Woo-hoo, and a McDonald Juice a scoop Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I just had the funnest weekend. I went to ASU and I went to my first parents weekend, even though my son Drake is a junior there. The last two parents weekend, where you go to the football games, I think I had shows and I wasn't unable to go.

So I was really excited to go and shout out to Lucy Scupper, Meredith and her mom and dad who hooked us up with fabulous tickets. And yes, I cheered on the ASU side and they did lose to my alma mater, USC. But it was very fun hanging out with Drake and to the Patreon person that said, please when you go visit Drake, pull a Vicky Galveston, that is what I did. I went to his place and it's very much a dudes.

I mean, comparing your son's living situation in college and then you see all these TikTok videos of what these moms do for their daughters. And they bring in these decorators. And they all have perfect headboards. I mean, it's just night and day. So we go into his place. You know, he's got a poker table, pool table, you know, fun roommates. And I made a video of real about it and a TikTok where I acted very Vicky Goulveson. Unfortunately, I did not go to a frat tailgate in which I was invited by his roommate to do the Keg stand of Vicky Goulveson. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Vicky from Real House's Vosey early on in the

season, surprised her son, Michael. And I think they probably told Michael, hey, we're going to film you at college, but it's just going to be us, your mom's away. And then she shows up, and she's like, whoa, whoa, yeah! And so I know that I tagged her, and she liked it. So it was really fun, then we went to a much more chill than going to USC game.

So I liked that, and Brandon was there too, and Peter, and my nephew came, and I want you you to I don't know if you can There's a lot of hair on my dog on my microphone right now and that inspired me to come up with some new merch and my nephew is helping with me with the new merch And it's all available you just go to Heather McDonald that and you click on juicy scoop shop and there is my dog has a, which is inspired by Raven's hair on my microphone. Okay, so Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelke. He's the famous one for those that don't know because he and the brother were both in the Super Bowl together and the mom was like so cute. She was at the football game Sunday cheering them on in the special box with the mother. Very fun and juicy and I remember that he did have a reality show that was kind of like the bachelor and it was called Chasing Kelke. Kelke? Kelsi? Chasing Kelsi, which was like in 2000 and I don't know whatever like eight maybe five to seven years ago. It was like I guess you know who's gonna date him. But that was a lot of years ago and now he is dating Taylor and people are very excited about it. That's some juicy scoop. Leonardo DiCaprio has some new girlfriend.

She's 25, so that's a little older than normal. But I wanted to get into a couple interesting things happening in the real house price world before we bring on Brad Wallach, who you will remember from Chelsea lately. And we got into some really juicy conversation about some fun Hollywood stories and whatnot that we shared. Okay, a little interesting thing that happened, but in real half as a Salt Lake City, which everyone loved us talking about them and doing the impressions of them.

As I said, these girls are not friends, nobody really likes each other, but they are entertaining me. nobody really likes each other, but they are entertaining me. So I guess Whitney Rose over the weekend, one of the housewives had an event and a former housewife from her cast named Jenny came and they took a photo together and Jenny posted it. Someone brought it up to maybe Mary's attention, Mary is the church leader and Mary went off and said clearly with me is a racist because Jenny Was fired for racist tweets that she had done before she was hired on the show and You know people are getting involved Whitney had to say listen. I didn't invite this person. She showed up to the event I

Reluctantly took a photo with her. She's the one who posted it. I don't want to be associated with Jenny. Other people are like, okay, Jenny did some bad tweets. I give her that, but she wasn't running a religious cult in which there's tons of reports about how awful Mary's church was allegedly. Nor was she Jen Shock who's doing nine years in prison. So like, anyway, it's just getting real dark. then over at real Housewives of New Jersey I guess they were filming an allegedly Danielle one of the newer cast members got so fed up with Jen Aiden That she didn't just throw a drink at her face, which is you know housewife 101. She actually allegedly crash the the

Glass on her head and she was bleeding. Now, this is very weird because I know this from being in TV. There are special prop glasses like when you see like an old western bar fight where like a a beer bottle would crash on someone's head. In real life, it's actually really hard to break a glass on someone's head. So I don't know what kind of fragile glass where this was, that if, or if she meant to even hit it on her head or whatever, but supposedly it's all being investigated.

