Starting point is 00:00:07 Yo, what's up? Welcome to the kind of funny games cast for Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. I'm one of your host's blessing, Adi Elie Jr. joining me is the L'Croy Poppy, who I'm a little bit worried about Tim Ruma going Gettys. If y'all watch Games Daily, there was an energy that was brewing that, like, I can't really explain, but like it's continuing here. And right before we went live and it's happening right now, I feel like I'm going crazy. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm sitting here and I'm talking. and I hear myself. I hear my voice back like a millisecond
Starting point is 00:00:40 after I say things and I was like, Kevin, I think that the speakers are like coming through for my mic and they're like, no, it's not and I was convinced it was. Andy talk, I was like, test, test, check, check. Yeah, you don't hear that? I was like, no, I don't hear anything. He's like, yeah, I'm hearing myself.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Kevin, wait, I hear myself. You're going to say. Tim, tap your mic. He taps it, nothing. There's no feedback. I'm hearing. I think it's just where I'm sitting. I'm getting some reverberations
Starting point is 00:01:05 that are just fucking. with my like central core of my ears dude. Yeah, your centrifugal forces. Oh, man. Of course over there is the nitro rifle, Andy Cortez. Hello. That was a lot of, man. That was insane. To the point where I was like, I was so with Andy, it's funny because if it was like one other person sitting here, then it could be a back and forth kind of thing. I think me and Andy were both of the mind of like, we don't hear shit.
Starting point is 00:01:29 It's nothing going on. We did not hear any sort of echo. And Tim is so adamant. Oh, dude, I was at it. I mean, I still am. I still hear. I still hear. But I trust you guys. It is just the reverb. It is just, I'm going to survive. A great elaborate prank. If we're like, hey, Kevin comes to us, hey, we're going to turn up Tim's mic.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Only his monitor. Yeah. Just don't acknowledge it. But I think it's oncoming fatherhood. Your, your ears get stronger. It's all happening here. The thing is that we, I think we got to the center of the problem is I never sit in the middle. Right.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Like, I never knew. Like, pretty much on any show. There's not a show. Yeah, where you're in that position. Yeah. Yeah. So it is an interesting place to be. Real quick, I want to hijack this.
Starting point is 00:02:06 show already. Hijack it. Andy, after I went crazy, brought up a story about his dad. You want to give the quick version of that.
Starting point is 00:02:14 I was back home visiting my family a couple of months, like a month or so ago. My dad has this like Timex watch, one of the old school dad watches.
Starting point is 00:02:22 And an alarm was set on it and it would go off every night. But the register of the sound is so high that my dad couldn't hear it. So he never knew it was going off.
Starting point is 00:02:34 And I just thought I was like, dad, what? I was like, you don't hear that? It's going off right next to you. So it was just like this whole funny thing of us always making fun of him because he couldn't hear it. But then he thought he disabled it one night and he was like, my watch isn't
Starting point is 00:02:46 even here. I was like, Dad, it's right to, I hear it. He was like, oh shit. So yeah, it was just him having this watch issue with his hearing. And that just reminds me to what I'm going to call my glory days. They weren't. These are the days when I was a little piece of shit. Me and Alfredo in high school. All right. It was junior year biology class. Mr. Donahue,
Starting point is 00:03:02 RIP. He was a great man. He did not deserve the shit. that he got from anyone in that class, but specifically me and Alfredo. He also had a watch that every single day at noon would, beep, beep, do some alarm. What it was for? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:17 It was probably for medication. We probably shouldn't have been fucking with him. We didn't know that. We were dumb-ass 16-year-olds, right? So what did me, Alfredo do? We thought it'd be fucking hilarious to buy the same watch that he had. You know, I knew where this is going.
Starting point is 00:03:31 It's kind of funny, though. For a week straight, we were just at different rent. sometimes just having it go off and this poor man, dude, this poor man, he was like, what's going on? He couldn't figure it out. He's like, it won't turn off and it wasn't his. Oh, that was so not cool. I thought you're going to like synchronize your time to be the exact same so that when his watch goes off, yours goes off the same time. Which I do think is funny, but for you to fuck with him and be like, so, dude, he was going crazy. He got so angry. I don't think I've ever seen a teacher like in front of the class start getting that upset. He wasn't blaming the kids.
Starting point is 00:04:03 He was just getting mad. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't do that, kids. Don't do that. Be better. Of course, this is the kind of funny games cast. Each every weekday, we get together and talk about the biggest reviews, previews, and topics in video games live on YouTube, Twitch and on podcast services around the globe. Wow, feels like different on the side of the table. Does it?
Starting point is 00:04:24 Does it sound different? Yeah. Is there an echo? Maybe I'm not crazy. All right. Maybe the seats have differences. If you love what we do, support us with the kind of funny membership on Patreon, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcast. to get all of our shows, ad-free,
Starting point is 00:04:39 watchers accord them live, and get a daily exclusive show. For a chance to be a part of the show, some of your thoughts and opinions as YouTube, superchats as we go. Some housekeeping for you we're in 11-person business, all about live talk shows.
Starting point is 00:04:52 KHD was about rumors of a state of play next week, and then after this is a skate stream. If you're a kind of funny member, you can get today's Gregway, which is, do we know what today's Gregway is? No, we still don't know. Greg is, do we know who's doing today's Gregway?
Starting point is 00:05:03 No one could possibly know. Oh, God. All right, well, you're going to get a Greg way. Well, we promise that. I did have a panic moment the first time that question was asked today on Game Silly where I, he looked at my phone on the counter. I was like, is it me? I was like, no, it's not me.
Starting point is 00:05:14 It's Mike. It's Mike. Cesey Bish in the chat says, I was a shit in school paying for it as a sub now. Take that sentence for how you will. I can't imagine what that karma would look like if you were a bad kid in school and then you grew up to somehow become a teacher. Yeah. I feel like you're, I feel like you have it coming to you, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Yeah, that sounds about right. Like, that's very brave of you to do that. Especially a sub. Thank you to our Patreon producers. Man, we're so messed up in the brain because I can't even say the word sub without thinking it. Thank you to our Patreon producers, Carl Jacobs,
Starting point is 00:05:50 Omega Buster, and Delaney the Psalm twining. Today we're brought to you by Shady Raisin Factor, but we'll tell you about that later. For now, let's start with topic of the show. Tots. Were you listening to the stream when Nick kept bringing up?
Starting point is 00:06:06 Femdom? No, but I did get a slack from Joey O'L that said, hey, we can't let Nick travel anymore. He came back and said Femdom way too many times. He said a lot. You said a lot during the history. Our topic of the show is a shit list for you. We're talking about the 25 best PS1 games of all time. Of course, if you don't know about the shit list, the shit list is our segment where I go online. I find a top 10 list or top 25 list in this case. And I bring it back to the panel here. And we judge it for your amusement. The 25 best PS1 games of all time.
Starting point is 00:06:43 It comes from IGN. It was written by the IGN staff and it went up September 15th, I think. Is that 16th? But that's a lie. I think I just wrote that as today. It went up a few days ago, I want to say. Bless, I already told Andy this,
Starting point is 00:06:56 but when I was in Paris, I was with a bunch of games, media people, meeting a couple of them for the first time. And there was this very nice gentleman we're getting to know each other. And he was asking me, he was like, what's your name? What outlet you from?
Starting point is 00:07:06 And I was telling him, I was like, what's your name? What out of you from? And he's like, the gamer. And I immediately was like, oh, fuck. Like, I really just, I apologize. Like, I hope that I haven't offended you. Uh, he seemed cool, but, you know, there was,
Starting point is 00:07:17 you aware of like the, no, I didn't actually bring it up. This was more of an internal dialogue. But yeah, I, we've done a lot of damage here. Oh, yeah. We've talked a lot of shit. We've talked so much shit, but that's also the spirit of the show. And also, they should know. When they're putting up those, they put up like 10 lists a day.
Starting point is 00:07:34 And every once in a while, they're good. Oh, yeah. They're good. But every once in a while, it's like, we got to have a conversation here. And that's what we do on this show. We're about to have a dialogue. So I pulled up the article. It was originally posted August 21st.
Starting point is 00:07:46 It was updated September 15th. What that update was. There's a new PS1 game that came out. That added to the list. Where do we start from here? Where do you boys want to start? Top 20, we have to kind of define the criteria, right? Top 25 PlayStation 1 games to me means it's going to be all games that came out on PlayStation 1.
Starting point is 00:08:06 third party exclusive or otherwise, right? Yes. Because I don't think we're getting just 25 exclusive games. No, no. Consuls didn't work that way back then, specifically PlayStation, right? So I feel like there's a couple of the heavy hitters. Can I give a hot take? When we're talking about the 25 best PS5 games or the 25 best Xbox games,
Starting point is 00:08:25 I hate when people limited to exclusives. I'm like, just keep an objective. The 25 best games on this platform. That's my hot take. It's not a I think that that's a fair take. Thank you. I don't like it. I don't like it either.
Starting point is 00:08:38 I'm glad you said it because I wasn't going to say it. Because like what if the exclusives aren't the best games? There's so many good third party games. But I feel like if I'm talking about the 25 best PS5 games, Eldron Ring better be top two on the list. Yeah, but then is Eldon Ring supposed to be top on every list? Don't say yes, boys. Yes, fine.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Top Xbox games, Eldon Ring. Top PC games. Eldon Ring. Balder's Gate 3. Eldering just only play Eldon Ring. That's all I'm going to say. Why not? So then what...
