, there was a conversation about doing Hollywood Horror Nights. Oh, what's like? At Universal. Yeah. And, you know, I think a lot of that stuff is like, who are you going with? And it could be really fun. Right. And as the good. group was coming together. It was everybody I liked. Okay. But right before we found out that there was no hope in getting the VIP tickets for the night we wanted because it was totally sold out. Yeah. I did write them. Brandi injuredly that I said. I just don't think I can swing it that night
Starting point is 00:05:51 because it was going to be like a Monday night or Sunday night. Yeah. And I know I have to record the next day. I live far away. And I'm like, I think the only way it would work is if it was like, We were, you know, I don't know. I just, and then it worked out. Life's rejection is God's protection. There were no tickets available. Because then there's a little bit of FOMO that had they gotten them, I would have been like, all right, let's, let's, I know I'll die laughing.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I know I'll have fun. Oh yeah, it'll be fun. It's more like I just will have to wait until AI can beam me into the place. Yeah. Then I can have fun. It's about, it's about getting there. It's about getting ready and it's by getting there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Actually being there, whether it's doing standup or whatever. is totally the best. And honestly, Halloween Horror Nights, you just walked down Ventura Boulevard now. I mean, honestly, have you seen L.A. lately? Every day is Halloween Hauron nights. I know, like, why do I have to... I mean, listen, it is a scary thing.
Starting point is 00:06:49 And all that stuff I had to do for so many years having boys and McKinsey. So I did, the Disney, the Halloween, there's Halloween when they're little, and it's a lot of school, Then when they're a little older, it is the horror stuff. It is the mazes. It's like the Halloween carnival going on the rides.
Starting point is 00:07:11 And now I'm like finding the place where I'm like, yeah, I can go to a Halloween party. And I'm like, I might not dress as a slut this year. No? Are you going to a Halloween party? Yeah, we got invited twice. Saturday night. I know. Halloween's a Saturday night.
Starting point is 00:07:25 And where we live is a pretty great place for Halloween. So our good friend is having a very nice party. And then we can go in the cart and like hit some other. things. Oh my God. And I don't have an outfit together. And I don't know if I'm going to, I just don't think, I just, I just, my God, what if I, Peter drags out that Bruce Jenner outfit one more time. I, he better not be pulling out that Bruce Jenner one more time. I don't even know if we have it. We have, we have, like three years in a row. That, we have not done it in a really long time. I know, but maybe it was. I mean, it would be awkward since, you know, Taylor could be at the party.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Yeah, that's what. So maybe. So maybe. When we did it the first time, it was Bruce from 76 was Peter and Bruce was there. Right. But I think, yeah, I don't know. Like I'm like, I was literally thinking, do I go Halloween something cool and comfy and like go tennis shoes and still like look pretty or whatever? But no wig because a wig hits your head. Right. No, something that's just could be clever but comfortable for my first year ever of not going sexy slut.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Are you, do you and Peter have to do like a. couples costume. I mean, we don't, and I haven't even thought of anything. I've just been this month has been so busy with doing the shows because we just did the Phoenix and we're going to a wedding this week and like, it's just been busy. Don't. All right, well, do you know what you are? I mean, no, not really, but I have an idea. I have an idea. I have an idea. I think I'm going to be, you probably don't know who I'm going to be, but. Is it another like, it's an 80s. It's an adamant. I think I'm going to be adamant. I think I got it all down. Oh, that's a good one. You know, like the, you know, the frilly and the makeup.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I think I'm going to do Adam. Nobody will know who I am unless you're, you know, a 58 or above, but. Okay. So I think I'm going to be Adam Ant. What's Adam Ant's biggest song? Goody too.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Goody too. Goody, goody two. Don't drink, don't smoke. What do you do? You don't drink, don't smoke. Okay. I love it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:23 I think I might be that. Okay, so maybe I should do something like that. Like, I do like doing like a classic star from a specific era. Cindy Lauper. I mean, that's the era. You would know it immediately if you did it right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Yeah. And I could work it around a sensible tennis shoe. Yeah, exactly. Girls just want to have fun. All right. Maybe. I have so many wigs. I should do something around my number,
Starting point is 00:09:47 my wigs. Yeah. All right. Well, Baywatch just dropped their preview or trailer for the series. Yeah, the new Baywatch. And Drake saw it and we're pretty excited. Like,
Starting point is 00:10:01 pretty excited because it kind of reminds me of when the kids were younger, we went through a great era of Monday nights we would watch 9-1-9-1-1 like that show with like Angela Bassett and she was a cop. Was it for a little one? No, Roblo was on it? Then they spun off. Yeah, yeah. There's 911 like Austin and 911, like, but 911 L.A. was so good because they'd be like earthquakes and they'd be like, And then I would like predict what was going to be the next thing. And they had like a, they had the firemen and then they had the cops. And then they had a lot of very, um, LGBQI relationships happening. Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Yeah. Throughout the whole thing. So that was always kind of fun. Yeah. So this looks like, I mean, there's a hot guy and his daughter shows up. Yeah, the hot older guy. And it was, oh my God, you know, I never had a relationship with this daughter and she's hot. And I'm like, that's kind of weird.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Like the minute you meet your daughter, you're like, here's your red baiting suit. Like, we just met. He did ask her. I saw the trailer. He said, are you a lifeguard? She said, it's been my life's dream to be a lifeguard. And then, you know, so whatever. And they do say, oddly in the trailer, they say, Baywatch, the most popular television show of all time.
Starting point is 00:11:19 I think it is. That's what it says in a trailer. I think it is because it was syndicated and because so many other countries watched it because it was just such good looking people. It was so stupid. It was like their vision of America, I think. Yes, in the beach life and all what it could be like. And Drake and I are concerned because we do live with a former lifeguard.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Oh, that's right. And we will have to hear. That's not the way it is. That's not the way it is. And that, you know, I saved two lives. I mean, he was already had a chip on his shoulder about that young kid. Oh, yeah. That went to the White House that saved that 10-year-old boy.
Starting point is 00:11:54 And I was like, okay, Peter. Like, people didn't have cameras back then. Sorry that your life didn't, that you didn't become a kid. For the one guy that you were, no, he said he's taped two people. Oh, wow. Anyway, I think it'll be fun. And the opening scene is these girls are doing the parasailing thing, but a low flying plane gets caught in. I watched it twice this morning.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I'm all in. Isn't Brooks Nader in it? Yeah. But I feel they didn't really feature her in the trailer. Why would they? I mean, I don't know if she's probably, she's probably not killing it as an actress. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:27 And then one girl's like, can you handle it? We totally had a Baywatch moment. They're like, Drake, remember when you got like you stepped on something or something and this, the hottest girl? I have a photo of it. He was like 12. And a girl that literally looked like a Baywatch girl.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Really? Had to like bandage up his foot or something. Yeah. And I mean, it was serious. It looked like it was fake. Like it looked like it was cast and she was so hot. And he's like 12 and he's like, he's like bending down.
Starting point is 00:12:58 I have photos of it. That's crazy. I'm like, I hope you know, mine is going to take it. How soon before they have Hasselhoff back on this? I mean, they have to call him, right? He's got to come to do something. I think he's not going to be part of it. No?
Starting point is 00:13:10 It's just, you get to a level where there's nostalgia and then there's straight up crusty. Oh, well, he's straight up crusty. He's straight up crusty, and I just don't think we need straight up crusty. And also his life took a weird, personal bad toll. It took a lot, several. Remember when the daughter was mad at him and she filmed him on the floor, eating the burger drunk? Do I remember?
Starting point is 00:13:32 It's the greatest video ever. He's laying on the ground drunk in Vegas, I believe. And he's just babbling, making no sense. Yeah, it's pretty wild. Wow. And then, but also just knowing, like, the Pamela Anderson story and everything. Yeah. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:13:49 I saw this clip about this girl giving her opinion of how she was like, now people are finally like, yeah, I'm kind of over Pamela Anderson, like wanting a purple heart for not wearing me. makeup. Yeah. They're like, I think we're over it now. Like, oh, you're so brave. First of all, you're already still gorgeous. Right. You want it in the genetics pool with your natural full lips and your blue eyes and your perfect teeth and like, so, okay, so now you don't want to wear it. Okay, don't. Like, who gives a shit? Yeah. And there's a lot of women not wearing it just because you're on the red carpet and not wearing it. I don't know what you expect that we're supposed to do for
Starting point is 00:14:26 you. You still look good. It's just like you with your Halloween cousins. I think she's supposed to be comfortable, you know what I mean? She's done. It's sneaker time from Pamela Anderson. Dustin from Sacred Symbols here, you know when you're in the middle of a heavy recording session, editing a show, or just trying to get real work done on the go, and your laptop starts slowing down or burning up in your lap? It's the worst. So, what does it actually feel like to switch over to a better laptop, like the Dell XPS powered by Intel Core? For starters, it's built with a premium design that's incredibly thin and light, so it feels smooth, meaning far less weight on your shoulders when you're packing up for travel.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Then you open it up and the responsive touchscreen makes scrolling, zooming, and swiping feel completely fast and precise. Everything just flows. Best of all, with its long-lasting battery life, it feels like non-stop energy. You get a better way to work without being chained to a charger all day. Built for those who want better. The DellXPS built for you. Dustin from Sacred Symbols here,
Starting point is 00:15:28 you know when you're in the middle of a heavy recording session? editing a show or just trying to get real work done on the go and your laptop starts slowing down or burning up in your lap, it's the worst. So what does it actually feel like to switch over to a better laptop like the Dell XPS powered by Intel Core? For starters, it's built with a premium design that's incredibly thin and light. So it feels smooth, meaning far less weight on your shoulders when you're packing up for travel.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Then you open it up and the responsive touchscreen makes scrolling, zooming, and swiping feel completely fast and precise. everything just flows. Best of all, with its long-lasting battery life, it feels like non-stop energy. You get a better way to work without being chained to a charger all day. Built for those who want better.
