Starting point is 00:00:00 But people were being so mean about it. But I'm like, no, I get it. It is such a, it is like a career defining opportunity. I think I would be depressed for the rest of my life. And also probably as an actor, you're probably used to a lot of like, you know, no's in life, I guess, right? But not like this. This is your role.
Starting point is 00:00:14 Jeez, I'm trying to help them, Cameron. Like, okay, duh. It's not that bad. And you being like, no, this is it. This is the role that, yeah, that's, yeah. I guess you have to go to therapy or something. I don't know, like. Her name is Trish, she's got the fish and all the gossips.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Filthy rich, pretty and pink. Hot topic queen and says what everybody thinks, she's just Trish. Yay. She thinks she's just Trish. Yay! Hello! Welcome to the Just Trish podcast. And let me tell you, today is jam-packed with hot topics. I mean, I think it could be five hours long today.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Each one could be a title and a thumbnail. It's back to back to back hot topics. I'm wasting time with the intro. We have so many hot topics. I'm so proud. Thank you. We have no hot topics. In fact, we have a guest coming. You're talking about popcorn buckets and crumble.
Starting point is 00:01:16 That's going to fill it. An exclusive interview about the popcorn buckets. The craze that is taking over the globe. It's taking over the globe. And we had a viewer who, this is the second time writing in that has impressed me, who collected every single movie theater piece of merch from Wicked for us. Before the movie even came out. Before the movie came out, he went crack of dawn, the right when it opened to get all
Starting point is 00:01:37 these. He had all the receipts for me. He's like, these are all the receipts from AMC, Regal, Cinemark. He's like, and if you don't want them, I can resell them. I can do it. He, on it. So Ben is joining us later today. He was impressed.
Starting point is 00:01:48 He was our food runner that I talked about a couple weeks ago that I was very impressed with all his resumes that he sends. So he's coming on later. I couldn't be more excited. I didn't even tell Moses until this morning. I set up a guest chair and he's like, who's the guest? I was like, the kid with the popcorn buckets. He's like, okay.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Because I didn't know if it was a good idea to invite someone to my house, but he seems nice. He seems sweet. You know, I trust. He had a bunch of resumes and phone numbers. So I was like, yes, we'd love a reference. That's what it was. So I was like, honestly, I could reference, but I trust someone who gets me all that information. So he seems very sweet. Even the popcorn bucket video he made to show me like proof that he had all of them was unlisted. He wasn't even doing it for cloud. He's like, I'm just doing this video to show you. I sent it to Oscar. He was like, I can't wait to see you and Oscar eat popcorn out of this.
Starting point is 00:02:26 He was very excited and I'm very excited and I'm always just so impressed by, I know it sounds weird to say, but like the intelligence of people that watch us because I always just think it's kind of like,
Starting point is 00:02:34 people, you know what I mean? But there's always like the most highly intelligent, like so sufficient, efficient, all of the efficient watching us
Starting point is 00:02:42 and I'm like, that's so cute. And he looks young and he looks great and I can't wait to talk to him. He's driving up from Orange County today so it's going to be us. And I'm like, that's so cheap. And he looks young and he looks great. And I can't wait to talk to him. He's driving up from Orange County today, so it's going to be good. You guys, Patreon, we're going to have our crumble pies.
Starting point is 00:02:52 They came out with a fleet of pies this week. We're going to try those on Patreon this weekend. This past weekend, we did Friendsgiving. It turned out to be like a big fancy thing. Moses tried crispy potato recipes. It became like this really extra thing that we weren't really planning on doing. The DiGiorno pizza, I'm not going to tell you how it is.
Starting point is 00:03:05 You'll have to go watch. I don't know, but spoiler alert. Yeah, we missed you, Oscar. You needed to be there, taste everything with us. Yeah, it's a fun time. Elvis, Malibu, everyone makes a little appearance there.
Starting point is 00:03:17 So check that out. And then we have headshots coming next month. There's a music tier. I'm literally shooting the music video tomorrow. The Patreon exclusive music video. Patreon put budget behind this. They got stylists. They got, they did custom outfits. I'm, I'm a fast food worker at a very custom fast food chain. They got fast food. Like it's very interesting. They put budget. They had a Grammy award winning
Starting point is 00:03:36 producers. So I'm filming that music video tomorrow for the music tier. Patreon's popping. Patreon.com slash just Trish and so much more to come on there. And then also, oh, Pink Christmas comes out this Thursday. There's no episode this Thursday here on JustTrish because we want to give all our crew time off. And I don't know, I guess there's no one who watches videos
Starting point is 00:03:58 that time. Pink Christmas is coming out on the main channel. My new song, which is going to be amazing. Oh, and I'll be in San Diego December 5th. You guys, you know what a Miss Christmas live. I have been going hard in rehearsals. And let me tell you, it's actually a really good show. Yesterday we put it together with the dancers for the first time.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And it actually looks so impressive. I was like, this is, I had so much joy watching this. We have a former JoJo Siwa dancer dancing with us. Yeah, very cool. I love her. All of it's amazing. It's great. It's actually such a good
Starting point is 00:04:25 show and I like want to hype it up, but I just think about all the TikToks, everything that's going on. So I'm like, we have to make it the best show ever. Hired a great tour manager. Like, it's going to be such a good show. I'm actually like really excited about it. So tickets are selling quickly for San Diego. So it's our only show that still has tickets available. No more Christmas live after this. So check it out. Next week is our first show. So that's exciting. So check it out on Ticketmaster. And oh, I have a new game.
Starting point is 00:04:52 What do you mean? Sold out already. Well, you don't have it anymore. I don't have it. It's sold out. It's the official relatable one. My sister's like, is it actually part of the game? And I was like, yeah, it's their expansion pack.
Starting point is 00:05:01 It sold out within two hours. And they ordered a lot. So I don't know how that happened. Good price point. It was like $6.99, which was a great price point for it um this was fun we also play this on our patreon so check it out it was actually really fun i was surprised how fun it was yeah how fun like it's actually a really fun game right i don't think i played i think only my sister had played what do you mean like no one had played in our family before i just knew it was a big game so i was like yeah sure let's do the expansion pack but it was so much fun actually we had so much fun we even set up a camera on top so
Starting point is 00:05:27 you could see the cards and we only used the trisha ones we used different captions from the other game but um yeah this was available they're good they're saying they're gonna restock these i don't know i hope so they're cute everyone really liked these and in the meantime you can get the actual box and then add it to it because i mean it just yeah i don't get any royalties from this one no i know but that's know, but that's a game. But that's a game. Like, it's really fun when you have so many cards and so many captions.
Starting point is 00:05:49 It's really... It's fun. ...enjoyable game. Yeah, it was fun. We like laughed. We played it for like an hour. It was pretty good. And finally, for my announcements,
Starting point is 00:05:58 the new podcast, which is not really a podcast. We look at it more like a TV show as how I view it, but Not Loveline is out now. It premiered today. And we just kind of threw that together within a few weeks. I don't know how. It's chaos. Like, it's just like, it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Tana's like, let me look at the episode. I didn't like the photo. I was like, whatever, let's just throw it all up. So we figured it out. I don't know. Yeah, but you don't see the chaos. Like the show is well organized. Is it good?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Okay. And it's so beautifully structured. We filmed four episodes a day in two's so beautifully structured and we filmed four episodes a day in two days two days we filmed eight episodes like we were i'm talking about tana tana was like on it hardcore changing outfits like she was and then she like went to go film canceled after like she was really she's really hustling um so it was also a show that's really evolving like the you can sense how the calls get better and like it gets better and better every time like yeah we're doing voicemails but we are looking on a patreon tier to get live
Starting point is 00:06:50 callers to come in so anyways um it's it was a lot of fun and it's great we give relationship advice and i i think it's fun i think that's some pretty good i like i said to tana like i was impressed at her show the advice she gave and i'm still impressed by the advice she gives on this show like she's actually like so smart there's so many things where I'm like, that's actually like a really good point. Like I am just like one minded, whatever. Like I'm, I'm the one who's like the toxic one in the relationship. I'm like, ah, it sounds great. But Tana has really good advice actually.
Starting point is 00:07:14 And how like, and I don't know, I was actually, I'm very impressed by her always. Um, so it's fun. I like it. I like hanging out with her and, um, go watch it. I think you're going to help a lot of girls. You're going to help a lot of people. Yeah. And boys.
Starting point is 00:07:27 A lot of boys called him. And it's a lot of fun. So go over there. Oscar has announcements. He's a vlogger now. I didn't know this. He's like, do you want to be my vlog? I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:07:39 Oh, my God. Look at all these new ventures. Vlogging is making a company. All these new ventures. Yeah. Yeah. Everyone said I should do Vlog company. All these new ventures. Yeah. Yeah. Everyone said I should do Vlogmas. And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:48 I kind of got in the Vlogmas spirit randomly because I saw a lot of other people do it. And I'm like, I could do that. But I think vlogging is making a comeback.
Starting point is 00:07:55 I really do think. You tapped out. You retired from vlogging. But I think everyone is like tapping back in. I think this is the time to vlog. I tried Vlogmas when
Starting point is 00:08:02 Malibu was born and nothing flopped harder like it literally was like 8 000 views it like cost me money to vlog this because i was like paying for like lunches and stuff to show the thing and i was like this literally nobody cared nobody like i hope it's making a comeback you said you adam mcintyre remy yeah probably alicia i'm sure it's not started yet has it people are already getting a head start like it's right around the corner, you know? I think it's a scam.
Starting point is 00:08:26 It used to be, like, you get the high ad since in December. But, like, for us, it just hasn't been the past couple years. I don't know. So, good luck. Thanks. I was shook. I was shook. You were like, oh, you're going to make a vlog?
Starting point is 00:08:38 I was like, what? Because I'm, like, on, I'm pretty much on the pulse of Oscar craves. And I know everything that's going on. And I have not heard of this. This is breaking news. Well, I just decided last night. So, I don'tves. And I know everything that's going on. And I have not heard of this. This is breaking news. Well, I just decided last night. So I don't know. How's it going?
Starting point is 00:08:49 Well, good. Good. Yeah. Yeah. I kind of had a little bit of a mental breakdown filming it because everything was kind of going wrong this morning. Very you last week. Everything like a domino effect of things going wrong. And I feel like I documented the spiral. spiral you know it was just like every clip it got more and more chaotic
Starting point is 00:09:09 granted there's only been like five clips so far but each each moment got a little more chaotic but then the jersey came moses delivered the jersey and i was like okay things are turning around so it looks great on you have you vlogged before no i've i've vlogged Proxy by Joey Graceffa who is like I feel like a really good vlogger. That's how You were like in it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Or like in the background of it. Really? Or around. Did you edit the thumbnails and everything? Yeah. I did all those vlogs. You are going to slay at vlogs
Starting point is 00:09:37 because I do think it's all about title and thumbnail and you are very good at that. Like that's one thing you excel in. I mean well lots of things but whenever I think of Oscar as an asset, obviously on-air talent, we love. But then I think of like the title thumbnail.
Starting point is 00:09:49 I'm like, he really does nail those. Thanks. Thanks. Yeah. I think it's the journalist in me kind of pops out. And it's like, you know, what's going to get people to stop in their tracks, you know? Yeah. Don't get stuck.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Like the whole point of like you post every day. You just whatever. Yeah. Are you going to post every day? No, absolutely not every day. Wait, but that's Vlogmas. I know. But it's Vlogmas light.
Starting point is 00:10:12 You know what I mean? Here and there. It's here and there. I was like, too. I was like, Oscar, we love, but also perfectionist that, you know, has trouble getting things. But you know what? A lot of people like that. Tana's like that.
Starting point is 00:10:22 She's like, I have notes. Me, I'm just like, whatever. Just get it out get it out get it out and you are very particular it's a good exercise for people with OCD
Starting point is 00:10:30 honestly T I think with this I don't really care as like I'm gonna I think vlogs the fun thing is having it be a little bit messy I guess
Starting point is 00:10:39 but yeah I just don't do enough in one day to be posting every day like it's mostly work I think the secret is like prolonging so like if you don't do enough in one day to be posting every day. Like it's mostly work. I think the secret is like prolonging. So like if you don't have enough to fill it in, like just sit in your car and talk for like 10 minutes and then everything else can be like a minute.
Starting point is 00:10:53 You know what I mean? Because that was my issue too. Don't you eat lunch or dinner every day? Yeah. True. Yeah, there you go. Are you doing mukbangs in it? Maybe.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Sure. Why not? I love filming myself eating. Like no matter what, like I do more on TikTok now, but I just, I love filming myself eating. Like no matter what. Like I do it more on TikTok now. But I just, I love filming myself eating. I don't know. It's like fun. It feels like you're sharing a meal with somebody.
Starting point is 00:11:09 It's fun. What are you going to have tonight? You don't think about what you're going to eat tonight? I want Olive Garden. But I kind of like, what's the one we go to? Marmalade too. Do you go to Marmalade Cafe? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Oh, you went to Thanksgiving there one year or something, didn't you? Christmas? We always do like Father's Day or Mother's Day over there. Yeah. What do you get? Pancakes, I think. Oh, I've never had their pancakes. I get the fried chicken,
Starting point is 00:11:29 but you have to go out for 3 p.m. Is this super long? I'm literally like, okay. There you go. That was a whole vlog. All the hot topics coming. Okay. Love it.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Yes. Well, that's exciting. Is it going to be on your gaming channel? exciting is it gonna be on your gaming channel or is it on a different one you gotta plug it I just did 20 promotions well this is gonna be so unhinged
Starting point is 00:11:56 because I it's like literally the vibes are like all over the place I feel a little crazed cause we're gonna be choppy too we're gonna get the crumble pies halfway
Starting point is 00:12:03 and then our guest is coming, and then we have to do Patreon and ad reads, and it is going to be all over the place. It's going to be – anything can happen. That's how you have to market it. It's a show where anything can happen. I feel very emotionally unhinged. I can laugh. I could cry.
Starting point is 00:12:17 I could fight all in one day. Fight? Who are you fighting in here? I don't know. Mr. Beast, maybe. Actually, I don't want to get sued, so maybe not Mr. Beast, but someone i don't know okay we're just we're ready for anything yeah he seems so sweet a boxing match with me and ben i guess you went up that would be everything actually in my alphabet jersey with the buckets on your head oh yeah with the buckets
Starting point is 00:12:40 oh the oh my god i was like who's got it? Yes. Popcorn bucket Ben. Yes. I was so confused. I was like, I was going with it. I was like, yes. Yes. And. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Yes and always. Improv. Today's the first time I'm excited about crumble. You're excited for the pies? Yeah. Because they're finally not a cookie. They're good at what they do, but it's going to be something. I know Oscar loves pies too.
Starting point is 00:13:02 That's your favorite dessert. I love a pie. I'm going to get the six pack. I think today I'm going to get everything. I know Oscar loves pies, too. That's your favorite dessert. I love a pie. I'm going to get the six-pack, I think, today. I'm going to get everything. I'm excited. I'm excited to try it. I'll get a double six-pack so you can bring some home, too, Darren. Okay, tea.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Speaking of journalists that put titles, so I don't know about this at all. I really just thought if you write an article, you just title it what the article's about. That's what I always thought. So I did a – oh, gosh. Okay, so I did a – I did press for my What Do You Mean? They set it up. They have a PR oh, gosh. Okay. So I did a – I did press for my What Do You Meme. They set it up. They have like a PR team, the relatable whatever. And so they were like, do you want to do an interview with us weekly?
Starting point is 00:13:29 And I was like, yeah, sure. Let's do an interview with us weekly. So I did like a Zoom. Did you see this? Oh, I sure did. Okay. You know me. I love promoting everything.
Starting point is 00:13:37 I did too. Did you, huh? You saw it? I did too. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So they're like, it's going to be about What Do You Meme.
Starting point is 00:13:42 It's going to be this. Okay, great. So in my head, I'm preparing the What Do You Meme people are on before the Zoom. I was like, okay, so these, you know, talk about the memes, talk about this. I was like, okay, great, great, great like, it's going to be about what you mean. It's going to be this. Okay, great. So in my head, I'm preparing the what you mean people are on before the Zoom. I was like, okay, so these, you know, talk about the memes, talk about this. I was like, okay, great, great, great. So that's what I'm preparing for. And we do. We talk about the memes at the beginning.
Starting point is 00:13:52 And then like, this is, this is what's so weird. And it's not like tricky. And by the way, I love the guy who wrote the article on Us Weekly. Like love, love, love him. He's like, anytime you need promotion, like let me know. I was like, great. So like, great. But it's, they're so tricky, right?
Starting point is 00:14:04 Because they like ask you questions. And it can be like a second in the conversation, a second. So he's asking me questions and he's like, Oh, have there been like any like celebrities that have like, you know, cheered you on in your career? And I was like, no, not really. Like I did say that. I was like, not really. He's like, no one's ever mentioned you. I'm like, Oh, I guess Chapel Rowan is like the biggest that's like mentioned me a couple of times. And then he, then we went, whatever. He kept asking me questions about Chapel Rowan and then I was like uh you know and okay also when you have a conversation on zoom you think I have conversations I ask them questions about themselves and vice versa like it's a conversation I don't think this is like going to be printed or anything
Starting point is 00:14:36 like that I was like god I do really love Chapel Rowan I was like you know I would just like love to be in her music video whatever like not thinking it's like this official statement when the article came out and the title was like what is it Trisha Paytas wants to be Chapel Row music video. Not thinking it's this official statement. When the article came out and the title was like, what is it? Trisha Paytas wants to be Chapel Rose Lavengers in the next music video. I was like, this looks so thirsty because why don't we communicate with her and her people? And I was like, oh no!
Starting point is 00:14:56 I was like, I had the last thing I thought. I was like, oh my god, please don't let her see this because it just looks like I'm a crazy person. Because we've DM'd. She likes my photos. You talk to her people. Like it's been one of those things where we're just like really cool with her and like whatever.
Starting point is 00:15:11 And then I saw that. I was like, oh God, like don't unfollow me. That's like the first thing I thought. I was like, oh my gosh, it was crazy. But the whole thing was supposed to be a what do you meme? And then the title was like Trisha Paytas wants to travel. I would love to. But I mean, that's like something we say here that goes nowhere.
Starting point is 00:15:23 You know what I mean? I'm like, I say it about a lot of things. And I was just like, oh, that was crazy. That was sneaky. I was like, I thought this was a what do you mean article. And it became that. We do our titles. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:15:36 You have to mention somebody once. It did give me Oscar vibes. That is the secret. Because like last week, everyone's like, Tannenberg aren't even in it. They were. We did talk about them. The podcast. the cast podcast is happening so they were i think that too at first when i was reading the comments like oh i didn't talk about them we're just gonna have to know we didn't i even forgot to i was like which because we filmed for so long too i forget like what's in the patreon and what's in the uh like regular episode and i
Starting point is 00:16:01 was like wait was that at that point i was like you know what I'm right I'm trusting my instinct just give him something to look for again where was it where did it mention but yeah it was in there it was a and that's really all that matters and I kind of knew when we talked about it too I was like I'm in a mental note I was like oh this should be the title why not yeah that's a good
Starting point is 00:16:20 one we'd love it the channel is always as good in the title that's why I was like let's start a podcast like she always does very well. So that's where that came up. But yeah, so I realized that today. It happened a lot to me. The articles will come out and it's like the title is something so vastly different than what I thought it was about. But I guess that's journalism for you. It is. Yeah, it is tricky because obviously you want to be like respectful, but then you also it's tough because you have to get clicks, you know?
Starting point is 00:16:47 And it's like sometimes the PR-friendly thing isn't the thing that gets the clicks, you know? But it all ends up going, you know, like if it draws clicks to the website, then that means people are reading it and then seeing about what do you mean or like whatever, you know, the celebrity is promoting. So it's all like a little circle of life kind of moment you know yeah like even our titles sometimes i'm gonna get a call about it or something like that i'm always like a little nervous but i like i like i get it i respect it i like just retweeted his post i was like i'm not gonna like post about it too much. It looks like I'm a little thirsty, but it was great anyways. Thank you so much to the sponsor of this episode,

Starting point is 00:18:46 And I'm sitting here like waiting for you to bring it up. Literally in the alphabet jersey. I'm sitting here like. Okay, yeah, let's go into it. So you saw Wicked. Yeah. I feel like you didn't hype it up enough, in my opinion. I didn't hype it up enough?
Starting point is 00:19:02 Well, because also she was like not allowed like not allowed you know her she's the biggest spoiler so she was holding back not to spoil anything yes yes oh my god wait so you thought i'm in love obsessed like i think it's the great definitely the greatest movie released this year i like i'm so excited i've only seen it once so far but i'm so excited to see it again you have tickets already not yet i have to figure out what date and, but I'm so excited to see it again. You have tickets already? Not yet. I have to figure out what date and stuff. But I think I'm going to see it again before I see anything else. Before Moana 2, before anything.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Wow. Oh my gosh. It has changed me for good. Part 2. It's not even in part 1. You're like, I got it. No, I've done a deep dive into the lore. I was like, wait. Because I know you've mentioned it a few times.
