Starting point is 00:00:00 But don't try to clock my tea. You're not going to come over here and clock my tea because baby, the readings and the lashings will not be even. It's not a fair playing field because I've done a little bit of research and you don't even want me to get into who's funneling the money in the toast and where the parents are and all of that because it can get real nasty if we need it to be. If we need it to be, it can get nasty. Get away. Hey guys. Welcome to the Just Trish podcast. Before we get started, I want to give a huge shout out to NoCD for sponsoring today's episode.
Starting point is 00:00:48 If you're struggling with OCD or unrelenting intrus. thoughts no CD can help book a free 15 minute call to get started visit nocd.com slash trisha all right guys here we are we are in I got a new phone seven hours it took me to transfer yesterday I believe it after witnessing firsthand how many photos text messages emails notes you have saved archive really over the years I understand now why it takes you all day to transfer your phone hours it took me. I know. And I was like at the end of the day, did I really need it for this burgundy color? No, but I will say Apple, please make a pro max pink. It can be baby pink, hot pink. I mean, so many people would buy that pink phone. Would you buy the pink phone? I think I would buy that. Actually, no, I wouldn't buy the pink phone. Your whole gaming room is pink. I know, but now I'm in my like demure aluminum silver black kind of vibe right now. I thought you got the black one. I did and I returned it. I know. Gag. Gag. Yeah. Well, I got the black and I got the 18
Starting point is 00:01:48 Pro Plus. Yeah. 18 Pro Plus. The big one. The Pro Max. Yes. This is Pro Max. Plus.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Is it bigger? Is it better? I sure. Right. The plus is big? Yeah. Okay. Pro Max Plus.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Yes. Is it big? That's the big one. You got the big girl. Really? Yeah. And I was like, ooh, my dainty little wrist is hurting my poor little wrist. What?
Starting point is 00:02:14 My heartitis, my carpal tunnel. Did you not happen before? No. I did a couple years ago. I was always a max girl. The bigger the better size queen boots. I'm like, I need that big screen baby. To make us look smaller.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Yes. And I just, you know, I love watching a little video. I watch all my podcast. I watch everything on my phone. I don't really use like my computer for consuming media. So I'm like, I need the bigger screen. But then, Gagged, I was getting the carpal tunnel. I was getting the carpal tunnel.
Starting point is 00:02:41 So then they released. For real? Yes. I had to have a gabapentin on deck for whenever the arthritis and carpal tunnel was acting up. Well, you need to do wrist. I do wrist. I do wrist exercise in. You got to do your wrist.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Oh, okay, work. Then I can, like, do it. I was doing it. I literally zoomed in and I was like, the wrist are where it's at. Okay, so yeah, do more wrist exercises. Yeah, well, it's also like my finger. It's a whole thing.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Okay. And I almost was going to need surgery at one point. Yep, yep, I know. Because it's also from editing. I was doing a lot of editing. Just everything I do, you know, wrist-related. Oh my God. You really do you need to do wrist exercises.
Starting point is 00:03:09 That might help. I don't know. Back in the day, I was doing wrist exercises. What do you say? Maybe he needs to rest, his wrist, not more exercise. He's got to work. He's on editor. That is crazy.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Actually, that's your job. So then I got the iPhone error last year or two years ago. I remember that came out. Hated it, kind of the worst phone ever, to be honest. It's statistically the most returned iPhone to ever exist because it's that bad. Obviously. But it is skinny as a needle and light as a feather. So my wrist did thank me for that.
Starting point is 00:03:40 And then I ordered. your size phone and I was like, oh, heavy, heavy on it. So then I went and returned it and got this one instead. And Darien had regrets over not getting the silver. So I was like, ooh, I guess the silver's good. So I got silver. That's crazy. I just had the silver and I was like I'm over the silver.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Because to me it looked like every other eye. And the black was, Ari had the black, and she had the black on black case and it just looked so sleek. And I don't like the color black that much, but it's like, it looked cool. Okay, well, I also had the black on black for like two years. And I'm like, let me mix up and do something a little different. They had a black phone?
Starting point is 00:04:12 The black iPhone Air, yeah. I had that with the black case. Well, the Air had all the cool colors, but it was the crappy phone. They were like here. It's giving, okay, this is like niche. Okay, I don't know. Maybe it's not that niche.
Starting point is 00:04:23 It's giving my bag. Mybach. Do you know my buck? Mercedes, my buck? No. Well, it's basically like a car that was like bougie. It's car I have, by the way.
Starting point is 00:04:30 And it was like this car that was like everyone considered bougie for like the longest time. It bumps, right? Is that what it is? It's like the My Back bumps. I think rappers drive it. I don't know. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Mayback was supposed to be like this boogie Mercedes. and my lease is up because we lease our cars and I just whatever and my lease is up so I was like I'm gonna go you know get another car and like I was thinking like a lesser car because Mayback is like expensive you know I have kids now I'm trying to like save money for vacations when they get older and stuff so I was like let me get like a lesser so I thought oh I could get like a G-Wing or something but they're like trying to give away my point is Maybacks are basically like the iPhone air is where it's just like yeah they look pretty and they sound bougie but they were trying to give it away to us free like they were literally pushing I've been to the same Mercedes for like 15 years because I do love a Mercedes and
Starting point is 00:05:10 And it was the same sales guy and everything like that. But so you have trying to push another Mayback on us. And I was like, no, they're kind of too expensive. And not for nothing. It is always in the shop. Like we are always putting that Mayback in the shop. Like there's always a signal going on and stuff like that. Kind of expensive.
Starting point is 00:05:22 The car payment, whatever. So he's trying to push them another Mayback. He's like, I'll just give us just a clean trade. Just give us this. I was like, wow, that's kind of good to you. Like no. But I was like, I don't really want a Mayback. So I was like, oh, we're trying to find like a used G wagon or something
Starting point is 00:05:31 that was like a little less. And he's just like, no, no, you don't want, you don't want that. I don't know. He's trying to, like, talk us out of the GWagans or something like that. The used ones. The used GWagans. He's trying to get us a new Gwagon, which he's like, oh, they're 30K over asking. I was like, oh, my, my.
Starting point is 00:05:42 So anyways, we ended up just not getting a car because now I don't know what to get a Mercedes. Because basically my friend, Ari, she has like the Mercedes, but not the Mayback, but it's exactly like mine. Like, it's exactly the same. Like, the inside has the LED lights. Like, everything's the exact same. And I'm trying to find something like that. But anyways, all that to say, don't get an iPhone air or a Mayback.
Starting point is 00:05:59 They look pretty, but guess what? Nobody wants them. And they're really just trying to give them to you, and it's wild. At the end of the day, maybe just get a Samsung. Gag it, because everyone is saying the Samsung Galaxy or whatever has already done what the iPhone duo is doing and a little bit better. And those iPhone duos, they do look fun. I'm not going to lie. They look fun as hell.
Starting point is 00:06:21 But I don't know if they fit in your pocket. Can you go to Verizon and see if they fit or whatever store you go to and see if it fits in your pocket? They're not even out yet. They don't even have them on display. Oh, what? Just take two phones. Take your phone and the other phone, put them together and try to fit in your pocket. No, but I think they're wider, right?
Starting point is 00:06:33 They look wide. They look like an iPad mini. They're like the size of iPad mini folded. It's the most odd size there is. I love, I do love them. They are getting me. Like, okay, let's get one. Let's go return it again.
Starting point is 00:06:44 I want one to. No, my Verizon, I went yesterday because I always always have issue with Verizon. Like, not Verizon itself. Not Verizon. No shade of Verizon. I have an issue whenever I try to get a new phone. My phone number is always, I don't know, what was it? Oh, my phone number was, like, restricted yesterday.
Starting point is 00:06:57 And I was like, what the hell? Even when I went into Verizon, they're like, oh, your account's restricted. I was like, who the hell do I call? Anyways, I do love Verizon. I've been a Verizon member for 40 years, I think. 38, longer than I've been alive, 42 years, I think I've been a member. So I just, you know, love Verizon. But it's always an issue.
Starting point is 00:07:11 But then when I went in there yesterday, there was no phones on display. You're right. There was not one phone. And people were trying to come in to get a new phone. It's like, we have none. There was not one phone on display. You know how I usually go in and you can play. You know how I just Dean.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Not one phone. You know, I just, I just even go and play with all the phones. There wasn't one. They were over it. Don't go to Verizon on Sunday. They definitely were just over it. They were just like, call 611. I was like, but I'm here.
Starting point is 00:07:31 They literally had me go call. I was like, anyways, I ended up fine. It was good thing I called 611 because like, yeah, your things restricted. And I was like, how? But then it took seven hours. But then again, I have way too much data. Anyways, that was that weekend. How about yours?
Starting point is 00:07:45 How was yours? It was pretty good. I did work the VMAs. last night, I know. I knew they were even on, I know. I know. I fear the MTV Video Music Awards Baby happened Sunday night
Starting point is 00:07:59 last night and I fear a lot of people didn't know what was happening. I haven't seen one thing. And I was actually, fun fact, okay, a little hack. No one cares, but I was so stressed because seven hours about my phone and I was like, oh my God, what am I do for seven hours? Moses still had, what was that?
Starting point is 00:08:13 I had an awful phone. It was pink though. Remember the pink iPhone? It was like, it was pretty pink but only had two cameras. Yes, it was like the regular, regular phone. It was like regular and I got it and whatever. But Moses still uses it for his cooking.
Starting point is 00:08:25 So he's like, you know what? Your TikTok is still on there. So I was able to like still go on my TikTok, which was great. I didn't even care about messages. I was like, who cares? I had my, I had my TikTok on there. That was a great hack. I never knew.
Starting point is 00:08:34 I was like, because we keep all the phones. I'm always scared people going to get my information. But I was able to, I was on TikTok for a very long time because, yeah, it was like a lazy day. Yes, my dad was here. My dad was here. That was what it was. And so I still able to go on TikTok and I didn't see one thing with the VMAs. Not one thing.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Yeah. I saw a bunch. What? Okay. Moses locked in for the VMAs. What did you see? I mean, I saw Madonna argue with Sabrina Carpenter on stage about who's calling who. I saw Madonna and Charlie X, CX party in a hotel room.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I saw Madonna perform. Oh, you were a Madonna last night. For some reason, Madonna was the main event. She was a main event. She was? I think so. She opened the VMAs with the performance. Sabrina Carpenter made a surprise.
Starting point is 00:09:17 appearance with Madonna and opened the show with her. That was fun, I guess. And then Charlie XEX also came out and performed with Madonna as well. Why Madonna so much all of a sudden? They have collabs on her new album. They have features on her new album,
Starting point is 00:09:34 and they went really big on having Madonna perform. I guess it was the first time she performed at the VMA since the Brittany Christina infamous kiss. Which is a long time ago. Can I... A little bit of a hot take. I might get canceled for it. But, like, I didn't even get Madonna back then with Brittany and Christine.
Starting point is 00:09:50 You know what I mean? Like, I kind of was like, I don't really get it. I didn't see anything. I didn't even know she didn't do music. Oh, my God. Yeah, she released new music a couple months ago. I think it was received fairly well. I'm not like a huge Madonna stand, but like respect because we would not have any of our pop girls if I weren't for Madonna being boots on the ground.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Okay. So I respect it. Do I personally stand? Not really, although I did love her back in the day, like Confessions of a dance floor. hung up I'm hung up on you Yeah Every little thing I just say
Starting point is 00:10:22 Okay And I love that music video Like that was fierce Back in the day maybe But you know Maybe maybe maybe yeah There was My era of Madonna
Starting point is 00:10:30 Was maybe that same time Where it's like music Makes the people Yeah I think that was the era before that one But I remember that on Tiro back in the day Yes Old and chopped But yeah
Starting point is 00:10:41 Madonna Us Oh Well, not compared to Madonna. You know what I mean? Like, I always think when I see someone like older, I'm like, oh, why I feel like young? I suppose so. And people have made a lot of jokes because she has that song with Sabrina in the music video.
Starting point is 00:10:56 And it's like me at 30 seeing the young twink at the gay bar or whatever. I'm like, yep, that's so, that's so me. It's like, Sabrina, Madonna, I have something I want to say about it. That's how their song goes. And it's kind of fun. I don't know. Like, granted, was the mic on for Madonna? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:11:13 What does that mean? I'm talking around. Like, the track, like, the mic would be, like, over here. The track's playing. But I don't even give up because it's, it's Bob Guilty. Like, let her walk. I see. I think it might be her last, like, VMA's performance because, like, it, obviously,
Starting point is 00:11:26 if it's 23 years since her last one, I feel like this is her last hurrah, the VMAs. That's crazy. She's still youngish, like 69 or something. But it was. She's not as active. Yeah. And even, like, I don't know. You could, like, they were really having to carry her around.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Yeah, like, you can see that. She, she never buy her. There's always somebody holding her. She's pretty young. She was always pretty fit, right? She was still fair. Yeah, but we never know. We never know what people go through.
Starting point is 00:11:50 She's like my mom's age. At least for a big like spectacle performance. Like I think she could still like perform. But like this big level of spectacle in production. Like I feel like we're getting towards the end of that level. So. Yeah, I get. You're right.
Starting point is 00:12:03 She's like a, she's like a trailblazer. Yeah. Yeah. And like literally paved the way for so many pop girls. I think that's why someone in the younger artists like Charlie and Sabrina and we're so excited to collaborate with her on this album. Giving Michael Jackson but alive. Okay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Right. I feel like people. Just legend. Just music legend. Yeah, because I mean, the songs, because even the songs that you guys talk about are not her best song. Oh, what's your era, Madonna? Let's hear yours.
Starting point is 00:12:28 The beginning. Like, you know. The beginning, babe. You were five when she came out. You remember like a Virgin in 1981? Yeah, the radio was always on. And like, like a Virgin is something that's so groundbreaking at the time. But I'm saying, what is your era that you remember in real time?
Starting point is 00:12:43 Obviously, I knew like a virgin, but that was before your time. You were five. I mean, I was same thing with me. I know it. No, but in my house, the radio was always on. So music was just, like, I remember music from this, like, 70s, beginning of 80s. No, I agree. All of her songs as they came out.
