Welcome to the Kind of Funny Games cast for October 2nd, 2025.
I am Andy Cortez, and I'm joined by Nick Scarpino.
Hello, Andy.
Hey, Nick.
Good to see you, man.
Good to be seen.
Yeah, good to be seen.
Also joined by the two Call of Duty bros that had themselves a week of a lifetime,
and I cannot wait to hear all of the stories.
Roger Percorny and Snowbike, Mike.
Hello, Andy.
I would like to read a message.
What's happening?
Yeah, what is happening between you?
to right now. Zero idea what's happening because I
what's going. Actually, I do have an idea because I'll read a message from
10.52 a.m. right before
Games Daily was finished. How we just started like? Yeah.
Quote, there's no fun, no
energy. This is from Snowbike Mike.
I'm going to go nonverbal.
He just looked at me, sent that message
and said, you're going to tell all the stories today.
But I've already gone verbal.
Okay. Yeah, but you're doing, you're doing a verbal
nonverbal right now. Yeah, exactly. You're salty
for some reason. I want to know why the boo-boo.
Plus, Mike, it's already been like,
over 24 hours since you all got back.
The stories are like, they came and they went.
You told them to us?
I've already told the stories.
The last issue is that Mike has been telling the stories
to anybody who will listen.
I'm trying to keep it secret.
The stories I've already been out there
because of Mike.
If you haven't been listening,
I'm excited to tell you at all
because we have some fun ones.
We have some secret ones.
Mike may or may not have potentially shit his pants.
We will talk about that later.
He definitely did because he texted me.
Body got loose.
I shit my face.
I got a little loose.
This is the kind of funny games cast.
each and every weekday we get together to talk about
the biggest reviews, previews, and topics of video games
live on YouTube, Twitch, and podcast
services around the globe.
If you love what we do, support us with the
kind of funny membership on Patreon, YouTube,
Spotify, or Apple Podcasts to get all of our shows
ad-free, watch us record them live and get a daily
exclusive show. For a chance to be part of the show,
submit your thoughts and opinions
as YouTube super chats. I'm not
really sure what you could possibly
even super chat in.
Because before the
the podcast started, Roger said,
Andy, I got the doc set up for you.
You should probably maybe ask a question to you about the video game
because I don't have any info about it down there.
So maybe I'll...
Kind of got caught up in all the shenanigans we did.
Forgot that we also played the game.
Yeah, they played a decent amount of Black Ops 7.
And we'll get to learn all about that.
Remember, we're in 11 presses business,
all about live talk shows.
Kind of funny games daily was about GameStop standing up
to the Xbox Game Pass price increase.
And after this, we have...
Tron Legacy in
Review.
Cannot wait.
And we got some surprises
for you all.
You special guests,
maybe.
Yeah.
It's a special guest
for Tron in a review.
Yeah.
I can't believe we got him.
Yeah.
I can't believe we got them.
I can't believe they're going to be here.
It's the CG version of what's his face?
Oh, Jeff Bridges,
Jeff Bridges his face.
Awful.
His,
just his lips that would have been moved.
At one point,
I swear to got the lips
just sort of moved off the face and then came back to the face.
What the fuck are we doing?
If you're kind of funny member,
today's Greg Way is 24 minutes and it tackles the question.
And it tackles the question.
question, is game passes value actually perfect?
Oh, damn.
Hot takes.
Greg's looking for the heat.
Yeah.
The streets weren't hot enough for him.
He wants it.
Thank you to our Patreon producers, Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster, and Delaney the Somme
Twining.
We greatly, greatly appreciate you all, everybody.
Today, we're brought to you by the Kind of Funny Games Daily episode 2000 and our new
merch.
We'll tell you all about that later.
For now, let's start with topic of the show.
Black Op 7
You, Roger Percorni
at Snowbike Mike
Went to Las Vegas
For
Not just a game event
There were many, many activities had
In Las Vegas
I want to know all about them
I want to know about the video game as well
I saw a lot of scuttle butt on the internet
About
You know
Some zombie streamers being like
I don't want to play a battle royale
And it's like okay
But like that's the fucking event
You gotta do what they tell you to play
Like they were doing
They flew you out there
to do, you know, to go through the schedule.
So I want to hear if you all got any sort of the, you know, experience any of the drama there.
And also what sort of celebrities you all met?
Where do you want to start?
Because I had a very, very, well, I had a very, I believe it was an Instagram story from Roger,
which sort of really set the scene who said, we already have about two hours worth of podcast material.
And we haven't even gotten on the plane yet with the stuff.
the Stoneback Mike has been doing.
Yeah, we, uh, we started off.
Roger showed a blate.
No, bought a Starbucks.
Fucking Roger.
I don't know.
So let me just set the theme from my perspective, right?
So I had this be,
this is just like going to be a K of course.
Oh yeah, yeah.
I just want to hold on, hold on,
before we do this,
because because before we get into the social aspect of this,
now we have to do that,
we have to do the HIP view versus my view.
And all times like that.
Here's what here's what it was.
The right and the wrong.
I am legitimately interested in the game itself.
Should we talk about the different modes you played, how you feel about those modes?
We'll get there.
We're not going to get there.
You're going to have a lot of fun with this.
The beta is open right now.
We're going to play you and I this weekend and on Monday.
Okay.
What about me?
New war on map?
So, stop.
Diling it back.
Let's talk about Nick.
Let's talk about the game.
Let's talk about the game.
No, I didn't see the sniper.
Oh, so there's a.
killstreet with the super sniper that sees through walls, it's sick. You're going to love it.
Oh, okay. So what did you guys play when you want? What modes do you guys play? So, uh,
modes and maps. As Andy was alluding to, they put us through a bunch of the different modes here.
So we played multiplayer, which had team death match, domination, hard points. So this standard,
the standard stuff, right? New maps. Yes. Or recycling old map. Movement plus. Yes. Um,
you can jump off of walls now.
Omni Movement plus?
Bounce.
Yeah.
They put a plus next to it?
Yeah.
This one costs even more.
Oh, yeah.
How much is the battle pass on this one?
The ProXL one comes out next to you.
They're going to do the C version, which is just the normal version of moving.
Yes.
And they put us through multiplayer.
Then we went into zombies.
We played that new map there.
And then Warzone, we played the new map on Warzone.
And then we also played the new version of Verdantz, which has a few new P-O-I's and
updated. Okay, so we played war zone.
This is the resurgence map that you guys are playing
on right now. What's it called? Haven's Heaven?
Hollows.
All hollows.
Hallows. Hallows.
Hollows end.
You guys burned a lot of brain cells out.
Yeah, it was a week. Yeah, yeah. It was a week.
Haven's hollow. There it is.
Based off of a called duty zombies map
from last year, Nick. It has
Appalachia vibes in the fall.
Ooh. I like that. And it has nine
POIs on it from a river
boat all the way up to the top, near the
mountain peak, and it rocks.
When you say based on a Black Ops map,
was it like, these
are a lot of the structures in that map,
and then they expanded beyond that?
The whole downtown, if you remember,
if you remember playing Calduty zombies,
that first, no, this is, uh, this is not.
Oh, this is? Yeah, I was going to say this, no, it's not for
Nask. No, I think this is for day. Yeah, that's for Dan's up.
Oh, is it snowy now? The Call Duty
map last time, the Zombies map.
They have all of downtown.
the bowling alley and more,
and then they expand it upon that around it.
Okay.
Very cool.
Yeah,
it has a different look and feel to it,
very vibrant,
very pretty.
And yeah,
it's exactly what you expect.
It is that little area,
and then they expand past it
and they have a little river.
They have some really cool moments there.
I played one game of that,
and I had a good time.
I'm not a war zone person.
That's not the way that I played this game.
This is the new map.
This is the research map?
Yes,
I believe so.
Okay,
interesting.
So it's mostly flat.
Yes.
So we're seeing here.
Yeah.
Interesting.
A lot of buildings.
Big circle.
I don't mind it.
A lot of close quarter battles.
Bigger than rebirth.
Yeah, it's good, Nick.
This map really, really wrong.
You liking it?
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm excited to spend more time.
We got an hour on that,
which came out to about three games for us.
So not enough time,
but just enough to get teased and want more.
Now,
did you get murdered by any huge streamers in this?
Oh, every huge streamer was there.
Was teet there?
FIFA.
Killer was there who won World Series of Warzone.
He dominated us.
Everybody in their mama was here.
It was a big event, big time event.
What are some of the big key differences that you could say that you've noticed?
