Starting point is 00:00:00 Whether you agree with his politics or not, that is a fact. And I will tell you, as a human being, please disagree with me in the comments if you feel differently. You cannot fake goosebumps. And I have watched that footage, that 2 minutes and 39 seconds of footage that is showing the whole thing I don't know how many times. And every fucking time there are goosebumps on my skin when he gets up and says, wait, wait, wait, and holds his fist out and does that. And every fucking time when he's coming off the stage at the top of the steps, right where Evan took that picture and holds his fist up, goes boom, boom, boom, goosebumps on my skin. What's up guys. If you're on Spotify right now,
Starting point is 00:00:42 please follow the show so that you don't miss any future episodes and leave a five-star review. Thank you. Alright, everyone in the chat, let me know that you can hear me and that I'm clear. Thank you for being here tonight. I had a lot of thoughts like everyone else out there on what happened and I really did not want to do this. This is not something that's in my comfort zone to do. I enjoy hosting guests and having conversations with them and shooting the shit. I'm a podcaster. I sit in what we could call an armchair and I don't view it as more than that. I don't look at what I'm doing as thought it as more than that. I don't look at what I'm doing as thought leadership or anything like that. year, well, the last six months, especially to get out of my comfort zone and talk to the people and discuss these kinds of things as they come up, as we get current events and things happening in the world. And so I guess you could say this is really my first time doing that. So approximately 27 hours ago, we all know what happened. There was an attempt on the former president's life, and someone who, I'll get to this in a minute, whether you love them, hate them, or everywhere in between.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It was historic in every way, in not good ways, but I want to start off by saying I am unbelievably grateful that President Trump was not killed. I am sickened and saddened that Corey Comparatore, I believe that's how you say his name. I apologize if I got that wrong, but I'm saddened that he was killed in front of his wife and daughter. Political violence, we should not have to fucking say this, but political violence of any form is disgusting. And the lowest form, I mean, it's one of the lowest forms of human violence throughout human history there's there's never a time where it was like oh that was a good one i mean i guess if you took out a dictator or something you know but that's that's a separate story to see innocent people killed at a rally supporting someone that they want to vote for is heartbreaking. So my heart goes out to Corey and his family.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And I also want to say that I am hoping that over the next 100 days, and I'm sure all of you out there, regardless of political opinion, will agree with this. I'm hoping that over the next 100 days, we do not see any more violence on either side. I will say, while I have been highly critical of Joe Biden's candidacy for obvious reasons, we'll talk about that in this live, I appreciated the words in his press conference last night. To me, I mean, we shouldn't have to say this, but referring to Donald by his first name in a personal way is something we haven't seen him do. He usually says that guy or the other guy. And there was a little bit of a human interaction there.
Starting point is 00:04:12 I would imagine, you know, behind the scenes, they are recognizing the inevitable here. But processing this is going to take a long time. And what I'm going to talk about tonight is very raw, and I'm sure some of my opinions will move as we get more information and things like that. And if you can see the bags under my eyes, I am exhausted. I was up all night, as I'm sure many of you were. It's a historical moment, and we're going to get to it, but I had a chance to speak to every pipe hitter i know all the ones you're thinking of in your head i spoke with on the phone with the exception of remi adeleke who i kind of went back and forth with on social posts but he had some pretty amazing thoughts navy seal remi adeleke
Starting point is 00:04:55 from episodes 157 and 158 but it's truck month at gm Tackle the open road with added confidence in a 2025 Sierra 1500 Pro Graphite at 0% financing for up to 72 months. Truck month is on now. Ask your GMC dealer for details.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Let's start at the beginning here. I want to have Twitter open as well because there's information coming in as we're doing this. But when I think of profound events in my life, one of my first memories is a visceral memory, was 9-11, and I was a very little kid, but I remember everything about that day. I remember everything that I could process as a young child of the aftermath, and of course, I've studied the aftermath history. We recently had a legend danny hall in here who you can probably take away was involved in that aftermath i'll leave that there there may be future episodes on that but some of that has to get cleared through intelligence