Starting point is 00:12:56 No, I'm just saying with Donnie Asman and Elvis, but I'm just saying, like, what do you remember of Madonna, like, when you were in high school? Like, I was sharing what I knew about Madonna in high school. No, I'm telling you, I remember her when I was five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. I know, I know. I know. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:13:11 I understand. I remember Michael Jackson too, but I understand that. But I'm saying what I would I know of Michael Jackson when I was 13, like in my prime, right? I know Michael Jackson from the trials, right? But of course I knew him from Thriller and stuff because they played all the time. But I'm saying like when you were in high school, I'm just trying to figure out what era of Madonna you were getting in high school. But I don't think in high school was her like me and her didn't jive in high school. That wasn't.
Starting point is 00:13:36 I know. I wasn't stuck. I got it. But I'm saying I remember like a pair on TV when it was. was controversial when it was a big deal. So that is the time you remember then is like her being canceled. What was it like a prayer? Oh, when the crosses were burning.
Starting point is 00:13:49 All of it. I mean, her whole song being in the church. I remember like Jesus kind of crying. I think it's your blood. Like all of it. Her on her knees in the church, all that stuff. I wonder if it's still like shocking. If you watch, I haven't seen that video.
Starting point is 00:14:06 But like I wonder if you watch it and you're still like, the hell was too far or it's like nothing now? I think it's not that shocking, but also, I don't know, because Sabrina Carpenter also filmed a music video in a church a couple years ago, and like some people did find it shocking because she was like having a fake funeral and like wearing a cute baby girl dress and people thought it was so offensive. And I was like, this is furious. So I guess it's a little subjective, but. Was there a Jesus in that one?
Starting point is 00:14:31 No, she was just like looking fierce in the church. Madonna's video was still more controversial in that video. Oh, yeah, because that went even further. Madonna's. Like that video was really, what she did was more provocative than what she was burning crosses. Is that what it is? No. Yeah, there's classes on fire.
Starting point is 00:14:48 But I don't think that was the issue. She was more her sexuality within the space of the church. She's being a little sexual. Okay. I don't know that much about her, but maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should know more. Sorry, I don't want to get canceled. It's like Greendale all over again where I'm just like so sorry.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Was Green Day there? But I think now it's more about what they're trying to build is like her achievements over time. So I think now she's doing that because they know certain records are going to be set by her still being an active, still getting awards, still performing, and then people will be able to go like and say, you know, she won a Grammy in the 80s and in the 2000s. I wish I would have won a streamer. What are those ones called? The streamies. Streamies, yes. I wish I would have wanted to stream.
Starting point is 00:15:32 I feel like I could have been at the beginning of the streamies and then I could have been, you know what I mean? Oh, you're relating to Madonna. Yeah, I'm like the Madonna of YouTube. Like I feel like I've been around so long. And then, yeah, in 20 years from now, people will be like, I don't really know what Trish does or get her, but she's been around. So let's just give her some awards. Was it really that controversial back then?
Starting point is 00:15:52 I am the Madonna of YouTube. You're right. That's the best comparison. Because it's kind of like I was talking about it now. It's like, what did she do? That was so crazy. I don't know. She was kind of wild.
Starting point is 00:16:00 And then some people will remember like Moses or Oscar. You'll be the Trish Dorian then. You're like, well, I remember. Well, you had to be there. Oh, my God. Okay, I kind of love that. You're right. I think if you're just around
Starting point is 00:16:10 for a very long time too, you have to give respect. It's like, damn, you've been around for a long-ass time. And she's still fierce. Like, she won a lot of awards. She won best collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, and that was the moment Moses mentioned where she was giving context
Starting point is 00:16:24 as to how their collab came to be. And Madonna was like, I reached out to Sabrina's team. They went five days without getting back to me. So I DM Sabrina myself. And Sabrina was kind of gagged. She was like, oh, like she covered her face. It was fierce.
Starting point is 00:16:37 I think you just don't give a . I think I'd like that too. Especially when you're Madonna. Yeah. But also, five days isn't that long. It is long. When you're Madonna, it's Sabrina Carpenter.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Five days? You got a DM from the weekend and it was posted, you know, here within a day. Yeah, but like business-wise. She's reaching out to agents and managers. You know how it is. But it's Madonna. Whoever received that message at that moment, stop everything. But it's Gen Z and control now.
Starting point is 00:17:03 So they don't, not to say they don't care, but it's just not as gaggy. So they don't know Sabrina as well. Like your team needs to know you and what you like. Does she like Madonna? I didn't even know. Yeah. She was performing like an S&L, one of the S&L after parties. And then Madonna's manager also was there and came up to her.
Starting point is 00:17:20 And Sabrina was like fan girl just to meet like Madonna's manager. Is that guy, Osari? Probably. Yeah. He's famous. And she also won an award with Troy Savant and Charlie XX. Madonna's winning all these awards? Yeah, she won a lot.
Starting point is 00:17:36 I think this is sponsored by Madonna. I think the VMAs was just a Madonna vehicle, which at no shade, love it. I would do the same thing. That's me at the streamies in 20 years. Everything's going to be me. I'm going to win all the awards, all the performances. Because that's kind of crazy, right?
Starting point is 00:17:48 Madonna's winning all these awards all of a sudden. But like you said, the thing about Michael Jackson, if he didn't perform for 20 plus years, suddenly he shows up, collaborating with everyone performing, opening the VMAs. He would be getting all those awards. And she forgot. And she forgot what award she won to. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Like, what was the award? Was it real? You remember Michael Jackson had the fake award? they gave him that fake one, the Vanguard Award or whatever. Yes, and now that has become a tradition, the VMA tradition, the Vanguard Award. Well, that is ironic because Taylor Swift won an award that was just created the inaugural award.
Starting point is 00:18:17 The inaugural artist director honors. Okay. Which I, the VMA's producer was doing press ahead of the VMAs, and he got asked about how this award came to be, and he said in this interview that it was inspired by outside influence. I'll just say that. What's that mean? They were told to do it.
Starting point is 00:18:40 People, I love that. The theory, the theory allegedly, is that it was like, well, if you want her here, you got to give her something good, allegedly. Okay. And honestly, they needed Taylor Swift. So if I was producing him, like, baby, whatever she is, she needs the best artist of the generation award. I'm going to give it to her because, like, we needed some stars.
Starting point is 00:19:01 We need a star power. Well, Madonna. Yeah, I mean, it was just like, like as far as big like current stars like especially ones that are cross-generational that like everyone would kind of know um you have like yeah like a madonna taylor swift but that's kind of it like rica Sabrina but like Sabrina was a surprise and she literally only came out just to be with madonna she didn't do like the red carpet she didn't promote or anything Charlie I feel like as far as cross-generational obviously like younger millennials gen Z love like
Starting point is 00:19:32 my parents whatever they don't know also this female was different because this was the first one that was also on CBS and CBS because it's a whole like initiative to have like all the parent out be you know in synergy and CBS skews very very very very old like as far as people who actually are watching channel 2 on TV I know CBS are still around but love CBS respect love two and a half men it's fuse very very very very old CBS I know and they just had no one who was like a household name besides like Madonna a Taylor as far as cross in her saying to me he has a big deal like Slater was there I was like gagged I love Slater so big Yeah she's having her moment I was actually surprised they didn't give Slater a performance
Starting point is 00:20:13 Love because her performances go viral like whenever she performs at the festivals Yeah no she so I'm like you have her there and you don't have we performing like that's kind of weird to me Isn't it kind of crazy we had a slater here? I think about that It's like it's one of the few like we we got in time you know what I mean Yeah that's that we still get comments on that You please bring her back please bring her back oh now we can't Now she's too big, but sometimes we get people like new artists wanting to like come up and I'm like, maybe, because I can kind of see they're about to blow up and I was like, maybe, maybe they're like,
Starting point is 00:20:43 and I was like, maybe we should, but I'm always, I never know. Like I am so, I guess I should just bring on. And that always happens when like we're in the middle of scheduling and then their takeoff happens like in the midst of getting them on. Yes. Yes. There was a, there's an artist right now. His name is Jamie Miller.
Starting point is 00:21:00 And he, um, he just is like doing these claps with like everybody like Megan Trainor, Julian Huff. and he's like singing this like song and they're like circling. Anyways, he like reached out and was like, will you do this? And I just saw so many people doing it with him. So I was like, well, he must be somebody, Jennifer if he was doing it with him. Like, all these people are doing these things. So I'm just like, sure, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I like invited him to come to the house after like a hot topics, whatever. He was super sweet. And he's just like, yeah, like I saw you. He showed me a video when he was at the Greek theater performance. And he's like, I was so depressed at the time. And like, it was just like such a great performance. And I was like, whatever. He was like, whatever.
Starting point is 00:21:28 And then we just talked or whatever. And then like literally last night or something he posted like opening for the Jonas Brothers on there like a read like the stadium tour or whatever I was like damn okay So it's kind of giving Alex Warren in a little sense where it's like that song's everywhere and I was just like and he's clapping with literally everybody and I was like I mean it's me with adela. I literally think about this all the time because like I never saw that she DM me when the cat's like documentary came out when we talked about it I literally have never seen the DMs until like I tagged her when we met her at the Dem of Lovato party and then like it showed up in my DMs I was like when did Adela, dear me. And then I saw, she's like, I saw you talk about me. Like, I would love to come on.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I was like, what? Oh, we missed it again. I know. This was like 2024, I think, whenever the documentary, or 2025, whatever. She is so huge right now. Yeah, and now she is like the girl. But there is, there is receipts of me talking about how much I love Adela since the Katzai documentary, how much I loved her.
Starting point is 00:22:19 You called it. She was not the VMA shoot. I expected her. She is on tour. I think that's a problem. A lot of the girls are on tour. Katzai on tour. Adela on tour.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Zara Larson. She had a festival performance. Oh, she wasn't there? No, Harry Styles on tour. Ariana Grande just didn't show up and she got a lot of nominations. So we were missing a lot of the Olivia Rodriguez, another one who got, who was nominated, but wasn't there. So we're just missing the stars, you know. We had some stars, but.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Did you, who are you posting on your TikTok for ET? Thank you so much to Zikiki for sponsoring today's episode of Jess Trish. There are so many good concerts coming to L.A. Starting point is 00:24:18 Yeah. They asked you too or you just did it? No, it was asked. I mean, also, like, obviously I have a swiftly bias, but it's, I honestly have a sense of dread when I have to cover Taylor because like I love her so much but like having forced to do it for work it's like it makes me not want to do that almost and it is like my cross to carry I regret being such a local Swifty at my workplace because now it's like anytime there's a Taylor related thing it's like okay well you love her so here you go and I'm like well
Starting point is 00:24:46 what's kind of good though she ever has to press or anything like oh you go cover this Taylor but that's also the gag is that Lao she's so famous that like they don't trust me like back when she was like less famous but yeah sure go to the conference girl but after like aerosort took off like no we have to send in like the highest you know who's the highest there probably like exactly producer like they send the they said the big wigs for any Taylor related thing now and I'm like well damn back of it when no one gaffed about the aeros store they're like yeah sure Oscar go cover it and now once she took off yeah yeah but it was a lot of Taylor coverage because yeah she was getting her honor and then she also
Starting point is 00:25:23 premiered like her new music video with Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell randomly for Dakota Johnson. Who's Dakota Johnson? You know Dakota Johnson. Madame Webb. Oh, I'm thinking Taylor and Dakota. That's what I was like. From Mormon-wise.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Yeah, I was thinking Dakota. What's his name? Is it his name, Johnson? No, is it? I swear it's Dakota Johnson. Look him up. Because that's, I was like, wait, what? That's why.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Mortensen. Yes. There's a sin, I guess. That was crazy. When you said Taylor or Dakota, I was like, what? He got into music. That would be used. That would be.
Starting point is 00:25:57 I think I'd be. That's why I thought you said it's so gaggy. And I was like, okay. Decoded. This is the part where she was receiving her award and it cuts to Charlie X-A-X. Yes. I was honestly worried for that because I'm like, there's a lot of, I know whoever was planning the seating chart was stressed AF because it's like you got Taylor, got Charlie and Troy,
Starting point is 00:26:16 you got a lot of enemies. Oh, they don't like each other? No. Wait, why? They're feuding. Now currently or they did. Hi. It was like a back and forth.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Charlie released a song. You don't remember any of this? No. Do we talk about it? Yes. Yeah, we talked about it. Okay, give me a TLDR. Okay, well, Charlie used to open for Taylor back in the day.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Charlie has said that she didn't really like opening because I felt like it was like a lot of really young kids that weren't really into her. And then on Brat, the iconic album, she had a song called Sympathies a Knife, which is basically a song about feeling inferior to like this big pop star who everyone loves and adores. And she's always around because. Charlie's now husband is in the same band as Maddie Healy So then they were just always like in the same circle And it was really getting to her that this huge like famous pop star was there So it kind of made her insecure And then when Taylor released Life of Showgirl last year
Starting point is 00:27:10 She released a song called Actually Romantic Was just like girl I didn't even know you were thinking about me And talking all this shit about me It's actually like it's actually romantic that you talk about me so much And you hate on me so much Oh okay Yeah I was gonna say I thought maybe Taylor was winning She's been taking the high row
Starting point is 00:27:24 but they say I'm going to actually clap back. Yeah, so it was a lot of back and forward. He said, and there's more in there too. This is just like a TLDR. You know about all this? Why are you giggling? Wait. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:36 You gingles and I was like, why are you giggling? Okay. I didn't know about all this. But yeah, so they've been beefing for a past year and a half, two years. So what did she do last night? It's funny because I think they just avoided each other like full stop because Taylor came out before her award. which was like towards maybe halfway through the show towards the end.
Starting point is 00:27:57 I think they kind of were just like missing each other. So when one would come out, one backstage, I don't think they were ever, as far as I know, and I could be wrong. I just never saw them in the audience at the same time. It was very much like one would come out. And I don't know if that was strategic on like producers part or anything. I just thought it was funny. But there was a clip.
Starting point is 00:28:16 I have the video. Yeah. So there's a clip of Taylor receiving her honor. Tatsy Charlie. It's so rewarding. Damn. It is fake news. I do hate to break it.