I know we didn't put the most time into Black Op 6.
We did our usual, like, here's a couple weeks with it and we hop in and hop out.
What were some of the big things that you go, oh, I like these perks that you were
mentioning with the sniper or whatever, these perk features, the, the, you know, the,
way the movement is sort of intermingled with these older maps,
kind of adds a lot new opportunities.
What were some of the big takeaways?
Yeah, they have a lot of new,
they have a new perk system right here where basically if you are able to,
like the different colors of the perks, right, they have red, blue, and green,
if you either mix or match with certain ones, you have two of one color,
or if you have all of one color, then you get another perk, right?
So you're able to kind of build out your load out that way.
there was one, which I don't remember the color situation, what it was, but there was one where
every time you get a kill, like basically you get like a mini UAV for like a few seconds.
You get to see where the next closest enemy is.
So that was super helpful for me and us specifically with the way that we played.
We did, spoiler, we shared a controller the entirety of the time we played multiplayer.
So for us being able to kind of kill somebody and then immediately see where to go, it helped us work
together and kind of make call duty history.
So that was a big deal.
Did you guys get any kills?
Yeah.
Surprisingly enough, we got a lot of kills.
Yes.
We did super well.
What did your, here's a, I guess, a question for you guys then.
You were playing in resurgence when you guys were sharing this?
No.
Multiplayer and zombies is where we shared.
Okay.
So you're playing multiplayer.
So presumably you have other members, people that were around you on your team.
6'6.
Cool.
How did they feel about you guys sharing a controller?
Everyone loved it.
Yeah, everybody was fun.
That was good.
We were talking to town.
Really.
Yeah, everyone loved it.
Activision loved that we did that.
And also our team loved it because we weren't at the bottom of the leaderboard.
We weren't at the bottom of the leaderboard, Nick.
Wow.
Ever.
That gives me hope that I would go and not be at the bottom of the leaderboard too.
Because I don't want to be embarrassed in front of all the top streamers on the planet.
Because here's the thing, Nick, I think you misunderstood because I think that, oh, this is like a handicap for us.
This is a plus.
We're doing better than we were individually because we're melding our minds.
We're able to have a call outs.
Yeah, we're having the call outs.
He's looking at me.
Coach Mike with the calmness.
of Raj former, perfect mix.
Calmness and precision.
This is the only way we're going to play in the future
is we're going to share a controller.
I think that's the best way.
Well, I mean, I think it's the right way to do it.
Because as you guys know, me and Andy
and Mike play better when Mike's the meat in our sandwich.
Yeah, that's nice.
And so that's good.
And this is zombies here.
It's a gross thing to say.
I don't know.
We're just not a zombies household here.
We're not really a cod zombies.
They've never been a PVE household.
That's one.
It's kind of weird.
Yeah.
Although, you think that I would be really into God.
Well, you never got
into what was the other what was the other mode that was there with DMZ for a while i thought
dmz was okay it was okay it was like whatever i don't think i got it at the time i had friends that were
like dude you should drop into this and i just didn't i didn't catch that it was pve i just thought it was
a practice well tvp there was other players yeah but you there were so few and far between
yeah a chance to i don't think people were playing it i agree that's the problem with cod is there's
just so much of it and so little of it is the actual experience that you're looking for depending on
who you are if you want multiplayer you want you hate fucking battle royale if you like
Battle Real, you probably don't like multi-
you only play multiplayer to grind guns.
And that's a problem they have yet to solve for me.
Was there any semblance of
Nicky Minaj
fucking fucking
Chish and Chonk? No.
Beavis and butthead. No snoop skin? No, we didn't see any of that.
We just see normal. Yeah, eventually
I'm sure you'll get that. But yeah, no, we just saw regular.
What did modification look like with
skins? Like, were you
changing, you know, did the standard
soldier characters have
like different cosmetics
and then how did weapon modification
look at all.
You were in those menus more than I was.
Do you see any of that?
Yeah, the skin-wise, it looked like
the normal call-duty skins that you would see, Andy.
There wasn't anything different about it.
They were sticking with the, hey, here's the five
beta traditional soldier skins
that you'll see from the campaign to multiplayer.
There was nothing different or insane
about that. Loadouts-wise,
it was your normal load-out look
but with different perks involved, the
perk system is definitely where you're going to get
and try to find your best load out that fits your play style, which is the most fun to get
into.
Gun-wise, there's a lot of new guns.
Weapons, weapons, weapons is what they're going to talk about a lot.
There's some returning guns from way back in the day.
There's all, I think, like, 18 new guns, maybe like six old guns.
So you're playing with a lot of new things.
And also a lot of camos.
They focused a huge part of the pre-briefing presentation on camo, specifically because
weapon prestige is back.
so you can prestige all of your guns up to three prestigious,
and they have by the time you get to the master prestige
a very special weapon camo.
So they're showing off how crazy this can get.
As far as weapon mods and upgrades for the guns, right?
Scale of Mike, this is specifically for you.
Scale of 1 to 10, how confusing and annoying is it going to be?
Not at all, because guess what, Nick?
Now you can share a loadout code with your friends or your community.
And if someone kills you during that kill cam,
you can copy their gun load out right from there.
But you don't have to have the things up like...
Well, you'll have to have the gun upgraded on the attachments.
So how do you...
That's what I'm saying.
Attachments upgrades.
Progression for the gun.
How annoying is that?
Every gun and everything through every avenue of Call Duty 7.
So if we play single player, if we play co-op campaign, if we play zombies, war zone, or multiplayer,
all that progression will be happening at the same time.
Are they still doing the thing where the attachments go for multiple guns, but you have to
unlock the pistol in order to get the shotgun in order to get the sniper rifle.
Do you see what I'm saying?
I thought they stopped that last time.
Yeah.
No, I think that was still, well, I thought I thought Blackop six, they stopped that.
Okay, good.
Yeah, and also, in terms of progression, we, we, we weren't really like doing that or focusing
on the world.
They gave us a few guns and everything.
You guys know what I'm talking about?
The last time I played, I was like, oh, I really want this, this new, like, this
sniper out SMG, but they were like, oh, if you want this great clip, you have to
upgrade the pistol to level 17
and I'm like what the fuck
nobody cares about the pistol nobody wants to play
with pistol until that's the meta that's not a thing
anymore I don't think thank God which is good
yeah this is back to basics call of duty
I mean just give me a gun let me grind the gun let me
level up the gun let me get all the attacks
if you play black op six it's that
plus a few new features that's kind of the vibe
that I felt in black op six
black's up seven rather I wasn't disappointed
I had a good time with it it was it just
feels like more black up six it feels like
hey we're making it more
We're giving it a new coat of paint, new weapons.
The Omni Movement feels like Omni Movement plus the jumping adds a little bit of
flare. But yeah, it's everything you love about Blackop Six, but it's more of it.
So yeah, this is kind of exactly what I wanted.
I didn't want them to kind of break the whole franchise and try to be like, oh, well, we have
to make a new game.
So no more Omni movement.
We're going to change.
Blackop Six is such a great kind of ground floor for where they can build off for the future
of Call of Duty.
So I was happy with it.
I had a good time with it.
This is what's confusing me.
A racket is in the chat.
So there's no, that was years ago,
Call of Duty.
That was not.
That was like last year.
The last time I went into Warzone,
they had the system of upgrading each component for each weapon was so goddamn
convoluted that it was very,
very annoying.
But also times moving fast.
It's fair.
It's fair.
I just remember when we first got into Warzone,
they were like,
here's the gun.
You get the gun up to level 30 or 32 or whatever.
I think the max level for guns at that point were like 60.
And so you had to get that,
but you got all the components from that.
gun and then it would annoy me because the next week
that gun would get nerfed and then the meta would be
another gun and that's how they kept it going.
But there was a moment, I think it was, I swear
to God, it was the last Calhudi I played where
they were like, if you want this component
for this gun, you have to level
another gun up to level 12 to
unlock this to get it there. It was so
convoluted and we all hated it. How did it be wrong?
How did the battle pass and all that look this time
around? Were there any glimpses of it?
There's no battle pass. Okay. No, not during
this. We didn't see anything. Gotcha.
Okay. Want to talk about zombies a little
it. It's a different map.
It's called Ashes of the Damned.
It's the way that they're building this out
is a bunch of smaller locations
that you then hop in a car
and then go from location to location.
Again, Mike and I shared a controller and absolutely dominated.
Took us a few tries. We had to kind of
figure out the location. It's a real question.