And then meanwhile, prior to this incident happening, or maybe it was right around this time, I'm not sure, but in the last couple days NBC Universal, who's also in charge of Brawville, has made a statement that they are going forward, they're not unionizing, but they are going forward in making sure that their production companies that they work with, that the people in these reality shows have mental health people available to them. Always during the reunions of these shows, for before, during and after if they meet it or want it.

Also special training for the producers that have a lot of interaction with the talent, like the ones that are coming with the notebook and going, you know what? I don't think it's really cool that this person said this about you. I think you need to say something right now. We've been at this dinner for three hours and it's boring as shit. And the show is going to be canceled unless you make something happen. So go tell her what you really think of the bitchy thing she said about your cheese board now.

So that's really the way the shows work. And that's why you're like, God, this seems like this came out of nowhere when the girl came back from the bathroom and just laid into this person. So apparently they're going to get some special training on how to be a gaslighting producer manipulator. I don't know. So, but hopefully it'll be for the good.

And then also more education about alcoholism on set and people overindulging on real house as a Salt Lake City. Heather not only got sick but people wondered if she had also peed in the van. I mean it was just a really ugly thing and she was like I don't want to come out here right now. I don't want to come out of the van, shut the door to the van because I'm going to be sick and I don't want this on camera. And of course, it was, we had the mic and we also see her. So those things happen. In speaking of the reality reckoning with Bethany Frankl, there was an interesting article that came out about

from Raider Online, from a former friend of hers. So it's there denying it. I don't know that there's any real proof of it, but this is what Raider Online is saying. Well, this is what this guy is saying. So this guy was her friend. They were best friends or whatever, really good friends all the way back from the first season of Real Housewives

of New York. They hung out. He was at her weddings, the baby's shower. We know when she's pregnant with her daughter, which is the daughter's like 13 now. So they've been friends for a really long time. And he said, he was looking to sell his place in New York, but he wasn't happy with his current realtor. And Bethany said, oh, you should use my realtor, Joe Schmoel.

Use Joe Schmoel. And he called her and he goes, oh my god, Joe Schmoel was so great. I can't believe it. We got an offer for our place for $10 million. And we're going to take it. And then she said, oh, I deserve a Birken bag for recommending you to that broker. He was like a little taken aback.

He's like, ha ha, wait for me or the broker should give it to you. Like he was a little bit like whatever. Then he says that he was there at her place in the Hamptons and she called. She was getting off the Hamptons and she called, she was getting off the phone with someone and she goes, oh, this is my realtor here in the Hamptons. He is going to get a 20 to 25% refuel fee from your listing broker to give it to me. And he's like, what? That's not right, that's unethical.

Now, I'm just going to explain how I understood this to work when I was a realtor in California. As a non-realtor, people cannot give you referral fees. That's not okay to do. Sure, if you wanna take someone out to dinner, okay, fine, but you can't give a percentage of your commission. If you do, it's not, it's just not supposed to happen. Okay. But if I was a realtor in, you know, in LA, and I wanted to refer a client to a realtor I knew in San Diego, and that person made, you know, a $10,000 commission legally

because we do it all before the deal is done. You send out this piece of paper that says, I'm referring you and based on any sale that happens, I will give you a referral fee, realtor to realtor of 20 to 25%. I always thought it was about 20. But anyway, so the fact that this happened and she received a kickback, a referral, and she's not a realtor. So he's like, I don't like this. And then he said she was writing him back and threatening with text and everything. Her people are denying it. She's probably helping me and it just gets ignored. I thought it was just juicy from the real estate aspect, but also, you know, they're no longer

friends. So this was probably one of the many things that ended the friendship, but here it is, writer online reporting on it. So now everybody, let's get into a really fun interview and conversation with an old friend of mine, Brad Wallick. This is Brad Wallick, writer, producer, former child commercial actor. That's true actually.

