Starting point is 00:00:12 I'm coming home, I'll say, Oscar, get right now, we're doing a podcast. You know what I mean? Yes, emergency episode. Like in the wings still. I'm like, look what just happened to me. A thousand percent. I hope she does come back like that. Her name is Trish, she's got the fish and all, it got some filthy rich pretty and pink. Hot topic queen and that's what everybody thinks, she's just Trish.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Hi guys, welcome back to Just Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish.
Starting point is 00:00:41 I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your host, Trish. I'm your's just Trish. Yay! Hi, guys. Welcome back to Just Trish. It is a Halloween episode.
Starting point is 00:00:53 We are giving you looks. We are serving looks. It is happy, wicked week. Happy, wicked two months, honestly. It's just going to be wicked for the next 40 days, whenever it comes out. It comes out November 22nd. I know exactly the date it comes out.
Starting point is 00:01:05 I'm just trying to be casual. We're giving looks. And for the record, I just want to say today I had the Elphaba plan. Go back, rewind to like three, four weeks ago. I had said I was going to be Elphaba on October 21st. It's been that way because we did a whole set. We built a set in my garage to do As Long As You're Mine. So I know you might be thinking like, Trisha, this is Act 2.
Starting point is 00:01:22 The movie's only part one. I get it. But we had to fast forward ahead to be Fiyero and Elphaba because I've always wanted to do it and I don't know. That's what we did. So we built a little set in our garage. It's very cute. We've been doing the most. I've been up since like literally 4am because it was just like a lot to get this. I did a set up in the garage where it's like a music video
Starting point is 00:01:38 basically and then we did one here and it's just like a lot. It's a lot to do. All while having a toddler who doesn't want to leave us and she was just like no. So we were getting ready with her. But it's great. We're here. Hi. Welcome to Just Trish. Wow. Today we have two sponsors. Yes we do. We have SeatGeek. Trish10 for 10% off. That's for everybody who's ever used SeatGeek. We love SeatGeek so much. Go get your tickets to all your favorite shows. And Adam and Eve. Use the code JUST
Starting point is 00:02:03 J-U-S-T for 50% off any single item. You guys know shows. And Adam and Eve, use the code JUSTJUST for 50% off any single item. You guys know we love our Adam and Eve for all romantic means. And our Patreon. We haven't decided on a headshot yet, so there will be a headshot coming next month. But what's really exciting is our editor, Jimmy, joined us for Dressed to Impress this week, and it was so much fun. So if you're part of the bonus video tier, you got to see Jimmy, our editor, and me and Oscar play Dressed to Impress.
Starting point is 00:02:24 It was such a serve. And if you join the higher tiers, the headshot tier, the producer tiers, Moses is making notes with it, you do get the headshot sticker. The headshot sticker. And for our producers, oh, wow. You get one with Moses' handwriting on the top of it. You get a notepad and a pen this month because we are doing, we're going to skip the handwritten cards this month because I need to write more of them for you guys. So we're going to skip them this month, but you're going to get two items. You're going to get the pen and the notebook. Originally, we were going to do them separate, but if you're in the producer, you get both.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Plus, you'll get your name in the credits. You'll get the headshot. You'll get the Bitmoji sticker. Let me know what headshot you guys like from this month because I still haven't decided. Maybe I'll do a Trishmoji alpha, but I don't know. Let me know what you guys want to see. Yeah. It's time to get our producer to work.
Starting point is 00:03:02 This is your notepad. Here's your pen. It's very cool. I know. I have more cool ideas for the producer. I want to do like cool producer t-shirts what you guys want to see. Yeah. It's time to get our producer to work. This is your notepad. Here's your pen. It's very cool. I know. I have more cool ideas for the producer. I want to do like cool producer t-shirts for you guys. And yeah. And hopefully give you more perks.
Starting point is 00:03:13 And also. Oh my God. It's already. My green's already coming off. It's already on the notebook. Okay. Well, I'll keep this one. Also, we sold out of Trishmas.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Oh my gosh. Trishmas Live is sold out. I'm like not truly, this is not me being humble. I'm like so not used to like people like caring. And I will say, this is my flex that I will say, this venue is triple the size any venue I played while I was in the height of my career with the vlog squad where I thought like it would be my most popular, which it was. I think it was like 700 and this is like triple that.
Starting point is 00:03:47 A little less than triple. Huh? Popular. I'm going to be popular. Yeah. I, yeah, I feel very that. And I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm so shook. And oh my gosh, you guys, I don't want to spoil it, but I'm going to spoil this.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Cause I didn't even know. So Bang and Bun's going to be there. Right. We're so excited about that. We love you Bang and Bun. They're making a special Trish box. Wow. It's pink.
Starting point is 00:04:08 They already showed me the mock-up. They're like, we're ordering them. They already ordered them. So they're making a Trish box so everyone will get my favorite chicken fingers, which is like mild. It's not too spicy. It's just mild. And fries.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And it comes in a cute little box and it says Bang & Buns by Trisha Paytas. And it's like this pink little – it just looks so cute. And so that's going to be there too. I don't know. It all kind of came together. So it's like this like pink little it just looks so cute and um so that's gonna be there too i don't know it all like kind of came together so it's gonna be so much i can't believe i can't believe it's old i'm actually like i'm actually it was shocking because we were waiting for the episode to air for people to go buy tickets before it even aired you get a text yeah over a thousand tickets a thousand tickets before it ever aired i was crazy and i literally texted back i was like oh like a hundred like i was being so serious it's like there's no way
Starting point is 00:04:48 there's no way i'm i'm i'm always shocked and i really am and i'm very very grateful and um trish miss live right here in thousand oaks which they also told me the promoters were like we've never really had a market in thousand oaks and the fact that it sold out was even more impressive because they're like, wow. It's the same theater that like my brother took my nephew to see like a dinosaur production.
Starting point is 00:05:11 We went to see the Nutcracker there. Yeah, it's quite a venue. It's a venue. It is a beautiful theater. It is beautiful. I love it. No, I love it.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I love this area. I feel like all of you guys coming to Thousand Oaks, we love you so much, but you'll get the full Trish vibe here. It's just super fun. There's parking which is wonderful. That's like the best part
Starting point is 00:05:29 and yeah there'll be banging buns and it'll be really really exciting so it's fun. We're putting our whole badusi into it. We're doing all of it. So thank you. Thank you. I'm like really really really shocked. I actually like made a video of me like crying but then I was like let me not put this online because maybe I don't know. I haven't cried online in a while but I was like sobbing when I found out. I was like really really really shocked I actually like made a video of me like crying but then I was like let me not put this online maybe I don't know I haven't cried online
Starting point is 00:05:46 in a while but I was like sobbing when I found out I was like I think I was getting my nails done because I wasn't even expecting it to sell out and I was like sobbing crying and I was like let me not be too emotional but I was very emotional and I like connection also maybe I'll post it I don't know but thank you guys I'm very excited and the artist pre-sale general sale I think yeah if we do another show i think i'm like we can i kind of told him we could skip it because like be honest like the people who are going to come to the show are people who watch right like the theory is you do the artist pre-sale for like your fans right to get access and then like taylor swift eras tour yeah yeah there was like the
Starting point is 00:06:17 pre-sale wherever and like she crashed ticketmaster is very you you and taylor swift are very similar you did say that you said early on you're. You're like, okay, eras. I predicted it. I just knew. And then when you described the set list, I'm like, this is literally the Trish eras for It's going to be the set list. I'll release the set list too. I was like, you should release it so that way people can download the songs and listen. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:36 It's going to be. You want to be ready. You want to be able to sing along. Yeah. It's going to be amazing. I'm actually like, I'm so, so shocked and so excited and so happy. Hey, that's my microphone. Huh? Did you hear it? Oh, is that, you hear it when I do that?
Starting point is 00:06:52 Really? Easy on the microphone. I thought it was only if you had jewelry. You hear that. There's no way. If you have one. Can you sing our song? We were getting ready for the live show. We didn't have notes for the live show. Can you, to get ready for the live show, can we sing our song we just did in the garage? It's 15 seconds.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Okay, ready? To be honest, I kind of didn't know the words to that part of the song that we were doing, but we'll try it. Ready? Okay. Oh, you have the lyrics? Oh, my God. I love it.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I love it, too. I love it. That's prepared. That's giving like daytime. Oh, not even like a late night show big. Yes. I know what you mean. Cue car teleprompter.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Yeah, okay, teleprompter. Wait, let me see. Let me just see what part of the song we're singing, because there's a couple different ones. I'll put the camera like this so you can see it. In front of me. Every moment as long as you're mine I'll wake up my
Starting point is 00:07:38 body and make up for lost time Say there's no future for us as a pair. And though I may know, I don't care. Just for this moment, as long as you're mine. I'll be what you want to. And see how bright we shine.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Borrow the moonlight. Before this is through. And now I'll be there holding you. As long as you're mine. That was great. Yay! He really did learn. Is that going to be on the set list? That's part of Trishmas. That might be the next tour. Like if we do
Starting point is 00:08:34 Broadway or something, then we'll do that. You should do it, Moses, for Trishmas Live. Like maybe it's cold outside or something, right? I only know I have puppy love for my wedding. Oh my god. You know what surprises me is you do commit. Like Moses does not sing. He's not bad. I mean, not bad, but like he just doesn't sing.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Like I remember even in the car early on like during quarantine, we'd be in the car and you would like, hmm, to the words, but you like knew the words, but wouldn't sing. I'm like, why don't you sing? And you're like, I don't sing. And I'm like, look at you now. You're just singing for everyone. Thank you. That was fun. I just want to sing. Here are my Fiero forever. Everyone's waiting, by the way, for
Starting point is 00:09:05 Jonathan Bailey's version of As Long As You're Mine with Cynthia Erivo. And because it's in part two, there's like no clips of it leaked yet. So if you're waiting for that version of Cynthia and Jonathan, this is close enough. Very similar. This is a little sneak peek of what you might expect. I know you're not on the
Starting point is 00:09:21 Wicked Hyperfixation yet, but I really need you to be. I really need you. I fully believe I will be. Oh, my God. Like, I'm honestly ready for it. Does any part of it give you tingles yet, like, when you're watching? Yeah, whenever I see the trailer, like, I get really into it. And, like, I'm already loving the press tour, even though it's, like, just in the beginning stages of the press tour.
Starting point is 00:09:39 But I love, like, how in sync, like, Ariana and Cynthia are. And they're just so cute so good they're they're one of my hot topics today which is like it's so crazy because i really did have this plan but i was like don't worry wicked fans honestly like i hate the internet's takes on it we'll get to it in a minute but like i hate all the internet right now like honestly internet people just really try to bring like any female that's like a lead down i know we've learned this with rachel's like we've learned this with ann hathaway we've learned this with Rachel Zegler. We've learned this with Anne Hathaway. We've learned this with Addison Rae. And, you know, it's just like anytime there's like a fierce, strong female lead, they're
Starting point is 00:10:08 like, let's bring her down or not. Anyways, we'll get to that. I have a whole rant on it. How are you? You're in your wicked wear. I know. I was looking back in the calendar for today and I saw, I saw Alphaba green skin, pink dress.
Starting point is 00:10:20 And I was like, I don't know if I can do it again. Like I'm a little tuckered out. We have a big one um on Thursday yeah so I'm like let me just do a little green um moment yeah so I'm still in the in the spirit you know you are very in the spirit you could be like a munchkin or something because that's what they wear you know like the green yeah I'll take it I like it I think you look great I like the green I like that we're all green is so like, green is a tough one to pull off makeup wise too. Especially when you are a bigger
Starting point is 00:10:49 girl. It's like you either look like She-Hawk or Shrek. Fiona Shrek. I was like, I feel a little Fiona, but it's fine. I think to have to be an alpha, I think you really have to just look perfect. You have to have the best facial structure and the best body and it's just like
Starting point is 00:11:05 really wasn't me so we're a little bit mixed up track no you're showing it no it looked pretty especially we were taking pictures earlier and everyone was like
Starting point is 00:11:11 are you wearing contact because her eyes you know the color changes when you're next to the green I really do love dressing up like it is a lot you guys know right at the beginning
Starting point is 00:11:18 it's just like so flustered it's a lot because it's just like oh my god like also I hate one thing I hate is like being late and because I had
Starting point is 00:11:23 so many people coming like it kind of throws off everybody being late and I, I hate, one thing I hate is like being late. And because I had so many people coming, like it kind of throws off everybody being late. And I hate, I hate it so much. I hate making people wait. So it was stressing me out a little bit and that was my bad, but I just didn't account for enough time for the body paint. But once I'm in it, I love it. And I feel when we were performing it, I felt it. I was like, I feel like we're in a performance. Like it's my Broadway dream to be like Alphabot. Like could never sing that part. And every Fiero is so hot. Like every Fiero is hot.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Like Adam Lambert was Fiero. The original Fiero, Norbert Lee at butt. Oh my God. He is the best singer in the whole, like the best. I literally found him on Instagram the other day. I'm like, should I message him and see if he wants to come on?
Starting point is 00:11:56 But he's like on Broadway right now. He's like so good. His voice is so good. Like I, you guys know I love Jonathan Bale more than anything. And his dancing through life is probably the most iconic thing I've ever heard. But the original Norbert Lee at butt, like he is so good as long as you're mine. Like I, you guys know I love Jonathan Bale more than anything and his Dancing Through Life is probably the most iconic thing I've ever heard. But the original Norbert Leo Wetz, like he is so good
Starting point is 00:12:08 as long as you're mine. Like I can't even imagine but I am excited to see how they do. It like brings me to tears. Have you heard the song? Oh my God. It like brings me to tears.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Their voices, Idina Menzel obviously is the original alpha and their voices together is like, it actually brings me to tears and when we were doing it I was like,
Starting point is 00:12:22 I don't know, you just feel so much emotion. It's so good. It's surprisingly not big on TikTok because we were looking for sounds. And it wasn't that big. But I think once part two comes out next year, I think everyone's going to gag for it. And I just, God, I really do just love, I love the Wicked movie right now. I love it.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I'm just, I'm giddy thinking about it. And I just, all of it is amazing. And yeah, it just can't come fast enough. I just want time. We have to go through a whole election before it comes out. I was like, damn, why did it have to like, it should have been before. Because like, you know, I don't know. Seems like November is a weird month, right?
Starting point is 00:12:52 Everyone gets a little, I don't know, hopefully it'll all be good. You know what I mean? But here we are. How are you? You said you're a little sick. You're losing your voice. No, I went to Horror Nights last night. And I did, I was spooky and kooky um what does that mean i just get really into it like like for example like one of the mazes is a quiet place so i went into it being like okay like
Starting point is 00:13:16 i'm really gonna give it my all and like also pretend that i'm really in a quiet place like i'm gonna try not to scream did everyone everyone do that? The actors are like, like, they're all really quiet. They're telling you not to. They're scaring you, but then telling you not to scream. How would they scare you? Like, they pop out.
Starting point is 00:13:32 There's a lady giving birth. It's crazy. And they get in your face and stuff. And I would try not to scream, but I screamed every time. Did you? Then I would be like, shh, you guys, shh.
Starting point is 00:13:41 And I would yell at them. To the actors? Yes. But why does that scream? What do you mean? It's a quiet place yeah so when you scream that's when the aliens hear you and eat you because they're oh yeah so if you make any noise it's over yeah so it gets worse if you scream yeah if you scream they they
Starting point is 00:13:55 come out and they eat you yeah yeah they did yeah wait like other characters that are already out there come out they hear a scream they're like animatronics, the big aliens. That's cool. Is it scary? It was pretty. The movie or the maze? The maze. The maze was pretty scary. Wow.
Starting point is 00:14:09 I got really into it. And then the weekend maze also. It was actually really good, this one. That was my second favorite. I don't understand. First of all, I love the weekend. How does he fit into the horror nights? That's so weird.
Starting point is 00:14:20 I think he just comes up with these little fantasies. It's his own little fantasy world. Like, if The Weeknd was a horror movie. Because it's basically, like, him playing the songs teleports you into this, like, demonic world. And then all these Ables are, like, getting unalived. What? Yeah, there's, like, Abel getting, like, chainsawed in half randomly. And, like, getting beheaded.
Starting point is 00:14:42 I don't know. But why him? Like, why is it not, like, i was kind of confused why it was able unaliving himself in all these different ways but i didn't really ask questions i was kind of going with it would i be scared like i would go through just for that one but what is it like do they pop out at you that one is a little bit more fun because it's like the weekend music is playing so it's like more camp i feel like it's not very realistic i like the ones that are like campy like right there's like the weekend one's really like campy there's this other one that's like it's like a female vampire slayer so i got into that like they all have like cute
Starting point is 00:15:15 costumes on and i was like yes living for the divas is it like a buffy knockoff kind of it's like van housing but like a girl version i remember they used to have that permanently there at universal oh yeah this one was just i don't know if it's like in a rotation but i don't know but like a girl version. I remember they used to have that permanently there at Universal. Oh yeah. This one was just I don't know if it's like in a rotation but I don't know. The divas were serving. Were they like crop tops?
Starting point is 00:15:31 They were just like like leather pants and like I don't know. It was all fitted like corset vibes. And they were vampires? Like what did they do? Like eat you?
Starting point is 00:15:38 They were vampire hunters and I don't understand the lore at all. She teamed up with the Bride of Frankenstein and they were teaming up and like uh killing monsters yeah i think ed helsing's all of them from what i've never seen the movie but i think the original ride was like vampires frankenstein like everything okay that makes sense yeah because i couldn't really keep up with the lore but um i was living for it and but then like the realistic ones like texas chainsaw massacre and stuff not really my vibe that's my
Starting point is 00:16:03 biggest fear is actually not massive we saw the movie when i was like 13 and i was terrified i was homeschooled at the time and i was so terrified i was like no those ones like the is it based on a real story do people just make it up to scare you said that too and i have no idea if he like it um he doesn't really get scared that much which is surprising because like when we went to it the first time i think this is our third time going and he gave me the vibe that he would be like afraid but really he kind of just like disassociates like he doesn't make eye contact when they jump out but i'm like you have to like get into it just close his eyes and he kind of like sets me up to like get the like he'll point to me like at the actors like he'll make eye contact like he's scared yeah like he wants to set me up to be scared um maybe that's
Starting point is 00:16:44 his kink. Maybe. But then I throw him into the corners like when I know they're going to come out. What do you mean you throw him in? Like I push him
Starting point is 00:16:50 to get close. Yeah. I do that too. I have to look out for myself. Always. But yeah, it was fun.
Starting point is 00:16:56 I saw I saw Oh no. Do I know? I saw Jenny Nicholson. Do you know Jenny Nicholson? Jenny? Wait,
Starting point is 00:17:04 who is this? I was so excited when I saw her. I love that you're so excited. But I was like, I'm going to come in here and you're going to have no idea. Should I know? No, she's very low key, but she posts every now and then. Almost like a Ted Nivison. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Posts once every couple months, but gets like five million views every time she posts. What does she post? She reviews a lot of amusement parks. She'll go to the new amusement park stuff and then do a commentary video on it or just random stuff. I have no idea. There was not a camera person with her?
Starting point is 00:17:36 No, she had a tour guide. Very bouge. You know, for us all, there's tour guides. Yeah, you can have a little tour guide. And I was gagged. So shout out Jane Nicholson. Shout out. It sounds like she's a big deal
Starting point is 00:17:47 just getting five million views a video. Yeah, like she posts every now and then but when she does, the girls watch. No, she was, I was like seated
Starting point is 00:17:53 at like a live show and she like walked by in a witch hat and I was, I turned to Darian, my boyfriend, I'm trying to say his name now but I turned to Darian
Starting point is 00:18:00 and I was like, oh my God, that's Jane Nicholson. He's like, who? And then I showed a photo like her Instagram and he's like, I don't know how you pointed her out in the crowd but I could be any girl and I was like, oh my god, that's Jenny Nicholson. He's like, who? And then I showed a photo, like her Instagram. He's like, I don't know how you pointed her out in the crowd. That could be any girl.
Starting point is 00:18:08 And I was like, because she just looks like a normal girl. Oh, really? How did you find her then? How did you spot her? She just walked right in front of me wearing a witch hat. And I was like, I'm Jenny Nicholson. Oh, so you can go in costume? They have like really strict guidelines for like what costumes you can and can't wear.
Starting point is 00:18:22 There was a lot of minions, a lot of hot dogs. I don't know. Why? What's that have to do with anything this in there no i think you can because it's kind of just like a dress right i think they like you couldn't be like wolverine mclaws you know what i mean like i see yeah or like a mask or anything i don't think did you see any of the wicked posters while you were there yes tons of wicked promo i didn't go into city walk though to see like the the whole. Oh, is that where it is? I think it's on City Walk, yeah. I've been seeing them build it. I want to go so bad. Universal, we would love you.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Yeah, this hat doesn't fit me. This was my hat for today, but it doesn't fit as per usual. I just have too big of a head. My head's so big, but we were trying to do... Well, it's also your hair and a wig on top. That's what throws it off. True, true, true. Damn, I wish you were to see.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I wanted to see what they were building. Like I wanted to see the outside of it. I've seen it on TikTok at Universal, but I haven't gone myself. Well, that's not true. They did invite me to a fan screening think? I'm never going to invite. Well, that's not true. They did invite me to a fan screening. So I'm never going to say that anymore. Just Universal and Wicked inviting me.
Starting point is 00:20:29 That's all I really care about, honestly. And you got the influencer Beetlejuice moment. That was true. I was hard on Warner Brothers. But honestly, that was cool that I got to see it early. I don't know why I was not very influencer and me to get invited back. I'm like, actually, no. But no, it was actually great.
Starting point is 00:20:42 I would like to get invited to more things. Yeah, that looks fun. It just looks a little scary and it is yeah but you're gonna do more like six legs no i i like universal because it's like kind of like more production-y and like there's more of a theme like i feel like a six flags or like a not scary farm it's just like things popping out at you, like zombies and stuff. This is like, there's memes, like there's the weekend, there's movies.
Starting point is 00:21:08 The weekend is wild to me. I would do it just for that, but like so random. That's so random. That's like, there's a just Trish Horman. It's like, what?
Starting point is 00:21:16 There should be kind of everything actually. That would be, that would be so cool. Universal next year, hit me up. We also went to a theme park and went to Disneyland last week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:25 For the first time in four years. Are you a Disney girly? Yeah. I'm not like hardcore, but I do love it. Like do you get excited when you get there? Yes. Yes. And I got really into it.
Starting point is 00:21:33 For people who are like, I don't like Disneyland. That is like so weird. Like I'm not either. I'm not like a Disney adult. I love Disney. But like if you don't enjoy Disney, that's like what? Like how do you not enjoy it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Like when you, especially when you get there, like, it's so immersive. I feel like it's hard not to get swept away. It's like the magic. It's so magical. And, like, we went with, like, an infant and a toddler. So, like, it's diaper changes, bottles, feedings. Like, it's a lot. But it's, like, even then, it's still so worth it because it really is kind of magical.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Because everyone is just in a fantasy world. Like, all the characters, by the way, should get a raise. I don't know what they get paid. I don't think they get paid enough because I'm on Disney TikTok. And those by the way should get a raise i don't know what they get paid i don't think they get paid enough because i'm on disney tiktok and those people will always say like i don't know what's true i don't know if this is true but they'll be like oh you know i slept in my car because i couldn't even afford like rent working for disney or whatever i remember that i think they were like unionizing or something i think something yeah where they could could not even afford to like live so hopefully now they
Starting point is 00:22:22 give them pay raise because honestly the character actors are like so good at interacting with like a two-year-old and a baby. Like they're just so good. They like – the ones that show their face, they're like in character the whole time. And then the ones that don't show face even more because they're like communicating with their hands. They know sign language. They're doing this because like Malibu always says thank you and like please. Yeah, and they're doing it back to her. I was like, oh my god.
