Hello and welcome back to the podcast. You know, today has been quite the series of unfortunate events, if I do say so. So we'll get into some of that. We also took a girls trip this weekend. We did. So we have quite a few interesting stories to unfold from there. And obviously, the biggest thing is the honestly everything going on with the freaking NFL again it's honestly the NFL is taking over the world they're really in they're all like their best era yet because I feel like maybe it was just like I wasn't paying attention to the NFL before no now that we're bought in it just feels like everybody's bought in right now. Yeah, it's just that time.

So starting out here, you know, first things first, I'm on my way to the studio. And we have recently been talking about the commute to the studio. Yes. We're questioning. It's been a topic of conversation every time we have commuted to said studio in the last month basically like half of the time we've been doing season two we've been questioning if the studio was necessarily the best idea or should we go back to filming in my house but anyways this kind of this was the cherry on top for me so today

I'm on my way down I get like 15 minutes into the drive and I realize I don't have the key to the studio so to turn all the way back around and go get it then we get here and we're parking in like the parking garage and i completely crashed the back of my car into there they have like poles and i don't know why they make it such a tight squeeze and curve at the same time you know what's wild about this whole situation what is because as i was driving up like around that exact curve that you're talking about i thought one of the poles looked off and i was like you know this curve really does suck and if somebody was just taking their driver's test this would be like a really tough situation to put them in and continue to go around said poles but i i really thought about how bad it was today to be fair

i was driving like a little bit faster it's not your fault then one should drive in that situation see but i've got to be honest you know why yes i couldn't see because i didn't turn my music down and normally when i pull in i turn my music down. So you can see. And so I can see. And I didn't do that this time. And so I couldn't see. And so, but here's the thing too. I have had multiple incidences in this car. I swear to God, this thing makes it sound,

I don't know what it's made out of, plastic, but it makes it sound so much worse than it is. It actually is. And literally multiple times when i've gotten hit like i got hit twice in it and then this time when i hit myself in it i thought like i was gonna get out and it was gonna be totaled the way that it sounds is so bad that's insane but it was fine like but it just sucks it just literally sucks I also just had a windshield crack finally got that fixed I drove around with that for a while finally got that fixed and then literally

yeah yesterday I got I picked it up and then I did this and it's just honestly I it's just bad luck okay and then also speaking of that to add to the series of unfortunate events I like called Evan and I was like crying about the car because I was like I don't know what it looks like I'm scared to get out and see and he's like are you kidding me and I was like no was he calm about it um yeah I mean he's Evan that's what I was gonna say I was like at least like a calm person. He was just like, are you okay? Like what happened?

And I'm like, no, I'm just an idiot. Just didn't turn the music down. But anyways, so then to add to the series of unfortunate events, we get in here and I'm like, I really got to go to the bathroom. Like I've had to go to the bathroom since I had to turn around and come back and was rushing and we have no toilet paper at the studio no and we knew this the last time we were here too yep but it's funny because as soon as i was like oh no you were like did you bring the toilet paper i'm like you didn't remind me i didn't you didn't remind me

till it was too late and then also i think the most unfortunate of all the actually i don't know if that's true but another unfortunate event um you know we announced this halloween merch last week we're very excited about this halloween merch however we got the samples in and it's not good it it really couldn't be worse yeah so you guys I'm really gonna try to pull this here's the thing that frustrates me so bad because I was just talking to somebody about this I think truly I get so into designing things and I spend so many hours and then when shit like this happens I'm like why yeah just why yeah and I don't understand it but i will tell you this we're gonna try to still get some stuff done for halloween because i have the designs and they're

ready and they're so really really cute these designs are top tier they're cute they're spooky they're fun and some of them like aren't even related to the podcast necessarily they're just like cute halloween designs yeah so i really want to get them out i'm going to try to find a different company to work with in the next week so if you weren't on the patreon we did show we did show what the one thing was that we got that actually turned out really nice which was the candle it was honestly i was it the only thing we had received at that point and we were so hyper like this is perfect yes i just yeah we haven't cracked the code yet in the merch industry we're working on it but um as of now we will try to find a company in the next week to get things

so that at least we could have them like if we don't have them right at the beginning of october at least before halfway through right so that we can have some things but speaking of that really quickly while we're on the topic next week is first weekend of spooky season let's go so we need your spooky stories. We need them immediately. We need crazy, scary, surprising, spooky stories. Yes, spooky, scary skeletons. Yes, that's what we need. We need all of the things. So that's next week.

We're also going to decorate the set. Yes, we are. We have to get all that done somehow before next week. And I'm looking atney with crazy eyes right now because that just dawned on me that this we also we will need to come back with the decor and decorate the set this we can my brain is turning i've got some ideas okay i okay i think i'm coming back this week so i can do it then um all right moving on to our traverse city trip so i was yeah i was very um thrilled because you've been to traverse city yes i went on a bachelorette trip

once that's about it i used to go in like high school for like our student government concert or conference but that doesn't count concerts concerts we acted like it was a concert man there was a dance party at the end of the week and i think that's what really like you drink the kool-aid i drink i mean i stay drinking the kool-aid i feel like with anything that i do and that was where it began um that's so funny okay so. So I'd never been, so I was really excited to go and I felt, I felt like we weren't in Michigan. No, I kept, somebody asked us, I think it was our wine tour driver. It's like, Oh, where are y'all from? And I was like, Michigan. No, duh. I mean, I guess people traveled there from any state, but it didn't feel like we were in Michigan. It felt like,

I don't know, we were in Napa Valleyapa valley or something well that was like when we got questioned so we got questioned about our ids and first the guy at the door was like almost not gonna let us in and yeah i never know like at this point since we're like we're clearly not old so we can't be like oh i love it it when I get asked. Right, it's not like a fun thing for us right now necessarily. We're still at like an in-between where like they really might not fucking let us in and it's going to piss me off because I don't know how to tell you that I'm 28. Well, almost, but 27.

