This episode's brought to you by ORAFrames and Sundays for dogs, but we'll tell you about that later.
What's up everybody?
Welcome to the kind of funny games cast for Thursday, December 4th, 2025.
I'm one of your host, Greg Miller, alongside Forbes 30 under 30, aka New York Game Awards nominated, aka the Jokester.
Blessing at Yo-Jay, Jr. I don't know if you saw it.
He put on a clinic today on Games Daily for jokes.
I like when he called you out to
He was like, we got to get somebody better than Greg
to talk to Hideoe.
And I recommended you.
I was like, I get back to talk.
I know, I'm down to talk.
I'm down to talk to him.
Come on.
Didn't you absolutely say,
absolutely not Mike?
That's exactly what you said.
He gave me a shout-out.
Of course, he's the master of hype snow bike Mike.
What is up, my guy?
Greg Miller, it's great to see you.
You know what?
It's a special day because we're all together.
Yeah.
And we're going to celebrate December.
And December means winter.
And over across the street,
I saw my buddy Charlie.
And he was hanging out and I was like, you know what?
Wow, they got the Red Bull Winter Edition, the brand new winter.
The limited one.
The Fiji Apple and Ginger.
Why does it look like it was rolled down the street?
Well, you know, I'm banging some time.
And I thought, also why are you buying Red Bull?
They keep sending us Red Bulls.
I'm so excited to share this with my best friend Andy.
So I thought you and I would do a live taste test right now.
Oh, that's the Hispanic Hartrop, Texas Street, Latino.
He clicking heads and ripping her shreds, globetrotting, headshot,
I thought we could do this right now.
be great. Well, I don't know why I thought. I can't drink until one. I can't do the calories.
I get the fasting stuff until one. I'll take it. My, like I blessed you up and on their
grenade. Your new best friend. I'll kill you. I buy this for you and I. I'll kill you. That's
a threat. You mean I'll kill you. Did we just talk about this? Stop doing this. Stop doing this.
I have until one. You know the rule. I come into you and I at 11 o'clock. It's the new rule.
11 to 5 we started
You can't
We went out to eat yesterday
And
And talking about what can happen
What's up?
Sorry, can you unplug and re-plug your mic?
I'm sorry, it just keeps going out
Which is a different problem that we had last time.
And we're talking about
What we're doing for the rest of the night
And Mike says, oh yeah
How late were you?
How late were you to this dinner with Chris Anka?
Okay, I was in the middle of a night rain run, okay?
It was I didn't know
we're going to, I didn't know me and Melissa with a while we're going to keep dominating in
Night Rainer, okay?
We just kept on going, we kept on beating bosses.
Don't get me starting about that.
Okay, yeah.
Oh, yeah, somebody really.
Playing without me.
Somebody, oh yeah, you weren't happy about that.
But then he goes, oh yeah, well, Kevin A.SX is going to come over and install the soundbar.
And he goes, I am?
So we laugh about that.
And we're like, why can't you just be normal and ask somebody?
Anyway, an hour later, I'm home already.
I get a text message with a photo.
of Kevin A. Sex in selling some bar. He goes,
got him. What you mean
you got him? He's your friend. I told you
got him. God, damn. Oh, my God. What a fantastic dinner.
I had ice cream to you, Greg. Where'd you guys
go? Where did you guys go?
Spices. Spices. I love spices. You didn't take him to
House of Prime Rib? I offered it,
but he wanted Chinese food. That's like
the spot that we go whenever Chris's
is here. And then, you know, I'm like
I'm like a 10 minute walk, 15 minute walk away, right?
And we keep on walking, we keep on walking, and we keep on walking, we're getting closer and closer to my place.
And there's just a lot of threats of like, Andy, we're going to go, we go into your place.
I'm like, the dog will go crazy.
Okay, you tell Barry to text them right now.
Tell them to take her on a walk for 20 minutes.
We go in there.
We surprise everybody.
We hit the stream live.
Suddenly we're there in the room.
That's pretty cool.
And he just keeps on doing it.
I'm like, no, no, and he goes, Andy, the next time we're here, we're going in there.
And it's such a threat.
Like, we're going in that goddamn room.
It's just, oh, my God.
Then bless really quick, let's try the Red Bull Winter Edition, since he won't do it with me.
Before we go live, Mike's like, you know, we got a big day of content here.
Let's, you know what you think.
All right.
They're tasting.
They're doing it.
Oh, that's a nice apple touch to that.
I like that, actually.
Yeah, that's a nice one.
Fuji apple and ginger.
A little hint of ginger.
A little hint of your tummy.
Mainly a nice setting of apple.
It tastes like apple cider.
So you get that winter feel.
Yeah.
It does feel like early winter right there.
Yeah.
I know I love that.
I love this.
Beautiful.

and then the one, the only, MLB Legend.
Legend.
Hunter Pence.
Is he going to the Hall of Fame?
He's already a San Francisco Giant Hall of Famer.
I think he will go to the Hall of Fame.
for the impact.
I think there's a really good chance.
Hunter Pence joins us to teach the boys
dark and darker.
I impressed Andy earlier today with my baseball knowledge,
but that's a story for another time.
If you're a kind of funny member,
today's Greg Way is me having a panic attack live.
Thank you to our Patreon producers,
Carl Jacobs,
Omega Buster and Delaney the Somme Twining.
For now, let's begin with what is
and forever will be topic of the show.
It is December 4th.
We like at the beginning of every month
to go through every video game coming
out for the month we're going into.
We usually try to do it on that first
or before the month ends,
but there's been so many reviews we're here on the
fourth to get into it and stuff like that.
Because you might think it's a quiet month.
It's not a quiet month. There's a lot of things
happening if you didn't know, Andy.
I mean, I'll be honest with you. When I was making
this thumbnail last night, I was like, pretty quiet
month.
That's not a whole lot going on. What are you talking about?
Some of the stuff's already out, but I want
to cover it for the full picture of the
one the only December. So we'll start, of course,
with Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
Worth pointing out, our list comes from the one,
the only Game Informer.com slash 2025,
when you want to keep up with everything.
Of course, cosmic invasion is out on everything.
It came out December 1st.
A cosmic battle awaits.
Choose between 15 Marvel superheroes and this ferenic.
No.
Phrenetic.
Phrenetic, thank you.
Action beat him up to fight against the deadly...
No, I know the word.
I just fucked it up.
A definition check out this.
Annihilation wave threatening the galaxy from New York City
to the depths of the negative zone,
the future of the Marvel universe
will be fought for
fought for across the stars.
Andy, you're missing out.
That's so good.
This is Red Bulls.
Don't temp the boy.
Don't temp the boy.
Start changing your timing.
I'm uptight about this.
I'll kill you, he said.
It's unbelievable.
Listen, we all had our violence training.
We know that was a joke.
We don't got to report that to anybody.
We don't got to report that to anybody.
It took two weeks.
I'll be getting an email.
That's exactly what they said not to say.
The horrible.
Cosmic Invasion review has already gone up, of course, on Gamescast.
I gave it a 7. Tim gave it a 7.5.
Where are we as a panel with excitement, desire to play this?
Mike, kick me off.
Yeah, I'm actually excited for this.
This will be a one and done for me.
I'm going to play through this campaign, maybe with Kevin A.SX and the boys.
Oh, it was a reward for putting in the soundboard.
Yeah, thank you for the soundboard.
He did subscribe, by the way, a little while ago, Kevin A.
For 105 months.
Thank you for your support.
And I let the message that was a,
one-man job he could have done it
but I'm super excited for this game Greg we already
got to stream a little part of it earlier
this week altogether so that was a lot of fun
but for my own stuff I'm gonna play
through this I like a good streets
of rage I like a fun
and a titan into turtle and so
yeah for me with all of the characters in the Marvel
universe what we played already
it's beautiful it's fun I'm excited for it
it will be a let's smash this campaign
I'm good
Who's going to be your main?
Who's my main?
Iceman with them cheeks and then a follow-up.
Silver Surfer.
Iceers isn't even in the game.
Yeah.
They're both icy.
It's cold in space, you know.
And then Gene Gray.
Gene Gray is quite awesome.
And one of my favorites in there.
Bless Andy, anything for you?
I just don't really think I have a whole lot of time.
And I enjoy what I played.
