Juicy Scoot.
Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
of our return favorites. He is a knowledgeable pop culture king.
Zach Peter, welcome back to Juicy Scoop. How are you doing? I like this little distinguished
gray salt and purple. Okay, I don't know why. I've been getting so many comments about that.
I've had this for like four years. Well, not for it. When did I stop being blonde?
2024? Maybe that's why. It's been two years. But like late, I'm like, is my grain more? Because I feel like I've caught so many compliments.
It looks good.
Good.
I like it.
I'm gray everywhere.
Well, you're a young guy.
I know.
I'm only 33.
But yeah, I'm gray head to toe.
That's an Irish thing.
Is it?
Premature gray is more of an Irish trait.
Well, I am a good drinker.
I like it.
This just came out.
I saw that.
This was this couple, a man and a woman,
climbed up to the top, top, top, top of the Empire State.
building and then he had this sign when the power of love heats the love of power the world
knows i don't know it's waving and then he asked his girlfriend to marry him they both have been
arrested because you're not allowed to do this and all i thought about was sometimes i think
girls in romantic relationships with men oftentimes pretend they're into something more
sporty than they are.
Camping, boating, fishing, when they'd really just rather go to a four-seasons and have a
lovely dinner.
Yeah.
And I hope this is the case.
I hope this girl loves to climb and is not scared at all.
This is what they do.
They're professional climbers.
Oh, thank goodness.
I was actually researching.
I didn't even know we were talking about this, but I was researching on the way over here because
I was like, who are these couple?
How did they make it up?
I don't think they climb from the bottom.
I think they like took an elevator to a high floor and then somehow passed security to get up there.
Oh, okay.
But this is what they do.
And there was a Netflix documentary that they had taped themselves with like, I want to say like drones.
So what they do is they climb to the tops of these buildings and like film themselves doing this.
I mean, I guess this is the tallest one they've ever climbed to.
But they, you know, wanted to say that love beats power and that's how the world knows peace.
Oh, no, peace.
That's the word.
Yeah.
Well, you know, they look like.
they have good um triceps yeah on both of them like how do you and their faces are covered
yeah i guess so they would hope not to get caught or something but how are they not going to get
where are they going to run like you're at the top of the building they found you and um
my suggestion would have been to wait until july third and steal the thunder or some of the
Thunder. And also, there'd be less cops to catch you because they're all at Madison Square Garden,
allegedly, on July 3rd. I said on my last show, I think the whole Madison Square Garden thing
is a ruse to distract us. But it appears Heather was wrong. Yeah, same. I was like, this has to be,
like, a fake story that they leaked. But no, it seems like this, like, they are city permits. They got
rid of all the homeless people. They, like, you know, they're doing all of it. They, you know, they, I guess they did
a similar way of protective police bubble for the Knicks games and things.
So they certainly know how to do it as far as safety goes.
We know having it at the fanciest hotel, there isn't the right amount of safety.
Of course, when you're out, you know, in a beautiful setting outside with the water crashing,
there's too much elements of people being able to get in, fly over.
And she, they wanted a thousand person wedding.
So they're crazy.
You know, and we knew that it wasn't going to look like Madison's.
Like you could, it's just a huge space you could do anything with with all the money in the world.
And apparently they believe they're building a castle.
And which sounds weirdly tacky Disney, but maybe it'll be super.
I'm sure whatever it is will be all real flowers, beautiful furniture, polished silverware.
Like, I'm sure it will be stunning.
I hope so, because everything about it just sounds so tacky and terrible.
Like a thousand people at a wedding.
They have a castle that they're building.
inside of Madison Square Garden, like everything about it just sounds so unnecessarily over
the top, but also so cheesy at the same time.
You know, the thousand person thing, if you've got all the money in the world, okay, let's think
about the smart side of it.
And they're at a level that they have such a large staff, each of them, and worked with so many
people and have so many celebrity friends that help their staying at a certain level.
and so you sit down and you start to, you know, edit some people.
And by going, let's just have a thousand.
We invite all the people that work for us, like on a daily basis,
from the house manager to the tour manager to all those people.
We know she's really generous with her touring staff, like gave them bonuses.
So this way nobody is going to be mad that they weren't invited.
No one's getting resentful.
The stars that are their friends will be invited.
so they get to go.
And, you know, and of course,
no one, we're not screwing over a second cousin or whatever.
And so I think that's it.
They're just like, we could have done this and made it 300 people
and pissed off 700 people that could affect our livelihoods, our reputation.
Those 700 people are doing TikToks about what a fucking bitch.
Yeah.
They both are.
And so I now think totally brilliant to do it.
there. I don't think they're both gay. Oh, the gay lore? Yeah, I don't think that's the case. I do think
they love each other. I do think they're excited to get married. I think there's probably a private
smaller thing happening the day before. Yeah, they have the reception the night before. That's 100
people. Which is essentially as a rehearsal dinner, which you normally have. And 100 is still
big, but not for them. And so then those people feel really special. But nobody that's not part of
the 100 is going to feel jinxed, or not jinxed, but, you know, blown off.
And then apparently their NDA doesn't really have penalties.
Now, they'll be collecting phones for sure.
And I assume it's something where, you know, if you really want to go check on your sitter,
you just go up, you ask for your phone, you go outside and you make a call.
But which also makes an event so freeing.
Yeah.
Because there's that panic in our world.
when you are, have a phone and you see celebrities,
you see people, you know, and you're like,
this would be a waste of a night if I don't get a photo with them, you know?
And then so it's like, it kind of ruins your good time.
So the times have gone to weddings, Lance Bass's wedding,
which was like the first televised gay wedding.
And it was so fun.
That one was put your phone away.
And it really made it like you're in the moment, you know,
and you're not thinking about.
And there's photographers.
You'll get the photos, you know.
Yeah.
predict there's going to be like a vogue or a
Vanity Fair exclusive that'll have the
exclusive photos.
I think to your point about
not having phones, like I'm sure there will be
activities and things going on. I mean,
who Tim McGrath is supposed to be performing?
Stevie Nix, of course, she
loves both us artists and
I love both those artists. I mean, that'll be
great. They won't be doing the, they won't be doing
25 songs each. They're probably each going to like
do two or three. Well, it is a 10-hour
wedding. So that's a long time to not be
with your phone, though.
But the way it works like
The original comedy club that started this
Where they take your phone is in
At the Comedy Works in Denver
Is there
They put it in a thing that's sealed
Yeah
And you keep it
So if it's buzzing and it's your sitter
You go outside of the stand-up venue
And you go to the person outside
And they'll open it for you
And then outside of the comedy venue
You can make a call
Yeah
I don't know if they're doing it that way
or if they're doing it that you just,
you can go and check it any time you want,
but you're going to have to make your call in this boring place
where there's no place to take a photo.
Yeah.
At the masters,
the golf masters,
they will not let you have a phone at all,
which is a long day and you're out and,
you know,
and it's also very freeing.
But it's like old school.
We'd be like, okay,
we'll meet you at three o'clock at this spot.
It's true.
And it's a wedding.
It's, you'll be okay.
And there'll be a way to check it, I'm sure.
But yeah, it is.
It comes at 3.30 is cocktail.
Yeah.
Wedding is starting at like...
5.30.
Yeah.
And then dinner partying.
All night.
It's going to be amazing.
I'm sure to be lovely.
And I mean, it sounds tacky that she's building, you know, a Disney castle inside
of Madison Square Garden, but I think it's going to be fine.
I just love that she's literally having a thousand guests and not one of them is Blake
lively.
Could you imagine you're down the street from your god, the godmother of your...
children, your former best friend of over a decade, and she's getting married down the street,
and a thousand people are at this wedding, and you're not.
Like, that is just gold.
Well, let's just move this up right here.
Speaking of, breaking news, you do have a doctorate in Baldoni v. Blake, or Blake
versus Beldoney, Blake lively asked for nearly 8 million attorney's fees, court costs from the
Beldoney and Wayfarer. Can you explain this? Yeah. So the case for the most part is done.
