a little 60 for it. Is that normal? Is that the normal amount to throw down? Is 60 how much it cost to get 10 packs? There's no way. How much is it to get 10 free packs opened? I don't know. At once. If I had a guess, I would have said like 20 bucks. I'll find out right now. There's no ways. Why is he dropping 60? There's no ways. I felt like it was 60 the last time. I mean, if your starting weapon is so good that even though you introduce more weapons throughout the game, we all still use the blades of, chaos and like it's the thing in every single game yeah i think the blades of chaos have to be there other good starting weapons starting weapons so far we've done i think we have i think we got some pretty good ones we have five here it's a it's a it's a top eight i'm missing i'm missing one one's at the top of my tongue and i'm just i just don't know what it is it's on the tip of my tongue where am i at what do you got because like i mean you say the halo pistol i what came to mind to me was like the 007 pistols, but I feel like HAL is probably more iconic.

I know he has the stick when he's on the island You can choose to have a bat Yeah okay put put the keyblade Keyblade feels right for a list like this It is the weird thing of how do you define a starting I wouldn't put it on my list Like do I have to have the weapon in my hand in the first 10 minutes?

Or is it just the first weapon that I acquire? When the game starts, you have to have your weapon. That's how I, that's how I consider a starting weapon. When the game begins, you have to have that weapon. In the same vein as the crowbar. What about the wrench and Bioshock? Is that a starting weapon? Again, it's been so long since I played some of these games?

So I'm sure. I was thinking the first one. Yeah. I'm actually, I'm going to give this. I'm going to give this a thumbs up. I like, I like having that in there. It does feel like a great starting weapon.

It feels iconic to me. You know what? One I didn't think of, one that gets a thumbs up from me. I agree with that. Okay. Let's look at number seven. Number eight, not bad.

Number seven. Bioshock the wrench, motherfucker. Yeah, right. He got it. Bioshock the wrench, motherfucker. What? Come on. Okay.

Okay. You got to think of a icon status. We're putting the hidden blade above that? Yes. That's crazy. The Bioshock wrench? The Bioshock wrench? It's iconic.

The Assassin's Creed hidden blade? No. What's your argument for the Hidden Blade? You think it's more popular? Yeah, it's more. I think if we walked down the street, more people are going to say, oh, the Assassin's Creed Hidden Blade for sure over a Bioshock wrench.

We didn't even say the Assassin's Creed Hidden Blade, but we did say the wrench. You didn't the wrench. Because I'm goaded. I still don't think that you get the The hidden blade the first time we see it I don't think you get that right away I think that you have to

I think for me, when I think of Bioshock, if you were to ask me to name a weapon in Bioshock, I think the first one I'm naming is the wrench. That's great. Yeah. Because it persists with you throughout the entire game. I mean, the fucking hook in the pistol and Bioshock infinite. Okay, well, that's infinite. You know what I'm talking about the

first bio shock. And possibly the second one. And who played the second one? Who played the second one? Okay. Oh, wait, well, we have a little one and two that we both like and agree with. Let's go to number six. All right.

Number six, we got control the service weapon. Oh, that might be a top three. That's a really good pick. Hey, now. Number six, I mean, there's five weapons above this. I think this is the coolest looking one. Definitely. parts and stuff. Definitely. Is it

a starter weapon if that's the main weapon that you have throughout the game? Because I know it transforms. Yeah. But like you definitely. But like the service weapon is just it's just the weapon. Like somebody in the chat said earlier, Mega Man and Metroid both have excellent starting weapons.

Where it's like, you know. Oh yeah, Samis. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I guess that bus is wide open. Yeah. I'm gonna give this. I'll give it a thumbs up. It's good. You said top three. And it's like, It's interesting now. Because, yeah, it could be higher.

You could make a case for it to be higher. Depending. I need to see what's above this because I would make the case for this guy. Or you could just make a case, hey, this is on the list. That's good. You know, making the list is a big deal. It is a big deal. There's a lot of, there's a lot of weapons and we've only chosen.

