Solo leveling arise overdrive.
The fast-paced action RPG based on the popular solo leveling franchise has just been released.
Head on over to Steam to begin Sung Juno's epic journey to become Shadow Monarch today.
Mike, did you see how Hasbullah and the Rizzler met?
Stop it.
Yeah.
No.
Big deal.
Really?
Yeah.
Did he give him his new Arizona iced tea?
I don't know.
Because I'm out here working hard for us to get.
that Arizona ice team.
What is it?
What flavor?
The Rizzler.
Yeah.
I said what flavor?
Does it taste like the Rizler?
Like, what do we do?
I mean, it's limited edition.
Yeah.
Yeah.
When you think, I mean, it's like Rizberry.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
They ended up boxing in this full grown man, Houselah, who's like 37 years old.
Is it like, punching Rizzler in the face?
It's crazy.
How old is Rizler?
Nine?
Yeah.
No.
We can't do that.
He can't do that.
He can't do that.
the young guy.
Wow, meeting to Hasbula.
Big moment.
That's crazy.
Yeah, the number, the best quote to you, I saw, I was like, this is like, uh, in season
season two of Pokemon when Pichu met Pikachu.
That was a great moment.
Welcome to the kind of funny games cast for November 24th, 2025.
I am Andy Cortez and I'm joined by Blessing out of a junior and Mike Howard.
Hello, everybody.
The Rizzler is a Godzilla compared to Hasbola.
The Rizzler's massive.
He's a big kid.
Yeah.
He's a big kid.
There's no way he's that young.
The Rizzler is, yeah.
He's like eight or nine.
Jesus.
He's a young child, dude.
He's a kid, man.
He's a...
Dude, born 2016, and I didn't know he could do that.
Didn't know that was possible.
This is the kind of funny games, guys.

Because this episode is all about Snowbike Mike's Kingdom Come Deliverance to Review.
He did it.
I get it for you.
I get it for you.
Man of the people.
He cares about you.
I'll be honest.
I don't like that we're doing this review.
I know.
I'm mad that you two aren't involved in this.
You both should have played and beaten this game by now.
He went the opposite direction.
Because the Reddit was so mean about this one.
I remember the first half of the year.
I'll never forget when we reviewed Blueprints and we're like, this is our personal game of the year so far.
And then everybody was super mean about it.
Everybody was me.
Everybody was like, how dare you guys not play King Con Deliverance too?
And so I stood tall.
I was like, well, now I'm not playing this game.
Fuck you guys.
Nine months later.
I'm spying you guys.
I either blame their PR or blame Greg Miller.
Okay.
Honestly, that is the real piece.
I was supposed to be playing it and never got the code a week later got it.
But I was already on to a vowed by then.
Yeah.
So if I had started this game.
Back then, oh man, yeah, that would have been a different story instead of playing about it.
I'm with you.
A lot of blame to go around.
I blame Greg Miller personally.
We're an 11-person business all about live talk shows.
Kind of funny games daily was all about Ubisoft and also trying to figure out what JRP3.0 means.
After this is the kind of funny podcast.
And then following that is a sponsor stream of Mike and Kevin checking out solo leveling a rise.
If you're a kind of funny member, today's Greg Ways 15 minutes covering the new Simulieu movie in your dreams and why you got to watch it.
Thank you to our Patreon producers.
Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster, and Delaney the Somme Twining.
For now, let's begin with what is topic of the show.
Kingdom Come Deliverance to a thrilling story-driven action RPG.
Is it? Dang, it's an action RPG. Look at that.
W-action RPG. It's a war RPG.
Well, it's an Eastern RPG. You know, man, like it's a European RPG.
Art movie.
With a rich open world set in 15th century medieval Europe,
experienced the ultimate medieval adventure through the eyes of young Henry
as you embark on a journey of epic proportions.
Snowmike Mike,
you have beaten Kingdom Come Deliverance to.
That's not crazy actually.
I've been delivered.
He's been delivered.
How many hours is that?
I played 83 hours and I could have easily spent another 20 to 40 if I wanted to.
I didn't get to dive into either one of the three DLCs.
I did start one, okay?
A widow came to me and she said, Mike, I need help.
I've lost my husband.
He's died and I have this beautiful forge.
I need you to become the new blacksmith.
And I said, miss, I got to go play arc graders.
I got you.
And she's like, can you forge me an axe?
That's like, old lady, you don't need to work on an axe anymore.
Like, sit down, I'll make porridge for you.
Wow.
And that was the start of DLC one.
Wow.
And then DLC3 takes it to the monastery for a murder mystery type vibe.
There's a plague.
And then you got to go kind of figure out what's going on with the church.
What's going on with the whole building.
So I didn't do that, Bless.
Didn't do DLC2.
There might be eight more side quests I didn't complete in the main game.
Wow.
More just kept popping up.
And I did a lot.
Okay.
I helped Bathhouse Betty open up a second bathhouse.
I can't wait to talk about all about it.
Bath House Betty.
But first, Mike, I'd like to get a little,
just a little top-level thoughts from you
with your review score.
Yeah, let's talk about it.
Deliverance, too.
Top-level thoughts.
It's as good as everyone says it is.
Yes, this game absolutely delivered.
You should 100% give it your time
and play it if you are interested in playing a deep RPG
or an action RPG or just looking to get lost in a medieval world.
The team over at Warhorse Studios absolutely delivered on a follow-up
to Kingdom Come deliverance, one, in a big way, in a way that you can get lost in, you can live in,
you can explore and have so much fun in, the narrative, the writing, the decision-making,
the mission structure, and just the exploration of Prague from the Trosky region to the Kootenberg
region was just an absolute blast.