Yes, he liked you. Kidding. Kidding? I like a friend's parent who's complimentary. Well, I was thinking about it. I don't know if I'm gonna be. Anyway, you guys will remember him from Chelsea lately. We're on Chelsea lately together, but he's done many things since,

and you're like, do we park on the street? It's the first day of the year. It's the first day of the year. What are I, do you feed the meter? And I was like, no, I'm parking in here. And you were like, hi, I'm Heather. I'm a driver. I didn't want to park in, I didn't want me to,

you know, I'm aero. I'm aero. And I'm also just like, I don't want to bring the rules. I don't want to piss out. I'm not want to be too, you know, yeah, and also just like I don't break the rules. I don't want to piss. I'm not a diva, you know, that is definitely you. Yeah, I just I just don't I'm not gonna step on the was toes. Um, and that I remember it and you were like, Oh, I thought you were gay because of my car in the way. No, because then we get into the meeting. This is the very first day. So we had like maybe a month before the show started. And Chelsea was still on the road doing stuff.

And you and Tom had worked on the previous show, which was once a week. And now this was going to be five nights a week. And I was very excited. I've told the story many times of how I got the show that I was just getting back into standup and knew that she was doing the show. So I reached out to her and we weren't close.

And then I met with the EP at the time and brought all this stuff and knew Chelsea's voice. So I got the job and you start to talk about the ring that you're going to get for Shannon. And I just go, you know, I think also just being in LA for so long and in this business that I mean, so many times I've seen a couple, two men, and I, you know, I think they're a gay couple that just looks very similar to each other like a bay December. And halfway through, I found out their father and son.

And I was like, oh, what a sh- literally. Just because I just feel like there's, you know, you just, so anyway, I just thought because your car was stylish because you know how to dress. Oh, interesting. And then, and because we're in this business, and you're writing for a woman, that I just assumed, you know, I didn't think Tom was with his, he's, he's awesome. Yeah, you're awesome. Yeah, exactly. Whatever the team has.

Red socks. I've heard of it. And shirt. And so anyway, then right after that, we all went to go eat. And right away, I was like so in love with you guys and was like, this is such a happier vibe than I've ever had on other shows I'd worked on. So it was like very supportive and like everything I brought up you'd worked on. So it was very supportive and everything I brought up

you guys liked and it was very collaborative. And that's what was fun about it. On paper, we were not the most impressive group of people, writers. But we just understood kind of Chelsea and we understood each other and appreciated just wanted to have fun and be on TV. And we didn't know what we were doing,

so there were no rules basically, and we were like, okay, I guess it was- Yeah, we really kind of created the show as it went along, and then found what worked, and what worked was her with comedians that were also her friends, whether they were writers or people that she knew, that didn't join the running stuff, but she knew them well.

Yeah. That's what worked the best. And then we had our own little tribe. And you guys will remember the show. I don't want to have a whole show about Chelsea lately, though, we may reference it through some of the topics. Yes. But then after she's still around.

Sorry. Who? I don't know her. No, just kidding. Now this story's been going on for a while, but Russell Brand, as you know, he's been accused of several different allegations from like think 2006 to 2013, four women, three of which are remaining anonymous sexual assaults, some he had dated, some he had not one girl was 16 and he was 31.

However, wherever country he was in at the time, that was the age of consent, you know, whatever it is. It's still gross. Totally gross. I'm just saying all the facts. And he is now married. His wife, I think, is expecting their second child. He is very wealthy, according to the latest report, he's worth 20 million according to something.

And you know, nice house in England and this and that. And, but we, he was on the show, and I remember, I remember what I remember from the story Chelsea lately, you tell what you remember, he was a guest. So the funny thing is, well, I'll tell the story. So basically he was a guest, and this was at the old studio before we moved over to universe. So this probably, this would have to be like 10,

around then, yeah. 2009, 2010 and he comes on and he was a bigger star then. And you know, he was like hosting the award show and he was in movies, exactly. So he was like hosting the award show. Exactly, again. He was in movies. Exactly. So he was like a big star. So he comes on and he goes in the dressing room and it's time to tape and his people come out and go, he's not coming out of the dressing room until he gets an espresso.

Well, we were at like some shitty play. We were near a Starbucks. We were near a coffee bean. So Ryan Bassford had to run down and he was refusing. We were like, is he really? Yes, he will not go on unless he gets an espresso. So Ryan Baskard had to run down a coffee bean getting espresso. And then he came out and he was perfectly nice.

