Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi. I am so excited. From the second we decided we were going to do this, you said it has to be juicy. Like, no one better see these texts or we're all canceled. I know. Was there ever a moment that you didn't want something filmed? When I said that whole thing, she's like,
Starting point is 00:00:16 you have to take this out. You look insane. I go, perfect. Was there ever a time you thought your reputation might not survive something? I just thought, like, our careers were over. I brought us up. I'm taking this right down.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Do you ever remember celebrities that were rude to you. Let's talk about some of the AI dating rumors. Is this not insane? Does it bother you the scrutiny that you get for the way that you allow North to be... Express herself? She knew what she wanted since the moment she came out.
Starting point is 00:00:45 You're really the first celebrity to openly stage paparazzi shots. You knew where they were. Right. So you would just go. It was cool to be desperate back then. I lived for it. Let's talk about some of the crazy conspiracies.
Starting point is 00:01:02 The Kardashian Curse. Ooh, I love a Kinski. I see. I am so excited to be on your podcast. Oh, well, I'm so excited to have you here. From the second we decided we were going to do this, we both, but specifically you said, and it has to be juicy. Well, yeah, because I feel like it's obviously weird coming from you because you know all these
Starting point is 00:01:30 stories. You know my whole life. You know everything that you're going to ask me. But let's just like juice it up and have a cute convoy. And that's what it is. It's a conversation. I'm not just going to be spitting questions at you, but like feel free to talk back with me. I'll talk back to you. Oh, good. I love when you talk back. And I'm going to ease you into it. Okay. You know, we'll do foreplay a little bit. I know how you like to get down. What's the last text you sent? Ooh. Oh, to North. Just about her engineer is on his way. I text that right before I sat down.
Starting point is 00:02:08 You love the notes section in your phone. I do. You do. I'm a big. Girlie. You want me to open them up. Oh, I just want to know what was the last note you wrote in your phone? A birthday party list.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Oh, yes. You know a party. Back and forth with that today. Name of the most used group chat in your phone. Oh, the bat chat. Bat chat. The bat chat. It's you, Lala, Tracy, and me and Steph.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I think it's been going for what, at least five years strong. Yeah, I think so. It's been a while. And it's like we will be canceled. And the bat chat is like because call me on the bat phone. Yep. Like because like no one better see these texts or we're all canceled. I know.
Starting point is 00:02:51 We're all fucked. We really are. It's like a place to really let it out. Just talk about anything and everything. Judgment free. Yeah. Yeah. It really is.
Starting point is 00:03:00 It's like a safe zone. It is. It's really crazy because like I know we're. beyond the days of like going through people's phones and people going through our phones, I feel like that just isn't a thing when you're in your 40s. Okay. Right? Like going through a boyfriend's phone?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Yeah. Okay. So like, but if they were smart, they wouldn't be like looking for guys in the phone. They'd go straight to the group chat. Well, that's where all. The girls chat. But take note for people in their 20s wanting to go through someone's phone. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Go for their group chats. Go for the guys group chats. Go for the girl. Just go for the group chat. Yeah. No one is really shit talking in a solo session. Yeah, or like you're not really going to find anything. You want to know everything. That's where you go. I learned about this. One of our friends last night told me about, you know, in Mean Girls, they have the Burn Book. There's this website that's for people anonymously. It's like a du moi type of thing, but it's about dating and you anonymously will be like, you anonymously will be like, you, Your boyfriend sent me a dick pick. And like they put it up and they expose different people, but it's all in the gay community.
Starting point is 00:04:10 It is the most salacious website. Simon Huck told you this. Oh my God. I was going to out him. I was like, that is fascinating. It's just like there's a different world. It's a different world. It was fascinating.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I loved everything. What were you guys doing at the end of the table? You didn't hear that conversation? No. Oh, that was amazing. I learned a lot last night. The first photo in your camera roll and the last. photo if you remember oh well the i mean the first one has to be from years and years and 15 years ago
Starting point is 00:04:42 however like my first one i think is of me and bernard the dog the boxer my old dog that's no no i had a boxer named bernard with lamar did the most recent photo in my phone for sure is a picture of Beyonce with her beautiful like goldeny locks like this hairdo that's like so gorgeous that I want to do my hair like a golden color. I didn't want. It's like a honey colored hair. She's, I love that honey color. Yeah. Speaking of hair, what does your natural hair look like? Ooh, I like this question. Okay. My hair is like your length. Exactly. If I blew out my hair, that's exactly what it would look like. It would be cute. I wear it every time it's in a bun that's like my hair. I love extensions and all the things. I think people were
Starting point is 00:05:36 like really confused when like Chris Appleton did my hair once and it was like platinum blonde and we slicked it back in a bun and then glued tracks over because I just didn't want my real hair that blonde getting like exposed. But people were like what's happening? Confused. But I have had some like serious hair health journeys. And so I do like all the things to make sure that it's as healthy as possible. And we go through our ups and downs, the red light hat. Every serum you could possibly imagine. Oh, if you hear like the rice, what was it, the rice water, you're like, I'll be cooking it for days. And I'm like, Kim, you do it. And then you're on to the next. Yes. Everything in a shampoo. But like it works. You know, I'll do like the stem cell.
