Calling all my sweeties to the forefront. I'm your host, Chris Renee Azel, and this is the Keep It Posit Sweetie Show. Welcome to this special. Hey, sweeties, welcome back. I know it's been a few weeks since we've seen each other, but have no fear. That's right. They're calling in, and they are, they're running a show. That's it.

They always run the show, though. I'm so excited to be talking to them 101. They really are the spearheaders of this community. I love them so much, and I'm happy to sit down and talk with them. J.B., who is our first? first caller. Hi, Samantha. How are you?

I am great. I am great. I'm loving the hat. What did you do to the brim? I put some pearls around it and I put these buttons I made. All of my stuff I custom once I bought them, but I'm saving them for the cruise. Oh, I love that. I love it.

I'm sitting for the cruise. I only have been wearing the hat. and everything else I'm saving for the crews I know that's right me too I cannot wait so tell me something

what's going on well I just I toast and turn I was like Lord please let her take me because I am so excited to be here because every time you had a lot

I tried and tried to get the the goals but unfortunately I couldn't make it because everybody copped out. So I say, you know what? One day I'm going to be able to get on.

I'm going to see her up because I didn't want to wait to February, but I made it. Right. I made it. Look, you made it. You're here now. I made it. So what I want to ask you about because I know you follow God and you strongly follow. And because of you, I strongly started to follow more and more. I read more on every book last week when you came on.

and I was cracking the joke about you showed another book and like hold on like christmas I read them every day I'm going from one to the other one to the other and I'm understanding more and more and more about what sick and play and it but the scary thing is that what I'm reading is what's going on now what's happening now I literally wrote a song about that yeah what we're reading in the Bible like I was saying I wake up and read my daily word, but I'm seeing it happen daily. Yes, it's so true. Yeah, and see, I

keep one in the bathroom. Because when I get up as far as, it's quiet. Although I live by myself, it's quiet for some reason. I don't turn anything on. Yes. So if I turn something on in the living room, I can't hear in my bathroom, so I read, and it's peace.

And I learn to also be okay being by myself. When I'm home or when I put off from work because at one time I just had to have somebody around me I just had to be with somebody I had to go out now I just come home and I learned because at first I could not understand okay why would you want to be by yourself but I learned how to love myself at one once in a time I didn't yeah but um I'm I'm comfortable now but I have been I remember I sent you a message and you asked me back a month ago.

And I was asking about dating and stuff because I've been divorced since my son was nine. And he's 35 as of Saturday. He's 305. So it's been a long time. Okay. Yeah. So I've been by myself and I,

because I was still holding on to anger from the abuse. so and you you try to encourage me to let the new person that was trying to talk to me letting him in I couldn't I couldn't do it I tried I really tried and I stopped I stopped calling

I stopped calling because one he's a little bit older than me I'm 59 and a half and he's 62 was that the age that's having the thing do with it but he was set in his ways he liked to watch family fuel so I was confused about when to win the call

he wanted to watch fan field and watch the news so I found myself basically going back many many years of being controlled got it so I gave up I gave up well listen

I think you saw the signs and you know a lot of times we go through things and we try to open up to something new you know your deal breakers you know if it felt like you were repeating your past you know it was for you you know so i think that um that's good for you you know that you were able to see that yeah i just and my son he's he said mom would you like me to call him i'm like no i'm fine

and be honest with you i am i'm fine it's been so long that i am fine i'm comfortable yes um i just i just can't start all over and And I pass off to anybody that's trying to do it. But it's been so long for me. So what I'm just, no, I totally understand. I'm going to pull up a scripture for you. And it's funny, I just read this to someone else. One second.

And you has the best title of your show. I love it. And the thing is that I watch Sisters and Fatima every day. Oh, really? Every day. I'm watching you and Sierra again now. And I mean watch them like, because I always pull something from each of them. And I have to go back. And then I go back and I pull something else. All right. It is. Are you ready? Yeah, I'm ready. It's 1 Corinthians chapter 7. Corinthians chapter 7. Verse 8 through 9. 8 through 9. Okay. Yes. And it says, I say to those who aren't married and to widows, it is better to stay unmarried.

as I am. But if they can't control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It's better to marry than to burn with lust. And there was another version that I, that also talked about, it's better to stay single so that you can honestly honor God and focus on God with an undivided heart. And you don't have to deal with the anxieties and the worldly troubles of marriage. And that was very, it's just stuck out to me because you look around and everybody's pushing you to get married, you know, but they don't talk about all the things that come along with it, you know? If you can control yourself and stay focused on God and live within his will, sometimes that is the best thing for you. But if you can't, then it's best to get married. But I think that you should definitely just focus on yourself.