I feel like I would enjoy it a lot more without the four-player chaos.
I think it was like a little too much.
I think maybe two players is possibly the sweet spot.
But I mean, it's just, there's just so much going on.
There is a lot going.
These aren't really just Elden Ring.
These aren't single player games for me.
You know what I mean?
These are games that I had to have somebody with me playing locally.
So does that speak to you when you think of like going up and spending time with like your nephews?
See, yes.
But I don't have that plan.
Anytime soon.
Yeah, I just got back from things.
I mean hanging out of them.
They only gave me one seat here.
They ain't paid me enough to come up there.
They got me once.
So, yeah, if it was a Christmas thing, for sure,
this would be a really fun one to bust out actually.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't have as much fun playing beat-em-ups by myself, sadly.
Understandably.
As I said, seven, I had a good time with it.
Me and Ben really enjoyed playing it.
But yeah, I was the one and done, Mike.
Finish the story, and I'm like, cool, there's not enough here.
I'm hopeful for DLC characters, DLC stage is something like that.
And I could also see it being in the same way,
when Ben has his friends in the neighborhood over,
they've been jumping in Dultment Alliance.
I could see this being way more approachable for them to jump in.
Oh, yeah.
That is a special moment.
Oh, wow.
None of the other kids.
The other kids next door, they don't know to play video games.
They don't know what they're doing.
They can play Mario card.
They can't play Ultimate Alliance.
Oh, I was wondering if they were one of those like,
our child doesn't watch television.
Our child doesn't eat McDonald.
I'm sure there's going to be a lot of those kids,
and I will chill out.
Change them all.
We'll change that.
December 2nd also saw the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows on Switch 2.
Did anyone hear any, have there been reviews of this?
Does it run well on Switch 2?
I was hearing very positive things from the most recent Digital Foundry podcast talking about
like visual quality and just how good Ubisoft has been on the tech side of things.
So it seems like, wow, they were able to actually pull off this kind of visual Titan to,
you know, run really, really well and look good on Switch 2.
I think it's like, I'm not saying like 60 frames per second, the highest thing ever, but it's similar
to the cyberpunk situation.
Yeah, JG down there says 30 frames, but it looks solid.
Yeah, cyberpunk as well.
well 60 or 30 frames for cyrpunk i think on certain modes maybe but has a really good image quality
okay i know we're going to talk about it on another podcast but like when we look back on the year
should i jump into assassins creed shadows if i have a little bit of time it's one that like it came
i did the opening and then i i never went back to it's like i love assassins creed but like should
i should i give this one some time i think that's your yote like i think oh you ever play yote play yote
dude come on yeah i don't know that's a little bit of time kind of game also yeah i mean i know
both are going to be big, but like, yeah, it's like,
start jumping the shadows?
So I love the chat from Swagorilla who says,
Our child doesn't consume calories before 1 p.m.
He hung you out to dry on.
I don't know if you saw this because it hasn't made any headlines,
but on December 2nd, a game called Horses came out.
Ah.
Welcome to the farm where the sun is hot, the grass is green,
and the horses are waiting for you.
But as the sun sets, the shadows creep across the land,
the tranquility fades,
and this farm's facade begins to crumb.
In this enigmatic first-person adventure, you'll take on the role of a summer worker taking a break from his college studies.
You will be responsible for taking care of the farm and its animals for a fortnight.
Each day you explore the farm, you encounter many surprises peeling back the layers of this farm's unsettling mysteries.
Got it by the cryptic rules of a mysterious farmer, you'll decide whether to tread the safe path or allow curiosity to lead you into the farm's hidden depths.
Choose wisely, for some truths are far more terrifying than the lies we cling to.
Of course, I say no one's heard of this.
This is the game that is banned currently from Epic Game Store and from Steam.
It was banned for a second from Humble Bundle, but then reinstated on Humble.
I have finished it.
Round of applause.
Wow.
When somebody says...
When did you play it?
Yesterday.
I played at my desk yesterday.
Only Nick walked by and he said, what the fuck are you playing?
Does that work?
Yeah, I heard this game has everything in it.
Sex, nudity, murder, more sex, mystery.
A lot more nudity.
sensual sex as well.
It's, I think,
well, well, well overblown
on what's going on here.
If you haven't followed it, it would seem,
and I'm going to not spoil this for the game.
I mean, if you're watching the trailer at this point,
you probably know a little bit about it.
If you don't, the hook here is that, yeah,
you go to, it's a horror game.
You started working on this guy's farm for two weeks,
and his horses are people who have horse masks
on their head that are chained around their neck
and they're naked from the neck down then.
I guess totally naked, but they have a horse mask.
on. And so, yeah, you go through
and kind of uncover what the fuck is going on
here and what's going to happen with it.
The banning
seems to be. It seems to
be the money on the ban.
Comes from an earlier build that was submitted
to Steam, where there's a section
of the game that I've played, but is not,
they've changed it since the ban, where
a grown woman and her
father show up and they want
to buy a horse. And so you have to give
them a pony ride, basically.
And so the grown woman gets on the horse and you
walk around, she talks to you and she basically
kind of threatens you or whatever. But it's like, the whole thing is supposed
to be on something weird. I guess in the initial
draft submitted, it was a child
that came with her father
and then got, there was nothing sexual about the scene
except that obviously the horse person was naked.
But a person, that seems
to be what triggered steam back
in the day to which when we got here,
they just denied it, which then had a chilling
effect where Epic Game Store was like, well, we're going to
deny it too. And it's been kind of chaos as
it. But if somebody who's, it's a two hour long
experience, five bucks, I bought it on Humble,
on the Humble Game Store.
As you are watching right now,
it's goofy.
Like, it's like,
look at the way they move and look
and they're animated and stuff.
You wouldn't know it by just going through this, right?
It looks like an adult swim,
like a little bumper ads
in between shows.
Exactly.
It's black and white.
It's four by three.
It's also,
this is going to sound weird,
but it's silent for the most part.
There is music track.
There are a few sound effects,
but when someone talks to you,
it's their goofy face in the frame
and then you go to like a towel,
words on the screen with it captioned underneath.
So it's kind of like a black and white
Italian film, horror film, or whatever.
It's got a vibe to it. It's got a thing to it.
I want to give a full review on Gregway tomorrow, probably.
But like, it's not, there's way worse
stuff I've seen on Steam when I was making fun
of Steam players before I became one.
You know, of course, where I'd go and I'd look for the erotic things
and see here, let's fuck Hitler game.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, whatever.
But it's out there right now. It'll be interesting to see as it
continues to evolve. Obviously, this has gotten a lot of
attention in the media. And you've
seen the developer come out and say like, hey, if we can't get back on these stores,
we're probably going to fold as a studio.
So is anybody else going to play horses?
I know I'm the horror game guy.
Me about it.
Like, hearing you talk about it makes it sound cool.
And like, yeah, it was interesting trying to read into, okay, what the fuck is going on
about this game?
Because it feels like there's been a lot of loud noise and not a lot of people just being
like, this is what it is.
It looks weird.
I like, I like how weird and this shit look.
Yeah.
It's giving me mouthwashing vibes from last year like that.
Yeah.
weird kind of out of the blue game that comes and makes a splash.
Yeah.
And I gave that one to try.
So maybe.
I watched Alana's video yesterday.
It's like,
okay,
I'm intrigued.
And then you sang two hours.
I'm like,
okay,
I might be able to fit that in.
Yeah,
yeah,
yeah,
yeah.
Andy,
he like horses.
I mean,
there's nothing better than like having a starter,
Mike,
who's going to go out there and get you seven to eight good
innings pitch.
Yeah.
Like,
we love having a horse out there going to go,
you know,
you know, pitch for our squad.
Hunter Pence is coming by it later.
Frank,
did you play mouthwash or baseball.
I never did.
I got it.
I own it.
I never actually did it.
I bet I would.
No,
everything.
It was just how hectic that was.
Was that last year?
That was the end of last year.
Right at the bus type of five.
Because there were a second I was like,
do I need to put it in my game of the year?
Like,
bots because I played that game.
I love that game.
But I guess.
I want to keep it in your back pocket because it was very end of the year.
Wow.
Let's talk about Kingdom of Night.
This came out December 2nd as well.
Hunt down nightmarish demons and save the town of Miami
Arizona in this 80s-themed
isometric action RPG
with an expansive interconnected map
and open-ended quests.