That's my thing. When people say like, oh, you don't even look like you're 21. Fine. That's great. Whatever. I don't know. But it's like, no, sir. Unfortunately, I'm 27.

Like, I don't know what to tell you. How do you argue that? It's like, well, you don't look it. And it's like, well, what do you want me to do? I can't change how I look there. They said that to all four of us that were there. And then we're trying to ask they were like oh i should have asked you what your zodiac sign was well no and then so we went to so they

questioned us at the door then they questioned us at the bar and we already had been stamped for getting in honestly obnoxiously the stamps were like it looked like blood at one point we need to get into that after like the stamping at the bar is like can we come up with something new i feel like there's got to be different even like the wristbands i don't mind as much because you can at least cut them off the getting the ink off your body it's like a it's like a shameful but like next day when you wake up and you're like oh shit and you just like look at your arm and discuss. And you have to scrub your skin. And think about everything you went through that night. Oh, terrible.

But anyway, so then we go to the bar. And the lady IDs us again. And she looks at me. And she's like. What's your zip code? And like thinking. Oh, you got her good too. Thinking.

She like thought she got me. Yeah, she was like. And I got. Not today, girly pop. I got her back. And I was like, on the front or the back? And I was like, set it just like that. Because I had address change.

And so it's obviously on my ID. But since then, they just add a sticker when you get an address change on the back. So I looked her down the eyes. I'm like, on the front or the back? I feel like in that moment, she looked shocked at first. But I feel like me on the front or the back i feel like in that moment she was she looked shocked at first but i feel like me on the side i was like yeah you got her got you we're so cheesy um so yeah so then she was like oh um yeah on on the back and i like said i feel like she didn't even know which one to like ask for at that point.

At that point, she was like, damn, she obviously knows this ID. Yeah. Because the address has changed. Yeah. I was so happy. But obviously, too, if you knew anything about IDs at this point, which they have like the flashlight there, too. And they were doing that.

Yeah, they got flashed. We went through the ringer. It was crazy. And so. To have like two mules yeah and at that point though like if you have a sticker on the back of your id you took that thing to the dmv so clearly it says it's an id i don't know anyways and it's like if you don't this is what scares me though if they think at the end of the, like you just don't look like your picture.

Yeah. Then like, there's nothing. Yeah. What are you going to do? Like, sorry, I was cuter and skinnier back then.

I don't know. Because I guess you're just out of luck, but I feel like I've heard some instances of people like, well, like fine, like I'll go find a cop and like, they'll like tell you that my ID is real or something. Like people get pissed sometimes when it comes down to that, well, like, fine, like, I'll go find a cop and like they'll like tell you that my ID is real or something like. Yeah.

People get pissed sometimes when it comes down to that. But like realistically in that situation, like what we would just go back to our hotel room. I don't know. It's weird having to convince people that it's your ID when you're this old. Yeah. I don't like it. No. It's a very awkward scenario.

I guess you can get like other forms of id but if it doesn't have your picture on it show them your facebook i don't know it's still weird i feel like it's in those moments though where when you get asked like a very simple question like even if you're just talking to someone they're like oh what what's your favorite movie and you can't remember you can't remember. That's why I have a list of some of my favorite things. I know, but I'm saying like in the moment. And when someone's like, what's your zip code?

Or like, what's your Zodiac sign? And they throw you off and you're like, why are you asking me this? Yeah, I just panic and I forget everything about myself. I'm like, I don't even know my name. You could be right. I don't think I've ever been questioned about i think maybe once about my own id and it was because it was in the process of becoming instead of like a horse or instead of a vertical id it was turning into horizontal so they stapled like a paper to it at the dmv

and then i tried to use it some they're like well i can't use this because there's a paper stapled i'm like that's what they did at the dV like they haven't sent me my new idea this is all I have and they're like well we won't accept this yeah it's unfortunate yeah the whole thing um another another issue I think unfortunate it's the word of this this episode because our friend so we went with two other girls because the guys do their annual golf trip, which we say annual, but they have multiple every year. So one of their many annual golf trips. And so we were like, you know what? Last minute, let's do a girl's trip. So we asked the girls of the guys who went and two other girls were able to go with us and one of the girls we're getting

ready we're curling our hair all of a sudden a fucking firework comes out of her curling it sounded like a firework too it was like boom yeah and then i saw the spark go through the sky well not the sky but our hotel room me and you were in the bathroom doing our hair and i was like what the fuck was that are you okay it literally shot out a firework out of her curling iron and by the way it wasn't even like an old one or anything right it was a pretty nice car it was yeah like shouldn't have happened either way we and then we were like trying to figure out was that the plug was the curling iron we didn't really know so she had to trash her curling iron there we almost caught the place on fire that would have been no good it was a very um sketchy scenario so be warned if you have an old curling iron or if you just use a wrong plug just be on the lookout

