Starting point is 00:00:00 It's Kind of Funnies Patreon Pledge Month. Support us at patreon.com slash kind of funny. We really appreciate it. I just noticed that I'm in the game skills intro now. I got me excited. Can we run it back one more time, Kevin? Do we have the technology for that one? I don't know if we do.
Starting point is 00:00:24 I mean, we can. It's going to take me a second. Okay, yeah, yeah. I'm just running back. I'm broken. Well, it's just, you guys, we have like 40 intros. No, I get it. I get it.
Starting point is 00:00:56 I get it. And you know what? You put it on for us. And now we can see, Roger, you're in the games. Are you in it? Yeah, I'm in there. Oh, you're in there. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:01:05 We got a new person joining the mix because Andy's doing art. Yes, I did see that. I did eat that every month. You can come support us over on Patreon, of course, through the month of July. It has been Patreon Pledge Month, where we kicked off a brand new Patreon goal, whereas if you gift as many, whoever gives the most Patreon gifted memberships throughout the month, Andy will draw you in the Gamescast art style. Samantha, and then you'll be put in it.
Starting point is 00:01:31 So shout out to Samantha. Yeah, shout to Samantha. And again, we are looking for you, Alex. We hope you're okay. Alex, wherever you are. Just know, I'm thinking about you. We love you, Alex. We're thinking about you.
Starting point is 00:01:42 But yeah, Mikey, I just wanted to start the show and just like have a conversation. I did see what he was talking about. Mike on Games Daily was telling me about some belly situation. And he showed it to me. And it was genuinely very upsetting. I ran away. It looks as if the alien has burrowed into my belly and is waiting to explode out of it.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Just to be clear, he actually ran away. I ran away when I showed behind the scaffold. And also, to be clear, Mike isn't exaggerating. But Kevin touched it. Yeah, I touched it. And I fucking, I regret it. It's the texture of it was different than what you're thinking. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:02:19 It was like, just that part was an old man. Yeah. Like an old man? Yeah, there was, there's. an elasticity to it that shouldn't have been. See, I find it kind of firm. It's firm, but it's not firm.
Starting point is 00:02:33 No, no. The rest of your stomach is firm. That's what I'm saying. It like... That's how I describe it, too. It gave in, it gave in when you pressed on it. That's how I describe it too. That's amazing, Kevin. Great joke.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Welcome to the kind of funny games cast for July 31st, 2026. Pay your rent. I'm one of your host for today, Roger Becourning. Today I'm joined by Snow, Bicycle. Roger, hello. Happy Friday. Thank you to everybody tuning in to the kind of funny games cast. It's the fun one.
Starting point is 00:02:58 It's a Mike and Roger takeover day as we prepare for the big Halo marathon stream. Tim bless Andy, myself playing through Halo campaign evolved. Blessing Eddie O.A. Jr.'s first time playing a Halo campaign. That's a big deal. Tim Getty's loves the Halo 1 campaign. So that's great. Andy Cortez, he just loves video games. That's incredible.
Starting point is 00:03:22 I'm very excited. It's a really good time. And we got the big Tim Dog. he's in the studio he's going to be there playing the game Tim is going to be here till possibly midnight hopefully midnight if you guys support we can get you all the way to midnight
Starting point is 00:03:35 again that's a long that's the Tim Getty has never been awake past 12 a.m. Tim Gettys has participated if I'm correct in one marathon stream and that was the Jedi battle stream with barely a marathon stream yep so this was
Starting point is 00:03:49 the first time I think we've kept Tim Gettys in the building other than kind of funny day and like yeah the yearly kind of funny days until midnight. It'll be fun. And guess what, everybody? If we get him to midnight this time,
Starting point is 00:04:01 I'll just replace Mike and it'll be me and Tim playing Skyrim for five days straight. He won't see his daughter, won't see anybody. Everybody, this is a fun little day because we're going to be talking about my 2026 gaming predictions that I made earlier in this year of January and just see how many I got rights. And I think that's going to be all of them.
Starting point is 00:04:20 But before we do that, of course, if you're watching live, be a part of the show by super chatting on YouTube.com Kind of Funny games. Remember, we couldn't do this without our Patreon producers of our on patreon.com slash Kind of Funny. So thank you, Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster, Delaney the Somptwining,
Starting point is 00:04:37 and Lex Nomad. For now, let's begin with Topic of the show. Tots, Tots, Tots. See, I do the Tots. You and Andy just don't recognize it. Well, you didn't do it yesterday. I'm fifth voice.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Well, you didn't do it yesterday. So how are you going to tell me that you do it and then we didn't recognize, but you didn't do it? I think I was occupied at that moment. Well, you're looking at the hernia. Let's go to topic of the show. That's not, stop, stop.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Of course, it is going to be my 2026, month-by-month predictions revisited. Everybody, if you remember in January, Mike was there. He was on the podcast, even though he doesn't remember it. He was sitting right next to me. I had an argument on camera. It was great. I went through and I did predictions for every single month of the year. And we are seven, almost eight months into this whole year.
Starting point is 00:05:26 And we got some bills to pay. We got some, we got some things to talk about here. We got some things to look back on. Yeah, some things to look back on. Something good. Something's right off the rip just way wrong. So we're going to have a conversation about it. So let's just get into it, Mike.
Starting point is 00:05:41 We have a long show here. January, this is almost going to read verbatim of what exactly what I said. Let's read it. High guard is primed to be a failure. Dot, dot, dot, dot. But the game will be pretty solid and do very well. with free to play, the game will launch
Starting point is 00:06:00 at a high steam concurrent and I put 150,000 players and find a community. To me, they're trying to replicate an apex formula go dark and then release. Okay?
Starting point is 00:06:13 So then I have some notes right here. They did hit a peak of 100,000 players and then failed to hit a similar number after that and then the internet hated them and then the game shut down in March. So,
Starting point is 00:06:25 you know. Oh, you took notes on what happened? Yeah, just a little bit. Yeah, just a little bit there. Yeah, upsetting. That was a rough one to start off the predictions with. Yeah, that one really, man, from the Jeff Keely announcement at the Game Awards, ending that right, or Summer Game Fest?
Starting point is 00:06:41 Game Awards. Game Awards, too. Hey, we wanted to do this as a stealth drop. Then Jeff gave us the opportunity. Then the internet turned on us because we didn't show any gameplay. And they hated that. And we went quiet for two weeks because our goal was to stealth drop the game, but the internet already knew about us.
