You're only taking away, what, like 11 like 11 people 24 12 districts to each times two okay um yeah that doesn't seem like that crazy like think about like here in the united states if they take someone from each state two people from each state you're not losing that many people 100 kids children i mean the kids is wild and to me that's what i don't like about these movies

I'm going to tell you, it is the weirdest year. Moses can attest to this. Like so many people were like calling me like private companies, even like big companies, like Symphonic, all these things like that were calling to like buy this song. First, they like offered the whole catalog. And I was just like, no, like it's not my hope. And then they're like, I love you, Jesus. We'll pay the same amount for just that song.

I don't know if she's just really like out of touch or she's always been this way because people say like she comes from money. So maybe like if you like come from

I I don't know maybe I could be wrong but regardless she just seems so unlikable it was what interview this was a podcast we know what podcast it was oh I had it it was two guys there was a lot first I guess the littler one is uh complaining about people copying her editing style and we talked about this a little bit with like the Corinna and Brecky situation just like people copying in general and she's just like it's so annoying when people copy. But I just feel like as her editing style – was it that – I know you said you like did Emma's style editing. But to me, when I watched those – because I went to go watch her early videos and I was like, is that innovative? Like the zoom in?

Like I feel like that's been on like Comedy Central shows and stuff where people like zoom in really quick in and out and stuff like that. So I don't think – unless I'm missing something on the editing. Because she's like, wow, it was crazy when When people copy me, it like gets to be annoying. And I was like, what is it? What is it about your editing that you think is like so, I know you talked about it. So I know you're a fan and you said you like the editing. So maybe you can explain it to me because I was like kind of confused. I was like.

It's nothing like that was cutting edge. It was like the Ken Burns like in out and she would do like a lot of these like distortion filters to make her head look bigger or stuff like that. It's been around, but I think she just, like – Popularized it. Popularized it again. Made it trendy again, basically. Right.

Do you think she was talking about you when she said someone copied her? She was, like, so mad about it. She's like, yeah, people just copy me. Everyone in the search bar on TikTok thought it was Antonio Garza. Yeah. When I think of that, I think of Antonio Garza, yeah. But Antonio also did her own, like, spin on the edits too. Like, she took some of the Emma-isms but then made it her own, which I think I can respect.

Because Antonio's editing style was a little bit similar effects, but it just was different. She made it a little bit more unique. And just different content, though, too. It's not like the same content. It was similar. Like vlogs. But not like going to fast food and finding vegan food at fast food restaurants. Or like coffee and stuff.

Yeah. I was like, hey. There was a big controversy when Antonio was coming out at the same time as Emma, I remember. Oh my God. Antonio had to deal with that a lot. I think the copying thing is like weird. It's kind of like – as far as like why do you like care that much if someone is copying you? Kim Kardashian has been copying me for the past three months and I'm fine with it.

You know, I'm not calling her out every day over it. But just in general, we talked about it last episode and it was just like I've had people like actually copy me straight up and I'm just like, I don't know. I guess I copy people and like that's just how it is and I think even if you copy someone, there's two things. One, like if Emma is like Emma and iconic, like no one can be at that level. So like there's that level where like no one's going to be up to your level even if they try to copy you. Two, copycats always just look like copycats. But three, also it's like, and I think Emma said this in the interview, it's like it is flattering. Like people

you're constantly right like i support my boyfriend because he's in grad school and my parents because i like my dad doesn't work so it like it would stress me out to see what the actual number is i'd rather just like work and know that money's coming in and know that everyone can but don't you want to make sure the money is there what if someone took money out of your account and then you have a three thousand dollar i only have i'm the only one with access to my guy and i get like an alert if there's a big like uh charge or withdrawal or something so i get like a text alert but sometimes people can take your debit card like i just had one like recently like just a random like party planning

company took six hundred dollars out and i didn't get a fraud alert on it or anything but it's just like six hundred dollars taken out and so like of course i check in the morning so i'm calling right away and i was like i don't know who this is but give me a new card that never happened to you you never get fraud i do but i get a call like that happens to me like someone some random gas station in New York had my like card but I got and they call you

for every one because sometimes they start little like they're trying to get seven dollars out of it or something even for little ones

I have one business manager and it's just like, and more like a bookkeeper, like an accountant person. And it's just like every little thing. If it's for payroll or something, if I can't see where it's going, like I log into my IRS myself. I make sure all the payments are like being made there. Like I don't trust anything because it's like all of a sudden, like we ask about everything. There's one for payroll and we're like, okay, but it's not going to payroll. It's not going to IRS. Like where is this going? Like every little thing I ask, like it's so crazy. And she's very professional. She knows what she's doing. And they're so crazy. Just rely on checks and balances of the people in your life or family members. Like that's so bizarre to me. And the reason you're not checking

it is because like, oh, well, I don't need to own like a yacht or a jet. It's like, like, it's so out of touch. It's so crazy. Or buy designer clothing, which she does wear designer clothing all the time. She's like literally a model for Louis Vuitton. So I was just like, that's kind of a weird thing. It was so odd. Like she said she hasn't checked it in years. I was like, check it. You need to check it too. You need to know how much money is in there. I mean, I check

occasionally, but I get her. Even banks. Even banks could be shady. You always, like banks could like close. I know, actually, wait, is this an influencer or like someone I know personally? I can't remember. Someone's whole Chase bank account was closed with $30,000 in it. Never. It just was closed. The bank's like, we can't do anything about it.

