That was one of your games of the year last year. I'm here because I hate Ghost of Yote. No, I really like Ghosts Yote. But I love the Legends mode. and Ghost of Sushima Legends, and I've started playing Ghost of Yote Legends, and I continue to adore it, and I'm really excited for me and you to hop in the Legends together. You've not even booted it up. Haven't booted it up. I got PS Plus for this. Big deal. It's been four years.

That's crazy that you're just now getting PSPLs. You know, I'm standing strong. I looked around and I said I could only have Xbox Game Pass. That's it. Okay. I refuse to pay to upload my saves. And guess what? Now I've done it, everybody. Now he's done it. Hop right in. Entering, yeah, Legend Mode for the first time we're going to see a cutscene. We're going to go at all, and we're going to go through the tutorial. and then me and bless are going to hop in.

Yeah, why you're doing that? I'm just going to hang out on my game. So how do you play this? You do the standard or you do the subtitle? Do you do the Summary Cinema? I will do the English subtitle. I'll do subtitle just for the audience, but I do the Samurai. I do Samurai cinema because I am a weepo.

I don't have time to, like, go order a taco and wait for it and all that stuff. So I was like, you know what? I'll just go in the store and just grab something. And then the hot Cheetos were staring back at me.

Okay, cool. We have class abilities. We got an ultimate, which I'm pretty sure. in the... He's a lot of sugar? Yeah, they do. I'm sure they do. I'm sure they do.

I love blessing trying to look around, trying to find where the... It's on the thing. Like, if you go to like the actual, yeah, there. And then you go to add a sugar at the bottom. Oh no. Oh boy. Yeah. That's some sugar right there.

How much? Read it. It's just a lot, you know? How many grams? It just says all sugars come from the fruits, though. All sugars come from the fruits, though. from the fruits, that's a good one. It's a whole breakdown.

So they have the three classes right here, correct? They have the... Four classes. Four classes. Yeah. What am I missing then? Is there one back here? Or is these not the classes?

No, those aren't the classes. Go to the right press R2. Oh, modified class. Yeah, so you have the samurai, which is kind of like the basic class. That's the one that can siphon life. You have the archer, which has like archer abilities, stuff that enhances your long range move set.

You have the mercenary, which is, I think, one of my favorites. No, the Shinobi, I think is more stealth. Mercenary is straight up, like, it has abilities that revolve around. dropping the weapons. So you know when you have the weapons on the ground they can pick up and throw? Yeah.

You can like generate those or force enemies to drop those using your ultimate. Sick. And then the Shinobi will go invisible for a moment and have like smoke bomb type shit, right? And all these classes level up

and gain way more abilities as you go. Nice. Okay, cool. So they only have like skill trees and stuff. Yeah, I see passive abilities right here on the side. And not like skill trees necessarily. Oh, yeah, not skill trees necessarily

but like unlockable like passives. Yeah. And so I guess it depends on how you define a tree. When I think tree, I think branches. You know what I mean? Yeah. But like, this is more of a stick.

It's a twig. It's a skill twig. It's just linear. I never thought about that. You know what caught? Get a tree. In the chat says skill shrubbery. But yeah, the more you play, the more you rank up your classes, the more you unlock

these passives. And so you start off, like, the first one you get, right, for, let's say... Is it good? I just wanted to know if it's good. We just started. Do you love it? Is it great? We're two minutes in.

Yeah. Oh, wow. Come back in like 10 minutes, we'll tell you. But yeah, the first one for the mercenary, for example, you get defensive tools. And so we can put down, like, these spirit spikes in the ground to trap enemies in there. I love the UI on this. I think it's so cool to show the video. Yeah, super cool.

Really dope. And then as you go, you start off with one weapon, but you can then unlock more of the weapons. if you want. And let's go through techniques really quick. These are the class abilities, essentially. Yes, class abilities that you also unlock and buy and you slot in. As you can see, there's like three different slots that you get. Yeah.

And so as you progress, that's like more of the, all right, what skill set do you want to like, you know, have for your character? You can pick and choose there. Gotcha. Okay, cool. So you go mostly mercenary? I go back and forth between mercenary and archer. Okay. I want to do Samurai

because I think I'm more of like a parry guy I like parrying in this game I like the feeling of using those in the Adachi Adachi Hell yeah Which I really enjoy So yeah we have equipped the

I think right now you don't have anything else unlocked, but you're going to unlock a bunch of gear as we play the game. So you have different versions of the Odachi and the batana and everything. So there's four missions per thing. That's pretty cool. Yeah, you have the three basic missions, and then, which are all two-player, and then the incursion, which is four-player. Okay. And then I have difficulties that are locked behind certain things, right? So I have the bronze, live the legend of the ghost, and then I'm assuming these are-

Yes, and we'll get there eventually. Okay. So you beat one and then you get another one, I'm assuming. Okay. And then the idea is that you'll then come back and replay. to the higher difficulty ones to get better gear. Okay, I put matchmaking on. Is that we're supposed to do or no?

Should I turn that off? Turn it off because there's two of us already, so we don't even need it. Oh, okay, I mean... Oh, but I can just ready up. There we go. All right, we're good. Yeah.

Like it's very easy to, you know, play with a stranger, even with your mics off. That's sick.

I'm just missing my shots left and right. I try on that gyro. I'm not crazy. That's nuts. That's how I played... Splatoon? No. Resident Evil.

No. Yeah, dude. They have, on the PS5, they have really good gyro where it's like super minuscule and you can get those perfect head shots. Really good. Damn. That's a pro tip for anybody who's playing Resident Evil 9. If you want to get some head shots with there turn it on for your PlayStation 5 really good stuff. It's nuts

Yeah. Hell yeah, dude. So fun. After safeguarding the cemetery, the ghost pursued the remaining enemies toward the last. I do like the narrator. Yeah. It's very much like, we're going to tell you the exact thing you need to do so you don't get lost. But also, it's cool within the.

context of the story because it's a storybook yeah the idea is that the narrator is telling the legends of like this ghost character yeah and so it's kind of like the single if it's similar to susima right it's the story of the ghost told centuries later and like they're perceived as legend because they're this mythical creature it doesn't seem like stealth is too viable in this game mode yeah no i for me i just throw away stealth like i think if you really wanted to we could pull off stealth But like, I don't, yeah, I don't think it's like, I think it just waste time. Oh shit, I went down. I'm right next to the health.

Yeah. Storyline, which, like, immediately hits you with, like, a new mechanic. Oh, okay. And it's very interesting coming back to this one and saying that they keep it very straightforward here. Yeah. Okay, so I got a gun. Did I get a gun? Or this is an ability.

No, those are your items. Oh, okay. Yeah, that's all loot. Okay, cool. So I'm going to look through and see how this goes. So, yeah, that was the entirety of it, pretty much. Yeah, that was the first mission. Okay, gotcha.

When you break it down, because, like, think about that, that's one of like the four missions for just the spider. Yeah. Times that by four. Oh, dude. Right? And then we don't even get into the survival mode. Which is also a lot of content.

I got to do my favorite thing. What's that? Bamboo strikes, bro. I was locked in. The bamboo strike here is crazy. Oh, you're doing the basic one. There's another one next to that. I think they call it like, there's a word for it.
