Welcome back to Juicy Scoop. That intro actually made me think I was back on like morning TV that I used to have to do when I was on the road. That's what I was modeling it after. That was really good. I felt totally be like a dorky date. Like my life had a different thing. Yeah.

There was a time I had a chance to go full dork in Denver. Like on one of those. Good Morning, Sacramento. Yeah, it was after Chelsea. So nothing like the podcast hasn't taken off. I'm just doing stand up, whatever. And a producer of another show was going over to Denver. And they were like, you, you, like basically I had an offer.

In L.A.? No, I'd have to move to Denver. Oh, man. With the fam because it was like every day. Right. And, you know, there was like a minute where I'm like, oh my God, I just walk in. I could be on TV every day, like doing hot topics and things like that. It was like a, you know, a show that came on the afternoon, multiple hosts and like live in Denver and just like start a whole new, like,

mommy life. And then, of course, the money was so bad. So bad. That it was like, there was no way. And it wasn't going to need to like anything. And thank God I didn't because a few years later. it did get canceled. But when I would go do shows in Denver, I'd be a guest, and they were all, like, lovely. Yeah. But I remember we went to it one time, and Drake was with me. And there were all these people working.

This was before the show got canceled. All these people working. And Drake was, like, looking over at this person, like running, like a Facebook page. And Drake was like, there's seven people. There's seven people on, that's watching this on the Facebook. It was just so. And I was like, oh, God, this is hard.

Yeah. This is hard. I at one time I had done it like five weeks in a row got up at five o'clock in the morning to go to these shows you know you don't know who's watching coffee cuteness is yeah and I actually went on stage at the comedy club and I'm like how many people are here from good morning whatever the fuck and there's nobody and I'm like thank you so nobody's watching why was I here did you ever because you don't say no to anything no did you ever start to go hey thanks so much for the offer I'm not going to be able to make it thinking you in your head, it's not really worth my energy to do this show. Or you're such a thirsty bitch, you still do it. Unless the comedy club, it was a comedy club. Requested it. I would do it.

But otherwise, never. Yeah. I would always say no. I still say no. But I don't get those, those are gone. Most of that's gone. Yeah, they're all like, like, ha ha, ha. You don't see that anymore.

Yeah. I actually simple, I had a kind of an offer too in Dayton, Ohio. It was like, good morning Dayton. And I said something like, this would be a great job. And they were like, well, you want it? Like basically like that. Like if you want to come back, you could be the guy. And I was like, oh, no, I mean, I can't move to Dayton.

But I swear, I think they told me how much they made. That's like $12,000 a year or something. You know, like, but you get to, you go, you make a little extra money going to like car dealships and, you know, signings and stuff. I'm like, oh, okay. I was like, I think I'm good on that. Yeah, like I think growing up you think it's like a bigger deal. But I think if you're only in like a big market.

but there was just a story that went viral. Did you see that girl that, like, lost her shit? Yeah. She was like a local news person in Detroit, Detroit. That's a big market, I guess. Yeah, that was a big market. And I guess she's got fired, but now she's suing. And so they pulled up this old footage of her being like, wait a minute, I'm trying

to read the teleprompter. Well, Lashon was told me to do that. Whatever. And like the LaShawn or whatever his name was comes to like just Mike the bitch, whatever. And she's like, she's such a fucking bitch. Like, okay, walk away. I'm like, oh my God. If they do a real house size of Detroit, this chick has a job because she's like,

it's a pretty good clip. I mean, now they just want those clips to go viral. Anytime that they do like something dirty, did you see the girl talking about. There was another one, like same day. Yeah. It was like a morning show. And she was talking about, would you eat a beaver? You know, they were talking about surviving in the.

woods. And she's talking to the two co-hosts and she's saying, a lot of these people eat beaver. Would you eat a beaver? And that guy starts cracking up. And like, they must love it. Yeah. Yeah. The other one I saw was it was a QVC type thing for the wigs. And she's like, you know, instead of getting, instead of having to give a blow job, you can just wear this wig, meaning she meant to say blow out. Blow out. And a lot of people made fun of that. Oh, she was on Jimmy Fallon. I mean, yeah. Next day, she did a whole Jimmy Fallon's bit. That woman really took off. Where is Takui? What was it? Takuwi. What is it? That's, I'm saying it wrong. Was it? Hock Tua. Hock Tua. Hock Tua. What was it? Hock Tua.

Yeah. Hock Tua. Yeah. That girl. When's her documentary coming out? Because she's been gone just enough to get just like a like a 35 minute one-off doc. Well, I think the reason that she is gone is because there was it was criminal investigation into her. She did like a Bitcoin or something. And it was at the point where she could be put in jail for manipulating something with Bitcoin. So she had to go away. Well,

so we're talking about that. Yeah. Let's talk about the Gates girl. So Bill Gates's daughter. Yes. And some other billionaire NEPO girl. I've seen this story a few times. So I'm going to try to explain it to the best I can.

but they started a company about it's like an app with shopping or something yeah and all these other like chris jenner and you know the people like that they're like you know in that circle of but like bad boss ladies they all invested in it okay and now she's under investigation because she does this thing called cookie stuffing cookie stuffing and you're like wait like first i was like Wait, she's selling cookies. What? The easiest way I think I can understand it is what's interesting is she had all these influencers, high up influencers being part of her company.

Yeah. But really, there's so many people now, and it's great, that even if you have a thousand followers and you wear a cute top, you can just put a link and go, hey, this is where you get the top and that girl gets whatever, 12 cents. Right. And why not, right? Yeah. Why not?

You're spending the time doing it. the way they did it was they were somehow latching on to those links or something, which is illegal. So they would get all, even though they, even though the person found it through this one influence or somehow that company was getting that extra, what do you call it? Like money, the extra link, the connection, whatever. They were getting the commission. They were getting the commission.

There was stuff and cookies or something. They were stuff and cookies. And so they looked up and they had. all the emails and text messages between the Gates girl and a couple other people, like, clearly talking about the cookie and make sure we capture it all and everything. So it's like they, she can't be walking around. Like, I didn't know what was going on. I was just the face of it.

No, it like appears that she knew what was going on. And they're like, well, let's make sure we capture them all. Like, what do you be doing? We need to capture it all. And the crime could be up to 20 years. Which won't happen to her, but... Won't happen to her, but it would be kind of great if she went for...

At least got to meet One Drop. Yeah. Like, they could have fun together. Yeah. Because Jen Shaw from Real House of Salt Lake City, she already left One Drop. And it's a very... One Drop Elizabeth Holmes is still in the Texas one. Yeah.

That's... Didn't she have a child while in prison? Yeah. Yeah. And the husband, she married someone really... like an heir to like hotels. Yeah. And he goes and visits.

I want to say there's two kids. Really? Yes. What hotels are the air? No, like a big, like his parents are really well- I feel like if you're going to be having sex with her in prison, I feel like you're not. I don't know that he can have sex.