They've settled. None of them got any money out of it. But there was a small pending order that
she had filed last summer where she wanted him to pay for her attorney's fees because remember he
sued over defamation and that defamation claim didn't, it didn't move forward. So the judge said,
okay, I will grant a small, there's a me too law that's very new here in California that allowed for
her attorney's fees to be recovered because he did not prevail with his defamation case.
So with that, and it's a very limited and sliver of a portion, it's one claim and it's very
limited in terms of the amount of hours or the time, the scope of time that she's able to
clock in for. But so she had to turn in what her attorneys charged her for that time period,
and she's claiming that it was $8 million. Seven and a half million were for attorney's fees,
and then $500,000 are for costs.
And she put everything from the $6 binder
to her attorney's $1,400 hotel stay.
We learned that her lead attorney, Gottlieb,
charges $2,100 per hour.
Ooh!
Crazy.
And so she didn't submit any actual invoices,
but she submitted a long list of expenses
that she would, like, recovered.
It's highly unlikely she'll get anything close to that.
But the judge has to make a decision,
and we'll see.
What's your prediction?
Will she get some?
Like two million?
I would say maybe one to 200,000.
I don't think she'll get a million out of this.
Because, again, you have to, and she even tried to make this argument.
So you don't get exact, when you get your attorney's fees recovered, you don't get the exact amount that you paid.
You get what the judge determines is reasonable.
And I think to the average person, you know, a defamation motion to dismiss $8 million is not a reasonable amount of money to spend on something as, you know,
small as that. So I think she'll get a good little chunk of change, but also her and Ryan Reynolds
have so much money that like doesn't really do anything. But if it took her $8 million to fight this
one charge against Justin, you can imagine how much they spent in the entirety of almost two years.
Now, I predict that she and her husband Ryan and their four kids will be on a very fun, far away
vacation this weekend
celebrating the 4th of July
piggyback rides she'll do a piggyback ride
on Ryan's back just to show that she
he can lift her and they'll be rolling
around they'll be doing kids they'll be doing something
funny about fireworks and it'll be that
to distract that even if we were invited
we would we'd much rather be
in this beautiful location with our four kids
having family time well that was the story there was a
story that came, I think, last week that
said that Taylor had
offered an olive branch and that Blake
was invited to the wedding, but if
you don't see her there, then just know it was
her decision to not attend the wedding.
Oh, how did that story get out? I wonder.
And then six hours later, like
someone presumably Taylor Swift's camp, like
immediately shut down that. That was like a whole new
story saying that Blake was absolutely not invited to
the wedding.
It was funny.
No, she, you know, I am
not a super-dover swifty,
Swifty, but I know obviously she's had many famous ex-boyfriends who then have gone on to date
other girls, some of whom she's friends with, some of whom she's not.
So I don't really know the whole guest list, but who is Harry Stiles engaged to right now?
I don't even know.
He's invited.
And she had dated Harry Stiles at one point.
Yeah, she indicted him at one point.
Well, whoever the girl that he's dating or engaged to, I heard somewhere that girl's
invited.
Yeah, Carly Klaus, Selena Good.
Gomez, Ed Sheeran, the Hame sisters.
There are quite a few big names coming.
I would love for her to invite her exes.
What about all those girls that were in her squad?
Remember that?
Gigi Hadid.
She's going to be there.
Blake, who's not going to be there.
Who else was on the squad?
Carly was that Carly's who she's rumored to be in a lesbian relationship with.
Oh, that's fun.
Yeah.
So she has her lesbian girlfriend there.
I don't think she's gay.
I don't think he's gay.
I mean, I don't know.
I think when I questioned the validity of their relationship until I saw them on the podcast together, remember when she came on his podcast?
And I was like, okay, they're kind of like into each other.
And like, I don't know, she's somebody that gives me the impression that she's like, she loves love.
And so she gets infatuated with these guys.
I think he likes her.
And I think he loves her fame.
And I think he loves the level of celebrity she's elevated him to.
And I think that's motivation enough for him to stick with it.
but I think she's into him.
I am going to go back to my original thoughts,
which is that yes, they're a real couple.
Yes, they love each other,
but they also love what each person brings the table
and what they stand for.
It's super cool that she's dating this very well-liked guy
who has a well-liked brother,
who has a top podcast.
She's a great football player who America likes.
Yeah.
And so that's cool,
and that he's kind of masculine.
He's not a singer, though he wants to be, which scares me.
And then I also think that she, you know, is a traditional gal and, like, wants and definitely wants to get married before she's pregnant and have a couple kids for sure.
Yeah.
I mean, and listen, she was like a loser in high school.
So she got her fantasy of like winning the football.
Exactly.
I'm on the, I'm in the bleachers.
Yeah, she got it.
Yeah.
And she probably always had a fantasy about getting married in a.
castle or with the castle and you why not have every single fantasy that you ever had you've worked
your whole life to um and you have so much money and so much success and the same thing let me have
everybody that i do truly love and care about i want there i don't want to i don't have to cut people
off to because the hotel only will allow a wedding of you know 350 so i think it's all smart i wonder
whose idea was that's who i want to know in toronto every arrival
is a statement, and nothing says it better than this.

Dave Portnoy, he is the owner of Barstool Sports extremely successful.
He claims that Alex Cooper of Collar Daddy and Sophia Franklin, the original co-host of Collar Daddy.
now Sophia has her own show,
planned to say they were sexually harassed
to get out of a bar stool contract.
This all comes from his book,
which are reader here,
who likes to read books,
knows how to read books,
whether they're court docs
or actual books written by Dave.
I saw something else that's someone from his team,
and I think this is all part of a PR thing,
was saying that he's actually illiterate
and can't read her right.
That's just a funny joke
to get people to read the book, right?
Maybe.
I mean, he does open the book by saying, like, he committed to writing this book,
and then he regretted it because he doesn't like doing stuff.
Like, he doesn't like writing.
So I don't know.
But he gave the impression that he wrote it himself.
But, I mean, he could have totally gone with a ghostwriter.
But the book is actually good.
It's actually, I was surprised at how much I like him.
As a result of it, I didn't know much about him.
Obviously, I knew him as, like, the founder of Barstall, Barstall Sports.
And I kind of thought he was douche.
But, you know, and occasionally I would catch one of his rants on Instagram.
But I actually, like, really appreciated him.
throughout the book and just like what he built Barstool from.
And I didn't know.
It started in like 2003 is like a newspaper that he would print himself.
But yeah, the Alex Cooper and Sophia's story is crazy because they really hated each other behind the scenes.
Like they didn't see.
Sophia and Alex.
Okay.
I think so according to Dave, he came across, I think Alex's teaser for Call Her Daddy.
And he saw like a clip or something that she was doing to promote it.
and he reached out to her because his thing is like, I'm, I find talent.
He's like, I don't care if the talent, you know, uses Barstool as a launching pad and goes
and becomes Uber successful after us.
I just like to find and foster talent.
And he's like, when I saw Alex Cooper, he's like, I knew she was going to be a star.
And so I wanted to bring her into Barstool.
I told her we had all these resources.
We had this built-in audience.
And I just, he said he had a gut feeling about her.
So he offered her a deal to come in for $75,000 for a year to sign Caller Daddy to Barstool.
And she said, okay.
But I have to bring my co-host, who's my friend, Sophia, she's like in a girl to the show.
I have to bring her in.
And so he offered Sophia the same deal.
And then eventually they launch at bar or they, yeah, they launched the podcast with Barstool.
And it blows up.
It's super successful.
Then they start to see that it's just bringing in all sorts of money.
And he's even saying like it's keeping the staff paid.
It's keeping the lights on like Caller Daddy was a massive success when they launched it with Barstool.
And so then they start to ask for more money.
He gives them a bump.
He bumps Alex up to a thing.
15. He bumped Sophia up to 90. And he's like, it's because to me, the idea was always Alex's
idea. She was the real star. Sophia was the co-host that came with her that Alex, you know,
fought for it to be at the, you know, at the table with her. But he's like, I paid Alex more.