It's one of those games, it starts off at a crawl, and it takes some time to get into.
I know both of you have played the opening couple hours,
so you know that feeling of learning all the big time systems,
experiencing the combat for the first time.
And until you meet Tom, Tomcat, who teaches you the master strike,
it does feel like the combat isn't all that great.
But once you meet Tom, Tom, Cat, he teaches you the master strike.
He also teaches you some different sword move techniques that will have fun.
It really opens up from the archery with the bow and the crossbow and also the pistol
to then just having the axe, the mace, the giant spear, the sword,
all the combat and different weapons can be a ton of fun.
But the game really opens up into however you want to play.
You can get lost and just do a bunch of side quests.
You can get deep into the narrative of what is going on with Hans and Henry,
these two fantastic main characters that were voiced acted impeccably.
They were fantastic to follow these two.
It was a lot of fun.
And so, yeah, all in all, the game is as,
good as everyone says it is, you should absolutely play it.
It is a 9 out of 10 in the Snowbike Mike playbook,
if not a 9.5 out of 10.
Absolutely amazing.
Damn.
So I've lived up to all the expectations after all of the hype
that chat's been saying, why won't any of y'all play kingdom come deliverance too?
Absolutely.
There are some games out there.
2025 will go down in the history books of just absolutely delivering video games.
And there are a couple of video games out right now that people have really cheerleaded for.
they have pushed their favorite people to play,
their friends, their families, their favorite content creators.
And a lot of us hear that and it's noise
and maybe we get batten down of like,
you keep talking about it.
I don't want to play that.
You're annoying me now.
And like at the same time,
if you do listen and give it the time,
those games are fantastic, right?
I'm looking at you, Expedition 33.
I'm looking at you, Kingdom Come Deliverance, too.
I'm looking at you,
Crazy painting too.
I mean, I'm talking about all.
all these games that have just been fantastic this year.
I mean, it's tough because we all can admit there's not enough time in the day to play
all.
There's not.
You would love to play them all.
And I get that we get agitated from the Redits to the comments saying, play this game, play
that game.
And it just starts to sound like noise.
But it's true.
All these games are really freaking good.
I mean, it's true that these games are really freaking good.
Yeah.
I'll give it that.
It's just also true that we just don't have time to play every single thing.
It's just an 80-hour RPG.
But that's said- You can commit to it.
I'm not going to commit to an 80-hour RPG.
For the past two weeks-
Mike, stop pandering.
You're going to fucking piss me off.
I'm not doing that.
I'm not giving you 80 hours of my life for a game.
I'm not going to fucking love.
I forgot my point now.
He hasn't been in Sparanza, you know?
I've also spent 80 hours in Sparanza.
So what kept it from a 10 out of 10 for you?
Oh, the combat for me is just a little bit frustration.
There are some pieces that there's just frustrating pieces in it.
And I described it to Greg.
I was like, this game is just a crawl all the time, but it's a good crawl.
And I guess I mean it has a crawl of like, it is a very slowed down action RPG, right?
Like everything that you are doing will take minutes to hours, right?
Like these missions that I was on, these side quests would take hours and I would be like,
man, I'm going to tear this game up tonight.
I'm going to get to the end.
And next thing I know, I've only done two side quests.
And like the most awesome side quests I've ever experienced in games,
but it's been three and a half hours
and I've gone nowhere in the story, right?
But I had to go help that girl
who ran away from her family because she
fell in love with this guy that her father
didn't approve of and now they're trapped in a cave
and there's wolves outside of this cave
and they need help but the father won't give them help
so I got to go back and forth between the family
to try to bring them together.
I killed the dad.
Made it easy, he killed the dad.
Gotcha, okay. That's a good call.
And so like the combat
when you're first introduced
from a beginner's eye
looks like Ferranor, right? You get hit
with the classic star,
which is up strike, left
or right strike, the downward strike, right?
And you start to figure out, hey, if he's holding
his sword on the right, I shouldn't swing at the right
because clearly he's going to block me or repost me, right?
And then on the flip side, you're trying to
figure out where he's going to go so you can either block
repost or dodge. And then, of course, you meet Tom,
Tomcat, which teaches you the master's strike,
which is the ultimate move for beginner players like
myself. If you don't vibe
with the combat, if you can't grasp
the different combos that they teach
you throughout, you can go to different trainers.
They teach you new moves. They elevate your
gameplay in certain ways to make you stronger
and better. But if you can't
vibe with it, you just do the master
strike, which is when they attack,
as long as you're on the opposite side with the sword,
you can kind of repose them. Instant
counter automatic move.
Right? And you just do that over and over again.
Now, what's his real name? His name was Tom, Tom.
Okay, okay. I wasn't sure if you were doing it.
They didn't know about it was like a Mike.
And her name is Bathhouse Betty.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Don't you know the message.
Did you make the names for this game, Mike?
Yeah.
Mike was the consultant.
He's in the credits.
They called me.
Yeah.
That's my friend Jammer.
He works at it.
He puts people in the slimmer.
What is it as an RPG?
When we think about the, I guess the legacy of Western RPGs,
what RPGs as we started to call them as now, right?
You think of a Baldur's gate.
You think of a Witcher.
You think of a Sky.
You think of all these different games that allow you.
to have this open world, do these quests, like kind of experience.
What is it about Kenning Come Deliverance to you for you that stands out?
What would you say is the superpower of this video game?
The depth, the depth of the game.
If I'm thinking Skyrim, I'm in the shallows, the three-foot zone for the kids,
and then I go into Kingdom Come Deliverance to,
and all of a sudden I'm in the six-foot adult zone, right?