I don't know that they can meet in the little cabins and have sex. I don't think it's that. Had she get pregnant then? Was it beforehand? No, she was pregnant before. Oh, okay. While she was waiting, she had a kid or two. Okay.

Then went to prison. I believe her sentence is eight years. She's been there like four. Yeah. And I'm sure when she comes out. Very minimum security prison. Yeah. And I'm sure when she comes out, she'll have a reality show or a documentary or she'll

be saying, buy this shirt. Mm-hmm. If you like it. Buy this black turtleneck. A lot of people say, hey, I know it's maybe a bad memory, but I love your black-fitted turtleneck. And I want to tell you about one that is completely cotton. We cut out the middleman.

Yeah. So she doesn't talk that way anymore. Oh, she doesn't? No, that was a whole act so that she sounded like these Google dudes that she was like obsessed with. Or even like, she wore the black turtle like because what's his name wore the black turtle like? The one that died. Apple, yeah. What was his name?

I don't remember. Ashton Coole did him. Yeah, I know. Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs. Yeah. She was kind of either on purpose or not on purpose, imitating Steve Jobs. Yeah.

but the Gates girl could go. They could have a little, you know, white collar scammy, like mentor, big sister, little sister, like a little like sorority. Yeah. And she could be like, oh, my big is Elizabeth Holmes. I feel like the Gates girl, there must be some money left for her, right? There'll be a will or something eventually.

There's got to be money there. He's one of the richest men in the world. Does she have to be stuffing cookies or working for some website? I think that it was the gate. Once they got divorced, they gave it all the way. Because Bill Gates was also friends with Epstein, right? Oh, was he ever. And then McKin's wife, ex-wife, McKinsey said McKinsey.

Yeah. And she has given so much to charity and everything. And I want to say that they said, we're not leaving our kids any money. But clearly there's like trust in the things. Melinda. Oh, Melinda. Yeah. And I think that they were one of those that are like, you know, we're not leaving our kids anything.

We're whatever, giving it all to charity. But they'll have these things. Listen, I mean, obviously she'll have access to the best attorneys, but just like Elizabeth Holmes, she has to prove she didn't know this was going on. That she started this and all these people under her were doing this shady shit. Yeah. This is like Iran-I-Ran contra scandal with Reagan. That's how old I am. Like they have to act like, oh, she didn't know.

She was just the girl that showed up, cute lunches and, you know, did this fun thing because she was fresh out of college and they had the capital. and they could get more capital because they're the gates and everybody wanted to be friends with her. So that's what they'd have to prove. But I think I'm just going to keep talking about it because I want to see what happens. Well, now in the billionaire, because the other ones, Warren Buffett also says he's giving nothing to his children. Okay. Now, does that really mean nothing or does that mean, now, I'm not going to give you enough so you can get a waterfall in your bedroom. You know, like don't go crazy.

But you're not going to be homeless either. Right. I think there's just, there's trust funds and things where they're like, okay, if, you know, you could do whatever you want. You could be like you get this much at 25. If you produce two children, you're going to get this much of 40. If at 55, okay, now you can like enjoy your life just so that you aren't a complete loser and you have some motivation to do something. Right. Like I was just talking to somebody and they, they know a family that, you know, she married a very rich trust. fun type of guy or whatever it is. And the parents paid for the house and the parents paid for all the private school. But they don't have extra money for like vacations and they don't have extra money to send now the kid to like the really expensive college that she got into. Because the grandparents are finally like, oh my God, fucking go get a job. Like your kids, I'm not paying for the grandkids college too. Like do something. So I think that's what they're trying to say is because they're so Uber wealthy like in the billions. Yeah. They have to figure out a

that still their child will not become a complete drug addict and loser and contribute something to society. So they were probably all excited when the Gates daughter found a friend who was also a billionaire's daughter and they're like, hey girl, let's be bad bitches together. And then they realize, oh my God, not only are you doing a shady thing, but again, you're stealing from other women that are working so hard posting every day to be a bad bitch. You're like stealing 12 cents from them every time. And so I really, I hope that, um, I hope there's some real punishment because when you look at like someone who gets thrown into jail for six months, because they wrote a bad check at a grocery store, like, you know, to buy groceries for their kids. Like, yeah, but that's

not Bill Gates. Right. Exactly. But that's the thing. That's not right. Right. So, um, but the, it is funny that I see those commercials. commercials like in afternoon television they have these commercials for i guess these websites where they're like come on over to cash dash and uh and they have the people who did it and they're like i got a blender for four cents and i'm like that can't be that's got to be scam right they're like they're like these different apps that they have commercials for in the you know it's like afternoon television where commercials are aimed at people who are like and what do you think that you're just basically giving all your information for them to screw you later exactly yes

They just want your information. I don't think you ever actually get a blender for four cents. Right. I'd like to see the person who actually got the four cent blender. Or like companies that are like, are you in tax debt? We'll help you. Yeah. And so then I know that some are legit, but some are not because then somebody will like,

okay, oh my God, thank you. I haven't paid my taxes in five years. I don't know what I'm going to do. Okay, we'll give us $4,000 and we're going to help you. Yeah. And then like, they're like, well, now you need to pay more so we can help you or get the course or whatever and then they disappear and then you're like oh shit you know thank god i've never had to do any of like check cashing plays

And tell me how is it going this week for her.

Well, I watched a couple of her monologues. And I mean, I guess we're going to go back 30 years to when she, you know, we all remember the Rosie O'Donnell show where she pretended to. She pretended to be straight and she was into Tom Cruise. Yeah. So in love with Tom Cruise. Yeah. And we all bought it at the time. And she always was saying she was obsessed with like every week there'd be at least one person from Broadway on. A Broadway person.

Which as someone that lived in L.A., I was like, I don't know who these Broadway people are. I'm never going to see these shows. Like I, I mean, I guess it was good that she promoted Broadway. But I was always like, can we just stick to like the TV people that I know who they are? Yeah. But I figured she would do a different schick now because that's been a long time. and we all, you know, know that was he's not into Tom Cruise. Yeah.

But she's still doing cutie patootie and stuff. You did it in the model. People are like applauding. She goes, you know, Guillermo, there's sidekick. She goes, and look at you, Guillermo, cutit, patuti. And people like, yay, from 30 years ago. And then she goes to the desk where she does her own celebrity interviews. And she's got like little dolls and kush balls and stuff.

Like from 30 years ago. And I'm like, come on. I think we've all advanced. as a society beyond that corny shit. You know what I mean? Well, I saw a clip of, um, of, uh, Kathy Griffin talking directly to the camera, saying like a lot of people have been asking me when I'm going to be on this week because Rosie and I are such good friends and I am not going to be.

And I'm pretty sad and bitter about it. Though I want everyone to watch her because she's so great. But I really thought like, you know, but I guess she has no say or maybe she does in putting who she wants on the show. Kathy Griffin must know it's going to get like who's going to see it. Nobody's watching. But also I'm just kind of want to be like, yeah, that's Hollywood. Yeah.