Starting point is 00:06:28 injections in my scalp, like everything, to make sure that it's as healthy as possible. Yeah, but you just love a beauty treatment. I do. I do. If you could only pick one beauty treatment for the rest of your life, do you have a favorite? I mean, Botox, probably. That's a good one. Or just like a really good facial by Shar. Yeah. I love a, oh, I love a red light situation. I know, it's a tough one. That pod you have to get, the longevity pot. I saw that. I saw that. I I know. You really, really do. I do want to talk about Kardashian Closet a little bit because I feel like we get a lot of hate for Kardashian Closet. We do. But I think you should explain the backstory and the foundation of it and why it's so important because of C.C. Yeah. So our cousin Cici is fashion obsessed. I know you know this. But like she, her dream of life was to go to a fashion show. And when she finished some chemo, you know, she's been battling cancer for like 30 years.
Starting point is 00:07:28 And sometimes it gets really, really bad. And so she can't, it's in her lymph nodes. So she can't probably work as regular. And she loves fashion. She would want a job in fashion. So she would always ask us, like, what do you guys do with your stuff when you're finished wearing it? Like, can I start a site?
Starting point is 00:07:47 And we'll start, I don't know if you remember, but Courtney and I, and maybe you were going to open up a store before Dash called Poor Little Rich Girl. We trademarked it. it was going to be consignment clothes, like designer clothes, before the real, real, before all of those, like, stores. This was like before dash. So we've always had closets and closets full of like stuff that we wanted to purge and get rid of. You know, nice stuff that you wear once. And spend a lot of money on it.
Starting point is 00:08:19 So Cece put together this site. She now employs a team of people and has an office and they photograph everything and they ship it out. and it's like a site like the real real in a small way of just our things. But it's funny because people we know and our friends shop on it all the time and love it. And the stuff is great. And like vintage sites have bought off of it and told me when they buy things. So. Well, it's really a beautiful story because CC, you know, I think that we all are really hardworking women. And I think we know that when you have something to get up and to work for, you feel so much better about yourself. And CC, being in chemo and radiation and all the things,
Starting point is 00:08:59 there were days that she couldn't work as consistently. And other days, she really wanted to get out and do something. And so by her having this job, she said it really gave her a will to fight. It makes her feel good about things. She gets a commission off of every sale. And so, of course, we can easily give to the real real. We can easily sell on a third party site. But we do so on our own. because we want to give to Cece and make Cece feel good and like that she has something to do every day. And it gives her a purpose. Yeah, a purpose. And so I love that we do that.
Starting point is 00:09:35 And people that talk shit, they just talk shit, but they don't understand that there's so much story and history behind it. Listen, like, I used to take my stuff back in the day. I didn't have the money. So, like, if I wanted to buy new things, I would have to sell things. You did eBay. Yeah. And I used to sell everything on eBay. And that's kind of how I feel like, you know, we're still on budgets.
Starting point is 00:09:56 We still like have things that we try to be responsible with. And so like if I sell some things and make a certain amount, then I can, you know, buy with that. I still budget my life out and love living like that. Let's talk about our parenting styles. Yeah. Where do you think you and I are alike and where do you think we're different? Hmm. I think you're really strict.
Starting point is 00:10:19 And I love that. And you're very structured. I don't think you're strict actually. That's the wrong word. I think you're just very scheduled and micromanaged to the moment. I agree with that. So I actually think you're lenient. I think your kids are a little too young for you to feel what it's like when one of them wants to be extremely expressive in a different way than you would.