Starting point is 00:16:14 The DellXPS built for you. Well, okay. I kind of saved this topic. I didn't really talk about it last week. And I thought, you're coming on. I want to talk about it because a lot of people might have heard of it and don't understand,
Starting point is 00:16:30 but being too professional comedians, Yes. We're going to get into some stand-up talk. Juicy Scoop, stand-up talk. And there's been a lot of stand-up stories lately. We have a lot of stand-up juicy-scoe talk about. So I started to notice the videos last week, which were, oh, my God, Sebastian, how do you say his last name? Manuscalco.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Yeah. He is one of the most popular stand-ups. He is very physical. He's, you know, probably, he's like mid-50s or early 50s. He is a goes, talks about his Italian-American family. And he's just one of those comics predominantly clean. Everyone loves him. You could take your grandmother.
Starting point is 00:17:10 You could take a 12-year-old kid. Kills it, whatever. So they had this raw dog channel on Sirius. And somehow they gave it to him. And then it changed. The channel changed. So the channel used to play clips of people's taped stand-up from specials or maybe not even from specials.
Starting point is 00:17:31 of it just been from... From albums and specials. Albums and specials. And it only brought in 117,000 to 141,000 per month. And then they had to split that... What, listeners? No, the amount of money it made. Oh.
Starting point is 00:17:46 And then they split that among 800 comics that they played. Yeah. So the most that anybody was getting, really, was probably $150 a month. That's what... Well, it just depended upon how much you have played. Some people have played more than others. people got a little bit more. But no, it was never a giant sum. People, and people in their videos
Starting point is 00:18:06 when they were talking about it would say that. They were like, it was enough to fill up the car with gas or whatever a month. Right. You know, so I don't think anybody was living off of it. And I think what was kind of interesting is it kind of became one of those things where since I, people have said they've heard myself on serious. If I've gotten a check from serious, I don't know where it is because I've never gotten a check like that. And people have asked me that. No, no, you're supposed to get this money. And I'm like, I mean, I don't know, but whatever. I mean, I understand if someone was being played a lot and the other comics that have a
Starting point is 00:18:41 bigger name wanted to, like, support comics that, you know, get the job done, aren't famous, our road comics, and they were looking forward to those couple hundred dollars a month. Well, it wasn't a profitable channel. So they changed it to hit for he's now running it. But part of, I don't understand it, he's running it. It's his channel. But they changed it from 800 comics to only 275 comics. And a lot of those comics are huge names or they're dead.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Yeah, it's like Joan Rivers. There's some of them. I look at the list. But you still have to pay the Joan Rivers estate, right? I think so. So it's not like they're getting away with by playing dead people. No, I don't think they're getting away with like it being any cheaper. But yeah, I saw the list of people.
Starting point is 00:19:24 I feel like a lot of people went to like Joan Rivers and Johnny Carson. but there was also a bunch of pretty middle of the road comedians as well. Yeah, there is. Yeah, see, like, look. Here it is, yeah. It's, uh, I mean, it's, it's Roy Wood Jr. They got rid of Hannah Gadsby. Remember when she was like such a big deal?
Starting point is 00:19:45 The Australian queer girl. Yeah. I mean, these are all funny people that and I think they're all doing, I'm looking at the list now. And I think that they, they're all doing pretty well on the road. But also, I mean, it's like, this is just a small. There's like 800 people. But it means like you're out forever. Like they can't bring you back next month?
Starting point is 00:20:04 I don't know. I honestly don't really know how it works. I've never been played on Raw Dog. So, you know, this doesn't affect me at all. But I mean, everyone's asking me about it, of course. I mean, it's a, listen, it's a bummer for anybody to have their job change. But a lot of people's jobs are changing. And a lot of things that people are getting paid for before, they may not be being paid for today.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Right. That seems to be. You know, in every industry. A lot of people's opinions are, yeah, this is just a changing, like everything changes. So, but in the talking about it, he was getting criticized, too, as the kind of person he is. And finally, he did speak about it. Which that got a lot of shit because he just put it in his Instagram stories. So which goes away in 24 hours.
Starting point is 00:20:52 So people were like, well, obviously, he doesn't care at all. But, I mean, who knows? I mean, how much does he really care? Yeah, I mean, it was probably a deal and, you know, and people were saying that, like, he might not have known what that had meant, but also what is he supposed to do? It's like if a comedy club closed. Right. And then people were like, that was my main club and I was making this much a year.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Like, what are we supposed to do about that? Like, if they, if they need to make this profitable and they figure we're going to only, we're going to do a third of the people and we're going to do it. big names because when people know the names of the people, they're going to stay on the network longer. They're going to stay on the channel longer. Right. So that's how we're going to read. And we're going to put it under the pyramid of like one of the most famous, you know, family-friendly comics who's Sebastian. Yeah. And but I mean, I think it was not. I understand. I like that they brought it up. I like that people stood up for the working comic. But again, it's just like,
Starting point is 00:21:55 I mean, what are they supposed to do? No, I know. I think that was. I, I think that was. was a little bit of everyone was just like yeah times change you know yeah and this is part of that so yeah it sucks that people lost out on money but first of all i didn't even know that money existed like i don't even know so it's like funny thing is i felt a lot of people saying things like it's just not fair it's just not fair and i'm like well whoever got into comedy thinking it was fair like or show business like there couldn't be anything less fair than show business it's never been fair it's so true and then um thric was saying he's he's He saw something with like Burke Kreis or whatever saying.
Starting point is 00:22:30 We've got to, you know, the, we've got to unionize the comedians or something. Some other people saying that too. And I think, Drake just told me just that little bit. And I go, yeah, they've tried that for years. They tried it when they, at the comedy store in the 70s. It's never going to work. It's right. Because all you need is a mic and yourself.
Starting point is 00:22:47 And it's just not some, it's so subjective. And, you know, people can steal your material and do it for themselves and fuck you over. It's just a fuck over business. It's a fuck over business. And the only reason you should be doing it is because you love it so much and you live for it and you can't stop doing it. And when you can stop doing it, then great, go do something else.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Like, I mean, it's just, it's a really, and it's a really unique talent, which is why I keep doing it. Because a lot of people have podcasts, but not a lot of people can stand up and talk for an hour and a half. So it's like, even though the podcast is such a big deal, like you and I still want to do because it is such like a unique thing that's not a lot of people can do well I believe and this is an opinion that might not be a popular one that's okay but I felt like a lot of people who I saw saying that they've they're losing out on money where you know they've been around a long time sometimes this is always interesting to me as a guy who's you know had a moderately successful comedy career certainly
Starting point is 00:23:50 not Sebastian or I'm not but I'm not the poorest of the poor but I'm not the biggest of the big So I have kind of an opinion on it. I feel that once you get to like a certain age and you've been doing it a long time and whatever, something's not popping, I feel like maybe it's, which nobody ever does, at least in my, you know, I don't think so. Is like get another job. Like, you know what I mean? Like if you feel like this is unfair and doesn't pay enough and, and which I,
Starting point is 00:24:20 another thing that came up during this was, you know, clubs have been paying the same rate for a long time now. They really haven't changed, especially for middle acts and opening act. It's been $75 or whatever it is for ever. The headliners hasn't really changed much either, depending upon how much you sell.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Right, right. But so that came up. And I saw a lot of people bitching about, like, the price of a feature act gets. And I'm like, well, if it's not enough, go do something else. And here's why people won't. Because it's easy.
Starting point is 00:24:52 You know what I mean? Like, it's easier to do 20 minutes on a Saturday night in front of an adoring crowd than it is to go get a real job at like a Home Depot. You know what I mean? Like I know that's an unpopular opinion. No, it's not. I mean, it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:25:06 I mean, it's true. It's like, I mean, I agree with everything you're saying. I mean, I saw this one guy talk about it, and he was kind of defending Sebastian. And he was like going to go do the Boca Box or whatever that place is in Boca Botan. And he's like, look, I've been doing standard for 30 years. I'm really excited.
Starting point is 00:25:23 I have a show tonight. It's sold out. really excited to get on stage. I also have owned and run restaurants this whole time. Right. And it's like, yeah, I mean, I've always had to do something else. Me too. Real estate working on a TV show. Yeah. You know, working on the podcast, doing other things. It's a, it's a rare time that someone can do that solely, you know, and it is unfortunate. And it is unfortunate to like, if you go, well, I haven't popped yet, you know. And then, well, okay, then do it for a way that you can still do it and then love it and be excited.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Because when I was starting, people and especially guys that I'd be dating are like, well, how long are you're going to give this thing? Right. Additioning and whatever. And I'm like, when I stop getting excited to do it. But right now, I'm excited to go on the audition. I'm excited to do the 10 minute spot at Largo. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:26:14 So when I stop getting excited, then I will stop doing it. And I haven't stopped doing it, you know, but. But you're not excited anymore. I got, I had great shows. Did you? In Phoenix. That's good. I loved it at the Desert Ridge.