Starting point is 00:19:44 And I had little pieces from when you said it. And I was like, wait, the lore i was like wait like because i know you've mentioned it a few times but i was like and i had like little pieces from when you said it and i was like wait the lore and i was like connecting all the dots and stuff and seeing the tweets but it is literally the most beautiful movie i've seen all year like cynthia and ariana are so good in it like acting from like their head to their toes like it's actually insane how in character they are the whole time and i honestly have been holding space with the lyrics of defying gravity and taking power in it like unironically like there has been that one viral interview from uh a queenie and queenie from out yes who is in queer media um and they she had this interesting interview with Cynthia and Ariana where she said you know
Starting point is 00:20:27 this week people are really um taking space to the lyrics to define gravity and finding power in it and Cynthia and Ari were just gagged and emotional like wow that's really powerful uh I didn't know that that was happening I've seen it yeah and everyone was clowning on them but and even me too I was like this is like such a weird interview but then after i saw the movie and i listened to like defying gravity like on the elliptical in the car i'm like honestly i am taking space with it yeah yeah it is so powerful when you really think about it you ask me what's my favorite song from the movie defying gravity that's my first time watching i feel like anyone who's ever felt like an outsider it's like because
Starting point is 00:21:04 it gives you so much power right because you feel like an outsider you feel this you feel whatever and then once you like can take that power back and you're being like oh no that song always makes me cry like define gravity like i just and it's a lot the movie really expands it what's like a 20 minute sequence in the movie or something like that um and cynthia's version is like tearjerker so good like you said the acting in it is so good like the emotions and that's why in their interviews yes it like seems silly i feel like to a lot of like outside people but i good. Like you said, the acting in it is so good, like the emotions. And that's why in their interviews, yes, it like seems silly, I feel like to a lot of like outside people. But I feel like when you're really into it, like you get it. Because they're like, they are, they like embody them.
Starting point is 00:21:33 And it's just like, you know, I saw Ariana, I think it was on, I think it was The Lost Call, Teresa's one, where she was just like, you know, it feels so real. She's like, it just feels like such a real, like you're like that person and stuff like that. So yeah, Define Yourself. And people never heard it like it's your first time or hearing it i've heard it but not like fully and not in the context of
Starting point is 00:21:50 wicked like i've heard it out of context oh right and then so you got on that whole journey for two and a half hours and then that's like the final song and it's that it's it's so powerful and the way they did it was so powerful and it um yeah i see i want to cry too thinking about it because it's like because they do look it looks so silly on the outside but like it is like it's probably emotional for them because they like lived it and they're in it you know yeah and also it's like it's so much deeper like every time i listen to him like wow this actually is really deep like glinda being you know like um being submissive because it's her ambition you know like she'd rather be perceived as good rather
Starting point is 00:22:23 than do the work and be a good person versus cynthia who uh elphaba who is like you know doesn't care about being perceived as good but she wants to be the change in the world like she wants to do the greater good even if that means like going against the biggest power in the world like going against the system like she's not just defying gravity she is defying the system like wow yeah that's cinema that is cinema yeah it is so good so reflective of just like society and everything because it is and yeah yeah i don't like spoil it for anyone but if you go december 5th wicked is coming to pantages we got invited to the opening but that's my san diego show oh no i just really i know i'm so excited oh my god red carpet because
Starting point is 00:22:59 he hasn't seen it but if you go see the play you get to see act two so obviously you know what happens then after act one, which is like cool. And kind of knowing spoilers in this case is kind of helpful. It gets you more excited because you'll see the stage is so different than obviously the movie version. So I think if you saw the stage version, like you would know what's to come. And I think the second act is even better. But this first one is like, it is.
Starting point is 00:23:20 I love the shiz. I loved that whole sequence with like all the students. I was sad when they left shiz to go to Emerald City because I was like, no. Because that's the last time we'll see, like, Bo and Yang and, you know, those characters. So, I was, like, really, really sad. But what was your favorite part? Oh, my God. I honestly think, like, towards the end, like, Elphaba's big, like, superhero moment.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Because I guess John M. Chu said, said like he wanted that sequence to be like a superhero movie and it really is it's like so big in scale and like so powerful and when like the cloak is like surrounding her in the air i was like whoa that's everything but also um the opening sequence after seeing the whole thing i was like i keep thinking about that too like it is kind of like a full circle moment because at first i was like like, like, the witch is dead. I was like, oh, I thought it was a gag. I was like, she's not dead. Like, what? And then realizing like, oh, she actually does die. I was like, this is kind of insane. And everyone's celebrating her being dead. I was like, but no, she is like, she's awful. I don't know. Yeah, I'm unlocking the lore for the first time. And it's like a journey. So that's why I
Starting point is 00:24:22 see it again, because I feel like I didn't fully process as it was happening but now i can see it again like knowing what's going on and having more context but damn it's so good and then i really recommend seeing the play so you know what happens and then go see the movie again because then you get like so much more they did such a good job like putting every single song from act one into the movie i don't think they cut anything like dear evan hansen cut so many songs with like connor which is like such a like great moments which is, like, such a, like, great moment, and I was, like, so sad.
Starting point is 00:24:46 I was like, why would they cut so many songs? But I don't think, I don't think we could cut any, which is why it's two hours. But I really don't think they could have cut anything. I think all of it was, like, needed.
Starting point is 00:24:55 You know who doesn't get enough credit for this movie is Peter Dinklage as Dr. Dillaman. Oh, yeah. He's so good. He is really good. To, like, act with your voice,
Starting point is 00:25:02 like, feel emotion for this, like, goat, basically. Is he a goat? Yeah. Can I a goat? Yeah. Can I say that? Is that offensive? Can he call him a goat? It is over there because there are people that are against the goats.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Is he – are goats considered like – they're fine, right, to call him a goat? He is a goat. Okay. I don't know. Wait, what? Because I don't know. Like, you know, like they're not considered like animals because they can talk still. You know what I mean? Like, so I don't know. Like, maybe? Because I don't know. They're not considered animals because they can talk still. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:25:27 So I don't know. Maybe they're not animals in the movie. Maybe they're just considered beings. I think they're more like sentient animals or something. Like they can speak on the human level. Because it's a person. Like Narnia. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:38 They're a person. It reminded me what Joey Graceffa was dressed as at Halloween this year. Narnia? Yeah. It looks like the same kind of vibe. Honestly, tea. Yeah. I'd love seeing the stage version of it, too, with the animals as teachers.
Starting point is 00:25:50 I think that's so cool because the duet he does with Elphaba is so, so good. Who was your favorite character? Besides Cynthia and Irina, because I do feel like they are the stars. They should get all the credit, but besides them. I honestly – can I tell you my least favorite character first to start with i'm kind of beefing with nessa rose like that girl what the hell is her problem her sister is so sweet and has always like been supporting her as a little baby and she literally gives alpha but such a hard time like damn show some freaking support for your sister
Starting point is 00:26:22 and then i saw what happens to her in wizard of oz and i was like honestly girl you kind of had it coming because you are so rude like you are such a bad sister kind of what the hell you're kind of a brat oh and not the charlie way yeah no she's she is the worst it is funny people pick up on that because i've seen that discourse online from act one because like act one but like in the movie they did kind of make her even more than in like this in the in the show so i was like that's not interesting people pick that up but yeah she's kind of evil huh i didn't know because the actress is so sweet like marissa like she is so so sweet and i was like and like her as a little baby in the movie i was like oh this girl is like such a little cutie and then like seeing how she treats her sister always like yelling at
Starting point is 00:27:04 her giving her a hard time i was like what the hell is your damage girl like her sister is trying yeah which one is that in the wheelchair yeah yes because she's in the wheelchair she's like all because you're in a wheelchair doesn't mean you have to be rude to your sister your sister is green like i don't need the help don't help me like that but she was helping her not get help remember what the teacher's like right but at that moment you don't need the help. Don't help me. Like that kind of thing. But she was helping her not get help. Remember with the teacher? She's like, let her down. Right, but at that moment, you don't really see. I see what you're saying. Maybe she doesn't want more attention. Elphaba kept drawing more attention.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Maybe she was just like, oh, but just let me like live my life. Why do you have to be here? It's like, it's her moment. Why are you doing, why are you still here? What's going on? Yeah. There was a lot happening.
Starting point is 00:27:38 I could see that maybe overbearing a little bit, Elphaba. Not by choice, but she had to be there with her. I think I can see that. I blame the dad. It's the dad's fault. It is true. The dad true the dad is awesome sucks turn them against each other because he favors one well he was really awful yeah he really did traumatize alpha but but yeah i think also knowing what comes next with anessa everyone's a little bit because i think a lot of people looked up spoilers so i think it makes it even 10 times worse because she gets in a lot of trouble
Starting point is 00:28:02 we're gonna go see it i can't wait to go see it. I'm happy it's coming to Pantages. I want to see it like five or more thousand times. Yeah, she – yeah. I love all the special effects in it though. I loved all of them. Oh, yeah. All done very, very well. I love like the practical set too.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Like it wasn't a lot of like CGI. Like they really built a lot of like actual set pieces, which is amazing. John M. Chu deserves a lot of flowers because all the like the camera work obviously that's a cinematographer but the camera work was amazing yeah the how the like musical sequences and choreography were all like staged was all amazing that um the ariana sequence um the viral one what's the what song is that again it's like you are just too good i know i was waiting for you to do it too because i love what ariana does okay we'll redo it and i saw it too when we were watching i was like remember but i was so like trying to get the set down you nailed the choreography because the choreography is hard
Starting point is 00:29:00 it's a lot of like shoulders yeah and that it's a lot of like shoulders. Yeah. And that it's a lot of like coordination, but it eats. And then I'm going, Oh, like, Oh, I love Ariana Grande. I really do love her.
Starting point is 00:29:11 I really do love her. It was so surprising. Like how amazing her character was. So good. Yeah. And like you so nuanced, like I know she's going to get the Oscar nomination. I refuse to live in a world where she doesn't get the Oscar nomination. I don't know if she'll win.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Cause it's hard to win. Cause it's like a comedic role. It's also her first time. And I feel like the Academy always loves like – I feel like the breakthrough actress doesn't really get the award most of the time. Like look at last year. It was Jamie Lee Curtis and that was kind of like – she had such a small role in everything and everywhere all at once. Or I think that was two years ago. But she got the Oscar even though she had a small role, but it's more of like a career thing.
Starting point is 00:29:50 So I don't know if she'll get it. That's a good point. Yeah. But I think she should definitely be nominated. And I think she's kind of on a Lady Gaga kind of trajectory right now where she can be like a serious actress. Oh, for sure. Everyone said that.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Like Audrey Hepburn style. Yeah. Like that she's going to get all the roles she wants now because she is so talented. I really think, and it probably is not even close to being, but I think Michelle Yeoh could get for Best Supporting Actress. I feel like she deserves it because I hadn't seen her in anything. I knew she was very popular. I knew she
Starting point is 00:30:16 won an Oscar. Like, I know she's been in a bunch of stuff. I hadn't seen her in anything. And I was like, I was blown away by her. I thought she was, like, so good. And there's so many, like, great cinematic scenes with her in it. And I just think she's like so amazing. I kind of like wish she would get it too. I do think Ariana deserves it for sure. But it's kind of like Austin Butler to me where I'm like, well, of course he deserved it.
Starting point is 00:30:32 And they gave it to Brandon Fraser for the win. So I feel like it's going to be something like weird like that. But do you think Cynthia will win the Oscar? I haven't seen who else she's up against. But I think she should get it. And also she has a lot of, like, quiet moments. That's the one thing I'm worried about, is, like, both her and Ariana have, like,
Starting point is 00:30:51 their acting is so good the whole time, but they have a lot of quiet moments. Obviously, Cynthia has, like, a lot of big moments with, like, Defying Gravity and The Wizard of Nigh. Oh, yeah. But there's a lot of, like, subtle acting that she does versus, like, the more, more like dramatic roles that like the academy like usually you know gives it to like the big emotional performances like that i don't know
Starting point is 00:31:11 their performances have a lot of subtleties to it but i think she a hundred percent ariana i'm like 95 she's gonna get nominated cynthia i'd be like a hundred percent gonna get nominated it has a good chance of winning oh i feel like ariana has to 100% because everyone's talking about how good she is. And Cynthia, obviously, too. That's like the given for me. But I feel like Ariana has to because she is so good in this role. So good in it.
Starting point is 00:31:31 But I think Kristen Chenoweth said, too, like it's with that role because it's more comedic, like it sometimes isn't taken more seriously. So that's like the only thing. They have to, I feel. But yeah, it's so good. She's amazing in it.
Starting point is 00:31:44 And honestly, that press store really paid off. Everyone was like clowning on them for that press store. But damn, they made it an event. Like they made it like a must see event that everyone was talking about. Yeah, it was. It's so good. We're going to see it. Like during Christmas break, I literally have like three people I want to see it with because
Starting point is 00:31:58 I want to see it with someone new each time. So I just need my mom and sister. I want to take my dad. Like I want to see it new each time. And it just I can't wait to go see it over and over with the popcorn buckets. I love it, too. It was so cool. Each time I saw it was, like, amazing.
Starting point is 00:32:11 I love that everyone's so into it. I feel like it's such a relatable movie. It's, like, a feel-good movie. It's relatable. It's, like, a fantasy world. But also people are just like, oh, I get it so much. What did you think of Ethan Slater? Fine.
Starting point is 00:32:23 I mean, it was good. Really? It was good. I also, it was good. He was good. I also don't really like his character that much. Fuck. Because I'm beefing with Nessa Rose, but then him playing along with Nessa Rose, I'm like, damn, that also kind of sucks too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:39 So I'm kind of beefing with the two of them, I guess. Jonathan Bailey, amazing as Fiyero, 100%. I mean, so good. The dancing. So good. Oh my God. Him in the pants. He looks great in the pants. I'm excited for part two. Bailey amazing as Fiyero 100% I mean so good the dancing so good oh my god him in the pants he looks great in the pants I'm excited for part two to get more into the romance and stuff and he becomes such a bigger part both him and Bach become such bigger characters
Starting point is 00:32:56 in part two so I think you like like him more and then who else did I like Bowen Yang was so good could you hear his lines because I feel like when we saw the premiere everyone was laughing through so much that like you couldn't hear his like little like one liners. Oh, no. Yeah, you could hear him.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Yeah. I thought he was so funny the first time I saw it, which was like in a really small room. Like I really did think he was like a standout for me. I was like, oh my God, wait, he's like so like obviously he's funny on SNL, but like you wouldn't think in this like setting. I don't know, whatever. But I thought he was like so funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:19 And a small role. But like every time he was in like on the screen, like a scene. So good. Yeah. So is Bronwyn James too. I liked her with him because they were like right yes love which is like if you get if you see the stage play like those characters are almost non-existent like they don't even like speak i don't think so i was like okay iconic and as you said in your initial review could have literally in an alternate universe literally could have been us like i remember
Starting point is 00:33:41 you just saying that and thinking like oh you kind of always say things like that but then i was watching it and i was like no actually yeah it's literally our characters i'm very sad we didn't oh my god that really could have been us i was like damn maybe part two even though they already filmed it well i feel like they could because there's more wickedicked books, right? There's like literally like three of them, I think. I don't know the lore like that. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I just did a deep dive after seeing the movie and there's like three books, I think. So there's more that goes on. So interesting. So listen, Universal, John M. Chu, we are available and interested. In the sequel, Wicked 2, Wicked 3. He's doing a lot.
Starting point is 00:34:25 He's doing the Britney Spears biopic and he's doing Joseph and the Maze Technical Herd Dream yes would love to be in either of those those are two of my
Starting point is 00:34:30 biggest things oh my god Wicked Britney Joseph and he has Crazy Rich Asians 2 I think is also like
Starting point is 00:34:36 did he do Crazy Rich Asians he did the yeah that first one Moses keeps wanting to watch it every time we turn on Hulu he's like Crazy Rich Asians I don't know what it's about I thought it was like a TV show
Starting point is 00:34:44 like a reality show but it's like a movie I remember seeing Asians. I don't know what it's about. I thought it was like a TV show, like a reality show. I mean, I don't remember. I remember seeing it in the theater, but. Everyone says it's funny. Yeah, I just remember people praising it as being really funny. Michelle Yeoh's in that one, right? I don't remember. I think she won the Oscar for it.
Starting point is 00:34:54 She won it for Everything Everywhere All at Once. Oh, no. Okay. I feel like she might have been in that because I looked her up. I was like, what else has she been in? And I think she was in Crazy Rich Asians. I need to watch it because everyone keeps telling us and it keeps popping up on Hulu and Moses keeps wanting to watch it.
Starting point is 00:35:05 I'm obsessed now. I didn't know, like, I didn't know John M. Chu before this. Like, what else has he done? Crazy Rich Asians? He did In the Heights. I think that's the last, like, musical he did. That was, what, 2019? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Oh, yeah. I did see, I did see Lin-Manuel Post, like, text about how he, like, recommended John M. Chu to, did he see it? No, but that's something i feel like he would do yeah it was kind of weird because it's like he would show tax he's like you have to get john mchew for this i am the worst theater kid because i get steven schwartz and steven sonheim mixed up but i was like wait okay so um but i think he texted him like oh you have to have john mchew so he's like oh like and then the caption was very much like oh my gosh i remember recommending him for this
Starting point is 00:35:41 and i was like okay kind of i know weird but it's's Le Manoel Morales, so it's fine. Can't wait to see Mufasa. Le Manoel would address it. Oh, he did In the Heights. That's so interesting. That's one of the first movies we saw together out of quarantine, because like 2020, we didn't see any movies. And I think the first one we saw together was Girl and then In the Heights.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Right. It was like right after like once lockdown lifted. It was like one of the first ones, like 2021 or something. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You don't only see it in theaters and stuff. lifted it was like one of the first ones like 2021 or something yeah yeah yeah you can only see it in theaters and stuff and it was good um it was good it was good yeah i think it didn't do that well the box office obviously it was like right after like covid so that hasn't a lot to do with it but it wasn't like that critically acclaimed i don't
Starting point is 00:36:20 think it wasn't as big of a moment so this was like some people were like oh john and chew the wicked he could go either way. But I'm glad that he like nailed it. And now it's. It is interesting because like I watched In the Heights and of course I like it as like a theater person. But it wasn't anything like it wasn't like exciting to watch. And like Wicked is like the most exciting film ever. So I guess, you know, I guess you can't have like a banger straight out the box.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I don't know. It's also different. There's real world new york to a fantasy land and but i remember the choreography cinematography it was good into the heights i can't remember oh for sure they shot at the same time west side story was shooting in new york so it was just like one street west side story the other street in the heights and then also looking competing with that we saw west side story and i was like okay we saw like we're doing this in the heights when did west side story come out 2020 i maybe 29 maybe end of 2019 before the pandemic oh yeah i think i that whole time is like
Starting point is 00:37:11 a blur the 2019 to 2021 you're telling me 2019 is that year um that's so interesting oh my god i didn't know the lore of all this yeah i didn't really like deep dive into it but um but also i feel like the wicked craze has like raised a lot of questions about theater etiquette and i maybe i'm just old but i'm like damn like so many people are taking photos of the screens and stuff like i see and i'm kind of like ladies ladies ladies we're we come to this place for magic you know what i mean like we yeah like it says there's literally a commercial right before like don't text don't talk you know don't spoil the movie like why are we like filming the screen i don't i guess yeah i think the
Starting point is 00:37:50 etiquette is like to film that opening secret like opening like wicked you know part one like i think that you can do it's like bows during a broadway show you can film the bows but nothing else so i think you can film like the opening to let people know look at what movie i'm in but i think after that yeah it should be no noah beck i mean i mean i love no back shout out the football movie on tv but his instagram story was like five scenes from the movie and i'm like no no we gotta reign it in the singing people were doing they didn't sing in ours but if someone's saying next to me i'd be like stop it yeah luckily i think what i saw early I saw it early, so I think I missed – and on Thursday. Like, early on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:38:28 So I think I missed, like, you know, it being an unruly crowd, thank God. But I think I would lose it if everyone was, like, on their phones and singing. Oh, the phones would bother me. Yeah. I'm scared for the musical experience, like the sing-along that comes out. I think, what is it, on Christmas or something? It does it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Well, that's good. Everyone can just go be loud there. Like, oh, I'll go to that sing-along that comes out i think what is it on christmas or something it does it oh yeah well that's good everyone can just go be loud there like i'll go to that sing-along but imagine you're like seeing some movie next door and it's like damn i can't hear so loud and no one can sing to find gravity good like the one percent of the world probably so when people sing that it's like stop it's awful but yeah that will i will not be going to those as long as i love singing and i want people to sing with me, I just am like, no, I can't do like people singing in a theater. That would be like crazy. It is a lot.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Yeah. I think someone tweeted that like, um, they went on opening night and then like two high school choirs, like we're all like came to see it. Worst nightmare. And I love the arts, you know, I do, but. Time and place. Time and place. Oh yeah, I guess Defying gravity glee did it didn't they
Starting point is 00:39:25 kurt and rachel oh yes and um there there was a theater in ohio that was like before the movie started was playing like every cover of like defying gravity and showed all these scenes from glee and they showed that really did make the songs a little cringy though when you look back these are kind of cringe but in the moment i'm sure i probably have space with that too you know always holding space for kurt singing in his falsetto like it's beautiful soprano like it was great you're kind of like wow okay kind of slight uh but now looking back yeah definitely what do you think about ariana saying glinda could be a little lesbian i love it i think she was like no I agree because I think Kristen agreed with it too. I feel like for sure because she didn't really care about Fiyero.
Starting point is 00:40:08 She definitely didn't care about Bach. She didn't seem to care about anyone but Elphaba. And just in general, I could see it. I could see it for sure. I think she had no connection. Like you couldn't feel the connection with Fiyero. But like in the stage play too, I think just in general, like she doesn't care like that. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:40:23 She cares more about like not having Elphaba around. Yeah. I can see it. By Curious, maybe? Maybe, yeah. Yeah. Because even in, like, the opening sequence, like, no one mourns the wicked. And then someone asked, like, but Glinda, weren't you friends with her?
Starting point is 00:40:34 And then she went, friends? Like, I feel like there was almost, like, not just friends, Diva. A little more. A little more than friends. I always got, shout out to the asexual community, I always saw asexual vibes from her. You know what I mean? When I watched it. I've seen that too.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Yeah. Like you said, I feel like she's not interested in any like romantic partner, but like only interested, almost like, you know, literally royalty, I guess. Like, you know, it's kind of like what makes you more like powerful socially, I guess. You know what I mean? Yeah. For sure. I can see that.