Starting point is 00:06:14 and obviously that was a crazy time in american history and it was really a crux point in society but it's one of those things where you remember exactly where you were the moment you found out you can put yourself, I can put myself in my classroom right there with my teacher, putting us in a circle, sitting us down, you know, other teachers in the hallway, calling their family who's in New York and, and processing, you know, what had just happened here. And obviously 3000 Americans were killed that night that night. That is certainly worse than one American being killed. But the seminal event that is a presidency or a former president in this case and presumptive president at this point being almost gunned down is unfathomable. And not just in the interest of being, from a human standpoint, extremely grateful that President Trump is safe and was not killed, but beyond that,
Starting point is 00:07:15 looking at not just America, but the world, I can tell you that every pipe hitter I spoke with did not disagree with me when I said, if that bullet were two inches to the right, of course he's dead. And that's a horrible thing, but that is a France Ferdinand type event. That is, you know, I see people talk about civil war and all this stuff. That would be the least of your problems. This is the leader, presumptive leader of the free world, a former president in a highly contested race being gunned down. There are two wars going on around the world right now with all kinds of fucking issues and money going from all over the place
Starting point is 00:07:48 into those two things. That is, I don't know what it would look like, but it is a World War III type event. There is no doubt about that. Take that to the bank. So we are very, very fucking lucky that that did not happen. Now, you know know one of the things that's really
Starting point is 00:08:06 cool about the aftermath of something like this i want to be careful i say that don't twist my words is you get to see how good some of your guys are in breaking down the analysis and i want to share this real quickly as a side point i got a call call from Joe Tedai about five minutes into the news coming out. So, you know, the shots, it was less than five minutes. So we were just seeing the footage. They were just reporting it. And for those who don't remember, Joe Tedai was in episode 149, 185 or 186 and 187. He is a former special forces cia ground branch commando you know his job was
Starting point is 00:08:50 to go capture or kill on behalf of the cia he is about as legit as they come and joe ted i broke down to at when we knew nothing exactly how far the shots were coming from where they were coming from a roof that it was a single shooter in his opinion, and that it was most likely an AR-15 type weapon, which I wish I had recorded that phone call because I mean, I don't know if it was a half hour later or something where we first got the video and the first information of the map, but you want to talk about being spot the fuck on, holy shit. So I was on and off the phone with him. He is also a guy, he has been to a Trump rally before. And as someone who's from that world, he is constantly
Starting point is 00:09:31 assessing things around him. And he was very confused at how things went down at this rally because it was a different experience than, than what he had seen. I also had a chance to speak to Dale Comstock, who has a similar resume to Joe that is actually even longer. He's one of these, like Joe's best friend. Dale was also CIA ground branch. He is now essentially like the most well-known mercenary in the world after a 35 year career in the 30, 35 year career in the military, in the special forces. One of his many jobs that he is taking on, that he has taken taken on is training the secret service and he had a lot to say about that and about the breakdown of protocols here
Starting point is 00:10:10 remi adeleke is one guy i haven't spoken to on the phone navy seal as i said but i went back and forth on social posts with him he also broke this down this is a guy who spent i believe 12 years in the navy seals much of it overseas he talked about how they would set, I'm trying to remember the exact footage. I don't want to misquote him, so correct me in the comments if he had a different footage on it, but I think he said it was like up to 2,000 feet perimeters for bullshit type stuff, like forget a president or a senator or something like that. When they were running security over in Yemen and Saudi Arabia and these kinds of places, those are the types of perimeters they took into account so when you look at the fact that the secret service allegedly left this perimeter outside of 400 feet which is not far
Starting point is 00:10:56 to a to local law enforcement to handle i don't care if local law enforcement dropped the ball you're the fucking secret service your job is to secure the perimeter. That's what my tax money goes to. And I will happily pay my tax money to that with the expectation that you don't fuck that up, which leads me to another point. I have not had a chance to speak with Evie Pompouris today. She was on TV this morning. I believe she is headed out of town tomorrow or something like that. So she's probably not going to be able to come on, but I was able to speak to someone who is going to be coming on the podcast. It was already scheduled before this happened, who is actively in the secret service and has been in it for over 20 years. And. What I'll say is that.
Starting point is 00:11:45 He didn't defend. Hardly anything. He broke it down very objectively. And very matter of fact. He mentioned some of the things that. After it happened were done correctly. He also went through all the things. That were done wrong.
Starting point is 00:11:58 And holy shit. Thank you whoever just gave me $99. That's insane. Thank you very much. I'm still poor over here, so I really appreciate that. But anyway, the number one thing he said was that the minute a bullet flew, it was already a failure. It's already a failure. Your job is to plan to not fail.
