Starting point is 00:00:00 And he's like, you called me ugly one time on the podcast. I was like, did I? Like, you're doing an Italian tour? I want to do an Italian tour. That's so cool. Do Italians even listen to music? Like, that's so weird. Everybody was just like, oh my God, poor Bri, poor Bri.
Starting point is 00:00:12 But then to do the exact same thing that Zach Bryan did to her to Grace is wild to watch. Someone asked me at my live show yesterday this question. I answered it. It got clipped. I was like, let me just talk about it. Live from Los Angeles, it's tuesday morning oh my god that gave me such a flashback because i remember you try to make moses do it one time and you were mad at him because he didn't do it the right way this was his idea he's like i have an idea for a tuesday i was like
Starting point is 00:01:04 okay and he went for it. I was like, okay. And he went for it. The intro was great. That was wonderful. That was all Moses today. So good. It was great. Thank you for that introduction.

We're going to have a pajama party and we're going to recap 2024 and do our 2025 Pop Culture predictions. And finally, the Bangin' Buns boxes are
Starting point is 00:03:20 available today. They weren't able to make it to my show last night. Permits. Nobody really knew. We kind of attempted available today. They weren't able to make it to my show last night. Permits. Nobody really knew. We kind of attempted and they're like, no. And they were actually going to give them out for free too. So it was like a whole mess, but they're like, no, they can't be here. And I was like, okay, that was kind of my bad. I kind of fumbled that.
Starting point is 00:03:36 But if you are still in LA today, the hot pink Bangin' Buns by Trish Boxes are available. If you go into the North Hollywood store, they're going to be making a special delivery here for us today. Really? Oh my God, it's Christmas. Merry Christmas.
Starting point is 00:03:49 No, I was really excited because I was literally like, I'm so starving. I'm so hungry. And then I was like, oh my God, wait, those boxes. They made so many boxes. They had 2,000 boxes.
Starting point is 00:04:00 So if you can get there today before the 2,000 orders run out, it's a cute little box. It comes with chicken fingers and fries and it's really, really cute. And it's a little pink box. So if you guys get it, tag me 2,000 orders run out, it's a cute little box. It comes with chicken fingers and fries, and it's really, really cute. And it's a little pink box. So if you guys get it, tag me in it. Tag Bangin' Buns. We love Bangin' Buns.
Starting point is 00:04:11 So sorry, Bangin' Buns, for making all those boxes and then not happening. People were so sad. Everyone was looking for the Bangin' Buns truck. It was a hot topic. I got there early. I got there at like 5.30, 5.45 for the Bangin' Buns. And I texted Jimmy in the morning. I was like, Jimmy, what time are you getting there?
Starting point is 00:04:24 He's like, probably like 6.30. I was like, Jimmy, are you getting there he's like probably like 630 and I was like Jimmy that banging buns line is gonna be long I think you gotta get there early and I was like come hungry no no did you guys not eat anything we had the pizza after the dominoes was there enough pizza I was like we need more we were having like 4 boxes
Starting point is 00:04:40 the first show we need like at least 12 boxes but yeah we went there we had the pizza after, but it was so funny because I got there. I was like, where's the Bang & Buns truck? My mom too.
Starting point is 00:04:49 My mom was so disappointed. Everyone was disappointed. I was disappointed and Bang & Buns was disappointed. It was, we tried, we tried. I didn't know. People even like called Bang & Buns and were like,
Starting point is 00:04:57 hey, where are you guys? Are you at Trishmas? Oh, my heart broke because I built it up so much. My bad on that one, honestly. No, I mean, it's not anyone's fault. The theater belongs to, I mean, it's not anyone's fault. The theater belongs to the city.
Starting point is 00:05:09 So it's the city's fault. The city's. So there wasn't even one street around the theater. Or even the parking lot is city property. So they could not be anywhere. Even if they give it for free, they couldn't be anywhere. That's so sad. Well, go support. Go to Bang & Buns.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Ask for the Trisha Paytas box. They said they'd give it to y'all today. They're really cool. And it was very sad. Well, go support. Go to Bang & Buns. Ask for the Trisha Paytas box. They said they'd give it to y'all today. They're really cool. And it was very sad. But everyone was eating. I saw people go to like our favorite spots. They were at Salsa and Beer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Maria's Italian Kitchen. BJ's. I saw BJ's. They were going to all the spots. So I'm glad that happened. It made me very happy. It was very fun. We had cosplay.
Starting point is 00:05:41 We had all that. Trishmas Live is officially done. The last time we did Hot Topics was before Trishmas. That's crazy. Crazy. I was very fun. We had cosplay. We had all that. Trishmas Live is officially done. The last time we did Hot Topics was before Trishmas. That's crazy. Crazy. I was just walking to San Diego.
Starting point is 00:05:49 We were supposed to have one in between. Oh my God, that's so true. I forgot about that. I feel like we're so different now. We're different people. No, actually, I remember texting you
Starting point is 00:05:57 after San Diego won and I was going to New York and I was just so emotional. I'm like, love you so much. This is the best. I was like, so? And I was like,
Starting point is 00:06:04 I didn't sleep at all. And then I was seeing all these TikToks. And it's just like seeing people like live is just so, it's such a different experience. Because you know people are watching. But until you see them in person, especially like the people who watch the show, like they're just so enthusiastic. And it's actually like insane. And everywhere we go, and I'm not just saying this,
Starting point is 00:06:19 every venue literally was just like, oh my god, I've never seen like a crowd reaction like this. Like people go absolutely feral. And like, again, my show I've never seen like a crowd reaction like this. Like people go absolutely feral. And like, again, my show is very, very niche. It's very niche. It's very camp. If you like, we had some of like our friends that like don't know YouTube or whatever. And they're like, oh, everyone was going crazy.
Starting point is 00:06:34 I'm not really sure why. But we just kind of scream. Like it's very odd. If you don't know the lore, if you don't know anything about me, it's a very odd show. But the people who get it, get it. And it becomes like this weird like experience and it was it was very fun and San Diego was amazing and then New York was amazing and then last night we were in Thousand Oaks so thanks for showing up to Thousand Oaks I was honored I mean the other
Starting point is 00:06:53 um shows I literally was watching via people's like TikTok live streams as if it was Aeros tour I was like clocked in via like the TikTok live I was in the chat and it's so funny too because I don't like I don't have my own TikTok so it's like my work one is like Entertainment Tonight and everyone's like, oh, Oscar's here. I was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Oh, are you commenting? Wait, were they not there last night? No, the two girls were there. Oh, they didn't come back stage or anything? No, they weren't the list. I didn't,
Starting point is 00:07:16 they were like, oh, we have these stickers and I was like, I don't know, girl. Yeah, the stickers got them back there. Wait, oh, I was so excited. I was like, okay,
Starting point is 00:07:23 press tickets to Entertainment Tonight. I'm so sad. Otherwise they would have, I'm sure. I was like, okay, press tickets to entertainment tonight. I'm so sad. Otherwise, they would have, I'm sure. I thought they were, like, coming with a microphone, like, interviewing or something. Oh, they were recording from their seats. Okay. Good enough. I was so excited.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I was like, oh, my God, press tickets. But it was fun. It was good. It was a good time. And you were out there. You were out in the trenches, too. You were just, like, saying hi to everyone outside, you were out there. You were out in the trenches too. You were just like saying hi to everyone outside, which can be overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Like I love a meet and greet that's like organized everything, but like outside can be very overwhelming. It was funny. I mean, like literally we got there and then I saw Oscar Crave right away. And that was funny. Did you know who it was right away? No, they were like, oh, hey, I'm Oscar Crave. And I was like, oh, it's good to see you.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Did they wear a shirt that said it? No, they just introduced themselves. They were dressed in like Christmas, like, festive, like pink and green vibes. But it could have been anybody. Like anybody could have been like, I'm Oscar Crave. No, but then I saw the media afterwards and they were posting live, like I saw on Twitter. Trish Crave? You're so skeptical of the, you're skeptical of the Craves.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Well, because my Trish Crave wore a Trish Crave shirt. So I was like, well, I know who you are. You're Trish Crave. Shout out Aiden. That's his name was like, well, I know who you are. You're Trish Crave. Shout out Aiden. That's his name, right? Aiden? Yeah. Aiden.
Starting point is 00:08:28 So cute. So cute. I would kind of gag sometimes when I meet people. He was sitting with Ben, Ben Verde, who was here. And I was like, I thought he was just with him. And then he's like, I'm Trish Crave. And I was like, wait, you're literally so handsome and so cute. Like, it was adorable.
Starting point is 00:08:40 But when we were talking about the movie of us, of just Trish, I was like, okay, so Ben's playing Oscar, Peruvian. And then Aiden could play Moses. He had the same, like, young Moses just Trish, I was like, okay, so Ben's playing Oscar, Peruvian. And then Aiden could play Moses. He had the same, like, young Moses vibes. And then I'm like, who will play me? They're like, Pamela Anderson. I was like, yeah, absolutely. Last show, girl, and now this.
Starting point is 00:08:53 I'm still on the Sabrina Carpenter. I would love. I would take Sabrina Carpenter. I would take anyone, honestly. But they were so cute. Everyone was so cute. Everyone's very attractive. Everyone is just so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:09:05 And Matthew Stevens was there. It was like a whole thing. People I made cameos for were there. This girl, this girl who I made a cameo for, she's very young. And she had breast cancer. She had a mastectomy, everything. She was there. She was dressed as me as Troy Bolton.
Starting point is 00:09:19 And she was just so sweet. And she's like, I'm cancer free now. And I remember the cameo because I followed her. And it was just like so sweet. And all her friend group was there. I don't know. Everyone was just very, someone had a like, I'm cancer free now. And I remember the cameo because I followed her. And it was just so sweet. And all her friend group was there. I don't know. Everyone was just very someone had a Jess Trish microphone, a huge Did you see her? Yes. I have a photo with her. Her
Starting point is 00:09:33 microphone was everything. It was everything. How did you get it so big? It was so much fun. Everybody was there obviously. Oscar and Jimmy. Jimmy texted Moses like we're getting bombarded. I was like, oh my god I felt so bad. Oh, did you? Because I gave you my tour manager saying to like come backstage and stuff like that because it is fun. My mom loves going out there.
Starting point is 00:09:50 I love going out there too, but it can be like absolute chaos because you just don't know which way to go. You know what I mean? You're just like, how do I get where I'm going? I know. It was funny. I was like, I don't know. All of a sudden it all kind of like happened really fast.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Like there was like a bunch of people wanting photos and stuff. I don't know. I was loving it. But then it was getting late and then Jimmy's like, okay, we kind of have to go. And I there was, like, a bunch of people wanting photos and stuff. I don't know. I was loving it. But then it was getting late and then Jimmy's like, okay, we kind of have to go. And I was like, sorry, everyone.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Who got you? Who ended up getting you? Well, Jimmy was texting Moses. Oh, no, actually, I saw Jeremy. And then we went to go at the box office to get our tickets.
Starting point is 00:10:19 And then Jeremy was there at the same time. And he was like, I'll take you guys. So, yeah, Jeremy was like, yeah, Jeremy escorted us. I wondered how it was working because I was like, okay, Moses was there at the same time. Got it. And he was like, I'll take you guys. So, yeah. Oh, love it. Jeremy was like – Okay. Jeremy out and about. Yeah. Jeremy escorted us. I wondered how it was working because I was like, okay. Moses was there and then also like Ward was there.
Starting point is 00:10:30 I was like, how is it going to work to get you guys there? We were there since like noon, glamming. Like every time I get to a venue, it's like literally I'm there at noon and then I usually leave at like literally midnight because – especially yesterday at the LA show, there were so many people after. So it was a whole – it was a whole thing, but it was good. I love it. I wish I could do 20 more Trishma shows. They were so much people after so it was a whole it was a whole thing but it was good i love it i wish i could do 20 more trish mcshows they were so much fun i miss it well like i understand
Starting point is 00:10:49 now why everyone's like on tour i get why taylor was out for two years i get why canceled is doing five shows a day for like six months i get it the vibe is just so fun it's like it really is because i think it's like people who literally just like you. And being in a room of people who like you is a great and rare feeling. It's so fun. It's so rare. And then the other thing is it's cool. I don't know if everyone's like – I don't know if Taylor Swift people are like this or what.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Maybe they are. But my people specifically, a lot of times people will come like alone. Like they'll have husbands or partners or whatever like that. And they'll be like, no, they just dropped me off because like they know I love this. And they'll just all like – my meet and greets before the show, I mean, it's literally so many solo people and they just come and meet up with each other. And it's so much fun. So I saw these two girls on TikTok met up at Chili's.
Starting point is 00:11:32 They were fans that didn't know each other. And they came and met up at Chili's. And it was so cute. And then I met one at the meet and greet and I recognized her from her TikTok. And I don't know, it's fun. It's cool because it's like, yeah, for one moment, we talked about this when we go to shows, like when I go to Ben Platt and everyone's like, oh my God, Ben Platt's amazing.
Starting point is 00:11:46 You know what? It's just fun to be with people who also think like you. Like this is amazing. And again, it's niche. It's niche. Not everyone gets it. So many people don't get it for sure. But I mean the people who get it, get it.
Starting point is 00:11:55 And it's so much fun. And I'm so addicted to it. I was like, oh my God. Okay. When can I do more shows? Do it again. Yeah. I'm doing an Eros tour for sure.
Starting point is 00:12:02 I was like, where's my Eros tour? It's so much fun. Especially because there was Christmas songs too which is even more of a deep cut because like no one knows my Christmas music videos
Starting point is 00:12:09 they literally have less than a million views so it's very very niche but people were excited and it was wonderful Thousand Oaks was great every city was so great
Starting point is 00:12:18 it was so wonderful but I miss I miss the podcast I miss this room nice and cozy it's only been two weeks but we've lived a lot of life those two weeks. Let me tell you, especially, have lived a lot of life.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Live show, SNL. Live show, Broadway and action. Broadway, yeah. Live show. That's how it felt. It felt like nonstop. I don't think I've ever seen you out and about so much, literally ever. No, never.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Until five in the morning. In New York, partying until five in the morning. I was going to after party after after party. I was at every after party there was. It was actually wild. I met, um, I guess I can say, I don't know. He's like, don't talk about it too much on the podcast, but whatever. I met Kate Hudson at the after party for SNL. Oh my
Starting point is 00:12:56 God. Yes, I was kind of gagged. And he's like, you called me ugly one time on the podcast. I was like, did I? Did you really? No, he's like, said the people she was at with Malibu and there's like an ugly person behind. I'm like, I don't remember him saying that, but also like you're very handsome. So I did not think that. In fact, I feel like I defend him a lot.
Starting point is 00:13:10 And so we did talk a lot about Brittany actually in a good way. And he's like, she's good. So I was like, okay. I'm like, no, I'm parasocial, but I just want to make sure she's like good. And he's like, no, she's good. And I was like, okay, great. So I got to see him. There was like a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Who else did I see at the after party that I told you about? I don't know. It was cool. I never went to one before. I was like, you have to go to the SNL after party. Well, everyone from SNL cast and some of the older cast members. Oh, yeah, yeah. It was like 2 a.m. when SNL was over. And then I was like 5 a.m. I remember texting Oscar on the way. And I was like, I'm like, OK, not going to be able to make the podcast Sunday. But I didn't want to like jinx it because they cut so much and they kept, they warned me too.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Bowen's like, he's like, just so you know, cause I was like, should I get on a flight? Like, I don't know. It was like, so last minute. And he's like, well, just so you know, like there is a possibility it could get cut or whatever. And I was just like, okay, I'm just going to like chance it and take it or whatever. So I didn't want to tell anyone. And I told like literally nobody.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Cause I was like, what if it like doesn't happen? And it was so close. We were, we were the last sketch I think of the night. So we were so close to getting cut. They cut so many people. They cut two sketches within minutes before us. So how we got on there was crazy. But I was so nervous it was going to get cut, as my stuff normally does. So I was like- I was going to say, look along, Brian. Yeah. And they kept telling me, they kept saying, don't worry if it gets cut. You had the full SNL
Starting point is 00:14:22 experience. This is what happens. And I was like, okay i feel like they're like warning me or something so i thought it was like not happening until it happened and so i remember texting oscar on the plane i'm like okay that's like something really exciting but i can't i wanted to tell you so bad but i was like if it doesn't happen or it's like not i know it's beetlejuice premiere all over again no so i know every time i know every time i'm like we've gone through a lot of jinxes yes yes every time that's why you know what I just don't even talk about it until it happens and this redeemed the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere I think for sure it was cool and you know who was on it last night was Adam Sandler I know I saw that it was so close you know my DeLulu was like they're gonna ask me back
Starting point is 00:15:01 next week you know what I mean become a recurring like character um no everyone was really nice it was really cool and it was yeah Bowen we kind of manifested that with our cosplay I know crazy it's so funny and him Bowen calling me handsome in that episode I was gagged I was gagged I was like kicking my feet and it's funny he follows me too but the gag is I like hide my story my Instagram stories from him because I'm like I don't want Bowen to see me being corny. Wait, really? He only has to see me at my best. Wait, so what do you have? A story of close friends or something like that? I just hide
Starting point is 00:15:32 my story from him. Just him? Just him because I'm like, Bowen, you can't see what is really going on over here. You can only see the feed because I need you to see the best, the face tune, the best photos. That's all you can get. He loved our cosplay. I mean, it was, I think that was the power of a cosplay.
Starting point is 00:15:49 Oh. Cannot go like unnoticed. Absolutely. I was, I was kind of gagged. I remember when he DM'd me because we only DM'd once before and he was like, I loved your videos of Gigi. And I was like, thanks. Cause like, you know, I followed him and I don't know, whatever, probably our cosplay
Starting point is 00:16:00 or something. He was just being nice. And so I was like, oh, thanks. And then literally, yeah, what were we? We're on our way to the San Diego show. Like, oh no, it was the night we got down to San Diego before the show. It's like Wednesday at like literally like 1130 our time. And I'm like checking my DMs and I'm doing whatever. And then I'm like, oh my God, like I was like, thought I hallucinated. I told Moses like, Bowen Yang just DM'd me. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:16:20 what do you think he said? He's like, he's coming to the show. And I was like, yeah, why can't it be? He's coming to the show. Because he did. Harry Daniels did invite him to the show. That's true. That's very true. And it was literally, like, literally, like, the most delusional thing I could ever think of where it's like, I wrote a sketch for you to be on Saturday Night Live. I was like, what? It was so crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:39 And it's still, like, I really don't know if it, like, set in for me. It's still so crazy. And I was like, I reread it so many times with Moses. I was just like, I'm so, like, confused. Like, I don't know if this is, like, real or, still so crazy and i was like i reread it so many times with moses i was just like i'm so like confused like i don't know if this is like real or like i'm misreading this or like what and i read it so many times and then um we were just dming and then it became the next day we were like on the way to the san diego show and i was like i gotta really i gotta know if i'm like because he said oh they reached out to my people my people didn't tell me anything i didn't know they said they hadn't gotten anything so i was like what
Starting point is 00:17:02 people so i'm just like this This happened because she made it happen. Well, Bowen made it happen. I didn't like, yeah. No, but I'm saying after he put the first step, but then it could have easily just not go anywhere. Yeah. I was persistent. Because this is a matter of hours.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Hours. Because I needed a flight. Because we like finished the show, went to the hotel, packed her bags. Five in the morning, she's on the flight. She lands and like in traffic gets to the rehearsal. You know what I mean? Yeah. It was like. We went straight to the hotel packed her bags five in the morning she's on the flight she lands and like in traffic gets to the rehearsal you know i mean it was like we went straight to the rehearsal if she for a second hesitated she would have not made it yeah yeah and it wasn't easy to decide to go well it was very hard because when we had the kids in san diego and i was like oh my gosh how
Starting point is 00:17:39 am i gonna take the kids we were supposed to bring them back it was just like this whole thing that was one two i had no outfits for new y York because all my outfits were here. And I was like, okay, how, but luckily I had my tour bag already. And then, yeah. And then three, it was just like, okay, is it happening? Is it not? Because it was very like wishy-washy. It's like, this might happen. This might not. And I'm like, okay, do I just like go and risk it? Like maybe. So I just was very persistent and a little pushy because usually I like let and wait to see. I'm like, well, he hasn't DM'd me back. But I was like, okay, let me just give him my number. I'm like, is this happening? Should I book a flight? And then he texted me right away.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Thank God. I'm sure he was so busy. And he texted me. And he's like, yeah, it's happening. We might need you Friday. We might need you Saturday. We don't know. So it was very that.
Starting point is 00:18:13 I was like, let me just make sure I get there by Friday. And then thank God I went to rehearsals straight from the airport. No makeup. My hair was so not washed. It was so bad. I had a hat on and everything like that. Straight to rehearsals. No makeup.
Starting point is 00:18:23 No glam. And I do the sketch. And Paul Meskel's right there. and everyone's right there. And I'm just like- Your friend, Paul Muskell, who you've talked so highly of this whole year. First of all- Let's rewrite history. Yeah. Paul Muskell's my favorite. I don't even know what Wicked is. Gladiator is my favorite movie ever. Gladiator 2. I was very charmed. Very few words, but very charmed by him. I literally
Starting point is 00:18:43 was, he was just so nice and he was – I got it in person. You know what I mean? Like I just – I guess I didn't – I wasn't like too familiar with him. But after that, I was like, oh my God, I kind of love – he was like literally so nice to everyone and everybody. And it was – it was very crazy. I didn't know I was in that sketch with him. Like it just was very much thrown into it. And then when I saw him, I was very just like, okay, I get it.
Starting point is 00:19:02 I was like very charmed. Now I love Gladiator too. I love everything. He was just really nice and funny. And I was him, I was very just like, okay, I get it. I was like very charmed. Now I love Gladiator too. I love everything. He was just really nice and funny. And I was like, okay. I just felt very – I felt very surreal. It was really cool. So we did our sketch.