Starting point is 00:41:03 I love that. I think that's like a new narrative that I haven't heard before about it but i like it yeah which makes sense because also too i like i don't know if it's by choice or what but usually the fieros in um the broadway shows they're always obviously like they're in a relationship but they're always played by like a queer actor too like adam lambert has played them um there's always so it's it is a very queer movie you know what i mean like in the sense that it's very um i think opened all the characters are kind of open that's why i like jonathan bailey in the movie because i don't know for sure but i don't think fiero dances with any men in the stage production but he does in the
Starting point is 00:41:33 movie and i thought that was like really cool because um kind of leaves that open as well more just like fluid anyways you know what i mean where there's they don't really have like a sexuality yeah even bach was kind of looking like he wanted fiero's cookies a little bit too like yeah i was like damn in the stage person do i always feel like bach always is really have like a sexuality in the show. Even Bach was kind of looking like he wanted Fiyero's cookies a little bit too. Of course. Yeah, I was like, damn. In the stage person, I always feel like Bach always has like a little crush on Fiyero. But again, who doesn't? And I think that's what, again, the message is.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Everyone's kind of on the spectrum, right? Everyone has like a little bit in them. Because you see a handsome man, you're like, maybe. You know what I mean? Especially John the Veil. Everyone's like, maybe. I honestly also had a Trisha moment watching some of jonathan bailey's interviews though because there was one interview he did in the uk with like this uh magician on the bbc and it was like a cute like magician i don't know what his like sexuality is
Starting point is 00:42:15 it could be straight whatever but he was doing all these little magic tricks with jonathan and jonathan i mean granted jonathan bailey has chemistry with kind of everyone you know what i mean but he like really i i could see these two together if, like, you know, if the interviewer was gay, the magician. Because he was so, like, they were just attractive, like, an attractive pair. And I was getting so jealous because Jonathan was so enamored with the little magic tricks. Like, he pulled a coin out of, like, his ear or something. Just get a little giggle. And I was like, I was like, wow, I kind of feel like Trisha.
Starting point is 00:42:43 I was like, I kind of feel betrayed a little bit. A little sad. A man who doesn't know I exist. Yeah. But like, parasocially, I'm like, wait, that's my man. That's how I felt like when he was with like Cynthia and Ariana on the carpets because he would like look deeply at both of them. I was like, oh man, that could have been me.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Should have been me. Might have been me. Maybe he watches. Like, you know what I mean? Like, that's what I always think in my head. It does make you sad. It makes you sad. That is the weird thing about parasocials.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Like, it is kind of this weird thing where you're like, oh, man, like, I'm sad. Like, he doesn't. Yes. Like, me, I'm like, oh, my gosh. Like, I'm married with kids. Like, now there's never going to be a chance between me and Jonathan Bailey. You know, it's like a weird thing where, like, if I wasn't married, I don't think that would be. But you think that sometimes.
Starting point is 00:43:20 You're just like, hmm, okay, well, this is the life I chose. So I'm going here. And then can kind of smile a little bit but like then you think about it rationally and it's like that's not real like that's not real yeah on so many levels but yeah everyone's kind of feeling that with him right now he's very handsome he's handsome in the sense of just like he's obviously good looking but he's also not like intimidating like yeah very just like a magnetic you know you feel like you could hang out with him and not be like intimidated by him yeah i think that would
Starting point is 00:43:49 jeff goldblum too honestly i got a little giddy for jeff goldblum in the movie what did you think about him um i thought he was good but again i'm very into like the characters so i'm like if they're like a bad character i'm like oh yeah so i can't really like see it for them i was like don't come after my sister right literally my sister no because i'm like nessa rose i will have my girls back i don't know i might pull a glinda and just stay with them you literally this is why i'm glad like even before i knew anything about wicked i was like yeah of course you could be glinda i thought i was gonna be glinda the house but i was like no it, of course you can be Galinda. I thought I was going to be Galinda the house, but I was like, no, it's pink. Like that should be you. But now I'm like, after watching, I'm like, no, I am a hundred percent like the alpha
Starting point is 00:44:30 but yeah. Cause you would definitely go with the flow. You're like, okay, sure. Yeah. I'll go with it. Yeah. You're choosing me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Bye. Like we, you can't let like your, you can't like sub be, uh, your, what was it? Your ambition lead you to submission. Like you can't, you can't. No, always going to be me. Always, always. You have to fight the man. No.
Starting point is 00:44:49 Even now, anything. You and Michelle Yeoh. We're going to walk off. Oh, I'd say with her. She gives me hugs. Absolutely. Yes. I can stay with the wizard.
Starting point is 00:44:55 I'm staying here. For sure. We are definitely in the right jerseys. A hundred percent. It's freaking me and Peter Dinklage against the world. Like, damn. He is great.
Starting point is 00:45:04 He is wonderful. I know. I just, I watched it. Jeff Goldblum was 72inklage against the world. Like, damn. He is great. He is wonderful. I know. I just, I watched it. Jeff Goldblum was 72 years old, and I was just like, he is so. And the wizard, I have never seen, not like a good wizard, but like the character is just never my cup of tea in the stage production. Because the songs are always kind of slow, but for some reason, his was really good. The only other people that were up for the role was Steve Martin and Bryan Cranston.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Oh, interesting. Mm-hmm. We have someone coming on Saturday guesting here. It'll be up next Thursday, who auditioned for Fiero. Oh, wow. And he's on the list. He's on the short list that they always show of who auditioned for Fiero. And it's really surprising.
Starting point is 00:45:35 So I'm really excited to ask him about that. And then they also had the list of Box and Joshua Robert Colley, who was here, was one of the people on there. But it's interesting, all the people that they did audition through. I guess Dove Cameron was like the close second for. Yeah, for Glinda. Glinda, mm-hmm. And I do feel bad for anyone.
Starting point is 00:45:52 Like, I think you talked about it before. Like, yeah, I feel bad for, because it is such like, it's like a career making role. And if you're, like for me, there's no chance I'm in this movie. But if you're like close, like it's between me and Michelle Yeoh,
Starting point is 00:46:02 I would have been like, damn it, you know what I mean? Like that would have have been awful i think it's just so like meant to be though for like ariana and cynthia especially like the roles are just so for them yeah like there are just these characters so maybe they could at least have peace with that like i hope they're like a dove cameron is okay i hope everyone is like i think there was one girl i forgot her name but like i think she like cried on like her instagram story like after she didn't Like, I hope a Dove Cameron is okay. I hope everyone is, like – I think there was one girl. I forgot her name. But, like, I think she, like, cried on, like, her Instagram story, like, after she didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:46:30 And people were making fun of her. I was like, no. Who? I forgot her name. Not Amanda Seyfried. No. And I think it was more, like – I think she had more of, like, a theater background maybe or something. But I saw it going around a couple weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:46:43 I can't remember her name. But people were being so mean about it. But I'm like, no, I get is such a it is like a career defining opportunity i'd be depressed for the rest of my life if i was second to get that role i don't think i could ever watch it i don't think i'd ever want to do anything again i was like okay that would that's because that's so crazy you're so close but yeah there was one i forget the actress's name she was there at the red carpet. She played Madame Warble in the stage production. I don't know her name. She's a really great actress, but she was there and she was like supportive and they were like doing interviews together.
Starting point is 00:47:09 So I don't know her name, but she was good. Yeah. It's interesting to see like Dove Cameron, like not the premiere. Cause you would think, cause she is such like a wicked fan to be there. Who was fair? Oh, Joe Jonas, I guess. But like, that didn't make sense. I think Dove Cameron just so in the theater world and Christian Chen China with like loves her and she's been in shows with Ariana.
Starting point is 00:47:26 I feel like it's just like a. It's so close. It's really sad. I think that would be so hard. And then you have to see them like everywhere. I don't know. I'd be miserable the rest of my life. Just have to see it.
Starting point is 00:47:36 I'm not even close to playing Glendon. I still get sad. I'm still like, oh, that will never be me. But if you're considered for it. Yikes. Yeah. It is hard is hard yeah you literally can't escape it no I guess you have to go to therapy or something I know and also probably as an actor you're probably used to a lot of like you know
Starting point is 00:47:55 no's in life I guess right but not like this this is your role she's like me trying to help dumb Cameron like okay dumb it's not that bad and you being like no this is the this is the role that, yeah, that's, yeah, man. That would suck. But at least
Starting point is 00:48:09 Ariana is so good at it, like, that you know that you were beat by literally like, someone who is like, the embodiment of the character. You know what I mean? And at least it's not a flop. Also, like, the vocals. I mean, she's, like, operatic in this movie. And I think, like, I don't think, like, anyone compares to Ariana. It's, like, her voice. So, yeah, that's true. I mean, she's, like, operatic in this movie. And I think, like, I don't think, like, anyone compares to Ariana. It's, like, vocals.
Starting point is 00:48:27 So, yeah, that's true. I was trying to think of who else could be, like, in this new generation of, like, pop star to, like, Academy Award nominated or winning actress. And I feel like it's tough. Like, obviously, like, Lady Gaga, Ariana. The only people from, like, the next generation or, like, you know, the newer generation is maybe Billie Eilish is a really good actress. Really? She had a really small part in an Amazon Prime show called Swarm. And she was really, really good in it.
Starting point is 00:48:59 It was a one-episode small supporting role, but she was a cult leader. And she was really good in it. And Olivia Rodrigo is also a really good actress, too. What has she been in? She's only been in the Disney stuff before, but kind of like Ariana, where, like, I feel like she went through the child acting very well. And even in music videos and stuff, like High School Musical, the musical, the series. She's actually, like, a good actress in it. I think you just love her.
Starting point is 00:49:19 I mean, I don't know. Maybe she is, but I feel like you have bias. No, she's really good. I mean, well, yes, of course. But she's, like like there's a rumor that she's being eyed for like this coming of age movie
Starting point is 00:49:29 from like an Oscar winning director so I could I could see it for her down the line that's what makes it I think when you get like with a really good director
Starting point is 00:49:36 it can be like wow that was me with like Ironclad I'm still like shocked Zach Gaffer didn't get nominated but I was like oh I see him in that type of movie
Starting point is 00:49:42 I was like wait he's actually like a good actor like I always feel like people kind of like just like clown on him or whatever. Yeah. But he's pretty good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:47 I think you have to get, like, a serious role like that where people – or just be, like, really great, like, in Glinda. I think – I'm still hanging on to Addison Rae. I still think that she could be, like, an amazing actress in something. Like you said, if it's directed – like, if John M. Chu did Britney Spears. I know she doesn't want to do Britney Spears. Like, I don't want to be considered because, like, who can even touch that role? But I'm like, girl, someone's got to touch touch that role so you might as well do it I think it
Starting point is 00:50:05 could be her because also like she is good in movies and I think when you get like training when you get like you know coaching I think you become like so much better um so I could I could see her maybe not even for the Britney Spears movie but for something because I really do think she's a good actress um it is hard it's hard to know until you see someone in the role and like oh damn they're good you know yeah because even, I mean, she was really good in like the Nickelodeon day. Like she played like Kat, which is like a ditzy character, whatever, very well. But I feel like what I think there was a lot of doubters when she got cast in this. Right.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Like despite everything, she really had to like prove herself. And look like the like 10 years, like a decade later for her to get that role. So it's like who down the line? I really think out of everyone, though, I feel like Billie Eilish is probably like the what like 10 years like a decade later for her to get that role so it's like who down the line i really think out of everyone though i feel like billy eilish is probably like the surest bet i've never um ever heard that ever well her mom is also an actress too so i feel like it's in her yeah um and again i feel like again in like 10 years she's already an oscar winner from a song so i feel like down the line she'll be like the next like egot kind of status i think i could really see that for her interesting i need to know more about her i don't know much i honestly do love billy it's hard i mean i love like a pop girl you know what i mean because i
Starting point is 00:51:14 get so into it like an ariana taylor where it's like you know big girly production and stuff too but you know my punk rock days no but she's like a little bit edgy yeah i love like my not like my dream role but i would love to do a movie like um mariah carey and precious like i would love to be in a role like that yeah where it's like a physical transformation i can see that for you a hundred percent yes yes yes or if i was younger i would like to be precious like i do love her role too you know what I mean? Because she did it with the Oscars. I love her.
Starting point is 00:51:48 That would be, as soon as I said it, I was like, let me just say which character I'm thinking. But I would love to be Precious, too. I would love to be in a movie like that. I think it's so, who's, is it Monique? Is she in there? Yeah. Did she win the Oscar?
Starting point is 00:52:00 Monique. I think so, right? Yeah. For supporting? Who's the director of that? Because those kind of movies, obviously I like can't watch them. It's like kind of hard for me to watch. Oh, Lee Daniels.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Oh, well, there you go. You get a Lee Daniels movie and then you'll win an Oscar. I'm available. Like I, like what I'm saying is like Mariah Carey, you would never think like you, we all saw Glitter, loved it, camp, but like would never think in a million years like Oscar winner. You know what I mean? And then you see here, not that she won an Oscar, but I'm saying she's in this movie that's not me for all these oscars
Starting point is 00:52:26 and she was so good and i think just finding that like great material that shows you um in that kind of light makes it too brandy too brandy has been in a tyler perry one i think it was like the marriage counselor or something and she was like so good and i feel like those type of movies like evoke it so if you come out with something like that um and yeah the the academy really does love a physical transformation too so i think that yeah you really need like a stripped down role charlie's theron and monster yes exactly when uh chelsea lynn was here she's like i love that movie so much and i was like oh i could yeah like i and i get it like so that's like the goal and i'm
Starting point is 00:52:59 hoping you know what give it a few more years because again my fans are now coming up in the industry they all are in position of power one day they will be that director that's like we need trisha it's very quentin tarantino when he casted john travolta in pulp fiction because john travolta was like a has-been by the time pulp fiction came around and kind of like revived his career and everyone's like oh my god john travolta we haven't seen them since like the 70s so i think that's gonna happen i think that's gonna happen i'm like wow trisha's really gonna be like 50 and they're like slated so i'm waiting but it's gonna happen i can feel it probably ben he's gonna do something he's so organized and so on it and so creative i'm like he's gonna be somebody
Starting point is 00:53:28 so maybe he'll cast me from bringing popcorn buckets to selling getting an oscar that'd be really cool um yeah there's i mean there's a lot of talented people out there right now a lot of the girls are so talented a lot of these young girls really are maybe no beck that's true i haven't seen the quarterback movie but but yeah, maybe that could be. Tubi keeps pushing it to me. They keep sending me like different promo stuff. Yeah, I have a whole box out there. And I was like, what is this?
Starting point is 00:53:51 It's like, we'll have to show it. It's like this like quarterback. I haven't opened it yet, but. Okay, Noah Beck. I mean, yeah, he really could. Maybe. I think of all the TikTokers too, the guy TikTokers too. Noah Beck seems like the safest bet of all of them, right?
Starting point is 00:54:02 Like the Bryce Halls. Definitely not Bryce Hall. Yeah. I feel like that whole group. Definitely not Bryce Hall. Yeah. I feel like that whole group that they came up together. Yeah. Noah Beck is like, you know, the most baby girl out of all of them, right? For sure. I don't even know what he looks like, but.
Starting point is 00:54:14 I know he's hot and he watched Wicked and loved it. Okay. He recorded the whole movie. He pirated it. Well, you know, T. Well, I love this Wicked fit crazeze i love that it's all over the place like i keep buying the merch everywhere i see it i love it it'll be sad yeah but you know what what's great is like the oscar will come around the hype will bring back up and then next year
Starting point is 00:54:34 at this time yeah exactly so i love that they did part in two parts because we're gonna do this all again next year like i wonder if the press tour is going to be as oh like intense next year because now i feel like everyone's hooked so they can not do as much but i feel like they're also just so passionate about it that they'll keep it up you know what i mean oh for sure i think it's going to be even bigger and better i'm already planning my outfit for the second premiere um cynthia revo did have a really cringy interview though not on her behalf but she did an interview with dax shepherd did you see it for his podcast i don't know why people still go on him like i feel like he's always cringy who was the guy from queer eye that was on there do you remember that conversation uh oh jvn jonathan vaness yes yes oh my god when
Starting point is 00:55:13 they were on the podcast um it was so cringy and awkward and i'm like dax is like why like he's just not ever on the right side of things like he's i don't know maybe it's the way he talks about things or explains things but he's just always so wrong on everything why do people go on there because i feel like all his guests you just offense i haven't seen the cynthia one but i feel like he's just offensive in nature he's just that person so i'm just like why do people keep going on it i think some people can really vibe with like a dax shepherd but i don't think like everyone i think especially in the queer space maybe that's where i was going with it yeah yeah. Yeah. Stick to like, you know, out.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Like the out magazine reporter fierce. Like she is in queer media and that's where the bubble should, you know, be the queer media divas. Yeah. But yeah, Cynthia Riva went on Dax Shepard's podcast and got literally annoyed by Dax Shepard. Like she literally said, that's an annoying question. Same. Same girl. She said that's an annoying question.
Starting point is 00:56:04 I love it. Yes. Because Dax Shepard asked, he said said can i ask you a really crazy question when you're wiping your butt and then cynthia cuts them off and goes like oh i knew you're gonna ask that and um he basically was asking because obviously her fingernail her like acrylic nails are long as an homage to alphaba and she's been wearing like those long nails throughout the whole press tour and um he literally asked her about like wiping her butt with the nails like how do you wipe your butt which is such like a it's such a straight man question to ask like why and why are you asking a potential like a potential academy award winner on the biggest movie of the year so like it's like you get like 50 exactly he's like 18 years old
Starting point is 00:56:45 i think it's also like something culturally she wears her long nails too i think it's like yeah i remember she's like explaining like the whole like background of it and stuff like that but i mean love them and i've always worn long nails too and i'm just like people who ask those questions you're like i think you just like lack like all intelligence like you just have no but everything i've seen of dax is that he like has never he's never had like one intelligent question it's always just him like saying whatever comes to his mind and there's not much in there. So it's like so odd. So she just said that's annoying.
Starting point is 00:57:10 She said it's because he was like, he was like, this is a question people are probably too afraid to ask. And then she's like, no, no one's afraid to ask that. Like he's so brave. Right, right. Yeah, literally. She said that she gets it all the time. And she said, my answer is nobody uses just their fingernails to wipe their backside you use tissue correct and you wipe um and then she like kind of
Starting point is 00:57:32 showed a little demonstration she's like about how she like pads her uh fingers whatever yeah and she said i get it i'm annoyed by it like come on guys i get it but i'm a functioning adult and never walk around smelling like you know yeah the insinuation of all that too is just like so weird so weird it's like it's not
Starting point is 00:57:49 cleanly or something yeah again just a very like straight man thing to add I hate Dax Shepard I do everything about him
Starting point is 00:57:57 I'm just like I never like anything about this man I don't know anything about him but also just like the stuff he the way he talks about it
Starting point is 00:58:03 like I don't know everything about him is just odd I don't really know that much about him. I love Chris and Belle and they're like a cute couple. Oh, are they still together? I think so, right? Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:58:10 I think. Because he's a little too open about their relationship too. He's always like talking about like problems and stuff. I'm just like there's a little much to be talking about with everybody. What did he say? Something like he didn't like her or find her attractive. Like something like earlier. Like there was a weird – I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:23 I'm like maybe it's a little off. But something like really personal about their relationship and it was odd. Or he found her annoying. There Like something like earlier. Like there was a weird, I don't know, I'm like maybe it's a little off but something like really personal about their relationship and it was odd or he found her annoying. There was something like weird and I was like, this is a weird couple.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Maybe they didn't like each other or they were thinking about divorcing. There's, also like I feel like you have to have a lot of money. You're, Kristen Bell has been in so many, Frozen for crying out loud.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Oh yeah. You got Frozen money? Yeah. You don't have to be doing this podcast. You know what I mean? i mean like you're good and no he's just that guy that just wants to hear himself in a microphone he's just like having a little set in the attic or something like that him who will who will ask those questions you know he's fighting for freedom of speech there and the fact that he said that is like you are so and then heard it too i would be like too embarrassed to air it you know what what I mean? It's like. No.
Starting point is 00:59:07 It's such a 2020 question. Like you were talking about those things way back. Yeah. You know. No, people would ask me back. Yeah, like in 2010, I think I have a video. Like everyone always asks me how you wipe. Because I used to have like little danglies on mine and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:59:18 I'm like, are you all like just dumb? Like, are you dense? Like, do you not know how to wipe yourself? Like, I don't understand like with this question. Like, it's just so weird to me. It's also like acrylics are a new thing. You know, they've literally been around forever. So it's like, what? Yeah. No, he's just, I don't understand like with this question like it's just so weird it's also like acrylics are a new thing you know they've literally been around forever so it's like what yeah no he's just i don't know that's an attempt at comedy i think that's why he has a failed career because not one movie has hit give me one dad shepherd movie without a paddle no sorry seth
Starting point is 00:59:36 green and matthew lillard made that movie not him so i just feel like he sucks at everything maybe punked i guess but like you can ask her a different question like how do you type an email like there's different ways to talk about the nails and not go there like that's the worst place you can take it yeah just like honestly that actually is a way to go that is funnier like i was always amazed by you like you would type emails doesn't matter how long her nails would be she would be able to type emails and do the whole thing. I guess it's interesting. But again, you have Cynthia Erivo, star of Wicked.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Like, and you're asking her that question. Like she sings like that. And you're just like, like at least Jimmy Fallon's like, can you give us a riff? And we love to see him sing. This is like your fingernails. Like that's, we love it. It's beautiful. But obviously there's a thousand more questions I'd ask her before all that.
Starting point is 01:00:24 It's kind of wild. All right. He is definitely devil amongst us today. Definitely. I wouldn't say no to his podcast. I'd rather go on a Wayne Wilson podcast again than go on Dax Shepard. The armchair expert. Is that what it's called?
Starting point is 01:00:37 I think so, right? Ew. Awful name. Even that name is awful. Everything about it sucks. Poor Kristen. Hope she's okay. Oh, wait.
