We're deep diving into a latest and greatest release from Nintendo, an old school one, but now new school, a reintroduction of an oldie and a goodie. You've played it a couple of times,

but now you're going to play it for the first time, with a new skin, I guess, new look. Okay, yeah, well, even this, I've played many times already. I know you have. I'm over 10 runs into this thing. Welcome into your games cast plays for the week. It is Star Fox from Nintendo. Tim loves Star Fox.

I'm super interested in Star Fox. I've only bought Star Fox to use the avatars for the buzz. I have not played it yet. Oh, you didn't? I thought you were going to play this weekend. I had insane weekends. Oh, yeah, okay. I had a jam-packed weekend. I never, I... You know me.

We're very similar. Oh, yeah. We're homebodies. Oh, yeah. I would prefer not to leave the home. I would prefer to say no to plans. And they caught me just right at the rest of adventure. Shout to Greg Rice for an epic weekend. But he caught me. Yeah.

I was in this awkward moment. You've been there before. Uh-huh. We overstep and you say, yeah, sure. And you're like, oh, and I do that. I couldn't have said no. You know? Damn.

I could have been a whole plane Starbucks 64 for the upteen. So did I fuck that up? Yes. Am I happy? Yeah, of course. We're having a great time. But I'm excited to dive into a gamescast plays with you. Because you were like, Mike, I could beat this whole game in less than an hour.

Yeah. You've dialed it in. I mean, I think, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the kind of the standard. Like, it's, unless you're dying a lot, like, Like, especially if you've played this game before, you can know what's ahead, right? Okay, okay. I can imagine it being maybe more like an hour and a half if it's your first time and

like you don't know the patterns. Yeah, but once you got it downloaded in your brain, you're dialed. You know, you're kind of dialed in there. Well, Tim, it is a games cast place. This is more of our editorial live stream where we deep dive a little bit more into the features, into the game itself while showing it off and answering questions. So, of course, it's all the kind of funny best friends watching live on Twitch and on YouTube. And of course, later you can use the comments.

system, leave us some comments, but ask you questions about the game. It has released. It's had a full weekend now. Yeah. What is the reaction so far? Are you seeing your timeline still popping off on this? People seem really thrilled with it. Yeah, I think that the reaction to this has been above and beyond what I would have expected.

Okay. Especially after that initial reveal, I kind of, I think, let a lot of people, it was very divisive, but I also think that the negative energy was the loudest in my spheres. Yeah. And I also think there was the combo of even the people that were still hyped on it like myself. Yeah. We're like, oh, we're really remaking 64 again. Like, it's just, it's hard when I was, I got my mindset on it's going to be a new Star Fox.

Of course, you know. But getting this on my, how can I complain? One of my favorite games of all time is remade beautifully. Okay. And they do such a good job. This music we're hearing right now on the menu. I used to leave it on the menu of Star Fox 64 just to have this loop, and it didn't sound like this. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah.

This version is so. Damn good. It's a little quiet in here right now, so we're not getting the full effect. That's all I'm sure they hear it. I'm sure they hear the greatness. But all of the music in this game is fantastic. One of my things I love the most about Star Fox 64

is just how cinematic it is. I've talked a lot on the reviews and previews and otherwise for Star Fox 2026, where Star Fox has always been about pushing the technology forward a little bit about immersion in video games. Star Fox, one, had the Super FX chip, which allowed 3D game. play on the Super Nintendo, which was crazy.

Star Fox 64, giving you the Rumble Pack and V-O, etc., etc. Being here now, it's kind of like the fully realized vision of Star Fox. Okay. The story, the Lylat Wars, as they call him. Let me show you some. Well, I have two questions for you really quick. You can show me some things.

One was we never really dove into when you talked about cinematic. Yeah. We didn't really dive into the pre-Star Fox's dad cinematic, they were hyping up of like, hey, we knew that between missions, you were going to have new cinematics that were never created before, have some dialogue to dive deeper on the characters, which is awesome. But we didn't really talk about Star Fox's dad. And that was the thing like, oh, you're going to get a mini cinematic of Star Fox's dad kind of

the prequel to all this. What was that like? Is it good? We saw it. They showed it in the direction. Oh, yeah, but I just thought it maybe it would be bigger. That was it. Oh, really?