Starting point is 00:26:29 I, like I said, I love standing there and doing it, the actual art of doing it and doing like four shows in a row and having the bit get better and like getting excited. So that I love. What about if it's kind of bombing? Even though you know it works. You know what I mean? Like I did seven shows this week in Vegas. All of them pretty good.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Yeah. almost great until the last one, Sunday night. And I kept telling the guy I was featuring from it. Like, you know one's coming. Like they've been too good. And sure enough, the Sunday night went. And everything up into that point was like, it's the same jokes. And they're killing.
Starting point is 00:27:03 And then just that night for whatever reason, it's just off. And I mean, all these years I've been doing, I still can't figure out why, you know? I've been lucky enough that it's never like a bad show. There's been times where I'm like, I give it like a seven. Yeah. I didn't love it. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:27:18 But there's definitely bits that don't work. Right. And there's this one bit that I was telling Brandi and Julie. I didn't mean for it to be bad. I was literally just telling a story. And they were just like, you have to do that in your act. It's just so funny. And I tried a couple times. And like one time it bombed, the second time it did kind of good. Then the third time it bombed. And I'm like, okay, it's out. Like it's out. Sorry, Brandi and Julie that you thought it was so funny. Do you want me to tell what it is? Absolutely. Please. Yes. Somehow we were talking about something And I always remember this story that somebody told me And that their friend Had adopted like two kids from birth But two different parents
Starting point is 00:27:58 Or two different mothers And one of the mothers was like a stripper And you know And she just was like But that little four year old from the stripper Would kind of do some like little shady things And she found that he was The little four year was like
Starting point is 00:28:15 hoarding sugar like white sugar that you'd get like you know to cook with and putting in a little baggy and then she would just found it in her room and she'd just be sneaking it just eating it and I go what with her little pinky finger like stiffing it up for no like a little cook or. And Brady and Julie were laughing so hard and so I tried it and I tried setting it up different ways. Yeah. And it just it's someone's like what are you saying? Like it just is too weird of a concept.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Yeah. So then then I'm like, okay, goodbye with that one. The next night I'm like, it's out. So there's that, you know. Yeah, it's all, but that's what keeps it fun for me. Yeah. I mean, it's just like the fact that it's always work. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Which I like. Well, I found this other guy come across, you know, and that's how algorithms work, people. And it took me a while to realize that not everybody was seeing what I was seeing. And so a few years ago, I'd bring up weird topics on this show. And you guys still like to remind me about the weird topics I brought up. I don't bring them up anymore. It's because I was going down a rabbit hole. And I thought the whole world was seeing what I was seeing.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Yeah. My algorithm is now because I watched a lot of that guy getting eaten by a tiger. And now so all I got about nine people getting eaten by animals. I had a horrible dream because of that tiger thing. Yeah. I had a dream that a wild, ugly coyote got into my bedroom, but I was able to hide in a closet while two people got it out. And they were like, oh, no, we enjoyed having the thing.
Starting point is 00:29:41 It was just a weird dream, but it was because I saw that thing. of like a wild animal. But I'll tell you about this thing. This guy goes, I just want to tell you about my experience with Sebastian. Yeah, that's the other thing. People are dragging him now.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Yeah, he goes, I was opening for him, featuring for him or whatever at Cobbs. Now I'd just come from Cobbs. And I'm like, hey, how are you? And he was just like, hey, I'm good. And Sebastian didn't ask him about his life, didn't talk to him the whole time
Starting point is 00:30:11 that they're in the green room together for four shows. That's perfectly fine. Wait, hold that. So then he goes, then not Bill Burr, what's the other guy's name that's like a delight that everyone loves? Fuck, I don't know. Some other famous comedian.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Okay. He's like, hey, I'm doing the theater down the street. How are you guys doing? Want to all get a drink? Brian Regan. That was it? He always takes people out. Yeah, so Brian Regan comes by and then he goes,
Starting point is 00:30:36 oh, you know, Brian Regan like, you know, took me out. And how much a nicer Brian Regan was than Sebastian? and I kind of was like, this is the way I feel when a makeup artist says, Blake lively was quiet in the makeup chair, never asked me about my daughter. And then he goes on about, you know, Naomi Watts being such a delight. It's like, okay.
Starting point is 00:30:59 That's just the way some people are. Like, why can't some people just be quiet? Yeah. Like, sorry, you know, he was probably burnt out. And maybe he just didn't want to spend the 20 minutes before he went on stage talking to you. Now, I do talk. talk to my people and I will ask him a million questions that I follow them and everything. But I mean, I, what you were going to say about that?
Starting point is 00:31:20 I was going to say that, you know, I do that every weekend. And my features a lot of times will tell me about somebody who is so much fun, like a bird cry or something. And I tell them right up front. I'm like, I'm not that person. That's not happening this weekend. So whatever they did, I'm glad you have that memory, but it won't be happening this week. Like I probably won't talk much.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I just, I can't wait to see the TikTok about you. No, but I'm like a quiet. I'm not a dick. Right. It's okay. Like he didn't even say,
Starting point is 00:31:51 he didn't say he was, he just said he was quiet and didn't really talk to him. And I'm like, well, you don't know when he was going through. You don't know if he had like a relative that was dying. Right.
Starting point is 00:31:59 And he had to like get in his funny mood. And I'm just like. Or he's just like a quiet guy, which a lot of comedians are. Because you're on all the fucking time. And then you have to be on. and some people just have to literally save their energy. I can go all day, do shows and be nice and da-da-da-da.
Starting point is 00:32:16 But, you know, I mean, I'm still haunted by my experience in that show in Atlanta. Oh, it's, I would have tell you it again. I remembered very well. It was one of my favorites. It was such an awful story. And I'm like, it's those kind of things that then then there's another story that will come out. And then people are like, oh, put it all together. And now finally, I feel like my character and reputation has finally come back to where it's supposed to be.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Oh, yeah. Is it good again? It's good again. I think it's good. Oh, there's still some fuckers out there. But I think finally, people are like, okay, we've been listening to her for 11 years. Like, I think we kind of understand who she is as a human and work ethic and like she's not out to, like, destroy people's lives. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:58 But what happened was I was doing this show in Atlanta and they're like, hey, there's this girl that works on a local radio station. would you like her to open for you or whatever? And I go, yeah, that's cool. Like, that's fine. And then you'll go on the radio show and talk to them to promote it. I go, great. So I do the call in and they're like, yeah, whatever her name. I'm not going to say her name.
Starting point is 00:33:21 I'm going to call her Lindsay. They're like, yeah, Lindsay is headlining with you. And I was kind of like, I mean, she's opening for you. And I go, yeah, yeah, I'm excited to meet her. So we do this little fun thing to promote the show. And then I see her that night. and I go, hey, you know, all right, you're doing, you know, she goes, yeah, I'm doing this amount of time and this other guy is doing 10 minutes. And I'm like, no, I only wanted, I made it very clear. I only
Starting point is 00:33:48 have one person open for me, you know, and I wanted you to do 20. So now, and she's like, anyway, they get rid of the guy, but I'll never approve the guy. So then she goes in, I said, and also, can you not be dirty? And she's like, what? I, my whole act is about how I give my husband a blowjob. and my in-laws are coming tonight, and I really wanted them to see it. And she wasn't joking. I was like, wait, what? I go, well, I'd prefer you not to be so dirty, you know?
Starting point is 00:34:14 Yeah. And that's perfectly acceptable of the headliner to do. Yeah, and I'm like, but now, now I talked, if it's not someone I know, I do talk to them a few days before and tell them. Right. Like, these are the things I'd prefer you not to touch upon. And so I give you plenty of time that, like,
Starting point is 00:34:32 don't do the anal sex joke. Right. whatever. So anyway, so then it goes fine. And the next day, I'm like, oh, where is she? Is she here yet? And, you know, I didn't see her. And she's ignored. She comes out. She's all mean to me when she comes off stage. I'm like, whatever. And then they go on the radio and she does this entire story of how I was the cruelest, meanest person. And I wouldn't let her in the green room. And I'm like, first of all, I didn't even know there was a secondary green room. the city winery in Atlanta. I thought she was late. I didn't know where she was. Right. Because I was like,
Starting point is 00:35:10 hey, where is she? Like, let me talk to her because I feel like she, I sprung that don't be too dirty the night before. She says, I threw this young guy on the street, like, so he couldn't perform. I'm like, this is not a comedy club. This was a set thing. Yeah. And anyway, and so, oh my God, everyone, they, I called in, the radio station was so happy that I called in to defend myself because they played that thing over and over and over again. And I would get all these tweets, justice for Lindsay. And like, you're the meanest bitch that ever lived. And eventually, the dumb radio show fired her. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they fired her. And she went on to great success in comedy. And she was like, I'm going to tell my truth about working for this weird radio show.
Starting point is 00:35:52 And now she's disappeared. Who knows? She's not doing anything or whatever. But unfortunately, we're not going to get to hear that blow job bit. I'm sure it's great. But it was just kind of that thing. And I'm like, oh, God, like, who has a story about? And I remember I walked in. They, like, didn't have my music. There was, like, 12 things that were wrong. Yeah. But I still was like, the next night, I tried to, like, make up with her.
