What's up and welcome to the Kind of Funny Games cast for Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.
Of course, I'm your host, Tim Gettys.
I'm joined today by blessing at a Yo-Yea Jr.
Good day, Tim.
Snowbike Mike.
What up, Tim.
Greg Miller.
Hi, Tim.
And Andy Cortez.
Hi.
We just watched two state of plays back to back.
And now we're going to talk about every single thing that we saw in them, what we
didn't like what we thought of the presentations
overall, all of that.
What we hoped would be there but wasn't there.
Everything in between. Please super chat
in to let us know what you thought
of the two shows. What were your
highlights I need to know?
Before we begin, though, I do
want to give a shout to our producers on Patreon.
So shout it to Omega Buster, Delini the Somm twining,
and Michael Pessavento.
But for now, let's begin with the topic
of the show.
PlayStation State of Play.
Back to back.
Bless, what did you think?
I thought overall it was okay to mediocre.
You know, if I'm taking just the first traditional state of play,
I thought that was okay.
I thought the state of play Japan was like kind of boring,
but I also feel like that's very specifically for that audience.
I feel like that's something that they happen to go,
all right, let's just show this to the West also in conjunction with the traditional one.
I think with that, I don't judge it too harshly because I have the, well,
I feel most people have the opposite.
to tune out if they want to of that one.
But overall, I had an okay time.
I think we got a few trailers here that did excite me until
Dawn 2 had a fantastic trailer.
They got me even more excited about that game.
I love that we got a January 28th release date for it as well.
Really looking forward to that.
Uncanyan as a new indie title here from the makers of McKett.
I thought look really neat, really appeals to my interest.
Keeper coming to PlayStation as well, I think is a really cool one.
That's a game that everybody should try out.
Everybody should check out.
I forget if they said it's out today, which is awesome.
I don't know if they said anything about PlayStation Plus for that one,
but I think they did not.
They did not.
I think that's a missed opportunity.
I feel like that's the only
you want to get out
into as many people's hands as possible,
but I also understand
that double fine needs money right now.
And so them selling it,
I think, is also,
that makes a lot of sense
for them to do that.
Crimson's Desert getting an update
cool for that audience
and then also Ghost of Yote
getting a big update here.
Really cool.
I thought the way they positioned
Soros was really weird.
Awkward.
Awkward, right?
That's a game that should have
gotten its own section.
That's a game that if you're adding in
meaningful content here,
give it its own trailer,
give it its own hype,
them kind of shoving it into more of a real, real situation.
I thought was weird.
But overall, I had a fine time.
If I'm going to give it a score, I'd probably say, I'll say six out of ten.
Mike, I echo a lot of blessing on the fine, good time, right?
Like, I think that first hour that we watched actually had a lot going on there,
especially big shout to Crimson Desert.
That's been absolutely killing it all year long and then hitting you with a massive looking expansion, right?
This is a game that already is doing it all.
then what you see, what's coming this year, you go, wow, that is so much.
That is a game that just doesn't stop.
And so I think that was a big one.
Of course, Monster Hunter Worlds, right?
We've been waiting for this DLC announcement.
That showed very well excited for that one.
You got kind of the lineup for the end of the year, Tim.
I know you're always looking at the roadmap of like, hey, what are the games that we're
going to get to the end of the year?
What's going to start next year?
And I think when you look at PlayStation, you watch that right there, you know what you're
getting, right?
We're going to go into Wolverine.
We're looking at some nice.
partnership updates, and then we know what we're going to get in spring,
especially with Final Fantasy right around the corner.
It was a pretty solid telling of what I can expect on my PlayStation and what games to look
forward to.
I think it was fine, as Blessing said, it was just good.
It was all right.
I just realized something.
I had to jump in.
Where was Cana Scars of Cosmora?
Oh.
Where was that?
That team's working, man.
Let them work.
Let him go.
He said it's coming out this year.
Let them work.
This was probably the final.
What's going on?
That actually might.
bring my score down to like a 5.5. That's crazy
that the wasn't here. I mean, you expected to see
it here? Yes. With certainty. Yes.
Really? They said it's coming 2027.
Yeah. It was announced at the beginning of...
Oh, sorry, 26. 26. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They said it was coming out this year. Yeah.
And that was announced at the beginning of this year.
Yeah. Even if it's coming out next year, you have to come out and just give us a
year. You come out and say it's delayed. You come out and say it's delayed.
That's crazy that that that wasn't here.
I'm glad that you guys ride for that game so hard. That's great, man.
I'm on the side of like, just let them do their thing. Let them work with that.
I got no rush for that game.
I'm more of the mind on it.
I'm just like,
I don't want to be over candid.
Like,
I don't want them to like talk about it too much.
Like,
clearly,
this game's not close.
Well,
yeah.
Clearly,
my fantasy critic is fucking ruined.
But they've only talked about it once.
It's not like we've seen in a million times.
I know,
but I think these days,
especially with like how many games come out and how many showcases there are.
Like that goes from like,
oh,
we haven't seen it in a year to,
oh,
we've now seen it six freaking times.
Yeah.
I feel like,
I just feel like an update to be like,
here's a new trailer,
2027. I can't believe they said 2026 to begin with 2027. Why would they do that? Why would they do that? We know what happened with Kna 1? Why? Greg, what did you think of this? I think I'm more up on it than so far on the panel. Not by, I mean, a landslide. Again, I am really in terms of scoring, only scoring the first one. I mean, you know, the second one, a state of play in Japan in Japanese. I think it's targeting a different audience. And so we'll talk about those games, obviously. But from what we got today, I think this is a 7-5. I think this is good. I had a great time, of course, be with y'all and having a,
out here. But to look back through this, I think opening with Resident Evil, super strong,
diving into all these updates coming to Ghost of Yote. Yes, please.