Yeah, that was just a prolog. I mean, in the original Star Fox 64, that was, if I remember correctly, like the title crawl. Oh, okay, okay. Yeah, maybe not even actually. I don't remember, you get the story though. It's told to you that Pygma of Star Wolf betrays Fox's dad James, and then James presumably dies.

He goes missing out on Venom. So that was always the back story. Okay. For the games. Growing up, I played Star Fox 64 way before I played the original Star Fox. Okay. And I always assumed that the original Star Fox was the story of James and that grew.

Because my neighbor told me that, but he was a fucking liar. I'll never forgive you. Okay, okay, okay. Fucking dude, yeah, yeah. When I finally played, I'm like, oh, wait, no, this is just the same shit. Okay, okay, okay. So anyways, I love this game so much.

Yeah. I don't know exactly what I wanna do here because let me show you this. Show us around. So this is the Lylat system, right? These are all the different levels. On the left, you always start on Cornaria, and you always end on Venom.

There's two versions of Venom. Okay. That's kind of like, no matter what. You always do seven missions in between. Yes, and then there's different paths depending on certain challenges or certain conditions in each level, which might send you somewhere else. Yeah. The kind of basic way to look at it is if you're on the bottom here, that's the easy path. If you're on the top there, that's the hard path.

Really? Zigzagging through the middle. That's kind of like, you know, the middle. Okay, okay. And that's not always through. It's not necessarily that their levels are always harder, but for the most part, I'd say that's the case. But if you play through, you need to get to Venom 2 for the true ending. If you get to just Venom, you're just getting the basic ending.

And here's the thing. Like, if I play this, we're probably going to beat it in one sitting. That's just kind of how this is going to go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The spoilers of this game, the more you replay. You just get more and more. And that's kind of the whole point. So I beat it many times.

When I was a little kid, I want it clear even now. I'm not good at this game. Like most video games, I'm not trying to get them good. I don't want the chat being like, wow, Tim fucking, like, He said this, yeah. No, all I'm saying is I love that barrel. Yeah, yeah. But you get medals.

You see that? Yeah, I would like to know about the medals on the side. So each level has a certain score that they're trying to get you to chase. And you need to keep all of your wingmen alive, the entire level, and you need to get the amount of hits that you need. They're all fairly challenging.

I don't think it's like the hardest thing in the world. And I was little, it was the hardest thing in the world. I always wanted to get medals, and I only got like a handful of them back in the day. It was also the N64 controller, different time, different type of experience, right? But now that I'm older, I'm like, I really wanna get the metals.

So how it's working here is, you can see each, I have most of them, but then the one next to it's grayed out. That's the expert mode, metal. You can't unlock expert mode at all until you get metals on every single level. No. Which I'm like, ah,

because the problem I'm facing is the only ones I'm missing right now are sector Z, Bulls, and Venom 2. Way at the end. the end of the game. Because of how this campaign works, you have to play the whole thing. And if I miss it, which I have done a couple times now, I'm like, ah. So it's kind of frustrating. But I've seen a ton of other people out there that like every time that they even play, they always get every metal. Oh, okay. I don't got to like that, y'all. But I'm just going to

jump in and then potentially I'll ask you what pass you on the take. Okay, well, no matter what We either got to go top or bottom, correct? No, you kind of like, you get up in there. Okay, okay. So let's jump in and see where the adventure takes out. Let's do it. Oh, wait, no. So where's the challenge?

Does it show you the challenge? So challenge is a separate. Oh, I guess to get the metal. The metal. When does it present what you need to do? You hit the start when you're in it. Oh, okay, okay. So I'll start off with the campaign.

Let's run it. You okay with abandoning the campaign? Oh, you're wrong? I was just up. Did you ever do the local co-op like I told you to get what you wanted? I did. The problem with it is it makes you the left JoyCon has to be horizontal. It's so close.