Starting point is 00:36:13 And on the radio, I was like, listen, there was massive miscommunication happening between all of the club and new and everything. And then I was like, maybe I'll never come back to Atlanta again. And I was like, no, this chick's not going to ruin my, so I did go back. But it was just one of those things where it's like, and as a woman, it's like always, you're the meanest bitch like you're the diva you know like if a woman's you know if a guy it's like oh he's a tough boss right if you're a tough boss as a woman it's not she's a tough boss it's like she's you know a total fucking cunt that's particular about shit that doesn't have to be
Starting point is 00:36:46 particular like it's always like a different so yeah anyway also people should know that I'm defending myself now being a prick on the road but uh you know it's for us to get to the comedy club, it's a long journey. That's true too. You know, so a lot of times when we had to get up at five, fly all day. We'll fly overnight and then. And now we're sitting in the green room and we have 20 minutes to like get our thoughts together. The old did you used to get picked up in like a dirty car from one of the busboys would drive you in their dirty car with like smelled like cigarettes. And, uh, I mean, these are the things that used to, by the time you got to the comedy club, you'd been through fucking hell. So a lot of times, if people were onry, that's a perfect.
Starting point is 00:37:30 acceptable, I believe, as a guy who was... And then you play shitholes. Right. You know, and so there's all that. You know, it's half filled or whatever. So you got that bumming you out. So I love to people go... The girl, the girl, they filmed her talking about me,
Starting point is 00:37:45 and the girl brought that, like, it was Halloween time. So I think she had that scary, like, Caroline face. No, that Caroline, that little doll, that skeleton. And that was me. Oh. She acted it out because at the time I was doing a lot of Barbie sketches. Sure. Oh, I remember those days.
Starting point is 00:38:01 She made me that's like horrible, scary character. Yeah. I was just like, fuck. She couldn't get the saw puppet? And here I was like, and here I went out of my way to call into the radio and the next day and be like, girl, like this was wrong. And I mean, it was just so ridiculous. Like, why I even cared? I should just like never said any.
Starting point is 00:38:17 That's what I also realize. Like, don't offend yourself. That's kind of what. I'm sure Sebastian's like, all right, listen. I'm still going to sell out the arena. Right. I mean, people are going to still bring their grandmother to see me. Anyway, I hope everybody makes a million dollars.
Starting point is 00:38:29 but, you know, I'm sorry to see anyone lose out of money, but we all lose out of money. Like, we made money you in Chelsea lately, and then we lost, you know, we found something else. You kind of have to do that. Starting point is 00:39:09 Okay, Shane Gillis, I talked about his, what he talked about on the S&L opening, and I just saw the clip of the monologue, and then I saw that, you know, people were very angry that he said. Now, what he said was, I go to the gym, and I see these booty shorts and the wrinkles, like, the little wrinkles up the butt, but cheeks. And he's like, so what, so women are just dressing like horrors now? That's what we're doing.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Okay, something like that. But he said dressing. He didn't say women are all horrors now. No, he said, yeah, women dress like horrors at the gym. So a lot of people came after me a little bit
Starting point is 00:39:47 because on the last show, I just said, you know, these were the beats of the bit. And, you know, is it the most clever thing in the world? No, but the way he told it,
Starting point is 00:39:59 I thought it was funny. Like, I thought it was funny. I laughed. I thought it was funny. And it's comedy. Maybe it's not the best. Maybe he wanted to do something edgy that would get everybody riled up.
Starting point is 00:40:07 I don't know. But people are just, like, mad that I wasn't. I'm like, look, it's different. It's stand-up is different than if he was standing on the steps of a courthouse. Like, it's just, that's what it is. It's just him doing stand-up. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I mean, I just felt it was kind of like a lazy. bit, you know, for the monologue of Senni Live, which is a pretty big deal. I just felt it was... I'm not all that familiar with Shane Gillis' material. Of course, I know he's the biggest comic in the world right now, but I don't know his material all that well. I know people love him. I mean, the only thing I think of is maybe this is the tamest stuff, and he didn't want to,
Starting point is 00:40:51 and he had to come up with the tamest stuff, or he wanted to come up, he didn't want to give his best stuff on S&L. he wanted to save it for his whatever road show. And then maybe he wanted people to get riled up. Maybe he wanted to use the word horrors and sluts and stuff to get everyone talking about it. I mean, I feel like shock comedy is nothing new. Right. So.
Starting point is 00:41:12 I didn't think it was shocking, though. No, it's not that. I didn't find that shocking. I just honestly, the horror part, not to sound insensitive to people who are offended, but I felt the- to be offensive to horrors. You know what I mean? Like, I felt the other stuff was like, what, it was just like a week. joke. Yeah. That's all I thought. You know, he didn't, I mean, I felt like it was a guy just riffing and it was
Starting point is 00:41:34 almost like an open mic. Yeah, it was a riff. I don't think it was the kind of like, oh, I'm pissed that girls are wearing skimpy clothes. I think he's just saying like, it's kind of a hard position to be in because it's true. Yeah. Women have an incredible bodies, the workout clothes. I mean, listen, they were skimpy back in there. I remember when I was at USC, I would wear the biker shorts with a leotard with a G-string over the, over the shorts. Oh yeah, yeah. Like, like Jamie Lee Curtis and perfect. Yeah. And then I remember they, they standards of the sorority were like, yeah, you got to wear like a sweatshirt around you if you're going to like walk to the gym like that. Yeah. And I was like, really? Okay. I thought everyone could wear it. Like I kind of was like, oh, this is like a talkable
Starting point is 00:42:18 moment. Okay, fine. But I mean, I just think, I just think, listen, it's stand up. And, But in this day and age, anyone can comment on anything and you have every right to say. It wasn't funny. It pissed me off. I hate him. I'm going to make a video and get 300,000 views of it. You have every right to do that. So just go do it.
Starting point is 00:42:39 But if you really are in a comedy club, and you picked apart every sentence that comics were saying, then things could be very offensive. That's why it's hard for me to have a comment on this because in stand-up, you have to throw everything at the wall and see what's the... A lot of it's going to be shit. And if something is offensive in the hour and 10 minutes, yeah, take it out of, but if you listen to the whole hour and 10 minutes, you, the person, the comic has told you enough other jokes and things that you know that they're not a horrible racist person, like, or a misogynistic person. You just know that they are coming from an angle of their perspective and whatever. And it's like, but, you know, sure, be mad. Think he's a pig. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:43:21 I don't care. I mean, I'm, I'm actually surprised at the. numbers that Sun Night Live still gets. Like, I feel like this was a big, I saw ratings and it was pretty, pretty big. I guess Sunni Live still holds some, some heat. I think, you know, I think he brings, he's a big comic. Yeah. And they were like, oh, why did you bring him back?
Starting point is 00:43:43 This guy sold out Eagle Stadium. It was like 75,000 tickets or something. I mean, so they know that there's a group of people that know him that will turn on S&L just for that night. And that is why they're picking him. Versus some little starlit. Like those, they're, who's going to, the thing is, who can they bring in that's actually going to turn on their TV that night and not just watch a clip?
Starting point is 00:44:09 That's who they should probably focus on. And that's going to be people a little older and a little more center. Well, in a couple of weeks, they just announced that they're having their first influencer ever Hosedi Alive. Who is it? Drusky. You know, that guy, Drusky. Brilliant.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Yeah. he's hosting. I was just thinking he should. Yeah. He, I mean, he's an influencer, but he's,
Starting point is 00:44:30 he did everything that SNL, Matt TV, and he did it on his own. And he's brilliant and funny, and I think that is a perfect choice. Yeah. So,
Starting point is 00:44:40 I mean, better than an Alex Earl or something. At least they're picking someone that's an influencer who's an actual comedian. Right. You know, so good for him.
Starting point is 00:44:49 Okay, well, speaking of standups who were huge at a time, I started to watch funny money. You can watch it on Apple TV, you know, and like YouTube, if you pay. It's a documentary about how his brother, his half brother. Dane Cook. Dane Cook, so I never said his name. Dane Cook. His half brother stole like millions and millions of dollars. And, you know, it's very well done. It starts out,
Starting point is 00:45:18 you know, look, he wants to, it's his documentary. So it starts out very much his whole life, which Listen, if you and I are going to have a documentary, you're going to see my little St. Mel School. You're going to see my bus benches with my parents. You're going to see all the things that I've already put in my books. You're going to see that I struggled. And this was my first flyer and stuff like that. But I'm always just like, I wonder if that's like not interesting to someone who's not
Starting point is 00:45:46 a comedy person. Maybe it is. Does he do that in this? Yes. It's a lot like the first 40 minutes are kind of like where he got. And the thing that I always remembered about his story that, was so interesting is I remember reading in the LA Times because it was like he just bursted and was like, who is this guy? And because he was like cute and like kind of my age, I was like,
Starting point is 00:46:06 who is this cute like tall guy? And in it, he said how he is where he is because he was like the first comic to get on MySpace. MySpace. He's the first person to use like the internet to get people to know where you're performing, not, not waiting on someone, you know, promoting it like old fashioned. I remember. I remember people losing. and their minds for him. Yes. Yeah. And then I remember watching the special and I was like, wow, this is, this is it.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Like, no offense, Dane. I was just kind of like, wow, this is the hype. But it did think he was cute. It did think he was appealing so I could see why he was getting cast and stuff. Now, I do have a Dane Cook story. Okay. Now, I, maybe I was a little sensitive to this. So now I'm looking back and I'm going to give it a little grace.