I've gone even deeper, or I can jump in deeper into the swimming pool
and, like, dive in and get really lost in it, right?
everything you do is leveling up something similar to Skyrim, right?
If I use a sword, I'm leveling up my sword capabilities.
If I'm carrying a bunch, I'm leveling up my strength, right?
If I'm stealing a bunch, I'm leveling up my thievery and onward and so on.
So, like, the RPG mechanics have a lot going on, right?
And then that also fits in to the narrative and what you're doing with the dialogue structure
of any RPG that you've played of like, hey, you're really good at charisma, do this.
Oh, you're really strong and like you're intimidating, do this move, right?
And they all have opportunities to land and not land.
And so you do it no matter what.
But like it just has a depth to it that when I think of these Western RPGs,
we're like right there,
but it goes just a little bit deeper to where it becomes a little obtuse sometimes and frustrating.
But if you spend the time and slow down and really dive into it,
you get an appreciation for it going that deep.
Were there any moments in the game design, Mike,
that you could, you could,
see past the game design wall and go, oh, okay, I, right here, I feel like I have full
freedom or whatever, but really, whenever, whatever I'm choosing here, it's because the game is
limiting me in this way because you can't have, you know, you can't have these characters react
in every which way possible because that's just not super possible game design wise.
Were there any moments where you saw, like, this is where the game is being made?
There's some dialogue moments where, of course, you know they have to get to point A, right?
And no matter how hard I push the point C, it's going to no matter what push me to point A.
That happens everywhere.
But, I mean, when it comes down to just like player choice, right, we're talking about 80 hours spent in this game.
And I could have spent even more.
There are moments where it never pushed me to continue the main quest.
It never said, hey, you got to get back on track.
If I wanted to go that way, I could go do that.
I killed this old woman.
She caught me stealing for the side quest that this guy wanted me.
Okay, so he liked this girl, right?
Let's get this.
We don't need a no spoiler.
He liked this girl, Andy.
And so here's the deal.
This guy liked this girl, but her father wanted her to marry somebody in the town that had more reputation.
He was the son of the king, right?
And he was mad and frustrated that he couldn't get the girl of his dreams,
even though she loved him, but she didn't love this guy.
And so what he wanted was, was for me to plant some things on him from town, around town,
and then we could label him as a thief.
Well, here's the problem is I went up to steal the first thing.
The old lady caught me.
She started running for the hills to try to get the guards.
I murdered her.
Mission over.
Jesus.
You know what I? Mission over.
So, yeah, there's just, like, fun openness that you can do anything.
And, like, you're not punished for doing one thing.
You know, you kind of end some ways for that.
So, no, I didn't see many game design walls.
Yeah.
Do you feel like there were many people in your Twitch chat on Twitch Hot TV.
I'm not like Mike telling you, wow, I had a completely different outcome here.
Or holy shit.
My story has gone so much, my story is so much different than yours is right now.
I would say 30% difference from love interests to maybe people around you.
And then there's a major one.
But I wouldn't call that like a game.
defining game changing one,
but there's a major choice
that you can make that would dictate
where you kind of are and what you did,
but I don't think at the end of the game
it is all that massively different.
But it is a big one.
It's a big choice, and I chose wrong.
What do you mean you chose wrong?
Does it feel like a definitive moral
either you choose good or you choose bad here?
Oh, yeah. It felt like, oh, Mike, you should
have listened a little more and you should have
paid a little more attention, Mike, because you clearly
know what was right from wrong,
and you chose wrong.
And so, yeah, for sure, chose wrong.
So how much did you interact with side activities?
When I played the game early on,
they introduced you to like an alchemy kind of system going on
where it is and go in.
Like you have access to like all these different tools
to make potions and all this shit.
And it was super overwhelming,
but also really cool to see them have a system
that introduced the system that early
that seemed that deep.
Are there other things like that?
Did you interact with things like that?
There is the smithing for blacksmithing.
There is alchemy right there.
I mean, there's hunting out there,
but I don't know how deep the hunting gets.
When you think of alchemy,
like you brought up, right?
The apothecary station is wild, right?
You are brewing and creating potions on the fly whenever you want, right?
And so there are missions that will kind of make you do it,
and they do it in a great way of like,
instead of being like,
oh, I don't have the ingredients,
I got to go out to the field now
and go find thistle,
go find tumbleweed, like rosemary.
They usually have a chest next to you that you can break into, get all that ingredients.
But on the flip side, it was really cool.
Like, there was different murders that I solved by figuring out, like, what happened to the dead body?
Let's investigate this a little bit further.
Oh, now I'm going into my alchemy book, and I'm looking up the book of potions or of poisons
and seeing what they killed this guy with.
And that was pretty cool to be able to deduce that from the book of poisons and then be able to make those.
and like maybe put it in somebody's drink,
put it in their food, you know what I mean?
Kill people that way was really cool.
It's also, that's one of the kind of dings that I have
along with the combat is the save system.
Now they've encouraged you at Warhorse Studios
to like, hey, add mods onto your game
so you can save whenever you want
because they built the save system around kind of the apothecary
in these potions, right?
So you have two options.
One, you can save and exit the game,
which I'm not doing that, right?
I'm not saving and rebooting the game over and over again.
that's just not my move here.
Or you can make potions where you'll drink and save during the game.
And they give you those throughout it.
But like honestly and truly,
you probably have to make more of those than you were getting for free.
Because I didn't ever feel like I had enough of them when I wanted them the most.
And then I had a couple of them when I didn't need them the most.
So it's one of this dance of like, I wish it was just save whenever you want it.
It's like the co-op system in Elven Rings.
Yes.