Starting point is 01:00:46 But we forgot to mention that Kristen Chenoweth gave you your flowers for singing popular. We can't transition away from Wicked without that. That's everything. I did squeal. I screamed. I squealed. All of the above. That was like so, so cool because Kristen is like the original Glinda, but she's also
Starting point is 01:01:03 just like Broadway royalty. Like when you think of Broadway, like you just think of, of Kristen Chenoweth and like so many things. She's in Queen of Versailles next year. Like she's just been consistently so good. Like you're a good man, Charlie Brown. Like she's been in so many good things. Obviously TV, Glee.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Schmigadoon. Not Schmigadoon. We love Schmigadoon. We love Glee. She's just so, and she's funny and she's charming and everything about her is just amazing. So the fact that you recognize me, I once got a DM from Kristen Chenoweth on TikTok and it was like the whole highlight of my life and then to see this like publicly I like literally I'm framing it
Starting point is 01:01:33 just like the weekend the weekend's out I'm framing this it was so cool and she posted on her story I was I was freaking out a little bit that those boys Anthony and Jonathan Jonathan's the one that sang with Ariana for like years as a child. And I was just like, I also found out so much more lore about them after that. So many people are like, oh, it's this person, this person. He's the one that sang with like James Charles. Like, why don't you say so? Didn't even know.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Do you remember that viral one? It's so funny. Yeah. He's been on like so many things. So I found out the whole lore of that. I don't judge him for that, obviously. Like be friends with whoever you want. But it was funny how you like like, find out so much stuff.
Starting point is 01:02:06 But that's a good example of coaching, right? Like, they literally spent hours with me that day. And, like, you know, you hear, I feel like I'm not completely domed up. I feel like when I hear someone singing good, I can also, like, hear it. I think when I sing by myself, it's up. But anyways, they coached me for so long. And everyone's like, Trisha's song's really good. And I was like, thank you.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Because I was worried I was going to get ripped to shreds. I was like, I am going to get ripped apart. So then when Kristen reposted, I was like, oh my God, that's so cool. I was very happy they chose me for that song. It couldn't like, it's like the most popular song right now. And I was like, wow, you chose me. That's so great. You know, Ariana, and you can probably get Kristen Chana with like, it's crazy. So I was, I was really honored. They did really well. I love it. It's been a very wicked weekend. And then we did the wicked dance yesterday and just I got recognized with Cynthia Ariana
Starting point is 01:02:46 Bowen all of them it's been it's been a whirlwind it's been great I feel like I'm part of the press tour too
Starting point is 01:02:52 kind of actually just getting myself involved in any way that I can you've been spearheading it yeah I love it and it's not stopping
Starting point is 01:03:00 we're gonna go see Wicked at the Pantages we're gonna go see Wicked in New York we're gonna go see Wicked everywhere it's okay are you gonna see it when it comes here?
Starting point is 01:03:06 Maybe. Do you like shows? Like live shows? I haven't really seen a live show. Ever? You're going to die at the one musical I've seen. At the Kodak. Whatever it's called now.
Starting point is 01:03:18 The Dolby. High school musical. When I was like in eighth grade, I think. They had a stage production? A traveling stage production, yes. With the original cast? No, it was like a touring rendition of High School Musical, I guess. And it was like acting too or just the songs?
Starting point is 01:03:34 It was acting, yeah. Like it was a musical based on High School Musical. And not the original people? That's so weird. Not the original people. That's the only musical I think I've seen. Was it off Broadway or something? It was like touring. It was at the Dolby. That's so weird people that's the only musical i think i've seen off broadway or something it was a trap like touring it was at the dolby that's so weird that's the only musical i've seen
Starting point is 01:03:50 in real life that's so odd okay well go see wicked i think you would enjoy it i i just like god like live theater is like my favorite thing in the whole world i think you would enjoy it i think you should go honestly yeah i didn't even expect to be a wicked girl the way I am now but here I am in the jersey and everything. I know. It looks so good to him. It's light. It's sparkly.
Starting point is 01:04:09 I was so excited. I know. I thought I ordered them a while ago and then I went like because I was like, oh my God, I went. My things were still in the car.
Starting point is 01:04:14 I was like, no and everything was like sold out but they still have the 2Xs so it pays to be plus size. But they're actually like, this is a 2X. It's actually not as baggy as I thought.
Starting point is 01:04:22 I'm like, it's a little more fitted than I thought but that's the tea and it's been a great Wicked run. And I'm going to keep seeing it. Oh, and I want to do – I don't know if I told you. But when we come back, when I come back off the Trishmers Live, we should go to that little cafe. That would be fun.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Oh, yeah. Because now we have the outfits. We have to. A universal. It's there through the end of the year, right? Yeah. They said through the end of the year. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:04:43 Yes. And get all the – and I want to see the store. I just want to see everything Wicked. Yeah. It's so fun. That's our show. Just Wicked Hot Topics today. Not sponsored.
Starting point is 01:04:53 Not partnered right now either. Not partnered. You know who I would love on the podcast? Who? Is Kiki Palmer. Have you seen her everywhere? Is she a Hot Topic for you? Yes.
Starting point is 01:05:04 No, she wasn't on my hot topics but love because we kind of talked about her before she was um but at the end of the last episode you mentioned something about the scream queens i didn't know she was like on this full book yeah she has a new uh her second book um oh it's her second yeah oh it's another memoir yeah another memoir master of me master of me yeah. And she's been doing a little press tour promoting the book. And I love Kiki Palmer. She's my dream guest. I love Kiki Palmer.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Oh, my God. I didn't – again, I, like, didn't know much about – I've always liked her. I thought she was, like, a cool vibe. She always does, like – I think she was in Grease Live, like, with Vanessa Hudgens. Like, I really, like, always loved her. But I didn't – I don't know much of her. I didn't know True Jackson. Like, I didn't know, like, her come up or anything.
Starting point is 01:05:43 But did you watch the Club Che Che interview? Yes. Oh Oh my God. After that, I was just like this because she's so quick, witty, funny. I kind of forgot because we did talk about on the podcast last year about the whole herself with her baby daddy that was like bad. I just didn't realize like all the stuff that she's been through, all the stuff that she's been in. And yeah, she's been all over doing the press tour and talking about being like a child star, which I find so so interesting and I feel like she's the one child star who's like honest you know about it which she had like a good experience but I feel like she's still very honest where she's like she did feel the pressure of like being the like breadwinner she said it was like an honor but at
Starting point is 01:06:14 the same time I'm like that's still a lot for a kid it's like so crazy she had a really good experience she said she was really proud to be like the breadwinner but I'm just like at the end of the day I still think putting all like everything that the family is on your child is like crazy. Like that's wild. And I think she's a great success story of being a child star, but I'm like, that's, that's wild to be like, yes, yes, you quit your job. Yes, you push them to have this career. But like, it is weird. The parents can just take all the money. They only give like what, 10% or 15% to the Cougar account, which is like insane. And then they all like live off of that. Like that's so, that's so much pressure for a kid. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:06:47 I think you have to, but it's like, how else would you be a child star? You know, you have to do it your job or you have to be independently wealthy or something to take care of them. But it's like, I don't know. That's such a hard one. Yeah, it is hard because especially like Akiki and her mom have like such a good relationship too. And like her mom is like very protective of her and like has always been with her on all
Starting point is 01:07:04 the different sets and stuff that she did too but still even that like it is hard you like you said you can't work and you have to like put everything into like your kids so it's this weird like dynamic and obviously like being a child star is expensive because it's driving to all these auditions then you have to get like you know the glam for all these auditions and stuff like it is hard to keep that lifestyle up too so it's hard but um yeah i love kiki though because she's so like articulate about everything and like she's so like effortlessly funny so funny the club shay shay i didn't get the michelle reference i had to look it up did you know about it i had to look up too did you look it up yeah i was like wait i didn't know i was like michelle and i looked it up i was like
Starting point is 01:07:43 oh my god something about his instagram live and i was like oh my god this is crazy but um it was interesting because she did say again being successful like having a good thing in child star i'm sure like there should be more therapy on sets but what i found so interesting was at 12 years old she had to kiss a 17 year old orban blue and then at 17 she had to kiss a 27 year old actor i was like 12 and 17 is wild like they're they're both underage. I get that, but it's like so crazy. I was like, that kind of stuff, I feel like, shouldn't be, like, permitted because it's almost like,
Starting point is 01:08:12 I don't want to say, like, a forced kiss, but it's not something that they're, like, choosing. Do you know what I mean? It's like, a kiss is, like, so intimate at that age where I feel like, I think she said it, or someone else was saying, like, you know, you don't know, like, what's, like, real. Or maybe she said, I don't know. You don't know what's, like, real or what's, like, know it's me she said but you don't know it's like real or what's like because i think she maybe didn't have a kiss in real life before so it's like such a confusing thing i feel like
Starting point is 01:08:29 that's something they should like definitely not do especially when it's like a child an adult when she was 17 27 i think kirsten dunst did that in that vampire movie she had to like kiss brad pitt and tom cruise when she was like 12 and they were like 30 or something and i'm like that to me is weird that they don't have those laws because in real life if a 13 year old kissed a 30 year old man people would be like you should go to jail but in the movies it's like that's fine i don't know hollywood can be a little corrupt that way and she's not even she's she's pretty young so it didn't happen that long ago maybe like 10 years ago that was still happening yeah i don't know even like adults directing two kids two kids because i think there was a case of like two kids that filmed themselves and they were charged themselves with like CP.
Starting point is 01:09:09 So it's like. Two kids kissing? They were doing something. They filmed themselves. So I'm saying like even if you're underage filming yourself, you can't like it's illegal. So adults filming kids doing something. It is odd. I don't know if now it's legal.
Starting point is 01:09:23 Like it just doesn't sound right. I don't think it's illegal. I think it's still maybe it doesn't happen as much it's legal like it just doesn't sound right it's illegal i think it's still maybe it doesn't happen as much but it was just i was kind of shook by that part of it i was kind of like and she does say it nonchalantly and i don't think she just seems like that like traumatized by it obviously but it's just like such a odd thing that it happens so frequently and like no one really says anything and it is kind of just brushed over because even I love is his name Shannon on Club Shayshawn I like him a lot as a host but even that he kind of glossed over when
Starting point is 01:09:48 she said she had a kiss a 17 year old 27 oh you like older men or something like that I was like that's kind of such a weird response to that because like when I was watching like that's like what like what was happening I don't know I would never never in a million years I don't care if it's 10 million dollars if it's like Malibu's like we booked a tv show I don't care if it was like Game of Thrones and like oh she has to like kiss somebody. I'd be like, absolutely not under the age of 18 because it's like – like you just also like can't really like consent at that age. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:10:11 I don't know. It's just like such a weird – I definitely would never be. I would never be like, okay, you have to kiss that person. That's so weird. That's so weird. I don't know. I think it's also like just unnecessary. Nowadays too I think in AI kisses.
Starting point is 01:10:21 Didn't like Jonah Hill and that – you remember that girl? You remember they like CGI'd their kiss together? So it's possible out there so do that instead or just don't have a child kissing somebody on the you don't need to do it it's very weird very odd because you could turn out great huh what was your first kiss uh it was at work yeah i think a lot of people memory i think a lot of people have the other kid stars i've said that too where it's like their first kiss was on camera and i was like that's too much too weird but I love her I don't know where my cards went oh here I had more from the kikis and everything she's been everywhere and she is so pretty I love her so much um well anyways there's a lot to say but I love her and I want you to come
Starting point is 01:10:56 on the podcast she might be my dream guest at the moment because I really do just like love everything about her and she's been I want to read her I bought the book it hasn't come in yet i got it a couple days ago on amazon because i want to read it i was like oh i love the honesty her son looks so cute too i just love her i love a working mom i love a mom that's like creative and still hustling and still doing it and she seems good with her son you know yeah and i think too again the way that she like prioritizes leo is so cute like because obviously she did go through a lot um with her ex darius and like i think you know there was that one like initial like lawsuit and stuff but other than that like she keeps it all like very like private and she literally said that specifically because she knows that like leo one day is going to be able to like read everything
Starting point is 01:11:40 and she doesn't want him like reading all this stuff and for all this to be out there so the fact that even with something so traumatic as that like she still is able to like be professional and like be so eloquent the way that she talks about it i think is like so amazing i think she's like one of the like most hard-working like deserving person in the world and so good at literally everything like she's a good singer good dancer good host like she can do it all yeah no she is actually amazing and yeah you're so right about that i feel she should have like a daytime i could see her having like a daytime i feel like they probably have offered it to her maybe she just said like no or there has to be because she she did she hosted one with michael strahan yeah she had like the hour which one good morning yeah it was like a trio of them yeah that's And I thought, that's the dream job.
Starting point is 01:12:26 She probably has gone off. I mean, she probably could do anything that she like wanted to do. She's so good. Her sister was on Remember Claim to Fame. Oh, really?
Starting point is 01:12:32 She was? And it was like, she made it pretty far too and like no one was guessing her. Like all the clues were like Akilah and the bee and all that stuff like that. And yeah,
Starting point is 01:12:40 she was supportive. She did a video for her sister because a lot of those celebrities, they're like, I'm related to this person and they don't even do a video. They're just like sending our regards or something like that. So it was nice that she was supportive. She did a video for her sister. Because a lot of those celebrities, they're like, I'm related to this person. And they don't even do a video. They're just like sending our regards or something like that. So it was nice that she was.
Starting point is 01:12:49 And she was arguably one of the bigger stars on that show. And she gave support to her sister. I think the sister won, didn't she? She won? I think so. I remember. Yeah, she was definitely in the final. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:58 Love claim to fame. Can't wait for that show to come back. You know who did turn down an offer? I have some inside information about People's Sexiest Man. Do you know about this? What is it? No. Oh, I know who it was. Yes, someone who came to visit me.
Starting point is 01:13:12 He was at the house. He knew inside information about People from someone who works at People that Pedro Pascal was actually offered Sexiest Man of the Year. Really? Turned it down because of the interviews. I guess you have to do like a whole series of interviews and he just
Starting point is 01:13:25 he didn't want it. He didn't want the title. He's like no thank you. Him promoting the magazine then the magazine promoting him. Wow. Something was weird
Starting point is 01:13:32 but he was offered I guess like and he said no. Multiple like multiple sources and everything that that was saying that he didn't.
Starting point is 01:13:38 What's with him not being at the Gladiator premier? He's just like He's filming. Him and Joseph Quinn were finishing Fantastic Four
Starting point is 01:13:44 in London. Okay flex. So he went toondon premiere of gladiator because he was already in london so i thought he's like i'm not doing this either not doing any i hate that gladiator was trying to make like the gold dress theme a thing like the pink and green oh were they really it was a it was a gold on the dress code on the invitations like wear gold i was like oh for the premiere yeah it's like oh i didn't know it's making gold happen every single influencer was in gold i was like okay let's not be wicked we're not okay like it was i did not want to be at that premiere but it's crazy how there's like a group of influencers that just go to the every single premiere yeah it's so weird it's also supposed to be exhausting because no like you could be
Starting point is 01:14:22 the biggest influencer like in the world and i feel like they just don't care at those things, which is fine, but it's just like ego alone a little bit. Like Wicked, obviously I'm a fan. I love it. But I couldn't imagine going to Gladiator and just like standing there like nobody caring that I'm there. And that's just it for every influencer. That's just the truth.
Starting point is 01:14:37 They're old. Like we said, the Wire Image people are like old Getty Image, whatever. I keep calling them Wire Image. They're just old. They don't know. They take a couple pictures, whatever. And like I said, Brittany Broskis talked about this this who's arguably one of the bigger influencers out there and they didn't care to take her pictures they take one at the joker and they said move along so it is crazy
Starting point is 01:14:50 they go through so many of these i wonder either they're getting paid which we talked about they want that getty image which i get or they just like to be in the midst but it's just a lot of work just to yeah it is a lot of work it's good like you know the more you're out is good like you meet a lot of people it's good networking and i think if you have good like representation i think you're kind of just like on the list because even for like wicked i was surprised that like some of the smaller like more like cosplay creators who don't have like huge like like modest like followings obviously like so good but not like you know like a britney broski or anything still like got special like mean greets with ariana and stuff and i was like oh kind of a guy like universal themselves because that's how i was reached out it wasn't through my
Starting point is 01:15:33 it wasn't through any agents or managers or anything like that like they literally just reached out to my public email and it was someone directly from universal like uh dealing with all like the fans basically of the movie so i think they were really intricate like those two girls that are wizard of oz historians the oz vlog and follow the yellow brick girl like they have a modest following as well where i wouldn't say they're like super like mainstream the biggest of course in their genre of wizard of oz historians but like um but they were like lounge fly models they got to interview cynthia and ariana they got to go to the movie set and like they really did oh yeah that's so cool they were like on the set from last year they got to
Starting point is 01:16:04 so they they're it was amazing that universe like recognized them and they got to be like the promotion for so many things um so yeah i think they were really good about that which is good they should do that more get like the real fans honestly true yeah even for like an heiress tour situation too like there's been like a lot of influencers that have gone that like aren't like they make tiktoks and it's like i'm not a swifty but it was Like they make TikToks. And it's like. I'm not a Swifty. But it was okay. And I'm just like. And it's like. Wait. But like.
Starting point is 01:16:27 Oh. I'm serious. A lot of the. The Taylor stans. Are like upset. Because obviously. Like as the tour. Is like coming to an end.
Starting point is 01:16:32 It is such like. A big. Like expensive ticket. For. So for the brands. To like have people. Who aren't like actual fans. I would be furious.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Like I think about that. With My Chemical Romance. Next year at Dodger Stadium. I'm just know. All these fake influencers. Are going to be there. I mean like. Look at my emo. Look at my all black. I'm just going to know all these fake influencers are going to be there. I'll be like, look at my emo. Look at my all black.
Starting point is 01:16:47 I'm going to be like, fake. They're going to be in a box to face, buy, whatever. And I'm going to be like, I'm just wearing black. We're emo tonight in our glitter drink. Like, I just, I know it's going to piss me off so much. So I get you, Swifties. I feel you. I'm a My Chem head.
Starting point is 01:17:00 And I'm just like, no, it's so annoying. I'd rather like the, you know, like it's that makes me like the whole PR team behind Universal even more. The fact that they pick these like stands to come get this special access. I've never been invited to anything in my life. So the fact that Universal was like inviting me to the advanced screening, I was like, yes, absolutely. That's so cool. And then to the premiere, too, like is actually like so crazy. So and like I said, no one's ever invited me anywhere.
Starting point is 01:17:24 So I don't know if the, like the glad, the people were standing gladiator the same way, but it was still like a cool premiere. Like it looked cool at least. Like they built out the Coliseum, which was kind of intense. They're trying so hard to be wicked.
Starting point is 01:17:35 They're trying so hard. And you just never will be. You never will be. What were those box office numbers like? It was a modest second place. Exactly. Modest. Very second. Nothing about that seems appealing to me at all did you watch it i haven't watched it i probably probably won't but
Starting point is 01:17:52 i it does seem the photos i've seen are all appealing to me pedro pascal keeps posting like behind the scenes photos and that definitely appeals to me i love all the photos of all the boys i love that i think denzel washington looks pretty hot in this movie. He looks so different. Yeah, he does. And he's bisexual in it. But they cut the kiss. Homophobic. That's true.
Starting point is 01:18:10 That's crazy. Biphobic, I guess. Yeah. Oh, biphobic. What's homo mean? Homo's what? Yeah. Well, like, homo gay.
Starting point is 01:18:19 So, like. Like, what's homo sapien? A person. Oh, so it's just a person. But homosexual is, you know, two of the same. That's the man part of homo sapien. A person. Oh, so it's just a person. But homosexual is, you know, two of the same. That's the man part of homo sapien. So homo means. Just the suffix, by the way.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Don't take this out of context. I think it means men, like human. Homo means men? That's what it sounds like. Let me see. Like hombre in Spanish is man. Kind of the same, the H-O-M. It's like a men sexual.
Starting point is 01:18:44 Oh, interesting. I never knew. So homo sapien though. I oh interesting i never knew so homo sapien i think so all right homo sapien oh you're so right homo is latin word for man oh i was just analyzing what you're saying wow moses is so smart that makes sense but isn't a homo sapien everybody yes so i'm a man human you know what I mean like yeah human you are a man so it's interesting because if you just take the suffix prefix
Starting point is 01:19:09 what is it prefix homo the prefix homo not the word the prefix like it is weird when you take it
Starting point is 01:19:15 out of context people use that as like a slur is it a slur or no it can it depends on the context it can be a slur
Starting point is 01:19:21 but it used to be like yeah so but that's so interesting because it just like means man. Yeah. Like,
Starting point is 01:19:27 okay, I am a man. But I guess it's just like context. Yeah. Huh? It was more like a slur like you're into man. Well,
Starting point is 01:19:35 which is so weird. People use that as a slur. Okay. And what? That's crazy. Well, I love finding stuff out here every day on Just Trish,
Starting point is 01:19:44 educating the world. Okay. So in Latin, homo is man. But in Greek, it means the same. So that's why homosexual. Yeah. Damn. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:19:57 Oh, it says same sex. Yeah. Interesting. And that's the history lesson. Yeah, that's interesting you get double meaning there I love bisexual though that's cool they don't get enough representation in films so I love that his character is that
Starting point is 01:20:12 yeah sad that the I guess Denzel Washington said the kiss was just on the hand though so it was kind of like overhyped because that's weird Mark Malkin but he's I think he really loves he's gay and i think he was like representing the queer media because he was like what happened to the the gay kiss and he was
Starting point is 01:20:29 like it was just on the hand but oh well don't diminish it just on the hand that probably means something to a lot of people all right well not seeing it and like joseph quinn wears like you know the address in it too so it is a little you know flamboyant paul meskel on his skirts he said he wanted he wanted're trying to be wicked. He wanted the skirts to be shorter, Paul Meskel said, because they weren't, they didn't show as much thigh
Starting point is 01:20:49 as he usually shows. So they are redeeming qualities about it, I'm sure. They're trying, I feel. They're trying hard and it's not, it's flopping still.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Moana 2 is going to knock them out of the water this weekend, I'm sure. Oh yeah. It is interesting to see how Moana 2 will do. It'll be gladiator, but I don't think
Starting point is 01:21:04 it'll be wicked. I don't know either. There really isn't that much hype, but Mo It is interesting to see how Moana 2 will do. It'll be Gladiator, but I don't think it'll be Wicked. I don't know either. There really isn't that much hype, but Moana is so popular. I think it looks great. I can't wait to see it. But no Lin-Manuel Miranda songs. Yeah, which is so odd, I guess, because of Mufasa. And it was supposed to be a Disney Plus show that they repurposed into a movie.