Starting point is 00:06:57 and wanted to know more about us, but we didn't plan to tell them anything about us, so we weren't ready for that. Then we pivoted and we tried to start telling everybody about us, and it just kind of became this roll, this snowball that was built up and then pushed down the hill for just, this isn't going to work. And it turned out it unfortunately didn't work.
Starting point is 00:07:13 The game itself actually ran well, played well. It had an interesting formula, just a formula that did not work for today's gaming audience, right? The idea of a mixed battle royale meets a, a tactical bomb, defend, an attack situation,
Starting point is 00:07:31 just, it wasn't the right formula. They put some stuff inside of the kettle and it just didn't work. Yeah, it's upsetting.
Starting point is 00:07:37 I mean, because it had a good idea there, and I do think without, honestly, I think the game would have been probably more successful
Starting point is 00:07:45 with how maybe the game awards thing because I, and especially the fact that they didn't have anything to follow up with it. I think that was the upsetting thing,
Starting point is 00:07:52 is that like, gamers were upset with that last, uh, reveal because they expected, you know, the big AAA game that we, you know, the studio were waiting for, the franchise were waiting for. And it's just another multiplayer game and people got up in arms and we're pretty upset about it, especially with people accusing Jeff of like taking the money and everything, even though he says, no, I didn't take no money for it. I just really appreciated
Starting point is 00:08:12 this game and I wanted it to end my show and I wanted to show something that, you know, is coming out pretty soon. But the biggest, I think, mistake on their part was not having materials to follow that up, right? Having the one trailer and then the internet found the weak spot and focused on it of like where the fuck is this game what is this game and releases in a week what are we talking about where and like people were jogging on the fact that they only had like one key arc key art that they were reusing constantly constantly constantly they had no other promotional materials and they clearly were not ready for this and it's it's a very sad thing to see this team that made something pretty cool but and they pivoted a lot of times right they changed
Starting point is 00:08:50 what was it the was it four v four i forgot what what was the match they changed something about like the matches. It was 3 v3, and then they added 4. 6 v6, something. Something like that. They added something pretty fast, and we're all like, oh, that's fun. But at that point, it was already crashing and burning, right? It wasn't ready to go. So, Hart goes out to developer. That always sucks, but, yeah,
Starting point is 00:09:09 I was completely wrong on that one. So that's a big zero points right there, right? Okay, okay, okay. I mean, what would you give me? I give you zero points. Oh, okay. You don't even like a 0.25 or anything fun earlier than? A steam concurrent count got to 97, so you were close. Pretty close. Pretty close. All right, let's go. Oh, and then Mike, you put out,
Starting point is 00:09:25 here for January. This is one of years. See, this shows that you were on the show. Yes. You said, Mike, you didn't say Mike. You said, Fallout 3 remake is announced for Spring at Developer Undersword Direct. Yeah, unfortunately, that didn't happen at Developer Direct. It happened after mass layoffs and then Asa Sharma coming in and saying, we're going to focus on the temples. Todd Howard, get out there and tell them we're only making fallout and Sky. Ever. That's all happening. And Todd went out and said, hey, everybody, obsidian is going to make a new fallout game. We're making Fallout out. We got Fallout.
Starting point is 00:09:55 We got Fallout remasters. So yeah, we got it eventually. You got it eventually. I'll give you a 0.25 on that one. Point two five on that one. There it is. Now, this is a funny one. February.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Valve's big February is what I called this one. The first week of February, Steam Machine launches at the end of the month. $750 is what I said. This was the price of the Valve index at launch with headset and controller. So that was my reasoning behind it. That's the reason why I thought $7.50 was this
Starting point is 00:10:22 was going to replace the skew of the highest selling thing that they are the most expensive piece of physical hardware that they had right there. The steam frame is going to be $1,000. This is the same price as a steam index with all sensors. And then the controller was going to be $90. Price a bit higher than usual to recoup some of the price of machine. So, fun fact about the $750, this was the targeted price for the steam machine.
Starting point is 00:10:45 This was actually, it came out afterwards after the steam machine was launched at, what was it, over $1,100, that this was the internal pricing of what they were. were trying to go for. So that is pretty funny that I hit the nail on the head of like $750. Where they wanted to be. Where they wanted to be. Of course, we don't know anything about the Steam frame.
Starting point is 00:11:04 There was the rumors that people, you know, were playing it or like the potentially reviewers have it because there's like a back end thing of like the welcome to, you know, the same thing that happened with the Steam machine right before it launched and and came up for pre-order. So Steam frame is in the ether.
Starting point is 00:11:18 It says, Oh yeah, we didn't get to that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we don't. Yeah, I was wondering. I was like, where's that head? Yeah, we don't have.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Yeah, we don't know. I think about it. So that's there. And then Steam Controller was $100. So $10 off. I'll get out. I'm like, I don't know. I wouldn't necessarily give it to me.
Starting point is 00:11:34 But I'm like, I'm right there in the idea of this is going to be more of an expensive controller, but not too, too premium. Yeah. Controller I'll give you because you're within $10. I'll give you the controller. I'm generous here with the point.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Oh, thank you. I appreciate that. Steam machine launches at the end of the month of February. No. Of course not. Yeah, that's a big one. You could double that. You can double that.
Starting point is 00:11:53 You can double that. It's done for $1,400 for the $2. Air bite one. Yeah, Steam machine was $1,050 in the U.S. So completely wrong on that. And Steamframe, we don't know anything about. So, yeah, all that was bungled. You know what? But I'll give it to you, Roger. You're seeing the future.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Roger Dramus out here is taking some shots at the dartboard, and you're getting close. I have some of them, yeah. Second week of February. So this is not the end of February. We're still going on with February. Half-Life 3 is announced. Yeah. You keep holding on to that one. Yeah. There will be an
Starting point is 00:12:25 explicit reference to aperture science in the trailer somewhere, but you will not see a traditional portal gun. Date for Steam Machine, Frame, and Half-Life 3, March 23rd, the sixth anniversary of Half-Life Alex. And then I also put on top of that, if I wasn't nailing it perfectly enough, I said Half-Life 3's Open Critic will be 94. You know, Half-Life 3, it's out there. Steam Frame, any day now, any day now, it's going to happen. Yeah. Could still happen with it. what do you feel about half-life-3? Is this, because there was a moment where we had like a mass psychosis in the industry in the world where we're like, actually, no,
Starting point is 00:13:02 half-o-th-three is not only real. It is coming out in the next few weeks. I think you started that. Yes, but also it's not just me. You got this office, believe it in that. You had Greg Miller on the microphone yelling about a half-life-3. Well, maybe that was my call for him to draft Half-Lift 3 for the policy. Yeah, maybe.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Yeah. No, I'm on deadlock. Oh. Let's get the deadlock 1.0 first. Let's get deadlock out to the actual public and real. Yeah. And then we talk about Half-Life or whatever... Interesting.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I still feel Half-Life 3 exists. I mean, Half-Life X, HLX in the fucking source code has been in development for years. As someone points out, someone in the chat just, oh, Charlie and the Chessess, HLX is sooner than later. Been six plus years in development. I mean, that is true from everything we have seen. This game has been developed for a very long time. Does that correlate to it actually coming out this year?