Starting point is 00:22:42 That's so cute. No, it melted my heart the way they give hugs. And the rule is so true. There's a rule, and I always heard this, and I didn't know if it was true, where the character won't let go of the hug first. So it's whenever the kid lets go of the hug. And it was so true, because sometimes Malibu was like, yeah, she'd give longer hugs to some.
Starting point is 00:22:56 It was the cutest thing. I never did character meet and greets as a kid. I didn't know that was a thing. But honestly, I'd recommend it for a little kid, or if you're a big kid, I guess, too. But it was so much fun. Although the, what's it called? Oogie Boogie Bash was kind of scary. She was scared.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Oh, I've never been. But yeah, isn't that like a little bit more? Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's Halloween night. Yeah. It's a bit more scary. She was scared.
Starting point is 00:23:17 We left the parade early because she's like, absolutely not. I'm out. I am out. It was more loud, I think, at that point. She was scared of. And you know what else is scary? Are those little ones for the kids, like the Snow White. Have you been on those?
Starting point is 00:23:27 Oh, the rides? Peter Pan, Snow White, all the little ones. They're a little dark, right? Very dark. And then scary. When the villains come out, it's like super scary. I mean, you go through the story. And in the storyline, there's always something bad that happens.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Yeah. And you come out through it. But at that moment, it's, you know, I guess for a two-year-old, it feels real. But even the Mickey railroad, whatever, and Toontown, like that was supposed to be cute.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Like a blister and thunder. Yeah, it was like a tornado all of a sudden at the end. And I was like, why, why, why? So she was like freaking out over like everything. She liked most of it, but definitely the rides
Starting point is 00:23:57 were like a little scary. Even the carousel. The carousel was the one she had to get off. She was like, I'm out. I can't do this one. So she stopped it. She like Dumbo.
Starting point is 00:24:03 That was about it. But speaking of Villainites, okay, not to make this all about disney because i value hate disney but um have you seen frozen yes not in a while but yes okay same maybe i just don't remember but like hans was there at villain night and i was like is he a villain how do i not remember him being a villain that's what i said because i saw him i was like oh because we were frozen we dressed as frozen everybody he was christoph i was a snowman like it was frozen and i and baby elvis was on and i was like let's go take a picture next to frozen but i was like or next to hans and they're like oh and he was the only one from frozen and i'm like why is he the only one there and he's
Starting point is 00:24:33 like oh because he's the villain was he was he dubious at the end i kind of don't remember but i don't remember either i thought he was fine because he's the one that sings like uh what's the one that's like with you i've um love is an open door yeah like they sing a duet with anna so i mean i think i thought he was her prince i might be wrong maybe i remember there was some kind of twist at the end right was he dubious at the end i don't remember elsa froze anna let's see oh i think elsa froze anna and then spoiler alert and then i think he tried to kiss her but it didn't melt because it wasn't true love but like is that the villain maybe he just didn't know he didn't love her like that you know what I mean
Starting point is 00:25:06 that's what I was like wait I don't remember I remember there was like a little guy with a mustache I thought was the villain who wanted to take over Arendelle like I'm so confused and then our tour I was so like Hans is the villain I was like what oh my god I don't remember that so let us know if he was and if you can make an argument of why he's not the villain I also want to know because I honestly don't remember that and I feel like I would remember it so strongly and he's very cute usually the villains are so ugly you know like they always make them like not cute like
Starting point is 00:25:31 or less attractive I guess when it comes down to it when you think about it it's like the way they make him unattractive like Ursula just being fat is like you're evil it is kind of wild like the witch yeah like the right when she's like a beautiful like witch it's fine but then she like turns into the one to poison her she's like this Or old, too, right? Oh, like the witch. Yeah. Right. When she's like a beautiful witch, it's fine. But then she like turns into the one to poison her.
Starting point is 00:25:47 She's like this ugly, old. Yeah, you're right. All right. Well, I guess Mother Gothel's kind of a slay. Oh, yeah. She is pretty fierce. Yeah. But she turns old, too, if she doesn't get the hair or whatever.
Starting point is 00:25:57 So I don't know. Disney is wild. But it was a good time. We loved Disney. The other weird thing, the only other thing is, okay, so, okay, lines, right? Okay. If someone cuts you in line, look, it's Disneyland. But like, okay.
Starting point is 00:26:09 It's so minor. It's like not even a big deal. And obviously we didn't make a scene because it's Disneyland. But what do you do, right? Like, okay, so we were waiting in line for the Disney princess. It's like the best experience, by the way. So this is not disparaging at all. Like we love the Napa Rose.
Starting point is 00:26:19 We love everybody there. The princesses were phenomenal. Like they were talking to Malibu. They were asking her like, you know, where are the drawers? Help me find my Pascal. And then like when Elvis would come, they're like, oh, it's your little guppy. Like they were so good. They were, it was beautiful. It was wonderful. She loved it. Um, but you know, okay. So the things at Disney is you have to like line up for the princesses at the breakfast or whatever like that. And it's like so congested
Starting point is 00:26:40 back there. Cause it's like at the back of the restaurant or whatever. And so it's so congested. So like we went out and there was a line and then like we were out, but we'd have been blocking the door for people to come out. So we kind of like push back to the corner. So like the line, line is here, here's the door. And then we're the next to go here, but we don't block the door. So we go here. Right. Okay. So then, so then the, the line will start to snake like this. Okay. Right. You would think so Moses, me and Malib are out, and Elvis, and then my mom's coming out, like, later, but we're, like, here, right here, and then the people started coming out, and there was people, like, behind us, and then we saw one, like, literally, like, four minutes passes, like,
Starting point is 00:27:14 and she's coming from the door, and she kind of angles to the back of the line like this, so then they're, like, okay, we have to restructure the line, so they basically took the back of this line and brought it to the back of where the door, the blocking the door in front of us. So we did say something just like, oh, actually we were here. And then the people in front of us were like, no, you weren't. They were here first. But those were people we just saw walk out. So they clearly, they clearly cut.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Obviously with our kids, we're not going to be those people to be like, no. So I'm just like, okay, let's just go to the back line. And Mo's like, no, but we were here. I was like, I'll just go back to the line. What would you do in that situation? Because we did get cut like about four like, cut in front of us. And we clearly saw. And I thought maybe the people in front of us, like, just obviously didn't see us behind them for some reason because their backs were towards us the entire time.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Because, like, what – why would they be like, nope, you weren't? I was like, but we were. I was kind of gagged. I'm like, are they a hater? Like, do they not like me? I was like, that was so weird because they didn't know these people. And they were definitely behind us. I'm like, we just saw them walk out.
Starting point is 00:28:08 So maybe because they saw them, they thought they were just the next in line. I don't know. It was so weird because by the time they came out, it was like another two minutes before we had to redirect the line. So maybe they just saw them there and thought it was them and we came out last or something. I don't know. But would you say something? No, I'm very – especially like when there's kids and stuff too, I'm like not very confrontational. Even like people at Universal would like cut whatever and I'd be like eye roll or be like annoyed or whatever.
Starting point is 00:28:31 You don't say anything. But I didn't say anything, no. It takes like something really – I don't know, kind of triggering for me to be confrontational because I can be. But like only when it's like personal I think. If it's just like a cut, I'm like, okay, T. Like I'm annoyed and like I look annoyed, like maybe passive aggressively, but I don't think I would say. I think that's what it was.
Starting point is 00:28:49 I think for me, it was the person in front of us saying, no, we weren't. Like specifically, yeah. And like gaslighting me. I was like, we just saw. And I thought, you know me, I never know if I'm like missing things. So I'm just like, okay, let's go to the back of the line. I was like, no, we definitely saw them just come out. And I was like, that's what I thought.
Starting point is 00:29:01 But I was like, and it is annoying because you do wait in line for like so long for the disney princesses but yeah obviously we had malibu and elvis we're not gonna like start fighting people or anything but i am one of those people who want to moses will be more the person who wants to say something but i was like no it's fine let's just go to the back of the line i think that's the thing i just hate that when it's like someone's like no you weren't and i was like i wanted you so bad but it's disney we also don't want to get kicked out like there was a mom that recently got her we're trying to figure it out with kids you know what because they're going to see us behave so they're going to learn oh yeah especially malibu she's very oh my god yeah for sure so that moment i was like okay let's take a step back and see you know i guess that wasn't a
Starting point is 00:29:37 big deal in the screen screen scheme of things because we did see a mom get her what i mean it it just feels bad you know because we stand there we shouldn't I know. We see them just crossing us, not even looking. And then suddenly pretending they're in front of us. I think because, like, the attendant didn't know. And it was a long line. It was hot. Yeah, I think the attendant didn't know because she, you know, was a little older. Well, she just showed up to the scene.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Yeah. Seeing them in front of us. I think it was more the people in front of us being like, no, you weren't. I know. That was odd. That was odd. Yeah. That one I wanted to be like, oh, my God, you're a hater.
Starting point is 00:30:03 And I think in general, like, when you're with your kids, your attention goes, like, that was odd. That one I wanted to be like, oh my God, you're a hater. And I think in general, like when you're with your kids, your attention goes, like my attention is on the kids. So my peripheral just shifts down to them because there's so much to look after. So they don't fall. They don't touch. Like there's so much. I think everyone is like in their tunnel vision over there. There was a mom that got arrested.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Did you see that clip on TikTok? It was like a couple of weeks ago and she was like taken out of Disney and the kids were like crying and screaming. And they were speaking Spanish and they were like basically saying like, help us, like help us. And they're like crying or whatever. And it's like two little kids and the mom's like arrested. Do we ever know what happened?
Starting point is 00:30:34 Why she was kicked out? Like she was. They were sneaking in or something. There was somebody sneaking in. Oh, that's what it was. So she, yeah, she snuck her kids in, which I think it's like what two and under is free. And they were clearly like seven and eight. But even in that situation situation do you really have to take her out in handcuffs i know unless she's being maybe unruly did she get i don't know i don't know it seemed a little much
Starting point is 00:30:52 for disney and the kids were like crying and i was like that has to be so traumatizing i don't know i think like if you sneak kids in i don't know is this because again this is this situation again wherever the police is in disneyland they should also be aware of the kids like yeah the parents did something wrong you don't need to traumatize the kids thank you to the sponsor of this episode adam and eve you guys know i've been working with adam and eve for over eight years they are trusted in all things romance if you want to spice up your love life go to adam and eve.com and now with my code just j-S-T, JUST, you can get 50% off any single item plus free shipping if you are in the U.S. and Canada. I'm not sure what to do because I just think also maybe they should raise the age limit to free kids because isn't, like, at restaurants, like, 10 and under
Starting point is 00:32:52 is the kids' menu. So, I don't know. 2 and under eats free, though. Everywhere we went, we didn't know that. We kept thinking that. I actually didn't know that until the lady, a lady on TikTok calculated everything we ate for the day and she said, she's like, and it was weird because we couldn't get the bill and I was like, oh, that's weird. They only charge us for three because it was me, my mom, and Moses for the day and she said she's like and it was weird because we could get the bill and I was like oh that's weird they only charge us for three because it was me my mom and Moses were the adults and um each place was like that I was like that's so weird so the kids did eat
Starting point is 00:33:11 free which is cool and someone like tallied it all up but yeah that's nice I guess that they I mean they don't eat much so I guess that makes sense and the little one eats nothing but milk so it was good it was a good experience but it's a lot I just don't know if I can do that like every year yeah my favorite moment though was Rachel Z zegler commenting on the photo of malibu and elvis just as a snow white that literally i don't know what every time rachel zegler comments on one of your posts i get like teary-eyed and especially that one because there was like the snow white like connection i was like that is like so it's like so sweet and wholesome i can't wrap my brain around it because it's like she's like when you think about it truly truly like she's like this like
Starting point is 00:33:50 superstar right like she's like in the hunger games west side story she's like a disney princess she's like she is the snow white and that's just the most it's like for malibu meeting the characters it's like she's a character for you. Oh. She's that real princess character for you. It doesn't seem real because people comment like, go on Just Rich Girls. I don't have the courage
Starting point is 00:34:09 to ask her. Like, that's just like, to me, she's just like superstar where it would be like, I don't think I could even. But Rachel's like, if you ever see this,
Starting point is 00:34:17 I would love you on. But I can only do it on the podcast for some reason. Because I do also just want to be like, you know, it's like the Britney effect
Starting point is 00:34:22 where I'm like, maybe I just want to be their friend. Do you know what I mean? I don't need to, whatever. I just, I love her more than anything. And then when, when she saw that, and they truly do love Snow White and I've DM'd her this too because she'll like always comment like when I post something about Snow White
Starting point is 00:34:35 or something and she goes, oh, this is so cool. They love, well Malibu because Elvis just goes with the flow, but Malibu, I'm like, they both love it. Malibu loves Snow White because she loves sweeping she has a little sweeper set and she can sweep him she all the time
Starting point is 00:34:48 that is the cutest thing in the world cleaning is one of her passions she loves to clean and Snow White's always cleaning and of course she loves the dwarves which she calls Hi Ho and even in one of the clips
Starting point is 00:34:58 of us meeting the prince I think it was after Belle she's just like Hi Ho she just kept wanting to meet the dwarves because she loves them so much and I think she's going to love the live action. Like, you know, when we all talk about CGI dwarves or whatever, I think it's like also for kids.
Starting point is 00:35:10 That's true, yeah. Because she's going to live for that. She loves them so much as the animation that I think she'll love them as – and I think she would have loved them if there were dwarf actors playing them, of course. But it's like – you know, looking at the silver lining and what we're given, it's going to be – it's going to be a slide. People complain. You just love to complain. Because it's like, we're getting a live action Snow White. Like, oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Disney. Because there's been other live action Snow Whites. It's like, eh. But Rachel's Lugger is going to absolutely crush it. Yeah. I know. I get giddy too when I see that. I'm just like, it takes me a minute.
Starting point is 00:35:37 I literally will sit there for 30 minutes trying to think. I like hide in the bathroom and say I have to go to the bathroom. Because I have to think. After fully focused on what I'm going to reply. I was like, okay. I don't want to have her sound too much because before I had like a long reply. Let me just be cute and be like, we're ready. I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:50 I just – she is – yeah, she's like my modern day. She's like my Britney Spears at the moment where I'm like kind of obsessed with everything she does because she's in Romeo and Juliet on Broadway right now with Kay Conner. And I'm just like – and every time she posts her bows every night on her Instagram story and I'm just like so giddy. I was like just love her and she's a Broadway she's everything I want to be like just a beautiful soprano Broadway superstar and I just I don't know I just I get really excited it feels like because I was always in the ensemble not even that I was like background for like every me in the ensemble I was not in the ensemble I was definitely just like an orphan
Starting point is 00:36:22 that was cast in Annie But she would have been our Annie and if Annie would have talked to just a regular orphan I would have cried and it makes me it makes me feel that way. I feel like I'm being recognized
Starting point is 00:36:31 by the popular theater girl and I love Rachel and I she's the sweetest. I'm telling you when I apologized to her and gave her like my full apology
Starting point is 00:36:39 she was like instantly like I accept it like just a true Disney princess. She's like I accept it. I forgive you. It's just like so sweet. I was like God I wish I could have been that true Disney princess. She's like, I accept it. I forgive you. It's just, like, so sweet. I was like, God, I wish I could have been that at that age.
Starting point is 00:36:47 I was so nasty and so hateful and wholeheartedly for her life. So that's probably why she's thriving. We love you, Rachel Zegler. Always been Stan. You've always been Stan since day one. I believed in her. Yeah. And I did, too.
Starting point is 00:36:58 If we go back to 2015, I was an original Rachel Zegler. Yeah, you saw it. You saw it from the beginning. The first one was the Hamilton. I think I tweeted out her doing Satisfied from Hamilton. I remember being like, this girl is actually amazing.
Starting point is 00:37:09 And I guess Steven Spielberg saw it too. And it was great. It made perfect sense. And I love her. So should we get into the, what should we get into? Wait, are we done with all our intros? I think so.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Our wrap up? Okay, we have, okay, we have that. There was one more show. Yeah, I was going to say, wait, you were also. Oh, my gosh. Yes, we also were late night birds on the Saturday. We went out Saturday. We went out late.
Starting point is 00:37:34 We went out late. We did not get packed home till midnight to the canceled live show, the final show in Hollywood. It was so much fun. It was so much fun. It takes a lot to get out of the house. Honestly, if I wasn't doing like a live show, like it would have been hard for me because I'm just, in general, I get like anxious. Like I get really like bad anxiety because my biggest fear is like going on stage and just people like not knowing who I am or something. You know what I mean? Which I know kind of sounds like not logical or, or, which is
Starting point is 00:38:02 logical, is people making like fun of me or like the David Dobriks of it all, you know? Be like, oh, my God. Like, and, you know, I don't know. That's, like, just always been a fear. But it ended up being really, really fun. I was super excited to go support. Like, it's actually insane to see people, like, fans live. Do you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:38:16 Yeah. The Canceled Girls are obviously huge. Brooke and Tana. It was, like, their last stop on a 60-day tour, which is insane. Like, 60 days. Like, that's insane. It was their second night at the Dolby Theater, which, you guys don't know is where they film the Oscars every year. It's like one of the biggest theaters in Hollywood. It's right in Hollywood and Highland,
Starting point is 00:38:34 so it took us like so long to get there. But it's huge. It's humongous. There's just like rows and rows where it holds like 3,500 people. And they did two nights of that. So we went on the second night. And it was cool. It was really cool to see them. Wasn't that really good live? Like you just, I don't know, you know, you hear people go on podcasts. I think Jake Shane's on tour, Alex Cooper. So you just think like podcasts. I went to the views podcast tour and they truly just sat and talked to each other and it was so boring, but this was not their interaction, the way they played games, like the way they, they, they, I don't know, keep the show moving,
Starting point is 00:39:05 which is like actually hard to do when people are doing Q&A. It was like really amazing. I didn't think, I don't know, I guess because I just know them and I, you know, I never think of them as like performers, right? You know, or anything like that, but they were true performers. It was amazing, both Brooke and Tana. And it was so cool. It was so much fun. I was honored to be there, truly. Like they kept being like, oh my God, thank you for being here. I'm like, oh my God, thank you for having me because that was the wildest, biggest crowd ever. And there was a hidden talent category that popped up on the wheel.
Starting point is 00:39:30 And I was like, oh, man, I have no hidden talents. I have no talent, first of all. That's not true. I don't. But luckily, thank God, Tana was like, do Shallow. And I was like, OK, absolutely. I don't know if that's a hidden talent, but I was like, absolutely, I'll do this. And they performed.
Starting point is 00:39:42 And they performed. I was actually like, you know I love when people sing with me, but so many people don't because they feel embarrassed or stupid. They like full on went out for it too. I mean, Tana did make music. She actually did make like really successful music. She's a recording artist. Yeah, she kind of is too actually.
Starting point is 00:39:55 And Brooke is a performer too. She dances and stuff like that. So I don't know. I guess that makes sense. But everyone was like giving their heart and then they were all singing. It's just crazy to think of people like – like people watching. I don't know. I guess it's almost like your bank account, right? It's like there's think of people like people watching. I don't know. I guess it's almost like your bank account, right?
Starting point is 00:40:07 It's like there's – did we talk about this before? Oh, yeah, we did. Yeah, where it's like numbers. But what does that even mean? Because the day like Bank of America had a white belt, like everyone's went to zero. And it's just like, oh, at the end of the day, like it doesn't mean anything. All the numbers are just there. You don't see it.
Starting point is 00:40:18 There's no exchange. That's kind of how it feels like sometimes on social media. It's like, yeah, we know people watch. We see numbers. But it just feels like numbers as opposed to seeing people like in person. Like I was, I was like really, really nervous actually. I was like really like shy at first because I was like, oh my God, this is like crazy. Like just real human people just watch you. It's so wild. And then the fact that they come out and buy a ticket, crazy. It's the craziest thing. I think that's,
Starting point is 00:40:43 it's just really cool. I do love, as I found out this year, I really love live performance. Like I love the Ben Platt show. I love this. Like I just want to go see more live stuff. It's actually really fun. It just brings you life. Like there's just so much people like excited and happy. And for like 90 minutes, everyone's just like there in the moment and like nothing else matters.
Starting point is 00:41:02 It's very cool. My favorite was like the reaction. Like ever – because Tiana is so good about like reposting everyone oh yeah that tags and then so like all the people in the crowd like all the different angles of the crowd reactions are so like it's not like they literally it was like they won 10 million dollars when they announced your name oh my god and it was like the sweetest thing i was like that's it like yeah no it's actually and then there's no way to recreate that like the sound on the phone or that's why you love live shows because the sound you know you hear it and your body absorbs it and it's so loud that it fills your whole body so it's like even though i recorded it like trying to capture it
Starting point is 00:41:42 you can't explain the sound of 3 000 people people, you know, just jumping out of their seat and screaming. It was so much fun. I was so happy for them. Like, I can't even imagine that they've done that for 60 days. That was like 60 shows of them just selling out all these big theaters. It was really amazing. And I hope, I'm sure they're proud of themselves. I was proud.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I was like, wow, this is like crazy. Especially because I've known Tana for so long. And I'm just like like, holy – like it's the biggest theater I've seen on a YouTuber. Like I said, I went on the Views tour for like a couple stops and I don't even think they played a show that big. Maybe they could have. I just don't think they did. And it was just like really wild to see everyone just be so hyped and I was – oh, my God. I was like so cool and I was so happy for them. And, um, yeah. And she was super grateful. Like they're both like so grateful. Like they also couldn't believe it. You
Starting point is 00:42:28 know what I mean? They're very much like, I don't know. I just like people who are like humble and sweet and it was, it was cool. It was very cool. And I was happy to support them. And I was happy they asked me, honestly, like, that's really nice. And it's nice that people care. Some people had some just Trish for days, which was pretty cool. I was like, no, I was going to come. Like, that's so, that's so funny. But I loved it. I loved it. And I get really excited after my lunch. Now I want to do a tour.
Starting point is 00:42:47 I was like, oh, my God, let me go to the Harbor City. It's like it's so – it's just such a rush. Just like you said, it's like a big hug. It's like you feel loved and you feel like it's been – it's been exactly five years. That was exactly five years since my L.A. show for the Harburg tour. So it's been five years since I've like seen people and met people and it was like really cool. It was really fun. So I'm excited for the Trishmas show.
Starting point is 00:43:08 And yeah, it was a good time. That was amazing. It was a really good show. And there were so many people backstage. God, they know so many people. There was like 100 people backstage. There was so many. That was their second night.
Starting point is 00:43:20 They said the night before they had like 100 people. It was so many people. I was like, oh my God, I think my last show is gonna have like 10 people backstage. I don't know. The texts that I've received are crazy. Do you think anybody will? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:43:30 I mean. Any of the people you mentioned? There's like some celebs that have like reached out. Oh my God, that'd be crazy. I know. That is crazy. That'd be cool. Not performing, just coming.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Just there, yeah. Supporting incognito. I don't want to promise special guests because I don't know anybody like that, but if somebody wants to be a special guest. No, I don't know. I honestly, I thought of the show. I'm really excited.