Ascendance for Monster Hunter. Hell yeah. Man-eater two. Crimson Desert getting all the stuff.
A Lego PlayStation. Final Fantasy residents like the Hunter's Moon debuting and getting time, right?
These three Indies, Uncanyin debuting, getting time. Hell yeah. Keeper, exciting. Sure.
And then, yeah, the SARS thing being shoved in is awkward as hell or whatever.
But until dawn looked great. I have breaking news from the blog. We've partnered with our
friends at Ad Hocs Studio, the brilliant minds behind the acclaimed dispatch so you can expect a deeply
layered story packed with a rich characters.
Adhawks is one making the story for Un-Hulling How.
Insane.
GTA-5 controllers and then a giant dump of Final Fantasy at the end.
I think this is good, maybe even almost great, but I think the greatness probably comes
from clowning around with you guys or whatever.
But mainly, I hate when these things feel like a waste of time.
And this didn't feel like a waste of time.
There were a bunch of games that spoke to me and a bunch of updates that spoke to me.
Andy
um
yeah i mean i i i enjoyed my time like i do most of these things but i like
i wasn't stunned or blown away by much um i think the gunham rogue or
orbit is really interesting looking and saros getting
freaking gyro controls is just like so exciting to me
including a boss rushers i think is awesome and whatever else mode that is going to be
included in that um having a roguelight mode
I think is really neat for Ghost of Yote
and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation
got me pretty pumped up and of course
Final Fantasy
Residence also
like looked exciting and I'm
stoked for that.
I'd probably give it like a
I'd probably give it like a six out of ten.
I think like the known quantities
that we've
that we're seeing in this list here
not the most exciting stuff
but I think Crimson Desert like Mike mentioned
and continuing to just pump out more and more content
is pretty massive for that audience.
It's a really, really big game.
Tim, what did you think?
Yeah, I mean, I started enough.
I'd probably say I'm in a 6-5 on this
where I do think it's okay,
but on the good side of okay,
where this to me feels like
if we got state of plays every single month,
it'd be like, yeah, this is what this is.
I feel like it's only disappointing
because we don't get them that often.
So expectations can be high.
We're looking for surprises.
We're looking for some bigger news.
did get some big stuff out of this. Like obviously I'm hyped as hell. We finally have a
Final Fantasy release date. We know when that's coming. We're working towards that now.
The focus on the indie games, they looked really cool. I think that in terms of pacing,
like, I enjoyed my time watching it. Like I was never like, this is a waste of time. I don't think
it was the best time. I, you know, we always talk about the state of plays of when they're so close
to a new release of like, oh, are they going to show this game? Are they going to talk about it again?
You know, Wolverine is imminent. So this is just a, this one felt, I know they're all just
marketing things, but this just really felt like, hey, here's our marketing for where we're at
right now.
It's a housekeeping.
It's just catch up.
It's just updates on things we kind of already know.
Demo coming out today for Resident Evil or sorry, for Final Fantasy Residents.
There's a lot of good stuff here.
It's just not really like that exciting.
I feel like, you know, there was a surprise of Mad Eater 2.
Like that's for 14 million people apparently.
14 million people.
But yeah, some cool stuff.
But I just feel like overall, it's like this is, we're never going to talk about this.
state of play as like being special ever right that's okay um yeah always a bummer to not get bigger things
if the lego playstation didn't leak i think that would have been cooler and more side i missed it i didn't
know i didn't know that was happening no um and then i thought that was like such an emphasis on
in addition to having that second state of play to rhapsody in secret in scarlet and that was just like
probably maybe the most disappointing one of the whole show i thought in what way like well we
I mean, we saw it once and then we saw it again.
And it's like, there was just a lot of like, we are proud of this.
And I was like, it just was really underwhelming.
I thought.
I thought absolutely cool.
Am I ever going to actually play it?
No.
But like, I thought like that one was a semi-high to me.
I didn't like the way they presented it though.
Like I do think especially this being two back-to-back showcases and even them kind of
being like for more.
It's here.
And then there's a Konami showcase.
It's like y'all are doing way too much with this.
But it feels the, it feels like it was, it's already getting the treatment that PlayStation
has been giving.
to like Phantom Blade Zero, but it's like,
well, that game looks like that and this game looks like this.
And I don't know.
I was just kind of like,
I was bummed out that I wasn't excited by it more
because of what it was presenting in this 1920s.
Like, you know, everybody's playing jazz and all the stuff.
I was like, oh, but that's what the game is.
I don't know.
It just, it felt disconnected to me.
Ratchin Klan coming from the classic series.
I love that.
I love to keep supporting that,
bringing back the old games,
especially for the OG,
ration clank which i'm such a huge fan of and until dawn too i thought this was a much better showing
than we saw last time and uh hearing ad hoc it's like oh wow we got something cool and to mike's point
like we got a real nice look at what pretty much now till april looks like for playstation and i'm
excited there's like a title a month or so that i'm like okay cool i'm gonna be putting work in on
my playstation um and yeah funnel fantasy seven looks awesome i i i feel that uh the the hype going into it
for like the trailers and gameplay and all this stuff,
it's like, I don't need anything.
I just want to just like, I'm good.
I just want to play the game, I know.
And I remember after seeing all the trailers and stuff for rebirth,
I kind of felt the same way where I was just like,
I could not be more excited,
but I'm also not really feeling the excitement, if that makes sense.