Is it cool if I have it in this loud cab? His forces are laying in the Cornelia as we speak. The Cornetian Defense Force. Damn, he's just out there in his Oculus right now in the background? Good for him. That's no smart. My team's available to deploy in the- Occupied numerous worlds throughout the system.

They take Cornaria, then all hope is lost. Save Cornaria. Liberate the Lailat system, and you can name your price. You've got yourself a deal. It's a pleasure doing business with you, General. Oh, he's a pilot for hire. Oh, yeah. That's what Starbox is.

A pilot for hire. Yeah. Mercenaries. So they could be bad guys. They could be. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, you're living a lot here.

Maybe the whole time they never knew. They were the bad guys. So the reason he had the Oculus you were talking about? Yeah. When you first start the game, it puts you in training mode and it teaches you how to play. That's all of them actually. Really? They're all in it together.

That's cool. Great start. Come on! Iconic ship in the background. The great Fox. Andy was talking shit about the design. Yeah. One of the few times I'd disagree with Andy.

No, no. Design takes. Smashfrow 64, one of the greatest level ever. Hell yeah. Okay, so this is like Homeworld? Yeah. Yeah. Kind of like the capital.

Who's your favorite animal pilot? Fox. I'm a basic guy, but Falco. I love Falco. Falco, okay. Shout to my guy at Wolfe, though. Wolfe's a badass. I honestly, I'm a big fan of a lot of them.

Especially playing the sequel Star Fox Assault. I really like how they handle the Star Wolf team in that one. Oh, he put wings on his? Yep. That's super cool. Yeah, like different logos. That music's iconic. And it's fully orchestrated.

They recorded a happy road. All right, here we go. If there's any questions from the chat as well, don't forget to get those questions in. So let me show you something here, Mike. So you can just shoot the laser where you like just tap your finger, or you hold that down? You hold it down and then it like creates a homing thing.

Ah, yeah, yeah. And if the enemies are close together, and the AOE blast on it, if you kill multiple enemies, you kill multiple enemies, with one blast, like, oh, I guess I did do it there, but you get plus one hit. So that's what you get like the higher scores. Oh, yes, I like that. Did I just do it right now.

Yeah, I saw that one. Let's try it again, boom. Ooh, got that ring. Man, the ring looks great. Yep. If you get three of the gold rings, it extends your life. Okay. Yeah, I haven't seen this game since I was in fifth grade as a child.

Is this how you remember it looking? You know what? Yes. No detail. I don't remember any detail at all in this, is right. The roads, the trees, the grass. Chrono Rig says, what plan are you taking? Star Fox is R-wing or Starfighter?

I'm an R-Wing guy no matter what. I don't know what we're talking about Starfighter. It wants a starfighter. I don't know. That's not a thing in there. Yeah. The Wolfen is the name of Wolf's ship, which looks cool, but no, I'm definitely an R-Wing guy. Okay.

Okay, so right there, I thought who needed help, and I just saved him. That gives me the option to do the challenge to go to the alternate path here. Okay, okay. Which will be coming up soon and I'll show you. There's to do a barrel roll one. You gotta do the barrel. Oh, I remember the robots, yeah. Yep.

All right, so the challenge is you got to go underneath each of these. Do you want to do it? Yeah, fuck yeah, you're going to do it? Let's do it. Even the got it big one. I do with that. Falcos, like, come with me, and then he brings you through this waterfall to a secret ultimate.

But it's good to go through both paths. Oh, yeah. Right? When you're playing these? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's why you replay it so much. Yeah. You need to play through the whole game at least three times to have played all the levels.

Okay. It feels like Pokemon Snap. Yeah. Like, oh, yeah, there's the one route, but it's like, oh, you know that you can go through this little secret route, you know? Yeah, you got to do this. So this boss was the first boss from the original. Super Nintendo version.

Okay, okay. I love the effect of the water. Yeah, the water looks great. The whole game looks fantastic. Yeah, the big red ship. Tim knows exactly what to do. I mean, yeah, I've done this so many five. Just get right after it.