Starting point is 00:12:22 I believe that was an exact line he had. If he said it more eloquently than that, I will make sure he corrects that and says it in the way he said it when he's on the podcast. But this was, make no mistake about it, a complete failure. Whether you agree or disagree with a guy like Dan Bongino politically, I don't give a fuck. If you listen to his breakdown of it as a former Secret Service agent, he also had very similar thoughts to my source that I spoke with and discussed how this is a complete breakdown in planning. It is a complete breakdown in the execution afterwards as well. Now, let me be a little more specific there. I'm going to come back to my guy. The pig pile, so to speak, that they did to get on top of the president after it happened seems to have been executed well.
Starting point is 00:13:07 The aftermath of that was not. And I'm going to come back to Trump. I just want to deal with the actual situation right here real quickly, so please bear with me. When they stood him up, the thing my guy was telling me on the phone is that he is a big guy. He's like 6'3 1⁄2". He's like 230. And you can't fault an agent for being 510 that's kind of what it is but he was he was we're gonna get to his own courageousness in that situation which he was but they stood him up and kind of sat him there and someone was like holding up a hand over his face like, oh, yeah, this is going to stop shit.
Starting point is 00:13:47 That's like a fly swatter. And they are 15 bullets going right through the hand. I mean, Kennedy's brains got blown out and took out John Connolly's hip and wrist. A hand's not doing shit. And they just kind of like held him there and like slowly got him off stage. Let him raise his fist you saw if you saw the footage of the photographer who took the famous shot that is on my thumbnail which give that guy every fucking award he'd evan from the ap i forget his last name sorry about that but he's already a
Starting point is 00:14:16 winner he'll win another one we'll come back to that shot that is the greatest most perfect picture i maybe i've ever. I'm sad he had to take it. But if you saw the shot on Twitter, I wish I had a lessee here who could pull up videos, but it's just me. So you're going to have to bear with me. I got to look it up on Twitter. If you saw the shot on Twitter of his selfie cam, you know, going and going to get that shot. Imagine if there were a second shooter down there it was a fucking turkey shoot to take out donald trump now let's juxtapose that with ronald reagan now we've seen that video i forget the full context but he was like walking through the street i don't think it was an event correct me in the
Starting point is 00:14:57 comments if i'm wrong about that please i don't have a lessee here to fact check but you know what if you watch that video once reagan gets hit you never see him again he's he's covered you can't fucking you couldn't you couldn't get a fucking cruiser to him at that point whereas trump was left out there now i know some people were looking going damn if this was prepared like kennedy he's gone and they're right. And that is a point my guy made on the phone. It was even slow to get him to the cruiser right there in the car. And it was just a complete breakdown in protocol. And I say this as a novice again, armchair podcaster.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I'm not a fucking secret security security secret service expert, but we all have two eyes and a brain. We can all look and see like wait something something's a little wrong there right to say nothing of the fact that allegedly and i still have to say allegedly there's some conflicting information on this to say nothing of the fact that he trump apparently has been denied extra secret security or secret service presence we know rfk has been denied that completely despite the fact that his fucking uncle and father both had their brains blown out, which is crazy. So you have that as well. Like everything was wrong. There's no doubt about it. Now, we'll come back to some of this, but let's get to Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Now, you have heard me discuss him across the 220 episodes we've done at this point over the last four, four and a half years. And thank you to Matthew Bradford for donating right there. I'm going to try to look at comments, but I'm very focused because I'm exhausted. There are bags under my eyes. I'm sorry if I'm rambling on some of these things. I'm not at my best right now, so I'm trying to stay focused. But you've heard me talk about Trump many times. I am someone who is naturally an emotional reaction guy, but I train myself in private to get the emotion out myself and then pull back, go for a
Starting point is 00:16:59 walk, take a deep breath, and calmly bring in logic. And so I'm still processing and trying to continue to do that. But we need to put aside politics for a second. And I need to be critical of myself on a couple things here. There are two criticisms, one in particular, that I've often had of Donald Trump. The first one that's like a little bit of a criticism I've done is I've said, he's definitely like kind of a tough guy, but you, but some of it's narcissism, bra a man, they all tell you you learn who someone is when bullets start flying. And as I told you already in this live, I spoke to every heavy pipe hitter I know. And I read that tweet to every one of them, and I first asked them to confirm if they agreed with that. They all said yes, and I said now give me your thoughts on Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:18:08 And they all said to a man, you cannot fake that. The guy's a fucking dog. When that dude went down, you see that picture. Again, wish I had Alessi to pull this up. But you see that picture of him on the ground that someone got looking at his face almost like holy shit this just happened and within 30 seconds of that picture being taken that motherfucker was brought to his feet calmly asked where his shoes were which was kind of funny then said wait wait wait and ripped through the
