Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys! Welcome to Just Trish and it's a hot topic. So nobody call him or her Trish Takes. Trish Takes. I don't know if that's the same like ring as like a hot topic. No, but we know it's a work in progress. We're working with it. Yeah, but it should be like hot Trish Takes or something. Like hot topics. Hot Trish Topics. Tropics. Hot Tropics. It's in development. It's in development. It's Just Trish, the podcast where it's just me but also oscar and moses what's up oscar oh my god i've missed you guys i know they missed you they have missed you just one week makes a big difference yeah having like just withdrawals from just it is actually crazy i miss it so much So we're going to two times a week.
Starting point is 00:00:46 It's official. I guess it's official. We're moving fast. We're just like, and we're doing two weeks and then possibly three a week. Like I literally was talking to Oscar like full time. Come on, let's do it. In between all your other jobs. It's literally like, let's film at 6am.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Let's film at midnight. Like whatever it takes. But we have so much fun. It's so much. I'm glad that you have so much fun. I have so much fun with you. It's literally just like the perfect yin and yang or yining. We're kind of the same. Yeah, honestly. Yeah. Maybe Moses is a little bit. Yeah, he's a little yang. He's a little yang to my yang.
Starting point is 00:01:15 I'm super excited. This week we have another special guest coming on Thursday. So we decided to do a hot topics episode because I feel like there's just so much tea. And I feel like I got, you know, for so long I was like, let me be out of this drama. Let me be out of the gossip world. But I kind of miss this. It feels like, you know what? Because even when I was out of the drama, I mean, low key, you're still like back home and you're like talking about all the topics.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Like we would go through TikTok and be like the Try Guys thing. Oh, yeah. I didn't even care about them or anything. But we were gossiping about them all the time. Like we were talking about like, oh, my God. And then I would like get deep into it. I was like, oh, my God, this happened and this happened. And he took her to a concert and he was like, and then I would ask Moses, I'd be like, who
Starting point is 00:01:47 makes out with someone when you're like married at a Harry Styles concert? And I was like, it's just so, anyways, that was tea. Ned is lucky that Judge Trish was not in development during that era because we would have been on his ass. Well, I feel like everyone did. I mean, he hasn't been seen until the Taylor Swift concert. He was with her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Everyone's like, wait, what? So you're taking the mistress to Harry Styles and the wife to- And the wife to Taylor Swift. Yeah. Which is what is- I didn't really get the comparison. I just, I'm just repeating what I heard. What's like, why is one better than the other? Harry and Taylor used to date.
Starting point is 00:02:14 So it's like a little bit, and they're two kind of, they share fans, but kind of two different vibes too. Harry played the forum and Taylor was across the street at the stadium. I saw that. Where they're like the big one across the street at the stadium. I saw that. Where they're like the big one and then the littler one. Oh my God. That's interesting. I didn't know they dated. Hayler. Hayler was a very important. When was this era? Oh my, what year? It was like right before 1989 in between red. He was still in One Direction. 20, 2010? Are they the same age? I feel like Harry Styles was like 19. He's younger. He's
Starting point is 00:02:42 like the older woman. He does love older women, yeah, but something about them I just love. Will you rise with the sun to help change mental health care forever? Well, we don't, it's okay. So I heard that he doesn't label himself. Yeah. How do you take
Starting point is 00:03:54 that as? I was asking my hair and makeup artist today. I was just like asking them, um, they're gay. And I was just like, what is your take on that? When someone's like, not, they don't label themselves. They were actually like, kind of like annoyed. They're like, it's kind of annoying actually because it's like specifically, okay, let's just, let's phrase it because I'll take why it was annoying. Cause it's not annoying if you don't want to label yourself, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:04:10 But we're going to talk about the Vogue cover, which I have been seeing all over. I love Billy Porter. I actually love Harry Styles too. I'm like a new Harry Styles fan lately. But Billy Porter has been saying a lot of like statements about Harry Styles being on the cover of Vogue, which was like three years ago, right?
Starting point is 00:04:23 It was a while ago. It was a while ago. It's not new. No, not super new. But he's just like bringing it up again that he's upset. Yeah. Upset because he's saying, he said like in the quote was, he called him like, he's like a white, straight, cute boy, right?
Starting point is 00:04:34 Was like on the cover of Vogue. And he's like, it's kind of like, you know, using my community as it, you know, like obviously gay culture and stuff influences fashion very much in Vogue. And he said he had a little powwow with Anna Wintour and and was like you know hey i was like you should do this this and this and then was kind of like oh how did he end up on the cover and he was like a white straight boy and so basically they're like uh you know obviously the caucasian part didn't like bother them but they were saying it's more of like that he doesn't label himself there's like so many people who have
Starting point is 00:04:58 like come out and you know it's like really hard for them to come out i don't know i that's why i asked my gay friends because i don't know to me i'm like yeah you shouldn't label yourself but i'm like maybe it is a big deal that you're out and it's like important to at least say pansexual wayne brady you know like just it's like important for like the community if you're going to support them and represent them yeah and i know that so there's always a little bit of controversy with like harry styles because he does have like as far as like how he dresses and his style he does like have a lot of like queer like uh attributes to him and his style but then like have a lot of like queer like uh attributes to him and his style but then like he hasn't come out as straight so we can't like project that
Starting point is 00:05:29 onto him you know when i see harry on the cover of vogue like wearing a skirt or like playing with like gender norms and stuff like to me that's just harry that's like his style that's who he is so i didn't really take you don't think what are they called queer baiting no i don't think so i think yeah he does like play with like gender norms and like the way he dresses he does like have influence by like queerness and like queer culture but to me it doesn't really seem like that like it genuinely seems like that's who he is and like that's the style that he likes and he likes kind of experimenting with the different you know breaking gender norms and stuff I think that's just who he is right and I think Billy Porter's like argument was like, I was kind of like, he said, I think
Starting point is 00:06:07 he said, quote, first to do the non-binary dressing, the non-binary fashion. Yeah. And so he was a little offended that they would put Harry Styles on the cover. And I had seen a lot of backlash, surprisingly, against Billy Porter. Me too. I was kind of shocked. I was kind of like, okay, this is like an OG. Like he's struggled.
Starting point is 00:06:23 And as he said, it's not that Harry Styles like didn't have to like struggle in general in life, but he didn't have to struggle as far as like wearing a dress in public. You know, that's like very trendy now. It's very cool to wear like guys wearing dresses. It's very cool. And so I feel like with Billy Porter, maybe I think where he was coming from is more like, dang, they should have put someone that like had to struggle through it, had to like, you know, it took him a while to be able to wear a dress in public.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Yeah. The sad reality is like who's gonna sell magazines like harry styles is like such a big star right now and i it was surprising that a lot of people turned on billy porter like i wasn't really expecting that but they were dragging him through the mud yeah and i get that's the thing i get where billy porter is coming from about the end of the day it's like yeah i know why harry styles is on the cover and he isn't. It's because Harry is so popular and so famous right now. Right. So you think that's where it came at the end of the day?
Starting point is 00:07:09 Because I don't even know what the article about. Was it even about be it wasn't about being like gay or no, it's just about Harry. It's just Harry on the cover. So, OK. Yeah, I guess it's different if it was like a yeah. Yeah. Like a spread on like, you know, queerness and stuff. And like, yeah, breaking gender norms when it comes to clothing and stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:27 And yeah, like you should honor the people who like, you know, blaerness and stuff and, like, breaking gender norms when it comes to clothing and stuff, then, yeah, like, you should honor the people who, like, you know, blazed that trail for sure. But I think in the context of, like, Harry Styles as a cover star and he wanted to, you know, wear a skirt, then that's, like, Harry's prerogative, you know? For sure, yeah. I just love Billy Porter. I'm such a stan. Me too. I really like Billy Porter.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I love him. And I feel like he would look so good on Vogue because the other issue is almost, like, he didn't bring this up, but I think for me, because it's going to be older, it's like the ageism thing. How like the people that are on the covers are so young. And I get it, like selling. But I just feel like there should be like almost like honoring, not even just Billy Porter, but people who are like legends at one point. Like I never see like Dolly Parton or Cher on the cover of a magazine anymore.
Starting point is 00:07:58 And like how hot would that be to have like a spread? And like, I don't know. I don't even know the new magazines. But I feel like W or something, you know, like Cher. Like, I don't know. It'd just even know the new magazines, but I feel like W or something, you know, like share, like, I don't know. It'd just be so cool. Or Billy Porter. I just love him so much.
Starting point is 00:08:08 I'm like, God, he really doesn't get like a ton of, he does, but like doesn't, you know what I mean? I feel like he doesn't get like enough recognition for like trailblazing. And he had announced that he had to like sell his house because of the strike. Yeah. That was crazy. Yeah. Which is like, yeah, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I mean, but that's so real. That's so real. Who else was it? Oh, we were talking about Anna Nicole this morning and how she was like, basically she had no income. Like supposedly when she died, she was like broke and had no like assets to her name. And I'm like, so many people. And so many people you know and think that have like so much money.
