Starting point is 00:00:00 I think also if you're establishing yourself as a podcast and we also don't know you, you should probably, me just being mad and jealous. I know, always. Everything comes from bias with us. If it's the toast, if it's anything. I'm just like, what the hell? Like, yeah. Maybe establish yourself as personality before you go and get Emma Roberts. Like, and this is me off too. I know. I was like, what the hell? I was like, oh, that's how it works. Industry plans or unwell plans. So, why am I nervous as if I don't know the answer? I'm excited. I don't know the answer would be. Well, so five years ago, I feel like my life started.
Starting point is 00:01:36 And then after that, three more little precious life started. And then if that's what we achieved in five years, I can't imagine what we'll do in the next 50. So will you remarry me? Oh. Ah! Wow. There's like three boxes to open, so I have to put it in one big box.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Oh my gosh. Yes, before I even know it's, yes, I will remarry you. Thank you. I feel like I report. Thank you. Yes, I will re-barry you. Thank you. Oh, my God, are they all, not all of them?
Starting point is 00:02:20 Do I get all of them or is it just pick one? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. This is so exciting. What does the three represent? Well, we have three little babies. Okay, I love that. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:02:36 This one is really cool. Oh, I'm going to put them on now. Wow. You're welcome. I hope you wear them in the wedding. I will. Thank you. You look so handsome.
Starting point is 00:02:54 When you came over, you look so handsome. Most of it don't go in there. Oh, my gosh. Actually, yeah, we're kind of matching. How sweet. In the pink. Thank you. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Yes. Oh, my gosh. Thanks, babe. Oh, my God. is the best thing ever. They finally got here. This has been an ordeal. Oh my gosh, I feel. Because you know when our roads were worked on, every day they tried to deliver and they couldn't get in. Oh, no. And every day I'm trying to chase them. And then finally I got it. But then, you know, we just couldn't make it for Monday episodes. I was like, okay, Wednesday episode.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Oh, I love it so much. This is great. This is the peak. I think it's great. Everyone was like, everyone hated this online. But I think it's beautiful. You see how they. Yeah, it's like the iridescent, It's like glass, like you see through them. It's beautiful. I'm going to put those on right now. And then the this part, like I didn't even know that part was up there. So pretty. Yeah, I didn't either.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Oh my gosh. Thanks, babe. Wow. I think you're like the first to have them. I know. I know. I was like, oh my God, thank you for giving to me early because I think last time we talked about like, oh my gosh, it might be anniversary wedding.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Oh my gosh. Yeah, we had our wedding planning yesterday. This is so exciting. We tried in earlier, but yeah. Aw. Oh wow. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 00:04:06 That looks really pretty. Yay. I did not know this was happening. Did not have any clue. Like I knew I knew this was happening because I saw him texting. I was like, who are you texting? But I did not know the proposal renewal because I remember. I just talked about this yesterday.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I'm not leveling to Tiana because someone was asking about how to share their proposal online. And I was telling him. And I said, I tricked Moses into thinking that there was a proposal renewal. You're like, wait, what? And I was like, but I'm just kidding. But this is great. And there should be one. Now we have the standard that there should be.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Oh my God, I love it so much. Thanks, baby. I mean, it's the ceremony of the game. gift giving to a proposal. I love it. Yeah, just presented with all these. Thank you so much. This covers everything.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Christmas anniversary. Birthday, everything. Thank you so much. I love it. Thank you. Will this fit my wrist? It should. Everything should be...
Starting point is 00:04:54 Probably fit two of you. Oh, thank you. We got to do this every year. I love a proposal renewal. Will you marry me again? Yes. Every current segment on our show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Look how much room. I know, wow. No extender needed. I threw out all my extenders when I did the work. Oh. Wow. Wow. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:05:16 You make it small. Wow. No, I love it. I feel so tiny. It's like, oh, my gosh, beautiful. Thank you, babe. I think the necklace might. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:24 We'll go it later. Okay, thank you so much. Malbo's going to love it. Thank you. Oh, my gosh. I can't wait to marry you again. That was beautiful. You made me cry.
Starting point is 00:05:34 We did do a lot in five years. We were going through. I was serious about that. Yeah. We were going through Memory Lane on the Patreon about the origins of this podcast. And I was like, damn, like, a lot happened in three years. It was like, we did so much. And it's like crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:52 It's crazy to think about it. I was like, damn, if we did all that, like you said in five years, everything we've done, three years, everything we've done here, it's like sky is the limit. My goal was our early text messages, I told Oscar, I'm aiming big for this show. For Just Trish, I want it to be on syndication. Yep. And who knows? Maybe syndication's dead.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Yeah, I was going to say. Like there's no syndication. It's just streaming now. I was like, oh, didn't manifest that. We were thinking early on, maybe Moses, you know too. Actually, I have a gift for you too. Oscar is not privy to anything other than we were going through my old notes because I was trying to find the original names we came up with for the podcast.
Starting point is 00:06:26 So I was like, oh, let me go back to 2023. And Oscar, there was only one note that Oscar looked at. And he's like, what? And he started saying something. And I was like, wait, what are you reading? And it was this. So can you please? read what you picked out. Of all the notes, we went back three years and he, you know, looking
Starting point is 00:06:43 over the shoulder to like me see, whatever. I think we saw an Oscar note, but then he saw another one that stood out to him. And this is the one note that stood out to him. And there's a lot in there, mind you. There's a lot of crazy things in there. Do you have any guess what it could be? I literally have no idea. It's a poem, I think, maybe a song, I guess. Just start it. Okay. A black snake hits a standing rock. The snakes tries to force its way through. But what the black snake cannot see is a clear stream of water surrounding the rock, keeping it in place. In fact, it is the water that put the rock there to stop the poisonous snake. Do not use force.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I hear the water say. Do not spill his black blood and poison my mind again. Fire is a tool in the hands of water and I am the water snake. Oh, I didn't get to the end. The end is very revealing. The first line he just started reading. And I was like, wait, what is that from? And then I was like, I love this poem.
Starting point is 00:07:38 I love, it's a poem. You were right. It's a poem. It's called Black Snake, Black Rock, Standing Water. Our author of the poem is here, Moses Hagman. Would you like to say what the title was? It's Water Snake. I am the Water Snake, the Water Snake.
Starting point is 00:07:54 It was always one of my favorite videos of Moses's. And I loved it. And I think at the beginning when we first met, obviously you guys know I was not nice to Moses at the very beginning because I was kind of. mean and I would be like, oh my god, this is so bad. But I truly love that poem. And then as I got to love you, I was like, oh, I love this poem. So I always wanted to like recreate it.
Starting point is 00:08:12 And I always wanted to, and I was like, no, like, you're making fun of me. No. But I was like, I truly like loved it. So I was trying to always like recreate it. But then he was always adamant about me not doing. Remember the trend where people would have a laptop and they would do like word for word? Yes. So I like memorized it.
Starting point is 00:08:23 I had it my phone. Because I love the poem. I like loved it. Our baby Aquaman was going to be Water Snake. He was this close to being water snake. But Moses, I feel like in the back room, right, I still thought I was like making fun of your poem. But I love this poem.
Starting point is 00:08:34 It's my favorite video. Did you ever private it? Are you tipped it up? On his original channel, channel water. He has the poem. And it's just like him doing almost like spoken word about this. And it's like one you, and it's about something political.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Like the water pipes and. It was about the Keystone. Yeah. Like they were trying to get the oil pipe through the river and all that. Wow. So the water snake is. So there were a lot of artists that were trying to support the cause and my poem was there to support the cause. Oh, really? It was part of something? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Yeah. We were trying to stop the pipeline going through the water. Did you stop it? I think it was stopped. Great. Mission accomplished. That's great. I love that. I didn't even know it was for that. See, that's an added layer of beauty to the poem. Yeah, it's like the fight between water and oil, like crude oil, you know. I loved it. I loved it. Everyone went to it. It was viral for a minute. Everyone flooded the water snake and I loved it. And we almost named our baby water snake because he was a snake. Water snake would have been so cool. It didn't really go with our movie theme, so then we thought of Waterworld, and then we ended up just a waffle man. But it was so, it was so crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Anyways, so that's my anniversary gift to you. My poem. After reading The Butter Snake on Just Trish. What notes are those? It was just in her notes app. We were going through Trish's Notes app on Patreon to try to find, like, the original concept of Just Trish. And she was scrolling in there for quite a while. I went through her dream bags, bills she has to pay, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:10:01 And then all of a sudden I was like, oh yeah, one that just said Oscar. He's like, what's that? I'm like, let me see first. I was like, what is she writing about me? Then it was just like a new SD card. I'm like, okay, thanks, girl. And I saw one that just had a black snake and I was like, what is that? I just didn't fit with the rest of the vibe of Trish's notes.
Starting point is 00:10:20 And I was like, what is that? It made me so happy because I just that's such a, there's so many flows of that to our relationship so many times. at the beginning, I'd be like, oh my God, this is so good. And then I was like, oh, wait, this is so good. And then I was like, stop, stop it. And then I was like, no, I love it. And then now we know it's for a great cause. And you were changing the world.
Starting point is 00:10:34 You literally stop the pipeline from first name. That's pretty great. Did you guys go over the names for the podcast when I was trying to pitch? Well, that's what we couldn't figure out. Okay, so we know we saw only Trish, just Trish. And then Oscar was like, Just Trish was sticking out. And then he came back again. I was like, I had a dream about just Trish and see it as a logo.
Starting point is 00:10:51 But we so specifically remember there was more names. But we couldn't remember those names. Because we talked about the names. Yes. And we talked about them on Zoom about it. Yeah. Yeah. Do you remember any other names?
Starting point is 00:10:58 Because I really wanted it to be Tricia as a talk show. Oh, that was on the list. Because I wanted to manifest a talk show and like, this is your talk show. You have a talk show. Oh, that was your idea because that was on one of the notes. Okay. So that was it. Do you remember any other?
Starting point is 00:11:12 Were they all Trish or there was one? Because we thought there was one that didn't have my name in it. Or was it always just Trish? No, it was. No, it was. I think some were just Trish. Like, no, nothing else. That's the way to point.
Starting point is 00:11:21 And then, yeah, only Tris, Jess Trish. Trisha's the talk show. That's up, oh, it made the notes because it was written down on our notes. Trish has a talk show. So that's so funny. That was the name of this podcast, the Trish Talk Show podcast. I kind of love that too. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Yeah. Oh, I love that. I was always Trish-centric. And Oscar was always down with Jess Trish because sometimes that's the show. Should we change the name? It's not just Trish anymore. But then it's like you did have the vision earlier. You said you had a dream about it, really.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah. I had a premonition, I suppose. Also, it fit the narrative of the time of all the drama and everything happening with all the previous co-hosts. You're like, you just need just rich. You don't need anything else. That's like the real. That's like the real reviews. And I said that in my emails to the beginning.
Starting point is 00:12:05 I literally was just like, I need a solo pod. I cannot have anyone else. So it was like obviously like not fully solo, but that's like where it was for it. Yeah. And so it was going to be just Trish because I was like, I don't have anyone else. Because we did react to a previous co-host of mine. And I was just like. damn I really was just getting
Starting point is 00:12:22 sketching strays right and left with the co-host you know what I mean and I was just like I really should probably just try something I don't even think it was a stray I think it was right at the it was a death shot maybe right at the temple that was crazy to watch back I know it was kind of a weird thing I was like
Starting point is 00:12:38 damn okay this was yeah it was weird I was definitely uncomfortable and anyways we found our we found our stride here that's been wonderful yeah 314th episode so randomly being nostalgic.
Starting point is 00:12:52 That's all good. Is it the 314? Yeah. Because that's our anniversary. 314. Oh, wait. Yeah, it's our pie day. Oh, the wedding.
Starting point is 00:12:59 I mean, a dating anniversary. Yes. Meeting anniversary. Oh, just meeting. Yeah, our first date was March 14. Oh. We have a lot of anniversaries. March 14th is the day we first met.
Starting point is 00:13:08 August 1st is the day we became boyfriend and girlfriend. December 18th is when we got engaged. December 11th is our wedding anniversary. And what is today? September 23. September 23. is our, now it's our proposal renewal. Oh.
Starting point is 00:13:24 So, so many dates to celebrate. And it's been really great. And we are celebrating being tiny in our chunky knit sweaters. Yes. These are the Emma Chamberlain, J. Crew collab, not sponsored. Just big fans of Emma Chamberlain, I guess. Literally today when I was doing glam, they're like, oh, is this like sponsor? Are you doing like Halloween costumes?
Starting point is 00:13:43 Like, no. Oscar's like, oh, have you seen the new J-Crews? And I was really excited. But people did see this in my TikTok and like, oh, I remember you guys talking about this on Patreon. I can't wish you guys matching. So people are seated for our matching. So if Isaiah gets here a little early,
Starting point is 00:13:55 we should do a little matching moment for a talk. Yeah. We are serving Emma Chamberlain boots today, for sure. And the wig I thought originally was Ice Spice, but then I remembered Emma Chamberlain wore this wig also. Hers was a little more salmon, a little lighter with the middle part, and Ice Spices was pretty pink to the side. So it is giving more ice spice than Emma.
Starting point is 00:14:12 And in general, I give more anything than Emma Chamberlain. But, you know, I like it. I don't like the sweater, but it's not her fault. honestly j crew was never for me it's never going to be a sponsor but also it's just like so it's it doesn't make me it looks like i was saying oscar it makes me feel like i'm huge it makes me feel fatter it's like i just feel like i have a lot of fabric a lot of like you said this part is giving us wide stripe at the bottom yes it was a controversial branding campaign because it's literally called the tiny tiny neck brunette whatever i don't even know but the advertising just says tiny which i guess us
Starting point is 00:14:45 triggering. But early on, early text messages always were just also being like, you look so skinny, like in our Instagram stories from like 2022. And then, and then you were like, right before we started shooting, I'm having my boyfriend inject me with Ozempic right away. I was like, oh, my God. Yeah. I didn't even know OZempic was around back in June 2020.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Yeah. You were on it. Damn. Yeah, but we're tiny. Yes. And wearing tiny crew necks and that's that. What kind of converse are those low or high? Because I'm trying to figure out which ones were comfortable.
Starting point is 00:15:15 You didn't answer my survey when I posted out my story. Oh, I didn't even see your survey. Yeah. These are Converse, although Converse is getting canceled right now. Oh. Who is it getting canceled? High or low? First of all, first I was a high or low?
Starting point is 00:15:27 So, anyway, these are been purchased maybe four years ago, so I was not swayed by the bad advertising. Wait, but are they high, I think. Right? Let me see. Pull up your pants. Okay. They're like platform. High costs.
Starting point is 00:15:41 It was this part. I was trying to figure out this high because there's hot. Oh, I see. The pants. Okay. Okay. But why are they? Do we need to know why or does it matter?
Starting point is 00:15:47 Their advertisement had some kind of racist imagery. Oh, what? And I didn't, I just saw one TikTok on it, so I'm not the most educated. But who, I don't know if it was ever figured out, like, was a subliminal message, was it on purpose? It seemed kind of like in your face, not, you know. Really? Yeah. So I think it was a big oversight, but, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I mean, how do the big companies have oversights? Like, it's your huge company. I know. You know how many people it takes. approve anything. That's why I'm like, hmm. Yeah. But I mean, you know, accidents happen for sure.