Starting point is 00:43:53 I'm putting like a lot of work into it, like dancers, choreography, set design, costumes. Like I'm actually putting like a lot of work into it because I really do want to make it good. And I love performing. Like literally when they said sing shallow, I was like, okay, it's my moment, you know know i actually had such a rush i just kept going i think at a certain point they stopped i'm like no we got to go to the next part like i just i really know when you
Starting point is 00:44:12 went on and again the camera doesn't capture it but she went on and then she hid that note and the audience was just like oh moses he said he's like when you hit that note the crowd's like that's because it was a bad note that was not a note it sounded perfect he's like no it was a perfect note oh my god and that's actually where Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed Shallow at the Oscars oh my god you're so right I forgot about that it was it was cool and everyone on her team was super cool like everyone was hyping me up backstage like oh my god the crowd's gonna go so wild like everyone was hyping me up so much and I was like and then it made me nervous because i'm like what if they don't though you know what if it's just the crowd was mine yeah where it's just like you know which is
Starting point is 00:44:52 still great but but i remember we watched the opening clip and i'm in there and they're like no every time you pop up on the screen people really cheer for you so i was there at the beginning of the show and i got to like hear and then it made me feel really good so um it was really really fun i had so much So it was really, really fun. I had so much fun. It was a good time. And thank you girls for coming. And you know, they're always so sweet too because the week prior it was like beefing
Starting point is 00:45:12 with Tana and Brooke. Oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, thanks for letting us use you in the thumbnail and the clickbait. And they're like, oh, clickbait. Like they know, you know. And it's like, and you guys should know, I'll never. They're another one that does no wrong in my eyes. So I was just like, okay.
Starting point is 00:45:23 But they were cool. It was great. I loved it. And yeah, I'm kind of supportive now of these YouTubers on tour because people, people like love people, you know what I mean? Even like Jake, like all the people who just, I mean, maybe they're put on an amazing show, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:36 But like the ones I think of like Alex Cooper where they just go and talk, maybe, you know, their fans love that, just listening to them talk. So I'm always like a hater of it or whatever. Until Zayn, Keith and Alicia and Remy go on tour, then it's like, okay. No, I'll be there. I'm curious. Would you go talk. So I'm always like a hater of it or whatever until Zayn, Heath and Alicia and Remy go on tour. Then it's like, okay. No, I'll be there. I'm curious.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Would you go? Yeah, I'm 100% going if they go on tour. I'm so curious. Zayn and Heath too? But I love Alicia and Remy. No, same. If it was Alicia and Remy all day long, oh my God, that would,
Starting point is 00:45:58 girls night in three, I'd be going. I would pay so much money for that. The VIP package. Yeah. Oh, a thousand percent. The total everything. I would love if they do, I'm going to, if they go on tour, I'm going to do the VIP package. I'm going to have a meet and greet photo. I feel like you could just go if you like DM them. I'm sure they would just like let you be there. I don't know. I think so. They love, we love them. We love them. They did a Tipton Halloween costume. Did you see that? No.
Starting point is 00:46:27 The Suite Life. They were the twins. And then Remy was London. And Alicia was, it's not Sharpay. What's her name? Maddie. She was Maddie. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:38 It was cute. And they did the whole musical number. Like, when you stay at the Tipton. I do admit it. It was pretty good. But, you know. Yeah. Maybe they'll be the Tipton. I do admit it was pretty good. But, you know. Yeah, maybe they'll be the next one. I support it all.
Starting point is 00:46:50 Honestly, like, if people are happy and they're there, you know, like, that's it. And it's actually remarkable, truly. And I do think, like, Tana and Brooke, they put on, like, a show. Like, they're up. Like, they're telling stories. They're, like, walking around. They're, like, truly, like, stand-up comedians, like, on tour. Like, they're moving around.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Like I said, the only reason I keep referencing reviews is it's the only one I've been to. They would just like sit on the couch, like talk to each other for like 10 minutes and then like guests would come out. And it just was like for like a few minutes and then they'd go. It just was like the hype wasn't there. But this show like people were cheering and hyping each time. So maybe it happens all the time. But I support it.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Anyone who wants to go on tour, go on tour. Adam McIntyre's on tour your episode went up oh yeah my episode on adam's podcast i was a little shooky i think you've said this for uh before too like the fear of like someone like posting a podcast episode that you're a guest on and no one giving a f about like the views being like a thousand which was kind of what i was thinking and also he put me first so i was like extra nervous i was like oh my god you're announcing i was scared for him i was the opener i was scared for him i'm like are you sure maybe grace howell begged before me i don't know i love it that's no that's that's cool i was very honored yeah and uh again talking
Starting point is 00:48:00 about myself i'm like does anyone care but adam was they did yeah very sweet he's a great interviewer and all the comments cared they definitely cared I know I was like I waited like like five days before looking because I was scared
Starting point is 00:48:11 really and then I saw I had like a decent amount of views I was like really and then the comments were nice I was like really yeah it's really good
Starting point is 00:48:17 but yeah everyone was so sweet so check it out do you think you'll do more I love it I don't think anyone cares really but sure no I think so
Starting point is 00:48:24 I feel like yeah it's so hard to pick like ones to go on When people ask and you're just like I don't think so I feel like I'm not like in demand but if Alicia Remy and Zayna Heath 100%
Starting point is 00:48:37 I'm so curious so for like Journalistic you have to remember My roots are in journalism and I am just inquisitive and nosy by nature boots on the ground I'd probably like reverse and be asking them questions
Starting point is 00:48:50 but that's true I love going interviews like asking people questions because I get like so excited I'm so curious yeah it is can you say what you're doing
Starting point is 00:48:57 this weekend or no? I'm not gonna say I'll say who on Patreon why not because who cares but Patreon will care it's like it is a really
Starting point is 00:49:05 big deal, the interview I'm doing this week with someone whom I love. I'm so excited. I'm really cautious about it because literally it could change at any second, as we know. Because I got asked to do it. It's for my other job, to do this interview. Not because like, you know, Oscar's great. He's
Starting point is 00:49:21 amazing. He's talented, fierce, boots on the ground journalism. Like, he needs to do this. It's because no one else was around. Literally. Is that true? I'm dead. Like, you know, Oscar's great. He's amazing. He's talented, fierce, boots on the ground journalism. Like, he needs to do this. It's because no one else was around. Literally. Is that true? I'm dead. Like, they went, all our hosts are out of town. And then it was okay.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Like, who is just, like, a producer who can do, like, off camera, you know, like, Oh, you're doing off camera? Off camera. Wait, why? You always do off camera. Because, again, Oscar is not, like, the host. You've been off camera with Kim Kardashian. But this is for the show.
Starting point is 00:49:44 So, it's,'s like a little different. Like it's not like a digital shoot where it's like, you know, any quirky guy can just, you know, be on the camera. Oh, I see. It's for the broadcast, which is like a syndicated news program. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. But again, I was going to go to this event just to go. And then literally no one else could do the interview.
Starting point is 00:50:03 So like, well oscar said he's gonna be there so he can just do it but i was honored and i really need their biggest one they're gonna clip it oh my god everyone hypes it up i really need to serve because they're gonna it's like i it's someone who i just love so much and it's like a car it's a red carpet so like it's not just this one person it could could be other people. I couldn't be more jealous of anybody. I'm so jealous. I'm like, that's me, T. I'm down.
Starting point is 00:50:29 I'm like, what? If Oscar's not available, I was like, okay, I'm down. I'm next in line. Please. Didn't you say Daniel Pareto went for them one time? He did it for Access Hollywood. Oh, okay. Wow.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Access Hollywood, yeah. Oh, did he work for them? No, I did. But they had no one. They were easier for some. They really were loose over there. I was like, can I just have a random youtuber do the interview they're like sure give them 50 bucks and they'll do it i would do it for free you like legally how to give pay them like a fee of like but it was nothing it was like 50 bucks or something but yeah et's a little bit more buttoned up i guess guess. I'm so excited for you. I'm so excited.
Starting point is 00:51:05 I'm still in denial because, like I said, maybe someone will be back in town and I'll be booted off of it. But it's an honor to be considered. Considered, yeah. It sounds like you're going to do it. Even though it really wasn't considered, I was just there. Anyway, but whatever. I get thankful.
Starting point is 00:51:18 No, but half of it is just being there. You know what I mean? Right place, right time. That's what I think. What they say, like showing up is half of it. Yes. Like if you just are there. And that's why people, that's why I don't like to leave town a lot.
Starting point is 00:51:27 Cause I swear every time I leave LA, it's like, oh, we need you today for this. Always. And I'm just like, okay. Any other time I'm like here and available. That's going to be so exciting. What if they recognize you? That's what, okay. Me being delusional.
Starting point is 00:51:39 I'm like, okay, okay, okay. Maybe some, in my head somehow, like she, oh, they, whatever. She just recognizes my face, you know? It's obviously a she. It's obviously a she. Yeah. What man would I be excited for? And then I'm like, okay, then that's my in.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Because I know they're going to make me ask like the question of like, like a personal question that is like uncomfortable. But if I come across as her like, know bestie like you know it's like uh two queens maximizing their joint slate oh yeah you always come across that way that's my that's my goal so i'm hoping i'm hoping i really can bring it home you know um do you know all the people you're doing are just that certain person they haven't put the whole like guest list so i don't know there's someone else that could be there yeah that like makes sense i don't know for sure it's just like me thinking and like assuming and if that person is also there i will literally pass away i'll literally pass away but i'm so excited again it
Starting point is 00:52:35 could change the drop of a hat but if it happens that's crazy for now just the idea is like keeping me going no i think about that too with, with all the Wicked premieres. I'm like, there's six. There's a chance I go. There's a good chance, yes. Oh, I didn't get the Barbie one, so. But this is, like, a good era for you. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:52:53 That's true. I'm on the radar. I'm on the radar. Yes, you are on the radar. You're on the short list. I went to a fan screening, yeah. We'll see. We'll see if it happens.
Starting point is 00:53:00 No, it's exciting. Like you said, it's just exciting, like, the possibility. Yes. And yours is, like, basically there. Like, you're, it's exciting. Like you said, it's just exciting, like the possibility. Yes. And yours is like basically there, like you're touching it. Yeah. It's like, there's like a sheet
Starting point is 00:53:08 that has like all the information of like who's going to be like, who for the crew and like, you know, the producer and stuff and saying my name on a list. I was like, okay, like this feels real.
Starting point is 00:53:16 And I think also if I keep saying it, they'll feel bad and like won't change it as well. So maybe that's also part of it. Just be like, I'm so excited. Can't wait for Friday.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Thank you, ET. Then he comes back. He's like, actually I'm here. Well, I will literally like well so maybe that's just like i'm so excited i can't wait for friday thank you et denny comes back he's like actually i'm here well i will literally like do a tanya harding because it's someone like i don't we do a lot of interviews i just don't really like get that excited for a lot of them but this person i'm just like no this is like the one this is the or the two possibly but oh wow yeah oh Yeah. Oh, my God. Good vibes. You did text me. You're like, I feel good vibes.
Starting point is 00:53:47 And I love when you text me that because when there's two people on good – three people on good vibes, that's like so much. Maximized. Yeah, it really does feel that way. So when you text me that, I started feeling it too. I was like, yeah, me too because I was feeling it, you know, but then there's, you know, whatever. Life just happens.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Ups and downs. Yeah. Yeah. Something, you know, boring or whatever. Oh, it's a boring day. Nothing. But then when you text me, I'm like, yeah, it's all good. And it was kind of like that.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Yeah. For us, I think you text me. We were like at Disneyland and then I think we did the canceled show that night. And then I guess I was excited for today too. I was excited for our cosplay today. So I guess it has been like good momentum. Halloween is literally next week, which is insane. I did not process that at all.
Starting point is 00:54:21 Next Thursday. A week from Thursday. Oh my God. Crazy. I know. There's, and. Oh, my God. Crazy. I know. And there's so much happening this week. So are you doing any more Halloween activities? I think I maxed out our Halloween activities because ours are also like that is what it's
Starting point is 00:54:36 all about, right? Like the dress up. Yeah. The photo ops and stuff. Yeah. That is like the biggest part of it, I think. We have a big Halloween episode. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:43 So that's going to be it, I think. But going out with Halloween episode. Yeah. So that's gonna be it, I think. But going out with a bang. I love it. Yeah. Me too. And then, well, then Wicked continues in November. That's true. We're just gonna keep the party. Keep the good vibes coming. For sure. Other podcasts end in the cosplays, but we're keeping it moving. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:54:59 It's always, I mean, I love that they try, but I feel like... Us with Jurassic Park. That's what I was giving. I was feeling like everybody else would just buy something offline. Yeah, like it's cute. It's cute when people dress up. But I think when people put the effort into costumes, you know what I mean? And look, ours are not groundbreaking, but they're pretty good.
Starting point is 00:55:19 I don't know. Yeah, it's funny. Halloween is a funny time of month. I used to never dress up for the actual Halloween because I would dress up all year round where I'm just like, I want to be. Yeah. You know, but we do have some bankers. We have some group costumes here.
Starting point is 00:55:31 Me, Tana, and Holly have a group costume we're going to do the podcast with. So there's a lot to look forward to. All good stuff coming. I think these hot topics are pretty light. Yeah. Pretty fun. Did you watch SNL? Oh, yes. Did you watch the whole thing or just the clip? No, just the one pretty light. Yeah. Pretty fun. Did you watch SNL? Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:55:46 Did you watch the whole thing or just the clip? No, just the one skit. Yeah. I died. I saw Harry Daniels post it first. Yes. So I just saw his part. And I was like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:55:54 They did like this like amazing parody. Bonian. We love Bonian. We're like the big stans now. Bonian. Amazing parody of Harry Daniels. I guess they did this before where they do a parody of TikTok for you page. And honestly, they're so smart
Starting point is 00:56:08 because one, it's like so relevant. Two, obviously people are going to post it and it goes viral. It's finally something that's like relevant. I feel like SNL is like, kind of like this weird older millennial cringe a lot of the time where it's like, I don't know. But this one was so funny. And the fact that they did Harry Daniels, iconic.
Starting point is 00:56:24 It was the most iconic thing didn't we just talk about how like high of an honor it is to be parodied by SNL and like then Harry Daniels gets it and then Bowen was so good
Starting point is 00:56:32 like it literally sounded like him Bowen was spot on that was wild like period the way he did it was so good and Kamala Harris
Starting point is 00:56:41 commenting yes crazy Kamala Harris commented on like the TikTok ofok of the snl saying who is that guy which is so fierce did she say that in the original one with it like she was walking somebody in her team was like who's that guy oh yeah that does sound familiar do you think she texted that or you think one of her people
Starting point is 00:57:01 maybe kamala hq did it i don't know. Kamala HQ is a fierce gay, so I wouldn't be surprised. Oh, you think? So it's not her. Well, there's like the Kamala HQ account and that's ran by a team and I know one of them is a fierce gay, but I don't know if Kamala is.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Yeah, I wonder if she scrolls. Do you ever think about that? Like TikTok is so interesting. Do you think she just scrolls through? I have no idea. She must. Right? Because like what do people do? I honestly
Starting point is 00:57:25 when people are like I don't watch TikTok I'm like what do you do? That's all we do. We don't watch YouTube. We don't do anything else. Like we literally just watch TikTok and I'm like how do you not? Like what do you do in your downtime? It's so fun. I love the way they did it too where they like scrolled past. The Harry Daniels was so I was so proud. Me too. I was like wow. I feel like we kind of like. I mean he was a star before
Starting point is 00:57:42 but I feel like also we kind of like discovered him. You know what I mean? Because he hasn't been like on a podcast since I was next thing. Had him on, which we love. Harry Daniels, get your bag. You know what I mean? He was like eating Smart Pop popcorn on it or Skinny Pop or something. And I was like, okay, Icon. But I feel like we were the first ones to have him on like the podcast.
Starting point is 00:57:56 I know he wants to go and talk to her, but it's like, why? You've already been on Just Trish, you know? You peaked, yeah. But that was cool. I think after that – I was so proud of Harry. He's got a new single out. So everyone check out Harry Daniels. Was it on him or something? Yeah. Love it. I was so proud of Harry. He's got a new single out. So everyone check out Harry Daniels.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Was it on him or something? Yeah. Love it. And it's actually really good. People don't know that Harry is actually a really, really talented singer. Yeah. He does his little bit to sing to celebrities. And I'm very protective over him too because he's genuinely like so.
Starting point is 00:58:17 Very nice. Sweet and nice and like wholesome. And I feel like people like assume he's like some menace troll or something. But like all his biggest like bits are like set up. He works with people's like publicists and social media teams and management. Like he's not just like harassing people on the street. And I don't think people get that bit, you know. People think he's just like annoying.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Yeah, and now people contact him to have him say to them for publicity. It's so funny because I do think he said the only one he didn't want to harass was Billie Heilish, right? Yeah. And then ironically, that's so funny because I do think he said the only one he didn't want to harass was Billie Eilish, right? Yeah. And then ironically, that's the one Bowen, yay, yay thing too.
Starting point is 00:58:49 I was like, that's so good because I love her too much. I don't want to, I asked if I could sing to her or something, she said no or something like that
Starting point is 00:58:54 and he's like, she's the only one I don't want to bother and then ended up being the skit. That would just be such a weird feeling like you're period on SNL and he was like
Starting point is 00:59:02 one of the only ones that said like his name, Harry Daniels, because like Trad Wife was Trad Wife. It wasn really nara smith but like it was obvious yeah i think the weatherman had his real name nick koser i think that was his real name um keith lee of course had his real name but it how like that's so cool and he got a good parody i feel like so many times like when they funny and they came back to it too like yeah it's like three times because everyone in the comments like but this is actually my FYP. And it's like so true.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Like you just see it all over. It was good. That was a good one, SNL. You did it on that one. Yeah, I did with that one. You ate. Although I was surprised. Like a lot of there was comments last time we talked about Bowen Yang.
Starting point is 00:59:37 How they got, they didn't know who Bowen Yang was. I was like, Bowen Yang is. Not Mudang. Not Mudang. Why do people think it was the same person? I have no idea. Well, I guess Bowen Yang is... Not Mu Dang. Why do people think it was the same person? I have no idea. Well, I guess Bowen Yang was Mu Dang. Yeah, I mean, he did play Mu Dang. No, but I think it's just name. Maybe
Starting point is 00:59:51 people recognize him, but don't know his name. Yeah, T. Oh, right, right. Okay, well, he's iconic and he's in Wicked, so get to know it. And he's one of the best parts about Wicked. And SNL, truly. Yeah, he is so funny. I feel like he's going to leave soon because I feel like whenever they get, like, too popular. Oh, look at Andy Samberg.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Like, he left and then did his own show, you know? Oh, yeah, for sure. He'll have that, for sure. They just interviewed Mariah Carey. He is, like, wild. I feel like Bowen's going to have his, like, own show, like, an English teacher, Abbott Elementary moment. Oh, yeah. Oh, English teacher is so good.
Starting point is 01:00:23 He was in Jane the Virgin. Wait, Brian Jordan Alvarez was in Jane the Virgin. Wait, Brian Jordan Alvarez was in Jane the Virgin? Yes, he was in season two. And his character was awful in season two. And Moses, because someone was like,
Starting point is 01:00:32 oh, he was in Jane the Virgin. And I was like, wait, what? And then I didn't recognize him. And he recognized him right away. So then I started watching English Teacher. Also, Jordan Firstman is in it, which is the guy
Starting point is 01:00:40 who interviewed me. He's like an icon. He interviewed me for Polyester. Was it Polyester? Yeah, Polyester. His name's like on my cover with me like interviewed by george he's the one that knows everyone like robert pattinson like he's so connected in this world and he's on it i was like okay so i like posted him i didn't watch i didn't see his i just reposted it i don't know what like character he is but he's he's somebody on the show wow yeah he's he's like he's connected in that
Starting point is 01:01:02 world and i it's actually good i didn't't get so far into it, but I would. Yeah, English Teacher, also another good show. It's like – it got a lot of comparisons to like Abbott Elementary, I think, just because it's like a comedy in a school. But it – and it has like the exchanges with like students, but it's like takes place in a high school. So like the conversations with the students are just like a little bit more mature, I guess. And like – but it's written really well. It's only eight episodes, this first season. But it's, like, so funny.
Starting point is 01:01:28 It's on – it airs on FX, but it's on Hulu. So if you guys are in need of a little comedy, a little laugh, it is genuinely so good. I could see it, like, next year, like, in contention for, like, Emmys because it's actually that good. Oh, is it too late to get nominated or something? It just – yeah, I think because it just finished airing last week, so it's, like, still really new. Oh, I see. But, like, it's written so well. Like, all the actors are so good in it.
Starting point is 01:01:52 Yeah, it was actually kind of a slay. I love it. Yeah. And I could see you in season two. Really good. Anything. I want to be on it. I would.
Starting point is 01:01:57 No, that one, because I do know, like, the people. Not, I don't know them. Well, I do know Jordan. But that one, I felt, like, one degree separation, because I just know him, like, so well. And I was just like, oh, my God, that was, like, so cool. So do you feel like maybe that one? I'd one degree separation because i just know him like so well and i was like oh my god that was like so cool so do you feel like maybe that one um i'd love to be on it we could be on it we could be teachers you look like a gym teacher today you could be a gym teacher with your short shorts that'd be fun it's so cool it's just so cool when people get their shows made you're just like good for them yeah and i didn't know
Starting point is 01:02:19 signing it back to snl brian jordan alvarez was in the running i guess to be on snl he was like the second runner-up to be in the cast. I wonder what happened. I guess it's just maybe they're limited on the gay roles on SNL. I don't know. Wait, really? That's just me speculating. Just one gay for a season?
Starting point is 01:02:35 We have one gay opening. Who can get it? Bowen, I guess. I mean, this might sound so dumb. Has there been a gay person on before Bowen? I wish there must have. I'm not good on a gay person on before Bowen? There must have. I'm not good on, like, SNL history, but I feel like there must have, right? I feel like I'm so good on SNL history, and I cannot think of one gay person on there.
Starting point is 01:02:52 I don't know. No. Now I'm curious. That's so weird. That'd be so weird, because he's a relatively new cast member. Yeah, they had a lot of, like, lesbians. They've had lesbians before, non-binary. But I don't know if they've had, like, if they've had a gay man before. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Bowen. I think Bowen was the first. Wow. Maybe like openly. Yeah, openly at least. Yeah, but I mean most, yeah. How interesting. He was on the Out 100. We could have like seven people on the Out 100. Did you see
Starting point is 01:03:22 the list? Wait, on the what? Out 100. Oh, the Out 100. Did you see the list? Wait, on the what? Out 100. It was like the- Oh, the Out 100. Yeah. What do you think I said? I thought you were going- For some reason, my brain went to-
Starting point is 01:03:30 Oh, Hot 100. Like sexiest man alive or something. I was like, wow. Oh, did they adopt that on November 1st? No, it's November. I think around election time, weirdly. Two really important elections. Sexiest man and president.
Starting point is 01:03:42 The president. Yeah. That's wild. Oh my God. sexiest man and president yeah that's wild oh my god I we have have
Starting point is 01:03:48 have have to get into this I know we talked a lot about live shows and concerts but the biggest live show debacle of all
Starting point is 01:03:55 this past few days was Britney Broski at the sweat tour do we not talk about this no because it happened after yeah
Starting point is 01:04:02 which I have a gag. Okay. So. I know your gag. How do you know? I know the gag because Moses told me the gag. He's like, wait.
Starting point is 01:04:10 We have spies everywhere. How does Oscar know this and no one else? Like, what? Yes. Okay. Tell us. Oh, my God. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:16 So. Yeah. Let's tell the whole thing. So if you guys don't know, the gag at the Sweat Tour is Charlie XX performs Apple and they always like pan to this like they i think they pick them in advance i think because we saw it with like kelly hair in new york who's a tiktoker who invented the apple dance like she was picked to perform it as um and show up on the screen as charlie sang um and that was like the first apple dance debacle
Starting point is 01:04:41 when she got crashed by another girl. Yeah. So this time in LA, the people performing it, performing the Apple Dance in the group was Brittany Broski. And first of all, before I get into the tea, I'm very confused on if Brittany Broski was cosplaying or if she was trying to be incognito. I'm still confused about it. Who was she when she cosplayed? No, but definitely not incognito. Her face was... Ow. But I kind of think...