Starting point is 00:19:12 We rehearsed. I was in rehearsals. And it was fun. It was cool. I will say this is the TV show that hyped me up the most. Like everybody there made me feel like I was freaking like – I don't know. I don't know who's like the biggest person that could be on SNL. I just felt like so famous. They made me feel so special. TV shows usually
Starting point is 00:19:29 don't care. Like when I've done like Dr. Phil, they're like, go there. Don't ask for anything. Just like whatever. They catered like what food do you want with this? People were asking for pictures. It was like literally, and it's SNL, so it has like the biggest stars. And I was just so like confused by the whole thing, but it was really, really wonderful. And probably the highlight of my 2024 for sure. I was like, wow, so cool. And then I like played myself. It was very weird. My biggest fear though, was like going out there and they introduced like the iconic Trisha Paytas and like no one really knowing. Because again, it's kind of niche. Like I get it. And I do have more confidence now that I've been on SNL that like, okay, people know who I am, but, but it's still niche. It's still the internet. You know what I
Starting point is 00:20:08 mean? So I was like, Ooh, this is, this is really, this is really risky. Um, but weirdly the first rehearsal was like all influencers. This episode is sponsored by kickoff. Kickoff is the number one credit building app out there this holiday season. The best gift of all is giving good credit to yourself. We're all just trying to survive the holidays. even if your credit is working overtime this season. Make sure you got a plan to build credit fast after the holidays with Kickoff, the number one credit building app in the App Store. Their plan starts at just $5 a month and there's no credit check, no hidden fees, and no interest. The holidays are wild, you guys. You're always looking to buy gifts. You're like, I'll just put it on my credit card, not knowing if you're gonna pay that credit card off.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Maybe you're looking to make a big purchase. Sometimes you don't know how important credit is. And if you're trying to make a big purchase this holiday season, make sure you're building up good credit. Maybe you don't even have a credit card because you're just like, I don't even wanna get into credit card debt,
Starting point is 00:20:58 but that also doesn't really help your credit. When making big purchases like buying a home, getting a car, getting a loan, they want to see that you have good credit at all by paying off your payments on a timely manner. I did not know how important good credit was. I got a credit card out when I was 18 years old, didn't make a couple hundred dollar payment, didn't think it was a big deal. It's a low amount, not a big deal.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Even those low amounts and I've not paid off on time can be damaging to your credit score and credit is everything. That's what people look at. They don't want to care about income. They don't care about a lot of things. They care about credit. Are you responsible? Have you been able to make payments in a timely manner? Have you been paying off things? With Kickoff, it's easy to build credit. It's easy to sign up and get started. You see a change in credit and you see it quickly. This is very important, again, when you want to make those
Starting point is 00:21:42 big purchases. If your credit is under 600, you could jump like 28 points in your first month. Kickoff is a smart, legit credit hack with no credit check, no hidden fees, and no interest. It's simple. You make one-time payments, credit bureaus see good behavior, and a credit grows fast. This is really, really great, you guys, because a lot of times to get a credit card, you need some sort of credit. Otherwise, they'll give you a really high interest rate and you're just paying off forever. I've done this with credit loans in the past where I needed cash now. I get $5,000 out and I end up having to pay
Starting point is 00:22:12 $100,000 back. It's the truth. It's happened to me. It gets the best of us. You need the money, you need the cash, you need the credit. With kickoff, don't have any of that. You have no hidden fees and no interest. It's affordable, easy, and effective. Start building credit immediately for only $1 for your first month. You can build credit in your sleep. With autopay, you never have to worry about missing a payment. This is also very important. There have been so many times in the past couple of years even where I was just like, oh, I missed a bill. I missed a payment. And it's not because of lack of money. It's just because I forgot. You didn't get it in time. It gets lost in the mail. Setting up that autopay will do wonders. Sign up in minutes from your phone. No credit check and cancel anytime. Kickoff is the

Pay payment and credit activity outside kickoff can have impact on your credit terms and conditions may apply office subject change individual results may vary thank you kickoff so much for sponsoring this give yourself the best gift this holiday season by building up your credit with kickoff really maybelline had brought like remi joe bader had posted i think spill sesh was there what i think i saw spill sesh post the snl cups remi joe bader had posted i think spill sesh was there what i think i saw spill sesh post the snl cups remi joe was like get ready with me as i go to see snl or something like that so and then my agents were saying oh yeah maybelline is here with like a bunch of people so they do like a run through at 8 30 like the full show in front of a live audience but it's
Starting point is 00:23:57 a different live audience than the one that comes at 11 30 to see like what works because they cut sketches in between there and like who gets last and last and all. It's, like, very stressful. And then, so I think it was, like, all influencers or a lot of influencers. So the first rehearsal, like, was actually kind of wild. Like, it was, like, so many cheers. Like, before I even, like, got, like, right when I got on stage before they even cut to me, it was, like, so many cheers. I was, like, thank God. I'm, like, I hope the next people. So I think that saved our sketch, honestly. Because we were, like, we were towards, like, the end. I was, like, oh, my gosh. And a lot of sketches did get cut that were, like, funny. And I was, like, oh, my gosh. So I was like, oh my gosh. And a lot of sketches did get cut that were like funny.
Starting point is 00:24:25 And I was like, oh my gosh. So I think it kind of saved me. And then, yeah. And then when we did the main show. Yeah. Oh yeah. Lauren Michaels like, so he's there. Lauren Michaels is like there for every show.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Did you know that? No. He like watches every show. Not only does he like watch it, like in between the first rehearsal, the first show with the live audience and the actual taping of it, he sits on stage and gives everyone notes like in front of people like there's a board of which sketches get cut and which sketches make it and he gives like notes to everybody it's like so so nerve-wracking it's like so crazy we didn't get our only note was um it was supposed to be like the best bussy a celibacy but it kept sounding like the p word and they like really
Starting point is 00:25:01 hit the b and we kept hitting the b and they're like no you have to change it to like bussy so that's why we had to say bussy it was supposed to be we kept like practicing like the P word and they like really hit the B and we kept hitting the B and they're like, no, you have to change it to like bussy. So that's why we had to say bussy. It was supposed to be, we kept like practicing like the best bussy is called bussy, but then they're like, you have to change it to bussy. So I was like, okay. Um, so really not a no, but just like, whatever. And they cut a little bit at the beginning of the sketch too. I wasn't in it, but they cut a little bit with, he had like a Disney channel one. It was pretty funny, but they cut it obviously for time, but Lorne Michaels is giving notes to everybody. So it's like literally Lorne Michaels on the stage, Dana Carvey's in the front row, Paul Meskel's right in front of me just by himself, just chilling. And then it's me and then Bowen's next to me. And then like a lot of the cast is like standing behind. It was very nerve
Starting point is 00:25:35 wracking, but it was, it was crazy. So then we did it for the live audience and the live audience was just as hyped. It was cool. Cause like right before, right when I sat down, like I wasn't even on camera yet. Everyone was just like, woo. It was like made me feel so special. So thank God people knew me in the audience. I was like, oh God, it would have been a mess if it was like, just like, I don't know, the Future Farmers of America or something, which they might know me because I'm from the Midwest. Maybe they would know me too. You are a Midwest princess.
Starting point is 00:25:59 That's true. That's true. What would be someone who didn't know me? I don't know. Like the National Rife Association or something. Rifle. I don't know. National Rife. Matt know me? I don't know. Like the National Rife Association or something. Rifle. I don't know. National Rife.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Matt Rife. I don't know. I thought that's where you were going. The Matt Rife Association. I don't know. People. I don't know. Hunters.
Starting point is 00:26:13 I don't know. People who wouldn't know me. But thank God they knew me. And it was really fun. And I felt. I really did feel like a superstar. I really felt so. Really just the people at SNL.
Starting point is 00:26:22 They made me feel like so hyped. And then afterwards like seeing Twitter and stuff stuff was cool because I was like trending with Paul Mescal. And I was like, oh my God, it's so cool. And I got to go up for the bows. And Bowen's like, you're going to go on stage. And I was like, okay, let me just like stay in the back with you. He's like, no, no, you're going to go like to the front.
Starting point is 00:26:34 And I was just like, oh my God. So I'm like standing next to like Paul Mescal, like Dan Carvey, David Spade, Shabuzy, and me. I love you, Shabuzy. I love you. Shabuzy was so nice. Our dressing rooms were all next to each other. We're connected. So Paul Mescal's dressing room is right next to mine. It's really small backabuzy. I love you. Shabuzy was so nice. Our dressing rooms were all next to each other. We're connected.
Starting point is 00:26:45 So Paul Meskel's dressing room is right next to mine. It's really small back there. Have you been? Yeah. It's so small and so tight. And, you know, you're just – everyone's just walking around talking to everybody. So it's like – and Paul was like with like literally one person. His crew was very like little.
Starting point is 00:26:58 And me too. I think I had like my agent Lydia and then the glam people. But, yeah, it was like really, really small and really tight. But it was cool. It was fun. It felt very surreal. It still feels very surreal. It's very odd.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Did you see like the Amphidiati clip that people brought back up too? No. Oh, wow. What is it? No one did see. In the reading that he did for you, it literally – and it was exactly six months. It was like in six months, I see you having this opportunity and it's going to be something big with TV something that you feel like oh I can't do I can't have that you can could be TV it could be something like that but it's just a giant project and it's one that you
Starting point is 00:27:33 wanted for a very long time wow and it didn't happen it didn't manifest and it's coming back around to happen okay so we don't worry I think that this might be a little bit of a ways out like I feel like maybe like six months ish okay it's not bad yeah but i do think it's this year and it's something that you've been thinking about and manifesting for a long time yeah it was really trippy i didn't even realize that i didn't realize how much i manifested as an ally i really didn't because we were like wow you're really the queen of manifestation and i'm like i didn't realize that i've always loved us and I really have.
Starting point is 00:28:06 And the David Spade connection is also funny because I'm glad. So when we were on stage, he's like, oh, hi. Because obviously he knows who I am. Because I used to DM him. I used to DM him a lot back in the day. And nothing too weird. It was always like, come on the podcast. Before this podcast, I had my other podcast.
Starting point is 00:28:19 And then he would ignore me or whatever. But then he talked about me once on Whitney Cummings about how much money I made or something. So I'm like, okay, he's aware of me. But he was very nice because he knows one of those awkward things where I'm just like, does he recognize me? Does he know? And they're like standing next to me critiquing the sketches or whatever. And then when we went out there, he like gave me a hug and he's just like, oh, good to see you. I was like, good to see you. We're on the SNL stage together. Like, I don't know. It was very short and very that, but you just never know. I was at Death Becomes Her on Broadway. Catherine McPhee was backstage.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Oh, our friend Catherine. I got a little nervous. I got very nervous. The two people were like, you should say hi. Because there was, they call them two VIPs. I was considered one of the VIP that night. That was very bizarre. But like, no, there's another VIP here.
Starting point is 00:28:59 And I was like, oh my God, I wonder who it's going to be. And I was so excited. And then when I saw Catherine McPhee, I was like, excited. Because I actually do love her. Me too. But I feel like we've talked about the relationship with David Foster. Look, in that moment, I was like, gosh, I wish I didn't have a podcast. I wish I could just shut my mouth and not comment on relationships that aren't mine.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I really did. And the chances of them seeing that are slight. However, I do feel like a lot of people see things when it's about them. Yes. Even the most biggest celebrities will see when you talk about them. So I was like, shh. David Foster talk about them. So I was like, shit. David Foster was with her. So I was just like, oh. And Megan Hilty's in Death Becomes Her.
Starting point is 00:29:29 So it was like a smash reunion backstage. And I was like so excited. And they're like, you should go up and like say hi. I was like, no, no, no. Like let me just try to avoid it. Yeah. I was like, let me not be that person. So I was just – she was like singing backstage.
Starting point is 00:29:39 She was like, ah. Like it was kind of everything. It was kind of – and I realized in that moment I was like Catherine McPhee's Dan. I was like, oh my God. I really love her. And I wish I could have said hi. Should have said Oscar. I know.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Show the clip. I know you. Yeah. But it was just a night of a lot of celebrities. That was good. Sunset Boulevard was good. Yeah. We just had like a whole Broadway week and then now I'm going to Broadway February 3rd.
Starting point is 00:29:58 So I got to go rehearse for that in January. It's just a lot. Oh, my God. I know. I literally was – I don't know. I literally felt like I was lena for a second i was like crying like when i woke up and saw the snl stuff i couldn't even like i was liking
Starting point is 00:30:11 your instagram posts but i couldn't even comment because i couldn't even like put words together i'm like i can't even text you like it took me like i think i texted you like that night it was like 15 hours later because i couldn't even process. I was like, this is so surreal. And it really was wild. I was like so emotional. It was so, it was very like wicked press tour. I was like, I get why those girls were crying all the time. I do. Because I was like, I was holding space.
Starting point is 00:30:36 I was like trying to formulate my thoughts. Any little thing, like I would like be okay. Then I would like see a tweet that's like, oh, I just love seeing her dreams come true. And then I would start crying again. I was like, damn, this is crazy. I was sad I didn't hear from you right away. I was just like, because I really wanted to know what you think. And then I was sad we couldn't do our hot topics.
Starting point is 00:30:51 But then when I saw your live stream and I was watching you critique the pose. And it's like, Emmy. And I was like, okay. The Emmy campaign is going to be fierce. You have led by me. I literally couldn't even put like words together. Like I was like, what is happening? I couldn't even process. I was like, was like what is happening i couldn't even process i
Starting point is 00:31:05 was like this is nuts it was so overwhelming i don't know how you dealt with it because i was overwhelmed for you like i like emotionally shut down that's so cool i i honestly just i was like outer body like but i was like present but it really did feel like i just had so much to do that i was like i couldn't really like think about one thing because i was like literally snl after party and then it was like that night it was like little shop of horrors met the casting person of literally SNL after party. And then it was like that night. It was like Little Shop of Horrors. Met the casting person of Little Shop of Horrors. And so it was just like one thing and then the after party for that. And then the next day was Monday.
Starting point is 00:31:31 And that was my rest day. And then Tuesday was the show. And Tuesday was the Broadway announcement. Wednesday is the Broadway press. So I was doing all the TikTokers, all the Broadway TikTokers. And it was just like, it was just a lot. And then I did two shows that day. And then I came back on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:31:44 All the while, Elvis has a little stomach bug. So I felt so bad because Moses is with the kids by himself. Elvis is like throwing up for the first time. And I was like, oh, so it was because they were supposed to come out Monday. And then that just like didn't happen because she was sick. So like also having a sick baby at home, I was just like, so it was like the best high, high and like the worst, worst, worst, because it's like long as I've been away from Moses and the kids. And I was just like, so, so sad about that. So it was like awful. And they were supposed to join me and I was at the Plaza, which I wouldn't have just stayed at the Hilton. Like when I go on tours, I always stay at the Hilton. Cause it's just like, I want to, you know, obviously save as much money as possible, you know, whatever. Um, but I stayed at the Plaza
Starting point is 00:32:13 cause they were supposed to come out with me and we're going to do like the home alone Sundays. So here I'm at this like fancy hotel with like Christmas trees in my room. And I'm just like by myself, it was actually like so sad and so depressing. And I was like, okay, I wish I was at the Hilton, like with everybody else, because that's what I normally do on tour. And at least it could be with everybody. So I was just kind of like isolated and alone. But weirdly enough, a lot of influencers were also at the Plaza. Amber Scholl was staying there. Holly was staying. They're like just like so many people. Adrienne Ballone was there. Like there were so many people at the Plaza. It really was interesting. But I slept in my room most of the day. I went to
Starting point is 00:32:42 Benihana in New York at 11 a.m. and then I slept in my room. Benihana in New York is so good. It was my favorite actually. So yummy. But it was good. I was sad. Yeah, it would have been fun if you guys were all there. Maybe if I go like longer for New York at a period of time.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Come on, we'll do the podcast. It was hard to find a podcast studio. Oh, the next day after Asanala I had to do the podcast. Because Monday was – because I was thinking about like sending it to Jimmy and his editing time. So I was just like, okay, let me do it on Sunday. So that was very hard to find a studio and thank God for Bowen because it could have been – when I did the first 20 minutes by myself, I'm like, this is really hard. Just talking to myself about everything.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I was like so – it looked like I was sad or something. I was like, hey guys in New York. It was just awkward. The whole thing was awkward. So thank God he came and was a guest. He was a guest and he, that's his only day off. He literally gets like 12 hours off and he skipped a haircut to come there. Yeah. We literally, I think we became best friends. There was definitely sparks between you and Bob. From the moment I saw him, I was very giddy. He like instantly was so sweet to be. And he was on stage and you know how I feel
Starting point is 00:33:42 about people on stage. And I was just like, I was wicked and just all of it. I was just very, I don't know what it was. I was very overtaken. I was being my awkward self. I was like, are you single? Are you, are you, how'd you get such great skin? How old are you? You look so young. I was like instantly becoming like a weirdo. Thank God he was nice and he was wonderful. But yeah, he's my best friend. And he's great. And we texted and then we, i and then i was like after the podcast he was gonna like take the train back and i was like i have a car do you want me to take you back and so i took him back and it was just so fun because i'm gonna get to be in the car for 30 minutes and i i feel like i might have a little bit uh trauma dumped on him but he was very nice
Starting point is 00:34:16 and i apologize after i think i'm trauma he's like no no no it was so great he's he's very much like holding space kind of person you know what i mean Like you can tell him anything and it's that. And I just feel like we really bonded. Yeah, I love him so much. And I can't believe he wrote a sketch for me. Also Will and Asha. Asha I got to meet. She's one of the writers of the sketch.
Starting point is 00:34:34 She was like a 25-year-old who works on SNL. She's been there for a few years. And she was like the first person to think of me for that sketch. So I'm telling you, Gen Z. Who did we meet the other day? A Gen Z person. Who was that? Were you with me? Oh, yeah, yeah. From CAE.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Oh, yeah, yeah. Another one who is – oh, right, right, right. She got me a really good deal. All these young people, they know what's up. They're – I'm telling you, like the 25-year-old professionals, they are pitching me and they're getting me in and I appreciate it so much. But, oh, that's what – yeah, then one of the people that was backstage, Laura Michaels, when I was like on the stage, she's wow they really like her so yeah so i think the sketch got in so that was nice because i know it's like a whole process to like get a cameo on there and stuff so it was fun it was great it made me feel very it gave me some confidence that's for sure now i'm like okay i feel like i'm a little bit a little bit so much like press pickup too
Starting point is 00:35:21 i was like it was all like just so overwhelming because all these outlets were writing it up too and then even with like the bowen interview then that got picked up everywhere and then even like at et like they covered like the bowen interview on like instagram or something and then all the comments were like i know oscar did this i know and my co-worker is like can you let everyone know you're not the only employee here because like i don't even do the instagram at all like i literally just edit videos here and there you guys i love that though i love it too i love that they thought it was like just planting you we know oscar's behind it i'll take it thank you oh and ethi i'm the sole employee yeah i love that though well they should really treat you special over
Starting point is 00:35:59 there because you are probably the most known employee over there i was talking about it and shout out my vlog i was talking about it my vlog shout out my vlog it's humbling because it's like you know we give you like trish messes like everyone's so excited then i'll go in and work out 5 a.m tomorrow and then it's like we're interviewing jennifer lawrence oscar we don't give a f about like what you got you know what i mean it's very me coming home to being like okay like literally because elvis was still sick just like throw up everywhere i was like all right we're back we're back. We're back in it. I love it. We're grounded. Yeah, you got to be grounded. The balance is so good. I love coming back and being humble,
Starting point is 00:36:28 being like just changing diapers. And you're like, you know what? It's good. It's a good balance. Yeah. Because I was feeling like, I don't know. I felt like, oh, I'm just having the time of my life. Just like I'm going backstage at Sunset Bowl.
Starting point is 00:36:38 I have a picture with Nicole Serginger covered in blood. And we're like holding hands in the back of Sunset Bowl. It's like the most wild experience, everything. And then like, yeah. But I was like, I like coming home. I like coming home to simplicity. I feel very Hannah Montana, best of both worlds, you know?
Starting point is 00:36:50 Yeah, and the wig is giving Hannah Montana. Well, what Carol G today? But I'll take, I know, I want to do the Hannah Montana with like the pie in her face, you know, with the pink bathrobe. Yes, that's the pilot episode of Hannah Montana.
Starting point is 00:37:02 I have to watch it. Never seen it. Maybe I've seen like one episode or something. Was Austin Butler in that too or no? Yes, he was a love interest in Hannah Montana. Yeah. He's the new Patrick Bateman. I know.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Kind of gaggy. It makes sense. It makes sense. Better than Jacob Elordi, I think. I know. Everyone was really campaigning for Jacob Elordi to be in the new American Psycho. Yeah. But I think it makes sense for Austin Butler. People were kind of giving him a hard time. Yeah. But I think it makes sense for Austin Butler.
Starting point is 00:37:25 People were kind of giving him a hard time. Yeah. But I think it makes sense. He loves to transform into a role. Just don't take it too method. Don't get too psycho, Austin. He could actually. I wonder how they're going to change it.
Starting point is 00:37:37 I wonder if they're going to keep it the same. I love it. You ever seen it? Yes. In college, I had this random humanities class, and I had to watch it. Yeah. For what?
Starting point is 00:37:46 I don't, I have like such pieces of memories. I remember how to read The Hunger Games and I watched American Psycho. Oh, okay. And then, yeah. So random. For like a school project. Like watch this movie. It's a weird movie, but I used to love it.
Starting point is 00:37:59 I used to do like monologues of it. I think I had to private them. I think they had like F slurs in some of the monologues. I feel like you and American Psycho would make sense like back in your old era. I feel like that's a.ues of it. I think I had to private them. I think they had like F slurs in some of the monologues. I feel like you and American Psycho would make sense like back in your old era. I feel like that's a... I loved it.
Starting point is 00:38:10 I don't know. Maybe it was my picnic era where I was just like, I love American Psycho. But like I kind of did at the moment, but probably watching it now would make me queasy because I don't like violence
Starting point is 00:38:17 and I think it's pretty violent against women, but maybe they'll change it. I don't know. Love Austin Butler though. Would love him on the podcast. Maybe I'll get Paul Muskell on the podcast. He seems nice. I don't know. Love Austin Butler though. Would love him on the podcast. Maybe I'll get Paul Muskell on the podcast. He seems nice. I almost asked him.
Starting point is 00:38:28 He was so casual. So casual. I was just like, honestly, I feel like I could have just asked him. Same thing with Shaboosie. He comes in and he's checking himself. Can I borrow your mirror? And I was like, yeah, absolutely. And then he saw my dress. Oh, can I borrow that? Yeah, borrow the dress. It was very like,
Starting point is 00:38:44 everyone was so casual. I did just like and i did good i felt like i was like let me be in the moment let me not be too starstruck and dana carvey was next to me like critiquing a sketch he didn't get one of the hot frosty jokes and i was like he goes i don't get it and i was like oh it's a movie on netflix like i was very it was just very everything was casual it was really fun i don't know i really do watch it huh we tried to watch it you were just i kept falling asleep hot frosty yeah did you watch it no not yet i like it i want to finish it i just i was very tired i don't know i think it's when i just got back we were watching hot frosty and all those um i loved it i liked it i like it i just we haven't finished it i told you last night i
Starting point is 00:39:18 wanted to finish it we were watching elf or something but i was like i want to watch hot frosty and the merry gentlemanman oh the Chad Michael Murray stripper one yeah he said there was more thrusting and an X rated version that we didn't get to see
Starting point is 00:39:30 I'm adding that to my manifestation list 2025 is I want to be in a Christmas movie I see that for you too what's your manifestation list you know what's so funny is I actually put

Starting point is 00:39:46 And we were like, we were talking backstage and we're like, we both have made manifestation like mood boards because of you. Wow. Yeah. What's yours?

Starting point is 00:41:17 I made a slide of people I want to like interview either here or at my other job. I feel like semi-attainable is like Olivia Rodrigo again but like a little job. I feel like semi-attainable is, like, Olivia Rodrigo again, but, like, a little bit more time and, like, less frantic. Rachel Zegler, I feel like possible.
Starting point is 00:41:31 I think that's a very, very near possibility. Chapo, I feel like, is possible. And then Manon from Cat's Eye, also possible because she's responded to my DMs, too, and I love her. And she's, like, I love all of Cat's Eye, but Manon is just, her and she's like i love all the cat's eye but manana is just like she's so pretty i in my head i look like her because her face card is like insane and i need to like separate myself but me thinking i look like carol g today
Starting point is 00:41:54 oh that's a good that's a good guess. Yeah. And then I have like a collab, like collab manifestation slide. And it's like Jen McAllister is Caleb Heron. I don't know if I'm pronouncing his last name. I think he used his studio. That's what I was at. I didn't know. I was like, I love him too. They had told me that there.
Starting point is 00:42:18 And I was like, Caleb is amazing. He's like a Grindr top podcast. And he just started this year. Speaking of being humbled, I can't, we didn't make it into the top five Grindr podcast this year, but I think it's because A, we didn't campaign hard enough. Yeah. And also, Katya, now I get how you
Starting point is 00:42:33 think Pedro Pascal needs to share the roles more, because why does Katya need one and two of the top podcasts for Grindr? Because I feel like we would have been six. You know what I mean? For sure. I know. Maybe we weren't gay enough this year. I don't know. We had to step it up in 2025.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Even gayer. I think we were being too like gladiator, Paul Meskel. We needed to go more, lean more into gay. Yeah. Damn. I'm sad about it. Las Culturistas made it. Because he said that.
Starting point is 00:42:57 I was like, I didn't know the list was out. And I was like, maybe we did. And I was like, oh no. We didn't. And I wanted to get like graphics made and stuff to really campaign. Like a four-year consideration, Grindr. But also we're at a disadvantage. You got banned from Grindr.