And like later on, they clearly say when I started giving it was like,
hey, put on some mods to make the game better.
The whole chat was like, you might want this mod.
It's going to make the experience better.
So there's some small...
Why do you think they did it that way?
I don't know.
Maybe, I don't know.
That's a great question.
Why would you do that?
That's a question you have to ask them.
Like, why save an exit?
Why not just save game, right?
Maybe probably because they wanted me to use that apothecary more.
Right?
Like, there's moments there, blessed with it's like, you never have to use the apothecary if you
don't want to.
You don't ever have to brew a potion.
Really, I didn't have to bang steel and,
and make swords and axes all that much, probably three to four times on both of these maximum.
I think it was just encouraging you to dive a little bit deeper into some of these coolest systems
they got.
Yeah, it seems like immersion is kind of at the top of their list of we want everything to,
you know, for reasons why people don't love Red Dead Red Dead Redemption too because everything
is so like particular.
Methodical.
It's so methodical.
It is so like everything requires many, many steps.
but that's kind of what makes the experience special.
I see Washy, Washburn in the chat say,
I witnessed this man murder somebody while trying to heal them
because his skill wasn't high enough.
So the potion you brood for them was like not good enough
and they ended up dying.
It's a deep system.
There are pages upon pages of different RPG elements
that you will level up skills that will go into perch
that you can choose from.
And it's like there are so many that I could have played this game
a hundred different ways that I didn't, right?
And it's like, man, oh, man,
if you were really into this,
you could do it all day, every day and just, like,
level up to the maximum.
I didn't do much into, you know, hunting.
I think of axe.
I didn't fight with an axe ever.
Bo and arrows I was awful with.
I never used that.
There's so many different systems I wasn't into at all.
Were you making friends outside of just the one dude?
Hans?
Were you, were you,
were you forming groups and having like a lot of different
squad mates?
Me and the dry devil we rolled.
Catherine was out there.
She's a super spy.
My main man Ziska.
That guy's a leader.
That guy's going to go places, okay?
Well, we fought in battle and I sliced his eye.
I thought he was going to lose his eye.
But then it turns out he was really a good guy and needed some help.
So like that was pretty sick.
There's Eric.
Eric will remember my name.
He's going to look for me.
Eric for sure is going to kill me.
He's going to hunt me down.
Okay.
And he's your friend?
Or you're just saying he's a guy that he's out there that you'll never forget.
Like there's Lord von Berghoff, you'll never forget him.
There are characters in this game if you play it and see it through that you will never forget.
You will laugh and giggle like the Ginger King Sigismund.
You'll never forget him.
He had some great moments.
There's some moments in this game that are like really heartfelt and beautiful.
a page ripped right out of
what was Mel Gibson
when he had the face pan
Braveheart right where you're like
oh shit he's given the speech
this is wicked
and then there's like Monty Python
type skits in this
that'll make you giggle and laugh
and it's like they hit all
of these fun moments
where it's like hey great job
with the writing
fantastic cut scenes
and cinematics
and also the world of Prague
is beautiful
the countryside of Prague
and what they created
with this just giant open world
No loading screens.
Just you on your horse pebbles.
Shout out to pebbles.
Just riding pebbles in two different massive regions.
Fantastic.
That was one of the things I want to ask is, again, in my short time playing the game,
I was blown away by the visuals, right?
As you're describing the countryside, like the forest, the leaves, the greenery,
all of it looked super beautiful and the cutscenes looked incredible as well.
So much so that I'll say this game is one of the best looking games of the year.
Does it keep that up through the entire experience?
Yeah, it keeps it all the way up from the cinematics to the narrative being tied into all of that.
Plus the character models and design all look fantastic.
Sure, you'll have moments where I could like pause the game and it would look like the Skyrim model where he's kind of looking at me sideways.
That happens in all of these games.
But most of the time it's like, man, like you look fantastic on the screen right now.
Oh, smokes.
Like that cut scene is awesome looking.
Run it back.
So yeah, it was at a high level the whole time.
Nice.
I'd like to talk about customization and what you're doing visually for your characters,
but we'll talk about that after a word from our sponsors.
The wait is over.

It was sick.
So when you commit crimes in the cities, right, they're going to come and chase you, right?
You're going to get, you're going to start to be known for some things.
When I murdered that old lady, they were hunting me for a while.
And you can leave and, like, explore Prague, but just know when you come back to that city,
they're going to remember your name, right?
And so when they come up to you, you can pay a fine.
You can get put in the stocks for a couple of days, right?
That's when you put in the hole.
And then they throw things at you, right?
And then if you commit a really bad crime, they'll brand you.
And then from that point forward, whenever you go back to that city, you know,
vendors are going to treat you differently.
The town will treat you differently.
So I did get branded by one town.
Could have got branded by two.
I think I did save scum.
Or maybe I killed all the guards, one of the two.
Either one.
I don't remember which.
but I did get branded
and it was sick
so like every cut scene
every time he'd see my character
he had this big brand
on the side of his neck
it was awesome
that's awesome
yeah it was very cool
very very neat
um yeah get your super chats
and we have a question here
from demon hacker
who says kingdom come deliverance too
is real history
learn anything Mike
yeah I learned about the ginger king
um
tell me all about the ginger king
Sigisman from Hungary
oh okay so Sigisman
and his men came to Prague
to try to take over Prague with, you know, maybe they wanted to push one of the kings out
and have a new king come in.
And Siggismund and his men came to help.
But then get this, when I stole all of his silver,
he was like, it's not worth it for me and my crew to be here if I'm not paying them.
And I got to get back to hungry anyways because they stole his throne.
And now he's in this predicament where he's trying to leave and come back.