Okay.
It's kind of like, I know I'm going to love this.
I know what I'm expecting,
but I don't need to see anything
because anything I want to see is major spoilers.
and major reveals the revelations of it all, you know?
It's how I felt going into Spider-Man brand new day, Tim.
When I lied to Tim, I felt bad about lying to him.
What did you say?
I have the movie theater who's just like,
excited about this?
I was like, I just kind of wasn't super stoked.
And then I watched the movie.
And I heard you lie.
I was like, wow, you need he's really excited.
I knew Tim was, but maybe I'm wrong.
I remember seeing the early gameplay trailers and reveals
and exactly what they are doing here for Revelation for Rebirth.
and kind of just being like, I don't know if it's going to live up to remake for me.
Like, I'm a little concerned.
And then the game came out and I ended up liking it a lot more even than remake.
So I think that'll happen here as well.
But, yeah, they're showing a lot of cool stuff.
It looks amazing, dude.
It does.
It looks so damn impressive.
There's a lot I want to say that I'm not going to for not spoiling the experience for y'all.
But it's very cool to see what they are showing what they're not showing in this trailer.
I think that's the thing for me.
I'm like, okay, there's some characters we're not looking at here.
And I like that they're not showing those characters.
You can dive deeper if you want into what I'm saying or avoid it.
But yeah, that's that.
Oh, yeah.
I'll forget if you told me anyone.
Don't worry about it.
I'll get to that point.
Be like, wow, it's amazing.
One that stood out to me was Gundam Rogue orbit.
The more we see of this game, the more I'm like, I really want to play this.
And I think that's just the armored core person in me who loved six, who wants more of that and is tired of waiting for From Software, knowing that they're probably years away from ever putting another armored corps.
Yeah.
That looked really cool.
the customization and stuff looks awesome.
And then you called it up, but like the melee stuff that we're seeing,
it seems a bit more action-y, like in-your-face action-y,
than just like how armored core is mainly projectile-based.
Yeah.
I really like that's why I felt-
But I do feel like a lot of the MEC games kind of lean a bit more into like a...
Realistic or not really?
Like, yeah, I don't know.
There's just like...
Authenticity.
So like what it would be like with the MEC.
This is just like, you might as well be Dante, but you're in a fucking gun.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think the first time they showed it off
was when I was surprised that it was a Gundam game
because the characters you were playing,
everybody just kind of looked like a dark gray gun metal color
and like a lot of the characters kind of a lot of the mix
kind of looked like that and then when Gundam was it,
I was like, oh, I didn't even know these were actual Gundams.
Like I'm not seeing any of the branding that I'm kind of expecting
or any of those little visual ties, visual cues where it's like,
oh yeah, there's that headpiece part or whatever.
But then once we get to hear,
and we see all the customization, we see all of the, you see the, the RX-78, it's like,
okay, yeah, there, there's definitely a lot more Gundam vibes here than just it being kind of
a random meck game that looked at, it kind of looked at first, like they just threw the Gundame name
on it. This feels like a lot more Gundam, like, I don't know about, these bad guys may not,
I don't, you know, I'm not, I'm used to just like military shit, Mike, where it's,
gun, yeah, I'm, I'm that, uh, iron-blooded orphans or, yeah, so like, that's my
Gundam to me, but it does look great. Bless, I totally agree with you, right? It's that
armored core hype that I want another one of these experiences. And me and Andy have jumped
into a couple of the MEC PVP games, right? And it's like, hey, I just want a cool
story that makes me feel like a badass in the mech. And yeah, if you can tie that into the
Gundam universe somehow in a cool, compelling story that I'm in. Yeah, that's my big hope is that
this does have a story that engages us because this gameplay looks good. For me, my Gundam thing that I,
that I liked was Gundam, the witch from
Mercury, which is a more recent one within the last few years.
And watching that, the story is fantastic.
And I open my eyes up to, oh, shit.
All right, this Gundam shit is off the chain.
So if we can get a similar level of intrigue here, like some really cool shit about, I don't know, man, space military type shit, then I'll be in.
Let's go through everything we saw game by game or movie.
Starting off with Resident Evil, a bit of a weird one.
I loved it.
Like, I'm happy seeing this here.
Oh, yeah.
But I'm a little confused at why.
Is Sony pictures the distributor of this?
Because, I mean, it's a Capcom thing.
You know, it's a Capcom thing, right?
They wanted a cool thing to start off with.
Yeah, I don't know.
Just a little weird.
But, I mean, man, this looks awesome.
And actually seeing the scene play out not cut up in trailer form gives me even more hope for this movie.
The first trailer didn't fully sell me on this vision.
The second one totally did.
And this even more.
I think this is going to be an awesome movie.
Distributed by Sony Pictures.
production companies has PlayStation productions along with several other on here as well.
So yeah, I guess it is.
There is a little bit of a Sony connection place.
Interesting.
But yeah, this looks freaking awesome.
And I love how much the cinematography looks like a Resident Evil game.
Like that's so cool.
And this even seems like a set piece action thing for Resident Evil.
So, yeah, man, I think it's going to be awesome.
Yeah, totally.
My hype has only continued to grow seeing this time after time and knowing that we are, what,
two weeks away from release.
This is like a...
Really?
Oh, yeah, I think it's September 18th.
This is a...
Can't wait to get my butt in the movie theater
and go to this, right?
Especially, I know we started watching
the Resident Evil movies back in the day,
and those are some of my favorite video game
on the big screen movies where I'm like,
wow, I can't believe we're doing this.
This is so cool.