And he's like, that's where the first real issue came in was that Alex was making $60,000 more
than what Sophie was making. And so I guess there was Sophia's boyfriend who he claims was like
the real architect between the greed that seemed to be coming.
coming from the girls. Eventually, they started asking for even more money. They were asking
for like a million dollars each for their first year. And he's just like, you guys haven't even
finished the terms of your last contract. Like if you want to renegotiate, renegotiate at the end
of your contract, but you guys haven't even fulfilled what you originally signed for and you're asking
for this astronomical amount of money. So then he started to play them against each other because
he found out that they didn't really like each other. Like he started to hear rumblings and
they would kind of, I guess, shit-talk each other. And so then he offered to,
pay them each $500,000.
And then after the, fulfill your contract, I'll pay you $500,000 per year.
And once your contract is done, you're free to leave.
And so made them the offer.
And I guess they, Sophia wanted to hold out for more money because at that point,
her boyfriend was shopping the show around to other networks.
And that's when Alex called him and she's like, I'll take the deal, but I don't want
to do it with Sophia.
Ooh.
And so I guess he actually admits that he leaked the story.
I forgot which outlet he leaked.
to, but he says that he leaked the story that the two of them weren't getting along behind
the scenes. And it wasn't Alex and Sophia versus Barstool. It was Alex versus Sophia. And then I think
that's what got them to really turn on each other because I think they thought the other party
leaked it. And he was the one that actually leaked it. And he reveals that on the book.
As someone who didn't really know what was going on, but knew of them. I felt for Sophia, because
then they like took this couple weeks off. Yeah. And the fans who were so addicted to the show,
then when it came out
like it was Sophia that was holding out
and it was because of this greedy boyfriend
it was like
I felt that the narrative out there
was very anti-Sofia
and I reached out to her
after it was done
and she came on my show and I was like
you know
this is so weird
because they made it like
you're just doing this for a guy
I'm like but actually
the guy was right. Like you guys did deserve more money and you should have more money. And,
you know, when I first started my podcast, I had to have an insider man tell me you are not making
enough. Yeah. Like do you have any idea how many people are, and I'm like, no, I really don't. Like,
I started making no money and I just am happy to like make no money and like whatever. And I didn't know.
And so it's so, you know, but I understood how it happened with the dynamics of them being young girls and then getting.
So then it's almost like Alex had Dave in her ear and Sophia had the boyfriend in the ear.
Yeah.
And that's kind of a bummer with women in business.
Like that sometimes it's sometimes it is harder for two women to be in a successful business forever where jealousy doesn't come into play.
I feel like men can do it better sometimes in general speaking.
And, you know, this was one of those cases.
I think had Alex not cut Sophia out, I think they could have both fought for more and probably could have prevailed because he even admits that when Alex called him and was saying, I want to move forward, but I want to cut Sophia out of the deal, give me the IP.
I'll take the 500 that you're offering me right now.
I'm not going to ask for anything more, but just cut Sophia out.
and Dave was like, okay, yeah, like, I'll give you the deal.
We're all in agreement.
He says he made Sophia the same offer, but she wasn't responding.
And then he gave the deal to Alex.
And he's like, well, how would you even, he's like, I could sue you guys for breach of contract if you even try to walk away from Barstall Sports.
And she said, well, no.
And she claims that Sophia.
Ooh, ooh, Alex.
Yeah.
Alex claims that Sophia and her boyfriend were the ones that were planning on lodging the sexual harassment allegations against Barstall.
stool. And so she's like, I don't like that that's the route that they want to take. Yeah. So she's like,
I'm just going to jump in. But if I jump in, Sophia's out. And so he cut Sophia out. And then eventually
he said he did hear from Sophia. And she said, okay, I'm in. And he said, well, call her daddy's given to
Alex. But if you want to stay here, you can keep the 500 and you can have your own show. And he talks about
how, you know, in his mind, he wanted the two of them at the same network because then they would
basically be fighting with each other. And he could capitalize off of their
feud back and forth. And he's like from a business
perspective, I was willing to do that because I wasn't
burning Alex because I technically cut Sophia
out of Caller Daddy, but then I was still giving
Sophia the opportunity to have her show
and her side of the story.
And you know, Alex... That's juicy. And that would have
been a perfect, but I think
Sophia ended up going to another network
and getting her Sophia with an F podcast
and they probably paid her
more than the $500,000. But he's like,
I did still honor the offer of $500,000,
but it just wasn't going to be
on Call Her Daddy. And,
And he's like, and I knew after they signed if both of them or one of them signed for the 500, he's like, I knew once the contract was up, they were going to leave.
But he's like, I just wanted them to fulfill what they had promised with the time frame that they had committed to Barstool.
And then he's like, that's when Alex Cooper left and sold to Spotify for $60 million.
And then now I think she's at Sirius for like $250 million.
Okay.
What I think is interesting about this people title article, which is in the book.
I think it's very dangerous
because I do feel
partly Blake lively
things like this
there is something that is kind of happening
which is like
it's like a reverse me towing of a woman
it's like someone
saying
she said she was going to sue you for sexual harassment
she said that you tried to rape her
and there is no
lawsuit filed
there is no went to the police department
apartment, but the rumor starts.
Yeah.
And it's such a horrible accusation.
Yeah.
That then this thing now is really like reflecting poorly on Sophia where there's no
proof of it.
Yeah.
So I just want to say there's no proof of it.
It doesn't mean that it wasn't told to Dave.
Doesn't mean that it wasn't told to Alex.
And then she said it doesn't mean that anybody necessarily is lying, but it may have never
been something that Sophia was really going to do.
It could have been in passing.
It could have been like, it could have been the boyfriend saying,
you're telling me that this guy that's all, his whole show is about how to get laid and sex and everything.
Like, come on, it won't look great if he screws you over.
It could have been that much, which then could have been, oh, you know, we're going to pull sexual harassment claims.
Because that really infuriates everybody because it's like, if you're a woman, you know a man that you would.
be very mad if they were falsely accused or you have a son or whatever. And I kind of feel like
we're in this weird era now or it's a little, you know, it's a little risky to accuse someone of
fixing to do that if they really didn't do it. Yeah. You know? Yeah. I mean, and I'm curious to see
what Sophia's side of the story is. I know she has her book that's coming out in a few months. I'm going to
read that. Dave does reference that her book is coming out. He's like, I don't know what she's going to
reveal in the book. I don't know if she, for all I know, she, for all I know,
she may tell exactly the truth,
exactly how it went down just from her perspective.
He's like,
but he thinks,
I guess he believes that that was the original plan,
which like you just said,
I think it could have been something like in passing
or a very passive comment of like,
you know,
or maybe you're in the heat of the moment
and you're just like,
well, if he tries to,
we can always say that he grabbed your butt.
And like,
you don't mean it,
but it could just be something
that you flippantly say
in, you know,
the heat of the moment
that Alex then took
and used to her advantage
and she got what she wanted.
It could have been when Dave's trying
to gain the trust of Alex, like he said, to separate them, triangulate, you know.
He could have been like, I mean, let me tell you, what is she going to say?
She's going to say that I, you know, touched her or like I wanted her.
She's not even my type.
He could have brought it out.
And then Alex would have been like, I don't know.
I just know I'm not comfortable with this guy.
She's dating.
And I just want to break.
I don't want to do this anymore.
And he could also have been him being like, look, you know, we only needed Beyonce.
You didn't need the two other people.
I mean, how many people have left a band and done just fine?
You know what I mean?
We just talked about Harry Styles.
Everybody usually started, you know, with more than, not everybody, but I'm saying.
It happens.
And in podcasting, there's been a lot of podcast breakups.
And they're not the first two best girlies that have broken up and decided like one person is doing more work than the other.
and all that. Yeah. So that's very interesting. And then what was the thing about he, he bought the company for a dollar and then he sold it for he.