So for many years, we were like, you know what? I bet you that was his publicist. But don't you remember the other part of the story? Okay, so the other part of the story is there was some guitar or something that was his public. But don't you remember the other part of the story? Okay, so the other part of the story is, there was some guitar or something that was in one of the guest dressing rooms. And he took it with him. And then he was like,

Chelsea, I bought you a guitar. And he was like, come on. That was the second time he came on. Okay, let's have a go at it. And let's keep this thing going. Let's start like a Twitter war at the time. People talk Twitter war. And we were all like, Chelsea didn't care.

And I was like, oh my God, no one cares. This isn't funny. Our audience honestly wasn't that into him. No. He's a guy from England and our audience is all about Kardashians and all that. So it wasn't like he was a big hit and it wasn't like, you know,

the greatest interview ever. And she's just like, keep the guitar. Yeah. Or whatever, what's the rule? Like, I don't even, it's not, it wasn't like Chelsea's guitar. I don't know why we had it in the car. No, it was a gift.

Actually, I have that guitar in my house now. Okay. But I have that in my house. It's actually a nice guitar, but it was like, it was just for the, it was donated to us for the guests to have and every, and he tried to start this whole thing. We're like, no wonder your show sucks

because this is the level of humor that you think you have. He's not funny to me, but why has he been protected this long and like why? Right, so there was a studio, there's stuff they say that you know, we almost didn't want to hire any female staff. There's all these stories. And Kristen Bell apparently told him no funny business when they were doing that movie and Hawaii And then there was a talk show clip. I just saw Where he just with cat through the field is like I think it became his stick

And he was so he was probably just so out you know, he was so, he was probably just so out, you know, he was so kind of, I was on display, like he didn't hide it. So everyone's like, oh, that must be his act that he's so sexual and everything, but I'm sure behind closed doors, he's fine, but obviously not the case. Right. It's happening less and less though now. Because like, I don't think anyone's left in the business, you know, I think it's happening more. Really? In finance. I don't want finance. Well, I know, but see that's what's kind of sucks, is because women got to a place that they were getting the jobs in finance. And then the boss is like, hey, I've got, you know,

10, 20, 28 year old stockbrokers that are all men. This chick is smart as shit, but she's also hot. They all go out for drinks on Friday at 3.30. I just don't think I want to hire her. I mean, I just, nobody, you know what I'm saying? You're right, you're right. No, they're protecting their potential, you know. Law suit.

Yeah, so no, I get that, but. Everyone is able to work from home, but I think an entertainment. I think an entertainment. I think it's now, I mean, when I've had the staff shows now, I mean, now it's ridiculous. I have to do it. You know, I've gone on to show running and stuff

and we're building out of, well, now it's, you have to have one of everything, you know, and like you're sitting there going. I'm just a little smorgas for it. Yeah, like on lights out with David Spade did that show. Thank you. It's a great show. I know.

I mean, you finally said I could be on that. Yes, you were finally going to be on it. And then the pandemic helped COVID. And I think I was set for like March 23rd. Yeah, exactly. We were like, oh, well, maybe we'll talk about COVID. You know, it'll be a topic. Like literally we were like, how many, how much,

there's gonna be come a day when we are joking about COVID and then it's gonna be like, oh, we can't joke about this anymore and that day came and we were canceled. But now I lost my train. No, you were saying staffing shows. Oh, staffing shows, it's like you start going like, okay, because the networks, you were saying staffing shows. Oh, staffing shows. It's like you start going like, okay, because the networks are really,

they're so worried about perception outside. Not that anyone ever sees a writing staff, but that's not, it's important to have different voices and diverse voices. I always said that the biggest story about Chelsea Leili was it was majority women on that writing staff and probably the whole staff in general you know it was a fifty percent women and no one ever wanted to do that story i used always say the story here is that

she's the first successful female late night host and she's staffed with mostly women and everyone's like that to keep but we're not going to follow that story but whatever. That's what I would say, when I would go to my agents, I would be like, listen, you know, this is a special couple of years ago, I'm like, there's only one female married mother with kids my age.