Explore freely while unraveling the main
story. Kingdom of Night is a unique blend
of coming-of-age, drama, cosmic horror,
and true love. I had not
heard about this until I just read it.
And that sounds very out my alley.
That sounds cool. This sounds totally your
shit. This sounds very much my shit.
As we watch it right now,
oh, oh.
Very adventure game looking.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I wonder how it feels and plays, but yeah.
Oh, okay.
We're seeing combat.
We're seeing some pin points.
Oh, and then you party.
Oh, there's a terror dog from Ghostbusters.
That's a copyrighted phrase, but I'll take it.
That's exactly what it looked like.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know what?
You just sold me.
All right.
I'm going to say more impressive than I thought it would be.
What's the name again?
Kingdom of Night.
Kingdom of Night.
Night spelled like nighttime, not like night,
not like Knight who rides on a horse.
That's the previous game that we talked about.
20 bucks on Steam right now.
Friends of San.
safety are the developers.
And I like that quite a bit.
I'm in on that one.
Cool.
All right, great.
Then a little game no one's heard of.
Red Dead Red Dead Redemption.
Of course, Red Dead Red Dead Redemption's been out your entire life, many of you listeners.
But PlayStation 5 Xbox series switched to iOS and Android December 2nd as well.
Experience the story of former outlaw John Marston as he tracks down the last remaining members of the notorious Van der Lund gang.
Who is in charge of that gang, Andy?
That would be Dutch.
You learned that.
I'm John Morrison.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're all going to find me gone.
Red Dead Red Dead Redemption.
Still happening.
Good job.
All right, cool.
Is anybody going back for this?
Have we all had our fill of the original Red Dead?
Yeah, I've had my fill.
It's something I'd like to just hop into, just for the nostalgia's sake of it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, I loved it when I played it back.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, my God.
Red Dead was so much fun.
Yeah.
Undead nightmare.
I played it in 2015 and never played it again.
Yeah.
So, like, I would love to see what's up.
Okay.
Well, or whenever it came out, when it, no, did it come out in 2015?
No, 2013.
Red Dead One?
Or Red Dead Redemption?
Yeah.
I was in Los Angeles.
I was Damon Hatfield.
I was in my room.
It was 2010.
We went to a Best Buy and bought it because that was when IGE didn't get games.
So you got a reviewer, we get a code, maybe somebody, or not a code, a copy.
I put myself in the wrong era of like living in Austin.
Sure, sure, sure.
That's all I got.
All right.
Let's talk about Simogo Legacy Collection.
This is Switch to Switch and PC December 2nd as well.
from cute arcade novelties to innovative text-based thrillers
and acclaimed fourth wall breaking stories,
Somogo Legacy Collection is an eclectic celebration of Samogo's past,
featuring faithful renditions of seven games released on mobile platforms
between 2010 and 2015.
There's a big world out there.
Can you believe that this is definitely one of those alternate universes I got blinked into?
The Somogal Legacy Collect, yeah.
Okay.
To celebrate our past?
Like, what?
What's your president?
Who the fuck are you?
Those games look kind of nice
That's somebody's rare
Good art style
Yeah those games look kind of cool
Those are really good art style
Is it but it's releasing
I wonder is this already out on mobile
Yeah it sounds like it
Okay I was gonna say
But individually now they're bundling them together
To put them on switch and PC
All them together put them on my phone
Cause I'll play it all those
Go into your phone right now
Go to the app store and put in Smogo
and find out how many other games they got
Sneak bandit year walk
It's fucking show
Oh device 6 I remember that being a big deal
Is out taking the Twitch chat says
Play Yearwalk
my god.
Okay.
All right, still fuck out.
My God.
We'll see if anybody
will play,
Let it die Inferno.
PlayStation 5 and PC
out on December 3rd.
Hellgate Tor opened the earth
deep within its chaotic depths
where time and space warp
lies.
The Eye of the Reaper,
a treasure granting
world ruling power.
You are an immortal
raider granting
world ruling power.
This is, of course,
one that you had been interested in.
Yeah.
And then, of course,
it turned out it was all AI garbage.
everybody flipped out.
Yeah, I really like the original Let It Die that came out, oh, 20, it was like December of 2017, I want to say.
Somebody check me on that.
I feel like I might have nailed it.
And really dug it as kind of a very specific, obscure, free-to-play.
If you know, Suda 5-1 games, right, kind of has that attitude because it's a grasshopper manufacturer series.
Soulslike-ish gameplay with a run-based sort of thing going on to it in the video staff.
Mike is struggling to Google
Mike keeps
Typing it shit
and it's just more videos
And he types in
Let it die
Launch Day more videos
Let it die
Inferno launch day
More videos
I'm like
You're in the videos damn
You have to go to all
Everybody else me
Death Metal Dan Art
And Chad says
I've never heard someone
To say Suda 51
I always used to say
Sue to 51
But then I got corrected
Apparently it is
Suit of 51
is how you say
Oh
I don't do that either.
Yeah.
But anyway, really like the original Let It Die.
Me and Shuhay Yoshido were both fans.
They then put out a Let It Die multiplayer arena game a few years ago that came out and went,
or came and went.
Let It Die Inferno is sort of the follow-up to Let It Die.
If you remember earlier in the year, I played Lost Soul Aside for about an hour,
and I talked about and people were really upset.
I played about five minutes of this and I didn't like it.
But I played five minutes, I was like, I'm good.
I don't want to do this.
Do you experience any of the multiplayer?
aspects of it? Were you fighting other people?
No. This isn't PVP?
I was hoping it was at arena style one.
I didn't get far enough to even care. Yeah, like
I got far enough to mess around with the controls and the tutorial and I was just like, I just
don't like how this feels or looks. Like nothing about this is doing it for me.
And honestly, the biggest turnoff already going in was the AI stuff.
Yeah. And I was like, I don't, I already don't really want to play this game,
mess around with it and went, I got better things to play. I don't really want to do this.
It's sitting at 210 user reviews on Steam, all mostly negative right there.
turn this on once similar to Bless.
Yeah.
Just to see what the hell is going on.
So I'll turn it on once.
Okay.
It is really weird.
Like, it is like, if you're looking for some weird shit, it has all of it, but it has all
that, but a lot of the weird shit, I'm like, is that AI weird shit or did a human
put this together?
Like, you'll see like a monster with like fucking mouths in weird places.
And I'm like, this.
Once you taint the waters, you never know.
Yeah.
It's like, I just don't know what I'm looking at anymore.
So there is.
Okay.
Good enough.
From there, we move on to.
this is actually just customer
or not customer service, I guess customer service.
I was going to say public service.
Lonely Mountain Snow riders was supposed to come out
on December 3rd. It has been delayed. I've gotten a
press release about this. Now it is just soon.
But that makes it sound like
very, very soon. I think you'll get it before the end of the year, but it's
missing its date here. We're pushing for cert.
Unfortunately, yeah. This game is already out.
You can play it on other platforms. It is a ton of fun.
PlayStation 5, yeah. It's the follow up
to, of course, Lonely Mountain downhill.
with the downhill mountain biking.
But this time, now you can add a bunch of friends into a lobby and all race together,
do cool tricks.
But this is a lot of fun.
This is a hidden gem right here.
Oh, really?
Hidden gem.
Yeah, this is a gem.
Janet Garcia likes this game a lot as well.
Okay.
Keep your eyes peel.
This is one of them just hang out, not friend slop, but like a hang slop?
I mean, you are.
Eastlop.
You are competitive.
Oh, hand beasts.
Hang beasts.
Oh, yeah.
No, this is better than hang beasts.
Okay.
The hang beasts.
Then, when we made fun of a long, long, long ago,
Popucom comes to switch December 3rd.
Popucom is a multiplayer co-op platform adventure game.
As an adventure, you are summoned to an unknown planet
to embark on an exoplanet adventure with your friends.
You will face various enemies and use engaging items and techniques
to eliminate threats and restore the world to its former glory.
I bought this shit on Steam that day that we saw it.
Did you? In that direct.
Did you play it on?
No, I never, but never, you hate to see it.
But it looks so, like, fascinating and, like, what a simple concept that could likely work really, really well.
It just seems super sick.