Starting point is 00:09:07 When we're talking about criteria, yeah, I think we're bringing in third party. Because I think, yeah, you're right, that this is the era where Tony Hawk, Pro Skater on PlayStation is different from Nintendo 64. Resident Evil on PlayStation is different from Nintendo 64. Totally, totally. And I think that even then, it's just like PlayStation Studios
Starting point is 00:09:24 didn't even exist then as a title, but like they weren't dropping hits. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like it was like a lot of... There were some, but it's not like it is today where it's like when we start the bidding of, like what are the top games on this list?
Starting point is 00:09:37 And we just jumped to the naughty dogs. Well, I guess here you kind of do. But naughty dogs are insomniax or whatever. It's like, it is more just like, what are the big games? But do you think at the end of the list will notice, okay, they gave a bit more favor to PlayStation Studios. No. There's Prap of the rapper. There's, no.
Starting point is 00:09:56 You don't think so by the end of it will be like. Because I don't think, I think on PlayStation, the most defining games of that platform, weren't necessarily PlayStation like published games. Because let's start there, right? Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, Castlevania, Sympagia in the night. Three third party games I define the platform.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Hmm. Because I'm, well, I look at the Swiss and I'm like... And they were exclusive to be fair, those three. Yeah. Which one of those weren't exclusive? Symphony the night was on Saturn. You're right, yeah. But we don't count that.
Starting point is 00:10:25 We don't count that. Yeah. Because like now I'm just thinking of all of the 989 game, like 989 Studios. 99 sports. Like those are just those weird sort of defunct
Starting point is 00:10:37 publishers and But I don't think any of those make this list. If MLB 2001 with Chipper Jones on the cover isn't on the list I'm gonna go crazy right now
Starting point is 00:10:46 I'm gonna go sick of him Jimper Jones dude Come on So I think it's easy To start listing off Like the The games that are for sure
Starting point is 00:10:53 gonna be on the list There's gonna be a crash Multiple crashes Yes I imagine I imagine Team racing would be the multiple
Starting point is 00:11:01 Oh I see I see Crash 2? Is that the one? I think in modern times especially if they're updating this list I think Crash 2 is the one that gets the most critical reverence. What franchise do you think has the most entries?
Starting point is 00:11:18 Potentially Final Fantasy. I mean Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is on the list. Yeah. I agree. See, I would even question what publisher has the most entries
Starting point is 00:11:32 because I think Square Inix is going to be fucking in this thing. Absolutely. Final Fantasy tactics. Mm. I mean, let's talk about let's talk square. Do we talk about
Starting point is 00:11:42 Chrono Trigger as a PS1? No, because that was part of Final Fantasy anthology. And I don't think, I hope they don't put that on the list. Those are just straight up ports of games together. Like that,
Starting point is 00:11:53 I don't think that that should count. Oh man, are they going to put my baby vagrant story on there? Oh, they're going to put a brave fancy musashi. Oh, man, brave fancy. Dude, I don't fucking love brave fancy musashi. I can, I can, I mean, top 25,
Starting point is 00:12:04 Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9. Fair enough. Type in the down. Final Fantasy 789. Twisted metal 2. Is that the only twisted metal? Yes. Really?
Starting point is 00:12:19 Okay. I mean, it's the only great one. There's just, I mean, when I, yeah. I think if I would feel more like that if there were, this were a top 10 list, but 20, like, there's a lot to fill out this list. Yeah, but like the PS1 twisted metals, like, there's twist, only two of them were, made by incognito and then the rest of them were 99 studios like three and four were bad games nine eight one was like a launch title or it's close to i don't remember and then but two was the good one
Starting point is 00:12:47 so i think just to him too do we had any sports love do we have NFL blitz do we have a blitz yeah blitz is kind of the main one i can really think of it's funny because what about game breaker 98 oh man i think i had the devil this for that it's to me is such an arcade game yeah that i know there reports, but if, and maybe the, I don't know why I associated more with N64, yeah, the multiplayer side, I don't know, but. I already wrote down Tek and 3. Oh, for sure, for sure. Which Grand Turismo?
Starting point is 00:13:17 Two. Grand Turismo, too. Yeah. That's the thing, I think, we, I think there's enough easy ones here that, like, if we get to, like, the past 20 and we're, like, digging for things, then I think we're talking about Blitz. Okay. Silent Hill. Oh, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, too. Probably Resident Evil 1. I think Resident Evil 1 as well.
Starting point is 00:13:39 What about Siphon Filter? And our pal, Gabriel Logan. I saw somebody, so my friend Eric, he was at a bar yesterday, and he sent me a picture of the TV at the bar. There was like a random video game on there. He was like, hey, what's this video game? And I looked at it. And I was like, I have no idea what the fuck this video game is.
Starting point is 00:13:55 My best guess is Siphon Filter. And I went and Googled Shifilter. It was Siphon Filter. Nice, dude. That's awesome. That game rocks. I don't want to be Gabe Logan, though. I don't want to be gay, Logan.
Starting point is 00:14:08 So, so far, we have 15 games written down. I think Parapa the Rapa gets mentioned. Yeah. I think it's like number 25. I think it's too iconic. That's my thing. 25, sure. It's just like, I don't know that it deserves a spot on the list.
Starting point is 00:14:20 And I love The Rapper for what it is. But like, yeah, iconic, it fits. But otherwise, not so much. Is, I forget what the Street Fighter Library looks like on PS-1. The Alpha Games. Yeah, the Street Fighter Alpha 2 or 3, maybe? Maybe. I think it was Alpha 2.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Alpha 2 wasn't the one I played by I played it on Super Nintendo. That shit rocked. Yeah. Good ass game. Um. I'm writing it down. I'm trying to not look at chat. I'm trying to like get into the depths of this stupid,
Starting point is 00:14:52 I know. We have so much stuff written down. Spiro. Yes. But which one? And this is like, I'm not one. Yeah. I'll say three.
Starting point is 00:15:01 No, it's not you're the dragon. Come on, man. It's simply not you're the dragon with a skateboard and stupid friends. It's not out of it. I just fucking spiral. three, let me play as that kangaroo. I think it might be Spiro 2, Ripto's Rage. Ripto's Rage.
Starting point is 00:15:15 To be real, though, I'm not in on this early Spiro games enough to... I think one would be mentioned. I would go with... If I was to pick a Spiro game, it would be one. I'm just going to write down one. Spiral the dragon. I feel like the quality of two is the critical one, but I feel like that's the case for most of these games, but I don't know who the IGN staff is at this point.
Starting point is 00:15:37 You know what I mean? soul reber for nerds right i also associated that with dreamcast but still really oh did we say tomb raider oh shit yeah no we did not i don't have tomb raider written down i'm a known tomb raider hater i'm a tomb raider but also it's going to be on here and that's another one i don't know which one god i play the beginning of tomb raider so many times i'm freaking butler no memory fridge no memory a tomb raider is what i what I ran down. Did you know? Actually, no, I'm going to say this
Starting point is 00:16:08 for a game showdown question. Did you know? Did you know? Because Roger asked me a question about Tomb Raider. And I answered it. I was like, it has to be this. And he was like, no.
Starting point is 00:16:15 And he told me the real answer. I was like, that's going straight to game showdown. Wow. We tell you, there's more to Tomb Raider than you know. Oh, man. Okay, we have written down 19 games. I still feel like we're flowing. I feel like we're still.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Yeah, we still got room. If we're going by genres. Okay. So Andy mentioned sports. I feel like I don't think we had much there for sports. unless we do the NFL Blitz thing. I don't think a Jet Moto makes it, even though I really like Jet Moto.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Yeah, racing. We have Grand Turismo. Ridge Racer? Oh, a Ridge Racer. A Ridge Racer. And that's another problem where I played the PSP one the most. So, like, I don't know which one was popping like that,
Starting point is 00:16:53 but yeah, PlayStation Ridge Racer. Is this too early for the Need for Speed era? I think so. I feel like Need for Speed peaked on PS2. Really peaked on PS2. But people liked it on PlayStation 1. Legend of Dragoon. people like a lot.
Starting point is 00:17:09 I'm gonna write it down. Yeah, that's more of like, I wouldn't bet on it. I have an old school call out. What's that? Ein Hander. Wow. I played the fuck out of Einhander, dude.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Yeah. It was like, this is a German word, I think. I put that in, I put that in like the brave fancy Musashi of like, like, if you know, you know, but like, is it gonna make a top 25?
Starting point is 00:17:31 Zeno Gears. Oh, yes. See, RPG was gonna be the next one I bring them, because the PS1, I feel like was the RPG machine of the era. Yeah. We already have Final Fantasy's written here,
Starting point is 00:17:41 which was dominant. But like, do we, do we have anything else from Square or beyond for RPGs? I mean, that's like vagrant story. And I said Krono trigger earlier, but Krono Cross. Oh, Krono Cross.