Starting point is 00:08:38 It's like they just don't. And like just a lot of things. There's taxes. There's manager fees. You spend money. Like there's jobs in between. Because I think Billy Porter said he was supposed to be working on a new show so he's like well i'm always working there's going to be another job to pay the bills
Starting point is 00:08:49 and then when there's not which he should get a brand deal or something hopefully someone sponsors him like coca-cola or pepsi or something are they gay friendly i feel like i've never seen like a coca-cola like gay ambassador was it pepsi was the kendall jenner one where she stopped the war pepsi is the best and the worst because they did a great Britney campaign all those years. But the Kendall Jenner was crazy. I was like, God, poor Kendall. I feel like she does get attacked so much too with the Bad Bunny situation. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Everyone hates her for dating the Bad Bunny. I'm like, it's not her fault, this girl. She gets dragged a lot. You see, I am a Kendall Jenner anti. I don't know what it is. I know it's really shocking because I love supporting women. There's something about Kendall Jenner. When I was in high school, I ran into her at a Nordstrom and she kind of had an attitude
Starting point is 00:09:36 and I've never forgotten. What was the attitude? I love these interactions. I accidentally bumped into her. She was buying shoes at Nordstrom at the Topanga Mall and I accidentally bumped into her and granted we were like
Starting point is 00:09:47 she's a couple years younger than me so she must have been like 13 or something. Oh okay. But I just never I never forgave never forgot.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Totally. I don't know if there's something about her. I mean like we're talking about Taylor and Harry I love Taylor and Harry together but then
Starting point is 00:10:00 Kendall kind of slept in and dated Harry right after Taylor and there was like Kendall was a little shady towards Taylor. So I don't know. I don't know. I should think about her.
Starting point is 00:10:08 It is. Look, between us two, when I'm with Moses watching the crash, I'm like, God, Kendall adds nothing to this show. She has no flavor, no smile. And I feel horrible. I feel so bad because she gets so much hate, like, you know, dating bad buddy. And then the Pepsi thing, clearly, obviously, she didn't come up with the campaign herself. But damn, the people around her weren't like, girl, maybe not like.
Starting point is 00:10:24 No one thought this was a bad idea. Seriously. Like, that was, that's what blows my mind is when people are like giving the okay for these things. I'm just like, what? Especially because all that stuff goes through so many like rounds of like people having to sign off and okay and approve. Chris, Chris, we didn't intervene.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Yeah. That was shocking. I almost think they somewhat forget about her. Maybe Chris is so busy with like Kim and Kylie. And they're just like, whatever. You like kendall slips through the cracks maybe god and she's yeah i know god i feel i feel bad for her i don't even get this whole thing now with the bad bunny they're just like oh they just don't want her dating him yeah i think because people don't really like kendall that much and like bad bunny is like so big so famous and it's just like funny because um he most like he is really fluent in Spanish, mostly speaks Spanish.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Right. Like what are they even talking? What do they have in common? What are they talking about? For A1A Tequila. I mean, that campaign too, they dragged her through. And I'm like, I get it, but I don't get it. Because at the same time, it's like she's dressing themed for her tequila shoot.
Starting point is 00:11:19 And then everyone tried to be cultural appropriate. I don't want to speak on the Hispanic behalf. But if you have something to say, were you offended by the Kendall? I was offended just because i don't want to speak on the hispanic behalf but if you have something to say were you offended by the kendall i was offended but just because i don't like her so it's like you know anything she does you'll be offended you were offended by 13 year old kendall in a nordstrom which that one got ransacked this weekend did you see yes what do they call them smash and grabs yeah i was almost at that amc i almost want to go see the movie and i'm like thank god i didn't I go to that one all the time.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Me too. Honestly, going to malls scare me now because this happens so many places. It was like, what, YSL and Glendale and the Galleria and Century City, which is so bougie. I'm like, what is happening? I know. It's funny because I was just, for some reason, now all your old vlogs always come up in my recommended on YouTube. And I was watching the one where you were sprinting through the mall.
Starting point is 00:12:03 You were sprinting through the mall. You were sprinting through the mall. You had to go to Claire's. What? Recently? It must have been like four or five months old. Oh my God. But you were like running through Claire's and like the group, there's like groups of teens that were trying to get photos with you and Moses wasn't with you.
Starting point is 00:12:16 That was at Woodman Mall. That was like right after I gave birth and I was, okay, but that was crazy. When I was saying I was being chased through a mall, I was being chased through a mall. It was like Friday at five o'clock and I should have known better. I was like somewhere else and I was like stopping off at the Woodman Mall in Sherman Oaks. And I was like, I'm just going to go to Claire's real quick. I like was mobbed. I'm like always a little shook.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Here where I'm at, it's like not – it is. I get once in a while. But like I don't know. You go to a big city and you get mobbed. And I feel like – because I don't know if I should. I probably wasn't showing it. I feel like people might think I'm just making this up. I'm just like, wow, I'm being chased, guys.
Starting point is 00:12:44 It was crazy there was something about like you the angle was like down here and you would just look like you were so anxious and like running to get to claire's and i was like there's something about it that was so like cinematic and like thank you well i record when i feel a little uncomfortable because i'm like in case some shit goes down or something and granted they're all high schoolers. But you know what the thing is? I usually don't wear my ring out. I think, oh, I know what I was.
Starting point is 00:13:08 I was doing a podcast that day with girls. It was Trash Tuesday. And I'm like, I want to show them my ring. Like, you know, you really want to show it off. But I rarely wear my ring out for that reason. So I was just thinking like, oh my God, what if I get like, because I usually wear nothing of value. But I had my ring on that time.
Starting point is 00:13:19 And I was like, oh, no, I don't know. You just think of those things. And I was rushing. And there was just so many people. And if you stop for one, then it's just like a whole thing. And like, I love it. Like, I love it because I never get out. And I'm like, oh my no, I don't know. You just think of those things. And I was rushing. And there was just so many people. And if you stop for one, then it's just like a whole thing. And like, I love it. Like, I love it because I never get out. And I'm like, oh, my God, people still care.
Starting point is 00:13:30 It's amazing. But yeah, it is always like a little scary. It's always kind of funny, but it's always scary. But thank you for the people who still care. I'm always shook that anyone cares about anything. But I feel like with Smash and Grabs, I feel like the stores are going to just like be out of order one day. I know.
Starting point is 00:13:42 I saw your tweet too. Do you follow me on Twitter? Do you have Twitter? Are you a secret Twitter? Because you said that before. I saw your tweet too. Do you follow me on Twitter? Do you have Twitter? Are you a secret Twitter? Because you said that before and I was like, wait, you follow me on Twitter? I love that. Oh, are you secret on Twitter or no? What's your Twitter?
Starting point is 00:13:52 My name. Just ask a Gracie? Yes. I love Gracie. It sounds like, have you seen Haunted Mansion? No. The new one? No.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Yeah. It's Gracie Manor. The guy who like, yeah, the mansion is named after the ghost Gracie. Is he Hispanic? Is Gracie Hispanic? I don't hispanic is it a Hispanic name I think it's technically like I there's a lot of Irish people named Gracie but it's like Gracie yeah my dad's Peruvian so it has to be what's your mom my mom's Cuban ah hablo espanol un poquito really you don't do it fluently no I used to i was like rebellious as when i was little and every time they would try to teach me spanish i'd be like no i don't want to i always hear that
Starting point is 00:14:30 always like my friends too their kids like don't want to speak spanish even though they speak spanish please please please speak spanish to your kids like literally anyone who speaks spanish i'm like can you just speak spanish to my daughter because like i want her to learn spanish so bad and don't listen to your kids if they tell you that they're over it and don't want to learn because now i wish i did right it's like so useful i feel like it's like the number one country like like language in the world i mean especially in la like everyone totally i think it's just like so helpful to know i always think people who know two languages are so smart like moses speaks hebrew which is like not spoken by a lot of people but i still think it's so smart i'm like wow two
Starting point is 00:15:00 languages like that's so it is impressive yeah yeah so like how do you switch i always ask people who like speak two languages i'm like how are you switching are you switching in your head are you constantly translating like how are you switching because i have to like think about it i took ulpan which is like a hebrew class this summer and i like have to like think really hard about like translating into hebrew but i feel like spanish and like they just kind of flip it they just switch it you know like at a moment so it is yeah and it's hard to because there's like there's feminine and masculine so you have to know like if it ends with the a or ends with the o there's so many like yeah things to learning spanish i think every language is like that except english because like hebrews like that too there's
Starting point is 00:15:32 so much masculine feminine plural is different like it's crazy i don't know i like love i want to speak spanish so bad and i would love to have like i'm really into spanish music lately i feel like every time i see you i talk about the guests i want i don't know what it is i guess when i glam we listen to a lot of like, I don't know, like what is the word? Like what's the genre? Isn't it just Latin music?
Starting point is 00:15:50 Latin music maybe? Like Carol G, Becky G, Callie Uchis, Lunay, Bad Bunny. Baja Fest was just this weekend and one of my best friends
Starting point is 00:15:58 was down there and so I'm like watching their stories. I'm just like really, I think because I listen to it in the morning, so I'm like, I want all of them on our Shoddy Bay.
Starting point is 00:16:04 I know she's not into music, but she just did a collab with Callie Uchis. And I was like, I want them on my podcast. So maybe, I don't know if I, I just, I just would love to speak Spanish. I had a Spanish song. Did you know this? No. Wait, really? I did.