Starting point is 01:21:22 Oh, that's weird. Because Moana was so huge. I'm excited for that nacho boat. I hope when we go, they have the nacho boat. I would love to do a cross like Wicked popcorn with like a Moana nacho boat.
Starting point is 01:21:30 That's going to be so iconic. I'm bringing the hulking bag when we do it. I can't wait. I have been looking forward to it so much. And then when I find out we have these Wicked buckets, I'm like, it's going to be even better.
Starting point is 01:21:38 We were talking about this. Can you just bring any bucket into the movie and ask for popcorn? That's a good question. I don't know. How do I know which one's real and which one's Cinemark?
Starting point is 01:21:44 And can I bring a Cinemark into like an AMC? That's a good question. I don't know. Like, how do I know which one's real and which one's Cinemark and can I bring a Cinemark into like an AMC? That's a good question. You might have to bring like the bucket according to like the theater chain. That's what I said
Starting point is 01:21:52 but I was like, you can bring any bucket and they'll fill it up. I don't know. You think? No, I said that if you bring a bucket, it's like if you go
Starting point is 01:21:59 to Starbucks to your own cup, you pay for the coffee but you use your cup. Oh. So you're not going to get free popcorn if you bring a bucket for somewhere else. You pay for the coffee but you use your cup. You're not going to get free popcorn if you bring a bucket for somewhere else. You pay for the popcorn but you say, I want it in this bucket.
Starting point is 01:22:10 But if you bring their bucket, they might refill it for you for free. Well, you get it for free, right? If you bring their bucket. I think so because when I brought in my Taylor Swift popcorn bucket, they just filled it for free. But I don't know. That's what I thought too. I don't know either because we end up spending $200 when we go. Our sacks are so much. will bring a home depot bucket if they could get it
Starting point is 01:22:28 for free so that's see that's the other thing too right yes how much do they charge you for a home depot bucket of popcorn it doesn't seem like i think they would do so i think you still have to pay for the popcorn all right well we'll have to investigate where's the boat oh regal did reach out to me actually and they're like we would love to send you a the boat oh Regal did reach out to me actually and they're like we would love to send you a PR package of Regal and they're like
Starting point is 01:22:48 we'd also like to send you and Malibu and Elvis to Moana to at the theater of your choice I want to see it too I think you were part of that package
Starting point is 01:22:56 I thought they included Elvis at six months I'm like I don't know if she's going I think I'm the most excited from everyone to see her he loves Moana no Malibu loves Moana too
Starting point is 01:23:03 I feel like Moana is like her fave and your fave you guys love the water what's the song she sings i like to dance by the water i love her i love her that's that's a malibu's favorite song he's like i wanna see don't want and yeah she loves that one she does love moana she loves the you're welcome too although moses pointed out that you're welcome is like a little bit like voodoo like he's doing like voodoo on her it's like a hallucination or something.
Starting point is 01:23:26 No, in the song, he hypnotizes her and then suddenly she snaps out of it and she's in a cave and he locks her up. You know who's redeeming themselves with me this week? The Rock. Really? Oh, my God. Did you see him as Maui in the live action? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:38 You've seen the photos? Yeah. Oh, my God. His body is actually like godlike. Like it's like crazy how thick and like rock. He's just like a tree. He's a rock. He just looks like somebody that you want to be next to that would like take care of you.
Starting point is 01:23:50 You know what I mean? There's a hurricane. Yeah, I was obsessed. He's redeemed himself in every single way. I was like, okay, the rock. I think he's wearing like a suit in it. No. I think it's a muscle suit with the tattoos and stuff.
Starting point is 01:24:00 I think. That's so weird. Why would they do that in the live action? That's so odd. I think he might have a thin layer for the tattoos, but it is mostly his body. He does have muscles, yeah. It's mostly his body. Someone said that they hand painted all the tattoos on him every single day.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Really? That's what I had read because we had this debate over our friend's giving was like, is it there or not? He is huge and he probably worked out and got ready for the movie. So I'm sure he gained even more weight and muscle. He looked like a, a not like just looked amazing he looks like maui i was like well okay i'm excited for that one who's moana who's the live action moana i forget who they cast for it oh um i we missed out on the challengers lookalike
Starting point is 01:24:37 contest though after we said we're gonna be boots on the ground for it oh i have a lot to say about this one i'm over these lookalike competitions because like they're no one's really like these people they're just like dressing like them and like that's me i just uh yeah i was look i think anyone can like we said anyone could look like those two guys i feel like they found people that look nothing like them they just happen to eat churros together and like you look like them that's perfect i feel bad i should have gone and tried i should have gone too i have the way a person day i wore i definitely could have been tashi i probably would have won like that's like so i have the shirt we have the way they sure we would have been she wins for sure
Starting point is 01:25:12 they didn't look anything like them and it's just like okay what like what are we doing anymore we've lost the plot you didn't think the the art looked like mike feist a little bit he kind of did no no no mike feist is like the what is that called is it called the 16th chapel what is that art 16th chapel 16th oh 16 maybe i could definitely be wrong chapel he's like the 16th chapel and look no if it's that guy but you can't compete with the 16th chapel because who's who did that someone that was not real isn't it like a you know like the china the world the world, the China wall? Like no one knows who built it.
Starting point is 01:25:46 Stonehenge. No one knows how that. What is that called? A natural wonder. That's what Mike Weiss is. He's a natural wonder of the world. How did it get there? How did the pyramids get there?
Starting point is 01:25:54 We don't know. So it's not that person's fault. But I mean, Mike Weiss is so beautiful. And that guy was, you know, he just looked like a person, which is fine. Everyone is a person. But Mike Weiss is like a god. I thought he kind of looked similar but because he was tall and like maybe it was the hat that kind of sold me on it i guess the backwards red hat i saw there was um a lesbian who went and she honestly did look pretty much like mike feist but she didn't see her but oh my god let me pull
Starting point is 01:26:20 her up actually because i do want to get now that i know you didn't approve of the art winner. I did not approve. That's, like, just a crazy thing to, like, put people up against, like, beautiful people. It's like, okay, Timothee Chalamet, a lot of people like him. That's cute. That's funny. But everyone else, I'm just like, they had a Rachel Sennett one. And I'm like, okay, it's getting out of hand at this point. Did you go to the Hasan one?
Starting point is 01:26:43 No, there is a Hasan Piker lookalike contest in – I think it's Chicago. Oh, you can't make it? i don't think i can make it but um maybe someone will sponsor the pilgrimage to chicago i would love but i'd be disappointed if no one like actually showed out you know what i mean like if they don't actually look like him like then it's like damn what are we here for and then um the guy who won for patrick slash josh o'connor I guess he didn't actually like, and he didn't show up to enter the contest. He was just there. And the crowd,
Starting point is 01:27:09 the crowd like demanded that he go in and like submit himself. I mean, just because he was good looking. He didn't really look like Josh O'Connor. He's handsome. Just to tell you how bad the competition was. Like, let's get from the street.
Starting point is 01:27:19 That's what you show up to the song. Like you win. I got here for the competition. You don't deserve. Yeah. Okay okay that makes sense because that guy also did not look like him but he was cute
Starting point is 01:27:29 I mean they both were handsome yeah but I don't I like that they committed to the bit they were playing tennis and stuff they did eat the churro
Starting point is 01:27:34 their hearts were not in it though when they were eating the churro no there was no like chemistry between the two yeah it was the best
Starting point is 01:27:41 I really hope that movie I don't think it's gonna get nominated but I really hope that movie gets nominated what is it there's a movie called Queer isn't it called's going to get nominated, but I really hope that movie gets nominated. What is it? There's a movie called Queer, isn't it? Yeah. When's that out?
Starting point is 01:27:47 I think next week. That's going to win for that director. Maybe. It's not getting amazing reviews, so I guess we'll see. But yeah, it's the same director as Challengers. But Zendaya and Mike Feist just did a round of press for Challengers, so maybe, I think they're trying. She had a double screening, right? round of press for Challengers. So maybe I think they're trying. She had like a double screening, right?
Starting point is 01:28:07 For Dune and Challengers. Yeah. She should win something. She is very good. Yeah. I think Dune will definitely get technical awards like costuming or something. Like it'll get those nominations. It'll be interesting to see.
Starting point is 01:28:18 I think it's hard to break through this year because her movies came out so early. Yeah. I honestly thought for challenger she'd be a shoo-in but then so much has like happened these uh the past couple months with like amelia prez and wicked that now i'm like damn but i heard amelia prez wasn't getting good reviews either people are not not talking about it's getting good not from like i think audience scores are kind of like all over the place but from critics it's doing well oh i besides wicked of course challenger is my favorite movie
Starting point is 01:28:45 of the whole year. I still love it so much. What did I see like three times when I was pregnant? I love that movie. It's so good because I feel like that's a talent.
Starting point is 01:28:52 To make a movie that's like kind of about nothing like so fascinating to watch. That's true. You know what I mean? There's not a big ornate plot. No. It really is just like
Starting point is 01:28:59 the horny and yeah. But it's exciting. Like they're sweaty. The angles are cool. Like everything about it is like the breakfast bagel sandwich which i still eat to this day i literally because of that movie like loved it so much like i i stand it so hard i hope they win mike feist keeps any snubbed west side story now this i guess he just can't catch a break but i
Starting point is 01:29:19 love him and then there was also the glenn powell look-alike contest too and then this one actually was pretty good a big showing in texas for the glenn powell look-alike context that's where he's from is from glenn powell's hometown and it does make sense i feel like glenn powell kind of easier to look like right i feel like yeah he looks like everyone to me yeah especially in texas i feel like you can probably find a lot of glenn powells and there were yeah the lookalikes were pretty good for that one and glenn powell's um mom even went to be one of the judges. Oh, love that. So she picks a wedding.
Starting point is 01:29:48 Did he look like him? Honestly, yeah. But he was at everyone. I mean, everyone looks like him. That's why to me he's never been anything to me because I'm like, God, I know like 20 people. Like where I'm from, like everybody looks like that. Good looking, I guess. But like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:30:00 Just kind of nothing. It did kind of cement him movie star status, though, because he had a big crowd. And then he also, like, he couldn't come to be a part of the Lookalike contest because he was filming. But he sent, like, a video message. And then he invited the Lookalike winners family, like, as a guest role in his next movie. Because he always has his parents as, like, little cameos in the background of his movie. So he's like, to get the same Glenn experience, you can have one of your family members be in the movie, which is nice. I think he's doing too much.
Starting point is 01:30:30 That's too much. What? I think it's so charming. No one's going to be into that when the movie comes out. Oh, those are the lookalike parents. That's a lot. I think it's so charming. No, I think he tries too much.
Starting point is 01:30:40 He gives me tries too much vibes. I don't think against him. I think he just doesn't like too much. I can see. It is a little try hard, but I think it's charming. I don't vibes. I don't think against him. I think he just doesn't like too much. I can see. It is a little try-hard, but I think it's charming. I don't know. I don't like... He doesn't excite me the way that he excites a lot of people.
Starting point is 01:30:52 No. He doesn't... I don't know. I don't get the rush for Glenn Powell, but I think he is so sweet and charming. Well, yeah, but... It's one of those PR moments where they're like, oh, there's this thing. We need to find a way to make it special in PR and maybe to go viral i mean that's more viral than that i thought the twister press tour was the most boring thing in the whole world why are you dead like
Starting point is 01:31:12 weren't they like in a simulation like oh my god this is crazy i was like what is this i looked i like the twister's press tour and he brought his dog everywhere i'm like that's cute boring boring so boring did he host snl did he host snl i'm right just like oh that's cute. Boring. So boring. Did he host SNL? Did he host SNL? Did he? Oh, that's Ryan Gosling. See, they all look the same. They do. They blend into each other to me.
Starting point is 01:31:30 Yeah. Yeah. But I don't know. I thought it was cute. I like that he's still sending a little video. He seems like, I don't know, and sent his mom there. I'm like, that's cute. It's cute.
Starting point is 01:31:39 I like it. Bored of it. But that's fine, I guess. I do feel like we are reaching a little bit too much of the lookalike contest, so they were fun. And I like the sense of community. But now I'm a little like, okay. It's too much. Too many people. I feel like we've
Starting point is 01:31:55 done them all. The Hasan one will be my last. I'll tap out after that, just because I'm curious. That is a good question. When is the Hasan one? You know who's unique looking and nobody can look like them? You. I look like everyone. That guy over there. John Krasinski.
Starting point is 01:32:12 Keeps coming back. Why does he have two covers? I don't know. They have two. I don't even need one. Neither one of them, I'm sorry, are giving sexiness. Again, good looking, but like this is the sexiest man, this gray blazer right here. Like that's so weird.
Starting point is 01:32:24 That look is crazy he looks like Shane Dawson here the eyebrows I see it yeah I do see it okay well yeah Hassan's lookalike contest
Starting point is 01:32:33 is December 8th in Buckingham Fountain Chicago damn what was the date sorry December 8th December 8th yeah
Starting point is 01:32:40 sounds very official is he gonna be there you think is he from Chicago I have no like why Chicago I have no idea because I know like Oakland and Zendaya I know you be there, you think? Is he from Chicago? I have no, like, why Chicago? I have no idea. Because I know, like, Oakland and Zendaya.
Starting point is 01:32:47 I know you said Cleopatra was Texas, so maybe he's from Chicago. Maybe. This is crazy. Like, literally, the, again, being sexiest man, it should be, like, a wet t-shirt. Like, why is he in, like, these blazers? Some, literally anything else. Literally. Literally anything else.
Starting point is 01:32:59 It's all dark, and it just looks, I mean, this is, all right. Well, we know it's because he's the only one that accepted it right actually though wow he's okay well yeah i just don't get the vision i don't get the vision the artistic vision because even like like the hollywood reporter i think did like um their round up of like you know actors of the year or whatever and that photo shoot shoot of like Glenn Powell and Josh Richards and not Josh Richards. Oh my God. Josh O'Connor. Josh O'Connor. Jonathan Bailey.
Starting point is 01:33:30 Like they all look sexier than the sexiest man in the world. Whatever the styling they did for this is insane. Love him. He should have been on the cover
Starting point is 01:33:37 of John Krasinski. I like that they have him in like food and stuff like that. It's also a person at least people have opinion about him. He looks good.
Starting point is 01:33:46 You know what I mean? Yeah, true. Interesting choice. His eyes are pretty. I don't know what he's eating. That doesn't look that good. No bolognese. I'm ready for the magazine to be like, let's do bolognese in the shoot.
Starting point is 01:33:56 Well, actually, you know what? Fashion Nova did that. Yeah, I was going to say. You just did that. They're like, where's your favorite spaghetti meatballs? I was like, for lunch? Or for a shoot? I was like, all right.
Starting point is 01:34:04 So I told them to hire me to kick through i know that would have been great fashion was wild if you go to their tiktok right now fashion of a curve.com this is or not fashion over curve on tiktok not an ad literally their last 50 i'm not exaggerating 50 tiktoks are all me that's fierce i got like hired to do a content day and i was like cool love it yes it was a good bag i was like thank you so much i love doing this content day i thought it was being a model but it's literally just like their entire TikTok. It's like my second account. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:34:27 They really maximized it because I was only there eight hours, but they really did a lot. That is a long time though. It was a lot. That mukbang I ate for like literally an hour and a half by the end. I was like so sick after that. I was like, whoa. It was good though. They gave me nuggets and pizza, but it was cool by the end.
Starting point is 01:34:41 Love Fashion Nova. Hailey Bieber. Remember I said I was trying to be on the Hailey Bieber Like train She kind of pissed me off She kind of pissed me off again Yeah and I really Was trying to be on the Hailey Bieber Bandwagon like I said love the phone
Starting point is 01:34:59 Case like in the little road I think all the road stuff is cute the strawberry milk Whatever the Krispy Kreme donuts From last year i was like you know i could get behind but um she called out billboard um over their ranking of justin bieber on the greatest pop stars of the 21st century oh i did see something about this yeah yeah justin bieber was um placed eighth place on the 25 greatest pop stars of the 21st century, which he's above Adele and like Ariana Grande. So it's still a really good achievement, good accomplishment. But she commented on the Instagram of him being eighth place saying that Billboard is an effing joke as per usual. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:35:41 The aggression. I know. And I'm like, wait, girl, what are you talking about? Eighth place, the greatest pop stars of all, like the 21st century. There's so many.
Starting point is 01:35:50 What's the 21st century? Is it 2000 and on? I think so, yeah. Oh. 21st century, yeah. Well, yeah, I mean, also like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:58 He's above, being above Adele? Like, okay, he's literally above Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Usher, Adele, Ariana Grande.
Starting point is 01:36:07 The only people above him so far are Rihanna. Rihanna's third so far. They haven't announced number two or number one. It's going to be Beyonce and Taylor, but we don't know the place. Ooh. Who's number one? Probably Beyonce. Everyone loves Beyonce.
Starting point is 01:36:19 I think Beyonce's been around longer, so it kind of makes more sense from Destiny's Child to Solo. Yeah. Because Beyonce was on her second album or third album when Taylor debuted. So longevity-wise, I feel like Beyonce makes sense. Also, they fear for their lives. Yeah. Thank you, Beyonce. I love you, Beyonce.
Starting point is 01:36:37 But above him, number seven is Kanye West, which I was like, okay, that's a choice. But then Britney's number six. Lady Gaga's five. Drake is four. Rihanna's number six. Lady Gaga's five. Drake is four. Rihanna's number three. And then Taylor Beyonce. Drake? I would be mad, I guess, too, if my husband knows I should be above Drake.
Starting point is 01:36:53 But can you imagine if I was commenting on posts about you on articles and things? Yeah, if Kanye and Drake are above me, I hope you are. That is wild. I'm in support of Hailey Bieber on this one. Absolutely. Drake at least has so many like i can't tell you what song is on the cell phone call me on my cell phone hotline bling um is that the same song that's the cell phone song yeah um one dance i know one dance i mean i'm not a drake
Starting point is 01:37:16 i'm not team drake at all but i can at least acknowledge everything he releases does really really well i don't think he's that great but he is a really big artist that kind of makes sense and also justin hasn't released anything in a long time like everyone else i think that's the main thing because they're still pushing music out and he doesn't need to that's how iconic justin bieber is yeah but that's why i'm like eighth place i feel like you should be at peace with i don't know eighth place is good but look at the company you're at like right like ariana just had a number one album this year two number one singles and he's still above her you know what the girl's postpartum i think she
Starting point is 01:37:50 should feel all the emotions and let them know you're right anything about the postpartum that's true but and she did end up deleting the comment thankfully but i'm like i don't know that's wild she got like bullied into deleting it stand by it girl stand by your truth maybe he asked her like hey i can't see if i if i commented that you'd be like delete that no i wouldn't i mean wow look at him standing up for me no absolutely not i can't buy her i like that she supported it i love the comment i get it oh my god i like cried for days i couldn't go to my chemical romance concert when i was postpartum so you know get all those feelings out all the emotions and absolutely it is an effing joke i agree what is it billboard yes effing joke. I agree. What is it, Billboard?
Starting point is 01:38:25 Yes. Effing joke, Billboard. But Kanye, I mean, I just think like Prince of All Alone, he shouldn't even be on there. Like what? That's crazy. I don't care all his talent. No, but all the talent in the world. If you're like a really sh**ty people person in 2024, like you really said like awful things to like a wide group of people.
Starting point is 01:38:41 And like didn't have remorse, didn't take it back, said it wrong, nothing like that. I think that like you're just excluded from everything. Your talent doesn't matter at that point. Like it's just like you're a human. So I think that like should take into like some accountability of it all. That was wild. Yeah, that's an effing joke. I'm with Haley on that. Justin should be number three. Above Britney? Oh, no, no, no. Britney should be number one. Britney, Beyonce, Taylor, Justin. Lady Gaga? Well, you know me. I'm not a little monster, okay? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:39:12 I haven't really gotten into the Gaga universe, but maybe one day I will. You know me. I'll always jump on that bandwagon. I still gotta watch the Joker. Joker-le-do? Is that what it's called? Fo-le-do. What's that? Something about a dance. Oh, something and dance? I don't know. know i gotta watch it that's on my list that hot frosty i do want to see how fast everyone's like clowning him they're like wow he's not hot i was like oh my
Starting point is 01:39:35 god what i think he is yeah i was like it was you know it's like oh we've watched it's greek it's the it was the guy that dated alexis and shit's greek that like kind of cute guy but he looks so different now i still think he's hot's hot, but he does look like a completely different person. Oh, I thought he was like a hot... Yeah, I was like, what happened to him? He's not hot enough. I was like, oh my God. Jesus. There's also a Lindsay Lohan movie coming out Wednesday. With Kristen Chenoweth. Oh, really? Yeah. What's it called? I forget
Starting point is 01:39:55 what it's called. I have it on my list of things to watch because I want to watch Hot Frosty. I love like... Oh, that's my goal for next year. CA, hi if you're listening. I want to act in a hallmark christmas movie so bad these are netflix or even more con but um our little secret is the lindsey one yes i love it i uh i would love to be in like one with like a plus size like lead where it's like like there's a baker who loves rolls and i'll be like look at all these rolls you know
Starting point is 01:40:20 what i mean like just something like that where it's like super sexy is it nicola cockland they're gonna be the next bond girl did you hear that oh no but that's like that where it's like super sexy is it Nicola Cochran that's gonna be the next Bond girl did you hear that oh no but that's fierce she's like a doctor who she's like everywhere it's everything but I would love
Starting point is 01:40:29 you know just putting it out there it worked for British and Netflix if you want a Christmas lead I would love to do I wouldn't be in a Christmas movie so bad get Candace Cameron
Starting point is 01:40:36 Bray out of there you know what I mean because honestly she is kind of homophobic right and I feel like we just can't tolerate that in 2024
Starting point is 01:40:41 in 2025 especially oh yeah more so 2025 we're definitely not tolerating it so that needs to go i would love to see you and i love like the the formula for like a hallmark and i these are very it's netflix but these still like very hallmark yeah it's very just like camp you know i can't leave um i can't live in this small town i'm traveling from the big city and i'm here and it's the spirit of Christmas and you're a hot man, but the big city is calling me.