Starting point is 00:16:21 I would hope it's an accident because I do. It wasn't an accident for somebody there. Somebody was intentional with it. I guess, maybe. I don't know what the thing was, but I mean. The photoshoot that conversed, they had a photoshoot. And in the photo shoot, it just looked like the point of the star created like a white KKK, kind of like figure.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And the person was holding the shoes. So the shoes looked like they were hanging. Oh, oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. So it looks like feet hanging aside away. It's just the placement of everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that's graphic.
Starting point is 00:16:51 That is. Okay, that's bad. No for the Asian. Yeah. All that. Maybe I will not get my high top covers. Your timing is crazy. Oh, is bad.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Oh my God. I know. I think I think I could say she said on that love line. Like a couple of weeks ago when Dan was filming Brandt Save, she was saying how she was just getting an edge year and how she like loves Ed Shears. She had to cut all of it. She got to get to see what was he thinking. What was he thinking?
Starting point is 00:17:15 I had to cut all of it. I was like, yeah. Same with me, though. It's like, I think we talked about Monday, like, clavicular, making, like, the publicity round. Yes. I'm like, well, you know, maybe he's trying to rebrand. He seems nice. He seems like he's trying to do better.
Starting point is 00:17:29 And then literally just, like, convicted that night, that night. I was in my hot topics. Like I said, every week, you either get arrested or get over there. That was crazy. I was, I don't know why you were not more gag. I was like, oh my God. No, he's actually like charged, right? Like, he's actually like.
Starting point is 00:17:41 He's facing, clivicular is facing criminal charges that stem from a civil lawsuit. We talked about a few months ago, which I honestly forgot this happened. That's just how the new cycle is, I guess. But there was a civil lawsuit where a girl alleged that she was given alcohol when she was a minor on stream with him and that he also was like injecting her with drugs allegedly to look smacks her face also on stream. and other claims, and then now he's facing a criminal complaint and criminal charges that he
Starting point is 00:18:22 raped her and gave her substances when she was a minor. Yeah. I mean, those are like really serious. They're very serious, yeah. And he's just like on TMZ, Howie Mandel, just like. Yeah. So I think I would assume his LA press tour has halted after the charges became public. I wanted to assume that.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I know. But also I feel like we need to take. away the fact that like everyone else to credit him with like the maxing and it's like it's just like I love saying we were like beverage maxed yesterday like I love beverage maxing I love like all this I was like it's not his word and I want to like take away that because like it is
Starting point is 00:18:56 cool and it's like we are maxing everything we're like shopping maxing we're doing everything maxing Van Cleef maxing and it's like he didn't come up with that so I don't think we had take away that because it's still a cool word yeah tea and it doesn't have to have a clavicular
Starting point is 00:19:12 he's not looks maxing He did the opposite. He looks dig squeezed. There you go. Jail maxing. He did. We tried to, did we talk about,
Starting point is 00:19:22 like, pinpointing the exact moment when someone's career fault? Did we talk about that? Yes, yes. Who was that? Who were talking about, like,
Starting point is 00:19:28 older YouTubers, like a Tyler Oakley and stuff. And I think the clavicular, we were talking about this coming back from boiling crap, I think the moment that clavicular fell was, because I was like, why is he doing press? And you were like,
Starting point is 00:19:40 maybe just to be relevant again because, like, he's not talked about as much as he was used to. And I think it was like the surgeries, right? Because like, you know his joke. Oh, yeah, very bad. Because you're not looks maxing.
Starting point is 00:19:50 You like did the opposite. You're like, are you okay? What happened to you? You know, so it's like very, very that. So he kind of is. The downfall was quick. Just like a little boo-boo. It was here and gone.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Yes, you're so right. Yeah. Less problematic. Very that. I don't know. I don't know. Oscar was in the middle of a parking lot trying to do Lubu exchanges off Facebook marketplace.

Starting point is 00:21:41 You know I love nostalgia more than anything. I'm always sending Moses like old pictures from like when Malba was born. I'm like, look at the busing. So we were doing that too and I was like, we were talking about the Barbenheimer and like, I wasn't familiar with Oppenheimer. Obviously you were not either because we just thought you were and I was like, and then we look back on the early text messages and I sent a poster back up Barrenheimer and I was like, I must have just Googled it and like love this.
Starting point is 00:22:00 I didn't even know Kelya Murphy was in that. Yes. Because I see him, his son now and then I just see memes of him looking annoyed and everything and I was like, oh, he wasn't, why would people go see that movie? Like, Oppenheimer? He just looks annoyed in every interview he ever does. Killingian Murphy looks annoyed. Like, Margar Rabe is giving.
Starting point is 00:22:18 When she's doing Barbie, she's like, I'm Barbie. Yes. In the Oppenheimer press interviews, he's just like. One of those serious stuffy actors, I guess. People do love a Killion Murphy, though. No, they like love. My whole FYP is Killian Murphy. And again, like, if it was a girl looking annoyed, it would be like,
Starting point is 00:22:36 she's like the worst. Well, yes, yeah. He's constantly pissed. He's constantly ignoring, like, the co-star next to him. He's constantly, like, dazing off. Like, he's just, reporters are asking questions, like, I don't know. Like, he's giving nothing and people like, love this. Killing-Murphy's so silly.
Starting point is 00:22:48 And then if it's, like, a girl, if it's like Dakota Johnson, like, what a bitch. Like, you know what I mean? Like, it's just so, it is crazy. The double standards of this world. I guess I like Killing-Murphy, though. He seems kind of funny, actually. I don't know if I've actually seen Killion Murphy in anything.
Starting point is 00:23:04 The Rachel McAdams' Plain Movie, maybe. That's when I saw it because she was big at the time. She had just done Mean Girls. I don't know. Maybe you don't have seen that. Let me see. I like his name. I do like the name Killian.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I think that's a good name. Oh. What? The one thing I saw him in, the Taylor Swift Opelite music video. Okay. He was? Was he starring?
Starting point is 00:23:22 He had a little role in that because they were all on the, gosh, what is the British talk show? The Graham Norton show. Oh, yes. And then she just invited everyone who was on the Kalsra Thur to be in the music video. He was at the right place of the art. And he did it. And he did.
Starting point is 00:23:37 He did. He did. He did. He did. Oh, he was in the dark show. Dark Night, the Batman movie, the Christopher Nolan one. Which one? Who would he play? He was in Batman Begins and...
Starting point is 00:23:46 I know that's a video game. Who's the Batman? He was Scarecrow and the Dark Night. What? Never heard of that character. Who was the Batman? Christian Bale was Batman. Oh, it's a long time ago.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Yeah. So that's the only thing I've seen, Opelight and Batman. Sounds about right. Okay, I was like, and not Oppenheimer. No, I never saw Oppenheimer. No, no. Just the barb. part of Barbenheimer for me.
Starting point is 00:24:11 But, oh, speaking to Taylor Swift, there is only one pop girl who's going against her, and I think that is so funny. Who? Tricia Pace. Wow. Maybe. People are like, so, she's so brave. Literally.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Wait, why? What did I do? So last week, every single artist, like, there were maybe like over 20 artists who all released their projects last week. And a lot of people were speculating, like, who could possibly be releasing the week of the, the weekend of the 25th, that has made all these artists push to release early. And because it was like Miley Cyrus, Rose. Like everyone was releasing early.
Starting point is 00:24:47 I didn't know. Clearly. And then Taylor announced that she's releasing a new single and The Life of a Showgirl Encore edition. When? It comes out on Friday, the evening of the 25th slash the 26th, right? Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Me and Taylor, who is going? So every artist move of their release. And then, yeah. Damn. All right. 25th. Yeah. So every artist
Starting point is 00:25:12 pushed the release date to the week before and then I see you start to promoting your song and I'm like, oh, the release date is the 25th so the only two pop girls releasing will be
Starting point is 00:25:21 Taylor Swift and Shishabate. All right, girl, it's on. Let's look at those charts. I'm coming for you. Yes, we are releasing. We, it's literally me acting like I'm with like a label or something. I am releasing Punch up the step.
Starting point is 00:25:36 Originally it was supposed to come out today, which is the 20, Third? Yeah. I'm on, I have a segment on America's Got Talent Tonight. So I thought, well, you know, they like to post socials. I don't want to cloud my feed like if I post my video because I spent a lot of time and money on this video.
Starting point is 00:25:53 I'm very proud of it. Then I was going to push it to Friday. Unbeknownst to me, I didn't know, Taylor, so it was supposed to be Friday because, oh, because the podcast comes out Thursday. This comes out Thursday. Oh, by the way, if you're watching this, the music video will premiere right after this episode. That's how, because I was going to be in the chat for this premiere because there's are kind of like a slower day for me. My daughter has dance class and I do Pilates, whatever.
Starting point is 00:26:13 So I have that like chunk of time to be like in the thing. So I was like, and we have a guest. We have a star of my music video coming today. Kevin Wu, which I'm very excited about. Weirdly, you dress as mystery Saja last year. Oh, yes. Kevin Wu's. Yeah. He was in a, he's been a K-pop idol. He was second generation K-pop idol in Yucas. And he was in another band before that or another group before that. And so he's been like a K-pop idol for like, I think from age of 14 to like 27. So he's been around for a while.
Starting point is 00:26:42 And then he got to be Mr. Saja in K. Pop Devin Hunters, which is, my girls were so excited. He sang to them. He sang to them. I wish I was recording the minute they met. Because as soon as Malbu was in the, was it the Miri.
Starting point is 00:26:57 She came with a pink wig. Yeah, I think that's Mary. Her pink wig and then she had the K. Pop Demon Hunter sword. It was so cute. Oh my God. Jimmy reminded me to give me a B-roll because it was so cute. She came in with a sword because I told her that. a sotja boy was gonna be there and she was really excited and you know obviously she's
Starting point is 00:27:13 watches k-pop demon hunters and she hasn't seen like the live singers so um but she like he but he was wearing pink and mystery sada has like purple and yellow so anyways so i think she like went up and she was like excited obviously the music video and all that stuff like but then he started saying so refreshing my little soda pop and she melted oh my god she was like oh my gosh and i think in that moment she like heard it and he his voice was like angelic and beautiful and it was like so cute and um We filmed at the Korea Town Plus. Well, when he could see, we're talking more about it. But, yeah, they had mystery.
Starting point is 00:27:43 They had all the Saja Boy cards. They had mystery Saja, like cards, and he, like, signed him. Not only for my girls, but Ari's daughter, Tony's, like, nieces. And he was so sweet. He was so nice. So it was great. So he's coming later on. But yes, Pontchuk's up is my new K-pop song.
Starting point is 00:27:59 And I'm very excited about it. And, yes, it releases right after this podcast. So go into that live chat. And, you know, see it. See it. Let's see if we can beat Taylor Swift. Let's see if we can get. How do we know who's winning?
Starting point is 00:28:11 How do we like track it? I guess you'll see on iTunes and Billboard, yeah. Is she going to be overall? Is she going to be country pop? K-pop. Well, she won't be K-pop. I'll be number one in K-pop. She blocks you in K-pop.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Golden will still be number one in K-pop, I'm sure. What is she? I think just pop. Overall. Yeah. So I have to compete with her in the overall chart. Oh, yeah. We'll clock it.
Starting point is 00:28:34 And then pop. We'll see. Last time I got kind of high. I was 25 or something in overall. Right? Really high. I feel like I was getting high in the overalls. I think it was 10.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Granted for like 10 hours, but I was there for like a minute, which was very excited. 10? So maybe me and Taylor. Because K-Up was two, right? And then. Who else will be up there with us? Me, Taylor? Langeley and Stella Lefty.
Starting point is 00:28:56 You laugh because they sound the same, right? Like, do you know the difference? No. Exactly. Like what is even happening? Every time we say those names, I'm like, what? Ed Shearing probably won't be up there. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:29:05 No. I think Ella Langley, she beat yeah she officially beat Mariah Carey's record with Choosing Texas the longest number one running song of all time
Starting point is 00:29:17 I don't even know that song sing a little bit He's Choosing Texas So I can tell That's all I know baby I apologize The song comes on At the gym sometimes
Starting point is 00:29:28 My trainer Shout out Alicia She was like I like Ella And I was like okay Okay Yeah I couldn't contribute much To the conversation There's a clip of Doja Cal
Starting point is 00:29:37 she did a podcast and she got asked about Ella Langley and she said what is it Ella Langley and then she had to go on Twitch and then react she didn't balladay she just like watched the video for the first time she was in Texas and she went she has a beautiful voice just not for me and then and that's kind of my T too she's a beautiful boy beautiful gowns beautiful gowns yeah beautiful bangs she has you know bangs and I like her but she's not for me that's what I feel with um like Megan Rooney like I feel like I should like her actually don't know any of her songs but I like and I like her piece and I like her peaches and I like her aesthetic, but it just gives country right away, and I'm just like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:11 But maybe I should get into it. Megan Maroni is a little bit country pop. Like she is... A little Taylor Swifties. A little Taylor Swiftie from early on, early eras. And I was going to say like Kelsey Ballerini, but I doubt you know what Kelsey Ballerini's song. I don't.
Starting point is 00:30:26 She looks cute too. I think these girls definitely look cute and I feel like I should like them, but... Yeah. It's crazy. Just like, I only really hear the song at the gym when it comes on the whatever. playlist. I guess I just don't listen to radio. So I live in a very secular gay pop girl world where like Nicole Kimman from Adela is number
Starting point is 00:30:47 one at the Oscar charts. You know what I'm saying? That's number one everywhere. I really do hear that song everywhere. I was like, I love that song. Are you going to download and stream pottox up? Yes, of course. Have you heard it already?
Starting point is 00:30:58 Only the snippet from when we made TikToks. Oh, that's one. Yeah, yeah. It did get out early. Moses is, Moses is my cyberscurity. He's like, I think this leaked. It was on YouTube. And I didn't even mention it because I like just uploaded it like earlier because again,
Starting point is 00:31:11 I was supposed to come out today and you had saw that. You saw it quick. You saw it within like an hour of someone posting it on YouTube. Not someone. Yeah, because I was like, wait, it's not the music video. And it just had the title. So that somebody got a hold of yours, you know, the sound that they're uploading it. He's like, someone leaked this.
Starting point is 00:31:27 I was like, who's going to look at? I'm the only one. Me and Jaime are sounding like he's up there. He's working with the biggest people. No, but I need the videos so I can download to my phone because the kids always ask to watch it. I know. it's a hit. I know it's a hit because truly okay they did love son-ong-hay and they do listen to it all the time
Starting point is 00:31:40 in the car. But this one we watch the music video and they want to re-watch it literally like a dozen times and I love re-watching my videos. I think five is my max a night. I'm like okay we really need to watch something else because it's five in a row and then my dad comes over like show the video show the video. They do have a little cameo on it too so
Starting point is 00:31:56 that's not why because they were in Holiday Barbie and they don't really care to watch that one. So they love they always put my songs. I've always said that you'll see actually didn't give me a B-roll too. Elvis and Malbut, specifically Elvis, really gets down to this song. She does really fast dancing. She was in kind of a mood when she got there.