Starting point is 00:10:41 I agree with that. I don't know what teenagers are like? But don't you think North? I'm trying to remember at like seven or eight. I felt like she still was very, like she knew what she wanted at. that age too. She knew what she wanted since the moment she was born. She was born, getting born to the song Bohemian Rhapsody. Courtney and I talk about this all the time. Kanye was DJing. So he put on Bohemian Rhapsody for the moment she came out. And isn't it so her? Courtney and I like cry laughing
Starting point is 00:11:11 thinking of this moment. Oh my gosh. I'm just like. I was in the room. I don't remember that. Yeah. And how it's just so like her. North. You know? That's such a weird fact. What a random song. Yeah. Yeah. I love that song. Yeah, me too. Yeah. Like when I listen to it, I just like get a moche. I didn't remember that. Yeah. Courtney remembers every detail. Her memory, I didn't remember it. And it's something that I would have written in the book. So I asked Courtney years ago, like, hey, what was the song in all the rooms that I like to write all the memories and just have random facts? And she's like, you don't remember. It was Bohemian Rhapsody. She's nuts. She does remember everything. Yeah. And I was like, of course it was. Being a mom of older kids, like teenagers, do you wish you did something different when they were younger? I treat my two older kids a little bit. I have like stricter rules for my two little kids. And so my two older kids have devices. My two little kids don't. It's interesting. Your first kid, your first two kids, they're like growing. up with you. We're figuring it all out together. And then you learn and you realize you want to maybe do things differently. And luckily I have, you know, Cheyenne Somm that like I could try that with and like that's really worked for us. But like maybe at this age, the other kids had a phone. So it's like a little bit unfair, but it's the rules. And they don't know the difference.
Starting point is 00:12:43 I'm stricter now. But I don't know that St. And North had a phone at that age. Exactly. Well, they tell them. Well, but that's. They know. That's their word versus. No, totally. Prove it. But it's, it's, I wouldn't like change anything. I think like I have such a great relationship with my kids. They love me.
Starting point is 00:13:01 They respect me. They're great. Every kid has, you know, phases and have these growing moments and learning moments. And we've gotten through all of that. And we're like, I just love how they just grow and evolve. So many of my listeners have told me that they're rethinking what healthy actually looks like for them. I've been hearing from friends and one brand that kept coming up was Weight Watchers. 84% of members say that Weight Watchers help them lose weight the healthy way. What surprised my friends
Starting point is 00:13:32 most is how much it's changed. This isn't the Weight Watchers people remember from years ago. The app has been completely reimagined and it feels modern, flexible, and genuinely supportive. Whether you're focused on weight management without medication or you're curious about GLP I want to be clear. I'm not currently using a GLP1, but I've always been open about my health journey. And what I respect about Weight Watchers is how thoughtfully they approach it. There's real education, real structure, and real support. No pressure, no shame. For those exploring medication, Weight Watchers offers access to affordable GLP1 options, including the New Way Govi pill, and has doctors and experts guiding you every step of the way.
Starting point is 00:14:22 And according to Weight Watchers, 72% of Med Plus members say the GOP1 success program helps reduce medication side effects. And members are losing 29% more weight when they engage with the success program versus taking medication alone. This is about sustainable health, how you eat, how you move, and how you feel day to day. No gimmicks, no quick fixes, just science-back support from a brand that's helped tens of millions of people over the years. If you're ready to do this in the way that actually fits in with your busy life, this is your sign.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Go to Weightwatchers.com and use Code Chloe for an extra 20% off your first month. That's 20% off your first month at Weightwatchers.com with Code Chloe. Offer applies to select plans, restrictions apply. And the offer ends May 31st, 2026. Lately, I've been so into finding easy ways to add more protein into my day. I feel like I'm on this mission where every snack, every little moment, I'm like, okay, where can I add a little more protein? Living in my new protein era, my Starbucks order fits right in there with me.