She's finally back on TV. You think she's going to push the agenda of having someone that's, no offense, Kathy, like over having like an Alex Earl or somebody on that's going to bring in the audience. Like, I mean, it was just kind of like, but I like that she made. that she mentioned it and was like, yeah, I didn't get asked to do it. But yeah. Yeah, I feel like there's a couple of other people on higher up on the totem pole than Kathy Griffin. Yeah. Yeah. But again, like, come on, have me on. We both hate the same man. Like, we could have so much fun together. Let's go for it. Um, speaking of Alex Earl, she has, you know, this is the biggest influencer.

You get, for people that don't follow the stuff, you're like, Alex Earl, Alex Cooper. Alex Cooper is call her daddy and Alex Cooper was kind of the original. She found Alex Earl who became famous by just doing these just explosive TikToks while she was at the University of Miami of getting ready and all this stuff. And then she was dating this cute football player named Braxton and people just fell in love with her. She had acne. There was a problem.

She had some acne issues. I'm telling you, that's why she became fat. She was dealing with acony and people were drawn to that. Okay. So she did the realness. Yeah. She was like, I'm getting a boob job. Her body is beyond banging.

And then she has this interesting family. So her parents got divorced because her dad was having an affair with her now stepmom, who was also previously famous for having an affair with Elliot Spitzer, the governor of New York. Oh, yes. Yes. So it was found out that he was using call girls. Yeah. And she was one of them.

and she didn't crawl away. She was doing interviews. She was like, yeah. Like, I'm a happy hooker. Like, who cares? And then years passed, and she and she and Alex's dad fall in love. It's clear from the trailer. Yes, it was an affair.

And the mom is also on the show with her new husband. And she's like, yeah, is it, was it hard to hang out with the woman that broke up my marriage? Yeah. But we're all doing fine. and we're on a TV show. And then the new mom has three kids. So she has three half siblings. And then she has one full sister who's a brunette version of her.

And that's the show, Earl meets World. And does anybody care about this? Like, am I crazy? Maybe I should care more about the Alex Earl and her family. This is, it's a huge. I don't know. I don't know that I'll be watching it, to be honest. I don't really care.

And it's like so many people are going to find out more about me. And I'm like, I don't know how much more there is to find out about you. Like you chronicle everything except we're going to see like, you know, your funky brother and like, you know, maybe the stepmom and bring up the fact that she was a hooker and it's fine. Yeah. I mean, I'm like, I guess it's good that's just out there. Like I guess if that's your origin story, you're like, you know what? Let's just make money at it and put on a reality show because the kids are going to know anyway.

Yeah. And she's like the get, like for every party, I hear, you know, anything that was going on in the Hamptons or this summer or like Alex Earl was there. Like, I mean, it is really interesting. Imagine like, I don't think I know anybody that's like our age that's like, yeah, I always knew that my mom was like a high class hooker growing up. And it was totally fine. It's something she did. Like, I don't know. Like, how can you, do you tell your kids like,

this is why I want you to have an education. Though she did have an education, she went to call it. It was like, anybody else that's doing only fans, it's like, well, you know, I don't really want to work in this all cubicle or I can like take photos of my crotch. And then like the wig and all that. But anyway, yeah, maybe people want. I probably just got a lot of people to watch. It's good for her. But before pretty woman. She's a very likable character. And she is, there's a clip where she, where you think she's going to say the truth of why she and Alex Cooper. don't like each other anymore.

Yeah. Because she was under Alex Cooper's podcast and then left. And it was mostly like the dad was like, this is a bad deal. And nobody ever knew what happened. Right. And there were people, Alex,

most people were team Alex Oral just because they think she's like a sweeter, nicer personality. Yeah. And of course, Alex Cooper is still more popular than she or richer or whatever. And I'm like, just sometimes deals don't work out. Like,

it just doesn't work out. Whatever it was. She wasn't good at doing the podcasting. She's better at doing this. who knows what it was. I saw the Dave Portna guy who was, you know, basically started all that. Yeah. And he was, his take on it was Alex Herald didn't need.

At that point, she was already big enough that she didn't need Alex Cooper anymore. So the deal should have never happened in the first place. Or like when you're that big, you know, doing an hour podcast. Yeah. Which now, you know, like you can do a funny clip or a pretty clip with your perfect body while you're getting ready and get five million views and not one is negative. and they're just like, I love that fit. Your abs are killing me.

You're so cute. Have the best time tonight, okay? Or you can go to the unwelled production offices and sit down and have them go, hey, your last interviews were really dull. Yeah. You need to do your prep work and you need to read these five ads and do them over again. And, you know, read the comments. And the comments are like, oh, my God.

Like, this was so boring. Her voice is annoying. Yeah. Like we've already heard from this person before. Why is she getting leftover interviewees? And she's probably like, well, this is kind of hurting my mental health. And it makes me not want to dance around in a bikini anymore. And that's what gets five million views.

Right. You know? And so anyway, it folded. So I think in just to get any conversation to stop, she did a really nice thing where she's like, I'm going to pay for mothers registries for their babies. Yeah. I'm going to get your baby registered. send them to me, you know.

So she's doing a very generous thing. And, you know, so she's got a lot of money. But then, of course, there's people like, well, I haven't gotten mine paid for yet. You know, like, all right. Pattinson yeah excellent oh my god it looks so embodies him yeah and from what my understanding is Chris Hanson does not have any part of it right so in this interview they were like how you feeling about it and he's like yeah I'm guessing maybe it's not going to make me look that great because this interviewer brought up this point that was like what you did to catch a predator and everything now almost 20 years later sex trafficking and child pedophilia is like worse than ever right so it actually didn't do any good and if anything do you think you piqued more of an interest in people that do it the wanting to know what kind of people do it like what you know and he's kind of just like well I mean obviously I mean I'm guessing he's like

well no that was never my intention my intention was to catch people doing it humiliate them and make people stop doing it or thinking of doing it because you might get caught I mean I think the intention was great but I mean we did a sketch at Chelsea lately to catch a little person I think I pitched it and because I was obsessed with what a show what a show and And we literally had a thing. I remember the house that we went to. It was like off of like we were in the west side. So it was a little house on the west side that we like was somebody's house that we were able to use.

It would be like low budget. And I think Chelsea was supposed to be like the Chris Hansen character. And so somebody would like just like that. Like, you know, oh hey, you know, wanted to meet a little person. And then Chewy comes. And the guy is like, yeah, let's hang out. whatever and then um then chui leaves and then chelsea comes in and she's like hey sick fuck like what you have a seat yeah yeah with the yellow with the yellow um folded right not i've had the yellow

papers and so yeah i mean it became like became a joke it became in the zeitgeist and all of that and um what i'm gathering from the trailer it seems and i this just could be something that i just see it seems that they get to the point where it's such a hit that they show this in the trail. It's like a network executive going, okay, it's such a hit. We need it on every night, prime time. That's the name of the movie. It's called primetime. And it looks as if they begin to start casting it because they have a kid in the trailer.