Starting point is 00:16:16 I recorded Freaky in Spanish. Oh, wait. Yes. I just, I didn't know that. Yes. I thought you meant like, I was thinking like in my head, I go to like your Selena era when it was you kicking your feet and you had the breath.
Starting point is 00:16:26 I see that all over TikTok. I love it. Trisha, our Latina queen. I still haven't done 23andMe. I'm just like convinced. I feel like there has to be something exciting in me. I actually have no idea what I am. I've been told Hungarian.
Starting point is 00:16:35 I've been told Greek. I've been told Moroccan. I did a test one time that was Moroccan and like no one believes me. So I'm trying to do like another one to like, because my parents don't have any Moroccan in them. So I'm like, am I adopted? I'm like, what? I'm going to do it one more to like because my parents don't have any Moroccan in them so I'm like am I adopted or like what I'm gonna do it one more time I feel like I I don't know when you end up being Latina I'm gonna scream I would this may sound I just I would I just wish
Starting point is 00:16:52 I had something you know like I wish I had culture I wish I had something to grow I just don't know who I am maybe that's part of my identity issue I'm not sure but um I think my bunny and Kendall are cute I guess I mean I thought they'd be by now. I was shocked that they're still together and they're at the Drake concert having, like, a great time and, like, being all cute and, like, you know, a little PDA. And Kim being, like, the third wheel. Oh, Kim was there? Kim was with them, yeah. And, like, she was, like, dancing and her skims.
Starting point is 00:17:18 This is skims. I love skims. Skims. I've ordered so much skims. I want to try. Do they have guy skims? I think they do, right? Or like at least gender neutral.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They definitely do. They need more though because I always look for like Moza. He like doesn't know how to eat. I'm like, I wish he had skims for that. But I think they have like basic stuff for guys like sweats and stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Good American, however, Chloe's. I used to love it. But that skirt I wore, which you guys are going to see on the next episode. I have a guess on. I'm wearing this black skirt. We had to pin it because the zipper didn't zip. And it wasn't. It was stretchy.
Starting point is 00:17:44 It was my size. It was everything. And the zipper just did not zip. And it wasn't – it was stretchy. It was my size. It was everything. And the zipper just did not zip. So good American. And it's expensive. It was not Fashion Nova. It was expensive and it broke. But speaking of Drake.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. Okay, well, I'm a Drake fan also. I know we don't like him because of Taylor. But also people are like, can you stop mentioning Taylor and The Weeknd every episode? And I'm sorry. It's just – it's just in my blood. But the Drake and – yeah, okay. So Drake and it's just in my, in my blood. But the Drake and yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Okay. So Drake and Bobby, which is like breaking news this morning. I was already on TikTok about it because I've like followed this. I was so like envious of Bobby. I was like, first of all,
Starting point is 00:18:12 I still am. I think she's like a hip hop podcast now because she has like Tyga, Offset. Yeah. She has a lot of rappers. Yeah. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:18:19 where did, but also Mark Cuban just randomly in there. Yeah. Who is this? I still think industry plant because I'm like, how are you gonna have all these rappers
Starting point is 00:18:24 but then Mark Cuban slides in in there did you read her cosmopolitan interview no oh see like i was after because you're the one that introduced me to bobby so then i really had a deep dive and like got some answers so she said that she's definitely not a nepo baby not a plant like she grew up really poor but she made a tiktok one saying i'll give 300 to anyone who helps me. And that's how she's gotten everything. And then Drake followed her because of an interview she did with a comedian. And then she DM'd. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:51 And then she just DM'd Drake and that's how she did. But still something. Well, I heard they have the same agent. She's like signed to WME, which is a huge deal, by the way. William Morris Endeavors is like does not just sign anyone. Like they always sign like mainstream people only. And it's like very hard. Like you have to even like get a referral to.
Starting point is 00:19:08 I've never been able to do it. Even some of the biggest youtubers you know have never been able to do it I think like maybe Shane at the height of his career was with William Morris like when he was like the height height so it's like really hard to do unless you like know someone I think and like her podcast like didn't I don't know I have a feeling yes I've seen her on TikTok before but it just seems a little odd um however good marketing play i like to put it out there now i'll give five hundred dollars to anyone who can connect us to guests that we like so if it's lunay if it's the weekend if it's taylor swift if it's britney spears who has a new book coming out five hundred dollars gerard way donny osmond because that's a good tactic is that like i guess it's legal right i guess so yeah i mean it's like a referral fee yeah which is that three hundred300 doesn't seem that much
Starting point is 00:19:45 to get like, you know what I mean? Like that was, wouldn't be that much incentive for me. Like who's funny Marco? Was he big? I don't know. I don't know either. Cause they're like $300 for that. And I was like, well, I guess if it's like, if it was like the weekend, I mean, yeah, if you connect me, we can, I'll give you a thousand dollars. If you give me Brittany a thousand. Okay. If there's like top tier, but we should do like a little pyramid. Yeah. So then I wonder, I was like, Hey, so Drake, they unfollowed each other this morning, which is like crazy. And I was like on Twitter trying to figure out.
Starting point is 00:20:09 And then someone took down the interview, obviously Bobby or her team or something like that. And there's so many, I was like, I don't think there's any theories yet. My initial theory was like, well, first I was like money, but maybe that doesn't make sense because obviously he just did it for fun. But I was like, maybe he didn't like one of the rappers that she interviewed. Or maybe he's like, oh, she made a lot of money off this. Or I heard someone else. This is just a random theory. There's no actual like evidence that someone's like, oh the rappers that she interviewed or maybe he's like oh she made a lot of money off this or i heard someone else this is just a random theory there's no actual
Starting point is 00:20:27 like evidence that someone's like oh he wanted to sleep with her and so she unfollowed i don't know what do you think do you know there was and there's no like it's all speculation right now i saw a lot of people speculate that she posted this tiktok where she was like in character at drake's concert where she like was just standing like looking kind of like pissed off and like wanting to leave the same concert that bad Bunny and Kendall like all them were at I don't know if it was the same one because she doesn't live in she doesn't live in LA no I don't think so but yeah she posted a TikTok where she was just like standing like looking like on it like she wasn't into the concert at all but I think she was in character right so people like
Starting point is 00:20:59 a lot of the comments were like wow like after she interviews Drake she's out here like acting like this at the con oh my god my God. People are so stupid. Yeah. But that is, like, so, like, dumb that there has to be something else going on. What is it? Did you look at it? Because you said you looked into it. Was there any other, like, tea?
Starting point is 00:21:13 No. That's literally all. That was the only thing that I saw consistently. It was just, like, the TikTok at the concert. Like, why unfollow each other? Why take down the interview? Yeah. That had 10 million?
Starting point is 00:21:23 Yeah. And it was probably making so much money like it's so bizarre i've never heard of that no me unless it's like they didn't sign like maybe he didn't sign i don't know he's pissed or something and they didn't sign you know i was telling you what are those called the release forms wouldn't have been like the day out like as it was getting human like big and stuff you know i don't know it's odd. The whole thing was so weird to me. I was like, what? Like, if he asked for it to take it down, I wouldn't have taken it down. Like, unless...
Starting point is 00:21:49 Really? Like, unless he sued me or something like that? Yeah, if we get Ariana and then she asks us to take down the Just Trish podcast exclusive... Then we need a release if Ariana comes on. Why do I feel like she will? Because I feel like we can give her like, what do they call them? Pluck pieces. Oh my god, 100%. Yeah, like, everyone's coming for her. We'll be like, like, what do they call them? Fluff pieces. Yeah, I hope they got 100%.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Yeah, like, everyone's coming for her. We'll be like, Ariana, you're not that bad, girl. Everyone does it. You know, like, the friends, like, we get it. The Battle of Ontario's on. Then FanDuel's your home for live betting the series with features like live SGPs, build a parlay any game, any period, or stack multiple matchups onto one slip with Same Game Parlay Plus.
Starting point is 00:22:22 And what's better than playoff hockey? Overtime playoff hockey. Get more from the game with live overtime markets. How can you resist Spongebob? Like that temptation. Everybody would do it in your position. And I feel like you're the only one who like at least sees a little bit of Ethan Slater. Everyone else has been like anti-Ethan Slater. Yeah. But you've been the only person I talk to who has been like.
Starting point is 00:22:54 I get it. I get it. Like, I mean, Broadway actors are like this whole other realm for me. They're always stuck up. They always have a big head because girls want him. Like girls wanted Ethan Slater. Like he has been like hot. He's talented.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Like people like him. It's like, but it's like a tale as old as time with Broadway, like Christian Borle, all these guys who are maybe like not the Brad Pitt's or whatever. But she seems to like the people that aren't the Brad Pitt's. A lot of girls do. A lot of girls prefer guys that are just unique looking. I don't know. Hot guys can be boring sometimes.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Yeah. To like look at. There's so many of them. I don't know. I see like a hot guy and I'm just like, it's kind of boring. i don't know i see like a hot guy and i'm just like it's kind of boring i don't know i like different yeah i'm like trying to be supportive oh you like the hot guys no not really for myself i think i just see like a girl that i like and i want her to be with someone who's like hot but also like interesting and like you know has layers and stuff and those guys exist i think yeah but it's like ariana with like and like, you know. But doesn't that make you like her more?
