Starting point is 00:00:00 I know I have told you about how I love shopping with Quince. I love my items. I have 14 carat simple jewelry. I feel like it's quite luxury. I'm stepping up my game like a classy lady. But also I've heard from Juicy Scoopers that are very happy with their Quince items as well, because Quince offers a range of must-have items like 100% European linen under 50, luxury silk skirts, and of course, Italian leather bags and like what I just said, the 14 karat gold jewelry from get this only 30 bucks. All their prices are 50 to 80% less than similar brands. And because Quinn's creates timeless classic styles, they don't go out of fashion. This is not, you know, cheap fashion
Starting point is 00:00:41 that you throw away. These are items you will have for years, like my satin skirts and my silk tops, and oh my gosh, this beautiful lavender blouse I just got. I know you're wondering how they do it. Well, Quince partners directly with top factories to cut the cost of the middleman and pass the savings on to you. Starting point is 00:02:19 to the number one tabloid real life podcast. Listen in, listen up, whoop, whoop, Heather McDonald, Juicy Scoop. All right you guys, let's get into it. JLo on Friday announced that she will no longer be doing her summer tour. Page Six says, Heart sick Jennifer Lopez canceling tour to spend time with kids amid Ben Affleck split and speculation. I saw this and everything clicked for me. Now I may feel differently. I'm not always right about things, but I'm reporting it as I see
Starting point is 00:02:59 it. I have felt that the publicity around their alleged issues has been very suspect to me as someone who studies pop culture and how this works. The fact that these stories were coming out but they were still being seen, being photographed, and they were like all these little things being let out. One was that they didn't go to the graduation for Violet together, and then the next thing, no, they actually did. They were looking for separate homes.
Starting point is 00:03:30 No, it was just investment properties. We know that her whole thing with This Is Me has not been the success that she thought, and she put her own money into it, $20 million, whatever, to have this, this music video thing with all the different vignettes and then the documentary where then a lot of people on TikTok and whatnot made fun of it. But anyway, and then the ticket sales were very low for these big arena tours that she was doing, which then caused people to think that maybe it's not a good idea for her to have this Vegas residency where she'd make a million a night.
Starting point is 00:04:09 So first of all, I hope they stay married. I hope that she does have a wonderful summer laying low and hanging with her kids. The kids are young and they hang out as a family and fall back in love because that's more important than tour or saving face. However, the story of all of this and her tour dates not doing that well has been evident for a while. And we knew about it when we started to hear the rumblings that they were struggling. And sources are saying this and all of this.
Starting point is 00:04:44 So I don't think they're actually struggling. And sources are saying this and all of this. So I don't think they're actually struggling. I think that they're fine. And I think that they played this up knowing that then when she if she kind of gave herself a deadline, like if I don't sell this many tickets by this amount of time, then we are going to cancel it. And we're going to cancel it. And people will immediately assume I'm working on my marriage and I will gain respect for that and that'll be the end of it. Because listen, people cancel events, especially these big ones, because it's they don't want to come out and perform for a half full house or less. Especially in a big arena like that. Like if you're doing a small club and it's 300 seats and only 120 people come and they're
Starting point is 00:05:29 right there like a comedy club, it's fine. You still do it, you still have fun or it's a small jazz club, that's fine. But when it's like a vacuous arena, it's an already video came out of a recent show she had where we saw how many empty seats. Now, the crowd was loving her and she was killing it. But this is just probably not what she wants. And she's probably like, why the fuck am I doing this? I don't need the money if it's not going to be a sellout thing.
Starting point is 00:05:55 I don't want to do it. I'd much rather stay with my kids and Ben. And this is this is a gift from God that it was a bust because now I can work on my family. But that is what I think. I really don't think that their marriage is in that much trouble now. And I think this was a really good publicity plan to get out of these dates and save some face. But it's not that good of a plan because I figured it out.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Okay, I had such a fun time. Thanks to a juicy scooper, I got invited to a fabulous party on Thursday night. Netflix had this like award show for the reality stars and we talk about it in today's interview with Alex Hall and we did it about a week ago and I told her, are you gonna come? Unfortunately, she didn't come.
Starting point is 00:06:43 But I was excited to go to this because I like to go to any party with past apps. I had no idea it was going to be even something I love more, which was we went to one of the agency's $52 million listing that's featured in buying Beverly Hills. That is where this party was held. On a beautiful sunset, 6.30 in the most expensive zip code of LA, which is Bel Air. And so we start going to this thing and I'm like, oh my God, Peter, we keep going up and up and up. This is going to be so good. And it was so fun. And it was to celebrate all their reality shows. One I didn't, one
Starting point is 00:07:26 I'm bummed I didn't talk to Ryan from Million Dollar Listing New York. He now has a whole other show on Netflix called Selling Manhattan or Buying Manhattan, something like that. And I did not realize that he was launching a new show that's coming out soon. But they had the Love is Blind girls there who I met and that was really great. And then they're giving out awards. They had all the Selling Sunset OC people. Jason Oppenheimer won an award
Starting point is 00:07:55 and it was like fun and casual. It was all outside and everyone looked gorgeous and all the realtors were dressed in completely inappropriate outfits, not good for showing, but I loved seeing them. And it was really fun to see so many people there of the shows that we love, and they were all nice. And I was kind of more like, for some of them,
Starting point is 00:08:17 I was like, so what now? Like the love is blind people. They all live in South Carolina, in Charlotte. And I'm like, what are you doing now? And I guess there's another show coming out where some of them were utilized, which they should. They should utilize the star people. But I'm like, this must be so great.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Like, a year and a half ago, you weren't doing anything. And now you're like literally in a $50 million house, all modern, chic, the infinity pool. It was a good time. Then I came home and watched the breakup of The Summer House with Carl and Lindsay. This relationship has been so incredibly fascinating to watch, I know I've not talked that much about Summer House,
Starting point is 00:08:57 but watching this relationship, so this was a couple that came on the show years ago as platonic friends. Then they were best friends, then they fell in love, and then they got engaged. And honestly, I didn't really believe that they were a real couple originally. I thought something else was going on with him. But then it kept going on and they filmed and they were planning their wedding. And then this whole season is leading up to their wedding and he basically cancels it, I think just like two months before
Starting point is 00:09:32 it's supposed to happen and breaks up with her. And they absolutely should be broken up. I mean, if there was ever a couple that should not be married, it's these two people. But I guess in the past, and I haven't watched it religiously, she comes off sometimes could be kind of bitchy or unlikable. But his whole thing is, I mean, these people are pushing 40. And he's like, I got to figure out what I want to do career-wise, because doing Summer House, I guess, is not going to be a lifelong career when you're getting married and having kids.
Starting point is 00:10:02 And he worked for the other guy, Luke, doing stuff for his alcoholic brand called Loverboy. But then that didn't work out. So then he wasn't doing anything. And then he was like, I have an idea to do a sober sports bar in New York. I don't think there's a worse idea than opening up a bar that doesn't serve any alcohol and is playing sports in New York with the rent and how hard restaurants are. So, Lindsay was kind of like, I don't know if that's a great idea. And he's like, God, I just need you to be softer and be excited and be supportive. He's like, well, now I'm going to work for Loverboy again, making sober drinks, which I'm sorry, I just think a sober drink,
Starting point is 00:10:45 like, I mean, there is non-alcoholic beer and wine and I get it, but whatever, that's what he's gonna do. And she was like, okay, but like then what? And he's like, God, I mean, listen, you have my very support about my career and it's just, I said I would have a career, like I gave myself nine months to figure out what my career is going to be
Starting point is 00:11:03 and you should be supportive of it. I just want to say thank God they broke up. But also their communication was so interesting to watch. Like the way they were just so mismatched and their communication was so bad. But it was really like if someone was studying communication of couples, they should watch them and realize what doesn't work because, you know, he would try to get her to say something and then she would say it. It was just constant. They'd be like, I don't want to fight. I don't want to fight. They were just always fighting. And thank God they didn't get married. And his own stepdad who marries people is a pastor was like, I would not marry you. And since then, he had these really big white teeth. He's appeared to get bigger, whiter ones, or maybe he's lost weight. I don't know. He always
Starting point is 00:11:52 fancied wearing very skin tight white jeans and now they match his teeth. Just whatever. I just think it's a good call that they're out. And then one thing that he said was he did break up with her on camera. So, you know, he was a very good employee of Bravo to do that. And she was blindsided. And then he's like, I just know I'm gonna be canceled. I know the world is gonna rally around her
Starting point is 00:12:17 because I broke up with her, but he does not have to worry. The world is so happy that she's not marrying Carl. Everybody is like, thank God, girl, you can do better. But I could see why a guy would be nervous about that breaking up with someone on a reality show where, you know, 80% or 90% of the fans are probably female women. So it's very interesting if you haven't watched it. The rest of the stuff is like kind of fun, but that's really the only storyline I cared about.