And he's like, what am I doing? He goes, you're playing a part of a child molester. So I think that's where he gets into trouble because later in the later episode. I believe they began casting it. What I also recall is that there were, it became, and my sister of criminal defense attorney, I remember I spoke to her about it. It really averged on entrapment. Yeah.

And so there was that. And then I want to say of some of these quote unquote alleged predators, like suicide happened with that person after ending in your life and everything because not only are you caught in this way. I see them doing it like online a lot where people are just taking it into their own. They're just doing this on their own. And they're like going up and they're like making the guy call his wife and say, yeah. Like in Walmart and stuff.

Yeah. And they're like, and she's like, what's going on? And he's like, um, I was trying to meet a 14 year old. What? Yeah. I was trying to meet a 14 year old just to like talk to them. And it wasn't a 14 year old. And I just, I had to call and tell your wife.

I was always a little more. Where are they now that were featured on the first and second season of To Catch a Predator? I was always a little more weighted out by the weirdos up in the room on the computer and the girl who would put on a, you know, be the young girl. And she was in reality like 25, but she had like, I don't know, an overactive thyroid or something. So she spoke on the. hive lace and coming down in a second. That you'd put on a face fall.

Yeah. And I'm just going to go get, I'm going to go changing my bathing suit. Okay. How you do it? And then it comes out, how you do it? You're like, oh. Oh, no. Not again.

I knew this was too good to be true. And one time. When something's too good to be true, believe it. She said, bring M&Ms, the girl, you know, like bring M&Ms. And the guy shows up. She goes, bring me. Evan, MZ taps his pocket. Like, did I?

Yeah. You can have to work for those. It was fun to watch. I mean, I know it's a dark subject, but it was fun to watch. But you never, the thing is that there was, you never knew where are they now. Yeah. Like because of the way the internet was and stuff, it wasn't like we could immediately find out, hey, what happened with that rabbi?

Yeah. Did he get off because it was entrapment? Did they never follow up? Because no crime was done. you know, because he just was talking to the person and showed up, no crime was done. Right.

Right? Like you could talk to somebody and yeah, you know they're 14. You can, an adult can talk to a 14 year old. They can go meet them. Because remember he used to say. It's not a crime to go. He used to say that.

He said, you're free to go. And they would walk outside. In the early days, I think they would just leave. But then the cops were involved. And they remember the guy would dress like a bush. In our episode. you come running, I dressed like a bush.

In our episode, we had a couple of the other people like look like cops in Brussels, the guy. Right. Like on the lawn in Culver City. I would die to see that sketch right now. I bet someone can find it. You know what? It was so like first season.

It might not have been on YouTube. But, um, okay. So also, are you excited about the movie about the Beatles coming out? Oh my God. I cannot be. It's not only about the Beatles. It's a different movie about each beetle. So every beetle gets their own movie.

They're four movies. That's right. There's a Paul McCartney movie, a Ringo Starr movie, a John Lennon movie, and a George Harrison movie. And they're doing all the movies at the same time because there's some parts where they need all for them together. I think so. Yeah.

Like, who cares? Yeah, what are you going to do? It's good enough. There's also Bradley Cooper is, I think, directing, maybe he's in it too, but he's directing the Oceans 11 prequel in Paris.

Oh. So it's a prequel. going back to that? So now they can get, they don't need the same people or anything. I don't think because it's like we're gonna,

And then, and then like an older Girl Scout who care, like, do you really care that, like, are there like 30-year-olds that are like, I'm a proud Girl Scout? No, they're like, oh, yeah, we had to do that. Yeah. Anyway, I still don't know what's going to happen with them. And I worry about it every day. Do you? Yeah.

I mean, I've given us some thought, but I think they'll be fine. I think they're going to be fine. Comes back, makes up with his brother, starts to be a. fun uncle, the kids are all, the grandkids are all hanging out, the cousins, right, everybody would be like, great. Harry and his brother start a podcast. That's the only, that's the only podcast that's ever going to work for Harry and Megan. Yeah.

Is if Harry and William start a podcast. Oh, it could be like. William and Harry podcast. Yeah, I like that idea. But what are you going to do with her? Like I've said it on here, I think, before. The only, Saturday Night Live is the only way she could maybe save her career. If she goes on Saturday Live and kind of makes fun of it all, I feel like it would almost

humanize her in a way that she hasn't been at all, I think. And I think that's the problem. She's getting too far away where there's no, you don't even know who she is anymore. You also said you like worked at your grandfather's like hardware store. Like there were so many stories. And people are just like, just create some product with someone. Speaking of being judges on shows like she was, have you heard anything about the Howie Mandel? What the controversy with Howie Mandel? I did see that clip. Yeah, the clip of him talking about getting happy ending hand jobs at a place. I was shocked by that.

So all of it seemed like, but the more interesting part, it was after that, him and his daughter started talking about something. She says something along the lines of, is it, see the dad I had, he gets handjob something. And then he goes, you're a bitch.

Do you see that part? Yes. And then it got kind of weirdly real. I feel the first part. Then the girl was like, oh my God. Yeah. Because you're, yeah, sometimes you're a bitch to his daughter. Now that you say it all, I think this was all fake.

It's totally fake. To get people to talk about his dumb talk to. 100%. Because I feel like it was for clicks. You are in charge of it. Yeah. So you could have cut it out. Yeah.

Even if you didn't cut this, so you know someone's going to cut that clip. So you wanted it to get out so that people would be like, I need to go look at this show because people aren't listening enough or whatever. Right, right. Yeah, because everyone's like, really, the guy that's a germaphobe is going to like a, that's what I've been seeing. A lot of people saying.

A strip mall and he's been married for 48 years and he's saying this in front of his daughter. Right. But then, yeah, this can go viral and then he go, by the way, that was all a joke. Oh, he'll come out in the next couple of days and say something like that. Because also I feel like the guy's got a legitimate job at NBC. I feel like that could be in jeopardy if you really were going out there getting hand jobs for $25. You know, the thing is with podcasting is it really is supposed to be a flowing conversation. Right.

This isn't a set interview where a publicist is standing over there and this and that. And there was this other Secret Lives of Mormon Wife girl, Jesse. And I saw, oh my God, she's removed her Instagram since this other person, found an old clip of a podcast she did where she was saying she got her like vagina worked on or like you know some people have whatever maybe a little outy

situation down there and you can easily get it taken care of so she's talking about it with somebody and she goes and now I look down there and I'm like oh my god I look like my daughter okay I was like okay so not the greatest thing to say no but you know what you would say that at lunch to your girlfriend. You would. And if you really are being authentic in a reality show or on a podcast and you're talking to a girl that you're viving with, now listen, you know,

when I do my podcast, I say, if you want something cut out, I will cut it out. I'm not here to ruin your life. Have you wake up at three in the morning, stressed about it? Just tell me. And not often. We almost don't edit anything. Yeah. And you, I can not say, I don't think you've ever said cut of the out. Never. Why would I cut any of the out? But I've had a couple of people that are like, you know what? Actually that one thing.