Starting point is 00:46:50 But I was, I had my special coming out on showtime. It was 2014. Tom Green had like some weird talk show that I don't know where you watched it but it was a talk show. Yeah, the Tom Green show or something. But it was like it was like after the Tom Green. Like he went away and this was like his attempt to come back. But it was like a real set. And I was there to promote the special.
Starting point is 00:47:13 And Dane Cook was there. And I remember either I took Dane Cook's date and then Dane's next special was coming out in October and mine was coming out in August. And I go, oh, you have a special coming out on showtime. He's like, yeah. I'm like, so do I. I think they still were editing yours or something, so they moved mine up and like yours. And he's like, really? Wow.
Starting point is 00:47:34 They're just getting everyone specials now, aren't they? Oh, really? Wow. Now, do you think that he was being sarcastic or do you think he was really trying to hurt my feelings? I would say he was being sarcastic. He's kind of a nice guy. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:51 I just kind of was like, well, it was my first special, but I also knew that, people hated Chelsea Lately people that were comics. They did. Because if they couldn't get on it, they were like, what the fuck? And they would go into a club and they'd see someone like me, headlining or you. And they were like, they didn't do the hard work that I did of going on the road for 10 years. And so they were mad. And I was just like, okay.
Starting point is 00:48:17 I mean, you know, it's kind of like what people feel like, oh, a TikToker sells out and whatever. Yeah, I remember. I remember. There were still some, there were some clubs out there that. would just not even book Chelsea Lely people. Really? Heliums. I remember Heliums being very anti.
Starting point is 00:48:32 I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I play them now, but it took a while. That's interesting. So I don't know. And, you know, it's just, again, there's certain guys that just don't think, like, back then that girls,
Starting point is 00:48:46 or they were getting it because for the wrong reasons or because if you looked halfway decent, like clearly you couldn't be funny or whatever. But his storytelling is, really good and it's really sad and he's with his young wife. Yeah. Is a juicy story? Are they still together?
Starting point is 00:49:01 Yeah, she's in it. How much younger is she than him? She doesn't look overly. She looks like very, she's like very natural in this. Well, at the time, I think she was like 19, but now she's probably- married when they, when she was 19, but he used to have these parties. Remember when during the like Me Too thing, a lot of stuff came out, how he'd have these parties with these really young girls and she was one of them.
Starting point is 00:49:23 But he didn't date her until she was eight. but she was like coming to the parties allegedly. Oh, really? Where they'd be like, yeah, they'd be playing like Monopoly or something. I don't know what it was like poker and like a young girl. There was just, he was into the young girls. Shoots and ladders, what were they playing?
Starting point is 00:49:36 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, man, yeah. I don't. I mean, listen, I understand why like a 50-year-old man wants to be with a 22-year-old. I don't. I really don't. I really don't.
Starting point is 00:49:45 I, going back to Vegas when I walked into that pool party, I was like, there's nothing that can interest to me less than a bunch of 19-year-old girls. it's it's well I think it's a certain no it's a certain kind of guy though oh okay I guess I'm just not one of them I'm not saying I'm a saint I think it's a certain kind of guy that just wants that relationship that's very much like
Starting point is 00:50:07 you know she never saw you struggle she goes where you're at she's going to be excited to go to your shows she's still you know she's not overgoing to them she's going to go there and be excited and then she's going to be so grateful that you're giving her her lifestyle. She didn't, she, you didn't come up with it together.
Starting point is 00:50:29 So I, so then for that guy, I just think it's like nice. Right. And he doesn't care to talk, you know, for hours on end about important things. Yeah. Like you'd rather just have like a cute girl that's like enthusiastic. Okay. For one or two nights. Sorry, that's, but for like a long relationship, I feel like talking's important.
Starting point is 00:50:50 I don't know. Ali Wong has this joke where I saw like a clip of her special and she's like, you know, when the guy, when your friend has the young girl. Yeah. And she's like, but then we,
Starting point is 00:51:04 the women of a certain age and mental capacity, we have to carry the weight of the evening. Oh yeah. Like we don't want to have to, we don't want to hear about her crystals and her yoga. Like we don't stick us in the room with her.
Starting point is 00:51:18 And then you want to come and bring her and then because you want to be stimulated by women that actually you can talk to. That's really funny. You go home and fuck this tummy. And we have to suffer. That's very fun.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I remember one time Peter's friend got divorced and he brought this girl to dinner and I was trying to be nice that I didn't want to be old bitter Betty, you know, that's like, I knew your wife, you know. I wanted to be like, hey, you know what? Everyone has a chance and you might be lovely to the kids. Anyway, we went to dinner and we were ordering food
Starting point is 00:51:48 and she did not know what C-Bast was. Oh, wow. I mean, I can see that. Not known what sea bass is at all. There's a new fish out that I, that I ordered and thought it was an a pasta dish. What's it called? Brough, bruh, it's with a B. Fuck, you know what I'm talking about? Brandzino. Brandzino. You know, yeah, so I'm like that. Brandzino was a pasta dish? It sounded like a pasta dish to me. It does sound like a couple of years. In my defense, it was. Branzino has made a splash. I know. Brandzino was not around eight years ago. Neither was sea bass.
Starting point is 00:52:22 So. No, seabas was around eight years ago. It used to be called something else though. They changed the sea bass and it started. Seabas, halibat and Branzino are all kind of the same sexy white fish. Okay. But they go in and out of style. You know what who's totally dropped off the face of the earth?
Starting point is 00:52:36 Swordfish. Yeah. It's very rare that you see a sword fish. That's true. I don't like it. It's tough. Yeah. But anyway, go on about.
Starting point is 00:52:43 My mother loves tilapia. Mom and dad. That's the poor person. That's what I told my mother. Oh, it's delicious, Christopher. They get it at a, you know, Costco. Okay, well, we're going to say about your Branzino. So you ordered, thinking you're getting a...
Starting point is 00:52:56 It's a couple of years ago when Branzino hadn't hit big yet. Okay. Okay. So I saw Branzino and I honestly did. I mean, I know it's not like a complete idiot right now. But I thought it was some sort of pasta. That sounds like a pasta. Yeah, it does.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Branzino. Let me have a little Branzino. It's big of me. Yeah, yeah, it does. Anyway, it came in. It was a fucking fish. with like the, you know, the face. Yeah, and they have to like, debone it.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Yeah, yeah. Now, were you on a date or anything? Could you admit? No, it was like two of it was with my wife. Okay, so you could admit, I thought it was. Oh, my wife was mortified when it came. She goes, you didn't know it was fish? I'm like, I did not.
Starting point is 00:53:35 But she's like, rethinking her life. Yeah, oh, she was just like, well, now she knew I was a moron, you know, so at that point, at that point, all the secrets are gone. There's no going back. Yeah, right. Well, okay, well, he didn't end up with that girl that didn't know what the sea bass was, but I was just a little bit like, oh my God, like, I'm not out to talk to someone that's like, could be my daughter.
Starting point is 00:53:58 I don't want to go on a vacation with someone that could be my daughter. If I'm going to be with a 25-year-old, and a girl, it's going to be my daughter and my nieces. It's like, no. You want me to give you the specials? Ask me the tonight's specials at Mirabelle Restaurant that I used to work out with Megan Markle because we had the same special every single night and people didn't seem to notice. Okay. Do you guys have any specials?
Starting point is 00:54:21 Actually, tonight we have an excellent pan-roasted Chilean sea bass with a mango chutney and a coconut sticky rice. Oh, actually, I would love that. For real, that's like totally at length. It was fantastic. Yeah. Anyway, yeah. So I had to say that for about every single night for about 12 years.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Amazing. Now, there has been a lot of deaths at amusement parks. There was a new one just like yesterday that happened at the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags in Georgia. Yeah. And it's, you know, horrible.
Starting point is 00:54:53 And then there was the other one they stopped doing this one ride. What was the name of the ride they stopped doing at Six Flats in Valencia? X2. It was hurting people's backs and stuff, right? Did somebody die on it? Let me tell you the experience I had on X2
Starting point is 00:55:07 because I spent my life having to go to, my 40s were spent going to miniature golf, bowling water parks and amusement parks. Wow. From 40 to 50. Yeah. That was... Because of the boys.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Anytime I was not doing stand-up, that's what I was doing on a Saturday or Sunday. Because of the boys. You were like adult into that stuff. No, I never... Like, it'd been years since I... And then I went all the time. And then finally it got to a place where they were like, we're good. And I was like, oh, thank God.
Starting point is 00:55:37 And so, but we'd go hardcore and like double pass and fast pass and stay till the fire. fireworks and like anyway so there was this one that x2 and it was like a hand like it was like you kind of rolled you around and I was not ever really scared of amused rides and it's sweaty you know it's 110 degrees in valenciana and you know I like to wear my little shorts but a little chicken legs sure and I'm sweating so like a whore like a whore like a whore yeah um I like the word slutty as a word it's better than a horror yeah but but but you're better than a whore yeah But anyway, so I'm like literally slipping. Like slipping.
Starting point is 00:56:19 I could almost slip out of the chair because there was a space and I have these tiny little chicken legs. And it's sweating. And I remember after that I was like, I will never, ever go on that ride again. And that was the only one that I would sit out. I'd go on every other ride and they just closed it because they said like by the 20th lawsuit of people having brain damage. They're like, maybe we should stop this ride. I think they closed a second one now, too, at the same Six Flags Magic Mountain. I think it's called Magic Mountain, right?