Starting point is 00:15:39 I've been loving my iced vanilla protein latte customized totally my way. blonde espresso and extra shot, obviously, and that vanilla protein cold foam on top. It's creamy, it's delicious, and it gives me that little extra boost I'm always reaching for without having to change anything dramatic in my life. Of course, my cloud popcorn is my go-to snack for sneaking in protein, and now being able to pick it up on my Starbucks trips just makes my coffee runs even better. I really think everyone deserves a moment that feels like their personal moment. For me, grabbing my Starbucks and sneaking more protein into my day wherever I can has become my new little obsession. If you're like me and want more protein in your everyday life, Starbucks makes it
Starting point is 00:16:30 really easy. You can try the protein cold foams or even add the protein boosted milk to your usual drink. It still tastes like your favorite order just with a little extra something. Honestly, I just love that Starbucks is entering this protein era right alongside me. Level up and add protein to your favorite Starbucks drink. And of course, you can order now on the Starbucks app. Does it bother you the scrutiny that you get for the way that maybe you allow North to be... express herself? I do you think that's fair? I'm just not a judgmental person like that. So I try not to pay attention to it. But I think that no one knows unless they're in my shoes of what I'm dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life that
Starting point is 00:17:28 we have to go through together. So I think like the one misconception that people might have is like, oh, she's trying to be her bestie and lets her get away with a lot. Like, no, Northie actually has a lot of rules. The one area is I do let her express herself and I do let her do that. I love her for that. And she would do it, you know, regardless. She's been, it's funny. Like people are like, oh, this blue hair, all of this, all of a sudden or like her fake
Starting point is 00:17:57 piercings that she puts up or her, you know, I have pictures of her when we're in first grade pre-k where she'd come with like a fake septum ring and she has her green braids and she has pink braids and but she's always loved the colored braids in her hair since she was little like she really is who she is and always has been that girl unapologetically and so like i nurture her she is is homeschooled and a lot of it is me helping her do a lot of the teachings and the things that we do but we do a lot of realistic courses things that she's really into. Math will give budgets and we'll go around and we'll get stuff and we'll add it all up and subtract it all and we'll, she has a brand building class. You know,
Starting point is 00:18:46 it's like an actual course and a curriculum. More interactive learning than text book. And so she wanted, she had an idea of making hats and making jewelry and all the things she wanted to make. So we made it a course. And she has to do the web design and she has to do the budgeting and she has to go to the to the stores and get materials and sewing and we do like full fashion courses and she goes to in the summers like to f it in New York and goes to fashion camp you know and loves these more interactive experiences and so I nurture her but it's a full time job even for me and her teacher and I think people don't realize like I'm with her and the kids 24-7. And it's like, I've now added like a teacher to my role because she wants me involved in all the
Starting point is 00:19:36 things. And, you know, I took like the last six months off to be able to really do that and do her courses and get the curriculum from her teachers and be there in the room with her. And it's been a lot. And it's been so fun to see her blossom and even like her music course at school. She do a regular, like music course and learn certain things. But at home, she'll do an eight-hour music studio session. where she's producing and writing. And a part of, you know, I'll add her writing out all of her lyrics as a part of her, you know, spelling tests. And we do all of the things at home that she really enjoys and are challenging. And I think they would be, like, proud to see, like, how smart she really is and how creative she really is.
Starting point is 00:20:20 And I can only dream that my children all find a passion and a purpose as young as she has. Well, and I think it's really inspiring and beautiful the way that you do nurture her passions and that you are so accepting of them. Like, she's 12, and I know she loves producing, and she's doing that now, and you encourage that. And I think, I know on Alex Cooper, you talked a little bit about you and Yease relationship and where you guys stand now. And I think it's important to say you and Yen's. have really bonded over North's producing.
Starting point is 00:21:02 You guys are now in a much better place. Yeah. And I think that, you know, I'm a really empathetic person. I mean, at the end of the day, we're always family. I always look at it that way, no matter what's going on. There are times when I have to be super protective. And there are times when, you know, at any moment, I would love that relationship. and I've always talked about that.
Starting point is 00:21:28 The music side and the producing isn't my thing, and that's her bonding thing with her dad. But even just, like, coming up with stuff, we have to communicate about how North, like, moves through that world and all these, like, opportunities that come her way and having to filter that and, like, respecting his opinion on the things that go on with his kids is really important. So, yeah, I think, you know. You're so good at doing that. I think it's important for the kids. You just kind of have to put all the other stuff aside. Do your kids still sleep in your room? They do.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I know you always want to like apologize for that. Lala's in town and she loves to sleep in my room. I have this like massive bed and everyone's like, why doesn't she sleep in the guest room? And Saint was just like at my door like this is not fair where I'm going to sleep in between you guys or I'm going to sleep on the floor right next to you. And like literally I remember Kim was like, I have to go. he heard me saying like oh I'm going to pairs with your mom and he's like how many days I need to approve this he needs to he needs to know my whole schedule like how many days am I going to be gone he always like cries when I leave like calls me every time we have a life 360 or whatever that he hears your voice oh when I leave I make my kids this like little you know the like recording device that's in a build a bear I got like the heart that like just the record quarter and I leave the messages like, I love you so much. I'm going to be back soon. And I leave them,
Starting point is 00:23:01 like I'll say a prayer because we say our prayers together every night. So one is just like a prayer that they can play on repeat if our timing is off or something. They love them and they play. He keeps it in his pocket when he is like out. And it's so cute to see. He's obsessed with you. It's so cute. Be it talk about your obsessed with them. Life 360. Oh yeah. We have a Life 360 app. Obviously the only kids with a device like North and St. Saint and myself, Saint will be checking it. And he'll just be like, Mom, you know, you're here. When are you going to head home? I see you're here. Mom, did you land? I see on the app like you're just landing or are you on the plane yet. He makes me text him when I take off when I land. It's so cute. It's so cute. Let's talk about the show a little bit. When you look bad. Do you ever watch old episodes?