Starting point is 00:13:50 Probably not. I mean, this is also the GTA year. this is the year of Ocarina of Time remake, this is the year of so many fucking games, does Valve just look around and say, we don't need this. But maybe they also look around and say, we need a huge win.
Starting point is 00:14:01 We want a huge win. What if we have multiple wins this year? What if we bury the losses on the physical hardware side of things when, you know, the steam machine is a thousand plus dollars, the steam frame is going to be over $1,000 probably. Yeah. You know, what if we just put out Halflight 3
Starting point is 00:14:14 and Deadlock in the same year? Maybe the orange box, too? Or we just continue what we're doing and be the place for PC gamers to come and buy and play their game. Or you can have some whimsy in your life. Well, you could have some whimsy in your life and you can think and you can open your heart.
Starting point is 00:14:30 I'm going to still ask the question. I know I get people fired up, but I'll ask the question still because I'm a little doubtful on this. Does Half Life have the juice, Roger? Does the Half Life 3 have the juice for a global takeover? I know the old heads, hold it dear. They appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I've played Half Life 1 and 2. I appreciate it. I enjoy it, right? But just like when I brought up with, you know, perfect dark, Indiana Jones proved me wrong. Indiana Jones had some juice. It did. Does Half-Life have the juice to get the mainstream gamer,
Starting point is 00:15:05 the kids playing this and going, this is, wow, half-life is in my life and I've never experienced this? Absolutely. And the reason I say that is because it is going to be such a monumental moment of like so many people have waited for this, the old heads have waited for it, right? So even if the kids that haven't played it yet, there's going to be that moment like Silk Song, right?
Starting point is 00:15:22 You saw so many people buy Silk Song, even though they haven't played half, a Holo Night 1, right? Like, that number, like, what was it? Like, doubled the amount of the, the Steam concurrence, I think more than doubled, the seam concurrence for Hollow Night 1. So it's like, there is that,
Starting point is 00:15:37 that kind of domino effect of game has hype, high, high, people talk about, talk about, it's out now? Fuck, I'm gonna buy it, even though I haven't played the other ones, just because I need to be part of that conversation. And you're gonna have that reinvention of people, not a reinvention, the reintroduction of people going back and playing Half-Life 1 and 2, playing Black Mesa, playing Half-Life 2, and the episodes, and also, I think, the portal games,
Starting point is 00:15:59 because if the rumors and just the thought process of where we're going with Half-Life is, we have to connect the Portal Universe a little bit into this. And I think that there's going to be a, there's a moment for Valve Renaissance right now of their older games, because they still hold up. And even though, you know, their old games old, there's new ways to play those games. So there's the remix, which I think is not the full game for Half-Life 2, but at least you have Black Mesa there. So I do think that there is that moment where people come together and say, hey, I haven't played the old games, but I'm going to try them out now.
Starting point is 00:16:28 So I do, I am less hopeful that it's this year, but I don't think it's impossible. I genuinely do not believe it's impossible. You have five months. I mean, they do things weird over there. They just turn around and say, hey, by the way, we're making consoles. Okay, yeah, yeah. Well, that was the business move.
Starting point is 00:16:47 That was a smart move there. But unfortunately, it didn't pay off. It didn't pay off. It was close. Yeah, it also sucks for Steam Machine. We talk about that to death, but man, that sucks. That was so expensive. I think $7.50 would have been the right price for that.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I think we could have gotten a lot more people on to it around there. All right. That's it for February. How many points you give me for that? Roger, here's a goose egg. That's called a zero. You get a zero for that one. I hate you.
Starting point is 00:17:12 I hate you. All right, March. Nintendo direct time. Yeah. Was there Nintendo Direct March? Nintendo Direct March, 2026. Yeah, we watched one without Tim.
Starting point is 00:17:24 No, there was not one. There was an indie world showcase during that time. So I'm just going to go through, and I'm going to just tell you all these things that I got wrong. Fire Unable and Fortunes Weave, July, 26. That's a September game. Tomodachi, that was April, 26,
Starting point is 00:17:39 but I said June 2020. Okay. Yoshi, June 26. That was May, 2026. Oh, you're only a couple months off, Raj. Rhythm Heaven, December 2026. That came out last month, right? We just played that, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:50 That was June 2026 then. Splatoon Raiders, September 26, that was this month. Okay. Okay, I mean, well, not great. All these are wrong. And also, a lot of these games that I said these dates on, they were already confirmed for spring or whatever.
Starting point is 00:18:03 So I don't know why I fucking said any of this, but I think I was just thinking about things. Yeah, you were big brain. I was big brain, and I was thinking they were going to move things around. Ocarina of Time remake, A, November 2026. That still could get, That still could earn you some points.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Hey, come on. Six months before the Zelda movie, just like Galaxy released six months before the galaxy movie. Now, here's the thing, guys. If this is November 2026, I think I should get a point for that because that is some incredible logic right there. Are you saying everything gets one point
Starting point is 00:18:32 or like the whole thing is... I don't know. We haven't figured any of this out. I'm just saying I think I deserve a point for just... Ocarina of Time remake November 2026. Yeah, but it's not real yet. I know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:42 But at 0.25. I'll tell you what points I'm going to give you I'm the point giver But it says, I mean, they announced it They announced Ocrieotime remake exists Yeah And then I have Dusk Bloods announced for August
Starting point is 00:18:57 With the direct delving into it in April None of that happened What's the last? We don't have a release date for that game No, but we have a closed beta In August That's coming out soon, yeah So we're still waiting for the closed beta here
Starting point is 00:19:08 Do we have the date on the closed beta? I can probably give it to you Yeah, let me know If that's in August I think that's something You know what I mean? That could be something. And then this is my big one, which I thought was big brain.