Starting point is 00:28:28 It's not real? No, it was edited to make it seem like that's a clip of Charlie reacting to Taylor, but that was Charlie reacting to Nirvana accepting an award. A camera cuts of her and that was her face. Why was she being changed to Nirvana? I don't know. I think it's just resting. Nirvana is dead.
Starting point is 00:28:46 I definitely were not there. The band, the rest of the band. Dave Grohl? Who's Dave Grohl with? No, he's not near. No. Fuf. Foo Fighters.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Foo Fighters. No, no, Nirvana was there. Oh, it was Nirvana. Yeah, yeah. But not, just not court Corbane, the rest of the band. Are you sure it wasn't foo fighters? No, no, definitely I saw Nirvana. Dave Girl is both Nirvana and foo fighters, but...
Starting point is 00:29:07 Is he? Yes. Oh, the guy's fighting. But, Kirk Cobain is Nirvana. If you say Nirvana is there, it's Kirk Cobain. But the band was there. I saw him smoking on the stage, the one of the band members. All of them, who else is in Nirvana?
Starting point is 00:29:21 I don't even know. Well, we obviously don't care, but I'm saying. they were there. Well, this gets canceled for saying that. Oh, my God. Oh, but why was she, she did Dave Grohl? It just cut to her face, and, like, that was the face she's made. To me, it's like, girl, I don't, no shade.
Starting point is 00:29:36 I think I'd be looking the same, because I'm like, let's get through this program. Like, let's get through it. But we love Madonna, but we hate Nirvana. I don't hate it. I would just be, like, kind of like resting bitch face, too, I think, as far as, like. I mean, she really was just like. When is it over? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Well, just don't even go to the ceremony. That just. And another shady reaction that was Pink Panthers. Madonna actually was accepting her collab award, and then it cuts to Pink Panthers, and she was kind of like, she like gave a little high-re. Everyone's annoyed. She lost the award to Madonna's maybe last while.
Starting point is 00:30:05 But also Madonna was really, like, she just had a lot to say. And I would be like... I would probably be annoyed, too. Like, I think Madonna definitely should get like Legend Award, lifetime achievement for sure. But like Pink Panther from you, from Jimmy, I hear about her everywhere. She's the It Girl.
Starting point is 00:30:18 The States Side. Yeah, the Stateside remix was iconic. I hear more about her than I ever hear about Madonna. Pink Panthers did win a couple of awards, but hers weren't televised, weirdly. So that was another big thing. Like a lot of people who won, their awards weren't televised. So who was at this? Who was here?
Starting point is 00:30:35 Stella Lefty was there. I know. I mean you say her, I think it's a fake person. I think it's like not a real person. Let's see a picture of Stella. How is everyone dressed? Was everyone, was people giving serving? I love Charlie's look.
Starting point is 00:30:48 I love, actually like Taylor's look, and I'm sometimes skeptical of the wardrobe. choices. The black and white. Yeah, I like that. It was like corsetted and everything. Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the friendships. Cute, Kevin, but I disagree. Like with Bet365. I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout and can cash out at any time before the game ends. No hard feelings, Kevin. Just faster payouts from Bet365. The home of winning early. Starting point is 00:31:27 I thought that was fierce. It is giving me and Tanna on our last photo shoot. We also wore a black turtleneck. I told you very patient zero to you. Oh, you knew that look already? The black um, um, yeah, that was, it's like the cover of her single and it's in the music video a lot. Wow. We were on it. And I hate to say it. And I know people are going to think I am like rage baiting or something. Sorry, yummy, low key, my best dress of the evening. I love that. Why was she there? Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:55 I love that. First of all, let me tell. What was she there for? Was she, or just there for vibes? It was all there for vibes. I'm not shading. I love that. Okay, the first, this goes into, I actually had a whole influencer segment of the VMAs because it was a little, it gets to a point.
Starting point is 00:32:10 I love influencers at events. Me too. Hashtag representation matters. Yes. You know, it's aspirational. I, seeing influencers at these spaces. I'm like, yes. However, it gets to a point.
Starting point is 00:32:21 I was like, the first hour. the car but was all influencers back to back to back and I was like okay my god there's room for everyone like what kind of influencers are there everyone with the tic-tok pro everyone with the ticot pro really did you get an invite? And also like this is me hating from my cute I was going to say cubicle but at last it's not even a cubicle it's a it's an open concept desk you know so it's me for my privacy no right not even a cubicle baby like I have just a desk yeah so it's me hating from my desk I didn't get invited either not that I would have
Starting point is 00:32:52 gone but like you got invited oh I did get invited because that was my thought I was like oh thank gosh you didn't go because you would have been like horrified I think what it is I've always said it's like I am so all for I think what it is that I don't feel like I belong even at the Emmys like I was there obviously to host the carpet and then they invited us to go to the Emmys and I was like but I don't belong in there like I didn't get nominated for anything you know what I mean like I feel um but I understand why influencers do it we love a getty image we'd love a getty image for sure I guess also just a reason to get dressed up, I suppose. Yeah, and the relationship's important between, like, studios and stuff, so I totally get it.
Starting point is 00:33:29 It also was just, like, the integration was so, like, funny to me because they basically, they had them walk the carpet first, obviously. Yeah. And then they had, like, a, it was kind of like a corral, like, kind of at the beginning of the carpet where there was, like, a lounge kind of area where there was a bar and stuff, but then there was a space at the beginning of the carpet where all the celebrities walk, where they basically are, like, behind the rope, and then they just, like, make content with celebrities as they're walking. So it's like if Tyler or Lisa or Taylor Swift walk by, it's like
Starting point is 00:33:59 a lot of people filming their face and then filming Taylor walking by. So it's a lot of that like reactionary content as like people are walking back and forth. But it's just like everyone has the same angle. And then you see like someone filming from the back and you just see like the corral. And I'm like this is so interesting. Oh so. Okay. So if I would have gone, it's like you go, you take your picture and then they make you go behind like a barricade. It's like well on the carpet. But yeah, there's like the influencer lounge or whatever they marketed as. And then, like, it's, you know, there's seats. It looks nice.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Like there's a bar and everything. There's, you know, it's pretty big. And then by the carpet, there's like, you know, the rope or whatever. Almost like you, like, when you do a press line or something, you know, you're like behind the rope and celebrities are walking by. It's kind of like that where you're just like shouting as like, Taylor, Taylor, you know. Oh, interesting. Okay. Do you think they were paid to be there maybe?
Starting point is 00:34:50 Was it like a? I feel like some probably. Yeah. Because why the hell would they want to do that? I wouldn't want to be like, tear out of, I don't know. I would let's,
Starting point is 00:34:55 I'm getting paid. I feel like, right, they must, well, some of them, I mean, not going to, I know,
Starting point is 00:35:01 Brooke went, and Branflakes went. Oh, there were still a lot of them went. But they probably won't tell us. Branflex would say, I feel like he tells everything. Yeah, forthright.
Starting point is 00:35:09 He's like, this is what happens at these events. Because they did have, they did post a lot. I couldn't tell if it was their own accord. Carter Kench is another one who I follow who was posting so many tics. Haley Bailey and stuff too. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:35:21 Well, He'll not miss a red carpet. That's why I'm saying. I'm like, was it just to go? You know, like, I don't know. But they must. I feel like, I feel like they must get paid because I don't think they'd be like that excited, right? Because like, they go to events.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Like all these people go to events. And so like, and they're worth some, you know, they're worth, obviously their reach is worth something, right? Money, monetarily. So I wouldn't think. But it is prestige to be there and to be invited and to rub shoulders with celebrities and hopefully collaborate with them. whether it's a TikTok or a podcast or whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:35:53 I mean, if you take the anxiety out of it, it's a fun event to go to. Like, it's fun to go to those events. Moses does love an event. When he found out we had tickets to, I mean, he's an after-party. He said, oh, we could have gone. I was like, but that seems like a lot to, like, get dressed. I guess you do love an event.
Starting point is 00:36:06 I don't. I mean, I do. Think about people that are not anxious that don't get in those environments of surrounding, but like they thrive on being around people. Because I know the opposite. There's people that when they're alone, I mean, they're not introverts, right? extra like when they're alone and home they get so bored they want to climb off the walls. I have been feeling a lot of anxiety lately, which I feel like hasn't been me.
Starting point is 00:36:29 And it's like, I think with everything, right, being a mom, you get anxious because I'm like, okay, are my kids okay? Like I'm constantly like worried if like I'm giving them enough attention. But then it's like also this online that we do the podcast, right? And so I see clips of us on the podcast or other people talking about us. And then I almost get like, I guess it's anxiety. I don't know. I feel like you talk about this a lot.
Starting point is 00:36:47 So maybe you can help me where I feel a little like, overwhelming sense of like, oh, we're getting canceled. Is everything going to go away? Yeah, I think sometimes my brain fires on all cylinders with overwhelming dread. How do I manage this? How do I get under control? It honestly is really tough, especially when you kind of know it's irrational, but you feel like unless I do something about it, unless I act on these thoughts, I will not be able to move along with my day. And that happens with me for like serious stuff for like my pets or even like really trivial stuff like did I lock the door or um and did I leave the stove on like if it's stuff for it like realistically I know I probably did turn everything off and doors are all locked but like
Starting point is 00:37:28 literally yesterday I was driving into work and I was like 10 minutes down the road and I was like wait did I lock that door? Am I positive? And I was like let me just be safe and turn around go out of my way and I was so annoyed doing it but like my mind would not let me rest until I check. on that urge to make sure. And of course it was locked. Of course, the damn door was close.
Starting point is 00:37:50 I was so mad at myself. That's how I feel too. I know. I feel like with everything going around with like kids, you know, there's always like hand foot mouth. There's like, like,
Starting point is 00:37:56 so I'm constantly just like in paranoia. I'm like, they're scratching what it's into. And so then like it goes, it like can latch on to other people, right? Like my kids and stuff like, oh my God, if there's something wrong with me
Starting point is 00:38:05 and then there's nothing or if I'm asking people for like reassurance all the time. Like I'm constantly asking Moses. Like are we good? Are we okay? Am I doing enough in our relationship? up like the internet's telling me like you do everything and I do nothing or us too I feel like there's sometimes where I'm just like are you good am I like like you know because we get busier and
Starting point is 00:38:19 then I feel like I'm burdening everybody and I'm just like okay is this okay if not it's fine I'm so like constantly apologizing and it's just it's hard and it's just like is it just anxiety I know you talk a lot about having OCD you've been diagnosed OCD yeah it's so interesting too because my mom kind of knew when I was really young because I was very particular about things and that's a big misconception is that like OCDs. is just to be like everything neat and tidy, which that is part of it. And then getting older, I realized that things I was like anxious about, again, like my mind constantly going to like the worst case scenario or always jumping to the worst conclusions. I started learning like that is also a, in relation to OCD.
Starting point is 00:38:58 And actually, another thing I learned that I did literally my whole entire life that I had no idea was also part of being OCD is like little things like skin picking. I feel like that is such a good perspective because. Same, same. When we started doing NoCD ad reads, I was kind of like, well, I don't have a CD. Tricia might have this. And same. And you kind of don't know. And then you hear stories because everybody looks different really. Like if I'm not like, maybe I'm not like picking my skin, but my intrusive thoughts, I'm like, are these voices coming back into my head or are they just introduced the thoughts? So I feel like no CD is where it's really good for that. So instead of just traditional talk therapy, I like that. No CD also offers exposure therapy for people to
Starting point is 00:39:34 actually like do the things. Like when you said you were like, was it gwarphobic? Was that what it was? And you just have to like leave the house. And sometimes it really. is that sometimes it really is just being exposed, just being putting yourself out there. Like if I'm so worried about being canceled, it's like I need to stop looking at comments. NoCD is wonderful. If you guys are also wondering if, okay, this might sound like something I might need help with or I might have intrusive thoughts or I might have skin picking. Like if any of these things sound familiar or just something that you feel like you've had
Starting point is 00:39:59 a lot more anxiety than normal, it might be more than just anxiety. It actually might be OCD. And that's where no CD comes in. NoCD is the world's leading treatment provider for OCD. All of their licensed therapists specialized at ERP therapy, which is exposure response prevention, which is proven to be the most effective treatment for OCD. They know how to treat people who are experiencing both OCD and anxiety, so you could have both, and they know how to tell the difference between the two conditions, which is really important.
Starting point is 00:40:20 I feel like I still kind of don't know, but that's why you talk to a professional, like, what is the difference? Is it just anxiety is OCD or is it both? Because I'm a triple death deal. I got it all. I go into the New York Diversion scale. I got a little bit of everything. Yeah. And it is hard. And how to manage it, too. Therapy with OCD is 100% virtual, which is great. It's covered by insurance for 138 million Americans. It also includes support between sessions so you never have to face OCD alone, which is great. Thank you so much to NoCD for sponsoring today's episode.
Starting point is 00:41:27 You put them out in events surrounded by people and they thrive. They want to, they're performers. So they want to perform all the time, which means just even talking to people and. I'm surprised I didn't see a Getty or something. Like I said, I followed so many influencers. I'm surprised I didn't see like a little Getty post or so I was on it too I was on social media all day I saw a lot from influencers yeah um you know Mickey on TikTok oh she's one of my faves actually yeah um she went and people were mean to her dress and she made a lot of funny TikToks like defending her dress which like love she's like you know what it was a little big but I like the dress and I was like furious you got to stand 10 toes down you know but why didn't she get altered I think that was
Starting point is 00:42:03 the the big thing too that a lot of people were wondering yep yep but she was like you know I think she didn't really know too until... It's kind of like when you see a video of yourself. You're like, oh, I see where, you know... I never was into alterations either until, like, the past couple years. And I just realized you can go to Nordstrom and get for like $15 and get alteration. They're actually not that. I always always, like, booge and like whatever.