Starting point is 00:32:13 And then as soon as a song came on, she was fast dancing. Because when we filmed the music video, it was like probably the one, the hottest day in L.A. And we, and we got there. And then Elvis, you know, she's too. She's in that emotional state. So you walk into a mall. It was hot because I'm in an emaci on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:29 You don't know anyone. You don't know everything. So she was just like not having it. So then we just went to the car to chill for like 30 minutes. say the cookie, a little juice. And then we went back to the mall and we were just like hanging out in coffee shop. The owner of the mall literally would come to us. I didn't know who it was at that moment.
Starting point is 00:32:45 They would come to us, give them cookies, give them drinks and things. No, everyone that worked at that mall, like, were so nice, especially to the kids. They were like so nice. They literally like, do they want cake pops? Do they want this? They were bringing me machas, like just all the time. Like, it was very nice. And I was like, oh, like in between shots.
Starting point is 00:32:59 It was very, very nice. And then we, so then we went down the elevator. The minute we walked out, there was a store, toy store. all the stuff they love, right? So we got some toys. So they had shopping bags. And then we walk and we walk straight into the scene. That's the scene that they were filming.
Starting point is 00:33:14 So when Elvis is standing there like with their shopping bags like they're in the mall. Yeah. That's in the video you'll see. They're watching them dance. But the minute Elvis was queued into, she just like immediately just walked in and started dancing. We have like a five minute clip of her. And there's like how many dancers you had? Like 10, eight.
Starting point is 00:33:32 So like all 10 dancers are around her. And she's just like, I'm one of. you and she was dancing. Even when Kevin came in to dance at the end, she's, Mabu kind of sat out for me. I think she got like shy and then she was just like, cute the music.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Cutting her rug. Yeah, she was having a great time. It was really, really great. Yeah. So I think this is a, I think it's a banker.
Starting point is 00:33:50 I think for sure. We're still working on getting our music on Melon. I just texted Alex this morning. I'm like, how do we get it over there. And I feel like he would know. So hopefully if you are watching in Korea, which they do actually,
Starting point is 00:34:02 what to say, oh, today is one day. So it already air. So yes, I don't know what the outcome is because we're filming this Wednesday, but the AmeriCardt Scott Talent finalist come here who are from Korea. It's like a dance group. They actually knew Sardong-Hay. When they came up, they're like, Sardong-Hay.
Starting point is 00:34:17 So I love them. Shout out everyone that did America'sat Town. But yes, they knew. So they must be able to see it somehow. I don't know. I'm not on Mellon yet, but maybe they saw the YouTube video or TikTok or I don't know. But shout out everyone there. But yes.
Starting point is 00:34:31 All right. Well, I'm very excited. I accept the challenge going against it. I did see your comment. I didn't know what that meant, but I was like, okay. Maybe the outfit. I was like, maybe something is reminding you the bangs. I thought you're like, oh, God.
Starting point is 00:34:41 What is the song? Do you know, Taylor's? It's called Patient Zero. And I guess what we shall see. We shall see. I saw a lyric leak, an alleged lyric leak. Maybe it leaked the same way. You always leaked.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Yeah, just like, put them out. And allegedly, apparently, the song is the vibe of like, girl, if you're, if you're falling for a man, your situation ship is treating you wrong. I've been there too. I've been patient zero, but look at me now. That kind of tease, like. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Which, you know, I can get into. Well, you're already into anything. That's for sure. I will. And I'm already, like, mentally preparing because it's always going to be some discourse. I already saw, I saw one take that was like she's co-opting patient zero, which is what people referred to anyone who. Right?
Starting point is 00:35:28 On the right track, they were like people who contracted AIDS during the AIDS at, uh, the AIDS crisis were called Patient Zero, but I'm like, okay. I mean, that's kind of true. It didn't remember something. It clocks something in my brain. I was like, wait, what is that? Also, every sci-fi movie, there's
Starting point is 00:35:43 patient zero, like, of some... Okay, well, AIDS was a real thing that happens. Here we go. No, no. No, Biden. Well, don't compare to, like, a baling and predator. Like, AIDS is, like, a real patient zero. Who was patient?
Starting point is 00:35:55 I guess we don't need to know. We don't need to disclose that. That's fine. And who cares, it was, right? Damn. why are people looking for someone? Or they just want to know where it originated. I guess I'm not trying to blame that person.
Starting point is 00:36:03 They're just, where do you originate? I guess. Isn't there patient zero and one? I mean. Yeah, and two and three. I don't know. How did the, I don't know. It doesn't matter, I guess.
Starting point is 00:36:11 We're under control now, which is great. And you can. And I think it has just become a figure of speech, you know, like. Oh, you're depending. Oh, yes. I was just trying to defend AIDS. It's okay. You can, you can live with medication before it gets into full blown AIDS.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Very bad. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Seriously. I'm trying to do a PSA for AIDS and you're doing a PSA for TSA for Taylor Swift, so. I don't know, but I guess they're both fine.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Leave both of them alone. That is kind of a crazy name. That is kind of a crazy name for a song, but... I don't think it's that crazy, but work. I mean, because Taylor Swift is so just like wholesome and mainstream, like, it's just kind of a... He's not a crazier song. Controversial, really? Title-wise?
Starting point is 00:36:53 Yeah, yeah. I think it's all perfectly fine. But everyone's going to have something to say, if you're anti-Taylor fan, you're going to find something and that's okay. I've had peace with it because even me, I get it too. Whenever someone tries to moralize their dislike for me they go, and he pretends to be all moral, but
Starting point is 00:37:11 he supports Taylor Swift. I'm like, put me on the cross. I don't know. The songs are good. Okay. He also supports me, so I don't know which one's worse. The moral ground is not Taylor Swift, but we'll take it. But I like that. I was like, yeah, you support Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 00:37:27 It's crazy. It's like, my God. You can't win. Yeah, give a gay a break. That's the national give a gay a break day today. Every damn day should be a night. Everyone has their rough, rough nights, rough patches, rough releases. Last night was dancing with the stars and everyone had a very rough night.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Did you watch? I watched the performances. Yes. Oh, okay. Yes, yes, yeah. Bad, right? Everybody? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I mean, it was rough for a lot of people, right? I kind of like that, though, because, I don't know, it humanized them a little bit. You want to see, I think what happened was everyone was like, oh, we love to see people grow on the show. So I think everyone tried to regress so they couldn't start growing. They're like, okay, let's be bad. And then we're going to wow them next week.
Starting point is 00:39:42 But the problem is, it's like, yeah. Yeah, but then you could be going home. Yeah, true, true, true. The only the frontrunner, I guess, is Ezra the Paralympian. Ezra Fretch. Yeah, not Ezra. With Julia Stiles. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:39:55 as a fresh who i didn't really know much about them and after hearing like i have to edit their interviews and watch all their interviews so hearing him talk i was like he's actually so sweet and charismatic and i actually really love him and he was really great last night yes he did slay yeah i think everyone else like not that exciting i like mora higgins i really like her okay yeah i think she's kind of giving frontrunner wow wow i think so i think so i mean at least top four Like when I say frontrunner, I think like top four or top five. Okay. I don't remember the dance, so I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Who else? I like Sierra Miller. I don't know how far she's going to get, but I like her a lot. I love Sierra Miller too. And Connerwood, I also had to edit his interviews a lot, and he's kind of growing on me. I'm like, wait, I kind of see the vision. You owe him another apology. For what?
Starting point is 00:40:44 Uh-oh. So Connorwood is not married to Brooke. Oh, is he gay? No, they're just. Who's Brooke? They're just friends. Oh, they're just friends? Yeah, like co-workers or something.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Oh. Wait, when did we talk about this? I thought that he has a podcast with her. I thought they were a couple podcasts. No. So, anyway, everyone were correct. Yeah. Wait, so they're not together. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:06 They don't play about Connerwood. Everyone was being like, what is this? When Riley Arnold and Connerwood, they had like a very close face thing at the end of their dance. And I was like, you guys are doing too much. Like, he's married, I thought. She's got her boyfriend like, y'all, they're just acting. But now I'm like, oh, wait. If he's single, then what's the tea?
Starting point is 00:41:26 Who's his partner? Riley Arnold's. Isn't she pregnant? Or she's married? No, that's Whitney. He's married? Whitney. Is she married?
Starting point is 00:41:33 She has a boy... She has either a boyfriend, maybe fiancé. Riley Arnold. Yes, the younger girl. Harry Jousy's former partner. Okay. But I know for sure, and he plays like a sport. Like he plays a...
Starting point is 00:41:46 Some kind of sport. I won't even say what. Okay. Some sports. Sports. Got it. Okay. But, yeah, so I was like, oh,
Starting point is 00:41:55 there's nothing there because he's married and she's got her man. But now I'm like, well, who knows? Now I'm looking a little bit different. Well, that's how you fall in love. I think that's why they don't have like glove and stuff back or even Sasha, who I love, Sasha Barbara, but it's like they end up always dating their partners. And it's like, I think we're kind of over that part of this show is falling in love with your partner. Especially if you're married, a lot of married ones are falling in love and you're just like,
Starting point is 00:42:17 what the hell is happening on dancing with the circus? And Riley and all, I mean, no shade. But Riley, every time, whatever Connor says in the interview, she is cracking up. giggling. She is like, it's like he, whatever he says is the funniest thing in the world. I'm scared. Okay. Well, maybe this.
Starting point is 00:42:30 I try Riley Arnold, but I'm just, I would be a little scared if I was a man. Athletes do it all the time. So she should be able to. A funny guy? Like a funny boy? Yeah, he's giving funny. He's giving cute and charming and I, I do follow him. So I don't think he follows me.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Fipula. Fipula. Shout out. Love. He's got my vote. Connerwood, Fipula. We love you. Yesterday we were talking about Halloween.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Oh, because sports, that's what reminded me of. And Tanna was, like, trying to think of, like, a parody of Sydney-Sweeney sports, which is like, I don't know. I can't think of, like, a good one. She was trying, and that was like, maybe Oscar. I had that, I had that question for you. Then I also had the question, if we dress as Tanna and Trish, what is an iconic Tanna?
Starting point is 00:43:09 Because I'm like, Oscar was pretty good into your lore. So, like, I, the only, like, costume I think of when I think of Tanna is the Team Bryce on God. But, like, is there a more iconic Tanna look? The one that's iconic to me, I might be alone in this, but is her neon, Billy Eilish, era streamies? Is that the streamies? That is so funny. So I literally
Starting point is 00:43:30 sent, oh my God, that's so funny. Later yesterday because I was like I really went home and sat on it and I thought about it because I was like, I really need to do. And then yes. Because she like said that's her most hated look. But I was like I said, let me make sure I'm rushing I think. Oh yeah. I said this is kind of camp. Are you kidding me? Yes. I think that's great. When I think of
Starting point is 00:43:46 Tana, for some reason that is in my head. I don't know why. It's classic Tana with the little glasses, big lashes, blonde hair. Okay, I think I It says TM on it too. It's a custom. That's fierce. Like a custom Gucci.
Starting point is 00:43:59 And it is, is that what? It's based on Billy Elish. Is that what it is? Yeah, that was when she was a big Billy Stan and she was, you know, playing in her purse quite a bit. That is so funny. Okay, so that's a good one. Because I was trying to think of like a Tanna look.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Okay, that's a great one. Yeah. That one comes to mind the fiercest. I'm trying to remember what she wore like at TannaCon and stuff, but. Yeah, see, if you can't remember and you were there. Yeah, T, T, T, T, or almost there. Almost there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:24 So, all right, that could be a good one. I was trying to think we have our Halloween costumes, but I think we have too many Halloween costumes because now I was like, I was only trying to do that last week, and now it's like, it's really the last like two and a half weeks they have Halloween costumes, too many. Yeah, I got a lock in too.
Starting point is 00:44:37 I got a lock in. I really need to be like, next week is October. That's scary. That's insane. Yeah. And in gay Halloween, like if you don't have your costume figured out, end of July, like you're late. Like, for gays, we all got to be locked in.
Starting point is 00:44:52 You can't be showing up on October 31st. figuring out that morning what the hell you're going to wear like you really need to get it together like you need to be ready are you couple of costuming this year um i think so well this is very tritian in the in the sense that i came up with the idea and i'm trying to make darian do it but my couple's costume is professor Xavier and magnito did you do this already no you're I was a bald guy last year so you're thinking of that similar concept I want darian to be the baldy Professor Xavier. And then also I want him to be in the wheelchair.
Starting point is 00:45:26 And then it became a whole discourse. Like, is it problematic for him to be in the wheelchair? Yeah. I don't want to have that. My digital frontprint. I'm like, baby, I'm going to get the wheelchair. You're going to sit. No.
Starting point is 00:45:34 100%. Sorry. It's a costume. It's a costume. Get in the damn wheelchair. Sit your ass down. You can really walk. Okay?
Starting point is 00:45:41 You can really walk, but sit your up in that wheelchair. Why can't he just be standing as Xavier? Because Professor David doesn't. He's crippled. He can't. He can't stand. I feel like you could stand. No, he can't.
Starting point is 00:45:52 He can't. He can't. He's got to sit his ass down in the wheelchair. 100%. Um, okay. But he doesn't want to. He doesn't want to be bald or be in the wheelchair, but somehow I think I'll get my way. So why don't you do it? You love being bald. Because I was just bald last year, so that, that ruins it.
Starting point is 00:46:04 You love being bald. Tanna keeps trying to make us bald too. She wants us to be Steve Jobs. And I was like, okay. And I just seen. You could be, I Justine. And she can be Steve Jobs. That's a great one. She had us matching black shirt and likes to go to Steve Jobs.
Starting point is 00:46:14 She should be bald, she always wants to be bald. She wants to be Dr. Phil. She wants to be another bald person and a, oh, Minions. no no I was like I'll know to this I'm like can we just not be something ugly but she loves to have a little ball movie because I'm really the same because I give the same advice the same all of it it's too funny so are you to pivot no I'm gonna figure out a way to make this happen I have a really good one for me and Moses and I'm really excited but I'm not gonna say it
Starting point is 00:46:42 the problem is like not the problem but it's like oh we don't need to do a couple costume because we're not going anywhere but it's his birthday like three days before Halloween and that's my birthday post every year. It's like us in a couple's costume. So granted, he does never get the say. But do you have an idea? You can pick a couple's costume this year. Do you want to pick one?
Starting point is 00:47:01 Because I did, I guess I could let you pick. Well, I did the Peter Pan and. Oh, yeah. What was it named? Baby Tony. Baby Tony. You really want me that? All right, fine.
Starting point is 00:47:15 We can do that. That's okay. Yeah, we can do it. So you want to be Peter Pan too, because you're being captain. you're being a lot of Pete Brand this year. So we kept in the family costume and then for the couple's costume when we're Peter Pan and Tony.
Starting point is 00:47:24 And then we'll Photoshop up you as Tony to the family. She's talking. What does Tony wear? What's the Tony starter pack? Like what am I, what are my dressed as? What am I wearing?
Starting point is 00:47:37 She kind of wears dresses. She's like Disney bounds a lot. It's more the way she does her hair. Yeah. All right. Man, you really want to do that. Weekend. That's your birthday post.