Starting point is 00:18:42 fucking six people on him held his fist up and screamed fight three times and kept fist pumping off the stage. That is not a narcissistic reaction. Put yourself in those shoes. There's no performative measures there. That is a shock situation. He was just shot with a bullet in his ear, an attempt on his life. He is reacting to the situation and his reaction, which is going to lead me to my second main criticism I've had to him. His reaction was to fucking show people strength in that situation. Whether you agree or disagree with him politically, you cannot take that from him. Now, my second criticism I have often had of him is that I believe he loves America. I've never had a doubt about that. The guy definitely loves America. But I've always said as a narcissist, which he is, I'm not going to change that opinion. He's a textbook narcissist. But I've always said he loves himself more. because his thought last night when he got up was not to protect himself. It was to look out at 13,000 people who had come there from all walks of life
Starting point is 00:19:48 to celebrate him as a candidate and try to propel him to the White House, which probably already had done deal, and to show them that in the face of the worst thing that has been thrown at him yet, that he was defiant and he was there fighting for them. Whether you agree with his politics or not, that is a fact. And I will tell you, as a human being, please disagree with me in the comments if you feel differently. You cannot fake goosebumps. And I have watched that footage, that two minutes and 39 seconds of footage that is showing the whole thing. I don't know how many times and every
Starting point is 00:20:25 fucking time there are goosebumps on my skin when he gets up and says, wait, wait, wait, and holds his fist out and does that. And every fucking time when he's coming off the stage at the top of the steps, right where Evan took that picture and holds his fist up, goes boom, boom, boom, goosebumps on my skin. I was taking a bus back from Ocean City, New Jersey. I was celebrating my grandfather's 91st birthday last night. I was taking a bus back to the city today. And I must have watched that 20 times in a row. And every time I'm like, I'm like taking a temperature on my veins and it's there. It's just a human reaction. Now, we fight about Donald Trump's politics all the time, and there's a lot to fight about with that. And I've had nuance on that. I'm going to be very clear on what my
Starting point is 00:21:16 opinions were. I don't want to run from things. I don't want to run towards a direction of what's popular or what's not to be a contrarian on purpose or anything like that in the face of this the best i can do is be honest about what i think and let you guys judge me for it so there are good things and bad things in my opinion about donald trump's policies and one of the things that in his last presidency i thought was all bad was his rhetoric. I felt like the way he attacked people, and I know he was constantly under attack. I know it's disgusting how the media treated him. I'm not arguing with that, but there is a magnanimity, that's not a word, but being magnanimous, I don't think it's a word, being magnanimous to rise above that in a way, as hard as that is, is something that I would expect out of a president that he fell short on 120% of the time.
Starting point is 00:22:09 From a policy standpoint, his rhetoric created a divide that is unreasonable. It created people who were either all in on everything he did, even if they had no idea some of his policies. They just took the one, two, or three things they actually cared about, got behind it and then said, yeah, by the way, everything else we'll get with it. We've seen the videos of people who can't talk about what he actually stands for on other issues besides the main ones they care about. And obviously that sucks, but that is, has always been a part of politics. On the other end, you will see people who no matter what he did, and they refer to this as Trump derangement syndrome, which is correct to do no matter what the guy did, they would always say he was wrong.
Starting point is 00:22:49 And sometimes when I would talk to my most left wing friends and say, you know, just please off the record, can you give me one thing that Donald Trump did well, they couldn't say anything. And I'd look at him and I'd say like, you know, not even, not even the criminal justice reform. Like that was pretty liberal. That was, that was, I was with that. That was some cool. No, no, he did it wrong. And that's, it broke people's brains. I remember Joe Rogan had a line. It was very simple. He said, Trump broke people. He broke them in either direction. And it is very, very true. And unfortunately, though, to a smaller degree than what we have seen in the past after last night we are seeing that still
Starting point is 00:23:30 in i'll still say both directions but particularly in the direction of derangement syndrome that's against him we are seeing you know after we had the rise of q anon which was laughable at best and tragic at worst we're even seeing the rise of BlueAnon now, which I view the same exact way, same exact heat. And you see people saying some things that in some cases are just straight up disgusting. Someone was almost gunned down. There's a way to deal with this and there's a way to not. He's also a presidential candidate that half the country is behind. So if you want to unite people and be a fucking human being you got to understand that you know you need you need to be a human in a situation like this and some people fell short
Starting point is 00:24:15 that said there are other people that did not and i appreciate that but we are now looking at a situation where you know we all saw the debate i mean that was a bloodbath. It was the dichotomy – forget their age. The dichotomy between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was almost sinister because what they, whoever the fuck they are – I don't know where to point the finger. What they have done to Joe Biden to have him in this position where he's not even coherent is sinister. And when you see how Trump, you can say whatever you want about him politically, the guy is an energy machine. When you see him standing next to him and he was much more under control in these debates, the dichotomy was insane. So after that debate, we saw, you know, some amazing reporting from Olivia Nuzzi or Newsy. I hope I got that right. Talking about, you know, to a lot of Democratic mega donors who were now at least willing to talk off record.