Starting point is 00:42:19 I always wear sleeves, like too long and stuff. Yeah, I'm assuming probably a good learning moment for her. But she liked it. She was like, she was like, I love it like this. No, she was like, you know what? Yeah, it's big, but at least I got the invite. At least I was there, you know, which is true. Okay, I love that.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Yeah. Who was your best stress influencer? Definitely. Besides Tar Yammy, who genuinely loved. Like, her outfit was so cute. Her body was T. Like, she looked so cute. Like, her abs on display. She had a little tutu. It was, like, so cute and so appropriate for the events. Yeah, VMA should definitely be rock and roll. That's fun. Yeah. So I would have to really give it to a Tarami. Okay. Was Jake there? Jake and Johnny? I didn't see Jake nor Johnny, surprisingly. This is Tara. Yeah, I saw Tara. Who else said?
Starting point is 00:43:04 I like Brooks Schofield, although everyone was mad that she still had her hair up. She will not let that hair down. Not a slick bun. Love, love Brooke. Your hair is gorgeous. You have the most gorgeous hair of anybody in the whole wide world.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Why are you slugging? Love it. You look gorge with a slick back. But like, let's see that beautiful hair. My hair is so broken and torn, but I'm wearing it down. It's like her hair is like luscious and gorgeous. Maybe she does it to rage bait just to piss people off.
Starting point is 00:43:25 I kind of, I kind of think so. I'm not even going to lie. Because even when she was teasing it, she was like, you'll stick back and you will be mad about it. But she, and she loves showing her hair. She was like redkin, look at his hair. And so I'm like, I feel like it's rage bait.
Starting point is 00:43:39 But I suppose everybody's rage baiting anymore. Okay, well, I missed this somehow. I don't know. What was something quite me? I think maybe your old phone has a different algorithm. Oh. I'm back in 2024. Yeah, it doesn't show you.
Starting point is 00:43:54 That could be. I'm trying to think what to show me yesterday. Maybe you're right. I don't know. Yeah, I don't even know what was happening back in 20204. beast I guess I don't know. Was there another award show recent, like this weekend? Friday?
Starting point is 00:44:07 No? I don't think so. That's what I'm saying. You know, I was like, wait, I feel like there was another award show. No, there wasn't. I don't think so. I mean, maybe there was a random-ass one, but as far as I know, it was the amazing. Oh, I saw Paris Hilton's party.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Tanna was at. Because Canada was getting ready for something. Yeah, that did look fierce. Yeah, it was a Y2K party. Yeah. And everyone thought her and McCau broke up with the Tuchel McCaw right next door because someone's like, wow, this doesn't help the breakup rumor. Did you get invited to the Parasilton party?
Starting point is 00:44:33 No, but Parasolitan invites me to her kids' party sometimes. Oh, that's fierce. Which I love. But it's always in December when I'm in Trishmas. But did you get invited? No, I sure didn't. I would have gone. But like, it's so crazy because it's like at her new house, all these parties because
Starting point is 00:44:44 I recognize the house now. And she got this like, is it almost like $80 million. Like the crazy expensive house. And she has all the parties there. And it's like, but she like lives there too. Like, it's so weird to me. Wait, so I'm sure it's big enough that there's like a public area and a private area. Oh, I see.
Starting point is 00:44:58 Yeah, that could be. She did get, because it used to be at her old house, her old house, the one that got, like, broken into by the blank ring. They used to have parties there all the time. And I was like, oh, it's kind of weird. She, like, lives there and has parties. But this one is huge, I guess. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:08 I saw Chapo Rohn was there, and I was like, damn. Really? Yeah. Was Chapo Rana? No. Could it use a chapel moment, for sure. Yeah, so I was. She went to the Paris.
Starting point is 00:45:16 We just needed a little, a little something over there. What was the party? What was happening there? I don't know. I saw it via via, it was even Chapo Rone. it was like chop around updates or pink pony archive or something one of those accounts yeah and I was like oh she looked good very Y2KT is okay so must have just a party just to have I guess I guess so yeah not promoting anything I don't know
Starting point is 00:45:37 I thought it was her birthday what why why she having that party I think she always she always was her birthday think she used to have like a club in her house yeah she had her old house she had a club yeah that's what's like she's a host she's DJs I do love that people just go over and just party at her house I would love to go. Like I say, we get invited her kids' birthdays, which I would love to go because we love kids' birthday party, but I think it's always in December. Yeah, I missed that invite too, but next year I'll go to the VMA's, maybe. If I open. T. Kyle was tweeting, like, this feels like the last VMAs, which, like, I don't know. It did
Starting point is 00:46:12 have a weird vibe to it. I don't know. It just felt like a little discombobulated, I think. Right. And, like, a weird bridge of, like, newer acts, and then the older acts, but then the performances we were like kind of all over the place too I don't know it was a little odd um generation um Bruno Mars somber did a George Michael tribute I love that how did I not see that that would have been on my FYP right before and baby where the hell's my husband which I was love love that I say that all the time whenever I'm looking for Moses I literally sitting at my head all the time where the house is my husband that's what I love it because it doesn't look for everything like I think she's
Starting point is 00:46:51 asking because she's single right like where the hell I'm always like what hell's my husband? Literally, yeah. Yeah, it's a great song. Maybe you'll be nominated next year, actually, for all your music videos. With the ways the BMAs are going, I will sweep it next year.
Starting point is 00:47:05 It's like, what is happening? George Michael, Madonna, Nirvana, like, what? And why Sumberd singing George Michael? Yeah. He has nothing. Very random. George Michael, ain't it? Is Sumber, queer?
Starting point is 00:47:20 We don't know. I don't know. I know he dates girls. But I don't know if he is by or what. Yeah, an odd person to do. No, he just vocally. He was not there. Also, George Michael is gay icon, but anyways.
Starting point is 00:47:35 He did have George Michael's actual jacket, which I thought was interesting. I was like, oh, so I guess they must like him if they're, you know, letting him wear the jacket. So. Maybe he's playing him in the movie. Maybe. I love George Michael. I love George Michael. Clay again?
Starting point is 00:47:52 Was he there? No. I've been seeing a lot of him, too. No. Doing a lot of interviews about Rosie outing him. Did you see this? I always see it. I guess we know what you're at fire Q.
Starting point is 00:48:01 This is Clayking and being like Rosie outed me. And then I saw the clip and I was like, oh, Rosie was like defending him. I don't know about something. I don't know. Miss Clayak and love the American Idol days. Kelly Clark's sitting Clayton all of them. But I think you did officially when New Music Friday, when it was you versus Taylor Swift versus James Charles all releasing the same day.
Starting point is 00:48:21 I did see that I was top rock. A lot of people like she cleared Taylor. Yeah, which was definitely gaggy to me. Is that real? It was a very controversial release. Let's say that. The Life of a Show Girl Encore with four new songs. I went in very optimistic, very excited.
Starting point is 00:48:40 Because I know my sister to be very reactive. She usually responds well to criticism. Like whenever each era, whenever she gets a lot of criticism, usually the next one is kind of a response to it. Like literally going back to her second album, fearless people thought she didn't write the songs herself so then the next album speak now she wrote entirely by herself so she's always like anytime she gets a lot of criticism she like claps back by like doing whatever answering what everyone's saying love that so when she announced these four new songs
Starting point is 00:49:07 I was like ooh she heard the criticism from life of a show girl and she's gonna eat you bitches up she's gonna eat you bitches up she didn't the musical and be too damn good you're not even gonna be able to take what my sister is offering and you know what I like some okay I know I one of the songs, one out of four I love. Okay. Two out of four, I like, one out of four pissed me off in a room my whole day. Like, I was irritated. I was irritated. Oh, wow. This is from...
Starting point is 00:49:34 She's, I mean, this was, for me, the most entertaining, release of music ever. It was something... You're her biggest fan, biggest Taylor's Huffeoppaologist, like she can do no wrong. Only before this, there was only one other time I was, I was annoyed at a Taylor drop, and it was me in 2019. Me, both songs were exclamation points.
Starting point is 00:49:51 We got Cleveland, exclamation point. Me, exclamation point. I should have known when I saw the exclamation point, things were going to get a little dicey. The me is with Panic at the Disco guy? Yes. Horrible. Yeah, that was horrible. I remember when I was dumped the week before and I was literally I was holding on to this.
Starting point is 00:50:05 I was like, girl, make it through this dark time because Taylor is about release next week. You can do it. And also Avengers End Game was coming out. I was like, we got Avengers, we got Taylor's Ford, we got things to live for. Hope Corps. That was my Hope Corps. Was me and Avengers End Game. Ironically, Avengers End Game just re-released this weekend too as Taylor.
Starting point is 00:50:22 And it was a new episode. Avengers at the end of this year, right? And you were also going through a difficult time last week. Yeah. Wow. It's really a 2019 all over again. For real. Yeah. It was a lot of flashbacks. And then... What's Cleveland about? We love Cleveland. The city? I love Cleveland. It's about going to Cleveland. It really is about going to Cleveland. It's a horrible idea for a song because we love Cleveland. Maybe she's heard the song Texas and she was like, let me make my version of it. For Cleveland. Cleveland's already getting the end of every deal with their sports teams and everything. And honestly, I have been victimized by the state of Ohio more times than I'd like to count.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Why? The corn fed Midwest boys, I've, like, tormented me. I had maybe three situationships. With people from Ohio? With Ohioans. Yes. Paul brothers? No, but I'm going to add them to this, too.
Starting point is 00:51:10 I didn't know they're from Ohio as well. So there's one more. Ohio is my country or something. That's one more knots in the belt because, damn, I've been three situationships. Ex-best friend was from Ohio. Wow. Yes, yes. And now the song Cleveland by Taylor's Wicks.
Starting point is 00:51:24 What's it about? It's basically a clapback at everyone who has made fun of her for this, the other, the way she dances or the way she dresses or that she's doing too much because she has a man now and she's married and that really is all that matters. I kind of love this song actually. I think I mean my anthem too. Yeah, because she's kind of like, you know, I don't know what to play. I don't know what to play.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Crunch millennial? No, she's like, she's telling you, I've seen. all the hate comments. You heard the song? Oh yeah, I read the reward of it. Oh my god. When? When? We were together this whole weekend. To me actually, there's a artist that most people don't might not know maybe. She's famous but not pop, you know, Lori Anderson. Oh, yes, yes, yes. To me, she gives that vibe, which I love Lori Anderson. It's very like much more artistic and mature and sophisticated. So to me, that song was mature and sophisticated.
Starting point is 00:52:21 You like Cleveland. Yeah. Wow. Okay. Interesting. Okay. It pissed me off in room. Everyone in a whole day.
Starting point is 00:52:26 But why did it piss you up? Sounds kind of good. Because I just went into it expecting it to be, to be honest. My theory was it was going to be death of a showgirl because she had like a black dress on. I was like, oh, we had life of the showgirl. That's going to be the darker side of it, death of a show girl. And I honestly, I checked into the play in my face factory.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Like that's kind of on me for thinking something bigger was going to happen. You love that term. Play in my face. Play in my purse. Played my face. She really did, though, because I was like, oh, it's going to be darker and everything. And then some of the lyrics on Cleveland are as follows. The taste of me is acquired, but it's his favorite dish.
Starting point is 00:53:00 Okay. He likes what he likes, what he likes, and he likes me. You only need to find one person in the entire world that doesn't find you completely insufferable. Oh. And I have an important announcement to make. I found mine. And it's very much, I don't think she's being completely serious. I do think it's being playful because a lot of the stands also are.
Starting point is 00:53:20 feeling similarly, there is the group that's like very defensive of it. It's like, oh, you just don't like fun. No, like I do like fun. Like, I love to shake it off. I got, I got it. I've been on the front lines, me. I was on the front lines for every unsurious drop and I saw the intent. I saw the purpose. I understood what was going on. This is just one that goes so heavy into Travis. Travis won the big game. Travi plays football. Travi's the best step football. That's what it says in the song? Essentially. It's like, everyone hates me, but I have Travi. Chavi is the best.
Starting point is 00:53:48 He plays football and he's so good at it. I feel like this is something I could write or I wrote. I don't know if that's nice or not, but I feel like a song I'd write. I think to you, complimentary. I don't know. I don't know if it's for the songwriter Hall of Fame, Taylor Allison's with that. It's giving literal, which I love. I'm going to write this about Moses.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Like, I don't care what you all say about me. I got a husband that cooks for me. It's very that. It's very Trishian in the sense that it's very trish-old. I like it. I'm going to steal this idea. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:14 I would call a death of a show girl. And the beat, like, production is very much like, people have compared it to, like, video game music. It's, like, over the top joy, unbridled joy, which, again, I get the feeling of it. I think it's a way to clap back and also to show that she's kind of unbothered, and it's a little tongue and cheek. Yeah, it's like tongue and cheek, and she's kind of being self-deprecating the way she talks about herself. But it's just, like, not the most effective. And she's talking, she's saying similar stuff. Like, we've already kind of been here, done that.
Starting point is 00:54:43 And if you're going to do it, this is just me. I'm like, you got to lean all the way in, like a blank space. Take it all the way. How would you take it all the way? By just like playing into the character of it.
Starting point is 00:54:54 Like instead of being like, yeah, you guys think this about me, you think I can't dance. Like go all the way. Be the character. Go and then see to the stars. Just yeah. What? Just go full throttle.
Starting point is 00:55:03 Like look what you made me do, a song that you recently performed. I love it. Yes. It goes full into like the villain. Like literally she samples the song from Mean Girls because everyone was saying she was, mean nasty evil witch.
Starting point is 00:55:15 So she went full dark mean girl. Like go all the way. I haven't heard it. I can't judge. But it means I'm like she's going there. Oh, why Cleveland? Why is it called Cleveland?
Starting point is 00:55:23 Because it's where Travis is from. So the point is like, oh, but he already took me to Cleveland. Right. Right. And when you hear this song, you will feel like you heard it a hundred times because the problem is that AI, I think,
Starting point is 00:55:36 is trained so much on her music and her voice that let's say if you make an AI song now, explain how trucks drive. So they make those songs and it sounds like Taylor Swift, the vocal and the thing. So now her song sounds like the AI songs. And everyone's, yeah, I was like, this sounds like AI. Well, yeah, because they're trained. Yeah, they're putting Taylor songs. And it's so it's kind of hilarious.