Have you guys thought about streaming together all
the time with just sharing the controller?
I mean, this is going to be the... I put out the off for many
of times to all of you in this building.
I mean, I've taken...
You get rejected a lot.
We're doing the Silent Hill F.
I'm just saying, this might be the best idea ever.
As, as a, as a streamer, you just go over to Mike's house every night.
What I've offered.
You pick up Andy.
He just, uh, uh, Andy.
Andy, you get the triggers.
You didn't need to toss that in.
And your schick, your theme, the gimmick is that you always play together.
Yeah.
But you have to hold the same controller.
And you get on the key, you're on the left keyboard.
He's on the, I would love that.
I mean, think about, think about this.
Think about for PC gaming, right?
Tell me.
Tell me.
He's so strong to let me be the PC.
Think about for PC gaming.
You're just on the keyboard, and he's got two mouse.
Oh, two miles.
He's finally got the left-handed mice that he should be using.
And then the right-handed mouse that he's like into.
What is this?
You wouldn't let you play keyboard?
No.
I tried to.
I grabbed the mouse.
And I was like, let's just do keyboard mouse.
He said, no, that takes away too much.
No, that's not what I said.
That's not what I said.
He wanted me to be on the controller and him to be on the mouse.
And I was like, that's not like, that doesn't look good for the
video like doesn't look like good content like it's funnier if we're sharing and controller got
and he's like roger don't worry about you know i was going to dominate
don't worry about god uh mike's awakened his keyboard mouse skill like that's what i told
the 360 stuff once you finally mandi once you started like you know getting that shit down that's
why i said i said today is the day you should try keyboard mouse he wouldn't do it no you
really come around what happens it no is that you said my hand hurts after doing it and
that's what happened you got blister yeah he got blistered yeah he got blistered
It was cramping our hands, though.
Well, I mean, I'll say you got the shoulder problem.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That's why my shoulder was sore.
Yeah, because of hair and the...
I got a short trice.
We're not only up.
Baby steps.
Baby steps.
Baby steps.
We dominated in that game.
Yeah, so Ashes of the Damned.
I like the concept of it, right?
Of having these smaller locations that you jump in a car and you go from place to
place.
And when you're jumping in the car, you're kind of going through, like, a tight little corridor
where, like, zombies are getting after you.
And then you have to kind of go around, like, basically what,
our like mines so you're not like blowing up and you know you're going left and right
weave in and then you go to the next location i just that's not the way i want to play zombies
honestly the more i thought about and that we're actually in there of like okay well i want the
juggernaug but i can't afford it but i need to keep on moving so now i'm going to hop in the
alleyway avoid some stuff i'm stuck here now not to hop in the car go back and get juggernaug
it just that's not the way that i want to be able to just run to any p oi i don't want to have to
jump in a car and have to figure that location out i i can you bring up the
Gameplay one more time for this, Barrett, if you have a chance.
Because I'm having trouble visualizing what you're describing.
Like, is it...
Think of eight zombie maps.
Right.
Normal zombie maps.
Like, just a giant square, we'll call it.
Now, imagine them being connected in a...
An eight logo, the infinity logo, right?
Okay.
And so in between each one of those locations are like these passageways that you drive the car through.
So we'll go from point A to point B, and it's a different map, right?
we'll do X, Y, and Z to turn on power,
grab different power-ups, different gumballs,
and then we'll get back in the car, go to point C, right?
In that point C, there's different things going on in the map as well.
So did you feel that it felt a little too disconnected
and ruined the momentum or rhythm of it?
For me personally, a little bit.
Yeah, I, there is going to be an update, Mike,
am I right about this of like that each of these little areas
are going to have like kind of the robust, like,
they're full build out.
They're going to fully build it out so you can get jugger,
and I can get it all.
You can just play in that one little area.
Um, but that's going to be later on down the line.
The way that it is right now, yeah, I just felt a little disconnected, not really the vibe.
And also the driving stuff didn't interest me.
It wasn't like, I'm driving around.
I'm like, oh, wow, there's something, there's like a secret here or there's something like really challenging gameplay.
No, it's like you just see the bombs and you're going left, right, left right.
The funer, the fun aspect of it was you and me, you know, sharing a controller trying to fucking frantically do this.
But if I'm playing that by myself, that's not really what I'm looking for.
And you already mentioned, like, you couldn't, Roger didn't want you use keyboard mouse.
so that you were playing, everybody was playing on PCs?
Yes, everyone.
We were all on PCs, yep.
Okay, gotcha.
I know that a lot of these preview events can get really,
iffy with you getting in the Duffy and getting in the settings and tuning shit.
Was it kind of blocked off in ways for you when you go to the settings?
We spend zero time in the set.
Okay.
I'm sure others win in there, maybe change their, you know.
Hotkeys or whatever.
Yeah, or their field of view.
No, me and Roger just played the game.
Yeah, we went, the sensitivity was there.
We made the sure that was a little bit up.
But, yeah, other than that, we just kind of let it rock.
It seemed like it was pretty open, though.
Okay.
They didn't kind of stop us to do any of that.
Any special sort of weapons in zombies that were, like, any brand new things that you noticed?
I didn't notice.
I didn't notice much.
Did you notice anything?
I'm not necessarily, I haven't played zombies in a minute, so this is me kind of jumping back after Blackup Six was the last time I played, but I only played for like a night.
So I didn't notice anything too crazy.
But everything you expect, like the pack-a-punch machines.
You're going to get it.
I saw people with ray guns.
Yeah, it's exactly what you expect.
Okay.
Yeah.
You mentioned 18 new weapons.
Is there anything that might tickle my fancy, Mike?
Snipers were nasty.
Marksmen.
A lot of people really like the snipers.
I like the old school assault rifle coming back.
I don't know what off the top of my head.
Is the car back?
No, the car's not back.
I don't think on that one.
I think that's a modern warfare weapon.
It's a bummer.
We're on black ops here.
Of course we are.
I believe that.
black operative
that makes it sound like I'm talking about
a basketball
you know what I mean though
I think anybody should be able to get a car 98
you know I agree
I agree that's fucking bold
regardless of
regardless of the background
regardless of the race of the person
I was trying to say like why can't a black
ops person get a fucking car
you think operative was like oh
well you know
yeah
it's a silly word

Kind of Funny.com slash store.
Nick Scarpeon.
Andy, I may.
Thank you.
Now, we're going to get into story time.
And this is going to get, I imagine, contentious.
And I'm going to say the reason why I imagine this.
And I don't want either the defendant or the other defendants to talk right now.
Okay.
But I want to go back a couple months, if you remember Andy.
To when Mike first got the invite to go to Cod next.
And it almost tore their friendship apart brick by brick.
because Mike was like, oh, we'll just get Roger to come with.
And then Mike didn't either pitch Activision prop.
Nope.
Put your hand down.
Nope.
Put your hand down.
Put your hand down right now.
Okay.
Tells Roger, Roger, this is going to be the play.
This is what we're going to do.
This is going to be fantastic.
And Roger goes, did you actually run this by Activision?
And he's like, absolutely not.
You're just going to show up and we're going to have fun.
That's not.
I don't believe that.
I would like to as well.
Judge Andy, Judge it.
Give me the details.
Nick Scarpino.
please of, you know,
I rest my case.
Yeah, rest your case.
Selfless, okay?
An unselfish lover.
Of course.
Snowmike Mike gets the big invite
to come back to Kod Next.
You know it's my favorite event of the year.
I'm so excited.
And I said, you know, last year I had a ton of fun.
But this year it would be really elevated
and be better if I brought a team member with me
and we could be able to share these stories together.
We could do fun social videos.
And I know Roger posts me.
He said, I really want to go to Kod next.
And I said,
Roger, I'm going to go out there and I'm going to stand up in the middle of a kind of funny meeting and say,
what if Roger comes with me?
And the whole team clap.
They said, you know what, Mike?
I'm not mad at that.
And I said, thank you, Greg.
I'm going to send the email to Activision.
Let's see what they do.
You did?
So I brought Rogers to my desk.
I say, here's the plan.
And so we wrote up this thing.
We said Roger was going to be there.
He'll be filming.
He'll be talking call a duty with me on a podcast.
We think that this would be the best sell.
And they came back and they said, that sounds great.
but you get to share one station.
And no.
And then the.
Can I object?
I'm making it clear.
You heard it.
You're very close.
You heard unselfish lover.
He's an unselfish lover.
You're very close.
You're very close.
And I will agree with 90,
maybe 5% of what you just said.
All that is true.
Wow.