But there's a tone and a difference to this one
where I'm like, I think he's gonna nail this.
And I'm so pumped up and excited.
Everything's upset about it
just gets me more and more excited as I see it.
Like they were talking about how,
you'll know how many bullets he has at all times.
As an audience member.
And I'm like, that's so sick.
Like, good for them.
It's going to be a guy in every theater just yelling.
He's got nine.
Bang.
Eight.
Moving on.
We got one last look at Wolverine coming.
One last.
September 15th, 2020.
Classic thing of didn't need this.
Like, I understand.
It's got to promote you got anything.
But it's a classic thing of, you know,
we've already said,
or of course, one week from today,
we are reviewing this game on Gamescast.
So to be watching this trailer and see all these Sentinels,
I was like, huh, didn't need to see this,
didn't need to know this.
Yeah, I mean, it's, I think this is the strongest single trailer
they've had so far.
I feel like this is the type of thing
that just gets the normal people.
Oh, wow, this is cool.
And then I think it was a well-edded trailer,
and I think there was a lot of cool stuff going on.
I love the shot of the Sentinel shooting the lasers out
as they run away.
So I'm like, cool.
This is definitely coming.
I think obviously they needed to show this
in the state of the time.
Of course.
Yeah, totally, totally, totally.
And this is it plan.
Lobs it.
It's shirtless Logan.
Yeah, I mean, this was the right marketing beat.
It looked great.
I agree with Tim.
This is the best trailer I've seen of Wolverine yet to get me excited for this game.
And yeah, it has to be here because it's in a couple of weeks.
And we got Goseyote complete edition.
Most Wanted an all new single player combat survival mode.
Complete runs to earn new characters.
Gin's back, baby.
Andrew Goldfarb over on the PlayStation Blogs.
I understand you.
on a rogue like
you'll choose from four playable characters
and accept bounties with escalating difficulty
as you complete runs
you'll earn perks and upgrades
to build out your character
become more powerful as you go
bless
dude I want so badly to get so into this
because you rewind back to earlier in the year
Ghost of Yota Legends came out
I started playing it and then didn't really stick
with it and me and you talked about how we didn't do
the raid and I've been talking about the
Ghost of Sushima legend's raid for years
about how good it is
and so them
I'm coming out with even more content.
One is very impressive to see how much they're putting into this game post launch.
But also I'm like, oh, really, October.
We got to do this in October.
I don't, I don't have time.
It's the same marathon thing as the first raid.
Or just Legends, you know, when Legends DLC came out,
it was I think the same day or the same weekend as marathon and just bad timing.
There's no good timing anymore.
Like I told myself like, hey, this week I'm playing Witcher 3, the remaster.
and Greg.
Which are cast all October, get locked in?
And so, like, will I be able to make time for this?
I hope so.
I really want to.
I think it looks cool.
I think it's a great idea.
I think, you know, we've seen Godvor Valhalla and how good that rogulight was.
And then also we saw the last of us part two, I think had the remaster with the
roguelight in it, which wasn't as great as Vahala, but I like that we're doing swings
like this.
I think this is a good swing here.
And also bringing back Jin Sakai is a playable character for a kind of mode like this is
really cool.
And starting Mars, we got Eldon Spring.
You're ready, guys.
Everybody.
Eldon Spring.
Eldon rings days.
We're doing Eldon Spring for all of Spring.
See, what people wanted was Tarnished Tuesdays.
Let everybody get on board.
Come on. All of us.
What was your idea for Eldon Spring?
Everybody plays it.
It's not like a release.
There's not a reason.
I mean, you know, we're just playing it.
But that was it for Goseota.
We got echoes of Andy.
There we go.
Sekigahara. Nailed it.
It split between two periods of Atzu's life for time in the mainland
in the massive battle of Sakikahara
and the present day.
This is a narrative expansion.
I'm very much, I want to play this.
I doubt I will get to it at launch.
It'll be something I get to later.
If memory serves,
Ishi might have been the same.
No, I think I was always going to come back to Ishi to do the,
Iki, thank you.
Erica Ishi.
That's my problem.
I was going to go back to Platman, never did.
But yeah, this is one I will want to do, Tim.
I don't know when I will get to it.
I'm on the same boat, yeah.
It's something I'm fascinated in.
I really enjoyed
Ghost of Yote
It was number 11
If you remember
My top 15 through 11
Games of 20, 25
Yeah
Big deal
I love that game
I want to experience
More of that world
But yeah
Life man
How much stuff happening
Life dude
Control Resonant
Freaking
Elden Spring
You know
Like a few days later
We're getting
Star Wars Galactic
Racer
Oh shit
And there's also
Another October 6th game
That I can't think
I want to start zero company.
What the flying game?
Ace Combat.
Oh, yeah.
Wow.
Which I want to play.
That game looks really awesome.
You didn't expect it.
Because flying, I thought, a person.
Yeah, I would have been the jet game, maybe.
Then we had Monster Hunter Wilds ascendance.
It's a massive expansion coming in 2027.
It evolves the hunting experience further with new monsters and new locale and a new story that goes beyond.
Beyond.
Beyond.
Beyond.
Beyond the base game.
It requires the base game to play.
play, you need to have reached Hunter

to see it. Greg, can't wait.
Miles for Hunter Wilds. The game we really
enjoyed and played a lot of on streams
at launch and at review me, Joey, and Mike.
And then I continued on for a while coming back
for some of the events, getting some of the special things,
the special gear, but it didn't do the world's thing, which really took over, no pun intended,
the world, right, where everybody was playing that Monster Hunter.