Starting point is 00:55:57 The people put it side by side and it's one to one. AI is wrong. My dad swears by AI. He thinks AI is literally God. He'd be like, Moses, when my car busted, most like, my dad's like, I'll go fix the tire. And I was like, well, the mate back doesn't have a tire. And my dad's like, no, I just asked AI and it says it has a tire. And my dad's literally like, oh yeah, Moses was right.
Starting point is 00:56:13 I was like, yeah, Moses is a human being who runs his car every day. Yeah, it's my car. I know. He was so like, no. And there's nothing you can do at that point. It's like, this is just how they're going to live the rest of those. He has the same. I was like, am I like not like, I started like questioning myself.
Starting point is 00:56:32 I know. And this is, yeah, 70, 80. This is this is the generation that loves an AI. There's nothing you can do. You explain it once and that's all you can do because it's just like. Oh, God. He'd always. asking, I remember for the I Heart Radio, kept asking if I was going, if I was going to win.
Starting point is 00:56:46 I'm like, it doesn't know. It's like, I don't say like, chances are high. I was like, okay, yes, because I have a lot of follow anyways, but. I love my dad, but then that AI will really get you out. Well, um, I like it. From me explaining it, you like it. I think so. It sounds kind of good.
Starting point is 00:57:03 I, yeah. I think maybe you have a target audience. Do you have the lyrics? Like, he did. He did. No, but the paragraph like before that where you kind of have to fill in the blank. Oh, yeah. Oh, there's blank space for you.
Starting point is 00:57:15 You said you want a blank space? Yeah, she kind of like, let's you feel in the blanks. She was not as hot as she was, but she was only a four. She was never a girl's girl. She was just a picnic. Hoar. Wait, so is it really blank? Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:32 Oh, that's fun. That's fun. God. I do love that actually. Oh, my God. Wait, was there another film of Blake? There's one more. That's kind of fun.
Starting point is 00:57:40 And with all of that money, why she dressed like trash? When she smiles, it's annoying. And have you seen her? Flat ass. Yes. Yes. Wow. That's great.
Starting point is 00:57:51 That's fun. That's fun. I love that you're living for it. Listen, it's not for me personally, but I'm glad someone out there. I think so. I think so. It's better than Oscar sent me a TikTok of James Charles. I think right when we finished recording.
Starting point is 00:58:05 And you're like, do this. And it did really well. It got millions of views. Thank you so much for being my social media manager. The SWIPBees were running with that because James was in distress that he had this release planned for, I don't know what song is for sure, and I refuse to even fact check myself. I believe it is 5150. A song, mind you, he's been promoting this day. He went, when he was at Coachella, he was doing listening parties for this song. Like from his phone,
Starting point is 00:58:30 like, hey, everyone listening? He had the DJ play this song at a Coachella party. And I know because we reacted to that vlog. Yes. So my, this song, been out, baby. Like, we got to move. Like, when's the next era? We have Taylor Swift going through. through eras every freaking three seconds. I'm here. I'm over here. I'm with my next second K-pop era. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:58:49 Yeah. Like you, the girls are like going through the eras. They're delivering. I have a Christmas one coming out. Exactly. He has been pointing this. Is there anything else left in? Is there visuals for music videos?
Starting point is 00:58:59 I don't think so. I went to go look and I was like, where's that music video? Exactly. He is kind of giving, in his cover, he was given the show girl. Like he was sitting in the crowd with the spotlight and stuff. And then now he's releasing on the same day. He was like in distress about it. He's like, I had this plan and Taylor Swift is,
Starting point is 00:59:13 surprised dropping her whole encore edition the same day and now like she's going to bury me. Maybe you've been buried. Even without Taylor. Yeah. You are buried. Nobody knows the song. I see lots of people talking about James Charles. No one time about this song.
Starting point is 00:59:26 I went to go listen too and I was like, it's just not good objectively. It's just not good. And the second I saw everyone cloning on him on Twitter, I was like, you need to make a response to this. That's great. Yes. Yes. It did well.
Starting point is 00:59:39 And I also was in distressed. But everyone did tell me I was going to. clear Taylor so they manifested that they did say no one even cared about the James Charles part they were just like you will clear Taylor and I was like thank you so much first then there were people who were streaming both they're like yeah got up early to stream Treshay yeah you did both yes I did both yes I appreciate that yes you know it's hard to compete miss rachel also came out with a song oh my god yes and that's really hard to compete because she's miss rachel's rachel yes it was bumping in our house though we were playing apparently taylor swift was also bumping
Starting point is 01:00:08 in her house we had miss rachel taylor swift and me so it's hard to know which one won actually because The kids do love Pontchuk step, but they were, they do love a Miss Rachel, specifically Aquaman loves a Miss Rachel. And apparently Moses was streaming Taylor's. He loved Cleveland, yeah. I didn't know behind my back, I guess. He's like, I'm going to listen to Cleveland. I was like, oh, sounds good. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Well, I saw another Swifty, a huge Swifty on TikTok also say he didn't like it. He's a really fake. The Swiftologist. Yes. Wait, what do we feel about him? Why did you say it like that? What he said? That was crazy.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Oh, because he's very infamous, a swiftologist, yes. And he didn't like it. No, he's very critical. but I I think he's he's a stand he's been like an OG stand like from the beginning and but he's not like
Starting point is 01:00:51 he doesn't mince his words let's say that like he's very succinct and he'll say like what he feels and he's pretty critical I mean it depends whether you agree or not like some people I even if I don't agree with his takes which I do agree with him a lot of the times but even if I don't agree with
Starting point is 01:01:07 him I still can respect it because the way he voiced his opinion it's very eloquent and he has things to back it up like he doesn't throw shit out there like he backs up whatever he's saying smart about yeah and you guys aren't agreeance about this you both hate this new yes we both we do hate we both are cleveland haters for sure there's some i love the song babylon that's my favorite it makes me cry every time i hear it he does not live for baby so you saw the ticot or you just saw his review i watch yeah he's on youtube long form and i always love a good yeah i love a good swiftologist i love that i love that i love you just
Starting point is 01:01:42 listening to all that. Yeah, I was listening, Evolution of a Snake. Shout out when I was getting ready today, actually. Is that a new one? That's his podcast with his co-host, Madeline, who I also love. I want you on that? It's like a podcast sequel on. Are you saving your podcast interviews?
Starting point is 01:01:55 I don't, I... You got to save them. You really are getting so many views for every other podcast. You really need to save them for the big ones. You know what I mean? I mean, this one I approve of, but I was looking at some of your appearance. I was like, wow, I'm a little awesome. You were the first.
Starting point is 01:02:07 Is Adam McIntyre? You were the first? I was like, well, you really are. Yeah, yeah. Because we were planning our November, December, and I was thinking, obviously, the flopcast. Oh, you know who? Kokomoko, was she at the VMAs? Because I saw her at a red carpet.
Starting point is 01:02:20 So maybe that's where I saw. I saw her talking to Slater. Would it be VMAs? Yeah, that would definitely be VMAs. Something about Cocoa, too, when I think about people coming on, I was like, Flopcast. Oh, Flopcast was talking about something. Were they talking about Taylor Swift? Who were they talking about?
Starting point is 01:02:35 They did talk about Taylor recently. It was ahead of the album coming out where they were manifesting her. flop accidentally. They were like, I fear it might flop. They do have strong flop sense. They really do. Yeah, it's their sixth sense. Floss sense. I do love that. Yeah, yeah. Love flop class too. Oh my God, I've tried to mention the beginning of the show. How far are we in? Okay, we're halfway through.
Starting point is 01:02:53 I forgot to mention. I have, tried to do it at the beginning the show, whatever. New queer dating show is casting. I've had so many people ask to, like, to get in on this. So, okay, so me too. That's where it came in when you're talking about swiftologist being like a stand, but like critical. And I'm like, I appreciate my stands that are critical. But I will say, There are some stands too that also, not even stands, Jeremy.
Starting point is 01:03:13 Like, just people texting me, Ezra from Dancing with the Stars. Like, my Pilates instructor, like the guy who works at the gym, I was like, damn, like everyone, I think Ben, Ben Verde. I think he was like, I'm like, like, so many people. Benji, there's so many people that were, like, reaching out. So I don't know how much. I think I have some say in the casting. Anyways, so I'm hosting a new show for a major streaming network. And it's called, well, we don't.
Starting point is 01:03:40 The name's not out. But if you go to, is it queer? I'll put the thing. It's queer singles. Dot casting crane.com, I believe. You guys can go, okay, you have to be, the reason you have to be local in L.A. is obviously for the dating,
Starting point is 01:03:50 but also we're filming in, like, a couple weeks. We're filming in, like, two weeks. So we're filming it. We're going to, we're doing a bunch of episodes. It's going to be fun. It's like, a fun dating show. It's like, think of, like, the old MTV. That's what I was just saying MTV is dead.
Starting point is 01:04:03 But, like, think of, like, the old, like, dating shows that are quick and fun, you know what I mean, that are just, like, fun, spontaneous dates. but basically this is like you don't like basically like dating with like your best friend. So basically and also me, I get to help pick too. So it's basically like, you know we always talk about like Love Island and Bachelor. I'm just like, oh my God, where are all the queer people? Because like at least in L.A., like everybody I know 100% queer.
Starting point is 01:04:24 Like I don't really know straight people or I just don't like associate with them and I also don't want to watch them date. Like that's the worst thing ever. So this is like everybody. Okay, everybody apply and it's I don't know. It's just going to be fun. So basically it's like if you've had trouble with like love and you want to be. your best friend to help you and like me to go on the date with you. Like we're going to find what's best because I really do think I know what's best,
Starting point is 01:04:46 especially for my friends. I feel like it's really good. So anyways, if you are queer and you're in L.A., I guess you could be willing to travel to L.A. too, I guess I don't know if you're going to be here in the next couple weeks. It's a one-day shoot. So we're doing multiple episodes, but it's a one-day shoot. And yeah, just tell us why you're looking for love.
Starting point is 01:05:03 And I meant to mention at the beginning of the episode, but if you made it this far, I'll mention it next time. But we're casting now. We're on it. We're quick. we're casting now and apply today. Who did you know that was applying?
Starting point is 01:05:14 A lot of people. Andrew TMI, texting me. Oh. These are great guests. I should tell them. I'm like, we just have a all influencer. Celebrity edition. Celebrity edition, yes.
Starting point is 01:05:24 I have, is it women to or just, is it? Every queer. Okay, work. Women, non-binary, trans, asexual, bisexual. I have a lesbian friend who asks me. More lesbians, the better. I wanted an all lesbian season, to be honest. but we'll get there.
Starting point is 01:05:40 My other gay friend, Nick, asked me, yeah. I keep seeing TikToks, too. Everyone, like, I keep seeing TikTok. Really? Could I imagine if I was just like just queer men only? Like, wait, what? This was all inclusive. Everybody, everybody.
Starting point is 01:05:52 It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what gender, non-gender, all of it. And I'm very excited. I'm so excited because, like, and everyone that's there, all my team, photographer, stylist, makeup, everybody is all queer. So you will feel safe and loved. And I'm really excited. We got a really cool house.
Starting point is 01:06:07 It's like, it just feels very. it just feels very dating show. Is it going to be a cruising room? Tell me, should we have one? What's a cruising room? No, I think you brought it up before. Did you? Oh, wait, I have sponsored by his snippies.
Starting point is 01:06:22 Oh, maybe. Wait, what's a cruising room? You cruise and just Sniff? Behind the bushes, yeah. Okay, no, well, it's not that kind of show. What'd you do after? We're finding love, okay?
Starting point is 01:06:33 What'd you do after? It's up to you. Yeah. If you go to a homeware store or the park or what? Well, go to Mr. Truck first and then we'll do that, you know. Yeah, we're trying to find love. And that's so funny that people reached out. Yeah, somebody who reached out to me too, like people I knew.
Starting point is 01:06:49 And I was like, I mean, apply. I mean, maybe I get a, you're probably going to say. I'll ask. Oh, my God. That's like, what if you really, like, find a pair that gets married? You would have to sing at the wedding. I think, oh, 100%. If you're getting married, I will 100% sing at your wedding, for sure.
Starting point is 01:07:02 I appreciate. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, let's do it. Done and done. I'm really excited for this. I'm really excited because I just feel like, this is what we need. You know what I mean? And I feel like there's a little gap in this market.
Starting point is 01:07:12 So I was super excited. I've been thinking about this for so long and I've been like trying to get it made. And so really to get like a show made, it's like obviously you have to come with an idea. But not only do you have to find like, you have to find like a production. And the production team that's working on this has done like amazing dating shows in the past. And then you have to find like someone who's going to like buy the show. So we have a really good like streaming platform too. So I'm really really excited. And I think it'll shoot out. It's definitely shoot October. I think it's going to come out in December. Well, that's quick. Yeah. So if you want to let me help you find love, go to Queersingles.Castingcreen.com. It's a really cool website too.
Starting point is 01:07:44 It's all like rainbow and fun. They sent me a little moonboard and I'm just, me and the rainbow working. We're just going to be rainbow and gay. And I love it so much. It's going to be really, really fun. So check it out. Thank you so much to Fabletics for sponsoring today's episode of Jess Trush. I am so excited that Fabletics as a sponsor.

I absolutely love everything about fat bloodics. I love the colors it comes in. I love the support it gives. I love that there's no chafing. My girls with big thighs, no. I love that it doesn't roll down.
Starting point is 01:08:19 Okay, you guys know I've been on my fitness and wellness journey for a very long time a year, which is very long for me to be committed. I do Pilates, I go on runs. And the biggest thing for me is not having to like pull down, make sure everything's in, things are falling out. And that's where I love Fablox so much. Fat Bluettes of caters to all the sizes, extra small to 4x, which is absolutely amazing.
Starting point is 01:08:37 I just love that it's also very easy to shop. You can do a monthly membership and you can pause and cancel it anytime, which is wonderful. But I love it because I love a new workout set all the time. And because it's so affordable, I can have a lot of good different outfits and different looks. And it just motivates me to work out more, which is just a win, win, win. And feeling supported is the biggest thing, especially again, being a bigger girl with bigger thighs, bigger chest.