Starting point is 00:23:49 I don't really. No. But I'm not like opposed to it. When you see clips. The first 20 seasons are coming back on Hulu. When you see old clips. I love it. You love it? I was going to say, do you cringe? Are you like... No, sometimes I'm like, sometimes there's cringy moments.
Starting point is 00:24:07 But like other than that, it's like the best home movies. Like, so well shot. Like, we have so much documented. It's really... So much of it. It's been like 20 years. Yeah. And so much of it, I forget that we even did.
Starting point is 00:24:20 We were all in Idaho and it was just on TV. the old keeping up. And random stuff was just on TV and I was like, when did we ever do this? There's no recollection. I think we just filmed so much. But think about having literally every single day of your life filmed for like 15 years. Yeah. And it's just there. Don't even want to know what's on the editing floor. Who knows? Was there ever a moment that you didn't want something filmed, but they filmed it and it turned out for the better, I think. I know a few. Really? But like the Bentley fight, I don't think at the time. It's funny. Like mom and Courtney like want to like pull back a lot. And I'm just like, why?
Starting point is 00:25:05 Let it go. Courtney, when I said, I got married in Italy. She got married in Italy. When I said that whole thing, she's like, you look like a lunatic. You have to take this out. We just, you look insane. I go, perfect. Put it on. It's making it. And she's like, no, no, I'm telling you, like, sister to sister, you look crazy. And I was like, good. I love it. Like, I can really step back and look like from a producer's eye. Oh, like the fight, the slapping fight. Oh, yeah. Mom was like, this can never see the light of day.
Starting point is 00:25:41 She was freaking out. And I was like, you're not in it. So it is making the cut. Sisters don't hit each other. I'm like, yeah, they do. Yeah, they do. Let's talk about some of the AI dating rumors. Is this not a.
Starting point is 00:25:53 It's insane. No, no, no, no, insane. You want to know the most and craziest one that people, I think, thought was real. Which one? There is a basketball player that I think got traded to the Lakers, Luca. There was like an fake tweet or comment on Instagram. I don't know where it came from. But it was like, hi, you're coming to L.A. I want to learn Slovakian or whatever language. Who knows? And then there was either, I don't know if he really thought it was me. And then he replied. No. No. Or if it was like a fake reply. I don't know at this point, but mine was so fake. Okay. And it looks like I'm hitting on this guy. I haven't gone to a Laker game since. Rob sent, stop because of that. Rob sent me. Not really because of that. Victor Wemby. Rob was like, you're dating. I think he's like 19 or 20, some 19 or 20 year old basketball player. I was like, not that I know of. Oh, it said this whole story of him and I. Yeah. AI photos. is insane. There was a photo, an AI photo of me and Kevin Durant. Yeah. And was like, if there is ever a basketball player that I would date, he's the one. And it said all this stuff like a real quote from me with a picture. And I'm like, I, that's absolutely just not true. And I never said that. It's insane. A.I is getting out of control. It's scary. There was even this quote that said, I would have been a billionaire sooner if Jay Z was my husband or
Starting point is 00:27:19 something like I don't remember and I was like who comes up with these fake quotes how do you stop them because once you send like a cease and desist it's like all these other people have posted it but even like you said you sometimes second guess like the tweets like so you're like wait I have oh yeah like it's his real right I didn't think mine was real no I don't think that but then you're like what is real versus what's fake like even the AI photos or there was I think a video I sent you. It was either of you or of North talking and I sent it to you and you were like, that is so AI. Like they're so real some of them. And it's really fucked up. No, it's insane. I don't like it. The dancing ones we like though. Yeah. Those are funny. Kim will send the stupidest
Starting point is 00:28:06 dancing videos and she laughs and tell like, I am crying. No, streaming down your face. And it's very cute. But we're like, okay. But last night, you and Kylie were dying over some of those. Kylie and I were laughing. I'm like, please recreate, please try. And she's like, I don't know if I could even do this move. So funny. Do you think people would be surprised that you listen to Taylor Swift? I think I've said it. I think people would be surprised. Surprised. Yeah. I mean, it's just I have her, like some of her older songs in my playlist. I've always thought she's like a super talented, great artist. And do you like country music? Love country music. Who's your favorite country? I mean, I'll always. I'll always. I'll always. always be a Shanaya Twain girlie. You do love Shania. I really do. Yes. And then like I love Carrie Underwood. I love