He sold the company and then he, I guess, was unhappy because he was, he sold the company, but he still worked at the company. He was kind of the face of the company. But he's like, but my salary had never changed. They'd never offered me anything more. He's like, so I was basically still working for what I was working for when I sold it initially. And then I think he turned himself into,
From COVID and all of the projects that he invested in,
he was able to then buy the company back,
but I think he bought it back for a dollar or something like that.
I'm in the middle of that chapter right now.
Oh, okay.
But yeah, he talks, he was talking about that.
There was something about like he sold it and then he bought it back.
Does he talk about any regrets about not being a fan of sunscreen?
No, not at all.
He does acknowledge that he's not the best looking guy,
but he said that the...
It's more about the...
It's more about the...
The fact that I don't think this guy wears sunscreen, he's always doing tea by the sea,
he needs to wear a hat, and he needs to maybe get a laser treatment or two.
That's all.
I just worry about skin care.
Well, he says that the whole caller, her daddy drama is what made him more attractive
because then suddenly girls were sliding into his DMs.
And I'm like, they looked at that leather face and were like, that's what I want to jump on.
Maybe they just saw the money.
I don't know.
But they were like, they liked my personality.
And they were sliding into my DMs.
And I think that's why he likes to now do like pop culture topics and stuff like that.
Yeah, he's doing just fine in life.

I'm Darmann, and this is what happens next.
Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people
who have faced tremendous setbacks,
and yet somehow have found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
Life is one long lesson of chaos.
I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
When your free will was a...
about to be taken from you. What would you do if it was given back? Where did that need come from
where you thought that you had to succeed in order to feel loved? He said, I have a work dad. I need a
home dad. What happens next? When I came in he started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
What defines them is not those hard moments that they go through. It's about what happens next.
I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
Listen, Dar, Dar, I'm not going to pull punches. You can use your voice even.
if it's shaped. The stories are different, but the impact is the same. Only one question matters.
What happens next? Um, now talk about love. Jesse Smollett and Karamo Brown are dating. Let me remind you who
these two guys are. Jesse Smollett was the actor from Empire who faked his own, uh, racial attack by the
two guys he claimed were wearing masks and put a noose around his neck when he went out to get a
subway sandwich at two in the morning when it was 40 below zero in Chicago. And then it turned out
that it was these two guys that he was paying to do it. He still to this day claims he's innocent.
He's innocent. He doesn't know why those two personal trainers that were extras on Empire,
that then became his personal trainers that he paid money to, are lying.
to say that and that this really did happen to him.
He obviously isn't getting the acting work that he used to.
I did just see him perform at a pride situation.
In Harlem.
I don't think the singing is where it's at, my personal opinion.
And then Karamo is one of the second generation of queer eye for the straight guy.
He was in the news recently because he too.
claim to be a victim of everything, racism, mean gay guys.
The other gay guys on the show excluded him. They made fun of him. And apparently they were
talking about him behind his back and his mother was hearing the, hearing it just like, remember
that movie with Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant? You might not remember. Nottie Hill.
It's like he was dating her. And then someone's like, here, you want to listen to what the,
what they're saying, you know, while they're filming the movie,
so he puts on the headset and she's like,
ugh, I'm so over the sky.
Anyway, they end up together.
But the point is, his mother, I guess, heard them,
kind of mock him, and they were mean gays.
And he therefore didn't go on the tours,
the press tour,
were all four of them were holding hands.
And they were united front.
They felt they were being bullied.
He felt he was being bullied.
I think this is a perfect pairing.
I think they are two victims made in heaven
that found each other, two thirst buckets.
Yep.
The world can marginalize them together.
Because like I just, I can't,
I don't, I tried to, like,
I was trying to buy into the Caramo story
and I was like, I'm sure the other gays on queer eye were mean.
Like, they can be clicky,
and I'm sure they were kind of mean to him.
But he also kind of sounds like he was annoying
and like a perpetual victim and everything as well.
And so I just, I don't know, they are quite the pairing, the two of them.
Yeah.
And he, I think it was Karamo.
Imagine the breakup, though.
Because gays are dramatic and these two are perpetual victims when that breakup goes down.
Because this is not going to last.
They will both be going on a podcast tour.
Oh, I can't wait for that.
First they'll start to say, I'm not going to tell the story.
I'm not going to tell the story.
And then, well, since he told the story now,
I'm going to tell the story.
And yeah.
I, you know, but there you go.
Love, love.
Also, you know, Portia and her girlfriend named Sway are just having the time of their lives.
I was watching Portia's Instagram.
They went to Bali.
And she is just, they have their fruit on the floating thing in the pools.
And they're just having the best time ever.
and it's great. I think it's
it's kind of great. But like
remember like in Atlanta like
you know she had the husband that people
they thought the husband was gay, the first
husband. Then she had
the hot dog guy that she got the baby
from and he sort of
seemed like a whatever average or whatever
cheater. Then she got the
husband that was dating the friend
who was some
Nigerian
whatever shady person because then
And she realized he didn't really have that much money.
So then she got divorced from him.
And then she was dating a guy, another guy, and then met Sway and was like, well, I'm by.
I'm going to say.
And now she's with Sway.
And so now she's like, I'm a full-blown lesbian.
You're always a little bye before you become gay.
It's on the way?
Yeah.
I feel like with women, it's so not a big deal.
Because so many women partake or will make out with somebody in a bar.
that's a girl or they will participate in a threesome in Vegas and it you know don't really mind
and the guy doesn't ever question that his girlfriend or wife could be gay because she's going
down on this girl that he also gets to screw so it's just kind of like well I don't want to point out
the obvious because I'm about to screw her too and you just are like okay yeah it's it is what it is
but I don't do we think this is going to last I feel like this is like when lindsay lohan was lesbian
for a minute. Oh, remember that. You know, I follow that
woman who's a DJ. Sam Ronson?
Yeah. And now she honestly
just looks like an English teacher
that can do DJing.
Like, because now she's like... Everyone's a DJ these days.
Yeah, she's like 45, which you're right.
Now, a lot of old women, a lot of houses, all the
housewives are going DJ around. Meredith, Erica.
They're all DJs now. Derinda.
Yeah. I feel like there's another one.
Kyle. No, Kyle doesn't DJ.
Kyle Cook.
Oh, Kyle Cook. Yeah.
I don't know. She may go to Aspen and start DJing
to some country music.
Well,
okay. And then
going over to Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,
Taylor Frankie Paul,
apparently, first,
there's lots of news with her,
not all great.
But one positive thing for her
will be the rumor
that they are going to air
her season of The Bachelorette.
Yeah.
But after today,
that was last week news.
And then right after that,
She apparently was in a like a rehab facility for mental health.
And somewhere around there, Dakota called the cops saying that she violated the order with their two-year-old son ever about drop-off or pickup or who's in charge of drop-off or pickup.
And she kind of made some comment in a story that then she deleted like, oh, really interesting, that this person like calls the cops on me again.
Yeah.
Does it have to do anything with this possibly her getting to air this?
Yeah, now they're probably not going to air it.
I'm sure they're so dead.
I mean, just when they think, like, maybe we will, if this is even a true rumor,
then this comes out that even if he didn't call the cops,
going to an inpatient facility for mental health,
though it's good if you need it, it's really fucking sad and serious.
Yeah.
When you have three kids at home.
Yeah.
And it makes us all say, this chick should not be on reality TV.
This chick should not make social media her livelihood.
Is there any other way that she could make money or survive or have some type of coach with her that has her do?
Maybe someone does all the content, but like she doesn't really answer it.
I don't know.
But I don't know how this girl is supposed to survive.
She can't do this.
But at the same time, like it's not healthy, obviously.
And then after this instance.
And another incident with her former husband, Tate Paul, who is the father of her eight and six-year-old children, he has filed to have full custody again.
And restraining order.
And restraining order. So something happened with them.
Yes. I think he was already in the process of doing that, though, when Dakota filed his restraining order.
Because remember, TMZ had a, like, surveillance footage of them at the courthouse running into each other.
So I think Tate may have started this a while ago.
So using the legal stuff all caught up with each other.
It wasn't like this all happened in three days.
Correct.
I think the Tate thing is something that TMZ picked up on.