Yeah. And or, you know, I don't know. I think it's that. No problem. No problem. I don't question it. I don't fight for it. I'm like, no problem.

So she left. She didn't think about it. I don't know that they made that a clip. Somebody heard it. And now they're like, let me set out to ruin Jesse's life. Right. Of course it's. But like, again, you weren't.

You know what I mean? This wasn't 12 steps where you, like, yes, I want to keep that thing in with my daughters. Yes, yes, yes. Yes, I want people to visualize my daughter. Like, yeah. You didn't. And obviously, like, that's the thing that we're in this world where everybody's saying,

be authentic, be authentic, be authentic, be on the fly. Don't be rehearsed. And it's like sometimes stuff like that happens. Okay. Oh, yes. This is I wanted to discuss. Tell me about this movie. Okay.

It's in the theaters if you want to go see it. The one guy, it's Callum Turner who is married to Dua Lepa. Okay. Semi interesting. And this girl's Monica Barbaro, good actors. And I think she dates Andrew Garfield. That does nothing to the story. But you see the trailer for the movie and see the posters like you see right now.

And it just looks like a regular romantic comedy. But then I somehow started reading about what it's about. And it's, which I think is strange. but also sounds more interesting now. It's like that movie The Purge where they are free to commit any crime they want to within 24-hour. So this movie, everybody gets 12 hours to fuck whoever they want without,

whether you're married or together. But is it consensual? Consensual? Yes. Yes. Yes. So I guess everybody has some sort of chip on them in this movie and they turn it off from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

and everyone gets 12 hours to fuck whoever they want. And what happens nine months later? Who knows whose kids is on? Anyway, the interesting part to me was that's never even mentioned at all in any of the trailers or anything. I'm like, that's the whole plot of, I feel like I. So you saw it? I didn't see the movie.

I just happened to read this yesterday, the synopsis of the movie. And I'm like, well, now it sounds much more interesting. So whoever promoted this movie was an idiot because that, now I want to see it. Where can you see it? It's in theaters. Oh. So anyway, I guess it takes place in New York City. It does look like it's in the future.

You know, it looks like modern day. So they have chips where they get to fuck anybody they want. Right. And you always are like, yeah, how did this get started, you know? I know. Because usually in future movies, everyone has to wear the same thing. Yeah. Which I was always like, why in future movies everyone wearing like gray dresses?

Like, it zips up to there. Yeah. Yeah. I'm like, what are you saying? Like fashion just goes away when like the, the, regime from another, you know, planet comes into play. And the other one, when it really gets, when like a nuclear bomb hits, there's only a few people left, for some reason everyone's wearing shoulder pads,

like quarterback shoulder pads. Like, what? Yeah, well, how is that protecting you? Yeah. Why did that happen to everybody? Anyway, it's always very interesting. So I just said that was interesting. Also, the other thing that concerns you about it.

Yeah. Which I don't know if you've heard, but she's actually getting a legitimate work now. She's in this movie and a couple of other, like, good movies, is that girl who used to date Kanye West. The crazy one who wears wacky outfits and... Oh, Julia Fox, the white girl. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

She's in what movie? She's in this movie. Okay. And has like a legitimate part and has a few other movies coming out, like almost like Oscar style. I have to say, I have enjoyed

not being every third article being about Julia Fox. There was a time where it was like, oh my God, like TMZ and page 6, do you have anybody else to report on it? Yeah, so I just thought that was interesting to talk about.

Yeah. I know earlier when we were trying to discuss topics. We had a couple of dark topics. You know what I just realized, Julia Fox is kind of like the Sandra Bernhard of our day. Okay. But from your snippets, because you don't know about it, I just want you to just ask me because I have talked about it a lot and there was an episode out yesterday, juicy crimes where we really cover all the conspiracy theories of it.

So you ask me and I'll answer. Here's what I do know. Okay. I believe the trial has just begun. That's what I've heard. It's been a couple weeks. Okay. And the woman is paralyzed from the waist down.

From the waist down. Lindsay Clancy. Lindsay Clancy, who is on trial for killing her children. Three of them? And then after she killed the children, this is what I know. So which is nothing. And she jumped out the window. That's what they say.

And from that, she's paralyzed from the waist down. Yes. Okay. And the husband is now where is he Scott free? So this is what's so interesting about it in a nutshell, which is like why someone like you would be like that isn't all up in it and why it's just fascinating. So we hear about this horrible tragedy. Right.

That was told to us through the press. and everything that this is what happened. This woman suffered horribly from postpartum. But the prosecutor believes that no, she knew what she was doing and it was premeditated on her part. Yeah. And she wanted to end her children's life and her own. And she sent him off to do these errands so that she could be alone with the kids and do this. Yeah.

Okay. So that's what they're saying. Her defense is saying, no. She is innocent by reason of insanity. and she was on 13 medications and she tried to get help and she was in and out of places and she was hearing voices

and all of this and so you jury were asking you to find her innocent by reason of sanity where she will go to a you know a psych ward

which is where she's been for the last three years and stay there until she gets better which could be three years from now in which she could get out Okay. If she actually stabilizes, gets better and is no longer insane, she doesn't have to stay there, or she stays to the rest of her life.

The other side is saying, no, she should go to a regular prison because she's not crazy. Okay. So then the trial starts. So, okay. Now let me stop you there. So in any of that, so that seemed to the trial, is anybody, any lawyer going, has anybody looked into the husband? Nobody is. Okay.

Nobody is. Nobody is. So as we're watching it on court TV, which. Actually, Drake asked me a question. I don't know the answer to it. I'm sure J.C. Scooper does. Why are there some trials that we can watch on court TV every minute, every day?

Yeah. And why do some are not allowed? I believe I could be wrong, but I believe it's up to the judge. That's what I thought to. Yeah. The judge can allow cameras or not. So do you have a thirsty judge? Yeah.

That'd like to be famous? Right. Like OJ. No, Judge Ido. Yeah. Judge Ido was super thirsty. He loved it. And, you know, how they decide, well, this is should, you know,

This is juicy enough or interesting enough or, or no, we're going to protect because the main witness is a 10 year old girl or something. You know, like maybe those are the ones that don't make it. So people are able to watch this from home and, you know, and women that have, that are mothers, that have been with a narcissistic husband that have maybe suffered from postpart and they really start watching. And it's them who start making their own content to go wait a minute with this timeline. Yeah. Why wasn't the husband looked at more? These, and I'm not saying like with the Karen Reed case, okay, there were some legit, wonky things that didn't make sense.

Hence why she got off. Right. This is like 10 times that. Okay. This is so many things. And one is he married. See, I didn't know that. I learned that just before we came to air.

years ago. He's now of his new wife. Yes. Okay. So this happened three years ago and he married his new wife in April. Okay. Knowing that this trial was coming, you kind of are like, oh, okay, I wonder why they would, why they did it then or why they'd wait. Some people feel it has to do with if they were ever put on trial after this. Now, in the very, very rare cases where in doing the trial, they kind of hint that maybe there could be somebody else that could have done this. And they'll sort of be like, we don't know where the sister was during this time, whatever.