Starting point is 00:43:09 I'm not on Grindr. That's very true. Right. Maybe that's why I talked about the being banned. And we need more, like, gay guests, I think, and then they can campaign for us. That's so true. Like, we need more gay singles to, like, really do the work for us. We haven't had a lot of –
Starting point is 00:43:21 No. Yeah, we need more. Yeah. So the Grindr outreach is going to be fierce in 2025. Ezra Sosa said he'd come on the podcast today. Yes. He was saying he would want to be my dance. He also said he wanted to be the dancing partner of the guy that
Starting point is 00:43:33 somebody. I don't know. Oh, Luigi? Yeah. He also said he wanted to be that person's partner. So I was like, I don't know. That's fierce. One of the headlines literally on MSN is literally like, Ezra says he wants to be with Luigi or Trisha. I was like, well... That's fierce. That is is fierce that's my competition oh I think you have a better shot I don't know if no but I don't know if he's available yeah I think you um are more accessible right now than Luigi oh that's cool when he said he wanted to be partnered with me that's pretty
Starting point is 00:44:00 cool and then when um but then when I saw that I I was like, okay. It's weird. I mean, Luigi, he's the internet's like it boy right now. That's wild. Yeah. No comment on that. That's crazy. Although, you are kind of in it though because everyone started posting that your Italians do a better Madonna cosplay. Oh, wait, why?
Starting point is 00:44:17 When? Because Luigi's Italian. Oh, gosh, please don't put me in these. This is too much. I was trying to be a little honest. You will always be at the scene of the crime, regardless. Because there is just a Trisha meme for literally any occasion. I personally love to see it.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I thought it was funny. That's a big yikes. That's a big yikes. This was during my week away, and I kind of don't know what's happening, but I just saw it. I was like, let me just be out of the internet for a little while. No, it's good. Yeah, people love them so yeah well if you want to come on I was super excited I was so I saw I think it was girl boss town girl town boss I forget her tiktok name she's manifested I was going to be partners with him and I was like
Starting point is 00:44:56 yeah I would do dancing stars but again only with Ezra and no one else something in that show everyone's like everyone's like hooking up everyone's like divorcing their people like it seems like what is happening over at dancing with the stars i don't know i know they love a showmance but i think i'm safe with ezra well i don't know what because you love jonathan bailey you love bo and yang might be it might be even worse that's actually true i think like met what's a val and max like they turn me off a little bit because they're too like mean and macho but yeah Ezra's just so sweet I think it might be
Starting point is 00:45:26 I'll be like oh yeah okay that's true I would love I would love okay maybe that'll happen but he said he'd come on the podcast
Starting point is 00:45:32 and I wouldn't answer his star so Ezra I'm gonna respond to you it was just this morning and I was super excited maybe that'll help us get our grinder up our gator up
Starting point is 00:45:39 yeah we really gotta do the outreach 2025 it's gonna be big no more no more no more non-gays you gotta be queer yeah definitely definitely that's the you know what I also want to do for guests
Starting point is 00:45:49 too is like the Jennifer Hudson show when they like line the the hallway and it's just like me and Moses yeah we gotta get the guests Ezra yeah oh Ezra so that'd be good Ezra so so hot. That would be good. Ezra, so hot.
Starting point is 00:46:06 So hot. Yeah. That'd be cute. I like it. We gotta get the hallway cleared out. I like that idea. I like where your head's at. I'm like the opposite where I'm just like gonna let it flow in 2025 for guests because
Starting point is 00:46:19 I'm always so stressed about getting guests. Yeah. And I'm like, you know what? Let me just have it flow where it's like the ones we really want on. You know what I mean? I'm surprised Hasan wasn't on your list. Well, he is on my collaboration. Oh, you didn't get to that part.
Starting point is 00:46:30 My collaboration slide. Yeah. Well, my collaboration slide is Jen McAllister, Caleb, Bob and Monet from Sibling Rivalry. Oh, yeah. And then Hasan, Cutie, Cinderella, and Austin's show from Fear Am. But it's Austin and Cutie are like number one and then hasan is number three because i'm playing i'm in my hard to get era so hasan is annoying me me honestly i know this is gonna come across as like very strange to you but i don't know anything about tricia paytas everything i've known about tricia paytas
Starting point is 00:47:04 has been like like she's crazy she's crazy like she's problematic she's crazy but like i don't know anything about Trisha Paytas. Everything I've known about Trisha Paytas has been like, she's crazy. She's crazy. Like she's problematic. She's crazy. But like, I don't know if that's the case or if that's just like what she used to be like and she's just more normal now. I just genuinely don't know anything.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I don't know anything about Trisha Paytas. Oh my God. I don't know her energy. How many? Not even that. How many? Can we please put together how many times Hasan talks about me
Starting point is 00:47:25 and I talk about Hasan which is about I was talking about the private jet I saw him on a private jet didn't know I was on mushrooms I saw him on a private jet
Starting point is 00:47:32 didn't know who he was that's it like we talked about this story 5,000 times and that's like the only story he has but also
Starting point is 00:47:38 you know a lot about me for not knowing me just saying like he's like oh I don't know even the way he presented the story like I'm going on a jet
Starting point is 00:47:43 and I don't know there's this old guy and Trisha Paytas is there yeah i'm like do you tell it in a way of like what is she doing here yeah and he also doesn't know how to pronounce don't work but knows how to pronounce paytas no one like even my own fans don't know how to pronounce paytas i was like okay you kind of know oh look i don't know i know she had a podcast look i don't know but i know she was on i don't know but you know she's on snl okay so you know, I don't know, but I know she was on. I don't know. But, you know, she's on SNL. Okay, so you know. I don't know what you do either. I know you.
Starting point is 00:48:08 I don't know. You're political, but also hot. And you're on news. Yeah. The equivalent of like what politics is to us. Maybe. You're the, like, we literally don't, we have no idea what he talks about. Literally no idea.
Starting point is 00:48:21 I couldn't tell you. Same thing. I guess, you know, maybe we're just the opposite. Yes, it's true. I also don't know you, but I're just the opposite yeah it's true i also don't know you but i know you i wouldn't be like i don't know but like if someone's like oh what do you think of hasan and snr i'd be like oh that's pretty cool he didn't give any of that i was like okay he gets this is a little too bro i'm kind of over it but like literally i think that's like the fifth time he's talked about being on a private jet with me so you're a fan i commented again i was hacked and commented on his instagram and it was
Starting point is 00:48:46 like i'm not gonna like this photo because i'm playing hard to get and then someone replied and was like oscar i didn't see your comment until i had to scroll down and go through like the hidden comments and i was like why was my comment i'm gonna give benefit of the doubt maybe it was because i say i'm not gonna like it so it was filtered out by like as like hate or something because my heart to get could be mixed with like hate i guess but in a world i'm like there is a world where he hit it because he's like sick of me in there and i'm like that's the case like his energy that energy is so annoying when people i don't know her okay then don't talk about it like you know what i mean like don't even mention me although he did say like i don't i think she is changed and different now which we
Starting point is 00:49:20 love love that no he's like somebody that doesn't know her yeah that's true he's like all right right right he's like oh i know she's crazy but i don't know i guess she's normal now i was like okay like you're a fan and that's fine that's okay that's cute but also just like so annoying anyways that's how confirmed that he's straight though because like you know you were questioning for a while that's very straight man energy no i can give those you know those like ones that are a little catty, the catty gays? I don't know. That's giving that.
Starting point is 00:49:48 It's giving catty gay for me. But it's fine. It's fine. I only care because he gets abused and stuff like that. And I do. And you love him. Yes, yes. I still.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Otherwise, couldn't care less. Don't know. Don't care. Shout out, Jimmy, by the way. Love you, Jimmy. Wish you were here. Oh, you will be here on Wednesday. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:09 Just went off the tangent. that's like all my manifestation and then i have like random stuff like a saltwater fish tank but that's something i can just like get at some point but i'm like that kind of counts no i love manifesting something because i want a gold toilet and i was like i probably get a gold toilet but i want to manifest it just in case it like presents itself to me just you at trish miss i forgot what this slide was yeah i put just you uh oh yeah another emmy a streamer award i put on there yeah this the the whatever you wanted to go to the gamer awards were the same night as us now yeah it's like oh we could have made it anyways yeah weren't invited but could have been there anyway didn't johnny perform johnny gilbert yes i love that he's like god i wish i could have performed i would have performed there if they asked me maybe not maybe next year
Starting point is 00:50:45 okay I'll do a Trishmas song I'll do a Trishmas set people would be so honestly would live though I don't know the gamer world is just I don't know
Starting point is 00:50:53 it's not my world I don't know if it's my world either but the girls looked very cute like Poki looked cute Valkyrie looked cute okay
Starting point is 00:50:59 Cutie looked cute she was giving Met Gala she wore like a custom Xbox dress with like lighting installed I was like this is very Met Gala I don wore like a custom Xbox dress with like lighting installed. I was like this is very Met Gala. I don't know what's going on here but I like the gays
Starting point is 00:51:09 and the girls in the room. Okay. We love that. Yeah. I was manifesting Met Gala after being in New York. I was like I could do Met Gala. I honestly could see that. I was feeling myself. That's why I did the manifestations in New York. I'm like okay I feel like this is very powerful right now. Yeah that's where you have to do it. Yeah I was like maybe Met Gala in May. One of my hot topics. I'm like, okay, I feel like this is very powerful right now. Yeah, that's where you have to do it. Yeah, I was like, maybe Met Gowlin, maybe.
Starting point is 00:51:26 One of my hot topics, I forgot. Emergency Intercom's Marc Jacobs collection got sold out. No. And they were the number five Grindr podcast.
Starting point is 00:51:36 So they're really on the come up. Yeah, they are. From the beginning of the year to now. Like, they had a big year. Yes. And this is my public plea for you guys at Emergency Intercom, Drew drew and enya if you
Starting point is 00:51:46 have any extra of the long sleeve raglons like i would love one like a clothing line they did a whole collection and i'm beef because mark jacobs didn't say what time it was going on sale and for the girls who are you know like they're on the clock they can't just be waiting around for like a notification that is live i didn't know until i didn't i forgot and checked at the end of the day all sold out is it a whole collection podcast or is it just they have um they designed a shirt like a little baby doll tee that's like their little doodles and stuff and then they have like a special like capsule collection i think they designed like some jewelry and then these jeans and stuff i feel like the only thing i could have pulled off is just
Starting point is 00:52:24 like this little long sleeve t-shirt um but they are just like the best the best did you see the campaign at all it was like oh my god it was like i was gagged by it because they just got like 20 people that look like drew and 20 people that look like enya and they're all dressed like identical and like did a whole like high fashion shoot with like just their doppelgangers and it was so their style of like being like we don high fashion shoot with like just their doppelgangers and it was so their style of like being like we don't really care we're just cool quirky yeah and it was like really giving the vibes and i was like damn i wish i looked like drew because i would have loved me in that shoot they really i mean they have like his hair some look more than others
Starting point is 00:53:00 and i remember when they posted like on their instagram story like this is random but if you kind of look like me email send an email to this email address. And I was like, I didn't have the hair. So I think the glasses are halfway there. Honestly. Yeah. I wish I would have at this point. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Was it in LA you think or New York? I think it was LA. Cause I remember when they posted it. That's so cool. Yeah. I love them. Yeah. They were like so nice.
Starting point is 00:53:19 I did ask them to be on the podcast a couple of times, but I think they just, they're just busy. So, you know, after a couple of times, you're like, let me just not anymore. Like you're busy. You can just ask them if you want to come on. Yeah. love that anytime yeah they're cool i do think they'll like really blow up my 2025 prediction early is they're gonna blow up even bigger next year yeah because i mean even just this one year like they were already so popular but i feel like they're so like mainstream now like even more so well they also both look like models like they both are well i think any
Starting point is 00:53:44 is an actual model right yeah so she's gorge and then he's gorge so yeah he and they both are just so like effortlessly like funny and cool i can't they have so much lore i feel like i learned more lore about them which i could be their friends i feel like by proxy i don't know we talk about them and they talk about us like a report yeah when I saw them They were super nice And I love it I love when I see people And they're like nice Oh Dylan Levine Was there last night too
Starting point is 00:54:08 Yeah Oh my god I was starstruck by her I was too I was so shocked Oh my god He said she was backstage And I was like
Starting point is 00:54:14 We have some mutual agents Oh okay Because I was so like So excited But I was like so confused And it was just She was so nice And I was just
Starting point is 00:54:23 I was Yeah I was definitely starstruck too You know some people Just seeing her Because we talk about her a lot Yes and I was just I was yeah I was definitely starstruck too you know some people just seeing her just like because we talk about her a lot yes and I wanted her on my podcast
Starting point is 00:54:28 I think I comment on every TikTok I'm like comment on my podcast I love you so much and she's been on Broadway and I'm just like awesome I was telling Darian this too like she walked into the room and like it's literally
Starting point is 00:54:37 just like star power because she's like just so pretty and poised and like carries herself so well and like you literally just feel like oh she's a star it's crazy no stands out for sure in that capacity where you're just like oh who is
Starting point is 00:54:51 this and like obviously then when you talk to her she's just so nice and just so like charismatic and she was amazing your boyfriend was also a star my mom were you in there when my mom came back into the dressing room and she's like have have you seen Oscar's boyfriend? Like, is that his boyfriend? Like, what? Like, you have talked about it before, how people kind of like stop and stare and I'm like, okay, you know, whatever. He's so pretty. I know.
Starting point is 00:55:11 He is very pretty. His body is like actually like one of those like statues from like the Greek, Roman, whatever. It was like, it's actually insane. I was like, oh, damn. And I guess I only saw that little picture on your computer of him with glasses. Oh, he looks like you or whatever. And you're obviously very handsome i'm not saying but like he is like literally like he looks like he's like built out of like stone or something
Starting point is 00:55:31 it's crazy he like he like he doesn't even try to get it which makes me like i'm like oh my god like what do you mean he just eats whatever he eats literally whatever like that's wild he eats he's a he's a lot like i can't even i was trying to think of a cue when i say it he's gonna be mad i said it but i'm like he's a lot like whenever we mukbang and i bring leftovers like it's gone he'll be like i don't know and then he eats it all i'm i'm so shocked yeah he's very sweet and very like quiet and like just like really really like he's literally baby moses i was telling like callie that i was like, he's the nicest. He's literally so sweet and nice and just quiet. Yeah. He's a little artist.
Starting point is 00:56:07 The very extra points for studying architecture. Cause I was trying to explain to her, like you can't study architecture and not be really like both smart and have motivation. Yes. And a lot of, cause it's hard work. It's so much hard work. And so he must be a really hard working.
Starting point is 00:56:21 Yeah. On top of it too. So not only is like good looking, but also like has like ambition and like going to school i was like damn like and he's like not really like he doesn't really understand anything like about like the influencer world like he's he's like pretty online but he's like on like the animal side of tiktok you know what i mean like he's not in the same like algorithm at all um so he is just kind of gagged by everything it's like wow i'm just very again very most he was just holding of gagged by everything. He's like, wow, I'm just so,
Starting point is 00:56:45 very, again, very most, he was just holding on, like every time someone gave me like a package, he would just hold it. Oh, and he had your camera and he was like vlogging you.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I was like, that's really cute. And he's like, are you okay? I'm like, yeah. Oh, I loved it. No, his vibes were so good. I got to meet Jimmy's boyfriend
Starting point is 00:56:57 too, whose vibes were so good because he is an influencer. Like, well, I guess what you call a gamer. That's influencer too, right? Yeah. And he was like very humble
Starting point is 00:57:04 and so everyone was just like, it was so nice to meet them because it's like I know you guys so well and when you meet someone's like partner it's just like such a different you get a different feel of that person yeah and for better or worse sometimes you partner like oh my god like there's one guest I won't say who but she had like the well I can probably know well whatever it's fine but she had like he had the worst energy I can't even say it because they're not together okay well whatever um but he had like the worst energy and you're just like oh my and i felt more bad for that person because i was just like oh like i don't know you just like meet someone you're just like what is it it's like some darkness or something but then you meet other people's partner oh they're so sweet yeah fresh air you're like so
Starting point is 00:57:35 happy for you oh thank god because i i just i know i'm like you know you talk about him but you don't like know them and then when you meet them you're like okay this is a good one yeah he's a little sweetie he was so excited he was so excited. He was so excited. It was funny. And I was showing him like – because he was like, can we listen to Trishmas songs on the way there? Because I don't know any. And I was like, okay. And the first one was a Christmas bop.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Jesus is born. Jesus is born. And he was laughing. He was like, oh, my God. I'm going to get in trouble if I'm laughing there. I'm like, no. Honestly, that's the vibe. That is the vibe. It is definitely the vibe. And that one did not even I'm laughing there. I'm like, no, honestly, that's the vibe. That is the vibe.
Starting point is 00:58:05 It is definitely the vibe. And that one did not even make the set list because I was like, this is too much. We debated on it when we did the Patreon video. You're like, no, it should be in there. And I was like, should it? I was like, I don't know. I do love that song. It's just a lot.
Starting point is 00:58:16 I mean, again, I think you were possessed by the Holy Ghost when you wrote that song because there's a lot of words and it all, I mean, you had bars in there for sure. I think that's why I didn't want to do it. I'm like, to like try to memorize all those words. There's a lot of words. I don't know how you did sure I think that's why I didn't want to do it I'm like to like try to memorize all those words there's a lot of words I don't know how you did it back then
Starting point is 00:58:27 yeah I don't either I think like you don't see my lips moving that much I think there's just a lot of shots of me like dancing or something it was so funny and yeah Dylan came up
Starting point is 00:58:34 to me I was so no way yes because she walked in and I just like smiled I was like cute I was like and then she came up to me later
Starting point is 00:58:41 she's like oh my god I love you on the podcast no way I was like how was she doing I was like she was doing so good she was so sweet no she was really nice she came up to me later. She's like, oh, my God. I love you on the podcast. No way. I was like, how is she doing? I was like, she is doing so good. She was so sweet. No, she was really nice. She came to me, too.
Starting point is 00:58:49 The sweetest human being. Yeah, super nice. That's wild because she's arguably, like, the biggest, like, TikToker turned, like, mainstreamer. Yeah. I mean, she did a lot of stuff before TikTok, too. But, like, and then she was telling me about some of the stuff she has coming up. And it's, like, so huge.
Starting point is 00:59:01 And she's always with, like, the biggest, like, she was with Alan Cummings. She's, like, always with, like, to me, that's the biggest. But she's always with, like, amazing people. Yeah alan cummings she's like always with like to me that's the biggest but she's always with like amazing people yeah i just don't know about carpet like every other day oh yeah yeah living her best life and i so i was kind of shook when i saw her back there i was like i did feel very like it girl and stuff and then tana page like oh we're on oscar talk like all set of oscar crave i was like wow oscar crave is really getting out there because i didn't get to meet oscar crave i didn't get i met trish crib i didn't meet oscar crave I don't know if he did the meet and greet. I think he was in the audience.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Was he nice? With his husband, I was like, wow, this is fierce. Yeah. And really getting the coverage. Starting point is 01:01:39 Content, content. Yes. And we get home and he sends me he's like okay here's the footage I was out there for an hour and a half okay I was out there for an hour and a half I want you to guess
Starting point is 01:01:50 how long the footage is 10 seconds it was 27 seconds okay 27's not bad you could have posted like a minute and a half of a meet and greet you could fast forward it
Starting point is 01:01:59 I guess yeah it's one little clip not bad and he was like well I didn't want to film people without their consent I was like okay I guess that's fair i guess but i'm like we got trish miss i think you're expecting yeah yeah it's like the filming area they're filming you like they're taking pictures with you i think that's what moses say when he films me i'm like don't film other people
Starting point is 01:02:15 like i don't know it's like weird but no i don't listen to her i just film i just like see yeah i think you need to train him a little bit first think later yeah yeah i think maybe i like an event like that like people are you are, you know, like, when I do, like, a meet, you're expected to, like, be on camera with me. And they'd be probably excited to be in, like, an Oscar book. So, I mean, he was really trying, though. I mean, it's only vlog number two, so, you know, he's still. It can be awkward, though.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Like, if you're the one filming, it's also awkward because people sometimes get awkward. You know, when they see, like, a camera, people can get awkward, too. So, maybe he was like, this is weird or whatever. But that's good. So, when's your second vlog going up? Sometime this week because I thought it was going to be a dedicated Trishmas vlog
Starting point is 01:02:49 but, you know, it's only a couple minutes of that. Okay. Yeah. Sometime this week. Maybe Thursday. 27 seconds of it. That'll be cute though.
Starting point is 01:02:57 I can't wait. Your first one was a bop. It's kind of a Trishmas miracle because I'm not a flop as I thought I would be. No, people love it. I posted it late. I didn't even promote it.
Starting point is 01:03:07 I'm like, here it is, girls. Oh, my God. That's when you know you made it. You can post it any time of the day. Me and Cancel can just post like whatever. Midnight. I know. And penguins.
Starting point is 01:03:17 When does he post? Is it random? I literally think whenever the hell. Is he still around? He's still around. Still getting a lot of views. Why do I ever hear about penguins? Like, I never hear.
Starting point is 01:03:24 I think he's just covering things that you don't care about. So. What does he cover? His last video was a review of the Kraven movie. That's wild. Don't care. It's crazy how many people do care. Like, how many views does it have?
Starting point is 01:03:34 Like, four million views? Probably a lot of views. Should I check? I mean, he really is actually the most fascinating. He is a mystery. He's an enigma, for sure. Because he can literally just do. I'm also probably the most jealous of him.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Like he's just sitting there like in a dark room with a white T-shirt just like making videos about whatever and people are watching. 1.1 million views. That's wild. Two days ago. Wow. And that's what? Kraven? Yeah, the Kraven movie.
Starting point is 01:03:56 Okay. Never heard of it. Don't care. But I guess 1.1 million people do. I don't even – it really bombed at the box office but i think people just like to hear penguins review movies i guess that's crazy i just there's just certain things i like we'll never get but like i don't get it mama i got yeah don't get it oh my but cool love it um another hot topic that i need to get into as well. Again, it's another Trish related topic is the Trish talks.
Starting point is 01:04:26 I need to add this to my manifestation slides. Honestly, Trish talk season two. I need a comeback and I need to be in one. That's my new manifestation. Yeah. Probably the top of it. What role? Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:37 But they're, they're wild. So what do you want to play? You guys, first of all, these videos only have like around 50,000 views and I need them. I think if you post them today, I think they would have like a million because they are so good. You know, yeah, Trish Crave. We need Trish Crave to boost it back up. And Ben, they came to me and they were like, Trish talks like you guys need to. They were like, how was it recording those?
Starting point is 01:05:02 I'm never, you know, on camera doing those things. Like, actually, it was the most fun we had as a those i'm never you know on camera doing those things like actually it was the most fun we had as a couple doing content you know and i was trying to describe to them how we would do it and because she would write all the scripts we're just like memorize it on the spot do them this is like fall 2021 when this is like my flop era it's a flop flop era like everybody is just like hates me like nobody wants to see anything from me really but i don't i don't let it keep me down i'm like something's gotta hit and we were watching like so many darmon videos and he was getting like four million five million i was like more yeah i'm like right like yeah someone like 17 million i was like i could i could do
Starting point is 01:05:39 these i could write these so darmon was our inspiration and i really thought they would take off i really thought this might be it um a little bit of satire, but there's also like lessons in them. There are lessons, yes. There was some value in them. I mean, a little bit, prob offense, probably delete later. There are some of them that were a little wild, but you know. I don't think any of them were too bad, to be honest. Okay. Yeah. My favorite one, I think there's, I literally did a live stream where I watched, I was only
Starting point is 01:06:06 going to do a couple, but I was so into them that I had to binge. Did you watch all of them? I binge watched all the season one of Trish Talks. Oh, no. How many are there? I think there was only 11. Wow, we did 11? That's a lot, though.