Starting point is 00:23:46 You're like, this is beautiful girl. I'm like, let's do better. No. Let's like, look, we can have anyone we want. Like, let's go back to the drawing board. Like, let's. Bad Bunny, maybe. At least Kendall Jenner.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I don't like the girl, but she'll date someone who's hot. And for that, I can at least get props or props to do. Yeah, yeah, for sure. So I respect her for it. But I love Ariana just going for like the Pete Davidsons and those kind of guys, you know. That is her brand, I guess, since the beginning of – literally the beginning of time. I love it. I think that's good.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I also think it's like non-threatening to other – well, she obviously is threatening to other girls. But I was going to say non-threatening because you're like, oh, she likes those guys, whatever. I don't know. I think it's cute. But we have Pink Cloud coming. I wanted it to be here today. I wanted the little Pink Cloud Ariana. But I love her. I feel like she could come on. I feel like she. I think it's cute. But we have pink cloud coming. I wanted it to be here today. I wanted the little pink cloud Ariana. But I love her.
Starting point is 00:24:26 I feel like she could come on. I feel like she would be into it. I'm so excited to smell. But also we've been getting the name wrong this whole time. It's cloud pink. It's a pink cloud. I didn't realize. Cloud pink?
Starting point is 00:24:35 I know. Pink cloud sounds so much better. Pink cloud is like an actual weather like thing. Because I like Googled it. And there's like a pink cloud. Like there's an actual. Like a weather phenomenon. Yeah. Yeah. Like it's a pink cloud i've seen it i don't know there's no ariana updates right she's just like advertising she has like a new album yeah just releasing the
Starting point is 00:24:52 fragrance and that's about it and she has like music coming because i think she posted on instagram like nothing's going on oh yeah she's doing her like a special for the anniversary of her first album oh okay yeah i think just I'm assuming it's a little YouTube show. I don't know. But she's doing like a, she's revisiting her first album for the anniversary. Okay, I love that.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Is Wicked done then or just want pause? I think they had a little bit left, but I don't think they needed Ariana anymore for it. So she's done. Yeah. She's done.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Yeah. We didn't talk about this before, but there's other movie news that I wanted to get your take on. Movie news? Are there movies out? Well, there's a new Disney live action that is in development. Is it Snow White?
Starting point is 00:25:30 No. Taking a pause from the Snow White. I'm still annoyed. I'm so annoyed. And I know everyone's dogpiling her and everyone's like actually feeling sorry for her now. But I'm like, stop. Just stop with this production. Literally, I can't see that movie.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Anyway. God, it's really – like who's not helping her with PR? And I'm sorry. Everyone's like, oh, she was plucked from obscurity. she doesn't know what she's talking about i'm like no she was in west side story she's in the new hunger game like she's big she was in shazam too like she's so i'm gonna save like my today this morning i realized my mission in life is to save rachel zegler i think i'm gonna do it it's not that i don't even love her i don't really know her right i just see something about her and like i see she is like cringe and
Starting point is 00:26:05 like a little awkward and like i don't really vibe with her myself but i just feel like i need to do like i need to intervene like do something and we got to turn it around i don't know how i'm gonna do it but i think she needs to just stop snow white and like go to the next thing like be excited to be a brave leader in hunger games you're gonna be an excellent young katniss that's her calling she wants to do that go she is she She's in Hunger Games, so go for it. I saw one, not to go back on this. This is a new one
Starting point is 00:26:28 that we haven't talked about of her being like, the prince was like stalking her. I knew you were going to bring this up. Oh my God, cute West Side Story and Tony and like,
Starting point is 00:26:35 I'm like, wait, what the heck? Like, why are you so against this? It's so bizarre to me. It's so bizarre to me. I actually don't get it. I don't get it at all. And I don't get why
Starting point is 00:26:43 no one's stepping in. Like, how come no one is stepping in? I mean, these were all like, all these interviews were all happening in the same, literally the same carpet at the same event. No, no. There was different ones. There was one of her on the carpet and then there's one of her sitting in a chair.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Yes, the pink background. Yes. So there's at least two different ones. Okay, okay. I'll give you the two. But these are all like the same time. And I feel like, I don't know. I think she just got too into the whole like you
Starting point is 00:27:05 know the whole angle the girl bossery of snow white it was like it was just a little too late you know like if that if this was girl bossery of snow white like five years ago people would be like slay we love we stand we support it's just a little too late she just doesn't get it yeah i think she gets it now she gets it now you think Yeah, because she's been tweeting and she's sad. Oh, she has? Yeah. What is she saying? I don't know. She's just been tweeting about asking people to show kindness to each other. It's been vague, but also she knows that everyone hates her.
Starting point is 00:27:34 She's like, show kindness to me, please. Yes. And I don't know. I'm going to mark my words, everyone, just for listeners. By the time the Hunger Games movie comes out, she's going to be America's sweetheart.'s because gonna be because of me i don't know what i'm gonna do i don't know what i'm gonna do but i'm gonna do something i have advice rachel zagler rachel you were a youtuber you started out as a youtuber she's posting covers still like you should just like go on there and like explain your thought you know and be honest about it i think it was also just like the her
Starting point is 00:28:00 delivery like watching it like irritates you so much which like uh it's not 1937 anymore like the way she's so and like laughs I think it's just like I don't know if she's nervous or what it I don't know what it is and she's just very theatrical too and like I think she just got really swept into the whole girl bossery it's just too much it's too late like we've already the girl
Starting point is 00:28:20 boss wave has passed so yeah we had that with Barbie I just also think like how can you not be arrogant when you get all these huge roles so quickly like she was like west side story like unknown you know and then she gets to so i feel like there is arrogance to her but i think like who wouldn't be i feel like there's arrogance to me you know what i mean because i have a set in my basement i'm like oh my gosh i am wendy a 200 000 views a video which is like great for me so you can't tell me anything i probably would be the same i'd probably be like wow all these other podcasters are so boring.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Just Trish is so funny. Because I feel that way. Sometimes I watch podcasts and I'm like, oh, they're so boring. I just see that. There's so many podcasts. Everyone is doing a podcast. I know. I feel like sometimes it's too easy to get a podcast, Mike.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I say this as we're sitting here with all the production. It's too easy to get a podcast. Sometimes it's too easy. I love it. And I love holding it. I feel so powerful. I feel like I'm hosting TRL or something like I love holding a mic. A microphone is a powerful thing because you really do feel like everyone needs to listen to what you have to say. Margot Robbie kind of talked about this a few weeks ago, pre-Sag Strike, but her original pick to play the main Barbie was actually Gal Gadot which is crazy and then
Starting point is 00:29:25 Gal Gadot she couldn't do it because of scheduling but she said that if there's a sequel or anything in the future that she would do it. What was she doing that she was scheduling? I don't know she's in a new Netflix movie so I guess maybe that and she would turn out Barbie? Yeah there's like 3 or 4 movies coming out now Gal Gadot. Really? Yeah
Starting point is 00:29:42 I keep seeing like 4 different posters 4 different projects. I've never seen a movie she was in. Have we seen a movie she was in? We didn't. What's her big one? Wonder Woman, right?
Starting point is 00:29:50 The new one is Cleopatra. Oh, yeah. People are mad about the Cleopatra. I feel like she gets like a little unnecessary hate too. I mean, that's a whole
Starting point is 00:29:59 other thing. That's political. That's like Israel. But I don't know. I just don't see her in anything. And I feel like she is an industry plant.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Yeah. Can you imagine her as Barbie though though like that would have the whole thing would have been so different so different i don't think it would be or amy schumer as barbie like that was the og barbie which would have been so i just can't like and i don't mind amy schumer i actually like like her but i just can't picture her as barbie no margaret barbie is just such a perfect looking barbie and just fits that world so perfectly yeah it's crazy that she wouldn't have i guess maybe she's just being humble like to not pick herself as like the first you know have herself be the first choice to play barbie how are you gonna be the executive producer barbie when you look like barbie and be like oh no it
Starting point is 00:30:34 should be gal gadot it's like beautiful but also like not the barbie people were mad there was no fat kens there was uh like chris evans brother was like he's not really though he's like plus size is you think i thought about it too because especially when that was my first time when i tens there was uh like chris evans brother was like he's not really though he's like plus size i thought about it too because especially when that was my first time when i watched it i was like there's so much like body diversity when it comes to the barbies but for like the cans there wasn't much i think there was just one plus size barbie there wasn't that much diversity right and i think in like the background i feel like there was oh was there more yeah there was one plus size barbie and there's two there was because the bridsized Barbie, and she's, like... There's two. There was... Because the Bridgerton girl, and then... Oh.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Like, the redhead... Who was the main one? Was she anybody? The main plus-sized Barbie? I don't remember her name. I don't think I've seen her in anything else. I liked her. I thought she was cute. Yeah. I just didn't like that they put her in, like, leggings, like, in that one scene where they're all in swimsuits. Oh, yeah. And I was kind of like... I guess for me, like, when I'm, like, seeing a bigger girl, I'm just like, oh, I had to wear leggings
Starting point is 00:31:21 when no one else had to. I mean, granted, none of them were wearing, like, bikinis, but all the other ones got to be sexy and that triggers me so much because in school plays they always put me in like the frumpy like wearing pants like wearing whatever and I'm just like oh man I really wish they would do like plus size normies like we watch a lot of I keep talking about this to Malin but we watch a lot of home improvement and I'm like gosh I wish I could be like the tool time girl like Pamela Anderson was the tool time girl she was like so hot and skinny I'm like I wish I could just be the tool time girl but like be big and still be considered like hot and skinny you never see a big girl as like hot ever it's so sad but I guess it's just
Starting point is 00:31:50 the world I think we talk about this a million times when people are annoyed they're like oh my god stop talking about it but it is like I don't know I guess it's on my head I'm always I literally didn't eat dinner last night I gained a pound I was like I'm gonna be so skinny I just had eggs yesterday and this morning I woke up and I'm like I gained a pound all I had was eggs and a tortilla I'm like how and I did not eat any dinner I swam morning I woke up and I'm like, I gained a pound. All I had was eggs and a tortilla. I'm like, how? And I did not eat any dinner. I swam. We went on a walk.