For audio listeners, you have, you know, these different colored blobs, and you have guns that shoot different types of colored ammo, and it has to, like, you know, you have to kind of match up all the colors with each other in order to progress to the level.
in a very like almost it takes two type of way
or split fiction
but yeah it just seems like
kind of a like how has this not been done
a whole lot before it takes split tune
it's almost like it reminds you of death squared as well
yeah yeah 100% of that kind of puzzle solving
it would be perfect for like a fun Friday stream
yeah if we got four 14 grotes together just to play it for an hour or two
put on the list Mike
well as bless always just screams into every show he's on
you're put dreams on the list
saw that banjo Cazooie I thought of you
I thought of you
I told you I told you wasn't watching the show
calling for you on the show
I'm like he ain't watching this you're calling for something super
Superman ain't told me you watch the show
yeah he lives I have my phone on
Tim hates it but I have my phone
why did you come in when we said called you then
yeah you didn't come in right I might have been talking to
Charlie yeah you're talking about the Red Bull
Viewfinder comes to switch
December 3rd a mind bending first person
adventure game challenge perception
redefine reality and shape the world
around your instant camera
Of course, when we did PSI Love You XOXO, XO, this one had come to PlayStation.
I played it there.
You played it as well.
Enjoyable, but wasn't like world on fire.
But it was cool.
Like, if you're watching the trailer, it's exactly what it looks like, which is really, really cool.
I think I wanted more from some of the puzzle solving and more from like what they're doing with the world and all that stuff.
But it is worth checking out and worth playing.
Now you can on Switch December.
What's out now?
Up next, blood refreshed supply, PlayStation 5, Xbox.
playlist for Xbox 1 PC,
Switch, you name it,
December 4th.
Today, things are about to get
bloody.
Soak up 42 pulse-pounding levels
dripping with Lovecraftian atmosphere
as you battle your way
through armies of sycophant cultists,
zombies, gargoyles,
hellhounds,
and other insatiable horrors
in your quest to defeat
the loathsome trickton bog.
And it looks like doom.
Is this what we call boomer shooters?
Yeah, yeah,
the boomer shooter.
What do you fall on the boomer shooter, Andy?
Because I see this,
I'm like, that's an Andy game,
but then I'm also like, I don't think he plays boomer shooters.
No, I don't really.
And a lot of it is I just, I don't necessarily love the 3D games with the 2D card,
billboard look of everything being like just a flat image.
There's a lot of like 3D models it looks like in here, but I don't know.
It's never quite been my vibe.
I played the old dooms back in the day.
And I prefer more of, I guess, when I think of something like,
Metal Hellsinger, which...
Sure.
It just feels like I'm getting a bit more
like accuracy as opposed to just
kind of like, let me just spray this gun all over.
You don't see that this game has eight-player split screen?
They just said that in the trailer.
That's kind of late.
You got to have a big TV for that.
It's not even possible.
You know these wide-screen TVs now?
You split it in half once.
How wide is that screen?
Forward up there. You're all set. You're all ready to go.
You're going to have some fun time.
From there, we roll into Cloudheim,
early access on PC today as well.
Ragnarock shattered the world.
then the gods have chosen you to reshape the next one.
Cloudheim is a one to four player action adventure that blends crafting with chaotic physics-based combat,
awaken forgotten deities, drive back corruption, and upgrade your shop in the sky to bring harmony to a broken realm.
Michael, I saw this today, Greg.
I was actually on Steam looking around and I said, man, is this a Mike and Andy game?
It sounds like this is.
A little survival crafting type look with it.
You know, there's been so many.
I still want to go back to that Sky one that we played, Lost in the Sky.
Oh, Lost Skies.
Lost Guys is awesome.
But this one right here had kind of a vibe where I was like, oh, man, we might have to give
this a try.
Yeah, the production levels and just the way all of the combat looks.
Like, there's kind of an easy giveaway of the quality of a game and how much you're
going to enjoy it is like, do the characters move in a nice way?
Or do they look kind of janky when they walk?
You know, like, so far, everything I'm seeing here looks very, very high quality.
It reminds me a spellbreak a little bit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Dude, bring back spellbreak as a single player RPG, dude.
Oh, I can see that.
That would be a big rework.
Fuck.
Yeah, there would be a lot of work, but, yeah.
But again, this is the conversation I was talking about.
If you have rich families, give the money to me.
Yeah.
And then I'll say, I'm going to build a team and you're going to make a, hey, the team who worked on spellwork,
because they laid off the whole team.
They laid off everybody.
Yeah, yeah.
I'll fucking tell, hey, JJ Abrams, get in there, whoever the fuck.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, let's make a single player.
subscribing series A funding, my life.
I love this.
It's so cool, man.
If you have money, give it to me.
Give it to me.
I'll bring a lot of the people together.
Yeah.
We'll make a game.
I'm not going to use it for a nefarious purpose.
No, no, no.
I'm going to make games.
We're going to make games.
Hey, you 13 people, here's, you know, all those, use all this money.
How much money are you going to give them?
Yeah.
I don't know, man.
How much money do you think?
I mean, they're going to have to crunch a lot.
And on that note, I'll remind you that this is kind of.
That this is kind of.

Andy called out something interesting.
Game Informers list doesn't include D-L-C's and updates,
and that's why upcoming up for Pokemon,
I had personally added in because I was excited for it.
And then you called out that, of course,
that, me and Mike, of course, forgot to call it
skate season two, big deal out there.
But then, of course, Andy, you called out the Eldon Ring
Night Ring before he is Forsakened
Hollows, man. I just felt a sleep in the middle.
My mouth was like, nope, we're not going to say it.
Talk to me about this, Andy.
Foraken Hollows came out today
officially. Yesterday it was like, you know,
kind of this weird, staggered worldwide release
where it came out on PC at 3 p.m. West Coast,
but 8 p.m. on console
West Coast and like, you know,
the rest of the world kind of got it around the same time.
But the Forsaken Hollows is the first D.L.C. Pack for the Eldering Night Rain multiplayer game.
It is 15 bucks. You get two new nightfarers, which are awesome as hell so far.
That so far what we've played, there is a brand new kind of shifting earth, which is kind of the way that they've add variables to what the environment is that you'll be fighting in.
they added a bunch of new mini bosses while you are on your adventure and then they added two
big ass bosses that are like the main ass ones that you're going after so we see here in the trailer
there's a uh the dancing lion from shadow of the urd tree which was not in the the prior version
and that's going to be in this in this version now um we see artorius right there we see all sorts
of cool enemies that from souls games past and other elbin ring enemies that are now popping
and it's awesome so far.
It's just got me hooked again.
I just think, oh, yeah.
I want to play.
It's so good.
I did have somebody in my YouTube comments
saying like, wait,
I thought Night Ring is D-L-Ring for Eldon Ring.
Is this D-L-C for the D-L-C?
It's like, no, no, no, I raise just a different video game.
It's a multiplayer video game.
It has nothing to do with a single-player
massive open-world campaign.
It's a roglight multiplayer.
It's one of my favorite moments, Greg,
because it's a new map as well.
Yeah.
And so you have that excitement of, like,
learning something new, finding the
strategy, finding your routes, getting completely lost, right?
There's that thrill factor when me and Andy and Bless jumped in yesterday of like,
we're in a, we're in the underground, it's a cave setting.
I have no idea where we're going.
I rely only on Andy to be the in-game leader and he's lost.
I'm lost.
We jumped in as so many holes.
Oh, yeah.
The amount of like, just like, I'm just trying to run and you just like do a leap of faith.
You're like, it's nothing below me.
Here I just fall into a chasm.
Yeah, it's just, it's, I, it's such.
a big deal to me whenever
like I
the fact that there are some people out there that were like
oh are you actually like are you going to play this or you're going to go back
to it's like we're whenever
from software is going to hit you with new bosses like that's an event
that's like that's a really big fucking deal
and so far the first one
that I fought last night
with a Melissa with a Y sorry Mike we
without me yeah what happened there why did you don't make I mean I'm not
really happy about it you know Andy said okay everybody
we got to turn off first
streams and the night. We got to go out to dinner with Kuczynka, and I proceeded to turn off
everything, run as fast as I can to dinner, and then I turned on, and he's still streaming,
still gaming without me. I thought I'd do one more run, and then we just kept on succeeding.