There's, you know, the alley wangs that are pregnant and stuff. I go, but I'm actually on the road talking about these aged kids. That's a unique story. Like I'm the only one. Your age and state. They don't care. So I was like, okay, well whatever.

Yeah, no, but the point is you have to hire one of everything. And like you'd start going like, oh, he's half Japanese. Oh, good. His father's Japanese. So he has a Japanese last name. So that'll be good. You know, like, well check him off as, oh, higher than Asian, you know, and we were sitting there going,

okay, this white guy, he is bisexual. Does that, and they were like, hmm, and it's like not even enough. I feel like a bisexual, it's hard because it's like, it's hard to prove. Yes, I guess so, but it is a to prove. Yes. But it isn't easy. It is a nice thing to add. But everyone should add it.

But it doesn't count. At least not those executives at Comedy Central bisexual didn't count. He was still a white guy first. You know, and so he would have had to, no, even gay, just straight up gay is not seen as diverse enough. Now, you're like, oh no, no, of course you're gonna have Now even gay, just straight up gay is not seen as diverse enough. Right. You're like, oh, no, of course you're going to have gay people on your staff.

But yeah, you end up having a higher one of everything. Whether or not that makes for a good room, who knows? Yeah. But do you think that when we come back from the strike and I want to talk a little bit about that? Do you think the pendulum will swing at all where people will have a little more freedom to just get a collective group of people that they think Has the talent to write what what it's for because like I was thinking you know I remember you know fresh off the boat, okay about a family in the 90s, an Asian family. Now, if you're to write that show,

you want people that might go, oh my God, I remember this about my dad, who was Asian, or I remember this about my mom. So you would want that, right? So that you could write about it. But if you had a show that was just about a middle class white family in the 90s and then you had a staff of people like that would they say you got to cut this in half.

Yeah probably. So it's like, so that's what I think that's why I think it's kind of interesting because I get it that I think I believe like you know that is really important to have different voices in the room. I think it's kind of interesting, because I get it that I think I believe, that it's really important to have different voices in the room. I think especially for a late night thing. That's how I got my job on Keenan, because he's like, I want a white woman in here. We have six white guys to explain. But with other shows that are very specific, like if you're writing a country thing or a sports show, I shouldn't be on that staff.

No, it's a, yeah, it's a, you know, because it's like, I don't know what they call that. What do they always say? Right what you know. That's the only thing I kind of think, like, I'm all for like casting and stuff, and I'm all for all of it, but I'm just saying, but if you're gonna like have the best product and it's really gonna be authentic

And if this guy if this story was really true that the guy comedian was saying all he has to do is say I fucking made it up I made it up. I made it up to get shock value and be entertaining because there's the fourth podcast I did that day. So I will a little farther and I embellished it. But for me like my stand up is very truthful. But you know you come you get to a point of telling a story and someone goes, you know, what you should tag that with is this or punchline this. So then what, I mean, I hope people know that. Of course.

I mean, that you could have gone to Disneyland, but then you add to the bits, maybe over three Disneyland trips, these three things happen, but when you tell the story on stage, it happened on one Disneyland trip and it rained that day. And I think for a long time, she would wear, what do you want? And she was wearing the big ski jackets, Kim, in 105 degree weather in Woodland Hills. And you know, this is what I want.

And I mean, just the fact that she just probably was, thank God, like I'm free. Yes, I think she's incredibly relieved. How could you not be, but I think she's also probably really sad about it. I mean, to have to deal with all these stories about their father, I mean, he was getting head on a boat in Venice, you know, that her kids can see that. They can see all right. It was so great. Everyone just goes, oh, I don't know why. I think in the beginning, when he came into the family, he really elevated them in all these ways. He really, like, I think he was. Yes, because he was seen as a genius and in fashion and music, and they were never invited to the Met before. And I think, you know, they're happy for her that she's getting, and then of course,

that she's pregnant and all this other stuff. And so I think, and then, you know, at the time, I think he was wealthier than them. Yes. And, you know, he, the wedding and all that stuff. And there was, there was a lot of cash. Yeah. But he clearly has far more.