I know Remedy. Remedy saw this list and it meant a lot to them. They're like, thank God. They would have cried with the list. The recognition is right. All right. Give me the next one. All right.

Number five, we got Star Wars, Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy, the lightsaber. No, no. That's too, no, that sucks. Sucks. That's not fun. That's not creative. Everybody can go to Star Wars and say, oh, a lightsaber. Interesting that they went with this specific Star Wars game when half the Star Wars games you start off with lightsabers.

Hate it. Like, you didn't even go Jedi Fall in Order. You went Star Wars Jedi Academy. It's crazy how mad I am right now. Thank you, Kevin. I'm furious. Now I'm disappointed in game ran. That sucks.

That's kind of nuts. For me, you're allowed one miss. Okay. So like, I'm a- Out of eight? Out of eight. Listen, if it was a top ten, I was allowed than two misses.

What? If there was a top ten? Because, like, I'm not going to agree with everybody, but yeah, this is Astonine. This is a bad choice. That's great. It's just too easy. It's lame.

It's not creative. A lightsaber? Come on now. Yeah. We could have got a little more deep. Let me read the reasoning here. They say it could be argued that all, they could be argued that all any Star Wars fan wants to do in a video game

set in a galaxy far far away is get their hands on a lightsaber. as such it makes sense that in Raven Software, Star Wars Jedi Knight titles, even though players can unleash a whole arsenal of blasters on the enemy, the iconic laser sword is often the player's best bet. So I think the argument here is that you can get other weapons in this game, but you get the lightsaber first and why would you even switch up? Of the weapons in the Star Wars universe that you would rather have to the lightsaber? Well, that's their argument.

There's zero. Well, that's an eight spot for sure, right? This should have been... That's an honorable mention. They're saying that you can have a whole arsenal of blasters, but they give you the lightsaber first and why would you ever change? It's the best starter weapon.

I don't agree with it. No, no, we don't agree with it. Put the crowbar above this. I mean, you're going to see the crowbar. Now that I've seen the wrench, the crowbar might be number one. No, you can't get both on the list, right? That's crazy, talk.

I mean, if you're putting one on the list, it's going to be the crowbar over the wrench. So, yeah, you're going to see the crowbar on this list. But is it too old, is what I'm saying. If the halo pistol is not number one, we have a problem. You want to keep going? Let's keep going. on number four.

Number four. Tomb Raider 2013, the bow. Fuck, yeah. I forgot that it was a starter weapon. Yeah, the bow was a big thing on the Tomb Raider reboot. The bow was like the number one. Oh, you know what?

The bow did go hard. Yeah. I remember getting it. But like, does the game have to be more iconic? Now, just so you know, I would have gone with the dual pistols just because that's way more iconic

than the bow. I agree with that. So like, odd choice just feels like, oh, I remembered that Loracroft had a bow in this remake. and that's what we got to go with. The pistols are way more Loracroft Tomb Raider.

I think we could say that the wrench should be higher than this. I mean, if you ask me, I'd say yes, but the wrench higher than this. This one's just like one of those where you read and you're like, I guess. It's kind of lame. It's kind of basic.

I don't love it. Right now, this list is a bit wobbly to me. Right? We started off. Blue wobbly. Because we started off strong. I think the first two or three were strong picks. We did start off fair show.

Now that we've gotten to the middle with Star Wars and now this this bow. Now I'm like, this could go either way as far as me saying that this list. They're going to really sway because either this list is the shit or this list is shit. All right?

That's what you play on this? Yeah. That's cool. That's how we write it. Is it the shit or it's fun? Listen, me and Tim had a lot of fun with this one when we did the show exclusively on Patreon. I like it.

How about the axe or the Kratos Chaos Blades? I think that the axe, like, the first time you pull it back and how good that feels and you're like...

Oh, man, we just, ah. You know what? Whoever made this list they cooked up? They were like, you know what? I got a fucking crazy one. What did we put Pokemon? This has to be why they made the list. They're like, oh, I'm going to put Pokemon.