We just kept on doing well, and then at 720 and-
had to drop the acre. Yeah, exactly. Somebody was holding them back.
It was a good time, though. Like, I'm just so kind of, I'm so enamored of what's happening
right now. The one thing that I want to tell Mike that was fascinating, and bless as well, when
we hopped in it was like this brand new map right it's like what is this this this isn't just a
portion of the map that has changed this whole thing is completely different what's going on here
and after four failed attempts we then got the normal world again oh for the new boss yeah
for the new boss so i'm not sure that's just a shifting i don't want that thing i only want to be in
the new map don't want to they dumped your ass don't need you complaining
Okay, I need a wand.
Okay, figure it out.
Figure it out.
But I'm super pumped to just keep on playing.
That's all I want to do.
Hell yeah.
Well, thank you for making sure we said something about that.
I appreciate that.
I'm sorry that game informer hates it so much that they left it off.
Releases.com.
Not informing.
Flash hot slash game slash daily.
All right.
I'll remember that one.
Cult of the Lamb is coming to iOS today as well.
Start your own cult and land of false profits.
Venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions
to build a loyal community of Woodrow.
followers to spread the word.
I loved this game back when I
played it. It has had so many
additions to it. I'm not sure if they're all
coming to iOS. I imagine they are. But this is
a game that I enjoyed so much back then.
Every time they drop one of these new things, I'm like,
Mike, do I go back? Should I go back?
But I have to re-roll it. I have to start from scratch.
My cult saw out of date. But I loved
Coltland. I can still hear
it's such a great soundtrack.
It's kind of like the
roguide version of No Man Sky, where it's just like
wait, you look and you go, oh shit,
they've put out seven DLCs or whatever.
I think they're like at four or five,
but it's like,
yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
It's been a surprising amount of content
coming from the studio.
So, like, I'm really impressed with their output.
I guess surprised by the amount of Colts of the Lamb fans I meet out in the wild.
Yeah.
Like, even I was just out of Friendsgiving and I met like, like, a couple people that I
had never met before, right?
And they're a couple.
And I was like, oh, you guys playing any games?
Like, not really.
We play Colts of the Lamb, though.
And I'm like, oh, really.
Random.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Talk about that more.
And they're like, oh, yeah, you know, I do the combat.
They do the world building or whatever.
That's fun.
That's cool.
I like that.
More people will be doing iOS today, I guess.
Of course, then, the game that needs no introduction,
Metroid Prime 4, Beyond out on Switch and Switch 2 today.
Sammis is back and just fucking shit up.
Have any of, so did anybody start it yet here?
Well, he went to an event.
I play the event.
Yeah, but I mean, like last night, I know a lot of people at like 9 o'clock we're on.
And you're playing it today.
I started it today.
And I'm sure me and blessed will find some time.
Yeah, I want to start playing it.
It's probably my next priority.
I've seen a lot of mixed things, though.
I've seen a lot of like polarizing stuff, but enough to where I know that the positives
will severely outweigh the negatives that I may feel about it.
It's just based on everything that I've heard about how the game is doing discovery and
investigation and just and puzzle design and like those moments, those little light bulb moments
you go, oh shit, that's what you, like that's what I love about.
like my current adventure right now with Metroid Prime Remastered.
And so, yeah, I feel like I'm going to really vibe with it.
Yeah, I think right now I have the buy-in of somebody who just really, really enjoyed
Metroid Prime Remastered and wants to have more of that experience.
But like, I feel like there are games that I'm, I'll play for a game of the year.
And I'm like, I want to see if I want to play this to if it's going to be on the list.
And based on what people are saying online, I'm like, I don't know if it's going to be a top
five or I hope it is for me.
Yeah.
Yeah, for me, it's not a Metroid person.
The headlines, as I said on the review, right, calling.
it or making so many comparisons to Akron of time.
That gets me like, oh, okay, okay.
So I'm excited to do this hour and see if it sticks and if it'll be my weekend as I build
up to the Pokemon D.LC, which we'll talk to about soon.
But right now we're going to move on to Octopath Traveler Zero.
Also out today.
I reviewed it yesterday.
I gave it a 9 out of 10 and declared it is my game of the year right now.
I hope everyone who is at all interested in a turn-based RPG with a really fun story
character, a bunch of goofy-ass shit happening in there gets into it because I just adore
this game. And Andy, I know
you played 20-some hours of it. You were on the
review as well. Mike
Blessing, are you at all
interested in Octopath Traveler Zero?
It's just too big of a game.
Yeah. Yeah. I... It's too much happening.
The review yesterday was at 70 hours
and I still have more to go.
Yeah. I will say, though, I forget
what game we were playing. It was only in night rain, actually.
We were playing the new area
and music kicked in. That kind of gave me
the feeling of like, man, I feel like
I'm playing an epic GRP. Sure, sure.
They kind of had that tone to it.
And so it gave me a little bit of the appetite,
but not right now.
The song during the new boss fighting,
I know there.
Yeah, it's like that.
They're going on.
Oh, shit.
Yeah, Greg, it's been an interesting journey with Octopath,
because I liked Octopath 1.
I liked the demo so much that I did buy the game
and jumped into a fair amount of it,
but never continued on.
And then Octopath 2 came,
and I thought I would be into it and I never turned it on.
I'm on a big kind of turn-based RPG kick right now.
This is definitely in my pocket.
You saying it's your game of the year.
Andy liking it as well.
Like, it's high on my list right here for sure.
Okay.
You have a lot of voice acting.
Yes, they do.
It's all voice acting.
Oh, that's a win for me.
Then I like that.
From there, we move on to Power Wash Simulator also coming to iOS today.
It's Power Wash Simulator.
You know, a game that I've not been shocked, I guess.
But yeah, shocked probably over the years the way it has found a fan base
and how many people are addicted to this.
I remember when Gary Widow was obsessed with it.
Now, of course, Joey's always been obsessed with it.
Good on them for making it to iOS to get into a brand new audience.
Power Watch Simulator 2.
Best Chill game of the year.
Damn.
Wow. Wow.
Best Chillax game to the year.
Are you, are you planning, like, what's your history with Power Watch Simulator?
Because I feel like that's maybe where your simulation fascination started.
This might be the kickoff.
Yeah.
It's right when you bring that up, Andy.
This might be the turn on to the moment of like,
I like all these simulations.
simulator games.
Yeah, I mean,
number two's got the co-op factor
with you and your friends now,
which is the big push.
They got some fun features to it.
But like,
nothing better than just hanging out
with your friend,
maybe turning on some one piece
in the background and just zoning out to this.
There's a,
I'm a 50-50.
You know me.
I like to get things done.
I like to keep it moving.
And this is more of like,
you got to chill.
You got to get every nook and cranny.
And I'm more like,
let's get this thing over with going on to the next.
Yeah.
That's a push and pull for me.
An interesting one routine
comes to Xbox and PC
December 4th. That's today. Routine is a first
person sci-fi horror set on an abandoned
lunar base designed around an 80s vision
of the future. Explore and investigate
your surroundings as you survive
against unknown threats. I forget
it might have been that partner showcase that
this one dropped this trailer at
and I was intrigued enough to ask for a
code. I have it. I just have not had the time
with Octopath and everything else to jump in and give
it a case. Is this the VHS one that I thought
like kind of outlasty vibes?
Yeah, lots of VHS tech. This has
all the, like, the super, kind of like retro throwback
sci-fi stuff happening with it, but it's, it's, you know, I don't really
fuck it's scary games, but it looks, I just love the tech that they're using. I love
the, the art direction, and just the whole vibe of it seems totally up my alley.
Do we know where reviews went on this? I thought I saw a tweet that was like,
there was like, nine's and then there was a bunch of sixes. Yeah, I think it was like kind of
mixed in the middle here. Yeah, it's sitting at a 78. Okay.
There you go. On open,
critic. Not bad for a horror game.
I'm going to put it as a hard maybe.
I like playing a good horror game for sure.
From there today as well, Sonic Racing Cross Worlds comes to Switch 2 finally.
So there you go. We were fans of that one here. We did enjoy that one.
Then Thief VR, Legacy of Shadow, comes to PlayStation VR2, Quest and PC today.
Step into the Shadows in Thief VR. You are Magpie, a cunning thief orphaned by Baron Northcrest and shaped by the streets.
use VR mechanics to steal evade and outspart the city's forces.