That is true.
That is crossing the island.
It was beautiful.
It was beautiful.
That is.
But what actually happened was we had to kind of create our pitch to Activision,
what that's going to look like, right?
So Mike and I were kind of figuring it out.
Mike was like, maybe you just say that you're the cameraman, but I'm like, yeah, but like
they don't usually, you know, invite cameramen.
So I was like, I talk call of duty.
I review the Call of Duty games every year.
Let's just say like, hey, let's share a station and then we can play the game together.
Oh, yeah, breaks.
Now here's, we can take break.
We're the saltiness.
Yes, exactly.
So then I said, hey, Mike, would you be okay if I pitch to them that we will switch on
and off and we will play a game here and there?
and we will kind of take breaks and we'll take turns.
That's the line.
That's the line in the sand.
He stepped over it.
He stepped over it.
He stepped over it.
How much Mike?
You give him an inch and he's taken an entire mile.
That's his generation right there.
That's the generation.
And then would you,
I said,
would you be okay with that, Mike?
And then Andy,
what did Mike say?
The response was,
what did I say to him?
I'll be honest with you, Roger.
I'm not okay with that,
but I'll do it.
No.
That's called being truthful.
Mike you wanted.
I was honest.
You're the best Mike.
No, the best, it's a little bit.
I'll agree with you 95% a little off.
He said, I said, would you okay with that?
He said, I'll be honest.
No.
Respect, by the way.
You got to respect the mic.
Honesty.
But I'll do anything.
I'll do anything.
I'll do anything for you, I said.
And then the friendship was gone for that day.
Yep.
Because they ended up going to Starbucks later.
I remember the conversation kept on going.
and then Roger's looking at Mike and Mike's like,
look, I'm fine with it.
I don't know.
And at one point, Roger goes,
you're pissing me off right now.
He walked away.
I'm out here giving up my station to Roger,
and he's treating me like,
selfish lover.
Selfish love.
Well, the issue wasn't that you weren't enthusiastic about it, right?
It was just that I know you,
and I know that you're going to get uptight about this.
The court sees that you're selfish lover.
Oh, okay, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, that's great.
So then, yeah, we figured it out.
We're good.
He says yes.
We say yes.
We're about to have the time of our lives.
We have the time of our life.
And then we came in with a few kind of pre-event ideas.
Mike was coming in with a lot of kind of ideas.
He was like, maybe we do this, maybe we do that.
What were the like the main three?
Yeah, let me pitch to you what I've always dreamt of kind of funny,
having an experience of a lifetime with.
We've been to Vegas before.
We've gone to the sphere.
We've done top golf with Sonic.
It's been a great time.
But I've always said that I want one fun night of drinking and dancing with the kind of funny crew.
Give me one night.
where everybody says yes, Mike.
We will leave at 9 o'clock.
We'll go have a late dinner.
At 11 o'clock, we will show up at the Omni,
and we will dance the night away with two margaritas and ham.
Say yes to adventure.
And I said, just give me one.
You want all of us to just come dancing with you.
One night.
Everybody.
And so I pitched, I pitched Roger.
I said Steve Aoki will be in town.
Yes.
The Womp-Womp.
Let's go dance the night away with Womp-Wamp with Steve Aoki.
I buy the tickets right now.
now, let's do this. Roger
immediately shuts that down.
Wants nothing to do on the late night.
All he wants to do is go to the hotel room,
fall asleep, call on the night.
And so I say, okay, I'll get us Halloween horror nights
tickets. That's another option.
And then we'll eat big, be big at all the fun resorts.
I didn't want...
Your rebuttal, Roger.
My rebuttal.
My rebuttal is that I wanted to go out.
I wanted to do everything. Mike was just pitching the ideas
that were each 250.
$50 a piece.
And then he was like, don't worry.
Don't worry about it.
I'll pay for it all.
I'm like, no, that's not how that works.
Here's a line.
I'm down.
And Mike,
the polar opposites.
Mike,
down to spend it and have a good time.
The experience of a lifetime to have fun.
Roger,
very financially savvy.
He's saving his money.
Totally get it.
But when you're in Vegas,
but you live your life like in Vegas at all times.
If you're in Vegas,
you have to have fun.
You do.
We can't like,
we get with the ideas.
What would do?
Universal.
Same restaurant twice.
Okay.
Well, that's not on me.
what did we do
Mike was literally coming up with
no ideas he was looking at me
I wanted to go to the Bellagio
I wanted to go to see the talent
didn't pitch any of these when we're in there
by the way doesn't say any of that
save barb
shut the fuck up
because we'll get
Judge sees it
because we'll get to that day
of you just completely
just going nonverbal
he's going nonverbal
in the corner
not saying a word to anybody
but uh so we had
see it have like
yeah exactly
so we had those ideas
we're like okay
Universal Horror Nights, for sure.
I want to go to the Meow Wolf
Omega Mart.
I've heard a good things about
Meow Wolf and everything they did.
Awesome.
Fucking for sure.
Steve Aoki, we tried.
We're thinking about it.
It wasn't working with our schedule.
Mike was sad about it.
We couldn't see CVOKE.
So again, let's start with the day one.
Not yet, at least.
Not yet, at least.
Day one.
We're supposed to meet at the studio
at 11 AM, right?
So let me just tell you my point of view, right?
This studio.
Yeah, this studio.
We're going to go take an Uber
and then go to the airport together.
our flights at noon, I think, or something like that.
So I had this beautiful morning, right, with my fiancee.
We go, we go have some Starbucks.
I'm like looking at her.
I'm like, man, I love you.
I'm going to miss you.
I'm going to be a long week.
It's going to be a fun week.
But, man, I'm so happy we can connect this moment.
I'm just listening to like fucking Sarah Barales with my windows down, drive into the studio.
I'm so excited to see Mike.
I'm like, fuck yeah.
And before that, I was thinking about it.
I was like, I'm at Starbucks.
I don't need to get anything for a bike because he probably already figured it out, right?
Should I text them?
I'm near targets.
Maybe he forgot some toiletries.
Nah, he's an adult.
He'll be fun.
I pull up to the studio.
He's in the backseat of his car in the parking lot with his feet out the window watching
TikToks.
Relaxing.
Relaxing.
Because I'm there on time.
I'm early.
No.
Prepared.
Okay.
If you're not 15 minutes early, you're late.
You're not on time.
Okay, sure.
Fine.
So you're there.
You're there early, right?
And I'm like, hey, man, how are you doing sloppy?
He's half asleep, right?
He's like, uh, what?
No, no.
I said I have ordered a Starbucks.
I'm very excited.
have Starbucks with you.
He immediately gets pissed that I ordered Starbucks for him.
No, what I got pissed at you was, what did you have in your bag?
What did you bring?
I brought everything that I needed for the trip.
I forgot my headphones.
No.
He's going to say, Mike, you didn't bring toilet trees.
Andy, I have a new move.
I'm not bringing toilet trees anymore because I don't want to bring my dot bag with me.
On a trip like this, I don't a dot bag.
That's that little bag that the basketball players carry around that holds your toilet
trees in there.
Okay.
Also known as the toiletries back.
Yeah.
Oh, that bag is cool.
This is what I wrote.
And so, yeah, DOP.
And so what I decided was, is since we're going to Vegas, I'll just buy him there.
I really don't care.
So you didn't bring it.
Thank you.
And so if you're Roger, who's Mr. Responsible, he's pissed at me for no apparent reason at it.
No.
Why?
I just want to buy a mayor.
Because he looks at me, he says, oh, I didn't bring anything.
I stayed up too late.
I was playing video games all night.
I didn't bring anything.
I have no clothes that I want.
I have three pairs of jeans, though.
That's what he said.
Three pairs of jeans.
Who pairs of jeans?
I have no.
He said, I hate all of my clothes.
I don't like any of them.
I'll buy brand new clothes in Vegas.
I have no deodorants, no toothpaste.
Nothing.
How could you remember that?
This sounds like a solid plan.
This man brought three pairs of jeans and a switch bag, which by the way, he didn't
play the entire fucking trip.
Well, but that's happened.
That's me.
Everybody does that.
You know, if you're, here's the thing, Roger.
You don't understand it, right?
Because when you're really excited for a trip,
I'm really excited for a trip.
Yeah.
Some people prepare and plan and pack a few nights ahead of time.
Yeah, the night before, yeah.
And some people let the excitement just take them like a fucking river.
I just taking them out into sea.
As many of you know, I've gone on a lot of trips this year.
I'm dialed in on my bag.