Starting point is 00:17:54 It was not nearly as well received as trigger. But, like, I do think that it's still a good game and people have love for it. So, yeah, put it on the list. I think it's also, I think it's also important to note that, like,
Starting point is 00:18:07 it's not we're not just going for the most popular thing because i think some of these answers will be very deep in the duffy of like oh you chose that that was a very specific choice because you know that that game didn't get as much critical or as much like you know monetary love and financial success that it should have but that's like a that's a low-key banger i feel like for if you want to have a great list you got to have the yeah the picks for nerds the picks where it's like if you know you know that this is totally to me that's vagrant sorry nine-hander like those are two games that i feel like we'll get shout-outs. That sounds right.
Starting point is 00:18:38 But I think that at the same time, because of how many were Tom on on PS-1, Zeno Gears, I think, is the lock. Yeah. Like, that game is blown up. Vagrant story.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Spider-Man! Never soft Spider-Man. I love that. I hope it's there. I hope it's there, too. I'm writing it down. Because for the time, dude, that was so good.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Now it's really tough. Yeah. God, that's iconic right there. So special, though. I mean, honestly, like, never soft Spider-Man in 1999 is
Starting point is 00:19:01 what I credit my love to Spider-Man, too. Yeah. Like, I watched the cartoon and stuff and really liked it, but that game made me fall in love with like the world and the character Stan Lee being the V-O. That's so sick.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Jumping off Aspired Man, licensed games. What does the licensed library for PS1 looks like? 102 Dalmatians. Jackie Chan Adventures. Fuck yeah. Come on. Jackie Chain Stump Master is what it was called. Great. Jackie Chan Adventures was the cartoon. What a master? Jackie Chan Stuntmaster. Stump Master. What do you think
Starting point is 00:19:30 I said first? The first one I heard stump. Stump Master. Oh, yeah. He wrote Stumpmaster. Master of Stumps I can't really think I was just thinking of old school GTA games Do any of those get a shout? Grand The Dotto's probably there Oh you think so
Starting point is 00:19:47 Yeah I think that's one of those games that like Like two It has been retro Like reconed of like Hey everyone thinks three is where it all started But really this was a great game Yeah And also Greg always surprised me
Starting point is 00:20:00 I'm just being young here I'm very old But like for the context of the conversation where Greg always surprised me where he played Grandfrodotto, the OG, like pre-3. He's old. He's so old. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, that's nuts. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Oh, my gosh. Speaking of that, though, Driver. Oh, shit. I feel like Driver wasn't that great. At least I don't remember it, excuse me, being that great. I remember playing that at a friend's house. He had Driver, and I was like, what is this? I hated it.
Starting point is 00:20:25 But there was something about, like, the way it controlled that I feel like fucking, I, I, I felt like, oh, man, like, real gamers know how to play this. I just don't know how to play. But I feel like maybe it was that at the time. Yeah. Like, I've, I've looked at gameplay driver recently in, like, previous seasons, the game Showdown prep. And I'm like, this game does not look good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Oh, here's a big kind of callback for Bless, Parasite Eve. Oh, yeah. We got to write it down. We got to write it down. Shout out to the goat. That's a deep. Parasity Eve. One day I'll play it.
Starting point is 00:20:56 All right. We got 27 games written down here. I'll just go through them and do any last picks. So right now I've written down Final Faces 7. MGS, Castlevania at Symphony the Night, Crash 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, Crash Team Racing, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, Final Fantasy is 8 and 9, Twisted Metal 2, Tekin 3, Grand Turismo, Silent Hill, Resident Evil's 1 and 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Spiro the Dragon, Prapa the Rapper, a Tomb Raider, a Tomb Raider,
Starting point is 00:21:23 a Ridge Racer, Legend of Dragoon, Zeno Gears, Kronocross, Vagrant Story, Spider-Man, and that's 25, and then goes on GTA, question mark, and then Parasite Eve. we have 27 games written down here and so far I think a lot of these look good yeah I'm really trying to think of like okay empty my mind
Starting point is 00:21:42 going to a friend's house because I didn't have a PlayStation at the time what do they have what are we playing Ridge racer for sure I just stumbled across another real deep cut that I feel like we'll be on there for the hey we know ball
Starting point is 00:21:57 type of pick yeah that's good that's a good pool WWF Smackdown Oh I think so For top 25 though I mean
Starting point is 00:22:10 Because like that wasn't no mercy It wasn't no mercy But it was PlayStation's The closest thing they had Smackdown If that's so then then Blitz better be there You know like that's the type of level of game I'm thinking of Yeah
Starting point is 00:22:22 Because Smackdown iconic but like And then it's there are other iconic things NCAA game breakers Just going to the sports games that I've played Man That's a good poll remand one I think we're two in the Duffy
Starting point is 00:22:37 I think the ones that we have great but yeah I mean it's yeah I feel like the ones that we have I'm putting above the ones that are radin right now Klanoa God there's some fucking good that's more than nerd like Rayman and Klanoa are the
Starting point is 00:22:51 Sweakidin and Vagin story of the platformers yeah people in chat are mentioning Mega Man God no yeah that's what I thought like what was it Oh
Starting point is 00:23:01 8 Ape escape I wouldn't put it in a top 25 Keep Ape Escape out of here Roger, don't bust in this fucking door No I'm also kind of a hateful I'm not even Apescape Hater
Starting point is 00:23:12 Oh Abe's Odyssey The Oddworld Yeah that's a good call That is a PlayStation game man Dude ape escape Tim Number 23 in the highest Metacritic scores for PS1
Starting point is 00:23:23 I think Abe escape should be on Like has to be on list We're not supposed to look at list By the way To 90 oh I mean hey I'm not on the show enough So this is Put away your laptop All right
Starting point is 00:23:32 Okay. And also I don't remember things. We've written down a lot of games here, 31 games. What I want to know from you guys then are, oh, and also I meant to ask for Super Chats at the beginning of this. Oh, shit, gex. Super chat in with your favorite... No.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Go on shit gex. Okay, first of all, we're just saying the names of games now. Gex. We're not talking about the top 25. Thank you, Cosimo. Star Wars. Masters of Terra Kostic. We're just saying that. Yeah, that's what I love games.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Super chat in with your favorite PS1 games is what I was going to ask on the top of this. And I'll check and we'll check and we'll. talk about them. But what are the guarantees for top 10? Let's work through the top 10. Let's try to order it. Number one of this list. The top three we have locked. Yes. Final Fantasy 7, Mellar your solid, Cassavania. Okay. And what's the order? Before we do the top three, I'm in lock number four is Tony Hawk's pro skater two. Oh, damn. That's good. Oh, okay. I think Tony Hawk won. I think Tony Hawk 1 also gets in this 25
Starting point is 00:24:30 list? I don't think so. I really don't think so. Pizza bet. Pizza bet. Yeah, I think you're right to it. Because I'm looking at everything else on this list and I'm like, it's hard for me to put anything else above. Thank you. Pizza bet. Pizza bet? Yeah. Pizza bet. Wait, what's this bet we're making? That I think Tony Hawk won will be in the top 25.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Oh. Not just, like just somewhere. 24, 23, wherever. Okay. Because yeah, yeah, like, what would the other contenders be then? Like Final Fantasy Tactics? Grand Turismo 2 Grand Turismo 2 Tekken 3 Yeah But I think
Starting point is 00:25:04 Resident Evil 2 Oh RE 2 R2 Is RE2 The number 5 We're talking about then Yes Grand Turismo number 6
Starting point is 00:25:16 TECN number 7 I like this Dude you're fucking crushing I think so He's crushing the top 10 right now God Dadmo just got you It elevated you
Starting point is 00:25:27 It elevated you Holy shit. Okay, and then 1, 2, 3. Metal Gear Solid. You don't think Final Fantasy 7, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania. I agree.
Starting point is 00:25:41 I think they put Final Face 7 above NGS. I don't agree with it, though. I don't agree with it. That's not what I would pick, but that's what I think they'll go with. Tim is so deep in thought. Oh, man, I just, you know, I want to get it right.
Starting point is 00:25:57 I want to get it right. There's no wrong answer. You're trying to nail this top test. Yeah, you want to nail this top 10. There's no wrong, right. We're just in a good place. Yeah. I like seeing a Tomb Raider.
Starting point is 00:26:08 An average racer. I mean, I think for sure the top two is seven and Metal Gear, right? Yeah. Yeah. I get your guys' argument, even though you didn't really make an argument besides saying it's definitely one. No, and I get it. I think the argument is icon status and popularity, which I know Metal Gear Solid has as well. But I think there's something about Final Fantasy VII that's bigger than life.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Especially for what it did for like RPGs in the West. like the Final Fantasy JRP And environmentalism What it did for the planet I'm with it I'm with it Seven metal or solid Symphony of the Night top three
Starting point is 00:26:42 Yeah and then you're saying T-HPS2 Resi 2 Grand Turismo I forget which one two And then Tech and 3 We need 8 through 10 I feel great about that
Starting point is 00:26:53 I need you to crush just 8 through 10 though Tim I need you to send this shit home right now Big Dog Because we have crash two We have tactics We have crash team racing We have other final fantasies
Starting point is 00:27:02 Fuck. Silent Hill. A Tomb Raider. I mean, looking at this, I think we go Crash 2. Okay. And number 8. And number 8.
Starting point is 00:27:14 And then Von Piscity Tactics. And number 9. And then what's your 10? I'm going to go, part of me really just feels like Final Fantasy 8 gets like that sort of retcon love.