The fact that you are able to be by yourself is something that is so important. My mother taught me at a very young age, you must learn to be by yourself. You can't look for other people to make you happy. And that is something that you have mastered and you are far ahead of people who are looking for love in all the wrong places. So keep seeking Jesus.

Yes, you are really truly inspiration for me so yeah thank you thank you so much there what's on your mind okay i have one question um i wrote my question because yeah okay um how do you know when it's really god's voice

guiding you mm oh sarah that's a good question um it's so funny because a lot of times when we are steady in our prayer walk and talking to God, we can start thinking things and it can be us trying to guide ourselves and not letting God guide us. And I think the telltale sign is when you're going a certain direction and you're listening to the voice, if things go in a smooth way,

then you know it's God's voice. But sometimes when we try to steer it and take it into our own hands and we're running into obstacles and like, why do these things keep happening? It's because we're out of the will of God. So I think whenever you pray, pray God, please help me to discern my voice and your voice because I want you to take control of my life. And I think you will start, as you continue to grow, you will continue to know for sure

that's his voice, you know? Wow. Yeah. That amazing. And I have one question, one more question, sorry. Of course. What do you hope your sweeties carry in the hurt after listening to you? Yes, you know what?

That's a great question. I hope that after my sweeties listen to me that they, one, they're inspired. I will hope that they are inspired to walk differently, to walk boldly, to be confident in Christ and in themselves. and just know that they are made in his image and they are beautiful. You know, a lot of times we can walk through this world insecure because of all the different images that we see and thinking that we're not living up to those images. But when you live up to the true image, the one that you're made in,

which is God, nothing can hold a candle to that. You know what I'm saying? So I think that I just want the sweeties to just know that one, staying true to him and staying true to yourself and being positive, leading with kindness and loving your neighbors you love yourself, which is the golden rule. And we all know that the greatest of everything is love. If we can continue to love on each other,

Okay. Yeah, I just dropped I have a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old. My daughter is down there in your neighborhood. I dropped all for a freshman year at Spelman. So she's looking at her desk light.

Yes, yes. She is, and it's an incredible college to congrass to her. Yeah, she's filling herself right now. So, yes, yes. But I just want to tell you that, you know, I just love everything about you. I just, you know, I was late to the game of watching sisters. My mom and my sister would say, are you watching sisters? I'm like, no, I'm not watching sisters.

I watch the heaven and not, but I'm not watching sisters. Oh, yeah, the heaven and have not so is the thing, yes. Oh, yes. But when I started watching, I was like, oh, my God, Fatima, I fell in love with your character. But then when I fall in over the character, I started to research the person. And, I mean, you're just awesome. I mean, such an inspiration to... Thank you.

That means so much to me. Thank you so much. You know, that a young woman can look up to, I mean, showing them that, you know, success looks different because you do promote that. Success looks different for different people. Everybody doesn't have the same path. And I just love all that about you, you know. the foundation. I will support whatever, you know. Thank you. I see you have a kids necklace on.

I got your kids necklace. Yes. I love it. And I will be on the boat. I'm taking bringing my sister. We're going to have a time. Yes. Yes. I cannot wait to meet you in real life. Well, you know, I came to, um, I wasn't, you know, I wasn't a fan, the first live, but the second live I did meet you in Atlanta. Okay, in Atlanta, yes, at the Fox Theater. That's right. Thank you. I enjoyed it immensely. Traveled by myself, all my friends were shocked. They was like, when they saw the pictures, they was like, what? Like, yes. Yes, we had a time. That's amazing. We have some more live shows coming up. So I think we'll be in your area, too, if I'm not mistaken.