But then it would take the prosecutor to then go, wow, we lost this case. The person that was in trial is innocent, but I am going to look into this other person. Oftentimes, hey, it's a job, it's over with, we lost, goodbye. Right. You know, there wasn't enough there. So that could happen.

But I mean, if the jury has access to TikTok, Okay. I mean, I just don't see how you could do anything but innocent by reason of insanity. She is insane, but it could also be like, we don't think she did it. They don't think she did it. They think that this was now premeditated, that there's now evidence that just happened in the last 24 hours that a really great content creator that I don't have her on the top of my head has come up with. And this girl only has like, no, no. This fitted profits on my show, but there's another girl that only has like 13,000 people. And I mean, those stuff that she's coming up with.

Wait a minute. Is premeditated by the husband or premeditated by the husband? So now they're like, could this be premeditated? So, you know, there's a lot of evidence that he knew his wife, second wife, while he was with his current wife. Okay. So yeah. There's a photo of them back with two other people at like a, like, a, like a, dinner out before he ever married Lindsay wife number one.

Okay. So it's like was he originally in love with the current wife, Rachel? Yeah. Something happened. They couldn't make, they couldn't be in love. Then he found Lindsay who looked so much like her. And he was always sort of pining for Rachel. And then somehow they meet up again.

They both did marathons. Right after she, right after the tragedy, he was in Costa Rica. This content creator found a girl that was like, I'm in Costa Rica during that time. In that girl's photo was Rachel. And that's the same week. He was also in Costa Rica. Oh, that's a good one.

So, like, who plans a trip to Costa Rica? You know, that's kind of a big deal. And she's a medical doctor. So it's just a coincidence that three weeks or a couple months, it's a very short time. After the murders, he went to Costa Rica. and this girl that he used to know that, you know, that lives in New York, which is where he was going to New York all the time, where he was looking to get an apartment for a one-bedroom apartment in New York before the murders, took a job in New York before the murders.

Like, there's just a lot of that. And then the timeline of the night, there's a lot of questions. That his outfit changed in between two errands. Did he run home and do something? And is there security footage of that? There's security footage. There's times. There's her,

the temperature of her body. Yeah. Shouldn't have been that low with the timeline. Like was she out there for like several hours? She had, yeah, there was an Apple watch? Did he take the Apple Watch from her?

Was he wearing the Apple Watch to look like there was activity when in fact there wasn't? There's a lot of theories of what could have happened if it's not what they are telling us. That it's she lost her mind, did this horrible thing and then try to offer. herself and then he came home from doing the errands found her called police so that is what it is and i mean in talking about it i've said like imagine if you know this isn't at all true everything you've said is true as patrick you were lucky enough to fall in love with this girl that you met a long time and a lot of people meet up with their old high school sweetheart whatever nothing was going on

before but yeah you know we're in love and we have a great and we're going to get through this trial and then we hope that she gets the help she needs. He's also suing the medical profession. He also started a nonprofit for his kids where he's receiving all the money. I mean, so he's made money off of this. He's still gotten a job. He also was a sailor. And one thing that people said was were there sailor knots on these bands that choked the children?

Oh. And we looked it up and there isn't any proof that they, they were sailor knots. Okay. Because that was one of the things. Because like she's not a sailor, she's a nurse. Yeah. But then the way she cut her wrists in her suicide attempt is not the way you would do it

to be the most successful. And she's a nurse and he's not. Okay. So did he do it the wrong way? Did he? So that and he just comes off. There's facts that he was not an attentive husband. He was going on ski trips by himself or with the oldest daughter leaving the two little

ones with her. How old were the kids? Five, three, and eight months. And then he, you know, she still had to work as a nurse in the beginning of their family while he made 400,000. Why did she have to work? She drove an old Kia, you know, like he was going to brunch with his friends. He would like leave her. And then she said, I always heard a man's, I had heard a man's voice in my head telling me to do things. But she only heard those voices at home when she was. was in her mental hospital before she didn't hear the voices. When she was after the murder, she never heard the voices again. So he was somehow whispering in her ears. Was he the voice? Yeah. So it really plays out like a crazy movie. And other people are like, oh my God, these crazy white

women on the internet with their conspiracy theories. But it's not just like one or two things. Yeah. And so then the thought is, does Redding, Reddington, which is this older attorney that everyone loves, because he's so loving towards her, his client, is he knowing that this, is he putting it all out there for the public and for the jury to go, listen, we're not saying he did it, but we definitely aren't 100% she did it.

So we will definitely not side with the prosecution. Yeah. And that is, I mean, his goal is that she, because like I said, in three, and also her being in a wheelchair is very, It makes her very sympathetic. And a lot of people think it's really weird that all these women and mothers

are like, have sympathy for her. Yeah. But they have sympathy for her for what she went through. But they, but the bigger story is that they don't even think that she did it. And that's what the conversations are about. But they're really all only on,

I mean, you're not really seeing it. Though I did just see TMZ just posted something. Because TMZ is now like going, okay, everyone's talking about this. We better talk about it. Yeah. Team Zee just posted like the two of them,

Patrick and his new wife, Rachel, on, at some restaurant or a balcony or something in New York City. And it's like, looks like they had a heated argument, you know. And it didn't look like they had a heated argument, whatever. And I'm like, oh, my God. Oh, and then her father-in-law, so her father, Rachel, like wife number two's dad, has these connections.

He's like a billionaire and he has these connections to Seagrams. and the family that run Seagrams, he's in business with this person. And the two women that were part of nexium that gave all their money, these two sister heirs of Seagrams. So that's like weird, but that's just a weird coincidence.

Yeah. But just that she comes from a lot of money and she's a doctor and she's a fertility doctor and all these things. But like, I mean, you know, we don't know where she was that night. I would think that she's someone would be able to figure out if she's second wife second wife

was she anywhere near Boston that night or not so there's I mean the conspiracy theories go really really far yeah and really dark and then there's ones that are just like he pushed her to do it or he actually did it and threw her out a window or something pushed her out the window and that's why she like the way she yeah the way she went wouldn't be the way but I'm like all these it would be different. Yeah. All these things are like, you know, again, you don't know when you're, how many times this has happened in the history of, you know, and then, oh, women are more likely to end their children's lives this way. Oh. You know, and not the way that happened with them.

Yeah. Like, what way? Like, I don't know. Like, I've heard that too about like women ending their lives that they never shoot themselves. Yeah. And that's not true. They do. But it's less likely. You know, it's like, it's more like, oh, a drowning or a. smothering for the kids is more likely than what happened here, which was like strangulation. I mean, you know, then you look at the girl that wanted to be with her boyfriend and she put the kids in the car and pushed the car down the lake. Yeah. That girl.