Starting point is 00:19:19 It came to me in a dream. It came to me in a vision. But I don't think it's going to be happening. Rosalina spinoff game this year, October, 2026. They will be the end of August, August 21st through the 24th. Okay. Registration just closed three days ago. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:35 It was July 22nd through the 28th you could register. And then people will be playing Dusk Bloods end of the month. Okay. So I got it wrong. But at least I got some connection. August. Okay, yeah. Oh, a little bit of something, a little bit of something. And then Rosalina spinoff game this year, October 2026. Of course, I got almost all of this incorrect, except for Ocarina time, potentially coming out November 2026. It has been the rumor. Okay, I'm a generous
Starting point is 00:19:59 point giver here, Roger. You were within the ballpark of about a month to two month on a lot of these releases. You might be on the money for Ocarina of time. Dust Bloods does announce for August, no, but possibly playable in August, yes. I didn't say, I didn't say it was announced to come out. You point zero nine of a point. Wow. They get a little bit of a point. 9%? Yeah. I like that.
Starting point is 00:20:31 If Okerena locks it on November, I'll give you 15% of the point. Wow. Okay, I'll take it. I'll take the 15%. I'll take, I like that. I like that. I think I'm going to get 15% everybody. That's exciting right there. All right. April. This should be a quick one. Actually, I see a double whammy right there. April I had two predictions.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Fallout 3 remake is released. There's no mention of New Vegas. The honeymoon period is fairly short as the internet discussion overwhelms with questions of New Vegas remake. Oh, wow. Which I thought that was pretty clever because it's like, you know, I feel like the audience is going to be like, okay, fallout three, yeah, but like, where the fuck is New Vegas, right?
Starting point is 00:21:06 So I think that's also why Oshah honestly got ahead of it of like, hey, we're doing both of them. Because I do think next year is probably Fall Out 3 remake, and I think the year after that is probably New Vegas. I don't think we're doing those back to back. Yes, I agree with you on that, Roger. Fallout Day next year will be a big one. It'll be in D.C.
Starting point is 00:21:20 It'll be Fallout 3 rematch. I don't think you're going to be doing. Now the question becomes, what does Obsidian do? Do they go Fallout New Vegas too? Do they really try to give us something different? I think you lean into two. I think you go back to Fallout New Vegas.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Sorry, what is your thing? What is Obsidian going to do? Oh, for their next game. game. Where do they go? What do they do, Raj? I think you go back to Fallout New Vegas too. I would love that. I would love that. But I do think that they just make another, they do another area. I don't think that they go back to New York City. And is it titled Fallout whatever area? Because they won't have to be in numbers. New Orleans, whatever it is, whatever they were thinking. I don't think you go New Vegas too. I think that's just a little bit too
Starting point is 00:22:07 far for them. Yeah. I don't know. I would love it. I think that's like an easy win of like, we're back here to stay new Vegas two that expands off into the Colorado Rockies you're in Vegas you start on the strip the outskirts of the desert and then you start to slowly make your way up to the Colorado Rockies and that's where you settle in fallout Colorado Rockies fallout Rocky I'm hoping I'm hoping for fall on New Vegas too I I would rather them not do that because especially we're going to have New Vegas remaster which I think is going to scratch that itch for so many people. At that point, just like, let's just let them have their own creative endeavor
Starting point is 00:22:49 on a different place that feels, that feels like something they really want to do now instead of like, let's just, you know, beat the dead horse. And then going on to the next one really quick, I said, Marathon, this is still for April, I put two for some reason. Marathon does pretty well from the jump, but Peters out over the year. It launches on Steam with 150,000 concurrent. I was completely wrong on that. That was an 80,000 concurrent.
Starting point is 00:23:13 for a marathon right there. And yeah, it's not doing, it's petering out this year, so I'm right about that. I don't know what the SteamDB is showing right now at this very moment. Mike's on. It's a, 4,500 players. Of course, this is on multiple ecosystems and platforms, so that's not the only number we always talk about. We got very obsessed with Steam chart numbers this year.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Because it's the only one that we can see, right? Yeah. But we got real obsessed with Steam chart numbers, you know. Yeah. for Marathon just wasn't quite what the players wanted. It had a lot of good in it. It just didn't break through the mass appeal of the audience, similar to Arc Raiders and what Arc Raiders did,
Starting point is 00:23:56 where it was able to catch fire and get a lot of people on board. Marathon and Bungee, I thought, would have carried a little bit more on that. But playing it the first time, I knew it wasn't quite as approachable as what Art Graders did and how it felt. And so they had to make a lot of changes. they're continuing to make changes. They have a PVE mode that they've been testing and that they'll fully release here.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I think it's on life support. I don't know how long you'll get it. It's a crazy world that we live in, that Destiny 3 isn't the next thing that this team would be working on. If you asked me five years ago, after what we just experienced for 10 years with Destiny 1 and 2, it would have been simple of like,
Starting point is 00:24:37 you keep that looter, shooter going. You keep this hit franchise going into Destiny 3, and we continue to keep this going. But yeah, that's not the course. No, for sure not. Yeah, it's, especially with the lead developer or director there leaving. I'm just very worried for the future of them. But Mike, we have a lot more show, a lot more things to get into.