So I would love to see you again before February. Yeah. Yes, yes, please. Please, please, please come to Virginia. You know, not a lot happening in Virginia. You have to travel other places, you know. But please come to Virginia. We would appreciate it so much.

Something that you said that really stuck out was you fell in love of my character, but then you looked into who I was. And something that is so important to me is my character as Crystal. You know, Fatima pulls people in, but then I want to make sure that I'm stewarding over Crystal properly so that people can be inspired in that way as well.

So that means so much. Yeah. And I'm putting a shameless plug in for a small bucket hat. Can you put that on the side? Okay. Yeah. Small bucket head right now.

It's just medium and large. You know, my head is kind of small. Oh, okay. Big fella, we need some small. small and medium bucket hats, okay? Tell Big West get on it. I just told him. He said, okay.

You know, I know you're walking closely with God. I was brought up in the church, went to church all the time. I am still struggling with consistency, though, because ever since COVID, I have not been consistent in going to church. I should. You know, I'll go a Sunday here and there, but, you know, can come up with every excuse in the book. You know what?

I understand. And I think COVID definitely kind of changed everybody's routine, you know, being used to going to church every Sunday and then being forced to watch it from home on Sundays. It got a little comfortable, you know, to do that. But I think in order to, one, we're not supposed to forsake the assembly. It's just something about being in the house of the Lord around people who are seeking the same thing you're seeking. You know, but also even consistency, it's hard. You know, it's hard to be consistent when the schedule's changing and life is happening.

Children are going to college, you know, is so much happening. But one thing that I know God craves is intimacy with us. And that's that one-on-one time, whether it's us praying or spending time in our Bible or even joining groups and having friends that will lead us in that way as well. Right now, I feel like all my friends have found Jesus. We're following him. We're waking up, reading our Bibles, we're calling each other, girl, I can't believe I said this today. And they were like, mm-hmm, God is working on you.

Right, right. I think it's just important to make sure you have good community, but also understand that the fact that you're even thinking about it, that means God is tugging at you, you know? And the devil doesn't have you, because if you did, you wouldn't even be thinking about God. So you're on the right path. And just, I say,

just pick up a Sunday? Because is there something that you do all the time and you make time for? Can you think of one thing besides work that you always make time for? You know, it's shameless.

Sisters and Zatima. Okay, so the same way you show up for me. I already study my clock for 3 a.m. That is a shame. Well, I thank you for that, but we have to be careful not to make idols of people. Right.

And as crazy as it sounds, we have to be careful of that. And for me, I want to make sure that I don't become someone's idol over God, you know, so definitely pursue them the same way, because he's going to be like the same way you pursuing Crystal and Fatima and Zatima and sisters, I need you to give me that energy. I got you. I got you.

You got this. And I'm going to be praying for you, okay? I mean, like I said, I grew up in the church. I mean, I went to church consistently until COVID, so it's in me. Yeah. It is. Yeah. Yep, you will.

I've been rocking since season one. When you had, who was your first guest? From Isaac.

Isaac was my very, yeah, Isaac was my very friend. Now he has his own show. Rocking with you from there. I was just like, I mean, all these great people are on. It's such an inspiration. It's such a blessing to watch. And I'm like, it'd be really cool if she really get people like, you know, like us. She was like, yeah, that would be dope.

So I was like, look at God in my conversation. Come on. He all left night. Wow. And you got chosen. That's amazing. Listen, tell me about how I was like people were talking about like, oh, yeah, I got, you know, she posts and she poses. I'm like, oh, I didn't see anything. So I'm like, whatever. Then I got the link and I called my sister's screaming. She was like, calm down. Calm down. Oh, Christina, where are you calling from? I'm from New York.

Okay. I was just in New York for the U.S. Open. I love New York. Are you sneezing up there? Because I started sneezing out of nowhere when I got to New York. Okay. Not yet. I don't know what was going on. What's going on? Not too much. It's just, you know, it's just, this is just really crazy. You know, you are such an inspiration to so many people. And, again, with the young lady who just said before, like, I started watching sisters,

big TP fan. And I was like, you know, fell in love with the characters. But then when you start the podcast, that's when I really locked in. I was like, this woman is on to something right here. Like, she is putting it out. out there, and it's crazy because, like, you would come in my spirit. And I'm like, I don't know this woman, but, like, God would just drop you in my spirit. So I'd be like, let me just pray, you know, whatever.