Starting point is 01:05:09 Am I cool with she be cosplay? I was like, maybe the black hair. She was wearing a black hair wig. I don't know if she was channeling CharlieXCX with black hair or if she was trying to be like a little bit more low-key. Right, like covering the blonde hair. Yeah, because she is like iconic as a blonde. I don't think she's ever...
Starting point is 01:05:24 Like, I went through her Instagram, like how she wore this look before and she hasn't, least recently i don't know about there's laura i'm missing but i'm like i'm still confused if she's incognito or i put on a black wig i'd be like less noticeable yeah so yeah because i feel like people would question is that britney broski or you know what i mean like you saw her face i guess i don't think she was cosplaying though because i feel like it wasn't like an obvious like cosplay yeah i don't know she was in costume like i felt like she was doing because i mean when i saw the screen the first thing i saw was her face clear as day that they just i think she was like the center they pick them ahead of time so i'm sure they're like this is a big influencer yeah so i'm sure she was the center yeah of it
Starting point is 01:06:01 um because i don't because chapel was also. And like she was very incognito. Like she was very low key. I think she had like a wig and like a hoodie on. So that's obviously like incognito. But Britney I was confused about. But anyway. She was performing the Apple Dance. And she got.
Starting point is 01:06:18 Her performance got hijacked. By someone who stormed the camera. Pushed her out of the frame. And at one angle she completely disappeared. Like no you couldn even see where britney went crazy that's what we said it was so wild it's i was like what happened because like you know it's not just you you're kind of like whoa you're still kind of in there in there yeah but did you see another angle where you could see yeah i saw multiple it was multiple. It was like the JFK assassination. I went through to find as many angles as I could
Starting point is 01:06:48 because I was like, I was so confused. So there was, I saw like an aerial. I saw like a wide. I saw the close up. So in a wide angle, there is a,
Starting point is 01:06:58 you see Britney get pushed to the back, but she's still like, she doesn't look annoyed or anything. Like she's still kind of like dancing and going with it. So I do think maybe the shot looked more intense in the close-up angle. But I will say, I saw, I think one of the CharlieXCX update accounts posted it. It only had maybe 500 likes.
Starting point is 01:07:15 And I clicked play. And I was like, oh, Brittany Broski. And then the guy that pushed her comes up. And I was like, I know this guy. Oh, my God. Is that the scariest feeling i was like oh my god oh my god oscar did you know before he'd been out there are you like oh i know this person right away when i had 500 views yes literally and i literally sent it to everyone i used to work
Starting point is 01:07:36 with him on et i'm he went private so i'm not gonna say his name i guess because i don't know i don't know if he's trying to keep it low-key. Even though people already found out his name, where he works now and everything, which is unfortunate. But anyway, I used to work at the E.T. in 2019, so I sent it to everyone. I was like, did you guys see this? I literally sent it. Everyone I ever worked with at the time and everyone was – Some people didn't know because it was so fresh.
Starting point is 01:08:03 It didn't have – it wasn't viral yet. So some people didn't take in like the cultural impact. I'm like, this is going to be something. I just, I just knew it. I just knew it. Um, so some people didn't really care that much, but then the next day it went like completely viral, like I tweeted it. I think the original video had like 18 million views. All of gay Twitter had like a hot take on it. You know what I mean? It was a hot take on it you know what i mean it was what was the hot take on it everyone it was kind of split some people were like well uh britney's like a new charlie fan so it doesn't even matter like he out served her and then a lot of other people and then a lot of other people were like uh it's of course it's like a gay guy like shoving a girl
Starting point is 01:08:41 like that's so misogynistic and then there was another side that was like he's too old to be at the sweat tour like he's great I know it was a lot there was a lot of conversation going on it was crazy
Starting point is 01:08:51 it was kind of insane oh gosh and then I did see I have a friend who's like works like more closely with him now because he doesn't
Starting point is 01:09:00 we don't work together anymore so I like asked him to reach out for a statement I haven't heard back yet because I really wanted an exclusive statement. Oh, has he not given a statement at all? No, but on his Instagram story before it went viral, I did see, like, this is the background information context as to what was going in his head. Yeah, this is exclusive tea.
Starting point is 01:09:17 So he posted, like, an angle from, like, up high. I guess someone recorded him, like, running in. So you really see him bolting. Like as soon as the camera is like on the screen and stuff. And he like bolted there and he was like, look, we did it. We accomplished the goal.
Starting point is 01:09:33 Like I was heartbroken at the store. This was my one goal. Like I got, uh, made it on screen for the Apple dance. So I guess he went into this, like, like this was his redemption from like heartbreak and stuff.
Starting point is 01:09:45 So I am sympathetic in that sense, I guess. So it wasn't to knock Brittany out. No. I thought that's what it was. I thought. It's not a football game. Well, that's better then. Like, touchdown.
Starting point is 01:09:59 Because in my head, I'm thinking about, like, I would get knocked out by someone who doesn't like me. Like, this is my moment. Oh, but that's so much better then. It is better. Yeah, I wish she would go out, like, I would get knocked out by someone who doesn't like me. Like, this is my moment. Oh, but that's so much better then. It is better. Yeah, I wish she would go out, like, on the record. She just happened to be in the middle. He wouldn't be in the middle of it. I do think if it was me, I would have been knocked too.
Starting point is 01:10:14 Like, I don't think it was specifically because it was a woman or specifically because it was Britney. I think anyone who stood in his way to get on screen for the Apple Dance would have been pushed because he just had a goal. Granted stuff. I don't know what goes on in the sweat tour. People get like a little too like main character mode. Like no one else matters. I think that's where things go awry. I'm going to put a little bit blame on the sweat tour.
Starting point is 01:10:37 And let's say, let's not do this anymore. Let's not spotlight people because you don't see the Brita Carpenter spotlighting people. No one's getting knocked over at her concerts. I think because she does spotlight, but it it's like it's random and it's really quick yeah this one i know how it goes i've seen it happen at like different concerts before like they put like they set it up right they know this the apple songs they put lights on or they
Starting point is 01:10:56 put lights on like it's clearly lit for these people so people are seeing where it's happening so it's giving people like quickness like you said if it's not like the kiss cam where it like happens so quick and you just kiss or whatever but it's like this is like they set it up it's giving people like quickness. Like you said, it's not like the kiss cam where it like happens so quick and then you just kiss or whatever. But it's like this is like they set it up. It's getting prepared. It's getting whatever. There's pre-production. Yeah. So maybe stop doing that because it just – I mean it just keeps being a mess.
Starting point is 01:11:12 And it's just – you know, it's just like – yeah. And it's just sad. It's sad for everyone involved because obviously like God, I mean if that was me – like, you know, I mean I think she's – Brittany I think did say oh well or something was her statement. She put – she's like oh well. So I think she doesn't care, which is good. And I feel like she is that person who doesn't care. If it was me, I would, I would, well, I would talk about it a lot. I'm sorry she hasn't talked about it more.
Starting point is 01:11:32 I would be doing TikTok. We would have to go, like, live. Oh, yeah, like, as it happens. I would be saying every detail account. But I'd also be so embarrassed. That's why I would have to. But it's not her fault. But I am saying me.
Starting point is 01:11:44 I would be so embarrassed. Like, if someone knocked me out you know what i mean i just think oh my god because because the people who dislike me like you said there's that those little percentage of people it's like well she's annoying anyway she's not this is knock her down right so if it's me and that's my meme forever although she's a meme queen so maybe you know yeah it's gonna be a new meme for sure it is iconic which is it is i think god it is so hard to like say it when you're in the moment because like in the moment i'd probably be like oh my god that's like so embarrassing but when you look back at things and you're like okay that was like an iconic part of history or whatever you know what
Starting point is 01:12:12 i mean it's like a meme i think that's her thing is like being a meme i love being a meme so god i'm jealous i wish i was knocked over more people would be talking about me 18 million views it was crazy crazy for the guy um i think he had a tough time with it like he commented charlie oh charlie that was the other thing charlie xcx actually posted the video like on her she did like a sweat la sweat to our la photo dump and like posted the video of britney getting pushed and then tagged britney um and then he commented on it it was like at britney broski like sorry i got really swept away i hope we can work it out in the remix and then yeah everyone found him found out where he remix and then yeah everyone found him
Starting point is 01:12:45 found out where he works and then he had to go private turned off his comments and then a lot of people are like turning his face into a meme because he like
Starting point is 01:12:53 kind of he gets really into it after he shoves Brittany and he's like the face is AI it's like yeah the face is like because he also takes
Starting point is 01:13:00 dance classes and stuff like he loves to dance I guess so he gets really into it and like his face also became, like, a meme. But honestly, he was like, I'm like. But wasn't that the goal? Like, what did he think was going to happen?
Starting point is 01:13:12 Like, he went there to put his face as close as possible to the camera. He really did, like, lean into it. He leaned into eye contact, like, staring down the barrel of the camera. The quote, Cynthia Erivo. As you should do. As you should, yeah. That's how you communicate. I agree.
Starting point is 01:13:26 Honestly, T, if you're going to go for it and be that obnoxious own it and show it i'm talking about this guy and this thing so i my friend told them like my friend uh fry like where it still works with them was like you need to make this photo like your twitter icon your instagram icon you should just own it he was jealous that uh he wasn't the one to push britney bros because he was also there he was like if that was me that push britney bros game went viral like i would be making tiktoks i would be like yes it was mean i'd do it again i was like okay calm down that's a little much but i get it i get that logic it's like one of those things with the kind i wish that was me you know what i mean you just have to own it as somebody and she didn't get really
Starting point is 01:14:02 knocked because it just looks like he like pummeled her to the ground or something but if she's like still standing dancing and she's fine. Yeah. At least she didn't fall to the floor or something you know because then
Starting point is 01:14:10 that was like full on assault I think but poor Brittany she did handle it like a champ. Yeah that's why she hasn't talked about it because I feel like she has so many like
Starting point is 01:14:16 platforms that she could be talking about I wouldn't be talking about it. I was like refreshing I was like when is she going to like comment on it because it just went so viral.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Everyone else is talking about it so for her the best thing to do is let it. She's a podcaster that's when you have to like comment on it? Cause it just went so viral. Everyone else is talking about it. So for her, the best thing to do is let it. She's a podcast. That's when you had to cash in on it. If something like that happened to us, thumbnail that day,
Starting point is 01:14:31 that night, I come at home, I'll say Oscar gate right now. We're doing a podcast. You know what I mean? Like there's emergency episode, like in the wings. So I hope she does come back like that.
Starting point is 01:14:45 It is iconic. As long as she didn't get hurt, I feel like it's iconic and hopefully she knows that. She's a good sport, yeah. I feel like he could take the embarrassment or whatever and be like, you know, own it or whatever. Not that it shouldn't be embarrassing for her. Yeah, it's more embarrassing on him, if anything. Definitely embarrassing on him, definitely. But at the same
Starting point is 01:15:01 time, you know, you're just like, alright, queen. He had a goal. He accomplished a goal at least at what cost i guess but i mean but those people are annoying the ones that do ruin the apple dance for me you're kind of annoying but i saw in san diego again i don't know if this was every tour but at san diego like they had more security around the apple dancers and then there was like a twitter influencer or in twitch streamer shout out ducky who i guess allegedly because i it was an angle from far away and someone just said it was Ducky, but like tried to get in on the Apple dance and security like told her no. They need to. They can pay some money to get that safe forever because it just sounds like a show.
Starting point is 01:15:38 Like why? Did you go? No, I really, really wanted to. Oh, did you miss it or is it still happening? No, it was in a, I think it's still happening, but it was in LA two days last week and it was in San Diego. Wicked cut down. And then it was in San Diego over the weekend, I believe.
Starting point is 01:15:55 You didn't go? Why didn't you go? It was just a lot. Last week was just a lot going on. And then I was like, oh my God, again, if it was Thousand Oaks, it would be there. But the drive, yeah. It's tough. And even the Forum.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Driving to the Forum. You always go to those shows, though. The only one I went to was Olivia. And that was like, you know, I had to make the pilgrimage. But like for us, that's far. Harry was when I was younger. I was, it was like. Oh, you didn't go to his latest one?
Starting point is 01:16:17 No, it was his first one. So that was like 2017, 18, I want to say. So I was more into it. Yeah. This time. Sabrina, where? She's at the crypto arena I think so still a long way but it's better when you have when you buy the tickets months in advance and you're like mentally prepared yeah you're excited yeah yeah and but if it's like a ticket you buy the day uh for me it's just like a lot to like, you know. Last minute go. Be blue to my ground. Yeah. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 01:16:45 But I lived vicariously through this, honestly. It is crazy. I know. That was everywhere. That's why I thought we talked about it because I was kind of just heard so many different angles and stories on it. And it's actually wild. No, the people who interrupt, you're annoying as hell.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Stop doing it. The main character energy is kind of epidemic. You're not the main character. It's an epidemic. Why? Why is it? I don't know. It's like everyone needs to calm down.
Starting point is 01:17:06 I like being a supporting character. There's nothing wrong with being a supporting character. No. In your own life. In your own life, yes. Be your own main character. But when it comes to the world, there's nothing wrong with being a supporting. We're all supporting characters.
Starting point is 01:17:19 Ariana's a supporting character in Wicked, technically. Yeah, exactly. And she has so much screen time. Yes. So there's nothing wrong with being supporting. Be that. Be the supporting it's so true though the main character energy is out of control yeah hmm yeah you just gotta accept it unless you are a main character like myself but if you're not then like a you or britney yes accept your main character energy oh right yeah britney yeah she was the main character energy book. Right, yeah. Brittany, yeah, she was the main character. He tried to be. You got it for your 15 minutes.
Starting point is 01:17:48 Maybe it'll last longer, though. People do become memes and last forever. Look at Brittany and Hotchua. It is crazy. Maybe Hotchua will go down the same path as Brittany and be super successful, and we all just don't know it yet. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:18:00 I mean, it's really going. Hotchua, when we first talked about it, thought it wouldn't last more than that week. But here we are. She's going. Amazing. Yes. We love that for her.
Starting point is 01:18:11 That's your next podcast. You do the Talk Tua. Harry Daniels will be screaming. Punching in there right now. Screaming. Yeah. Exclusive Hawk Tua interview. That would be something.
Starting point is 01:18:21 Yeah. Fascinated by her. Love her. The Apple Dance. Yeah, they need to stop that for sure but we we love who was it the was it vinnie hacker was he the oh yeah one of your girls he went up to vinnie hacker do they pick those out of the crowd or is that like he comes out from backstage i think he was like a special guest i want to say like so they made a bigger deal about that i haven't i don't know if he does if troy does like a special guest i want to say like so they made a bigger deal about that i haven't i don't know if he does if troy does like a regular person for the other dates
Starting point is 01:18:50 like just like a regular guy like almost like the justin bieber one less lonely girl vibes but totally different but yeah he's like lap dancing yeah i like it though it's good i love it i wish you would pick a girl people were mean about Vinnie Hacker I was like oh he's not into it he's obviously not bi oh really but I'm like to me Vinnie Hacker was giving
Starting point is 01:19:09 like he gave like the ups and the ups and downs yeah I thought they looked great that's cop people again I know always something to play about he had a tweet he was like
Starting point is 01:19:16 I know it wasn't the special guest Vinnie tweeted I know this wasn't the special guest you guys wanted because I think people thought like Ariana or Billie Eilish or something
Starting point is 01:19:23 but I would have been thrilled to see Vinnie hacker yeah same i think anybody's good but i know that energy that's kind of exactly how i felt like cancel you know what i mean because i think and i know look i know i go on canceled and it's not brianna chicken fry i wasn't worried about that i was thinking more like a staple. I guess he doesn't go on canceled. I guess I am the staple canceled guest. But I don't know.
Starting point is 01:19:49 You just never know. Like, you know, oh, we were expecting – I don't know. You know, there's more. But, yeah, I could see that. Yeah, I think he's a – I don't know. I don't, like, know him like that. But I thought he looked good doing it. Yeah, he looked really good. I mean, that really is all that matters.
Starting point is 01:20:02 He was hot. Troy was into it. I love that. It looked like he was giving. I love Troy Saban so much. He's so cool. We need him on the podcast but he's on tour. Who opens for who? They go on kind of, I think Troy technically goes on first. Oh.
Starting point is 01:20:17 But then they do songs together. Oh, okay, cute. Yeah, it's kind of intermixed. It's a joint headline tour. Yeah, I feel like Christina and Justin I think did that one here. Oh, yeah. Where they kind of like intermixed. Like it's a joint headline tour. Yeah, I feel like that – like Christina and Justin I think did that one year. Oh, yeah. Where they kind of switched. Addison Rae has a new song coming out Friday. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 01:20:31 Aquamarine. Which – roll back the tapes. I've been saying that my third baby would 100% be Aquamarine. Oh, yeah. That's true. I've said this over and over. And look, I'm not saying she stole it. Obviously.
Starting point is 01:20:41 It's a movie. But I was so wild because I was like, oh, my God. Because I've always wanted Aquamarine if there was like a third baby. I was like, oh, my God. That's it because it's like water. It's a movie but i was so wild because i was like oh my god because i've always wanted aquamarine if there was like a third baby i was like oh my god that's that's it because it's like water it's a movie poster we love it but it was kind of crazy that was hers i was like wow she really she really is on that it girl status we love as she looks so good what was the event everyone is at this weekend oh there was the academy museum gala yeah what is that i want to go it's new this was only the fourth one. It's at the Academy Museum. It's like hosted by the Academy that like does the Oscars, obviously.
Starting point is 01:21:10 So it's a lot of like the critically acclaimed like actors. Like it's like Selena Gomez, Ariana Cynthia. A lot of people who are like going to do the campaign for awards season. Yeah. Then what is it? What do they do when they get inside? It's basically like they're trying to make it the new – like a version of the Met Gala basically. So they're working their way there.
Starting point is 01:21:29 Is this the first year? This is the fourth. I think the one that kind of put it on the map was – do you remember when like Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber met and had a photo together? Oh, yeah. That was it. That was at the Academy Museum Gala. So that was like I think the first – I think that was year two. And it kind of put it on the map. But yeah, they're making a bigger event, which is good.
Starting point is 01:21:47 I think the ticket to making it like an event, like a Met Gala is the theme though. Like people love a theme. Like let us get into it. And I think if they, especially the Academy Museum, like you could make it a, like it could be Wicked themed. Do you know what I mean? That's what I thought it was. I thought because like everyone was saying Ariana looked like Audrey Hepburn.
Starting point is 01:22:03 Yeah. I thought it was like, and someone else was like, Alison Rae was like old school. I thought it was like an old school Hollywood theme was saying Ariana looked like Audrey Hepburn. Yeah. I thought it was. And someone else was like Alison Rae was like old school. I thought it was like an old school Hollywood theme. I think. Or is that how people dressed? I think that's how people channeled it. But they should make it official. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:10 Like they should maybe make like. Old Hollywood. Or like a director. Like if they pick the famous director and then you get to like channel those looks or something. That'd be crazy. I feel like they need to make it more camp. That's the secret.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Who runs it? Like. I don't know. Whoever is in the Academy I guess. It's not like Anna Wintour with Met Gala. No. Like there's no leader. I don't know. Whoever is in the Academy, I guess. It's not like Anna Wintour with Met Gala. No. Like there's no leader. I don't know who like the actual leader of the Academy is or the director, I guess.
Starting point is 01:22:30 It looked fun. I wish I was there too. I know. That one did look cool. Yeah. Everyone's like looks looked good. Everyone was getting interviewed. Whoever was that interviewer was asking all the hard questions to everybody.
Starting point is 01:22:39 Mark Malkin. Shout out Mark Malkin. My God. He's just going in for everybody. Everyone was stunned. He does not – like he goes for the question everyone wants to know. Like you know him? He's been around for a long time.
Starting point is 01:22:49 He used to do E! like live on the red carpet I believe back in the day. Now he's like one of the main interviewers at Variety. He's at like every red carpet. And like Variety is such a staple that like they get all the – like Ariana Grande would have stuff for every outlet, but for Variety. She's like, we gotta talk to you. Kim Kardashian. Yes, because they're very esteemed.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Like, they're kind of like prestige, I guess, because it's like prints. The biggest. But it's also, it's called like a trade because it's like the print and website. And they do like the actors on actors and stuff, you know? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's the one Shane and Jenna were on the cover of. Variety. I think so, yeah. That's wild. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's amazing. That's crazy. I yeah and that's the one shane and jenna were on the cover of variety i think so yeah yeah yeah that's amazing that's crazy i mean that's cool but that's wild
Starting point is 01:23:30 that's so weird when you think about that i know like what because that was a real it wasn't like a e uh digital issue it was like on the cover this is the trade yeah because i think when i first moved here i want to say there was like castings in variety. Like you could find out about like open calls and stuff on there. Oh, that makes sense because it is very industry. Like it's very like Hollywood. I remember buying it a lot and like looking for – I think even like the LA Times used to post like open calls and auditions and stuff like that. That's crazy. Now I guess there's just websites. So yeah. Everywhere TikTok. I see casting directors on TikTok like, oh, are you and your friends like the next Mormon wives? Like it's always – and maybe they're legit obviously the mormon wives got
Starting point is 01:24:08 their show so i'm sure that's how they got contacted and like i know for the bachelor like my friend got dm'd by like a bachelor or bachelorette i guess um casting director and he was like well i'm gay so oh yeah because he's like they never had gay bachelor no and i think it was like for guys for like a bachelorette you know what I mean so so funny
Starting point is 01:24:27 they contacted me since I've been married really yeah like I think they don't know I feel like they're just contacting everybody what about your mom
Starting point is 01:24:33 for freaking golden bachelor or something like hello casting agents they're doing it again and we're watching golden bachelor right now
Starting point is 01:24:41 and they're casting again for the next season so now they need females for the guy that's gonna be the bachelor I want Charles to be the next bachelor. So now they need females for the guy that's going to be the bachelor. I want Charles to be the next bachelor. And I submit my mom every season.
Starting point is 01:24:49 Nothing. I don't know how. She's been on TV shows. She's, like, so great and wonderful. Well, anyways, Golden Bachelorette, she would love to be on. And they shoot it two minutes from my house. Oh, yeah, that's true. Yeah, they all stay in the hotel, like, two minutes from us. It's, like, actually crazy.
Starting point is 01:25:02 We always see it at the credits, too. We're like, oh, my God, that's our town. Thousand Oaks. That's not our town, but close enough. Yeah, that'd be. Yeah, they've emailed me before. Sometimes I'm like, sometimes I get emails. It's so funny.
Starting point is 01:25:17 I guess I can say the story. It's not bad. Anyways, I got invited to go to like, we were in Disneyland, so we couldn't do it. But I got invited to go like, kind of like close to carpet. But it was like, it's like a smaller one, but it was still cool, and it was, like, a paid job, which I was, like, oh, my God, and it was paid really well. I was, like, super excited, but I was, like, oh, we were literally at Disneyland that day, and we weren't coming back that night, so I was, like, oh, man, I can't do it, but it's so funny because, you know, they
Starting point is 01:25:37 send out, like, the bachelor, they have, like, an email where they list everything, tell you how much, what the rate is, like, what you're expected to do, all this stuff like that, and it says, like, hi, Trisha's team or whatever at the beginning. But because I think they forget to like replace the names in the emails, you can see like who it was meant for or who they like at least sent it out originally to. So I think it was probably Brittany Broski because I kept getting Brittany, Brittany, Brittany. That's so funny.