Starting point is 00:12:47 And it was fascinating. He also, I don't know where he's gonna go from here. He's very open about his sexuality. He was on Watch What Happens Live after show and talked about how he had a threesome and engaged in a guy, you know, giving him a BJ and he said at the time he said it was the best BJ ever had then he said no I've had better now that I'm engaged to to Lindsay but then Lindsay said to
Starting point is 00:13:16 on the show that we barely were having sex or once every few weeks which probably means once every two months so who who knows? All those things, it's good that they didn't marry each other. Okay. I talked about Joe from Vanderpump making up these strange lies, and that is why Schwartz was like got the red flags and really moved apart. I talked about, it's sort of a trait of a grifter to make up lies, innocuous lies that don't matter. One of the other things I forgot to mention was Kristen Doty who originally brought her into the group. Her boyfriend Luke said, I was surprised that when Andy asked her, are you single? Who would you like to date or something? She's like, do you know Aaron Rogers?
Starting point is 00:14:00 I'd like to date Aaron Rogers. Luke goes, I thought that was really weird because she told me herself, completely unsolicited conversation. Oh, I do Aaron Rodgers hair. He flies me out to do his hair. And then Kristen goes, that's so weird because my friend, my actual friend, my another real friend, I do know who does his hair. And he flies she and her wife out. And this is all on Kristin's podcast to do. So I'm like, oh, this is such another grifter thing. She just took someone else's another hairdresser's life that's like one degree away from her and just like took her story for her own and set it. So strange. So I talked about it on my Patreon and then someone said, you got gotta see the girl that they're talking about's
Starting point is 00:14:45 Instagram, it's like Joe stole her identity. So I go to this girl's Instagram, her name is Rihanna, R-I-A-W-N-A, Capri. She has 420,000 followers, she does a lot of hair teaching, like she does like tutorials and all this stuff. And she's, you know, young and married to a woman and they have lots of fun stuff. And that is who actually Aaron Rodgers allegedly flies out to do his hair. So I started watching her videos.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Oh my God, not only does Joe look like her, but when this girl was explaining how to put in hair extensions, it's the way Joe talks. So I'm like, who the fuck, what? And it's like, just a little bit of that, not as much as Jo, but it's so interesting. And I decided to point it out, but she seems like a delight, and all of her photos look like Jo smiling.
Starting point is 00:15:38 All of them are mid-laugh, which is a lot of like, ah, like a lot of what Jo does, ah, okay, we are not really going out now. Like all that kind of, and so when she was doing the hair extension on one of the videos, she was like, you guys, your hair expands when there's water on it. That is what happens, the particles expand.
Starting point is 00:15:59 It's a crazy thing. And I had to point it out. And thanks to the Juicy Skipper that pointed out to me. One more thing on, and just like that, Che out. And thanks to the juicy skipper that pointed it out to me. One more thing. On, and just like that, Che Diaz's character, you know, was gone. And Miranda, played by Cynthia Nixon, talked about it and she just said it had run its course. The character's arc had run its course.
Starting point is 00:16:19 There was no other place for it to go. And that was the only reason. I'm personally sad about it because it was a love hate with her character. And when we would watch it, we were like more interested in her career with the failed pilot and the standup concerts and then having to work at a vet place as an assistant and live at her and well as a basement. To me, I wanted to see more of that, but they did break up.
Starting point is 00:16:46 And so maybe our dream of she and Steve getting back together will happen. Guys, remember to go to heathermcdonald.net only to buy your tickets for all of my summer dates. I will not be canceling them, so you better be there. And the next ones are Tampa and Orlando. That's June 19th in Tampa, June 20th in Orlando. Please come see me.

I have returned guest, star of Selling OC, the star of the show,
Starting point is 00:19:35 Alex Hall. Welcome back. So fun to be back here. So Juicy. What what episode? What season did I just watch? Three or four? Three. Yeah. Three. And this is with the Oppenheimer tiny twins. That's what I call them. I don't care. I love all the selling sunset shows. Actually, I guess there's like a selling sunset in like Tampa or something. I don't watch that one. That's not us though. That's not the selling, like our, like our franchise.
Starting point is 00:20:03 It's, it's, there's a selling selling, like our franchise, it says there's a selling franchise, but our producers are only doing Sunset in Orange County. Yeah. So they didn't do, wait. Yeah, I don't think, maybe they did shit. Actually, I scratched that. That could be totally wrong. But it's not Oppenheimer.
Starting point is 00:20:22 That's what it is. It is our production company. Real estate offices. That's where I got confused. It is our production company, but it's not Oppenheimer. That's what it is. It is our production company. It is Oppenheimer Real Estate Offices. Yes, that's where I got confused. It is our production company, but it's not Oppenheimer Group. Yes. And you came on Juicy Scoop maybe like a year ago, and there was a lot of controversy. There wasn't any controversy then.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I said, I predict that Tyler, who is the very cute guy who was married to Brittany Snow, the actress. I said to you, I predict this marriage is not going to last. And you're like, why do you think that? And I said, because I think Brittany Snow married a guy that she thought she was marrying a normie, and she was going to be the star. And he, because he's good looking, gets on the show that's a hit. And then he becomes a personality and the star. And he, because he's, you know, good looking, gets on the show, that's a hit. And then he becomes a personality and a star. And I'm not criticizing her. I'm just saying sometimes when you start a marriage and you think you know the roles and the roles
Starting point is 00:21:15 switch for whatever reason, can be with non-fame related, you know, businesses. It can be all of a sudden, your wife starts working out of the home and the husband and the like, vice versa. It just, the dynamic changes. And if the foundation is not super strong, then it can't survive. And, but some people thought you had to do with that breakup. Yeah, no, I mean, the story, so I think,
Starting point is 00:21:39 so I was here season one then, cause I do remember you saying that. So we've had two seasons since the last time I was here. And I remember that exact moment when you said that, because what I had already known was that they were getting divorced. Oh, OK. Tyler told us very early on filming season one that. Him and his wife were not going to it wasn't going to work out.
Starting point is 00:22:04 He had said, I think they tried to make it work. And I don't, I don't want to give too much. I don't know the exact details of it. I only know what Tyler shared. And at this point, I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. So I don't know if any of it was true. Oh, really? What? So let's hear about that later on. We could finish this part though. So he had said that she told him, if you do the show, we're going to get a divorce. And he chose the show. So. Wow. I mean, listen, I just did an interview with Dr. Drew, the, you know, he's a doctor of therapy and everything else. And I said, why do you think
Starting point is 00:22:45 that marriages don't work on reality shows? And he brought up a really good point. But when it comes to like housewives or the Valley of the Vanderpump, where then you relive the fight with your spouse, you know, seven months later, that could be a lot. But in this case, it is kind of true what I said is like she that's not what she gambled for. She thought she's marrying a cute surfer that could bring in some good real estate money. And I also think no offense to her, but I don't think her career is on a high, not saying it won't totally come back, but that's the way entertainment is. So when that could happen, you have some insecurities or some, you know, it's tough when your business is not going
Starting point is 00:23:26 the way it has in the past. And again, the relationships to be so strong for that. So I mean, there, I don't think there can only be very, very few relationships that survive reality television. I think it's not just the reliving the fight. I think it's also you're a different, your life changes so drastically when you're in the media for anybody. So if it's one of the spouses
Starting point is 00:23:51 or one of the significant others that's in the media and the other isn't, that's a whole culture shock. And you're dealing with watching this person who you fell in love with and you had these humble beginnings and it's either the fame gets to them or the lights. And people like privacy. It's about like, there is no more sacred relationship
Starting point is 00:24:08 than your family, right? Your spouse or your children. And when you put media in that, and you get, especially reality television, they're gonna dig and dig and dig and dig until... They want the drama, they want the theatrics. And I don't, it's, I mean, it's, never in a million years would I have thought
Starting point is 00:24:27 that being on a reality show would have made my dating life harder. And so many people that I come across and meet, they hate that I'm on reality television. They're like, what, are you willing to quit the show? If we, I'm like, what, wow. Because it's, yeah. Well, I'm absolutely not surprised. I think it's completely opposite with women. I think women are more attracted to a man that's on reality TV because it's just more natural
Starting point is 00:24:57 that girls, there's more women, there's more daughters of reality stars that love it want to be models. And then the boys are like, Oh oh mom, get the camera guys out of the kitchen. Like it's just for men and women, it just kind of works that way. But I mean, I think, yeah, I mean, like look at Vanderpump rules. Tom Sandoval has a new girlfriend. And she was dating Leonardo DiCaprio.