So I'm excited for a new reason to go back, some new content to jump into.
Really enjoyed my time with it.
You know, I know, obviously at launch, one of the big complaints was that it was too easy.
They definitely tweaked that over the many, many, many monsters they added in multiple star
missions and yeah, da-da-tada-da-da.
I had a great time.
I'm excited for more.
Ben?
Anyone else had Monster Runner on the money?
I mean, yeah, of course, right?
an expansion for Monster Hunter Wild
is going to be a whole lot of fun.
I'm super excited to play it.
Greg knows I give him the one-time play-through.
I see all the cool monsters,
and then I get out of there.
So I'm not the grinding type,
like the Palabros, our friends over there.
Yeah, for me, I can't wait to see all the new monsters,
see the new areas that we're going to explore.
This rocks.
This is a great game.

Metro 2039 coming.
Let me just interrupt real quick.
Like, we talked about a bit yesterday.
It is so crazy with Nick gone just how much Coke Zero is still in the office.
Yeah.
It really makes you...
I'm not having a fight for it.
It makes you realize where it's all going.
Yeah.
That box in there has been in there for a long time.
And there's still so much more in there.
And I reached my hand in there.
I'm like, Bussy, there's still like 18 cans or something like that.
It's crazy.
It's amazing.
Where is it going?
It's going down its gully.
It's the only sign that Nick's the...
gone.
If I didn't notice that
the Code Zero was still there, I wouldn't
have known that Nick took this week.
Lesery just had it. He went, wait a second.
I was like, wait a second.
God damn. Why's all the Coke Zero here?
That show 2039 coming
on February 4th, 2027.
It's the next landmark FPS from
acclaimed storytellers 4A games
journey into the dark heart of post-apocalyptic
Moscow. But they said
it, Moscow. Moscow.
I know that.
All the time I'm learning these like,
oh, it's Toronto, it's not Toronto, you know.
Toronto.
Melbourne, it's like,
Edinburgh.
Edinburgh.
Exactly.
Yeah, exactly.
I'm getting educated here.
Thank you, video games.
In a harrowing conflict for the very soul of the Metro.
If nobody else wants to jump on the Metro grenade when this comes out, I'll be the guy.
You know what?
I'll play it.
Plus, I'm kind of right there with you.
Like, if Tim and Greg were like, we need to talk to me in the office.
Somebody.
And they were like, we need to.
you to be on this metro shit.
Two and five Canadians will hear the words

Then the day before the review, you'd go, oh, fuck, I forgot about my friend.
You're probably right.
He's probably right.
It's like, I was supposed to play that?
You're probably right.
He was supposed to play that.
You're probably right.
It's crazy.
You're going to think the other person's playing.
It's crazy you'd be ablest like that and make fun of my disability.
Oh, no.
I'm trying to put it up.
You'd do that.
It looks good.
It looks good.
I think, to be clear, it looks good.
Anyone on this table except for,
him, I think, if the grenade was tossed their way.
Would jump? Because I look at it, it kind of
give me fallout vibes. I know it's not fallout, but it gives
me that, hey, it's not so much a
first, I mean, it's got a great shooting, but it's
not so much like I'm Twitch shooting.
I'm trying to be competitive. It's not doom. I'm exploring.
I'm doing something here. I'm not, I look
at it. I'm like, yeah, I could see a world.
If reviews came out and said
yeah, it's a shooter, it's fun.
Like the, you know, like you would expect a shooter
to be, but the narrative is
otherworldly and just so damn good,
then that would get me in. I wouldn't need this
games narrative and storytelling to be phenomenal in order to go all right i'm down to drop
other stuff that may not be hitting for me story wise because i want to experience this story
if it's going to like truly blow my mind but when does this come out i'll play it
february never mind never mind fourth oh okay that's way further away than i thought i don't know
why yeah that's uh i thought this is going to be like a november game oh you know what
because we'll get the review code pro but until dawn too
ah but that's like a weekend and then eliz
than heaven is also January.
This is a crazy first few months.
Because in January, you're getting exchanger than heaven and until dawn to
February you're getting Metro 2039, Godvor,
Lafay, persona 4 revival and Fable.
And Tomb Raider, Legacy, Van Linus.
Hold on, I'm sorry.
There's a quick meeting needs to happen.
Beg, I'll do it.
I'll be the one.
He's jumping on the grid.
They're busy.
They're going to be doing a lot of things.
I'll be the one to do.
Sure, sure.
I don't even say I was going to be busy.
I think I'm out of these games.
I'm definitely going to be going to be on
February.
I'll talk about it.
I'll let you know all about Metro.
I'll be bathing.
fable. I'll try.
You know what I mean?
Metro stalker
dying light, atomic hearts,
right? Like all these games, I'm like,
I try my best in, I jump in,
I go, man, this looks good,
shooting feels good, I'm having a good time.
And it's like, this game is 20 plus hours.
And I'm like, I don't have a lot of time
to give to this. And so I leave it behind.
But he'll hop in.
That's how it goes.
I want you know, Andy, that come February,
you can mark me down, Snowmike Mike will give you the
everybody take that to the bank.
Snowmike mic's on it.
How many herty is will he have none?
Probably still three.
I'm not allowed to have surgery yet.
You're not allowed what do you have to wait for?
No, no, I got a loose weight.
He can make fun with disability also.
I don't like the way I'm being in pencil.
You're pushing me in a corner.
I'm going to start striking soon.
You're saying a message to developers and publishers.
If you want like a sure fire, we will play your game,
get us the review code like before Christmas break because nobody else is doing that.
You know what I mean?
That's a really, really good cause.