Yeah. Now, Brittany, she posted this thing, now there's always Brittany doing crazy things, you know, she had a little affair with her gardener. No, no, her housekeeper. I've heard who's hiring male housekeepers who've been in jail before. Okay, first it was the housekeeper that I heard from a very good source. No, it's actually the gardener.

Anyway, it's over. Is that just being racist that he was the gardener because he was Latino? No, no, it's the gardener. No, at first they said housekeeper. But then I heard from a very good source. No, he's like a landscaper. Maybe it's just of general maintenance. Anyway, it's over with. Yeah. Okay. But she posted this thing, which I wanted to talk about. Have you seen this trend on social media where a parent is with her little kid?

And they're like, we're gonna make pancakes today and she goes to get an egg and the kids looking in the bowl for her to crack it. And she goes, and she cracks it on the kids head and posts it and ha ha ha. And it's gotten a lot of criticism as it should. Like, oh my God, I've saw it one more. They're like, this person would,

this is so sad, the kid thought you were gonna spend special time with them. And you're doing it for you. And I've talked a lot about this on the show of how I really think it's bad how much people show their kids. And I think that with celebrities and even not celebrities, they see so many babies and kids on their social media

that then in the minute they have one, they show everything. This is a little outfit. And they love to see the comments and they love to do do do do. But then if you really share every moment as they get older, they're late to potty train, they came home with a bad grade. We're gonna, I mean, this, you know, Ruby Frank, who was just arrested for child abuse,

like, I mean, when is this gonna change? I mean, I just, I can't believe people don't see with a problem, and some of the celebrities that show every like argument with their kid, or they don't show their kid's face, but they're like, okay, all right, so you don't wanna do that at preschool. Well, the problem is too,

is you're also building up these kids and they end up having their own personalities and their own profiles. And we have a friend who, who they put one of their kids on social media and it's hilarious and everything but now it's almost like you create You create a I don't want to say monster, but you create this kind of self-fulfilling thing where it's basically then they become You know wanting to be they almost

They become the role that you've trying to basically thrust on them, you know, and they're like always entertaining and they're trying to be You know out there and everything so I think it's actually not great for the kids too, but Yeah, I think it's it's ridiculous that we're all doing everything for for I don't know it like When you post your a public person in your posting content for fans, for as entertainment value and everything. I'm very similar. You know, I don't have your following and everything, but my page is public and everything I'm doing is just to, for jokes, laughs, whatever.

And, you know, so, but there's a lot of people who put their kids on and that is just, that is the content that they're doing all day, every day. And it's, when we first started, I never showed the kids. And even though I felt like I talked about my kids a lot on Chelsea lately, a lot of times people would go,

I didn't even know you had kids. Like they'd go to my standup, they're like, I didn't know you had kids. I was like, oh, I thought I, I, I mean, very clear. I was the mom or whatever. And when we first started with Instagram, I would like never like really show them.

And then later on, I realized like, oh my God, I'm kind of missed not, kind of missed not opportunity because I'm seeing all these other mom people once Chelsea ended. And, but I'm really glad I didn't. And then there were times where I would say something

was funny and the kids would be like, don't, you know, don't do that, don't. Now I'm like, for years, I've been like, can I post this? And if I can't, I can't and that's it. And, you know, I have boys, so they're not trying to be, make up influencers or anything at this time. Who knows, whatever they choose is whatever they choose. But this time they barely care.

They're on it and they look at stuff for entertainment. By the way, my parents have family friends that became born against, but they had adopted three boys, you know, Arlawn. And then, you know, financially, times got tough, and they became born against. And of course, they're all the son who they adopted is a gay hairdresser. You know, and they were like, they obviously tried to coach it out of hand. Yeah, of course they did.

But it was just like, Are they okay now all together? I don't know. Well, that's not cool. My parents don't speak to them anymore, so. Well, that's probably good at all. Well, yeah, so I think, so she called it out, Brittany, of like this reminds me of like,

you know, the humiliation and all this kind of stuff. But then she's kind of humiliates herself with her weird things. But as long as she's doing it by herself, I guess it's okay. But I don't know what goes through her head at a single day. Like what is she thinking about? Like right now, what is Brittany Spears doing and what does she think? It's not like, it's not like, to what she's thinking about. All right, what is Britney Spears doing and what is she thinking? It's not like it's not like you're thinking about.