Starting point is 01:06:15 That's more than I thought. I thought we did like three or four. No, there was quite a few. Wow. Yeah, but it wasn't enough, honestly. I was like, wow, I really need a season two. What's the best one? Your Tammy Faye one was really good. And this is what I clocked too, you guys. enough honestly i was like wow i really need a season two what's the best one um your um tammy
Starting point is 01:06:25 faye one was really good and this is what i clocked to you guys again the trish talks if you haven't seen which a lot of people haven't but are must view trish media um they're on the just trish podcast channel just sort by oldest and you'll find them pretty uh pretty quickly the tammy faye one i can tell when m Moses is into it because that was the performance of a lifetime and I know and I literally had to pause
Starting point is 01:06:49 and I had to tell everyone I was like I was like he's very he's involved in all of them honestly but this performance there's something
Starting point is 01:06:55 setting it apart from the rest and I clocked it I think it's like when you have a wig you really the wig and I was like
Starting point is 01:07:01 it's not great sensory wise but damn you got in character like the second he puts a wig on a transformation a physical transformation emotional transformation we saw the movie and and what's his name andrew garfield i was like i had something to work with because i saw him and then in the show in trish miss there's the i love you jesus and in the
Starting point is 01:07:24 clips in the background they cut clips from the tammy faye yeah and i forgot like you're singing and i'm in the background like dancing in the bushes he was feeling it he took liberties for sure some of that stuff was in the script he's like i'm gonna come back here and do this i was like okay yeah i love it was fierce another one i love your gender equality one moses is a misogynistic basketball player. Trisha's repping for the WNBA. She's like, my guy. Like, girls can play basketball too.
Starting point is 01:07:52 And non-binaries. And obviously, T. T! And then Trisha's a mechanic with a broken ankle. And it's like, you know, women and non-binaries can be mechanics. And that's very, that is a very good action. I just went to a whole group of, like, non-binary theater people, and I was like, you know what? I kind of love this representation because I think it was definitely an era of people talking about non-binary, but I feel like we need to bring that back to more just equality
Starting point is 01:08:15 for all, all genders and non-genders. Yeah, exactly. I kind of love back then. I was really like, I still am. I'm still very into the non-binary era. I just had discussions. I think I had a discussion with this about – with Bone in the car actually. And it was like a genuine one.
Starting point is 01:08:27 It wasn't even on thing. And I was just like talking about like, you know, kind of being confused for me, for me personally. I'm like, I don't know. I feel like I don't really relate to any gender and, you know, whatever. And it was very like an open conversation. I really liked it. I really enjoyed talking to people about it.
Starting point is 01:08:38 That's so interesting. I love that one. The basketball one too. That's a good one. What did they say? Eat crap? Eat that crap. Yeah. You were like, I'm going to eat. Eat crap? Eat that crap. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:46 You were like, I'm going to eat that crap. Wait, that doesn't make sense. That doesn't make sense. We had nothing to do back then. This was before we were married or kids. There was bangers. There was a Twilight one
Starting point is 01:08:56 where Moses was Jacob. Where the hell have you been, loca? That's the police, Jake. That's the police. You have to go. You have to go you have to go and you were bella and you had the werewolf babies oh right and mukbang was one of the babies it was the one with the dogs even yeah we had the dogs there the dog acting was crazy wasn't there one where you were the vampire with like a eating disorder yes which honestly kind of spilled that was like at first i was like what is going on but then the message at the end i didn't see i started getting the formula a little bit because
Starting point is 01:09:28 that was the last one i watched and i knew that plot twist was coming but i didn't see that one he was edward moses was edward and then you wanted to um she wanted to lose weight yeah you wanted to become a vampire so you could only eat blood and be skinny and then moses was like how do you think i turned into a vampire because i had an ed and that's why i became one and i will not let you continue the cycle and i was like that's fierce and at the end you did a disclaimer we weren't drinking blood you guys it was cranberry juice and meanwhile it's just five bottles of cranberry juice on the counter i was like this is fierce this is fierce you guys oh my god i love that you got into it i literally was like i need like an actors on actors like variety and i just like a directors on directors i don't
Starting point is 01:10:10 know i need to like sit down like i want to have a formal like interview where like take it like so serious where i go like beat by beat of each episode honestly that could be a whole series for that one we need to we need to be like older like i need to be like older. Like I need to be like 60 years. You know what I mean? Like talking about, I remember we were in the basketball court. Those are fun to look back on. Well, we talked about doing that for Patreon. Maybe reacting to some of them for Patreon. I haven't watched them in so long.
Starting point is 01:10:36 They held up. I love Lucy because we seriously want a TV show like I Love You, Trisha. Because we did that one too. But that wasn't part of Trish Toxie. I Love Lucy one was for Trisha. But it was for us it was kind of like in that group of... Oh right. We did because we did Christmas specials that year too. We were doing like literally we were
Starting point is 01:10:53 trying everything. I was like something has to hit. Something has to be picked up. And we think we did a Christmas special and we did skits and we did like an I Love Lucy one because we for some reason got really into I Love Lucy that year and she has a Cuban immigrant husband and she's like this quirky like funny whatever and I was like oh my god this could be us.
Starting point is 01:11:09 So like I watch any movie Tammy Faye and Jim I'm like that could be us. I watch I Love Lucy I'm like this could be us you know. So I was like maybe they should do like an updated I Love Lucy and you're like Ricky Ricardo and I'm Lucy or whatever and so we were trying to make that happen too. We were trying to make anything happen but I don't know. It's good. Over time I think it pays off. Like, as Bowen's, he's like, you've been doing sketch comedy the longest.
Starting point is 01:11:28 He goes, I watched you and Gigi doing sketch comedy. I was like, yeah, it was giving us a now. Honestly, I'm not even kidding. The writing was really good. And I couldn't because even in my head, someone was like, OK, Oscar, what would your like Trish talk be? And I was like, wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:40 What would it be? The only thing I could think of is there's some kind of plot twist because, you know, my platform is like anti-whale phobia. so that was going to be my message at the end like pro whale and then the twist was going to be like somehow i am like related to a whale like an actual whale so i don't know i'm working through it because you always have a good plot twist you know you have to have like a twist and turn it's very like gone girl vibes or like you know you you think you know, but you don't.
Starting point is 01:12:05 Do we have to go to like an aquarium? Like, how are we filming a whale? That's true. You guys green screened a lot. We do it at home,
Starting point is 01:12:12 special effects. That's true. We have a little fish in an aquarium. There you go. Malibu's fish. Is the fish still around? Is it still doing good?
Starting point is 01:12:19 I never see it moving. I'm like, are you sure it's okay? They don't move that much. Oh, okay, okay. Is it sleeping? I'm like, are you sure?
Starting point is 01:12:24 But one thing that people don't know because I see the making of it is like how well of a writer she is because she would write those scripts she'll see them like write the whole script or same for the songs or the shows and like it and there's always something like oh wow this is really amazing yeah like there's always something there's character development there's plot twists um oh and same for the tavern because the tavern is even more because it's improvised so it's the same thing it's writing a story a plot twist the whole thing i have my netflix show ready for that netflix call me i have a tavern show i'm ready to pitch i mean i feel like trish talks i mean you could have a whole like trish dreaming platform because there's so many like shows
Starting point is 01:13:01 yeah i know my dad was very impressed by the tavern skit yesterday at the show. He's like, what is this? Yeah, he was so excited. And backstage he's like, oh my God, what is that? Like, I need to know more about it because he's coming home for Christmas Eve. I got to ask you so many questions about this tavern. Like, that was so cool.
Starting point is 01:13:15 What is it? And I was like, oh, it's the thing upstairs. He's like, yeah, I know. But like, where's the accent? Like, what is this from? And I was like, I just came up with a dad. I don't know. And some of our friends that came
Starting point is 01:13:23 that didn't know about the tavern they're like where was that filmed I was like in our house yeah that's so funny they're like what do you mean
Starting point is 01:13:30 I was like yeah I met her little tavern I was like how I was like I don't know I went to Home Depot I picked this one up this one up it is really impressive though
Starting point is 01:13:36 because it does look like a bonafide set that tavern set that's so funny and that was just like so random and Lou Wizzle shout out Lou Wizzle
Starting point is 01:13:42 for doing the intro he did that whole which is nuts because it's literally like high end Sabrina Carpenter short and sweet tour. And I literally was like, okay, like what do I owe you? He's like, I don't know. Whatever you think is fair.
Starting point is 01:13:52 I'm like, how much did you work on? I don't know. Like what do you pay someone for something like that? He captured the girls so good. Yeah. There's both Malibu and Elvis. So good. It's so cute.
Starting point is 01:14:03 I don't know if he's ever done like a talking one because he was like, I don't know if I can do this. I don't know if I have the time or whatever. Like whatever. And then he did it like so fast. And I gave him like the audio. And he – it was really good. That was everyone's like favorite part.
Starting point is 01:14:12 And you scripted that too? Because that was good. I scripted that. I scripted it all. I got everyone to do their voiceover. You could be a writer on SNL as well. Maybe. I could really see it.
Starting point is 01:14:19 It's so weird. Weeks before I went on SNL, I met with a writer on the show. His name is Jimmy Fowley. He's also an English teacher. He had like a little cameo. He's like one of the waiters. And he's one of the writers. He did the Domingo sketch too. So he, I met with him weeks prior and it's like so separate from me being on SNL, but he was like, he worked on the Sabrina Carpenter nonsense Christmas special. And he's like, you should have a Christmas special. Like I want to write it with you, like whatever. And it was like, so cool. So we had that like, and he's like, just so you know, I remember telling you this. He's like, I pitch you all the time for SNL. And I was like, you should have a Christmas special. I want to write it with you, whatever. And it was so cool. So we had that. And he's like, just so you know, I remember telling you this.
Starting point is 01:14:46 He's like, I pitch you all the time for SNL. Oh, my God. And I was like, okay. He's like, I'm going to keep pitching you. I was like, well, okay. To me, I was like, that's so wild. Well, obviously, I'm not going to go on. I'm not in any movies or anything.
Starting point is 01:14:56 And literally two weeks later, that's when that happened, and it was so separate. I got to meet him there. Jimmy was there, but he didn't write the sketch, and I was like, wait, this is so weird and kismet and all that stuff like that. But his boyfriend ended up coming, and it was cool. So it was just a to meet him there. Jimmy was there, but he didn't write the sketch. And I was like, wait, this is so weird and kismet and all that stuff like that. But his boyfriend ended up coming. And it was cool.
Starting point is 01:15:08 So it was just a whole weird SNL connection. And speaking of English teacher, Jordan Firstman was there last night. Did you get to see him? Yes, I did. I got to see him. He was with Anna Collins. Yes, he was with Anna. Which is crazy.
Starting point is 01:15:17 And- Amelia. Amelia. Yes. Yes. Oh, my gosh. She's like, I don't know if you remember, but I took a picture with you. I was with Lily, Rose Depp.
Starting point is 01:15:24 I was like, say no more. I post it all the time. I just more she came up and i was like and anna was like oh this is my friend amelia she's the one that met trisha with lily rose depp at the grove and i was like amelia do you have that photo with you and she's like i think it's on my phone somewhere i was like you need to show trisha this because she talks about this moment a lot like it was i don't know i literally was like you don't know how valid that's why when she said it i was like, that's the best moment of my entire life. And then she said she was in the idol. She was in the Valentino scene where they're like having sex in the Valentino store.
Starting point is 01:15:53 I was like, icon, icon, icon. So it was kind of everything. I was happy to see her again. She was like just as beautiful because I saw all of them. They're all like these beautiful people. And I was super excited. I was like, oh my gosh. And I was like, the English teacher connection is there.
Starting point is 01:16:04 I think they already shot season two, but maybe we'll get on season three. I do love it. I really feel it was season three. Yeah. I think that would be – especially now that you're an SNL star. Exactly. I know everyone. I know Jordan.
Starting point is 01:16:13 I know Jimmy. I could be in the mix. Yes. Actually, I know Brian. Yeah. He's like, well, I've come on the podcast, but I'm busy shooting season two. And I was like, all right. Again, I'm just letting the guests happen naturally.
Starting point is 01:16:24 I'll reach out here and there if it happens. I'm trying not to stress too much but 2025 will be a crazy year for sure. I can already feel it and that's a good manifestation for it.
Starting point is 01:16:33 I think that's good. I think I can definitely get a Trish toxin for sure. We'll just have to figure out the whale connection. But I'm open. I'm open to just about any role. Your mom is also really good
Starting point is 01:16:41 in Trish talks. A damn powerful performance from Lena. I even had to tell her yesterday. I was like, damn, Lena. And she was like, wait, what? And then she remembered that she did it. Her dementia.
Starting point is 01:16:52 Yeah. That's another. She took it too seriously. She forgot. Very method. Yes. Yeah. She had the episode where she was a Karen.
Starting point is 01:17:01 But she actually. This is actually a good message. And like, that's how I knew your writing was like really good because it was like, we thought Lena was, again, spoiler alerts for Trish Talks season one, episode three, I think. We thought that Lena was just a Karen who was just like, you know, like homophobic and like didn't care about pronouns and stuff, but actually she had dementia. So it was a message to not judge Karens because you never know what Karens are going through. It was a weird message.
Starting point is 01:17:26 It kind of was going around because sometimes Karens are Karens and they are like that. But then I was like, I don't know. Hurt people hurt people. Yeah. Is that what I said? No. That's a good line. But you did have the Trish talk at the end of the episodes are always.
Starting point is 01:17:40 You had one where it's like, honestly, parents, whether you're mom or dad or a non-binary parent. And it's like you know like honestly you look parents whether your mom or dad or a non-binary parent and it's like you could have just said parents but i really was trying to drive the message home that non-binary are a thing and people need to acknowledge it it was so good i need a season two i literally think if you you could literally upload these to tiktok and if if we find out tiktok is gonna get banned i need you one day just upload them all on your tiktok like the full videos. Because the world needs to see this more. I just can't believe they don't have like millions and millions of views.
Starting point is 01:18:11 It's some of your best work. I'm almost privated because it's on this channel. I'm like, okay, I don't want the channel to look messy. No, I'm glad you did not because they are some of your best work. If you're wondering, if you're on this channel now, just scroll back. Just scroll back. They are so good you guys some of your best work yeah big fan it was fun thank you oh my god that's actually so nice to hear because that
Starting point is 01:18:30 it was fun and i did think they were going to be like big and then when they were i was kind of like okay it's sad i like all your work though has all aged well over time yes yes people were ahead of their time yes very much we put them there for the aliens that are showing up now. We'll put one with aliens. We need to do more topical things. We'll do ones about aliens and drones and that kind of stuff. Oh, drones is a good one. Yes, that's a good one.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Yeah. Most of the time, we'll do all the drones that were like in New Jersey or New York or something like that. I know. I was just seeing those. My For You page is entirely either the alien invasion or trisha you know it's like so it's like it's like from trish mesh to snl to broadway like seriously everything is cruel there's nothing in the world right now to exist so i think if the aliens are coming they're going to demand to meet trisha because they are monitoring everything and they're realizing there's one person in this world we need
Starting point is 01:19:22 to meet if we want to get you know an idea of what's happening here you would be a good ambassador for like alien human relations yeah so they can come and sit here on the chair maybe next episode they'll have an orb on the chair you said well we don't have any more episodes we have the big finale episode maybe 2025 our season is that what is that our season three season two seasons by years me either i don't know i think we're at season two i think we? Our season three? Season two? I don't know how to do seasons. By years? Me either. I don't know. I think we're at season two.
Starting point is 01:19:47 I think we're like season two intermission right now. Because we started – Oh, our winter hiatus? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I think that's how it goes. Oh, yeah. I see.
Starting point is 01:19:54 I see. Good. Right? Because we started in July. So that's like our summer vacay. Okay. Nick Acato was also supposed to come on the podcast this week. He's here in LA.
Starting point is 01:20:01 But he – I guess I can't say what he's doing here. But he wasn't able to make it. But after SNL, I got – reached out to more people because he was always like okay yeah and the next year whatever and then he's like oh i'd love to be a guest on the podcast so more people were reaching out and i was like okay this feels cool so he was supposed to be here but maybe in the new year and akata will be here he looks good i want to see if he's real or get those drone aliens on him so are the drones in new jersey they're gone what i mean what we know so far the drones belong to us it's our drones and they're looking for something so the two options are either they're
Starting point is 01:20:32 looking for a dirty bomb like something that's uh has to do with nuclear like so they're scanning around trying to find it um because it's a threat to us or they're out there observing the orbs which are plasmoids so it's either that there's an orb showing up and then the drone comes to look at it and interact with it or they're scanning the surface trying to look for something that is bad on the surface what's bad a dirty bomb means like a nuclear bomb that was made you know find those yeah are they gonna find it
Starting point is 01:21:08 either way the government is not saying anything so it's like either way it's bad I hate when we talk about scary things like this
Starting point is 01:21:15 and those drones look big I saw you saw them well one of my oomphies art who was at the New York Christmas show
Starting point is 01:21:22 the boys yes in the pink suits they were so cute. Yeah. The gay hiker TikToker. They were so sweet. They were like so quiet actually.
Starting point is 01:21:29 Really? Yeah. I wouldn't expect that. Yeah. They were pretty quiet. But they were very sweet. But yeah. They've been posting.
Starting point is 01:21:34 Because they're in New York too. So they've been posting the drones. And I was like, whoa, those are kind of crazy. That'd be crazy to look out your window and see one of those big old. Yeah. I was scared of everything in New York. Like walking down the street, I get a little like. I love New York. I do. This like last trip was so fun. But I do get a little scared just in general. I'm just scared of everything in new york like walking down the street i get a little like i love new york i do this like last trip was so fun but i do get a
Starting point is 01:21:47 little scared just in general i'm just like oh yeah at least no one's getting punt right no one there's no punching epidemic right all those influencers are getting punched in the face i was like oh my god a couple months ago when i had a pink hoodie on and i was like oh my god i thought about it though because remember that girl bought a house in the hamptons would you take a punch in the face for a house in the Hamptons? I 100%. That's why I think about all the time like getting confronted by like a straight guy. And if they're like, you and Trisha talking about and then they like hate crimey or something.
Starting point is 01:22:12 I was like, well, the money right there. You know what I mean? That's true. I would definitely take a punch. I guess if – oh, I don't know. I never take one. I'm scared. I don't think I would.
Starting point is 01:22:19 No, I don't think you should but I would. Yeah. Would you? Have you taken one before? Not like a – Like a like punch punch yeah like I've done like sparring and stuff I like like martial arts or like MMA classes and stuff just like a rando not like a random punch no but I think you could take one I kind of have a high paid a higher pain tolerance than I think I do I think also probably catches you off guard so you kind of don't know
Starting point is 01:22:41 you're like in shock or something true yeah yeah I guess I have a high pain tolerance too. I don't think I want to take a punch. I don't know. I definitely would. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I definitely would.
Starting point is 01:22:50 Then I'd buy a house down the street from here. Yeah, that would be everything actually. With like a co-money or something, yeah. That's my manifestation board. Straight influencer.
Starting point is 01:22:59 Well, I'd like a punch in the face. How about just get the house and put it down the street? Pasaun punching me would be fierce. Stop it. The punch in the face
Starting point is 01:23:04 was wild. It was kind of weird to be walking down the street just likean punching me would be furious. Stop it. The punching face was wild. It was kind of weird to be walking down the street just like in New York just by myself. It's like kind of like, I don't know, like, I know I'm not a child, but I felt like I could get like abducted or something like that. Oh, the zealot never wears those. And I'm like 250 pounds. Did you ever hear this when you were little? Because I did all the time, like in school, like elementary, middle school, like fat kids
Starting point is 01:23:24 are harder to kidnap. So that was like the one pro thing to being fat at least. People told me that all the time, like, in school, like, elementary, middle school, like, fat kids are harder to kidnap. So that was, like, the one pro thing to being fat, at least. People told me that all the time. They're like, well, you'll never be kidnapped because you're fat. Like, all the time. I think a teacher even told me that. I feel like so many people told me that. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 01:23:33 Because that was, like, the body positivity. That is actually wild. That was the body positivity. It was like, well, you can't get kidnapped. Nor does anyone want to take you anywhere. That's probably true. It's probably harder to live a hefty kid. Yeah. Although, it'd be easier to lure because it'd be like hey i got some 20 piss nuggets in here oh absolutely back in the day i used to get in cars with people like when
Starting point is 01:23:53 i was a kid like in my town people like oh do you want to ride home and i'd always get in cars with people like it's actually crazy that like i wasn't abducted as a child as an adult yes but as a child no but people just give me ride homes i don't't know if that's, like, normal or not, but I'm like, that's crazy. I think, like, in smaller towns, it is. They'd be like, oh, I know your mom at the post office. Like, she said to give you a ride home. Oh, but you didn't know them? No.
Starting point is 01:24:13 Oh. But I'm like, okay, well, you know she works at the post office, so I guess that's fine. And my mom would say, like, oh, yeah, I knew that person. Like, I told them if they saw you to give you a ride. I was like, okay. So I was always taking rides from strangers. And it was a small town, but that's where it happens in small towns yeah it's always those weird towns that like no one knows yeah but i was taking rides all the time not in new york i was just like running i was just like going so fast the last time i was in new york or oh my god
Starting point is 01:24:41 it was like 2018 or something one of the times um same i think that was last time i was in new york i've only been in new york for work so the last the real last time was 2019 that was to meet taylor swift which is kind of a flex i guess yeah because it was kind of similar to you i got a text like a the day before and it was like from taylor's publicist like hey are you in new york and i was like no but i could be and then i booked a flight and went oh that's the way you gotta do it before that i went for to to do something with Drag Race or something to do interviews. And I remember, I think it was the first time I was there. And then I got out of the airport and there was like a, oh, hey, come over here.
Starting point is 01:25:14 If you want to take a ride to wherever you're going. I'm an Uber. And I looked at my friend. I was like, oh, look, we can go get in that car. And then something comes overhead. Do not get into any any random cars so i feel like i was almost abducted too that was that's actually so true i never thought about that just in general yes you never really know whose car you're getting into unless you have like a
Starting point is 01:25:34 good like that's why i look at car services and i always look at like reviews especially at like jfk there's like so many cars and so many people being like i can give you a ride yeah literally i guess i would go in a car too and they were just like yeah you don't have to wait in the taxi line or whatever just hey come on over here go in a car too. And they were just like, yeah, you don't have to wait in the taxi line or whatever. Just say, come on over here. Get in this car. I was like, okay. And the person was like, wait.
Starting point is 01:25:49 They got the announcement and saved you. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I haven't gone either since like 2019. I haven't been in so long. It's like so, it's so different now. It's so cool though.
Starting point is 01:25:57 I do love New York. I can see, I could live there like temporarily. I do love LA though. When I got back to LA, I was like, I do love being in a car and the openness. But I do. I mean, I haven't been since, I remember when I was single LA though. When I got back to LA, I was like, I do love being in a car and the openness. But I do. I mean, I haven't been since. I remember when I was single being there. I feel like that's a place to be when you're single.
Starting point is 01:26:10 There's so many New York like movies and shows where it's like single girl finding herself in the big city. And that's how I felt like when I was there. I would like be walking the street. I was like, I'm a single girl in the big city. Like no one can stop me. And I was, it's always fun going to Newtown. Then you're like on the apps and like you're in demand. For sure Like, no one can stop me. And I was, it's always fun going to Newtown and then you're like on the apps
Starting point is 01:26:25 and like you're in demand. Oh, for sure that. I was really feeling that fantasy. Yeah. But now I don't know if it would have the same charm, you know. But maybe more so
Starting point is 01:26:32 because you're in love. Like I thought about that too. I was at Mosul with me because it does feel kind of also romantic at the same time. That's true. You know. Especially Christmas time.
Starting point is 01:26:38 Yeah. That's true. Something very romantic about it. Because I would eat like the best food and I'm like, God, I wish you were here. I was like eating the food and it's cute.