Yeah. Yeah. She wasn't postpartum. She wasn't anything. She literally ended her kid's life because she wanted to start a new life. Yeah. And I think most people agree that is not what she was trying to do because she was trying to end her life too.

So there's a sympathy there. She didn't do this to like go become a dancer. She's, you know, in a wheelchair and, you know, has nothing. She has no home. She has no kids. She has no husband. She's seeing her husband sit on the stand. But everyone thought the husband was so great because right off the bat, he was like, I forgive her.

Yeah. I forgive her. Please show her some grace. But I thought he was doing that because he immediately fired a lawsuit against the medical professionals to be like, it's your fault that she, that she got to this place. to do this tragedy. So therefore I should benefit from this because I don't have my kids anymore. It's your fault.

And the only way that works is if you forgive your wife because she is innocent. So he is on the stand telling his story. But he stands with, you know, I know I think she's insane and she did it and she doesn't deserve to go to prison. Wow. That's the story. Now I'm going to follow the story more. The Hayden Penitier, that is, if we're just talking about some sadder things. So she had this boyfriend, Brian Hickerson.

The one who was with her when it happened. He also, I guess, assaulted her in 2020. Yeah, he's a scumbag. I've heard. So she was back with him. Uh-huh. And apparently his brother found her at their place or her place and he was there. He was sleeping and she was there.

Uh-huh. I mean, it just sounds like a really bad situation. And then, so she really definitely struggled with drugs and things. And then there's a real housewife of Beverly Hills former person. They think that it was her that did the yacht story. But then they're like, no, it wasn't her. It was somebody else. Yeah.

But this real housewife, former real housewife is very. Diana Jenkins? Diana Jenkins. She is very wealthy and very likely to sue people that say anything negative about her. So it is in the news now. They're photographed a lot together, which doesn't mean anything. But she was accused of doing stuff like this in the past by crazy days and nights person. And she went after them.

And I think she prevailed in suing them. Who's crazy days of nights? It's like a podcast. It's like an anonymous website of like made up stories or not made up stories. I don't know. And so isn't there a chapter in her book, but she doesn't mention Diane Jenkins saying she never says the names. And people are like, why not you say the name? Because like you could be sued.

You could have to fight for it. So it's like, you know, so that that was in there. I want to end on like a funny thing. All right. It's also terrible. I don't know. There is this thing. I don't know if you've noticed it.

It's really one guy started, and I don't know his name, but I feel like other people are doing it now. And it's just, it's unbelievable. And it's basically people taking movies, full-blown movies, from 25 to maybe 30 years ago, is kind of the golden age of these horrific movies.

Yeah. That you cannot believe that someone, like racist, yeah, inappropriate, like assaulting, but it's like seen as funny but today it would be like complete assault and then like walking through the movie

talking about it showing scenes and making like a TikTok about it and you just cannot believe that these movies were made. So this one, Marie Johnson posted it. I don't know if it's her work or if she reposted

who put this whole thing together but it's called Crippin-Doff's tribe and it's with Richard Dreyfus and Jenna Elfman. Oh, wow, what a cast. And this is a, yeah, I don't know if I've seen this. This is a full-blown movie.

Yeah. Okay. What year? Can you look up what year this was? Krippendorf's tribe. Yeah. You know, the two guys, you hear the narration of the two guys in a podcast basically talking about it, but then they show scenes of this movie that existed.

So Rick J. Dreyfus is a widow with two young boys and a teenage daughter. Who's the poker face girl, Leon? the world it stars in poker face. It's 98. 98. Yeah. Okay.

So yeah, like 20, less than 25 years ago. Right? No. How many years are we in? Yeah, I said exactly right. 25 to 30. Okay. So anyway, she, she's a teenage daughter.

And he's a professor and his wife is dead. And he was supposed to like find this hidden tribe in Africa somewhere. but he's been so sad about his wife dying that he, you know, didn't really do the work. And everybody at the university and one person is Lily Tomlin is in this too. Oh. It's like, you know, well, you have to do this big presentation

that you discover this tribe, how are you going to do it? So he puts his two boys in blackface and then tribal stuff after and makes a hut in his backyard and films that like he really went to Africa and found this tribe. Now that you mentioned this, I do vaguely remember this movie. Yes. So then they're like, oh my God.

It was like a comedy. No, specific comedy. And, you know, Jenna Elfman, who, you know, from Darwin, Greg and a bunch of other things, she is like works at the university too. But she is, can you look up Jenna Elfman's age and Richard Dreyfus's age, okay? So she. This difference. Definitely.

Yeah. Okay. I mean, I want to say it's more than 20 years. Oh, it's more than 20 years. Oh, it's more than 20 years. She's like, hey, you know. Yeah. She's 54 and how old is Richard Dreyfus?

He's 84. 78. Okay. Okay. 20 years. Okay. 25 years. So, and he's not cute.

You know, he's not a babe. He's bald and kind of short and fat. There was a time when he was like a sex symbol in movies. Never. No. Even in Jaws, he was not hot. No. There's a movie called The Goodbye Girl where he's literally, him and Marcia Mason are like a sexism.

And both of them are. butt ugly. No, he was, okay. I'm telling you, this guy was like a sex symbol. We can differ. I never, ever, as a female, saw him, I always saw him as what you'd say, a character actor. I know, but he was put in films where he was supposed to be a romantic leading man. No, he could be a romantic lead, but he wasn't legit hot.

He wasn't Richard Gere, okay? So anyway, they, um, so then they're like, what else? And then, like, Lily Tomlin's like, I think you're lying and I'm going to find out if you're lying or whatever. And so then they need, you know, they need money and everything because he's like this struggling professor. And this cable company, TV cable company, he goes, we want to feature, like on our show all the footage that you found from this like hidden tribe in Africa. Yeah. Okay. So they're like, oh my God, this is great. And then the guy goes, what we really need is,

do you have footage of any of them lovemaking? What is it? Like, loving. And Richard Dreyfus is like, uh, yeah. He invites Jenna Elfman over. Blauser with alcohol. Oh, my God. Puts hidden cameras in the living room.

And as the kids? No, makes her get in blackface and wear like African garb. And she starts dancing and everything. And he's like, all right. And he presses record. And they like start making out. And he's dressed like an African person too. And then they wake up the next morning and she's like, has a headache and is hung over.

And she's walking through a electric store, like electronic store. And there's all the TVs there. And they channel on there is the Anthropology cable channel. And they're like, we have footage of the way this tribe makes love. And she sees herself dancing around in the African garb making out with Richard Dreyfus. and she's like, what? Everything about this sounds so 90s. The fact that there's even a appliance store, Richard Dreyfus, Lily Tomlin.

I mean, that's wild. So it's an insane thing. It all works out in the end, okay? I don't remember. It all works on the end. The next one that they're doing is Soul Man. I probably seen Soul Man 10 times because. I saw Soul Man in the movie theater.