Starting point is 01:41:10 I can't stay here. I need to go work. But it's the Christmas spirit and it's all about this small town and the spirit of the holidays. I think I need to move here and help this town. It's like always that. That's the Lindsay Lohan movie last year with Torn Over Street. I did a whole asmr just like
Starting point is 01:41:26 that i'm doing a whole christmas movie in asmr i that it's because it is that's kind of in the day that's what christmas makes you feel like it's like forget everything else yeah it's the christmas season no like i just want the small town cozy feeling i love it that is so many plots but i love it so much and i want to be in that movie because that probably just makes you feel so warm and cozy i know and I love the idea like you filming it in the middle of summer or something
Starting point is 01:41:47 oh yeah it's always July when they film it and I love that too I'm so ready I love a good Christmas movie and especially these kind Chad Michael Murray
Starting point is 01:41:55 is like doing a bunch of promotion for his I love that all these actors like Lacey Sherbert like all these people are just doing it Lindsay Lohan such a slay doing all these
Starting point is 01:42:00 yes it's really probably lucrative because they probably have budget Vanessa Hudgens did like five of her Christmas princess movies. Remember the Netflix one where she was like a twin, it was like a twin Christmas princess
Starting point is 01:42:11 or something? I forget the plot. I have no idea. That's iconic. There was like four or five of them and they were always big hits. I think she had to tap out after a while
Starting point is 01:42:17 because it's like how many, you can't keep doing it. I would do it every July. That's all I'd want to do. That'd be so fun. Especially because July's kind of depressing. There's nothing happening.
Starting point is 01:42:24 It's kind of slow. I would love to have Christmas in July. I saw a rumor, there to do. That'd be so fun. Especially because July is kind of depressing. There's nothing happening. It's kind of slow. I would love to have Christmas in July. I saw a rumor. There was like a whole thing coming out of someone who used to work at Hallmark who said like Lacey Sherbert.
Starting point is 01:42:32 Is that how you pronounce your last name? I don't know. From Mean Girls fame, obviously. But like there was someone who used to work at Hallmark that alleged that they were like,
Starting point is 01:42:39 oh, they're looking for someone younger to replace her because they're tired of these older actresses in these like Hallmark movies. How old is she? That's a good question. She must be late 30s, early 40s.
Starting point is 01:42:50 She might be 39, I would guess. Because Rachel McAdams is in her 40s now. That's true. Yeah, it is crazy actually. 42. Well, I am younger, Netflix. I'm 36. Me just going against.
Starting point is 01:43:02 Right. Get those old out of there. 36. Young and spry. I'm ready. Well, it's worth Hallmark has refuted the allegations. But yeah. Fake news.
Starting point is 01:43:15 All right. Well, I was envisioning like Hallmark needs someone to show like us. Like I said, I don't do nudity. Do they? Not at the Hallmark. No, it's very wholesome. Like I said, this small town. Candace came in braids, not doing nudity at Hallmark movies? Not at the Hallmark. No, it's very wholesome. Like I said, the small town. Candace Cameron Bray is not doing nude scenes at Hallmark for sure.
Starting point is 01:43:28 Maybe Netflix. The Chad Michael Murray one, he's a stripper. He's like, right. Yeah. Is the Hot Frosty Netflix too? Uh-huh. Okay, so I'm going to go to the Netflix one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:36 And I always thought if they want to show a real C-section scar, I'd go naked for it. You know what I mean? Not a prosthetic one too because I've seen sometimes. Well, actually, you know what? They never show C-section scars. I think that's a movement Onto itself I feel like people are just Like scared to show it
Starting point is 01:43:48 It honestly should Because I feel like It's so normal YouTube demonetized My C-section video What? Yeah I showed my scar And they like demonetized it
Starting point is 01:43:55 For like nudity I was like okay First of all Not even nudity It's like my pelvic area Like it's so weird That is weird Yeah don't shame
Starting point is 01:44:01 Don't shame the C-sections But anyways If anyone wants A scarred person In their video Naked Lee Daniels, call me up. Precious too.
Starting point is 01:44:11 That'd be wild to see my scarred up body on the big screen. I would love it. I think it gives so much for the scar community, so much positivity. Granted, my scars were because of my choice. Well, actually, technically not this one, but these were, I guess, my choice to be scarred, but scarred forever.
Starting point is 01:44:25 Yeah. Don scarred forever. Nonetheless, yeah. Yeah. Don't mind it. I love a scar. People are always like, don't you want to get rid of those? I was like, no, I'm good. Who was it? Oh.
Starting point is 01:44:35 I was trying to think. There was another. I think Sebastian Stan just did a movie with someone who was, I don't know, scarred or like disfigured in some way. Yeah. To. And yeah, it was like a lot of good representation because I think the person was actually like in the movie
Starting point is 01:44:47 or like was working in the movie too. And everyone was like, oh, this is good like representation. Yeah. I feel like there's just so much like body types and things that are out there that should be shown more. Normalized. Glorified. Oh my god.
Starting point is 01:45:00 This was a topic submitted by Jimmy and I'm really excited to get your take on it. Our editor, Jimmy? Yes. Hi, Jimmy? Yes. Hi, Jimmy. He's so busy nowadays. I was asking for 5,000 things. Can you get Patreon, a clip, a TikTok, this one, Terry Joe?
Starting point is 01:45:15 There's so many things. He's like, if I'm overwhelming you, let me know. He's like, I got it. Don't worry. I was like, okay. Jimmy, if I overwhelm you, let me know. Because I do love to just pile things on people. I'm just like, oh, how about this, this, and this?
Starting point is 01:45:28 He submitted this hot topic it's um amelia de maldenberg's chicken shop date with elmo but specifically elmo being a little uh body shaming oh yeah no oh could you imagine he gets canceled finally that little white goober's been around too long it's the cookie monster. Oh no. Okay, so let me, I'll play the clip. Jamie specifically said, he's like, I'm gonna do a side-by-side. So he was, he's ready for it.
Starting point is 01:45:52 Who, side-by-side of what? Of this clip with you reacting to it. Oh, I was gonna show you the main person you should have done it, I was supposed to do it. And it's like, how many cookies have you had? Does Sesame Street have chicken shops? We have chickens who go to shops. I feel like chicken's probably a shopaholics
Starting point is 01:46:05 They like to buy corn. What do you think the Cookie Monster would make of chicken shops? A mess? Right. He would eat this table if you let him. He'd eat the whole thing. Would you say you have a smaller appetite than Cookie Monster? Most people do. Right, like kind of body shaming. devil amongst us is elmo that's that person needs to be fired i'm sorry i know we shouldn't call for that but like i think maybe that could you imagine oh my god what the hell like it went on and on like it was like i was getting the first one i was having disbelief oh my god in this whole table oh my god oh my god fat phobia is alive and well too in 2024 which is like sesame street elmo is a little i don't like him more he should hire him
Starting point is 01:46:59 to have a podcast together i think it just body shame and ask about who was the actor that attacked elmo on the today show or something do you remember that we talked about it i remember someone attacked elmo what's his name from is he always sunny is it that guy what's his name had it coming i guess god almost been saying this for a long time larry david that's what it was. Oh, iconic. Icon. Did he attack him? He attacked Elmo because he was going on about mental health and I couldn't take it. I throttled him and I would do it again.
Starting point is 01:47:35 I love that Elmo preaches mental health but then also fat shaming Cookie Monster. Okay. This always happens. That is such a reflection of society. People are like, yes, mental health. Also, you fat Cookie Monster. Eating everything. Shrugging more table. I mean, Malibu is going to be so upset.
Starting point is 01:47:45 She loves cookie monster. Yeah. Oh, no. Well, cookie monster only in this house. No more Elmo. I don't even need to say Elmo. I'm sorry. Elmo is annoying.
Starting point is 01:47:53 His voice, everything about him is so awful. I'm Elmo. He thinks he's a star of Sesame Street. No, you ain't. Not even close. I'm surprised he didn't get more like backlash for that I was like damn is Elmo immune from canceling it might have to be you
Starting point is 01:48:10 you might have to raise I'll keep talking about it every episode he's the new Colleen I will never stop talking about it they have a lot of similarities I guess they love to body shame alright well just cause you're jealous of Cookie Monster that he's more beloved and has way more They have a lot of similarities, I guess. They love to body shame. All right.
Starting point is 01:48:27 Well, just because you're jealous of Cookie Monster, that he's more beloved and has way more action figures than you ever will, Elmo. You were cool in 95 with the tickle me, Elmo, when you were sold out, but you're still on the shelf last time I checked. So just dragging Elmo. I don't like it. Oh, my God. I don't like it. That guy's – that's wild.
Starting point is 01:48:43 That's wild. Did she say anything? She didn't even defend him. No, I don't even it. That guy's, that's wild. I want to, that's wild. Did she say anything? She didn't even like defend him. No, I don't even think it's been like talked about that much. Surprisingly, I'm like, this needs more awareness. Flip it. Put it on TikTok. It does need more awareness.
Starting point is 01:48:53 Jimmy sent me this clip so I can put it on TikTok. I want it to go viral. Brought it everywhere. Because I think there is probably more like Elmo hate out there for sure. Rightfully so. It's just like, yeah, he's been going under the radar under a guy. He's cute and funny and sassy. A little devil amongst us. For sure. It's just like, yeah, he's been going under the radar under a guy. He's cute and funny and sassy. A devil amongst us.
Starting point is 01:49:08 For sure. He's red. Like the devil. It is devil coated. Yeah, it's devil coated for sure. The red is devil coated. Nothing wrong with the color red. Unless you're Elmo.
Starting point is 01:49:18 Unless you're Elmo. Oh my God. That's wild. Or stop sign. Huh? Or stop sign. Or stop sign. Oh yeah, T.
Starting point is 01:49:24 Jimmy, that was a good one because I have not heard that anywhere else. I know sign. Or stop sign. Oh yeah, Tina. Jimmy, that was a good one because I have not heard that anywhere else. I know. And I love that we're talking about it and I think that should be talked about more. Yeah. Especially cartoons. Cartoons get away with everything
Starting point is 01:49:32 because they're a cartoon. It's like crazy. It's like being a man in this world. It's like, oh, you can say whatever you want. It's like, I'll have a comedian though. Oh, I'm a cartoon. Okay. Or a puppet, I guess.
Starting point is 01:49:41 Yeah. It's like, exactly. A puppet. Okay. They also. I mean, he is a straight man no more. We don it's like, exactly, a puppet, okay. They also... I mean, he is a straight man, Elmo. We don't know. We don't know the sexuality.
Starting point is 01:49:49 Let's not go crazy. We don't want to assume. I think he would have told us if it was that. Do they even talk about sexuality on Sesame Street? I don't even know. It's a good question. Yeah, because Eric and Benz, they were a gay couple. Who's Eric and Benz?
Starting point is 01:50:01 The one that's like long head and... Oh. What do you call them here? With the orange hair? Yeah. Oh, gee, they were gay? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:50:13 We don't know that. Okay, well. Sounds problematic. We canceled Sesame Street. Is it still on? Is it still going? It is still going. I'm pretty sure. I think Andrew Garfield was on there talking about grief. I did see that. Yeah canceled Sesame Street. Is it still on? Is it still going? It is still going. I'm pretty sure.
Starting point is 01:50:26 I think Andrew Garfield was on there talking about grief. I didn't see that. Yeah, me too. I thought that was sweet. They do have their sweet. I guess it depends on whose hand is up Elmo, I suppose. I don't know. I'm sure there's different hands, right?
Starting point is 01:50:37 Or different people. Is there? I don't know. You have to stay true to the character. Yeah, that's true. You know what I mean? You can't go off too far. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:44 So like if you're the different actors who play the characters at Disneyland, they're all the same. They have the same MO. Yes, exactly. Yeah. You have to have the backstory, what would they do in this situation. That's wild. I can't believe it was on Chicken Shop Day.
Starting point is 01:50:56 What are you promoting anyways? That's a good question. Just Sesame Street, I guess. Just being alone? Yeah. Sesame Street. The flopped toys, I suppose. The flopped toys.
Starting point is 01:51:05 That's the real team. Remember when Tickle Me Almost? Do you remember those? Yeah. They flopped toys. That's the real thing. Remember when Tickle Me Almost, you remember those? Yeah. They were sold out. Those things were so scary. I was like, no, thank you. I never wanted one. I don't think I was ever a Sesame Street girl either.
Starting point is 01:51:14 Yeah, they have like a Sesame Street world down in like San Diego, like a land you can go to. But it looks a little rinky dinky. If you ask me, it looks a little bit, it looks scary. Like all those little puppet things look scary around there. It just does not look like the vibe. Well, another problematic diva, Jojo Siwa, did break up with her girlfriend from. What?
Starting point is 01:51:36 I thought they had a $30,000 trip to Hawaii. Poor Jojo. I do. Poor girlfriend. Wait, what? Poor girlfriend girlfriend we don't know what happened oh they are she said that they're still like amicable it's not like the other that uh what was the other one what was her name i forgot her name that first the that they were like on tiktok together all the time and then yeah okay this one's like amicable for now it's a little bit
Starting point is 01:52:01 more that's true or just uh who the F did I date? Yeah. Oh, man. That would be the series for sure. Look, I mean, I think JoJo, she has her issues, you know, but I think she's going to have a hard time dating. I think just in general because she is – I think she's just had a lot going through her life. I don't think she's unpacked.
Starting point is 01:52:21 I don't think she's really like, you know, like – what's the word I'm looking for? I guess unpacked what's happened to her in life. I don't think she's unpacked. I don't think she's really like, you know, like, what's the word I'm looking for? I guess unpacked what's happened to her in life. So I feel like she's still kind of stuck with like, everything's great and I'm cool and I'm in control of my character and my image. But I think she like will realize one day she's maybe been through a little bit more than she realizes, which is maybe why she's having trouble keeping relationships. I mean, she's gone. I'm not judging it. Like, I
Starting point is 01:52:40 first of all, I did not have a relationship when I was 20. Nobody wanted to date me. But yeah, I think she'll, she seems to have, you know, whatever. I'm not trying to relationship when I was 20 nobody wanted to date me but um yeah I think she'll she seems to have you know whatever I'm not trying to judge alright well sad wish you well it was just like I think the timing of it because she was like I'm she vowed
Starting point is 01:52:56 after the last one she's like I'm never going public again with the relationship and then like she went public and then a month later they broke up and then like she she overshared about like the vacation and all that um and then like she went public and then a month later they broke up and then like she took she overshared about like the vacation and all that um and then she did reflect on that she said you f up and you put things in public and you shouldn't be um and she said unfortunately that's the only way that you learn sometimes and i've had to learn some hard lessons but they paid off in the end um and she said she made a new friend that has appreciated how resilient she is.
Starting point is 01:53:25 Already? I think just a platonic friend. Okay. Why didn't you include it then? Honestly, wait. I didn't even look into it that much. But now that you said that, she said, I recently had a new friend come into my life. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:53:39 And the one thing that they always talk to me about is how resilient I am. They kind of hold a mirror up to myself. And I'm really appreciative of that friendship. Because that's a really interesting thing to have someone put a mirror in front of you and do it in a positive way. It's brought a new perspective into my life. See the fact that she's already giving credit to this friend. It's like if you have a friend in your life you don't like hold them up on a pedestal like this like this new friend thank you I love having a friend
Starting point is 01:53:56 like that would be like not the thing you would say in this article so girl just slow down I really do love you Jojo I know you think I always come for you but it's out of love. I give you tough love and I think you need to slow down I think you need to slow down not get a new friend
Starting point is 01:54:07 right away because I think friendship is just something you need to not focus on right now because I think also like her idea of friendship is also very skewed
Starting point is 01:54:14 based on like the friend she's had in her life and who she defends in her life and I think she's just a little bit like confused on what friendship means too
Starting point is 01:54:20 so and what a healthy friendship is look I don't know either I'm with you I'm telling you as a 36 year old you is like maybe we'll have a great relationship
Starting point is 01:54:27 one day and get those Freddy Eddie and Teddies I'm sure you will but let's let's slow it down a little bit let's just focus on you and not all these friends but also if you want to make something public make it public girl like I get it I love it when you're in love you want to show it like look this person loves me I think she's a chronic overshare though
Starting point is 01:54:43 for sure there was a study though recently um and i saw on the i've had it ladies podcast ironically but they were saying how like there's a study shown that like the couples who don't post about their significant others as much are more often happier in their relationships than the people who post or like overshare i was like that's kind of t that's kind of t they know something those i've had at Laney's. They really do. I think so. I do think so. I think sometimes, I don't know. I think when you overshare, it's not even like you're trying to prove something, but it does kind of feel like you have
Starting point is 01:55:12 to compete with other people. Like, oh, look, we're also in a loving relationship. So I think it's like, yeah, I think that's kind of something to it. Whereas opposed to when you're just like happy, you don't like share every single moment. It's like broke people that flaunt money. Like flaunting something that's not there. I like to flaunt our love.
Starting point is 01:55:30 And I think it's there. But JoJo should call Nat Loveline. She should. She should come guest. Give some advice. That's a good idea. Or get advice. Maybe ask for advice. Come live and ask for advice. I could give JoJo lots of advice. I feel. You usually do.
Starting point is 01:55:43 Yeah. I think that JoJo, there's like two directions she should go I feel like I'm her happy ending JoJo you know what I mean I'm like this is what could be your life girl and I think it'll happen I think it's there I think she needs guidance maybe from me
Starting point is 01:55:54 honestly yeah I would love her come on the pink chair girl I want to know so many questions so many things and yeah you kind of don't hear about her right now but I guess it's good because you can't go in waves you can't be oversaturated all the time she was just uh
Starting point is 01:56:08 she did this interview at another red carpet she's another one that'll go to pretty much any red carpet ever um where was this one it was some random award show oh the 11th annual american reality television awards that's wild what yeah those beauty awards remember they did like all those beauty awards yes they would just make up an award show and it was like Morphe is like the winner and Jaclyn Hill or something. Jaclyn Hill, Patrick Starr. It's like whatever you want. And it would just be like an empty stage with no set design and it's like thank you for
Starting point is 01:56:34 this award. What were it? Like beauty creator awards or something. Yeah. The most random award shows ever. All scams. All of them. I don't trust any unless it's the Emmys.
Starting point is 01:56:45 Or the Trishies. Is that a thing? I was like, what can we do for the end of the year? I was like, maybe the Trishies. I'll do the Trishie Awards. I love it. That's a lot of work. I was going to sit here and announce the winners. Oh, okay. Like categories? We can do that. Jonathan Bailey, Rachel Zegler,
Starting point is 01:57:02 Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift. Oh, yeah. With T. It is kind of like the usual suspects. We'd have to throw in some like, you know, surprises in there too. Yeah. Like who's your favorite person that you hate the most? Oh, T.
Starting point is 01:57:14 You know what I mean? Like of all the people we dog on, who is the winner of like we're secret fans. You know what I mean? Oh, secret fans. I thought it was the one that's like most fun to hate. Oh. I guess we should get the most talked about. Like we say we don't
Starting point is 01:57:27 like you, but we talk about you a lot. Yeah. No, no, that'll be James Charles or something. Oh, James wins. He wins the churchy. Do you want to make them look like fishes? Like the fishes or something? Oh, that's a good idea. That's so cute. Isn't that like a Jesus thing though? Like a golden fish. Remember those little Jesus fish?
Starting point is 01:57:44 Why is Jesus in the fishes? Do you know what I'm talking about? I do know what you're talking about. It was a symbol. Because he fed them fish. So that's the symbol for what? Somehow. Or maybe to the act of the miracle.
Starting point is 01:57:55 Oh, okay. Of him. Because Christianity is like a cross. So I always thought, that's interesting that there's Jesus inside of a fish. Yeah. All right. That's my award. The fishies are Jesus.
Starting point is 01:58:03 The Jesus fish. I'm going to give everybody a little fish of jesus that's cute i like that james charles wins okay i guess you have to come on the podcast james even though you don't want to the categories yeah that's a tough category yeah you know seeker fans another but someone we do talk about a lot. I actually was gagged by this because Mr. Beast. There's a lot going on with Mr. Beast. Listen, I can't really keep up with all that tea. But the one thing I do want to get on Mr. Beast is he was DMing drama channels to cover like this one video about him.
Starting point is 01:58:40 Like he DMed like Spill Sash and all these TikTok accounts to like, hey, you should cover this video. Spill Sash? Yes. Did you show the DM? Yes. Okay dm yes okay spill sash getting all the receipts i was like jimmy why didn't you dm just trish i would have loved i am like kind of feel like we were snubbed like he knows we talk about him tomorrow tomorrow we going to get a PR package. That's right. Jimmy shows up. I'm ready to be interviewed. I could give an interview to Mr. Beast. I need to know.