Starting point is 00:25:15 And, you know, insiders in Congress and stuff talking about the fact that Trump's inevitable. And, you know, they made their own bed with Biden. Like this was over, in my opinion. Now it's really over. Now it's like how many states is he going 45 46 like we're you know there's 100 days between the election and now we can see a lot happen but the the guy is staring down the barrel of winning this election so when you look at the response that he had to what happened, so far, he has been unbelievably magnanimous. We have not seen the same Trump who tweets out the scum of the earth. He has been like, thank you to the first responders.
Starting point is 00:25:59 I'm horrified to hear about the victim at this event. I will have more to say. It has been good. He also spoke to a Fox News reporter, I guess on the record but not on camera, and his thoughts were with the victims. It was not in Milwaukee, and he is keeping it on schedule. It was going to be like two days late, but he's like, the show goes on. So we are going to see Donald Trump speak on Thursday night. I will imagine that's the first time he's going to come out. I kind of wonder if 50 Cent is going to do a live performance of Many Men as he comes out. If I know Donald Trump, he'll probably make that happen. But more importantly, as the presum got a straight line to the presidency, whether you like it or not. He has an enormous opportunity on Thursday night to unite the country in that speech.
Starting point is 00:27:15 He has an opportunity. Of course, there will be politics in it. It's the RNC. He has to give some of his stances. There will be criticism of the other side that's going to happen, but he has the opportunity to be the bigger man, which is something that's the one thing he has pretty much always failed to do. And if he can keep the tone he's had to this point in, in response to last night's events and hold that same energy through Thursday as an American, I will be proud of him for that. And I will hopefully see people come together here. And I know a lot of people are commenting here. I'm sorry. I, I, I, there's too much going on. I can't really look at that. I want to make sure I get my thoughts out and have this, this be what it is, but witnessing history is is certainly profound as it's happening and i'm sure everyone
Starting point is 00:28:09 had a moment where it sunk in whether that was overnight or today you know there's people i talked to who had who had different reactions but we all do need to understand that not nothing about this is acceptable and there's questions that need to be answered. I don't know if this is confirmed, but the guy I spoke with from the Secret Service told me that he's hearing – I don't know if this has been announced now, but he's hearing that the head of the Secret Service will be testifying in front of Congress on Tuesday, and she's going to get barbecued, and she should. These mistakes cannot happen, and you do have to wonder. I don't want to jump to conclusions on things. I make no apologies for that. There are questionable things that happened here, not the least of which you had a roof unabated. I don't know if that's the word I'm looking for. It's kind of late, but distance. Andy Bustamante was telling me on the phone today, former CIA guy, former, you know, that the minimum distance is like 400 feet. That
Starting point is 00:29:32 could be standard. Well, that's within 400 feet. So forget the fact that they should have checked that there should have been snipers on that roof. He should have never been able to access that roof. If you saw interviews with witnesses who were on the other side of that, we know that as much as seven to eight minutes before shots fired out, they were warning local police that there was someone crawling up on the roof up there. And at least some of them told them that he had a weapon. Now, I don't know how this works, but I would imagine when it's the police, secret service, or the fucking dough boy on a team handling security, you're all on the same radio frequency. So why for seven to eight minutes are you not radio frequencying each other that
Starting point is 00:30:21 there's a fucking threat on the roof? if you did do that why was the president not removed from the stage these are very simple questions these are not political questions these are straight up to the point black and white no argument answer the fucking question so i look forward to seeing that grilling on tuesday if that is going to happen and i'm i'm very sad for where we're at. I say that as an American, I also say that as a citizen of the world, we all know we're, we're all interconnected now too. And we know who each other's leaders are and we know who gets along with who and who doesn't. And the shaking of the, the order of how business is done when a candidate has an attempt on their life is stunning.