Starting point is 00:32:08 I was like, wow, I'm just, I give up. It's fine. I haven't claimed my fate as a fatty, but. That's why I never weigh myself. I kind of just go on vibes. I shouldn't. I know. I shouldn't have.
Starting point is 00:32:17 I was like, well, I'm feeling skinny. I didn't eat. And I literally gained a pound. I was like. See, I never step on the scale. That's hard. Yeah. And I work out a lot, but I work out a lot and I'll never – it all goes by like whatever I'm feeling.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Like if I feel – like I always say, it's the state of mind. Like if I feel – Yeah. What like looks good on you and stuff like that. Yeah. Speaking of fatties, I'm a fatty so I mean this. I'll say Lizzo. Like did you hear she is like – so okay, here's – okay, we talked about her but
Starting point is 00:32:40 like she was pulled from like the Super Bowl which I don't know what that means. Was she like supposed to play the Super Bowl? I heard – the statement I heard from Lizzo's team was that she was never – like, those conversations were not happening, that she was going to be performing at the Super Bowl. Oh, so why did they make that as a headline? It was, like, a rumor, I think, that she was up for the Super Bowl or slash someone kind of just ran with it. But then, like, her team said that that was never going to happen. And then – so now what's the state of that? More people came out, right, about being about being like yeah she was awful to us yeah i think there was the last i heard there was three more people
Starting point is 00:33:08 that were gonna that were coming forward as far as a part of like the lawsuit that's going on against her oh so they joined it so it's not being backed down because i saw like on twitter like there was like an interview with tmz with the original like people and people were like not about it they're like oof no that's like weird which was i don't know it wasn't like what were they just saying they were like well she didn't really say we lose our job but it was more about them being uncomfortable right it wasn't about being fired yeah i think too like the the like actual lawsuit like reading it comes across very very differently and then also like anything that they do press wise can be used like on like liz of the defense so it's like you should
Starting point is 00:33:41 just like let the lawsuit yeah why do people do that like when you're in a lawsuit why are they speak up there's sometimes where maybe they feel like maybe they can't win so it's like but it's like it becomes a pr thing too like so if they like run such a good like pr campaign that they make lizzo look worse and worse then it makes them it'll make lizzo want to like settle versus like because then they kind of just want it to end you know right but she's like she's kind of not she kind of did the non-apology. She was just kind of like, I'm not, like, I didn't do anything wrong kind of thing. Which, I mean, I guess if you didn't, like, good, just like due to your convictions, but. Oh, another casting story that I want to get a Trish take on that I'm very excited about.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Yes. Oh, yeah. So another Disney live action, not Snow White. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. Did we talk about this? I know. I was like, oh, my God, there's so much.
Starting point is 00:34:23 There's a live action Rapunzel that's reportedly in the works. Yes, I saw this. And allegedly Florence Pugh is the first choice to play. What? No. What? No. There's been this viral Twitter casting for like years.
Starting point is 00:34:38 And it's like someone put a photo of Florence Pugh like as a kid like as a teenager long hair short hair with the brown hair yeah and put it next to Rapunzel and like now this might actually be a thing
Starting point is 00:34:51 but she's isn't Rapunzel supposed to be like a teenager isn't she supposed to be like younger yes yes she has like her mother
Starting point is 00:34:57 is like watching over her yeah how does she she's weird yeah she's too old yeah coming from someone who's old
Starting point is 00:35:03 like she's way too old like I always wanted to be Charlotte from Princess and the Frog. Oh, yeah. No. What? And by the time this movie films, she'd be probably, like, 28, 29. No. The Disney princesses need to be young, like, for sure.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Like, they're very youthful. Anyways, all the Disney princesses are, like, 16. They're all very young. So they need to look like that. Also, I feel like if you've been in a movie where someone goes down on you, like, very explicitly, you should not be a Disney princess. Like, you know what I mean? Like, it's weird. And so that's why we're just talking about
Starting point is 00:35:26 don't worry darling I was talking about this morning and I was like it doesn't like you just don't have that Disney vibe anymore it's kind of like Lily James she did the Pam and Tommy and I was kind of like this is kind of weird like you were Cinderella and now you're like doing this which is like I get it you don't have to be Disney forever but I think once you're a princess you should kind of uphold the princess values right because it's kind of jarring so like Florence Pugh what like I feel like that's like some weird PR thing maybe she started she tweeted it I know nothing about her I have no nothing about her she kind of came out of nowhere right kind of yeah I think her first thing was was a little women or like mid Samar and then she kind
Starting point is 00:35:57 of like took off after that she's like Shakespearean actress she's been like nominated for an Oscar since like her first movie I think really. Really? Yeah. Oh, well, good for her. Yeah. She was good in Don't Worry Don't. She's in Marvel now. She's like a Marvel hero now. Oh, what one? She's Black Widow. She's like the new Scarlett Johansson. Oh, oh, right.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Because Scarlett kind of came for them and was like, I'm streaming Disney, right? Yeah. For the streaming or something? Yeah. That movie was awful anyways. Like whoever was streaming Black Widow was like, it was the worst movie. Did you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Wait, you like superheroes? I do. I do. But I mean, specifically women. It's like my thing. I love women superheroes. I get really excited. Even if it was bad, just seeing them fight was fun for me.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I was like, I want to be just like them. Really? Yeah, something about it. I love the female spy thing. I love when they beat men up. It gets me so excited. What? Did you watch Harriet the Spy? Yeah, of course. That was the ultimate spy when she was like Rosie O'Donnell. That was like my dream role.
Starting point is 00:36:49 If they ever remake Harriet the Spy, I'll be Rosie O'Donnell's role for sure. Let's get Rosie on the show. I don't think Rosie would like me, but I love Rosie O'Donnell. And I love Rosie O'Donnell now on TikTok. I've always loved her. She's great. Do you think she'd come on? I think it's worth a shot. DM her. I don't think she would like me. I don't think, you know, there's certain people
Starting point is 00:37:05 and I totally get it why people don't like me. I never actually take it personally. People are like, oh, never. But yeah, it wasn't,
Starting point is 00:37:10 I saw something where like Rachel Zegler hate was being compared to like, was it Brie Larson? Oh, yeah. And why did people hate her? They didn't want her on some Marvel.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Because when she was kind of similar when she was in Captain Marvel, like she was very like off-putting in interviews and like press and stuff. Like she just wasn't like very warm and it was kind Captain Marvel. Like, she was very, like, off-putting in interviews and, like, press and stuff. Like, she just wasn't, like, very warm. And it was kind of similar where, like,
Starting point is 00:37:29 her interviews made people hate her. Yeah, like, that's the thing. I feel like you have to be so, I think you have to have, like, 50% talent and then 50%, like, likability. Because I think people, like, love Jennifer Aniston, not because she's, like, she always plays the same role in every movie. But people think she looks nice. Same thing with Adam Sandler. Like, he just seems nice. So people are like, thing with Adam Sandler. Like he just seems nice.
Starting point is 00:37:45 So people are like, we love Adam Sandler. They're not great actors, right? But they like love them. And I think that's like half the battle. I think the only person who can get away with it kind of is Leonardo DiCaprio. But even now people kind of side eye him when he's dating all these young people. And kind of like, what are you doing? Like he's like a great actor.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And people are like, no, we don't like that, you know? Yeah. I think, I mean, it's also kind of reminds me of the barbie monologue too because it's like i know it's even harder for like women because you have to be like like you know funny and like you have to be sexy and pretty and like but not too sexy and blah blah blah but i think in general even for men like you have to have like a likability factor like even like maybe like a timothy chalamet like he's, like, quirky and dancing. Oh, people like him? Yeah. Oh, I don't.