I had my nice flannel.
I like this flannel.
I had my two one-piece t-shirts.
I had a secondary flannel as well.
I had a bunch of pants.
I was ready to rock and roll.
Yeah.
I just didn't want to bring a toiletry bag,
which broke Rogers' mind.
Mm-hmm.
I don't know what trip it was recently,
but you did this, you were like, yeah, I buy my
deodorant and toothpaste or whatever.
I don't want to carry shampoo one of the time.
Yeah, so then he goes, we go to the-
Oh, you get shampoo.
Well, no, I usually use the hotel,
but like, you know what I'm getting that.
It's like, I don't want the five bottles in the bag.
Here's a fun, Tim.
I'm really good at the back stuff.
Yeah, I don't need the bag.
When we first started traveling for kind of funny,
Tim was so young. God bless him.
He used to bring a full bottle of shampoo.
Oh, my God.
I swear to God.
I swear to God, maybe it was kind of funny, maybe it was IGN.
But I think at some point, I took jugatrice to me.
It was like, per plus.
It was like this big.
I was like, dude, you got to get.
He's getting arrested at TSA.
I was like, you got to get smaller bottles if you want to bring your own shit.
And so then I tell Roger, I say, Roger, when we arrive at the airport, just follow me.
You're going to do the Roger thing where you get all anxious and uptight.
Just follow me.
Why, Andy?
Because, of course, on my ticket, the TSA pre-check, check hadn't turned on yet.
This has happened on my last trip.
All you do is walk over to the TSA pre-check, checking people, and it clicks on just like that.
I tell this to Roger, the world has now meld him.
Right?
He's panicking.
He's freaking out going, no, you got to go to the baggage claim people.
You got to do this a day ahead of time.
I'm like, Roger, I've done this before.
I promise you.
And sure is shit, we pull into the airport.
We walk up to the TSA pre-check people.
And I say, hey, my check hasn't turned on yet.
She literally looks at the phone.
And she goes, oh, it just turned on right then and there.
And I said, thank you.
And we turned around and walked to TSA pre-check.
And Rogers' world was melting 15 minutes before that.
So did you tell them about the Clear versus TSA pre-check debacle?
So they send you upstairs.
So no, no, hold on, hold on, stop, stop, but before this, Mike just, Mike does not understand
two different brands.
He doesn't understand how two different things could be.
They're both on the same name tag.
He doesn't understand it, right?
He doesn't understand that Clear is TSA and TSA
Precheck are like separate things. Different entities.
Different entities. So then he looks at me. He's just like, oh, I got the TSA precheck slap.
He's let's go in the same line, right? He actually has clear, right? So then instead of going to the TSA precheck with me, in the same line with me, he walks, he walks right to the clear line. And then looks at me baffled like he teleported to this line.
Just so you know, there's a flag that says clear and TSA precheck on it. And then over in the corner, there's a TSA precheck entrance.
Yeah.
And so Roger walked over there because that's where you're supposed to go.
I have both because I'm allowed to.
And so I walked right out there.
And that's how I went.
Okay.
So, boom.
So we go through it.
First of all, by the way, my mind was not melting.
It was just more of, he looks at, we're about to leave.
The whole car ride.
No toiletry bag.
Here's the top I got no headphones.
I'm tired of me.
So then we go.
So then we go.
By the way, this is before the fucking pot, the actual trip starts.
So then we go.
And then he does this thing where he's like, I got to go buy all my toilet.
toiletries, right? Instead of buying his toiletries.
When you land? No, at the fucking airport.
At the airport? Yes, that's why I'm mad
because he buys it all at the fucking airport.
Hold up. That's why I'm fucking mad.
I'm not normal.
It's not normal.
Guys, I'm like, we got an hour before we fly.
I'm going to go over here and get my water
like I normally do. And Mike gets and stuff.
And then of course, Roger's over there.
Like, Roger's going to be a great father.
Everybody, look at the. He's a great father.
He starts doing this. He's a cat pump.
I'm like,
get the fuck back.
Quit Wallywley.
Let me,
let me explain.
I think I have the images here of what he bought.
He buys,
he buys three waters.
He buys three waters.
He wouldn't let me buy anything else.
He buys three waters a Pepsi and a payday bar.
And also,
he was going to buy headphones because he was like,
oh,
I forgot my headphones.
I looked at him,
I'm like,
Michael,
I have the Sony over the ear headphones that are beautiful.
I have extra headphones.
I can't.
I'm fucking.
borrow them.
Borrow them.
Like, just wear them on the plane.
I have the wire for you.
You can use it.
You can do that.
He says,
he says,
no,
I'm going to buy $40
headphones instead.
And I was like,
let's rock paper scissors for.
You got some skull candies.
Yeah.
I was going to buy some skull candy.
Let's rock paper scissors for it,
right?
So,
rob paper scissors,
whoever wins gets what their way,
right?
So I beat his ass with paper.
And then that means he can't buy
these headphones,
right?
So he spends $25 on those water,
the water,
the soda.
Free flight water?
Yeah, you gotta stay hydrated.
Not too.
And the Pepsi.
And then as we're walking to the, to the flight, he looks at me, he says, when you
weren't looking, I bought those headphones.
So I got, I got his hands.
He went to the bathroom.
Then I was like, I got to go to the bathroom.
I just walked over to the bookstore.
And then he looks at me, he says, they weren't even charged.
So I can't even use them.
Yeah.
Unfortunately, they were wired.
You're a fucking mess.
Well, he's got to go back to the toilet trees.
Before he got his ass.
You got me, they got me.
Before, before the whole, the whole trip even starts, he's, he's like, he's like
one 25 in the hole with Starbucks with everything.
He's one 25.
He didn't even eat the Starbucks.
I bought him.
I didn't want it.
You never asked me.
I had some bucks before.
You got him food?
Yeah.
No, he didn't.
He bought the bagel for himself and the bagel was still partially frozen.
Almost ripped my teeth out.
Oh, no.
Don't eat that.
Don't eat that.
We should be calling Starbucks.
Well, that one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So then we get on the flight and then, yeah.
Oh, so can we take them on really fast?
I ordered DoorDash before this podcast from Starbucks.
They somehow got the Starbucks out in Pacifica to make the drink.
Pacifica is about 15 miles the opportunity.
Is it delivering it to your house?
Fucking line that.
Is it delivering it to your house?
No, it's delivering here.
And somehow the guy did it.
Wow.
Good for him.
Wow.
That's amazing.
Damn, we have so much to go through.
So then we actually get.
get to the hotel and everything.
We get to the W.
It's beautiful.
Wait, sorry,
just can we go back for one second?
I know we're getting along on this.
Yes.
I just have to clarify,
did Mike buy the toiletries at the airport?
No, he buys it at the hotel,
which is even more expensive.
But that makes at least more sense for what you're trying to accomplish,
which is that you just don't want to carry this.
Yeah, I don't want to carry that stuff around.
I get it.
Yeah, but three water bottles, though.
Well, I drank one water bottle before.
One water bottle on the plane.
Then now I have one water bottle for the car drive.
As Mike's advocate.
You got to stay hydrated.
I always ever forgetting one thing of toiletries.
sorry. I always like, will Uber eats or
door dash a little
fucking travel hairspray or something, you know.
As Mike's advocate as well, it is important
to stay hydrated. Train,
like a plane flight dehydrates you.
They give you water though for free. Yeah, but they give you
stupid little water. And you can also
like, and also SFO has filtered
water bottle station. They do have that.
Which you can just bring a water bottle. But that's
asking a lot of them. Yeah, I don't
understand that. So what I do, just see you guys
know, is I'll go support my local
small business, SFO. Yes.
The airport, the Hudson Dues.
You know, they're out there.
They're struggling.
Who's going to keep them alive?
I'll buy the water in the tin, and then I'll drink, I'll drink it, refill it,
drink it, refill it, drink it, refill it.
But I understand that Mike is, he's part of the hydration nation.
He's got to have three.
And I'll give you a pass on that, Mike.
Thank you.
The headphones, inexcusable.
Inexcusable.
Headphones really fucked up because they looked wired.
They were wireless.
That wouldn't hurt me.
I'm sure it's said on the thing.
There's a lot of words.
So many words.
We don't read, Andy.
We're not a reading household here.
I didn't start doing tutorials.
This is like last week.
So we get to the event, the hotel,
and they have kind of a streamer lounge,
like a players lounge.
They gave us swag bags.
They had streamer stations.
I want to talk about...
In the hotel?