Starting point is 01:26:44 You see these little like shops and like little bars that people go into. Especially like the plaza had such a cute little eating area. And I always saw like couples eating there. And I was like, oh, I wish I could be me. But it was fine. But you did via FaceTime. Yes. We did our little anniversary dinner.
Starting point is 01:26:56 I know we had our anniversary and we weren't together for it. I was so sad. But yeah, I had the butter noodles and the roses and all of that. It was good. It was cute. It was cute. I loved it. I miss it. I had my I Heart New York pajamas on today.
Starting point is 01:27:09 I really was like leaning into the tourist of it all. I had my plaza thing. I got the SNL merch. I was just like buying everything that I could. I got this little New York taxi backpack. I was just loving everything. This was from Malibu. I'm like, look what I got you.
Starting point is 01:27:21 She's like, no. Okay. She's a hard one to get sometimes. Maybe it's just experience it for herself to get the vibe you know what I mean no for sure I wish she was there yeah wait your necklace was so cute what's the eight ball for oh and this company actually sent it to me and they're like it's called like Ian's charms and I followed them for a long time and they randomly messaged me like um can we send you a necklace and I was like yeah because I think like Justin Bieber has one like bieber um yeah so it's kind of everything why are they i hate that they're in the news first i love it so cute but i hate that they're in the news for um selena gomez's
Starting point is 01:27:54 engagement how annoying is it to be like oh i know they're probably so happy selena's like honestly it was like i was so happy for selena and again i know at the beginning of this year i was like a benny blanco hater i was like i don't know i was very protective over selena i was like i was so happy for selena and again i know early at the beginning of this year i was like a benny blanco hater i was like i don't know i was very protective over selena i was like he said bad things about selena before i feel like he's proven himself they're together longer than i thought how long since uh july of 2023 so pretty long time oh but like not as long as i thought to get engaged yeah i will here july of Yeah. So like a year and a half. Okay.
Starting point is 01:28:25 Yeah. I guess that's a good time. Yeah. And they're like older, right? They're in their 30s. Yeah. Yeah. And I guess they went public like later on.
Starting point is 01:28:31 Because in my head, they haven't been together. I thought maybe beginning of this year, but they didn't go public until like December 2023. So like they were kind of private for a few months. But yeah, I thought the whole thing was cute. They had like a little Taco Bell picnic and it was like on a set of some kind. He got like a backdrop like I do in my garage. He's like, let's have a picnic.
Starting point is 01:28:51 It was so cute. Yeah, it was really cute. And the ring was a Marquise cut diamond. We love a Marquise. And Selena Gomez has a song like where she – called Good For You. And it's like, I'm a Marquise diamond. I'm a Marquise diamond. I'm a Marquise Diamond. So it was like a little Easter egg.
Starting point is 01:29:07 I don't know. The whole thing was very cute. I was very happy for her. I love the Marquise Diamond trend now. Everyone was doing those circle ones with the gold band. And I love a Marquise Diamond. I think it's like so pretty.
Starting point is 01:29:15 Someone else had one too. It's the best. I was happy for her too. But then people always have to make it about like the exes. I know. And then Hailey liked, I'm like, okay,
Starting point is 01:29:22 again. What happened? Hailey liked the Instagram and people were like, oh my God, of course she would like it. But she literally, it's What happened? Hailey liked the Instagram. And people were like, oh, my God. Of course she would like it. But literally, it's like she's damned if she do damned. Like, if she doesn't like it, like, wow. She's such a hater.
Starting point is 01:29:32 They just had, like, the Bieber beef, I guess. And then they kind of had a moment where they took a photo together at an event and kind of, like, squashed the beef. But then on TikTok, people thought they were hating on each other again. So they just have this, like this rivalry for a lot of it. I'm sure there's some truth in it at some point. But I feel like they're older now and don't really care. Hailey's a mother. I don't think she's worried about Justin leaving her.
Starting point is 01:29:56 You know what I mean? I think she's good. That part of parasocial is annoying because it's like, okay, literally leave them alone. Personally, people have been so mean to her too because she's she's, like, nominated for a Golden Globe for Amelia Perez. Oh, I saw the hate. Yeah, people are, like, hating on her Spanish in the movie. I'm like, you guys. Ooh, what are your thoughts on it?
Starting point is 01:30:13 What do you think? Well, she, I haven't watched it, but I know the context of her character is she's an American who's not a native Spanish speaker. Oh, okay. So that's the whole character. She's not supposed to be, like, a fluent native speaker. I see. so that's the whole character she's not supposed to be like a fluent native speaker i see um she's supposed to be someone who is like from america and that's why it fits for her like it makes sense that she's not like speaking perfect spanish so people are taking like out of context and being like taking these clips and i'm like oh wow she's such a bad spanish speaker and like okay i think
Starting point is 01:30:41 let me clock in actually for selena marie because it actually gets me worked up now that I'm thinking about it. Because everyone's like, when are we going to stop pretending that this girl can act? I think the, listen, she's nominated for the Golden Globes for movie and a show for Only Murders in the Building and Emilia Perez. She's been nominated for Only Murders in the Building for Emmys before, Golden Globes before. Like, the acting is critically acclaimed. Like, even if she doesn't get the Oscar nomination, because it's, like, really tight this year for Best Supporting Actress. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:10 She's in. She's still going to be there. Her movie's there. She's a part of the ensemble. That's the reason why it's getting all this acclaim. If you would think that Selena Gomez can't act, then it's just not for you. Like, you are the problem.
Starting point is 01:31:19 If the critics think she's good, if, like, the fans think she's good, if, like, her, all the, Meryl Streep is, like, leading her Oscar campaign. Yeah. Her peers think she's good. If like the fans think she's good. If like her all the Meryl Streep is like leading her Oscar campaign. Yeah. Her peers think she's good. She's in a show like C. Martin and like Martin Shore. She's good. You can admit it's not for you, but the girl can act. So just shut up.
Starting point is 01:31:35 It makes me so mad. Yeah. She's like a good actress. Yeah. I guess it's like, what are they comparing? I don't know. I think people do just decide they don't like someone or they think someone should be an actress.
Starting point is 01:31:44 Like we're just going to say we we're just gonna hate on this person whatever yeah because like i feel like that would happen to you if you're like i because i could see you get like in you can have like a big like mainstream like acting break and people like she's not even good actress but i know because i've seen the trish talks i know that you're an actor you know what i mean so i'm ready for my i would have to take the same stance for you for your acting career if it does good if i, you have to be honest with me. No, either way, I would say I would stand by your performance for sure. You didn't stand by my SNL performance.
Starting point is 01:32:10 You were like the pose, the delivery. You act head to toe. Even in the Trish Talks, like head to toe. And like your face, like you emote everything. Like you can like feel the emotion like in your eyes. Oh my God, stop. It is true. I'm going to be so delusional for 2025
Starting point is 01:32:26 i'm like wow i can do anything no but like literally i was saying like if you pause when you're acting you can pause at any like frame like any time when you're on screen like in a role doesn't matter how big or small the role by the way and you're acting in the rock your face is emoting it's very like it's the same feeling I get when I see like Ariana and Cynthia and wicked when like you can literally pause any frame and they're so in character. It's the same with you when you're in character, even when you're playing yourself. I did meet with the casting company in New York that does all the Ryan Murphy
Starting point is 01:32:58 shows. I see it. Cause that show is coming. It's a Ryan Murphy special. I don't know. There's still like things, I see it. You'll be in the Luigi. Because that show is coming. If you think it will. Who would I play? It's a Ryan Murphy special. I don't know. There's still like things. Like we're still learning about him.
Starting point is 01:33:10 Okay, okay. I'll be the mom or something. But the fact that he's hot and like sexually ambiguous and, you know, morally gray. I think it's a Ryan Murphy. Morally gray. It's a Ryan Murphy special. So I could see you in that for sure. Ryan Murphy.
Starting point is 01:33:23 I'll do it. I'll be in it. I don't think I can play Luigi, but maybe sure. Ryan Murphy. I'll do it. I'll be in it. I don't think I can play Luigi, but maybe his mom or something. Yeah, his sister. I don't know. Someone in there. I'll be it. I'll be anything, honestly.
Starting point is 01:33:31 Because you only have to be Italian, and I feel like you could probably pass as Italian. I do have my Italian suit, but I'm sure I could speak a little Italian. Isn't Katy Perry going on tour in Italy? I just saw today. Oh, I have no idea. She's like, Italy, I heard you loud and clear. Tour date's coming soon. I'm like, you're doing an Italian tour?
Starting point is 01:33:44 I want to do an Italian tour. That's so cool. Do Italians even listen to music? Like, I have no idea. She's like, Italy, I heard you loud and clear. Tour date's coming soon. I'm like, you're doing an Italian tour? I want to do an Italian tour. That's so cool. That is fierce. Do Italians even listen to music? Like, that's so weird. Like, listen to pop music over there? I'm sure they do. Hilary Duff went in there in the Lizzie McGuire movie.
Starting point is 01:33:54 But yeah, but they knew Isabella, not Lizzie McGuire. Like, they only have, to me, Italians listen to Andrea Bocelli and stuff. You know what I mean? Because every time there's a wedding, it's Andrea Bocelli singing. Honestly, tea. Which I love. The road I be on. I don't know if I know much
Starting point is 01:34:09 about like Italian music. I feel like they like Lady Gaga. Isn't she Italian? I don't ever hear anybody be like, Italians love this person. You know what I mean? That's true.
Starting point is 01:34:17 Like you hear like Brazilians stan a lot of people. They love Michael Jackson. They love, I feel like they love everyone, but everyone's like come to Brazil. Yeah, Brazil is kind of
Starting point is 01:34:24 the poppin', but like Italy? Kind of like French people too. You know, I'm like, French people love me. That is so true. Germans love David Hasselhoff. They love Thich Nhat Hanh. German people? Oh, okay. Okay. Where's my country going? Maybe the Philippines or something. Oh, no. I want to do Korea.
Starting point is 01:34:40 I want to go to South Korea. I want to do K-pop. Jeremy wrote K-pop. He did a K-pop song. Wait, really? Yeah, and he's really good at it. I Jeremy write K-pop He did a K-pop song Wait really? Yeah And he's really good at it And I'm like Can you write me a K-pop song? I was trying to
Starting point is 01:34:47 I was like Korea South Korea Yeah South Korea Japan You can definitely do that Didn't they just overthrow Their dictator Was that Korea?
Starting point is 01:34:54 I think maybe North Korea They had a little coup there No I think South Korea South Korea Yeah I know how to count to 10 in Korean Oh do it Hana
Starting point is 01:35:02 Dul Set Net Asa Haha Yoko Beetle That's good Yeah I used to do it in karate Didn't you have to do it my taekwondo hana dual set net asa haha you'll go beetle that's good yeah i used to do in karate didn't you do in taekwondo yeah yeah did you hana do it you didn't count i don't think so i loved it i love i want to go to japan i want to go we were talking about that yeah that's on my vision board too i should put that on mine i forgot to put that on my vision board yeah japan would be everything especially during cherry blossom call joy gustafa do the
Starting point is 01:35:23 cherry blossom me there i'm sure do the cherry blossom. Call Joy Gustafa. Do the cherry blossom. Come meet her, I'm sure. Do the cherry blossom scene. Do you know what he did this week? He did something with a bunch of influencers. I don't know, but someone told me my hair and makeup person was like, oh,
Starting point is 01:35:31 he called me to do makeup for like all these influencers. Like maybe Tana and like. What? Yeah. He had that party that you were in, we were supposed to go,
Starting point is 01:35:39 but we're going to, I mean, we got invited, but we're going to film. And then you went, you had to go to SNL. Wait, we got,
Starting point is 01:35:44 we, as in you and me, or you and Darren got invited? You and me. Remember? No, when did we get invited but we're gonna film and then you went you had to go to snl wait we got we as in you and me or you and darren got invited you and me remember no when did we it was before um it was before trish miss live it was like our last hot topics but you already we were gonna film that day our the when before you left for new york oh patreon no the hot topics yeah yeah yeah um but. Oh, shit. But I don't know. A secret project that we don't know about. Like, my makeup person's like, oh, he asked me to have, like, a glam, like, all these influencers.
Starting point is 01:36:11 And I was like, oh, you're doing Escape the Night? I wonder what it is. Us and I are seeing her tomorrow. I guess. So I'm not invited. Never invited ever. It's fine. I'm over it.
Starting point is 01:36:18 I'm over it. Making my own lane. Rosanna was very sweet. She was like, oh, my God, congratulations on everything. Everyone's been very sweet she was like oh my god congratulations everyone's been very sweet um mr beast games one of my people i know is in the mr beast games and i saw him post like are you on that show he's like yeah i was like yeah there's people that came up to me yesterday to that two people that were in it they met like meeting me they met and they didn't know that they were both in the show that's wild and they both got eliminated at the same time they said it was as bad as it seemed but they said that it got better
Starting point is 01:36:48 in canada is that the tea i didn't hear that part i just heard like there's so much like there was just like oh it's too much to talk about right now and they're not allowed to talk until the show comes oh yeah he can't wait to talk about it this week the premiere is um i think thursday and the premiere is tomorrow. But today, when you're watching this, there's a big premiere. And I guess everyone's invited because they were like, are you going to the premiere? And she was like, yeah, are you? And he was like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:15 So I guess all 2,000 people. I think Hollywood. I was like, damn, should we go? 2,000 people? Where's it going to be? It's the Wicked premiere. What are they going to dress in? What colors?
Starting point is 01:37:24 Yeah, I know. What is the dress code for Beast Games? I don don't know that's so wild it is i can't believe it's still happening i wonder yeah i bet they've planned that like because everyone goes on hiatus around this time so they're probably like let's do it when no one's talking about it yeah you know the drama channels will dustin daily adam mackintosh someone's gonna comment it because they're i'm sure spillstache will be there i'm sure does she work non-stop like around the clock like for holidays I always see a post from her too
Starting point is 01:37:47 I see Sloan working he's on vacation still posting oh yeah yeah he's like still posting in Thailand I'm like damn they are really boots
Starting point is 01:37:54 on the ground I love it I understand that too when I was in New York I was like I gotta make sure I do this podcast like I didn't want to like miss a week
Starting point is 01:37:59 you know what I mean it's hard to do but I can't believe that Amazon is sticking through it though I guess I mean he's kind of uncancellable just because he's so big and his audience is so young that, like, they don't know what the hell is going on. So I think they'll just. I'm interested to see how well it does. Like, I don't know, because I think they're doing December because Squid Game is the next week.
Starting point is 01:38:20 I think it comes out the 26th. So I think he wants to be in the mix of Squid Game. Like a TV show, like a scripted on Netflix? Yeah. And you know, it's like very IRL Squid Game vibes. It's on Amazon? Yeah. The Squid Game is Netflix, but Beast Games is Amazon. Amazon. Interesting. It sounds really boring.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Are you going to watch it? It just sounds boring to me. No. You're not? No. I guess we'll see clips on TikTok if there's anything. I think too like even, again, take out Jimmy's, you you know morally gray this aside um the concept of a show of 2 000 people like even with like squid games and netflix like reality show you can't get invested in any like contestant because there's too many people yeah so fast yeah i tried to watch the first episode. I couldn't finish it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that was like what?
Starting point is 01:39:05 Like 150 or something? So imagine 2,000. Like how can you get invested in anyone's journey? And like the whole point is you want to root for someone. Right. You know? Yeah. You want to get to know the characters.
Starting point is 01:39:15 Yeah. You want to hate someone. You want to love someone. How can you do that with 2,000 people? Maybe he'll prove me wrong. I don't know. Probably Mr. Beast is the villain. You just hate him.
Starting point is 01:39:21 Honestly, yeah. Is he hosting it? So he's hosting it. I think he's the host. Yeah. He's like on screen with them. Because I remember in the still, when Ros hate him. Honestly, yeah. Is he hosting it? So he's hosting it. I think he's the host, yeah. He's on screen with them. Because I remember in the still, when Rosanna was really covering Beast Games, he was in the middle of the arena or stadium or whatever announcing things.
Starting point is 01:39:33 So I would imagine. And he loves himself, so I think he wants to be on camera as much as possible. All right, Jimmy. Well, I'm not watching it, but good luck. Maybe we'll see some clips. I'm sure we'll see something. Prediction for 2025 for Mr. Beast is he disappears. disappears i don't know i can't see him just i feel like you don't think i don't think he'll disappear but maybe something with a chalk like maybe a chocolate lawsuit or
Starting point is 01:39:55 something i don't know yeah the aliens will get him honestly that's probably more likely and he'll probably willingly go because he'll think he's the first at it you know who i'm the first person with the aliens or something so we'll probably trick them to be like that's our president this is a person you should talk to and then they then they kidnap him and you know but he's gonna willingly go i don't even think they have to kidnap i think he'll willingly go because he does have that ego and he wants to be a president so yeah the public you can be the president of our people and he'll be like all right i'm going but he wouldn't know he was just a test dummy to see what they'll do. I mean, he'll be safe, of course.
Starting point is 01:40:29 When I say disappear, he'll be safe, of course. He'll get fed. But he'll just be in a different unit. Nothing wrong with that. It'll be someone else's problem. Yeah, exactly. You did have another successful takedown, though, of a big high profile. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:40:43 Yeah. I'm not my intention. I'm so sorry. I feel like i just want to i just want to drift by i feel like i don't need to cause a ruckus anymore what did i do what is it well you did cause beef with elmo you did call elmo out for his problematic fat shaming take on cookie monster and now sesame street isn't doesn't have a home right now it didn't get picked up by hbo so it doesn't have a network
Starting point is 01:41:05 so air fat shaming after that yeah after you called out the fat shaming of elbow i think you're kind of involved wow that power is your manifestation power is a little too real i know i gotta be so careful with what i say yeah everything because it um it previously was on hbo slash like max um but they didn't pick it they already filmed the season two was the gag like they filmed this current season for the next year but it's just not getting picked up so they have all these episodes but nowhere to like air them and yeah apparently um it does it it's like they uh sesame street had like a lot of financial problems too because i didn't know this but but they're a nonprofit organization.
Starting point is 01:41:46 So they don't pay, like, taxes. And they receive grants. And then also make a lot of money from the merchandising. But doing the production in New York made them spend a lot of money. And the show has an estimated $100 million in operating costs since they moved to HBO in 2015. So they just aren't making a ton of money. Yeah. It sounds like the biggest scam.
Starting point is 01:42:08 I know. When they say that you get grants and it's like tax exemptions. I'm like, what is Elmo up to? It's suspicious. It's like Mr. Beast vibes. Because their merch is everywhere. Yeah. So where's that money go?
Starting point is 01:42:19 Who gets the money? That's a good question. I think that I heard those puppets party hard. They're blowing through. Do they get paid, you think? That's a good question I think I heard those puppets party hard They're blowing through Do they get paid you think? That's a good question People get paid So what does that mean non-profit? Who's the non-profit?
Starting point is 01:42:33 There's no Disney corporation that swallows all the money Everything gets distributed somewhere To somebody That's so weird I don't get it I'm confused by it It's a scam Allegedly In his opinion In Musk's opinion that's so weird i don't get it i'm confused by it yeah it's a scam allegedly in his opinion in most opinion yeah and it's crazy though because you would think with like
Starting point is 01:42:53 getting the tax breaks and everything they would be like you know and the merchandising like profiting but somehow they are spending more money than they are making um that's and they have they have a whole season that they don't know where to air and it's all happened after i mean it's a good show there's one elmo there's one puppet like it's not like they're making new golden puppets every day like what what are they spending all 100 million on especially those tickle me almost those probably made a billion dollars back in the day where'd that go that's true like we need to really like trace the finance who's the CEO of Sesame Street like oh wow
Starting point is 01:43:27 does that what happens I think Oscar the Grouch has something to do with oh my god we should be Sesame Street characters you should be stop
Starting point is 01:43:39 I'm out of touch with everything that's happening right now I love it it's so funny. You should dress as Sesame Street. You could be Oscar the Grouch. Yeah, I would love.
Starting point is 01:43:48 Who would I be? Oh, you can be The Rock. The Rock that Elmo hates. The Rock? Or Abby. Isn't Abby the pink one? What? Who are those characters?
Starting point is 01:43:58 You haven't seen... Isn't Abby the pink one with the pigtails? Oh, okay. Oh, she's pink? Done. Okay, I love that. She's pink and she has little pigtails. Never heard of her, but I love it.
Starting point is 01:44:04 I think her name is... I could definitely be wrong. Abby wrong i thought her name was abby but human or just like a person but i mean she's supposed to you know there's a bird and there's you know animals oh well she's like elmo so is elmo supposed to be a person he's just a muppet i think okay but it's a big bird a bird yeah t and like and there's ducks like rubber ducky so she's just a puppet she's like an elmo looking one yeah who's moses i don't know i don't know anything about me either i was like muppets are the muppets in the world of i have no idea that no they're not okay so just puppet not a muppet did i say muppet because i haven't watched the current one.
Starting point is 01:44:45 I don't know. I don't know anyone. I don't want to be in that world. Cookie Monster? Oh, yeah. Malibu loves the Cookie Monster. Oh, does she really? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:52 She loves the Cookie Monster. She'll be good. I make her laugh all the time. Because when he walks like, do-do-do-do-do-do. I do that and she laughs so hard. She's like, cookies. And then I eat the Cookie Monster. She loves that.
Starting point is 01:45:01 Yeah. Cookie Monster. What's going to happen when she finds out you guys canceled Sesame Street? Oh my God. That Sesame Street's not there. She writes a towel. That's how she brushes her teeth every day. Really?
Starting point is 01:45:11 With the Elmo Brush Your Teeth song. What is it? You brush your teeth. Brush your brush. Brush your brush. Brush. She put it on Alexa herself. Alexa, play Elmo Brush Your Teeth.
Starting point is 01:45:18 Really? Yeah. She's so smart. I was like, okay. Alexa loves that song too. And she loves the Brush Your Teeth song. Brush your teeth. Yeah. Oh, shoot. We did cancel Elmo when she loves it. I know. I was like, wait's listen to her too and she loves the brushy song brush your teeth yeah oh shoot we did cancel i'm on i know i was like wait this is yeah keep brush your teeth song on
Starting point is 01:45:30 there please because she's thinking on spotify oh my god that's so sad i know i i have you know sometimes i have inklings about people i think that's true you are like really early too on the your intuition is crazy yeah i was i was like, there's something a little off here. And then that crypto scam. The crypto thing was nuts. Also, I just love her exit where she's just like, I'm not going to talk about it. She's like, actually, I got to go to bed. Yeah, she was on like a Twitter space.
Starting point is 01:45:56 And they were like going back and forth about the crypto coin. And she's like, sorry to interrupt y'all, but I'm tired. I got to go. And she just like hung up. She left. And he was like, wait. I'm going to go to sleep now. What happened?
Starting point is 01:46:08 That's so wild. And is she gonna just come back like normal? Just keep doing a podcast? I think so. I mean, again, I am empathetic in a way because I know that people are just telling her like, and she has no idea what's going on. And she's like, that sounds like a good idea. You know, it's like, it's just doing it.
Starting point is 01:46:23 But also it's like, ignorance is not an excuse for everything idea you know it's like it's just doing it but also it's like it's ignorance is not an excuse for everything you know especially when people's money is involved when you're asking for people's money and like investments it's wild and to not say anything about it is actually crazy but i guess people like you said people don't care maybe i don't know i'd be pissed i have me too but also i'm sorry again to victim blame, but I am a little judgy. Anyone who's buying the Hak Tua coin or whatever, I'm like, how could that possibly end well? I don't know. What?