Let's build a list around. Oh, 1,000%. They were like, oh, they had an argument with their friends at the bar the night before about our Pokemon's weapons or not. And then they got really excited because they're like, oh, I'm going to turn this to an article. But somebody talked them out of it, putting in the number one slot.

Man, you had such a strong thing, too, with Dead Space. Like, you got Dead Space Control. You have the, you have the, what's the top one? You have the Hidden Blades and the wrench. Yeah. You have four great ones out of this eight path that you have. Coming off of that Plasma cutter number three, I thought that we were going to,

I thought this was going to have a strong ending. The moment that we saw, the lightsabers, you knew this was wobbly and shaky. and then it's only just built from that. This was the one where you kind of, it was wobbly and shaky, and this one was the most dangerous Djanga piece that you could pull you in.

This was the equivalent of like, you're almost home. This is crazy. You accidentally missed the last exit, and you're like, fuck, dude. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, fuck. Okay, all right. Next.

Wait, well, before you go next, before you go next, what do you think is number one? You know what? Because now we're in a weird place. See, I'm locked in on the Halo pistol. Maybe that's just me, but like, I do think for this list and how, like,

kind of generic it is and like I think it is going to be the halo pistol but there's a piece of me ready for this? The buster sword. See, that's what I was thinking. I think this does become a buster sword. I think it's buster sword or I think it's

crowbar. I think it's the half-life crowbar. You put the wrench on this list. You don't put the wrench on this list up in the crowbar. I could see it being somebody in the chat said about Mario's boot. I was thinking about Mario. That'd be bullshit if it's I will say we haven't gotten God of War on this list have we yet. I haven't gotten a war.

Erd Tree is probably really affected this DLC list right here. Now you look at it and go, well, look at what they gave on Urtree. I'm looking for the biggest and baddest in DLCs. Does Blood and Wine add to the map? I don't know on The Witcher because there's one that's really big and then I think you're, I think you're right.

That Urtree and I think Phantom Liberty. Wait, why is adding to the map suddenly a thing? Because I think Mike is saying that this list is probably being based heavily off of Erdree coming out. which was like a four, like it added a whole new map and was basically like a, like, was basically a full game. It was basically a full new game. Sure.

40 hour new game, which for some people isn't enough. You know what I mean? So Ertree's number one. I think Artree is number one. Blood and Wine was huge as to what people are saying. Because I'm very curious of like, they say the Frost-themed expansion in Monster Hunter World could have been its own offshoot, but Capcom saw it saw fit to release this massive release as an expansion, adding a massive amount of content that drastically expanded the base game and making good on the world moniker. Iceborne transports hunters, uh,

to the icy regions of the whore frostry. I just realized that there wasn't bloodborne the old hunters by the head of race. They added a new subcontinent teaming with colossal fearsome creatures that tested even the most seasoned hunters. Chief among them, the elder ice dragon Valcana.

I'm not mad at it. No, you can't be. You cannot be. I mean, like, I've heard enough people talk about iceborne, like the monster hunter sickos out there. And so it's not like they pick some random shit. It's not like it's like not a good thing. I love that it gave us a the left turn that we didn't think about.

And I love that this could easily... This could have easily been a 5 through 8 and then, you know, 1 through 4. This could go anywhere. You know what? This list, bless, is the shit. I think this list is the shit. I think Monster Honor World Iceborne,

I'm gonna say confident pick. It's one of those ones where it is, hey, I know what people love as DLCs. Like, I am listing you the things that you know. But I'm somebody who's going to say, Monster Honor Iceborn, the best one. Like, you are somebody that has confidence in the thing you love.

I respect it. And you know what? No big MMOs, no MMO expansions. You could have gone anywhere with any of those. You could have put that in. Surprising. I'm shocked it wasn't a top 10. Why is this a top 8?

You could easily add two more spots to this list. Could have. Easily. I mean, the prey pull? Yeah. I mean, good stuff going on on this list. I give it a thumbs up. I think this list is the shit.