Starting point is 00:25:20 And she now was dating him and making out with them. And they're saying, I love you. And it's like, not that he shouldn't have another chance at love and not that it could work, but obviously the odds are stacked. But is she someone that not only, yeah, he's probably sweet to her and he's probably great in the sack and she gets to go see him sing his songs. You think he's great in the sack? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:43 I'm being nice. As if. I don't know. I'm being nice. As if. I don't know. Who knows? But I'm saying, is there a little bit in her, in the back of her head, whether she shares it with anyone or not, that like, hey, I'm an aspiring actress model.
Starting point is 00:25:56 The only way on Vanderpump is through sex. I would respect her more if that was her ulterior motive or subconscious thought process, rather than just going out. And I'm not here to judge anybody. I would respect her more if that was her ulterior motive or subconscious thought process, rather than just going out. And I'm not here to judge anybody. I've never met that man. I think the last time I saw an episode of Vanderpump Rules was in like 2011 or something
Starting point is 00:26:15 when it first came out. I just know I've seen clips because it's all over social media. And I mean, that guy, I mean, he makes me wanna crawl out of my skin. So it's hard for me to imagine some girl, but it is. And I mean, that guy, I mean, he makes me want to crawl out of my skin. So I it's hard for me to imagine some girl, but it is it's I think girls are more attracted to the light.
Starting point is 00:26:30 We're like flies, you know what I mean? We want to go towards the light. And men are like, especially men of a certain caliber of like, I mean, the housewives, Ramona Singer from Real Housewives of New York, I had a three hour lunch with her when I was doing shows in Palm Beach. And it's kind of what I had already heard, but she let me know that like, you know, once she got divorced, she very much wants to have a serious relationship and get married again. And it really took her, them not asking her back, and none of the women back for her then to find the right guy
Starting point is 00:27:02 and for that relationship, in her opinion and mine, to really last, because he's like a high caliber guy. He's wealthy and successful and very nice. Everyone likes him. But no, she goes, every good guy I met, she would go on dates and be like, God, praying that they don't Google her. Because a lot of them didn't know who she was.
Starting point is 00:27:23 She was just a blonde, outgoing New York successful woman that looked younger than she is and acts younger and everything. So most guys aren't like, I wonder if she's on the Real Housewives of New York. No, but when they found out they would be turned off. You go out to one dinner though. I mean, I haven't been on the big screen
Starting point is 00:27:41 for nearly as long as these women. And I can't even go out. I'm just a little nobody and I can't go to a coffee shop or to a restaurant, especially in Orange County, obviously because that's, you know, where most people are watching the show because it's in Orange County. But when I go out on the first day,
Starting point is 00:27:57 I'm like, oh my God, please, like, please, please, please, please, please, no one say anything. No, like I hope he doesn't know. I'll tell you what Ramona told me. And here's a tip for you. You know, when I met this guy, when I met my guy, No one say anything. Like I hope he doesn't know. I'll tell you what Ramona told me. And here's a tip for you. You know, when I met this guy, when I met my guy,
Starting point is 00:28:08 you know, we had such a great conversation on the phone and you know, he picked a really beautiful restaurant. And you know, sometimes when I want to change something, I want to like give a compliment first. And then, so I said, you know what? I really love that restaurant. It's really gorgeous and I really appreciate you thinking about how wonderful the food is.
Starting point is 00:28:23 You do her so well. But our conversation, it's kind of loud there. It's kind gorgeous and I really appreciate you thinking about how wonderful the food is. You do hers so well. But our conversation, it's kind of loud there. It's kind of loud. And I enjoyed our conversation so much. And when we meet in person, I'd rather have a little quiet setting. What about this place? And I chose a place that, you know, is not touristy.
Starting point is 00:28:38 And I didn't think people would be approaching me because, you know, when people approach me and these girls come up and they're like, oh, Ramona, I want a photo. And I'm like, you know what, I'm having dinner. And then they do a mean thing and said, I was rude to them. And I'm like, you know what, I deserve to have dinner. I love it. So you have to pick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:57 If you don't think the guy knows your scoop yet, maybe they all do, but if they don't, I would just choose a more chill place. Like I wouldn't go to the Quiet Woman. I wouldn't go to like, you know, I wouldn't go to Javier's. I wouldn't go to like places in OC that are known. Cause then now when fans of reality TV come to OC,
Starting point is 00:29:17 a lot of Juicy Scoopers, they don't have to do it. Their kids are older. They're not going to Disneyland. And they're like, I'm coming to LA. I want to go to the place that the Kardashian gets the salad I'm going to go through they're just I want an Air One smoothie yeah instead of going like on the coast they just go through the 101 to the 405 and then like and then we're going to have lunch at all the Vanderpump places in West Hollywood and then we're going to go to the OC and we're going to go to Javier's for lunch and Quiet Woman for dinner and they just want to see it because they watched all these shows it's like
Starting point is 00:29:44 when you go to New York and they're like, there's literally Sex and the City tour buses. It's like, it's gonna... We don't have that though. And we don't have, it's not tourists, it's locals. And like it's the waitress and the waiters and the people. And I'm very friendly. I always will take a photo.
Starting point is 00:30:01 And so it might even just be my energy because a lot of times people, I'll see them out of the corner of my eye and I'm like, okay, they probably have seen the show or it's just that I can feel my intuition and they'll walk by and we'll make eye contact and then we don't wanna bother you, but we love your show and then they're starting to walk away
Starting point is 00:30:18 would you mind, and it's always the husband or the boyfriend, she makes me watch your show, she's a test it, she really wants a photo with you, would you mind taking a photo, which I think is really sweet for a first date, maybe not great, but it is what it is. And the fans are so sweet and so nice and I can't, I mean, obviously without them, the shows don't exist.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Right, yes. But it's just that back to- Going on a date. Going on a date, not wanting, I'm like, please don't, even worse, don't watch the show. They're like, oh, I'm gonna watch. And the amount of photos I get sent to me, watching your show, I'm like, please don't, even worse, don't watch the show. They're like, oh, I'm gonna watch that. And the amount of photos I get sent to me, watching your show, I'm like, don't.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Please just get to know me first. Yeah, from the guy, yeah. And so I even had a guy that I dated, actually the guy that I was dating at the end of season three, he ended up moving. And we dated and we really hit it off and he was moving and he always knew that he was moving to London. And I said, well then why the hell did you ask me out?
Starting point is 00:31:08 Like that was stupid. And he said, well, and he had seen the show. He had already seen the show. He was blowing me up in my DMs on Hinge, on every, I'm like, leave me alone. And I finally gave this guy a chance and we ended up hitting it off. But I said, if you always knew why you were leaving,
Starting point is 00:31:22 why the hell did you ask me out? You know, I'm looking for something serious. And he said, well, I didn't think I was going to fall in love with you. I just thought maybe I would get lucky. And I'm like, that is so fucking rude. So these guys are taking people out, taking women out with horrible intentions. And I should have known it's my fault. But also like guys do like to brag, if they're 16 or 46, where they're like, look at who I banged. Look who I'm taking on. Look who's going to Cabo with me.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Which is not the guy that you wanna end up with, right? So I've got, my sensors are a little bit more sensitive now if you'll since going in the public eye, but it's just, I mean, it's been three seasons now and I still haven't fully wrapped my head around it. Well, let's talk a little bit about, this is like a more casual photo of you guys. I think it's so cute.
Starting point is 00:32:13 But we have some of the players here. So we have Tyler in the brown shirt. So we see in season two that you guys are flirting, you seem to be getting, you know, having a major connection and it ends with you kissing in the Jacuzzi at a hot tub at a party. And that's kind of how it ends. So then we see season three, which is available now, we come back and it's kind of like,
Starting point is 00:32:43 well, did you guys date after that? What happened? So it's always been a back and forth with Tyler. And Tyler, just to remind people if you're not watching, Tyler's the one who's now divorced or getting divorced from Brittany Snow. Yes. And it's always been,
Starting point is 00:33:00 I wish I had another, like a better story because even watching season three back, it's like triggering, you know, I don't know if that's the right word to use, but it brings back that feeling because I'm like being bounced around and that's what it was in real life for me. And I remember so many conversations that I had with him
Starting point is 00:33:18 where I just wanted clarity. I just wanted to know what was going on. I've never in my life. Like what was his intention or where, or are we gonna really try to be boyfriend, girlfriend or what? Exactly. And part of me up until very recently
Starting point is 00:33:32 really thought that he was kind of innocent in it all and maybe just had a horrible communicating or a lack of boundaries or no backbone or whatever it was. And I do think now that it wasn't any of those things. I think that he just didn't want to commit to me, which I didn't even, like I didn't even start this whole thing. He was the one who pursued me.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Yeah, you can tell that he's pursuing you. Season one, however they played it, I had literally zero interest in Tyler. His energy is so far opposite of what I'm normally attracted to. And he was not- Why, why? What's the difference?