But I think Tate has been in the process of doing that.
Because from what I understand, Tate didn't even see the video.
Because remember there were all those like police calls with Tate where he didn't even realize how bad the chair throwing situation was.
Yeah.
And then he was talking to the cops and saying that like Taylor's mom was trying to coach the little girl.
what to say to the police and say that she wasn't injured,
even though she had like a goose egg.
It was a whole thing.
So I think he has realized that there's just a lot to her that he doesn't think is in the best interest of the kids.
But he filed a restraining order.
He's fighting for full custody.
I think she's just a mess.
And I don't know how she comes back from this because I think her being on social media is not healthy
because it just like enables her to continue to behave this way and then be the victim in all of this.
I did see something in between the original like Bachelor Bar and the Barstools being thrown that she did like make an announcement for a show that she bought her own house.
Yeah.
Did you see that?
And she bought her house and I don't know.
It's like I said, it's just kind of a weird thing because with these reality shows with these 30 somethings and their young kids, which we'll get into a minute with the Valley too.
It does.
There is a, there is a lot of drama, but it's sad.
because it's involving really young kids.
Yeah.
You know?
And it's not a 45 real divorcing their husband
after being on the show for three years of real housewives
and the kids are 17 and 19.
Yeah.
It's not that.
It's like, ooh.
It's sad and it's hard to watch.
Yeah.
You want to watch reality TV for like it's escapism,
whether that's like the crazy drama of 20-somethings
cheating on each other and it's messy and there's no stakes.
Nobody has anything to lose.
But when you get into this bracket.
You're right.
Or like the 48-year-old who's like finally, fuck off, fucker.
And you're rooting for her.
Yeah, I'm going to have my own candle shop.
Yeah.
And my kids are grown and now it's, and then now it's me time, you know?
Then you're like, yeah, you're right.
Yeah.
Good for you, bitch.
Yeah.
Good for you, Broadwin for getting rid of ugly Todd and unsalt.
Like we're all for that.
Your kid is grown.
He was a grump.
Yeah.
You're screwing a model.
Good for you.
But then there's these other cases where you're like,
Yeah. Like the valley is really hard to watch.
So let's get into that. But first, Layla, I talked about this the other day. So she came out. She is also on Secret Lives of Born Wives. And she said a girl slid into her DMs and now she's talking to her. Now, what is so weird about the younger generation is that when you guys are actually having sex with someone, but you're not in a full commitment, you use the word talking.
I'm talking to this girl
There's talking, there's dating
Drake had a friend over
And the guy goes, oh well I'm talking to this girl
Yeah
But Drake said oh his girlfriend
You know?
Yeah
It is his girlfriend
But the talking part
It's like
To me that's like
You're literally just talking
Like for my gender
You're just talking
Yeah
Because if I wouldn't
In my day we'd say
We're dating
That means
We're either kissing
Touching a boob
touching a dick
or full-blown sex, but we're just not legally boyfriend and girlfriend.
Correct.
But talking can mean you've been boning for a year.
Yeah, I mean, I have so many guys that I've been talking to for like a decade.
Like, I keep them in, I have like a shelf and I just keep them in rotation.
But you are a talker.
You made a career out of talking, but then there's a whole other.
Oh, because they don't even talk.
This is them talking, you know, and they send boob pictures and then they're not even really talking.
They're just, I don't even know what they're doing.
It's so non-committal.
Nobody seemed to care about this, though I've now talked about on a t-shirts.
But anyway, I'm like, who's lit into her D-A-D-O-Diaz?
And I'm like, is it Morgan Wade?
I'm going to make you love me.
Somebody said they went to the Dutton, whatever, Dutton Ranch spinoff show,
and she's a bartender on it.
And everyone, like, girls were writing me and being like,
I just want to walk up to her and say, I'm going to make you love Mike,
because I always sing that song.
But wouldn't that be funny if it was Morgan Wade?
That would be.
And I feel like Layla would do something like.
Like Layla's just that girl who's so young.
She's Raquel, right?
When she was trying to date James Kennedy.
Like she's that girl.
She has no identity.
She doesn't know who she is.
She doesn't know what she wants.
So she's kind of just like going with the wind.
And now she's in a world where social media and reality TV have given her attention.
And now that none of them like look at Jesse.
And I adore Jesse.
But like Jesse and Marciano constantly like playing this game of like we're dating.
We're not like.
It's so thirsty to me.
And nobody seems to care about that either.
No.
And that's why these girls now just seem like they're so desperate to clamor onto any sort of attention because it's like you gave them all of this attention.
And then it's been ripped away because they're not filming the show right now.
So it's like they don't know what to do.
And I'm like, it must feel very, it does feel very weird because it feels like that's all we talked about.
Not we, but the internet was very big on Secret Lives and Mormon wives like a year ago.
They were just the biggest, hottest things.
And you're right.
It must feel a lot quieter when they open their phones.
And I'm not saying it's not real.
But she probably, if the attention was all on her and like that was seven months ago,
would she have been so quick to announce it on a podcast?
I don't think she would have needed to.
And Jay Shed, like, I was like really like, also Jay Sheddy, this is 2026.
A coming out story is like, what is this Ellen on the cover of People magazine 30 fucking years ago?
Yeah.
I'm by on a podcast.
instead of, yep, I'm gay on people.
Right. Or I'm launching my girlfriend of eight months and we're in a serious committed relationship.
And we're talking.
This is so like, oh my God.
I was like, I literally do not care.
But I just think she doesn't know who she is.
And she's at that age where you're kind of discovering yourself too because she's like the youngest on the cast.
I also feel like she never really had a juicy storyline.
Nobody really cared.
She wasn't with her husband anymore.
She was dating this other guy that was somehow related to somebody else.
nobody really cared.
She was really pretty.
And she got nice, big boobs.
She's thin.
She had issues with her hair being done by Jesse.
And I think that was about it.
That was basically it.
There wasn't anything else.
But now if they dumped her, it would look really bad.
So I do think it's kind of, whether it was strategic or not, probably wise to do.
Yeah.
The Valley.
We talked a little bit about the Valley.
Oh, speaking of Wills.
Let me see if it's here.
But the Valley, DJ James Kennedy is expecting a baby with his 23-year-old girlfriend,
and he did ask her to marry him in Lake Cuomo.
And so then I was looking at his Instagram, and he's doing really good.
He's still doing DJ gigs all over.
He seems really happy to have a baby on the way.
She, again, is only 23, very young.
she slid into his DMs too
and then she came out to visit him and never left
and that was only seven months ago
pretty short to get pregnant
anyway but he was there at the Vanderpump
hotel launch
he was only he was one of very few people
from that era even there
was Tossi there? No was she?
I don't know I mean obviously she has a great relationship
with Lisa I don't remember if I saw that
But do you think if this show continues the Valley,
do you think there's any chance that DJ James Kennedy
and his girlfriend, who will now have a child,
would ever be asked to come back on this show?
I don't think so.
I don't think the show is on its last leg.
I don't know how they even save it at this point.
The issue with the Valley is they have so many cast members,
which is part of why I don't think the show will ultimately,
succeed because the more cast members you have, the more money you have to pay them all. So it becomes
expensive to keep this show going with each new season. I imagine Lala salary was not cheap to join the show.
Schwartz, I'm sure, would take whatever $5 they threw him to buy a little Caesar's pizza for the night.
But Lala, I'm sure, has a big salary. But the issue with the show is there's nobody that you're rooting for.
There's no hero arc. There's no, you know, like I don't know who.
I think I'll tell you the hero arc.
The one that everyone that you like is Michelle.
But do we even really like her?
I like her.
She got rid of her ex, Jesse.
Yeah.
And she had a really good moment where she's like,
I see you with you new girlfriend.
And that's nice.
But it also makes me realize that you never really did love me that way.
And you were capable of it.
Yeah.
Maybe for the last few years,
she just told herself he's not affectionate.
He's not this.
Maybe it's because we work together.
Whatever she told herself, she then saw this.
And I thought that was probably the most interesting moment of the season.