Howell, are you gross? It is the most shocking. Shocking. Drake, I need to tell you what soul man's about. See, Thomas Howell can't get into law school. Mm-hmm. I mean, this is so offensive because he's a white guy. Yeah.

And so he's like, well, they're taking more people of color into these spots. Yeah. So I am going to take, I think he put makeup on, but I also think he was taking like pills to make himself darker or something. And changes his hair and everything. So he looks like a black guy. Yeah. And he went full on like, give me five. Yeah.

It's soul man. And he can twirl around like Michael Jackson and everything. And then he gets to the law school and he has to pretend like he's black the entire time. And then of course he meets like this beautiful. Ray Don Chong, played by Ray Don Chong. The girl? Yeah. And she's like stunning and everything and like, you know, super smart and cool.

And then he does kind of realize, finally by the end, I think he realizes like, maybe this was kind of fucked. Oh, no, he realizes that he took the spot from her. Yeah. That was it. It's that he took the law school spot from her. Yeah. Because they only had a spot for one black person and they chose. I mean, it's so.

It was in the theaters, big hit. Big hit. Summer hit. everybody went laugh wild i think when we go back to like old movies of like the black and white old movies or like 50s or 60s they're not as offensive as this era of movies i'm going to give you two to watch they're absolutely shocking okay there's a movie called blame it on rio demi more remember uh i believe it's michael kane and a guy an actor named joseph polonia how i remember it they're like 60. And the girl, the two daughters go like with their dads and they fuck each other's dad,

right? And again, there's about a 40 year age difference between the two of them. Yeah. And again, it's one of those movies that I've talked about that obviously older males wrote it. And you're watching it and you're like, I guess if I was in real, maybe I would screw Michael Cain. Like, it gets in your head. It's how media like changes your mind where you're like, Why would I be screwing my friend's dad? Michael Payne was English. He had English. You know, there's a more recent movie that's the switcheroo of that, where it's two women and I've not seen it.

Two women go on vacation with their like 21-year-old sons. Yeah. And they each fuck each other's son. Oh, what's that one called? Look that up, Drake. I think I saw that I'm porn hub. No, it's like a real thing. They go on a European trip.

Okay. And they both like kind of, and I can't remember like I, I don't, I don't, I don't, I didn't, watch it but I think it's just too weird and close to home like I can't imagine there's also a movie called the toy with Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason wait hold a door what does it say it says 2013 best friends yeah yeah yeah yeah 2013 I think it was a French movie uh it's okay if it's in yeah yeah but uh the toy is another one where uh Jackie Gleason and Richard Brer and it is a rich kid who wants a black person as a toy and they buy Richard Pryor. This is a real movie.

Once again, a big time summer hit. Right, but to like, it wasn't just like, I have a weird kid and he has no friends. I'm going to buy a friend for him. Yeah. It was like, no. No, you need to act like a toy. Yeah. They take him to a toy store and he goes, no, I don't want any toys.

I want that. And they go, what? The black guy? He's like, yes. And then they buy him. This is Richard Price. It's great. It's kind of a fun.

Has Richard Prior, before he passed, ever talked about how, like, I thought it was an awful thing, but is a huge paycheck and I'm just like, whatever. I don't, I don't know. I don't know. Like, I always wondered, did they realize at the time? This is a different time. Yeah. I mean, we always talk about how, like, you know, 16 candles, there's like a, like, the girl is so drunk. Yeah.

And the guy goes, here, you can drive her home and do whatever you want with her. Yeah. And the little dorky Anthony Michael Hall is like looks to the camera and is like, all right. And then the next day she's like, did we? And he goes, we did. And she's like, it's fine. It's fine that we did. And I was completely passed out.

Every time the Asian guy comes on screen, they bang a gong. That isn't real. That's not a joke. The gong bangs every time he comes on screen. It's wild. I mean, just different times. I mean, it is wild. But I mean, like, listen, like we recognize.

We did not write the movies, okay? The generation above Gen X wrote the movies. We saw the movies. Right. We now are raising Gen Z and Alpha Kids, and we understand that they were wrong and gross. Yeah. We, as Gen X, needs to be taken out of this equation. We did nothing wrong.

We just enjoyed them. We did nothing wrong. In this ratio, we did nothing wrong. I remember going to see Soul Man. I saw it in a black theater. There was a black theater on a Long Island, and I went to see in a black theater, and they were loving it. We were all loving it.

I mean, we were one together in loving that movie, remembered vividly like it was yesterday. I mean, people say, like, white chicks is, you know, it should be, it's wrong because, like, they're, they're, yeah, that one has some issues. But it really doesn't, though, because the people that, the white, white chicks love it. Like, they don't find it offensive at all. You could say we're frivolous and believe it. We don't care.

Yeah. Like that's the stereotype of like, like, you know, they just took the dressing like women one step further, you know, the genre of that. When I was in high school, we did a production of a play called You Can't Take It With You. And in this play, there was two black characters. And we didn't have many black people in the school, certainly none who were in the theater program. So the theater teacher asked me, we had a guy, Charlie Burroughs, who was the one black guy in a class school. Nice guy. Football player, athlete.

not an actor. And they said, can you go ask him if he'll be in the play? Because we need a black guy. So I had to go and ask Charlie Burroughs, who was a friend of mine. Like, would you be interested in being in the play? And he's like, why? And I'm like, because you're black guy. And the character's black.

And he's like, no, I don't want to do that. And I was like, oh, I don't forget it. And I think they put people in blackface. But there's once again, different times. Different times. I mean. I mean, it's just unbelievable. It's just, it's really.

It is. Like in a matter. And that like people like, you know, all that. But that's when you're like, yeah, men were running the studios. They were the people green lighting things. Yeah. They didn't think it was wrong. If a girl, if you can get a girl drunk and she passes out, it's all fair game.

Oh, that was. That was the attitude. The plot of every movie in the 80s, more or less. I mean, Porky's, the entire movie is based on them looking at. girls in the shower. I mean, the whole movie is kind of like that. Right, right, while they're taking a shower. And it's high school. Which I recently brought up, do people still have to like shower while they're at high school? I was on the episode. We were talking about together. A lot of people said yes. Yes. A lot of people said yes. I know. I just don't understand how there's time to get completely undress,

shower, get completely like do your lotion, do your deodorant, get completely redress. I think it was a- Close your locker. I don't know how you would do it. Grab your books and get to next class. I couldn't do it. Yeah. How is there enough time for that? I'll never understand. Chris, I know you are getting ready to bring comedy to the people.

But I think that's more where I'm, listen, one of the reasons I can talk so long and so, and I know out so many things is because in my, when I'm not actually recording, I am like you, like looking at the phone too much, but the phone is really the news and

stuff like that. And sometimes in doing that, I get like, oh, I got to put this away. Yeah, me too. I'm sick of seeing how many people also have podcasts. Like that's sort of what makes me go, ugh. But then I'm like, but the juicy scupers aren't on their phone 14 hours a day. No, so a lot of stuff new to them. Believe me, they didn't know what that movie was about.