In the hotel.
Yeah.
In the hotel.
What was this?
The W.
Oh, I like that.
W by Manilae Bay.
It was beautiful.
It was beautiful.
They did a great job taking over one of the kind of
lounge areas and set it up into a full-on players' lounge.
Yeah.
Streaming stations.
monster energy drinks,
a little swag bag gift stuff.
And then the checking of like,
hey, this is what your day is going to look like.
Here's what tomorrow looks like.
They're cool robots from the game.
Yeah.
And they also had a robot making Boba and cold brew.
And I think I have video of this bear.
Let me know if I don't.
Was there at one point a dispute of you're going to say at that hotel?
I'm going to stay over here.
Yes, there was a little bit of a fear there.
Because we thought that, well, Mike thought that there was,
they were staying at the Luxor.
And when I got my message that I was going,
going to the W, he said, oh, if I'm going to the locksore, we will be switching.
We are going to be switching.
I mean, it is his script that you're competing on.
So they have this robot that's making boba and cold brew, and I've never seen a stupid or fucking robot.
I can't take this robot.
This robot sucks because it makes the boba, right?
And it sets it down right here, right?
It takes a while to set it down.
And then I saw when it started making the next drink, one of the robot handlers,
frantically walking up to somebody and saying,
you got to move those drinks.
Because if you don't,
that robot's just going to stack it
right on top of the other drink.
So we had to have people moving the drinks
and then also somebody setting up the boba into the...
Like, this thing was just doing ice
and then putting it underneath something
and then putting it out.
You got to be aware.
He just doesn't get the precision
that this robot has been input into.
They're freaking out.
They're moving.
You know, he's got a quadrant that he's got to drop this.
It's like Tom Brady throwing a touchdown.
Yeah.
It's like, you gotta be there.
Yeah, they had two people that were handling the robot situation.
They could have had just one person making all the drinks.
Like, it would have been totally fun.
This is why when we started talking about AI, I'm like, I'm not worried.
Yeah, I'm not worried about it.
Shit in the world.
Yeah, and the boba, boba was fine.
Did you like boba?
Oh, I drank a lot of boba.
Yeah.
Nice.
Yeah, but of course, you know, you're preaching to the choir here with Mike, because Mike
likes that boba tea.
Yeah, he likes anything that sweet and milky and bad for his stomach.
Love.
So we then grow to, Mike and I, we hit the town.
and we have a free night.
So we go to the worst
weed shop ever.
Mike does the insane...
Oh, yeah.
Fucking Greg hit us with the DARE.
Oh, yeah.
Greg hit us with the DARE pledge
and the text messages.
And he was like, you better not be doing drugs.
And I said, fucking throwing that away.
So we go to the world's largest weed dispensary.
This place fucking sucked.
This place sucks.
It sucked.
It was like, it was just all one.
You wait in line and then it's just a bunch of a row
of shelving units behind there.
It wasn't no, like, you know, it wasn't nice.
It wasn't, it didn't look good.
It wasn't like, oh, wow, here's like, you know, all the things you can look through.
No, it's just a bunch of wire racks.
So we get that.
And then Mike does the freak.
Because we wanted some edibles because we're about to go to Universal Studios.
He does the freak because he's like, you know what?
I just want to get the fuck out of here.
So I'm just going to tell him, I want whatever you got.
Just give it to me.
Just give it to me.
And then, of course, I do the responsible thing.
I'm the person that when I, I don't, shut up.
I'm going to object to this.
When I go to, I'm not like,
Snowbug Mike. I don't like talking to people much. I'm not like fucking like personable,
but there's one place that I'm personable and that's at a weed store. I look at them and I say,
hey man, this is what I'm looking for like what's the vibe. Yeah, exactly. I want five milligrams,
no more than this. I want two to one ratio CBD like I'm like that. I like talking to
Mike clams up. He does not want any of that. He just wants the interaction to be over. So then
he just looked at them and says, give me whatever mince you got. And they said, we don't got any
mince, but we have these little edibles right here. Right. And he says, yeah, I'll take that.
And before I did that, I said, no, no, no, Mike.
How many milligrams are in those edibles?
And they said, the worker says, well, I don't know.
And then Mike says, he didn't know.
That's fine.
That's fine. That's fine.
And then he swipes the card.
He swipes the card.
It's a reasonable price.
There's no issues with that.
There's no issues with that with the price rate.
He buys it, right?
Walks outside.
We do the math, 20 milligrams per edible.
That's way too much.
That's way too much for Mike and I specifically.
Roger.
And I understand.
Andy, you'll understand this.
This is a generational thing.
Mike's a little older.
He's closer to my age than he is.
Been around the block.
There's no point in doing drugs.
If you know the exact
milligal ratio.
We're not doing science here.
The whole point of doing drugs is
maybe it's going to be fun.
Maybe it cooks your fucking brain.
You can't do math.
Maybe I lay down.
Okay.
He didn't, Mike didn't go take you to Vegas
so that you guys could have a pre-planned
just like boring
paint by fucking number as adventure.
Okay. Let the man take so much fucking weed that he's high for a week.
He's like one of those dogs is he going to tick that.
Oh, my dog got into my edible.
He's there for work.
We're about to go to Universal Horror Night, by the way.
So that's in my brain.
To set the stage, Roger was in.
He's like, oh, I'm just going to get a little vape pan and it will be a great time.
And then in my mind, I was like, this is taking so long, right?
We're in this hot weed shop.
the guys and gals behind the counter are so slow
that I was like I'm just going to walk up there and be like
give us the two vape pens and we're out of here
to get us out of this awful situation
we get two feet away Roger goes I don't want it anymore
I don't want this and I'm like all right well then now I got to go get the mince
so I'd just say get the mints let's get it rolling let's get it moving
Roger not happy about any of this yeah I don't and guess what
you got to ask the milligrant any of the mints no I just literally threw
them away like 20 minutes later I think it was shit you know
So we're now at, what, negative 200?
I'm a sober Gibroni.
I don't give a shit.
I was halfway expecting the headphones be thrown in the trash.
They were in charge.
Yeah, the flight back home, he didn't even charge them.
I love the United Blue headphones all time.
Those got left at the hotel.
Those are not here.
So then we go to Halloween Horror Nights.
Mike is then uptight at me because, but by the way, I didn't want to take the edible
because I'm about to go to Halloween Horror Nights.
It's terrifying.
I might have a panic attack.
So I was like trying to protect myself.
And also when we got there, I was like, I don't want to drink because I want to protect myself because I'm going to be a little scared.
I don't want to be too sloppy or anything.
I don't want to do anything to that.
So we get there.
Mike immediately orders a double margarita.
$40.
$40.
Let's have fun.
Let's get this going.
Roger immediately says, no, I don't want to.
He gets legitimately uptight of me because I don't want to double margarine.
By myself at this point.
So then we go through the Halloween horror nights.
We did Texas chainsaw.
We live streamed a little bit of that.
Yeah.
Overcame your fear?
Overcame my fear.
on Texan saw.
I'll tell you what,
this was one of the best parts.
We had so much fun at Halloween horn nights.
Laughing, screaming.
I had another margarita before
the Exorcism.
Oh, we got to talk about the Exorcism.
So I want to,
the Exorcist is,
we went through that one.
That one was scary as fuck.
That's another haunted house?
Yeah, so we have the,
takes of chainsaw,
Exorcism,
scarecrow,
which is like a generic scarecrow type deal,
and then Universal Monsters.
So this is, yeah, this is Texas Chainslaw.
I thought they only did this should in L.A.
They do it in L.A. in Orlando, but this year they have a pop-up in Vegas.
It's really cool.
If you can't go. So, yeah, it's at Area 15 where Miao Wolf is as well.
They got this big compound of all these cool different exhibits and things that you can do off the strip.
And so, yeah, I told Rogers that we have to go to this.
This is cool.
I'm not going to L.A. or Orlando.
L.A. right now has fallout, which would be a ton of fun.
Ooh, cool.
So me and Roger went to this.
I would love to play.
to just scream at about
150 with the audio on
if possible.
And everybody,
there's a little bit
of flashing lights
so be warned.
But this is,
oh yeah,
with the audio on
if we can hear that part.
Oh yeah,
we got to play this back.
Because it's so funny.
And the entire time
it's like that.
Keep it on.
Keep it on.
I want to see what happens.
I don't think
you should be doing this
with your heart issues.
Like,
we're talking about that
in a minute.
Whoa,
this is crazy.
I don't know how you have the time of your life, Rod.