Starting point is 00:47:45 You as Peter Pan and me as Tony. I would love to see you as Peter Pan. actually that'd be a great one. You can do like an obsession, the movie spin on Peter Pan and baby Tony. So like, yeah, some kind of crossover. Because obsession, everyone's going to do that. But I think if you do baby Tony version of obsession, that's fierce. You have doing like a full movie, like a little trailer for it. I wasn't thinking all that but sure. I was thinking a photo, but yeah. Oh, I know. Because I went Tanna and she's like, okay, we're going to be Tanna and Trish shows.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Okay, so I'll spend the day with the kids and you can go be with Makoa. I was like, oh my God, I'm doing a whole-time video. I guess when she has Kyle, who's like her full-time content creator, she's like, we're going to just do videos of everything. I was like that sounds like a lot of work but sure why not and then she's like I'll text Moses the menu of all the things I was like yeah that actually would kind of eat
Starting point is 00:48:27 oh we can do the new I can be Nathan Fielder and you'll be Elizabeth Holmes That's the couple's costume I mean they're kind of yeah from the new movie where it could be Chris Hanson
Starting point is 00:48:43 That movie is really I mean can be the predator like what do you mean I think you like 824 movies Chris Hansen Nathan Fielder The Predator is crazy That'd be a good one actually Chris Hansen and then like Alien versus Predator Predator with like the big thing That'd actually be kind of a good one that's a great one actually
Starting point is 00:49:05 Okay maybe I mean that trailer to the movie came out and it you're into it It looks like it's going to be an interesting movie 824 is great I love them it's amazing like suddenly they just Talk for them. Every good movie that's out there is them in the last couple of years. And I have a close personal relationship with a 24. They text to me, they're like, here's the trend. I'm going to do a trend for a primetime.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Yeah, we love, we love Robert Pattinson. Do you see the one where he did with his, who's the other co-star that was Jimmy? Skyler. From righteous gemstones. Yes. It begins with G. He's everywhere. Do you see their promo for it?
Starting point is 00:49:44 Yes, they did, they started doing some interviews for. Right. Where they're like, go see primetime. I was like, oh, seated. Skyler Gazondo, Gizondo. Because it's not a lot of press for it, but it's coming out this weekend. Yeah. And I'm having to see.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Are you going to see it? We don't have tickets yet, but I think we will. Darian really wanted to see it as well. It's in limited theaters. Like the one near us doesn't have it. So we'd have to travel in a ways. I haven't even checked, but I do want to see it, actually. I do too.
Starting point is 00:50:13 I really want to see. I don't know how we're going to have time, but I really want to see it this weekend. They need like a little place, like a little daycare inside the movie the actual theater that's actually good idea you know yeah but not like the gym they have a daycare the gym but like our gym's two stories and it's only on the top floor is the gym and then the bottom floor is just the daycare I'm like I don't trust you know what I mean like how the kids not crawl out of the daycare on the first floor somebody is watching them but yeah okay one person to like a bunch of little kids
Starting point is 00:50:42 they probably stand at the door I like the idea of it because like obviously yeah it's cool like to bring kids you know and then go work out I'm talking about a movie theater where it's like you sit in the movie and the kids can just be like in a soundproof area that you can see yeah like and they're playing like a little fish tank you can just yes yes probably not for prime time though I guess I think prime time is probably the one movie you can stream and watch at home and it won't be that no but you can't stream now if we want to talk about it on Monday oh well they should send us early well you know what they invited us go to the screen tonight but I
Starting point is 00:51:18 I thought we had other plans tonight. And then I said, no. And now the tickets are released. I'm like, damn it. I'm so annoyed. We could have gone tonight with the director. But sometimes they send links that you can watch it for reviewing purposes. They did that for the moment.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Maybe they can send me one. Because I'm pressed. Exactly. You're a journalist. We already established you have a YouTube channel. You're journalist. Period. That's right.
Starting point is 00:51:40 All right. Oh my gosh. I'm so excited. Yeah. You really actually want to see the Nathan Fielder movie? You're just saying that. I do. But again, it's one of those movies that, you know,
Starting point is 00:51:48 don't have to watch in the theater. You know, like there's movies that you want to see in the big screen, the sound. I don't think this one is a surround sound. Someone saw him on the street and asked him for a picture. And he said, maybe next time. I was like, that person is not going to run into you again. That's why they want to take a picture with you now. No, but that's why he's giving them like, you know, if the proper, if we meet again, it means we should take a picture. Quentin Tarentino, when people would ask him for a picture, he'd say, how about a handshake? And I was like, well, they wanted a picture. He didn't say that to me. I didn't get a picture to Quintranino, but he would say that to people who wanted a picture with him. And then
Starting point is 00:52:18 goes for the feat or does he well they were men I don't know I didn't get that far I don't maybe I don't know the unwell allegations I know we're both interested about that with unwell allegedly stealing
Starting point is 00:52:36 a whole podcast concept title merch etc is it allegedly if you did it's still alleged because it hasn't been proven in the board of law. So you gotta have to say. Okay. But here's the thing, right? It's like, if I wear
Starting point is 00:52:54 this and I never say anything and someone's like, oh, like, you still I'm a chamberlain. Look. Do you have to say allegedly? It's like, well, no, clearly I did. Like. No, let's look because we don't have to find print of whatever contracts people. No, but like, oh, I see. Okay. So you're saying like it could just very well. People have the same concept. Yeah. Like a gossip podcast.
Starting point is 00:53:14 It could be. Yes. It could be a very slim chance, mind you. But even if there's, you know, that very slim chance, it's still a possibility. It's a brand new podcast about history is just gossip. But there is a podcast that already exists like this two years prior. I guess I will say there's lots of things out there. So is that podcast big? I don't know. Because I know.
Starting point is 00:53:36 So I'm confused. Maybe we'll explain what happened. Did they still a design or did they still from one of their creators? Yes. So Unwell announced that they will be launching a new podcast called Pettycoat Revolution. and it's described as a show where history meets girl talk. And this concept slash program already exists. And it is a top charting history podcast.
Starting point is 00:54:01 And it's the podcast called Right Answers Mostly. And that is also their concept. It's two girls talking about history as if it's like gossip. And they have similar merch taglines and everything. How do you talk about history as if it's like gossip? It's gossip. Imagine us talking about dromed get in,
Starting point is 00:54:23 but talking about the French Revolution. Like Marie Antoinette is Jeffrey Star. Oh, like that bitch Marie Antoinette. Like that? I assume that's what it is. That's that horror. Couldn't keep her leg shut.
Starting point is 00:54:36 And then Hamilton came by that little orphan and he, like that kind of by? I miss, maybe that kind of that. Maybe. I'm just being very specific. I feel like there's not a lot of... Even in history,
Starting point is 00:54:45 there's all kinds of things of people cheating and doing things. you know, like. Oh, right. There is like scandal. I mean, Lim and Wall is the original gossip history because like Hamilton is kind of gossipy. So, I mean, really he kind of is the original. Unless they did it before him, in which case we should also put Lynn and Monroe and Miranda in this conversation because he also did that. Did you, it's so funny when early on in our text messages, me and Oscar from 2022 before the podcast even started, he's like, next time you do muckbangs, you should talk about a true crime story while you eat. I was like, okay, Stephanie Sue.
Starting point is 00:55:10 I know, literally, I think I just discovered Stephanie Sue. I was like, oh, you should do that. I love the advice you were giving me. That was probably good advice. I don't know how good. In retrospect, that was like I just discovered true crime, like, as a genre. This was like 20, 22 maybe. Yeah. And then obviously, now knowing you more, the concept of you covering true crime is a little scary.
Starting point is 00:55:33 While I'm eating. Yes. Got my dominoes. Talking about Lizzie Borden. Was she a lesbian? Was her girl from purple hair? Like, that is a little scary. But you didn't know.
Starting point is 00:55:45 You met while. You were trying to help me grow. You weren't doing much at the time. I was not doing. Maybe try this. Literally anything. I was doing ASMAR and being pregnant. But that just shows you how those things happen.
Starting point is 00:55:57 You know, if they're unwell network sitting and they're like, okay, what new shows we want to launch? Let's see what's trending. Two girls talking about. Yeah. Is that even illegal to do? I'm not defending them, first of all. That's everywhere. That's just how it works.
Starting point is 00:56:10 If there's a show that proves itself to be successful, you just do the same show. Just copy it. It gets a little dicey. With them, it's like super specific, I guess, because like, muck-banging and true crime is like a genre. So that in and of itself, I guess, isn't as specific. This is like, even their taglines. Like, okay, so the unwell show, their tagline is it's not gossip, it's history. And then the tagline for wrong answers only is history is just gossip.
Starting point is 00:56:41 So they're like, it's so similar. And also it's like two girls. The creative is very similar as far as like the photo shoots and everything. And they took down the merch, right? Unwell took down the merch. Yeah. So when Unwell announced this new podcast, Petticoat Revolution, in the photo dump was pictures of the girls wearing the merch, the T-shirts.
Starting point is 00:57:02 And once right answer, sorry, you said the wrong title, right answers mostly, not wrong answers mostly. But once they were in the comments and being like, hello, they ended up editing the photo dump and took out the merch, which also makes you look like. We always say I can't. delete, then you look, you're guilty. Once you delete, you're guilty. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Well, in my opinion. That does sound, yeah. I mean, I guess, yeah, I guess, like, that, like stealing a tagline. You remember our tagline? It's not personal. It's just Trish. No, the one we discovered it in our texts.
Starting point is 00:57:35 Skinny Legend? Skinny Legend only. Oh, Skinny Legend only. I was a great tagline. I love it. And someone, did I say how you said? Someone's like, it's not that problematic. I think it's okay.
Starting point is 00:57:42 I think I, yeah, with me a PR brain from the beginning. So they already had a tagline. They already had merch, which is like, you already have merch for a podcast that doesn't exist. Oh my God. When you put it that way, that is nuts, right? Right? Like, how do you already have a tagline?
Starting point is 00:57:54 How do you already have merge? Like, we don't even know these people. Or do we know them? Are they? I, famous. But that's what happens when it's from the top down. Like, it's not something that organically grew. They're like, oh, we should do merch.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Yeah. They put the whole package together. It's going to be successful. We're going to push it. We're going to make marketing. This is the taglines. So, but there is the possibility that they hired somebody. Right.
Starting point is 00:58:17 And they stole. or were inspired or they ask AI and AI goes out to what's exist and brings you back the goods, you know, and you feel like you haven't stole anything because AI told you, but that's where they go. They go to see what's out there. She always blame AI because you can't sue AI. It's always blamed it. Yet, I mean, at some point. I just got pissed off.
Starting point is 00:58:35 I went to a look at their Instagram. The first guest is Emma Roberts. Oh, from Screen Queens? Yeah. And American Horror Story. Oh, yeah, she's iconic. That's crazy. How is it?
Starting point is 00:58:45 Well. That pissed me off of her. whole day. Your first guest, like your first episode, you have Emma Roberts. Well, it's clearly a machine. I get how. I get Alex Cooper's, you know, pockets were opened up and like, hey, Emma, you want to get on this podcast. But that's also, I think also if you're establishing yourself as a podcast, and we also don't know you, you should probably, me just being mad and jealous. Everything comes from bias with us. If it's the toast, if it's anything. I'm just like, what the hell? Like, yeah. Maybe establish yourself as personality before you go and get Emma Roberts.
Starting point is 00:59:12 And pisses me off too. I know. It's like, what the hell? I was like, oh, that's how it works. Industry plants or unwell plans. I mean, at the end of the day, that's why it sucks to be the face because it's like, everyone's just like, wow, Alex Cooper is still another idea. You know what I mean? And it's like, yeah, it's probably not her. It might not even be unwell. It might even just be AI. It might be like a robot that came up with this, but it's a network show. It's a network show. It's not very higher. Yeah, it already has a bad reputation. Yeah. All I'm saying is like it's not, you know,
Starting point is 00:59:43 the people who are hired, cast it to be host of the show. That's the, that's the difference between this is like old-fashioned radio right there's a network they hire somebody to be the announcer they bring the guest the sponsors the everything that's what it is so and some people like it some people don't happy I don't like the name either usually they have good names at unwell but medical revolution yeah I like right answers mostly I feel like yeah we're just on their title which we should be the name doesn't reflect two girls gossiping about yeah that's not a great title for what their podcast is about
Starting point is 01:00:17 Yeah. But I do, I am in support of them too. We do support them. Oh, right answers mostly. Yeah, but the name is confusing. It doesn't give history. Historical, yeah. The Pentagon Revolution is too on the nose.
Starting point is 01:00:27 Like, okay, we get it. We're in the 1800s. But it's like, yeah, the right answer is only, which you got wrong already. You were said wrong answers only. So people, that's a better name because that's what people say, right, wrong answers only and like captions. It's like named the duo, wrong answer. But that's where we're playing on. I think right answers mostly, like they're talking about history and they get.
Starting point is 01:00:47 most of it right but some stuff they'll get wrong which I can relate to that yeah so I was gonna say right takes mostly exactly you know Connor would wait most of it but he's single not at all yeah literally so hours will be journalism sometimes certain journalism that's a good one occasionally yeah sometimes journalism um well I'm on the right answers only side because it does suck to have an idea be stolen from although I did steal from Anna Nichol Smith and Wendy Williams for this concept. So honestly, I don't know. I think it's one thing to be inspired.
Starting point is 01:01:22 I think it's another thing for a really large corporation to like steal your idea. I think that's where it hurts. It's like Unwell has the money, the lawyers, the power, all that. So like that's what sucks. I saw that recently to a bigger, Forever 21. He's used to do that all the time. They used to like take like small like clothing designers and just totally like knock it off. And it's just like so annoying. There was another one
Starting point is 01:01:42 too where a big brand, I think it happens a lot. Like they steal the ideas. a TikTok or, and like maybe they don't see it, or at least it's someone else that's hired to do it, sees it and gets inspiration for it, but I think when it's like such a large scale and they're getting all that promotion and NEMRAB, which is the first guest, you're like, well...
Starting point is 01:01:57 That really pissed me off from my day, yeah. It should piss them off too because it's just like, well, now they're going to get a ton of viewers and they are going to be known as the gossip. What is it, history gossip? Yeah. But history meets Girl Talk. But it is what's saying? That's the best compliment, the
Starting point is 01:02:12 copying them, like... Oh, imitation is a serious form of flattery. Except when they're making all the money and putting you out of business. No, but I never heard about the other podcast before. So all I'm saying, like now they're known as being the original, the one that everyone copy. And now people will find out about them, hear about them, go to check them out. So it is flattering. They are copying them.
Starting point is 01:02:37 And I'm sure they get more traffic now. Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Maybe you're right. Probably annoying, though. Yeah. I just have someone copy me. I think I told you.
Starting point is 01:02:50 I used to have some copy me. Everything, all my people, all my looks, everything. And it just like, it doesn't get annoying. And I get it. Like obviously I'd love to copy. I'd love to draw inspiration from all different places, but like a little bit from everybody. You know, like a little bit here, a little bit there. You don't have to do like exactly the same and the same people and the same looks and the same thing.