Yeah, that's great. JBC says the all-terrain mode is so much better here. I agree. What is that? All-terrain mode, so is that the tank? Most of the level, that's the landmaster. Okay. Most the levels are linear on rails, like, you know,

you're just going to go in straight. All-range mode is when it's more of like, you're in this open arena. Okay. They're usually just big circles. The normal boss fight in this level, if I didn't do the alternate path, it's an all-range mode. Oh, really? Like fly wherever you want to go. Yeah, but it's a very, very small little area.

Bionstock official says, genuinely one of the best-looking Nintendo games in years. I totally agree. Like I said, I still am not fully on board with the designs, but I think it really works. and the game is stunning. Hopefully there's a lot of goodwill and energy. I mean, with the idea of like if they were to make a movie, you know, and then, yeah. Oh, I was three away from the medal.

I already got it for this one, but... I already got the medal, okay. So then you get these cutscenes, and depending on what choices you made, there's different cutscenes. True is worth what you're paying this, General. Some of your crew is worth it anyway. Because you shot down the attack carrier,

we were able to obtain a wealth of enemy intelligence. Crucially, we've learned that our main fleet has been targeted for attack as it passes through sector Y Attempts to warn our people have gone unanswered I'd like you to rendezvous with them ASAP if you can take this opportunity to decimate the enemy forces all the better Get out there and back up the fleet star Fox Understood General I'll have Rob plot of course. I had planned to ride us through the medio asteroid field, but it sounds like they meet us in sector Y Wait a minute, Fox. Scans are showing unidentified energy emanating from within the asteroid field.

Maybe we should investigate. A science field trip. Just what we need. Andros' army could be used in Medio as a staging area for the invasion. But never mind that. You heard General Pepper. The fleet needs our support in sector wide. That bunny looks good.

Oh, yeah. That bunny fucking rocks, dude. So, yeah, as you were here and there, the original. plan was to go to Medio. Yeah, of course. But we have now the option to go to Sector Y. Yeah. And Slippy was saying like, oh, there's some weird stuff going on sector.

They're hinting at what the like secret in sector Y is, like hidden within the asteroid. Okay, okay. These like little warp things that we can decide to go through if we want to keep on the hard path. Yeah. Um, which. And you take us.

I'm not sure I want to do that for this. Yeah. Mainly because like, well, let's see. Because the next level of the hard path kind of sucks. Oh. You're in a submarine, and it's not that cool. Oh, shit. Okay, okay.

But let's see what happens. We'll get in here. Yeah, good. Take it's what you like, Tim. You're our Star Fox expert here, man. I really hope that this keeps doing well, and we get a sequel, we get a movie. I just want it all, man. I mean, the movie in that style from the Mario movie would be fire.

Oh, yeah. Even if that's like a direct to Disney Plus or Netflix or some streaming service, I'll still take that. Yeah. This level's fucking sick as hell. Yeah, fighting some gunned looking guys. That's sick. Oh, yeah, this is sick. Right.

So what I just got was the laser upgrade. Okay. So it makes your lasers stronger and shoot faster. For the whole level or for a certain time. But if you crash too much, your wings get messed up and then you lose the upgrades. Oh, shit. Do you crash a lot? You could.

Okay. Sometimes I throw myself in the walls just to like get to a different upgrade or something. in that one, you know, sacrifice one upgrade for another, but yeah, one of the problems is because this is a remake so faithful to the original, some of the sections can be a little slow. Okay, okay. But

also, look at how cool this is, like, going through the whole blockade. Is that a giant monkey head on the front of those two? For the... So, Androx is the big, big monkey, he's the bad guy. He's the war criminal essentially. Universal is contemplating a Star Fox ride.

Yeah, they should be all over that. love that. They should continue to build out that Mario in Donkey Kong World down in Orlando and here in L.A. just keep making that Nintendo product grow and grow. The biggest problem is they just don't have enough land. Like they're running out of room. They're already ran out of room. So I don't know where they're going to fit these rides. Are we going down to L.A. for Fast and Furious? I want to be so freaking bad. Are you not on? When's it going to going to open? Sometimes this summer, you should be on a red carpet guest. I would love that. But yeah, no, I, I'm I'm going down to LA for the Sonic the Hedgehog concert in September.