I don't know what's going on in the season of her life. Let me just keep her in my prayers. And God is just so good. Like, I manifest that. I keep my journal with me. I'm manifesting. I love that. And look at God.

I'll say it. Here we are. Prayer is real. I love that. It is. I love that. That's amazing. So my question, I think, would be what's bringing you joy in this season?

What is bringing? That is so good, Christina. What is bringing me joy this season? Honestly, this walk with God, man, it is bringing me the most peace I've ever had. He is freeing me of things that I didn't even know I needed freedom from. Also, the people that I'm connecting with in this season of my life has been amazing. I love how everyone is really just seeking his face. I love how everyone is going after what God has planted in their hearts.

It's a season of getting it, getting to it. We're in our fourth quarter, and I'm just excited about what God has in store. I was at dinner with some friends the other night, and we went around the table and talked about what we were grateful for and what we were looking forward to as the year ended. and one of my friends Maya said I am in a space of gratitude and I am continuously asking God show me how good it can get

and I felt it and I just feel like he's constantly doing that but yeah that's what brings me the most joy yeah that's so good that's so good yeah oh thank you thank you so much I appreciate your support yes I'm glad we got to talk today

yes I mean I saw you that woman evolved with that line, and my sister was like, we're going to wait. I waited on the line. We're going on the cruise. Like, I'm, I am, I'm a fan girl in real heart right here. Thank you. Did you enjoy Woman Evolve? Oh, my God.

It was just, it was amazing. That, it was. Oh, my God. I was on the floor. I mean, she cleared the room, just to be amongst women who have the same mindset, focus, you know. Mm-hmm. I mean, I've been a believer for a very long time. but just to be in corporate worship is totally different.

It's different, honey. That's what I was just telling the last young lady, like, forsaking the assembly. It's like, it's something about being in the same space as people who are on the same path as you. Yeah. And it just ignites something. Yeah. It's a real thing. It was a stuff.

Let me tell you. You're talking about that's your grandmother's name. I was named after my mother. Oh, there we go. Didn't like my name all my life. So everyone always call me Birdie. That's my nickname. Really?

I had an Aunt Birdie, too. Yes, my nickname. Everybody that knows me calls me Birdie. And you call me Birdie too. Okay, I got you, Miss Bertie. I want to say it is a pleasure, and I am so grateful from my heart to even talk to you and to be selected on today. This came through prayer. I'm going to say this because over the weekend, I constantly pray for you.

Thank you. I'm so much older than you. And your life has resonated so much reminding me of myself and the things that I've gone through. I've gone through a lot of things that you have told the sweeties. And I sit back And many days You don't know But the tears just flow

Because I see God doing And moving in your life so much And I like what I see And that's why I constantly I think people wonder Why do you always Talk about Crystal? Why do you always watch Crystal?

Why are you always doing it? You are the only celebrity Aside from Deval and Kedin I have gone on their podcast. You are the only one that I've invested into. Wow. Listen to the things that you do.

I see your heart more so than anything. I see that you pull out your heart to people. And I want to say congratulations for sisters and Zatima. Because when sisters started, I was I started watching it when it first came on but I slacked off because I said but when you came on it was something about you that really touched my heart and I say it's something about her I got to watch and so I begin to watch it and I had watched it up until today it is one of my shows everybody knows do not call me on Wednesday at 9 o'clock if you do I will not answer oh and Zatima, I watch as it faithfully, have watched it so many times. Your life has resonated with me because I was raised in church from birth up into the present. Yes.

So many times as you become a teenager, you really want to do what you want to do. But God always will pull me back. And no matter what me and my friends would do, I would always be the one that got in trouble. Me too. I will always get in trouble. And I'm saying, but nobody else got in trouble. Why is it just me? Why because God's hand was on my life?

Exactly. I did not realize it and was fighting it all I could. As I grew older, as I became a young adult, I just surrendered because I had gone through so much. And things weren't working out the way I wanted it to. And so I just told him, not my will, but your will be done in my life. Come on, yes. I listen to you.