You want me to play Metro?
Get it to me.
And like the last week.
Like that dying light thing.
Yeah,
we all are dying light too.
Remember in persona four.
You were playing that shit over Christmas?
No,
for five.
We had,
it was like fresh off.
That's so funny.
Yeah,
it was fresh off Christmas.
There was something.
There was some game.
I remember getting in December
that wasn't out to like March.
The Romeo was a dead man.
I think I got over Christmas break.
Sure.
And you're like, oh no.
I was like,
oh no.
Oh, no.
The sports story was over Christmas.
Sure.
I don't think we got a coach for that one though.
I wonder why.
Yeah.
Man Eater 2, Mike, 2027 takes place during an invite-only preview event for Neptune's Kingdom,
an ultra-luxury private island theme park designed for disaster.
Where you are the disaster.
That's the write-up?
Yeah.
Fantastic work, team.
Yeah, this one, it didn't click to me until Greg really pushed on me to be like, Mike,
do you see what's happening here?
But I cannot believe that we are getting a man-eater too.
You know what, Tim?
I know they sold 14 million copies, but you could have asked me yesterday.
Mike, you ever think we'll see Manning or two?
I would look at you dead in the eye and say,
no, Tim, we'll never get that again.
But guess what?
This game absolutely rocks and it is a ton of fun.
And to see that Tripwire is able to do a sequel to this
and have the concept idea just be Jurassic Park,
but you're in the aquatic theme park.
Yeah, we're all in on this game.
Mike, you're underselling this, dude.
It sold 14 million copies as of 2024.
Yeah.
Like, it might be more.
It might be on 16 million.
That is insane to me.
Because the release of the original man-hunt, man-eater, sorry, in 2020 and the official
D.L.C. Man-eater, Truth Quest in 2021.
That's what really is about me.
The man-eater franchise has amassed more than, or over 20 million players from across
the globe.
Now the Queen of the Sea is back, joined once again by disgrace reality TV show host and
narrator, Tripp West Haven, and voiced by Chris Parnell, Sarah on African-Morty, to eat,
explore and evolve and escape Neptune's kingdom.
It makes you realize why Shark,
week has gone on for so long.
At some point, you know, in the last like five years, it's been, you know, several decades of
shark week.
You're like, man, is this just kind of getting old?
Like, sharks still got it, I guess.
Someone died for the first time.
What?
During Shark Week?
Right?
Really?
I think you're thinking about, uh, like they were watching with the,
Chris Hansen died.
No, there was, there was a, there was a bad death.
Yeah.
Yeah, we might have to look at.
Oh.
That's what the movie's going to be about.
Yeah. Where it all went wrong.
According to the AI overview, no human deaths have ever occurred during the film.
I don't think they do anything live.
Six months ago, the shark researcher passed away for 40 years of research.
Like, people who make killed by sharks, though, but like...
I think they do live stuff.
How many people a year do you think get killed by a shark?
Not that many.
Way less than hippos.
It must be in like the single digits?
It's got to be.
Double digits?
It's one of those, like...
30.
I would take 12.
Way too much.
I'll say 12.
I think 30 is way too much.
Google AI overview says five to 10 people worldwide each year.
Okay.
Yeah.
That sounds about right.
Yeah.
Even though I don't trust AI, but...
Yeah, I don't.
Tim, we're living in a world that's not like Mike is up right now.
Oh, yeah.
Man Eater 2.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, Tripwire, let's nail this.
Let's move on to Cocaine Bear in the National Park.
That's going to be a hit.
UBSoft.
Uh-oh, you're missing it.
You should be making Far Cry Jurassic Park.
Let's get on this because man eater's going to show you
how fun this could be inside of the awesome park as the shark.
You got an opportunity here, Ubisoft.
And then, Division 3.
Yeah, maybe.
That looks good, though.
It did look good.
That looked really good.
Tim, turn on Man Eater and play for just two hours, Tim.
You're going to have a blast.
Treat yourself, then.
You will be smiling.
Shark wall riding?
I'm like, wait a minute,
is this just a secret Tony Hawk game?
Does it?
Does it?
They have, oh yeah,
you can get license plates up in the air.
It's like Tony Hawk.
You collect license plates
in all fun,
different traversal areas.
Yeah, yeah.
I saw Mike stream a lot of it,
yeah.
Yeah,
you go from a little bull pop
all the way to a great white.
That's pretty cool.
We need, I mean,
I don't know if anybody on the planet
is going to evangelize this game
more than Snowbike Mike.
I'm gonna ride.
Tripwire needs to like,
we need to get Mike in the game.
Mike, tripwire shark.
Come on.
Come on.
Come on.
The first death.
I'm in there.
Cameron, the Canon chat says, why license plates?
Because sharks eat anything.
You ever seen Deep Blue Sea?
No.
Oh, life.
Not a documentary.
Not a documentary.
I don't know if I've ever seen any sharks.
Nobody spoil anything about Deep Blue Sea
because one day I want to do a live watch.
Bless.
There's a moment.
We know the moment.
You know the moment.
Which one had the Michael Jackson song in it?
Free Willy.
Oh, that's...
Never mind.
Never mind.
Very different.
Imagine if we had got up at 6 a.m.
And how we'd be talking right now.
Next up, Kevin, we got Crimson Desert.
Building now is included.
Dude, that's fucked up, man.
It's fucked up, Kevin.
They would do that.
Because, like, any time I'm playing, like,
even a game like The Witcher, I'm like,
dude, if the Witcher had, like, a just of building mechanic,
it would be so sick.