So I'm hoping that it's open by that. Yeah, yeah, we'll see. I'm going with the games cage. I love Fidel. He's the best. He's gonna have some good energy. He just did Sonic's birthday. Yeah, he did.

And Rogers' base of Jackie. Yeah, I can't believe that Starbox is being talked about this way in 2026. It makes me so happy. Man, right? What are some other fans not getting some love that deserve that kind of treatment? I don't know, man. Zelda's on fire. Yeah.

Oh, yeah. Mario's always great. Donkey Kong got some love right there. Which I love that too. Yeah. Yeah, the Switch 2 so far for me has been a huge winner for Tim Getty's games. But when we talk about movies, rides, what other ones would you add? I mean, there's the Yoshi one.

There's in Japan and in a, what's it called? Florida. There's the Yoshi Island ride. Oh, shit, I missed that one. one because I saw I went on Donkey Kong it was fantastic but this is all range mode yes you say it where I might you know any way you want you're just typical fighter jet video game yeah this is sick I hate all range always have all these you like staying on the rail so much more yeah yeah just this stuff's cool but like yeah

this is like if you're a ace combat sick oh you're into all of that that's right yeah I messed up though because I I wanted to take you on a path that takes us to StarWolf, because I want you to see StarWold. Here's a great one. Crono writes and again says, with the good sales, with the good sales start of Star Fox, is Vellon the new development team for them?

I would love it. They've crushed it here. You think they go back to Vellon? I hope so. I hope so. Look how sick this boss is, though. The Shogun Squad. Yeah, that's cool.

Oh, yeah. Yeah, you flew through that one. Even that, I was a little slow, but... So some of the voice acting and, like, dialogue changes, I like a lot better in this one. Okay. But there's a lot of things I'm just so used to how it used to be. And infamously, in Star Fox 64,

some of the boss characters specifically, when they died, it was the most... No! They exploded. It's just, like, it's so violent. Radar doesn't lie. We ran the bomb. when you face off against Star Wolf,

they'll put some out of pocket shit. Like, Pygma, who killed your father, we'll just go, Daddy screamed real good before he died. It's like, holy shit. I like that. I love that. We had to go back to E for everyone, so we turned those off.

Let's take a look. Where are you out here? Almost lost slip. Yeah. Now what's one life earn, that's like life? You just have lives, yeah. Okay, okay. This is cool.

Thalco has the back of his bomber shack. It says, free as a bird, which is the old gang he used to be in before he joined Star Fox. And that's all lower from the Star Fox Adventures game. Wow. They know their shit over in Ellen. I love it. Okay, they're doing shit.

I like that. It's a key strategic outpost. We can't afford to lose. Are there more Star Fox games in the NSO catalog that you could play if you really liked this? No. Say you fall in love. Oh, really?

If I fell in love with this, I can't play more? No. Assault and Adventures on GamePew aren't there yet. I really hope to get added. Okay. Okay. What's a much use in the water? What if they were like, yeah, we're going to give you a star fox ride, a universal.

They are obsessed with the tank, the landmaster, so I have a feeling that will be involved. The submarine's only in one level ever. It's not bad, it's just out and replays. It's very slow. So you get two options here. Yeah, so, okay, I can stay up on the hard path here. Oh, that's just stay high on the hard path. Or I can go down to Catina.

Now, Catina's cool because it's, um, this level's based on the movie Independence Day. Oh, okay. and your boy Bill, Bill the Bulldog, your friend from college, from the Academy. Cool. He's like holding down, he's like a general now with like his little group over there. And like you help him out here,

but you clearly have history together. It's cool stuff. Yeah. Let's see. Now you're missing medals on the high side? I'm missing medals just on the later levels. And I'm not even going to, like, that's not going to happen today, y'all.

You don't even have. No, I'm more like trying to think of like how to give you a good story here because I don't necessarily want to show you a hard path the first time. You know what I mean? But I also really want to get to that top middle one, Zonis. This is my favorite level. It's remake. Take it on a ride. Take it on a ride.