Starting point is 00:34:14 Because he's just like meek. He's kind of, which that can be fine. I don't need somebody who's, you know, needs to be the center of attention all the time, all the time. But I wanted somebody with like a high level of confidence, somebody that's going to grab the bull by the horns, somebody who's gonna like provide, protect. Tyler didn't have, he's a cancer.
Starting point is 00:34:29 He doesn't have any of those qualities. And production heavily pushed the narrative that you see, which obviously when you're filming with somebody or you're working in an office with somebody, in a situation where I normally in real life would say, okay, this just probably isn't gonna work. Let's not see each other again. We're constantly having to see each other
Starting point is 00:34:48 and be filming and go on the boat and go in the parties and do the open houses. So what it was like for me is we would film and it would be one side of Tyler. And then the second the camera stopped, I got a completely different side of Tyler. What would you get? Nothing. Like what he didn't seem interested without nothing.
Starting point is 00:35:11 It would be, hey, like we made plans. Are we still going to do that? And it would always, he would always bail or he would always unless the cameras were going to meet you. Yeah. Unless the cameras were around. Yes. And so, but he always found like the perfect excuse. And then every time I would say, okay, this isn't gonna work, we'd have another scene filming together and he would reel me back in. And I was so, I mean, I'm a 34 year old woman.
Starting point is 00:35:37 I've not ever experienced this in my adulthood ever, nor is it something that I typically would engage in. And he always just had the right excuse. Or, oh, he would say it was me, like a push and pull, and I would back off too. But my truth is that I would only back off when the actions weren't aligning with the words, you know?
Starting point is 00:35:58 And so what's really crazy is we all see things from our own lenses, right? So my experience, my perspective was one way. And I didn't realize how everybody else was perceiving our experience. You mean the other cast members, other realtors? Yes. They only saw what they saw when we were filming. Which seemed you guys were really into each other.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Yes. Or when we would all go out together. And when we were in a group, Tyler was more like chill and relaxed. Guys, I've been talking about OneSkin. I absolutely love it. And then whenever, like, it was, he didn't want to be seen with me, one on one, out in public, even when we went to Dubai separately, I had a date, he had a date,
Starting point is 00:37:52 we literally got invited completely separately. What were you going to Dubai for? The grand opening of the Royal Atlantis. Atlantis the Royal. Oh, so that was that big influencer reality show, lots of people, I don't know why I was not invited. I don't know why the fuck I was invited. Well, can you throw my name in the hat? I'd like to go back.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I'm so jealous. Was that the greatest trip ever? Of a lifetime. It looks like amazing. You can't even put it into words. Pictures don't do it, justice. Who all got invited from Selling Sunset? Just me and Tyler.
Starting point is 00:38:20 And we didn't realize that we both got invited until two weeks before we left. Were we on the same flight or no? Yes, we were on the same flight. He took his brother, I took a date and- Did you take the London guy? No, that's before I met the London guy. Okay, all right. And it was an experience of a lifetime,
Starting point is 00:38:35 there was a lot of shit that happened, but it won't get into that. Why not? I mean, that was just a shit show. Well, because ironically, Tyler announced his divorce the day we were leaving for Dubai. Ironically, he ended up getting stopped by press outside of the airport entrance, which
Starting point is 00:38:54 was the same entrance I went into, and I didn't get stopped by any press. And then the whole time we were in Dubai, it was like COVID all over. He's like, stay six feet away from me. I can't be seen with you. And I said, I'm your, like, that's actually very hurtful. Like we're in this, in Dubai,
Starting point is 00:39:09 a million miles away from home and you're my, like my friend. So he was afraid that if photographers saw you guys together, that then that would give the narrative that you guys were dating when he was still married and that would make him look bad. Well, there was already, the day we got there, there was already a tabloid that said,
Starting point is 00:39:29 Alex Hall and Tyler Stannelin, you know, whisk off to Dubai day of announcing his divorce or something like that. Right. And I'm like, and me. Like a rendezvous between the two of you, not this paid influencer thing. Yeah, we're going to Dubai of all places.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Like, come on, give me a break. And at that point, I'm still going to Dubai, like come on, give me a break. And at that point, I'm still thinking to myself, who gives a fuck? Like we know, I know my truth. You know your truth. We're not dating. We had separate rooms, like nothing of the sort.
Starting point is 00:39:55 And we always used to joke like- But at one time you did. Yes, we always used to joke that we're guilty of the crime. But at one time you guys were dating and intimate, correct? Yes. OK. But it was still. Never committed.
Starting point is 00:40:08 I wouldn't even call it intimate because it was so fucking like ping pong back and forth. Yeah, but you're boned. But no. You never had sex? No. And yeah. Really?
Starting point is 00:40:18 No, we never had sex. Oh, I'm shocked. So you just make outs and stuff. I mean, and in his defense, he's I mean, I did not think he was gonna be a great kisser, but he's a great kisser. He is a great kisser. So it was just dry humping.
Starting point is 00:40:31 And some humping, yeah. Yeah, dry humping, that's my favorite. I mean, we dry hummed all the way home from San Diego one night in the Sprinter van, it was great. Yeah. But it was nothing more than that because it got to a point where we were, right when we finished filming season three
Starting point is 00:40:46 his energy started to Finally become normal and We all took a trip to Palm Springs, and I was like okay. Wow, maybe this is something You're different your energy is different and we did like a live video and he wasn't worried about being in it. And he was more carefree, not so obsessed with what the images or anything like that. And which didn't ever make sense
Starting point is 00:41:12 why he cared what the audience would think when we're filming a show and we're like, cameras are in our faces and we're filming. Why do you care what the tabloids then say? It was so weird. And then it, yeah then it ended there. And so then in the show, you kind of show your frustration in season three, that you're like, I don't get what's going on.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Like, won't write me back. And then you meet this guy, the London guy that we briefly talked about. And you say in it, like, to him, I don't have that chemistry with London Guy. And that's when I was like, why does she, she doesn't care about London Guy because she cared about London Guy. She knows that this scene is going to be shown a few months in advance, or you forget about the cameras.
Starting point is 00:41:54 But I was like- I'm just very open. I like, my London Guy knew about Tyler. It was never- I know, but if London Guy, if you really liked London Guy, and then he's sitting watching the show and you say six months later, I don't have the chemistry with London Guy, if you really liked London Guy, and then he's sitting watching the show, and you say six months later,
Starting point is 00:42:06 I don't have the chemistry with London Guy like I do with you, Tyler. If I was London Guy, I'd be like, well, this is embarrassing. It's the truth. So that's the truth, but you're not with London Guy once it aired, so it was okay.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Well, no, we weren't together, but we were together. I wasn't worried about that. I'm very, nothing that I'd ever said on the show about him was ever a lie or like sometimes the truth hurts and the truth was, but here is also, it was my truth then, but I think dissecting it and, you know, having been therapy for the last eight, nine years of my life, I think it wasn't chemistry between Tyler and I. I think it was that when you're confused and you just want answers and you,
Starting point is 00:42:50 it was the chase and the pull and the push and the, it was a psychological game. Right. It wasn't chemistry. I didn't feel safe with Tyler ever. I never felt like secure. I never felt intimate. And ever. I never felt like secure. I never felt intimate.
Starting point is 00:43:06 And that's what chemistry is. You know, chemistry, and you can think someone's hot and want to make out with them. But when I was saying the chemistry, looking back, it really was just that teenage girl in me wanting to be liked or wanting to be, you know, wanting to know what the fuck was going on. I was like wanting to get to the end of whatever this chapter was
Starting point is 00:43:26 and I could never get answers from Tyler. And I finally got my answers, but not from Tyler, but I figured out a lot after we stopped filming. And that's why- When did you finish filming? We finished filming season three a year ago. A whole year ago? And you have not seen him since? Because he left the Oppenheim group, right?