be on the look i mean i had never seen anything like that in my life it almost hit one of the genuinely feared for my life at that point because i didn't know like what was coming out next like i didn't know if it was gonna be like round two fireworks show well with fireworks we don't do well with fireworks and yeah and then another one of our friends was like walking by and it almost shot her so i actually don't know what would have happened we wouldn't have been going on no wine tour that day yeah yeah it was definitely an experience and we almost burned the hotel down so but we didn't that was that and we did it and then we made it to our wine tour which was honestly so fun i it was such a good time i was kind of on the edge about it because the last time i did a wine tour

was it was up north but it wasn't in traverse. And it didn't end that well because I just feel like two glasses of wine really puts you over the edge. It can have that effect. I was so hungover the next day. Wine hangovers are a different kind of hangover. I don't know if it's the sugar that's in them or what it is but my head typically if i have too much wine is pounding yeah it's rough it was very rough so i was a little bit nervous but i didn't get hung over i feel like we we did pretty well we did well and the wine tour was during the day we got like a nice lunch afterwards. We were mixing in so many waters.

We were being very smart about our wine tour. Yeah, but it was a lot of fun and literally feels like not Michigan. I know. It also felt like we were like there forever and we were only realistically there for a day and a half. Yeah, well, because it was so last minute. We literally had 24 hours pretty much to be there um but yeah so that was our weekend and also when we came home we caught the lions game we left really early so we caught the lions game they won they're

officially two and one let's go go. Just like the Chiefs. And speaking of the Chiefs. There's a lot going on there. I caught that game as well. I did too. And lo and behold, minding my business, just on my computer watching the game. And I see Miss Taylor Swift. I was floored.

I was looking at my phone or something because I do enjoy watching football on Sundays but I do like to pair it with a little bit of TikTok scrolling so I was mid TikTok scroll and Brian was like it's Taylor Swift and I go what and I threw my phone and I stood this close to the TV like an inch from it and was just staring in awe because I couldn't believe that she was actually there I think I stood at the TV until they showed her for a second time because I was like there's no way that this is real I immediately was like this is kind of what we were just talking about we said that she's been doing so much more she's been living her best life yeah and so i was like i really wasn't that shocked but i was like wow she's really confirming this which we have a couple theories about which i'll get into the at the end or at least i have a

couple theories i saw i saw a theory on tiktok and i was like that could be true and then i saw another one and it's not it's not the typical like this isn't real this is for pr right this is just theories of other theories about it but so she's confirming she's with travis kelsey she's going in and out of this thing in a popcorn cart right which to no one's surprise because i mean she does go in and out of her tour on a cleaning cart from backstage to the actual stage so that i was not surprised by but what i was surprised by was the footage of her and travis kelsey walking through the stadium you know like the back side of it yeah like and exiting just getting in his little old vintage car and driving into the sunset together i mean that was a little bit like

movie it was a little bit movie-esque i expected them to leave you know in like a blacked out sedan suburban type situation where you don't really know if it's them or not but it all just seemed so normal and casual i mean not normal but like it just seemed like oh yeah this is what we we do on sundays like i go and i watch my boyfriend play sports and then we drive off and rent out whatever the restaurant was they rented out together well people think that they've been like secretly dating or at least talking since july Because she wore, she had a shirt on that looked like one of the Chiefs merch under her jacket and she was backstage somewhere on the golf cart and people are like, was that the Chiefs merch back in July?

Was it an Easter egg? And you know what keeps throwing me is I'm pretty sure in that video she's wearing a hat very similar to the one you're wearing. So I keep feeling like this is an easter egg this is an easter um no and i was this is what i was really interested in because like the impact that taylor has is obviously huge everyone agrees on that right but i just get blown out of my pants crazy expression with that's a new word your pants excuse me what i was gonna i don't know i was like combining the expression like

fly by the seat of your pants and like blowing your socks off is that what you were going for just go for both of them no that's a good one anyways listen to me i get blown out of my seat no whatever my socks it's all getting blown away you were you were blown away i was blown away by the numbers, by the sheer impact with the numbers. Give us the data. And so since Miss Taylor Swift visited her boyfriend's football game, the Swifties have caused a nearly 400% spike in Kelsey merchandise sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites including the NFL shop

and it's put him in the top five selling jerseys of the NFL out of every player in the NFL top five selling jerseys he also gained 300,000 followers in the first 24 hours after she attended the game well I wonder if I mean i know swifties are out here wilding i was gonna say i wonder if many of those jersey purchases are for a halloween costume because i've seen that idea floating around tiktok of have your boyfriend be travis kelsey football player and then you get to be taylor swift as like a halloween costume i just asked evan if we should do it did you that would be really cute i think you should everyone will do it so yeah i have um we'll talk about my halloween costume you don't want to give it away i don't want to give it away

but it's it's in a similar um similar sense but what else their swifties are going about their business doing is they're jacking up the ticket prices of the chiefs games this is where i draw the line demand and let me tell you what these tickets were already expensive when i looked a year ago wanting to go to the game the opening game yeah that's because we talked about how you thought you were going to go. Sorry, my hair is like stuck in my hoodie. No, you're OK. We thought you were going to go because your friend lives in Missouri. So you thought you were going to go.