I know I had the time of my life.
It was so fun.
So it goes on like that the entire time.
You can't be an employee there and not like break on the laughter.
I think at the very ending of this, like he like...
This mountain of a man screaming like a child.
He gets so scared that he jumps back and then decks me.
And then like I turned off like my recording by accident because he fucking hit me so hard.
Yeah.
We had an amazing time there.
That was super fun.
Yeah, he had to sit down afterwards because it was like your heart was racing.
Yeah, I had the margarita at first.
You should have the heartbeat monitor.
No problem.
Got another margarita when we went through the exorcism, which was the scariest one.
I did look at Roger and go, I have to sit down.
I'm going to have a heart problem.
And so he sat down for a little bit.
You didn't wake up with any like irregular heartbeat?
No, no, but I was feeling it.
I was feeling it.
And then we were in Scarecrow,
and I got really scared of the dark.
Then I said,
Roger,
I can't see you go first.
This is it.
This girl,
that was crazy.
BG with a $5 super chat says Universal Vegas is not a pop-up.
It's permanent.
They're opening one in downtown Chicago next.
Oh,
yeah.
That's why I started off the video with.
It's me zooming in on the irregular heartbeat thing.
It's like,
don't go in here if you have any...
This is how I started.
it off. Basically, it's like everything Mike has.
Don't do this if you have everything.
It's just a picture of Mike.
Don't do this. Yeah, Mike and I, then we hit
the roulette tables. Oof, that was
a big bonding. So wait, let's talk. Can I ask
you guys a question? At what point did you
each individually start texting me?
That's not until day two.
Yeah. Yeah, so day one,
Roger wasn't fully into the Vegas yet.
He had to warm up.
And this is when he finally opened
up. Because day one, it
was, I don't want to go out and he
somewhere expensive. You know, Halloween
Horror Nights, fine, Mike.
I don't want to drink. I don't want a weed pen.
So it's just like, it's a lot of like, a lot of nose in Vegas right now.
That I'm getting built up on. And I'm like, are we riding a diet or not?
You know, bad boys for life, let's ride.
Then we get to the roulette table and something clicks for Roger.
All of a-gambling addiction.
Roger goes, I don't want to gamble. I won't put any money down.
So I put $100 down.
Then put $25 table limits on the minimum.
And so $25 table limits?
Yeah, $25.
You know what?
At nighttime.
It's 15 in the morning.
10 and 15 in the morning.
And so now because Roger didn't put any money down and won't do it, I'm the only one that's allowed to touch the chips.
We get quickly yelled at when I go, here you bet.
Roger tries to say that.
He goes, you can't touch that.
You didn't give any money.
I'm like, okay, well, that's great.
So now we play and it starts to cook.
I look at Roger.
We're playing the inside.
We're playing the numbers.
And I go, give me your favorite number.
I put on Black 22.
We're going four for Lienza.
We're going 6, 9 over on that.
Because who doesn't love 6 and 9, right?
We all love that.
We're betting.
And we start hitting.
We all of a sudden, we start to hit.
We hit black 4.
We had Black 2.
We had 6 and 9.
We're now the 100.
We're not even splitting numbers, by the way.
We're just fucking hidden numbers.
The 100 is now $300.
And Roger has lit up.
Now I get Roger Hagan.
Where Roger is actively excited.
And I got free drinks, well, come on.
Like, that's my, that's my dream.
They come around with the free drinks.
It's like, this is where I want to be.
So it only took about seven hours to get here.
But I finally now have Roger Rowland.
Yeah.
And we proceed to, it's us, it's this lady with her husband,
and a couple of other people that come and go,
and we're pounding the table.
We are getting after it and we're up.
Yeah.
I mean, first night, we're up right now.
When we walk away, that 100 is now $400 in my pocket.
Yeah.
And we called it.
Yeah.
Well, we didn't call it night.
We went up to the skyline,
the sky fall i think it's called what they call it they're the top of the w has like this
beautiful lookout so we hung out there we streamed we were very drunk uh yeah we streamed on mike channel
and that was that was a really nice time a really nice look but they it's just a weird vibe it's like
it's like a swanky nice like kind of upscale vibe and then you just have some white dj
in the corner blasted not like us like a censored version of not like us it's like what is
what is the vibe that is the vagus that is the vagus that is the vagus you guys are lucky you didn't
have to stay the lux war that hotel's like yeah we got we went to the luck
trashy as we walked over there.
$5 super job from Brice to Brant says,
I need a whole show of going through Mike's receipts.
Hashtack the card.
Oh, I have photos of them all.
Yeah, Roger would come home with me and take photos of it.
Yeah.
Then we had day two,
which is the actual first official day
where we went to the Polaris events.
Yeah.
Yeah, we then, yeah, we drove around these cards.
Mike, you want to tell him about Polaris?
Yeah, Roger refused to go to the Raider game with me.
Try to convince him to go to a Raider game.
It's not what he asked you.
It is not.
It is not football?
Football.
Well, there was a game Sunday.
Oh.
It was pretty amazing.
We got to see a Legion stadium.
It was packed.
When you're out of town, you got to be down a clown, you know.
No.
We were driving, we were off-roading.
We had a scheduled event that we agreed to, which was off-roading.
And then Mike's like, what if we just ditch it and go to the Raiders game?
I'm like, no.
I said, if we're in the early morning, we're going to the Raiders game, Roger quickly
shut it down.
Thankfully, we're at the one o'clock, same time as kickoff, so we didn't get to go.
Roger got his way.
This whole trip was about Robert.
Roger getting his way.
Actually, I thought this whole
shirt was about you guys playing the new call of
Yeah.
And that would have got his way.
We played the new caller.
And so we teamed up with Polaris again,
Call Duty,
and Polaris are back again for another awesome
Razor ride,
which I did last year out in Virginia.
Of course, you know that the razor
is in the game.
So the Polaris Razor is the car
that we drive around.
They've now got the new upgraded razor
in the game.
We're out in the deserts of Nevada.
and we are just ripping.
This looks so fun.
Yeah, this is me, Mike.
Yeah, Tyler, Tyler's in the chat right now.
What up from IGN?
And of course, Seth Macy, who I met for the first time.
He's awesome.
He's sick as fuck.
And I told everyone, I said, go as fast as you possibly can.
And we went 15 miles.
No, why would you do that?
Why are you so mean?
No, I didn't.
Why are you like that?
No, I didn't.
That's not true at all.
A booboo!
That's not, also, it's not me driving.
This is Tyler.
That's someone else's La-Boo-Boo.
Yeah, we have multiple.
Everyone got Lubbubu.
Oh, that's so cool.
No, I, we, oh, no, don't spoil this.
No, go back, go back, go back, go back, don't spoil that.
But yeah, we drove, and it was fun.
It was a really good time, and it was like, I've never driven something.
I'm so used to the 2007, you know, Toyota Yaris, right?
Chase a little bit, you know what I mean?
It's not very, not very precise.
It always feels like you're off-off.
Yeah, exactly.
So it was nothing new here.
But, man, this thing just felt so good when you're driving.
You're taking those tight turn corners.
You're going, you're going 25-30, off-roading.
Like, it just feels like a,
video game the entire time. It was a
lifetime, once in a lifetime experience.
It was a really great time. It was experience of a lifetime.
It was really, really fun. It was awesome.
Well coordinated. Everybody was out there smiling.
We got to stop the Polaris switch out.
We had a, we did a call. We did a load out call drop, so we had smoke flares going off in the desert.
It was pretty sick.
And then, yeah, we went back to the gambling.
We hit the roulette. We did lose it all.
Yeah, this was day two.
This was day too.
saying yes. So Roger
now is ready to party.
Mike has already parted. So we're on
two different wavelengths. Ah. Okay.
He's on the come up. You're on the come down.
So I'm on the come down. So I'm like,
yeah, go for it. Mike has been what starts to
come down here and then it just down
the entire rest of the trip. Roger
and I are gambling once again.
blew up his heart and that's scary on it.
We're having fun.
Roger is understanding
the free drinks as well, which is great.
It's huge. The cocktail waitress hasn't come by.
yet. Roger says, I got to go get a drink. So he goes
to the bar to buy drinks. What happens? Cocktail wait just shows up
two seconds later, of course. So Roger's now in for like $80 on two margaritas.
Crazy. Two margaritas, $80. They were double margaritas.