Your goal are a relic Northcrest Vault,
which uncovers a far greater artifact with a powerful legacy.
Good for you.
You got to borrow Greg's PSVR, Mike.
This feels like something you'd fuck with.
Like the way you fucked with Hitman.
There's a piece of me that, let's just say this.
I'm going to play Half Life Alex here very soon.
And that should be the kickoff of like,
should I try some more VR games?
I'll put this on the list for sure.
Ghostbusters Rise of the Ghost Lord. I'll see you there.
Gober saves the universe.
Well, not anymore.
Okay.
It is, I like that.
What's that, uh, what's that pill you take to stop motion?
Buy a red pill.
Oh.
Oh. Dramamine, dramamine.
Drama mean.
Nice.
So I, I, I want to give that a shot.
I have three bottles in my backpack right now.
Jesus Christ.
Because I always buy.
What the fuck, me?
The little travel ones.
I want to give it a shot.
I have three people.
Why did you buy three?
Why did you buy two more?
Why do you bring them work?
They're in my backpack.
He packs everything in his bag.
He's ready to go at any time.
I buy him at the airport.
I buy him at the airport.
And because I was, I was going to use Tim's
X real thing, right?
And it gave me motion sickness the first time,
but it was like a much older model.
And Tim was like the new one does it.
Like, you'll be a lot better off with it.
But I still took the jam with me just the case,
but I still have like three extra bottles in my back back.
And because you guys want some either as well.
They're anti-Drazi, so they don't make you go to...
Tomorrow, Nick Toons and the Dice of Destiny comes to switch to.
This is one that has been out for a while on the other platforms.
I want to play it, and Ben doesn't want to play it.
You know how I love Diablo?
It's an action RPG of Diablo, but it's got Leonardo and SpongeBob and yada, yada.
And I'm always like, Ben, you want to do it?
He's like, no pizza night.
Like, hey, fuck, I'm in charge.
I love punishing them.
Yeah.
What about Minecraft Dungeons?
Do you ever try that with him?
I haven't tried that with Joey, so I really know that.
There's no benefit from me going back to...
You know what I mean?
Like this like
Trophy
and I could have something
fun of this one.
Look at Timmy, man.
It's cute.
I wish I could have played this game
as a kid.
This is cute as shit.
Come over and play
with me and Ben.
Maybe Fungle Bless come.
Oh,
they got the avatar lady.
Oh, man.
They put this out in the wrong year.
They should have put this out
in 2000.
Susie from Rugrats?
It's Jimmy Neutron.
They got fucking Jenny
the teenage robot.
I'm telling you this is this shit, man.
Oh, that's crazy.
Wait, Timmy Neutron?
No.
Jimmy Neutron.
Timmy Turner.
Timmy's turn.
Tin to me.
Oh, the crimson chin.
Leonardo! It's awesome.
I want to play it.
What the fuck?
Mike, put it on the streaming calendar.
Does Nicolio not make new cartoons?
Why do they have all the classics in here?
You got to go back to the classic.
Wow.
December 6th, the rhythm doctor comes to Xbox and PC.
Save patience with your rhythm mastery.
Rhythm Doctor is a rhythm game where you heal patients by defibrillating
defibrillating them in time to their heartbeats.
Learn each patient's unique heartbeat and defeat boss viruses

soothing music.
This sounds
cool.
Sounds like a very,
very cool idea,
right?
Yeah,
almost elite
beat agents or
whatever.
But yeah,
or trauma team.
No,
what am I,
trauma team?
The DS game
where I used to play
as a doctor?
What is that?
Trauma team?
Trauma team?
Trauma center?
I was too busy
getting bitches.
You know what I'm saying?
You never even met a bitch.
I was like 10.
I don't think I was doing this.
Angeline Erez
our next game.
December 8th.
Every level of,
every level is.
hidden in plain sight in this non-linear 3D action adventure game.
Travel a vast country's unmarked overworld
in search of the next challenging fight,
humorous encounter, or mysterious landscape.
You decide what's the start cloud, bro.
Do you know what's, first of all?
Actually, I could see a little bit.
Don't say that.
It's crazy because I didn't grow up with a PS1,
but I love a PS1 art style.
I don't know what it is.
Yeah.
Something about what they were doing on that platform.
I don't think you're wrong, yeah.
I just want every game to look like brave.
The body shapes are.
Yes, yes.
Body shapes are so cute, man.
Then hell freezes over on December 8th,
and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 comes to PlayStation 5, Mike.
Yo, I love Microsoft Flight Sim.
There's something that awoken inside of me
and I just can't get enough of it.
One day I'll...
Well, you got your PPL.
Privates license, right?
My PPL.
Yeah, I love...
PPLJUZM, I hope that more people want to jump into it.
It is a fantastic, incredible game.
How they leverage the class.
and AI and build into this gigantic world
that you're just flying in all the time.
It's the coolest.
And all the updates that they have by the time
that you'll play this is really, really dope.
From the new missions, new planes,
of course, all of the different regions
have been updated to look better
when you come down closer to the ground.
It will always not look perfect.
Yeah, yeah.
I've come to accept that.
But, like, it is crazy to fly over, like, Lake Tahoe
and be like, that's my house right there.
You know what I mean?
When you get out of the place,
plane.
Yeah.
What are you doing?
You can take photos of giraffes.
Oh.
Yeah.
They're everywhere?
They've been let loose out of the zoo.
No, they have some fun photography missions in this now because 20204 was all about like doing
more things than just landing and take off.
So yeah, they have like photography in this way.
You will fly over certain areas.
Land the plane.
Go take a photo of something.
Get back in the plane and take off.
I saw a guy on TikTok make a video about a little.
island that like it's one of those it's like in the indigenous people there sure are like it's like
it's illegal to even go there you know what i mean like do not like do not fuck with these people but like
they drop the game they went there in the microsoft flight simulator and like had the guy walk
around and like that's kind of wow there's some dark secrets not kidding there was nothing there
but it was just like it was just like a fascinating ticot man i'll watch anything i'm gonna go
i'm gonna go fly over the phoenix festival happening on saturday oh shit who's playing billy mcfarlane
Skate story comes to PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC on December 8th.
Ollie, kick-flip and grind your way through the ash and smoke of the underworld as you take on a seemingly impossible quest.
Skate fast to destroy demons and save other tortured souls on your journey from fragile beginner to hardened, hardened skater.
Where are we at with this, everybody?
I had this on my fantasy critic a few years in a row.
I can't believe it's actually coming out.
It's actually coming out.
It's actually coming out. Pretty cool.
It's one I want to try out
It's never one that I feel like was gonna fuck with me
But there's just something about it that I feel
Well there's a lot about it right
You can't look at this and be like yeah
No shit there's something about it
There's a lot visually going on with it
And I really hope that
It kind of hits on like
You know fucking deeper themes about
You know fucking
Stories like
Yeah
I've been very much looking forward to this one
I think the demo had unsold me
little bit and it's the smallest tweak
of they changed how certain controls
work from like how skate does it where
when you're playing skate it's all in the right in lock stick
as far as your holly and your tricks and all that stuff.
Here it's on the face, like one of the face buttons
is a jump. I want to say either circle or a square.
Sure, sure, sure. And it's like you use your shoulder buttons
for modifiers for that. And that was enough
during the down one and make me.
No. Yeah, I was like, I don't like this.
Got it. We shall see.
December 8th also sees Yakuza's
Zero Directors cut come out to PlayStation 5
Xbox Series and PC. Obviously,
who's a well known in these parts, thanks to Roger and a million other people.
Then a game about digging a hole comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Switch to 7th.
Play this game.
Everybody's to play this game.
If you aren't familiar, a minimalist game about digging a hole in the garden of a newly purchased house.
Collect resources, sell them, upgrade your equipment, and discover a mysterious secret.
Cost you only one coffee.
This, of course, has been on PC.
Mike, tell me about it.
Yeah, these are one of those games where this is what really drove me to start playing more on Steam and PC,
is seeing these games that come out in early access.
are like these weird wacky games that just don't really make their way to console or too late over to console.
But a game about digging a hole is just so much fun because there's something that calls to every human being.
What if I call to us?
What if I keep going down down there?
I yearn for the minds.
There's something down there.