Starting point is 00:27:32 No, I think eight. 8, 798, if we're talking 6998, okay. Those one time. And maybe it's just Ben Star. There's too much divisive things about eight. The junction system isn't for everybody.
Starting point is 00:27:46 I think Ben Star just got in my brain too. Yeah, nine is like, I think it's so different. Like seven and eight have more similarities. Nine is like, you know, that at a totally different look and vibe. One time when I was like 18, 17, 18, we had internet issues at home. and so I called the internet Comcast dude to come help fix shit and he comes through and he needs to use my laptop
Starting point is 00:28:08 so I get my laptop and he sees that I have games installed and he's like oh you're a gamer he was like you ever play Final Fantasy 8 and I was like no and he was like best game ever and that's my complete impression of Final Fantasy 8 the people that love 8 like they love based on that guy I'm like
Starting point is 00:28:22 File Fantasy 8 might be top 10 I mean just based on my podcast I'm gonna tell you this right now like y'all you boys right now You're now very familiar with Tifa Lockhart. Yes. Right?
Starting point is 00:28:36 You're very familiar with ERIS. Right? Whatever you want to call her. You know, you understand the feelings that these digital characters have made you feel. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:44 You haven't met Renoa. Like, y'all don't know what Renoa can do to a man. Renoa. And any man that's learned what Renoa can do. From eight? Because I started up eight on my,
Starting point is 00:28:55 on my retroid pocket, allegedly. And that intro was just not the most explosive. start. Well, yeah. I fell out pretty quickly and that's when I started Vagrian's story and got really deep into it. Is number 10 Silent Hill?
Starting point is 00:29:12 Yes. It could be. I'm going to say yes. I think that's a good bet. Yeah. I feel like that would complete this top 10 fairly well. Yeah. Put it there. So our prediction hoping to nail this top 10, I feel like by the time we get to number 10 on this list, we're already going to fuck up. Yeah, this is like picking, like predicting what the NFL draft is going to be. Yeah. It's so hard.
Starting point is 00:29:31 It's so fun though. From 10 to 1, our prediction for the top 10 is Silent Fantasy Tactics. Wait, is that right? Yes, he said, yeah. Oh, they said Tactics. So I think, yeah. Final Fantasy Tactics at 9. Then we get Crash 2, Tekken 3, Grand Turismo 2, Resident Evil 2, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Man, a lot of great sequels. Castlevania, Symphony in the night. At number two, we get Metal Gear Solid, and that number one, we get Final Fantasy 7. That's the prediction. I feel real good about that. We're going to read some of your super chats, and we're going to get into the list But before we do want to tell you about patreon.com slash kind of funny and YouTube.com slash kind of funny games where you can get the kind of funny membership, which allows you to get shows ad free. Shout out to a super chat from the homie Jace with a $2 super chat. who really just throws a wrench into this whole top 10, even top three, I would say. Which is all the Superbad says, Tumba top three.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Tumba. Which is like, you know, I always call it Tumba. And some people were like, Annie, it's Tomba. T-O-O-T-O-O-M-B.
Starting point is 00:32:48 And I was like, oh, fuck you nerds. If you, if you call that motherfucker, Tomba, it's Tumba, it's Tumba, okay?
Starting point is 00:32:56 I don't care if you're right. I played it back in the day. I played it recently, because they re-released it. Oh, it's rough. Dude, I imagine so. Most old games like that.
Starting point is 00:33:04 But why did we all collectively call it tomb? Because it's not spelled like that. Because it's the word tomb. You look at it. It's the word tomb. Like, where you bury somebody with an A at the end. But like,
Starting point is 00:33:13 that's weird that our brains did that. Because like, I don't know why it's not tomb. You're right. I never thought about it like that. It's a thousand percent. It's a tonbo. Like all except Tomba.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Okay. The chat has thrown things into a tizzy. All right, everybody. Hot shots golf. Freak thrown out there. Marvel versus Capcom. Oh, out there. Oh, whoa.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Yeah, but like, I feel like that's a dreamcast situation, right? That was Marvel's Capcom, two. Wait, which one are we talking about? Marvel's Capcom one. I don't think it makes a new age of superheroes. Was that more of a PS1 yet? I don't think it was a PS1 game. It was an arcade game.
Starting point is 00:33:52 A Saturn game. Hot Shots golf does really. Hot Shots golf, I think, is somewhere on the list as well. 23 for Hot Shots golf. I'm saying it right now. 23 so we're gonna push down where we push now nice on so we're gonna push down zeno gears for hot shots no no no no no you gotta do what we haven't organized we haven't organized which one of these games are you removing for hot shots golf huh final fantasy nine
Starting point is 00:34:15 Resident Evil one spiral the dragon we've only organized one to 10 leg legend of dragon you don't get but like putting one in means we got to take one out I think that Zeno gears is top 15 okay I can see that okay okay okay we got a whole bunch of what about super chats in here let me go through your super chats real quick we got one from Scarlett Libra who says hey Tim
Starting point is 00:34:40 how was Lincoln Park saw them live also for the first time ever last month in Chicago with oh with Paris opening it's Paris spelled with a V with Paris like churches Coverses that game chorus cores cores
Starting point is 00:34:56 yeah corbs whatever happened to corves I heard it was good really yeah whatever happened to jet the far shore blah. Come on, man. 2020 was a different time. There was announcing anything as this PlayStation showcases.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Yeah, Lincoln Park was fucking awesome. Do you know who the headliner was? Or not headliner. The opener was? No. JPEG Mafia. No. Damn, that sounds like it would have been great.
Starting point is 00:35:18 It was fucking awesome. Holy shit. Jim C. writes in and says, Spiro 2 and Crash Team Racing would be at the top of my list. They're two of my top five favorite games of all time to this day,
Starting point is 00:35:28 and I still have my original PS1 copies that got the year they came out. Later Storm says the Legend of Drag. Why did that echo and reverberate the fucking world? I heard it to the speakers. Not that I heard through the speakers.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Legend of Dragoon is better, says Later Storm. Riley 21 says Tenchu or Tech and three. Of course, we got to TechM three. Tenshu we didn't really talk about. Yeah, you know, Tenchu is one that I just, I don't have enough. That'd be like a top 40.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Kevin loves Tenchu. Kevin loves Tenchu. Oh, really? Which is the one where... Dynasty Warriors. He loves Dynasty Warriors. What game had realistic, like, slicing physics? Metal Gear, solid, red-rides. No, the PS-1 game. Oh, chat, you got me on this. It was, like, kind of a fighting game, but like more, like a... Bloody Roar? No. Boushito Blade. Boushito Blade. Yeah. I saw gameplay Boushito Blade for the first time, like a few months ago on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:36:28 I don't know how this happened. The algorithm is just crazy. But I saw it and I was like, what the fuck is this magical video game? That's awesome. And I looked it up, I was like, yo, Bushito Blade's kind of different. We don't talk about Bushido Blade. You can pull up some footage of Bushito Blade? And then Bloody Roar, please, thank you. Hell yeah, dude.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Bloody Roar, if you don't know. Do you know what Bloody Roar is? That's another fighting game, right? It's a fighting game where each person turns into a different animal. Which is cool. It's like the coolest thing ever, man. We just don't do it like we used to. Cozy Bear says Star Wars Masters of Teris Kasi.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Trevor says, I loved Rayman, too. the great escape as a kid. Well, that's the thing. I mean, Rayman and Rayman 2 very different games. 2D platformer, 3D platformer, and both top tier. I think Rayman 2 is like in the conversation of like best 3D platformers of its era.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Whereas Rayman 1, I just think, you know, you're not comparing it to like 2D Mario and shit. But there weren't that many 2D platformers on a PS1 era. Yeah, this is Bucito Blade. First of all, the aesthetic just brought me back. I was like, man, this is what games should look like. This is what we should be putting out. Did you all see that?
Starting point is 00:37:29 Did you all see that Twitter? thread where some old game or rather some new sort of indie title. It was like a game dev talking about the process of the making of this old, of this new indie game that is doing like old aesthetics and they were trying to replicate the PS1 wobble. Whoa. So whenever you see PS1 games and there's always like weird textures type stuff happening. And then I forget who it was, but it was something.
Starting point is 00:38:00 somebody from like the old school development on PS1 that was like, we spent so much time trying to get rid of this shit. And you all are like trying to bring it back. Like I spent so many hours of my life trying to not have that PS1 wobble thing. I'm sorry, Andy. I saw a chat that just literally made me fucking burst up laughing. Sweet Joseph says, bloody roar turned me into a furry. That's a joke. It was Star Fox.
Starting point is 00:38:25 Okay. It's good. It's good. Kababs, right, it says, The Emperor's New Groove by Argonaut Games, and then in parentheses, says Croc. I don't get it. Croc?
Starting point is 00:38:38 No, Emperor's New Groove. Was that a PS1 game? Mm-hmm. What year to Emperor's New Group? Wait. 2001? It's based off of, like, the animated movie. On the PS-1.