Starting point is 00:43:46 He did. Did he go back to his dad's office? Yes. And why did he start at the Oppenheim group? To get on the show? Yes. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:58 So he went back to the dad. Yeah. He wanted to like have his, you know, me time and you know, he's married to somebody who's got a whole platform for them to live in his shadow. And honestly- And it's not like you're gonna, like your dad's not gonna take you back.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Yeah, he's got a safety net. That's who Tyler is. He has a luxury of having a safety net. I've never had that. Well, you're to remind people you are a single mom. You told your very inspiring story. And by the way, Mary's book is coming out. It is out.
Starting point is 00:44:26 And, oh, good. Well, I have it. Okay, maybe it's not out. But I have it, yeah. No, I think it's not available till September. Oh, okay. But Mary from Selling Sun, said Beverly Hills, she came on my show and she was a teenage mom.
Starting point is 00:44:36 And you were two. And got married and had two kids. Hence why you have young teenagers and you're only 34. So yeah, you didn't have the safety like that whole, you know, the privilege of having. Not even my parents, like my parents were blue collar workers who, you know, loved me to pieces and but I've never had financial, I've never had what a lot of people have and there's no problem, that's fucking great. But a lot of people have and there's no problem. That's fucking great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:04 But it shapes you and it molds you into who you are. I have a very strong background. Your choices are made with that in mind, whatever that might be. Absolutely. Sometimes you can take bigger risks. Sometimes you have to take bigger risks. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Because you don't have anything else. You don't have a choice. Yeah. Okay, so you've not run into him or anything. I have literally not seen or spoken to that man in, we obviously, we spoke after the show and then after Palm Springs and then, you know, some stuff happened and then all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:45:41 out of the blue, I was blocked. He was announcing his departure from the Oppenheim group. And from the show. And from the show, didn't tell me anything. Polly actually called me and said, do you know that you- Who's Polly? Oh, Polly. Polly.
Starting point is 00:45:57 This pretty English girl, yeah. She said, do you know that you're blocked and like four other people are blocked from- From Instagram and stuff? Yeah, I said, what? I said, how do you even know? How can you even see who's blocked you? And she goes, oh yeah, you're blocked and like four other people are blocked. From Instagram and stuff? Yeah, I said, what? I said, how do you even know, how can you even see who's blocked you? And she goes, oh yeah, you're blocked, someone's blocked.
Starting point is 00:46:08 I said, where did this come from? And I called him and I had a conversation with him and I was just like, what the fuck is wrong with you? And what did he say to it? He's just, he never really has answers. He's just a, I told him, I said, you have very coward-like tendencies. And he goes, yeah, you're right, I do.
Starting point is 00:46:22 I'm working on it. Interesting. So now when I, so you have a fun Instagram, and I'm, yeah, you're right, I do. I'm working on it. Interesting. So now, when I, so you have a fun Instagram and I'm gonna go back to this photo, but there was something, where was it? Maybe I didn't take the photo of it, but it was the, you know, you were in late Cuomo. Oh yes.
Starting point is 00:46:38 And you, and I felt like it was when you were getting shit because I guess maybe Britney still had done an interview and I think maybe fans or something were coming after you, making it sound like you might have been the impotence for their relationship ending. And you were like, I'm in Cuomo, out of the time of my life while you were talking about me, was that in reference to what was going on
Starting point is 00:46:59 in social media? The irony is that that post was actually geared towards the trolls. Right, the trolls, yeah. It was actually geared towards the trolls. Right, the trolls. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying. It wasn't geared towards Brittany Snow. And that post, I think, came out on the same day that her pot or the day after, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:13 And everyone thought I was talking about her and I wasn't. And it's just the irony is that then all of the trolls went to that post and were commenting about the podcast that Brittany Snow had just done. Like you guys are missing the fucking point here. Like this has nothing to do with Brittany Snow. I'm literally just talking about you guys. But did I haven't listened,
Starting point is 00:47:35 I never listened to the whole podcast, but obviously I listened to what she had said, and geared towards me, assuming it's geared towards me. And even if it wasn't geared towards me, the audience assumes it's geared towards me. And even if it wasn't geared towards me, the audience assumes it's geared towards me. And... And you took offense to it. Of course.
Starting point is 00:47:50 Because you said, I have been a victim of cheating and I would never do that with a marriage, if someone was married. Ever. I mean, I honestly, I've been cheated on so many fucking, I thought it was a rite of passage of being a woman. Like, I just thought that every woman has been cheated on. That is not true. I have not been cheated on. I'm like, okay, I of passage of being a woman. I just thought that every woman has been cheated on. That is not true.
Starting point is 00:48:05 I have not been cheated on. I'm like, okay. But I get that. I have been cheated on so many times. But young, I got married at 19, and there was infidelity there too. Yeah. And it's interesting because it never really jaded me.
Starting point is 00:48:27 I always thought it was way more about him than it was about me. I was very confident in, like, I loved being a mom. I was a fantastic wife and I did everything I could. It was a him issue. And every time that a man had cheated on me, it was a him issue. And I just obviously pick, my picker was off.
Starting point is 00:48:43 Well, it is a him issue. That is true. It is something insecure in yourself that you need to get that validation from another person. It's like an ego boost. 100%. And you're unhappy. Somebody who cheats is a coward and can't actually have a conversation with their significant other and say, Hey, I'm lacking or I'm unhappy or how do we fix it or I don't want to fix it and let's move on. Or it's so sticky. so it's so uncomfortable. So it's a little bit of having your cake and eating it too.
Starting point is 00:49:08 I don't wanna get divorced, but I love the way this outside person makes me feel and that's where the good sex is and that's where the freshness is. But I don't wanna leave my wife, kids and house. Totally have your cake and eat it too. Or I wanna keep my, I love my family, but I also wanna, you know, have this excitement. Yeah. And so there's no, I mean, whether it's an emotional affair or a physical affair,
Starting point is 00:49:30 I just think it's such bullshit because I'm so direct and everything happens for a reason. I've learned so much from every relationship that I've been in, but I'm not the kind of person that would ever engage in infidelity, and I would never not be direct. If I was unhappy in a relationship, I would express that, and I would move forward. And I just, were there things that maybe season one could have been done differently, and maybe were hurtful?
Starting point is 00:50:03 Yeah, maybe, and I take full accountability for that, but infidelity and absolutely not. In this photo, we'll get into it, isn't it? I don't have a photo of Kayla. And so what happened with Kayla? She also is a single mom. In season three, I met her. She was very pleasant to me at a party
Starting point is 00:50:23 and she was a new realtor and a party. And she's a new realtor and a single mom and she gets on the show. And in the in season three, she gets this enormous listing, which is a big storyline. Right. But they talk about how you went on a podcast and you said something like she's batshit crazy off a rocker needs to be a medic. Was that my podcast? No. Okay. Because people were like, was that what Ad? I don't remember her talking about any of the cast, you know, like that. I don't do any podcasts. I think I've done like five podcasts.
Starting point is 00:50:56 And so they found out about while you're filming and you know, you felt badly and you did go to her. Yeah. But why did you say that about her? Because I think that she's bat shit crazy off her rocker and needs to be medicated. What did she do that made you think that? Wasn't she going after Tyler at one moment? Yes.
Starting point is 00:51:16 So she made out with him one late night. No, I don't think they ever made out. No, no, they never made out. Pauline made out with him. Oh, OK. After him and Brittany separated, Pauline and him got drunk one night, made out in the office. Went back on those metal chairs and made out?
Starting point is 00:51:27 No, there's a big couch. Oh, okay. There's two really big couches. And horrible place to do it. I'm like, seriously, go to your house and do it. Why are you? Our office is a fishbowl. It's all glass.
Starting point is 00:51:38 Yes, yes, yes. I'm like, are you insane? Okay. So I'm like, you got yourself into that pickle. Like, I'm sorry. That was with Paulie. Yes. So what was the story with Kayla yourself into that pickle. Like I'm sorry. Yeah, that was with Polly. Yes. So what was the story with Kayla?
Starting point is 00:51:47 Season one, before he was getting divorced and before anybody knew any of that, she had approached him multiple times, intoxicated, wanting to seduce him and say, you know, no one has, and he was like, Kayla, I'm married. Obviously also he's like, you're not my type, you know? And she goes, no one has to know. And I think, and I've given Kayla so many chances and I have a very soft spot in my heart for her because we can relate on so many things
Starting point is 00:52:15 because we have had similar struggles as being single moms. And I see this, I do see this like genuine side to her, but the problem is that she has multiple sides. With me, it is what you see is what you get. I don't have another side behind closed doors or to the public or to my friends or to clients. I am who I am. And with her, it scares me because I don't know if she actually believes the things that she says or actually doesn't remember
Starting point is 00:52:47 or there's something happening because her memory lacks a lot. Maybe it's like drinking and then forgetting or I don't want to make any accusations, but her excuse is always, I didn't say that, or I don't remember that, or that didn't happen. When, like, we have the receipts of things that did happen, and we have the, people were there. We've witnessed things, we've experienced things. And for example, the end of season three, I go and apologize to her,
Starting point is 00:53:20 because we find out that it is about her. And to be honest, that came out, I filmed that podcast like six months before. And to be honest with you, I thought it was about Brandy. I didn't even think it was about Kayla. And we had called Justin, who I did the podcast with, who's an Oppenheim agent who has a podcast, very dear friend of mine. And we called him that day at the beach when the girls were like, is it about me or what
Starting point is 00:53:42 is it? And I'm like, oh my God. I'm like, I didn't write it in my fucking diary. I went on a podcast, like just go listen to it. I'm sure you can find out who it was about, right? So we called Justin, who we all know. And I said, is this about Kayla? Cause I don't fucking remember.