Starting point is 01:08:58 I just love having the support so it doesn't feel like I'm falling out all over the place. It also holds up really well in the wash. Okay, I'm always washing my workout clothes because I really do. do a workout at least once a day, sometimes twice a day. And I love that it holds up and it keeps the softness and it just feels good. Starting point is 01:10:07 Huh? You're wearing the full set on... Yes, my fingers are skinny. I've been doing a skinny workout too. With my wrists and Pilates, I've also been doing fingers. I guess I've been able to wear the full set. I'm doing a promo today for my book, so I feel like I should show my...
Starting point is 01:10:20 This is such a big part of my story is the wedding ring and set. Yeah, it's giving Wendy Williams. It's giving big... Thank you for an unisoning. Full set of what? The matching set? I was trying to figure out what? Well, speaking of weddings.
Starting point is 01:10:32 Did you see our beloved TikToker sensation, Tarlin, Tara's World, she exposed the cost of her wedding? Did you see it? No, but I'm obsessed with it. I love that. She's always just, I feel like, is it to piss people off? Or just being real? I can't tell.
Starting point is 01:10:50 I think she's serving realness, but probably also knows the girl who says that she's going to be homeless, even though she owns two homes or has two homes. It's probably a little rage, Brady at the same. time. That is crazy. I'm going to be homeless. I have my Baller house and my Beverly Hills house and they're both $30,000 a month. I'm working. I'm a girl. Sell it for less, girl.
Starting point is 01:11:10 Like, that's what we do here. We just take a loss. Get some of that cash back. Then you're not homeless. Because if I don't tell this house in 30 days and I'll have no home and they're both foreclose. I was like, that's not how it works. You could sell it for a million if you really wanted to. You get something back. Like, I don't. Did she use the word exposed? No. I think the
Starting point is 01:11:26 she was just showing how expensive weddings can be. I believe, I believe Well, I'm here for that. I'm here for that because weddings are a scam. Unless you go to Disneyland, they give you an all-inclusive package, no hidden fees. Well, she broke down the cost. Overall, she spent $204,000, $200,000, $200,000.
Starting point is 01:11:47 I said that right? Yeah. And she said that she did not have it, and she didn't have to open credit cards to take up with the cost. But she's still paying it off. So you have to be raised, but what do you mean? You're saying you're homeless, you can't afford your mortgages. And now you can't afford the wedding. You had a $204,000.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Because like some people go broke like after the wedding, right? Okay, $204,000. Okay, that's corrupt. You already knew that you weren't at the little for your mortgages. You might be homeless. So like, why would you do a $204,000? Kind of a T, right? She's a conundrum to me, but she's a key to be honest because she is so out.
Starting point is 01:12:21 The place that I kind of live at first when I didn't, wasn't really familiar with her game. I was like, what the hell is going on here? Almost like a Michaela, where it's like once you're in on the joke, it's a lot easier to consume. And then it's like, okay, yes, talk about how broke you are. and how your blanket is infested with insects. Whose blanket was infested with insects? She was like, I don't have my living room furniture set, and it's going to take months for me to get a sofa,
Starting point is 01:12:42 so I'm going to just make a living room with what I have in the garage. And she got like a blanket or something, a throw blanket to decorate for autumn that was in storage or whatever that her cats used to use, and it was covered with, like, mites or something. But then the next one, she's like spending $300 at home goods. I was like, okay. Girl, I know, I don't get it at all. I don't get it.
Starting point is 01:13:00 I feel it might be a little rage-pady, but girl, be careful what you matter? fast what you're speaking is like I don't have any of this stuff I could be home it's like damn that all could come to fruition because I think your messy lifestyle is like and so maybe it is like rage bait and I love it first of all she didn't make a pumpkin loaf that looked delicious I did not see that it was like it was iced down too oh my god we need to try that for patreon cooking her lifestyle but awesome girl baking Tara's world viral I didn't send it to you I might have sent it to you actually
Starting point is 01:13:26 I was like you can do a good baking it was a pumpkin bake it was so everyone's making fall baking goods right now looks so good Anyways, yeah, I fear that also you just like manifest. She got married. I actually know the place she got married. It's the place in Malibu. It's the place we go to in Malibu. Oh, where are we?
Starting point is 01:13:40 Someone found our vineyards there. Someone found vineyards of me and Moses that even know existed. It was like the Paitis Hackman vineyards. And I was like, I didn't know. We had to visit it. We're no longer members there, but. We knew it was happening, but we never saw it. Yeah, someone sat on TikTok.
Starting point is 01:13:52 And that's where she got married. She got married at the place. That's also, Ace. Catherine McBroom got married to. Yeah. Oh. Oh, not to Austin, but her second one? Yes, to Igor.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Yeah, I don't know. Did she get married to Austin? I don't even think that. Oh, you're right. I forgot about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, and then Tara, yeah, it's a place called Calamigos. It's in Malibu.
Starting point is 01:14:09 It's really nice. It's like you can go there even if you're not a member. I think we joined for like a year and then it just was so hot there. It's beautiful. It's really nice. I like it. But it is a popular place for weddings and that's where I think she said, I think she said, if not. Yeah, I think she did.
Starting point is 01:14:21 She said, yeah. She said Calicos. She said Caligos. She said, yeah. And do you want to guess how much she spent? For the venue alone. Oh, venue alone. I can't even imagine.
Starting point is 01:14:32 We did four seasons. That was 100,000 minimum. So I would guess this might be up there with that. 100,000. I'd hope less. Maybe I'd hope like 75. Just the venue. Just the venue was 40, 214.
Starting point is 01:14:41 Not including the food. So that's no food, yeah. That would be just the venue. Just the venue. Yes. Just the venue. And it wasn't, she said it was an 85 person minimum. She only has 75, but she still had to pay.
Starting point is 01:14:51 Did she how much the food was? Yes. She said catering was. was $17,573. Okay. That's not bad. Yes. And she said it was like family style, food was out, et cetera.
Starting point is 01:15:05 Oh. For rooms. Like buffet? Yeah. I guess family style. That's kind of what it implies, right? Oh, interesting. Yeah, just big containers of food.
Starting point is 01:15:15 And then she said for rooms, she paid $9,774. For rentals, she paid $23,04. She hired a videographer And she was charged $12,000 Then a photographer She was charged $8,994 Okay, not bad For flowers she paid $19,720
Starting point is 01:15:40 We couldn't afford flowers at ours For a DJ, she paid $3,693 She also hired a content creator Because she was like, you know, I'm a content creator But it's my wedding day Oh, that's smart So I need someone to do the content for me she paid $2,000.
Starting point is 01:15:56 For her cake, she paid $2,194. She also hired a wedding planner that she stands 10 toes down for and says that helped a lot. And that was $14,000. Her dress, she paid $6,000. Her hair, this was a point of contention. She paid $850, but... Slicked Back. It was a slicked back pony that, you know, Jojo C-Wa does herself every damn day on
Starting point is 01:16:20 to clock, you know, so... A slick-bought pony for $8.50 is crazy. That is insane. That's actually insane. And her makeup, she paid $2,100. Who was her makeup artist? It was Alexis Oakley. Alexis is my favorite person in the whole world.
Starting point is 01:16:35 I never paid $2,000. You my makeup team, I think it paid $500. I mean, that's kind of insane because it's like makeup. But we don't know what the whole thing. Maybe it's like three days or something. And if she did like the bridesmaids in step two. Yeah, we don't know. Because maybe she was there in the station.
Starting point is 01:16:53 making, you know, everybody, wherever she wants. Context, you're right. Okay, damn. I've heard crazy stories like that, though, where, like, makeup, not Alexa, but hair and makeup could be, like, 3,000. Also, 8.50 for the slipback, like. That, that does get me.
Starting point is 01:17:05 You have to take it into, okay, but maybe it's a whole day. Maybe you're right. The DJ is getting 3,000, so you don't think this is her face. This is what she's going to look like in a wedding. Yeah, but the DJ's all day. So maybe if they're there all day, okay, maybe you're right.
Starting point is 01:17:15 Mine were just touch-ups, like, okay, yeah, maybe. Yeah. So, yeah, totally over 200,000 for me. Oh, okay. Overall, it's not bad when you did our breakdown. You don't even want to know our breakdown. Our breakdown was crazy. That was my first thought, because I got a lot of ads of people telling me to bring this up,
Starting point is 01:17:32 but I was like, I fear my own Trisha Lynn could let. Yeah, I might end it all. I might end it all. I remember our budget being $200,000. I was like when I was like making money and then I wasn't making money and the budget, I was like, it's supposed to be $200,000. But like, okay, that was our budget. And then it ended up being like $400,000, which our, Terras was beautiful.
Starting point is 01:17:51 Her wedding was beautiful, so totally worth it. We didn't have florals. We didn't have like, no. By the time we were like getting around to like, oh, how much could flowers be? It's like absolutely not. We had no more money left. We had a bunch of 200,000. And I think 30,000 of that was spent on curtains and photography.
Starting point is 01:18:06 This is crazy. No, the curtains were like $44,000. Clock. Jimmy, let me see if you can see those curtains. Okay, we had white, we had white sheer curtains. And that's it. That's all we had. No flowers, no anything.
Starting point is 01:18:18 It was just white sheer curtains because we spent our whole budget on curtains. unbeknownst to me and those we didn't get to keep them those curtains were taken down immediately at midnight they were like it's time to come down and I was like oh what the hell no lighting um yeah we um our photographer was 25,000 and then they're like you don't even get any of the pictures you just paid us to take the pictures you don't even get them we own I'm like what that how it's a scam wedding's are a scam I should done Disney to be in with because once again, all-inclusive. Yeah, they really just get you because you are in a vulnerable situation too where it's like you want the best, which is why we kind of had a big budget to begin with.
Starting point is 01:19:00 And then I thought $200,000 was a lot. And then it's, you know, once you've paid all that money out, then they're like, oh, well, this is on top of it. So you kind of don't know. Like to me, I had no idea. So I'm just thinking like, oh, it's $100,000 to be at the four seasons. That includes decorations and lighting and music. No, none of it's included.
Starting point is 01:19:15 None of it. You get the venue and the food, which was good. We never got the food. We never had to. Like our table was never served. Damn. Not even a to-go box. No, not even.
Starting point is 01:19:26 Well, we might have had a to go. Well, because after we were like, we did not get served even a, nothing, not an appetizer, not a dish, not a drink, nothing at our table. Did they do your cake too or you? They did do the cake. And the cake was actually really, really good. I remember the cake being really good. And then when we went back for anniversary, we were like, can we get some of that cake, you know, we never had our top layer or whatever? And then they gave the cake they served a year later was like not good.
Starting point is 01:19:48 But that was like really good the cake. And then, I don't know. I don't know. No, it was, um, wedding is in funerals. You know, it's the same. It's like it's an emotional moment. And they, it's a lot of emotional blackmail. That's true.
Starting point is 01:20:02 Yeah. And Moses came through. He was taking out lines of credits loans because I had zero credit. Very Tara's world. Yeah. Is that what they did? Yeah, she got those credit cards, baby. So yeah, that is that is the daughter.
Starting point is 01:20:11 Well, we messed out the credit cards. Then we had to do a line of credit. And it was really just because I wanted the Elvis impersonator. It was only 2000 for the Elvis and personner though. He was our best deal. Moses got that last minute. Everything else. Because that's the other thing.
Starting point is 01:20:24 Like you said, emotionally, you're like, okay, this is her big moment. She's been dreaming of a wedding. You want to give her the best wedding and all those things. And it's like, and then to end up with so much stress and anxiety at the moment that should be your happiest moment. Yeah. That's why it's such a crime. Ours was years later. We were still reliving the nightmare.
Starting point is 01:20:42 I was just like never, it was never ending. I was just like, oh, my God. Jesus when it's over. I will say, loved it because we got married. I do like I love I yeah I do love a wedding because it's like oh man you remember that with all like your special friends and stuff like that like that is fun I got to meet so many of your friends because we got we dated during COVID so I didn't get to meet any of your friends so I did get to meet like your college friends you're like all these different um people so that was like fun it's just we could have done it for way less yeah it got me thinking about my future wedding because I am very cheap um no my like that's a bad word to use you're your your your careful with your spending Panny Pinscher, I don't know. Responsible.
Starting point is 01:21:21 Like, I don't like spending a lot of money on things that are, like, fleeting. Like, if I'm spending money on something, I want to have it forever. Like, not just, like, memories and stuff. But so I was like, what am I work around? It's like, okay, entertainment. Don't I hear my two things for entertainment? Okay, well, obviously, you're the performer. Okay, done and done.
Starting point is 01:21:42 Hopefully your rate is complimentary. That's right. People do that. Oh, you know what? Glam does that. Like, if you know someone that's, like, their gift. Yeah, was I fully would take. I'll get you a gift too, but I'm just saying that's what they always say.
Starting point is 01:21:53 Hey, it's a $2,000 gift if you did your makeup. No, for real. And then for a DJ, I think I would like go to Tara Yomi, but like my make a wish is for Tara Yomi to DJ my wedding. I think she would. I think she would. I love her, yeah. So I'm like, okay, I got the entertainment covered.
Starting point is 01:22:09 That's great. Yes. And then venue is where I know it gets expensive and also dicey because my first thought was, ooh, the aquarium. But I'm like, ooh, aquarium is probably a little expensive. I love that. That's your first time. So maybe it's just like my fish tank.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Your fish tank, the four seasons has a nice aquarium. I wouldn't have one before season. That's out. They have a great aquarium though. You should check because it might be that a place that usually doesn't hold weddings would actually not be expensive. I mean, you can get the Korean mall for $5,000. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:37 You can get married to the Korean plaza. Okay. Or like you said, yeah, just places that aren't necessarily weddings. Yeah. But a lot of people just find an open, you know, like an open, space it's on a farm or some there's people that yeah and then you just build a tent and make a floor and yeah so you can save a lot of money we should honestly just got married here we have all our events here yes it's like did you say that or did my dad someone wanted us to get married here no but at
Starting point is 01:23:04 some point you know it was mentioned but no it is kind of giving wedding venue here because you have the grand steps and stuff yeah we can make it nature there's like the pool the pool could turn into the dance floor you know oh my god you save a lot of money I'll perform. The venue's here. Yeah. Moses will cook his chicken fingers. And it's bullenaries.