Starting point is 01:25:58 And I was like, and I literally wrote back and I was like, oh my God, I would love to. I was like, I don't know if this was for Brittany or me, but I would love to if you consider me. I also didn't hear back from him, so maybe it was for Brittany. But they did change at least the title to Trisha's team or something like that. And I was like, oh my God, I would love to. I was like, I don't know if this was for Brittany or me, but I would love to if you consider me. I also didn't hear back from him, so maybe it was for Brittany. But they did change at least the title to Trisha's Team or something like that. And I was like, that's so funny. But I'll take her leftovers. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:26:11 If Brittany Bro's going to have it, well, I'll do it. It was funny, though. I was like, God, you have to really. Because I've done that, too, where I send out mass ones for guests or whatever. You have a template or whatever. But you have to really make sure you switch the names. Because otherwise, to me, for me personally, if someone doesn't take the care to like change the name it's not a big deal but on mass i'm like okay well you're just you know yeah mass emailing and even if that's what
Starting point is 01:26:30 you're doing you don't want that person to feel that way and it's happened before and i was like oh this is actually not my name like oh no we meant for you we just i was like yeah well change the name next time but i thought it was interesting but i'll do it all day long i was just like i just want to make sure it was for me but maybe it wasn't because they didn't write back i was like is this britney or Trisha? Brittany Borowski was too. She's probably too big now. That's the thing. When you get to be these big memes, you just get more and more famous.
Starting point is 01:26:51 Very jealous. Kind of like Amelia de Moldenberg tease because I don't know how she can ever go back to just like I don't know. I mean, I guess the carpet she does do are like the Oscars. So that kind of makes sense. But she's getting so big that like at some point, will she stop doing like red carpet, like doing the interviews at red carpets and just like attending?
Starting point is 01:27:11 I don't know. You know? But I feel like the red carpet interviews are the favorite. Like if I got the chance to attend or do red carpet interviews, 100% rather do red carpet interviews because you're good to talk to the celebrities. Yeah. Whereas opposed to like – I just found this out recently. When influencers are invited to an event that's like
Starting point is 01:27:25 big mainstream like that, is there's like an influencer carpet. Yeah. Did you know that? I didn't know. So there's like an influencer carpet for like
Starting point is 01:27:31 the first hour and a half and then they close the carpet for influencers to have like the talent come on. So I always just think of it as everyone's together on the red carpet
Starting point is 01:27:37 and you're just like, oh my God, it's Jonathan Bailey, like hi. But it's like, no, they like close off for influence,
Starting point is 01:27:41 which makes sense. I mean, honestly, whatever, I would be there. I think you had told me because when we thought it was going to be red carpet for Beetlejuice, we would get there early. And I was like, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:27:48 And we did. We got there, like, half hour early. No red carpet. But that's fine. Next one, we will be there early, right in line. We'll be there in the end. Yeah, because I think – you know what? Weirdly enough, I think it was Brittany Broski talking about this.
Starting point is 01:27:58 The Joker premiere. Did you hear her talking about this one? She said that, like, literally – I think it was on her podcast she was talking about it. The photographer literally took one picture and was like, keep moving, which is crazy. Of her? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:11 And she said, she's like, no, of course I get it. We're influencers, whatever. They want to take pictures of the star. But she's like, literally, it was like you say, because you say your name. The one time I got an image,
Starting point is 01:28:18 it's not called getting images anymore, but damn, I didn't get an image one time. They have you say your name in the camera or whatever. They ask my name. They take one picture and then they tell you to like keep moving. But it's maybe because she got there like late.
Starting point is 01:28:28 Maybe it was like the bigger – the big celebrities coming on or something. Like Gaga or something. Yeah. But I did think that was interesting. I was like, yeah, because she is – I mean she's one of the biggest influencers. So it was interesting. She was like, oh, they took literally one photo. Basically she was just like the guy didn't want to take a picture and just had people move along.
Starting point is 01:28:42 Which I mean I guess is to be expected when you go to like events. I guess so. I guess so. I guess so, yeah. I mean to me like Britney is one I was like, oh, like – Yeah. You know, but – One of the biggest. She's on all the carpets and I'm pretty sure she – I don't know.
Starting point is 01:28:55 I would assume she gets paid for it because usually the big ones get paid to be there. But yeah, I thought that was interesting. But also like the photographers and stuff and a lot of these people that like work the carpets are just like older and like their idea like of stars just like brad pitt you know like they haven't recognized that like the industry has changed a lot you know yeah that's probably true it was interesting i thought that that's like i guess why i wouldn't like the red carpets always are like weird to me because i'm like that's why the oscars not that i've been invited but i don't think i would go because i always thought it was weird i'm like what would
Starting point is 01:29:23 i do with the carpet be like you know i've never been in a movie i guess i been invited, but I don't think I would go. Because I always thought it was weird. I'm like, what would I do at the carpet? Be like, you know, I've never been in a movie. I guess I would go. I guess. I don't know. I don't know. It's such a weird one. Wicked, I'll go. But anything else, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Like Oscar? Oscar. Yeah. But Amelia, like I wasn't familiar with her at all. I think I first saw her at the Barbie premiere. I didn't know. I thought she was really funny. I was like, oh, I don't know who this person is, but she's really funny. She does the Chicken Shop
Starting point is 01:29:46 Date series. What's it called? Chicken Shop. Is that a British thing? I think so. Yeah. Is it like a chicken restaurant? Yeah. Why do they call it Chicken Shop? I have no idea, but it's a cute name and it does sound a little bit fancier, I guess. It does. Because Andrew Garfield talking about it too. He's like, oh, you know, Chicken Shop is cute. Chicken Shop Date. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:02 She always gets like, how did she get such a big, it must be how did she get big stars? Plant? I was going to say plant, but maybe not. She's funny. Well, she's signed to your agency, so I want to get a find out. Yes. Get me a chicken shop date. I want to be on that.
Starting point is 01:30:11 They actually eat chicken. I never see anyone else eat the chicken. That honestly is tea. That is tea. And the chicken always looks good when they're at these little restaurants, but. Is it in England? I think so, yeah. I feel like that chicken's not good.
Starting point is 01:30:23 Really? Yeah. I think it's harder to get them overseas yeah that's why in hawaii the chicken's bad or no the steak is bad in hawaii because they can't get the cows over there or something like that really but they have cows and i guess there's some that are like not important like they raise there's but it's more expensive i guess if you have the beef that's raised on the island but or maybe that's like bora bora there's somewhere that's like they don't really get
Starting point is 01:30:46 good cows. Oh, because they have to import it? Yeah. And I think that's the same with England with the chickens. England is mainly they just don't put spices on anything. England? The food is so bland. They're just like beans and toast over there. No, beans and bread. It's not even toasted. It's like wild.
Starting point is 01:31:02 Everyone said Nando's was really good when I went over there and I'm remembering like, this not good really yeah i need a bang and buns over and oh my god that's the new chicken i really need to do a chicken shop day at bang and buns i would love to do it i'd love to do bang and buns i really do love amelia like she it's just very charismatic i love all her interviews and yeah the andrew garfield one um was a long time coming because she's interviewed him like on the red carpets before i love seeing those yeah yeah she's interviewed him i think in um 2022 i want to say it was the first one oh no 2023 um oh no i was right 2022 was the first one
Starting point is 01:31:37 british gq men of the year party and then again at the golden globes in 2023 that's the one that kind of went viral right the golden globes one yeah um and i think it's just so i don't know they have such good chemistry because andrew's like very cheeky and like was aware of a live uh i was aware of amelia's like vibe going into those like red carpet ones so it was someone who can like meet her and like serve it back to her yeah yeah so there's already a lot of chemistry between them and then this one the official chicken shop date i was like it felt like a rom-com i was like literally my face hurt from smiling because i love them together so much the dialogue even felt like scripted like it didn't even feel like real dialogue and then she said you know i don't know what i want and then he's like well i gotta get to know what you want i was like oh my god
Starting point is 01:32:22 this feels like it felt so intimate and so real. It honestly reminded me of, did you watch the Andrew Garfield's like Spider-Man movies when you went through your Andrew Garfield phase? I saw the one where he was in for like two seconds. The Tom Holland one? Yeah, I saw that one. Okay. So in his original like duology, I guess.
Starting point is 01:32:39 So him and Emma Stone like had such good chemistry that they didn't like write their dialogue between them like when they were in school together like they just have chemistry so they were just like riffing and like talking back and forth so it Amelia was giving me Emma Stone vibe like this was like Andrew's next like Emma Stone almost I was like wow I could really see it but then I'm like part of me is like is Andrew just a really good actor because he is that's I is. That's what I always talk about, though, acting versus chemistry. I've always said this. I was like, okay, but like, if you're like feeling those emotions, right? And he ended up dating Emma Stone.
Starting point is 01:33:13 Yeah. So I think it's word for them, too. It's like, is this acting? Is this real? Which is why I would never want to date Andrew Garfield or any star for that matter. Because it's like, not to be whatever. It's like Brad Pitt, right? He like meets Angelina Jolie.
Starting point is 01:33:23 Now he's dating her. It's just like, do you want to be with someone who just has chemistry with everybody? Like, Jonathan Bailey. Like, just everybody he has chemistry with. You know? I think that's why they have to stay single. And it's cute to date and have casual dateness. But for her, I'm like, girl, don't, like, have fun.
Starting point is 01:33:36 But, like, don't take it seriously. I don't know. Because also, Amelia Outerham, she's like, you asked for my number at a party before. And, like, you never reached out. So what is there? But also, Andrew was dating a girl like him and Raya for a couple months and then – A doctor, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:52 Or a scientist or something. And she announced their – she confirmed their breakup, like, a week before. They were broken up for a little bit, maybe like a month, but confirmed their breakup right before the episode came out. Well, you probably have to. I think that's why, like, I think you have to confirm a breakup because then when you see other people flirting, they're like, wait, aren't you with that girl? And you're like, we broke up. And then people have seen Andrew Garfield on Raya as well.
Starting point is 01:34:11 So he is out there. Amelia, I don't know. What is going on? It's a little red flag, Raya. I think if you're on Raya, it's like a little bit of a red flag. I think the apps in general are a red flag. If you're on an app, it's kind of like – but especially Raya, I don't know. There's a little bit of douchiness behind it.
Starting point is 01:34:26 I get, I would literally have no experience with this. So I have no idea. It doesn't seem like, I don't know. It's just wild. Andrew Garfield's on there because he's so big and popular. I know. I love them together. And we'd love the Andrew Garfield that he presents.
Starting point is 01:34:37 Looks amazing. But I get, I get a little bit player vibes. I love him more than anything, but also player vibes. I think because he is so charming and like, so like everything about him is a green flag that it's almost a red flag, right? Because it's like. Exactly that. It's like, how are you real?
Starting point is 01:34:50 And also like single, right? Like, I don't know. It's like, you're almost too good to be true. I don't know. Amelia was on the Drew Barrymore show a couple of days ago and said that she's single, but she did recently make out, like kiss someone. So she says it's going well. But she wouldn't say who. People want it to be Andrew Garfield.
Starting point is 01:35:07 I don't know. That's so funny. It was great. It's a great interview. I mean, regardless, it was entertaining and really great. Yeah. She's funny. She is so funny.
Starting point is 01:35:14 Like, she is funny. Like, I could never be quick like that. Like, when I see people quick. She's so quick. Like, with the banter, I would just, like, set her and, like, not get jokes or whatever. She's, like, so quick. I was like, wow, it is impressive. She definitely is, I think, like, our best, like, interviewer. Definitely above, way above, what's the other one? Hot Ones? A hundred percent more. That's like so quick. I was like, wow, it is impressive. She definitely is, I think, like our best like interviewer. Definitely above, way above what's the other one? Hot Ones? A hundred percent. That guy annoys me. I don't know who it is ever since he's the... Shut up. What did I say?
Starting point is 01:35:32 No, you didn't say anything. Yeah. Shut up. He's the worst. After that whole scandal about the Super Bowl this year and like breaking up with that girlfriend or whatever, I was just like, okay, I like you a lot. I don't really like him in general. Don't want to do Hot Ones. Don't ask me. like you a lot. I don't really like him in general. Don't want to do hot ones. Don't ask me. Or cold ones. I don't know what cold ones is. What's cold ones, beer? I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:35:50 Maybe. He hosts it? I have no idea. It sounds similar, so I don't know. I wouldn't want to do that one anyways. A chicken shot date. Oh, 100%. Yeah, no, she's – I mean, I guess some people settle down after a while, but I don't know.
Starting point is 01:36:02 The ones that, like you said, have just such good chemistry with everybody, it's like you said, are you a good actor or you just have chemistry with everybody yeah it's so hard to tell because also andrew garfield's in a new movie with florence pew and everyone's like oh andrew garfield and florence p has such great chemistry so it's like i don't know but what's up with that she's not showing up at the carpets or what she had a contractual obligation i guess i think she's filming something else right now so she couldn't be at one of the premieres so and Andrew Garfield had a cardboard cutout. Again, Andrew Garfield being the most charming man in the world.
Starting point is 01:36:28 He is great. Really serving, posing with this cardboard cutout at 4HPU. Giving a moment. You know what I mean? Yeah. I think if Joaquin Phoenix showed up to the Joker 2 premiere and Lady Gaga wasn't there, he wouldn't show up with the cardboard cutout of Lady Gaga. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:41 I'm kind of excited for Joker 2. I had a dream about it last night and that I liked it. Honestly, everyone hates it so much that I think you will like it. kind of excited for joker 2 i had a dream about last night and that i liked it i honestly everyone hates it so much i think you will like it when does this stream this week it's out on digital this week i'm gonna watch it you're gonna i'm excited when moses goes out to get the bagels on saturday i'm gonna watch joker you're finally gonna have your harley quinn like era of you actually like i probably will like honestly i literally had a dream that it was so good i honestly because people hate it so much that I think you will like it. I think I will too.
Starting point is 01:37:08 I see there's two people on TikTok that dresses them and they're always like recreating the songs and the scenes. I'm like, I like this. Like, it does look – they make me want to watch the movie for sure. Are you going to go see the Andrew Garfield one? Is it out now? Yeah, it is out. I don't think I'm going to see it because it's sad.
Starting point is 01:37:21 It's like a drama, I guess. Oh. I don't really love like a sad movie. I want to have a laugh. Yeah. That's why I miss – if Andrew Garfield and because it's sad. It's like a drama, I guess. I don't really love like a sad movie. I want to have a laugh. That's why I miss – if Andrew Garfield and Amelia de Moldenberg did like a comedy, I'd be so seated. I'd be seated so freaking hard. Maybe that's what they're gearing up for. Maybe it's going to be that.
Starting point is 01:37:34 I would be here for it. I would be so here for it. I hope Amelia gets into acting. Because he doesn't do like podcasts and stuff really. Like he doesn't do interviews. Not really. He does like professional ones. Like the industry-ish ones i guess
Starting point is 01:37:45 but not like uh but amelia now is pretty industry i feel like the yeah definitely the press circuit now for all these new like buzzy things like you have to do the traditional shows then you have to do either hot ones chicken shop date and then the buzzfeed puppies or kittens yeah call her daddy sometimes yeah and then it's like and then after that, it's Alex Cooper or Trisha Payne. We got to be there. We got to be the one to catch people that don't get to those. I would love to be it. Yeah, Alex Cooper's too busy, then, you know, come over here.
Starting point is 01:38:13 Well, we're going to get someone. God. My dream would be our first A-list to be Rachel Zagler. I would really love to have her. She'd be it. I wouldn't want anyone else. Couldn't care less about anybody, really. Or Addison Rae.
Starting point is 01:38:23 Jonathan Bailey. Addison Rae, yeah. Bailey I mean a lot of other people but Rachel Leckler might be right she's great but I think like truly connection wise like cause I just love
Starting point is 01:38:32 theater so much and there's the lore and history there yeah oh yeah I was a fan from like literally like the beginning
Starting point is 01:38:37 I would say Rachel Leckler is actually my top of the list yeah honestly same I love Rachel Leckler oh my god that'd be everything um yeah I get giddy I get so giddy
Starting point is 01:38:47 like thinking but I don't know what it is about celebrities that I just get like excited I love talking about them they're just like they're all it's just I don't know I wonder why why do we have such attachments to them I have no idea I think well I was reading it actually I was reading the psychology of it and like I think especially if it's in your
Starting point is 01:39:03 formative years like you just have like an attachment to them and you like in your brain you connect whatever moment whatever chapter of your life where you like start to fall in love with like their art then like you have that that's like the root of like the parasocial connection I guess
Starting point is 01:39:19 it's like if especially in like your formative years like me with Taylor Swift when I was like becoming a teenager, like 12, 13. Formative is what? Yeah, like when you're coming of age, I guess basically like,
Starting point is 01:39:31 yeah. But what about when you're 36 with two kids and you're married? That's still formative, right? Because that's when I become obsessed. Like I was thinking about this. I'm like,
Starting point is 01:39:37 it's weird. Like my Jonathan Bailey obsession at the moment. And like, it's kind of weird. Like I'm like 36 and like married and like I really think about him
Starting point is 01:39:43 all the time. Like it's weird. Because I think I was thinking like when we talked about it last time, like, oh, it's crazy. He did his own dance move. And then I started looking, I'm like, and like married and like i really think about him all the time like it's weird because i think i was thinking like when we talked about last time like oh it's crazy he did his own dance move and i started looking like where did he study dance like what where did it start like and john and bailey i've been talking about you after today and then i was like i literally was like why is that like why do we feed so much into it it's so preparing for the interview with him i'm preparing for it well i guess when you say like formative or just like a sensitive time like i guess i was postpartum when we started watching british oh yeah that makes a lot time, like I guess I was postpartum when we started watching Bridgerton. Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I was like three days postpartum when we started. We hadn't left the house and we started watching Bridgerton
Starting point is 01:40:09 and I was just like sobbing. I was just like so into it. We started on season three, but I was like sobbing. But then by the time we got to like season one and then season two, I was just like, yeah, I think I was really hormonal where I just everything about Bridgerton. It's like when I think about it, I really do think about Bridgerton as like my awakening. I'm just like, oh God, this really is like the life I want to live in. You know what I mean? I just want to go back to that era. Although maybe not.
Starting point is 01:40:28 I guess it's the era if you had a C-section, you died because you had to like choose. Do you remember that? Honestly, that is giving very like House of the Dragons in my head. I know they're different time periods, but. Are they or maybe they're not? It's just before modern medicine. Like that's. But maybe they're not.
Starting point is 01:40:43 When is House of Dragons? What year? Can you guess? Yeah. I bet it's the same. You guys. I bet it's Bridgerton, House of Dragons,
Starting point is 01:40:51 and the Alamo or 1836. Like look up the year or 1818. Bridgerton starts in the 1800s. 101 AC. AC?
Starting point is 01:40:59 What's AC? I have no idea. After Christ? After Christ. I thought after death that it was AD. After the conquest. What's conquest? I have no idea. After Christ? After Christ. I thought after death. Oh, after the conquest. What's conquest? I have literally no...
Starting point is 01:41:09 A hundred years after the conquest? Yeah. What does that even mean? I don't know. Oh, so what's that? Before Bridgerton then? Like, I don't get it. What is the conquest happening?
Starting point is 01:41:17 We should make a new calendar before Bridgerton, after Bridgerton. Yeah. When is... I think it must be before because they had dragons and stuff and they're extinct by the time Bridgerton's around. Okay, serious question, though. Dragons were not real. I guess maybe not technically, but they were kind of just dinosaurs, right?
Starting point is 01:41:33 So I'm assuming, right? I don't know. They were flying dinosaurs. Maybe they just didn't spit fire. It's giving, like, pterodactyl vibes, right? They're basically dinosaurs, I suppose. They come from eggs. They're saying this is like a hundred years after Jesus died.
Starting point is 01:41:50 I suppose. Yeah. I guess. Are we in AC right now? We're definitely after. Definitely after the death of Jesus. You gotta think about like, is the New Testament mentioning any dragons? Like, you know.
Starting point is 01:42:03 Well, not if it's after he died. That's when the dragons came. Hell broke loose. So like here we come through. That must be it. I don't know. That is weird. You think about that because when is zero zero?
Starting point is 01:42:14 That's true. When's year one? When Jesus came? Like, is that what they say? And then we all just start believing it. Even people don't believe in Jesus. Like that was year one. We are living in A, D, and C, E right now.
Starting point is 01:42:29 What does that even mean? Current era. Is that what it says? That's so funny. And A, D, is Anno Domini. Type when is year one. I want to know when's year one. It depends who you look at because there's so many different calendars.
Starting point is 01:42:43 Well, I'm looking at all of us. We're in 2024. when's year one ad1 immediately follows the year 1 bc there is no year zero what the calendar era is based on a traditionally reckoned year of the conception or birth of jesus wow that is so crazy that yeah all our years like, even if you don't believe in Jesus, like, our years. You're still basing. Whoa. Okay.
Starting point is 01:43:08 80 counting years from the start of this epoch and BC denoting years before the start of the era. I literally, I read the words and I have no idea what that they meant at all. So people, like, not my Moses, but, like, biblical Moses, like, he like he's just like doesn't exist because there's no year. There's no way to calculate that. Like there's no year before Jesus. That's true. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:43:32 Before Christ. So just before him. But how many years before Christ are there? That is a good question. Like no one ever says like 400 BC. Like what year was Adam and Eve? What year were they? Year zero?
Starting point is 01:43:42 That is weird. Yeah. I have no idea. There's mentions of dragons from like 4,000 years ago. Whoa. Stuff like that. Okay. Well.
Starting point is 01:43:50 Well, history. History. History is wild. Okay. Well. So I guess Bridgerton and not. Anyways, Beth has the dragons. Why is it related?
Starting point is 01:43:58 I love it. Fall for it. Because they have accents. And what else? Oh, to Bridgerton? I honestly thought the whole time they're in similar time periods. It sounds like it. I guess not. I think it's because they have accents and what else? Oh, to Bridgerton? I honestly thought the whole time they're in similar time periods. It sounds like that.
Starting point is 01:44:07 I guess not. I think it's because they have accents. They kind of dress the same though. Like gowns, like a lot of robes and stuff. It's usually more like medieval times,
Starting point is 01:44:15 those shows, right? And Bridgerton is not medieval. Definitely after. But I said, I'm like, why does Bridgerton remind me of Game of Thrones? When we watch it,
Starting point is 01:44:23 I'm like, this kind of gives me Game of Thrones vibes. Minus like the violence, but everything else is like Game of Thrones era. Maybe the way they talk. There's no TVs. The social structure is still of kings and queens. Oh.
Starting point is 01:44:32 Maybe the way they talk. Sometimes when I hear like Andrew Garfield talking, I'm like, you sound like you could be in Bridgerton or Game of Thrones. You know what I mean? That's just like the British accent maybe. Yeah. That is interesting. Well.
Starting point is 01:44:43 Let us know in the comments. Yeah. That's going to be a good one. That'll be a good match. And who are you being from the show? I forgot his name. All their names sound similar. Not Aegon. Aemond?
Starting point is 01:45:00 I think I'm Aemond. Why? Do you look like him or why did you pick him? I like his eye patch. Okay. And I like his hair. He has long blonde hair. You know I love like a wig when I'm filming because I play with it.
Starting point is 01:45:11 Yeah. That's going to look cool. That's going to look cute in a mirror. I might have to borrow one of your blonde wigs. We have plenty of them. There's so many in there. There's so many in there. We have a lot of wigs.
Starting point is 01:45:18 That's for sure. That's going to be sick. Oh my God. You're going to look good. I don't know. We'll be living the correlation between the two. Yeah. But I mean that's going to be sick. Oh, my God. You're going to look good. I don't know. We'll be living the correlation between the two programs. Yeah. But, I mean, that's going to be fun.