And the reason I even pray, God, what is it about her that keeps me watching her podcast, listening to her? So many times, Crystal, I know you don't know, but I'm 71 years old. 71 where, Ms. Byrd? I am 71 years old. God has been good to me. Glory. He has. He has been good to me.

He has really been good to me. I have watched you and your heart exemplifies the pureness, the things that you do. And so many times I've heard you say, I've been praying about this in my life. And I've been praying about that. And guess what? You're not the only one praying. I prayed for you. I've been praying for you.

And when you got through and victory came, I was glorifying God here in my home. And I told my God, daughter, I'm single. I grew up as I was working. I was working two jobs. I was working at Social Security Administration. I did that for 34 years. And then I also worked. hair. I'm a licensed

beautician in the process of all of that. I retired from Social Security Administration on 2010 and I still do hair now. I have clients that will not let me go. They don't want me

to retire. And I told them this has been 40 years of doing hair. No more, you got to let me retire. They said, no, you will never retire. We would be on change or whatever. But I'm not going to keep your time, but I just want to say to you, I want to encourage you. First of all, will you be able to have the trucker hats back at any time?

Will you be ordering them? Yes. Big West is listening, and we will have those trucker hats from Ms. Bertie, right? All right. Yes, write that down so we don't forget truck of hats. Reason why? Because my goddaughter wants one so bad. She said, please, go and me.

And when I went online, I didn't see. I say, well, I'm just going to have to find out whether they'll be reordering them again. So I will be buying it from you. Okay. All right. Awesome. I have purchased so much from you. See, I have my kids.

You got your kids? Yes. Yes, me too. I love it. I've watched you, honey. You're keeping me young because I'm doing the jewelry. I know that's right It looks your layering it

It looks good And I even lair it even more And the thing I want to say to you Is you have touched so many People lives all over the world It's not by chance That God is using you And the way he's using you

I am glad that you're not like Everybody else But you're doing God's will And doing his will guess what eyes have not seen nor ears have heard i'm going to give you this scripture miss birdie i didn't know i was going to cry today first corinthians second chapter and the ninth verse is for you glory it's not my intent to to break down like this not seen nor ear heard. Neither had entered into the heart of man, the things which God

has prepared for them that love him. God has a greater work for you. He has a greater work for you to do. He is not finished with you, Crystal. This is not the end. The podcast is not the in don't ever think that he's taking you to higher heights and deeper depths in him all he wanted you to do was surrender your all to him and with you surrendering your own you are encouraging people that knew nothing about god and they are now reading their word they are now going to church they're now hearing the word of God. And my prayer for you, if you would allow, I prayed for this.

And I ask God, if it's your will for me to speak to her, allow them to select my name. I went on about my house business, doing housework and stuff. And when I looked at, I saw it, I began to glorify God. because of who you are. So I say that this has been ordained by the Father. I'm graceful for him.

I wanted to let you know I did by Brenda's book. And it was because of you. I brought the book because God has always spoken to me on obedience. Obedience. And when she brought the book out of you, had the podcast and you talked and you were telling us it was in my spirit to buy the book but then I kind of pulled back and I'm seeing I'm looking at Chris and when Crystal said and you better buy the book I say oh you know oh you know okay I got this I remember that yeah and you better buy the

what I have said if you don't mind I if I have just a word of prayer with you please I'm not going to be long. I just want to. This is something has been in my spirit for a long time. I have been praying for you and I ask God,

why have you have been dropping in my spirit as much as you have? And every day you're coming up in my spirit. So my prayer

has been for you. So I'm going to pray right now. I'm not going to be long. Father, in the precious name of Jesus. God, we come

before you. God, I praise you. I word. worship, I adore you. I come before you on the behalf of your daughter, Crystal. God in the name of Jesus, from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet. Bless her, oh God, as never before. Use her in ways that she will blow, it will blow her mind. Bind the hand of the enemy and upset his plan. Anyone that's not like you that does not come in the right way in her life. Glory! Hallelujah! Remove them right now in the name of Jesus. God surround her with praying people.