Starting point is 01:03:05 It's just like, all right, damn, you know. Which kind of sounds like this. So I would be annoyed. I think if someone came out with like a just fish podcast and it was the exact same thing about like Blue Squy Squy, same thing about like blue squares or something I'd be like what the hell you know at the big I'd be like maybe a little annoyed and yes I took it from Wendy so it's like if someone comes out with a bling microphone someone has a pink microphone I'm like that's my idea but it's like yeah and if they have like an Oscar and you know I guess it's fine whatever what are I'm literally seen that
Starting point is 01:03:33 happen and that's fine honestly I didn't invent gossiping with a husband and a gay it's fine it's all fine unless you get Emma Roberts if you get a guess I care about or something I like, then your an enemy to me. Yes, instant. Yeah. I also think it's just unwell and we're just kind of have an unwell feeling about them. Like, just everything happening lately with them. We're just kind of like, okay. I know T. Which is bad because I do like Alex Cooper.
Starting point is 01:04:02 I like Alex Cooper, but that's what I'm saying. There is like a little difference even though you can't differentiate it because she's like the face of it. But she always says like her husband's running it. He has the corner office. I'm sure there's other people. I'm sure she's like giving birth. You know what I mean? So she's probably like kind of hands off with all this stuff. She probably doesn't give. You know what I mean? She's like, I'm just collecting this. checks, whatever. So I don't even, yeah, I like Alex Cooper.
Starting point is 01:04:20 I don't know if I love the Unwell Network. Maybe. I do, actually. I think I do. You know, it's so funny. Daryan, we're getting energy drinks at like, I forget where we were. But we were getting energy drinks, 7-Eleven. I don't know, somewhere.
Starting point is 01:04:34 And I got Analani for me, and then he got an unwell drink. And he was like, ooh, like, unwell because Jesse was just on your podcast. And I remember she really wanted to go to the unwell thing. so I was influenced by Jesse from one way. I was like, that's really round about way of thinking. But I was also like, I think it's like going under because it's really bad.
Starting point is 01:04:55 But he was like, no, like I, it sounds good. It says pineapple mango or pineapple coconut. And he was so excited. And then we get in the car, he drinks it. And he's like, this is the saltiest thing I've ever had. No wonder it's going under. I was like, I try to tell you. I'm surprised he got it because I thought it was like pulled.
Starting point is 01:05:08 I thought it was all done and gone for him. Maybe they liquidated a la. Jeffrey Star, a lot of crazy comparison. involved. Maybe they liquidated. Where's he at Dollar Tree? Yeah, so Jeffrey Star cosmetics were found in Dollar Tree. I believe it was an eyeshadow, like a singular eyeshadow shade. It was in Dollar Tree.
Starting point is 01:05:27 And then once this was discovered on TikTok, people ran to Jeffrey, obviously. And Jeffrey said it was AI because he didn't know Dollar Tree had picked up his product. And then he did some research and realized that he had sold some older product to like a liquidation company and then a liquidation company has sold it to like a dollar tree and then they repackaged it and sold the shades individually on their stores. For a dollar?
Starting point is 01:05:53 I believe it was $1.25 if we're being specific. But yeah, that's inflation for you. Was he, what did he say about, indifferent? At first he was like mad at people who were making the claims because he didn't know them to be true so he was blaming AI and then... Always blame AI. That's always the first line of defense.
Starting point is 01:06:12 Anything. I think. Husbands cheating. It was AI. I didn't do that. Like, anytime there's an old clip of me, that's AI. That's not me. Someone made me say that. But then once he did some investigating and found out the lore as to what happened with the product and that it was sold to this liquidation company. The liquidation company sold it to Dollar Tree. Then he was standing 10 toes down for a. He's like, I don't know what was happening. I didn't know. It wasn't me selling it to Dollar Tree. But people keep bringing up. He infamously shaded, I believe Kat Von Dee, when Kat Bondi was in Tj.J. Max. The scyla sponge, circa what?
Starting point is 01:06:46 Two years ago? Like, that is so funny. The fact that they're in the dollar tree now is hilarious. Let's try him. And he shaded another brand that was in Dollar Tree previously. Oh, yeah. That's not working that up. But he has said, his response to that was, I said that nine years
Starting point is 01:07:02 ago. Like, that's not me now. So it was kind of, which, you know, there's that. And I don't think, in general, not just Jeffrey Star. I think a lot of brands, like, I think when Laura maybe or Tati one of the beauty gurus went to Tjamax people were making fun of it
Starting point is 01:07:17 but like I think it just makes it more accessible to more customers and there's nothing wrong with that I love we love Moses got me on this train remember when you first started another thing that he came around to the Water Snake and also Ross there was a Ross I love a Ross Moses did too he got all his shirts at Ross but it's like it was always a little chaotic for me
Starting point is 01:07:34 when I went in there with him like this is the one by bye bye baby I was like oh that one's a little chaotic kind of by you yeah and it's very chaotic but when Moses goes oh my god he found all of Aquaman's new clothes like Disney stuff there like really cute if you never told me that was Ross like I literally thought you got it we do go like Costco and stuff like that but it was so cute all them were like four bucks they're like the cutest thing ever um Tony obviously finds all the cute baby clothes at Tj Max my mom she's
Starting point is 01:07:58 always had to see I like the right I like the eye I like the eye I think I go in I have to see you know when I go to a car it has to be the one on display like if it's not on a mannequin I don't want to I don't want it so but when you bring something back from me from Ross or T.J. Max love it and then when you tell me the price I'm like the best so um yeah there's I think that's kind of a sleigh actually if I did a collaboration I'd want my makeup to only be a dollar because that's kind of cool and you get it for a dollar it's like in this economy it's like mom kind of slay I know I don't think it's like anything bad it's also like his stuff was probably overpriced it's like thank you for making it what it should be
Starting point is 01:08:31 which is not a bad in those shade it's a great commercial if somebody couldn't afford by his cosmetics and now they can afford it and it's actually the cosmetics it's not a fake you're helping so many more people, they're going to be so excited because they always wanted a Jeffrey Star cosmetic and conformed ounce in Dollar Tree. Yeah, I think it's a message, though, to anyone, no matter where you are at life, don't be knocking down anyone who's, like, underneath you because you just, you never know. You never know in that reversal of fortune. I knew that early on when we're talking about the Vanity Fair, octopus lover, Jake's
Starting point is 01:08:58 Jane, being like, they suck at interviewing because I was like, one day. That could be very well me and the pressure and just anything. Yeah, it's like, it's good not to, yeah, judge too harshly. therefore he who judges shall be judged himself. Period. The Bible. I think. From the T's, from what I've seen, your photo shoot for not Loveline,
Starting point is 01:09:18 looked very much Taylor Swift, Patient Zero, actually. Really? What part? There was three setups. What part did we show? The black dresses. Oh, that was Steve Jobs. That was our Steve Jobs.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Yeah. I was giving Taylor Swift Patient Zero. Does she at that? Yeah, that's what she's wearing. We also had one with a bunch of red string. Did you see that? No, I didn't see that one. Tanna, I think she did it.
Starting point is 01:09:38 It was like, calling that love line. It kind of looks like a true crime podcast because it kind of looks like on only murders and building when they piece all the things together. So it was like, what did she have on there? It was definitely like Maliburvy Elvis Aquaman, but she had like Anna Nicole. Like it had all these like things lined up. I don't really know. I didn't really investigate too far. But because it wasn't that.
Starting point is 01:09:56 Then she just brought a car and they put the car inside the studio. It was giving us. It looked like we were going on the canceled tour. We were like in the convertible. I was like, she just loves a convertible shoe. And I was like, it was definitely, I love when she takes over creative vision. I'm just like, she got all the dresses for us, everything, and I just go with it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:10:12 I'm just like, I love, because I always have such a creative vision, but I'm like, I like being a, you should do that. We should have for a Patreon. You guys come up with a photo shoot, creative direct, and we all have to participate in. Although I probably, I hate, I hate giving control over to someone else. I'm like, oh, I don't know. Like, I don't know. But I think we could do that.
Starting point is 01:10:31 I would love to see Moses's idea, too, for a photo shoot. That's why even a Halloween customer, I was so curious to know. Oh, yeah, we already know, Peter Pan, Tony. And you came up with the ideas. Well, I think one of the Halloween costumes were doing was your idea. Oh, yes, yes. The trio? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:45 Do you got yours? I have my wig for our trio costume. I have to get the rest. But I know, conceptually. I got the Zara Larson one working. Jared was like, oh, I know the designer. I was like, oh, my God, can you ask if I can have this? He knows everybody.
Starting point is 01:10:59 He does know everybody. He was the one who got me that picture of the Falls View Casino in Niagara Falls. He's like, I'm here for Charlie. I was like, oh. And he said it to be. me. I was like, love that. Thank you so much. He's, he's boots on the ground. He is the best. He's so sweet. He's always like, yeah. And he styles like literally everybody. He styles, he assists with Charlie X, X, Yax, Adela. Christina. Christina, Gila. Yeah. He is. He's really great.
Starting point is 01:11:22 Demittado. Yeah, he's pretty amazing. And he's just so nice, too. He's like, such a nice person. Yeah, he did my Hacks premiere. And when he came, he got me my favorite little cheese balls from four seasons. He's like, I got these for you. Oh, thank you. That's so nice. Very sweet. Yeah. Um, I guess we can end on and part are once friends of the program, but now turned enemies, because I'm jealous is pretty basic. Getting the whole Disney World sponsorship, you guys. What they are? I know.
Starting point is 01:11:54 I have sent this to you with a quickness. I think I was like one of the first views. Really? It was really early on. I only am like, I had less than 100 likes when I saw it. That's how fresh on the scene it was. And Remini and Alicia announced that Disney World is flying out pretty basic to do a whole podcast. Inside the Park.
Starting point is 01:12:08 inside the park. How does it feel of my dream? I know. I was like heartbroken. I know. I was like, oh, my God. I'm like.
Starting point is 01:12:16 I'll never be Remy nor Alicia. Well, Disney World's, we are coming to Orlando on Christmas December 6. Balls in your court. We could have. We'll take Animal Kingdom. Listen.
Starting point is 01:12:29 We'll take anything. Yes. We will. We can get married there again. We'll get married there again. Right. We have a lot of Disney. We're going to Disney with.
Starting point is 01:12:38 Tiana and Holly, we're going to Disney for our wedding, Orlando will be there. Some girls have all the luck. They really get everything. They're everywhere. They really are. Their Patreon is killing it. It's like, yeah, they do live streams.
Starting point is 01:12:52 I mean, they're really just those girls. They're Hawaii with Bretman Rock right now. Like, there's living the dream. Friends with Lana Del Rey. Oh, my God, you're right. It actually makes me sick how perfect and wonderful they are. Gives us something to strive for. Or a reason to jump out of wind.
Starting point is 01:13:08 I'm kind of on the fence between the two. What did you say today? You said something like, oh, someone called me Chunky. You would tell me. You're like, do you want to jump? I'm like, oh, my God, off the roof. I was like, no, jump them. Oh, I was like, I said, this is,
Starting point is 01:13:22 we'll ask this question to you guys at home. I was like, if someone, because did someone repeat someone calling someone Chunky? Oh, you at the gym? Yes. An ex fling, or a friend of your said an X-Fling called you Chunky? Yeah, I was at the gym. I was talking to my, not oomph,
Starting point is 01:13:38 Imagine a real-life oomph, whatever that is at the gym, acquaintance, I guess. And then I had an ex-fling from like 2018, 2019, go out of me. Oh, you know, Oscar? He's too chunky for me. And then that IRA oomphi came over to me and told me that, and that was pissed. And then I went, cornered him in the locker room and said, did you call me chunky? And then, yeah, the rest is her history. There it is.
Starting point is 01:14:03 And you said, if someone called me, chunky, you would tell me. And I'm like, I don't want to know. But then you're like, you would want to know. And I was like, what's the book? Because I thought it was a bad friend your unfy in real life to be like, oh, that person called Chunky. I'm like, what did that help you at all? Help me jump him, I guess.
Starting point is 01:14:17 But would it matter if he didn't tell you? Like, if he didn't tell you, you would just never have that in your mind. And now you've held on to that because that was three years ago. But I would see this, the guy who called me Chunky, I would see him and not have horrible thoughts about him. But now it gave me peace to like, oh, he's like talking bad about me. Now I can blissfully and willfully wish horrible things upon. But see, that's the problem because when I had my friend say someone was talking about me,
Starting point is 01:14:41 now all I think about constantly is just that person being me to me. Oh, I thought about it all the time too, yeah. And then I thought about all the things I'd rather be fake. I'd rather be like, we love each other, everything's great, like whatever. And now it's just like, damn, they hate me. I love having a grudge. It like fuels me, keeps me motivated. When I'm at the gym and then he doesn't go there anymore, I guess, because I haven't seen him in a couple years, maybe two years.
Starting point is 01:15:02 But when I was there and he was there, it would fuel me. And then I would lift heavier. I would go longer because I was so pissed and wanted to like, I don't know if I can legally say this, but smash his head with like a dumbbell or something, you know. That's crazy. Okay. Well, maybe anger management is in your future because you should be lifting. Sometimes when I do lifts because now I'm back, I'm doing my weight training, sometimes like,
Starting point is 01:15:23 oh, I'm lifting so I can squat better. Period. Moses might be a little TMI. I won't get too graphic, but he did say, ooh, I could feel your abs. I was very athletic and he's like wow I feel the abs oh my god that's major how did you feel him because we're stomach when I was contracting oh no you didn't feel him that way there's no way you could that was then you were just making it up I didn't feel it working like I was contracting them I was feeling your muscles but I don't there's no muscle there it's just fat right
Starting point is 01:15:59 now there's muscle underneath you felt through the fat yeah yeah of course you can feel it I thought you just met because I was like so athletic. You're like, oh, I feel those abs working because I was being so athletic. I was very proud of myself. Okay. That too, but I literally felt them. They're there. Okay.

Starting point is 01:18:05 Kevin Wu was here He was, you were our get You were our, you were like, I was so nervous We weren't gonna get you It would not have worked The video would not have worked without you I was just like, because we needed a real life K-pop idol
Starting point is 01:18:22 And that is you Honor is mine It was so good I got, you know, all the calls from my managers, my team and they told me about it And then I looked through my DMs Because I don't only check my DMs that much Do you not? Yeah, I really don't either.
Starting point is 01:18:36 It's a can of worms. Yeah. Like, why? But then one day I decided to, like, open it, and then you DM me. Did I unsend it or did I keep it? I think you kept it, yeah, yeah. Because I was like, as soon as we, like, let me unsend because I don't want to be. Been there, done that.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me not be weird. Too late. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just kidding. No, no, no. When I saw a DM, wait, is this, I had to double check. Is this the Tricia paid?
Starting point is 01:19:00 Oh, you knew. Yeah, of course I knew. No, but that's not, not everyone knows because it's like, I'm kind of niche. Like I'm gonna be niched. No, stop. No, I was obsessing over, Saranghehah. You knew the song, you knew that too?
Starting point is 01:19:10 Of course. Oh, wait, that's cool. Okay, that's really cool. So, I'm, My hello. Pujiket, me in my mom's so Kyi Sekel-Oh, my God. Like, you, like, sing faster Korean than I do.