And then the fact that she's dating Dr. Dre, even though he has pretty problematic past with exes and things, he's an older, super, super successful guy.
So that's kind of exciting.
She is selling houses all the time.
So she's still keeping up her normal career.
So if she doesn't stick, she's not,
she doesn't feel as thirsty as the other people to stay on the show.
And so I think she's probably the one that has, you know,
maybe last year people didn't feel they liked her as much,
people that are fans of the show.
But I think she's probably had the best arc.
Probably.
But the issue is there are so many cast members that have to share screen time
that it washes over her.
Because I would agree, that moment with her and Jesse was probably one of
the more powerful scenes we've had this season.
Yeah.
But I completely forgot about it because I'm too busy watching Britney shit in a diaper
with her boyfriend that she has to pay to pick up her meds that she's not even getting.
You know?
Because he's taking him.
If I did pick him up, who doesn't want a little viking on a slow Sunday?
Jesus.
Exactly.
So it's just like there's no, you know, and I love the issues, there's so many people.
So many of them are so unlikable.
And the hard part is you have Michelle, who I think,
would have had that hero arc
if there wasn't so many other people
taking screen time. But then you also have
characters, stars
like Lala and Kristen Doty, who I feel
like are also just being completely overshined
because they don't even get to really give us
these good moments that they would typically give us
because whether you like Doty or Lala,
and I know a lot of people feel mixed about both of them,
but they're both great reality stars
that can deliver good reality TV moments.
And when you have too many people
that are crowding them, then yeah, you kind of lose those stars.
And Britney, I don't want to watch Britney anymore.
I'm so over Britney and Jacks.
And I just, I want to root for Britney for Cruz's sake because, like, you know, I feel
bad that Jacks was like not the best husband to her.
But like, I don't need to see her go through this mommy makeover journey with this
boyfriend that's clearly only with her for the show.
He's gone now.
Thank goodness.
And, but one thing that I thought was really interesting.
is, of course, I follow Zach Peter
and everybody showed No Filter
with Zach is the name of his podcast
and YouTube and everything else.
And you did a Bravo hot take
about how you feel that Jack's
really the love of his life was Stasi
and he never really got over that.
Yeah, I think he was the last woman that she,
she was the last woman that he ever really loved
and I think you can see that.
And I think the biggest,
the biggest tell sign, which kind of clicked to me, was there was all that weird drama over Stasi's wedding.
Remember, he was talking crap about Bo. He's talking crap about the wedding. They're saying that they're going, but they're not really sure if they're going.
And that caused this big issue between Brittany and Jaxx with Stossie and Bo because they were really pissed because they had a scale down wedding.
And they had two spots that they said they could have given to somebody else that really wanted to be there.
And Jacks was talking shit about the wedding for weeks. And I was like, it didn't make any sense to me why Jacks would even care that much or why it was such a big deal that they would have to go and whatever.
and I think it's because he still can't accept that he lost her.
I think he always loved Stasi.
I think, you know, she was difficult to deal with back then when they were young, but as was he.
But eventually she grew up.
She matured and she's really in her element.
Her career is at an all-time high.
She has a wonderful husband.
She has two beautiful kids.
She gets to be the breadwinner.
And like that I'm sure is hard for Jacks to see when he has.
And not that I have anything against Brittany personally, but the issue with Britney is she was
so insecure and probably because she allowed him to get in her head where she was such a beautiful
woman when she came to Los Angeles and then here she is getting plastic surgery for him and constantly
having to defend him cheating on her and him being a jerk to everybody. Like she, Britney is the wife
that you want because she will hold it down for you and she will make sure the kids are taking
care of the bills are paid. Like Britney is the wife that you want. It just wasn't the wife that
Jacks wanted and it didn't matter what Brittany did, whether it was getting new boobs or going on
Jenny Craig to lose all this weight to try and get him to choose her.
He was just never going to choose her.
And I think because the last person that he wanted was Stasi.
And he tattooed her name on his arm.
And he was constantly trying to win her back.
But once she was done, she was done.
I think it's a very interesting take.
I don't totally agree.
I think what happened was I don't think he wasn't over Stossi.
didn't want to go to the wedding.
I think he, like a lot of people,
when they commit to doing something that's expensive,
going to Italy, they were already,
I don't know if they're already married,
but they already had a child.
Yeah.
So it wasn't like she was going to be the runaway bride.
I mean, it was just like they were having a beautiful wedding.
Clearly, Brittany and he were probably never in a good place
since the baby was born.
And it seems like they're sex like never got back on.
track, you know, whatever. Life can change a lot no matter what when you bring a child into it.
They had special circumstances. That probably made it very difficult for his ego and everything.
And so I think they weren't in a good place. He didn't want to spend that money. He was also
always stressed about the show. The show he was trying to get off the air for a long time.
And I think that's why he was also mean to Brittany when she wasn't feeling good when her stomach
was always sick and he blamed it on alcohol. Yeah.
Because that meant we might not be giving them good TV.
And if we don't give them good TV, then the show doesn't stay.
So get your fucking ass out of the bed and start doing something, getting in a fight with someone.
You in bed off camera isn't helping this without saying it in front of the cameras.
And so he would blame it on whatever else he could instead of just saying like, come on.
Because God forbid they're off TV again.
Like they did when they got fired from Vanderpump.
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see, you know,
supposedly, you know, Jack is sober.
Supposedly he works with sober places.
He, you know, is kind of coming back in my feet.
I see a little bit more.
If you will ever be at a level to kind of really reflect on all this,
truly, I don't think he's really been there yet.
That could be really interesting.
Like, if you really, to hear from his perspective,
if he ever gets to a place of really what he was thinking,
one of his motivations, being that his whole career has been reality TV for 20 years.
And he really was the number one guy in the group.
And then he got canceled.
Then he finally got this other show back on.
He got all these people rolls on it.
And then they, in his mind, turned against him, got him fired.
Zach's like, it's my show now.
And how that would be kind of fucking annoying.
Like, none of you would be here if it was.
Brittany wouldn't be here.
if it wasn't for me.
I brought her on the show.
And that's why when he said to Lisa Vanderpump,
this is my show.
She's like, excuse me, it's not true show.
He was the face of the show.
Yeah, which how well is her show doing
now that they're all gone?
Yeah.
Nobody's watching that Vanderpump Rules reboot.
Well, that's why I think it's smart
that she's just did it go into Vegas.
Start it fresh.
I think that's a much smarter.
Totally.
It's going to kill.
Because Lisa is a star.
Lisa Las Vegas.
Lisa Las Vegas.
Great title.
She can, you know, it'll feel fresh, her mentoring other people.
I had said it like two years ago.
Why didn't they do that instead of this reboot?
Yeah.
Because I'm like, they're in Vegas, you could really, it's like could be that fresh Hollywood aspiration.
They're all working at the cocktail lounge, but they all come from different places.
Yeah.
One person, their mother was a cocktail rachelress, but they want more in Vegas.
Another person is trying to be a comedian.
and another person's trying to be a singer.
Another person is a Cirque de Soleil hopeful.
Another person just wants to be a showgirl.
Like, if we followed, if they cast it right.
Yeah.
And these people actually have a relationship.
I think it's so fresh.
I just think the second round of Vanner Pump
just felt like a parody of an old reality show from 2008.
It just felt so unoriginal, even though it was new people.
Reheated nachos.
That's what I called it.
It was just a plate of reheated nachos
that just was never going to,
work. But also, like, to your point, too, Vegas still has that where you go to Vegas to be a show
girl or to be a comedian. Whereas L.A. doesn't have that Hollywood aspiration anymore.
It just doesn't anymore. People want to come here to be influencers rather than, you know, traditional
entertainment. And you don't need to work at a restaurant to be an influence anymore. You could just
go on Onlyfans and sell your butthole and then you can make money off of doing that. So, you know,
LA is just so different that you don't, I don't believe the.
sir, I'm a waitress
and I'm trying to launch my music video.
Like it's just...
I mean, when I read, when I read Stasi's,
not Stasi, sorry, Shita's book.