Tickets were crazy for that game. But that's where I draw the line because I cannot stand the way that ticket prices have been for everything. It's driving me absolutely nuts. Even like I think I I don't think we talked about it, but like Olivia Rodrigo tickets went on sale. And before even the pre like resale or yeah, before the resale, before the presale ended, it was already like 400 bucks for the cheapest one. Yeah, it's like it's just out of control. Where do we draw the line? But I mean, tickets,

I just feel like tickets are an all time like demand for, because I feel like artists are just bigger than they've ever been. Like, and also live events were like not happening for all of COVID. And I feel like with the combination of it all, it's just absurd and I feel like we're gonna see an absurd spike in the Chiefs fan base because Swifties are loyal and now I feel like they're gonna be watching all the Chiefs games yeah looking for her yes they're gonna they have one mission and that's a mission but

this is what my mom said and I thought this was kind of a wild take she was like honestly thank god that game was a blowout because imagine the headlines and i would hope that these would not be the headlines in this day and age but if she went to the game and like travis kelsey had like the worst game of his life and they lost and it was this whole thing and they were like it was because taylor swift was there like yeah that would have been terrible and i would have hated to see that happen but they but people have done that sports fans did that to jessica simpson and a bunch of other women yeah i know it's just funny because i've seen people being like imagine all the men who like don't like taylor swift now having all of ESPN, NFL. They're having so much fun with it, too. Every single sports network is just totally taken over by this.

Every post-game interview, every interview with any athlete has been all about Taylor being there. Or like a Taylor pun, like, shake it off to the end zone. I don't know, all kinds of little puns just to make it a little bit more fun yeah well what was not so fun is Travis Kelsey's ex seeing all this coming out and basically being like oh he's a cheater she needs to watch out um like I think she's smart but like she needs to be warned I just think it's wild that this girl came out of the woodworks they dated in 2016 for maybe four or five months and now she's going to the news and she's like you

know what i'm gonna let my voice be well to be fair we know how this works a little bit and like they probably sought her out and were like what's your comments on this and she was probably just like caught off guard and didn't know what to say but yeah I mean it's a bold statement to make of like he's a cheater oh he's a cheater I don't know it's just kind of wild but I have a few conspiracies about the relationship just in general not having to do with all that drama but let's hear them so the first one that I actually saw on TikTok which I think could be true like the reason that Taylor chose to do this now and the timing of it was because she wanted to help Sophie Turner get out of the media have a little privacy and take that spotlight so that

it would all be about her and stop being about Sophie and Joe. That's not a bad conspiracy. Like it's not, it's not necessarily a PR relationship. Like they could have really been together since July, but she's deciding now to go public with it because I do think she's very smart about when she decides to make her private information or whatever it might be calculated at some point but like it's basically to say that she just did this to help Sophie and get that out of the thing and she did meet with Sophie Turner again for the second time it just really wasn't reported on that much saw that she met with her Thursday before the game which was Sunday so she did meet with her one more time so she could have been like girl listen I got you I've got you I'm gonna go to

the game Sunday could you imagine that just being like oh you know what I got you you're having a bad week I'm gonna go to my secret boyfriend's football game and this will all be blown I truly think that that's kind of how she operates because she knows the power that she wields and she like tries to use it for good very calculative yeah like for a situation like that to help her friend I could totally see her doing that the other theory that I was kind of thinking, so you know how Taylor Swift last year in November, she partnered with Amazon and NFL for a Thursday night football.

And she announced her midnight's video on the Thursday night football game. Yes. So my thoughts is she's kind of been forming this relationship with the NFL. Now it's getting very this relationship with the NFL. Now it's getting very solidified because the NFL definitely has to be on board. Love her with all of this going on profile. That was like nine, 24, 20, 23. Taylor was here. Yes.

So my thought is that she's been cultivating this relationship with the NFL. She's growing it right now. I'm thinking that she ends her November or her heiress tour in November of 2024, right on the perfect timing for her to start preparing for a 2025 Superbowl performance. Also, if she still is with Travis Kelsey at this time, let's say for some

reason the Lions beat them in the Super Bowl this year, that they could come back and win the Super Bowl 2025 while she performs. I'm just saying if that's the script that the NFL wants, who are we to stop them from that script? We would never never i like that we added in the the lion super bowl win that feels important it feels relevant feels like it's what the people want yes and the people want taylor at the super bowl halftime performance while her boyfriend wins wins a super bowl in 20 and then they are king and queen. Of the prom. Of the prom. Yeah, so those are the conspiracies that I kind of feel about it,

which I still think both could be true at the same time. I think both conspiracies could be true. I feel like they both feel magical. They feel right in my heart. Yeah. There's more going on, though, with nfl games and celebrities if you will attending these games so and again here's the nfl just inserting themselves into all of this stuff they want to be a part of all of the pop culture going around not just sports pop culture they want to be you know in with the swifties they want alex earl's fan base they

want it all yeah because apparently alex earl went to go support her boyfriend what is it wasn't it her boyfriend i thought you i just went for shits and giggles she's calling him like oh braxton yeah i think they're just friends interesting i that was what the big sign was about and then they kissed yeah they're just friends i don't keep up with that drama too too often and she did just do that podcast so like i guess we could have watched that we could have we could have did a little bit more research i don't know i don't i feel like it probably just varies on the day football man yeah not boyfriend football okay, not boyfriend. Football man. Okay.