Starting point is 00:25:00 But before we do that, we get into an alleged PlayStation showcase in May. I'm going to tell you about our sponsors. What's up, everybody? It's Greg here to talk to you about Patreon Pledge Month. If you enjoyed the crazy amount of SGF coverage we put out in June, consider tossing us a few bucks this month with a Patreon membership or upgraded pledge for that lovely month of July. We'll be putting up some of our favorite Gregways from the year publicly
Starting point is 00:25:26 to give you a taste of what goes up daily for members. This week, why, you're getting me and Jen reflecting on nine years of marriage and teaching Ben about LGBTQ plus equality. Earlier this month, of course, we announced a new perk coming. to Patreon. The person who gifts the most Patreon memberships on patreon.com slash Kind of Funny will receive a custom character in our games cast intro for the next month done by the one and only Andy Cortez. Our first winner is Alex. Andy will be working on this during a gameplay stream this week and it'll be included in the slideshow between the shows as
Starting point is 00:26:02 well as the games cast intro for the month of August. Congratulations, Alex. And congratulations to all you for supporting Kind of Funny all the time. We hope you go this extra mile by heading over to patreon.com slash kind of funny where we get the best membership ad rev split in supporting us. And we are back. Let's talk about May. I said that a PlayStation showcase was going to happen and we are going to, because we are going on three years since the last showcase. Of course, PlayStation Showcase is dead. It is just state of play now.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Yeah. So now we're just doing state of plays. I was just hopeful that we would go back to Showcase. June 2nd, 2026 is when we got the last showcase. showcase, I mean the, sorry, state of play, but this is for the May. So I'm already wrong on that regard. Let me just break down what I thought was going to happen. Fair Games is back and released, releasing next year. I said in parentheses, probably not, but they put 2027 on. That's a, okay. And then Blessing put down here, he said, by May, fair games is canceled. So we're both wrong on
Starting point is 00:27:05 where do we stand on fair games? Fair games. The last time we heard about it, it was a different name. Yeah, changed it. Well, allegedly. allegedly changed names. Okay. I forget what the name of it is now that people are saying. But yeah, Fair Games is, has, we've no word on it. It has not been canceled necessarily. We have no word on it.
Starting point is 00:27:24 It's a, what was the fair games every year? Fair games, you know, bomb. Break in, break in, I think. Ponton is saying. Is what people think the new name of it is. Okay. Yeah, so break in is what we're thinking. But yeah, no word on it, no word on cancellation, no word on date.
Starting point is 00:27:38 So we're all wrong on that regarding. A competitive heist experience coming to. to the PS5 and PC. Yeah. That was back in May 2024, 2023, when they introduced this. Haven Studios.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Okay. Hold on. The 2D God of... Okay. And then I said after that, God of War, unannounced project is shown for an August release date.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Now, this was the 2D game that we were talking about. Sons of Sparta. When was that release day? When was that? That was also the same. same day as the state of play that they also had there. That was in the beginning of the year, right?
Starting point is 00:28:19 So that was like a March or something like that, February. So wrong on that regard. A lot of war sons of Sparta came out in February 12th, 2026. Yeah. This was from the team that did Megatatat Studios, which did backyard baseball. Yes, correct. And they also did that five nights of Friday 2D game, which was good. So that was wrong in that regard.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Wolverine, I said, would be shown. be an October release date. That was a month off. That September. Horizon co-op game is dated for early next year. That game was just revealed randomly. So that was not,
Starting point is 00:28:56 no release date on that. They haven't. Hunters Gathering. Yeah, there was, and that was revealed on, do we have a reveal date on that? Yeah, there's no, there's nothing there. Yeah, that was not there.
Starting point is 00:29:07 They did like a random. February 5th, 2026, a nine minute reveal. Yeah, that was before the state of play. So they just kind of put. that out there didn't associate with the state of play yeah and then Witcher 3 DLC is shadow dropped here
Starting point is 00:29:20 that is incorrect that was announced on May 27th 2026 and is coming out next year and we assume we're going to see that at gamescom I would assume so yeah I would I believe so right didn't they say they were going to be there the wish we did I remember the thumbnail so we should be seeing that yes I'm excited about that
Starting point is 00:29:37 and then I said there will be a big presence from Sony studio film and television I was very surprised that didn't happen for any of these. I associated Sony's television and film department as trying to get in on PlayStation and what their branding is and the amount of people and hype behind it that they would go and be like, hey, everybody,
Starting point is 00:29:59 you know, part of the state of play now is we're going to show you, we're going to bring out Jason Mamoa to talk about the fucking Helldivers movie or something. No, no, they learned from Xbox doing that. See, yes and no, right? Because they did do the thing for Kojima where they showed like the connective tissue between Sony's television and movie department with their gaming stuff. I just don't think, I think that that is still going to happen one day. I just don't think it was the time right now.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Because Sony's television and movie department is, I'm not struggling, but they need franchises. And I do think that PlayStation is the best place for them to go. And also, they're already connecting it with Alamo Draft House and stuff. I don't know. I feel like we're eventually going to get to that place. Well, we got the official photo of Cratos and Atreus in February. Something right there. Something.
Starting point is 00:30:40 There's something for you. The multiple months off. No bloodborne. intergalactic. That's a check on that. That's a check. And then I said we will finally see Corey Barlog's project to close up the show. Not space sci-fi. So, I mean,
Starting point is 00:30:54 no one really predicted that it was God of War Lafie. Everyone was associating it with like other franchises. But it's not space or sci-fi and we did show that. No, they're making God of War forever. Yeah, they're only making God of War. That's all we can. They're only making God of War. Barrett's prediction over here for
Starting point is 00:31:10 May is that, oh sorry, for July is that he says, Hollow Night Nintendo Switch 2 edition and Sea of Sorrows early July. So he got one of those correct earlier in this year where Switch 2 edition for Hollow Night, I believe already came out. See of Sorrows is still not dated.
Starting point is 00:31:26 So we have no idea where that game is and what is going on there. Moving on to June, Mikey. I said Assassin's Creed 4 re-synced is coming out in August. Okay, so that was this month. So a month off. You were close on that.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And now I was really close with this one, Mike. And Sands of Time. is September. Can you believe how fast the world moves? Yeah, that's gone. That's just gone. That's just been in my memory is always canceled. But there was a moment in the beginning of this year where I looked around and said, yeah, for sure, that game's coming out this year. Because we all thought it was. Remember there was that moment where there was like, oh, it's being shadow dropped. Oh, I don't think you, do you remember this? It was like January, February, we were like, oh my gosh, it's going to be, it's going to be revealed
Starting point is 00:32:05 or whatever. It's going to happen. And then that game was just canceled out of nowhere. So yeah, that sucks. I'm still so sad about that one. And it's unfortunate because now we, we're seeing Ubisoft find the success of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynct, and they're definitely just going to go back to remaking a bunch of the classics, and it's like, there was one right there. You were right there. Yeah. I mean, I think it's just a math equation of like, hey, X amount millions of dollars that we
Starting point is 00:32:29 have to put porn to this to continue to make this happen. And then also the game is going to only sell X amount of millions of copies. So that was six months ago. So that was like right in January they announced that they stopped that. Hilarious. I think it was like literally a week after we did this or something about. That's crazy. June, I said, this is just
Starting point is 00:32:44 Summer Game Fest stuff, I guess, I didn't make sure of things. You will not see Judas. We will all question if this game is ever coming out. I think I got, we're right, we didn't see Judas. I also, I think I got the second part wrong, because I think we all have already forgotten that this game is coming out,
Starting point is 00:32:58 and we don't believe it's coming out, so then no one has talked about this game. We got Judas, we have BioShack. We now have that magicians game that we saw, announced. They all look very similar, Bioshock-esque-inspired there. Yeah, we got a lot, and we also have...