Starting point is 01:19:24 Right, really? Yeah. Oh, my God. I feel like I do, I do love. I just love the language so much. It's beautiful. So, I mean, when you reached out for me to be a part of your second Korean, Korean single, I was just like, wow, what a dream.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Because... That's so nice. No, seriously, seriously, because you don't know, like, what kind of... Do you know how popular you are in South Korea? No, I know because I'm not on melon. I keep eating until I'm not on melon and I try to get on melon. Did you know what melon was prior to charting? I did not.
Starting point is 01:19:55 But I was told they were like, you need to get on melon. That is our, like, iTunes, Billboard chart. Like, that is our, like, the chart to be. So how do they know who I am if I'm not on melon? Well, no, they looked you up after... Oh, Saranghe. After Sarangue they saw on social media went viral all over, and then naturally it rises
Starting point is 01:20:17 as it gets viral on social media. Because I was number two on the K-pop charts for 24 hours. That's great. It was crazy. It was insane. You're like a real-life K-pop idol. Oh, my debut at 38. Love that for you.
Starting point is 01:20:33 It was kind of a... everything I was very excited yes um and this is getting very k-pop it is with the heart okay okay so what i have a lot of questions about you but before we get that yes to show you the video last night because it'll premiere right after this i know so excited so okay so every scene was like literally a k-drama scene like i know that was that was the inspo but you nailed it the execution on point okay you were proud of it yeah you were so good too because you never know you're primary like singer-dancer, but you were giving acting. You were giving so much.
Starting point is 01:21:10 Yeah, it was loosely, like, bass. I love, I always taught, believe it, that's my demon. It's like one of my favorite ones on Netflix. And so, it was, have you seen it? Yes. Okay, so I, like, love it so much. And, like, the best part about K-dramas is just the drama of it all. Like, you know... My mom is obsessed with that one. I love it. And it's just, like, always saving someone. I was trying to figure, like, how you saved me
Starting point is 01:21:26 from, like, a train coming at me or pulling me. Like, I was, I had to tone it down a lot. That was actually... I mean, without spending millions of dollars. Yes, yes. This was one of my higher budget once because I really wanted to do so much. Budget was budgeting. It was a high quality music video. Thank you. It was really hot that day. We were at the mall. It was really hot. It was at the KTown Plaza. Ktown Plaza. If you know, you know. And people know. I posted a little clip of us at the escalators yesterday and everyone's like, oh my God, it's the Ketown Plaza.
Starting point is 01:21:51 Yeah, they say KTP. Yes. And I was like, you're at KTP. Because that food core is iconic. So good. And I grew up in that Koreatown Plaza as well. Which I had no idea. You told me the sunset. So you are born in California. San Francisco? Born in Bay Area, but I say San Francisco because I come from like a very small suburb called Danville. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:11 But I, yeah, born and raised here and I wanted to become a K-pop star. Which is so crazy, right? Like you were telling me this on set because I guess I didn't know the lore. Like obviously we told you and my kids, I talked about it pre-game. I know. And you're so adorable. You were so, I wish I had that initial meeting. And they stole the show in the music video.
Starting point is 01:22:29 Literally. Oh, yeah. They had a little dance in there. Yes. And if you guys don't know, Kevin is the voice of Mystery Saja. Ooh. Yeah. As soon as you met Malibu and I was why I wish I was recording, because obviously she knows the voice in Mystery Saja and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:22:43 But as soon as you sang, you're like, so refreshing my little soda pop. And then she, like, melted. And then she was so shy. She was very shy. She was just like, do you want to dance with me? Do you know the Soda Pop dance? And then she would not do it. Which she does all the time.
Starting point is 01:22:58 And specifically Saja Boys does she not every night watching Saja Boys. I'm like, what are you watching? She's like at this age, she's four. She's like a little shy because he's watching like the cute boys. And she's just like, no, don't look. And I was like, wait. So I sent you one at Target. I sent him the clip of you the Saja Boy's T-shirt that she loved.
Starting point is 01:23:12 So, yeah, she was really shy. And she wore the roomy wig. Yes, yes. She had that. And the sword. She came with the sword. Yeah. She was really, really excited.
Starting point is 01:23:20 You were so gracious. You're so nice. Thank you. Especially to like, you know, because you are so known for other things. So the fact that you like lean into that for the little kids was really, really cute. No, I love kids. And especially after K. K-pop Demon Hunters. It's just been
Starting point is 01:23:33 non-stop meeting my new fans. My audience is now five-year-olds. Isn't that crazy? And you're so good with them. Like you sign everyone's mystery sager card. They had them at the mall. At the mall and we bought them. We bought them. We're literally walked in. I wanted you to be like it's him, you know, but they already knew you.
Starting point is 01:23:49 They were like so excited. Like everyone was taking pictures. The boss, he came and he was just like, can I get a photo? The pub at the gym. At the gym, everybody was like freaking out. It felt very cool. I felt like just honored to be kind of like part of you. But no, they were picking out because of her. No, no, no, it's definitely you and I was trying to get out of it.
Starting point is 01:24:06 But then I was like, okay, you too. And then I was like, wow, just K-pop idols here. At the mall meeting our fans. Because we saw like every poster was K-pop Demon Hunters. Yes, it was everywhere. I felt right at home. It is everywhere. It's so crazy. It's like wild to see.
Starting point is 01:24:19 Since doing that, you've been kind of non-stop. It's just been non-stop. But no, like you mentioned, I was aspiring to be a K-pop idol since I was a kid. So I moved. I convinced my mom. to audition in Korea. So when I was 15, I decided to go to Korea, auditioned for a Korean like K-pop label, and they signed me on the spot. So I didn't even have time to come back home to stay by to my friends or family. I just stayed. And then and then fast forward 15 years,
Starting point is 01:24:51 15, 20 years, you know, I come back to the States. So yeah, you were over there for, was it 15 years, 20 years? I lived in Korea for almost 15 years, yeah. And you did two, you were in Youkis, and what was the other band? I was in Yucis. I was also in a group called Sing prior to Uc. It's with X-I-N-G. It's X-I-N-G. You did your research. Well, I did before, and then I was, oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:25:15 Oh, really? Is that the lesser-known one? Yeah, because U-Kis was, like, my major debut. You were blonde. I was blonde. I had many eras. I had, like, my blonde era. I had, like, my wig. I had, like, a Chris Jenner-Bang. You did?
Starting point is 01:25:30 I mean... I didn't see that. I don't even like talking about this, because everyone looks it up on YouTube, but please don't. I don't know, Jimmy will find it, yeah. I see it. No, you look the exact same. When I look at you back in you kiss, I was like, wait, you look the exact same. And I thought I was like, okay, yeah, because you've been around.
Starting point is 01:25:48 I was like, okay, I'm gonna guess, the problem is, especially with K-pop idols, right? It's like they're all so young, right? Like, one-pack did Saronghay dance. That's like, maybe one pack, but I'm like, I'm gonna look like their grandma. I was like, I need how to- And one pack, they know, they know their shit. They're great. Yeah, they do. And they honestly, they were like, they were here.
Starting point is 01:26:01 were touring, but I was like, and then I was like, someone, maybe closer to my age, you are younger than me, but for the record, but I was like, someone closer. But then I saw you, and then I saw you on screen and I was like, I mean, you look like you're 15 now, and I was like, oh my God, not again, so then I'm just like a little meme on in the video. No, no, but no, everyone asked
Starting point is 01:26:17 and I'm like, oh, it's like, it's, it's a skin care, but no, it's genetic. It's genetic. Yeah, I think mom and my dad. So you're not doing like heavy, glass skin routines or anything? I mean, I still do do that. But, yeah. Natural. I'm not. You're very lucky.
Starting point is 01:26:32 You got incredible skin. Oh, no, I aged like leather couch. No, you did not. No, you did not. I am trying more not to be like in the sun so much and stuff like that. Your skin is literally flawless. Well, it is. I will say I do do the glass skin routines.
Starting point is 01:26:45 I love Anua. Not sponsored by any of these. No, no, no. Was sponsored by I, I'lliana at one point, but I love them. But no, I love all these. And they did the K-pop team in Hunter Club. I think we talked about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:56 You did something with Anua? They were great. Did you speak, did you know Korean before you went over to Korea? A little bit. Yeah, I spoke both English and Korean growing up in the household, but not fluent at all. And they were okay with that when you went to Korea. Yeah, yeah, because I'm so young, they knew I was going to pick it up really quickly. You know, when you're at 15, your brain's like a sponge.
Starting point is 01:27:15 Right, right. Yeah, so I learned, I picked it up real quickly, and then I learned Japanese, a little bit of Chinese. Wow. Because in the idle boot camp, literally the training before you debut, you get every training imaginable. Like, you get media training, you get acting, singing, dancing. Those are givens. But, like, they also, like, like, how to tell you how to pose. They tell you how to, like, take photos to post on social media.
Starting point is 01:27:45 Like, it's a whole training. But even back that, I mean, that is a long time ago. So this is kind of a little bit before social media. It was social media, before social media. But we did have Twitter and we had YouTube. And we had our own, like, it. In Korea, we call them fan cafes. So it was like our version of Instagram or whatnot.
Starting point is 01:28:05 Or like Patreon, you have to subscribe to get like photos, like exclusive photos. Were you doing photo cards back then? Yeah. Photo cards were, yeah, it was a thing since day one. Wow. How does the training program work? Like so you got signed and then you got put into the training program before you were placed in a group? Well, we signed the contract and then you go through the training process.
Starting point is 01:28:26 And then there's like a bunch of other kids. In my label, there were maybe like 10 to 15, which is quite small. Yeah. And like Hive, S-N, Y, Y, P, there's like hundreds. Wow. Was Hype back then, too? Hive was not around back then. Because we see that with the Cats Eye show how they kind of did that whole.
Starting point is 01:28:43 Exactly. And that training is intense. Like, diabolical. Like, kids are just like not sleeping. They're literally breaking their backs to make it, to make the cut. So when you see something like Cats Eye, all the members taking like mental health breaks, you're like, I get it. Well, I can't. I need to turn it off.
Starting point is 01:29:00 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get, like, triggered, you know. Yeah, yeah, you're like, it's a lot, because it's so intense. But I will say it paid off because when we, you were so, again, you were like so gracious. A lot of times when you get like another name or a star to be in a music video, a lot of times it's like, okay, well, you can't do extra TikToks, you can't do this. You were like so down. No, I wanted to. Yeah, you're like, I'll learn the dance.
Starting point is 01:29:17 And I was like, really, because I didn't want to even ask you dance. Yes. And we were on a time crunch. And I was like, two minutes. Let's do this, let's knock this dance challenge out. Two minutes to learn the dance to Sparkle Step and Pottchik Step. And he was literally like, did it in, it took me two days to learn this. You did it in literally a minute, learn the query out.
Starting point is 01:29:34 And then the TikTok, we did two takes, done. Nailed it. You know, it takes a K-pop idol training to do that. I never felt less of a K-pop idol next to you. It takes 20 years in the making. And I looked back at the video, and there's people who are fixing the lighting because you guys were changing sets. Oh, no. We will zoom in.
Starting point is 01:29:53 We will zoom in. But like no one, like, care to mention? No, they were kind of like, I don't know what they're doing, just the TikTok. We're not as audits as that. So when we posted, you'll know that there was a set change behind us. I know, there was, it was a lot happening. And it was like the final hour, so the light has changed. Like, we didn't have light on us.
Starting point is 01:30:09 It was just, it was one of us. But it looked raw. It looked, you know, it was giving. And you crushed it. Thank you. And I will say, yeah, you're so right. I mean, obviously, very different perspectives. But, like, when you went over at 15 and you were like, you know, fresh and stuff and learning.
Starting point is 01:30:23 I will say, like, Korean. speakers are so supportive, like when I did Saranghe, like, so many people reviewed it, and they were like, obviously, not perfect pronunciation, obviously, but they were appreciative of trying. And I thought that was really, because I was just trying. Yeah, oh my goodness. Wait, I'm so curious because, like, I think also everyone of, like, my audience should know, what inspired you for Saranget? It really was. The tables off turns. I know. I was like, the TV. This is the media trading. You're like, actually, let me ask you about you, which is, right. No, because I feel like a lot of Korean audiences and K-pop audiences will be so, like, curious to know what, you know, what was the inspo behind this.
Starting point is 01:31:00 Yeah, it really was my kids. I really 100% was my kids. So, K-Po Demon Hunters? It was 100% K-Poombs to start. But I always say this, like, they would watch it on YouTube because they'd just the songs because the movie's a little scary. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:12 Oh, yeah. It's slaying, yeah. They were slaying. They were slaying. Just chopping up demons, yeah. Yeah, it gets a little spooky, but they love the songs. And so what YouTube would do is like, yeah. recommend songs after.
Starting point is 01:31:23 So it did start with like the ones over here. So kind of the, the, the, Apatip, Apat, you know, the Rose. Yeah. BTS. BTS would come in the play, but then it would go to like A.T.'s, Kordas. Like it started going to them. And then, again, I think they just saw the great. I love Atees too.
Starting point is 01:31:37 They're wonderful. So they were starting. So then that started playing. And then some old, older, not old, but like second generation is that what they called? Yeah. There was this girl group. What is it the little piggyes?
Starting point is 01:31:47 Is that what they were called? They were the, do you remember them? Oh, wait. What were they called? The singing piggyies. something they definitely had Piggy's in the title okay and they would pop up and they were like a trio it was a K-pop group maybe in the 90s even and they were like they were like curvier because she knows more than I do now wow well I just
Starting point is 01:32:03 saw them and I was like wait because I never thought I could be a K-pop idol until I saw them because like you know there's not a lot of a plus size K-pop idols but they were they were a little like curvy and I was like wait I like kind of like love this oh wait I do I know who you're talking about yes I know I think I'm getting I definitely know Piggy's and I'm not so it's that but I can't think what it was and then I was kind of like wait and then my kids like loved this music and so I was like because it's fun it's so fun it's just like bubble gum pop yeah and just like the most innocent pure way yes and it's like kid friendly it's family friendly and that's the thing it's like and that's what it is right because if you watch like a
Starting point is 01:32:37 k-pop team it's in english but it has that same sort of feel it's very like early 2000 like girl groups that I would be watching I remember being like oh my gosh and my girls like really loved it I was like maybe I go to this genre of music I love music so I thought so I uh so I uh so was a bit more, yeah, on the PG, more conservative side. Yes, so then my friend who've been doing my music for like 15 years, his name is, he knew Alex Wright, who is, you know, yeah, you know Alex. Yeah, and that was such a coincidence because I've known Alex for almost like 20 years, because I met him when I was in Korea.
Starting point is 01:33:10 Yeah, he's like, oh, I know Kevin and his sister. And I was just like, well, why did you, because when we were trying to think of like K-pop idols, you know, he knows so many and stuff, he was like giving me names. And then I was like, well, why didn't you connect us because I really wanted you? And then it was like, it all ended up working up. But he was great. And yeah, so he... The universe aligned.