Starting point is 01:23:24 You honestly could have got fierce, like you could have got Ricky Dillon to come. Because I don't give a what. Like you love that song. I know. That would have been everything. That's your first dance song. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:23:33 What would be your first dance? Hmm. Can I have Taylor Swift impersonator for you? I love impersonators at her house. You can impersonate. You can sing Cleveland by Taylor Swift. That's true. I have the air is.
Starting point is 01:23:43 Body suit I can come out in. Or the black dress. I can wear that. I have that too. Yeah. Done. Your wedding's done and done. Yeah. Easy. Because at least, thankfully for the girls like you and Tarlin, I feel like are the cautionary tales.
Starting point is 01:23:58 So that her wedding looked great though. At least she had like a beautiful wedding. And I, if you look at our wedding, it literally looks like a conference because we had like no lighting, nothing. Like it literally is just the brightest lights with like the blue floor that comes in the forest. Like it literally looked at a conference. But, you know, at least hers looked like beautiful. These her just looked like a wedding. Ours looked a little.
Starting point is 01:24:15 And I never bring him up. But I think Ted should. appreciate your wedding. Who? Ted Nivison? He has that statue and the voice and everything. Yeah. He's very tall.
Starting point is 01:24:27 I know you're thinking, oh, what if he says? Oscar, don't get married. Marry me and I know. First of all, I think that's a dear thinking. Yeah, he's dreaming about it. Like, if somebody is objective, please say no now. And then he throws the Bible and says, no. I always is thinking like perspective though.
Starting point is 01:24:41 Like he's so tall. We'll build the stage. You know, he gets to look short. We'll be at the stage. He'll be at their level. their level. They step up a couple of steps. Oh, I'm at the pool?
Starting point is 01:24:50 You don't know that he's behind the stage. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It would be cute, though. I like that.
Starting point is 01:24:57 Yeah, Ted's not a bad idea. Well, we'll just bring everyone who's ever been on the podcast. Yeah. Oh, my God. She's been here. Yeah. That'd actually be cool. Your wedding is just a birthday party, really?
Starting point is 01:25:07 That's so fun. Me and Benji will cook. Oh, my God. Benji. I want to make Karna Sala with him. Great. Karni's son. Yes.
Starting point is 01:25:14 Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Moses and Benji would really have catering covered. Fierce. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:25:20 And you guys can make content out of it. Like, I wouldn't stop you. Oh, we've got to be streaming live. We're going to be a streamer. That is actually so funny. Wow, this is going to be great. Yeah. Cost you nothing.
Starting point is 01:25:31 You have the cheapest wedding there is. Yeah. Period. I'm like, you know, it's coming together. And I'm sure you can get sponsored. Everyone gets an engagement ring sponsor now, so I'm sure you can get an engagement ring. Oh my God. I've seen so many people be like, thank you so much to this person for, like,
Starting point is 01:25:42 Michaela, when she got her wedding ring upgrade. Oh. You got a rubber one. What? You remember? You got a rubber one? Did you remember those like rubber rings? Like there's...
Starting point is 01:25:51 You or me? Me? I don't know. They send us a box, but they're like plastic rings. Wait, who did? Who sent us a box? This company that makes... I don't remember the name.
Starting point is 01:26:00 For our wedding? Mm-hmm. Oh, that's so funny. Have it upstairs somewhere. Wait, why did they send you that? That's so random. I'm trying to remember. I don't know, but they're like comfortable.
Starting point is 01:26:10 They're like comfortable rings. Oh. Yeah, you don't make rings in there. Yeah. I just don't wear rings in there. I just don't wear rings in there. I got to start wearing mine because I'm married. But, um, I know, I don't want to, no damn think pieces.
Starting point is 01:26:21 If you see an Oscar Gracie wedding sponsored by a chic or whatever that I don't, I'll do an ad read before the vows. I'm like, okay, it's time for the vows. But first I'd like to give a shout out to our sponsor. Like, I'm not opposed. I was saw in a second. But that should be any of ours, you know, I was so anxious about this. An integration. Thank to no CD.
Starting point is 01:26:40 I love that, honestly. I would love to sponsor for our wedding. Anybody. I would love it. Like when she, Alani will be the drinks. Oh, yeah. Yeah, we have your whole wedding.
Starting point is 01:26:51 Tea. I'll do it. I ain't opposed. Live stream tickets on Sikh. And I will put up with the think pieces, sure. Sure. Yeah, who cares? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:59 So you brought Sidgik. We do have a beef with them. They're still using your Getty image from Big Brother UK. Seek? Yeah. How? For your events. And people were like, sitig, come on.
Starting point is 01:27:13 There's so many new Getty image. God, yeah, there's like so many slays from the Emmys. Why that one? That picture gets crazy. Please let's take it down. How do I get those off of Getty Image? Those Big Brother ones will haunt me forever. That's why I go to, like, push those down to, like, get new ones.
Starting point is 01:27:29 Damn. It was not too long ago on this very program. We were scheming away for you to get a good Getty image. Yeah. Look at you now. Wicked. And they only gave me one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:39 Oh, right. The very first one. The very first one. I even have a screenshot of it. This is on CDIC. Oh, yeah. geek use any other photo but that that one's crazy that looks so oh my gosh you know what i saw someone tagged me in um kim kardashian posted a photo of dream in chicago did you see this oh my god my head went to dream the face reveal guy i was like wait again with my pillow i saw someone
Starting point is 01:28:06 clip that and they're like this is so random because it was so long ago and i it's in my head and i love to interview to it's side by side dream Kardashian and i think it was Chicago West and they were in Elsa dresses. Did you see them? No. First glance. Okay. I should show you the kids first. Wait. Holy crap. I literally thought that was Elvis and Malibu. Wait, that's them. Isn't that crazy? Yes. Dream especially looks exactly like Malibu. That is crazy. Isn't that crazy? Did you see it? Oh wait, what happened? No, I didn't see it. You just got a little pop up. How do I do that? Oh, I won't let me show. Okay, well, I'll do it. I guess you'll just see it from here.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Yeah, the further away you are, the more. Yeah, I literally... Yeah. No joke, I thought that was Elvis Malibu at first. Isn't that crazy? Why did they look so much like them? That's nice. And it's not just the hair.
Starting point is 01:28:59 I mean, the hair is curly, of course, like that, but it's like their face too. Yeah. That's wild. Dream especially. Crazy. So much like Malibu. I had seen it. Someone had sent it to me and I was like, oh my gosh, that's so crazy.
Starting point is 01:29:09 I don't have that out. I'm like, gosh, you know, sometimes I really do want to be spending and Moses is like, no. But I'm like, I need that because I'd probably go broken. again. Yeah. Got to save that money. Yeah. I think that's why again, I'm very grateful for all the cautionary tales around me,
Starting point is 01:29:23 which really trigger me to be as responsible. I think you've always been pretty good. Even since I met you, I feel like you've always been. Yes, the school that thought of just never checking your account and just always assuming the worst. Which I thought was crazy. But then I'm like, I guess Moses doesn't check it either because he's like, why? Why is it?
Starting point is 01:29:39 He goes, oh, because you said, because I was trying to explain to her. Like when I was broke in college, I would never check my car because there was nothing to trick. And it would piss you off and ruin your day. Yeah. And the other thing is we don't buy all the time things. So there's no activity. There's nothing to check.
Starting point is 01:29:53 And for her, it's the opposite. There's constantly activity. So you need to check. But also, there's a hundred more percent you're going to get scammed because you enter your credit card in every website and every place. Well, now I do wallet. I do the out of day. Sure. But all I'm saying is like for us, there's no reason to check because there's nothing to check.
Starting point is 01:30:13 Yeah, most never checks either. It's so crazy. I literally check like three times. I'm always checking my accounts. Because he also... This family is on the brink of Civil War. Mobland, the hit original series is now streaming on Paramount Plus. We are the Harrogans.
Starting point is 01:30:27 Don't know the net? And Google us. From the underworld of Guy Ritchie. Do you want to step up the ladder? I won't come up dead. Starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. Do I have to do everything myself? You want to want?
Starting point is 01:30:42 I'll give you a more. Moblad. New season is now streaming on Paramount Plus. Purchasing 10 times a day. No, that's not sure. I've gotten so much better. You, babe. No, I've gotten better.
Starting point is 01:30:54 So much better. I do need a new car. But I don't know what I'm going to get. Maybe I'll get a Nissan or something. I don't know. They're good cars. Get a nice pink Nissan. They make them or wrap them?
Starting point is 01:31:05 You have to wrap them for sure, but. I don't know about a pink Nissan. Maybe a pink, no, nothing. Corvette. I think it's time for. I always see that pink Corvette in our area. Aunt Angelines. I saw it at Ralph's yesterday. She must leave just passes because she's always on the 101 passing.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Yeah, yeah, I always see her too. I don't have anything crazy, but I don't want to start a feud. Start a feud. I love a little feud. I don't know if I do. Well, how messy is the feud? I love like the lighthearted, like no one cares feud. I think it definitely is a no one cares feud. But I like weirdly cared a lot about it that I almost made a TikTok. I was like, because it really, okay.
Starting point is 01:31:44 Is what I showed you or something else? I don't know. Did you show me this? I don't know. I don't know if I saw the actual clip. I think you might have told me about this, but I don't know if I saw the actual clip until last night, and I was, like, made a video. Because it's like, I don't care.
Starting point is 01:31:53 People can talk so much to shit about me. Of course, because, like, I am, I've been awful. I can still be awful. I don't really get, I don't get things right a lot of times when I talk about people. But you know what? I saw a clip of two podcasters talking shit about my co-host, Oscar. My co-host, Oscar.
Starting point is 01:32:13 Oh, I didn't even see this. Emmy Award winning who's went to school for journalism he's the actual journalist and give me another podcaster who's a journalist Well, those definitely exist In our world In our hot goss world
Starting point is 01:32:26 You know what I mean And I was pissed off I was pissed off because we've given these girls A benefit of doubt So the podcast is The Toast Oh, I didn't see you know They okay so you told me they responded But I don't like to
Starting point is 01:32:43 I don't really care I was someone responds like whatever I don't care whatever So they did respond And I'm not even trying to be shady because I think they were, okay, here's my issue, right? So they just were like, oh, Tricia talked about some on the podcast. Of course, out of context about Derikov. The one co-host was like, obviously, because there's one that has a little bit of a
Starting point is 01:32:58 how to take them the other one. And she's like... And then Tricia Pateis talked about it on her podcast, like, also complete context. And she has like this, not a co-host, but like this guy who sits in the quarter for episodes and he's like a journalist and he's like supposed to tell her all the facts. And he just like watched a clip. It's like, those aren't the facts, sir. Obviously, people took that out of context, whatever.
Starting point is 01:33:14 And so they were saying we took it out of context, which we do. And then the other co-host was like, yeah, she even said that she didn't see the full context of it, whatever. It was pretty lighthearted or whatever. But what I didn't like is they were like, oh, and you know, and then you know that guy that just like sits in the corner and just like correct Trish. I was just like, what do you mean the guy that sits in the corner? The guy that steers the entire show produces these segments. If you saw the notes, your producers would be quaking because I guarantee your producers can't do half of what Oscar does. He does notes.
Starting point is 01:33:42 He does bullet points. He is researching on, like, he is. he is entertainment. Been working entertainment tonight for 10 years, Access Hollywood before that. Like, he is entertainment. He's a journalist.
Starting point is 01:33:50 He's boots on the ground. He's co-host. Okay. He is the host. He derives the show. He is. But what I don't like, okay, I get it,
Starting point is 01:33:59 because I don't know these two girls' names. I don't. And I'm not even trying to be shady. I just don't know their names. But it's like they know everything else. They're like, oh, you know the guy that sits in the corner that, like, corrects her that does this.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Like, they kind of know everything about you, but they're just like, oh, the guy that sits in the corner. I was like, but you know everything else about him. Like, they did give details on like everything they knew about you. Oh, he always, like, corrects her and he feeds her the topics. And he knows, like, they know the whole format of our show. And I was like, okay, well, you know Oscar.
Starting point is 01:34:20 Everyone, everyone knows Oscar. If you watch the show and you are clearly watching the show, you're not just watching clips like I do. Like, I don't know. I don't watch the show. So I don't know like be any of your guys' names, you know, anything like that. But it's like, when they say stuff like that, I'm like, that's just being, being, like, mean, that's just being, like, annoying and petty and rude. But it's just like, it's just like, it's one thing if you don't watch our show or whatever.
Starting point is 01:34:38 And you'll just be like, oh, you know, the other guy, whatever. But it's like the guy that sits in the corner. First of all, not the corner. So where's the corner? I'm in the corner. There's a corner. But they know he corrects everything. He knows he gives me the information.
Starting point is 01:34:50 He knows it. Like, they know everything you do on the show, which is producer, co-host, uh, pop culture. Like you are, you know, you arguably know more about polyclulture than anybody else in the world. That's specifically them. They really don't. You know what I mean? And I'm like, so I always give them a better for the doubt because it's like, oh, out of contact. And they said that too. They're like, they, someone clips their hottest takes. And it's like,
Starting point is 01:35:08 well, the hot takes are awful. Like, arguably. Like, there's no defending, you know what I mean? There's like no defending it. So it's like, I don't like when they're being, because we can be, whatever, we can be seen as like little like, sassy or snarky or whatever. It's like, we're not like rude. I'm not like being like, oh, the two girls, nobody knows. You know what I mean? The people that no one's ever heard of. Like it's like I, you're, we say, oh, the toast. We gave you credit the toast. They get clipped. That's it. You know, I don't know. I just don't like it. It made me actually pissed me off so much because I was just like, you're obviously. You're obviously fans. You're obviously fans. So you know Oscar. Just say Oscar. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:35:39 And I fear. I mean, I didn't see it. And they're lucky because the reading would be fierce. I guess she's the same. The same. She's coming. Yes. This isn't the comment. They're like, she's coming. They're lucky I don't have a wig on. And they're lucky I didn't see the clip in which they were talking about me because the reading would be. And I'm familiar with their tone just based off of the clips that I've seen in which I already would have been pissed off knowing. what I've seen of the other two takes. Mind you, I was the one that was triggered by Derek Hoff and ended up flipping and being teamed the toast randomly.