Starting point is 00:33:17 We also have a Clockwork Revolution, which is a little bit of Bioshock-esque-a. A little bit. I mean, when I see it, I think, kind of the Bioshock Infinite. Ghost Story games developing Judas, yes, okay. Yeah, so, I don't know. I don't know what's going on with Judas. I don't believe that that game...
Starting point is 00:33:32 I believe that game is real. It will probably come out. I have no hype for it. Oh, really? I have zero hype for it. It sucks, because I just... I just... this feels just weird to me.
Starting point is 00:33:42 It's like it's, it's, it's Bioshock, but it's not Bioshock, but it's almost too Bioshock. And then like everything I hear, Ken Levine talking about it, just, it just doesn't sound like what I want to. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:54 It was shown at the Game Awards 2022. Yeah. And then he, I remember randomly, maybe a year or two after that, he'd brought like a few random. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:34:01 I was just saying, didn't skill up in the FPS team? Randomly. Didn't they interview him and talk about it? Or did they play it? Yes. Yeah, I think so. I remember a bunch of bizarre.
Starting point is 00:34:10 A couple of people had previews for that, right? Yeah, Ryan McCaffrey. Macafry had a preview, yeah. Weird. Yeah, I don't know what's going on with you just over there. And then my other one right here, new mainline Sonic came will be revealed.
Starting point is 00:34:20 It looks better than it has any right to. There will be a chow. All of that was wrong. We only saw Pico Park Sonic, which is so funny because it's like, usually Sonic is like a bankable character to show up at any of these given June showcases.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Yeah. And literally this is the one year where it's like, we got nothing for you. We got Pico Park Sonic. That's about it. Interesting. Yeah. Sonic is,
Starting point is 00:34:41 is taking it off year this year. You got to pull back sometimes. You got to pull back sometimes. This is funny. This is a funny one. I mean, this is, this is, this is an interesting one. Electronic Arts reveals a major game and unabashedly uses AI.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Masks off, no fuck's giving. I'm talking full on with something like the Sims. Imsoi did it. And they're about to be bought out by Saudi Arabia. So who gives a fuck? Fuck you. We don't care. You're a casual gamer.
Starting point is 00:35:06 So we don't have to try with you. We will put AI in the shittiest way possible inside of our game. maybe a chat bot, maybe some type of gen AI art, but they will put AI in one of their big major franchises. That's word for word what I said. hilarious. I don't think they've done that yet.
Starting point is 00:35:22 I was going to say, Roger, I don't think they've gone full mask off on the AI yet. Not yet. They are getting bought out by Saudi Arabia, but they have yet to say, fuck you, here's AI slap. Coming up. That's one. So we will see. Take it back.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Take it to the bank. We will see that very soon. After we just watched the music video that was three and a half minutes long from the shift up company making another stellar blade just used full AI on it. Mr. Papa Shot says, have you seen the assets an ultimate team? They have, they 100% have. Mr. Papa Shot, man, do you remember when
Starting point is 00:35:54 college football came out the first year? And they did the ultimate team and I was screaming from the rooftop of like, we can't be giving this money because they were just using the little character model that they had and it looked so bad. It's like, get the photos of the kids. What are we doing? I mean, I'm looking at some of these car designs. these are I don't know if it's
Starting point is 00:36:14 full mask off I think that's still mask on that's still mask on for me I'm not even giving myself point I'm not even giving myself points for this one because it's like I what I mean is like literally like they don't give a fuck and they're making a trailer about it like that's how like they're like
Starting point is 00:36:28 hey everybody here's the fucking chat bot here's a chat you could talk to you could talk we're using AI yeah you can goon with your sins now you can have a good time August Bill Spencer announces resignation from Xbox at the end of the year.
Starting point is 00:36:43 This time, for real. And I said, this happened in February. But also, they said he confirmed this in 2025 around fall. So I get a double whammy because last year I also predicted this. So technically, I want two points. Fuck you all. I said it, everybody. I said it.
Starting point is 00:36:59 I don't care if it's months off. I said it. And I was- You know what, Roger, we'll give that one to you. You got to give it to me. You got a lot of misses. A lot of misses. A lot of misses.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Sometimes when you get a win, we're going to celebrate that. We got to celebrate the win. I was right. I was right about this. And I think my thought process was correct on it. Of like, hey, let's, let's, I thought he was going to do it after the summer game fest stuff of like, just get, like having one last big one and leaving. But it actually makes more sense for him to do it before the summer game fest stuff.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Lead up, have a new vision, have a new person, do the summer game fest up and then lay off every single person that works at Xbox. So, yeah, that makes, that makes sense for me. So I'll take it. I'll take it everybody. I'll take the one point. September. I just unbuckled my watch for some reason. I don't know why I did that. September, Halo campaign evolved will be released.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Completely wrong on that one. That was this month. And so will Halo multiplayer evolved. Both for $40. That's why they did it. So they could charge you $80 for a remake and split it up. Little did we know that they didn't know what they were doing with multiplayer. And they just fell apart there. I'm sure if they had the thought process to do that, they would have done it. But they just didn't really know what they're doing over there.
Starting point is 00:38:11 That was unfortunate there, Raj. Currently going for $50 for the game. Of course, you could have got that early access for $70 to play a week early as the Xbox teams normally do with their games. No multiplayer, which, you know, is unfortunate. I think there was a window there that you could have made a Halo 1 multiplayer remake, put that out there attached to this, similar to the old Halo games, and kind of have that full product package out there, especially if you're introducing it to the PlayStation fans.
Starting point is 00:38:42 I think you would have had a solid month or three months of multiplayer action before Gears comes out and the nice runway of like here at the end of during summer, end of summer of like, hey, Halo is being played, it's out there. Maybe you sell some micro transactions and then you move into gears. I thought that would have been a better business model than, hey, here's the campaign. That's 13 levels. You're probably going to beat it in about 10 hours. There is replayability.