Here's what I'm going to say, though. Now, the free drink, you know, you understand the free
drink concept. I mean, they want us to get drunk and spend all our money. And they give you
shit drinks. Honestly. Roger liked the drink. They were good. So you're smart. I'm just
saying you're smart for ordering beers. Because they can't
water down on Modelo.
Yeah.
But when you get like a jack and Coke or a jack and diet or whatever, you get like,
you're like, there's no alcohol.
I mean,
well, he was getting margarita.
I was getting,
I got a margarita.
That's why you got to go up and order.
Yeah,
I got a margarita there.
I got a margarita there.
I got a lot of shit and the gun just like spits out exactly the amount
of alcohol is supposed to have.
Yeah.
Long gone of the days where you could grease the bartender a little bit and he just
get you fucking.
Yeah.
So during this day,
we're fighting.
We're up the whole time.
We're still in it.
We're just fine.
But then there's a moment when I,
I know it's going to shift.
Fighting.
Fighting the stay up.
Okay.
We're up.
We're not fighting each other.
We're fighting to stay up.
We're locked in me and back.
This is when you guys start texting.
We're locked in.
No,
it's about 30 minutes from then.
Yeah.
It seems like we were fighting each other
the entire trip.
No,
we were chilling the entire trip.
Yeah.
It was awesome.
Yeah.
It was a great time.
It was all of the moments that we had
that he would just smile and laugh and I would see it in his eyes.
I'm like, you're going to be mean to me on this podcast.
That's what that's what's going to be mean to me later.
You're here to make content.
Yeah, Mike will notice every single thing.
Mike disliked that.
Mike didn't say anything about anything and then he's like, I'm waiting for this moment.
He's like, no, sloppy, I would never do that.
We're fighting.
And I know that the tides are about the shift because they've done a shift change in the middle.
Our guy goes on break.
The hot hand goes on break and you know the rules.
If the dealer switches, you're going to have a bad time.
It's time to pick up.
They switch on purpose.
At this moment, Roger has ordered a drink from the cocktail waitress.
I need to go to the bathroom really bad.
So I'm like, this would now be the perfect moment to stand up and not do this.
But Rogers waiting on a drink.
So what we'll do is we'll just wait on the drink to return.
Well, that took about 40 minutes.
Yeah, then I'm dumb.
And by the time she came back, we lost it all.
Yep.
We lost everything.
Well, I will say, not to throw you into the bus too much, but also we were losing.
We're on a slow decline, right?
Which I'm fine with, right?
I'm like, okay, at least we're having fun.
We're playing, right?
Mike decides right at the,
like we have like maybe 50 bucks left.
The middle of us putting down a hand,
he just says,
ah,
25 on black real quick.
Just immediately just fucks us up.
And we lose it immediately.
So now we just doubled the,
we just,
yeah,
the decline is now sharper.
So we lose it all pretty fast.
And so at this moment,
just so you all are aware,
before we started gambling,
I wanted to go out to dinner.
Roger,
of course,
not hungry at that time.
It was just going to be Mike.
Because they had food there.
I just want to go back to the same restaurant.
You went to before?
We'll talk about that another time.
We'll talk about that.
There's a lot more.
So I was like, let's just go down there.
We go down to the steak's house there.
Smells awful.
Oh, like shit.
There's a smell coming from the Mandalay Bay Aquarium
plus the walkway to the T-Mobile arena into their food,
their fine dining restaurant hallway.
That is, you could not miss.
And somehow they're like 40 people sitting there eating.
And you're like, do you not smell what we're all smelling?
Yeah.
So Roger was like, let's go.
And I was like, that's fine.
Let's go.
So I hadn't eaten at all.
And so now it's 1130.
Nothing is open, but the Luxor food courts,
where we proceed to walk across the walkway and we go to the Luxor food courts.
Can I tell the story, please?
Now, this is my point of view.
And then you can get pointed.
I will fill in the blanks because at this point, Roger's feeling himself.
Yeah, I'm drunk.
He's having a good time.
I'm drunk.
We talked about how I am not.
usually snowback Mike when it comes to social interactions.
But I actually left that one thing.
So I'm like that when it comes to weed stores.
And I'm like that when I'm drunk ordering food next to people.
Yes.
I love talking to people about what they're going to get.
What they're going to get?
What are you going to get?
So Mike, no, I'm not going to be talking to Mike.
I'm talking to random people.
No, I know.
You're like me.
When I get drunk, I want to be best friends with everybody.
Everybody.
So I'm sitting, so then Mike already orders.
He got a pizza.
And I was like, yeah, I'll get a slice.
No, no.
I took us to a pizza place.
You didn't want any pizza.
I said, I'm getting us two slices of pizza.
You said, fine.
Yeah, let's do that.
I was like, I'll get you anything.
A stromboli.
I'll get you a slice of pizza.
What did you say?
What's a stromboli?
No, no.
There's a drunk man looking at him.
I go, a stromboli, and the drunk guy looks at him and goes, oh, stromboli, man.
He starts telling Roger all about what his tromboli is.
And Roger's nod in his head and excitement.
This guy was locked into stromboli.
He was like, you got to try a stromboli.
I'm like, what is a stromboli?
And he said, well, it's like a pizza, but it's like a pizza, but
in like a pocket form.
And I want to look at him and be like,
isn't that just a calzone?
But then he just kind of kept on expanding upon how important it was
because then you get the sauce on the side.
Different.
And he really wanted,
he really likes the sauce.
So he's like,
you got to put the sauce on top of the stromboli.
I was like,
that's crazy.
I'm going to get this pizza,
but like,
thanks for letting me know about that,
right?
So then Mike and I,
we eat our food.
Mike's like,
thanks Mike,
buy the pizza,
you know,
okay, I mean,
I took a photo.
Unselfish lover.
Unselfish.
Always.
We eat the food.
He gets up.
I got to use the bathroom.
Like, okay, he goes to the bathroom.
And I'm throwing away our stuff.
And then I see the stromboli guy.
The guy that ordered the stromboli.
Mr.
Stromboli.
I walk over.
Hey, that's Tony Strumbole.
No.
There's a lot of time before that.
What?
So here's how we finished our food.
I said, I'm going to go throw this away.
I'm going to grab a napkin.
Let's leave.
And so I proceed to walk to the trash can, walk to the exit,
where Roger should be moving at this point.
I think you're going to go to the bathroom.
Roger is locked in.
Roger's looking at his phone.
he's looking at the bright lights for like five plus minutes.
I'm taking photos of Roger from across the lobby and sending it to him to let him know,
like, it's time to go.
These are the photos I'm sending Roger, right?
And so then out of nowhere, he starts to walk.
And I go, where could he possibly be walking?
Now let me pick up.
Let me pick up him, I think.
So I see the stromboli guy.
And I'm like, hey, man, how was it?
Like, I want to know, like, because he was like, I'm excited about the stramboy.
He's like, man, it was really good.
And I see on his plate, he has cut the stromboli in half, right?
he cut the stromboli half he ate one half
he was like
get in here you want you want
you want to bite it
and I was like
fuck yeah I'll take a bite of the stromboli right now
I pick it up he's like you gotta add some sauce on that
I was like fuck yeah I take it but put a bite
and I was like hey man
thanks for this I'm gonna throw out your plate for you
right so I pick up the thing
drop the stromboli on the floor
hey man
thanks for sharing your tromboli
fuck you
pick it up I throw it back
I throw away a stuff for him
and then I walk over
and then Mike's like check your phone
He was taking photos of me eating this guy stromboli the entire time.
You know, it was a clean cut, right?
It wasn't like he took a big bite out of it or whatever.
It was a clean cut.
The guy, the guy wanted half a stromboli, and I ain't half a stramboli.
And it was good.
I don't see any problem with that.
Thank you, Nick.
There's no problem.
I don't know why anyone would try to take pictures of you doing that.
I think it was kind of weird, honestly.
Yeah, it was kind of weird.
I really want to hear this man's perspective where in reality, Roger came up to him was
like, uh, stramboli.
He's so juggie.
The bully.
All right, man, fucking take him.
half. I didn't eat it after
it dropped the floor, y'all. That's not what happened. I ate it
and then I dropped it on the floor and then I picked it up and threw it away.
Did he want the other half of the crumbull? Yeah, no, yeah.
He was going to throw it away. That's what happened.
Get in there. Yeah, exactly. So it was chill.
It was a nice time. That does sound very, very chill,
Rod. Yeah, it was a chill time. And
I can't wait to hear about all
the rest of these stories. No way.
On a different show.
No. No. We are very late.
We got it. We got to tell us that. I'm following orders.
Really? From who?
From up above.