Starting point is 01:36:12 So it's like two girls talking about other clips out of context, baby, because I understand they have like a daily show. I had to go and see what they were up to before they responded. And I was like, oh, no, they post like every day. I mean, kudos to you for posting every day. What the hell? But mind you, again, let's not going to be or we don't compare to reference myself because like, shade.
Starting point is 01:36:34 I can get more views on a vlog than you can get on the toes. So like, let's just be a little bit mindful and let's like pay our dues, okay? Like, I know these girls have been around a long time. They've been podcasting a long time. I know they yap and they get clipped out of context, whatever. And I said that too.
Starting point is 01:36:50 I was like, mind you, I'm probably just seeing the worst of what they, of the offerings. And they know. They said that clip was viral. Like they know they were getting hate. She like everyone's giving me hate on this. So we're not doing anything different than everyone else because that clip was awful.
Starting point is 01:37:04 And I know my place, and I think, again, that's where the disparity is. Like, I know my place. I'm not trying to be mainstream influence or whatever. I like my role as the support, the side character, whatever. Because I don't think you are at all, but I know you think you're yourself that way. But don't try to clock my tea. You're not going to come over here and clock my tea because baby, the readings and the lashings will not be even. It's not a fair playing field because I've done a little bit of research and you don't even want me to get into who's funneling the money in the toast and where the parents are and all of that because it can get real nasty.
Starting point is 01:37:33 if we need it to be. If we need it to be, it can get nasty. Get away, get away. Burned that toast. Burn the toast, period. It can definitely get a little sinister. I was like, I don't want a feud. Burned as full on feuding.
Starting point is 01:37:47 But, listen, I can keep it cute as well. Yeah. So I would suggest the two dolls, like, they keep it cute. And I'll keep a cute over here because we don't want it to get to the level in which the readings are full and fierce. You don't want an Oscar reading. Yeah, put some butter on that toast. Exactly. I love the toast.
Starting point is 01:38:03 puns coming over here. I do. I'm trying to to. I do love the assist trying to come into. I need to be standing behind him. And Oscar's so sweet to take it. You're so nice.
Starting point is 01:38:14 I'd be like Moses and you're just like so sweet. Because it's a key. It's like very unsurious. It's unserious. But let's just keep it cute. Don't get disrespectful. That's you. Everyone knows Oscar.
Starting point is 01:38:27 And if you just know. And you know, you know Oscar. You know what he does for the show. You know that he drives the show. You know all the hot topics come from him. So it's just like. don't say the guy in the corner. Maybe there's no corner.
Starting point is 01:38:37 There's no anything. Like, you know what I mean? Like, it's Oscar and that's it. And that's on period. And that's why I was just like, that's kind of crazy. Like, again, like, I feel like you could say. It's also like,
Starting point is 01:38:46 if they just phrase it and the other than that one guy. Like, wait. Of course. Yes. Yeah. Because Dave, Fortinoy,
Starting point is 01:38:52 whoever I don't even, like, I very much don't give a gap about Dave Bortonney at all. But he was like, and who's that guy. Like, that's kind of funny to me. Yeah, when he was like trying to beat up.
Starting point is 01:39:01 But also it's Dave who probably doesn't know because they're clearly watching. They know you feed me the topics. They know that you like correct me. They know like all the things. So they clearly watch. It's like, it's not like Dave who like has no idea. I would take even in the gay who feeds her. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:39:12 Like, but keep it cute. Like if. Keep it cute. Yeah. I know. I didn't like it. I was like a little. I was actually like a real like it rub me the wrong way.
Starting point is 01:39:21 And I guess maybe it's just their tone. And that's why people don't like them. Like maybe it's just the tone. I don't know what it is. But if there's something, it's the delivery. And I don't want to beef with you girls because, you know, girls supporting girls. And I like, I love the podcast. I love the idea of your podcast.
Starting point is 01:39:35 Be nice, though. What do you love most about it? I love that there's two women gossiping. I do like a bold take. I do like people who aren't afraid because I can be. It's like very flopcast. I have a space in my heart for annoying women. I do.
Starting point is 01:39:50 Me too. I love an annoying woman. So be nice to us because we like you. We like you. Also, I guess a Mani and a Laura, that's what you showed me, the Mani and Laura Lee. Oh, I did see this. Oh, I did see this one, yes. Laura Lee asked Mani if he would come on the podcast.
Starting point is 01:40:05 I think they were reading fan questions or something. Okay. Yes, for context. See what Oscar does? He provides context. You got to watch the whole thing. He knows. Oscar knows everything, which is so smart.
Starting point is 01:40:17 Okay. Yeah, they were, I saw the clip, and then, and Mani was like, I don't know. And then Laura Lee said she would, but she is scared that I would. bamboozle her. Yeah. Which we never do. Like I don't remember even one time that you treated a guest that way or... Oh, definitely never treated a guest that way.
Starting point is 01:40:37 But I think she knows me as laurly, you're dumb. Loyalty endings being served on YouTube. For no reason. I had explained the lore to Moses because I don't think you knew fully because I was like, oh, well, first of all, let's go with... And then she... Okay, to her credit, she's like, I don't want to talk about the past. But I was like, but that's kind of fun.
Starting point is 01:40:55 because what I was saying to you is her fear was I don't want to like she's in a good place so she doesn't want to go and just like bring up the past but I was like but our past is so camp because it's like not that serious it was definitely once I definitely did not know her and she didn't know me but it was just like and to me it sounded silly
Starting point is 01:41:11 and like I knew of the iPad story but I never knew who the person was oh yeah I gave him that Lord but even before that she like I don't want to bring up the past but I mean she's talking about like I don't want her to bring anything She did an apology video that wasn't relevant to Steve because it looked like it was fake tears. And then I did a video in my 2017 glory
Starting point is 01:41:29 where I was just like, you stupid. And for no reason just being so mad at her. I was like, that was a fake apology. Get nicer. And then me just being canceled like a month later and also just like apologizing. So it was really weird. I was really angry at her for no reason.
Starting point is 01:41:42 And then years later, two years later, after that we went to Joey Gosef's party and I brought gifts that were over the budget. It was iPad and a Bluntz, Yaga. And then she got the iPad. And then she gave away the iPad. So we need to get back to iPad gate. No. For real, though, I was going to send her a message.
Starting point is 01:41:57 And then I was like, no, you should just talk about a podcast. But I was going to send a message with Laura Lee. I think you're very sweet. And I would never, never be mean to a guest. I let everyone have full thing. Full edit. And I know what you mean. Like I know what, like bringing in the past.
Starting point is 01:42:10 Like you don't want to talk about the past so much. But it's like our past was like never that serious because we didn't really, we never met. We never met. We were in the same vicinity, but we never talked to each other. And I love that you guys. I love their podcast because it gives nostalgia. Like I feel like we both appreciate Amanda and Laura because we were. were like in in the days of them with Jeffrey and you know just the messiness.
Starting point is 01:42:28 I feel like maybe that's part of the pastures. That's what I was thinking is like maybe it's more of that because I was like ours was kind of like camp and I could apologize for making fun of your apology video because like why did I do that? That was no reason to like she was trying to be sincere. But I would love to know like we're. You feeding into her fears. But I was like, but maybe that's how she cries.
Starting point is 01:42:51 Do you know what I mean? Maybe some people can't. produce tears, but they're sad. And I get that. My sister's kind of like that. Like, she'll be actually sad and she like want to cry but can't produce tears. So maybe there was an issue with that. Just because I'm a great cryer doesn't mean everybody is. So maybe she was actually sorry. She probably was. I'm sure. Yeah. And you know, I get it though. I don't have to bring that up because I already brought it up here. So if you come on, I can we can just cut straight to the iPad drama. And I think that's fun in camp. I think that. And I think that. And I appreciate what
Starting point is 01:43:16 you guys are doing. And we both were in 1988. Because we both have Lorily 88 and just like fish 88, although I heard that I'm not, I should have, anyways, that's a whole other thing. That's getting canceled for our birth years. Everyone's like, you should have 88 in your name. I think it's like something weird. I don't know. I need to take it out. Maybe the OCD again. Now, now it's, yeah, I keep like seeing it now that I'm like aware. Damn, you're right. I know. Well, that's why I appreciate the toast and the flopcast girls because they're not afraid to get canceled.
Starting point is 01:43:45 I am. Me and Laura Lee are hanging on for dear life. We're like, don't cancel us. We've been there done that. So anyways, I think a pot-twop could be fun. I think having Laura and Manny come here will come on. Full coverage. Full coverage. Great name. Love it. You know, I think that's where it's at.
Starting point is 01:44:04 And I appreciate you guys in all sincerity. I do apologize. I was messy. And I didn't know either of you. And congrats on still being here. Because honestly, influencers come and go. And you guys went for a little while. But you came back.
Starting point is 01:44:20 And I love a Lori Lee. She has a vacuum built into her walls, and she makes a million TikToks about her just vacuuming. And you know what? I'm seated every time she vacuum. Can we come over and do a collab with that? Do you know what? We have a vacuum in our wall?
Starting point is 01:44:34 Yeah. Where? We just don't use it. Where? Alt has little flaps on the wall. It's a central vacuum. We just never use it. Let's start using it.
Starting point is 01:44:46 That's everything. You can make TikToks. Yeah. But nice. We're vacuuming today. Babe, why aren't you making TikToks with it? Can it work? I didn't know it wasn't by her thing.
Starting point is 01:44:55 I don't think so. I think it's just an Oscar really liking it. I think they hit because Laura can's making them. So I would assume. Yeah, I assume they hit. Girl, I'll bring a Dr. Pepper.
Starting point is 01:45:03 I know she loves Dr. Pepper. I, I, um, Manny plays volleyball. And Mandy's looking for love. Do you want to come on the queer dating show? Wait.
Starting point is 01:45:11 Honestly, T. Mani and Benji. Yeah. I saw Mani. He was hitting a shot with another, um, how to go?
Starting point is 01:45:18 I think he I forget whose podcast he was on he was talking to somebody and then um they like have are they like are responding in content you know like because the other one's a streamer so he gets on us and he like hints about like dating or whatever so everyone's like kind of shipping them so you can get the tea on that oh i do love that's us beefing in content we're like oh was like just wait for the podcast oh yeah yeah um man he's very good looking I never understood why he because he does talk openly about struggling with dating and can't find a boy different and you're very good looking and successful and um that makes it hard sometimes that does make it hard yeah too good of a catch maybe him in chris olson what's the age gap
Starting point is 01:45:58 i think they're kind of close no that may be a good one for you influencers who get influencers maybe a guy in finance from manny maybe sometimes you find someone completely different oh mannie's 35 wow you look great yeah i would thought yeah oh and laura's my age because she's born 88 so she's she looks great yeah and you look great too everyone looks great thank you very that I don't know if I look as good as Laura, but we'll have a look off when she gets here. We'll see who looks better. No, she looks really good. She's always looked good.
Starting point is 01:46:26 She's always been teeny tiny. Girl, come on the podcast. We are looking to pre-film a couple podcasts, so we'd love to have you guys on as guests. I think that'd be great. Yes, no Dollar Tree videos with us. Is that what they're known for? The Jeffrey Star Shard Shoe. Oh.
Starting point is 01:46:46 You shady. You're shady. Last few minutes. Yeah, so that was all our mentions. I do love it. I actually used to like hate hearing mentions, but for some reason that one of the toast, I think I was tagged a lot in that one of the toast.
Starting point is 01:46:59 And I think that's why I watched it. Someone said they responded, but I never, I thought it was like unsirious. The comments are hilarious. I feel like maybe unsirious just didn't like the little unnecessary. I mean, me and Derrickoff are. Catching. Yeah, Kachin's strange.
Starting point is 01:47:13 And she said she got a lot of backlash, but I don't think she knows the backlash of Oscar Stan. So they do not mess around with Oscar and neither do I. So I think an apology. Yeah, me Derrickoff and Alex Earl all teaming up against her. That's right. Yeah, well, that one was the craziest take, but that's for another time. I'm going to cut it a little short stay, but we're going to be extended because we don't want to miss you guys.
Starting point is 01:47:34 But lots happening. Follow me on TikTok. I'm about to go on a big journey this whole week. This week is going to be crazy. I'm traveling like three different places. So come follow me. Follow Oscar. You guys are TikToking.
Starting point is 01:47:45 You're influencer now. So we need to start. Yeah, yeah. New vlog this week though. New vlog. It's about renovations and the future. Is that what's going to be called? Maybe, actually.
Starting point is 01:47:59 I like that. I like it, renovations of the future. Very optimistic. Yeah, Moses' cooking videos. He didn't even have time to edit this weekend, which is kind of crazy because we had a slow weekend, but you had no time to edit. You were very busy. So check out Moses cooking videos, although I'll be gone, so I guess you'll have time, lots time to edit. But a great tomato soup.
Starting point is 01:48:13 Oh, that's exciting. You like tomato soup? Yeah. Yeah. He puts cobwebs in there too. Oh, yeah. Wait, that's exciting. With Ghost grilled cheese.
Starting point is 01:48:20 It was really good. So check that out, you guys. And, um, Malbu could be a good DJ for your wedding. She was DJing this weekend. Oh, we do. She's like to DJ. She does it through her iPad with her little, she had turntables.
Starting point is 01:48:31 She's really good. Fear. She's on a pity of her. Yeah. And she plays the songs and does the sound of thing. Yeah. That is fierce. So maybe her.
Starting point is 01:48:40 Oh my God. In addition to, depending on you get married. Yeah. She might be a full gone adult and out of the house. But no pressure though. People don't like what I pressure you to get married. Sorry, there was no pressure. It's just fun.
Starting point is 01:48:50 We're just daydreaming. Love a wedding. Anyways, guys. Thank you guys for being here. Go to patreon.com. slash just Trish for extended applied to my queer dating show today. And we'll scrang on the kitchen floor and all that. Love you guys.
Starting point is 01:49:00 See you next time. Bye.