Starting point is 00:53:55 And he goes, no, it's not. And I said, okay, it's not about Kayla. And they're like, well, why didn't you put out the name? Cause he put out a teaser. It said, he said, and out of respect for Kayla, this is what he said, I bleeped out her name because I didn't want that going out there. And I said, okay, that makes sense after the fact,
Starting point is 00:54:12 because then they found the whole podcast on some platform. Well, I mean, you can find it anywhere. And they listened to the whole thing. And so then I look like the asshole. And you look like a liar. I look like a total fucking liar. I look like a bag of dicks.
Starting point is 00:54:23 I'm like, that fucking sucks. But then once we find out that it is about me, And you look like a liar. I look like a total fucking liar. I look like a bag of dicks. I'm like, that fucking sucks. But then once we find out that it is about me, I say, okay, listen, it was about you. Sorry that I hurt your feelings. And I apologized. And I tried to start over with Kayleigh because there was so much water under the bridge at this fucking point. And maybe two weeks after we're done filming and we hug and we've been to company lunches
Starting point is 00:54:46 together, we've sat next to each other, we're sending each other self-help books and we're talking about the kids. And she says, I'm so glad that we are back to this level of us. And I said, I agree, we work so much better when we're not pushing against each other. Three weeks later, I get sent a video from TMZ and Kayla at Balboa Bay Club, and she's calling me racist. Racist? Where'd that come from?
Starting point is 00:55:14 And I'm just like, what in the world? And then I am fuming. That's where she came up with that? But what evidence was there? I literally have no idea. She goes, you know, the microaggression and she treats us a certain, and it's only geared towards us. I'm like, what? I mean, I'm not even hearing anything.
Starting point is 00:55:33 I'm just like, this is complete bullshit. Because we had made amends, right? And so then she sends me and Jason actually, like our Netflix PR was all over it because you can't those allegations are insane You can't be in the public eye or on a show and say shit like that. Of course, especially unwarranted. Yeah out of nowhere and Jason called me and my production company called me and Netflix PR called me and they were just like this is so unacceptable Jason told me he said I her, I talked to her. She, it's not getting through to her.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Like she's not understanding how fuck, like how you can't do that. And Jason is very like, I'm scared of Jason. You don't want to be on his bad side. And he will just tell you, shut the fuck up. You can't do that. Like get it through your fucking head. And she was apparently saying, well,
Starting point is 00:56:23 she said all these things about me. She said, it's not the same. The gossipy, bullsh well, she said all these things about me. It's not the same. The gossipy, bullshitty drama stuff is not an accusation and allegation like somebody says. That's a character assassination. 100%. And it's horrible for everybody involved. Right.
Starting point is 00:56:35 You know? And so she's defending herself. She sends me a text message, you know, within the same 24-hour period, whatever. And she goes, hey, just want you to know, TMZ did come up to me and I did say some things, you know, I did speak my truth, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and, but if you wanna talk about it, like, I'm happy to talk about it. And I'm also not sure if I can move forward
Starting point is 00:56:56 with this friendship. I'm like, oh, now you can't move forward with it. So I, that was it, and I blocked her. I blocked her on socials. And now, during interviews, because season three has finally come out a year later, she's going in the press saying, I don't know what the hell's wrong with her.
Starting point is 00:57:13 Like she blocked me and she blocked my family members. Like this is why I don't trust her. And I don't ever think her apology was genuine. Like, are you not remembering that you went into a news article and made horrible accusations about me and my character that were completely unwarranted and false after we had made amends? And now you're going in...
Starting point is 00:57:33 This was like three weeks ago, we had a press day and she's telling them that my apology was never genuine because I blocked her. I'm like, you're missing a big chunk of the fucking story here. But that I'm like, do you not realize that? Or are you? Is there a problem up here? Does that make sense? Like, I don't actually feel like I'm dealing with crazy.
Starting point is 00:57:52 I mean, I've had stuff like that happen. And it's just it's awful. Because when someone hears it, even if you know, now someone's going to hear this and be like, God, I did hear that. I'm so glad I heard that interview on Juicy Scoop because now I see Alex's point. But three years from now, someone's going to put a comment and they're going to say you're racist because they remembered seeing her story first and they never heard the follow up to it. So once you throw out a hurl and accusation for years, I mean, I have one thing that'll come back that happened 10 years ago in the press and
Starting point is 00:58:24 people will still say this is true. And I'm like, it's not, it's been proven over and over that it's not true. But it is what it is. And it's just, even though it didn't ruin my life, it ruined it for a little bit, but it's upsetting when you read a lie. Well, that's a common or something that's really upsetting and it like throws off your day and that's why you don't throw out those things. But these people, this is what's worrisome is that they're like loose cannons. Like you don't even realize like the etiquette that you have to, there's a little bit of a boundary
Starting point is 00:58:54 that we as being on reality television have to stay between the lines a little bit. The problem when somebody throws out a race card or whatever it might be, I can't even touch that with a 10 foot pole. They're like, you don't say anything. You don't respond, you don't comment. And you're like, but I wanna defend myself.
Starting point is 00:59:18 What do you say to that though? It's an untouched territory. It's better that you keep it quiet so it doesn't have legs. But at the same time, like I said, someone who heard that is going to think about that for the rest of your life. But you're like, but if I don't give it any life, it'll die quicker. But at the same time, there's going to be a small percentage of people that heard it,
Starting point is 00:59:38 that thought it. It's what I mean, in such a cancel culture society, here's the truth. And I'm not even sounding, I'm not trying to be conceited or cocky or arrogant, but let's just say that grew legs. And something, I mean, I don't know really how cancel culture works, if it actually is based on proof or facts and evidence, but let's say something happened and I got, then they're like, oh, you're not on the show.
Starting point is 00:59:58 I call it Hollywood stink. You get some stink on you, and it doesn't mean that you won't ever have a career, but you got stink on you. Right. And you gotta live through it. Right. And let's say, and I'm a professional. We're not doing a reality show. I'm not a waitress.
Starting point is 01:00:11 Like I'm a fucking professional woman. Right. Providing for my kids, just like you, Kayla. And I said, and if, let's say I got canceled. Yeah. I said, the reality of it is, Kayla, is that, what's the show? What's the show?
Starting point is 01:00:24 Everyone wants to, not everybody, but Kayla sure wants to attach herself to a Tyler or to a me to make drama to be relevant. So you want me to get, now I'm off the show, Tyler's off the show, Jarvis is off the show. You guys don't even have a fucking show anymore. Like be smarter with your comments. Like what are you, this isn't a joke.
Starting point is 01:00:43 You know what I mean? It's just- Good point. What what I mean? It's just- Good point. What are you doing? It's just whatever. No, it's true. I mean, essentially I think that the racist allegations towards Ramona is what ended it for the OGs.
Starting point is 01:00:59 That is my personal opinion. And you know- That's a card you don't wanna, you can't play that card. You don't ever wanna touch that, you know, and you can't dig your way out of it. That's the problem. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:01:13 Because once that is out there, that accusation, you can't defend yourself. Right, you can't. Because you're damned if you do damn if you don't. So wait, I wanna ask about these two guys. On the end, Austin, and what's this guy's name? Talk about a good looking group of people. I mean, you guys are gorge.
Starting point is 01:01:32 What a great photo. So what is that cat's name? Which one? Austin and Sean. Sean. So Sean is on the show and he's in marketing. And from the earlier season, he says, I'm bisexual. And then this was pretty juicy. So Austin is married with twin daughters who are toddlers.
Starting point is 01:01:52 And a newborn. Oh, now they have a newborn. And, you know, a great looking guy. And both of them are great looking. And Sean says, I went over there one night and they basically asked me to have a threesome with them. And then, you know, so that's rumors going around. And then he goes and tells his wife with the rumors going on. And she's like, you mean the night that he came over and made, I made him cookies and we talked about nothing? Yes. And then he's like, but there was something in the cookies, and they were insinuating.