Starting point is 01:46:53 You have that much faith in Hak Tua? I think we live in a country just a lot of people don't know. If you understand the idea of a meme coin, it's about community. So they create a community and they support each other and they raise the project together up but usually the person that makes the community is not the one that's supposed to rug that's what rug pull like they're the one that steal the money instead of like they're the head of the communities it's like it's your leader that's the one that destroys the community because there have been a lot of those that
Starting point is 01:47:23 happened in the past but the community picked it up and kept going. But in this case, it's just so, and it was so blatant, too. So it's bad. I feel like we could have seen it from a mile away, though. The second it's like, oh, she's going to do a little coin, I was like, well, everything about the Hawk Tool brand, again, not against Hailey, it's just like the machine behind her. The men behind her, for sure.
Starting point is 01:47:43 Everything about the brand is like how to get as much money out of her while we can. Yeah, it feels a little icky. It always was questionable. And then this happened. I was just like, yuck. Yeah. I hate all of it. And then it's not.
Starting point is 01:47:55 She seems very sweet. But it's just like the men around her. I'm like, what is going on? None of it seems good. She always has the opportunity to fix it and to fire the certain people to explain what happened. Just be truthful. But she doesn't seem like knowledgeable or capable of it. I mean, she said, too, that like this whole influencer world is like so new.
Starting point is 01:48:16 I feel like she's literally figuring things out. Not even day by day. I think it's like minute by minute. Yeah. Like what's happening. Yeah. But that's a bad one to be involved in. Like when you scam people out of money,
Starting point is 01:48:25 that's, like, really bad. Yeah. Gotta get that money back somehow. Mm-hmm. But I wish her the best. We really do, honestly. Talk to a podcast.
Starting point is 01:48:33 Get all the girlies on there. Holly was on and I saw Tiana was on. Like, everyone's on there, podcast. Wow. Yikes. I heard them be like,
Starting point is 01:48:40 we don't even really like doing the guest. Like, we kind of just want to be by ourselves. Is that what they said? Yeah. I'm like, we kind of just want to be by ourselves. Is that what they said? Yeah. Okay. That's wild to say that.
Starting point is 01:48:49 We're not really good interviewers. I feel like we'd be good by ourselves. I guess I like the awareness because the interviews are rough. They're very rough. It's very much like Hawk to a dozen to Hawk. Haley, she doesn't ever. Her friends ask all the questions. It's very rough to watch.
Starting point is 01:49:05 But, you know, podcasting isn't for everybody. Not everyone can be so quick with the words and fast-paced. It's something fierce. I don't even know how to make a Hawktua prediction for 2025. Because think about beginning of 20 or end of 2023. Could we ever have predicted Hawktua in the first place? No, never. Did she just come this year? Yeah. Wow. beginning of 20 or end of 2023 could we ever have predicted the hawk two in the first place no never so she just come this year yeah wow so my prediction is i don't even know how to like
Starting point is 01:49:34 wrap my brain around she's just a conundrum i think just because it's like gonna she's gonna date a really big celebrity well she's dating poookie right now. You think she's going to break up with Pookie? Pookie and her are going to make it. They're going to go for the long haul. I think that engagement and a child is coming out of the way. I think her and Pookie are going to break up and she's going to start dating Jake Paul. And Jake Paul
Starting point is 01:49:58 will want to have a baby to be like his brother and they'll have a kid together. Okay, that's fierce. No, I have nothing behind any of these. My predictions are always bad. That's when I'm good at manifesting myself. Yeah, other people. Yes, that I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:50:14 But, you know, we love and, you know, she's a girl and hopefully she finds her footing and someone's helping her somewhere. I know. And hopefully she gives a better explanation than just like, she's tired, gotta go to bed and can't answer this. I probably would do the same thing if I didn't know what i was talking about probably like you know i'm tired it's like what can you even say i do i do feel for her in a sense where it's like you literally have no idea what's going on you just have all these people telling you you know
Starting point is 01:50:34 what what to do and like putting your name on things but yeah you got to be careful with it you can't just put your name on things willy-nilly hawk to uh and another big breakup this year that you kind of also saw coming i think was the plan brie grace on malley and brianna chicken fry yeah breakup the breakup is sad it is sad i didn't feel bad about it there's so many layers and levels to it it's like uh the whole thing is like kind of sad and i feel like it's one of those stories that's going to develop and we'll slowly get more and more like information because right now it is very she said, she said, she said, really. Yeah. Because you kind of have them both like pointing fingers at each other a little bit.
Starting point is 01:51:14 I think Brianna kind of went really in on like, you know, Grace was the one responsible. She wasn't there for me and everything's kind of hurtful. Awful. I've read everyone on TikTok saying the biggest PR fumble of the century. Like everybody was just like, oh my God, poor Brie, poor Brie. But then to do the exact same thing that Zach Bryan did to her to Grace
Starting point is 01:51:32 is wild to watch because the biggest thing, and I hate when people do this in general, is when they'd be like, she said it, Zach would be like, I gave you this. I did this for you.
Starting point is 01:51:41 You should do this. And then she did the same thing to Grace. She's like, well, I gave Grace her career. I gave Grace the follower. I was like, I hate when people do that and like hold it over your head. And she did the exact same thing. I hate the dog piling on Grace. You know, this isn't even because I don't really like Barstool. You guys know I have a little soft spot for Dave and even Bree, who I was coming around to. But the dog piling on Grace was actually wild. Like everyone unfollowing her, Dave being like, well, if Grace never posted those
Starting point is 01:52:01 stories, it's like, well, she said Plan Breeze continuing and she didn't know what was happening. So she posted the stories. They weren't even that crazy. But for everyone to like pile on Grace and be like, well, Grace started this and Grace did that and she knows she was doing with those posts. So it's like, I hate that. I think it's like bullying. And Brianna is just a mean girl.
Starting point is 01:52:16 She is this mean girl. Like she always has been. And she always like, I don't know, she always will be. I don't know what, how do you grow out of it? I don't know if she's just really insecure or what, but she's just so mean all the time. But I think also when you're a perpetual victim, and I've been victim so many times. I'm always like, oh, I'm a victim. I'm a victim. And it's like, I think when you're just like that in your head, like you think you do no wrong and everyone else is doing wrong around you, but it's actually crazy. And we get it. You
Starting point is 01:52:39 came out of a relationship, but it's also like, just because you got out of a relationship doesn't mean you could be an asshole to somebody, you know? know it's sad it's the whole thing's sad yeah and i think the like the big thing that brianna said was like you know when i was going she knew what i was going through like with the zach brian relationship and she like wasn't my friend through it but it's like damn it's like even if that's your friend like if it's also like her like if it hurts her mental health to like you know have to deal with zach or like watch you deal with zach you can't really blame her for like having to separate yourself like you already knew how she felt about the relationship so he like yelled at her at the campfire made her cry like in what world is it like yeah that to me was so wild it's like yeah
Starting point is 01:53:19 you don't just stick around because just because you're being treated like doesn't mean i want to be treated by your person there's only so much you can do when you have a friend that's in that like at some point you have to like look out for yourself like as much as you love someone you still have to like protect yourself in your own peace i don't really fault grace for that and brianna even was like oh yeah i was like dumb everyone kept telling me it's like okay so like you didn't want to help yourself but like everybody else is you know going through it too it's just like sad because they have been friends i saw a video of them from when they were like teenagers 15 years lifelong friends over like what you know what i mean and it's like probably all sad but i guess the whole podcast ending like
Starting point is 01:53:55 the plan brie it's like i don't know did brianna start that her by herself or did she start it with grace i don't remember i feel like it was like originally like Brianna's deal. And then she like folded Grace in is my memory of it. But also, I don't really go here. Like, I'm not really that involved. Like the Barstool girls, I kind of learn everything secondhand. But Grace was also did like a little she did a stand up show. And she kind of referred to the drama. She said, Sorry, if I'm'm not myself tonight i'm going through a divorce it's a very common type of divorce with only a few minor differences for example it's not a marriage it was a 15-year friendship she's not keeping the house she's keeping the podcast and when it came to the kids we took a very progressive approach instead of doing shared custody we're letting the kids decide who they want to go with kind of referring to everyone from the crew choosing like brianna over grace but i guess they go with brianna because they think she's more of like a household name so everyone kind
Starting point is 01:54:48 of just like goes with her which makes you feel bad for grace because she has like she doesn't have the upper hand in this situation yeah it is it's just sad to see like i don't know i i feel like it happens a lot with like friends who do podcasts that are like about their own personal lives i think too it's kind of a trend because there aren't like friends that like childhood friends of like that length for us i feel like it's like we both are just so to ourselves anyway that we get here and it's like such a key you know we're older we're like more normal we don't really care we don't care at all it's not that deep we don't do personal stories we just like to gossip and have fun and we're both like come from like a professional world so it's just very that i think yeah starting a podcast with like a friend or even like i said like a relation like a boyfriend or something it's just like to gossip and have fun. And we're both like come from like a professional world. So it's just very that. I think, yeah, starting a podcast with like a friend or even like I said, like a relationship,
Starting point is 01:55:26 like a boyfriend or something. It's just like it gets too personal, especially when you talk. And then, yeah, it's hard. It's a hard thing because at the end of the day, when there's two podcast hosts, if one person is just over it, you can't force the person to stay. You know what I mean? Which is like kind of hard, you know? It does suck.
Starting point is 01:55:40 I think Grace has enough fans though now that are going to like support if she does. Yeah, people love like a good underdog story. I feel like she's gone through it a lot like the past few months too with like, you know, the whole story about like the essay and stuff. Like I think people have really clocked in and supported her, which is good. Brianna's like what we see in the public has not been a good friend like at all. Like the way she acts and they're like, oh, that should mean Grace's relationship. But like from the outside, we're like, girl, I think maybe you're the toxic one in this friendship.
Starting point is 01:56:04 I know. And I feel like I feel bad because i was like really coming around to her too and i was like i've everything she's been through and stuff i was like it was like the girl power like moment yeah and i was like so on board with like the redemption arc and everything and it's like this all makes sense like i was really rooting for it but i was like damn i really feel for grace i really do especially like you said, the dog piling everyone and following her. The unfollow speaks volumes.
Starting point is 01:56:27 You could have just muted the girl. I know. You could have just unfollowed her. The unfollow is wild while you're in the heiress tour with Brianna. And then for Dave to like also be like, oh, we probably should have had Grace here.
Starting point is 01:56:35 Yeah, you probably should have. Don't just like do this one side. Yeah, that's like not cool. Not whatever. He seems not profile. Bang it. Wow. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:56:44 They brought so much banging buns. Oh my gosh. We might have to take like- I know we're like almost done with this episode, but I really do want to eat all these chickens. No, me too. Yeah, I'm like starving. Wow, are these it? Should we start the Patreon and eat it?
Starting point is 01:56:54 Yeah, we should start the Patreon. Let's just show it on here though, on the main one. Wow. Wow, it's so cute. Oh. Oh, these have no food in it. Oh. Oh, there's the merch from the show.
Starting point is 01:57:05 Yeah. Trisha Paytas banging. Oh, my God. This looks so good. So this is like little prop ones. Do they bring food, though? I was like, yay. Okay, you guys.
Starting point is 01:57:15 Get the banging buns box at North Hollywood location. Ask for the Trisha Paytas banging buns. I'll do a little like phone thing with it. That looks, I'm so excited to eat this. All right. We're going to go to our Patreon at patreon.com slash justtrish if you guys want to check out us eating these
Starting point is 01:57:29 banging buns. And we have a lot of extra stories over there today. We have extra stories, yeah. A lot over there today. And Isla's coming soon. Isla's coming. But we should do, we're going to do one more hot topic after. Yeah. Okay, so I'll do the Isla introduction. Yeah. Okay, so we're going to go eat this banging buns now. We're back.
Starting point is 01:57:45 We had to take a little pause in the action to eat some Bang and Buns. It was so good. And we had chocolate. And it was just like, God, I love Christmas time. I know. If our vibe is a little different, it's because we are so freaking full now. We're happier now. I know.
Starting point is 01:57:59 I was so hungry before. That's true. You were kind of going in on Brie. Yeah. We'll see. Love and light. Love and light. Dave and Brie. Just date already. Just were kind of going in on Brianna. Yeah. Love and light. Love and light. Dave and Bri. Just date already.
Starting point is 01:58:07 Just date. It'd be so much easier. Dave needs to step down as CEO of Barstool because obviously he's not, he can't be not biased because you have like fired someone over like a Brianna comment for like 35 seconds. Step down. Date Bri. You guys will be happy ever after. She'll be happy. Interesting. Yeah. That's it. That's the
Starting point is 01:58:23 solution. Figured out all I needed was some food. She was did a little blow. The meanest thing she did was when she was talking to Grace and how she's like, Grace has never had a boyfriend. I was thinking about that too. I think I've just been Grace so many times
Starting point is 01:58:35 that it's hard for me. It's like, to think about the other perspective. I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle, right? But I just, I've been in Grace's position where like, you were the one that, you're like the underdog, not really appreciated fully, you know, and think that you can just be fine without them.
Starting point is 01:58:51 You can move on up. Yeah. But I've been that girl too often. So I have to stand with her. I think that's what everyone does. And it's just, like, Brianna's track record has just been mean girl. And you think, like, sometimes, you know, when you get humbled, like, the Zach – obviously, like, she obviously was a victim. It was very awful. But, like, you know, you get this sort of, like, reality check and you're like, damn, I really get humbled like the zach bryant obviously like she obviously was a victim it was very awful but like you know you get you get this sort of
Starting point is 01:59:07 like reality check and you're like damn i really what she even says like i was really out of it like whatever then you think okay you have to learn those lessons you kind of appreciate the people around you more but then just to be because all really what did grace really do she just made those posts said she was blindsided though same way brianna said she was blindsided by zach yeah and you know i mean grace's stories were that crazy. I mean. I didn't think so either. I think it did make people be like, oh, like, that's, like, a bad look on Brianna.
Starting point is 01:59:31 But it wasn't anything like, I feel like it's worse for Brianna now, right? Because now I feel like people are more like, wait. Especially because Brianna just, like, went in on her for these stories. And Dave, like, she unposted those stories. Like, it wasn't that bad. She was just kind of like, damn, guys, this sucks. First side of the story, yeah. Yeah, she's like, this kind of sucks. I thought we were going to, like, announce it together. Like, I don't know. And ited the story. It wasn't that bad. She was just kind of like, damn, guys, this sucks. First side of the story, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:45 She's like, this kind of sucks. I thought we were going to, like, announce it together. Like, I don't know. And it probably does suck. You have a successful podcast. And it does suck when the one person is just like, I'm just done with it. And you're like, okay, but what about me? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:54 It does suck. It's all awful. Anyways. Wish Brianna luck. Maybe she should. I don't know. She seems happy in a relationship. She seems to, like, be that.
Starting point is 02:00:02 So I don't know. Maybe she'll leave Grace alone. Yeah. You know? Yeah. But it's sad when you're friends for that long. Yeah. 15 years.
Starting point is 02:00:11 I'm sure there's more stuff on the scenes. Oh, the other thing too really quick was like allegedly Brianna like replying to DMs. People saying like – because she was like, I'm a good person. Like I won't say anything about Grace. But then she's like replying to fans being like, you don't know the whole story. You don't know what she did. There's a reason why everyone unfollowed her she's nasty and I'm like wait there's like five girls there's like five girls that came forward with these DMs and I'm like well if that's the case that you can't be like I haven't said anything about her
Starting point is 02:00:39 because I'm a good person but then being in the weeds in the trenches no when people okay and this is a general statement not just about Brianna, but people who reply to fans like that, like you're such a loser. Like you're talking to fans. Do you know what I mean? Like what? Like it gives Colleen vibes where she's like talking to fans about her divorce. I'm like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 02:00:59 Like why are you telling these people who like like you and idolize you and all this stuff like that? Like why are you trauma dumping? Why are you trying to like get them on your side and manipulate them like they're just like leave them alone they're like fans of you and stuff they just want to like i don't know what the message was to her but it's probably like oh like maybe it was something like oh team grace or something but you know you just don't reply it's like so easy to like not reply to those things not reply it was along those lines it was like um people being like girl just apologize to
Starting point is 02:01:22 grace blah blah blah yeah so just ignore it like if people don't know all the sides of the story you really don't have to share everything so many steps to go into that folder you know what i mean it's like you have to go through like three steps to get into that folder of just like random replies so right yeah just don't go there the most random there's replying to like all their dms i'm like you are such a loser like you're so especially bringing someone else down. It's one thing if you just want to chat with your fans. Positivity.
Starting point is 02:01:47 Yeah. But just to be like. She's nasty. And she's like. Okay. It's giving. I can honestly say. I've never done that.
Starting point is 02:01:55 To just like. Random. Like person with like 30 followers. That just like likes me. And I'm just like talking. Like. Even if I like hate people. And I want to go on rants.
Starting point is 02:02:02 Like I've never done that. Like just. Like I don't know. Just say it out loud loud just say it with your chest like that's such a weird thing to do i know it makes me sad because i i guess i'm just not maybe i'm naive maybe i don't know i was like really trying to like get behind brianna and like i don't know i saw everything she went through and i was like like you were saying when she was going through all like the controversies before like damn she must be going through something. But now you're kind of out of it.
Starting point is 02:02:27 I mean you're still reeling from it obviously. But you're getting all the love now. And then to go backwards and be like actually F my best friend of 15 years. And do like a tell all and be like I had everyone unfollow and Dave and not inviting her on for her side of the story. You know, like it's just like that's just mean. And also at the end of the day, you are dogpiling on someone. Like if we had a breakup and all of a sudden I'm just like attacking you and I'm like everyone's unfollowing Oscar and like Jimmy and everyone just unfollows you and be like yeah we're all gonna like just ignore him and be like oh my god something's wrong with him like it's weird because no matter what
Starting point is 02:02:53 not to say like you're the underdog or anything that but it's like if I have an upper hand of like followers and I've been around longer it's just like it's bullying to be like oh this it's happened to me I mean I've been on the end too where I'm not as popular. You know? It's been. It's happened multiple times. When I left the vlog squad, it was a big one. I've just attacked. And it's happened so many times. And whatever.
Starting point is 02:03:13 It's fine. But it's not. It's not fine. It's actually dramatic. It's actually dramatic. And bullying and mean. Those are high school bullies. I mean, I get it.
Starting point is 02:03:24 Gabby Hanna hits so many times because they are people are so mean and like for brianna to do that it's like okay already already you did take away the podcast in a way whether and my heart says probably brianna did start if the name is being free i'd have a feeling she probably started it like we were saying and brought grace on board so maybe it is hers to like say what to do with at the same time you like have this person you do have some sort of responsibility to to like be like, okay, is this what we're doing? Whatever. But –
Starting point is 02:03:49 Because it did become a big part of her. It's like – They went on tour together. Yeah. No. It becomes a really thing. It's so hard. Those things are – those are really hard.
Starting point is 02:03:57 And then when you're friends on top of it. More also, I don't have friends. Honestly, yeah. I love not having friends because it's like so not drama. I get my soul shower with you Jimmy glam like everyone I work with it's perfect and it's that it's just that then it's just like great we let's see each other it's wonderful and I feel like this is like a normal
Starting point is 02:04:12 I don't know maybe we're crazy this is like a normal adult right because like the people I talk like I'm friends with that I say I'm friends with and stuff like are people I work with because like I'm just around them a lot we like commiserate we like you do go through all the ups and downs of life together because like so much of my life is work yeah and then then you have a relationship
Starting point is 02:04:31 and then I'm like I get like my friend meters good like love life everything is like good I don't know but then some people are like oh guys I feel like you and Tana got that a lot like last year like they're not real friends they're just like work friends but I'm like all our friends are work friends to me that is like the realest friend you can have i love it and it is it's kind of it is like that but it's not like i'm not gonna i wouldn't do a podcast or like be around someone i didn't like so it's like i like those work friendships and i've had real friendships that ended up being awful you know like shane or any of those people and i'm like these these suck actually so i know and still even though like technically work friends but then anytime something big happens you're the first person i tell i mean that's kind of like the real
Starting point is 02:05:07 same no same like yesterday too i was like okay who do i want back there it's like you and tan it's like that those are my friends those are the people that i like i choose to be around otherwise i want to do podcasts with you guys see i'm glad we're like i feel like i think we're the normal ones to be honest everyone else is having these fallouts and dramas. Because it is a lot. It is murky. Because I do think you owe something to someone, too, when you're, like, best friends. Since, like, before Brie was famous, all this stuff like that. Because there's such a, like, a loyalty.
Starting point is 02:05:33 It's like my sister or, like, anybody. It's like there's no way I would ever be like, oh, Callie, I've given you your audience. I've given you so much. Because, like, we've just been in each other's lives. Like, she's just been there from the beginning. So it's such a weird thing to be like that to someone that you just in general but also someone you've known like a sister since you were a kid it's like kind of like a weird ugly thing to say and someone who's also in a way kind of a victim of your boyfriend too you know like obviously not the same effect
Starting point is 02:05:56 but she still was like yelled at by him for sure enough that she was like i don't want to be around and that happens to so many people but yeah it's like i would never throw my sister under the bus and we've like we fight all the time we not all the time but we fight a lot and like or we have big fights and i never like would take it to the internet because it's just like so yeah and i think too with grace i'm like a little bit extra protective because i know what it's like when you are like the bigger girl too and like obviously grace is like beautiful but i feel like she makes everything to be like the funnier one like and like because every time you're the bigger one in their friendship it's like you have to be the funny one you know oh totally and like you are just taken not as serious when you are that girl you know
Starting point is 02:06:32 like you like when it comes to like opportunities and stuff you get like if they don't go to brianna then she'll get the leftovers or whatever you know and to have to go through that and then have like your the friend the girl was supposed to be on your side like not be on your side you know that's like it sucks it really does my bet is brianna was definitely making fun of my body that's why when i saw her co-host i was like wait you were told she like fasciated me during the only fans thing or whatever like that like just being like how disgusting my body is meanwhile obviously like when i saw her when i saw when i saw grace and her being friends with her i was like that's so mean girl and i was like you're making fun of someone's body and meanwhile like you have someone that isn't like a size zero either it's like so weird like how does Grace stand by that because I'm
Starting point is 02:07:10 sorry if someone's mean to a fat person being a fat person myself I'm instantly like judging you I'm like you're not a good person because to me that's like the most lowest hanging fruit there's a lot of low hanging fruit obviously like someone's race and sexuality and all stuff like that but like also weight is just such low hanging fruit and if I'm someone who's bigger and like they fat shame somebody I think that's like literally the most rotten person so I always like question Grace I was always kind of like not questioning her but I was just like damn you're really standing by this girl but like seeing it all like she probably didn't know maybe this girl's like two-faced or whatever like that I hate it so much because she is nasty she's been nasty about people's appearances Brianna and it's
Starting point is 02:07:42 like it sucks because I was I actually dm'd her and i was like girl i'm so sorry but i think two things can be true i think you can really feel bad for what happened with the zach bryan and i think she was going through it maybe she still is maybe she's having some like aftermath trauma which could very it's happened to me yeah because there's a lot of life changes at once yeah because i just i don't want to again i could totally be in the wrong because i don't like fully go here but i have trouble writing off brianna like completely yeah i really maybe it's the holiday days but i'm like i feel like she's gonna come around it's so many life changes it's like the boyfriend career like dave is leaving like you're moving and then all of a sudden you have more eyes on you and then your friendship and then your own podcast and you're starting another pot it's so many life changes that maybe is some kind of like you know
Starting point is 02:08:29 it's just like she's not fully being like she's not taking in all sides of everything you know she's kind of looking for someone to point fingers at and it's easy to point fingers at the person who's been by your side for 15 years i i a little bit of benefit of the doubt i guess because i just have i i want to like her I really want to like her but that's seriously why I call her out because I do think like I've said so many times about my own career is like when people like call you out like after a while it does seep through where it's like maybe I'm doing something maybe I'm the problem yeah like you do realize that you're like wait because even if it's like not your intention maybe she thinks she's like
Starting point is 02:08:59 doing the right thing or she's saying the right things but it's like girl no everyone is coming down on you and be like this is, this is not the way to go. I think that's the only way they kind of like get it, you know, especially when you're so high. Tough love in a way. Yeah, I think so. I'm like appreciative to so many call outs because I'm like, you know what, maybe I need to rethink. Even if I wasn't always the problem, I was like, let me rethink my approach.