Yeah.
It was kind of sad because it was
that it kind of was, there was nostalgia
for the early 2000s of
where she was going, what she was hoping
for, dating all these guys.
Apparently she has been
banned from the Lisa Vanderpump
Hotel. Yeah. Lisa
will not forgive what
she said in the book.
Yeah.
Which basically.
my recollection, all she said, is that there were times that Lisa would call her and be like,
I need you to say this on camera today.
Yeah.
I guess that's breaking the rule, how magic is revealed.
To me, I didn't think it was that big of a coup.
But I guess it pissed off Lisa.
Yeah.
And that seems to be a trigger point for her, because it's always when people accuse her of trying to produce good TV.
Yeah.
That she gets sour about it.
But it's like, but you produce good TV.
Like, you know how.
how to be a good producer just like own that and if people like if anything take it as a compliment
and essentially you are in that place if you're in the boss mother role yeah you are telling them to do
things and you should do this you should apologize yeah he looks like he might be a cute bloke for you to
date like there could that's what it is yeah that's why it's going to work again hopefully in this
other i think it could be fun um so i don't know we'll see there are rumors about the valley and all
that. I don't know. It's, it's a hard watch. Okay. Summerhouse, Amanda Batula won't be a part of
Summerhouse. We know West won't be a part of Summerhouse. Sierra is doing this after show thing on the
very popular Love Island, but it doesn't seem like people really watch the after show. No.
And that takes her on an island, so she's like not out and about walking with her hot body everywhere.
But of course, she wasn't going to turn that down. I just don't think people care about
watching an after show and they have to watch it every night, right?
You have to watch Summerhouse every night.
Love Island.
Love Island.
What did I say?
You have to watch Love Island every night.
Yeah, it's like, it's already a big commitment and then to watch the after show, too.
And I just don't know if Sierra Miller is a strong enough name to pull people in.
Like, Ariana became a big name because Scandabal was like huge.
And like, Ariana somebody people wanted to root for was like, Summerhouse was not Vanderpump
Rules, right?
It didn't have that cultural impact.
And so the West and Amanda scandal didn't.
really hit as hard.
And so I just, yeah, I don't think anybody's watching the Love Island after show.
But so, yeah, I don't know if Sierra will be back or if she'll do cameos or what she's
going to do.
But I mean, if we lose West Amanda and Sierra, like, what's even left for this show?
It's going to be a lot of new people that hopefully they, maybe they have some threesome.
Maybe they have the Kristen Doty, Tom Sandoval, Jacks, and Stasi Forsome that was found.
When they found those four, all working at the restaurant together, have history, are dating, in toxic relationships, all trying to be actors, all funny and great personality.
I mean, that was lightning in a bottle.
So it's like maybe they have found some, like, small group of people that actually go to spend summers together that all are like, we should be on the show.
Like, I don't know.
This is what they should have done.
You may disagree with me because this is a hot take.
I think they should make this season of Summerhouse the farewell season.
This is what I said they should have done after Scandival with Vanderpump Rules.
Make it a shorter season so that all of the cast members know this is our last season.
So I will come, I'll deliver, and my commitment isn't very much because it's a limited amount of episodes.
And we know we have to have a conclusion by the end of filming.
And I think that that's what they should do with Summerhouse.
Make it a shorter season.
Focus it around Kyle, because he's the Kyle and Lindsay.
They're the anchors of the show.
bring back all the old legacy characters for cameos each episode.
The Workest Twins.
Stephen, you know, all the former Paige and Hannah.
Page and Hannah would come back for one weekend in the Hamptons to give, you know,
to do a farewell season, right?
You don't have to pay them a lot of money, you know, because they're really just doing one
cameo and they're doing it for the nostalgia, right?
So marketing it as the farewell season, we'll get everybody to watch it, just like Vanderpump
Rules.
If they would have marketed this as the final season of Vanderpump Rules, everybody would
have watched it, whereas so many people watched it reluctantly and hated it the entire time,
and then they scrapped it after the season didn't perform as well.
And so bring everybody back, do all the little legacy characters.
You can keep Amanda separate from Sierra, but you can have them go in different weekends,
have Kyle and Amanda have some sort of resolution, and then use that to fade Amanda,
or sorry, to fade Kyle and Lindsay and maybe Carl into this in the city, promote in the city,
and then-
People are not into into the city, though.
They're trying to make it happen.
Okay.
And in the city's not terrible, but to finish the thought.
And then revamp Summer House with a new batch of kids that are young, that are not in their 40s, that aren't married with kids.
Like, revamp that in a way.
And I think you can revamp that.
They have to be like between 25 and 33.
They just do.
That's the time that you would do this.
Young, single.
You wouldn't do it after that.
Yeah.
I think, speaking of, do you think that is the motivation?
for making a big 20th season of OC,
because people believe that might be the mindset behind
Real Housewives of O.C.
Is that they're going to reboot it?
No, that this is goodbye.
Oh, I think it should be.
I think it's time.
I think, like, you know, the thing,
the Housewives model has gotten,
because it's the same thing with Vanderpump Rules.
It's like in 2012, it was exciting
because you had all these young kids
that were moving to L.A.
that had to be bartenders and busboys in order to try to make it on the side as a DJ, a musician, an actress, a comedian like Ariana, you know, whatever they were trying to do at the time.
And so that worked for that model.
But pretending that in 2026 or 2025 that these kids still want to work at Sir off of the Hollywood Boulevard Strip, like, you know, it just doesn't land as much anymore.
I don't know.
But the Real House's OC situation, they just had like a, it's premiering the 20.
So they're bringing a couple people back.
Joe was on the red carpet.
Joe Dolores was season one.
However, I think that could happen only because these OGs are now making so much money per season.
Each time they get a bump up.
So several of them are up to a well over a million.
Some are getting close.
Emily and Gina, who we think are like newbies, are on their six or seventh year.
I think longer.
So it's a lot, they've been a long time.
Yeah.
And then of course, the Trace Amiga's all make like probably $1.5 million.
So that's a lot of money.
And I think then when you go over to real Housewives of Rhode Island, which was all new people,
which they saw those people at $60,000 a season.
And it was such a hit that I'm like, I, and they see the more.
and why is our hit.
I see there being a movement to finding new people that are maybe late 30s, early 40s
at a prime age where they can still give the network 10 to 20 years, but starts them off in a low
salary.
And like, so like maybe it'll be instead of O.C.
Maybe it's going to be San Diego.
Maybe it's going to be Santa Barbara.
Maybe it's going to be, you know, whatever.
Which I think is smart.
You need untapped cities.
right like road island was just so like nobody expected it yeah even salt lake city like that was kind of unexpected as well um whereas because like the fear is that they will just uh reboot the current franchise right like new york nobody gives a shit about the reboot of new york like literally nobody cares and nobody wants to watch this new season because they brought back carroll rad's will like nobody cares but if you pick these new cities with these new characters of women because like you're not really having a bunch of influencers
in Rhode Island.
But like in New York,
you're kind of getting that vibe.
And that's why I think a lot of those,
like the Brins and the Jizzles,
didn't really land because they're so disingenuous
because their lives or the site.
Like, their lives are lived through a filter on Instagram that's so curated.
Whereas like the Rhode Island girls were just,
you know, these real down-to-earth chicks that were willing to just give you everything
and make good TV.
This Rhode Island girl, Liz, who was the Dolores lookalike.
Yeah.
Who had a very juicy story and where her,
husband, she was a stepmother, but with her husband for 20 years, she was in her late 40s or
early 50s. She was rumored to be hanging out with this guy, Dino, who was a friend of the
husbands, saying like she had an affair with him while the husband went deep sea fishing for
seven or eight months out of the year. She said, no, we're just friends. He's looking, he's starting,
he's starting a trial for drug trafficking. And she,
after having a very entertaining season,
just announced,
as filming for season two begins,
I have made the decision to take a step back
and focus on my family,
my work, and my passions.
Now, she has a really good business,
I believe, business idea
with her lookalike Dolores from New Jersey,
which is a menopause gummy
from menopausal woman.