Starting point is 00:38:26 I've never seen him, but I don't like him. Just showing the Willy Wonka? Yeah. Oh, that's the only thing I've seen him in. And I'm like, no, thank you. Pass immediately. I don't get it. I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:38:36 I was trying to, okay, literally ask someone, like, explain the appeal of Timmy Chalamet. And, like, that person couldn't. Because I love Timmy Chalamet. Why? They had zero. Like, what is the appeal? Give me one, like like ability about him. I'm not a Timmy C truther.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Timmy C? There is like. I'll have him on the podcast if he wants to come on. We should. Yeah. Yeah. Again, we don't have to talk about any acting stuff. Just like get to the bottom of it.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Oh, yeah. If you're like an actor and want to come on, we don't have to talk about like Iron Grande. I just want to talk about Cloud Pink. That's it. I think Timmy, he kind of has like this. There's something about him where like I think maybe his jawline is like super like sharp and he has the hair and the way there was this one TikTok like
Starting point is 00:39:10 last year where he just like looked up and he like he looked up at a fan and that was like he was on a carpet they were like way in the back he like looked up they're recording he goes he like did a little nod and it was like everyone thought it was the hottest thing in the world and I was like okay Jensey's weird he has like a little bit of like a Harry Styles element to him where he like you know dresses like a little flamboyant and he's just kind of like hot and I don't know I get it I get it which is cool like that's I guess where I was saying earlier is like my makeup artist was telling me he's just like you know when I was like young like I would have loved to have like expressed my femininity more like they can't so I think there's like frustration to it going back
Starting point is 00:39:44 to like the higher styles thing seeing this now it's like dang like I wish I could have loved to have like expressed my femininity more and like they cancel I think there's like frustration to it going back to like the higher styles thing seeing this now it's like dang like I wish I could have been like that age being like you know who I was and like not get made fun of for it because like I mean seriously like when we were growing up well I'm a little older than you but when I was growing up like it really was like people hid so much like even if you were a little feminine people just like ripped you apart if you had like long hair they're like oh you're like a girl like it's crazy how things change which is good it's more the better like I love that like you know fluidity is like hot right now and now there's like straight guys wearing like the highest like
Starting point is 00:40:10 you know chelsea boots with like the heels because the hair the hair styles effect it's it does look cool and that's a cool on guys i think when you see that kind of stuff i'm like oh i've always loved like non-binary fashion too i think it's cool when you can like gender bend i'm even for my daughter i love like going into like the boy section, like the little like overalls and stuff like that. I bought her some stuff. I think it's so cute. Florence Pugh though as Rapunzel. There's another girl.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Have you ever watched Never Have I Ever on Netflix? No. What's her name? Maybe I'll know her name. Maitri Ramakrishnan. She has been like wanting to be Rapunzel. She's been really going hard, like trying to manifest her playing Rapunzel.
Starting point is 00:40:44 I love that. Like she's been tweeting about it, but trying to manifest her playing Rapunzel. I love that. Like she's been talking, like tweeting about it. But then there's been her like last run of interviews this past couple of months. She's been saying how it's like her dream role and how much she would like it. Well, it worked for Ariana.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Ariana did that with Wicked. Yeah, I mean, might as well manifest it. And she was saying how it makes sense for like a South Asian girl to play Rapunzel because like- What's South Asia? What country?
Starting point is 00:41:03 Oh, she's Sri Lankan. So yeah, she was saying how it'd be cool for like a South Asian girl because she says no one knows what it feels like to be trapped in a room not able to go out because your mother is telling you no without giving you an actual proper reason like brown girls do I kind of love that too yeah when uh ET interviewed her a couple maybe last month she. She was, like, already growing out her hair. She was, like, in purple. Oh. And I really want her to get it.
Starting point is 00:41:26 She seems so sweet. How old is she? She's young. I think in her early 20s. Oh, my God. I kind of live for that. I think that's cool. Because I don't think Rapunzel is, like, necessarily based anywhere, right?
Starting point is 00:41:37 There's no, like, location for Rapunzel. Because I know sometimes, like, Aladdin is, like, you know, Agrabah. But I don't think there's, like, a location. Yeah. Belle was French. Or it's, like, specific geographically. Yeah. I think that, I can see But I don't think there's like a location. Yeah. Or it's like specific geographically. Yeah. I think I can see that.
Starting point is 00:41:46 And she has long hair already growing out. Yeah. She's growing. She's like really trying to manifest it. And she says she like every time she makes a wish on 11-11, like that's her wish. Oh my God. Give it to her. I know.
Starting point is 00:41:56 I want her to get it. Give it to her. It's so sad though because like people, even her just saying she wants to be Rapunzel, there's like people being racist about like her playing Rapunzel. I feel like people need to get over that it's like oh my god that is like crazy that's even a thing
Starting point is 00:42:08 I know I'm just really hoping that Disney gives it to her she seems so sweet and she like loves the role and that's what matters unlike Rachel Zegler with Snow White
Starting point is 00:42:16 I like people who are excited about their princess and the fact that she's already talking hyped about it yeah so here Jess Trish is endorsing yeah how do you say her
Starting point is 00:42:25 name matri ramakrishnan matri ramakrishnan i love the name yeah it's a beautiful name never she's really cute never have i ever it's a cute little teen show it's on netflix yeah mindy kaling is like the writer on it yeah it's cute mindy kaling yeah so much weight she said it was not ozempic everyone's on ozempic man it's crazy they look so good but you know sometimes i get a little sad i mean i'm happy for them trust me if i could lose 100 pounds i would and i always love when like someone bigger lose weight because i know they probably feel great but i always feel a little sad i feel like we lost one you know especially mindy kaling because she was i feel like she was a pretty good representative like representative of like
Starting point is 00:43:00 being she definitely wasn't like big no but like not being skinny yeah and not being a main that wasn't like a main focus of her character in the office you know what i mean like it wasn't like or even the mindy project like it wasn't really a focus on her being yeah like she was so in many projects she was still getting men like she was still living her life she was still dressing cute she was pretty like hot she was just living her and successful you know that's what i would love to see i'm gonna go one just trish episode with not talking about my weight or my body i really am because i really don't like it to be the focus i mean it's so all i focus on but i love when it's like not the focus for these things yeah
Starting point is 00:43:31 that would be amazing that would be so cool i would love to play mother gothel in tangled oh my god it made sure that let's just that would be everything oh my god i love it i just think that's like uh her role is so iconic i'll take it. I don't think Disney would ever put me in a film. I mean, I feel like I'm a little, I'm like the Florence Pugh, but like real life. Don't worry, darling. Well, maybe if they cast Florence Pugh, then that would make sense for you, you know? Yeah, I'd do it. I would so do it.
Starting point is 00:43:56 I like her. We'll take back everything we say about Florence if they cast you in the role. I'm in it. I'm on it. I do love Disney movies. I wish I could be in one, but I think I'm past the wholesome family. We have to talk about Little Tay, too. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:44:07 The Little Tay story. You said you did a deep dive in Little Tay. I know nothing about Little Tay. I know nothing about her. I mean, I know she's like a 14-year-old that kind of has like – she was kind of like another loud, right? She's just like loud and flexing her money and just being like – Yeah, and I think when she started, she was – I think she eight eight or nine oh my god i didn't know that yeah she's trying to be like a bad baby kind of yeah because it was around the era when baby was like fresh off
Starting point is 00:44:34 dr phil you know it was like that it was like her it was little tay bad baby whoa vicky it was like that whole era where they're all just like coming up i don't really i don't get it like why was that such an appeal even baby who makes so much money like bad baby's killing it I know she makes like 100 million dollars or something but it's like what is the appeal of that and I don't think that's me being old I honestly I'm just like I don't get it even if I was like a little kid I don't think I'd like vibe with people being rude to their parents or rude to people I don't know I think there's a whole different I mean there's like two sides of it where it's like there is that whole like demo that I think like is into that stuff you know and then there's like there is that whole like demo that i think like is into that
Starting point is 00:45:05 stuff you know and then there's like the other demo everyone was just like shocked especially it was so shocking because she's like a little kid who was like being so inappropriate and like saying a whole bunch of controversial like racist stuff flashing money pretending that she owns all these houses and stuff yeah and which is like you said it was the mom was like showing these houses and there's so many weird layers to lil tay and i hope one day the trick whatever is really happening comes out because i think regardless it's bad for her as a 14 year old or eight year old it's like being coached to say that thing whether because she's it's really not acting it's more like trolling if you're like pretending to be this character. Or maybe she is or maybe someone whatever.
Starting point is 00:45:45 But if you're even being coached to be like that, I feel like it's like abusive to the kid. Yeah. So she is alive. She is alive. So yeah. So Lil Tay was like hoaxed. Like basically it was like Lil Tay died. I saw.
Starting point is 00:45:56 I saw Woviki post and be like, RIP Lil Tay. TMZ. I'm like, how is TMZ reporting this and not confirming? The whole thing was so bizarre because all of a sudden Lil Tay's instagram account posted this statement that her and her brother suddenly died and they asked for their privacy around this time it made it seem like they were like murdered or something genuinely like murdered or something yeah because they went to live with the dad and everything the dad's like allegedly abusive or something so the account posted this the statement and then everyone kind of ran with it because i mean granted like when it comes
Starting point is 00:46:25 from the account and then people had reached out to the manager the manager kind of like wouldn't say either way and they reached out to the dad for a statement the dad wouldn't say anything either way either so no one like declined it but no one confirmed it either so everyone kind of just ran with the statement and then the next day lil tay reached out to tmz to say that she was hacked and that she is alive and that the statement was false. And yesterday, like Meta actually confirmed that she was hacked. So that part at least is true, that someone did hack her account and she had to get the account – Meta like stepped in to help her get her Instagram back. So the Instagram account was hacked.