Starting point is 01:33:24 Yeah, it was literally every angle. It was great. And so he wrote the song kind of as a favor to like Jaime. But we really clicked. He's the one who taught me all my Korean. So we'd be in there. And he's also Australian. So it's like Australian.
Starting point is 01:33:34 He has that little accent. So I would be hearing sometimes ours at the end. And then I'd be like, so like chambanil. But I was hearing like chambanar. And I was like... So it's R. He's like, no, N-I-L. And I was like, oh, but chamban-nil.
Starting point is 01:33:46 Okay. So I was... But he's great. And he was obviously really, really great. But he taught me all my great. And he was wonderful. So then he was so done. He was happy with the success of Sardang.
Starting point is 01:33:55 He's like, I can write you another one. And I was like, yeah. I mean, obviously we go into it because we love the art and we do it for ourselves. Yeah. Just for the, like, you know, to create art. Yeah. But did you have any idea? It would be this viral.
Starting point is 01:34:09 No. I didn't. I truly didn't. And I'm getting now into like the whole K-pop where I didn't realize. I should realize K-pop is like the biggest thing. And it's having a resurgence. Obviously, BTS. And also thanks to you too with your audience.
Starting point is 01:34:21 No, I think I'm just jumping in it. No, no, no, no, no. We're all contributing. And I appreciate that. And people have been very supportive, like I said, just seeing people like, that are so, like, respected and stuff doing all these, like dancing to it was really, really cool.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Wow. But the lyrics part, like, how did you memorize it? Because, like, for the music, yeah. Because you performed it live, too. Yes, I performed it live. You know what? I practiced my Korean songs more than I practiced my English songs. So I'll do a music video and I'll, like,
Starting point is 01:34:45 last minute, I'll, like, kind of think of the words. Because girl, I can't even memorize English lyrics, you know? It's hard. English is a little hard. As you get older, it's just like, give me a teleprompter. Like, I'm kidding. But sometimes I do need an extra little help. But can I tell you, I messed up freaky at my Royal Everhall show.
Starting point is 01:35:01 And I don't know, I didn't know the words to my, but yeah, but Sardongh, hey, I can still recite. In your sleep. Yeah, I can recite it. It's, it's, and it's also like just knowing, like a lot of the songs use the same verbage, right? Like, hey, I know Suwapsa. Is that what, is that Missy or something? I don't know. And I would repeat it in one.
Starting point is 01:35:18 So now I'm kind of like, oh, I know these words now. You know what I mean? So you kind of like... Yeah, you keep... The similar phrases and words pop up. So you're like, oh, now I recognize that one. Yes. And then Pontchak step, we put Hanna Dool Set,
Starting point is 01:35:29 because that was the only Korean I knew because I did Taekwondo. So I was like, it was, yeah. So it was fun. And I love it so much. It's one of my favorites. But I do love, like, okay, back to you when you're saying that. Oh, no, thank you.
Starting point is 01:35:42 Because you're going back. No, because you're so curious about you. No, thank you for asking. That's so nice. Right away when we met, we just hit it off. And I was just like, oh, I'm so happy because I was nervous. Because when we're together, our energy is just explosive. Because we're just on the same wavelength, girl, right?
Starting point is 01:35:56 We really are. We really are. The day we met, it was just like sparks. Just like, oh. But the stuff, it was just, it really was. And you were just so down, too, which is like, you just never know when, because you are, again, you've been around for so long, but then you've had this like resurgence who came off on, you're at the Oscars.
Starting point is 01:36:10 I mean, you're really just, they're talking about a sequel for it and stuff like that. It's still, like, insane to wrap my head around. It's crazy. amazing by the way. Your suit, you are giving, we're talking in New York Fashion Week, like you are giving, what would you say your career goal is now?
Starting point is 01:36:22 Are you still singing, dancing, acting, modeling? I want to be Trisha Padas. I want to do it all. You've already done it. I want to do it all, girl. No, I mean, I don't really think there's one category
Starting point is 01:36:32 that I'm doing. I'm a content creator. Obviously, I'm a singer. That's like my backbone. But acting has also been such a joy to pursue and to like just work on that craft has been so incredible and it's been an incredible journey as well, especially with
Starting point is 01:36:50 K-pop Demon Hunters, open so many more doors for me. But no, honestly, just doing it all. Yeah, as you should. In 2026, we have to. You can, and you, yeah, have to do it. So you're going back to Korea in like a week, you said. We are, and you are too, right? I don't know if it's still, I'm hoping it still happens.
Starting point is 01:37:05 But yes, because I have a book tour in November that I might coincide with, but I'm still trying to go that last week of October. But it's really pushing it, but I'm really trying. And it was a beauty brand. So I'm like really hoping it works out. But you're away for like a month. I'll be there for like a month. I have a concert with some of my Eukis members.
Starting point is 01:37:22 We formed like a subunit, like a little group called UX1. So we're doing a concert in Japan. Oh my gosh. So we're preparing for that. And then, yeah, my family lives in Seoul too. So visiting family, a little bit of both, work and play. Did your mom and sister just stay over there then when you went over? They just stayed there because you were here in California.
Starting point is 01:37:41 Yeah. And based in L.A., but we're just so international. We're like just constantly back and forth. What is the flight to Korea? What is that time? It's like 10 to 11 hours. Oh, nothing. But the time difference is like, what?
Starting point is 01:37:55 18 or 17 hours? I do know that. It's crazy. I know to post like 5 p.m. because it's like they're getting up or something. Yeah. I'm trying to be on Korea. Which is very smart, very considerate.
Starting point is 01:38:03 You know that when you posted Saddam? Because you posted like 9 p.m. I did. You knew the audience. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I was hoping. I was hoping it would, you know, reach the right audience.
Starting point is 01:38:13 Exactly. I was nervous, though, too, you just never know how to go, but they were very, they were very nice and stuff like that. But so you've been, and you performed to Japan before when you were like in the, so. In your kids, yeah. When I was in my group, we would promote in Japan a lot. So a lot of, you know, my fans are out there. What is, maybe you could tell me I, okay, because like, I thought about doing J-pop first.
Starting point is 01:38:32 I was like, maybe J-pop because I love Japanese. It all coincides. I was going to say, is there a big difference? We're both inspired by each other. Yeah. But the biggest difference, I mean, nowadays it's really hard to tell because we, we, we, we, uh, adapted a lot from J-pop culture and then, you know, vice versa. We kind of like feed off each other's energy.
Starting point is 01:38:52 But I feel like J-pop is a bit more, I mean, there's a lot of anime soundtrack. And because that's such a big thing in Japan, it's a lot of like, it's very fun. It's bouncy, you know, and it's so vivid and colorful and animated. Versus K-pop is very, very sexy. Yes. You know, very, it's giving a lot of things. It's cute and sexy. So I would say that's like the biggest difference.
Starting point is 01:39:17 I want to transition my next K-pop song into like more sexy dark. Because it does get a little dark. Right now you're in your soda pop era. Yeah. And we need to see your idol. Yeah. I love it. You need to see a little darker, promiscuous, Trisha.
Starting point is 01:39:33 Okay, I love it. I think that's where I'm going next. If this is accepted as well. Even if it doesn't, I don't care. Because my kids, again, they truly pick the songs. I would play them because they gave me about five songs to choose from each time. Hey, but kids think it. kids love your idol more than Soto Pop.
Starting point is 01:39:46 Because I've been doing these anime conventions and I meet all these families and fans from all over the world and I constantly ask them, what's your favorite? It's soda pop your idol. I would assume kids would love Soto Pop because it's, you know. It's the big song.
Starting point is 01:40:00 Yeah. But all the kids are obsessed with your idol. Wow. There's something about that song that just lures them in. It's probably like the dark energy. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:10 Well, even in K-pop Team Hunters, I don't even know the other stuff. That's like take down goals. but there's another song they sing, it's like slower, and they like love that one too. Oh, what it sounds like? Yeah, this is what it sounds like. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:20 They love that one. And that's like, it goes hard. Yes, and it's so interesting, like which ones they like and same thing. So I will say Pontch Ex-Dep. I'm not just kidding. I'm not just saying this. They love Sean. Hey, they like, they know all the words also like that.
Starting point is 01:40:31 But Pontch-Ex-Sept they, the video specifically, they ask, and you can attest this. I've had it for a week now. We played it once on the big TV, and then, can we play it again, can play again. They asked for it, and we had to put a cap at five times a night, because they literally want to watch it, like, over and over again at night.
Starting point is 01:40:43 So now we'll finally be on YouTube, they can just rewatch it over and over it. They're your biggest fans. Yes, well, they, and they loved you. They loved you so much. They were like, I think they loved the story, too, because it was giving K-drama, so it's a little more than just fun pop. It's giving romance, giving fantasy, and you were so good. Right now you kind of resemble romance, Saja, because he has, like, the pink reddish hair.
Starting point is 01:41:05 Which Saja was I? I was... Yeah, did you dress up for Halloween? We were Saja Boys. He was mystery. I was. He were mystery. Two mysteries in the house.
Starting point is 01:41:13 Why did you think mystery? That's an interesting one. Why did I? The wig. The wig, yeah. It's iconic. He loved being hidden. And I love that you dress, like, you kind of like do, not like a cosplay, but you do like the yellow with the purple vest.
Starting point is 01:41:26 I do love it. I don't know which one. Baby. I was baby. Oh, baby is, yeah. That's really popular, too. Their father daughter dance is K-pop demon hunters. It's coming next week.
Starting point is 01:41:33 And the theme is to K-pop demon hunters, which is crazy. Oh my God. When we saw that, we're like, that is so odd, it's so bizarre. So you're going to wear, you were the one with the floral. Abby. Abby, yes, yes. He wanted to be the one with... You working on your abs?
Starting point is 01:41:45 You have... He has been... The popcorn eyes. The popcorn eyes. He wanted to be the one with the black hair, but I was like, oh, that's just too, that's too common. I like the ones with the colorful hair and stuff like that. Okay, so, and now, so then you'll be over there, and then when you come back, you'll be back here for the holidays. Yeah, back for the holidays.
Starting point is 01:42:00 And you spend time here, and I like... I actually don't know what I... I don't have any plans. I actually don't know what I'm doing next to. week. My life is just all over the place. It is crazy. How was New York Fashion Week? Because you went from the shoot search in New York Fashion Week. True, true. Um, New York Fashion, it was my first New York Fashion Week. It was insane. Like, back to back. Like, I don't know. Because just like being in New York is a lot. Yeah. Energy is a lot. But New York Fashion Week
Starting point is 01:42:22 energy is just on another level. Insane. Because like, I was barely sleeping. Like, to get to point A to B is like, there's so much traffic. Sometimes you just have to take the subway. I can imagine. And like you're in full glam. Did you subway? Sometimes I did. Yeah. Oh my God. Because you wear like crystals on your jackets. A lot of people were doing that.
Starting point is 01:42:41 Okay. People like girls with heels and dresses. On the subway? Yeah. You lived in New York for a little bit too, right? I did. I was on a Broadway show called K-pop. I did every K-pop project.
Starting point is 01:42:51 I love that. From the Broadway show to K-Pops the movie with Anderson Pack, which is not on Netflix. Oh, okay. Was it based on? No, it's an original story. And it's just called K-Pops. It's just called K-Pops. Because Anderson Pack, he is a dad.
Starting point is 01:43:05 And he has his real-life son in it too. So it's K-pop's father. So you are acting your drink. I love it. And I love that you're not like shying away from it. You know, I think some people probably want to be like, I'm going to break free from something else and not to stick with the K-pop. No, I'm embracing it.
Starting point is 01:43:18 As you should, because it is the biggest thing in the world. But I play a villain in it. So I have like platinum blonde hair. It wasn't a wig. I had to bleach it. And I play the number one idol in this competition show that his real-life son is auditioning for. but I'm like a, yeah, a very
Starting point is 01:43:37 cocky, like very narcissistic evil idol. You're so bubbly and sweet. Oh my, okay, so actor. You're like acting. Yeah, check it out, check it out. Wait, I didn't know this. Oh, I'm like your biggest fan.
Starting point is 01:43:48 I literally watch everything you do. So now I'm like, that's on the list for sure. Same. Literally same. Also because you're just such a nice human. Like, you know, you're doing all this stuff and you're actually just like so nice and you were like just so sweet
Starting point is 01:43:58 and wonderful. Thank you, thank you. That is so wild. So you spent most of your life performing. Performing. There's no plan B. Touring. And then after Capo of Demon Hunters, it was just like, I haven't been
Starting point is 01:44:11 this busy in my, I mean, I've been busier during my K-pop days. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, yeah, ever since I left the group, it's been the busiest, which is such a blessing. Honestly, it's been a year, and the fandom is just only
Starting point is 01:44:26 growing. It's crazy, yeah, and then they're discovering, are you doing solo music now? I am, yeah. So music has been kind of like, my focus these days. Do you have a solo album out? Not a solo album. I've released singles you know, time to time, but right now I'm just like focused on getting more music out.
Starting point is 01:44:43 I just released a single called Ain't No Party. I released that in the summer, like in July. Super fun. It's giving like Bruno Mars meets like Justin Timberlake. Do you sing a little? My voice is kind of like dead right now. You don't have to if you don't want to. I know. People are like... But I'll do a little bit. Yeah. It's really sure. It's like, ain't no party.
Starting point is 01:45:02 here without you. Ooh, ooh, uh, without you. Yeah, it's fine, it's fun. Yeah, your voice is beautiful. It's like husky right now,
Starting point is 01:45:11 but I kind of, I kind of like it. It's getting a rasping. It gets a texture, yeah. Your voice is like butter. When you were singing the soda pop to Malibu, I was just like, oh my God,
Starting point is 01:45:18 like it's so surreal to hear. Do you hear anything about a sequel? Ooh, I mean, the sequel is in the works as we speak. Maggie is working on it, but no, nobody nobody in the cast
Starting point is 01:45:31 or creatives knows any, It's all in her. Okay. It's like, nobody knows. No songs you ever heard. No. What was the fate of Mystery Saja in the first one? Did he end up going back to demons?
Starting point is 01:45:40 Well, Zoe does, like, they slash him and then he's like slayed and he gets dissipates. But who knows? Okay. They're demons and come back. Exactly. Yeah. They're always, they're constantly with us. That's so funny because I was trying to think.
Starting point is 01:45:55 I was like, okay, where it's at. Well, you are so busy and I really appreciate you. Are you going to do a podcast because you're so good at talking to? No. I mean, so I was going to start a K-pop podcast and just kind of like invite a lot of my K-pop friends and not even just K-pop idols, but just like anyone who's interested in K-pop and just kind of like rambled on about what we love about K-pop. But then life, you know, I was doing music and then I was shooting movies and then I got
Starting point is 01:46:23 cast on Broadway so I moved to New York. So like I just wasn't in one place enough to, you know, start a podcast because it's a big commitment. Yeah, we always find that out too It's just like, oh, the way the travel You just have to move things around It's like really, it is really hard That's why we do it out of our house Which is like so wonderful
Starting point is 01:46:38 If you could do a little branding of your own The BTS had their McDonald's meal What would be your spinoff? It could be toys, it could be anything So speaking of McDonald's like, you know, Happy Meals and Toys The Sajab boys and Huntricks had our Yes
Starting point is 01:46:52 We did get that, yes We got it. Yes, we got it for breakfast Breakfast meal And then we had to go get the Huntricks at lunch Yeah, yeah, yeah And they made like a a special, like, demon sauce for us.