Starting point is 00:56:49 Yeah. Yeah, they just closed two now. That one and the other one because of, I guess because of this, the next day. Now, how does this guy who fell out of it? I heard he fell out completely. Yeah, he did. I saw the photo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:05 So how does that happen? Like, is it something like that? They slide out? Like the little thing, like, snapped or was never down or, or, or whatever, you know how they check it. Right. Oh my God. And being, like, so scared of checking and having to check my kids.
Starting point is 00:57:17 And, like, oh, God. I wonder, like, if these will continue. I mean, some of the people who work there don't seem like that, you know, they're not really checking. They just rattle it and move on, waiting for the next hit of meth. They do this, that one. What's that one, Drake, that's, like, white, and it's right when you get to,
Starting point is 00:57:38 right at the beginning of Magic Mountain. And they kind of do that thing where they're, like, go, Okay, one, two, and then you take off. So it's like, so you're not full throttle. That one's kind of fun, I have to say. But then you, it's like, and then you go upside down and you really feel you're, just as you think you're going to fall out, then you've reached the other part. I have not been on a roller coaster in a long, long time.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I mean, I would never go again now. Like, what, like, I was always thinking they should have like massages and chiropractors, like at the place. Yeah. I would totally sit and go get one if that was the case. But it's very, lots of things happening. Okay, the girls, girls with Lena Dunham, is returning to HBO after 10 years with the original cast,
Starting point is 00:58:22 and they're just going to do like five shows, but they're going to be like themselves and their characters. I did see a little thing on Instagram, where they all pretending they're on like a Zoom call. And like, what are you doing this summer? You want to do it again? And then they bring in the other guy who was on Andrew Rannell, I think his name was.
Starting point is 00:58:38 He comes on and she goes, I'll do it too. but you know who doesn't pop up and say he's going to do it? Adam Driver. Yeah. He's a big star now. So I don't think he's coming back. I don't think they need him. No,
Starting point is 00:58:50 he was like the biggest part of it. I know, but he, but that's fine. He was a dick. Like he was a dick who then got with that girl and when she was with him. So it makes sense that he wouldn't be in their lives
Starting point is 00:59:02 and that he would have probably gone on. His character probably would have gone on and like married some probably, his character should be twice divorced. Yeah. And married. and then married some really rich and like living a very hypocritical life. That's what they should make his life be.
Starting point is 00:59:16 Or he does come back and it's a surprise and he shows up like John Corbett did with that weird jacket on in the section. What was it called? And just like that. And just like that. Which I bring up weekly. Have they learned nothing from it just like that? I feel like this is exactly the same thing.
Starting point is 00:59:30 Ten years later, another sequel. I watched this like 50%. Yeah. Like there'd be seasons where I didn't watch it and then I'd come and start watching it. And I was really. just so fascinated when it started because these girls were living in New York and I just couldn't get over how
Starting point is 00:59:48 they didn't wear under eye concealer they like looked so not put together because they're younger than I am and I just was like is that what young girls are doing in New York like coming from sex in the city coming from like glam and putting yourself together and they were like this younger generation that looked like shit like even if they were pretty
Starting point is 01:00:09 they like even this girl, like look at her. Like, not a speckle of makeup, mousy hair. Yeah. Well, I think it was like the anti-sex in the city. I think that was kind of its appeal. But I loved the writing and I loved the relationships and I loved the acting. But it would just, I would just have to be like, how is Lena Dunham like getting
Starting point is 01:00:31 these guys? And I'm like, well, she's the Woody Allen every time. She's just writing in hot guys and hot storylines for her. And she was so appealing and funny that. then you're like, yeah, of course a guy would be badly in love with Thirke. Just like you'd be watching Woody Allen and be like, yeah, I guess I would love a tiny little skinny, ugly thing that's 35 years older than I am because, yeah, Mara Winningham or whatever about Marriwanningham.
Starting point is 01:00:55 Marrile He's in love with him. But I'm excited to see it. I mean, she is a brilliant writer. It will be entertaining. And I will, I don't know it well enough to rip on it no matter what, the way. I did and just like that. And it is one of my biggest regrets of my life.
Starting point is 01:01:18 That I ripped on it so much that they quit. You wanted more. I would have taken 10 more years of how corny and bad and frustrating that show was. It brought me, the hate watch of it brought me, like, so much joy and joy to watch it with people I loved like you. Yeah, like I used to enjoy
Starting point is 01:01:38 breaking it down with you. It was a time that I'll never have back and that I truly regret. So if you are a girl's fan, yeah. Don't, and you have a podcast, don't do what I did. Don't just go on the phone with your friend and rip it apart.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Yeah. Because they might just go, fuck you. Have you had anything since that, or do you see anything on the horizon that could be a fun hate watch? The Bay Watch could be fun. Yeah. I mean,
Starting point is 01:02:08 but that's like we know what we're getting into. Yeah. I think Baywatch does it a little tongue in cheek already. I know I don't have anything that'll ever. I hope to God, please bring me something. And when it comes, I won't get to a place that I ruin their fun. If I ever see Michael Patrick King or Sarah Desk Parker, if I'm ever in the same room with them,
Starting point is 01:02:30 I will say that I will go up and I will say my biggest regret was ripping on that show for comedic purposes. I'm going to say this. one and you could agree or disagree, but I have a little bit of hate watch and it's over now, but for hacks. That used to give me cringes. You know what? I'm going to agree with that one. Yeah, especially the last season. I know people love it. The last two seasons. Yeah. There would be moments that I was like, that was clever, that was good, but it was getting really, it felt like they were rushing to finish it. Yeah. A little bit. And where are we going with this?
Starting point is 01:03:09 And, and like, yeah, her, when did it turn for you, when when she got her late night show? Yeah. Some of the jokes and some of the, like, I was like, oh, boy. And they were just always like, oh, so clever, so sassy. Yes, I know. Yeah, like, just, oh, I love a sassy lady. And I always feel that, too, and someone finds out in a comic,
Starting point is 01:03:28 they're like, I love female comics. Like, you just think that it's a certain kind of like, let me shove it to the man. Like, that's like my act. I'm like, that's not my act. Like a reader Rudner, like some old 80s comic. Yeah. Like I saw somebody, I saw like Tigs go after Shane Gillis.
Starting point is 01:03:50 And she was like, I mean, you know, Nikki Glazer. That's why Nikki Glazer is so great, you know. And I'm like, well, Nikki Glazer takes people's jokes. I mean, like, you can take people's jokes. Guys, girls, she's taking people's jokes. Whatever. Doesn't mean, she doesn't, every joke doesn't mean she's, a bad person, but she does. And so it's just like, but to someone just sitting at home,
Starting point is 01:04:12 they don't know, you know, and they're just like, oh, I love a sassy lady that just like gives you a singer. Yeah. But I'm excited for this. Me too. Okay, this girl, she is this only fans model and she's been found competent to stand trial for the alleged dating app and burglaries. She targeted old men and young girls. Yeah. Oh. I don't think to be like a lesbian. I think she tried to find young girls that had money and acted like, I'll be your travel companion and we can go do
Starting point is 01:04:46 fun things together and then would steal from them. And she was dating some like billionaire guy, right? Yes, that what was his name? It starts with a sea. I don't know. I think you ran for governor. Yeah, he was like her fiance or something. And so he's coming after her. He claims that she tried to give him
Starting point is 01:05:01 Kenamine when she was stealing from him. Oh, okay. And then they go, well, her name is Advva Lobby. But she also was known as Mia Ventura, Shoshana, and Shana. Yeah. Wow. She's got a. When you have multiple names.
Starting point is 01:05:15 Yeah. Oh, God. Let's just like, I like this. I wonder if there's enough to like make a doc out of this or see a story. I love. I don't feel like there's enough scripted shows about a female grifter. Or like a woman who like kills her husbands for money. Like multiple.
Starting point is 01:05:37 widow killer. Do you remember that nose job that she has, the one that everybody got a few years ago, that real thin kind of, you know. This girl's nose job? Yeah, it was almost Michael Jacksony type, and a lot of girls went and got that one. It seems to have gone away now, but that was a look a few years ago. Everyone got that thin ball on the end nose job. I feel like the look of the really thick fake lashes that you get the extended, the extended lashes, the really thick black ones. People are, there's a whole thing people getting their lashes removed and starting from scratch.
Starting point is 01:06:13 Oh my God. I, I hate it so much. Now, these I put on when I do the show. Yeah. But then I wash them off. So I've never had these things. Oh, yeah. And they're so thick and they just, and they're too like curled.
Starting point is 01:06:28 And then you add it with like the lips. Yeah. And the hair extension. And I feel that whole look is really going away. Well, I feel like every girl who works at like Cinebun has those at lashes. I don't know if they're like cheap ones or whatever, but it's just like, what's that for?