Let's go to the sub. Okay. Loyal Freaks says, show us the submarine. Okay, okay. Show us the sub. This could be something special here. Could be. Doing a lot of work. Again, it is a cool level. I don't want to, I don't want to undersell it.

That music rocks. Fox Boy, Jesse, says this is my first time playing Starfight. I fell in love with it. Hell yeah. Yeah, Red says you have to show Zonis. Y'all already know. Zonis is where it's at. We got to get on this.

The franchise is like, let's greenlight this. Let's get it going. I mean, the rumor was there's two games in development, so. Okay. Yeah, the problem is you have unlimited torpedoes here instead of your bombs, which is cool. But then you're just freaking spamming. Nash says this level is so much better now, though. It is.

It is. I love the music, the vibes. Yeah. It's cool. As you keep playing the level, you're, like, getting deeper and deeper into the water. It starts getting darker and darker. That's cool. Yeah, it's just slow.

What are you fighting out here? Sea creatures. No shit. You're killing the sea creatures? Yeah, man. Oh, wow. How do the sea creatures have anything to do with the war? I don't know, man.

Last week we were fighting for the reefs. Here we are. Fucking them up. Okay, that does look good, though. That's cool. It really lights it up. There you see it starts getting darker and darker. These guys, you got a torpedo first to break their shield and then shoot them.

Of course, you can still barrel all underwater. Oh, look at that thing. Oh, Jim just murdered that fish, man. I love that this totally just like takes cool ideas from like sci-fi shit, just shubs it all in here. Like the velocity of aquas, like that's, you know. Other levels like I was saying is very independent stay. I get obviously a lot of Star Wars inspired stuff. Yeah, I mean, I'm into it.

I like the vibe. And they only do this once. Only do what once? The submarine? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Interesting. How many times do they do the tank? There's two tank levels.

The tank levels, okay. But they're on different pads, so you have to. You'll also only leave at least. Yeah. And depending on where we go, we might not even get in the tank for this run. This level is hard to get a medal on is what, uh... Yeah, it took me like six tries, but I did it.

The chat says. Really? Okay. What makes it so hard, what do you have to do? So a lot of the things that make the metals hard is more just like there's not enough enemies in the level. Oh, shit. You need to make sure you're getting those combos right. Oh, because usually the medals are tied to have a score of 90 plus or whatever.

Let's see right here. We need 150 to get the metal. Oh, shit, okay. But yeah, you're looking for those combo pieces here. Yeah. Nash says tank is also way better. Can't get over how fun first person is. The tank is, I like the tank a lot.

Okay. I prefer the R-wing over everything, though. Yeah. I just appreciate that they built a sub in that giant spaceship. That's crazy. Chats is Slippy for thinking about that. Yeah, so you get one point per kill. One point per kill, unless it's a bigger thing.

Unless you get a couple. you get a throw oh okay some of them are five like those robots the red robots in the first level those are worth five okay bosses are often worth ten yeah I can see that the size of a transport yeah this is sick right did Greg get Ben to play this do you think Ben would love this yeah Ben played the demo I don't know if he's played the actual game yet but I really wanted to because I'd need him to love it's very important to me why didn't you fire a torpedo there I am. Oh, okay.

But I mean, I remember the first time I played this. I was like, ah, I'm so stressed out. But now it's like, I kind of got this shit down. 10 hits on that. You need 150 at 91? Oh man. The Star Wolf theme is a little too fast for my liking. I feel like we can slow it down a bit. I know that's how the n64 version was, but since then we've improved and gotten better. Yeah, slower is better. And the final song of the game, like the big credit song. They whipped it. Oh, no.

It doesn't have the same impact anymore. Like, it's both the song and the visuals. Like, they just made some really weird changes. They're like, why would you do that? I'm sure I care more than 99% of people do about that. Yeah. But still, if you got a near for it? Yeah.

Someone else's got to have that. Yeah, yeah. He was making his own giant fish kajou, that's why. Damn, that's crazy. He's attention. Time to strike at Zone S. Yep. Go to Zonis.