Starting point is 01:02:27 And then when Austin and Tyler are like, what the hell are you doing? And then he goes, well, you, Tyler, you were writing me these long texts about working out together, and that I have good calves, and love you, dude, and so clearly you must be gay for me too.
Starting point is 01:02:45 And they're like, what's going on? And then they bring up the fact that he's had his license for two years, even though he came from like a paid marketing background, he is a licensed realtor and he's never sold a house. So I thought that was pretty juicy. Do you think, what do you think of those accusations? Do you think it was to have, if I can't sell a house, at least I can stay on the show because
Starting point is 01:03:08 I've created a crazy storyline? I actually think it happened organically. I don't think it was... Premeditated or planned out? I mean, obviously he went over there and hung out. It was premeditated, but I don't think he did it. I don't know. I think he went out. I think he went and hung out there.
Starting point is 01:03:26 He did. I remember. But I don't think they like officially propositioned him. If he wanted to interpret it a different way or just throw it out as juicy conversation just to get... Sometimes people just say stuff that are lies or exaggerations just to have the conversation turned to them. And then you've got the cameras on and someone's like, well, that wasn't the first time I was flirted with by Austin. And like, what, what? Tell more. And then everyone's looking at you and you feel like pressure.
Starting point is 01:03:53 I've got to tell, I mean, it's happened. It happened with a famous newscaster that, you know, he had a little story. And then every time he went on a talk show, they would be like, tell that story about how you were in the helicopter that almost went down. And then one day someone realized he was there in that helicopter. It's like, but they kept asking and asking.
Starting point is 01:04:11 And so that's kind of what I think. And then I think, you know, he's in a panic and cameras are there and Austin's really is like, that's not true. Yeah. And but then also, again, by saying it's not true in this world of 2024, you don't want to appear like you're homophobic. Right. And that you have anything against some hanging out with having a friend who's not straight as a man. Listen. So there's that.
Starting point is 01:04:35 Austin has been a male model for ever. So he's been around gay people in the industry from the beginning. I mean, he's got more gay friends than not, okay? And this man is one of the most confident men that I know. If he wanted to be gay or if he wanted to have a threesome, he wouldn't lie about it. Right. Right?
Starting point is 01:04:54 So maybe Sean is in his mind, again, going back to whatever his perspective is, maybe he does think that they wanted to, maybe he does think that Tyler wants him, maybe he does think that Austin and Lisa want to. Was that the reality? No. And that night that Austin invited Shawn over, I actually was talking to Lisa and Austin and they told me, they said, yeah, it was weird because none of us were very close with Shawn except Pauly and they're no longer friends. And so Shawn would always like try to sometimes randomly reach out to us, the people that he wasn't very close with,
Starting point is 01:05:31 to try to like have allies or just stay relevant. And it was obvious that it was kind of forced, but one night, and maybe it was genuine. I don't know, actually, maybe it was genuine and pure, but it wasn't consistent and we were all really busy, so that might not be fair. Maybe it was genuine. But none of us really got close to him.
Starting point is 01:05:49 So this night, Austin is out on a date with his wife, Lisa, and they got a sitter for the kids and it's date night and they're out in like some other part. They're not even in Orange County. They're far, they're like in Anaheim is Orange County. Doesn't matter. Austin gets a text from Sean and Sean says, "'Hey, what are you guys doing? "'I'm bored.
Starting point is 01:06:09 "'You know, can we hang out?' And Austin told me before this rumor came to the surface ever, he said, and I felt bad, you know, even though we were on date night, I invited him and to crash the party, you know, and I'm like, "'What is your date night with your wife?' You know, he's like, yeah, but I felt bad for him. So he ended up, he came over.
Starting point is 01:06:27 It was kind of awkward. He, we played the, what's the headset that you- Oh, the head game where you- No, Oculus. Oh, Oculus, okay. The AI thing where you're- I think that's what he said. And he said, and Lisa made cookies or whatever.
Starting point is 01:06:40 And then he left. And the whole point in Austin telling me the story was just because it was weird that, because none of us really ever hung out with Sean. And so, and Lisa is the most, like what you see of her on the show, she's the most chill, no drama, she's a homemaker. I mean, this woman makes homemade sourdough bread
Starting point is 01:07:00 and like, she's just, I mean, to deal with, like Austin is the outgoing alpha energy and she's just the dude and they've been together for like 20 years okay she deals with it all so what I was thinking is the audacity that Sean has after this man has invited you into his home to crash his date night because he felt bad for you because you said that you were lonely and then you make for you because you said that you were lonely. And then you make an allegation like that. I'm just, either they're both either, Austin is completely sociopathic and has everybody fooled
Starting point is 01:07:34 or what we've all seen kind of from Sean, which is him being, you know. I think from watching it, I think Sean was insecure and desperate and he wasn't really clicking with anybody, and he didn't have the big listings to show off. And I think he was like, I'm going to have the cameras on me somehow,
Starting point is 01:07:53 because if I don't have the cameras on me, they're not gonna ask me back. But he left. Well, after this he did. But I think the attempt of telling the story, and then once there was so much anger about the lie, then I think he was like, oh fuck, why did I ever say that or exaggerate that?
Starting point is 01:08:08 And now I don't know how to get out of this hole without saying like, I lied. He just was like, well you Tyler said I have nice calves. And like, he's like, what? And so it just, you know, he was just, I think he was grasping to stay on the show. So now he has left the Oppenheim group too. He left, he said he got the villain edit,
Starting point is 01:08:28 which I don't think he got the villain edit. I just think that there was, I think it's refreshing to see some drama with the guys. Yeah, yeah. I loved it. I'm like, even though obviously I feel for Austin. And I've even had very close friends of mine text me, so Austin's obviously gay, right?
Starting point is 01:08:42 I'm like, no, he's not. And if he, he's, it's just of all text me, so Austin's obviously gay, right? I'm like, no, he's not. And if he, he's, it's just of all the people, Austin would, he had, he would have no problem admitting any of this. That's why it's funny. It's, the irony is not lost on me, but people who- It's more just like, it wasn't true. And you're like, that just wasn't true.
Starting point is 01:08:58 And then, yeah. And I'm again, not homophobic if it was true, but it's just not true. It's a very bizarre situation. And it's just not true. It's a very bizarre situation. It is very weird. Okay, so you were at the 40 most powerful women in reality TV. I was there.
Starting point is 01:09:13 And then I saw that Mauricio, who's also on Netflix for buying Beverly Hills, he just posted today, he likes to do selfies and help. He likes to do fit check. Anyway, he said, I am so excited to be nominated for the first ever Netflix Superlative Award for the category most likely to seal the real estate deal. Please head to my IG to vote. What is that about? And why are you nominated for any of this stuff?
Starting point is 01:09:40 I mean, that's a great nomination, right? I would be wearing the jacket too if that was my nomination. My nomination was shit and I'm not partaking in it. Wait, you were nominated or you won? I was. What were you nominated for? Not most likely to close the deal. What is it?
Starting point is 01:09:57 I was, oh my God. Tell. Such bullshit. Just tell. It's just stupid. I'm nominated for most likely to stir the pot, which I think is horseshit. What does that even mean?
Starting point is 01:10:11 I feel like I don't stir the pot. Wait a minute. Do you think I stir the pot? Okay, so that's gonna be, this is an event that's happening, and you're not gonna go? Yes, you are. I already, it was, that already took place.
Starting point is 01:10:22 That one already took place? It was on Saturday, where all of the nominees got together. No but what then there's oh well I'm invited to the party I guess that's on there but that's tonight well probably when this airs. I don't want to I don't like that. I don't like that. I just wanted to hang out with you more. Maybe I can still go to the party. I bet you I could. Yes why don't you go to the party. Why don't you go to the party and we hang out. That's fair actually. Because okay. I do like the jackets. The jackets are cool, right? Yeah, and you need one of the jackets.
Starting point is 01:10:46 I love this. This is Tarek. Marketing genius. Tarek Musso. He and his wife had flip or flop. Yep. And what is the wife's name? Which one?