Starting point is 01:45:28 Our British – are we going to talk in accents the whole episode? We should try. Just be British. Can you do one? We've done it before. Do one. I don't think I can. I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:45:38 That's really good. Is it? I think that's very good. Is it? Oh, is it? That sounds like Harry Potter. Is it? That's what I'm kind of – I'm kind of channeling like RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
Starting point is 01:45:48 Oh, you're watching that one right now? Yes. I think when you hear the British accent so much, you start like – like Andrew Ruffles, remember we said we didn't know if he was British or not? He was so British in that chicken shop date. I was like, oh, wow, he's very British. Maybe they just turn it on a little bit to like lay it on thick. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:46:01 And I think maybe because it was Amelia and Andrew both British and they were filming in London, I'm assuming. Right. So maybe that amplified it on thick. You know what I mean? And I think maybe because it was Amelia and Andrew, both British, and they were filming in London, I'm assuming. Right. So maybe that amplified it as well. We're just two British people together. Yeah, maximizing the joint accent. Maximizing the British slay. I like British people.
Starting point is 01:46:16 It goes week by week for me, but this week. That's true. You kind of flip-flop a little bit. I think I like them right now. Especially because I think Wicked was filmed over there, so we love the British actors. I guess that's a good transition into all the Wicked controversy over the past week. Oh my god. Yeah. I've been like saving it because I'm just like
Starting point is 01:46:31 I want to go off on TikTok all the time. Like I want to go off so bad. I like this is why I hate social media. I hate TikTok. Like people just go so crazy for like literally no reason. People are just so obsessed. Controversy. The controversy is so stupid. It's like okay. People are watching so obsessed. Controversy. The controversy is so stupid. It's like, okay, people are watching this. What? Cynthia Erivo. So, okay, basically,
Starting point is 01:46:50 wicked. I'm a huge wicked theater stan and I'm a huge wicked movie stan because as you guys know, I did see the movie early. I got an early screening of it and I'm obsessed with the movie. Okay. Everyone's mad because there was like, okay, well, there was a fan at it, right? The poster came out. The poster came out. Everyone out everyone was waiting right when they announced that the tickets were on sale the poster came out where aria where i'm sorry glinda was whispering in alphaba's ear kind of like our theater poster right and then someone did like a fan edit right they did the fan edit to make it more like the theatrical poster so then cynthia riva put out uh who plays alphaba in the in the film puts out a statement saying that she felt it was like disrespectful, right?
Starting point is 01:47:26 Was that the word she used? Disrespectful? Yeah, she said, this is the wildest, most offensive thing I have seen equal to the awful AI of us fighting equal to people posing the question, is your green? None of this is funny.
Starting point is 01:47:38 None of it is cute. It degrades me. It degrades us. The original poster is an illustration. I am a real life human being who chose to look right down the veil of the camera to you, the viewer, because without words we communicate with our eyes.
Starting point is 01:47:50 To edit my face and hide my eyes is to erase me and that is just deeply hurtful. Period. Like I don't know why everyone was like, oh my god, how dare she, like whatever. Like I just don't get the uproar about it. It's like she felt disrespectful. This is like her big moment and everyone like, everyone was like mad that she was mad.
Starting point is 01:48:06 And I'm just like, okay, that was like her opinion on it. And she said it and she made it clear. This was like what she didn't like. I don't know. Like why does everyone else get to have an opinion, not her? You know, everyone else is going to be like, oh my God, like we want this poster. Okay, fine. But like she's like, this is why I chose to do it.
Starting point is 01:48:19 Like, let me show like I would be the same way if I got to be a lead in a movie. Like you better not erase my face. You better not change the way I look. Like I would be pissed too. I would be the same way if I got to be a lead in a movie. Like, you better not erase my face. You better not change the way I look. Like, I would be pissed, too. I would be pissed, too, honestly. And it's like, yeah, it's like a fan edit. And like, was it like, you know, did they mean harm? Probably not.
Starting point is 01:48:35 Was she offended by it? Yeah. So period. Like, I don't care why people have to like dictate what people should and shouldn't be offended by. Yeah. At first, I was like, OK, like my first initial reaction was like, oh, I think that's a little bit dramatic. But then when I thought about it, I was like, kind of like you said, like it is her face.
Starting point is 01:48:51 So obviously she has like a right to be offended or not offended. You know what I mean? Like it's just her image. So ultimately, like it is up to her to like, you know, if she is offended by it or not. I think her reaction kind of makes sense i guess the only thing is maybe wow this most offensive thing i've ever seen was like a little bit extreme like maybe her verbiage was extreme so maybe that's why people got like an uproar about it but i will say i think once you see that someone is hurt by something and then to go in and then make fun of them for being upset by it i think that is like okay then you're
Starting point is 01:49:23 just bullying right like i thought that was such a wild take it's like everyone's always talking about boundaries and setting boundaries and then the minute someone sets one it's like oh my god you're like so dramatic oh my god how dare she oh my god what a diva it's just like i hate that so much um she's also like a queer actress so like when she was talking about the is your like you know whatever green is also like deeply offensive because we finally have a movie about like female friendship and everyone has to turn it into something like sexual and stuff like that it's like not the characters it's not true to them it's not how they played it also the original theatrical poster is meant to be anonymous because there's a ton of different alphabas but there's
Starting point is 01:49:55 only one like movie alphabet and it's it's it's cynthia rivo so it's like that's her face that's it i'm sure if there was like a broadway poster you know where it's like only like one person playing like maybe but it's not her and her look is completely different. Everything is so different. The movie is so different, you know? Yes. It's like, you know, everything's based on the book. Everything is based on the book. Right. And then there's theater adaptation. There's some film adaptation. I just hate when people like, it's just, it's, and it's always happens to females. Like as soon as a female gives their opinion or something, it's just like, oh my God, way to be dramatic. Okay, wait, it's like, if that's the most offensive thing to
Starting point is 01:50:27 her, then, like, it's the most offensive thing. Like, shut up about it. Like, it just drives me nuts. And everyone's just like, we didn't mean any harm. Okay, well, she took offense to it. Like, you caused harm. So, like, just be like, okay, that's it, you know, and stop with it. God, the rhetoric is so annoying. And these are, like, fans, supposedly, of, like, the show, which is, like, the show is all about, That's why there are so many. It's like it's all about standing up for, you know, people standing up for people who are different and standing like that's what the whole like the movie is about. So I just don't understand why people are like attacking, attacking this this person, this woman who like set a clear boundary and said she was offended by it. It pisses me off so much.
Starting point is 01:51:03 It's so annoying. And I'm glad she clapped back, honestly. And I feel like she has done this. I didn't know about this, but I guess a lot of people were bringing up other tweets in the past of her like standing up for herself or her defending herself or her just like making her feelings known and people calling him like, oh, she's always like this. She always has a problem with everybody. It's like, I don't know. To me, it's like just a woman who's just speaking her mind and everyone's like, oh my God, like, oh, how dare she? It's like she? It drives me nuts. Then guys can literally say whatever they want about anything and it's totally fine. It pissed me off so much. She didn't seem bothered by it. She was at that
Starting point is 01:51:33 American or the Academy Film Gala. She didn't seem bothered. Ariana didn't seem bothered by it. She was just like, I love Cynthia. That's period. That's period because at the end of the day, it's a movie poster. Y'all need to relax. It looked good. Everyone that's period. That's period. Because it's like at the end of the day, it's a movie poster. Like y'all need to like relax. And it looked good. Like everyone wanted that one. Everyone's like they better give us the one of them whispering and everyone. But yeah, to make it like a meme and make fun of it. Like that pisses me off too.
Starting point is 01:51:53 Like what her response to it, which is like don't erase her. Like they showed her with her – like someone like photoshopped her eyes out at the thing. I'm like y'all are nasty. For what? Like there are so much like more serious things and we're getting a wicked movie. And I think it is because she's just like so talented and people just want to hate. They want to bring it down, which is like wild. But anyways, she is the leading actress.
Starting point is 01:52:16 She's going to win the Oscar and she's amazing. And I love Cindy Riva. I'm a new stan. Like I wasn't, like I said, too familiar before I saw the movie. But after seeing the movie, I was just like, holy shit, amazing. And I actually love that she stands up for herself and says stuff because yeah I'd be scared to do it because people just want to attack you for every little thing but I love that she keeps going and doesn't care and kind of doesn't acknowledge it you know it's like yeah keep it moving you're the
Starting point is 01:52:35 star and people are gonna go see it and it's gonna be the biggest movie ever and it's led by a black queer actress which is like a huge deal and it's amazing and she's so good and I'm so excited for her and then everyone else and everyone's gonna see it so whatever like a huge deal. And it's amazing. And she's so good. And I'm so excited for her. And then everyone else – and everyone's going to see it. So whatever. At the end of the day, it's giving more publicity. And that's it. That's there and that. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:52:53 I'm going to be mad. It pissed me off so much. Oh, God. I hate it. Because why? What's this? God, people get mad over such stupid stuff. Such stupid things.
Starting point is 01:53:00 Yeah. And it's – like I said, like I get i think the original like um fan who like did the edit stepped out like um at first he deleted it when cynthia um tweet uh posted her instagram story like he took down his tweet with like the original like fan edit um but then he like or they i should say they came out and like said like listen i honestly was and like am a fan and was just trying to like recreate the original poster or the like the broadway poster in this style like i didn't use ai like i just was trying to you know yeah pay homage to like their intent was good but like i said like once you see that the person whose image it is takes offense to it then
Starting point is 01:53:40 it's like okay and he took it down that's good i mean, that's good. I think that's good because I mean – I mean, people took it and then I keep reposting it. But at least the original – Post was down. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's good. Honestly, I think that's good.
Starting point is 01:53:52 That's always my fear as like a fan too of somebody's, right, is like you never want to go like too far. Like Ariana says, she doesn't like when people dress like her. Obviously, I'm not – she's not talking about me. But you never want to be like weird, you know, like with my chapel costumes. Like you just don't ever want to – I'll talk about me. Me personally, I never want to like weird people out too much, you know what I mean? Like using like, you know, her makeup artist or something like that. So you always like think of stuff as
Starting point is 01:54:12 a fan. You don't want to like offend someone or, you know, do something that they don't like. So as soon as someone says it – it's kind of like Ariana said about like lookalikes and stuff like that, that she doesn't like love that they use her likeness in certain things. It's like I think at that point it's like, okay, stop dressing like her then, you know? She doesn't like it. If you look like her in certain things it's like i think at that point it's like okay stop dressing like her then you know yeah if you look like her not me i don't think anyone's confusing me with ariana but i think if you like look like her and you're using her likeness and she doesn't like that and thinks it's weird then stop doing it yeah i think like you said like when someone sets a boundary it's like okay just like respect it like same with
Starting point is 01:54:40 chapel like when she's on her boundary i mean it is it's kind of the same thing yeah literally some like these women set their boundaries and then people turn it into like a meme like now it's like oh don't take a photo of chapel she'll like fight you or something oh my god i know photoshop cynthia's eyes you know it's like it's so weird yeah oh my god it's so true it's like yeah i hate it it's the same people who are like, mental health is so important. Like, yeah. I know. It is so annoying. Those people are like, oh, my God. Anyways, that is wild. I love her new Target ad, though.
Starting point is 01:55:12 Did you see it? Oh, yes. When she sings, right? When she sings. And then there's other people singing her line. I would have given anything to be in that because I have been practicing my alpha buff for so long. And basically, it's like a Tarte commercial where there's like a guy singing all the riffs of it
Starting point is 01:55:26 and then she goes out for it. And the guy kind of slays, but I would have slayed in that too, even though I couldn't sing and that was the whole point is like you don't sing like it's Cynthia's line. But I would have loved it. I just never get auditions for those kinds of things. Like I would have loved, I could have done it. You want to hear it, Randy?
Starting point is 01:55:38 Yes. That was so good. That wasn't my bad. That was powerful. It like radiated in the room like an echo. So good. That is really good. No, I can't do it.
Starting point is 01:55:57 But I would have done it for Target. That is good. It makes me happy. I'm not laughing. Yeah. It makes me giddy. I could do better. I kind of fumbled it. This is why I was never good at do better. I kind of fumbled it.
Starting point is 01:56:05 This is why I was never good at auditions because I kind of get nervous on the spot. You have to practice. Yeah. Okay. I'll keep practicing. Next time. For part two. The Target commercial for part two.
Starting point is 01:56:17 Make your own. It was so good. Make your own. That is honestly genius. Go into Target. How do you make it? Oh. If they had the green cards, I'd be like, she has a green card in it. Our Target just doesn't have the Wicked set up.
Starting point is 01:56:29 We actually went in there as Mike Linda. We were like filming it. I was like so excited to like see it. And there wasn't like nothing Wicked in there. There's just so much kids that just got out of school. And that was embarrassing. I know. Especially because I had the full costume on.
Starting point is 01:56:38 I'm like, this is so embarrassing. It was not embarrassing. Well, it wasn't embarrassing. I was like, I love doing it. But you know, you just get those looks. And you're just like. It's more like you're excited for something and they're like can't find it like what happened yeah i was actually very sad when there was nothing wicked i was like wow now i'm
Starting point is 01:56:49 just walking around here like an overgrown princess i looked more like sophia grace or something from ellen than glinda but i liked it shout out sophia grace pregnant with baby number two so jennifer lawrence everyone's fever. Baby fever. Baby aquamarine. Not us. We are good. Actually, now it's so weird to see people pregnant because it's like, oh my God, like love it for everybody, but also like glad it's not me. You know what I mean? Because it is like one of those things where it's just like, I loved it.
Starting point is 01:57:17 I love being pregnant, but it would be a crazy time to be pregnant right now with like three kids under three. Oh my God. It's just a lot. Two kids are a lot. It's a lot of work. They are chaos all the time. And two, yeah, it's, it's a lot. God bless people who have like eight kids. So dang, that's wild. Yeah. Five. You have five, right? In your family, five boys? I'm the fifth. Yeah. Crazy. But you're kind of spaced out. Yeah. The four,
Starting point is 01:57:40 um, I have four half brothers. I have two from my dad's side, two from my mom's side. And they're close-ish in age, like a couple years. And then I'm like eight years younger. Oh, that's a big gap. Yeah. Wait, so your mom had two kids and your dad had two kids separately. Yeah. You're their only kid together. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:57 And they're still together. Yes. T. That's crazy. I mean, I guess that's normal. Is it normal? I don't know. That's wild. So you have like two kids. I'm, I guess that's normal. Is it normal? I don't know. That's wild.
Starting point is 01:58:06 So you have like two kids. I'm trying to think how that works. So you both, they each have two kids and then they get together and like, oh, let's have another one. I don't know if they said it, but it happened. I guess it's like Courtney and Travis. I guess they had kids and they have a kid together. Okay.
Starting point is 01:58:17 I guess it happens. That makes sense. Well, good thing you're here. I was just trying to think logistically. I mean, everything's fine. However, you have a kid, it's fine. I just was trying to think logistically. I mean, everything's fine. However you have a kid, it's fine. I just was trying to think, like, how did that work? Oh, my God. Wait, can I ask how old your mom
Starting point is 01:58:32 is? How much older she is than you? She was born in 1960. Oh, she's young. So, she's 64. She just turned 64? And you're 32. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:58:46 Oh, she did 32. 32, yeah. Oh, so she just had your brother as really young. Yeah, I guess so. I never even thought about it, but yeah, now that I'm doing the math, I'm like, oh, yeah. I was like, that's not old. I was thinking she'd be like 40 or something like that, but that's like, no. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:58:56 Oh, there is the Wicked Macaroni that people want us to try. I know, but where is that? I can't find it. I wanted to do it today. Is it Walmart? It doesn't look like it. I tried to look online. I wanted to do it too. We have the cupcake sub-store, like it. I tried to look online. I wanted to do it too.
Starting point is 01:59:05 We have the cupcake sub store, which we haven't made. But I know. I wish there was more Wicked stuff. I guess Starbucks is doing. You wish there was more Wicked stuff? Yes. Literally, there is a Wicked of every item imaginable. Not Wicked food.
Starting point is 01:59:16 I guess. There's no toys. I guess there's no food. I'm sure there'll be like a Denny's Wicked menu. Please. Please no. We have two months. We have so much time still.
Starting point is 01:59:24 That's true. I guess November they might come out with more. Yeah. I wish there was more stuff. I want more Wicked menu. Please, please no. We have two months. We have so much time still. That's true. I guess November they might come out with more. Yeah. I wish there was more still. I want more Wicked everything. It is crazy how it's just taking over everything. I know. I love it.
Starting point is 01:59:33 Yeah, they're really pushing the Starbucks drinks. And the Starbucks recently got uncanceled, so shout out Starbucks. Yeah, that's good. Yeah. So now people can drink the Wicked drinks in peace, I suppose. Good for them. Yeah. We love that.
Starting point is 01:59:44 I know. Thank God, because their cups look so cool. I know. I was like, I need all of them. I have some animal news, I guess, too. But I mean. Okay. Let's hear it.
Starting point is 01:59:53 I mean, both whale stories, I suppose. Okay. I like a whale story. Well, the first one was Tate McRae said she almost got swallowed by a whale while she was jet skiing in the ocean. And again, I'm like, I don't know. The whale rhetoric is really... What do you mean you almost got swallowed by a whale?
Starting point is 02:00:12 You were in the mouth and he didn't swallow you and switch you back out? She was on a jet ski with Kid Leroy, who is obviously her boyfriend. And the whale was 10 feet away and she fell off the jet ski at one point and the whale just came up. So she said, we just... This so she said we just this was her
Starting point is 02:00:26 direct quote it was a big moment of our trip and I was like we just landed maybe in a mouth a whale's mouth but the whale was over there like she she's spinning the story I mean they do come to say hi it's a big gap between that two swallowing
Starting point is 02:00:41 yeah what does that mean like I was almost swallowed like that's so weird. I know. Just because it was close? It's giving whales a bad name, and I don't like it. Yeah. See, that's exactly what my takeaway was. And I'm like, this clickbait headline making the whale look like a villain.
Starting point is 02:00:56 Yeah, who posted it? Who published it? She did an interview on a radio station. Oh, okay. And gave this tail, this whale of a tail. Is that what it says or you just made that up? I like that.
Starting point is 02:01:06 I like the rhyme. It sounds, that's dramatic. Why don't people cancel her? That's a little dramatic. You're being like, oh, I almost got canceled by a whale. I'm like, did you?
Starting point is 02:01:15 Like, you know? She's like fat shaming the whale. Right. They don't just eat everything they see. Yeah. That is wild. And then there are incidents, I guess,
Starting point is 02:01:24 where whales accidentally, like, I think there's one where guess where whales accidentally like i think there's one where will accidentally like almost swallowed a like kayaker but spit him out you know pretty quickly so okay yeah the whales have a bad rap and it's again the billy eilish's the tate mccrae love tate mccrae love billy i don't know anything about tate mccrae should we get into her i don't know i think you would like her because she's a choreo girl. And she loves Britney. She's another one that loves a Britney homage. Maybe she'll play Britney in the biopic.
Starting point is 02:01:54 She's very, like, the choreo, like, so good. Like, she dances, like, insane. And her songs are all boppy. And where was this whale incident? Where was she on vacation? Hawaii or Mexico? Oh, she doesn't say where it was. She just said she was on vacation over the summer. Sounds very vague.
Starting point is 02:02:06 That sounds biblical. Wasn't there a story where he... Jonah? Yeah, Jonah and the whale. Was that the Bible? I think so. Okay, T. I don't know. I get confused because that whale at Disneyland, you know when you take that one ride, the storybook ride? Oh, we did it. We did that one. The storybook adventures. I don't think you get swallowed. You swim through it. Is that what you're doing? You're just getting swallowed?
Starting point is 02:02:21 I think you get swallowed by it now. That's a fun one. Moses had never been on that one. That one's really fun. It's just like a little cute boat. Yeah, it's a cute scene. And then they can be, they can sit on top of the boat, the babies and watch. It was really fun. She loved that one. That one was really cool. Yeah, it sounds like a made up. There was another one. Oh, Pinocchio too.
Starting point is 02:02:39 Did he get swallowed by a whale? Right? I have no idea. Yeah, I think at some point he was inside. Oh, I think that's what the ride is. The little boat ride. I think it's supposed to be the pinocchio whale right there's no pinocchio in it but i think that whale is supposed to because it's in the storybook land that pinocchio is in right i have no idea by a whale are you sure he gets followed by will you said it like i remember as a kid why did you why does that sound that's like a mandela effect or something like that well it's definitely Jonah and the whale.
Starting point is 02:03:05 What happened to Jonah and the whale? You know? No idea. You know? He just came back out. Period. He definitely lived to tell the tale. But what was the lesson?
Starting point is 02:03:15 It's a biblical story. You know all the lessons behind it or the moral. I mean, usually it's the same thing. He prayed to God and God comes to. But wait, was it Jonahah or jobe like jonah job i don't know because job was like everything bad was happening to him and he never lost faith that was like this probably nobody cares about it it said god sent a whale to swallow jonah and save him from drowning period oh wow whale could have been saved. Wow.
Starting point is 02:03:48 I would honestly be safer in a whale's mouth probably than like a shark or something. That's it. So you brought him to land? I suppose so. That's pretty cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. So yeah, Tate, if you take anything away. It's Tate if you're listening.
Starting point is 02:03:57 They could have saved. Did the whale have a name? I don't think she named. Oh, Jonah's whale? No. No, Tate's. Oh, Tate's whale? No, I don't think she named it either.
Starting point is 02:04:05 Yeah, there's no. There was another whale incident that went viral over the weekend. I didn't think she named it. Oh, Jonah's whale? No. No. Oh, Tate's whale? No, I don't think she named it either. There was another whale incident that went viral over the weekend. I didn't see this. It was a SeaWorld incident in Texas, in San Antonio. There was a Shamu show and a whale defecated. Ah, I saw it. Yes. Yes. Right in front of everyone, like at the edge of the tank while it was performing, and then
Starting point is 02:04:24 did a big splash. So the defecated water went all over the crowd. They're smart. Yeah, exactly. They are really smart. I honestly think it was on purpose. There's no way it was. I think the whale knew what it was doing.
Starting point is 02:04:34 For sure. Yeah, if you're like trained to perform, you know like when to do it and when not to. That's wild. And orcas' brains weigh 15 pounds and their emotional intelligence is similar to a 16-year-old. Wow. So a 16-year-old knows what they're doing.
Starting point is 02:04:50 They know. Yeah. They know how to troll. Good for them. Honestly. It is crazy. That's – I mean, you think about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:04:56 But also, are those people okay? Yeah. So they – the smell – I guess they smelled it before it even like got splashed on them. Oh, my God. That was – the smell i guess they smelled it but like before even like got splashed on them like they oh my god one of the guests did an interview and said that people were like gagging as soon as it happened and then it splashed and there's this one kid that's in the video who like before the splash even happens looks around as like their parent i'm assuming is filming and makes like a disgusted face in the camera and then the splash happens um and they all had to be um taken in by zero and like uh decontaminated afterwards what does that mean what do they have to do i think they
Starting point is 02:05:32 just gave them like disinfectant like a good shower i mean you probably get shots or something right if someone's especially because our diets are a lot of fish right i have no idea but the gag is they would see world didn't even give them new clothes they had to go buy new clothes at the gift shop there's like no isn't that crazy like disney we were talking about give you a free t-shirt they're like nope you got to buy the clothes i mean they probably should take some responsibility on that one i mean granted give them a sea world t-shirt it's like merch right right that's disgusting on so many levels but hey it's you know it's what you get when you go to the sport. Yeah, that too.
Starting point is 02:06:06 I always thought that was so weird. People wanted to get splashed. I was like, why? Oh, I loved it as a kid. Oh, you did? As a little kid, yeah. I don't know why I loved it so much because I would always chafe. From water?