But I also think it's going to collect a group of people that believe that no matter what happens with your husband, the thing to do is to stand by your vows and know and publicly deny that that he did that and everything. talk before during the pilot season and it happened to fall on a day that like we didn't have a show or something like a Monday off. So I'm like all right if I get this then you know I can leave Chelsea Lillie and it was interesting because Sharon Osborne was there and Holly Robinson Pete and I was a big fan of the apprentice and they hated each other on the apprentice and they both were like walking in this room as they were doing chemistry tests and then Julie Chan and Sarah Gilbert were the ones that kind of created it together. So they were like we need to find like three or four other women that would fit. So I went out there and, you know, hoping to score this thing.

And I was trying to bond with Julie because Julie had gone to USC. And I was like, Julie! We have so much to come. I went to USC too, which is, yeah, they go, I'm like, oh, excited, fall is coming. Aren't you so excited to go to the games? And she's like, no, actually, I never went to one. And I was like, oh, okay, good time. We had different experiences at SC.

Yeah, and I was like, okay. And they're like, I tried it, and then it was like, the question was something about, JLo is bummed that she waited so long to have her twins because she would like to have more, you know, whatever. And I was like, well, I think it's a really honest thing. I think too many people think that they can wait forever blah, blah, blah.

And then she was like, I disagree. I waited till I was 40 to have my son. And I was like, yeah, because Les was married. Yeah. Les was married. Like I was like, he was married when you were seeing him. I'm like, okay, but fine. You know, I was like thinking, okay, fine, whatever. And, no, so anyway, I did not get picked for the role.

But then I remember Leah Remini telling me at a party of what a nightmare Julie was. And I think it's like in one of her books, and how they wanted to talk about, what she told me is they wanted to talk about who was the Casey Anthony, something like that. They wanted to have that in the show. And she was away in Europe on her vacation. And she was like, you're absolutely not talking about that topic without me.

And then that really pissed them off and they started to talk behind your back or whatever. And then they got rid of Holly Robinson and Leah. And then eventually she got the boot or she took herself away because of less. And she still does big brother. And now they have burial call. Now they added a guy.

They added like one or two guys. Yeah. Jerry O'Connell, who they have tried to get him in daytime TV forever. I know, I auditioned to be his co-host. He was gonna have a show. That's right. He watched it.

And he was gonna have with two girls. And we met at a place in Calabasas that we totally hit it off eating dinner or whatever. That was a long day of chemistry. But you know what, they paid me for the day of chemistry tests. That's good. Like $2,500. That would never happen today. And so then he picked Garsell and his wife. And then Garsell. Rebecca remain. Yes, and Garsell, Boove from Real House, says of Beverly Hills.

And I was like, you know, and she's great. And she was, you know, went on to the talk after that, not the talk, the real after that. But and she said, oh my God, we were so excited. It got picked up at all these places. And I got on a plane from Portland to LA. And I got off at all these places. And I got on a plane from Portland to LA and I got off the phone with Jerry and I'm on my flight to Portland.

This is so great. But I have time she landed. The whole thing was dead. Yeah. I remember what happened. They like it. Basically they were like, yeah, we're going forward and then someone else came along and they're like,

okay, Jerry, see ya. Yeah, there was no, it wasn't like there was a scandal. It just like, go. No, it just didn't go. And he's really, I mean, he's nice and he's funny and like whatever, I have yet to get on the talk. And I've had like, publicists and stuff want to be my publicist.

And I say, okay. Get me on the talk. If you give me on the talk or you give me on the view, I will pay for it for three months. And this goes to anybody right now. And do you think they, they can't, they call me back and say, I can't get you on. Why?

Why you want to listen? there must be somebody there it could be someone that I flipped my hair at at a Sigma Chi party in 1992 at I don't know it could be you know it could who knows what it is they just they just don't think I'm good for the show which it doesn't matter now no care but like but I mean I had But I mean, I had times where I had legit publicists, I had books and specials coming out, and I could have come on one show and done a hot time. It would have been very simple to have had me. It's not like the show would have made it a broken act.