And somebody definitely swiped his spot.
Yeah, that's crazy.
That's crazy.
And the Ginger King?
He's got the locks.
bro. His got curls coming down.
They look great. They look great.
Omega Buster with a $10.
Absolutely not.
No, okay.
Gotcha.
Okay.
I mean, you learned about Ziska.
Yeah.
Is that a real person?
Yes.
Oh, he's cool.
Now, you did mention that, you know, somebody, you had an outcome happened that was very, very bad.
And you're like, if only I would have paid attention a bit more, I would have maybe chosen the right thing.
So I'm not too surprised at you.
maybe you didn't learn a whole lot.
Well, like, here's the deal.
You're getting pulled along.
Right, like, did I actually know what was happening?
No, because, like, you're getting out of from both sides.
You don't know who's bad and who's good at the beginning, right?
A lot of gray area.
Lord von Berghoff is telling you, like, hey, these guys are a thorn in my side.
Like, they're doing things that aren't okay to the kingdom.
And you're like, well, like, Hans's daddy sent us out here to see you.
So you got to be right.
And on the flip side, right, these guys were acting in the shadows.
and I didn't know what they were doing.
And then all of a sudden, like, he left his wedding,
and I went to go cheer up the bride.
They caught me with the bride.
We were doing nothing wrong.
We were just having a little cheers.
And then, you know, they threw me out of town.
How was I supposed to react to that?
Was it supposed to side with them?
Or was it supposed to side with Lord von Berghoff?
The guy who's been treating me well.
I mean, you're making great part.
You know, you're making good boys.
What are you saying?
Great super chat here from Rabidty.
says, I've only played a few hours, but I'm slowly getting into the gameplay story.
Question, if a third comes out, what would be your biggest addition or change you would like to see?
Oh, wow, if a third came out.
Well, I haven't told you guys about Gary Whittah.
We got the adventures of Gary Whitton.
Gary Witton.
Like, it's not actually Gary Witter, but like when you look at him, it's Gary Witter.
Okay.
And he has an incredible story.
You know, he's living his life, bless.
Yeah.
He's having a great time at the bath house.
he's enjoying his retirement
and they call him and they're like Gary
you got to go get the boys, they're in trouble.
And Gary rolls out of bed.
He's like, you see I'm having a good time here.
I don't want to go.
Like Gary gets to step in.
I would love number three all about Gary Witta.
Okay.
And his stories because he's fantastic.
What would I add?
Well, you get to have a house in this game with DLC1.
So I get the HGTV home decor designer
that I've always wanted.
I love that.
I love that.
World of Warcraft added that, as we know, right?
Like, I'm all about having my own little space.
They did that.
Combat is good, especially when you start learning the combos,
is pretty nasty.
There's a pistol there.
Like a full-player PVVP.
I would like to see gladiator battles.
They have a lot, so like a lot of side activities.
When you start early on in the game,
a lot of the activities in the regions will be like,
hey, we run an illegal fighting ring.
go to all these different farms and fight these guys
and then fight my boy who's the king of the fighting ring
and so you'll bear knuckle box each other
but like next one I want is like give me the sword
let's go full gladiator on.
Gotcha. Yeah. Okay. Super chat here from Trevor
who says, oh I'm sorry from Omega Buster
$10 super chat says this sounds like Mike hanging out
with his best friends in medieval Lake Tahoe. No wonder he loved it.
Expedition 33 when Mike?
Expedition 33 this week
I'm on a tear of video games
that'll put me
played a little bit of hollow night
played Hades 2
suck at Hades 2
suck at Haley's 2
played Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
You beat Sankyro you can beat all these games
I'm trying my best I'm trying
But yeah Expedition 33
This week
And yeah I mean
This game was a lot of fun
I gave myself to it
I opened up my heart
Like I said when it felt like there was a crawl
And I was I just wanted it to progress
I also was having the time of my life
with the side quests and the shenanigans
that I was getting into
where it's like I appreciated everything
that I did throughout this journey.
There was never a bad night.
Especially at the end when it's like I wanted it to end
but then at the same time it's like,
well I could spend another five hours just doing side quests
and I did and I had a blast.
Delaney Twining with a $20 super chat.
Because Mike, during the second week of college football,
Colorado defeated Delaware 31 to 7.
You went on to KFGD and said
the Blue Hens were some no-name team.
Colorado is currently three and eight.
Delaware is five and six.
Who's the no-name team now?
Who said that?
Delaney Twining.
Delaney Twining. I'd like to initiate an apology to all of Delaware
in Delaware State football.
Of course, you know,
Blue Hens. You're a mid-major team.
CU is supposed to run over that team.
But at the end of the day, Colorado,
they lost Shudor.
Ah. Roli time.
Yeah.
They lost all of their weapons.
and they might as well call me a 35-year-old bum to come out and play quarterback
because that number one kid in the nation was awful this year.
He had no weapons.
He had no offensive line.
We fell off.
We fell off.
How long will Dion stay?
I don't know.
But to you, Delaware State, great job fighting hens.
Send me a sweatsh.
Blue hands, yeah, blue hands.
Cool.
That about wraps up.
Our King of Con Deliverance 2.
Play this game.
It's fantastic.
It's a ton of fun.
If you want a deep RPG, if you like the fantasy world or more medieval world, it's not really fantasy.
Play this game.
Don't be afraid of it.
Jump in.
Give it a try and enjoy.
Great time.
Great job.
There's also been a couple of games that have been beat and completed in the last week or so.
A game that you and me, you and I beat recently, Mike, dispatch.
We played dispatch.
Where are you at with dispatch?
dispatch is secret goady.
Damn.