Starting point is 00:28:55 Always you did. Right. She just came on my playlist like wasn't it Leanne Rhymes? Love Leanne Rhymes. That was my song. I remember being in the car on the way to Arizona, driving to Courtney to college. And I was like CDs at the time. Yes. CD singles. So I only had the single of Leanne Rhymes. The CD book that we had to keep popping. Yeah, I still have it. I still have the CD book. You're really the first celebrity to openly stage paparazzi shots. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Talk about how, when and why you started doing that. Okay, it's not like we would know where they were. And so, yeah. Like vote for Kim. Yeah, vote for Kim was like the first. That was the taste. So Kim did Dancing with the Stars. 2006 or seven, something like that.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Something like that. And we would walk down Robertson Boulevard. Definitely not season seven. No, of dancing with the stars. Oh, I was like, please. No, we knew, like, we wanted people to vote for me. So we made vote for Kim T-shirts and we would walk down Robertson at Robertson. So people see us.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Like, you knew where they were. Right. So you would just go like that huge. And be desperate. Totally. Being desperate was like a, it was cool to be desperate back then. It is all I wanted. I lived for it.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Like there was times. I mean, I said this story once where Jonathan and I went. We were at a restaurant and we heard these people. Jonathan just like sees everything like online and was like, oh, Britney Spears is staying at this hotel in New York. So this person at dinner had this like crazy Phantom Rolls Royce. Jonathan and I could hardly even get a cat. You know? So we're like, oh, can we get a ride to our hotel? And the guy's like, yeah. Jonathan and I'm like, we'll sit in the back. You sit in the front. So it looks like we got out with a driver. Oh my God. At this hotel. And we got out paparazzi everywhere waiting for Brittany, you know, at her hotel. They weren't following us at this point or who knows, maybe they were. But they come out and they're like, Kim, Kim, Kim, Kim, Kim, are you here to visit Brittany? Are you here? And Jonathan's like, keep your head down and just like, shut up. So we go inside. We go in a phone booth because we're like we don't know anyone at this hotel we don't even know if there's like a hotel bar for us to walk in
Starting point is 00:31:23 we go and like hang in the phone booth in this hotel for like 20 minutes and then we're like all right let's go out and then we come out and they're like Kim how was Brittany how is brittany and jonathan and i are like you know we just like walked in the took a cab i think from that point because this rolls royce person dropped us off but they weren't going to take pictures of us like getting in so we totally Scammed the system. Scammed the system. And it was like on every cover. And we thought we were killing it.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Oh, you guys were back then. There was a time. And one time Jonathan was like, you have got to stop smiling. Like Victoria Beckham never smiles. So we'd like walk out of like intermix on Robertson. And he would be like, Victoria. Victoria. And I'd be like, oh.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Get it together. Okay. And I'd like stop smiling because I'd be like, hi guys. you know, to the Papps. And he'd be like, Victoria. And he'd be like, oh, get it together. Yeah. Well, you segued this perfectly.
Starting point is 00:32:24 I have a guest that's coming. Who? Welcome, Jonathan. No way. I'm just kidding. Oh, I was like, no way. I loved, we should have called him. We should have.
Starting point is 00:32:34 We would have loved to have been here. That was a big mistake on my part. That was crazy. I love Jonathan. We should call him. We should call Jonathan. I think people think we don't. don't talk, you know? Hello. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:32:52 A sexy look. Thank you. I think I went just to have dinner in Miami. We were just talking about you. Oh, that's a good or bad? We're on the pot. We're doing Chloe's podcast. How's Jonathan? And I'm like, I love John. Hold on. I'm calling him. Do you need proof of life? I'm in Miami, actually. It's like 80 degrees out here. Oh, my God. Just chill. I'm at like a nice dinner. It's like a brand new restaurant here. in Carl Gables. Nice. I have the podcast going.
Starting point is 00:33:19 It's good. We just wanted to give you a little shout out. I said you were at my mom 70th. And yeah. That was a fun night, wasn't it? That was a fun night. That was probably one of the best parties in like 15 years. They don't do parties like that anymore.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Right? They don't. No. Yeah. We used to do, you know, when I did PR, we used to do big events like that. And they were like these kind of parties where like one, after the next would come in. And you just never know what it is.
Starting point is 00:33:49 And it was like the crazy mix. And now it's like everything's so corporate. Yeah. Sponsors. Yeah. Nobody could ever pull that off unless you're like paying for your own party. Nobody really does it anymore.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Yeah. Yeah. Well, we're not doing it again for a long time. It was really expensive. That's the last time. Okay. We love you. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:34:11 See one L.A. Have fun. Have fun. Bye guys. Bye. Bye. Love you, bye. Love you.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Bye. Okay. Jonathan and I are good. Here's the thing. I had kids. Yeah. And it's really hard to maintain friendships when you have kids and you're like in it. And like Jonathan's not going to come and sit around Calabasas all day.