But like they're talking. They kiss on occasion. That's, I guess, one way to put it. But anyway, so the NFL is really getting into all this drama. And they want to bring all these celebrities to their games. They're bringing all the news headlines to them. They're doing it. So they had Alex Earl. They're doing it. So they had Alex Earle.

They had Taylor Swift. Apparently, they had the cast of Jersey Shore. Family reunion. Yes. And so one of the people that were supposedly there was Angelina. And, you know, she's not, I guess, as close with the rest of the cast so I saw multiple videos from the cast posting like on the field taking little videos together and she was not in them and she did claim in her story that she was not on the field but I don't know how true that was so what happened

with her apparently she's at the game she goes on the field she sees a wife of one of the NFL players and you know the wife is like saying hi to her man or whatever anyways she the wife says that she clearly saw her knew he was married and with his wife and also then took to his social media one of the players on the Jets. And on his social media, it's very clear that he's a married man. He has pictures with the wife in question, the kids. And she proceeded to DM him saying, see you soon or something along those lines. Yeah. And, you know know it caused this big drama because the wife i guess saw it and made a tiktok video about what why are you dming my husband that's weird

um and now it just turned into this whole thing and supposedly you know like she was denying that she ever did it then she was saying like no i did it in a friendly way. I was never on the field. I was on the field. There's no reason to send that message in a friendly way. I feel like this could have been written in as a shady story. It really could have. And we would have given our thoughts. So, I mean, in that case scenario, if you're that person DMing the man when you see that he's clearly married

that's shady as fuck that is shady as fuck that couldn't be me i would hope not but you know what was funny actually her like one of her defenses that like i didn't do this was that she's engaged yeah but you know what we've seen it once We've seen it twice in the shady stories here. People are not always loyal. And just because they are engaged does not mean that they are going to act with integrity. Damn. Was that like the quote for this episode? I think so.

That might be my beautiful quote of this week. Yeah, well, it definitely it was it was definitely shady um so yeah i don't know what's gonna come of that you know what's funny though i feel like i've heard this before is that like sometimes people are like more attracted to a man if he has a wedding ring on i hate that i have seen like have you heard that yeah it's like statistically proven i think as well which is just gross but you know what i think it is i literally think it's like women with another woman thinking like okay he can be committed he can do like these things i think there's like a thought process behind it i thought it was like women want what they can't

have i mean that could be it too but also to think like okay he went he could like it yeah to somebody else because he's already did that once not good way of thinking well no i see what you did there i see where you know they could think that that's a good idea but um no because if he cheats on his wife he's gonna cheat on you too yeah beautiful quote number two wow put that on a t-shirt um okay and some more football news i swear i think we're a football podcast now i'm not even kidding i think you said that last week like should we move to the sports section? Maybe I'll put us in there for a little fun. I think maybe this episode deserves to be.

Well, also just a little sporty. Big announcement about this year's Super Bowl. So, you know, we're predicting Taylor Swift's going to be 2025. Lions 2024. But Usher is going to be this year. or like somewhere that like doesn't naturally draw as large of a like tourism population, you need to go somewhere a little bit more discreet. Yes. So possibly 2025. I don't know where, they probably have it already planned out where it's going to be. It's going to be ruined because if TASF performs. performs no we'll just get ahead of the curve okay um but anyways so usher is performing at the

2024 super bowl he previously performed at the super bowl with the black eyed peas in 2011 and so it was actually funny how they announced this they had an ad using the confessions part two music video and they had different people call him and i don't know if you saw i did had kim kardashian call him and let him know with his old clip from the music video and basically they pretended that like she's having this conversation with him from back then they did it with like Deion Sanders. They did it with Kim Kardashian. They did it with. Present day Usher. Which I thought that that would be the clip that they led with.

Because I thought that was really cute. Really like full circle moment. Yeah. But what pissed me off. I mean I thought it was cool that Kim Kardashian was doing it. But everyone was like. Kim Kardashian's performing with Usher. At the Super bowl halftime maybe not everybody but like i firsthand heard people saying that and i was like no kim kardashian

is not performing with them she's just a part of the ads they're doing and there was multiple celebrities a part of it right that's weird they basically picked different celebrities to make sure they hit every market so that like every market would see what was going on yeah so they just picked different ones for different exactly smart marketing yeah it had nothing to do with her and apparently she just been to like a couple of his shows so that's why they like also asked Oh, yeah. But, yeah. He's also having a new album coming out called Coming Home. And it's rumored that he has plans to have pole dancers in his performance. I don't know how the Super Bowl planning committee will feel about that. Because I feel like they aim to keep it pretty classy pretty family friendly um but who's to say really

well it's crazy because i remember when um j-lo did her super bowl halftime performance and she had she had a pole but it wasn't necessarily like it she it was yeah she looked strong and she looked athletic when she was dancing with the pole that that's just that could be what they're going for no one said they were gonna be like naked that's true this is true it could just be something similar to the strength grace and creativity that j-lo displayed but people were not happy with J-Lo's. I remember hearing afterwards comments that people were saying that it was not family-friendly and they weren't happy with it.