It's not even secret,
low key.
Well, it's like, I mean,
y'all are riding for Expedition 33.
I mean, don't say y'all.
Secret lead dispatch.
I probably, I might put
dispatch above Expedition on my list.
I fucking love dispatch.
He said that.
It's so good, bless.
It's so fucking good.
Beatle of one sitting, Andy.
Seven and a half hours.
Uncensored.
Licensed music on.
Fantastic time.
It was everything that I wanted out of a telltale.
game, Telltale S game, in 2025.
Perfect.
Decision making, narrative, all fantastic.
The side mini games from hacking to the dispatching, so much fun.
Would an absolute blast.
And they found this perfect balance of like 20 minutes of, you know, watching a TV show,
essentially.
I turned off the QTEs and just enjoyed it in cinematic mode.
And then it was like, hey, here's like 15 minutes of you dispatching.
It's not that much.
It's not intrusive.
You're never going to get bored of it.
Oh, lovely time.
Good time.
I agree.
Yeah, I really enjoy the game.
It's definitely a contender.
It'll be in my top 10 for sure.
I, if they were to make a dispatch too,
I would love to see some more like,
some more polish around.
I got really annoyed whenever I would click a new mission
and people were still talking about the prior thing that happened.
and my MPCs are still talking
while I'm like
already looking at a new mission
just tiny little things that would
kind of like bother me or whatever
but they were yapping all the time
yeah I really enjoyed it
I thought all the characters were fantastic
voice acting was great
the way that
every couple of weeks
you would just wait for those new episodes
and they would come out
and they would deliver
it's so hard to do
like in this day and age
I gotta say I hate the episodic release
I've always been one of like
I don't trust it I don't like how they do
that. We've seen too many delays with that, but they nailed the release schedule.
They did.
And those episodes were so good that I have to give it to them of like, I'm a believer
that, like, they did it. I am happy. I did it all in one sitting.
But if you were doing it week to week, they nailed it. And like for me and Barry,
who played it week to week in real time worked for us. I think we really liked the pacing
of it. And if you looked at the numbers, the player base, they were spiking with each episode.
Yeah. It seems like it worked on all. Each spike was getting higher and higher every week.
Yeah. I think the only, the only,
time the weekly didn't work for me was that first week. I think like the end of the second episode wasn't
like personally just a great hook to get me to like be on the edge of my seat for the entire week
waiting for episodes three and four. But then after that I think like every kind of cliffhanger
beat after that was so well done of like damn they're nailing this like we know where to end to have
people talking for a week and anticipating the next few episodes. Genuinely like this might be
I don't want to speak out of turn but definitely one of the best examples of
narrative episodic game.
If not maybe the best
I would say it's the best rollout for sure.
Of how they're treating episodic
specifically.
Yeah, 100% the best rollout.
I mean, young gravy.
Let's let's shine a light.
Young gravy did a fantastic.
Young gravy was great.
You didn't think young gravy had it.
And then Alana, amazing.
Amazing. Great job.
Aaron Paul, you're right, Andy.
He should be 100% nominated for Game of the Year
or Game Awards voice act.
That guy was fantastic.
He was amazing.
Holy cow.
Moist critical.
did a great job. Everybody was awesome. Everybody was great.
Really enjoyed the voice cast.
Oh, everybody was... Lord Bailey.
Character designs.
Coupe.
The humor. The writing.
Yeah. The way that...
The way that there was never a moment where I, like, cringed from dialogue or was like,
oh, man, that's such a lame joke.
Everything was, like, perfectly, like, edgy enough, witty enough.
Like, it's just...
Good amount of goofy.
I want you to write for everything.
And the music.
I like the music, right?
That song is now blown up on Spotify.
That girl was working at a coffee shop and said that I was getting like 7,000 or so monthly listens.
But now I got like $7 million or something crazy.
Did you see that story?
No, no, I didn't.
So the apartments, the apartment song, dance music, I put it up on my Twitter.
If you follow, if you go find that girl on social media, she's like, yeah, like this just absolutely changed my life.
Yeah.
So that was awesome.
Great framing for a lot of the action as well.
like again, I don't want to get into spoiling anything for people who haven't played it,
but the way in which they'll have action scenes,
but it won't just be action scenes, right?
It'll be that in conjunction with another thing happening and the framing and the shots of it,
I think are just so good.
They're just, like choreography.
Mike choreography looked great.
It's a good game.
Damn, man.
Yeah.
Real good game.
Great time.
Bless, is there anything you've been playing recently?
I don't have much to say about it, but Kirby Airwriters, I played a bit more over the weekend.
Of course, me and Mike did a stream this last Thursday.
Yeah, Thursday.
Good.
It looks good.
It looks.
incredibly pretty. I probably played only maybe an hour and a half to two hours more since the stream,
but what I will say is that I love how that game is presented. It's presented like a Sakurai game,
meaning it's, oh, you can see a lot of smash in it from the menus and the UI to the announcer.
And like, I love how much the game is presented as if it's this, it's the most grand game ever.
And then you get into the gameplay and it's like, all right, race from point A to Point B real quick,
or do this weird mini game where you're fucking flicking your stick
and trying to hit another thing.
The gameplay is so ridiculous,
but I bought in so much to it.
I really enjoy this experience so far.
I want to play all the way through the road trip mode,
which I know it was in a long thing,
and I want to play more of the other modes in the game.
I'm having a good time with it.
I'm really liking it.
The game looks gorgeous.
The cinematics are crazy.
Every beat in the story mode so far
has me like, yo, what the fuck is happening in Kirby?