Starting point is 02:09:17 What am I doing that people aren't understanding how I feel and like what I'm doing? You know what I mean? And it's so much better. Whatever. I think there is hope for her. I think so. I'm really, really for her. People like her.
Starting point is 02:09:27 People want to like her. And obviously she's funny and she's successful and pretty and all that stuff like that. So I want to like her too. I think Grace is on a really good spot right now. I think she should pivot and just like start her – she should go with Grace Helbig called like Saving Grace. Saving Grace. Saving Grace. Is that one? Is that a podcast? Probably. It's going to be Saving Grace with Grace and Grace. Right. should go with grace how big it's called like saving grace saving graces saving grace is that
Starting point is 02:09:45 one is that a podcast probably it's like saving grace with grace and grace grace and grace grace and gracie you can be on there oh my god my second podcast so good it's like frank and gracie is that a show yeah yeah you could be Grace and Gracie Grace Under Fire honestly would be kind of fierce yeah similar okay done
Starting point is 02:10:11 done done it's happening get the post on Fridays it's the only day we don't have days filled got Nut Love Line Monday Just Trish Tuesday
Starting point is 02:10:18 podcast Prite Char on Wednesday Just Trish Thursday so then Friday's the only open day then Patreon against or yeah. Sunday and Friday.
Starting point is 02:10:27 But Sunday is your vlog day. Oh my God. You're right. Friday is the one day. Good luck to Brianna and Grace. Honestly. Yeah. Rooting for both of them.
Starting point is 02:10:36 And I'm hoping somewhere along the lines, their friendship men's or something, you know, the real, the comeback. Well, maybe not. I guess.
Starting point is 02:10:44 I don't know. Sometimes you got to just like cut your losses. Either way. Whatever. Not my life. Yeah, not my life. Whatever is healthy for you. Okay, well, I guess we're like running class close out of time.
Starting point is 02:10:57 Oh, yeah. I just talk about very quickly because I just feel like talking about this thing, like I don't want drama. And then it's like, let me talk about this. So it would be crazy drama. Someone asked me at my live show yesterday this question. I answered it. clipped I was like let me just talk about it it's not that I haven't been avoiding it I just know talking about it creates more drama so me being like I didn't want the drama so me talking about it creates more drama but it's been talked about Adam's talked about it and everyone people
Starting point is 02:11:18 people speculate and I just thought I would talk about it um and not to go into 2025 because literally all the comments are always like, where is the Jeffrey episode? It's kind of like camp at this point now. It's kind of like the rainbow Birkin. It's kind of just like the comment we get, kind of like Moses, where are the cats? Like it just becomes a thing at this point and we'll just – what if we just kept teasing it? Like, is Jeffrey episode coming next week?
Starting point is 02:11:37 But no, it's really not that deep, not that serious. I've actually like talked to Jeffrey. Like Jeffrey is like, if you don't want to post the video – like it was a while ago or whatever. And he's like, if you don't want to post it, like I understand. Lots, lots of like reasons went into this. What I realized doing the podcast is obviously our beef or whatever is so minor compared to things we talked about Dramageddon. And to us, it was just a fun little key. Like to me, it was like so almost like silly. It was because we're not involved with it. I was like, oh, this is actually so silly. There is a lot of like darkness to it before even the Jeffrey, Jeffrey of it all got involved.
Starting point is 02:12:09 But then Jeffrey was here and I realized like it's not a cute key for him or like other people involved. Like there's a lot of like, I won't even say bad feelings. I think there's just a lot of unresolved feelings between everybody. So much miss, I don't want to say miscommunication, but just there's just a lot of unresolved feelings between everybody. So much miss, I don't want to say miscommunication, but just, there's just a lot happening there. And it's like, and while he was here, he's like, I don't, I'm so tired of talking about this, but he was like, I'll talk about it because you asked. So then I kind of felt bad. And I feel that I feel it in a way where it's like,
Starting point is 02:12:37 oh, I don't want to talk about things, but when people bring it up and Jeffrey's very much like, I'll talk about whatever he does, like TikTok live and stuff. But he's like, I just don't want to talk about, like, I'm just over talking about this. So then after like sitting on it for a while, I felt kind of off on the video because again, it's, I don't want to be the Dave and Brie without grace. You know what I mean? It's like, there's so many parts to the story and I was not involved in it at all. I don't know any of these people involved. So I'm like, let me just not have this where it's like so many people are hurt by it. There's so much like darkness. There's so much hurt. I've heard Tati's side.
Starting point is 02:13:07 James has been quiet. Jeffrey's side. And it's just all very murky and sad. And everything's really sad and kind of none of it really ends well for anyone. So for me, everything's been like good vibes, good vibes. And I wouldn't even say Jeffrey was bad vibes. But just overall, you know, I listened to you guys and kind of just gauged the situation. And I saw that he went on canceled. And, you know, in general, it just wasn't something I wanted to like partake in anymore.
Starting point is 02:13:37 Like in a sense of drama, like I feel like we were in like different places. I'm in a very different place. And I was like, oh, I just don't want to bring that up, especially when it involves other people. And it's like so heavy. When we talk about drama on here, especially Dramageddon, I feel like it's a key. It's like funny. We keep it as light as possible. And if there's any dark stuff, we try to like not talk about that. But I feel like it just was a little dark and heavy for so many people involved. So, and I don't know if anyone really knows the truth. When you say two sides to every story, I think there's like six sides to these stories and i think like everyone says the truth is always somewhere in
Starting point is 02:14:08 the middle no one i'm i'm sure this will be like the biggest unsolved mystery drama getting because we don't know like the full truth everything there's so many parts so many layers and i don't know i think just for me it was just a little too heavy and a little too serious for what we do here i love this platform of just entertaining people and not having to evoke negative emotions out of people and be drama. And in a way, I was hoping that for Jeffrey too. I think he understood when I told him and kind of agreed because it's just like, I don't know if, I don't want to speak for him, but I just don't know if that drama is the look we want or the feel. I don't know. The vibes were, it was fine. I didn't think it was the right time. He actually apologized to me again for this Vegas stuff. And we kind of squashed that and it's
Starting point is 02:14:49 been squashed or whatever. So to me, that felt good. That didn't feel like a waste of time. It's just too much when like other people are involved and I'm just not fully like aware of the situation. I'm not a journalist. I am not someone who like can deep dive and get all sides of the story. So I was just like not equipped to do that interview. So, and in general, a lot of you guys know, you guys protect me so much in the sense of protecting my peace. It doesn't matter if it was Jeffrey or anyone, you guys will always let me know. Hawk to it. You guys had that intuition too. I was like, let me go on Hawk to it. And everyone's like, no, Trish, don't go on Hawk to it. You know what I mean? And look at this, the Hawk to a scam happened. You know,
Starting point is 02:15:19 the crypto scam. I was like, y'all knew, y'all protect. So thank you. I know you guys want to protect my energy and I appreciate that so much. And that sometimes I have to listen to that. Sometimes I need to, because sometimes I'm so in my world and I'm just like, no, this will be good. But I like to listen to you guys. And you know, a lot of people, I just don't, just don't air. I know a lot of people want to too. And I was like so conflicted and I don't want Jeffrey to feel like it was a waste of time. I didn't think I wasted my time. Um, but we're just like totally different people. And, and I not in anything bad. We're just totally different people and, you know, different ways of life. But I do think what he told me is he doesn't like want to relive this drama.
Starting point is 02:15:55 I don't want to relive the drama. And I also don't want to be a part of drama or create more drama that doesn't need to be and rehash these things that have already been somewhat resolved. But I appreciate him like coming out. I appreciate you guys literally letting me know what you want to see. Cause at the end of the day, it's all about the community we create here. And I think it's a safe space. I think it's a fun space and I like to keep it very light. And, um, you know, all the people who are Jeffrey fans, like, you know, I do think he's at a completely different space in life too. And all the people who are my fans, thank you. And our joint fans,
Starting point is 02:16:24 I thank you for that. And, um, yeah. We'll put it on a hard drive and we'll put it inside of the Birkin bag. Ooh, auction it one day. That's the bonus you get. Love that. Okay. One day. It will be like a relic. It will be a relic. Maybe, how do you sell? Remember those things everyone did that were kind of scammy was NFTs. We make it like an NFT of it. Sell it for $100 million. Anyways, that's it. It's like Casey Neistat with the David Dobrik documentary. This is the new one.
Starting point is 02:16:54 This is the new vibe. Maybe I'll trade him. And be like, you can get that for this. It will be a piece. It will be a piece of like history that's been out there that will like never be seen. And it is kind of, it is kind of awful, but also kind of amazing. Don't you love that? Having a little something that will just be like lost in time. Lost media.
Starting point is 02:17:12 Yeah. Be like, what happened? Like the last oversharing. Oh, yeah. Well, I don't think anyone cares about that as much. I think there's an underwhelming demand for that. But anyway, so that's it. I wanted to like to say, that's why you don't think I'm ignoring.
Starting point is 02:17:27 For me, it's just like I said, I didn't want to be like bringing it up because I'm like, I'm over the drama. Let me talk about it. You know what I mean? But I think, you know, I'm happy with it. I feel good about it. And like I said, it's a lot of stories that like I'm not involved with and I have no business just blasting it out there.
Starting point is 02:17:41 To be honest, I was just like listening to a lot of it because I'm like, Oscar saw it. I'm very much like, I didn't know what to say. I'm like, I was like, like panicking in all levels. I was like, okay, okay. Yeah, it was wild. It was wild. But I think your intentions, again, going into it, I think were really like valid
Starting point is 02:18:00 and like honestly kind of wholesome. I feel like you just, you really just wanted to like tie everything up with like a little bow. You know? And then it just didn't pan out I think. But I think going into it, your intentions were really like pure at least, you know? So – A hundred percent.
Starting point is 02:18:13 And it's not worth views or anything for me at all to like bring up any negative feelings to anyone or any sort of disparaging feelings to anyone or, you know, people that have put it in the past. That was not my – anyways, you can make the judgments or you know people that have put it in the past that was not my anyways you can make the judgments as you want but that's it that's that and I asked a lot of people
Starting point is 02:18:32 I asked a lot of people I showed it to obviously Jimmy saw it and Oscar saw it and I just I was also awful I was not my best self I was very flustered
Starting point is 02:18:39 through the whole thing I'm just I don't know what to say because like Dramageddon has an entertainment value as viewers just to see it from outside there was things that were funny and interesting and but when you dive into the actual thing there's a lot of darkness and like they're actual people and the actual
Starting point is 02:18:54 accusations actual stuff the accusations are so then so then you're like okay wait a minute like i and like i can watch it as a viewer but i don't want to participate as uh you know like getting in it is a very different story we see the memes of like time and place and it's like the delivery everything can be like comedic and funny but yeah there's so many accusations from everybody involved and it's like who like and like people are like on their life like this is what happened you don't even know about this and then i realized like oh my god this is like something that like i i should be investigating or something it's not like we envision Tati or Charles sitting on this chair and talking about it either you know so it's like I don't know that's what I'm saying like it's not that the reason I invited Jeffrey
Starting point is 02:19:34 wasn't for John McGeddon for me personally it really was I mean it was like cute because we like went through it but it was because like I knew him and we had our issues and I was trying to be like okay look we're we can resolve these issues you know what I mean like I just think it's that was what I was trying to show was like growth and then yeah but i listened to you guys and i listened to heart and i told jeffrey it wasn't airing and all that stuff like that so i think hopefully it's all good and definitely none of mine talked to your james on no offense i don't know you but also i hope you're well hope everyone healed from that it's a lot that's a lot yeah that's more drama than i've ever been like that is actually because i've never been in drama with really people it's more drama by myself but
Starting point is 02:20:09 that's why there's so much in entanglement yeah and also like trisha knew like literally because we filmed patreon right after and literally the whole time we were filming patreon like you were still reeling from it and so like literally i think your gut instinct from yeah the jump by the way it wasn't like uh we saw it on cancel like oh no like literally no i was a witness to the internal conflict the second yeah it's not gonna happen yeah it was it was a lot it was just like a lot and you know you just feel you just feel that that's very true yeah that's a good way and and even tana was like you know we'll let you post it first and i was just like you know at the end of the day i was just like i'm just not gonna it. But it was – also ours was a very different interview.
Starting point is 02:20:47 Thank you. That was very different. And I – yeah, it just – it would have been, you know, it's fine. It's out there. Go watch the canceled one. Yeah. But I am neutral. I'm here and neutral.
Starting point is 02:20:59 And even with Tati and James, I'm kind of just like washing my hands. I'm like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just – I like the campness of it. Tati on James, I'm kind of just like washing my hands. I'm like, honestly, I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just – I like the campness of it. Tati on live and Jeffrey on live. Maybe we'll see them battle one day.
Starting point is 02:21:12 I don't think much more can get salacious between now and filming next Hot Topics. It's the holidays. Come on, everyone. Take it easy. Yeah. We'll just do a cute recap. I'm going to have everyone bring their favorite 2024 either moment in their life or pop culture moment and then I think we'll do 2025 predictions with everybody. I'm going to have everyone bring their favorite 2024 either moment in their life or pop culture moment.
Starting point is 02:21:25 And then I think we'll do 2025 predictions with everybody. And it's going to be fun. It's going to be a pajama party, I think. Yeah. You know that? We'll do a cute pajama. Do you wear pajamas? No.
Starting point is 02:21:35 Oh, no. You're going to buy pajamas? Yeah. I'm going to get pajamas. I'm going to give the aesthetic, you know. I'm curious to know – Moses is not in here, but I'm curious to know what he would – because he doesn't like to be seen in public with like pajama pants or sweatpants. Oh, I forgot about that. Yeah. He likes a jean or something I feel like he's gonna
Starting point is 02:21:47 wear jeans like a gesture but I'm gonna try and make him get my favorite pajama pants he wore one pair of pajama pants for the first year of us dating Christmas pajama pants all year round and he still wears them he still has them and there's like one pair of pajama pants he'd bring over to the house and I was like wow he's feeling comfortable because he's wearing his sweatpants around the house and he wears them every day um but he probably won't wear them on but they're just like really old pajama pants. But we'll see if he does. I know my mom and sister are excited.
Starting point is 02:22:08 I'm excited. Jimmy and Isaiah will be joining us. But first, coming up is Isla. She is my producer and writer for my new song, Mother, that's going to be premiering today. Right after this podcast, 1230 Pacific Standard Time. I'll be in the live chat. It's called A Mother, and she will be joining us shortly. All right, and we're back.
Starting point is 02:22:31 My next guest is a taunted singer, songwriter, performance artist, and we co-wrote a new song together, Mother. Out now, exclusively on Patreon, Mother herself. Yes. Hi. How are you? I'm good. I feel honored to be here. I'm Mother herself. Hi, love. Hi. How are you? I'm good. I feel honored to be here.
Starting point is 02:22:48 I'm so excited. Oh, my gosh. I wore my pink. I love it. No, you're very pink, though. Your aesthetic is pink, too. It is, but you're the queen of pink. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 02:22:56 We're queens together. Mothers together. Mothers. I haven't seen you since before Thanksgiving. We shot the video. I know. Recorded the song. We wrote the song, recorded the song, shot the video all within, like, a couple days.
Starting point is 02:23:07 Literally. Yeah. You're amazing, by the way. Thank you. Like, I was so impressed with you. I'm already a fan. I'm a Trisha Stan. Oh.
Starting point is 02:23:14 But I was more impressed with you. After I left, like, I was telling Katis, I'm like, oh, my gosh, she's just amazing. Like, you picked up everything so fast. You were just, like, so loving and, like, you're just you. Thank you. I was intimidated. I i was honored i was all of it um isla and katis you're the producer on the song but like you're producing partner you would say yeah yeah we do all of my music together and he's amazing yeah he's great it was so much fun so patreon came i don't know when you guys heard about it i heard about it like a month ago. Yeah. They were like, oh, we have a really good idea to like, you know, have your fans like write a song with you.
Starting point is 02:23:48 And I was like, well, that's great, but I'm not like the best songwriter, you know? So we did this collaborative effort where we asked the fans, what kind of song? What genre? Do you want to see dance pop? Do you want to do, you know? And everyone voted on it on Patreon. And that's how we came up with Mother. They wanted woman empowerment.
Starting point is 02:24:03 Yep. They wanted a dance track and we gave them all the options and then we came up with Mother, which I was, the first time I heard your take on it, your first run, I was like wait, this is so perfect. There were little nuances here and there, but you really were brains behind it.
Starting point is 02:24:17 You did the vocal, what's it called? Track? What is that called? Yeah, like demo, coming up with different melodies and like. I was obsessed. Like gibberish. It was so good. I was like listening to it.
Starting point is 02:24:29 I was like, wait, this is so good. It's literally one of my favorite songs ever that I've recorded. I was so excited. It's so fun. Like I've been listening to it every day. I'm like, oh my gosh. And I feel like you are mother and it's so, in so many different ways. Like obviously you're an amazing mother.
Starting point is 02:24:43 We all get to witness that. And you also are, like, mother of the internet. You're like, you know what I mean? Yes. Like, what better title for you? Yeah, it was a perfect song. And I feel like it is, you know, a term you get used so much. But, like, listening to the song and listening to the lyrics, it is a very empowering song for everybody.
Starting point is 02:25:02 Yeah. It was so much fun to record. Everyone can be mother. Everyone is mother. It was so fun. to record. Everyone can be mother. Everyone is mother. It was so fun. We were, like, in the recording studio. And it's, like, nerve-wracking because we had Patreon there, so they're kind of documenting the journey of, like, writing the song.
Starting point is 02:25:14 But instantly we connected. Yeah. Like, instantly. I was, like, I saw you and I was just like, oh, my God, you're very, like, ethereal. There's, like, something just, like, radiating about you. How would you describe, like, your style, like, as a person and as an artist? Is it, like, the same or do you think there's, something just like radiating about you. How would you describe like your style like as a person and as an artist? Is it like the same or do you think there's like Hannah Montana vibes? Oh my gosh. Okay. So I would say a little of both. I think I'm like as regular as someone
Starting point is 02:25:35 could be. Like I'm a Taurus. My birthday is May 6th. I think our birthdays are close. Yeah. I don't know if I knew that about you. so I'm like very like I love my comfort right I think as an artist is where I like I feel like I'm kind of like socially you know not awkward but like socially aware right of my awkwardness no we love that um but I but I as Isla I'm like able to really put myself in my music. So I think that's kind of like the next, I don't know, like next level of me in how I really like share my feelings and stuff. So it's kind of a mix of both. Like I can be in the studio in my little comfy outfit, but I'm like singing about mother
Starting point is 02:26:17 or like singing about kind of my struggles or my joy and all of it. So I think that's kind of what encompasses me as an artist. But it's a lot of things. I'm a woman, you know. Oh, the most complex part of anybody is the womanhood of it all. It's a lot. We go through a lot of stuff. And I feel like, yeah, when we recorded the song, even though we recorded for a few hours together, but it was just like instant, just emotion, just like a lot, you know, in the
Starting point is 02:26:41 best way. Like I shared my story, you shared your story with me. And I just thought, oh my gosh, like there is so much complexity to people and humans and it's cool that our paths crossed in the way it did. Yes. And I, when I heard from Patreon, I could not believe, like I was in shock because I have really been a fan of you forever. And I feel like you are in your, like you're in an era that I hope to be in one day. And you, cries. No, but you.
Starting point is 02:27:11 Tissues, no. You embody so much creativity and you're so unafraid and just bold and beautiful in every way. And like to get to like work with you and write a song with you I so my mom passed we talked about this when we met my mom passed a year ago I can't believe that's even real but she passed a year ago and she introduced me to you probably 10 years ago and I know everyone
Starting point is 02:27:38 says this to you about their mom but my mom my mom saw like herself in you in a lot of ways. And you, you just I can't even but you, you really had this presence. I think the first video she showed me of you was like showing what was in your shower. And like, these are my products. And and like she would go out and we would get the products like that kind of thing and she was really young and she my dream like I have gotten through the last year with support of friends and family of course but like she was my soulmate and I watched Just Trish every episode because it it's a beautiful distraction for me that gets me through the worst. I'm in the worst time of my life. Like I'm smiling and I'm here and I'm – but I think there's things – there's bigger things at play. And I just know this has her like written all over it.
Starting point is 02:28:37 I can't believe it's even – and then it's called Mother. Yeah. It's also – Yeah. Like I don't know. No, what do you – thank you for sharing this. I want you to share that with me because I think too, people don't know you guys live together. Yeah, we did, yeah.
Starting point is 02:28:49 Like, you are, like, close as a bee. My whole life. You're the – you were the only child. Yep. And she's very young. She had you very young. Yeah. And then found out she had cancer.
Starting point is 02:28:58 Yeah. Very quickly it went. Yes. And so the shock of all of that and then you guys living together to that it's you know I think something no one could imagine especially when you're that close yeah and someone so young exactly and and she was like she was she really loved you and like we also kind of it was such a bonding thing for us like watching your channel and then watching the podcast like she was sick right very sick toward the end and it was kind of like a little escape, a beautiful, beautiful escape. And like,
Starting point is 02:29:29 it's funny and it's emotional and it's because you're so yourself. And that's what I try to be as an artist. Like, I feel like there is a little bit of an alter ego to the music and to my, my visuals are kind of crazy and avant-garde. The visuals are beautiful. Thank you. I need to look at them instantly. Thank you you but I feel like that's actually my core like the core of who I am and so I just think like thank you for being you and for like bringing people together and like we were like watching your mukbangs and like for years and like your sister and your mom and like we talked about that when you said that too you're like oh she knew your mom and the whole thing I was like that's yeah I mean those kind of too, you're like, oh, she did your bum and the whole thing. I was like, that's.
Starting point is 02:30:05 Yeah. I mean, those kind of stories are like literally like just so the most touching thing. And then someone who's so talented and beautiful and like creative. And I was just like, well, she obviously did such a good job because you're just and you're so put together. I really don't know how you are doing it and just persevering with your music. She was supportive of you beyond. Yeah. And she probably knew you were like a star
Starting point is 02:30:26 did she get to see what was some successes of yours that she got to see so she got to see um my first tour my headlining tour was right before um covid and which is crazy and she got to go with me on the second half of the tour and she was there every day and we did like i did the troubadour here in la and you know i'm from la and it was sold out and it was like i know it's not the biggest thing but to me it was like huge to me yeah it was just like crazy and she got to see me like what's crazy is she actually heard so my debut album is coming out next year. She heard the album. She heard, yeah, she heard the whole thing. There's been things, I wrote a song for her after she passed that I put out a couple months ago called Blue Eyes. She obviously didn't hear that, but the rest of it
Starting point is 02:31:16 she heard. And like now it's like all sparkly and you know, there's like, of course, as you know, there's lots of things that go into music and adding it and mixing and all that. But she got to hear the essence of it. And, you know, I think the rest of my life, like if I ever get to be like at the Grammys or like this, honestly, this, like my dream was to be sitting here with you, with you guys, all of you. And like she's she's here. Like I was thinking all day. I'm like, she's she's not going to be thinking all day I'm like she's she's not gonna be here like how am I doing these things like people have different dreams and this is one of my dreams
Starting point is 02:31:51 honestly and she's not here but I know that she's she is here so she got to witness a lot and she also there's lots of things that I'll be doing in her honor for the rest of my life you know what do you feel like what do you feel like she's here? Is it like, I've never gone through any loss or grief. Like, do you feel? I hadn't either. Is it a presence? Is it like, what is it?
Starting point is 02:32:15 You know, okay, this sounds a little crazy, but I feel like I am more her. Like, I feel her in me. Like, I am, we were very similar. We were very, we were best friends, but we were also different in some ways she was so positive and like optimistic and like you can do anything and whatever and I could be a little more in my like sad girl vibes and she was just this light and I feel like sometimes I pull from her light like to this day and that's how I get through things so that's where I feel her most is like kind of like in me.