I think she did it pretty classy, all thanks to her. I agree. I'm just saying that's what people, so I don't know if based on that feedback, they'll still make the decision to allow that or not. of credit to this because it was big in my world so Tana Mojo and Brooke have their podcast and I always get clips of it on my TikTok do you and I saw this clip of them they were talking about how somebody that they know that's like in LA is kind of stuck up and makes comments like if your thing is from like amazon or somewhere that's like not fancy they'll be like oh my god ew or like you know like they're not trying to be like necessarily mean but they're just kind of snot like yes nudie-ish yeah and they don't realize that they're doing it and they're like yeah like so sick of this person like doing this. I need to talk to them about it. And they're like known for being this way.

And a lot of the comments underneath were people guessing Madeline Klein. Really? Makes you wonder when you see multiple comments like that. Like where are these people getting it from? Yes. And then all of a sudden I see pete davidson and madeline are dating so i'm like was this a little pr move to cover up like to get traction that that was kind of getting yeah i feel like when in doubt date pete davidson honestly it's worked that needs

to be on a shirt when in doubt date pete davidson i would wear that okay like let's well that'll be out next um we'll make that shirt because literally i feel like anytime someone's having a little pr crisis it's like date davidson and it goes away you know you're not wrong and apparently he's on tour right now yeah you were you loved this tidbit of i did i was like i like that was like the one thing i told you i saw i was like you know pete davidson's on tour my note also here if we want to read more of my note says apparently pete davidson is on tour he's coming to detroit in october and we should go he should come on the podcast oh my gosh that would be crazy um dude could you imagine him sitting right here no i don't you'd have to sit over there

People. It's not out of pocket in the way of like. It's actually too in pocket. So it got cheesy. It's so predictable, like the lines that like, for example, it's cheesy. The writing is just like not. Unexpected at all. And what I mean by that is like, let's say someone's running and someone's

chasing them they'll be like oh no don't chase me or like something shut up okay like that's that's just an example of like what I mean it's so on the nose of like what's going on like verbally what's happening is being said in the script and I just can't get past it and I say it like I've been so into it and he likes this show yes and well the thing is we watched season one we were like oh my god it's so good yeah and then like season two he was still like in that mindset but I couldn't see past it and I kept ruining it for him like every time something cheesy would be said I would like pause and be like you didn't hear that you really that didn't bother you at

all you sound like Brian when we were watching the summer I turned pretty because he had to rewind multiple scenes just to show me how ridiculous some of the scenes I can feel that I did feel that but like this is worse than that for sure. Because I feel like the acting in The Summer I Turn Pretty kind of like over like. Overshadowed. Overshadowed some of the script. But in this case, it's just like not happening for me. And so I'll like pause it and be like. I thought this was like a critically acclaimed show.

It might be. And I'm the critic no um like i thought this was like like best acting ever the way i like i don't know why that's like the perception i have of it not like no is it like gossip girl vibes like in the way which is like girls i mean i think gossip girls are great too but like a cw show where it's like a little corny a little cheesy yeah like it would have been on the cw back in the day but the writing is not as good as like gossip those shows so it just because it's a little more predictable you could never predict gossip girl exactly i see i understand now but anyway so i was a very big fan of that and in the past and so when i saw this i

was also thinking about that because now is this also kind of because all this publicity has been going around about kelsey ballerini dating chase stokes such good publicity who is her ex madeline klein dated chase stokes which have we formally apologized for calling that relationship a pr stunt i think we did well i'd like to apologize again i think we might have just like well we said we were wrong we owned up to being wrong we thought it was for PR they're the cutest cutest couple ever and to be honest I feel like there was kind of some stuff going I saw a lot of like videos of him out and people were like oh saw Chase Stokes out like drunk or whatever and like just taking like weird bad videos of

him and i was like leave him alone but anyway then this kind of took that over and i haven't seen any of that so i also feel like in a way she kind of like i don't know if she tamed him a little bit or like what it was yeah but like i just it's actually the cutest thing i've ever seen sometimes love will do that to you like love will turn you into a better person. And my hope for them is that he wanted to be a better person for her. They're making each other better people and they'll get married. That's beautiful. They're one of my favorite celebrity couples.

Oh my God. This is so unrelated, but this just reminded me. So you know how when she performed at the VMAs. Yes. She did that on stage change yes you guys i meant to say this when i was talking about the 50 concert talk about that i talked about it after multiple kelsey banner ballerinas 50 cent did and it's so funny to like even say that but i just have to get this out into the world because if you go to his show i hope you're as blown away as i would was i just did not expect this from him to do multiple on stage outfit changes like the lights would go and then bam he's in a different

outfit and it happened like two to three times and i'm like do you see that again it changed and i was just in shock and i need the people to know that he does that and kelsey ballerini just did that and that's what made me think of it but i have to be amazed it was like a big thing the lights went and she put on her little black dress but anyway so yeah that was something i meant to say like two weeks ago didn't say and then after i was like britney damn it i forgot i really wanted to bring this up really did and now you did now everyone knows okay well yeah so anyways so now um madeline klein and him are dating and also i saw a little tidbit right before this that Selena Gomez was spotted with Noah Beck. Which was kind of, I don't know, I don't know what it means. But they were both at a soccer game.