Starting point is 00:38:51 Yeah. There's no way that lined up. PS-1 games came out after PS2. We did forget about Dino Crisis. Did we, though? I but again because of what these lists are I think that some of these games will get more love than they deserve I get it but we just have such good it could be on list it could be on the list
Starting point is 00:39:11 and I'm also going to throw out another prediction that Soul Reaver will be on the top 25 it should I think so too Nina McKee says Spyro Year of the Dragon the third one I'm right there with you Nina overseer Jeff says Digimon Rumble Arena frog or two DVZ Ultimate Battle 22 If I see If I see fucking Frogger on this list It's automatic
Starting point is 00:39:35 There will be held to be I need everybody to understand That I've been gaming my whole life And there's never been a single video game that I bought And absolutely hated And forced myself to play
Starting point is 00:39:52 For countless hours Because I'm like there's no way I hate this Oh okay Like I have to like this There has to be something here Digimon World And the people that love that game I bet if I played it now
Starting point is 00:40:04 I'd still hate it But I'd play it and be like Okay Y'all are the type of people That like fucking Elton ring Okay got you got you Not really Eldering But like just not my type of games
Starting point is 00:40:14 It is such a fucking deep ass Like RPG in a way that's like No one's asking for this I just want to fight with War Greymon On And my Pokemon's out here pooping War Greymon by the way War Greymon
Starting point is 00:40:26 What are they doing? With these D-German? Second only to Black War Graham-On. Let me guess. Does War Graham-on have weapons? Like, does War Graham-Gramon have a gun on this? So that's Graham-on. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:36 War-Gremon is him in armor, and he has fucking Wolverine Clause, dude. It's so sick, and he's a big-ass cock. And this is the game that you hated? This game? It looks real cool, actually. It looks kind of cool, yeah. I'm like, it looks like some shit I want to play. I never got this far, though.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Like, I'm in the beginning when my Pigemon's just fucking pooping everywhere. And I'm really happy that you guys. just like breeze right past and sitting as a big hard cock. Yeah, well, I didn't hear that. I didn't realize you said that. Can you imagine this, but like the Pokemon's just what to him just say?
Starting point is 00:41:08 I didn't realize that you said that. Yeah, I missed that too. I can't, well, I was more stuck on the fact that you were just throwing shaded Eldon ring. Like, and I think that's just your sort of repressed issues. Don't bring it up. I think you're dealing with the fallout of me. I'm mad at Andy.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Just saying that, oh, it's a Metro Dred. It's a good game. It's a good game. I'm like, because, yeah, I think I'm with Andy where I like, I like Metroid Dread. Well, there are games that are better than Metroid Dread. I'm not saying there aren't. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Okay. I'm not saying there aren't better games. What's the disconnect? Just this word good being thrown around. Kevin, can you bring up the kind of funny scale? You know what? I would say great. I would say great.
Starting point is 00:41:44 And I don't want to hear any numbers. I don't hear any fucking words from you boys. I would say, but as well as you know that Andy said good seven times. It's great-ish. It's good-ish. It's good point five. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:55 It's not bad. It's not a bad. I think it's at least great. I think it's all right. Now you're going lower. He just went down to a five. That's nuts. Sekiroz,
Starting point is 00:42:08 we haven't even on the list yet. Caspavia Simpitya and Night brought me back into gaming this year. I was on the verge of quitting because of expensive content thin modern games. Proud owner of a physical copy. There you go, shout out Simpathy in the Night. But then also, I feel like we could find you some modern games
Starting point is 00:42:22 that you'll like. There's modern Metro... There's never been a better time. For Castlevania Symphony of the Night fans. Motor World hype says, not in any order, Ridge Racer 4, best of the PS1 Ridge Racer games. Tech and 3. I like that.
Starting point is 00:42:36 I don't have that information. So let's change our Ridge Racer to 4. To 4. Okay. And then they also say Cassabania, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Grand Trismo 2. Luis Castillo says, Tim announced a new baby on Mexican Independence Day. Did you know that? Do you mean to do that?
Starting point is 00:42:52 It was very purposeful. Is that what happened in Mexico? Hey, man. A lot happening. I mean, congratulations. Yeah, like, you know, LDICD. Somebody do the match on when to Mexico.
Starting point is 00:43:02 Yeah. When did you go? BG. 2580 says, what about Brave Fancy Musashi? I mean, come on. I don't know if it's 1225,
Starting point is 00:43:09 but like, if it's there, I'll be happy. It's a top 10 in my heart. Sky Force Lin says, do we see Madden or traditional sports game? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:43:18 Here's my thing. I don't think so. I don't think so because, like, I'm not a sports game guy, necessarily. Like, there are certain ones
Starting point is 00:43:25 that do like Ambed Street Volume 2 and whatever. whatever, our standouts to me. But, like, even I am a fan of video game history. And, like, it's not like we're talking about, like, NHL 94 on the Genesis. Like, there are certain specific sports game. 2K-4. 2K-5.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Yeah. NFL 2K-5, right? Like, there's certain games that I'm like, those are the ones. And I don't think there's any PlayStation 1 sports game that's like that was the one. Oh, is it Randy Moss. Was it T-O or Randy? I used to play college. Oh, it was developed by 989.
Starting point is 00:43:51 So I think it was college game. It was Gamebreaker. Gamebreaker. Yeah, it was like 99 or something like that. I had Game Burger 98. I was hooked on that. What was this school? Was it Duke?
Starting point is 00:43:59 Was Duke good those years? No. What was the Duke's was never good at football back? He never made a basketball. No, I'm thinking basketball. Basketball. Oh, yeah. March Madness.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Okay, maybe it was March Madness. Duke has always been, yeah, very good at basketball. Yeah. Whatever was, I remember like, because I'd always go with the University of Illinois because I'm from Champaign. And then Duke would always be the one where I'm like, yo, fuck this. Fuck, Duke. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Everybody hates Duke. Get these hands. What is Duke? North Carolina. It was all the rich white kids. Really good. Duke. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:28 The more he said, the more it doesn't sound like a real place. Duke, though. Was that always around? Well, we would always make fun of this dude in middle school
Starting point is 00:44:39 who, uh, I don't know, like, they held them back, but we call them flunkes. Like, if you,
Starting point is 00:44:46 if you flunk, if you flunk to grade, you got held back. And they were called flunkes. And he, that's crazy. That's fucking crazy, dude.
Starting point is 00:44:55 But, like so he played he still played basketball so he was like a year older playing basketball but we would always make fun of him because he to this day me and my friends we'll just go yeah i'm gonna go to duke and we're like you're not fucking going to duke bro like you got to be like it's a private school for smart people and he was i'm gonna go to duke no you're not bro you got held back a year you got held back a year yeah i'm gonna go play a duke oh you're not uh and then we have one last super chat from random piece who says megamian legends belongs in this list chat out
Starting point is 00:45:25 Shouted to hidden gems like RC. RC. to go, Rising Zon, the Samurai Gunman, and the port of Hydro Thunder on PS1. RC to go. I have no idea. Is it arched this?
Starting point is 00:45:36 Oh, is that what they? This is a typo. Because they write R.C. to go. They did write RC to go. I don't know what that is, but yeah,
Starting point is 00:45:45 there was like an arc to lad. Yeah. Yeah, which I don't know if that. I'm going to type in R.C. to go and I'm going to type in arc to let. No, R.C. No, R.
Starting point is 00:45:52 It's an R. Oh, shit. It's an RC game. Oh, okay, yeah, no, that's not going to be on the list. But Mega Man Legends is a good poll, as well as I see in the chat, Mega Man X4. That's also a good poll. But we're getting to the point where it's like that there are, these are great games. Will they make the top 25?
Starting point is 00:46:07 They definitely could. They'll be on a top 100 list. But X4, though, is a standout of the X games. But the problem with Mega Man is you get to that point where there's just like, there's a lot of really good ones and then there's a couple standout bad ones. I think X2 was like the last one I played. Oh, yeah. I never even like tried out three and four.
Starting point is 00:46:24 although I did try out Mavercunter and like Buhmourg PSP remake of one Boo Boo I Jen I need the top 25 NC4 games list
Starting point is 00:46:35 That's all I'm gonna ask Because I had fun doing this We're gonna hop into the list proper But like I want to do this conversation again With N64 games Because I feel like I'm more of an expert in that realm And like I think we've done that before
Starting point is 00:46:47 But fuck it let's do it again It's always fun Because like I feel like PS1 needs A rated to rumble boxing That's what we need here You know what I mean? It probably came to PS1, I just don't remember.
Starting point is 00:46:56 But that was like a cousin game where every time I went to somebody's house, they always had rated rumble boxing. Yeah. And like, that's a top 25. Anyway, they're hopping into IGN's list, the 25 best PS1 games of all time as determined by the staff. And coming in at number 25,
Starting point is 00:47:12 Praappa the Rapper. We fucking called it. All right. I think we said this is a 25. It's too iconic, brother. It's too iconic of a game. Like, it's one of the few old IPs that still just gets mentioned all the time because of how weird and unique it was.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Yeah. Big punch. All in the mind. If you can't test it, I'm sure you'll, I forget the words. Yeah. Number 24, we got Um, Jammer Lammy. Odd world, Abe's Odyssey. Yep. Okay. Yeah. All right. We're knowing it so far. I like this. And number 23, we got
Starting point is 00:47:47 Spider-Man. Hold on, I got to check our actual list, because this might actually be lining up pretty well. We didn't even like organized them fully, which is fine. I think we were at a good point, though, because I do think that, like, after that top 10, it is kind of just like a podge-podge of, like, these games. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:04 And number 22, Medal of Honor. Oh, shit. Did you all play Medal of Honor? I didn't play it, but this was a, this was a big hit. You know, this was like back in those the day when it's like storming Normandy, it was like still a big deal. Dude, yeah, man. My dad bought me.