I've seen so many cutscenes just kind of
spoiling myself on what the game is
because I don't plan on playing this
it was too chaotic for me
my eyes like we were just burning the whole time
we played it at packs
but watching what some of the cunt seeds go
he's just like this is the same video game
what the insane stuff happened
you're so right bless it's like this weird mix of like
smash bros and Mario Kart
but also twisted metal all in one
it's like what is happening on this screen
but it looked like nothing but a good time
yeah oh yeah it's a it's a fun game
I understand, I guess, where the reviews land
because the reviews aren't that high for this game.
Like, they're kind of in that middle range.
I guess they're lower than you'd expect
for a first party full-price Nintendo game.
I want to say the Metacritic is somewhere in like the 70s even.
Open Critics at an 81.
That's kind of exactly what I would expect.
It's honestly higher than what I expect.
Yeah.
I think the Metacritic might be lower than that,
unless it's adjusted since we last talked about it.
79 is where the Metacritic is at.
but like playing it
I'm having such a good time
I'm having such a good time with this game
the presentation I think definitely
kind of outweighs what the actual gameplay
of it is but even the gameplay I'm like this is so
weird and goofy but also
I like that it feels fresh it feels
different um
I'm having a good time with this one
nice I am also playing another video game
that I've been kind of just messing with
on Steam deck and it's
called monsters are coming
rock and road
oh we saw this we did see this and
And this is one of those where I was,
making fun of the name,
what a silly, dumb name it is
because it does,
when we first saw the title,
I thought it was like a rhythm game.
But the gameplay for audio listeners
is essentially,
it's a roguide where you are
trying to move a castle
towards a finish line,
and the castle is kind of moving,
and you are vampire survivor style
fighting enemies,
and when they dream,
drop the little blue XP gems, you then level up the castle. And when you level up the castle,
it'll be like, all right, castle's leveled up. And you'll have like your three roguelike choices,
or in some cases, six choices where it's like, all right, oh, I want to put a cannon on the backside.
And the cannon will also shoot at the demons that are around it. And then I just got this one new
piece that makes all adjacent castle pieces do 50% extra damage, which is great, because I just have,
I have two ballistas on the side doing damage.
Now they're going to do extra.
So it just has all the roguelight hooks that you would want.
Awesome music, fun music.
And you're also upgrading your own personal dude,
who is the one running around doing the vampire survivor style combat where
now you want to,
now I have like these three freeze beams that are constantly like rotating around me
and slowing down enemies.
It's kind of like a bunch of different serotonin slop games.
games, like all mix into one, and it's been a really, really good time so far.
I think I've put in, I've played for about seven hours.
What's the called again?
Actually, no, five hours, sorry.
Monsters are coming, rock and road.
Rock and road, yeah.
It looks cool.
But it looks really, really cool.
It's a really good time.
This isn't an early access thing.
It's like, it's out.
And it's also on Game Pass, I think.
I think some people mention that it is coming to Game Pass soon.
Y'all still messing with Arc Raiders?
Will y'all at?
I haven't hoped in a while.
while. I haven't walked in a while either.
You all play that Stella Montes map at all?
No. I'm sad I haven't played more art creators, but it's just a
matter of getting pulled to different things.
There's always video games coming. Yeah, I've been reviewing
another game that we previewed recently.
Octopath Traveler Zero.
Oh, that's cool. Yeah. So that review will be
out very, very soon. I had a life-changing woman last night.
I keep going. So
I got a pair of Xreal ones.
I got to wear my glasses now.
Oh, nice.
So, yeah, I got a pair of X-Real ones.
Thank you to X-Real and, of course, Tim, out there.
And so I was in bed last night playing Dynasty Warriors on them.
Oh, I'm a believer now.
Dude.
Let me tell you real quick.
You know, Tim, I never got to wear Tim's.
So Tim, Kevin, and you have all worn Tim's glasses.
Yeah, Tim let him to be on a flight and it changed the whole flight.
Now it's my turn, right?
I put these things on.
I'm in the beanbag chair, giant screen, 178 inches.
losing my mind. I go into bed.
I got Dynasty Warriors on. I got the
cool TikTok shop, like
cool nightlight. You know,
the astronaut with the nightlight, he puts
up the galaxy too. Oh, right. I got
a vibe going on in this room. And I got
these X-real glasses on, I believe.
Everything is a 4K nook now.
Believe, man. This thing is crazy, man. I'm loving it. It was so cool.
I also talked a bit on games
Daily, Mike, a game
that you and I streamed for a sponsor stream
on Friday. I heard you. I watched. I watched.
And for the games cast audience, who maybe doesn't listen to games daily, we play Demio Dungeons and Dragons battlemark.
And again, this is not sponsored.
We were only sponsored for Friday.
But I think this is a game that I really want to play back home with my friends and family, like having the shared screen experience.
I just had so much fun with this game, especially because it is the very diet baby's first, you know,
the Balders Gate 3 experience.
This came rock.
I had such a good time with you guys.
I loved when we played the first team, you know,
I love this kind of like tabletop grid system they got going on with really cute
mini figures, right?
Like, that's always been my dream, Andy.
You know me.
Not artistic, not creative.
But I've always wanted to dump a bunch of money into Warhammer and all these
fun little mini figures and start painting them.
I know it will never work.
Have I bought in some less?
Of course I have.
Let's get into it.
I have a wall full of them.
But I don't paint them because I don't.
Quick interjects and.
real quick. You know how I, when I bought
the Verso costume,
I was like painting some custom stuff
to like add battle damage or whatever.
And then I remembered,
I have a link from Links
Awakening Keychain. That's been
scratched up and worn over. Oh.