My lack of excitement, I think, is all I need to say there. My lack of words to say. That's not who I would pick for her necessarily. It kind of makes sense so that like if they both just went to the game because i'm pretty sure she went with um nicola beckham and what's what the hell can i think of his name david beckham that's his dad. The son of David Beckham. You're a dick. You're an absolute ass. Okay.

um anyways she was at the game with them and we've seen her at soccer games before yeah she seemed also noah beck plays soccer and might be getting back into playing soccer because that was on my TikTok as well. And so it would just also make sense that they were just both at this soccer game, not necessarily dating or anything. But you know how that would make more sense. You know how the people come to conclusions that aren't. Yeah, we are. Yeah, we are the people. Also TV.

So we are talking a little bit about this tv series are potentially going to be rebooting more because since these strikes are going on yep it's easier to do a reboot than to rewrite or write an entire show right and there's a tentative agreement that's been made so strike could be coming to an end sooner than later so i don't know how i feel about like the office has been brought up as a reboot the um greg daniels the creator of the u.s version of the office has said that he is set to do a reboot i don't think a reboot makes sense unless you're bringing back the OG cast and you're doing it very well. Like Gossip Girl?

Right. Like I feel like everyone saw the first round with, not even the first round with Gossip Girl. Who hasn't done a reboot these days? And I just don't think they're necessarily always that successful. I think you have to have a really good story. You have to have OG cast

because that's the nostalgia that people want. People don't want brand new cast. Of course, some new characters, but... Yeah. I don't know. I just feel like eight times out of ten reboots, people act like they want them

and they're so excited. Like, oh, yeah, this is coming back and everyone ends up, you know, general consensus is, oh, yeah, it kind of sucked like yeah yeah a lot of sequels are like that too i mean not all but yeah it can be iffy i feel like people get so attached to the show based on the characters and then when you try to come back without them it's like that's really not why i was here right um but yeah so that'll be interesting to see i've been watching um and i'm gonna mess this up but basically it's called shelter it's like hardened corbin's shelter on amazon prime and actually it

got introduced to me because it came up as a suggestion after the summer i turned pretty really so i put on the first episode and i was hooked it's so good it's like a mystery and it's very i don't want to spoil it but i've watched every episode and what's pissing me off about it and we've talked about this before is that it only drops one episode per week but every week i've been watching the one episode and it's always such a good cliffhanger at the end of the episode that i have to go watch the next episode and i highly recommend it and the acting is very good. That's exciting. And the script is good and everything is good.

And it just keeps you on the edge of your seat. That's one of the other good parts about fall, like September, like late September specifically, is a lot of TV shows come back and start airing. Like Bachelor in Paradise is about to be on. The Golden Bachelor we talked about. paradise is about to be on the golden bachelor we talked about that is starting to air this week survivors premiering this week i am i'm ready i'm hyped i need some new shows in my life maybe i'll pick up shelter too i highly recommend it is the whole season out now or is it still releasing no but there's like at least eight episodes out right

now so you have a lot to catch up on love that um i'm just hoping they don't like there was multiple episodes where it ended on such a good cliffhanger i was like is this the last episode of the season and like panicked but it wasn't yeah that's always tough so i'm hoping it still has like at least two more but we'll see um but it's kind of spooky so with that being said please write in again your spooky stories because starting next week we want to read spooky stories so write them in please and but before we do that and before we switch gears let's finish this off with some shady stories. Shady story number one. When I was 15, one of the beaches where I used to hang out was next to what was an unofficial nude beach because it was secluded. One summer day, my mom dropped off my friends and me at the regular beach. My friends and I left our stuff

behind and headed over the rocks to the nude beach we all made a pact to take our suits off and go nude but i was the only one who did of course when i went back to get my suit it was gone we looked everywhere and it was nowhere to be seen a lady on the beach gave me her cover up because i had a towel and nothing else by the way while we were searching some boys hanging out not nude were cracking up and i'm pretty sure they were the ones who took my suit i had to make up a story to my mom when she picked me up as to why i was wearing a cover-up that was too big for me how what like what story do you tell your mom in that situation like you were out in the water in your suit if that was me i would have told my mom what happened she would have gone

found that suit um but this immediately made me think of um did you watch that new movie with jennifer lawrence yes yes i know what you're talking about um it's the one where she dates like the younger boy to make money um no hard feelings yes i so i saw this in theaters and i didn't really know what it was about when we like went to see it we're just like let's go to the movies and it was out and so it's like oh jennifer lawrence and it i audibly laughed it was a really funny movie it was just so ridiculous that it was funny but in one of the scenes they go into the beach and she convinces the guy to get naked with her they go in some kids steal their stuff and she runs after them butt ass naked and starts like beating them up and it's the funniest scene i have ever seen and also she's like fully

nude which i she didn't i didn't expect that in the movie like but she did an interview saying like the interviewer was like what would you think if your kids saw this and she was like well hopefully they don't but also it's cgi i guess they like cgi'd like some of it so it wasn't like her actual nude. Yeah. Body parts. Interesting. I didn't know they could do that.

Yeah. And like Evan was so like, what the hell? Because like I knew about it before because I had seen the interview that she did. I didn't know about that. And I told him, he's like, you can do that. And I was like, yeah. But it's the funniest scene in a movie that I've seen in so long. And I actually rewatched it.