Starting point is 02:32:47 Yeah. I don't know. You're feeling more positive than you would have been before. Like I speak and I like I'm talking to you right now and I hear her. Wow. And I don't know. Even right after she passed, like I would, we had like babies born in my family and stuff where I was like, oh, she's not experiencing this.
Starting point is 02:33:01 And I would like look at them and I would be like, wait, we're looking at them oh my god if that makes sense I love hearing that because it's such a hard thing to even think about but it's crazy comfort to people either going through it or we'll have to go through it one day I hope so yeah I hope so and you're the song that you've written about her the blue eyes that it's already out it's out yeah, where were you in the process of like grief or healing where you like wrote that? Okay. So I was majorly struggling. I felt like I had this album done that I'm so proud of. And this is like last year. Um, and I'm thinking like, I need to put, I need to survive. Like, I don't want to put music out right now, but I have to, I'm an artist. Like I have to live. Um, and I already feel like part of me is with her kind of, and I need now but I have to I'm an artist like I have to live um and I
Starting point is 02:33:45 already feel like part of me's with her kind of and I need to be present so I'm like okay I'm missing a song like I gotta come back with a song that tells people where I'm at like the other songs are like fun and sexy and like some of them are sad and like relationshipy but I'm like I need one for the real love of my life you know and so And so when I wrote it, I think I told you this, but I went to the Madonna Inn. Yes. We love Madonna Inn. And I recorded it there. It's a pink hotel up in San Luis Obispo.
Starting point is 02:34:13 It's so beautiful. In the room. We just set up a mic and I recorded it. I wrote it in 15 minutes. Wow. And I just was – it's really honest. It's really like – I wasn't caring about like rhyming or like whatever. I was just like, this needs to come out. So I wrote the lyrics
Starting point is 02:34:31 and I just kind of, it was kind of like a love song to her of like, you know, we'll get through this together. And like her love transcends this world and whatever the next is. And like, kind of here I am. And there's even parts of the song where I'm kind of like teary and crying it's not I just sang it down I didn't do like verse chorus you know it needed to just be like raw did you record at the Madonna end yes yeah it's amazing in that room it was just Katis and I in the room wow like crazy I had everybody leave because I was like I'm gonna cry if I see anyone who like loves me I'm going to immediately cry. Wow. So your relationship with K-Diss, how long have you known him for? 10 years. We've been working 10 years.
Starting point is 02:35:10 And you met professionally? We met in the craziest way. So I was a demo singer. I was working on music, but I couldn't really find my rhythm. People would see me and say, you should be doing straight pop, or you should be doing country, or you should be doing this. And I was like, R&B is my soul that's where that's what i love and i wanted to kind of like have a mixed sound of different things and so katis was working he
Starting point is 02:35:35 had a store that he owned a cupcake shop at the topanga mall oh my gosh i was a Valley girl. And me too, I'm here now. Of course. We love Woodland Hills, shout out. He had a cupcake store there? Yes. That he owned? He and his wife. Yes, they owned a cupcake store.
Starting point is 02:35:55 It was called Cupcake Stiletto. Ooh, I love a cupcake. It's not there anymore. It was mini cupcakes. So everyone who worked at the store was like in the industry, like actors and like singers because it was a flexible schedule. He's a producer. So he understood. Oh, I love that. And I, so I'm telling my friend, one of my friends worked there and I'm like, you know what? This music stuff is
Starting point is 02:36:12 like, it's hard and I need a job. Like I need to actually make money. I need to live. And so she's like, well, my, my friend owns this store and I'm like, okay, to bank them all. I'm going to run into a lot of my friends from high school. They're you're not making it as an artist which I did yeah but anyway see what the troubadour I don't um I love that but but they um so anyway so I go in for an interview and he's like okay like we sit down and he's like, so you're an artist? And I was like, yeah. He's like, come to the studio.
Starting point is 02:36:51 So I get the job. I worked there for two and a half years and we built the music. Like we would work at night at the studio. I worked at the Topanga Mall during the day. And then we created the sound. And then my first EP came out called War and Raindrops. And it was, that was in like 2018. And I had a song on it called Juice that like really took off, like almost immediately.
Starting point is 02:37:11 And then it's just been a hustle since then of like, I've put out EPs and like we've been working and finding the sound and, you know. So how did Juice take off? How did it? I think, so my video was really like out there and like, I always felt like the video needs to, I know you relate to this. I love the video. I need the video first. They're so important. I'm already, I'm writing the song and I'm like thinking of the visual, but the video has to like tell the story. And I was a brand new artist. I'm, I still feel like a brand new artist in some ways,
Starting point is 02:37:40 but I was like, I need to show people like my vision for this because it was kind of an R&B song R&B pop song and I was like I want to do something really different and just like colorful and like there's a scene where like there's like paint coming down for me I'm it's just a lot I'm my mom was an artist my mom was creative I'm just like you know oh did she help you with the oh everything she's just like yeah she was there through everything. And like, and I have a great team too. And like, I would have these crazy ideas and she'd be, my mom was always like my like champion. She'd like, I'd be like, oh, I have a little bit showing. She'd be like, you could show more. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:38:16 Me as a mom for sure. She'd be like, you're young and you're beautiful. Of course. She was just like the most, the opposite of a mom who'd be like, you know, like cover up. No, real moms know. We're like like we want to look like that we wish we looked like that now like show it while you can exactly yeah so she was like my my biggest champion in every way um but yeah so I think juice just kind of like there
Starting point is 02:38:34 was so much love and it was like grit and it was the video was really cool like I have to say it's really cool and it was like super low budget just like you know doing my artist thing and like it took off and then I signed like to a distribution deal so I could own my music because that was a big thing for me that's I was like I'm owning this yeah I still do all my stuff wow it's a longer grind I would say yeah but I feel like I have a like a beautiful supportive fan base that loves the music and like I don't know I just feel especially since my mom's passing like I used to put stuff out and be like I hope people like it or like do I need this I need this hit record you know the label is always like you need the hit and I'm now
Starting point is 02:39:16 I'm like I get to write music and be an artist and like make crazy videos and like dress up and I think like I'm okay. Like if, if everyone loves it, that's great. If more people love it, that would be amazing. But I also am so proud of it. And like this album coming out, I need to send you a link, like a private link. I would love, can you say the name of it? Yes, I can. Okay. It's called Weeping Angel. Oh my God. Gorge. And have you shot the cover? Not there's i do have a lot of visuals done and the first the the single strut that's out now has kind of the theme it's like the veils and like it has this kind of i don't know i feel like there's like a dichotomy with human beings where there's like
Starting point is 02:39:58 none of us are just this one thing and so weeping angel kind of represents that to me it's like i might be like in my sad girl, like I'm in a really hard time in my life, but like I can also rise above and I can also try to be an example of like that grief is really, I was going to curse, really hard. And so is life, even if you're not grieving. And there's also different kinds of grief and I think that's this album will be that like this album will be a mix of those really strong feelings and like Blue Eyes is on the album it's the last song on the album um but it's also like there's also some like sexy fun like I'm going out and I'm gonna be okay and I have to live life because my mom was beautiful and I need to like embody that and you know I'm going to be okay, and I have to live life because my mom was beautiful, and I need to embody that, and I'm lucky to be alive.
Starting point is 02:40:47 That's how I feel. And the veils are part of that too. The veils, when she passed, I was looking into what is – I was just reading everything about grief, like grief and mourning, and how do I survive this? Because often it feels like I can't survive this. She was my everything. And I saw this thing about that in Victorian times, they would wear veils as a sign of mourning so that when they
Starting point is 02:41:11 went out in public, people would know that they're grieving. So it's like, oh, they're okay. You know, like, and I was like, oh, I like this. Like, this is something that kind of feels like it's like a little protection or something. I don't know. Like letting people know. Yeah. Even though no one knows. But I love that. It's so beautiful because it is so beautiful. And to me, I thought it was just like an aesthetic choice because it's so beautiful and it's very ethereal and very disgorged. But like hearing that part of it, it does, like you said, the protection of it and also like letting people know, because that's like a saying, right? It's like, you know, we shouldn't like, you don't know anyone's going through, so you shouldn't like judge because right. Like would never know meeting you because you are so light and bubbly and you're so
Starting point is 02:41:48 fun. Like, I would never know everything you went through and then the closeness of that relationship. So it is also like a sign to be like, I'm also going through this. But what you said about watching the podcast being a distraction, I feel like this album is like a perfect for that, for people. It is, yeah. Who also, because like you said, it's it's you know having that song about your mother is like so beautiful but also living life is such a beautiful thing and she embraced your sexiness and happiness and I think that's and is that what strut you
Starting point is 02:42:15 would say is mainly about yeah strut is like I literally say swallow my tears down in the club because I'm like I'm like listen you gotta And we're all going through stuff. And like you said, you never know what somebody's going through. And my mom, honestly, hated sad music. Really? So she's like, I want to listen to something fun. Yeah. She was like, she wants a fun song. I put Blue Eyes out, and I was like, love you.
Starting point is 02:42:39 And then inside, it was for me. Inside, I was like, she would hate this song. Yeah, you're like, let me have hate this yeah it's so sad she'd be like next where's strut where's the others where's the rest of it like she wanted she wanted the fun like you know whatever so I want to honor that too because I want to humans we're just so complex and like we're always like I hope I have kids one day and that's that would be like the light of my life and like watching you go through that, oh, my gosh, like, beautiful. And also, it's going to be so hard.
Starting point is 02:43:08 Like, my mom's not here. Like, what? So, trust me, every little thing has that. Like, there's that in everything. But I think it does motivate me to, like, find the good because she, of anyone I've ever met, she found the good. Yeah. She found the good. And that's, like found the good. Yeah. She found the good. And that's like the most beautiful thing.
Starting point is 02:43:26 And you'll have, you have so much strength to like, I guess you don't have a choice, right? But you do have so much strength to be like, I'm going to have kids and not knowing my mom won't be there. I mean, that's, it's so scary, but you're so like strong. And the way you write is so beautiful. Do you write, have you written for other, I know we wrote the song together,
Starting point is 02:43:43 but like, have you written for other people? Or do you mostly just do your own other I know we wrote the song together but like have you written for other people or do you mostly just do your own I mostly just do my own I think for me I mean you're a whole other thing like so I'm so honored to write with you I'm like I don't want to write with anybody else but it was it was the best experience of my life truly truly like writing together was so I've never written with another female and it was like it was like this instant connection yeah it was great it was yeah because cadence is also like just so cool and she'll lay back so I was like very intimidated but then he's giving man he's giving man for sure but love you're giving very much like just like I
Starting point is 02:44:15 said the demo track you record I'm like okay I can do this I can feel this but we we synced instantly and there is something about writing with like a female that like you know just goes through goes through stuff you know what I mean totally totally I'm very honored that we got to like write together because it's so good like the way you write and the stuff you write even our song is fun and it's dancey and it's women empowerment but there's a like depth to it you know what I mean I really loved all aspects of it um I love singing it yeah I just felt like I don't know I just felt empowered singing it was like a lot of and mostly it was a lot of Isla's words there was I had my little bit like maybe we could do this oh my gosh no you're the overall foundation was your work and you know obviously our fans chimed in too but it was just
Starting point is 02:44:53 it was so fun to watch you work and just thank you collaborative because you are so talented you have to listen to her voice her voice is like insane I think your look is like so beautiful a lot of people might think it's like a gimmick because like oh maybe she doesn't. But like your talent is actually you know what I mean. Thank you. But her page is beautiful. Your tears are like rhinestone tears sometimes which I think is so beautiful. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:45:15 I think crying is a beautiful thing. I think more people should show that. It is. I think we both cried the day that we I mean I didn't tell you I cried. Did you? I was crying in front of you. I'm like you mentioned you cried. I mean before you got there tell you I cried. Did you? I was crying in front of you. I'm like, you mentioned you cried. I mean, before you got there, you said you cried. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:45:28 And I was like, same. That was an emotional day for me after too. And I was just like, I had a lot of emotions. It was very weird because the song is very fun, by the way. You should go check out the song. It's me like delivering fast food in a pink Corvette. Like it's fun. It's so fun.
Starting point is 02:45:41 And camp. But it was like weirdly emotional. I guess like writing songs and just like singing. It's a lot. And camp, but it was like weirdly emotional. Like it's like writing songs and just like singing. It's a lot. And singing in front of people for me is very hard. I told you,
Starting point is 02:45:49 I was like, I don't sing in front of anyone. Yeah, except for a tour. Okay. Except when you killed, I was in the audience, by the way.
Starting point is 02:45:58 Oh my God, thank you for coming. In Thousand Oaks. Yeah. What do you mean thank you for coming? I was shocked. I was honored.
Starting point is 02:46:02 I tried to buy tickets and it sold out. I was so happy you wanted to come. That's wild. I'm glad it worked out. It was insane. And by the way, I'm sure everyone's telling you this, but everyone was standing the entire time. There's standing ovations
Starting point is 02:46:16 and then there's Trisha Paytas. You know what I mean? Everybody literally did that at every show. It's a seated venue. No, we're not going to sit for you. That's why I was just saying I'm too tired to stand I need to sit. You stood on stage the whole time you were dancing. I was the most energy
Starting point is 02:46:31 I'm out of breath I'm all of this. You were amazing Do you dance with your okay so you're like a dancer too. Yeah. And do you get how do you get the stamina? I guess you're just in good shape. I don't know No I'm not. I don't know. I don't know I really I think it just takes so much practice but then like singing with like you were singing I was you. I don't know. I don't know. I really, I think it just takes so much practice, but then like singing with like, you were singing. I was, you know what I mean? I was doing something. I don't know. No, like, I don't know. Like some people would have like the track
Starting point is 02:46:53 and they're like doubling and like whatever, like you were giving vocals and dancing and talking. You were talking so much that I was like, you're going to lose your voice. I have to fill in the time. I can't do a full era's tour of two or three hours of me singing, which would be wild. And you, I also thought, like, I was so impressed with, like, you did a full, like, you were up there for an hour and a half. Yeah, I really tried. What do you mean? I thought it was going to be, like, you were doing, like, you really, like, the stamina.
Starting point is 02:47:18 The stamina. No, the stamina was not there. Maybe if I do more shows. It was there. I haven't toured, like, probably since 2019. I haven't done any shows in so long. So, this music video with you I was like really inspired again I was like wait this is so good oh it's I love it I love that it's like patreon brought us together I was like so weird and like kismet because the whole thing to me at first I was like I'm kind
Starting point is 02:47:37 of confused but I love doing music videos so I'm gonna do it and then the whole process was recording in that room was interesting it was the biggest recording studio ever and i was just like y'all don't understand i'm like in a hole most of the time like no but me too i'm in the living room i'm like in a living room doing this it's way more like i was so i was like nervous for you because it's scary to be like and there were can we say there were like six cameras there was six cameras it's production everyone's like on stable cameras yeah there's a director overhead just anything that needs to be you don't understand it was no but even for me like and i'm recording all the time and that's that's literally all i do yeah i was like this is scary and then i had on um i was literally telling people that and i had on my um mic you know
Starting point is 02:48:22 like under my shirt and i was so like excited and nervous to meet you that I was like, all they're going to hear on my mic is like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I was like, I was literally telling my management. I'm like, I don't know. I think I messed the audio up with my nerves. Well, I'm so glad you had told me that because it made me actually more comfortable. Because I just thought like these people are probably like, who is this person? Like, I don't know. Patreon just gave us this random person. No I was I was happy when I found that
Starting point is 02:48:49 out I was like okay it's good and it ended up being really good by the way I love patreon they're great they I mean it literally was like a hundred people on the set of this music video and I was just like I remember walking in immediately terrified because Moses wasn't with me I'm by myself I'm just like I couldn't believe that. You came by yourself. Yeah. I come everywhere by myself. She's a legend. I pictured like a posse. I have no posse. Moses is my posse and when he's not with me I'm by myself. You'll be your posse.
Starting point is 02:49:13 I'll go everywhere. Oh my god. I'll be your posse. I would love. When's your next live show? I would love to come to yours. I don't know. I'm thinking a tour probably in spring. Like after the album's out and has kind of like done its thing maybe. That sounds so good. So like May, around our birthdays.
Starting point is 02:49:28 I love it. Yay, gay Taurus babies. I would love to come see your, are you going to do a video, you're going to do music videos for all your songs? Yeah, I think so. I, the label says like a song has to blow up before we do a video,
Starting point is 02:49:40 but I'm like, there's visuals though. There's visuals. There's just not like a full length video but just blow the songs up yeah go stream it so I can make a video strut I want to see a video for sure I need to see a video for blue eyes which would be so beautiful and it's gonna be the full album will be out early next year yes next year which is gonna be and do you have a full rollout plan for it yes but I think there's always like I always want to be flexible like there's songs on there that are like my personal faves that everyone else is like, this is just like, eh. And I'm like, maybe it'll blow up and then we'll switch the game. How do you feel about
Starting point is 02:50:13 TikTok? Okay. This is how I feel. As a musician, as an artist. I, I actually love TikTok. Okay. I have so much fun, like looking at people's TikToks. My thing is that I am kind of like, you know, I'm an artist. I'm like a creative. It's hard for me to like be on TikTok. Like I haven't found my groove, but I'm doing my best. I'm doing, I'm putting everything that I can into it. And I hope that like it survives. So are you putting stuff out? Yeah. As an artist or as you're like just as an artist. Okay. So you're not doing like trends where you're like, this is what I'm eating today. No, but I should. I would love to see what you eat on a day.
Starting point is 02:50:48 That's kind of everything. I should be doing that. I think that for me, it's hard. I'm trying to find that blend between like the human side of things and then like the art. Because I feel like I've always loved artists that are like, like Alana, right? Or even like, I mean, some of the greatest of all time, but like a Beyonce or like a Frank Ocean. They're kind of more mysterious and it's like
Starting point is 02:51:10 they put themselves in the art and now I'm trying to learn how to put myself in the world. I don't mind that though. I'm like, I think people like my art because of me. They always eat the burger. What is Trisha doing?
Starting point is 02:51:25 Like is she eating on stage? We don't know, but we're going to support it. But I do love, especially when you have so much talent. It's very like, it's very like Chapel Roan too, right? Like she has that, her persona and it's great. And then people don't know her necessarily, but they know enough of her through her music that they support it. So I do think there is something really beautiful about that too.
Starting point is 02:51:42 It is very opposite of me, but I do love, I love it because I don't think there is enough elusiveness. Sometimes people are too much out there. Yeah, the blend is important. Like I'm trying to find that blend. And then it's also like if your song blows up on TikTok now, that's what the labels want. That's what everyone wants. Like, oh, it needs to be TikTok. And I feel like while I love TikTok, like to scroll endlessly and like, you know, all
Starting point is 02:52:04 the things, I'm also like, I want the music. I want the music to be timeless. Yeah. Like, I want it forever. I don't want to do something because it's, like, cool on TikTok. Like, I want it to be cool on TikTok. Please. And timeless.
Starting point is 02:52:16 Yeah. And also timeless. Yes. And, like, beautiful and wonderful and, like, epic and, like, because that's the artist I love, too. And I also love, like, the fun TikTok songs that, like like you don't think that come back from like 10 years ago and like I don't know like my song juice could do that who knows like oh is it up do you have all your music like it's all up there and like I'll get things now where I'm like I had another song called um strings and like I'll get things all the time where it's like people just discovering strings
Starting point is 02:52:42 because of things like TikTok so I love like yeah, yeah, I support it. I'm going to use all your sounds. No, I would die. Especially like this new one. No, I am a hundred percent because you are, and you are such like a beautiful person, but like, again, you're like songs and your artistry is like so beautiful. And it doesn't make me like sad that it's like this world of TikTok where it's like, you know, people with, I don't know, just because it goes viral, they get to be big or whatever. You know what I mean? And it's like someone who's worked so hard for 10 years. But I do think you'll have it both.
Starting point is 02:53:11 You've worked really hard, so you will get that big pop off. But I also think TikTok could work a lot in that favor because social media is great. I think so too. And I think like we've seen some of the greats right now that are inspiring to me, like a Sabrina, right? Or a Chapel. Like they have been artists. They've had six albums.
Starting point is 02:53:27 You know, Sabrina's had six albums, I think. And like Chapel, like we all have been hustling and there's no such thing anymore as like the brand new artist that just blows up. Totally. We're all 10 year artists. It's just the time, you know, and when you're different and you try and you're like so intentional and you're not trying to follow the trends and you're not trying to fit in a box, it takes longer. It just does.
Starting point is 02:53:50 And I'm okay with that. But it'll pay off so big. I mean, you obviously are doing so well, but I think it's going to pay off so big. Thank you. We should definitely do a TikTok before you leave to one of your songs first. I feel like it should be strapped probably, right? Yeah, that'd be so good. I cry.
Starting point is 02:54:07 I'm a crier too, girl girl i cried with you all the time like the first day we met i was like i'm about to cry no yeah and it wasn't even when the cameras were on i was like in between i was just like oh my gosh i was just like and then we had to go record this like you'll like but a song and i was just like oh my god we just had this emotional moment all of a sudden no mother and they kept telling us like oh you can have a break like we had we had a break every hour because we filmed for an hour for like six hours yeah and they'd be like you can have a break and we never took a break by the way we just talked yeah the entire time yeah no i loved it and that's i love that part to me was like the most important part is like me too like i didn't know you know you didn't know and then when we got to like talk
Starting point is 02:54:41 and have a connection and all this stuff you said and the stuff when you talked about your mom but then also like my mom because we're like so close and have a connection and all this stuff you said. And the stuff when you talked about your mom, but then also like my mom, because we're like so close in that we're just all perpendicular to each other. It was like very, it was like very beautiful and very wonderful. And I'm so excited for everything. I can't wait to do our little TikTok together. And if you guys want to check out our new song, Mother, it's on patreon.com slash justtrish. The music video is so good.
Starting point is 02:55:06 The song is so good. You killed it. Everyone was like this audience. Literally, Oscar heard it. You were just like. You heard it? Just the same. I just heard like the teaser.
Starting point is 02:55:14 And even like all like our viewers and stuff are so excited for like a pop anthem Trisha moment. It's been a second. It's been a second since you had a pop anthem. I don't know if I ever had one. No. Bye. This is my. This is the pop anthem. Bye. It's huge. It's been a second since you had a pop-and-up. I don't know if I ever had one. No. Bye. This is my, this is the pop-and-up.
Starting point is 02:55:26 Bye. It's huge. It's huge. It's thanks to Patreon. It's thanks to my patrons, my Patreon members and huge thanks to Isla and Katis, of course.
Starting point is 02:55:34 You're an absolute doll, angel. You're a doll. I love you. Everything about you, I love, I support. I am truly your number one fan and I really do feel like
Starting point is 02:55:42 it's a moment where I feel like you're going to blow up so big and I'm so honored and lucky. We're going to be bragging about it for years. For years. I tweeted Rachel Zeckler in 2014 and I won't shut up about it. I was like, I don't watch every episode.
Starting point is 02:55:58 Actually, I knew about her first and I'm like, I know you've been around forever but I just know it's going to be like you're going to have such a moment and your mom will be there and I'm so excited to be there with you and thanks for coming on the podcast
Starting point is 02:56:09 thanks for helping me write the song go check out motherpatreon.com slash just Trisha check out Isla everywhere her visuals are beautiful
Starting point is 02:56:15 her new album Weeping Angel coming top of next year and hopefully a full on tour yes definitely I'm excited to see it and I wish we could check out those cupcakes
Starting point is 02:56:23 at Topanga Mall but I guess it's not like cupcakes are a lot of R-I-P. Sounds so bad. But we love you guys. Thanks for watching this episode. Just Trish. And we'll see you in the next one.
Starting point is 02:56:32 Bye. Bye. Thank you.