Starting point is 00:48:19 In video game fashion. Yeah. Because Save your Private Ryan had just come out and it was like a big deal for us to see that shit in video games because I was like otherwise how do I know that like they actually did that shit how much crazy shit do you think Tim says well we're not listening? I feel like
Starting point is 00:48:35 when it's me and Andy you know that we're not listening to every single word and so Tim just gets some crazy shit off the time. I'm right though dude I'm speaking from facts. And number 21 we got Ape Escape I'll allow it for Roger. So far I fuck with this
Starting point is 00:48:51 as a top 21 through 25 So far, yes, but this does mean some things are not going to make the list. True. That upset us. You think because this game is this low? No, just be like, like, Medal of Honor. We didn't have that on our list, which means that are the 30 games we have aren't going to make a top 25. That's true.
Starting point is 00:49:09 That is how that works. That's how math works. This game, Medal of Honor, by the way, is where the first time I learned about the potato masher grenades. And those are the ones that were like a big cylinder with like a handle. and you would just toss these fucking grenades. It was like the first time I'd ever seen those things. So that's my dad. It was like,
Starting point is 00:49:28 I never was given games ever, like for my birthday maybe, but this is one random one where I dad was like, let's go to Best Buy. I bought a game. I was like, nice, Dan, thank you.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Who published a Medal of Honor for PSW? Yeah. Really? Yeah. In the game. And I assume they still have the IP, right? Oh, yeah. They try to bring it back every like five years.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Because I was going to ask. Yeah, they brought it back like six or seven years. Yeah. Wasn't there like a Medal of Honor BVR game? Yeah. Yeah. Metal of our used to fuck.
Starting point is 00:49:55 That's well, I was going to ask, like, how mad do you think they are that, like, this isn't Call of Duty? But then when you say it's EA, where I'm like, okay, well, they also have Battlefield, but they try to turn into College Duty all the time. Yeah, I mean, College Duty wasn't hitting on PlayStation. I mean, yeah, I mean, this early, yeah, you're right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, there was a Call of Duty on PlayStation. No.
Starting point is 00:50:13 No. Medal of Honor also was just such a World War II thing. Yeah. You know. Strong Normandy. Yeah. I'm just saying you were there early with the war, with like, the first-person shooter, war IP.
Starting point is 00:50:23 And like the biggest game in the world now is that it's like, man, I feel like when I was that early to it, it's the Skype thing of like, how did you not clutch, clutch up? Yeah. And number 20, we got Crash Team Racing. Hey, I mean, I love this. This feels right to me. It could be a little higher, but like, I love that it's here. I'm also just very happy that over time this game has earned its love. I feel like back when I first started talking about video games professionally, like people would laugh me out the fucking room when I'd bring this game up.
Starting point is 00:50:52 And now it's like, oh, y'all motherfuckers know. This is actually a great racing game. People learning. And number 19, you got siphon filter. Yeah. Which, like, we didn't really explicitly bring up. I mean, we talked about it and we didn't put it on the list. Yeah. And, like, I kind of stand with that.
Starting point is 00:51:10 Yeah, I tried it for the first time when they did the whole PlayStation Plus revamp where they added in the old classic games and they had siphon filter in there. And I was like, oh, let me give that shit a try. Oh, I did not like that. I did not like that. Because Siphon Filter is on the list, because Ape Escape is on the list, I think they are definitely going for not a whole lot of multiple game entries, but like the names that meant something. I mean, maybe, but the thing is... Because I see Siphon Filter, I'm like, there will be Soul Reaver here.
Starting point is 00:51:42 Apiscape, though, I think there's like a critical reception and reverence that Siphon filter doesn't have. And if Scyphil just has the name, and that's why I'm like... It's one of those names that does mean something to the hardcore audience. Yeah. Sorry, I'm reading a chat that says. You're everything about how silly our lives are. Blas just said, it's like the Skype thing. Like, how could you not clutch up?
Starting point is 00:52:07 Here's the you said that and you didn't need to explain further. We all just know. Yeah. You fumbled it at the one yard line. And number 18, we got Soul Reaver. Yeah. There you go. Andy called it.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Yeah. a little lower than I'd expect for if this is going to be on the list, I'd think it'd be higher, you know? But I also do think that it wasn't best on PlayStation. And I think that when we're talking about these top things, that stuff does come into consideration. Like if a game was on multi-platforms and was clearly superior somewhere else, like that is going to affect it.
Starting point is 00:52:41 The way that I'm looking at this list now is what games best represent the PlayStation 1 as opposed to like the highest rated type stuff. because, like, throwing out this and Typhin Filter and Prap of the Rapper, I'm like, that's what I think of when I think of the PS-1. But those three things aren't alike, though, man. No, well, I mean, in what way? What do you mean? I feel, I get what you're saying in the sense.
Starting point is 00:53:04 I mean, no, no one's thinking PS1, Soul Reaper 1. Like, Soul River 1 was not associated with PlayStation 1 in the way that Ape Escape or... Oh, I disagree. Or something filter were. I just think, to me, it's just like a name representation. Like, they are representative of what the PS1 is rather than these are the... best game Soul Reaver was. Man, I do. I think now we're just at that point where it is for the hardcore is that if you know ball, if you know the PS1's lineage, then you know that Soul
Starting point is 00:53:31 Reaver was a game that didn't sell a shitload. Wasn't the most popular thing, but it's like we're kind of hitting all of these marks. We hit the Seifilter, we hit that mark, we hit that mark, we have Per Rapper the Rapper and we'll see less games. I think we will see a lot more misses in our list the rest of the way and we will see more like Parasite Eve type shit, Dino Crisis type shit, you know. Interesting. Yeah, I was more on Tim's side, but I'm seeing a lot of people in chat say no, Andy's right. They're doing reccom stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:00 I'm telling you, dude, like back in the day, Soul Reaver on PlayStation 1, that was not representative of PlayStation 1. But that's what I mean. Like, I think this list. With Apercape and So, Seinfilter, yes. I think this list is doing a lot of like, hey, they weren't popular now back in the day, but they are so iconic now, even though iconic's definitely
Starting point is 00:54:19 a big word to throw out there. Moving on to number 17 on the list, we got Final Fantasy Tactics. Damn. Damn, way lower than I expect. Yeah. That fucks with the top 10 already. Oh, does that?
Starting point is 00:54:32 Yeah. Yeah, we had that at number nine on the top 10. Moving on to number 16. Ridge Racer type 4. Okay, there you go. A ridge racer was on the list. And we got there with the help of chat.
Starting point is 00:54:46 They nailed out number four. Oh, really nice. Yeah. And number 15, we got Xeno Gears. Wow. Another one. Wait, we put that at 15, didn't we? No, we put that at 10.
Starting point is 00:54:57 Did we put that in the top 10? We didn't put that in the top 10. Yeah, Zeno gears, we never actually. We didn't actually get there. Yeah. That's perfect, though. I think I might have just said that would have been top 15. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:05 Not specifically 15, but this works. Yeah, you did say that. Coming in at number 14, we got Final Fantasy 9. Okay. This isn't the one that my Comcast guy said he loved. No, no, no. But yeah, I mean, so... Is this the one that has the character that you're talking about that's going to make us go crazy?
Starting point is 00:55:21 No, that's eight. That's eight. I mean, fuck. I'd be shocked if eight's higher than nine on this list, but I almost feel like eight might not be on the list. But that's crazy with only 13 spots left, but that's continue. I mean, we got a lot of games talk about. We'll get them when we get to the top 10. But coming in at number 13, you got Silent Hill.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Cool. Coming in at number 12, we got... We had it at a number 12. number 10, by the way. Spiro 2, Ripto's rage. I told you. I told you's going to be two.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Ripto. We still got room for year of the dragon. That little skateboard. I love that game. Fuck y'all. But yeah, you said, Andy, that we had.
Starting point is 00:56:00 I said we would get one as well and it's not there. Oh, yeah, and silent, you're right. Yeah, Silent Hill we had a number 10 in our list, so we're off with that as well. Coming in at number 11, we got driver.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Oh, shit. Wow. Was not expecting. driver on this list. Wow. Wow. It's the type of list that I thought it was going to be. Actually, that might be kind of insane. Maybe I'm doing, maybe I'm
Starting point is 00:56:24 disrespecting driver. Here's my thing. But when we were talking about earlier, these are games that I never enjoyed, like I was saying, like they're way too complicated for me. Specifically, Driver San Francisco, that's the one I'm like, this is kind of donkey doo-doo. Well, Driver San Francisco, that was the one for PS3, right? Wasn't that the one where you're hopping between cars? Maybe I'm thinking about Driver
Starting point is 00:56:40 London. There was a PlayStation 1 driver game that I played a demo of and I really didn't like it. I played the shit out of this game, but I wonder if it's just this high because it is one of those names that you throw out and say, I know what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:56:58 Yeah. Funny enough to the Indies point earlier, I think I kind of throw this into like the, you know, Apiscape, I forget the other games you mentioned, but like we're hidden the marks. Per rapper the rapper, the rapper, right? Like, Driver isn't necessarily as iconic as either of those, right? But I think there is a level of association.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Yeah, like you go to, a friend's house and they have a PS1, if they have driver, that's going to be the afternoon. Yeah. So that brings us to the top 10 before we get there, what do we think is now that the list has been shaken up, right? We've already seen Silent Hill. We've already seen Final Fantasy
Starting point is 00:57:29 tactics. That shakes up the, at least our number nine and 10 that we had in our original list. I mean, let's just ask this. The other eight do we think they're all here, because I still do. So the other eight we had written down our crash two, Tekin 3, Grand Turismo 2, Resony Evil 2, 20 Hawk Pro Skater 2, Cassavania and Symphony and Night,
Starting point is 00:57:46 Metal Gear Solid in Final Fanes and Seven, that's in ascending order. Yeah, I think they're all... I think they have to all be there. The question is, honestly, what is the other two that we're missing? Tomb Raider? Probably.