I think it was, um, I don't know what it was on. I don't think it was already on Netflix. I don't know what it was on, but I watched it at home too. I watched it twice. Dang funny.

Um, but yeah, that's exactly what I thought of when I read this story. And I feel like that is pretty shady, but like, if you have friends there, they could give you right like you were the only one it all worked out you didn't get like revenge on these people that took your swimsuit so i'd say it's like a six out of ten i like if they would have beat him up like jennifer lawrence then it would have been ten out of ten right which we don't condone violence but no no no why would we want that not for

entertainment or anything i agree six out of ten shady story number two this one is short but sweet this happened to me ages ago i got sung by a wasp and ever since i've hated all insects and always make sure to spray them when i see one in the house. But people aren't considerate of my fear and they don't want me spraying insects even when they let them in. And that's the story. Do you think I wrote the story? I truly thought you did.

Did you? No, I didn't. I thought you were going to be like, no, I did write this. I didn't. This is how you act when it comes you guys my fear to bees to insects as i get older the more fearful i get the spiders at the restaurant in traverse city oh my god you guys we were at this restaurant in traverse city

after a beautiful day beautiful acting so mature drinking wine just being the most mature versions of ourselves that we could be we really were all things considered we were very mature this trip and then it ended because we went to this restaurant we're like let's sit outside you know what it's a beautiful day it's a beautiful evening and we're sitting there and all of a sudden like it starts getting darker so we can see the shadows on the wall more with the lights that were coming down. And we see the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life. Just casually crawling right behind one of our friends. The one that almost got shocked up with the girl.

Yeah, that poor girl. So she went through it. She was going through a lot. And so this spider is just right behind her head. And it's as big as my hand literally this is how big it was and we just all look at it and we're like oh hell no and then there was more yeah but so we move our chairs and by the way they were like those big heavy metal chairs so we like scrape them against the ground like everyone outside everyone outside looks at us

like what's going on and we're just staring at the wall. There's like a hundred spiders. All of our chairs were like lined up staring directly at the wall. So nothing could be missed. But I swear to you, that wall looked like they had decorated for Halloween. And they just had like the fake spider webs up and spiders because it was not recommended. Yeah, it was bad. And then we literally got to the point where we moved inside because we were so terrified i know of the spiders we were prepared to get our

meals because our food hadn't come out yet into go boxes and to just depart the premises altogether but the waiter kind of talked to son he's like you could just sit inside that'll be okay too and we're like oh yeah i guess i guess we don't need to be that dramatic uh-huh um but yeah uh i would say this is like two out of ten yeah it's not really shady at all like it's understand like i understand so i don't think this is reasonable this is how you should act yes shame on everyone else they're the shady ones um okay shady story number three when i was 20 i started dating this guy and quickly realized he was shady let's call him john he never kept a job and always asked to stay at my place he was constantly part partying, drinking, doing drugs, etc. After one month of dating, I broke up with him, but two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. I decided to keep the

baby, knowing I would most likely be raising the baby without him. Fast forward six months, he reappears, saying he would like to give our relationship another try and would step up to help me. I reluctantly agreed to give him a second chance. So I'm seven months pregnant, and we're at his house getting some of the things together so he can come stay with me. A car pulls up in the driveway and runs to me saying hide hide hide now. So I run into the bathroom off of his bedroom and hide in the shower. I hear someone knocking then banging on the front door. He doesn't answer it and the next thing I hear is glass breaking. The person was breaking into the house, climbing through the window of his bedroom. Then I hear John say, you broke into my house?

What the fuck are you doing? Next, I hear a woman's voice yelling back. I came to save you. God told me to save you. We are supposed to be together and have a baby. Needless to say, I was freaking out, terrified that this obviously deranged woman would possibly want to hurt me if she found me in there. I hear more yelling and there's a scuffle. Then John comes and grabs me and says we have to get out of here. He had

apparently picked this woman up and physically threw her out of the house onto the front lawn. We run into his car and I see her laying there still screaming at him we drove up to a convenience store and called the cops after we knew the cops had arrived and drove us back down his house she's being put into an ambulance still screaming and the cops tell john this woman had probably planned on kidnapping him or me or both of us they found duct tape zip ties knives and a tarp in the trunk of her car i've never been so scared in my entire life turns out shady john had worked for this woman and they had an affair apparently he had used this woman for money and then just disappeared without ending the relationship and something in her snapped needless to say i ended things with john a couple weeks later i

found out he was actually arrested for assault for throwing her out the door. Here's the thing. So when she broke into his house and he tossed her out of the house, he was arrested for that? Yeah, like how is she not charged with breaking and entering? Yeah, like that seems like self-defense right there. Like I understand why we ended things with John john he seemed like he was not that great but at the same time i want to know that if somebody breaks through glass to get into my house plans on kidnapping me if i defend myself and throw him out the window which would never happen because physically

probably not um that i would be protected by my right to defend myself in my home i feel like there's got to be more to the story here because yeah i i think typically especially if you could prove that they had this intent which they obviously did yeah then you had the right to react the way you did um but yeah that was very wild and scary a bit that could be almost that's our lead into spooky stories that is our lead into spooky stories i think i planned that myself right right you thought we do here we plan um yeah i would say this is like a nine out of ten it's pretty good right yeah i agree nine out of ten but as we said this leads us perfectly into spookiness and we will be back next week with some spookiness