Surround her with the love that you have exemplified in her life. Thank you for the team that she has, oh God. Bless each and every member, O God, of her team. And as she continues to speak your word, thank you for her not being fearful of speaking your word, oh God. help her, oh God, in the name of Jesus in her night hour, oh God. Bless her in her home, oh God.

Bless her surroundings, oh God. Everyone that's in the midst of her. Bless them, oh, God. As she comes forth. God, use her in a special way. Only you can do this. We will forever give your name the prayer.

he's going to protect you you don't realize but during that time you was going through anxiety you don't even know but because of the family that I'm in I was going through the same thing anxiety

and you was talking about talking to a therapist so heavily I have a spiritual and natural therapist he's both he's a pastor and God has blessed him

to speak into me the things that I've gone through. I lost my mother in 2022. We were like this. And in the process of losing her, I have siblings. One of my siblings sued me because my mother, I had my mother's bank account and my mother was only getting a monthly income. And my sister was so hungry and greedy for money. She sued me, but don't you know God told me, don't do nothing. They came to my home looking for me to serve me. When I would go out, I could not hardly go out sometimes because what would happen,

people will be sitting out there waiting to serve me. But God always will allow me not to go out during that time. He said, stay home. Yeah. He always led me. But my pastor always says he, he, he, he, The prophetic word came forth, and he said, do nothing, because God got this. Do nothing.

Do not retaliate. God got this. Do you not know it was for two years, 2022 to 2024. The courts had been, my name has been in the courts. But November the 14th of 2024, the judge canceled it. out. I had, and I had to give out anything. Yes. The money that was in my mother's account, I gave to people that helped my mom and that just to bless them. Yeah. And in turn, God blessed me. So I'm saying to you, continue to do

what you do. Thank you. Because it resonates so much. I could really tell you a lot about how your life has resonated with my life. That's why I do believe God got you in my spirit all the time to keep praying for you. Yes, ma'am. Be not dismayed. God is not mocked whatsoever. Glory. Yes.

That shall we also reap. So you keep on, sweetie, doing what you do. Because guess what? at the end, you will win. Victory is yours. Mr. Mr. President, you have blessed me. Do you understand me?

How are you doing? I'm doing good. This is my sophomore year at Howard, so I'm just. Oh, my sophomore in Howard. Yes, which I was saying.

Yeah, first before I ask my question, I just want to say, she said it all, but to reiterate, I'm so happy to be here and to talk to you, and your lights shine so bright, and it feels so good to have somebody like you for young women like me to look up to you, and I just, I appreciate your light and your love and you being you.

but my question of course um this summer i turned 20 so freshly 20 and i'm both excited and a little nervous about this chapter um so i guess my i'm looking down because i haven't written but what is no worries you guys you would give a young woman um freshly in her 20s freshly in her 20s yes i feel like your 20s is when life really begins. This is when you are making decisions on your own. These are the years that are going to shape your life. So be very conscious. You know, a lot of times we take these years to just be free, but these years really shape who you are. So I would say, one, make sure that you have a good community, a good set of friends that are going to help keep you in the right direction

because it's easy to be influenced and steered in many different ways. But I would also, say to have fun, you know, enjoy these years because once you get out of college, that's when the real, real world hits. And I think these are the years where you learn how to balance life. You know, you learn how to manage time management is very important in college. And I think you need to make sure that you're learning everything that you need to put in your toolbox for when it's time to graduate. Those are the things I would say. And then also, as always, keep God first. Try to find a church home if you don't already have one in D.C. because that's also important.

That was one thing that I was raised in the church. And as soon as I got to school, that's the first thing I stopped doing was going to church. But it was my sophomore year, and God said, he yanked me real quick. It's so funny because of you, I started watching change. And it's, oh, my God. This sermon, oh, my God. Oh, this series alterations is crazy. Yeah.

crazy. It was so good. So I also had that to thank you for. But yeah, that was, that was my only question. I just wanted to say hi and thank you for, for you being you. So I'm like, God, whatever you're playing this for me, just let it be for me. So I had to just take on that and just move about my life with that. But I'm like, how do I feel now? Like, and I check on her like, Ma, are you okay?