Starting point is 00:57:57 Tomb Raider in the top 10? Because they're Andy's point of the... It's becoming a name list. It has to be there. And then what's the other one? And people did like those games back at the time. Yeah. So then are we thinking the other one is Resident Evil One?
Starting point is 00:58:10 Are we thinking Rayman? We think in Smackdown? Sween it in. Paraside Eve GTA vagrant story I'm gonna say GTA I like GTA
Starting point is 00:58:19 I think GTA might be the one GTA is a very representative thing yeah all right well coming in at number 10 we got crash two Cortex strikes back
Starting point is 00:58:30 lower than expected because I put it at five well now well now I'm thinking are there multiple crashes at eight no
Starting point is 00:58:38 you can crash at eight okay so not that far yeah I don't think there's multiple crashes Okay. Because again, I think the two is the one that critically, like, when we're talking about like how good the game is, looking back at it all, I do think it's the best. At least gimmicks, best gimmicks expanded, not as weirdly difficult as one.
Starting point is 00:58:57 But then we got Crash Twin Sanity that up the ante on the entire franchise. You know what I mean, guys? My first Crash. Did you know the soundtrack to Crash Twin Sanity was entirely made with mouths? No. No way. Kevin, can you bring up Crash Transit sanity soundtrack? It's like smooth
Starting point is 00:59:14 groove Say that dude It's Timberland He's doing the beepbox I thought you're gonna say It was done my Michael Jackson I was like Tim I'm sorry
Starting point is 00:59:22 I'm sorry for me Um Oh I had something I lost it Oh I was gonna say my first crash game What was the other one that came on on PS2 It was like probably the first PS2 one That was my first crash
Starting point is 00:59:33 Wrath of Cortex The first non-noddy dog one I'm so sorry for you That was my introduction to crash Hampster ball I'm pretty sure that ruined crash For me forever Yeah I didn't even realize
Starting point is 00:59:41 That wasn't a naughty dog one No it wasn't Because now I hate Crash Bandycute. Like, not even a joke. I don't fault Crash Bandy Coo. Oh, wow. I don't like this. The whole fucking game.
Starting point is 00:59:56 This reminds me of early 2010's YouTube. Yeah, smooth the groove. Oh, is that what the references? Yeah. I was thinking of like, isn't there one called like Pentatonics or something like that? You're like an incredibly popular like Billboard Top 100. Acapella. Very different than smooth
Starting point is 01:00:17 McRoolew on YouTube Isn't there one? That's fucking You all know about Pedetiotics? All right Coming in Number 9
Starting point is 01:00:27 Vagrant story Yeah Hell yeah Come on That was why Andy kept A piece of Dude
Starting point is 01:00:33 If they fucking ever remade this game I would lose my shit This game is so much better And so much more Amazing because it was such a It's a game
Starting point is 01:00:43 that I rented back of the day for reference and I never got back to it, but I was always just so fascinated by the key art and the look and everything and replaying it on the Retroid Pocket. I have like eight or nine hours into it. I do want to pick it back up again.
Starting point is 01:00:57 But it was one of those where I showed it, and he was like, oh shit, this is like a really late PS1 game. The level of production in this game is on another level. It is crazy how advance all of the... It was like the first time seeing Metal Gear Solid cutscenes with the camera work and all the... I was like, I can't believe how awesome this shit looks. And it's got like turn-based combat, but when you want to fight, when you go into
Starting point is 01:01:24 combat mode, a big orb goes around you. And if an enemy's in that orb, then you can attack them. But you can attack either their head, their arms, their torso, or their legs or whatever, and different things do different damage. But then when they attack you, if you have a parry set to one of your buttons, you can real-time mash that shit. say Expedition 33 and when the hit hits and if you have Perry set to
Starting point is 01:01:49 be and or Circle or whatever and Circle does that Perry whatever like it is crazy how good this game and how like far ahead of its time it was and this is one like oh my God if they ever decided to remake this shit I would just lose it. I mean I knew what showing me and it's like dude it's a cool
Starting point is 01:02:05 look at this text box right here dude it is just it's so wild that wobble you're talking about yeah there's that PS1 wobble it's crazy like the amount of like how far advanced it was for its time. Yeah, I love that they have basically the Far Cry, or not Far Cry, fallout VAT system with the aiming
Starting point is 01:02:22 each of the limbs. So sick. It's so cool, dude. Well, that's number nine. Coming in, and number eight, we got Tekin three lower than I would have thought. What did we have it on a... We got a seven. Five. Oh, did we? Oh, we did have a seven. We're pretty good at this. Yeah, that's
Starting point is 01:02:38 close. What a game. Oh, my gosh. Dude, honestly, like, talk about a advancement, right? Tech and one. Good. And that's for the time. Yeah, for the time. But still, compared to then two, it's like, oh, shit, up in the ante. And then three, my boy.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Come on. Eddie Gordo. Come on, man. Teach me about Capoeira, a word I still can't say. Banana way. I'm hearing my voice again, everybody. I knew all about Capoeira because of only the strong, the movie with Mark Takakis. Watch that movie on HBO all the time.
Starting point is 01:03:09 I never saw it, but I want her now. Oh, dude. It was all about this teacher who, like, went to this. I think it was one of those, like, sort of white savor movies. He's not even white, I don't think, but it,
Starting point is 01:03:19 it was like one of those movies were like, you know, it was like an American. It was like, you know, a school where it's a bunch of troublemaker kids, but the teacher's like inspiring and stuff.
Starting point is 01:03:31 And at one point he gets like, he, I think he maybe gets jumped in the parking lot, but then he like fights and whoops all their asses and all the kids like, oh my God, our teacher's cool as shit. And they all learn capo
Starting point is 01:03:40 and they're all doing like the fucking Eddie. Then when I played Tech Inn 3, I was like, oh my God, Only the strong Mark Takas. Crazy. I love that. Good movie, dude.
Starting point is 01:03:49 And number seven, we got... There it is. Oh, my God. White Sabres. There's only the strong. And number seven, we got Resident Evil 2. Yeah, dude. Which I think lines up.
Starting point is 01:04:02 We had it at number five on our list. Okay. At number six, we got Tomb Raider. Oh. Hell. Which we said, get the fuck out of here. on our list. We're like,
Starting point is 01:04:14 ain't no Tomb Raider on this thing. I mean, we literally had a Tomb Raider on the list and I do think at the top 25, yeah,
Starting point is 01:04:20 but it's number six. Like this, it's a name thing. It's a name. You're getting by on the name in the IE. This is another driver. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:27 It's another Parapa. The Tomb Raider is the biggest one of those. I feel like that's not cool to be a top six. It's the biggest one. Cool. I mean, it's very big in two ways. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Jesus. Golly. Hey, it's not my fault. Yeah. The, yeah, They are doing a lot in there, yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:44 And that belt bugger is like covering her whole waist. It's crazy looking. I'm lost now. That was number six. What are you lost? You know. At number five, we got Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2. Oh, number five.
Starting point is 01:05:00 Which we had number four. Grow up people. Get some goddamn taste. We're talking about one of the highest rated games of all fucking time. We're one off. We're only one off. So now Grand Tourismo two. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Oh yeah. And then our top three. Yeah. I can't even hate on that. At number four, we got Grand Turismo 2. And we're at the top 3. So before we get to the top 3. Can we just shout out Grand Triismo 2?
Starting point is 01:05:24 Yeah. Like, can you pull up a YouTube video of this so we can see it in action? Like that PS1 look like we, Grant Trois 3A spec on PlayStation 2, a, you know, technical Marvel we look at it. It was like, wow, look what the PlayStation 2 can do DVD technology. But like, there's something about the look, the gritty-y-a-specinding just the like the the the the crunchy colors of
Starting point is 01:05:44 GT2 it's like damn dude this was a time for video games hell yeah I couldn't believe that like it just had normal cars I was always blown away by that in all the licensing well like no not even licensing just like oh they just got like Honda Civic I just expected it because based on every racing game
Starting point is 01:06:01 I had it was always like they're not race cars it was always Lamborghinis or Ferrari's or whatever was like oh shit they got just like a Toyota like oh I saw that down the street I think I have that car look at this You know what I mean? My aunt's fucking, yeah, Lexus or whatever.
Starting point is 01:06:15 This is a PS1 game. Like, that's just so impressive for the time that it came out. Yeah. Man. That's a racing games in general. Like, shout out to like the racing games that push the fidelity of shit. Because even Grand Tourismo 7, that was the latest one, right? Yeah, seven.