Like, that happens all the time. There's, like, shady stuff with banks and, I don't know, you need to check it. I get what you're saying, but not be, like, trust me. I think there's also a difference in like, once you have like

kids and stuff, I think that also changed. Cause then once you have other people who depend on you, then you really have to start thinking about their future. And then everything becomes, you look at things very different. Like Cardi B has children. So like you have children. So I think that also has a, even I know before you had children. I know that you're obsessed. I was checking it. I was checking it. Just in general.

I just – I don't know. Know what you spend it on because you don't know how much Postmates adds up. And yes, it gives you anxiety. But guess what? And to me, I never think about this stuff, even though I check my bank account. But once you start seeing it in that way, it's just like groceries too. Groceries being expensive versus going out to eat, all this stuff like

that. It's just like, I think it's just better. For me, it calms my anxiety because I am anxious about money. I always think I'm going to go broke. I always think like, okay, I got to keep making money, money, money and stuff like that. I don't know. For me, it's just like, it's better to see it, you know? Or to me being held accountable because like I can look at it myself, but now that, you know, like Moses and we like share finances, it like makes me more like accountable. Like, okay, let me not spend so much because we want to be able to like have money in there each. I don't know. It's so, it's weird. To me, it was like very out of touch. Like she, she said that her big house, her big splurge was her house and she has that so she knows that she's good. Like she doesn't feel the need to, you know, obviously like with clothes and stuff, she gets Louis Vuitton for free. Right, so she's like, I don't need to buy designer clothes because I get them for free.

Yeah. Um. When you have a lot of money, it's a very different reality and especially some people are just more comfortable with somebody else taking care of their money. They don't look at it. They don't touch it. Somebody else taking care. And it's issue of trust and some people are just more comfortable somebody else taking care of their money they don't look at it they don't touch it somebody else taking care and it's issue of trust and some people get taken no way i don't even like when moses looks at our bank account it's gonna be our joint account money most celebrities like they don't look at their finances they don't like there's somebody there's a business manager they take care of their finance

especially a business manager invest for them they do all that i've had like the same accountants for so many years. I still am like, I look at every little thing all the time, every day. You should be a business manager. I would love to. Not that I'm great with money, but I can definitely know money. I see money. I see where it goes. Like now I'm getting better.

And like I said, Moses has helped me for sure. Because now I'm like, okay, let me not spend so much money on this or that. And like it does add up. Like you just don't think about it. And maybe like I said, without kids or something, I don't know. I just would spend. It doesn't matter. But now I'm like, oh man, that money could go towards this or something like that. I have like – obviously I have personal. I have like business. But you just want to make sure nothing gets to zero when you write checks and stuff like

that. But yeah. I don't know. I'm very on it. Like I'm always thinking about money and what I have to pay and stuff like that. So that's why I have with you, I was like, I'm paying, I'm paying. Cause I was just like, it is not like one thing after the other. And I was just like, I just, I hate owing people money. Like, especially like when it's like not on time, cause I love getting paid on time. There's so many companies I work with that like are so late.

They like literally take like 60 days to pay 70. I'm like, where's this money? And I hate that. I like to do it instant when it's owed. Plus you work so hard. You are the hardest worker. You are. Because TikTok, first of all, Meghan Trainor and Chris Olsen are kind of like TikTok royalty. So I was kind of like shook that there was so much backlash. I actually would, I don't know. They probably wouldn't talk about this because they're actually very sweet. Even Tana, she's like such a sweet person when it comes to this kind of stuff.

But I always, even with Matt Rife when I talked about it, like not on camera. And they were very like, oh, you know even tana she's like such a sweet person when it comes to this kind of stuff but i always will even with matt rifle like i talked about it like not on camera and they were very like oh you know because i said it was such a weird interview and they're like oh you know he was like scared to get canceled because he just signed like a big deal for touring like they were very much in defense and that was at the time of when he was like yeah still on the women train so i don't know maybe it's different now but um yeah i was kind of i was kind of shocked because like Meghan Trainor is very likable and Chris Olsen is very likable. Like she's very just that. So you don't think of her as being vocal, outspoken, having a little bit of a sassiness

I mean, honestly, whenever someone talks about you or your podcast is always a win you know what i mean like more people are gonna watch it more people are gonna go to it and maybe megan thinks that she's like well it's clippable baby yeah even last week with like i was like oh god whenever i title something i don't like i do it it's almost trolling i don't know i don't take it very serious you know it's all like because then when you actually watch it you actually understand what we actually say with context and stuff yeah but then everyone just took the forgiving shane title and ran with it and i was like no no i know i'm like it's fine that's the clickbait yeah i was like i guess at the end of the day as long as people are clicking i know that's yeah but that i was like whatever the people

So, because I went into last week thinking that you would have all the answers and I went in not really knowing anything.

Right. And then so I went back to look and yeah, like Shane's stuff is like a million views for podcasts. But it's weird because like you don't hear much about it outside. You never – I never see – like we talk about TikTok. Like I always see clips from every podcast. Never see clips from theirs.