There's something in your backyard and you're going to go find it.
So I'll tell you, go play this.
You can even play with your friends as well.
Just start digging and get lost in the game.
You'll love it.
Okay.
Death Howl comes to PC December 9th.
Journey through the sorrowful spirit world
In a souls like deck builder
Craft cards and claim powerful totems
To defeat the woeful spirits lurking
In the mystical lands
Unravel the tale of a grieving mother
And her desperate attempt to defy death
And bring back her son
Bless you, ooh, right away
I mean, yeah, this game very much speaks to me
I forget when we first saw this game
But it was a Steam Next Fest
Many moons ago, I feel
I played it like probably last year
In a Seam Nex Fest
Because like just the, I mean
They said the right buzzwords for me
deck builder and souls like um and i was talking to andy about this i think yesterday where i'm
like oh yeah the game death house coming out why do they call it a souls like i'm very interested
in like what that aspect of it is and i andy had the theory of like well probably so they don't
probably so they don't make you think it's a roguelite because whenever you hear deck builder in an
indie game you automatically assume that it's a slay the spire or an inscription or something
or bellotro right like a lot of these games end up having that sort of structure to them and so
the idea of playing a game that's more of an adventure you're going from point a to point b and
you're experiencing the story of grief and sorrow and what this main character is going through.
I really like that.
I think that has a really interesting slant to it.
And it's got just one of those art styles.
It's like, oh, they know what they're doing.
This is a really good visual look.
This isn't something, you know, trying to copy a whole lot of other things.
It's just got such its own unique vibe.
Yeah.
Dome Keeper comes to Xbox December 9th.
This one has been out on PC for quite some time.
Defend against waves of alien monsters in this unique role.
rogue like action miner dig for resources collect useful gadgets and upgrade equipment
anybody ever play it no is it speaking of you i remember seeing this the way he said no
i i see we saw this on the xbox thing i believe yeah um it's it's one that like kind of got me
like ooh it looks interesting yeah yeah i kind of reacted the same way when i saw monsters
are coming oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah is awful name which is an awesome game also by the way
yeah this looks fascinating i kind of forgot this
This one was going out of your list.
Pay attention.
Farming Simulator, Signature edition comes to Switch 2 December 9th.
You know Farming Simulator.
Of course, back in 2015, I had an amazing let's play that.
I had forgotten all about until somebody came up at a show and was like, remember they were farming sim thing where you scream tech support at the end?
And I was like, I guess, yeah.
I haven't thought about that in years.
But yeah, I remember it.
So good for you if you need to play farming simulator on Switch 2.
Then Keyborg comes to switch December 9th.
Keyborg is a relentless rogue light beat him up.
where you enhance your body with new cybernetic implants each run.
You've been sent to the worst prison in the galaxy for crimes you didn't commit.
Death won't provide an escape, but a violent reality show may offer you a way out.
This is another one that's been on PC, but I had not heard of it.
And then it does sound up many of you all's Allie.
It's like, this is exactly what you want out of a, out of a double A game.
Like this looks really cool.
Yeah, yeah.
But like out of the lighting's doing some weird stuff.
Maybe that's just this.
Probably switch version I'd imagine, right?
If you go check out the PC.
There's like no shadow.
It was not a shadow to be seen, you know.
On December 9th, you can also get Locke or maybe LOK digital on Switch.
Learn a cryptic language of world-changing words and master their mind-bending effects.
Discover, learn the rules as you go and uncover how each new word has its own special ability to change the word around you in deep and surprising ways.
Expandes your vocabulary through 15 distinct worlds, each one exploring a new mechanic and completely shaking up the way you solve.
Puzzles, Puzzle, Poppy.
Oh, my God.
I don't even know how to describe what I'm looking at,
but I want to try it.
I want to play it.
I mean,
it's giving me all the feelings I feel when I'm like playing the fucking New York Times games.
It seems like a word game like that,
but obviously more full-fledged,
indie thing.
This looks cool.
Hell yeah.
I thought so too.
I thought you might like that one when that comes out.
Thank goodness you're here makes this appearance on Xbox.
Similar to when we do these and we're like,
Xbox didn't have that game.
Thank goodness you're here.
A game we got to clip that part out.
That we loved.
Hilariously funny, very British.
is finally coming to Xbox December 9th,
so grab it there if you haven't.
Fun fact, Lock Digital already out on Steam.
It's been out on Steam for about a year.
Good.
Then Unbeatable comes to PlayStation 5,
Xbox series, and PC December 9th,
Barrett Woodoff camera.
Unbeatable is a rhythm adventure
where music is illegal and you do crimes.
Follow the story of Beat and her band On the Run
in a narrative experience
full of big emotions powered by arcade flawless rhythm gameplay.
Hell yeah.
Very much looking forward to this.
Yeah, I'm excited to see how this one
is because it's
is it so intense that I can't play it
or is it like can I have a little story
in where I going through to do it? I'm going to get a little selfish
really quick. Please. This is the only game
that I've been thinking about all month long.
Whoa. All I can think
about is this video game.
Selfishly because it's all about
fantasy. It comes down
to Mike and Barrett right now.
I am like 15 points
up on Barrett's and this
game is the last game on Barrett's list
and all I can think about, I go to Ben,
I think about it.
I wake up, I go, oh, my God, when is this video game coming out?
I come into work, I look at the calendar and go, okay, what day is this game coming out?
When will I know?
Right.
And so I'm just, I can't stop thinking about this video game.
Damn, dude.
Are you worried?
Are you worried?
It's got a cool style.
Beardt's interested in it.
That means it's probably good, you know what I mean?
Like, make Barrett unbeatable.
Barrett probably listened to a podcast that said, yo, this shit is fucking.
You know what I mean?
He probably cheated again.
He cheated again.
That's what he does all the time.
I'm worried.
He's fucking out the wall.
I can't stand it.
I'm giving you the credit.
You got a good eye for video games.
He's got a great eye.
He's got a great eye for video.
That's why I'm worried about it.
Oh, here comes, Barry.
Tim and I have known about this game for four years.
Fuck you, Mike.
What podcast did Tim listen to in Mexico?
A little rocket lab comes to switch to December 10th.
You play as Morgan, an aspiring engineer.
Headed home to complete your family's dream project, a rocket ship.
Finding home, not quite how she left it.
Morgan will need to research and build clever contraptions to
get out and save the day or whatever.
It really petered out.
It keeps going. It's very long.
I was like, let's look at what we got here.
Okay, a little bit.
Like a satisfactory.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You care?
Anybody?
Anybody?
One day I'll try one of these.
I can live a different life, dude.
Yep.
Yep.
Yeah.
Totally.
I'd love to play this.
Then, of course, I don't have a date on here, but it's next week on the 13th, maybe.
Pokemon Legends, Z.A.
Mega Dimension drops.
Venture into hyperspace Lumi
Lumios for the next chapter of your adventure.
Mysterious distortions have appeared without warning in Lumio City.
They seem to be connected to a place known as hyperspace Lumios.
And the mythical Pokemon Hoopa has the power to transform them into portal so you can travel there.
I am incredibly fucking excited to go back to Pokemon, Legend, ZA.
So stoked.
I'm almost done with it.
Yeah?
I'm on, I think I just got that ring D.
Oh, very nice.
We just stopped there.
You know?
Well, I got to, I mean, the whole night ring came along.
but I got to like, you know, I will see it through because...
Are you going to do this DLC?
I probably not.
Because I'm stopping everything.
I will review this as well because I am the voice of the Pokemon fan.
Yeah, I do.
I mean, I totally agree with what a lot of you all said about Pokemon Zia just as a video game.
And Tin talking about how it's, you know, it's pretty okay for the most part.
And then you hit that moment.
And then for the rest of the game, it's like the most ridiculous, funny hype shit.
Like totally dead on.
This game is a blast so far, despite all of its shortcomings.
There have been, there's been a controversy happening on Twitter.
Which?
There's an anti-Pokemon bot agenda.
Where I thought somebody was coming into my chat to talk shit to me for buying this game.
And then another person started doing it.
And they were saying the same things.
And then we all as a chat and as a chat,
and as a community said, pause.
Let's ask this person a very pointed question
and it responded with just more kind of talking points of like
you spent $70 on this.
It's just one city.
Why would you do it?
And it's like, oh my God, these are just bots.