Starting point is 01:06:47 Who's that for? I think it's one of those things that just like when we would, when people would get addicted to like tanning beds. Yeah. I think it's just like you can't see yourself after. Like this girl goes, I'm so I can't, this is what I look like without my lashes. And she was this really beautiful. skin she was Asian like and she shows her boyfriend he's never sitting without
Starting point is 01:07:06 ashes he's like yeah you're fine like yeah right and everyone's like you're so pretty like don't worry about it but it's just I think it's just something that you get so used to seeing yourself with it's like the same thing when like a man like shaves his beard and his daughters are like crying and they're terrified because they're like yeah I've seen who is that you know it's just something and I think it's the same type of thing but that look is definitely going out oh so atuka Okots. I'm going to,
Starting point is 01:07:33 fuck her name where I was going to get mad at me. She's comedian. How do you say her name? Okatsuka? Yeah. Yeah. She's kind of a big comedian. She's a big.
Starting point is 01:07:42 I don't think she's big enough to be doing this type of stuff, though. I mean, she's an international comedian. You would totally recognize her. She's very funny and she has very unique black like bowl haircut. Yeah. Anyway, she did the cheerling routine with the Rams. Yeah, Monday football last night, right?
Starting point is 01:08:00 But is that going to be a thing where, like, my question is I remember who do I need to fuck to get on the Rams Churley squad James Corden did it once too and it was
Starting point is 01:08:10 Yeah remember that Remember when James Gordon did it? Yeah When is it coming out Well he's done now I feel like I feel like he's fit Like you don't see him much anymore
Starting point is 01:08:20 I mean when is he coming out Oh I know that I know what you mean I don't think anyone cares anymore He was a person He had a horrible reputation I know That's what kind of did him in
Starting point is 01:08:31 My favorite story that I ever heard was he was on a plane. No, no, it wasn't that he was on a plane. Oh, yes, it was. Okay, he was on a plane. And the way the person told the story was like so brilliant. They said he was on, they were on for, in first class with him. And this young mother had three kids and she was trying to get everything settled and settled the kids and all that. And he was being very, getting very annoyed.
Starting point is 01:08:53 And she's like, you know, and I'm thinking, yeah, it is annoying when there's kids all in first class, but like deal with a dude. Like whatever. And then she realized it was his. family. And he was like not helping his wife. And he was being annoyed. So she initially thought he was James Cornyn who was annoyed with like, but it was his own family. Yeah. I mean, those were different times when we were all into Carpool karaoke and thought it was cute and fun. I feel like we've taken a darker turn in the last couple of years where we don't go for that corny shit anymore. Didn't he choose to end the show too? I think so. I mean, I think the heat was on, you know,
Starting point is 01:09:31 Because remember there was a restaurant, a very popular restaurant in New York, that kicked him out or something and said he was banned for life. Didn't that, I know, that happened after? No, I think it was before. Maybe I could be wrong up the timing. I just wonder when people had like such an easy gig like that, and they're just like, I'm so tired of it. I just think there's got to be something better out there.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Like, who is, there should be, that should be like a sketch that they could do on SNL. And there's someone who pops in. And it's like someone from someone that did that same thing that regrets it. And it's like, hey, let me tell you something. You might just be a little tired. Like, give it a minute. You take a vacation.
Starting point is 01:10:08 You work 12 hours a week and make 19 million a year. Like, let's just take it down a notch. It's not so terrible. But yeah, because where is he? He did a bunch of like movies and things. Oh, yeah. He was in cats. But there's something about just having that strong audience that's like into you every day.
Starting point is 01:10:24 I mean, I know with the juicy scupers. Okay, I saw this, this Tyler Perry thing. So Tyler Perry, I guess, had a couple of movies come out. He's got a million. Well, because he does them in like 18 hours. Yeah. What these people say? I was watching these people being interviewed.
Starting point is 01:10:40 And they're like, what was the filming schedule? And they're like, it was insane. Yeah. He did the whole movie in like four days. I've never, right? And we got paid by the day. So you're welcome. Tyler Perry.
Starting point is 01:10:51 Like, there's a reason why he has his own studio and mansion or whatever. But this latest movie, people have been like, have you ever noticed in the Tyler Perry movies that, it's always like this woman and she has like three kids from three different baby daddies but she's also like an incredible nurse and she's got like a mean mother she's to take care of but then while she's the nurse she meets the janitor and he's going to show her like this is what loves that and he ends up marrying the janitor and they're like that's always the storyline for the women in the Tyler Perry moves it's never she meets the doctor yeah and he sweeps her off her feet
Starting point is 01:11:30 and whatever, and they open a clinic. Like, it's always like a woman, and then, like, another one was like, this woman worked at a prison, and she ended up with a prisoner. Like, it's always that she, like, falls for the guy that has nothing to offer her, but he's kind of nice.
Starting point is 01:11:46 And the three other men that she was with before were so awful that she'll take this loser that's kind of nice. And they're like, why does Tyler Perry write for women like that? Huh, that's interesting. I don't know if I've ever seen a Tyler Perry movie outside of, like, the Medea ones.
Starting point is 01:11:58 I guess that, I mean, I guess people have proven that that's kind of the storyline of like, you know, like I watched this other one where this guy's toasting and it's another Tyler Meraera movie. They're like, he's toasting the family and his kids are the adults and he's like, I'd like to toast to your mother. We've been married for 25 years. Now, I have cheated so many times on her and, you know, it's just the way it is and I feel really badly. And everyone's like, dad, dad. And then she's like, well, I've cheated to and they're like, what is that? Like, it just. That was a Tyler Perryman? That was like one of the latest Tyler Perry movies.
Starting point is 01:12:32 Yeah. Wow. That was kind of weird. Speaking of movies, did you see Digger? Did you? I did. Oh my God. Okay, so everyone's saying it's a box office bomb.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Well, it was. Tell me. I liked it. I thought it looked good from the previews. It is. I mean, but I could totally see why people wouldn't. It's certainly not for everybody.
Starting point is 01:12:55 But I went like opening day. Yeah. And yeah, I mean, I mean, I guess. she can give it away. You know, there was a couple of like, you're watching it and all of a sudden just completely switches. Yeah. Like you think it's a real movie and then it turns out it's not a real movie. Oh. So I was in. So that's the twist like? That's the big twist. The big twist, it's, it's a play and they're rehearsing the play. And you think you're watching a movie. And then it just, they just go cut at one point and they're all on stage. And Tom Cruise is just an actor playing that guy.
Starting point is 01:13:28 So then what happens? Well, they go back into, like back and forth from being an actor to being in the play, to being in the play. And so do you think you like it because you are a theater actor at heart? I think I like it because, you know, people always say movies aren't original anymore. Movies aren't really. You know, that's why nobody goes to the movie. It's the same thing over and over again. I mean, this couldn't have been more original. I mean, it was wild. So why do you think nobody went just because it's Tom Cruise? I think because it's Tom Cruise, but he doesn't look like Tom Cruise. I think I mean, like I think people are so dumb that like you have to
Starting point is 01:13:59 really lay it out. I also think it's interesting that you got to realize, because the Brad Pitt had a movie out too, which I also saw him and the dog in the woods. Yeah, how was that? It was okay. It was not bad. But both of these guys are like 65 years old now. So I don't think there's a younger generation out there.
Starting point is 01:14:17 We don't, because we know who they are. But there's a whole younger generation who has no idea, really, who Tom Cruise and Brad are. They could give a shit about those guys. So I think this is the first time they're realizing. Oh yeah. If they're not being Mission Impossible or Top Gun, nobody cares about Tom Cruise.
Starting point is 01:14:36 Well, I have a great movie that's coming out. What? It's called Breeder. Okay. And my niece is married to the writer-director, and he edited it himself, wrote it, been working on for eight years, went to a Tribeca Film Festival.
Starting point is 01:14:53 It's coming out in the theaters, and it's a horror film. Oh, when's it coming? Yeah. I think the 26th of October. Okay. Our films are doing very well right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:06 Yeah. And we're going to go to like a Q&A and they went, yeah. And the trailer, everybody was dying over the trailer because it's about this guy who thinks he meets this woman and he's trying to get money to finish a like a thesis project, whatever. Yeah. And he thinks he's going to help her with her breeding project where she is like breeding doodles or whatever. And then he kind of gets trapped in this place. And it's Dot from Glee, that actress. You would recognize her.
Starting point is 01:15:34 Yeah. She's a great character actress. And she's like, no, I'm breeding people now. And you are the perfect specimen to be like the stud. I'd watch that. And he kind of gets trapped there. And this is, you know, and what's a great thing about Alex, her husband, it's like, he was not an apple baby. He wasn't a Hollywood kid.
Starting point is 01:15:54 Yeah. He, like, just did every. learned how to do film himself, YouTube himself, all that stuff, and just never stop. Oh, you know what I do want to see, speaking of never stopping, is I Am Rocky movie.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Oh, it's going to be amazing. That is going to be so good. I play Rocky. That's the story of Sylvester Stallone and the guy playing him incredible. And it's him, the story of Sylvester Stallone,
Starting point is 01:16:19 writing Rocky and refusing to have him not. Because I always remember that like you know when I was like trying to sell like TV shows and stuff and they're like well what if someone else played you because no one knows who you are right and I was always like rocky said no to that you know Sylvester Stallone said no I am rocky but I was like no it's fine like yeah just take it right if it goes and if you never talked to me again and I get I remember one deal I did that didn't go past pilot writing but it was like yeah no matter what this is what
Starting point is 01:16:54 you're going to get every episode if they never want to see your face again. Right. And I was like, no problem. Change my life every which way you want to. I don't fucking care. It's a stupid sitcom. But he's stuck with it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:08 You didn't see the one about the, uh, um, to catch a predator. I haven't seen that yet. Is it great? I thought it was. I heard it was amazing. It's a, I do understand why Chris Hanson would be like what, why, why, why, why? Why are you doing this to me? It is kind of a strange attack on Chris Hansen for no reason, but it's definitely a watchable movie. You know what? Chris Hansen did my show years ago. I'm going
Starting point is 01:17:37 to put it out on Patreon this weekend. And because I want to listen to it and then I'll go see the show. Yeah. I want to, yeah, or yeah, go to Heatherbridgeall.com. Chris has an incredible Patreon. People love it. Yeah. Oh my. It's called cover to cover. My podcast and I'm a Patreon. but the patrons where the juice is. Yeah. And Chris, where are your next shows? Oh my God. You're coming in Florida, right?