Strike it. Okay. This is my favorite level of the remake. And I hated it in the image. Really? Yeah. It was so boring looking in the original. But now it's like very, very...

She's a cat. She's a cat. Okay. Birds and cats can get along. Damn. Digital Dunst says I 100% agree with Tim. The ending song missed the mark. I feel like the ending was kind of lacking as well.

I missed them running to the sunset. Dude, exactly. I don't know why they would change that. Yeah, this level looks so sick now. Like on that 64, it just, it didn't hit because like the water didn't look like this. Yeah. So if you take down every single searchlight, or if you don't get seen by any of the searchlights,

that's the wind condition to get to stay on hard mode. Nice, okay. And you're just expected to figure that out, or... I mean, if you listen to the character dialogue, like, they did just say, don't get it, don't do it, and then if you end up getting spotted by one, then they're like, oh, we've been spotted, like, whatever. So it kind of gives you the hint of, like,

next time you play... Okay. Try to do it. The music's so good in this level. Did you do that backflip? I did. Or did the game do the backflip? Yeah, you can do it.

So let me just go here. Oh, I wanted the gold. That was really bad. Oh. Yeah, see, cat joins you. Okay. Got it's a cat. A little theme song.

A little slippy just wanted to be introduced. Oh. Getting cute. Yeah. It's still cool. This is fucking epic. Yeah, it is. It's very well done.

And, like, a lot of the bosses in the first game were, like, super dramatic and over. the top okay this game kind of dials them down a little bit this boss is the only one that they dialed up okay okay you know it all in this one tim okay oh so far i've got them all they did it so we're staying on the hard path monkeys as the captains of like the bad guys because it's andros

yes exactly yeah yeah okay and then star wolf pass his crew of four right so yes star wolf it's with Dengar who's a pig, Leon, who's a chameleon, and then Andrew Oikini, who's a, andros's his nephew, so he's also a monkey. I don't think we're going to get Star Wolf. So depending on what paths you take, you either face Star Wolf once or twice. And if you face them, there's a condition where the second time you face them, they're all fucked up from their last defeat. And so, like, they have like neck braces and shit. Yeah,

that is cool. You can jump the gun on this boss and hit it where Pepey instructed you early. That speeds it up is what Nash says. Yeah, that's the one that always tastes me the longest, besides the final final boss. Sounds like we have a chance to catch Andross by surprise chance I'd like to... But first, you'll have to navigate sector Z, a notorious debris field. Proceed with caution. If the Great Fox suffers damage in sector Z, you'll be forced to take a less optimal route to venom. We're professionals. We know better than to scratch the paint.

Star Fox out. Within striking distance of Macbeth, the industrial... Slippy. I've hacked the enemy network to identify vulnerabilities in their supply lines. If we can intercept this train, we'll cut off the flow of weapons from Macbeth. We could target the train directly if it appears to be secured by a series of locks along the track. that's just right alongside you the entire level. And you just have this sick ass freaking tank, right? Okay. Tank covers, it can also barrel roll. Yeah, hell yeah. Get to the train, CJ! And some of the cinematic stuff. in this level I think it's really cool.

There's a part coming up pretty soon where they're like, oh, help, like, give us some support when we're up in the skies and like the camera kind of shifts. Very cool. Okay. And do you know the challenge how you need to hit? Yes, later on, towards the end, there'll be like eight switches that I need to hit next to the train track. Okay. And then it'll guide the train into the main base

and blow it all up. Thick, okay. Yeah, check this out right here. The camera shifts up. Now you're fighting up there. Shoot those things up top. Yeah, because Kat didn't die in that other level. Now she's here to help us.

And so they made like a prison on the planet for like the biggest and baddest. And when they got Andros, Dr. Andross years ago, that's where they like put him. And they help him on that planet.

And when they were going there many years ago, that's when Pigma, the Trey's box, or James McLeod. No, no, no, no, no. Fuck! No! Oh, Pepey went down! Oh, Pecky went down! Shit! That sucks. That really sucks. What'd you say again?