There's like, there are people that are like just paying to have bots
that monitor the Pokemon ZA category on Twitch
to then go in there and be like, why would you buy this?
But they start off like this, bless.
Is this game, is this just like one,
city or what? Oh my god, that's
crazy. And they do like, this kind of
like, I'm going to pretend to be coy and
curious about this. And then they're like,
wow, so you spent like that much on this?
Like, like, and then they
start kind of like harass you and they're like,
you got to be better with your money. And they start
talking shit to you. I thought it was a person, but it's like
it's just these bots out there. It's
so bizarre, man. It's so
fucking weird, dude. All bots.
Garchum. All bots.
All right.
After Pokemon on December 10,
you get Montezuma's Revenge, the 40th anniversary edition,
all the consoles,
experienced the timeless classic adventure,
now fully evolved.
The 1983 classic multi-room platformer,
Montezuma's revenge returns in 2.5D glory.
And now Pedro's adventure is bigger than ever.
Hell yeah. Glad to see this come back.
Miss this game.
We all think of a moment.
I was so ready just to keep on going.
I mean, is this, I don't know shit.
I guess this is,
yeah, did this, did this inspire Spaluncle?
Is that the whole day?
Yeah, maybe.
Or they'll be just ripping off.
Spalunky?
Which I played Splunky like a week and a half ago with my friend Zachary.
He's obsessed with Splunky.
And he was like, yo, let's play a co-op.
I'm going to take you through.
It's four levels.
I was like it's four levels.
He's like, well, it's four worlds.
But that game is pretty cool.
I don't know if I played Splunky.
Me and Nick and Andy played it once.
Almost broke me.
That game's kind of wild.
You can go to hell in that game.
You can go to hell in that game.
Do you know that?
Yeah, we went some places.
It was mainly just us exploring each other's friendships.
and realizing the mind with Nick.
How little we enjoyed each other's company.
No, I haven't played Splunky.
You should check it out.
Mutant Football League 2 comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC, December 10th.
Mutant Football 2 is a hard-hitting arcade-style football game that combines intense gameplay.
Wisecracking Mutants, weapons, deep strategy, and outrageous humor.
Mike, you're all.
I'm so pumped up on this.
I can't believe they're making a second one because somehow I found the first one on Xbox a couple years back
because I'm always in the hunt for an NFL blitz.
I miss NFL Blitz a lot.
I miss Blitz the league.
I miss the NBA streets,
the NFL streets of yesteryear, right?
We love to all those games.
And like there's something there where it's like NFL blitz in 2025 would be amazing, right?
And all of a sudden I found Super Mutant Football League and I was like,
what's going on here?
And it is so much fun.
The problem is it didn't feel great, the first one.
There's something about the turbo and the way your player runs and gets speed going
that never felt as good as NFL Blitz,
but it is over-the-top dumb.
You can be the Mile High City Chronic.
They all have fun names after NFL teams,
and I love that.
You can be different styles and genres of, you know,
mutants from zombies to werewolves to orcs, you know,
I like all that.
This game I have really high hopes for.
If this can come out and just make me smile
and have a good time, I'm in.
So I was, you mentioned a couple years back,
I remember perusing the walls of freeze frame in far Texas,
where I would go rent games from.
And I remember seeing as a kid on the wall, Super Nintendo game,
and I thought it was this, but it was Mutant League football.
That's this.
No, this is...
Football League.
Yeah, so like this, I think they maybe brought it back at one point.
You know, so was the first one a 3D game like this, Mike?
The one I played on Xbox was just, I don't know about...
Okay, got it.
I don't know.
That's interesting.
I was confused though.
Like,
oh,
this is a re-release
and it's a new game.
Yeah.
What's going on?
I think it's like
a road rage,
road rash sort of situation.
And like the big thing you see is like the environmental hazards
along the football fields.
Like on the field there will be mines.
There'll be crazy things that will just destroy your character.
So it's fun.
On December 11th,

He's not a VR guy.
And I don't give a shit.
a VR guy. Give him one of your bottles.
Give him a bottle.
Oh shit, I do have a lot of bottles.
Yeah, yeah. You know, get him in there because why not?
He'd love to play some Star Trek stuff, maybe.
Warhammer 40,000, Rogue Trader comes to switch to December 11th.
It's been on PC since 2023, of course.

Would you play a Star Trek VR game for us?
Heck yeah.
Andy's got drugs to you.
You and I all passed out the whole day because of VR.
Put a bucket in front of me.
Yeah, this guy knows.
He'll fucking know.
The coffee breath is just so experienced.
He's got like your dad's Bobby,
breath.
Code Violet comes to PlayStation 5, December 12th.
Dive into Code Violet in exhilarating
third person action horror game from Team Kill Media.
I've never heard of this game.
Cool.
Terminator 2D.
No fate.
Finally, maybe.
Finally, maybe.
Go back to Code Violet.
Whoa, he said hold up.
Hold on. He said hold up. Time out.
Hold on.
We'd love to see the visual.
Thank you, Kevin. You're killing it.
Okay.
It's got some minds eye looking shit going on.
So it's a, okay.
It kind of looks like they're, no, never mind.
I was going to say they're trying to do a metal gear, but is it like a,
I'll be honestly, when you're talking, Greg, I didn't listen to what you're saying.
Oh, dinosaur.
I might have to the RAPters.
Dive into Code Violent and exhilarating third person action horror game from
team kill media.
It looks pretty easy. It's 50 bucks.
They have like the UI on the arm there.
It's cool. It's got like
janky kind of anime. Oh God, yeah, that dinosaur
hopping is not what I'm in for.
It features heart stopping survival
gameplay. Strategic inventory management.
Explosive action horror combat.
Dude, this Red Bulls kicking my ass.
Good. Terminator 2D,

For me.
Finally out. Experience the fill of Terminator 2
Judgment Day with arcade action and pixel perfect
graphics and this unique story blending iconic scenes from the movie with original scenarios
and multiple endings, humanity's fate is yours to decide.
I've been so fucking excited about this since they announced it.
And of course, it has been delayed and delayed.
And there's always something going and they've got to fucking put the boxes together was one of their excuses.
I cannot fucking wait for this.
And I hope it actually comes out on December 12th.
Mike, I know you're excited.
December 15th, Man-eater comes to iOS and Android.
This made me smile when I just read that.
I cannot believe that.
Wow, good for them.
Similar to Andy,
if there's somebody out there,
a rich millionaire, billionaire
that wants to give me a bunch of money,
I will team up with the Man Eater team,
and I promise you,
we will give you Cocaine Bear the video game.
We will move from the sea to the land,
and I will give you cocaine bear, the video game.
Man Eater is so much fun.
I can't imagine it on my phone
as I just don't play games on my phone,
but you know what?
People will be doing that.
People will be doing it.
And I guess it's good.
And if you are doing that,
let me tell you about the shark PG, the R from RPG is in the shark.
Oh, nice.
I love this game so much.
You go from a little baby, Great White into a megaladon,
and you're just eating your way through all the different areas.
It's Grand Theft Auto, but you're a shark.
You just have so much fun.
It's a blast.
This game rules.
According to the chat, Aztec 40 says code violate got delayed until January.
So you can take it up with game informer email Alex Van Aiken.
The Rogue Prince of Persia
Comes to Switch and switch to December 16th
Of course this was a beloved
One that Tim wouldn't shut up about back in the way
No, you're thinking of the other one
You're thinking of Lost Crown
Tim loved this one too didn't he
I mean I think he liked it fine
Oh okay yeah
I know he loved Lost Crown
I thought he also enjoyed this one quite a bit
Maybe he didn't
Well the problem is that this one
I think he liked a lot but it came out
After yeah very close to Lost Crown
In early access
And then this year I got a full release
This is like a few months ago
Part of the Dead Cells team
Yeah, correct?
Part of the Dead Saves.
Yeah, so they,
Motion Twin.
Motion Twin.
Was the original developers,
who's working on windblown.
And so maybe they branched off
and called themselves Evilton.
I don't know, but I know that it's like,
you know, whenever that split happened,
this team worked on this video game.
And I've heard like...
Evil Empire.
Okay.
I haven't heard enough things to want to check it out.
Sure, sure, sure, sure.
in a in a landscape where we just have a lot of like really high quality games