And as soon as I see that, Kevin,
I see that little green kind of see-through wall guide
of like,
this is where a while would go up.
I'm like,
oh my God,
that is so sick.
Especially in a game,
like,
because in survival games,
I don't need a story.
And in here,
I won't have one either.
So it's like totally great that I would,
I don't care about,
about narrative here.
Perfect.
You know,
they updated the story.
They did add new story.
They did add a new story moments.
Did you know that they updated the story?
And during that trailer,
they said his name too.
It was like one of the first times
you ever heard him to say his name out loud.
It was pretty amazing.
Cliff McDuff.
Kevin, this is going to take you away from inshrouded?
I mean, honestly, the fact that they're coming out in the same day, like, I'm devastated.
I'm heartbroken.
I don't know what I'm going to do because, like, this is so exciting, you know?
Look at this.
Oh.
I build a room.
It's awesome.
A painting outside?
Snap those fucking rotations.
What if you just did a full day?
You did six hours on Enshrouted, six hours on Crimson Desert.
I can't.
I don't work like that.
I'm going to do one.
I look like, I mean, I opened up In Shrouded.
I don't work like that.
I opened up and
shrouded on Steam yesterday
and I saw Kevin
unlocked an achievement
yesterday.
I'm like,
God damn he's still playing.
Yeah. That's crazy.
Underwater too?
Wow.
But like legitimately,
the map is so much bigger now.
Like the,
because there's a lot of water
that you can take a boat on
but now you can go in it.
Andy,
that's a way more map.
What could run on top of it?
Could you always run on top of it?
I think it's special shoes.
No,
that was a brand new
I saw like here's a brand new move
It's like a running
You know
There's definitely shoes that make you run on water
Just for a moment
Oh okay
You can also get a horse
And run that out of water
No no special shoes
The horse?
Yeah it's a wood horse
Do you need two pairs?
Yeah well I mean obviously
Yeah
Next time we had the Lego PlayStation
Has an ape escape
And Grand Turismo diorama inside
This is cool
This is nifty
This was my favorite part
The recreation of the intro
Very cool
Yeah, this is one of those things
I'm not the target audience
You know, well I am
I mean, I love my PlayStation in like
Maybe but like especially with like
When they showed the Grand Turismo
And Apiscape dioramas
I was like are they about to announce
Like we have several versions
There's there's this and this one has
Metal Gear and Final Fantasy
And it's like you know what to be that
That would have done more for me
I would rather either just be this
Or I can customize what's inside as not a GT guy
Or an Ape Escape guy
Greg I'm looking at PlayStation I'm like
you better not make this one the test bed on and hinge the further like success and like,
we're going to, you know, we'll see how much this one sells so we could do other versions of it.
It's like, I mean, I like this, but I don't care about Ape Escape and Grantzma, I don't fuck with it.
But if this was Metal Gear Solid One and Einhander.
They don't really own the biggest games on this one.
I just think of like PlayStation, like, those are like the...
What are the biggest games PlayStation actually owns on PS?
Is it?
Apiscape?
I mean, it's not Apescape, but I mean, like, at a certain point, it is Ape Escape, right?
Crash Banacue, come on.
You know, it's Activision.
Bullshit.
Bullshit, man.
That's crazy.
I never even thought about that.
Big it back.
Yeah.
That's all, I mean, that's why PlayStation's in All-Stars Battle Royale was what it was.
Yeah, I guess.
But yeah, that looks cool.
The law always gets in the way, bless.
The fucking law, man.
Red tape, you know.
They weren't doing any work on their own comp.
Oh, vagrant story.
Oh, my God.
Remake vagrant story.
Next up, we had Final Fantasy Resonance.
Return to the Pixel Art World.
The Final Fantasy evolved from its classic roots.
Travel with companions bound by fate and call on visions to aid you in battle to uncover
the truth behind a force that threatens to bring everything to ruin.
It's a Final Fantasy.
October 22nd.
A demo today.
The entire first chapter of the game, save data from the demo will be carried over to the full
game.
I love to see it.
Hell yeah.
I'm excited to hop into this demo just to kind of like get the vibes.
Yeah, what is your,
you know, it's an interesting one as somebody who loves this style and has been brought into so many games because of it, right?
Like, I have no affinity to classic Final Fantasy.
I'm hoping this one connects with me because of what I've played before and how I like these kind of games.
Tim, as a fan of Final Fantasy in every shape and form, do you have high expectations?
Do you expect this to grab you or what's your deal with it?
I mean, I have high expectations that people are going to really like this game.
Yeah.
I am not going to, I can tell.
And I think a lot of it is, there's two reasons.
There's the origins of it being the gotcha mobile game.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I understand it's not the exact same thing,
but that's not a great starting place, in my opinion.
And then on top of that, getting all of the, like,
hey, all the heroes and villains you're here,
like, that always feels cheap to me.
Yeah, like, I would much prefer just, like,
give me a brand new story full its own Final Fantasy thing.
This gets a little bit too spin off.
It doesn't matter.
And, like, hey, again, I'm happy if you're going to like this.
It feels like a theme park or something.
Yeah, I just.
like there's a lot of this I'm seeing. I'm like, that's cool.
Obviously, I'm hyped to see Tetus back
and in a new form. And these, did you
see like the Tetus trailer that they dropped,
Mike? No. A ton of super cool, fall in fantasy
10 stuff going on. And I was like, yeah, it's great.
But like, I don't know, if, there's
something that feels a little cheap about it to me.
But cheap summons.
It looks, I mean, it's
obviously super visually impressive that this
art style is always going to be cool to me.