Starting point is 01:59:09 I need to know a lot of things, though. What did he reveal to them? What did he say? Oh, my God. There was this one. It was like a soggy. I can't keep up with all of it because it's so many names and so many channels. I have literally no idea it ever existed.
Starting point is 01:59:23 And it's like the list of alleged Mr. Beast activities is so long that I literally can't keep up with all of it. But there's this one channel called Soggy Cereal that did a video kind of debunking a lot of the stuff that Dog Pack said about Mr. Beast. Wait, who's Dog Pack? The guy that did that video with Rosanna and they sat together. Oh, all right, all right, all right. And what did
Starting point is 01:59:45 he say he just like he kind of proved that dog pack like um altered a lot of like evidence and like made a lot of claims that weren't a hundred percent factual because he has such a vendetta i guess allegedly against jimmy that like he's just making things look bad which kind of makes sense because even after that video that he did with rosanna, he kept, I kept seeing him tweet like essays about like, oh, I just learned this. Oh, I just learned, like he kept having to correct himself.
Starting point is 02:00:09 Oh, you're on Mr. B's side on this one? No, I'm on the truth. Okay. I'm on the side of the truth. Because it's giving me David Dobrik with me when they were trying to be like, well, Trisha went to a mental hospital. She's great.
Starting point is 02:00:19 Like that's how their defense was like in like this like court thing with their lawyers. Like, well, she's not credible because she has like mental illness kind of thing. It's just like trying to find all the stuff that like proves their discredibility to like but like the stuff they could be saying
Starting point is 02:00:29 could be true but it's like but he did this and he has a vendetta against me and hates me you know what i mean it's like but two things can be true but it's not the personal stuff it's more like he literally is like showing evidence that is not true you know what i mean like he's like altering videos and stuff so that's where he's getting in trouble you know it's very clean it's triggering all of this oh my gosh because i think like there is enough real stuff against mr visa you don't have to go making stuff up because now i feel like we're getting lost in the plot now it's like yes we're all pointing out the stuff that's not true but there is enough stuff that is true you know that it's like yeah so it's weird he just addressed that that's like the one thing jimmy addressed but
Starting point is 02:01:01 nothing else what about like the all the other stuff he did this one um interview the other day and it was like two hours long um and he addressed like a lot of stuff but and i tried to watch it i really did it was an interview with oompa vil and it was just trish coded two hours and 37 minutes long but they don't talk as fast as us and it was just like jimmy going on this big rant explaining like crypto and all this stuff about his business, like defending it and stuff. And I just like could not get myself to care. I was like. Nobody wants to know about that. What about Ava Chris Tyson?
Starting point is 02:01:34 Like what's your status with her? From summaries I've seen, he doesn't really explain anything. He doesn't really do much. He just goes and I don't know. He just talks so much. Yeah. But he's not really. He's like, I didn't know. I don't remember. That kind of stuff.
Starting point is 02:01:47 He's like the Wizard of Oz. There's no real power. He's just like the man behind the curtain. And you're just like, hmm, what do you do, Mr. B? Do you bring anything to the table? Can you? Yeah, because even the crypto stuff is like, I don't know. I'm too stupid to do crypto. I have a guy who does it for me. And I'm like, oh my God. He's like, everyone's
Starting point is 02:02:04 spreading misinformation about the moldy cheese. I'm like, okay, my God. OK. He's like, everyone's spreading misinformation about the moldy cheese. I'm like, OK. What is the misinformation? He said, it leaves our factory. It leaves the Lunchly factory not moldy. But people are getting moldy. He's like, if you type any company in the word mold, they'll find something where their food gets moldy.
Starting point is 02:02:20 I'm like, OK, Jimmy. I don't know. It's all very much like, it was kind of a nothing burger toimmy i don't know it's all very much like it was all it was kind of a nothing burger to me i don't know how about why did rosanna come in third place but he placed her in seventh place that's what i want to know i want to see you on ridiculous and maybe we'll take it seriously go i would love to see him on ridiculous i feel like that's where it's at because it feels like obviously he didn't do it on his own channel he He went to this channel, OompaVille, who his company once invested in. And there's like obviously some kind of relationship there.
Starting point is 02:02:49 And then again, these are such serious allegations. And then like he having like that friendliness in between, you know, it's not like he was hard pressed on anything. It's not like he went to like a real journalist or whatever. So he kind of like skated through, talked a lot. So it was hard for me to really care. I was more a guy that he was DMing all these influencers and it snubbed us. We gave you glowing reviews for your chocolate, but we still hate you.
Starting point is 02:03:14 Because I know you didn't make that chocolate in the factory. You're not Willy Wonka. You're not in there with the OompaVille podcast. I'm sure they're not in there either. Like I just feel like everything about Mr. Beast is awful. But honestly, given the choice between David Dobrik or Mr. Beast, I'm going to pick Mr. Beast. So that's one thing for you, I guess, Jimmy. I guess so, yeah.
Starting point is 02:03:31 He did say he was – he alluded that he was going to end up suing Dogpack. So that does make me a little nervous because I think there is back and forth. Like, is he just saying that to, like, kind of threaten him or – Scare us all. back and forth like is he just saying that to like kind of threaten him or um but i could he i think technically he does have a case because there is like doctored evidence and stuff but did he lose money because he said he specifically said he lost um on his uh charity whatever like his charity stuff he lost like two or three sponsorships like he lost like a million dollars basically so he had to self-fund oh my god whatever someone who makes hundreds of millions of dollars i lost a million and you're gonna sue this creator which i mean i guess i guess if you're trying to make an example
Starting point is 02:04:13 but like you suck like but dog pack doesn't have that much like i don't think he's loaded you know to like kind of like just like you have all this money you're suing someone it's like okay you kind of suck on that end yes okay you proved it you proved that he was a liar great now everyone can see that do you have to sue him like and like take everything from him like that's crazy yeah and then because you'll never get that money because he if he doesn't have it he can't give it back yeah so it's really just to make him pay everything out of like legal fees to really like torture him but the only thing i can think of is this i don't know if this applies still for like i'm thinking must for like youtube world but for like journalism world like if you have a show
Starting point is 02:04:50 and you have someone on that makes all these claims and all the evidence and stuff the show could also be named in this suit or like be liable you know what i mean can be folded into the lawsuit and so then i was like, because he went on Rosanna's channel and then made all these big claims. Like that's where he made the claims about the photo
Starting point is 02:05:09 of Ivanka Trump being underage when she wasn't. Oh no. And the Telegram account that was, they said was for work, but it wasn't for work.
Starting point is 02:05:19 Oh no, yeah. So that's the only thing I'm thinking of is. Gotta do all that fact check. Yeah. Or allegedly or something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:05:25 I mean, they did say allegedly, but allegedly also doesn't save you from everything because those are such big like claims. So if he does have damages from that stuff, I'm worried about Rosanna. But again, I don't know because then you have to go. So much would come out in discovery that I'm like, does Jimmy really want all this other stuff to come out and be like. Oh, for sure. That everything gets drafted up.
Starting point is 02:05:44 Yeah. Like every financial thing, contract, everything about these employees. Did they really take, keep tampons from their female contestants? You know, like. Yeah. He's right now on Twitter promoting the show. Oh my God. Hey, Mr. Beast?
Starting point is 02:05:56 Yeah. What did it say? Here's a little teaser for Beast Games. I spent over a year creating this 10 episode competition series, breaking 40 world records, building crazy assets in the entertainment business, featuring 1,000 players and $5 million grand prize. I poured everything I have into this show.
Starting point is 02:06:12 I'll see you December 19th. No, thank you. On Prime. And it's Amazon at the end. That's crazy. Amazon still likes to buy them through all this. But I'm like, if you have all this, go to TV and talk about it. Not to like a little YouTube channel you own.
Starting point is 02:06:25 Yeah, that is the weird choice is that podcast going on that one. That's so random. Like Gwando Rogan or something where they care. You know, then you could probably get like some case, but OompaVille. Is that what it's called? Yes. That's wild. Like what?
Starting point is 02:06:38 Who's been on it? What's another guest that's been on it? I have no idea. That is weird. Okay, well, if you want a real interview, come to Jess Trish. Would you really press him or would you fold? I don't even know.
Starting point is 02:06:51 I kind of get lost in the lore. I don't even know. I know, there's so much. I'm trying to even think, like, what did he get canceled for originally? I kind of don't know. You put Rosanna in your ear
Starting point is 02:06:58 or something because there's so much. I definitely want to ask about Rosanna. I'd press him about that. Everything else, I'm kind of confused by. Me too.
Starting point is 02:07:04 I'm like, what happened when? The crypto, I don't know. That I don't know. I don't know at all. I'd ask about Rosanna. I'd press him about that. Yeah. Everything else I'm kind of confused by. Me too. I'm like, what happened when? The crypto. I don't know. That I don't know. I don't know at all. I'd ask about the Amazon Prime. I really want to know about the women's issue. That's true.
Starting point is 02:07:11 The show stuff is big. Yeah. That's what I need to know. So that I would ask about. Why did you take away these nuts? Or the chocolate bar. We wanted to try them. They were all gone from Target.
Starting point is 02:07:23 There's so many questions. Why are they discontinued? Yeah. that's what i'd ask him the hard-hitting stuff yeah i think i'd have a good one with him but he is giving like elon musk vibes like he really is giving elon vibes and i hear the way he talks about like the lunch factory we have one of the greatest factories in the world we would never have mold i'm like okay relax like i'm sure like what no also like cheese does just get moldy just acknowledge i was like it's
Starting point is 02:07:45 cheese it gets moldy yeah when the milk came out of the cow it wasn't moldy like well it's what it's still what you did with it after and how you ship it and how you store it weird and you still partner with the dubious logan paul i want to know like why why i get it like prime but what yeah i i don't know it's all i don't know. It's all – I don't know if he'll – I mean his audience – does his audience care? No. His views have gone down a fraction. Yeah. But little kids that watch him haven't heard about any of this and they don't care.
Starting point is 02:08:14 Yeah. Yeah. I guess it's just a bunch of people talking and he doesn't care. Yeah. He's promoting Amazon and Amazon still stands by him. They're like, whatever. This is still – which is crazy. That's what it's just supposed to show.
Starting point is 02:08:23 When you're like this – like a white man, like you just get like uncancellable. You can do literally anything. He's gone through so many cancellations and Amazon Prime is still which is crazy that's what it just shows show when you're like this like like a white man like you just get like uncancellable you can do literally anything he's gone through so many cancellations and amazon prime is still what is it amazon prime is it amazon prime how funny he partners with prime and amazon prime prime the drink and why do they have the same name that was so stupid i don't know i still don't get it and there's also like a prime truck that like delivers stuff but i guess that's not related to not related to Amazon Prime? Last time I talked about it all the comments were like that's a different prime.
Starting point is 02:08:49 That's not the drink or Amazon Prime. That's confusing. I know. Too many primes. There's Optimus Prime. Too many. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 02:08:56 Too many primes. Prime numbers. Name a prime number. One. Is it? What's the opposite of a prime number? Good question.
Starting point is 02:09:03 You can divide them. The even number is what are those called? There's even and odd. What's prime opposite of a prime number? Good question. You can divide them, I think. The even number is, what are those called? There's even and odd. What's prime and what? Prime you can't divide. Composite. Composite?
Starting point is 02:09:16 Yeah. I've never heard it called a composite number. I forgot about prime numbers. Like one, three, seven. Yeah. I'm glad that that came out of your mouth. That's not what I think of. It's like prime numbers. Like 137? Yeah. I'm glad that that came out of your mouth. That's what I think of as like prime numbers. I literally can't tell you the last time I thought about a prime number.
Starting point is 02:09:32 That's because I knew one though. Like a secret genius this whole time. Actually, I know everything about math. Honestly, T. And you know pi. 3.14782765525978. Speaking of pi's, where are they? Oh, yeah, what happened? Are you checking my phone? No, but I headed them to the gate in case they show up.
Starting point is 02:09:50 Do you want to see? Did I get canceled? Did I even place the order? Sometimes I forget to place the order. No, I've been doing that too. All right, you guys. I know this was a jam-packed Hot Topics, but the Hot Topics are about to get even hotter
Starting point is 02:10:00 because we have wicked popcorn buckets on their way right now. In fact, I see him. Oh, my gosh. Who is that? Wow, he looks so cool. Oh my gosh, is that him? Oh my gosh, finally, after emails and emails exchanged, here he is live in the flesh, Ben with Wicked Popcorn Buckets. Oh my god, nice to meet you. This is crazy. Oh my god, how are you? By the way, your emails are the best written emails I've ever seen in my entire life. You're amazing. You look great. You're like my idol. Oh my god, you're so sweet.
Starting point is 02:10:30 Oh my god, and you look amazing. You look a pop star. Thank you. You literally look like one of the Guy Ratt stalls. Yes, yes, yes. This is a vibe. You are a vibe. I get instilled from you guys. You guys always go all out. I don't know about that. That's fashion right there. You guys do a hundred and everything you do. And that inspires me.
Starting point is 02:10:48 Any t-shirt, anything I like to say. You look amazing. Oh my god, this is so cool. Alright you guys. This is so exciting. We've already been chatting. I'm so excited. I wanted to do like a big reveal because I'm so excited. We should have the meeting on camera because Well we have. Do we? Do we?
Starting point is 02:11:04 Do you go by Ben or Benjamin? Ben. I was literally shaking when I was meeting you. You look so cool. Let's introduce our guest. Here he is. The man who writes the best emails in the whole world. Collected every single wicked piece of merch to give to us, which is so nice.
Starting point is 02:11:20 The one and only Ben. Do I say your last name or should I not say your last name? Ben Verde. Am I saying it right? Yeah. Ben Verde. I love. You look great. You came in. You literally look like a Bratz doll.
Starting point is 02:11:29 Like you said, you look like a Bratz. He literally looks like, yeah, one of the boy Bratz dolls. Like, this is everything I wish. Same. Same. You look so cool. Like, you're giving Y2K but current. You're giving boy band.
Starting point is 02:11:41 You're giving just everything. Also fashion. I'm sure this is some brand, some fashion designer that I don't know but i love it thank you so much where is this from my brother has a fashion company called dear god so everything i wear yeah it's like alternative or i try to get like handmade pieces oh yeah no i just like wearing things that no one else has oh my god okay cool i know like damn that's in forever 21 yeah same always this was an upgrade this is great i love it oh my gosh i know so we're so you're from orange county you live with your family or oh yeah i'm born and raised from orange county wow that's amazing i
Starting point is 02:12:17 love i love the area we're talking about costa mesa capital girl we're just talking about all the food chimney cakes everything disneyland um knott's berry farm laguna beach i just have to get all the food from there like appetizers desserts entrees and just bring it to you one day i would love the fact that you even offered that and you're as cool as you are because ben's an actor ben's resume is like so expensive you sent like four resumes like your professional resume your acting resume and i was just like you are so you're just so detailed and so extensive everything you do is so cool so the fact that you're like i would love to bring you food i was like you're over you're overqualified that's what i said the first episode so, you're just so detailed and so extensive. Everything you do is so cool. So the fact that you're like, I would love to bring you food. I was like, you're overqualified.
Starting point is 02:12:47 That's what I said the first episode. I mean, you're overqualified. But I appreciate you. And I love it. And I loved your sunglasses when you came in. Everything about you was just cool. The vibe was immaculate. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 02:12:56 I was, like I just said, like, you guys do everything to 100. Like, if you're going to be emo, you go full out. If you're going to be Glinda, you go full out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's like, all or nothing. Because you only live once, you know? I love know like i love that that's what we give to the people yeah all or nothing i like it we're talking about what we're thankful for with thanksgiving and most of i'm thankful for you know organizing your outfits and photo shoots
Starting point is 02:13:17 so thank you i'm really great at that too but um okay let's where do we even start so you went to every single movie theater how did you know which one was where or you just were like i'm just gonna go to all of them oh my gosh so you said on the podcast last tuesday how you wanted all the buckets but they're always sold out the first day which is so sad so the next day i knew that the wicked pre-screening was on wednesday so i woke up went to amc reg and Synmark. Like first one there before they even opened. And I just grabbed one of everything. Even Regal, they had like 10 things and just had like a whole bunch of things in my arms. And he was like, oh yeah, so we can usually
Starting point is 02:13:55 tell if it's like a dad buying it for their daughter or if it's like... When does fast grocery delivery through Instacart matter most? When your famous grainy mustard potato salad isn't so famous without the grainy mustard. When the barbecue's lit, but there's nothing to grill. When the in-laws decide that, actually, they will stay for dinner. Instacart has all your groceries covered this summer. So download the app and get delivery in as fast as 60 minutes.
Starting point is 02:14:22 Plus, enjoy $0 delivery fees on your first three orders. Service fees, exclusions, and terms apply. Instacart, groceries that over-deliver. If it's like... A reseller? Yeah, like a reseller. Someone's buying six of them and they're going to resell it online for $100 apiece.
Starting point is 02:14:40 I'm like, why have I not done that before? I've had so many odd jobs where I just did just did like, even like risky jobs for this extra money, like side hustles. And like, have I not sold buckets for a hundred dollars that cost like 20 bucks? Honestly, yeah. You bought those dune buckets for like 80 bucks, didn't you? I did. I bought like six of them too.
Starting point is 02:14:55 I had so many of them. That is a good, a good one. You were so sweet too. You're like, I bought all these for you, but if you don't want them, I can just resell them. You were like super sweet in the thing. So yeah. I was like so delusional. I was like, okay, maybe she's going to see this and respond. Even though you hadn't want them i can just resell them you were like super sweet and the thing so yeah i was like so delusional i was like okay maybe she's gonna
Starting point is 02:15:06 see this and respond even though you hadn't responded and then luckily you did so thank you did i not respond the first time um you talked about me on the podcast the very next day and i was like oh my gosh oh my god see i'm like the worst at emails that's so crazy because i get i literally probably get like 100 emails a week and i do try to read most of them um and they're all sweet they're all nice but yours was just so detailed with like phone numbers and references. And just also I was like, I love this person so much. But this is remarkable. So you went to all the places and just said, I'll take one of everything.
Starting point is 02:15:32 Yes. Did they have them when you went? No. Sold out? See, they're sold out everywhere. Yeah. They only had the Glinda Cup at the AMC I went to on Thursday. But the buckets were already gone at the AMC.
Starting point is 02:15:42 I wanted to get into these buckets. Oh, my gosh. Okay, so I didn't even know they had pillows. So this is part of the... We have two bags of stuff. Oh, my gosh. Whole haul. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 02:15:52 Wow. Okay, yeah, this just becomes a haul. Oh, my God. The cups in there. Okay, so this was at a movie theater? Yeah, that was at Regal AMC Emerald City Plush. Oh, my God. I love that they have these at a movie theater.
Starting point is 02:16:04 Like, hello? Yeah. There's so much. We got to get through this. Oh, my gosh. Okay, the Alphabuck Cup. emerald city plush oh my god i love that they have these in a movie theater like hello yeah there's so much we gotta get through this oh my gosh okay the alpha book hub which one is that so many tumblers i think that one's from regal probably oh my god regal they did send me an email too after the podcast like oh we'd love to send you stuff so i'm probably gonna get like double regal oh my gosh i'll take it i'll take all of it oh is this the wow that's so pretty on the top oh my god this is gorge and you don't want to keep any of this
Starting point is 02:16:28 uh no are you sure you can maybe I did say in the email I was like whatever you want
Starting point is 02:16:35 to part with I'll buy and you're like you can have all of it are you sure you have like such a display like when you walk in
Starting point is 02:16:41 you have so many things you should keep some I feel like you're low key because you said you love Wicked and you want to see it again we'll keep you keep some for sure. Oh my God. This is, okay, this is cute.
Starting point is 02:16:49 That's actually cute. A little Glinda. Oh, it's her trunk. So I was like, what is this? Oh my God. Oh, that's cute. Oh my God. Wait, I love that you have this cup too.
Starting point is 02:16:56 Is this like a reusable one? I love it. Oh, the Sprite cup. Wait, what is this? Why do you say it like that? Because there's a special Sprite drink at the, I think, I saw it at AMC. I don't know if it's at the other theaters too, but there's special Alphaba and Glinda like mixes that they have.
Starting point is 02:17:13 Did you try it? That's from Signmark. No, I haven't. It looks cool. Green and Sprite. Good branding. Yeah. The Alphaba Sprite would be amazing.
Starting point is 02:17:20 Did you take any of this with you to the movie when you went to go see it? No, I just went and like saw it. You like i don't need all that this is oh my god this is like that was pretty that was everything that looks like disneyland oh my god yeah this one's so so cool oh my god i love this one too wait there's so many cups in here oh my gosh okay oh this is like pink and green this is like giving star wand. Yeah. Oh my gosh. I'm sorry to the audio listeners. I was thinking that too. Okay, let me describe some of them.
Starting point is 02:17:51 It's like green texture. It's like, what would this be? Like bark maybe? Yeah, it's like the broom. It's like the broom texture, the black broom. And then it has a green broom on it. A straw? What? Top, top. There's like a hole. A little hole. a green broom on it a straw what top top
Starting point is 02:18:06 there's like a hole a little hole oh I think Elphaba goes on top she'll probably fall down yeah Ben knew what's up he's like okay
Starting point is 02:18:13 there it is that's cute that's so cute we have to take these we're gonna be doing our movie mukbang this weekend what is this
Starting point is 02:18:21 a glow in the dark popcorn bucket oh my wow where how do you do this at the bottom whoa whoa What is this? A glow-in-the-dark popcorn bucket. Oh my god. Where? At the bottom. Whoa.
Starting point is 02:18:30 Yeah. I was at home like, what's lighting up? And it was like all dark and it was a bucket. Oh my god, it's by itself? Yeah, oh my gosh. Are you a Wicked fan? Oh my god, I love musical theater. For our audio listeners, Trisha just dropped the Emerald City light up bucket.