Starting point is 01:10:59 Heather? The new wife is Heather. Heather. And the other one is, I forgot the other one's name. Christina. Christina or Christina? Yeah, Christina. And Christina and he got married and they had a couple kids
Starting point is 01:11:10 and then they got divorced and she married this other guy who was like a contractor on the show and had a baby with him and they did not have a happy divorce. Meanwhile, he fell in love with Heather who is a realtor on Selling Sunset Beverly Hills. They get married and have a baby. But the beauty of it is they're all friends and in on it and they are coming back with a show
Starting point is 01:11:33 where, where, what was so funny is her, okay, wait, this is such a small word. Chris, wait, Christina's new husband is a sibling to a really good friend of Heather's. Who? This girl, Jessica. I once did their podcast. I did Heather and Jessica had a podcast. Oh, before Sunset. Yes. Oh, interesting Sunset. Yes.
Starting point is 01:12:05 Oh, interesting. And then Jessica's brother married Christina. Such a small world. And I love that they're all friends because I know Heather is a very dedicated stepmother to those kids. And so now they're having a show where Christina and the new husband,
Starting point is 01:12:23 and Heather and Tarek Oh, the husband's on it too. Yeah, compete with who makes more off of flipping a house. Oh. And so they did this really funny thing because, and they, right from the beginning, it was like, oh my God, these wives look so much alike. Wife one and wife two, they both are thin, blonde.
Starting point is 01:12:41 Brown eyes, I think both. Long, blonde hair, the same style and cute. And so they wore the same outfit and they do this bit. And I just thought it was so clever. I think it's brilliant. I mean, obviously, like I'm in sales. I'm in marketing. Yeah, I do.
Starting point is 01:12:54 And I think it's great. I mean, I know I've known Tarek for a really long time. I knew Tarek before I knew Heather, before I started the show. And we both worked at Sotheby's. I mean, Tarek hung his license there. But so I, very small world. And I mean, this is proof that,
Starting point is 01:13:13 I mean, Tarek and Christina had a very tumultuous divorce. And so I just think it's so great that they can both kind of rise above it and do something like this. And it's like hopeful to people. Like sometimes when people are going through it, I will tell them like, I'm telling you, for 99% of the people, it does get better. And sometimes it can get a lot better. And this is one of the cases. Better, yes. But like false hope. This is the exception to the rule.
Starting point is 01:13:41 I need everyone to know like this is the exception to the rule. I need everyone to know, like, this is the exception to the rule. I wish, I'm like that. I wish my ex-husband, my ex-husband could never be in the same room with anybody that I'm gonna ever marry or date. Yeah, that's never gonna happen. I've come to terms with that. It's fine. Me, on the other hand, I'm like, are you dating?
Starting point is 01:13:56 You should date. I think this girl would be great for you. My hairdresser, she's totally your type. Excuse me, I'm spitting. And he's like, this is weird. What are you doing? Like, well, I'm not in love with you anymore. I want you to be happy.
Starting point is 01:14:07 And you want someone nice around your kids. Exactly. So people who have the wherewithal. And I think sometimes what happens is a woman, in this case, I think she really did see how sweet Heather is as a step-parent. And I think that if there was any weirdness before, maybe there never was,
Starting point is 01:14:25 but that oftentimes women will come together and they'll do the exchanges and they'll do the stuff because they're like, I like you, or I like you that you're nice to my kid, or I like, you know. A mature woman will see that and get like, I mean, not everybody, I mean, it takes two though. You have to realize so many moving parts. You have to have the husband who's comfortable with it
Starting point is 01:14:44 and the ex-wife and then the new wife that's comfortable and the new husband. Like there's four strong personalities and they all are okay with it. This is the exception to the rule. I wish it could be like that for everybody. Amazing. Okay, wait, you say, does it just be,
Starting point is 01:15:00 or does every single, this is from your Instagram, every single mom in their 30s now completely understand Brittany shaving her head in a tag so it's an umbrella. It is funny. Poor Britney's not doing so great now, but it is funny. This was before. This was before. Okay, I want to focus on your ass. This photo, when you went to stage coach, so you wore chaps. I did.
Starting point is 01:15:22 With just a bathing suit G string. Yeah. That is not a G string. My bikinis actually get tinier than that. That was almost full coverage for me. But you went up the crack. And I mean, how did you come up with this outfit and the photo of the sheen of your ass? Now, I mean, listen, you are a professional woman, but now you are this sexy model really with your ass out.
Starting point is 01:15:48 Like, do you have any doubt about posting this? Cause I was mesmerized by your butt. I think this is like, who took the photo? Okay, this is a group, this is a collaborative effort here. I mean, it's a very, it is amazing. Not the photo, but Polly, who is on the show, one of my very close friends, she's been a model also
Starting point is 01:16:05 for her whole fucking life, literally, which is so weird because I always thought you're either good at what, you're either good behind the camera or in front of the camera. Pauly's great at both, and she knows it. She's like, give me the phone, I got you. She's like, go over there, turn over there, the lighting, and then arch your back,
Starting point is 01:16:19 and she's always trying to guide me. Pauly took this photo. Fucking amazing. And she goes, we got it. She also took a fantastic video of me at Stagecoach. We're front and center with Diplo, and we've got these VIP tickets. We've got, you know.
Starting point is 01:16:33 Now wait, were you in that booth? We were in like a corral. That sitting thing, that corral thing where there was couches, and it was like for a bottle of tequila thing? Oh yeah. I am so mad that I did not lurk over there and have you invite me in. Why didn't you ever see me
Starting point is 01:16:47 in public? No, but I thought after, I had VIP tickets, but not VIP artists. Yeah, so we got artists. So I had just the, but listen, if I do it next year, I gotta have the artists, I don't care what it costs. I agree. Because there was too much walking and my hip still hurts from it.
Starting point is 01:17:01 I still have a blister on my foot. I had no idea how much walking, and we had artist passes. But just from where you get in, the entrance. Yeah, it's still so much walking. Like I need roller blades. And you know, and you don't want to get rid of your cowboy boots, because that's the whole look. You can't, you've got to wear the boots.
Starting point is 01:17:17 Well, it's incredible. Well, listen, I'm going to wrap this up, and I want you to tell everybody, so you are still a realtor. Oh, yes, absolutely. And do we know if the show, where are you? We don't know if the show's coming back or you can't say or the filming or what. I wish that I had an answer for you.
Starting point is 01:17:34 I wish that I knew. Do you think they're sending you to OC San Diego? I felt like they were setting us up for that. So I think the San Diego office is really, really hoping that there will be. But from what I've heard from production, as long as there's not enough time in the year or in the day, and Jason and Brett are only two people, you know,
Starting point is 01:17:56 and it's mostly Jason who's coming. What they should have done is never revealed that they were twins. Then they could have had multiple shows, but one could just be playing the same person like the way they do with little child actors. You know, they're great. Kate and Ashley too.
Starting point is 01:18:09 Yeah. They always need to have a twin. It's so true. I don't know if they will. We don't know if there's a season four. I don't know how there possibly could not be a season four. I really am hoping that there is. The San Diego situation.
Starting point is 01:18:21 I think that from my perspective, what I've learned is Adam DeVillo, who is our producer, is the San Diego situation. I think that from my perspective, what I've learned is Adam DeVillo, who is our producer, he is very, very, very particular with who his production crews are, and he wants it shot a certain way, and the lighting a certain way. Yeah, it's gorgeous, yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:35 And it's aesthetically so stunning. And he has built a fantastic team that's very, very good at what they do. And what they do is they film Sunset half of the year, and then we film OC half of the year. So there's no more time in the year to film San Diego. So unless he can get together and rally another phenomenal production company, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:18:59 Well, I always fantasized as a young girl living in my backyard. I said, one day I will have a TV in my backyard where I can lay out and lay in the pool and watch TV. And I binged your show from my pool. I love it! Which is so great because you see, I was in the desert at my house in La Quinta,
Starting point is 01:19:20 so I watched it in my pool, but I got to see the ocean and all the real estate porn and see the drama and have you guys, and I'm having drinks with you by myself. I felt like I was there. I also love La Quinta. I absolutely love it. And then I wore my shirt for you, get me behind gates.
Starting point is 01:19:35 Give me. Because it's, I think the ultimate is a gated community. I agree. Or a gate around your own property. I agree. I want both. Safety. How about both? How about the gate community and the gate in your house?
Starting point is 01:19:47 So tell everyone where they can follow you to get, because you do funny, besides you showing good real estate, you do funny things on your Instagram. But you're a great realtor. Yeah. I'm just on Instagram really. I mean, I have a TikTok. I don't know what the name of the handle is,
Starting point is 01:20:01 but my Instagram is AlexHallOC. Yeah, AlexHallOC. Yeah, here we go, right here. AlexHallOC. Thank you so much for coming back. So fun. And you look great. You look great.
Starting point is 01:20:14 And it's great that you could come here. So thank you. It was only a two hour drive, no biggie. I know, I'm going to get you back a little quicker. Thank you.