Starting point is 01:47:04 Like, it was purple. That was wild. It was wild. Oh, that's right. So you've had your McDonald's meal. Oh, my God. And then we had our, like, breakfast, like, McMuffin with our spicy sauce.
Starting point is 01:47:15 It was spicy, yeah. So I loved how they, you know, paid homage to, like, Korean food and spices. Oh, that's true. They did it different because I think BTS was just, like, a little honey sauce or something like that. Something, yeah. Yeah, it's a little different.
Starting point is 01:47:26 But their figurines were cute, though. Yeah. Oh, I loved it. Yeah. The photo cards were great. But for me, For me, I don't know. What's a Kevin Wu?
Starting point is 01:47:34 Like, what's something that you love and use regularly? Like, you're like, I should be the face of this. Ooh. Okay, so I do use a lot of MediCube. So maybe my own Kevin Wu device. I'm supposed they haven't already. Right? MediCube.
Starting point is 01:47:48 Come on. I love the neck one. And I'm not sponsored at all. I just love the neck firming one. We just love it. It's the best. Which one do you use? I mean, I use the booster pro.
Starting point is 01:47:57 And then they just came out with X2, which is like a bigger one, has more features. Oh my gosh. Gosh. But no, it's literally a magic wand. It is like the way it like moves your muscles and contracts it. It's like this one that you move around like this. You feel it. When you rub it, the device on your skin, you feel your muscles like move like just kind of like it.
Starting point is 01:48:18 It does the work by itself. And so obviously our faces, like our face has so many muscles. So like every other muscle in our body, we need to work it out. Yeah. And when we smile, we only use a part of it, but we need to be. to exercise every muscle. And that's how you tighten your muscles in your face to prevent from drooping. Oh my gosh. I didn't know that. I have to use that. Yeah. I was thinking, yeah, the whole Korean beauty has really taken over like TikTok. When you go over there, do you get any, because, you know,
Starting point is 01:48:45 the work and stuff like that over there is beautiful and it's like less expensive than here. Do you get anything? Of course. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. What did they have color? You know, it's maintenance. You know, at this point, you know, as I'm getting older, it's just like, you know, I don't do too much. Yeah. But, you know, just. Skin treatment. Yeah. I want to do this. like lip tint they do over there. Have you seen that where they like make your lips like a little pinker so that we just always have like a little glow to it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, um, but also like, you know, for Medicare Qaeda, like the devices, there's a little cap you put on. Yes. To protect the, the surface. Maybe like a Kevin Wu, like, character face. That's so cute. You should be on stuff just as you. Because we do like Mystery Saja, but also you're just like so cute. I think that's why like Malibu was like so like, oh my gosh, because you just look. What about your glasses? Ooh, these are gentle monster.
Starting point is 01:49:32 Yes. Oh, wait, what is Gentle Monster? You should be the face of Gentle Monster. So Jenny from Black Pink was the face of Gentle Monster, and she was like the whole face and branding of it, and she's like so cool. Yeah, yeah, of course. The best.
Starting point is 01:49:44 But, no, they make the coolest designs, like very modern, futuristic. If you go to their stores, it's like an art exhibition. Oh, I never seen. There's one in West Hollywood. Yeah. We should go together. Okay.
Starting point is 01:49:58 Yeah. Once you get a poster there, I'm gonna be like, oh my god, I know him. Once I have my own Gentle Monster collab. Because this is giving. Thank you. You're influencing me. Yeah, you're a glasses wear.
Starting point is 01:50:07 Am I influencing? Yeah, you are. You influence everything. Every time you see anything on your thing. You have the cover of Rolling Stone recently. Rolling Stone, yes. Yeah, you're really kind of everywhere. It's really remarkable to see.
Starting point is 01:50:18 And I just trying to catch up with Trisha, you know. I'm gonna say that all day. You really have me up. You really have me up. Well, thank you. I appreciate that. You know, Pontech Step is coming. As As we told me earlier,
Starting point is 01:50:30 everyone held their music releases. They all went early last, like Adela. They all did their music early because Taylor Swift is releasing music on Friday. So we're going against Taylor Swift. Oh my God. But Adela is having her moment. Adele, you love. Nicole Kidman.
Starting point is 01:50:43 So good. On repeat. Oh, my God. So good. It's that sitting right? Yeah. But before we go, I want to like talk about the music video because it's coming out. Yes.
Starting point is 01:50:53 Now, right after this. Right after this. Okay. So what's your favorite scene? I'll tell you my favorite scene. Okay. Okay, okay, okay, you go first. Or you want me to go first?
Starting point is 01:51:03 You can go first. I will say, just because it does live out my K-drama fantasy, I loved hanging off a cliff. Yeah. That was what I was going to say. That was so fun. And I was like weirdly nervous. I was like, oh my God, I got butterflies.
Starting point is 01:51:17 You look full, like gorgeous. That angle of you like holding on. Right? Is that the thumbnail? It should be. It should be. I think it will be. Because you had the challenge.
Starting point is 01:51:29 because you were lifting me, so now they do an up angle, but you still slayed and looked so good. Thank you. You looked great from every angle. The little, like, slow motions, everyone I showed it to. Because that's, like,
Starting point is 01:51:38 every cave drama moment to, like, say something, like a danceal in distress, you know? Oh, so you kind of knew the genre. Of course, okay. I was just like, oh, okay, I don't know if you do. No, but I love that scene.
Starting point is 01:51:48 I mean, it was so good. You weren't giving. It was even better. I did originally, like, I remember I DMed, is, I think his name Song King? I think he's the one who says. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:56 And I was like, maybe he'll be in the 20 million followers. I was, I don't think, if you're not reading my DM, I don't think he's reading it either. So I was like, okay, maybe not that. But then you. Fair enough, fair enough. Not offended. No, no, no. Go for Song Guy.
Starting point is 01:52:09 I want to meet Song Guy. No, only because that was like the inspo, but then I was realizing like, because me, I'm watching this. And I'm like, no one here, like, knew what I was like, maybe it's niche. And then I realized he's like the most famous person. I love how we're both bandgrowing over K dramas. I know, because I do. I mean, everyone in there. We need Songgong in the music video.
Starting point is 01:52:28 I will be there to be your best supporter. He's also in Korea, so I would have to like maybe, you know, it's a whole thing. So it was great. Also when you were in L.A., I was like that kind of worked out great. Perfect, perfect. But yeah, that was my favorite. I love our moment where I save you and I'm just like, take you in my arms. And you're just like, a little sleep, a little, yeah.
Starting point is 01:52:45 It's my dream. That was my dream sequence. Now I was supposed to be waking up. But also the hospital moment was very fun to shoot. I was giggling my ass off. Did you like it? Because you're just such a natural. talent. Like, you just have so,
Starting point is 01:52:58 you're just so funny, too. That's not. Just like, oh, wake up. Oh, oh, wait. And then I bring you up and I don't know, you should be, you're, yeah, you need to go to surgery. Go back. Just so many facial expressions and emotions in like a split second. Yes.
Starting point is 01:53:13 You're like, you were just like. Well, we had a split second to get that scene. It was very, it was only like eight counts or something that was really, really short. Well, that's a very classic. Like, I watched other K-traamas because Netflix has a whole K-drama section show. I know that's like a staple. Yeah, like a hot sexy dog. Yeah, sometimes they're like in the bed But I was like, I wanted you to be the doctor
Starting point is 01:53:29 And then we had Rachel and Jay Who are influencers Yeah, love them Yeah, oh yeah, you knew Jay which was so crazy And they, yeah, they also, he's saying Saranghe, within like eight hours of me releasing it He like, so that's how I discovered them Shout out to Jay, like wow
Starting point is 01:53:44 It was, he like knew all the words He's saying so beautiful, I was like, what is happening? Like, oh my God, it's so good So then they flew from Korea to be in the video Which is really nice So it was cool So they were in that scene They have like a little cameo on that scene
Starting point is 01:53:54 That was really fun And then obviously the dance choreo scene with all your dancers in your bedroom on your bed Like the pillow fight scene it was giving very much K-pop Yeah I wanted it to be fun and then of course the yeah the Ketown Plaza obviously with the food court The Mokbong scene I wish I was a little longer but but no I love the it was because it doesn't fit in Saarang Hey too everyone was like why is she eating in the middle of it I love how random it is it's because it's also my little tie to Korean culture was I did muckbangs and I always and I was always and I was always inspired by obviously they did it in Korea first the girls would be live and getting money to eat in like 2011 so I thought that was my little time is muckbang a real Korean word Mugbang is a word yeah what does it mean it means Mungnen pang so eating a TV show
Starting point is 01:54:39 so and then we shorten it like like an acronym so Mokbong is that how you pronounce it because I and everyone's like do you do mokbeng yeah like you know but Mokbang is the correct pronunciation and what's the full term you said mongnen bong my next song Mungon Oh, wow, perfect. Okay, okay. When I did the BuzzFeed thing, well, I won't give too much way. When I did the Budzine, it was trying Korean foods. And it was so sweet because they were like giving me all like these Korean terms and stuff. And people are just so encouraging.
Starting point is 01:55:08 That's what I'll say. Like Korean speakers are so encouraging. And you're texting me that day because I did the same thing when I was promoting K-Bel of Demon Hunters. When I was showing him the video and like, oh, we had Kevin Wu. He was in the exact same stage. It was huge and like in the exact same stage. And I was like, oh my God, I want a small word. And then I texted you because everyone loves you and everyone knows you.
Starting point is 01:55:24 Well, we should show, should I show you. Do you want to see it? Yes, I want to see it. Yeah, let's show Oscar. And what is your favorite Korean food? Okay, so I guess to try. I want to say it on a kind of three, maybe we might have. Okay, hold on, wait, let me think,
Starting point is 01:55:33 because I got to try so many, also at the food court, but also at BuzzFeed, I got to try so many new ones. Okay, hold up, gosh, um, wait, hold on. It's, um, let me, I want to get the name right. I know what it was. Okay. Okay, hold on. I asked too many, so I'm trying to, I want to, like, kick one.
Starting point is 01:55:49 I'm gonna say it wrong. Shoot, okay, I don't think. One, two, three. Duk-boki! Why are we twins? That is crazy. We had our favorite scene, like the same one. Now we have the same favorite food.
Starting point is 01:56:02 Yes. What is it? Are we like, kind of kind of, kind of, I think we're like the same. Are we like? It's like, okay, so it's kind of, to me at first, it's like lasagna. Where's my pink wig? Someone. We got those.
Starting point is 01:56:12 We have some. I'll call Malibu to get her merry wig in here. Um, it's kind of like how you describe. It's like, it's like a soup bowl, but it's like lasagna. Yeah. And it has like the rice cakes. It's chewy. It's like mochi.
Starting point is 01:56:22 Might have some fish in it. Yeah. Yeah. has the fish cakes and the rice cakes. Yes, and then was there a little sausage maybe? There might have no sausage, yeah. And then they put mando, the dumplings in there. Yes.
Starting point is 01:56:31 And then what I love to do is put some ramen noodles in there. And it's like, yeah. But you couldn't make it however you want it to be. It was good. It's spicy. Are you okay with spice? It was so weird. I couldn't taste any of the spice.
Starting point is 01:56:43 Like it's spicy and I couldn't taste any of the spice. You are Korean. Thank you. I'll take it. It's like, reveal yourself. I'm like, I'm Korean. Oh my God, I know, like a DNA test or something. I've never actually done one because I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:56:54 know anything about my heritage. And I was like, oh my God, would that be crazy? I don't know, maybe not. We should manifest singing Panchex Step together in Korea. Live. In Korea? Or, I mean, ideally in Korea, but anywhere. Yeah, I would love. At the Ketown Plaza, he said, at the Ketown Plaza. He said, if you want to come back, we have a stage. I was like, we'll sing there. That would be great. Do you know the words?
Starting point is 01:57:14 Pondack step. Panchak step, punch step. Pach step. No one not. Tonopi. A ton of pee. Pantek step. Panchek step. I promise Karak Chaiwa
Starting point is 01:57:27 Yeah, that's where it is. I mean, I would love. I need a teleprositor, no. We'll show Oscar because he hasn't seen it. No, yeah, show me, show me, show me. Okay, everybody hears the content about. All right, three, two, one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:47 Gorgeous. Love the hair too. It just so, like, flowy and... Jay. Yeah, that's a handsome man. I'm just kidding. No, you weren't. We're like, whoo.
Starting point is 01:58:06 Oh yeah. You get sucked into the drama world. Wake up, wake up. Where are we? Oh! Dr. Hattie comes in. We got handsome. Oh, thank you.
Starting point is 01:58:18 No, I couldn't stop telling you that. But yeah. It was like so good. They were amazing. And it just looks like they're having a great time. And they were. They were, to be honest. They were excited to see you.
Starting point is 01:58:37 They had a long day. They were 16 hours. Oh. Because when I first, our first scene was, us running into each other at the Ketown Plaza. Yes, yes, and the girls swarmed you. And they were fan-girling, and then we were doing like a mini meet and greet. They were like, wait, like it.
Starting point is 01:58:52 I was like young me-mee. I wouldn't have been there. Oh, our favorite scene. Yeah, here it goes. Oh, wait, why did I go down? Sorry. The CGI in this is like, it's crazy. Like, ah. And I love like my just like tea, like giving James Dean, but K-pop James Dean.
Starting point is 01:59:13 It was. It was. Kevin Dean. Yes, aw. Oh, I love that. I love you, right? You were so good too, you were so serious. Thank you. Oh, so spot on. Yes. I'm, I still know the dance. I mean, that's amazing. Yeah. I learned it.
Starting point is 01:59:41 I'm checking step. A little shike. I know. What are we doing here? Oh, oh. She's like, and you're like, I watched it. That was our first scene, yeah. That was the first scene. It was so much fun. And we didn't close the whole mall down. There was people filming. But there was, but there was.
Starting point is 02:00:10 were just like bypassers just like taking content. They were excited to see you. They're like, wait a minute, what? Yeah. It was open. But we shut it down. We literally shut it down. Yep, we're excited.
Starting point is 02:00:21 So iconic. Bellevue and Elvis. Elvis. Yes. I love the colors of the arcade. Right. Muckbang. Yes.
Starting point is 02:00:37 Mokbang. Oh. That's so cute. We finally got our ending shot. Our ending fairy. Yes. But it was all a dream. It was all a dream.
Starting point is 02:00:46 It was just a TV show where it's just a TV show where it's a Or a sequel right here. Or maybe you live in the TV. Oh, that's what we are right now. We're inside the TV. Oh, we are in your screen. Hello, out to the TV. Thank you so much for me.
Starting point is 02:00:58 Ending Fairy, that's what it's called, right? Ending Fair. We should end it with an ending fairy. But see how to end it and I was like, wait, what's ending here? Because I'm new. I'm still new to the K-pop world. Ending Ferry! You're watching Just Trish by Jack.
Starting point is 02:01:09 Day! And that awkward like three second pause. Oh. I love you too. Thank you so much. So, my.