Like, you're okay living by yourself now? When she's like, don't know, I'm okay, I'm fine. But it was like me having to keep on checking on her. Yes. But it was hard. But, you know, it's all in my waiting season. I'm okay with accepting the new changes that I have in my life

like moving here by myself without family and out friends like I talk to my friends like all day every I'm like y'all should just come and just come down here and move with me like I just need it all but you know that's okay too

so I'm just trying to figure out how I can't continue to grow knowing I know God is preparing me right now to start over. I felt like a couple years ago, like everything, because I felt like I didn't appreciate what God has given me. I had my apartment, I had my car,

I had everything I wanted. But I didn't appreciate it. And I was like, okay, what's next? Like, everything was stripped away. I totaled my car. I lost my apartment. I had to find another job. Like, I had to start over, start over.

So I'm like, now I just feel like I'm just waiting. Like God stripped me off of everything And now he's allowed me to be whole again And I've accepted that Yeah So I'm just, I don't know Like I just been having these dreams Like about my family and stuff

And I'm like Every time I feel like I'm being uncertain Like I'm uncertain of things Or what's next or what's next to come I'm like God just help me I'll always send his angels in my dream Like my family

They're always in my dream And they always smiling and hat me like it's never nothing said and I talked to my mom about it and she was like it's okay and I said I know I know it's okay I know it's okay but just trying to like move forward and be okay and be in the rooms where I want to be like when you say in the room that you want to be yeah what do you want to do and I was like Crystal like everybody like loved on you like you show so much love to everybody that was there you wasn't like oh I'm not taking up but you took a picture with everybody you was dancing like he was you and then i had the um and zinger's um event that she had like three weeks ago and it was the same thing i'm like yeah everybody just love on them unconditionally and they love on everybody else so like surrounding yourself with people that really care for you and love you like i just was just sitting there like oh my goodness yeah it's a beautiful thing but I really believe that

what you give is what you get you know and when it comes to like the waiting season and you feel like you're starting over I'm not sure if you go on the last live that I just did for Patreon you missed it okay so there was this young lady that she was like Crystal

I just feel like I can't catch a break I feel like I just keep getting knocked down it's one thing after another and I said a lot of times when God is trying to get your attention he'll have to sit you down and in the sitting down you can't get knocked down if you're sitting down you know and uh it was a it was a word in that moment and a word that still rings true is that oftentimes when god really needs you to hear him

because we don't hear him when we're busy doing everything sometimes he has to sit us down so he can really give us the guidance to he knows where we want to go he knows what we want to do and if it's in his will he's going to make those things happen but in order for you to know where to go sometimes you have to be still. And I feel like that is where you are. And honestly, the waiting season is the best season because what's on the other side of that is you're already being prepared for that right now in this waiting season. Yeah. My mama, I don't fool with her. I don't know where my dad is because I know what him is, but I don't feel with him either. So it's like, I don't know where my life is going. Even time where I'm going to, I don't want to say it, but take my life away. but it's like I don't know

because it's like I want to relate to my mom but it's like things is hard because it's like I don't know where to start

yeah it's like at some point at some point of time I do give up I'm trying but it's like I don't know

well when it comes to childhood trauma it can be something that's very hard to navigate especially when you don't have the guidance

from a parent or guardian to help you navigate because a lot of that comes from from them and the explanations of things that you need to be able to heal you can't get that if you don't have that relationship with them um and i'm guessing therapy right now is probably not an option but do you have anybody that you look up to like an aunt or a grandmother someone that you could like really sit down and talk to that really loves you that you can just even share how you're feeling because when it comes to having suicidal thoughts, I had those when I was a kid and I've been open about that. But I look back now and I thank God every single day that I did not do that

because you don't know what God has ahead of you. And I look at so many people that have gone to do amazing things. The upbringing was not the best. They have stories that are, when people, look at it like oh my goodness how do they overcome that but it's because they were destined for greatness and the fact that you're even asking how do i get over childhood trauma lets you know that there's something great in store for you and that god is on your heart and he's working on you um i would like to see west and um jb if there's a therapist that we can connect

her with that we can pay for um because this is serious Can we get her information? We want to help you, okay, Ney? I want to make sure that you have all the support that you need. That's what this community is about. My foundation, the Chris Renee Hazel Foundation, is really big on mental health. And we don't put enough emphasis on it and enough care behind it

to know that we need to talk to people in order to move in the order that we should be moving in life. And it's something that can really hold you back. And I don't want you to be held back in any kind of way. So however, I can help you. going to do that. Radha. Yes, ma'am.