Starting point is 01:18:00 This week. Yeah. So what? You're going to edit this on Thursday? On Friday night, I'll be in Gainesville, Florida. Gainesville, never been there before at a place called the Signal Lounge, Gainesville, Florida. If you live in there, could you please buy tickets? Because this is one of those clubs that's harassing me about ticket sales, like every day.
Starting point is 01:18:18 And it's so annoying that they do that. But anyway, I'll be at the Signal Lounge in Gainesville, Florida. So please come. It's like a little small bar. Then I'm doing before I go to Tampa. The next night, Tampa, side splitters, one of my favorites. I love it. Six o'clock shows pretty much sold out.
Starting point is 01:18:33 But there's still some room in the eight o'clock, which I took kind of last minute. I don't know why I did. But anyway, eight o'clock. Eight o'clock will work out. Tampa, Florida. Come down and see me. I'll be there. And Gainesville, both of them.
Starting point is 01:18:44 So, Chris, I have some exciting news. I recorded a brand new juicy scoop song. A portion of it will be the intro for every show. Oh, okay. It's a whole new era. So the old one's out. The old one will be retired for now. And it's a full real dance hit song that I played at the clubs and all the wait staff
Starting point is 01:19:07 after hearing it a couple times absolutely had it stuck in their head. I mean, I'll be honest with you, you already played it for, I just heard it. Yes, what do you think? I thought it was really good. It's pretty fun. It's pretty great. Listen, it's because we had to do all the things so you can listen to it, there is a pre-level link that you can link right in the description here and of wherever you're listening to it will have
Starting point is 01:19:30 that link and then you'll be able to download it when it drops next week and I really help you do that because how great will it be for me to say I have like a number one musical hit right and you could you know they have different kind of charts so you could put it on like one of those charts where it could go to number one it could like it's the dance club chart I'm just asking people to download it if you want to buy it, you can, but you just, just download it and listen to it. And there's some really funny lyrics in it that's very relatable. So, you know, you could make a TikTok out of it, whatever. And it really is me singing. And I really did sing it and co-write it with an incredible music producer named Drew Lewis. And I found him because his mom is a juicy scooper. And she was
Starting point is 01:20:15 like, this is, you know, you should contact Heather. She's looking for a producer. And he was wonderful. And I love it. I love it. I love it too. It's pretty good. I think, yeah, maybe I could, because my daughter's really into like a do a leaper right now. Doesn't it kind of sound like, it kind of sounds like that or a little bit like it's a little like, like furgy-ish. Yeah. Back in the day.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Like, yeah. It's kind of that style. See, I already got the beat in my head. Because when I first talked to him on the phone, like he's, I said, would you so want me to sing for you. So that I sang for him. Oh boy. Like over the phone? Yes.
Starting point is 01:20:49 Like what did you sing? Son, I'll come out tomorrow or what are you saying? Well, that's what I did. I just said, just so you know, like, this is my range. Yeah. And so that he could write it in my range. And then, and he knew that I could, like, carry a tune. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:02 And then he probably did some stuff to it. We did. It's a little bit of that enhancing, but it's not AI. It's not Housewife AI at all. It's like you'll, when everyone hears it, they'll, you'll be able to recognize that it's me singing it. It's pretty good. It's pretty fun.
Starting point is 01:21:18 Thank you. How did you feel in the recording series? You felt like a, like a real rock star? We, okay, so long story, not short, whatever. McKinsey actually knew him because they live in the same area of Hollywood. And so she came and she's filming, she filmed the back, like behind the scenes. We're in this small studio room and I am like, practicing it. And there were some moments where I was like, oh my God, like that sounded horrible.
Starting point is 01:21:42 And so she's going to make a little like behind the scenes video. And we'll do like a little music video too. So we don't have a lot of time. But it'll be up and available October 22. On all the places, Spotify's. On all the places. Okay. YouTube, the Pandora, the Spotify, the, all the things.
Starting point is 01:21:58 Very exciting. And they get it out into the clubs, you know? Maybe you could start hitting the road as a singer. Oh my God. You play like gay pride festivals and stuff. I would love that. My whole goal is to be paid not to do stand-up. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:13 To go out at night. Right. And be like a housewife who just does a song. Yeah. Or does it, or to start DJing or puts my song on. the DJ thing. Like, yeah. No, but I did play at the end of my shows.
Starting point is 01:22:27 And the, yeah, and everyone really, really liked it. I was like, I'm just going to let you guys listen to it until people can actually, like, download it or whatever. Very exciting. Anyway. I mean, if I don't have to hear my daughter, she sings this do a leap of song called New Rules. It was one of her earlier hits. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:44 And it's about like her, I don't know, breaking up with this guy, she got new rules. And the chorus is you can't get over. him if you're under him. And my daughter, yeah, my daughter sings that a lot. I don't think she knows what it means, but, you know, and it's a good message, honestly, for her in future relationships. Okay, so there was a, like, a talent show thing that we're doing at Louisville, the all-girl Catholic High School. And my sister and this other girl, Lucy and I, Lucy was in between my sister and I, we wanted to audition and do this lip-sinking thing. Okay. Okay. And so, you know, and so, you know, So I chose the song and we, you know, I'm listening it.
Starting point is 01:23:26 Stop. Listen, stop. Writing out all the lyrics. There's no way you could just go pull me up the lyrics. Yeah. You know. And we're getting all ready to go do it. And we have like all the laundry on.
Starting point is 01:23:36 We're doing, I'm a sex shooter shooting love in your direction. Yeah. I remember that song. And my dad finds like the yellow pat of paper. And he's like, this is what you guys are doing. And we're like, yes, it's fine, dad. it's Prince is producing What was that girl's name that was in it?
Starting point is 01:23:56 It was Apollonia. Apollonia and Shilly and all those people. So I remember we like did it and I think they just decided like not to have the event. Yeah. But we were literally in like tights and everything and we were just doing that the same moves to the movie. I'm a sex shooter.
Starting point is 01:24:15 Shooting love in your direction. Do do do do do do do do do do. I need you to give it all I'm of slave being ready to be controlled Like whatever that stuff was yeah Yeah everybody every you know comedian Wanted to be a singer and actress I think so yeah first yeah right
Starting point is 01:24:34 But then we realized we had a weirdness about us That we should explore Yeah and then you wind up Because a lot of people can sing and dance and act Yeah, are more attracted than us Yeah but if you're just to have a little of that But you're good at being funny Yeah
Starting point is 01:24:49 So instead of playing like stadiums, the Signal Lounge in Gainesville, Florida, Friday night. Of course. And it's all good. What a life we've led. Exactly. Cover to cover. Cover to covers the podcast. Chris Frangelo.
Starting point is 01:25:04 I got a new co-host that everyone loves. Oh, good. Carlos. Good. I love it. I don't know if I told you about this. Yeah. I came up with this idea.
Starting point is 01:25:12 I don't know what I was thinking. I wanted to do, I wanted to do something to get people out of the house. So I'm doing a cover-to-cover bar crawl through the valley for my fans. Oh, fun. Yeah, it starts at 5 p.m. Saturday, November 21st. What spots are you going? You figure out what spots? I don't know if I want to say it on here because, you know, I'm going to get a lot of your...

Saturday, November 21st, at 5 p.m. it begins in Sherman Oaks. at my friend's place. You know the spot. Of course. And that's where we begin. And then we move across the street and we move down to one other place.
Starting point is 01:25:55 Five to eight, I want to get people out of the house and get them enjoying life again. Okay. No charge. Everybody gets a free t-shirt. I made 25 t-shirts for the first 25 people. Get a free t-shirt. I think that's totally fun and so great. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:26:11 It's a great idea. I was insane for it. And others said, I'll be there. I went on a cruise with people. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:26:23 And. But you were, you were, that's a couple of days. It was a couple days. I'm just saying, I'm just saying you, I used to take people out to lunch. I remember that. I mean, it's, it's a fun, it's a fun thing to do. And you should try to see if it works for you. And then you can see if it was great or if it wasn't, but it will be fun for the people
Starting point is 01:26:41 who go. I made very, you might feel overwhelmed with. A lot of people ask if you were attending. I said, I don't think. You never even told me about it. Oh, I'm telling you now. But I don't, I don't, you, you, I feel like it would be too much. Why?
Starting point is 01:26:52 I'm the person who took people out to lunch on a weekend. All right. Well, anyway. Strangers bought their lunch. If you're in the neighborhood. Yeah. Maybe I will be. So yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:02 But the week before, we're going to be in San Diego together. I know. That's why I couldn't do that week. I wanted to do that week. But you and I'll be an El Cajon. Yes. At the Magnolia. And it's going to be really fun because our stand-up is amazing.