Starting point is 00:34:33 He's like always on the move. Well, especially when someone else doesn't have kids. So it's not like you can do playdates with your kids. Exactly. Yeah. Exactly. I get that. And we love Jonathan.

Their essential multivitamins are designed to support foundational health with key nutrients that are often missed in the average diet, holiday season or not. And they're in high-quality, bio-available forms that my body can actually use. I chose ritual because transparency and quality matter so much to me. I'm speaking from personal values. Starting point is 00:37:42 gentle on your stomach with that minty essence in every bottle that actually makes the experience feel elevated, not like a chore. It also matters to me that ritual products are vegan, GMO-free, tested for heavy metals, and made traceable. I just like knowing what's actually in something. And Ritual even conducted a university-led clinic trial for essential for women 18 plus, which I genuinely appreciate as someone who values evidence-based decisions and real research. Instead of striving for perfect health, aim for supporting foundational health. For a limited time, save 40% on your first month at ritual.com slash Chloe. That's ritual.com slash Chloe for 40% off your first month. Okay, let's talk about leaks. I know, like, do you remember that big, that, when was it? I think it was
Starting point is 00:38:42 like when Jennifer Lopez was going to marry Ben Affleck the first time, and she wanted to know who was leaking stuff to the press, and she gave different stories, and she found out who did it. No way. It was like the thing to know, like, if you have a leap, let's give either, I don't know, different groups, a different story, and then you can sort of pinpoint the leak is. When we were filming, keeping up with the Kardashians, there was leaks every single week of all the stuff that we were filming. We were on the cover of every magazine with these crazy salacious stories. I think that it was kind of genius, even though we didn't even realize it, we thought that was life. But that was feeding the beast and then getting us to film more things to shut it down or to this or to that.
Starting point is 00:39:30 And then we got to the point where we were like, okay, if I'm going to tell Courtney that I'm pregnant when we were in Miami, I would call our main producer and be like, can you just bring no cameras, but can you bring a like little camcorder and film it? And then we'll keep the footage, the tape until we're ready to edit or until it's out there. Because it took so long to edit and get, you know, the show up anyway. So then we started doing these like, Oh, our delivery room? Yeah, we'll film it, but we'll film it on this, like, camera and then keep the tape until we're ready, you know? So, like, then those things didn't leak. So who do you think the leap was? Someone just in production wanting to, I don't think it was like malicious. I think it was like knowing that they're feeding this beast that will get us more popular, that will be more popular for the show. Now that I look back at it. That's a good perspective. I haven't looked at it like that. You know, but it's so interesting because when we film Kardashians, we'll film everything and there's not a leak. We haven't had leaks in years. You're right. But also the group has dwindled down. Yeah. Remember when North was born and you to different groups.
Starting point is 00:40:50 I think this was a little bit of a miss. Oh, I sent the photo of North. Yes, but you wanted to see. But from what I remember, and maybe I'm wrong, you sent different photos of North to different groups of people and you wanted to see which one would get weaked. Yes, yes. And one did. And TMZ called me with one photo going, we have a photo of North. But didn't you forget what group I said, what pictures too, so I was fucked. But I did say, I forgot how I handled that. I think I said that wasn't North. And I was like, oh, it's a generic baby picture on the internet. because it was in the hospital bed, like right when she was born.
Starting point is 00:41:32 That is so shady. Isn't that crazy? Was there ever a time you thought your reputation might not survive something? Hundreds of times. Zillions of times. When I got a divorce, I thought my life was over. The dramatics are no one's going to talk to me again. Oh, yeah, I always get that way.
Starting point is 00:41:52 No, not about. No, but just like you just, it's crazy that you really have thought, numerous times that the world is over. I just thought like our careers were over. You've said it. You're like, I ruined all of our careers. I was like, I brought us up. I'm taking us right down.