Starting point is 02:18:46 Break everything. Oh my gosh. I'm so, I'm awful. You love musical theater? Yeah. Do you go to the Secret Storm a lot?
Starting point is 02:18:58 I did the last show I saw was Hamilton. Oh, okay. We just saw Beetlejuice down there. I love that theater. I want to perform at the theater,
Starting point is 02:19:04 but it's a 3,000 capacity. I don't know if I can like sell that out, but I would love to. Oh, you can. I'm Beetlejuice down there. I love that theater. Really? I want to perform at the theater, but it's a 3,000 capacity. I don't know if I can sell that out, but I would love to. Oh, you can. I'm going to your Thousand Oaks show. I'm so excited. Oh my gosh! Wait, I thought you were coming to San Diego, but Thousand Oaks? I am going to get tickets for San Diego and then Thousand Oaks. I want to go to the beginning and then the end of the run. Oh my god! Well, we want to come to San Diego and get you tickets.
Starting point is 02:19:20 They're available. So I can get you tickets. That's so cool. I know you said that in your video and I was like, oh my god, that's so cool i like that's so funny i just would never think someone cool like you would watch me so oh my god you literally raised all of gen z all your iconic moments i remember like even when you went on they went on sale that wednesday morning at 10 a.m it was so like last minute and i was on the way to work and i had never like pulled over off the freeway as fast as i can like right at like 10 I was there and I was in the battle trying to get tickets. And then I got like VIP, like front row, like runaway.
Starting point is 02:19:51 No way. And then they sold out that day. Oh my God. Thank you. That's so nice. That was crazy when you said that. I was like, okay, wait, this person actually like, I appreciate you so much. That's so nice.
Starting point is 02:20:00 Oh my God. Wait, how old are you? Me? Yeah. I just turned 23. Oh my God. You're so young. That's crazy
Starting point is 02:20:05 to be 23 oh my god i love being cool with the young kids that's so fun oh my god what do you what do you aspire to you're an actor okay so that's and then now are you acting or what do you do for yeah so i've been in a lot of commercials or short films or like features and i've this year alone i've got better reps agents and managers so I've been auditioning for a lot of network televisions or really cool tv shows or movies I just haven't booked anything yet because it's more competitive but it's just really cool to get to read for them or to get called back you know that's amazing I've never been called to read for anything like how do you get those auditions I was like how do you do that oh my gosh it's so hard
Starting point is 02:20:43 because like literally my agents like those only send me out to like sag commercials or like smaller indie projects but i feel like myself i'm like personally emailing all the casting directors or finding their assistants or mailing the casting office a postcard of my headshots and then the minute i do that like a month later the same casting director will call me in to read for like a wednesday or like euphoria or something like that so it's like oh it actually works so self marketing and like pushing yourself always works even with you like I emailed you three times and now I'm here so no and yours are so good like they're so captivating I don't know what it is I don't know what your secret is but it is the first one I was just like oh my god this is so impressive and then when I got this I was just like oh my god we have to invite him on like this
Starting point is 02:21:22 is the craziest thing I've ever seen so that's so smart I used to do that too when I was a kid but no one ever responded to me I used to write to like Quentin Tarantino and send him my script and all this stuff like that
Starting point is 02:21:29 and like no one ever responded so it sounds like you're getting like responses you just have a very cool look too like you sent a video with this one like you just look you have a cool look
Starting point is 02:21:36 you're very professional like you write down all these like you just you have the winning combination the presentation presentation it just sounds professional I was just like
Starting point is 02:21:44 okay this is like not some like weirdo it's okay if you're a weirdo but obviously to come to my house i was just like okay this is like not some like weirdo it's okay if you're a weirdo but obviously to come to my house i was just like oh you know what he's fine he has references i think if you put phone numbers down you look legit you know what i mean but you look so cool all right let's get to these buckets i'm so excited i'm just drowning in wicked merch over here thank you by the way this is the coolest thing ever in the whole display oh what is this this is cute it's a little Wicked gift bag. It's like Malibu Barbie size.
Starting point is 02:22:07 Oh, so cute. That's actually so cute. This was in a theater? That's so funny. Yeah, Regal. Shout out, Regal. All right, let's see. And then these are like little straws.
Starting point is 02:22:16 Oh. Wow. Wow. It's a wand. Oh, my God. This is so cool. This is so funny. They sell these at the movies.
Starting point is 02:22:22 Yeah. Okay, I love. A Wizards of Waverly Place era. Yeah, okay. Okay, Gen Z. I was like,
Starting point is 02:22:27 wait, I was thinking more like Harry Potter, but I love that too. Ooh. That one's cute, the pink one. They're nice. They're like hand-painted.
Starting point is 02:22:33 Oh, this is popular. It's fun. That's really cute. I love that this was part of the merch. All right, let's get, oh,
Starting point is 02:22:38 and there's pins. My gosh, do you really think you found every single piece? Do you think there was anything you missed? This must be, right? Right? That's what I feel. I made sure to grab every single one there was. Wow, and think you found every single piece? Do you think there was anything you missed? This must be, right? Right? That's what I feel.
Starting point is 02:22:45 I made sure to grab every single one there was. Wow. And how long did this take you? Luckily, in OC, it's not as populated as LA. So it's more like suburb vibe. So it was pretty fast. Really? Like an hour or two.
Starting point is 02:22:59 Oh my gosh. I feel like in LA, everything sells out faster because it's LA too. And going around to all the ones, trying to find it, you're so exhausted by the time. Yeah. Because the Barbie ones, we only found one. And we went to Oxnard, we went to Ventura, we went everywhere. We're going to find it. These are cute too. These little buttons. Okay, these buckets. Oh my gosh, this little card. Oh my gosh. Should I wait
Starting point is 02:23:16 to open it or should I open it now? You can. I wrote you an Oscar, a letter. Oh, it was so sweet. That's so sweet. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Okay, okay. Oh my gosh, this is so exciting. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Okay, okay. Oh my gosh, this is so exciting. Let's go. Oh.
Starting point is 02:23:29 Thanks, Ben. That's so sweet. Wow, already I'm just like, wait, this is the coolest thing. It's a little kitchen. It's My Chemical Romance. Oh my god, we were just talking about them. This is so cute. We talked about them at the top of the show.
Starting point is 02:23:40 So cute, a little Paramore CD. That's so cute. This is adorable. Oh my god, they're like little tiny cds can you play these i don't understand do you see it because i think it's just a keychain but yeah oh my god that's so cute this is adorable oh my god thank you oh my god this is literally so nice this is so sweet wow love your sad boy era thank you oscar did you ever have an emo fizz i never a light a light emo face who were

Wait, I just noticed. What is it? Wait, what's on yours? Oh my God. 1992 Legends. It's me, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Bridget Menler, and Demi Lovato. Oh my God.
Starting point is 02:24:34 All the Disney icons were born. 1992 was a good year. You're the center of all of them. Oh my God. You were born at the right time. Best year ever. Oh my God. This is going to make me cry. This is like literally the. Best year ever. Oh my God. This is gonna make me cry.
Starting point is 02:24:45 This is like literally the sweetest nose ever. Ben, you are the sweetest person in the whole entire world. Oh gosh, she's so nice. I know. We're both really sensitive today too. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 02:24:54 Today too, Ben is crying. I know. I'm just like, I don't know what it is after seeing you get... Oh my God. You're Peruvian too.
Starting point is 02:25:01 Oh my gosh. Wait, you're Peruvian? Mm-hmm. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I was thinking youian? Mm-hmm. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I was thinking you have to ever make a movie about your life or Oscar's life. I want to play Oscar.
Starting point is 02:25:09 Oh my God, yes. I love it. I feel like I should look like him. Yes, you have to. With the glasses, I would love to be like his mother or something. I'm so iconic.
Starting point is 02:25:18 That needs to happen for sure. Oh my gosh. Are you 100% Peruvian? Mm-hmm. Wow. My parents like crossed the border and everything. Wait, that's so cool. My dad too. Really? Yeah. Oh my gosh. Are you 100% Peruvian? Mm-hmm. Wow. My parents like crossed the border and everything. Wee, that's so cool. My dad too.
Starting point is 02:25:26 Really? Yeah. Oh my God. They speak Spanish? Yeah, I grew up speaking Spanish at home and I learned English at school. Wow. Oh my God, that's so cool. Oh, you did tell me you were bilingual, I think in one of your emails.
Starting point is 02:25:40 Oh my God, this is so cool. Ben, you are the sweetest in the whole entire world. Thank you so much. Thank you. That is so cute. Ben, you are the sweetest in the whole entire world. Thank you so much. Thank you for being my comfort show. I was just thinking about like, everyone who went to the Sabrina Carpenter concert, they had a Spotify pit section for all the top 1% listeners got to see her early.
Starting point is 02:25:56 And I was like, if YouTube did that for Trisha, I'd be the top 1% listener for sure. You are the top 1%. You're here. You're like, I know, sad boy. I think you're the only one who records like like that so thank you so much this was the nicest um this is nice i know you're really good with words i know oh my god i'm like so shit right now that was like literally the nicest letter i think you

Starting point is 02:26:46 Oh, my God. These are so cool. The pink and the green, that's everything. That is neat. This is what? This is, oh, AMC. I like how you have the little receipts in there, too. So I can see.
Starting point is 02:26:55 It's so organized. This is the one I wanted. The Glinda.com. Oh, my gosh. Ooh, I love it. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Alphaba.
Starting point is 02:27:04 And this is another Alphaba. Wow. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Alphabet. And this is another Alphabet. Wow. Oh, my God. There's so many. There's so few. I know. We just have so many buckets. It'll be here for months to come as our set design.
Starting point is 02:27:15 It's hot, too. Is that a cup? It's like the Sprite drink went in that, I think. Whoa. That is so cool to drink it. Oh, my God. Out of the hat. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:27:22 There's so many. Okay, these are my favorite here. Let's see. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my God. I'm breaking everything. Sorry, everybody. There's so many. Okay. These are my favorite here. Let's see. Oh my gosh. Oh my God. I'm drinking everything. Sorry, everybody. Okay.
Starting point is 02:27:27 It's fine. I'm going to keep spilling things. This is so cool. Where's this one from? That one's cute. That's from Regal. You can get so much popcorn. And I like that there's a lid on there so you can take it to go.
Starting point is 02:27:37 That's true. That's smart. Oh no. Sorry. For our audio listeners, just drop the popcorn like this. I'm so sorry. Oh my gosh. It's fine. They're sorry. It's fine.
Starting point is 02:27:46 They're durable. It's okay. And then the little green alpha. Oh, my God. This was amazing. This was so amazing. Oh, my God. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 02:27:57 Yeah, you can have a whole collection. I know you have like a whole collection of bedazzled Starbucks cups, right? Yes. Yes. Oh, my gosh. Yes. So we'll put this next to it. We have like a glass case. We do have a little section for all the wicked stuff because i've been collecting so much
Starting point is 02:28:08 thank you so much because they don't have them at any of our um i looked and they don't have them at any of our movie theaters so i really appreciate it thank you so much this was so nice oh yeah and what is this this is another surprise yeah i saw on tiktok they had the viral wicked pink and green donuts. Wait, what? I haven't seen these. I haven't seen this either. Let's show the camera. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:28:30 This is so... Oh, wait. I don't want to drop them. You know me. I'm going to drop them for sure. Look at Ben being sturdy, too. Wow. He's nice and steady with it.
Starting point is 02:28:38 Wow. Oh, my God. This is the sweetest bed. Whoa. Oh, my God. What? They're so heavy. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:28:44 Did you try one already? I did not. They look so pretty, though. Oh, my God. We should try oneest bet. Oh my god. What? They're so heavy. Yeah. Did you try one already? I did not. They look so pretty though. Oh my god, we should try one. Yeah. What's in them? It's so heavy. I'm not sure, but.
Starting point is 02:28:51 Because they're like so. Here, I'll try a pink one. Oh. Yeah, it looks like they're jelly filled. Oh my god. That's the most jelly. Here, you want to try one? I'll hold it for you.
Starting point is 02:29:00 I'll try a green one. Yeah. Oh my god. So it was jelly? Mm-hmm. Oh my god. Oh my god. There's so much you. I'll try a green one. Yeah. Oh my God. So it was jelly? Mm-hmm, oh my God. Oh my gosh, it's so messy. There's so much jelly, I know.
Starting point is 02:29:11 It's so much jelly. Here, sorry, don't look. They're really yummy, but super messy to me. They're good though. Those are good. They look cute, how did you like it? It was good, it tastes like a toaster strudel, kind of, but like elevated.
Starting point is 02:29:21 Yeah. Oh my gosh. I love Voodoo Donuts. Did you get them at city walk yes oh my god wow you really made all the rounds man i know my god it's it's so impressive it really is like i and because you have so much other stuff you're doing like you're auditioning for like euphoria and you're like i'll also go pick up donuts for you like it's so impressive like it's just your ambition's insane i know you're gonna be like i just know you'll be a
Starting point is 02:29:42 big star so i was like okay you have to come on because you're like i'll just drop it off i'm like no you need to come on the podcast because i have a feeling i was so're gonna be like i just know you'll be a big star so i was like okay you have to come on because you're like i'll just drop it off i'm like no you need to come on the podcast because i have a feeling i was so nervous i felt like i was gonna like throw up when you said that i was like shaking and like it was so hard to sleep but it was just like anxiety that came out of like excitement and like love for you guys i'm so glad i i felt the same way i would could have been more excited and i know i was so excited for this today because the popcorn buckets and you and everything and i'm just like so excited to see everything that you're going to do. Is there anything like exciting that you can talk about
Starting point is 02:30:08 now that you're doing or coming up or auditioning for or looking forward to? Chimney cakes, Christmas, Disneyland? I would say I am looking forward to seeing Trish Miss live December 5th and December 15th. Yeah, specifically December 5th, San Diego.
Starting point is 02:30:24 There's tickets available ben will be there if you want to meet ben that would be wild yeah come say hi to ben i'll be like what is down there san diego we could be like not sea world not i know damn that's so funny i was like do we go to sea world i don't think we can yeah what's a san diego like wild animal park oh wild animal park Are those okay to go to? Those are okay Are you sure? I'm pretty sure
Starting point is 02:30:46 There's a Safari Park Which is like different than the zoo I think right? It's open Oh so it's more free Yeah there's no cages People are gonna come in and be like No not that either What about food in San Diego?
Starting point is 02:30:57 What's the food options? Anything they're known for? I don't know if there's anything I can't Oh in San Diego there's a really cute Mini pig farm You should go to it Really? Yeah and there's anything I can't. Oh, in San Diego, there's a really cute mini pig farm. You should go to it. Really? Yeah, and there's like little baby pigs and they sleep together with like the sheep and
Starting point is 02:31:09 everything. It's adorable. And you can go catch them or what? No, it's just like a little pen and you can go see them. And they're like miniature and they stay small forever. Oh, that's cute. A lot of people will go and like take Instagram pics there, I guess. Let's do it.
Starting point is 02:31:21 Bring Malibu with a little pig. She does love a petting zoo. How do you know so much about everything at 23 like why where do you get it from like what is it um being a chronically online gay on tiktok i guess oh you are are you on tiktok oh well i'm like always scrolling i don't post sometimes but then i'll like get insecure so i'll delete it and then i'll repost it you need to be a little like style boy on tiktok and like literally just look cute in outfits that's all you have to do because your outfit is so good and i think that you would be like you would easily be a good influencer oh for sure we want your brother to make us outfits younger uh he's older than me he lives in new york now but he's always making
Starting point is 02:32:05 like outfits i think in the video i sent you my whole wall it's just full of jackets yes he's made oh my god that was so cool where were you in that video you're like in the my room i love it and you did it unlisted too so i was like oh he's not even looking for clout he's like here's an unlisted video to prove everything it was so cool and you were so your personality came through with that because your email was impressive but then seeing you on video that's what you should do when you reach out to casting do you like send a video to be like this is me uh no i should do that usually i'll do like a handwritten letter and i'll have my headshots on the back of it and i'll like mail it because you know they say like handwriting sticks with memory more sometimes wow or the color blue or
Starting point is 02:32:36 red so i'll try to do that i guess you are so smart so you're just like online researching all these like tips and stuff like that and how to do it i guess so i watch a lot of youtube videos wow oh my god you just like are literally the smartest person i've ever met in the whole world like you're so smart and you're so ambitious and i wish i could be you and i wish you live closer because we would love to have you on and be just more than a food runner a little actor maybe if we do like an acting series tavern series oh my god yeah you would be perfect i'm casting you as soon as i get a netflix show we talk about the holiday, hot frosty, you know, you can do something like that.
Starting point is 02:33:06 Yeah, you could be my son in like a movie. If me and Oscar had a baby, it could be you. Honestly, too. That's a good movie. It's like you want a baby and then I want a baby and then we adopt Ben. I know. Right? And it's like, okay, that'd be cool.
Starting point is 02:33:19 Or he's just our baby and he was born 23. 23 and we. That's the name. Yeah. I love it everything is oh yeah oh my god i'm so excited oh my i'm so excited for you um anything you want to promote your tiktok or anything or you're just um if you want to follow me it's just ben verde you're more than oh just ben verde it's like just ben just trish um and you're gonna go see wicked again totally how many times do you guys want to see it at least two more times at least have you seen any other movie this year twice honestly no challengers three times that one was a good one you saw challengers love that one did you see the challengers look like
Starting point is 02:34:01 contest we just talked about that in hot topics no you didn't see they flopped they kind of flopped but there's a Hasan one coming up in Chicago December 8th in between my shows you can stop there
Starting point is 02:34:12 there's gotta be a Trisha one Trish and Oscar that would be everything I would love only drag queens to compete for mine
Starting point is 02:34:20 that would be so fun but that would be everything people would probably look better than me and I'd get like jealous and insecure. I'd probably be like, oh. No, not that. But I like it. Maybe organize it. I want to organize gays eating garlic bread
Starting point is 02:34:31 in a park around here too. So maybe we can work on that together because you're very organized. I'd be so down. Do you know how to get permits? Yeah, we just hit up the Parks and Rec Center in LA. Really? Just be like, how did we get this? I love that you would know to do that. You're like, Parks and Rec Center? Got it. It's like the TV show? That's what I thought you would know to do that. You're like, Harvard Rec Center? Got it.
Starting point is 02:34:45 It's like the TV show? That's what I thought of when you first said that. What's your dream role? Ideal role? I would say, okay, as a kid, I loved sitcom. Like, I just love watching Disney Channel. Like, I would see That's So Ravenous. Like, I want to be on that show.
Starting point is 02:34:58 That's your vibe for sure. Like a Disney Channel vibe. And I guess now as I'm older, I would say it'd be something darker or like on heavier topics. Because I feel like when you see shows like that, like Euphoria or Shameless or stuff like that, it's like really like the raw vulnerable side. And everyone in the media or social media tries to portray something perfect. And people are always comparing themselves to this idea of perfect, which isn't real. So then I feel like that just helps people feel like they can relate to it.
Starting point is 02:35:24 Yeah. Feel seen. Yeah. Be like, okay, I just helps people feel like they can relate to it. Yeah. Or feel seen. Yeah. Be like, okay, I'm not the only one that also goes with this. Your letter was very sweet. You talked a lot about mental health and stuff in there. And that's why I thought like when people say that kind of stuff, like you said, in acting or just, you know, being on YouTube or whatever, it's cool because you think I
Starting point is 02:35:37 always think I'm alone with, you know, we talked about borderline and stuff in there and it's like, you think you're alone. And then when you broadcast something that can be really vulnerable, there's so many more people that like actually encourage like you to keep talking about it because so many other people are going through it too exactly no like literally like um i had a lot of borderline traits and you were talking about dbt yeah and i went to go find a psychologist because i've been in and out of therapy the last 14 years and that time i wasn't in therapy and the therapist um i went in mind saying that hey i want to do dbt and they had me do cbt and
Starting point is 02:36:06 dbt and after that it was the only thing that worked for me and same thing with brooke schofield um she talked about wellbutrin which is an antidepressant and i've been on so many antidepressants some that made me like super moody or like or super like even more depressed and that was the only one that actually worked for me and I learned about it from just like Brooke talking about Uncanceled and then DBT I learned from you talking about it online so it's like and you just saying that now I think is so things I've always talked about that with my antidepressant journey too is that it wouldn't make me have thoughts which is like so wild like you don't think like antidepressants make you more
Starting point is 02:36:41 depressed but mine did it made me feel so like crazy and it's like such a weird thing because no one like really talks about that so that's why it seems like i'm anti-antidepressants but mine just didn't work and i feel like a lot of people go through that but they think it's just like them spiraling more but sometimes it can be your medication and to like you know ask your doctor of course to like see where you should go so it's good you found something that works for you and um yeah i think the more people talk about it there's something out there that'll like work for that person because everything is so different and so specific. But it's amazing everything you've been through and you're so grounded and wonderful and humble and all that stuff like that.
Starting point is 02:37:11 And if you become a big star one day, please come back. Even if not, just come back. Just come back for any episode and just talk. But if you're a big star, come back. Definitely if you're a big star. The next Hunger Games, he plays – who's the one they're casting? Oh my god, Haymitch. Haymitch, young Haymitch right here.
Starting point is 02:37:24 I could see you in the next Hunger Games movie. Just go a little more blonde. I see you in a big franchise like that. Oh. You know, when they reboot Harry Potter 2.
Starting point is 02:37:31 Oh, for sure. I mean, not to toot my own horn, but I did recognize Rachel Zegler when she was like 14 years old
Starting point is 02:37:37 before she was in West Side Story and it was years later. She must be able to recognize her. But clock those tweets in 2015. I was tweeting for her.
Starting point is 02:37:44 I was like, this girl's gonna to be a star and she's literally the biggest star ever. So I have a feeling you'll get that same Trisha touch. Thank you. All right, you guys. Check out BetEver. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. This letter,
