You know what my hype moment was? What's that? Following shortly after that, the orphanage. They recaptured the terror, got you back one more time with like, hey, this is something horrifying. Is there anything scarier than little kids? Oh, my God. You know what I mean?

Like the tic-t-t-t-t-k-k. Jesus Christ I didn't trust Ben for a week after I did. Oh my God. I was like, you stay away from you. We shave little bed's head and he started to run around the room. No, thanks. Oh my.

And can we talk about I had to call Tim? And you know, I don't like calling Tim. I don't like calling you or Tim after hours. Nick, I'll call anytime. I call him. I called Tim. I said, what the hell is going on? I can't get past these zombie girls.

And he goes, no, Mike, you walk up. Then you walk back. Oh, when they go away. And I was like, they won't leave. They won't get out of my way. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, what am I supposed to do with the zombie girl?

I did die to them. I did die to them that first time when I walked up on them. Yeah, they killed me twice because I thought I could run right past him, so I just bolted. No, they get a hold of you. But the zombie goes, when they hucked themselves off the second-story balcony, crashing that picked themselves up. Oh, my God. Get out of town, bro.

I love this setup we made for. But yeah, that was one of those things I had to be there for. The reveal, you know, when Big Baby chases them through the hallways and stuff, you're like, yes, this is so fucking good. Big Baby was so good of, like, trying to squeeze by Big Baby, trying to convince him to go one way, so you go the other way. Then having the redo of Big Baby where the zombies got up, you have a moment you can kill a bunch of zombies if you want,

or you can go run and grab the little girl. And then you've got to go back against Big Baby and not. a gate past Big Baby, is like, get out of my way, man. I'm just trying to get over here. Corey Cudney calls out a great one, the chainsaw fight. Oh, where you, when you have to fight him at the gas station with the chainsaw?

Yeah, the gas station chainsaw fight. I appreciate the way Resident Evil does its little cutscene or tip screens. Okay. When I died, I did them the first time, I fucking whittled everybody down. Okay.

I stood in the back, capping people, killing them, using all my weapons, throw stuff, and I just stood inside. and then chainsaw man came in, and I ran out, and it was one of those, like, got outside and then reloaded the wrong time, and he chainsaw. And it was like, consider fighting a chainsaw with a chainsaw. I was like, ah, thank you. I didn't realize I had to do that. I'll do that.

That's a great pull right there. Yeah, chainsaw man was super good. Two chainsaw fights throughout the experience were really, really well done. Yeah. The first one at the doctor's office where it's just flinging around, you could pick it up or the zombies pick it back up, and then when you go one-on-one with a chainsaw man, it's really great. One-on-one with a chainsaw man. That was fantastic stuff. How about meeting the little girl for the first time and going, what's up with the room next to you?

Why is there a hole in the wall? And then be like, I think that little girl turned into that giant girl. That's not good, you know? That's not what she wanted to say. Yeah, she was all. Man, they did a great job with that. When I was dying to watch Andy get on the sticks to try to navigate that basement portion. Yeah.

And I think he let blessing play the most. But like, that portion of me was so much fun because it clicked for me. I knew where I needed to navigate to. And all I could think it was like, give Andy the sticks. Let's see if he breaks right now, running around. I just want to see this real quick. I saw Jessica Chobot, I believe, put up on Instagram when she was playing on PlayStation. How good this looked.

And I stopped until it was. Damn, that looks great. It doesn't look as good here. Oh, on the Nintendo Switch? I mean, yeah, we're playing Switch, too, by the way. Yeah, but what's so much, just the crispness? Yeah, it was really crisp. It was more ambience, I would say.

Maybe. I thought it's always interesting because you find the codes for a safe that's usually not in the safe. Yeah, way far away. It's like, yeah, I felt like I got a code for that bar safe that wasn't that. You know, I didn't even put any of that together.