Or exactly. But who knows? I got tired of trying to figure it out. And that's what's nice about having your own thing because you just don't know. And when people call about black ball you whatever it it's not necessarily like twelve people got the room in hollywood and we're like we hate other it can just be like one person that's like

nope yeah yeah it's it that's that's the weird thing is it can come down to one and sometimes you never know and i would want to know I mean, there's times where I, you just like, there's things in my life that I was just like, I want to know. And I remember I found out what, like there was this girl that we did a standup together. And she was like 15 years old in the night, but she was really fun.

And we like kind of came up at the same time. So we both became like regulars and hatters. We talk on the photo of time, everything. And then one day, she just never called me back, but short on the phone, weird, what I'd see at the comedy store, and I always wondered what happened, what happened. So then I start to get back into stand-up and I go, I gotta get on this thing called MySpace. So then I find her on MySpace, whatever. And she's like, oh my God, Heather, da da da da. And I go, let's talk on the phone.

So we talk, and we're having all these memories. And I go, I gotta ask you, like you legit, like blew me off. What did I do? And she goes, you know, I was, you know, interested in Johnny Sanchez, who was this really funny comedian. I remember, yeah, I did a show with him. And he was like our friend that we'd always talk to.

I was never romantically interested in him, mostly because I'm 59 and he was much shorter than I, and I just didn't go for shorter guys at the time. I don't know what my future holds, okay? Not saying I won't, you know. But anyway, at the time, that's not what I was looking for. And I had a lot of just, I really didn't date comics in general Yeah, I wasn't ever searching one out unless they were like really famous or something

Then I was like here. I'm so um, but see that is that is true to who you are Yeah, I can't deal with some Yeah, right so but someone who's rich and on SNL or a normal Donald. Donald, why the hell not? I'd say hi to him. So then, I, so that she goes, I was, we were at a booth chatting and you just roll up and you sat next to him and I just, I, you know, I was interested in him. And I was like, you were, because here, like, I didn't think they were matched.

He was a little older than him. I would have never guessed she never told me she was interested and nothing happened between he or me and I was like all these years just and you didn't know I had no idea but why wouldn't she have clarified it why would she just go that's it Heather loves loves him and what's interesting is a podcasting was around today she would have done that she would have never answered my calls and she would have done a tell all about that i stole johnny sanchez from her which you put it behind her paywall

Like the next day when you weren't calling Johnny Sanchez or you weren't hanging out with Johnny, like she would have been like, oh, I guess she's not into.

Or I can just ask Heather, are you into Johnny? Cause I kind of into him and you would go, oh no, he's short. We became friends after that. Like I did like a charity event for her. She was still doing a standup. We talked to the phone sometimes, then I got Chelsea and, you know, whatever.

But I was like, oh my God. And like I've talked to another friend that, like she goes, you know, we were just chatty. It was Jill's there and I drew a chatty about how she had this roommate in college and she never knew what happened. And she found out why the roommate hated her it was something you know with a rent or what I don't know what what and but then there

was this other friend that she still to this day doesn't know and I'm like I swear to God there's a few things that it went on my deathbed that or I'm going to be like can I make a wish there's these there's these four things I want to know about. Well, that one I found out about. Well, why am I not on the viewer of the talk? Okay. So who works there that hates my guts and why? And it really could just be one person. It probably is one person. Or it could just be, I just don't believe that you wouldn't give me a chance. Like, it could even be that someone's like, I don't think she's right. There's got to be something specific. And I'd like to know that I also don don't think she's right there's gotta be something specific.

And I'd like to know that. I also don't care as much. Then there's other things there's just other breakups of other people's lives that I'm curious about. Like Kelly Rippa and Jerry Seinfeld's wife. Why are they no longer friends? Oh, interesting. Jessica, well, I think she's probably a real person. But then I also think being that I've had friendships that are, and sometimes they're not, they're not that big

and we're never gonna know and we shouldn't know because it's a personal thing. Yeah, or, or, or. I don't think it's as salacious as people think. Well, exactly. I don't think they had a swinging forceome that went bad. No. I think it was just someone who's got some