Starting point is 00:42:11 I'm sorry, guys, but better me than anyone. You know, like I've literally been so dramatic after my 72 day wedding. And I find that like so interesting that like the media kind of like built it up. like they were so kind to me, they were so great. And then that happened and it was like, you know, a fraud and this is fake. And they love to build you up and tear you down. Yeah. And I was just like, wait, I wouldn't do that. Or like, that's the name of the game now. I just really thought. And, you know, that's the name of the game. Do you ever remember celebrities that were rude to you at the beginning? And now they like kiss your ass. And do you treat them differently? Are you just like,
Starting point is 00:42:55 I remember. Honestly, I don't even think we were like invited to anything with any major celebrities for a long time. So I don't think we were ever put in that position. I just remember so many people being so kind. Oh, I love that. And so welcoming. And even if it was like a different genre of something that like we were in, I think everyone was like really kind and gracious. I love that.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Like maybe it was like a time that like someone didn't want us at a party. you know, or something, or maybe we weren't invited. I don't know. Oh, I love that. I love that those are your memories. Yeah. So I know one story that really bothered you, right, Felish, so, was the Elephant Birkin drama. Yeah. And even Ellen DeGeneres reached out to you. She texts me. Well, you know, she always has. Like, no matter what it is, if there's like an issue, she's always been, you know, she is the reason why I went to like full faux fur and like I have my vintage furs and I like completely toned down a lot of things and it was her approach and the way that she communicated with me about it. And so she wrote me and was like, hey, I see this story with this elephant burkin.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Like what is this? That was a bag that is fake that we bought for extra props. You know, I brought a lot of my bags in to find. all as fair as accessories, but then we just got a bunch of other ones that we would have and leave like on set that we can like leave there and grab if we ever needed one for a specific outfit. And I was wearing gray and it was a gray one. If you look at it, I actually have pictures of it. The hardware is upside down. So it's like an actual like full fake one. Even like everything about the texture is like not whatever. But what I was so annoyed with myself about is just that like that message that the elephant Birkin was okay. Because like people didn't know if it was real or
Starting point is 00:44:55 fake. So even just like putting that out there, like I wish I was a little bit smarter on that and did made a better choice on that. So I could see that. And I appreciate that. Yeah. And I'm sure Ellen does too. Yeah. Do you, did you tell Ellen it was fake? Of course. I was like, the bag is fake. But like it's just also like the stories and the headlines and all of that that like follow it with them not knowing what it is. So, you know, I don't blame that story or for the outrage of that story. I really don't. I just hate certain organizations' approach to things. It's so just, oh, it's fully the approach. That's why, like, Ellen's approach was so great. Right. She's, you know, it just struck me, like, how she really took the time. Yeah. To communicate certain things to
Starting point is 00:45:46 me. All about approach in my book. Yeah. Being like, that it bothered you so badly. Why don't you go out and respond and set the record straight? I think that came at a time when there was a lot of other All's Fair criticism and I was like overwhelmed. I'm a firm believer of like addressing something head on and quickly, you know, whether it's like naming kimono and then changing it to skims and acting quickly and like I hear you and like sometimes I wish I did act more quickly. But like my thought process also So is like, same thing. Why didn't I shut down all those like AI rumors about, you know, the Laker player and, you know, Katie and like all these things, fake tweets and pictures?
Starting point is 00:46:30 It's like, sometimes I'm like, oh, I'm not going to give it attention because I can't just sit there all day and shut everything down, you know? And then sometimes I get annoyed enough. And I'm like, guys, like, why aren't we like sometimes you just have to give a statement if something's totally, it just, it's. It depends on my mood. I get that. And some are, you can shut down a few. And then if you don't shut down one, people will be like, oh, she didn't shut that down. So it must be real. Yeah. But it's not. Yeah. And I think you're right. You can't shut down every last rumor. And we do talk about it. You know, we do have a chat about it. And it's like, what are we going to do about this? How are we going to get, you know, around this? And what are we going to, you know, we are conscious of everything that's going on. We really are. And sometimes we're like, we're not giving it energy. Or we're going to. And we're going to. have to give this, this, this, this, and this energy. Right. And then sometimes you're get annoyed, like, why didn't I give that energy? Oh, I think it's cooler that you don't. Yeah. But then sometimes I get pushed to the limit and I'm like, you better shut that. We, I'll tweet this myself. Yeah. You know, and there's just some random things that like take me to the edge that I, it could be the
Starting point is 00:47:40 most random thing where I'm just like, I have to speak up. What is the craziest rumor you think you've ever heard about yourself? Hmm. I don't know. I really don't. Like there's just been so many. Yeah, I can't keep up that it's like, I know there's this crazy video of you and yay on jet skis. That is fake. Well, duh, duh. We're going to show the clip obviously. I cannot believe people think that's us. It doesn't look like us. I don't think it's, no. If we had a major jet ski accident, I think. It doesn't look like you in this latest. That's why I'm like, I don't even understand how some rumors get started or go viral. It's really strange to me.
Starting point is 00:48:20 It's so strange. I mean, speaking of AI, I think there was even like a fake tweet of Kanye's saying that like, oh, Kim is like in the bathroom, like having diarrhea or something. Yes, I've seen that. And I'm like, what? Do people think this stuff is real? Like that never. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:40 Let's get to the tea. What tea? I want you to spill. There's a few iconic stories that I think the world needs to hear about. Oh, my God.