I didn't really have to worry about you, so I wasn't paying too much attention to it. But they did a great job with this. All of gray scenes here, just so scary in the first couple hours, for sure. I would say that section in Outer Raccoon City running around in Leon was the weakest part of the game for me. Where it was like, I'm cool Leon and I have all these cool moves so it's cool to kill zombies and I like the addition of basically like an arcade game here, right? I like whack a zombie and get some points and you can use

it. It's like, all right, cool. I like all. that. But then, yeah, just running around it was like, okay, like, I'm not enjoying this to a level where I'm like, this is justified everything that's going on. Yeah, that one, I didn't love out of Raccoon City. If anything, actually, I disliked it. Also, the large spider, we'll talk about that.

Put a pin in the large spider chat. I want to go back to that. What we'll do right now? Well, I didn't like the spider. What do you like? I don't like a large spider. That was a fun little throwback to what everything is. I mean, I guess. I don't know. I didn't like the large spider. I wanted zombies, but I did like the glass.

But, yeah, I mean, the open area is an interesting conversation because I didn't like it. And I don't hope that we don't go back to this. But I guess the other question is, like,

how long does the tight corridor horror maze last, right? before you're like, okay, I've done seven hours of this. We need to spread out a little bit, you know. Or can it be the whole game? Vushu says you can push past the chef without pushing. You can slip past the chef without pushing the cart. That's what I did.

I let him live for a long time until I was like, all right, now I've got the weapon or whatever I want you to beat him. Yeah, Chris Saga says, I killed the chef, and then he came back during the sniping sequence. I killed the chef as well because he gives you the key but then, yeah, I'm going to track that up as there was a second chef, Chris, or maybe somebody else.

There was a second shooter, Chris. Because I did kill the chef with Leon to get the key, so I don't know where that came from. That's the Sioux Chef, yeah, yeah. See, I'm trying to use the thing I did my first play-through. Okay, yeah, yeah.

When I didn't know the answer. So now I'm playing it. I'm like, wait, did I give her the old rope of dope in here first and then throw the thing out? Yeah, I am watching you. I'm interested in what you would do there because when she drops down this first one I ran backwards to the lights which is a save room right next you draws her over there and then when I came

into this year very much like she can't get yes I was underneath this a lot so it's right yeah you rope it up her you're going to come around yeah two chefs two giant babies two two girl monsters even though the other one doesn't turn into a girl monster Leon's shooting the little baby and then at the end he was like I didn't hit any vitals I didn't hit any vital signs all right there slap daddy You lit that baby up I don't know what you're talking about, Leon. Also, I say this as an unathletic fat man

Grace has got to run faster. A little more time is where I'm like, am I running or am I not running right now? I can't tell what I'm doing. And you know what? Talk to me. I want to flip her to third person. Oh, there you know.

Oh, that's what I was going to say. That's the problem is I'm so into these games now. Like, I'm really into it that I can't keep watching the trailers. Because they'd be spoiling way too much. They spoil way too much. Like, I know we got to sell and market this game, but, like, there are so many good moments that, like, they're just giving away in the trailer.

You got to cut that, you know what I mean? Stop doing that, y'all. Nobody wants to hold back anymore, you know? Thoughts on the plant in the canyon. The plant's the plant. You know what I'm fighting poison ivy. Yeah, yeah. Like I said, I didn't love Outer Raccoon City.

Didn't love that part of it. It definitely felt like, here's some bloat to slow you down a little bit. I didn't need it. I did appreciate here's the wristband, play it like an arcade video game. That was cool. I think it was such a great way, an almost understated way of setting it up. So, like, hey, if you're not paying attention, here's why you don't need, you can play Leon as an action game. Yeah.

Don't save your ammo. You know what I mean? You can get out there. You can have fun. We're going to give you some stuff. Kill them. Don't run past them. I did wish on a couple of the boxes they would sell more ammo.

Some of the boxes, like, didn't sell ammo. Or you buy it all. It's like, no, no, just like, give me as much ammo as I got. Because I'm killing so many. I've already upgraded all the guns. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What am I going to do here? You know what I mean?

Hook me up a little bit. Agreed. Hook me up. This little girl was terrifying. Aw, she was nice. A little girl is terrified. I mean, if they dress you like a Victorian doll, you know you're going to be bad news. Terrifying, it's right.

The motorcycle scene was dope. Greg loved that one. We brought that one up early is right. I think we went through the whole video game. We did, man. We lived it. It's just so good. It is so freaking good.