Starting point is 00:31:09 And we saw former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe – I hope I pronounced that right – taken out last fall, I believe. And that had reverberations around the world. If this had happened, I mean, quite literally, pun intended, we dodged a real bullet last night, whether you are liberal, conservative, or everything in between. I also want to address the fact that there were a lot of people who expressed their opinion online about Trump in support of him as a candidate after this event happened. And I've said this for a long time. I guess it's almost odd as a heterodox thinker to watch this play out because people are going to have their opinions left or right. It's how humanity does skew those ways. Then there's people who are in the middle but the fact that people had to be afraid for a long time to express support for someone who maybe quietly they not even loved but felt was a better option than the other side which you know right now that's not hard to do. Let's just be honest here.
Starting point is 00:32:26 That bothers me. And it bothered me before last night. And, you know, if there's a good thing to come out of this, it's that maybe the veil on that has finally shifted and it can no longer be under attack. I'd also, I mean, I'd be remiss without mentioning the fucking media here and some of the instant reaction. I try not to jump on things and jump to conclusions. I know the media does a lot of wrong shit, but I try not to run with the first screenshot I see. That said, some of the Sunday morning commentary trying to flip this switch and turn it on Trump was embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:33:06 And let's call some Martha Raddatz, George Stephanopoulos, embarrassing. Full stop, fucking embarrassing. I don't care what you think of the guy. There has to be a moment where you recognize that there are people who think differently than you in this country. I've talked about it on many podcasts, the coastal versus, you know, the rural. And I say this as someone who has lived coastal my entire life. I just flew over the middle of America for the first time in my life to go to Vegas. I had never been west of Pennsylvania. Okay. So I can really speak on what it's like to be a coastal, but in doing the show, it's a beautiful thing.
Starting point is 00:33:45 I have fans from all over the world who are nice enough to tune into this and listen to some kid in a backwards hat in his parents' house for a long time, talk to other people. And among those people who are my fans are people who live throughout this country in places I've never been. And people have different experiences in life. They have different priorities. They have different things that they see every day. In this battle between the people who maybe are more in cities, like me, but I'm not a part of this battle, and the people who are more rural and have different priorities.
Starting point is 00:34:15 And the hatred that is expressed there at a time, ironically, where we are more interconnected than ever and have the ability to communicate and learn from each other more than ever before that dichotomy is jarring and the media is at the forefront of the biggest sinners on that because they pretend that the people who disagree with them who are from areas not that that aren't you nor new york aren't LA, don't have a right to have an opinion. And that's the most un-American thing there is. And if you can't come out and say that and stand behind that, then you're a pussy. That's what it is. So yeah, you're getting more emotion than I usually have because this is still raw and I'm tired. And I'll be a little more logical about this as time goes on.
Starting point is 00:35:10 This week, I don't think we're going to put out content. I was editing two episodes all weekend. They're fucking fire. I got a cartel kingpin coming on. He was amazing. But we have the RNC. It's a historical time. I think we're going to hold content during this week. So I hope people are okay with that. I don't care. I mean, you know, we'll get our, we'll get our revenue coming back eventually. That's
Starting point is 00:35:36 kind of the last thing on my mind right now. I am, I am, we are at a very, very precipitous point. I don't know if that's words correct right now, but you know what I mean. And the next actions from every direction are critical. And so I wish the complete safety and health of President Trump, President Biden, all people in politics from either side, whether you agree with them or not. And I hope to see the rhetoric calm down. I hope to see some sort of joint meeting between Trump and Biden. I think that would be beautiful for the country. And I hope to see some joint legislation to help fix this problem, to make sure that it never happens again.
Starting point is 00:36:16 I know there's already some things in the work between Congressman Richie Torres or whatever his name is. I might've got that wrong. And a Republican congressman as well. I hope to see these things actually come through, but you know, this it's, it's a scary time. We dodged a bullet last night and we have a hundred more days where hopefully we're not dodging any bullets, but in the, in the context of public opinion, we are going to be looking to dodge some, some dangerous things going down. So I'm going to cut it there because I'm exhausted. I appreciate all you guys listening. We will have updates on when new episodes are coming out. I am wishing the best for our country. I'm wishing the best for the world.
Starting point is 00:36:58 I'm wishing the health and safety of all candidates. And thank you guys for listening. Peace.