So, all of that big
paint set that I bought, I started painting
like over the green and I was like,
oh my God, this is what it, this is what it feels
like. If you let me rearrange
your room, I have a
crafting corner.
I didn't know that.
I didn't know you had a crafty floor.
We're going to get you a nice death.
I'll get you some drawers for you.
Mike, are you going anywhere for the holidays?
Because like we could invite you over.
Someone's gone.
It's,
it's a host of yo tank's giving.
That I'm,
yeah, host of your Thanksgiving.
Play. Play Demio
if you're interested in this because this was a blast.
This was a lot. I love that it went from
PVP to now PVE
with their already made
Dungeons and Dragons campaigns,
which was awesome.
And I think you can make your own.
If you dive even deeper into that,
I think you can make your own scenarios going on
and play with friends.
So like this game seems to have some stuff to it.
It's one that, you know,
with Nick being gone this week,
we lost our fourth.
Yeah, we're going to have him play Dispatch.
I would love if Bless could replace him
and we do some of those streams.
I'd be down.
There were some very,
very funny moments, though,
where I don't know if Blessing could reach
the level of ineptitude.
you know and that did bring so you're like you just got to make you know there were just several moments where nick goes damn
i got to read the i got i should have read it
cards don't read any of god he goes off a vibe let's get blessed like a couple of drinks in and then
have him jump on the stream no but that would be a lot of fun yeah but i mean i'm down the moment of him
being like mike i'm going to come save you all right this is like i turn myself into a rat
this is one of the rare like sponsor streams where i look at it i was like damn i want to be on that
But, like, the calendar, I was stacked on the calendar, so I wasn't on it.
But, like, I wanted to play this.
Remember we were exploring the apartment, too?
Because, like, he's got the table.
And then you could also, like, kind of back out if you were in VR, like, you know, with PlayStation VR, too.
And, like, you can explore all around.
I think that's the cool.
Yeah.
They did a great job with that.
Really, really, really neat.
Great game.
Anything else we want to talk about before?
I'm going to play Anno this week.
Oh.
I'm never playing Anno.
I'm going to play Anno this week.
Wasperon's going to force him.
you to play that. I got two big ones. I'm going to play
Anno for the first time. I'm really in the mood for
a city builder, Andy. You and I,
we enjoyed Jurassic World Evolution
3. I know you put a lot of time into that,
and I love that. I've been itching for
more of, like, city building.
That one has too much management
to it. I just want to create the park.
I want Andy and Nick to manage it
for me. You could go like super easy mode
on it. I know, but like, I'm looking for
like right now a city builder, and I'm hoping
Anna will do that. I don't know what
ano is at the end of the day, but like,
I'm hoping it's more like I'm putting down the roads and the grids and we're building things out.
I'd assume it's a historical SimCity.
I'm crossed my fingers.
Yeah.
And then one more that I had.
What game is that again?
I'll Foxyel Gamer.
We were just talking about Demio Dungeons and Dragons, but right now Mike is talking about Anno 117, I think.
Yes.
And then my final one for the week because there's only one week left,
Bartnight, Simpsons, cross Fortnite.
It's finally time to jump into Springfield before it's over.
There has never been a better time.
Bart Night because Bart Sinford.
Oh, gosh. Okay.
I didn't know that's what they're calling it.
Yeah, yeah, Fortnite.
But yeah, I have to play that.
I have to see it.
Have you guys gone in and?
No, I've been wanting to.
I hear nothing but good thing.
Same.
Like, they made Springfield really dope in this.
And it's going to end, so I have to see it.
There has never been a better time to hop in to Fortnite.
I alluded to this during our Xbox reactions, but I've been playing Slade Aspire.
The first one, I got it for phone because when we went to Pax, I sat next to,
to a girl who was playing Slay the Spire on her phone.
And like in my head, I was like,
it's genius.
Yeah, and I was like, oh, is she going to Pax?
And I was like, Slay the Spire is probably just a popular mobile game.
Like, she probably just plays or whatever.
But I've been thinking about that because I play a lot of magic the gathering on my phone, as Mike knows.
And I was like, you know what?
Let me just download Slay the Spire, play it on the Bart, you know, play it when I'm just hanging out or whatever.
And I've been playing it.
That game rocks.
I understand the hype now.
I understand why everybody's, like, all about Slade the Spire.
It's addicting.
it very much feels like less so of a one-v-one card battler and more so your cards are just attacks.
Like you're just balancing this battle system and trying to balance your attacking with your defending.
And it's funny because as I've been playing this, I've been hopping into some other games,
into the grid was one that is out in early access that came out.
Right.
Oh, I had it pulled up.
It came out recently, right?
And it is like a first person sci-fi, almost like a cyberpunky vibe of a Slay-the-Spire type game.
But playing that as well, that has been super cool to kind of see that same battle system applied to a, to a first person.
I'm fighting 3D models in a really cool looking space and then I'm in an overall map going from spot to spot and like a hacking kind of thing.
Dude, into the grid is fucking cool.
But yeah, been checking out both those games, really liking both of them.
Yeah, Slater Spider, they got a board game as well.
You can bring out to your friend.
Yeah, they do have a board game.
Yeah, I see it all the time whenever I go to Gamelandia and check that out.
Little callout.
Got out of Shalady.
Now, Andy, every time he brings up Slay of Slay of GameLandia.
Spire, you know what my mind thinks of?
Not a card game. I think of risk of rain.
He says that. There was a big new update recently.
I feel like, it's like, when you say Slate Spire, I just think risk of rain for some reason.
There was a massive risk of rain update that is like reviewing incredibly well.
Another game I want to go back to, but I'm also just super sick of y'all ignoring my text about
Night Rain.
Yeah, what's up with that?