Starting point is 00:39:07 So it's really up to you to want to replay those. 13 levels, but like there is something here that I think got missed in translation. It will be interesting to see if they still do Halo 2 and 3 remakes, if they have a change of heart and try to chase down any multiplayer or where that studio really stands on what the next true move is going to be. Yeah, I would, I personally would love for them to get to three, just that's the one that hasn't been remade. We have to go through remaking the ones that have already been remade in some way before we get to
Starting point is 00:39:36 the one that hasn't been remade yet. Yeah. So I would personally love three. But yeah, I don't know, man. I think I just couldn't fathom the, like, the thought process behind this is, like, I just could not fathom them releasing a Halo game that didn't have multiplayer. Like, I just, I couldn't, in my brain, it's just, they're one, their interconnected web right there, other than ODST, right, which stands by itself.
Starting point is 00:39:55 But, like, I just assume Halo always has to have multiplayer. And I thought it was insane the idea that they would not have multiplayer. And I couldn't crack the code of them doing a free-to-play thing around the same time, which was the rumor and the idea thought process of like, hey, maybe they do a multiplayer free-to-play thing that launches around this thing. And now, like, the reports coming out, like they don't necessarily have a multiplayer thing
Starting point is 00:40:15 in development right now. The canceled one that was with... Is that certain affinity or is... Yeah, yeah, which is, like, they've gone through hell trying to make a Halo game and a Halo multiplayer thing, and it's just not working out for them. And, yeah, we just don't know
Starting point is 00:40:29 what we're doing with Halo right now when it comes to the multiplayer side. It's going to hit the hard reset here with Asher team. Again. Again. Yeah. Where are we taking this franchise?
Starting point is 00:40:38 this is a flagship franchise that should be treated way better than it already is. How are we not seizing and capitalizing? How are we not making multiple multiplayer projects at once? Thank God we bought up the industry and bought Call of Duty.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Don't worry. Their yearly franchise will save us. Do you know how to make a shooter game? You're going to make a Halo game. Now everyone's making Halo games. That's what's going to happen. All of these. Yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 00:40:59 I mean, I say it all the time. You should be calling up machine games and Id. They should be making a Halo ODS. They should be making a fun single player. of laying off a large majority of what id software was we could have taken that team and give them halo like that would have been a cool
Starting point is 00:41:14 idea how excited would the industry would be hey id software is making a fucking halo game like that would be sick that'd be so sick make your own make your own multiplayer thing going on over there god damn yeah but no we couldn't do that we couldn't do that um this one i just want to get the confirmation on this mdivore release it is okay i was right on that run on half of this we don't know yet so now we're going into the future
Starting point is 00:41:37 I mean, we've already been in the future. I said August, September, now we're in October. Modern Warfare 4 will be really good. Not as good as Blackop 6, though. Then we will find even more Gen. A.I. than we did last time. And the game will do about the same as Blackop 7 did this past year. Call of Duty sales are in decline.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Microsoft will rock the boat in two years with some changes. So a lot there. Okay, you have a lot there. Let's go. October, Modern Warfare 4, correct. Right? End of October is when that's coming up, correct? Correct that is.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Correct that part. It will be good. We don't know. We haven't played it. We don't know what's going on there. I did see it. And I've played multiplayer. Oh.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Yeah, we've talked about this in previous show. Oh, yes. With College of Duton Modern Warfare 4. I like the look of it. I like where they're going with this. I say that every time, though, because I just enjoy it. But I do think this will be a way better experience than Blackop 7, where we were last year.
Starting point is 00:42:33 Will it, I'm going to say, I'm going to say it, maybe better than six. Man, six was so good. We forget how good six was. But it's returned to modern warfare. Bro, like six was like game of the year level type shit. Like we was on our list. He made the official kind of funny list. That's how good it was.
Starting point is 00:42:49 Like that game is awesome. I just, for me like the fourth modern warfare, I don't know. I just don't believe in like Price going rogue. Yeah. As like the core of the story. He's going rogue, dude. But also we're in Korea and also we're doing this. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:43:03 We'll see. I don't know. We will see. I love six, man. And then the Gen. A.I. stuff. We have no idea what's going on there. We will see. I don't know. I do feel like there will be
Starting point is 00:43:11 a lot of Gen. AI in this game. What is that usually just calling cards? I'm saying there's going to be more. I'm saying there's going to be more of that. I think there's not going to stop that. They're just going to be like, if whatever that number is from the last game, how many calling cards were AI, there's going to be more of that. Okay. I think they're going to go, fuck. They're going to keep going. And then when it comes to Call Duty sales, that's also something I'm interested in. I...
Starting point is 00:43:32 Well, they're taking it off a game pass. Yes. Because last year they saw that. It was also not a strong Call of Duty whatsoever, right? But still sold well. It was still up in the top 10, wasn't it? Of course, yeah. These games are always going to sell well. It's just a matter of the line going down.
Starting point is 00:43:46 How well is right? Yeah. And I do, I think that there's a huge chance this game doesn't, keeps on like the trend of at least doing about the same as Blackup 7 or less than black up seven just because of the timing of it all. Yeah, of course, now we talk about what's the competition around them, right? There is no battlefield this year. Battlefield did very well.
Starting point is 00:44:03 That sucked up a lot of the sales. That sold very well. but the competition this year is not a shooter, it's GTA, right? And so they are coming out, we'll call it almost a month ahead of time. It's about three weeks ahead of time. Does that still get the call duty pop, the excitement? And then everybody says, I've forgotten any video game I've ever played because all I play is Grand Theft Auto now.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Yeah, so we'll see. I'm interested in that and also like the knock-on effect of, yeah, modern warfare and afterwards when it comes to any other video game when it comes to GT. It's coming to Switch as well. I'm very excited for that. I will be playing on Switch. I'm very interested in this year's Call Duty because there's a lot riding
Starting point is 00:44:40 kind of on it. And then you wrote, Microsoft will rock the boat in two years with some changes. What do you mean by that? I don't know what that means. I think that was a general call of like Asha, I guess before Asha,
Starting point is 00:44:50 right? I just saw that there's this moment of like they're going to have to have a reckoning with the way they've been doing Call of Duties and we're going to have to figure it out. Is it the call out of yearly titles? Whether that's another complete reboot, whether that's bringing in new studios,
Starting point is 00:45:02 whether that's changing the studio formats. Like they got to do, I think they will, Austin will look around and say, hey, everything's going, like, we're making money off of this, but we should be making more money, and there's something wrong here.