Starting point is 02:06:17 The salt water, yeah. And obviously, I was a bigger boy, so my thighs were always rubbing because I would get soaked. I would sit like in the soak zone for Shamu. And how did you chafe? Because they were wet? Because I was walking around wet. Yeah. And the salty like this salt water. Yeah. Oh yeah. That doesn't sound like something I'd want to like do.
Starting point is 02:06:33 Like splash. I don't know why. I love it because you're just like sticky and you're walking around all day. Maybe you're hot. So you're like, oh, it's nice to get it's like going to the pool or something. When I was little, like for the shows, like they make it fun. They make it like an event like who's ready to get splashed by Shamu. Oh really? I don't remember it.
Starting point is 02:06:49 And they sang a little song like Splash Time or something. Like they make a whole, like they play this epic music and then like, here Shamu, you're going to get splashed. Like if you're sitting in those first 25 rows, you're going to see how much a killer whale can splash. Wow. They really get you at Sea world like the propaganda do you think it's still crowded like when you go because against kids they were in texas it still looked crowded yeah i was looking at the stands i'm like i think a lot of
Starting point is 02:07:16 people still go i don't know i literally couldn't like even driving in san diego driving past it like they have this big like tower or something that like spins around. You know that one – I don't know what it's called. It's like a new ride or something, right? It's like – it's been there forever. Oh, it has. It's like this big gigantic tower that you can like go in and then it takes you all the way up.
Starting point is 02:07:35 Oh, I don't know. It's like a little scenic ride. Yeah, you see it from the freeway. Yeah. And every time I drive past it, I get bad vibes from it. Yeah. Well, they have protesters out there now and everything. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:07:43 It is sad because it's like, oh my God, it sounds so much fun, especially kids love to see sea creatures, but you shouldn't go support it. It's the idea of a whale in Texas transporting it.
Starting point is 02:07:53 Yeah. It's so unnatural. Yeah, that is so weird. Yeah. It sucks. I wish they could make it... I wish there was a way it could be like,
Starting point is 02:08:02 I don't know, ethical because I would love to see a killer whale that close again, but like... Well, you go do the whale watching thing in the ocean, right way it could be like, I don't know, ethical because I would love to see a killer whale that close again. Well, you go to the whale watching thing in the ocean, right? Yeah, but it's like you only really see them like, you know, you see like the tips of them and they kind of swim past. Sometimes they put on a little show, they jump and stuff. There's places that you go in smaller boats and you can be really close.
Starting point is 02:08:19 Yeah. Yeah. In New Zealand, I guess people would be with them all the time. Go to New Zealand? Yeah, go to New Zealand, I guess, people would be with them all the time. Go to New Zealand? Yeah, go to New Zealand, I guess. But, yeah, I guess that's kind of the karma for going to SeaWorld, I suppose. Of course, yeah. It does suck, but.
Starting point is 02:08:33 They should do it more often. The whales do it more often. I'm surprised that doesn't happen more often. When I saw it, I was like, it's kind of weird. This is the first time I'm hearing about this happen. You would think it would happen all the time. Because even the parades at Disneyland, there's people who clean the poop yeah you would think it wouldn't be frequent but i guess it's kind of rare yeah well they gotta go somewhere
Starting point is 02:08:51 where else are they gonna go well those are my animal stories for the day you guys love the animal stories animal segments i know bring them back i just have nothing to really add to it. But I love it. I love the stories. Yeah. Although Olivia Rodrigo just met Pesto. Oh, she's still a thing. Yeah. I love it. Pesto is still a thing.
Starting point is 02:09:12 Pesto is the penguin? Yeah. The penguin. Mudang. No one's really heard much from Mudang lately. I know. It's weird how things are like flashing up. Is she getting too big?
Starting point is 02:09:19 Like too big? Like growing up too much so she's losing her violence? Oh, that's sad. I don't know. That is sad. Like aging out of stardom. I really do love Mu Dang. Me too.
Starting point is 02:09:28 It is crazy. God, time really does go so – but time, it does feel like such a long time since our last Hot Topics. I think because we were at Disneyland and I like turned off my phone. It's like, God,
Starting point is 02:09:36 it feels like just such a long time ago like Mu Dang. Like it feels like last year. You know what I mean? It is such a weird thing. And Bowling Gang was just Mu Dang like two weeks ago or something. Why does it feel so long ago? It feels odd time is such a crazy thing when you think about it
Starting point is 02:09:50 sometimes it goes really fast sometimes it goes really slow yeah but it seems like my is like seems like a lot of time has passed since the last time we saw each other i was like wow different era i think this has kind of been assumed knowledge for a while, but allegedly, I should say, it's been – it's allegedly been confirmed. That's, like, such a contradictory statement. But that TikTok's algorithm prioritizes beautiful people, and this is, like, according to leaked documents. TikTok's involved with, like, a lawsuit. And in these documents that, like, are unredacted about tiktok's algorithm it talks about how it literally will prioritize the people who it deems attractive and then
Starting point is 02:10:31 suppress the the uglies how do you prove this how do you prove well it's in the it's like in these documents from tiktok that talk about its own algorithm about like the content that it pushes out i've seen a ton of uglies on my page. I see a lot of uglies. So I think. I don't know if you. Yeah tell me. It says.
Starting point is 02:10:51 Among the revelations. Such as it only takes 35 minutes to become addicted to TikTok. Which I feel like you proved. Yeah. Other details about the algorithm. When a high volume of not attractive subjects were found. Populating for you pages. TikTok altered things.
Starting point is 02:11:06 And an internal report claims that TikTok knowingly tweaked the algorithm to amplify users the company viewed as beautiful. And for the unattractive people, it took active steps to promote a narrow beauty norm even though it can negatively impact young users. Because they're being sued by multiple states. New York, Kentucky, California. Oh, states are? Yeah. We're suing them for that? young users is what the because they're being sued by multiple states new york kentucky california yeah it's doing them for that for like the algorithm and how it can um manipulate and affect kids basically that they want there to be more warnings for kids oh it's like not yeah because it is really addictive i guess is the argument oh interesting like who starts those lawsuits i honestly have no idea like like gavin newsom's like i'm trying to do this you know what i mean like it's so weird i guess somewhere in the
Starting point is 02:11:48 state legislator i'm assuming i guess i need to run for legislation if you can just present anything i'd love that i would be seeing so many companies and things starting with snapchat snap inc should be but i had a tikt. Snap Inc. definitely should be, for sure. That is wild over there. It's like all the crimes, I feel like. So many crimes originate on Snapchat. Nothing good happens on Snapchat, for sure. That is wild. Well, I guess I agree on that extent.
Starting point is 02:12:16 Like, it can be addicting. And the stuff that they promote is like, yeah. I guess I never really thought about, like, the algorithm. That makes sense. I'm getting less views lately. I'm only getting, like, 300,000 views when I used to get like 3 million. Maybe it's no fatties either because I really don't see too many big people on there. That's crazy. I guess they can just push whoever you want. I guess that's why you get popular.
Starting point is 02:12:36 Yeah. It is kind of weird how that happens, right? Like because some people just come out of nowhere it feels and become like, you know, the next big thing. But it does explain how people like with no personalities like Bryce Hall become popular at first. You know what I mean? Does he still get views on there? I don't know. He's probably out of it now. I don't know how he does. Right.
Starting point is 02:12:56 Like all those boys, they were getting so much. And you're just like, okay, random. Yeah. Because they don't do anything except just like stare at the camera. Like they'll put on a shirt. You remember the one where he was like – Yeah. You remember that was like such a thing?
Starting point is 02:13:08 And I was like, what? And I remember they went on tour and that's what he did on tour. He's like – They went on tour? Yes. And he did that face. I don't remember that at all. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:13:16 And everyone like went crazy. And I was just like, what? It was wild. Yeah, they were on a tour. So maybe we don't support all influencer tours, I guess, because that sounds insane. I mean, I guess if people were having fun, I guess the girls went wild for it, I guess. I mean. He's getting views.
Starting point is 02:13:33 Yeah? I mean. I guess that's, like, we always talk about this, but social media is just crazy how many, like, famous people that are on social media that we've, like, never heard of. That we never see. Never see. Never. I know when people say, like, little honey was at a party last week.
Starting point is 02:13:45 I was like, God, I remember him from quarantine. Like, I just remember him on like that era. I was like, that's so weird. He's just brinking.
Starting point is 02:13:52 He's a girlfriend and stuff. Oh, blah, blah, blah. Oh my God. Well, that's okay.
Starting point is 02:13:56 Not us. We're not the target audience for that. Core audience, target audience. Yeah, TikTok is wild because you will see people with so many views and you're just like, that's so weird. Like, it's so random. I know.
Starting point is 02:14:10 And you have to like – like we always say, once you get in the algorithm, you have to repeat what got you in there in the first place. Right, right. And that's where people get kind of like burnt out and stuff. So there's some people that kind of quit, right? Like I don't think Brittany posts on TikTok anymore really. Really? I don't think so.
Starting point is 02:14:25 Because I went to go – I thought she would post on TikTok her reply to the Apple Dance Crasher. And her last one was like a couple months ago. That's so weird. To me, TikTok is just like the easiest, most convenient. Like you just talk and upload. You know, like it's so easy to do. I'm surprised she wouldn't do that.
Starting point is 02:14:38 Especially because she is – I mean she is a full content creator. She does podcasts. She goes to red carpets. Like you think that would just only help her brand? Well, I'm – because I see clips of her of um the broski report on tiktok so i'm assuming her like podcasts have tiktok pages but i don't know if not her personal i just love tiktok i love like that personal you know so good and not to be whatever it was like tan i just think she heard tiktoks are so like she's always just like i think it was like the night it canceled
Starting point is 02:15:02 like she goes to 3 a.m and she's like she just like it's so real like you just do you know what I mean like I would love if like mainstream celebrities were just talking to your camera like in real time strategy of like yeah just posting whatever I that's what I love about it I love to just post whatever I'm like here's what I'm doing right now it's so much fun TikTok is my favorite it doesn't pay at all but it's just like it's just so fun and I love scrolling I love reading comments I love seeing reactions like I I love TikTok more than anything. It's so fun. And I read also there's like an article about like millennials with like Instagram. And a lot of people are like – are getting nostalgic for like the early days of Instagram.
Starting point is 02:15:33 People would just post like their food or whatever. Oh, right. Like really random. And there's like an article saying like, you know, millennials, you can't just go back to doing that. Like you're the only one stopping yourself from like posting that content. I feel like they do now. I feel like that's what the dumps are these days are like i but i feel like that's coming from gen z i feel like they're the ones that kind of like are pushing the um just posting whatever and not these like high quality like photo shoot selfies
Starting point is 02:15:56 you know like i'm kind of torn between both i love posting random whatever so i think that's kind of i love a professional photo though i love like you know what i mean like our artist you're making art sometimes you make art and you show that sometimes just show what you're I do whatever. So I think that's kind of cute. I love a professional photo though. I love like, you know what I mean? Like our gesture. That's like an artist. You make an art. Sometimes you make art and you show that. Sometimes you just show what you're doing that day. That's right. Bonian called me an artist, right?
Starting point is 02:16:11 Told me something. I was like, wow, if he thinks I'm an artist, I'm an artist. No, but like our gesture podcast, that's the one I actually put a lot of effort in because it's all professional photos on there. So it's like, I just got that one verified because I like didn't want anything to happen to it. Cause like that one is like my, I put so much work into it because it's like, wow, this is all gone.
Starting point is 02:16:24 This is all my art for nothing because I do specific photos just for that Instagram and I hope you guys all follow it just Trish pod and I'm on there people always think it's you I mean you can be on there if you want but people always like Oscar that is so funny and I'm always like it's me but I mean it's I do check the DMs on there sometimes. I check it. But sometimes we all are on the Just Trust YouTube channel because I know some people are like, oh, who's chatting? Usually it's me in the chat because you're usually on your Moses account. I'm my own name, yeah.
Starting point is 02:16:53 Yeah. And so it's all of us on there. Sometimes you comment. Yeah. So it's everybody. Like, who's on this? I love being on there when I can for the live chats. And Jane Doe, yes.
Starting point is 02:17:04 Shout out, Jane. Wait, what ever happened to TikTok being, like, was it going to be, like, deleted forever, like, banned from the US? Yeah, it's he, right? It just stopped? It just disappeared? I don't know what happened with, I don't know what the latest is on that. How come no?
Starting point is 02:17:16 It's politics. It depends who's, which party. No one's talked about it on the political campaign, who's keeping TikTok. Sometimes also the government does that because they want money. No one's talked about it on the political campaign. Who's keeping TikTok? Sometimes also the government does that because they want money. So TikTok ends up paying, you know, billions of dollars to get licensed to operate. I want to go to the TikTok headquarters in China. That'd be so fun.
Starting point is 02:17:43 You'd be the new Danny Confidence activist in the Xi'an factory. I love her. I love her too. Is she still around too? I think she still is making Sheehan factory. I love her. I love her, too. Is she still around, too? I think she still is making TikToks and stuff. Yeah. I love them. People are just like, here. Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 02:17:53 Would you, like, Sheehan, I guess don't take into consideration with, like, the kids and stuff. Just think about, like, just you, like, in general. If Sheehan invited you to the headquarters, would you have gone? Absolutely not. Shein's trash. Really? Yeah, I hate Shein.
Starting point is 02:18:09 But people really do rave about it. And like I'm not about anything, right? Like I'll take anything cheap. I like anything like that. But I just think their quality is so bad. Like their cups are always so like whatever. So absolutely not. I think there's like very few things that I'd be like absolutely not.
Starting point is 02:18:21 And I feel like Shein is one of them. I feel like like Impulsive is probably one of them. You know what I mean? There's certain things that I'm like absolutely. not and I feel like Shein is one of them I feel like like impulsive is probably one of them you know what I mean there's certain things that I'm like absolutely there was something earlier we were talking about I'm like I would never the Matt and Abby show definitely not the Matt and Abby show oh my god why are people still going on that it's so weird definitely not that god there was another one of him he talked about how he had to go get an MRI did you see this no I have never seen I see it against my will on the FYP, okay? I see it against my will. I guess TikTok thinks he's hot or something because I keep seeing him everywhere.
Starting point is 02:18:48 And he's talking about how he had to go get the MRI. It was moving. They were all moving. And everyone had a stop moving day so he could go to the hospital and get this MRI. And like, yeah, I guess it's like scary or whatever. He's filming himself going in the MRI. He's like holding the phone. I'm like, what the hell?
Starting point is 02:18:58 Usually you're not supposed to. Anyways, someone's filming him going in the MRI. And then the whole thing, he's like, oh, it was nothing. And I was like, okay, so why did you post this? Why did you stop moving? Why did you make everyone – he's just – he's the biggest dick. He's the biggest dick. I just don't like him at all. I don't know. Something about him. I wish TikTok would like ban certain people that are just like unhealthy for the app. You know what I mean? And he's unhealthy for the app. Just seeing him makes me be like,
Starting point is 02:19:18 I don't want to be around any man ever. It's like jump scare when I see him. He's the worst. Logan Paul's pretty bad too did you see logan paul talking about his night nurse and how he fired her after like a night yeah that was wild okay i feel like in 2024 like we should not be like doing people's accents did you hear him how like oh i just read an article i didn't see it oh my god like he was impersonating how she talks like he would be like oh i'd go in at night and she would and then he went on to do like obviously like a very offensive accent. And it's just like, what?
Starting point is 02:19:48 It goes through like these people's heads. Like you can tell the story without putting on an accent, right? Like if I go to the nail salon, I can be like, oh, the lady did my nails. And she's like, what color do you want? You don't have to like do an accent to go with it. Like I think you get the visual of it. But he did this like really crazy accent. And it's just, I don't know.
Starting point is 02:20:03 He's like, yeah, I just like fired her because she's like yelling at us and telling us what to do and whatever. And then proceeded to do the accent or the voice just a weird thing it's also one of those things again like why do we put everything out there like it's just like something you don't need to put out like you're he's like I know what's best for my baby I know it's like okay well you hired someone to help you and she was trying to help and obviously you didn't like her technique whatever but to throw like people under the bus who are like helping you is just so weird and like what's the point I hate I really don't like a little while i won't say hey i just like i'm strongly you have a kid that's majority of people they're trying to tell you oh everyone's trying to do when you have a kid and they're
Starting point is 02:20:31 whatever everyone's like oh they should have oh they should have socks i'll wrap them in a blanket don't you know yeah especially if you hire someone to help you like they're gonna they're gonna want to tell you what because they both wanted to sleep and you know they're new parents or whatever so i can't see it like the way she was saying it or something. I'm not sure. But every time he speaks, I'm just like, God, you sound so stupid. And I used to like, like kind of like Logan, like I kind of just saw spots. Like, well, he's kind of good.
Starting point is 02:20:52 He's kind of mainstream. But when he talks now, I'm just like, oh, man. Same. Yeah. I don't know where the shift was. I feel like it was the past few months where I was like, oh, my God. I'm like, did he become more insufferable after he had a baby? Which is like usually the opposite.
Starting point is 02:21:04 Usually like, oh, they have to catch they soften up yeah he's like worse like throwing under this like woman who's like there to help you guys with your baby being like i fired her right away because i didn't like the way she was talking and telling us what to do like i know what to do with my baby and it's like well clearly you didn't it's so weird i don't understand what is going on with i think he's leaning into it i think this was so off the cuff because what was Because what was it? It was like an interview on someone else's podcast, right? Or was it his? I don't know. I thought it was impulsive.
Starting point is 02:21:28 I definitely could be wrong. Because it wasn't viral. I saw it like once. And so I was just like, the way he's saying it is in passing. It's not even like to be this like troll or, you know. I don't know. It was so weird. It's like since Georgie left, he's just been the same.
Starting point is 02:21:41 I can't stand Georgie either, though. Yeah, it was impulsive. Oh, it was? Yeah. That's so funny how, like, I just never see those clips go viral. Yeah, because it was also a while ago, this clip. I didn't know they still post. Yeah, I didn't either.
Starting point is 02:21:53 I guess they just randomly do it when they feel like it. I don't know. Oh, my God. Sorry, I just saw the thumbnail for the video, and it's, like, him and the other guy. Sorry, I don't know. Oh, what does it say? saw the thumbnail for the video and it's like him and the other guy sorry i don't know yeah what's it say it's just them like being like logan's like and it's the text says boys only and then it's the background is logan um nina and esme the baby and it's like wait what like that's such a
Starting point is 02:22:18 weird thumbnail yeah boys only but then you have your wife and your daughter when is it not boys only i don't know. I don't get it. I mean, I hope he's a great dad and maybe he is. But honestly, like don't throw the people that help you underneath the bus. And again, I mean, I said it last time too. But again, if this was like a female influencer, like a new mom that returned to work like two days after having a baby and was already like saying all this stuff doing all these antics oh trolling people roasting people starting random beasts with little minecraft youtubers yeah filming impulsive like literally he has like five
Starting point is 02:22:55 cancellations in just that one clip oh you have a night nurse how dare you oh you're you fire the night nurse how dare you oh you talk bad about how there'll be so much there'll be so many things it's like like it's wild. It's so wild what guys get away with. And no one cares. No one cares. They just praise him. They continue to praise him.
Starting point is 02:23:09 It must be great to be a man, to just literally get to say whatever and be the stupidest person on earth and get praised. No one cares. No one cares. No one cares. It is weird because like on my Twitter, it's sort of like Logan, a people will quote tweet him like uh because i think there was one where it was like you will never ratio me or something then everyone would like quote tweet him saying something stupid and like getting ratioed what's ratioed when like the quote tweet making fun of him gets more engagement than the original tweet and it's bad when they
Starting point is 02:23:39 happens it's just kind of embarrassing although for logan i think he's trolling because i think you just get money based on engagement so if you if people are quote tweeting his tweets to make fun of him like he's still getting money oh i see right so i think that's why i think he plays into it but again you have so much money you just had a baby and i'm not even parent shaming it's like but you're choosing to be a menace you know what i mean, it's not like you're choosing just to go to work. Like you're making honest living. You are literally going out of your way to make more money by making people upset. I know.
Starting point is 02:24:12 It is. It's just like not look. It's just like not a good look. Like it just, I don't know. People could say it's smart, but is it? It's like you just make yourself look like an awful person, which nobody wants to be around and like, I don't know. I'm not just saying this because you're in front of me, but because literally your whole outlook as soon as you had a baby was like the content i make
Starting point is 02:24:28 i just don't want like my daughters to be like embarrassed or ashamed literally so like you're you go out of your way to like not to be like as aware culturally aware as possible offend like the least amount of people stop one you know stop a key but like offend the least amount of people as possible. But you, it's the opposite. Like he's going out of his way to offend people. To hurt people.
Starting point is 02:24:49 I don't understand that either. I just don't understand that logic. Yeah. It's so odd to me. I don't know. Because at the end of the day, it's like, that's why I just respect people who like,
Starting point is 02:24:58 because it's like, yeah, it's money, but at like what cost? Like I just respect people who like have an honest like living, you know what I mean? The best they can
Starting point is 02:25:04 because it's like doing all that for what? money it's like you have so much he has so much it's not his come up it's not like his hawk tour his like 15 minutes his big break you remind you i did would say anything to get attention to get people's eyes on me the eyes are on you you're with the wwe you have prime you have lunch you have like everything your podcast every sponsorship like you have all your companies you have you don't have to do it anymore yeah you are like you are genuinely set but i honestly do think something like truly i do think like he is just like lacks awareness i think he is just kind of dumb in that sense because like the one where he's talking about the nightmares i think he really thought he was doing something
Starting point is 02:25:36 to say like i just know what's best for my baby as if he's like the super dad that had to like step in and tell the lady like no you don't know what you're talking about like it was just like weird it was just like i think he thought he was like eating and being like look how great of a dad i am when in reality it's like you just like basically fired this person who was trying to help you and it's like i don't know they left a bad taste in my mouth i don't know especially when people are not online and you're talking about them i think it's also like weird there's so many people in our lives that like help us and stuff like that and it's like i don't know i would never be like this is what happened with this person today it's like they're not public i don't
Starting point is 02:26:04 know when people try to help you, like, don't shame them. Yeah. Always get the egg from him. Yeah. And I guess that is a good segue into Lunchleys. Yeah, I guess the person who does care is Rosanna cares about it. Yeah, which – Crazy.
Starting point is 02:26:17 She's getting crazy views, though. That – okay, it is wild. So if you guys didn't know, Rosanna Pansino did a YouTube video trying out Lunchleys. And one of the Lunchleys she opened, she was comparing Lunchley to the original Lunchable. And one of the Lunchleys she opened had moldy cheese on it, which is insane that the number one Mr. Beast hater would get the moldy. And I 100% believe her. Because she would not, like, she would not risk it yeah like if you made it up it's like so much to lose but how wild is that it is because it was like almost
Starting point is 02:26:50 just like it almost looked fake because it was so much and so disgusting i was like wait what and she showed the expiration date and like yeah there's just i think there's just too much to lose to lie about something like that because she is very like litigious like she is like very aware everything she does i think she is plays as safe as possible she knows who she's going up against she knows like how much money they have but she's just not like an amateur like she's has like all her ducks in a row when she does these videos so i do not believe she would just fake something like this and the fact that there's like other like tiktoks that have come out with the moldy cheese so interesting it's like the hairy lipsticks all over it is the hairy lipsticks all over again
Starting point is 02:27:27 but jacqueline hill's getting got more backlash than the moldy cheese for some reason that is crazy it's so wild because i see so many comments actually like sometimes against rosanna being like oh my god stop you're obsessed like whatever and it's just like that's insane here's like again if it was a guy it's like oh that's investigative this is journalism it's groundbreaking if d'angelo wallace everyone would be like praise him, if it was a guy, it's like, oh, that's investigative. This is journalism. It's groundbreaking. If D'Angelo Wallace found mold, everyone would be like, praise him. Penguins is doing a video.