Starting point is 00:47:00 It was hacked, yeah. But we don't know who the hacker is. Oh. So it's really not that juicy then because we thought everyone was blaming the brother or something it kind of is because it's like it's not the first time her instagram has been hacked um like in 2018 it happened and it was kind of weirdly similar stuff like in 2018 someone like hacked her account and posted all this stuff about her dad in 2021 again her instagram like uh her brother took over her instagram to post that a goat like that she needed help and that she was in danger and abused what was the last thing like we like heard from her before the death thing was she is
Starting point is 00:47:31 she making like is she making videos so like now the last thing that she it's been inactive since 2018 her instagram yeah so the last time she came out um she did an interview in 2018 with her mom and her and her mom talked about her dad and how she was being forced to move back to canada she alleged that her dad was abusing her and um locked her in a closet and was uh forcing her to stop posting uh on her instagram and stop making content altogether and her mom was with her during the interview and said that the dad was spending all her money like millions of dollars spending all how was she making millions like what was her thing that she was making so much money off maybe like brand deals and stuff because i mean she was really really popular it was weird that era with like bad baby and stuff
Starting point is 00:48:16 they were still making a lot of money for like being so fresh one of these companies that are like sponsoring them it's like crazy yeah i know, especially when she's so young and like so controversial. I think it is weird to have your child be an influencer. It's kind of like that bebop. Do you know that bebop and baby on TikTok? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. The mother-daughter. And it's like, even if there's nothing weird going on,
Starting point is 00:48:36 I think it's just like weird to make your child an influencer. I think it's, this may be like whatever, maybe hypocritical. I mean, I think it's one thing if they want to act or be a singer, but to have them be like an influencer where they're taking like brand deals and stuff i don't know to me i don't i don't think i would want that for her because it's like it's just weird it's like i don't know why people would be influenced by a child or should be influenced by a child why a company would want to like sponsor my child unless it's like something like natural like my daughter loves these gerber like potato puffs or whatever and they're like oh you know just show we're eating
Starting point is 00:49:02 the gerber i was like yeah of course or bumper or whatever i don't know i think like kid influencers are give me a weird feeling when it's like a kid it's like making her take on a character yes and not even just like a healthy character one that's like uh hurtful and based on stereotypes yeah that people are gonna be angry at someone's gonna be angry at this girl and maybe she's not clearly she's not choosing this or you know maybe she is but she's a girl so she's a little kid she doesn't know which her moms are being like do this do this yeah
Starting point is 00:49:27 okay you know and it's gonna hurt her for life yeah and the fact that her mom was a real estate agent and she would she lost her real estate license because she would the houses she was selling
Starting point is 00:49:36 she would have Lil Tay film in them act like she owned the houses so weird especially because that era was all about like look how many cars I have look how many houses I have
Starting point is 00:49:44 and the stack of money and stuff I feel like that's so weird so bizarre and then in 2021 her brother came out and um started a gofundme to help raise funds for lil tay so she could battle her father in court the gofundme is still up which is crazy how does gofundme work you can just collect money they just pay you out like monthly or something well it's still a few thousand off from like the from the goal so maybe that's why they didn't get the money because they were still trying to reach the goal but she was making millions off the brand that's so she was making millions and that but her dad spent all the money but then the dad said that that's not true that she just didn't want her making content anymore it's all so bizarre and even in in the statement, there's like,
Starting point is 00:50:27 even her name, there's misconceptions about like, the statement said that her name was Claire. And then Lil Tay, when she took the account back, said that my name is not Claire, it's Taylor. So even her name is like a point of like debate. There's so much mystery around it. Yeah, how there's no protection for that kind of stuff yet. I don't know. It's like weird.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Like so bizarre. Yeah, I feel like when you're that young, you yet. I don't know. It's like weird. So bizarre. Yeah. I feel like when you're that young, like eight is like so young. To start, yeah. People know that where the dad used to work, he was an attorney. The mom was a real estate agent. Like there's still like there's public stuff about them. But the fact that no one knows anything, what's really going on with the family is so crazy.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Yeah, for being so public. And she doesn't post content regularly now. No, she doesn't post anymore. So that's weird. That makes. For being so public. And she doesn't post content regularly now. No. She doesn't post anymore. So that's weird. That's weird. Which makes it even weirder. So why did they hack all of a sudden and say she was dead?
Starting point is 00:51:10 Yeah. It's like so weird. It's so random. I guess it's good she's not making content anymore. I guess that means maybe someone's like helping her somewhere hopefully behind the scenes. Because you know they paint like the. Sounds like the dad has these allegations against them. And I feel like with John and Kate too.
Starting point is 00:51:21 Like John and Kate plus eight. Like everyone kind of painted like them to be like. Well John. To kind of be this like bad person. Because like whatever. And and now it like comes out there was a documentary that came out recently the kid was like sent away for like three years john had to like spend all his money trying to get him out of this facility that kate sent away from and the kid was like i don't want to be on this show but my mom like punished me for it and like all the siblings like turned against him and stuff and it's like this kind of stuff is like so weird especially reality tv too it's like who's like protecting
Starting point is 00:51:44 like the kids you know what i mean because it's just like because of stuff is like so weird, especially reality TV, too. It's like who's like protecting like the kids? You know what I mean? Because it's just like because even if they like think they want to be a part of it, I mean, making kids like especially John and Kate Blessay. I mean, the focus is on the kids and how like, I don't know, it just makes me sad. And seeing that kid now was like so sad. And I don't know. And then Kate's like, no, I didn't abuse it.
Starting point is 00:51:59 I don't know. It's just weird. I don't want to just be on display. It is really weird. And I saw I forget which there's one state actually is putting like put law is putting laws in place to protect kids who are like on social like whose parent like mommy bloggers basically yeah they should i know with acting there's like the coogan account and i know with like malibu even when people like offered her to be like in commercials like there's like a there's a certain account you have to set up for her and
Starting point is 00:52:22 then the money goes in there which i think they should anyways but it is such a weird thing I go back and forth with it even like I like to share pictures of her on Instagram maybe like like I try to only do like one TikTok like I video her every day and I like love it just for the memories but like it is kind of a weird feeling sometimes putting it out there and just being like oh is this like is she gonna like not want this out there one day that's the only thing I kind of go with but I you know she's so cute and for me I always think like oh i'm just like a parent not every parent gets to show their kids off but it is so weird with like the internet i don't know i know i don't know it's weird you don't just yeah like if you change your mind you know you can do that yeah i feel like when she's
Starting point is 00:52:55 so little right now she's still like a baby but yeah it is one of those weird things i don't know it's so weird i guess because i've always just like made my like living online i don't look at like her as being like the main part of my social media. But it is still one of those things where it's like, I don't know. It's like when I see this stuff with kids like Lil Tay and stuff like never in a million years, never in a million years would I have her like be an influencer or center anything around there. Like there's just like absolutely no way.
Starting point is 00:53:15 I think it's I think it's again, it's like one thing if she has a passion for acting or dancing or something like that or singing. But I don't I don't know. I don't know. It's kind of weird. It's just crazy that after all these years, because what, 2018 is when the stuff started coming out about like her Lil Tay situation. The fact that all these years later,
Starting point is 00:53:30 it's still a mystery and still weird shenanigans going on is so crazy. I can't believe nothing's been like uncovered about it. Yeah, no one's talking about it. No one's anything. Did Bad Baby ever say anything about like her? Like, did she, was she like, or she was just like, I loved it or whatever. I don't think, I don't think Bad bad baby ever say anything about like her like did she was she like was she or she was just like i loved it or whatever i don't think i don't think bad baby's
Starting point is 00:53:48 ever said anything she's just like down to be like a social media person or i guess i don't know what i guess just entertain her is she a rapper i think she raps yeah she does only fans i know yeah i don't know if she's still making music but she was i remember she was making music she was going on tour and stuff no i know she was a huge i think she said she made like 100 million on her only fans which, which is like a whole other thing too. I also think 18 is very young to start making that kind of content. I wish there was like an age limit of like 21 for that.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Yeah. Just like mentally, you know, because of course, like, I don't know. And wasn't it like there was like a countdown until she turned 18? Yeah. That's like the biggest thing. I hate that when people do that. They do that all the time, like the Olsen twins and stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:24 And like, oh, they turn 18. I'm like, ew. Like, again, they're still teenagers. Just because there's like a day in between 17 and 18 doesn't mean like now they're illegal. I don't know. If you're like counting down the hours for someone to become legal, that is something. It's a whole other thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Yeah. I don't know. Then you have a problem. You know what I mean? For sure. Because you're already in your head like sexualizing someone who's underage, you know. No, I think it's so weird. The day they turn 18 doesn't mean like – and maybe legal, I guess.