Starting point is 01:06:30 Playing that in PSVR 2, that is a religious experience. Like, I don't know if y'all have tried that yet. If you haven't, like, if you could do it once, play Grand Turismo 7 in VR. No, I can't do that. If you want your life changed. There's a very, there's a very old episode of party mode where we played, I think,
Starting point is 01:06:48 Drive Club VR. And it took me out about, it took me out a couple days. Oh, wow. From the VR. Like the amount of times it, it was hard to play, we were on the,
Starting point is 01:06:57 on the racing wheel, but the amount of times that, like, I would break, I would hit the brake pedal, and I would see my car stop, but my brain and my, yeah, fucking,
Starting point is 01:07:09 what's the word on? like equilibrium and shit was still moving forward. Oh dude. And I was like, oh. Wow. Like Dr. Strange. Dude, yes. I wanted to vomit so bad.
Starting point is 01:07:18 So I like went down the well. After I tried Grand Turismo 7 in VR once, I was like, hold on. And Michael High in my roommate, he has an actual racing setup with the wheel and everything. So I dragged all that shit into my room and like hooked it all up and like put on the headset so I could actually like fucking do this shit. Yeah. And whatever way it was set up just wasn't connected correctly. And so as soon as I hit go on the race, the car veered left immediately. And when I tell you, I felt like it was in a real car accident in real life.
Starting point is 01:07:48 I was like, oh, shit. I had to take it off. I was like, my heart's racing. I was like, dude, that was too real. That was crazy. Cool, Greg has been playing a lot of random video games, which is super cool. And he played this game called Gloomy Eyes. He did a review on a Greg way last week.
Starting point is 01:08:02 But there's a VR experience as well. And so Kevin helped set him up with VR. yesterday, Blessing, who sits next to my brother, just like, was like, whoa, Coogreg's in VR. And like, I thought Cool Greg was a spot. He was locked in. He was locked in. Whoa, Coogregg's in his headphones in.
Starting point is 01:08:20 Whoa, Coogreys in VR is the funniest thing ever. Everybody check out. Look at Coogre. Because, like, I didn't see him set up or anything. So I just looked to the right and like, oh, Coal Greg's in. He's jacked in. Buzz's opening the door.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Cool, Greg's a VR. All right, we're at the top three. Let's get a reminder of what our predictions are. I think me and Andy were saying Final Faces 7, MGS, and then Castlevania. You won't be over. I think that that is going to be IGN's list, yeah. All right. Well, let's see.
Starting point is 01:08:51 Number three, we got Castlevania Symphony of the Night. And number two, we got Final Fantasy seven. Stuck to my gut. Which means that number one, you guys. Got Metal Gear Solid. Very interesting. I like it. Very interesting.
Starting point is 01:09:11 Wow. I mean, it's what I wanted. It's what I wanted too. Personally, but that's awesome. Yeah, I love this. I mean, there's not really much we can say about this, right? Like, three iconic games, you talk about all the death. But like, yeah, like fucking Metal Gear Solid.
Starting point is 01:09:24 I think the argument there would be maybe how much it stands to test of time. Like, Meliger Salt, I think, out of all these games probably ages. Well, Castlevania probably ages. I think Castlevania probably the best. But Metal Gear Solid, I think in comparison, because those are the top two. I think that's the thing is Cassavani is kind of stuck at that number three spot. And so when you're looking at Final Face is 7 in Melger Solid, I think Metal Gear Solid probably ages better. And then also...
Starting point is 01:09:46 I don't know about that. Really? Yeah, because, I mean, I don't think Metal Gear Solid ages well. And I love Metal Gear Solid. I fucking love it. I still play it today. Like, I don't think aging well matters that much necessarily. But, like, I don't think Metal Gear Solid.
Starting point is 01:09:58 Like, Nick Sharpeno has tried playing Metal Gear Solid one a ton of times and he just simply can't do it. Like, I think that's the definition of not aging well. You know what I mean? Interesting. In that way. Fair enough. I think technically you could look back and go, whoa, how ahead of their time they were on this. But yeah, you know, the camera and the inventory and all that stuff can be odd.
Starting point is 01:10:19 The aiming. Yeah. But I think in comparison to Final Faces 7, I think that's where my brain, for me at the time trying to play both these games, I'd say post, like let's say PS2, PS3 era where it was probably the times I was going back and trying to play these. Metal Gear Solid just came way more naturally than a Final Fantasy 7. I would argue that Final Fantasy 7 is significantly more playable than Metal Gear Solid 1. Really? Yeah. And I'm also not saying that it aged perfectly or anything like that, but I think that more people could pick up and play.
Starting point is 01:10:52 And like the game still holds up from just like a gameplay perspective and visuals and all that stuff. When we think of how one-to-one turn base is now compared to what it was back then, and I think of the way third person stealth compared to yeah yeah like I should probably play that symphony in that game huh you really should Andy
Starting point is 01:11:11 yeah and I think that you would fucking love it I have started that game so many times on no less than six different emulator devices even like my old Android phone you know it's just a game
Starting point is 01:11:24 I've like always started up and played I've just never fully finished it Madrock says you know which of the three doesn't age Castlevania Symphony of the night and like that's a really good call I'm just like ageless and timeless. And you, I think, are more prepped than ever to play this game and enjoy the game.
Starting point is 01:11:41 And, you know, realize that there's a lot of really great Metroidvanias out there. Great. Good ones. Great ones. I also, we did our list yesterday of, like, backlog stuff of, like, games I would go back to. We had different categories.
Starting point is 01:11:58 A second change one I would put down would be Cassavania Symphony in the night. because I did try that on Vita and I just bounced off of it. I think modern day Blas could probably get into it a bit more. I might put them Batman Arkham games for the backlog discussion. Also, you know what was a good one that I didn't bring up
Starting point is 01:12:15 but I really, really meant to? The Yakuza series. The year without games. That's actually a great call. Like there's like 9, 12, 14 of them and they're all 700 hours long. A year without games would have been perfect for Yakuza.
Starting point is 01:12:31 Joey says Tim, I hope you never let Oh, let him live this down The disrespect. Okay, good, thank you. I appreciate that. I'll just say never would mean. It's a good game. What game do you think had the most impact between Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy 7?
Starting point is 01:12:43 Final Fantasy 7. There's not even a question. Like, Final Fantasy 7 is like, it's a fucking phenomenon. Like, in terms of just characters and RPGs and FMVs and look, I understand Meliger Solid. I understand that it is also one of them. But, I mean, not just one of them.
Starting point is 01:12:59 It is another perfect example of like, impact in video games. I think what's on the flip side of that, though, I don't know, like, Metal Gear Solid made the Kojima name. Yeah, but Final Fantasy, like, it's Final Fantasy. And back, we're talking about then.
Starting point is 01:13:18 We're talking about from Final Fantasy 6 on Super Nintendo to 7. On PlayStation, like, leaving Nintendo. Like, the amount of impact, the amount of the multiple CDs, like, there's just so much shit there. Also that video of Robert Panston talking about, like just being a a young horny kid in love with Tifa
Starting point is 01:13:35 and Ayrith Ever seen those videos? Yeah. What a cool guy. What a cool guy. Loved him next to be a good guy. I wonder if he met Renoa. That brings us to the end of the list, everybody. What are we rating this? Are we going to say that it's a thumbs up, aka it's the shit or a thumbs down, aka it is shit? You can't say it's like shit. I think it's like the shit.
Starting point is 01:13:57 I think it's the shit. I think it's the shit. I think if we really like it, we give it two thumbs. It's at least one. I'd almost be like, you know what? I think they got enough right that I'd give it two thumbs up. There's a couple weird things that I don't agree with or whatever, but like, I don't think there's any thing that I can't fucking believe that. It's like, all right, cool.
Starting point is 01:14:14 I'll give it two thumbs up. I think Tomb Raider being like, you know, higher than 17 is one of those that I'm like, yeah. Yeah, I'll give it a strong thumbs up. Yeah, I think this list is the shit. There was, to Tim's point. Like Metro Dred. That's a good thumbs up right there. Yeah, like, even as I'm scrolling with you, I'm like,
Starting point is 01:14:30 there's nothing here. I'm like, oh, how fucking dare you? That's crazy. Like there's, yeah, like you said, there's some disagreements. I don't know how I feel about Driver, but it's the thing where I know how I feel about games like Driver and Tomb Raider, but I also know that other people adore those games. And so it's like, yeah, like I could, I could see it. I'm not, I'm not mad at it. Well, that brings us to the end of another episode of The Kind of Funny Games cast. Before I get out of here, I do want to shout out a couple more super chats. Resolute writes in and says, 25 Parapa was the mascot of PlayStation, had an anime, and was the crowning moment of the last challenge in Astrobot.
Starting point is 01:15:02 But was the game good, though? That's the question. We're talking about the best games. We're not talking about iconic and all that stuff. We're talking about best. I also didn't know how to anime. Yeah. In Japan, yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:12 Was he just rapping the whole time? Not the whole time. Freestyle. Challenging people. And then we have one from all the name cuts off here, but it says inner jet station maybe. Far Jets, sure. Jet the Far Shore.
Starting point is 01:15:27 They say birthday tax. I turn 26 today and it doesn't feel real. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Unless you're lactose intolerant and then get some lactate first. And then eat it and then you're going to hoop and fart anyway. You know, how it works. Outwards.