It got nothing to do with her character that she plays, but it's about your character of who you are. Come on. And I say, my God, there are so many

levels you have yet to reach that God is about to catapult you into. Your evangelism work, that's what I'm going to call it. This is evangelism work that you do. When you reach out to people,

your impact on people's lives is so amazing. And Ms. Bertie took everything I wanted to say right out of my mouth. There's days I'm sitting here and I'm like, why is this woman on my mind? She don't know me from a hole in the wall, but yet I feel the need to drop a prayer for her.

And it may be days that you may be even feeling down, low, wondering why, which way is up, whatever the situation may be. But God plants you on my heart. And I have to say a silent prayer for Crystal Renee Hazelette because your heart is so pure. See, the Jesus in me loves the Jesus in you. You, oh, my God, you have no idea what's ahead of you. You've been protected all your life, even before you left your mother's womb. You will protect it. God has had you, and he's going to continue to keep you,

and you're going to continue to grow and grow and grow because of your heart, and because of your heart for God. You know what? I can go on a tangent sometime, because I am a minister in the gospel. and I try to be cool sometimes, but sometimes it's hard. When God places on my heart, I have to say it. Yes. Yes, ma'am.

I definitely have to say it. And I wanted to say to you a long time, too, write that book. Don't be afraid. Write that book. I DMed you a while ago, and I said, just write it. Let the Lord use you because there's somebody that needs to hear your story, deeper than what you have said on your platform. Write that book.

It's still, you know, it's still working on me, but it may happen. I don't know. I'm still searching. But I was in a closet crying before I came out here to sit with you. But that morning I woke up, that morning I woke up and it was like, I just was feeling dark, don't, dog. and I woke up

and something just said to yourself. I walked in my bathroom and I looked on my counter and I had 40 flexorils right? So I said, I'm going to go ahead to work.

I said I'm going to go ahead to work and I'm going to just come back home and just take the pills and let my children find me in my bedroom. Right? So I was like listening to the podcast

on the way to work, crying, crying, just bawling crying. When I got the work, just crying. They had some important people at the job, right? So they was like, what's the matter? I was like, I just can't, like, I just can't get it. And it was like, well, just go in the yard. I went in the yard and fell to my knees and just asked God, like, what is going on? Because, man, God wrestles, you know, man, God be.

in the field. And I was like, bro, like, what are you doing to me? Like, what is it? And he was like, I just need you to just be still. When the, like the young lady says, I had, I was like that girl here in my city. I'm from New Orleans. I was that girl. I'm that girl. When I tell you, God took everything away from me, job. I mean, God had to humble me. And I think that's why I wanted to, like, end it, but when I was, like, basically, when I started listening more to y'all talk, I was like, that, I mean, I mean, I can't, like, no, I was like, oh, I promise you, whatever I'm not doing, I need you to show me, and it's so hard for me to see because I see past. you understand that goes over people head and what i did i went home i took them pills and i flushed them pills down the toilet and i was like man i say god please i say i promise i'm gonna be like i lost faith in god and everything girl i like everything that i had got i was like oh thank you

god but it wasn't god girl i just felt like it was me like because i was bawling i had this i had that That's why I laugh at you. I mean, when I type the thing in about the bag, I was like, that's me. That's that. I'm that girl. Like, go through the, that's why I mess with you about the unboxing and stuff. You know, one thing that you did, you encouraged me to write my book. I wrote a book.

And my book is about, my book is about relationship trauma and mental illness. Because, like I say, I went through it. It was in an abusive relationship that nobody knew. Nobody. Like, I hid that for 18 years with a man that I thought loved me, but all he did was control me. But that was my, I stayed because I didn't want to be alone, you know? So I've been celibate now for three years. It's hard.

like I said I just like man I really I really mess with I can't curse but you know us from the wall is that's what we do