Starting point is 02:27:49 Everyone's doing a video then, you know? And it's like, this is, it's, it's wild. Cause I, you know,
Starting point is 02:27:54 we love D'Angelo Wallace, but he does about something about Cynthia Erivo, but then not the mold. And I didn't watch. Maybe he's on Cynthia's side. I'm not sure. But like, you don't do anything about Lunchly?
Starting point is 02:28:03 Like this big scam that's happening? I don't know. It's kind of, it's kind of crazy. I'm not sure. But like, you don't do anything about Lunchly? Like this big scam that's happening? I don't know. It's kind of, it's kind of crazy. I guess once it becomes like a guy talks about it, maybe it'll be taken more seriously. Yeah, they need that one commentary person to be the first one to throw the first stone. Throw the first brick at Stonewall. Throw the first brick at Lunchly and then the other ones will come through. Oh my God.
Starting point is 02:28:23 But you know, no guys do it, huh? No guys go against the guys. But you have to know people like the Hassans probably think Logan's a douche, right? Like there has to be, but like they don't say anything. It's so wild. No Penguins video on it either. Of course not.
Starting point is 02:28:38 Like it's weird. It's like they really do protect until it becomes too big to like protect and they look at Rosanna as probably like someone, oh, she's, you know, bitter. Like I see people say get over it, you know to protect. And they look at Rosanna as probably someone, oh, she's bitter. Because I see people say they'll get over it, whatever. And it's just like, I don't know. She's really on to something.
Starting point is 02:28:54 Wasn't Penguins... Oh, now I'm not me starting beef with Penguins. Wasn't Penguins the one that did Pokey Mane's cookies? But you all come out about molding teeth and lunchly. I'm actually losing my mind thinking about that. That's actually so... Because I was going through his whole channel.
Starting point is 02:29:09 I was like, wait. The cookies were good, not even moldy. The cookies were good. Fresh, good for you, but they had like coffee ingredients. Yeah. Oh my God. I am actually livid. I am livid. I am livid. Cookie means cookies, but not lunchly. It was a whole hate campaign against
Starting point is 02:29:25 those damn cookies that were good as hell. It was. Shout out Mina Cookies. So good. Wow. But oh my god. I'm actually losing them. I'm actually losing my whole That's actually so true. How? It was the whole group of them. All the commentary guys jumped against these cookies. Yeah because it once starts it.
Starting point is 02:29:41 Like you said once Penguin says it then it's like everyone does it. It's like D'Angelo or Penguins. If one of them talks about it, it's done. Yes, and then XQC is hitting on the cookies. Everyone's hitting on the cookies. Oh, my God. You're so right. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:29:51 What the hell? I'm actually so upset. Justice for Pokimane. Are you serious? Why? Why are they scared to go against like Mr. Beast or Logan Paul? Because like clearly they're not, especially I will say like Logan Paul, he's just like not a good presenting person.
Starting point is 02:30:05 Like maybe he's a good person but he's not presenting that way, you know? The only thing I can think of is maybe there's more crossover in the fan base so you get more backlash. Whereas like our fan base – like I think one episode you asked like do any of you guys watch Mr. Beast and everyone's like no. So I think we just have such minimal crossover. I guess. But even so – even when someone does wrong in like our same group, right? So I think we just have such minimal crossover. I guess. But even so, even when someone does wrong in like our same group, right? Like the girls, like Brittany Broski with the Cody Go situation or whatever.
Starting point is 02:30:34 It's like we like talk about it, even though we have like the same fans. That's true. Nobody wants us to see us against each other. But it's like, okay, but you got to talk about something when it happens. Yeah, there's like a little bit of a responsibility. But especially lunchly, it's such a big thing and a big controversy. And no one's talking about it. Or Mr. Beast in general, really. like the moldy cheese is actually kind of crazy and it's targeted for kids it's not like you know pokemon cookies were really just for
Starting point is 02:30:52 audience if you want to splurge on a cookie yeah but this is like lunch for kids going to school that they're begging their parents they want that food specifically right just because of the advertisement of it not because it's good and there's multiple people who said they found moldy. So I thought it was just Rosanna. And I was like, wow, how weird that is her. She also mentioned that like she went to look it up after and there were other like stories about it. There was one TikTok that got posted.
Starting point is 02:31:16 I'm actually, I'm going to check the date on it, but it has like 8 million views. And it's again, and again, like the same like coloration of the cheese. It's the same one. We should go buy like all of them I was gonna say do an investigation
Starting point is 02:31:27 yeah I really wanna know if one of them is moldy yeah that's wild I mean that's that's just I mean that's really bad that's really bad
Starting point is 02:31:34 like you said it's for kids and it's like if that's true I mean Rosanna's point too was like maybe kids wouldn't know you know what I mean
Starting point is 02:31:40 I never knew what mold was yeah for sure I didn't know mold on like a bread like I didn't know how you could see mold I didn't know about that like i just i probably ate moldy bread in my life that's actually really yeah really scary i mean rosanna's stronger than me for sure because she talks about getting all those threats and stuff like that oh god i could never do
Starting point is 02:31:57 it i get scared i tell her in real life i'm like girl aren't you scared like it's you know it's like people are people are people are vicious out there. Yeah, this one was one week ago. So I think it was before Rosanna's video. Wow. Because it was over the weekend, right? Yeah. That is crazy.
Starting point is 02:32:12 How many views does her video have? Let me see. And what's Penguins – what does he make videos about now? He did a lot on Joker randomly. Oh, okay. He does really – he chooses really random things. Is Burger King's Addams Family meal a complete scam? That's what he's asking in the scam?
Starting point is 02:32:31 I mean, that's so crazy. That's so wild. Is Markiplier's new show good? Where's Markiplier? I forgot about him. He has a new show called The Edge of Sleep. Is he acting in it i think so he's in the in the thumbnail of um penguins videos so i think oh my gosh is wendy's crabby patty a scam did it do well for him that he just kept doing that over and over
Starting point is 02:32:55 he got 2.4 million views wow yeah but you know that penguins can do just about anything i mean he is the biggest i don't know what is the word like male commentary i don't even know no like the biggest like confusion like the biggest to study when you study like social media and why people are stars you're like yeah he's very confounding like yeah it would never be able to replicate the penguins no no one could do that just sitting in a poorly lit room just all shitting on like a little webcam. Yeah. Like no production value.
Starting point is 02:33:27 It's so weird. I don't know. I've never seen a boy audience. The thumbnails too. Like again, it's very you style where like. It's just a thumbnail that's picked. It's just a thumbnail that's picked. Sometimes he'll put like whatever it's about.
Starting point is 02:33:39 Like he put a photo of Pikachu in this one. So it is crazy. It's so anti everything you're taught you're supposed to do. It's amazing. Good for him. I don't know. Do we like him? Are we on his side most of the time? What's his thing?
Starting point is 02:33:57 I honestly don't know because I don't watch a lot of his videos, but he seems to be kind of goes with the popular opinion usually. I feel like he, yeah. He's had a vendetta against Pokimane or what? Maybe. It's so weird.
Starting point is 02:34:11 Like, what is it? It's so random. I don't understand. Oh, my God. We need to have Poki back to discuss this. I know. Because I'm actually so mad. What happened?
Starting point is 02:34:17 Why was he? Like, why did we? That's what I'm saying. When people attack random things like that, when it's, like, hurting nobody. I'm so upset about the $8 cookies. Just don't buy them. I know. And it wasn't a deal. There was a lot of cookies in those bags. Like, I don't know. And they're so freaking good. And it's a Pokimane cookie. And it's like hurting nobody. Why are you so upset about the $8 cookies? Just don't buy them. I know. And it wasn't a deal.
Starting point is 02:34:25 There was a lot of cookies in those bags. Like, I don't know. And they're so freaking good. And it's a Pokeman cookie and it's good ingredients and all that. So like, it is weird. I love her. I do love Pokeman. And she wasn't claiming it to be like, you know, she wasn't saying forget Oreos, buy
Starting point is 02:34:36 Mina. You know what I mean? Like Lunchly saying forget Lunchable, buy Lunchly. It's so weird. Which is wild, yeah. But Rosanna's video was just posted a day ago at 623,000 views. Yeah, taking down Lunchly. Good for her.
Starting point is 02:34:48 Yeah. I mean, that's crazy. It's like divine intervention. The fact that this moldy Lunchly fell into Rosanna Pansino's hands. It's wild. Yeah. But it's meant to be, I guess. It is meant to be.
Starting point is 02:34:58 Because if anyone's going to put it on blast, it'll be her. Yeah, ours was disgusting. We didn't see any mold in it. We had the PR package ones, too. So just like the... Oh, T. We should go find the real her. Yeah, ours was disgusting. We didn't see any mold in it. We had the PR package ones, too. So just like the – Oh, T. We should go find the real ones and see. Because even the PR package was – it's wild.
Starting point is 02:35:12 They are listening, though. I get so scared. Because as soon as we mentioned them, it was like the next day. The PR package is the next day, yeah. I'm scared. They scare me. They'd be watching everything. I was just like, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 02:35:22 And they're targeting the LGBTs because they gave all the drag queens those lunch leap PR boxes. Yeah. I think Lucy DeLuca got lunch leap. They're trying to win it back, but I don't think it's going to work or they're trying to get them as their audience.
Starting point is 02:35:33 Yeah, I don't know. That Mr. Beast is just like, he just posted a new video and I guess it's his lowest performing video of the year so far too. Like what? Under a million? It probably,
Starting point is 02:35:44 I mean, it probably is like 10 million instead of like 50, but let's see. That's like not that bad. 71 million. Oh, wow. How terrible. How embarrassing. He should just maybe quit actually.
Starting point is 02:35:58 Because he usually gets like over 100 million. Oh, my God. 71. There's no way. Oh, no. Over 200 million. He did drop more than 50 in views but 71 million people i have to i just don't think that's real there's no way 71 million
Starting point is 02:36:10 people are watching him it has to be there has to be right like there's just no way because that's kind of that's more than like an ariana grande music video you know what i mean yeah i don't think there's no way i don't think it's real right like that is so weird i don't want to go against him that sounds scary i don't know his machine scares me yeah think it's real. Right? Like, that is so weird. I don't want to go against him. That sounds scary. I don't know. His machine scares me. Yeah, same. Send us PR. We'll review it at Patreon.
Starting point is 02:36:29 We do love those damn Feastables. We love the Feastables. Yeah. Unfortunately. It really did snap with the... Again, maybe take Jimmy's face off of them. Just my consumer... Like, if I was in a focus group...
Starting point is 02:36:38 For sure. When I walk past... And it's in Ralph's now, too, our supermarket. Like, it's Jimmy's face. Are you a Ralph's girlie? I am a Ralph's girlie. Same. Everyone's like, wow, you go to Ralph's? I'm like, I love Ralph's. Ralph's now too, our supermarket. Like it's Jimmy's place. Are you a Ralph's girlie? I am a Ralph's girlie. Same. Everyone's always like, wow, you go to Ralph's?
Starting point is 02:36:47 I'm like, I love Ralph's. It's our fave. Same. We should do a Patreon Ralph's edition. I would love. There's so much there. Oh my God. That'd be so fun.
Starting point is 02:36:55 And just like pick out snacks. Yeah. And go to the deli. Do you ever get anything at the deli? Not since a lot of the Boar's Head got recalled. What's Boar's Head? It's the brand. Isn't that at Pavilion's? Or is it at Ralph's? I think it's at Ralph's too. Like What's boar's head? It's the brand. Isn't that at Pavilion's?
Starting point is 02:37:06 Or is it at Ralph's? I think it's at Ralph's, too. Like the cheese. It's everywhere. It's both. Really? I was talking about like the chicken tenders and fries. And even like the orange chicken they have sometimes.
Starting point is 02:37:14 It's so good. Really? Oh, I knew they only had that at Whole Foods. Our Ralph's is kind of small, but it would be a tea to go to Ralph's. Get all the Halloween snacks or something. But I don't know if we have a Patreon scheduled before Halloween to film because we're busy this Friday. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:37:25 Cheers to a lot of Jimmy. Yeah. I guess we can make it Thanksgiving themed because they do snap with the Thanksgiving food at Ralph's. There is a Thanksgiving – oh, God. What was it? DiGiorno pizza. What's on it?
Starting point is 02:37:36 Turkey? Turkey and other random stuff. My mom said it didn't look good and she loves all that. Did you see it? It looks so good. No, I just hope it's not an orange sauce or something on it. Oh, really? Like a cranberry sauce?
Starting point is 02:37:46 That sounds like, not like a pumpkin, like a sweet pizza, you know, like a sweet. You don't like that. You hate that? I think it sounds good. I'd be down to try that.
Starting point is 02:37:53 We'll try it. We should do a Thanksgiving theme one. God, that sounds so good. But yeah, and Ralph's too, like Jimmy's big face, the smile,
Starting point is 02:38:02 and it's like, win a million dollars if you buy a Feastable. He's almost like a parody of an influencer. It's like he reminds me of someone who would be like a villain in like The Purge or something. You know what I mean? He's definitely the villain. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:38:16 He should be at Haunted Horror Nights next year. There could be a Mr. Beast Horror Nights. That'd be crazy. 100%. I would be scared for my life. But you know what? If he asked me to be in a video, I might. Oh, you would have to. Yeah. I feel like I'd be like for my life. But you know what? If he asked me to do a video, I might. Oh, you would have to.
Starting point is 02:38:26 Yeah. I feel like I'd be like, you know, as I think. Logan, no. I would say no, absolutely. If he said Impulsive, no. It's also like no one cares about that. But Mr. Beast. Yes.
Starting point is 02:38:34 70 million. We'll still take it. That's a lot. Oh, yeah. For sure. It might be 50%. But. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:38:39 Even if you win, you might not be in first place. I give you my consent to rearrange me. What if he makes me sign something I can't talk about? But I have to talk about it at least once for an episode. That would be fun. I couldn't hold it back. If they had me sign something, I'd have to talk about it. You would have to get a lawyer and figure out a way out of it or something.
Starting point is 02:38:55 Yeah. Or just risk it. Because a lawsuit would look messy on his end. Him trying to silence me, you know? Silence a woman. A mom? You would silence a mother? Yes, a mom.
Starting point is 02:39:05 An actual mother. Like, how could you do that? That would be... Thank God I don't have... Again, like, oh, no, it's fine. If I had boys, it's fine. I was going to say, thank God I don't have boys. But honestly, if I had boys, it'd be fine.
Starting point is 02:39:16 But I'm glad I don't have boys in the current state because I don't want them to be Mr. Beast fans. Yes. God, if my son was like, I love Logan Paul, buy me lunch today, I'd be like, shipping you out. I don't know what I would do. Go to boarding school me lunchly i'd be like i don't know what i would do yeah i would panic yeah i don't know either how do you like rewire that i don't know
Starting point is 02:39:30 that's yeah that's crazy that one they need conversion therapy for i mean my nephew goes like to school and stuff but um luckily like he doesn't know anything like the only youtube videos he watches are just marbles like he watches marble races how old is he he is five or six and he goes to school wait when did they go to pre-k he goes to first grade you're six yeah he just he went started early he started pre-k i think that's oh my god i was like are we supposed to put my album in school right now? And yeah, but yeah, the only YouTube he'll watch, like he'll ask to use my phone sometimes and he'll ask me to put on marbles.
Starting point is 02:40:11 And no one is in the videos. Like they just push the marbles and they go down these, no background music or anything. It's just marbles. Isn't it crazy what kids watch? That's wild. I know. It always comes up on TikTok too. Really?
Starting point is 02:40:23 Marbles? There's races. Yeah. Okay. I haven't seen this. Marble talk. That's crazy. Marble. It always comes up on TikTok too. Really? Marvel's there? There's races. Yeah. Okay. I haven't seen this. Marvel talk. That's crazy. Marvel talk.
Starting point is 02:40:28 Shout out Marvel talk. Marvel loves the one where the dad and the daughter are just playing with toys. That's cute. Yeah. It's crazy. But it's so produced. And I was like, this is weird. And they get hundreds of millions of views.
Starting point is 02:40:38 But she loves watching kids play with toys or something like that. It is pretty cute. She also loves slime. And I'm like, let's get slime. Let's put on Joey Graceffa. Does he eat slime? He didn in slime for two years there's a huge backlog of content that you can watch joey's out of town for our hunger games one i'm so sad about it devastating he's like can you do another date i'm like not to be fitting but i guess if you just want to come on. Maybe for the new, the Haymitch movie. Yeah. Oh, I know. We don't even have Haymitch for our Catching Fire.
Starting point is 02:41:08 No? No. We have no Haymitch. Oh, did Callie switch? I guess she was always joking. She always said she was joking. But she said to me, I'm going to be Haymitch. So I'm just like, wait, God, who do we know that?
Starting point is 02:41:21 But they have to be on the Justice Crew. I mean, I guess they don't have to be, but. In the finale, we will have to. Be Hayment. Baby Hayment. Baby Hayment, yeah. Oh, man. All right.
Starting point is 02:41:30 Well, maybe we'll think about it. But I guess it's not. Because he is like the next star. It's like British and he's like the next story is about him, you know. And it would be kind of cool to get him. But we're going to have a fire one. About the lunch, just so people know. Like when they sent it to us, they sent it in a package with ice.
Starting point is 02:41:44 Oh, yeah. And it was cooled down and it was fresh and there was no mold. And like I think at least for parents, just know that it needs to be kept cold. Like it will go moldy really fast. Like I just, just as a warning, like if you give it to your kid, make sure it's not like a hot day. Specifically cheese. It's not in a little cooler and whatever. Because even when you leave
Starting point is 02:42:05 the Parmesan out at night, I always throw that one away because I'm always like, I know if you leave it out, it's like fried rice, I guess. It's like the deadly thing that if you leave out, it's going to destroy you.
Starting point is 02:42:12 Although Rosanna said she did refrigerate hers right away, but it wasn't like when she went to open it, it was already not fully sealed. That was... Whoa. That would be weird.
Starting point is 02:42:21 Okay, I really need to investigate this. We have to buy out the lunch leaves. Next time on our Patreon day. Maybe that's what they want. Okay. I really need to like investigate this. Okay. We have to buy out the lunch leaves. Next time on our Patreon day. Maybe that's what they want. Maybe they like. So everyone just starts looking for it. Mr. Beast purposely sabotaged like two lunch leaves.
Starting point is 02:42:31 That would be wild. So like everyone buy them. Yeah. I mean that's crazy. And it's weird. It's not a bigger story that people aren't talking about it. Yeah. Like Rolling Stone.
Starting point is 02:42:39 Where are you? Where's Good Morning America? I guess everyone's scared. Where's ABC? CNN? That's true. They shouldn't be scared. It should be like the big one.
Starting point is 02:42:44 Like a CNN should be on it. Because like if a kid got sick like what right right maybe it's not real cheese maybe no but that was the whole thing that they were saying remember it was like mr b his whole tweet was like um it's better than lunch but we use real cheese real ingredients blah blah blah like that was the whole marketing thing it's like people lunchable. We use real cheese, real ingredients, blah, blah, blah. Like that was the whole marketing thing. People were surprised that there's malt. They're like, what? There's actual nutrition there.
Starting point is 02:43:09 Like they were surprised. It's a real product. Oh, I guess that's good for them. It's real. Sometimes they keep McDonald's to sit for months and it doesn't change. Right.
Starting point is 02:43:16 It stays the same. So here it means that there is some actual nutrition in the cheese. Just keep it refrigerated and sealed. Yeah,
Starting point is 02:43:24 because wasn't the expiration date like two months later? Yeah, it was December. Wild. It's crazy. I mean, it is actually. Like you said, what are the chances she gets that? The number one hater. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:43:35 That is just like, I mean, there's some kind of higher power. I know. That's how I believe. I don't know what kind of higher power, but there's something to give Rosanna Pansino a moldy lunchly. And I think that's beautiful. I know. That gives me hope. I know.
Starting point is 02:43:50 And shout out to Rosanna for not being scared. She's just like, here I am. She ran with it. I'm always a little scared. I'm like, even every time I talk to Mr. Beast, I'm like – I feel like I should thank him. Thank you, Mr. Beast. We always plug Beastables afterwards. We always love Beastables.
Starting point is 02:44:03 We do love them. Thank you for keeping. Beast. We always plug Beastables after us. We always love Beastables. We do love them. Thank you for keeping YouTube alive. Oh, you guys. Well, what a fun episode. That was a fun one. Talking about whales, wicked, and...
Starting point is 02:44:14 Moldy cheese. Moldy cheese. That's the title. I was trying to give you titles for it. Thank you for always slaying me in the thumbnail. I love the way I look.
Starting point is 02:44:24 The Y yesified thumbnail oh god I always look so fierce then people click on it and be like that's not what she looked like I mean don't even do that much
Starting point is 02:44:32 some people get crazy like everyone I think you do a lot no I really don't I look crazy but in a good way no I don't really do that much
Starting point is 02:44:40 like maybe a little bit with expressions like Tana last week I didn't have to do anything but everyone thought I edited Tana so much well also the faces you're always like the eye i can't do it because i have botox but you're always like the eyebrows are always like oh yeah love an eyebrow tana didn't have to do because she was already expressive in the original photo
Starting point is 02:44:54 brooke i made look a little bit more mad you always fudge the eyebrows kind of crazy because i know i can get away with like i know you love it so i love it i think you should make me look as crazy as just blur me at some point i think it looks so cool i love it it's so much better because like we talked about like when i went on like soul boom it's like the darkest lighting i looked just so like angry and mad it's like i love when we're bright fun and expressive it looks like a cartoon gets people to click and that's what we're all about that's what we're about great episode you guys. Be nice. Nothing's that serious, right? Unless it is serious, I guess. But, you know, all this stuff is not that serious.
Starting point is 02:45:31 Well, the cheese is pretty serious, actually. It is a little serious. I think that one should be talked about more than the Wicked poster, honestly. But my opinion, maybe don't go buy it. But I don't know. Buy it if you want. I wouldn't personally buy it for my kids. But we did get the PR packet. Well, we'll probably go buy it to investigate.
Starting point is 02:45:45 Yeah. But that's just as journalists, not as, you know, consumers. Fans. Yeah. Right up there with the Dobrik's pizza. Yeah. Oh, my God. That Dobrik's pizza.
Starting point is 02:45:52 Next. It's just a journey. I know we always – okay. We always talk about this. Jimmy's like, you guys always talk about something. I cut it. Like, about the paper. I'm like, okay, sorry.
Starting point is 02:45:59 We love you. Moses with the lyrics today. That was – show them your lyric page. Can you take it down now? I love that you had it. I wish I could show take it down now? I love that you had it. I wish I could show it from this angle. I love that you had it. I sent a picture to you.
Starting point is 02:46:08 Oh, you did? Okay, okay. Love it. Should we? We can exit a little bit soon. Okay, ready? One more time to sing us out. Okay, everyone can sing with us.
Starting point is 02:46:15 Okay, ready? Everyone go. Yeah, hold it up. Pull up the cameras. Oh, I guess you don't have to. Yes, sorry. Okay, yeah. Okay, ready?
Starting point is 02:46:21 Every moment. As long as you're mine. I'll wake up this body. Oh, yeah, there's different words. And make up for lost time. Say there's no future for us as a pair. I'll make, I may know, and I don't care Just for this moment As long as you're mine
Starting point is 02:46:55 I'll make up this moment And see how bright we shine Borrow the moonlight Until night is through And know I'll be here Holding you Wow, I closed my eyes and thought it was Jonathan Bailey. Period.
Starting point is 02:47:18 Open it and it's period. Yes! But you're even better than Jonathan Bailey. Unless he wants to come on and do it. I'll know the words by then we love you period yes see you next time bye