Starting point is 00:54:49 But like morally it's like – Or do you like someone that young? I don't know. I don't know. I guess I was always like older anyways. I still don't understand that concept. I'm like – Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:57 We need to get Lil Tay on the podcast somehow. I don't know. I almost would feel bad because she's this like child and – This is a safe space for her at least I know I know we need like her parents on or something I don't know we don't even know if we can trust the parents like can we even try no I know who do you trust it's like the Britney situation too it's like who do you trust yeah I don't know the brother I don't really trust the dad I don't really trust the mom I don't really trust I think one day they'll just come out like
Starting point is 00:55:22 with like a documentary about it or something or someone will talk about it i hope so and i hope she gets like a i just hope she has like a happy ending you know like i hope she just gets to live like a normal life that she wants to live and it's like that's the other thing too the fact that she had to deal with like her own death hoax you know like oh that's like traumatizing for sure like you and then you don't know what to do and you're just like uh and it's like all everyone's talking about and you're 14 and they're already speculating it's your brother or it's this it's like traumatizing. For sure. Like you, and then you don't know what to do. And you're just like, and it's like all everyone's talking about. And you're 14. And they're already speculating it's your brother or it's this, it's like whatever. And then you're just like, yeah, you're 14.
Starting point is 00:55:50 So you have to like say something about it. I feel like some, like Jojo Siwa seemed to make it out okay. You know, I don't know. I never really like talked to her. I don't know if she's like ever gone in depth about it. But you know, some of those child stars, especially like on Dance Moms, that were just like berated and humiliated. There was someone on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Oh, did you see this one? The mom cracked an egg over her son's head oh my god it was like so infuriating and it was like she literally was like cracking eggs and the son the boy was like four he's sitting on the counter he's like i want to help she's yeah you can help the next one and she's like cracking the eggs in the bowl and then she like cracks an egg on his head and he just starts like crying and she like puts it up and i'm just like and on her thing it says like jesus lover in her bio and she puts it up and she like laughing. And this boy is like crying. And I was like.
Starting point is 00:56:26 I saw another one of a dad putting a sign on the girl's head. It said like C-U-N-T. And it was she's like two. And she's like laughing because the dad's laughing. And he like put it on his TikTok. Like that's crazy just to do privately. But then you put it on TikTok. And they're two and four.
Starting point is 00:56:39 They're like these young kids. The fact that they think it's okay enough to post. And that other people are going to like laugh and think it's funny too. It's crazy. It's crazy. Or they even think you think it's funny or that. I don't understand. Like the humiliation thing, it's like triggers me beyond no, like to humiliate your child is like the craziest thing, especially on the internet. And like you said, what do they think? People are going to be like, this is so funny. This is so great. What do you hope to get out of that? Like, where do you see anything? Like you're not gonna become an influencer for life. No, I mean, those kind of things run me the wrong way or people who weren't influencers and
Starting point is 00:57:08 then they have babies and they're like okay now this is my brand or whatever it's like yeah I don't like when your brand is all like your babies you know what I mean which I mean I wish I love it because you want to be with your kids all the time but like if your brand is your babies or like that's your front runner like that's like weird I don't know it's just like so odd yeah I'm like living vicariously through your kids too it's like no yeah it's like let them just be and like i i'm like the i'm another one who just like loves to like you know everything your child does is amazing and you want to share with the world but it's just like sometimes it's just like especially like parents that like are just you
Starting point is 00:57:38 know living their lives and their kids are out there because it's like they go to school they do this you know it's different but yeah i hope little t is okay and i mean i'm glad that she like just doesn't make content it just sucks if she was hacked then it just sucks and i don't know who's doing it but hopefully they can find it i think you can trace stuff i know i mean it took like a week to confirm the hacking which is kind of strange but yeah you should be able to tell at least like where it came from yeah you know i don't know it's so weird so Just Trish will be following the story closely. I know. I was going to like look into it and I'm like, oh my God, there's just so much information.
Starting point is 00:58:08 It is. Like I was reading for like hours because it was just like there's so many layers and so many years. We have so many things to investigate because we have Little Tay. We have Bobby Aldoff and Drake. Do you think it'll come out? Like why she took it down? Do you think she'll say it?
Starting point is 00:58:20 Watch it when we post it. It's always good when we post it. The next day. It's like we got gotta do another one to talk about it i know i'm gonna do like a live a breaking news update yeah i'm so curious it's so funny how everyone's so invested in it too because literally it came out of nowhere this podcast and now it's like there was this tweet that was like whoever was the first person to find this out is like 100 unemployed which is like it's kind of true it's like how are you like just putting two
Starting point is 00:58:44 and two together and like you know going through the following that's what i never understand either like people are like refreshing to see if people are following like it happens even with me there's some people who like see it right away i mean how do they see that so quickly it's actually crazy it is crazy i guess there are a lot of people who just sit at home doing that i hear if you understand i guess but like why would you even think oh let me see if she's unfollowing or let me see like it's just a weird thing to even think about and the fact that it took off and became such a big story too it's wild but I mean here we are talking about it yeah and they're almost like the same agent so maybe it was all like PR'd again yeah oh my god but it would be a weird PR stunt so maybe
Starting point is 00:59:17 they did another one like why I took my Drake video down or something yeah I honestly I feel like she has to say something though right because it's like everyone's gonna be talking about it so or at least make a joke about it yeah I just gonna I just don't get characters in general on social media like people who play characters I'm just like I don't get it I don't know I just think it's weird it's kind of like the Miranda thing I never got it I always said that I never got it and I'm always like I just don't get characters on social media I don't know like is their end goal to have their own show I guess it worked I guess Miranda had her own show but like I, I never get it. And I would be the most uncomfortable person to ever go. I would never do a character interaction like that. Like,
Starting point is 00:59:50 that to me is so weird. I'm like, I don't, I guess I don't, I don't find it funny either. I don't know. Maybe I'm a hater right now, but I just don't find it funny. It's kind of like the little Tay thing too. It's like, I just don't get why you'd want to be, I get being like an exaggeration of yourself or like playing up your personality. And maybe she is dry. Maybe that's what it was. I don't know. I can't think of a character that's like successful. Like can you think of like one on like TV?
Starting point is 01:00:10 I'm trying to think of like a successful character. Or even like a – I guess Jiminy Glick. Who? Martin Short. Do you remember him? He had like a talk show character. I love Martin Short, Jiminy Glick.
Starting point is 01:00:21 Okay. He was good. I can't think of a character that's like – No. Maybe like Borat. But even he's annoying. He was good. I can't think of a character that's like – No. Maybe like Borat. But even he's annoying. I'm sorry. I love him.
Starting point is 01:00:28 He also speaks Hebrew. But yeah, I think that's annoying. Like whenever I'd see him on the red carpets as like – In character. Yeah. Like the one where he like – I think he like was – was he Fartman? Or no. Was that someone else?
Starting point is 01:00:38 I don't know. There was something where he just came – and I'm like, God, he's so annoying. There was like a moment – remember? I think he hosted the VMAs and he was like flying around. And then he like – he was wearing – was it like a jockstrap and he like yeah yeah he landed on m&m or something yeah i just think those things are like obnoxious i just i'm like i don't it seems very like early like early 2000s like the whole character maybe that's what it is and i just always thought it was weird and i i remember even doing the podcast and i was
Starting point is 01:01:03 like i can never do something with Miranda. That's just so awkward. Like, what? And I just think no matter what, the other person just looks dumb. Like, there's no amount of improv. Maybe that's why the Drake one blew up because he did a pretty good job. But even that, I like watched him. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:01:17 But seeing her do it with other people, Drake's pretty funny. But seeing her do it with other people, it doesn't hit the same, you know. I think I saw one where she's asking Tyga to be her assistant and it just comes across like weird. Like, he's not in on the joke, even though mean he is yeah and it just seems like I mean I guess cringe humor is like a whole thing right now too but it's not really it just kind of makes me uncomfortable like see this is the thing with the podcast microphone I'm just like let me just tell you my opinion of everyone I dislike god I know I really like no it was good we're so similar that like it's so funny when like people don't agree with us because it's like I feel like we make so
Starting point is 01:01:44 much sense yeah to me I'm like everyone has the same opinion as me even though you're anti-kendall and i'm pro-kendall i think i don't know not with the pepsi can i am not i would never do that for a billion dollars it's funny we have like i have like 80 similar and then like 20 a little bit different it's so funny yeah you lose me in the taylor for sure i'm like what yeah you lose me in the tailor for sure i'm like what yeah you lose me at the jiminy my thing is i'm old but i act like i'm like 50 because i'm like i literally know all this stuff like that too which i would love martin short and steve martin on the podcast they would be the only murders do you watch it i do i haven't watched the season yet but you know so i don't know if we're allowed to say it's i don't know what i wish this actor strike would be over as long as you're not the actor in the project you can talk about it i am not it only murders the building it's meryl yeah i could be in the
Starting point is 01:02:29 next one i really enjoy it i like paul rydell like meryl streep i like all i love selena gomez love selena marie is that her middle name yeah she's so great she's so beautiful i love everything about her me too i think she's releasing a new single soon so we can oh right we've seen that like single promo everywhere. 825 allegedly. So Jess Trish will also be following that story. That's my favorite saying. I love saying it.
Starting point is 01:02:51 We'll be following it. We'll be following the story closely. Yeah, I feel like there wasn't too much juice. I feel like for taking two weeks. I mean, I love talking just in general. And I feel like we talked a lot about nothing this episode. I know. There's like a lot of like, you know, tiny little sips of tea.
Starting point is 01:03:02 Right. I was really excited about the Drake and Bobby thing, which is like what? Like in what world does this become like the gossip of the thing?