I think that's one of the best
real housewives things.
Menopause and gummies right now
are two hot topics.
And so I think at this point,
she isn't in a place
where she's using her brain,
she's in a vulnerable position
to put her family and her marriage
at a place that might not get to repair
if she does another season.
So I think she's being really smart
in not doing it.
And maybe she didn't enjoy the fame
as much as she thought.
That's the other thing.
Maybe she was like, you know what?
It wasn't as fun as I thought.
It's not worth it.
She's really wealthy.
Her house is fucking stunning
right on the water.
Like she doesn't.
need the money.
And this with the Dino and she just became a new grandmother to the stepdaughter.
Like I just think she's like, forget it.
Yeah.
At some point you have to realize like it's not worth it, you know, especially when you
have so much to lose.
Like it's not worth putting and exploiting your family on reality TV.
Look at how many housewives whose lives have been completely turned upside down.
And, you know, it's sad to then watch that.
Yeah.
And then, so this girl, Rula, and her podiatrist's husband, he was having an affair the whole time with this other woman that was part of his business in which they, they're in a lawsuit together because of NDAs and she wasn't supposed to tell that she was the mistress, but then she was supposed to be out being the mistress.
That girl on the reunion, Joe Allen, who had a problem with Rula because she let Rula know that the husband was cheating and then she turned it around like, stay out of our business.
she was like, is this a Chanel bag that your husband bought you?
And she's like, no.
She goes, exactly, because the mistress has been texting me,
and this is the Chanel bag that was bought,
and this was the store, and blah, blah, blah.
Is that your bag?
And she's like, no.
And she's like, hmm.
So they're staying on the show.
I think they have to stay on the share because now that both their individual businesses
are probably at risk.
So the only way to keep afloat is to stay famous at this point.
but that mistress girl clearly wants to be on the show.
It's like put me in coach.
Bring her on.
Put me in coach.
She's still around though.
I went to her Instagram and she's not posting anything except about her skincare laser business and like her kids.
But she's blonde.
She's attractive.
She's like in her 40s as well.
And so that's, I mean, that's why this was juicy.
They found good people.
It was a good cast.
Lizzo's bitch album
sells less than 6,000 copies
in its first week,
and she's very upset about it.
Why do you think no one's buying Lizzo's new album?
Though I did hear one of the songs.
And it sounded like an AI something
that you put together for a kid's cartoon, but whatever.
Well, she claims that people didn't buy her music
because radio is dying,
and she was the radio darling.
When radio's been dead for like 10 years, number one,
And she's like, but like streaming ruined music.
And I was like, how did streaming ruin music?
When streaming, if anything, has made more stars because it's so much more accessible to get your music and to become with streaming and with TikTok and viral trends online and all of that stuff.
Like you totally miss the mark because your marketing team did not do what they could have done for you if you think that radio was the way that you were going to promote this album.
I just don't think her music was that interesting.
I think it was what she represented.
Yeah.
And some of those songs, like, you know, that the way she sang and, you know,
and that she didn't look like every other pop star, that she was fuller figured,
but she could still dance for two hours and play the flute.
And that she was just, you know, unapologetically, she, and it was great.
And I think in that time, again, it was perfect timing.
Yeah.
And now with the influx of weight loss drugs, people do want to walk around and like get what the what they want, which is fine.
But then it then people will say, oh, it's because she's thin, but I don't think that's it.
I just think she hit.
Sometimes you have that peak and you just cannot get back to it because she was, she did, she was very funny on the Kevin Hart roast.
She's been staying relevant.
You know, she's been in our faces.
Yeah.
Looking good.
She's doing her thing.
I just, A, don't think the album was very good.
If she really had to bang her head.
Yeah.
And, you know, but I just think people bought into who she was.
And then those fans lost interest and have left.
Yeah.
Just like, you know, teenagers don't have the same poster in their, in their room at 30 as they did at 13.
Like, people move.
on and they're into somebody else and they don't really come back to that person because it was like
an era of their childhood or teenagehood.
When you make your entire identity being a big girl and then you stop being a big girl
that can really turn on you.
Look at Rebel Wilson.
Look at Jonah Hill.
Look at Megan Traynor.
They built their identity on being I'm fuller figured.
I'm confident.
I'm all of these things.
So then there was like a level of aspirationalism to them where people were like, oh, like she is
body positive.
and she is really confident and good for her that's so empowering.
And then the second they're given a drug to lose the weight so fast,
they just jump on it and abandon that confidence that they had about embracing their body and loving their body as is.
And so I think people feel like that's a bit disingenuous.
I think with Lizzo, it was the perfect storm.
I think, sure, radio made it more difficult,
but I just think like the old traditional PR machine that made musicians stars doesn't work anymore.
Very similar to like Blake Lively's PR machine of how she,
was trying to control the narrative when she was like losing so epically on social media because
people now have different access. So I think the PR machine is old. I think the fan base that she had that
really looked up to her for owning her body and being body positive doesn't believe it anymore because
it seems disingenuous. And then I think the lawsuit. The lawsuit. The sexual harassment claims.
Where she was really awful to her dancers and was like sexually harassing them and body shaming them.
Yeah. And so I think that they were, I just think people get.
turned off just like just like an old boyfriend you're like I'm not you gave me the ick factor I don't
want to date you again you could come back around three years later and I see you at Denny's I'm still
not interested yeah and I kind of think that's it like she was gone too long and she's not who and
also the songs of some of those people you brought up the lyrics were about that yeah it wasn't
just like whatever because it hasn't hurt Kelly Clarkson no and Kelly Clarkson's appearance has changed
but in her thing it was like
she also got rid of an awful ex-husband
and she's also grown up
and she's delightful and she still
sings beautifully and
you know and we're rooting for her
as a mom and everything else so it's like I don't
think it's that jelly roll
I do think
now there's this
ickness about him now that
we know more about his relationship with
Bunny and then also the more
you just hear that like
her just saying like yeah I was
still turning tricks to get him a lawyer to, so we can get custody of his daughter and,
and help, you know, help his music into his music going. And then it's like, yeah,
we were like fed. It's just like when Woody Allen would do a movie where a young girl
would be dying to fuck him. And I'd be like, why would this 17 year old be into this ugly 40-year-old
skitty, gross guy? And by the end of the movie, I'm like, I guess I could date Woody Allen.
It's the same thing.
By having beautiful bunny with unattractive jelly roll in every way,
it was something like, I guess, you know, all around.
Like, I guess I could go for it, whatever.
And then you realize, like, he's the one that left her,
and he was cheating on her.
And I don't think it has anything to do with him losing weight now.
I think, like, people are realizing his singing isn't that good.
Like, what were we fed?
Like, what were we fed?
And you get the ick factor just like you would have a boyfriend
with a artist and you will not go back to them no matter what they do.
That's what I think.
Some of these people are.
Well, I agree.
But I think the difference with jelly roll and Kelly Clarkson is it's their personalities and
their actions that, you know, hooked the audience, right?
And that's why I think you can still root for Kelly Clarkson.
She never made her body her identity.
Whereas Elzo and a Megan trainer or even a Rebel Wilson who was really heavy and she was really
funny and she leaned into being, you know, that type of comedic character.
But then when you switch that on people and they already have an idea of like
that's your identity.
Whereas, like, Kelly Clarkson,
her talent and her personality
were the two things that always shine.
And even with jelly roll,
like, there was like an aspirate.
I mean, I think Bunny really did save his reputation
because there was nothing.
I mean, he had some good music,
but like he was not very attractive or interesting to look at.
And also then he would go on stage and just, you know,
guys,
women love when a man in public is praising his wife and is the biggest
hype man.
And then many of us didn't know the whole history of their,
weird relationship. And then when we hear it, we're like, ew, and you dumped her in the end?
Like, what the fuck? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, listen, this has been so fun. Zach, tell everybody,

They're like, listen, you say some things that piss me off sometimes and I don't agree with you.
But I still really enjoy you.
Exactly.
And we all could do that as Americans.