Starting point is 00:45:12 We need to figure out, okay, it wasn't GamePass as much, or maybe GamePass already tainted the brand so much, we need to figure out something else. I wish I had, like, a real answer for that one, but I do think they're going to shake it up. Well, right now we're ping ponging between modern warfare and black ops. We've kind of done away with the vanguard of it.
Starting point is 00:45:29 We haven't had that slide in of like a World War II or the third franchise coming in. They kind of need that to give these other two teams more time to develop that, right? So they have more time to making a wowing situation. Will we see that third one step in, an advanced warfare? Yeah, it's always weird because it's like, for me, it's like, World War II. I love World War II, but it's like, sorry, I shouldn't not say that.
Starting point is 00:45:53 I don't love World War II as a concept. I love World War II video games. Yeah. But every time they do it now in the modern era, I don't get excited about it anymore, right? Because it doesn't feel, it's just like, hey, also like, what are you going to do with war zone, right? Where it's like, you have these, you're just going to add a bunch of older guns. I guess they've done that with Cold War. They did that before. Yeah. Okay, cool. I just, I don't know. For me, it doesn't excite me as
Starting point is 00:46:13 like the Call of Duty fan that like wants to get in there and like, I don't know. It just feels so different. It feels like a different product that doesn't feel like the main line call of duties at this point where it's like I could see that being like a smaller spin-off thing in the beginning of the year instead of the instead of like the call of duty every single year. I don't know. That's always a weird one. I guess I think you would just have to do a third, a third franchise that is also in the modern era. you just need to figure out what that identity is. Yeah, but like we enjoy the battlefield ones of the world, right?
Starting point is 00:46:40 Like we enjoy going back and having that time period. We just don't want it year after year, which we saw with Battlefield 5 and 1 or whatever the year, whatever the numbers were. I think like Cold War. It's like, hey, we were into that. We don't want it. I think like NOM is like the farthest back you can go now. I think like that's just where we're at.
Starting point is 00:46:57 I think so, man. I think like, well, I don't think we can go back into World War II. I think you get one of those every five to 10 years, Matt. maximum. Yeah. If your call of duty, you can go back to World War II in that time period
Starting point is 00:47:10 once in a window. We'll see. I don't think that the shake-up is them removing your leave franchises. I don't think they stop it. I don't think they stop it. I think that the shake-up would be, okay, let's look around.
Starting point is 00:47:23 What's the new studio? We need another studio to bring some new life into this. Okay, I don't know what that looks like, but we need to shake this around a little bit, change the franchise up a little bit. We'll see. We'll see. November, surprise.
Starting point is 00:47:35 GTA 6 comes out this month You hit it Bang You know what I mean It's coming We don't we're unofficially There's still time to delay it But we have pre-orders open
Starting point is 00:47:44 That usually means like hey We can't go no Baxies on this one We're making this happen Especially with the digital ones Because they have to refund the money I believe With a lot of these storefronts So yeah
Starting point is 00:47:51 GTA 6 coming out in November So I can't wait I'm very excited Shut the world down Bang See everybody We're all playing GTA
Starting point is 00:48:00 It's gonna be a blast I'm gonna be in Jamaica I'm a honeymoon And I'm gonna bring the PS5. Sorry, I'm not going outside. We'll play a GTA.
Starting point is 00:48:12 December, this is for game awards. Which are for gameplay. I think that's still possible-ish, but I think more realistically you're going to see the DLC again or something like that. But I...
Starting point is 00:48:23 You'll see again? I don't know. Okay. You could see, I mean, you know, next year, maybe it's like a little like, hey, like not launch trailer, but you know, a few months out.
Starting point is 00:48:31 But which are four, I think it's still possible to be like, hey, which are, because it connects, the Witcher 4, right? The DLC. So it's like, okay, maybe we do some type of cross-pollination of like, hey, Witcher DLC, but also Witcher 4 exists. Remember that? Actually, it's coming out for real. We're making this happen. I think that game is like, not sooner than we would think, but waste.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Not as far as you might imagine. Okay. I think that game is maybe 2028, I would assume. As Jeff is speaking, such a Roger prediction. As Jeff is speaking, lights turn off, three goggles. Splinter Cell is shown off 2027 window shown Let me just tell you guys right now That is so wrong That will never happen Splinter Cell is dead
Starting point is 00:49:13 They've killed Sam Fisher They've murdered his entire family We're only getting season two of this Splinter Cell show on Netflix And no one else will watch it other than me It's never happening Sponor Sal is dead I hate my life
Starting point is 00:49:25 Assassin's Creed Bar Cry What are the other Ubisoft titles That they go back to? Doesn't screen far cry. There's something else in there. Dege and stuff, yeah. Rainbow Six.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Yeah, we will see something Tom Clancy related. I think it's going to be a remake of Wildlands, is what people thought it was going to be. If you show me fucking ghost recon, before you show me Splinter's all a game that's been in development for like six years, I don't know what to tell you guys. I don't know what's happening.
Starting point is 00:49:58 I don't know what's going on. And then this is the one that I'm actually banking on. I think that will happen. devil may cry six will will be revealed as the one more thing it will be the last thing not the one more thing necessarily because he doesn't do one more thing he doesn't say like oh also one more thing at the ending thing but he does do hey here's the last reveal I think it's going to be devil may cry six I mean still standing on that yeah I stand on that tent toes I think that that is a
Starting point is 00:50:21 he's so in bed with capcom right now he has such a connection to them I mean all of their big major franchises are pretty much revealed at keely showcases so I think DMC 6 is is probably the one that you see before everything else. But, yeah, I mean, people are talking about DMC one remake before DMC6. I could also see that. But I do think I would put my money on Devil May Cry 6 because that game has been doing incredibly well and the franchise has been doing well since the show came out.
Starting point is 00:50:52 But yeah, everybody. Okay. That has been it. This is it. This is my 2026 predictions. You took a lot of good shots, Roger. You took some shots. Got maybe one right out of the.
Starting point is 00:51:02 entire thing if you add up everything into one. It probably got one right. But I tried and I put my body on the line and you guys didn't. You know what I mean? Let me just let you guys know everybody. I, Roger McCorney and podcast Jesus Christ. I put my body on the line. I did this for