But what I'm hoping, Greg,
is to get, like,
just a bit, because
I still got a bad taste of my mouth
from that little fairy
who just kept on yapping
in Elliot
Adventures of Elliot
If we can get
even like the tiniest step up
in writing and voice acting
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah like I think that would go
Such a long way
For this title
I would be super into it
But I'm kind of with Tim
The Sephiroth thing feels like
kind of a
Like a cheap gag
to get people in
and I'd rather just be a brand new...
I know it is a brand new story,
but I don't really care about the...
I will be interested since they're just summons,
how are they doing that?
Is it like, we're doing this thing,
and we're on the battle,
and, you know, many warriors
and many universes have come before us
and their, you know, residences throughout the world,
and so we're able to...
You know what I mean?
Like, is that how we're explaining it away?
Yeah, and I know this is its own thing,
and I know it's its own story,
but just adding all these elements on top of it,
it kind of just feels like,
hey, this is just a greatest hits Final Fantasy game.
I mean, let me just read the...
To aid you in battle to uncover the truth behind a force that threatens to bring everything to ruin.
It's like, yeah.
That's what I mean?
Yeah. Like, we can apply that to like so many of them and like, that's cool.
But all I'm saying is it's not making me go, oh, I'm going to play this game.
I'm ready to be surprised.
Great.
I hope we are.
It's going to look so good on the OLED.
Oh.
Yeah.
So, so good on that steam deck.
Then we got Gundam Rogue orbit.
Woo.
Hell yeah.
It looks so cool.
It looks fun.
Yeah.
I think that's the big thing for me is that it just looks fun to play.
Like, as goaded as armored core is and how much I enjoyed armored core six,
there was always still a part of me that was like, I wish, I wish this was more melee based.
And that's not me saying like, I wish this was more like a Souls game.
I just kind of would lose the thrill of the lock on with the AR just kind of shooting at this, you know.
I think this
conceptually seems like
a lot cooler and there just seem to be
a lot more abilities
that they are kind of bringing into the fold
we see the main character do so much
different shit with different weapons
and gadgets and I think it looks really badass
and I hope it has like an awesome
over the top anime story
with hype moments like I think it could be really cool
it's the whip that's doing a lot
yeah you know what I mean
armored core has a thing where you
after you beat the game one
once if you continue playing on new game plus, you'll unlock crazier and crazier weapons as you go.
And like, it looks like just from default, you're getting a level of really fun, really wacky,
really cool tools to use here from the get-go.
Again, more anime, more action-y in a way that really, really appeals to me.
I am shocked, though, that the characters do not have that just straightforward anime look.
I think that does a lot for me, too.
I would expect the characters in this to almost be cell-shaded to look like a lot of other, like, you know, anime sort of leaning games.
But I'm kind of surprised that they do have that Ace Combat.
I was going to say, it reminds me of Ace Combat.
Who's making this again?
This is Bandai Namcoe publishing it?
Yes, they're publishing it.
It's coming out March 5th, 2027.
You've been in the Bandai Namco building bus?
No.
In L.A. when I had that bad preview event for, uh,
Night Rain, Elder Ring Night Rain,
and then they invited me back that same week
because the first one on the internet was so bad.
The second one was at their offices.
They have not only like a lot of cool
Elder Ring statues, but big-ass Gundam statues everywhere.
It's so sick, dude.
So I assume they're making it also then.
Yeah, it looks like they are.
Maybe, baby.
Okay.
Next up we have Hunter's Moon.
This is coming October 26th this year.
First person historical narrative folk horror game coming exclusively
PS5.
This is Greg.
That's me, baby.
Yeah, I mean,
from the pitch, it was like, oh, this is a great game,
and then the trailer happened, I didn't hear anything from you.
What are you thinking on this one?
I think there's not a lot to go on.
I like what little bit of art style we're seeing,
and I like the pitch of, hey, yeah, here's...
Full core, and the way they open with the song, right,
speak so much to you and me and loving South of Midnight,
and I'm not trying to put that on its shoulders already
because South and Midnight is such a great game.
But this looks interesting, you know what I mean?
Again, I'm always happy to see PlayStation and all of the big companies
use their platform, especially on a big showcase.
That is, here we're ending with a new,
with new Final Fantasy stuff.
We got Wolverine here.
Like, hey, let's give the indie some platform in it.
It looks interesting.
Again, it is spooky season.
As soon as we get to September 1st, it becomes spooky season.
So I'm excited.
I'm in that mindset.
And having that little game of running around
and seeing what this folklore is all about.
This trailer didn't blow me away.
It definitely didn't make me go,
oh my God, must play day one, let's be there.
But it did make me go, this is very interesting.
What they're showing me here is interesting.
I haven't made my way through the entire PlayStation blog about it,
but it seems like something I would enjoy.
It didn't do what like FireWalk?
No.
Firewatch.
Watch.
Firewatch.
It didn't do what Firewatch did for me like way back in the day when you first see that
trailer and you're like, this is, whoa, this is a cool mystery.
What's it doing narratively?
This one I'm like, what are they going for here?
It was kind of hard to discern.
Then we have Uncanyin from the makers of McKett,
graceful decay, Anna Purno, Public.
this comes in 2027.
It's been a few years since we shared
McKett with you and while that game was about the shifting
scale of perspective and memories, we spent our time
since then thinking about a different kind of shift.
The shift of unparallel realities.
Hell yeah. Yeah, I'm all the way into this.
Of course, McKett came out back in 2021.
That was a game that I believe also came out on PS Plus.
It did. It debuted there, yeah.
Yes, because I think that's how I played it.
And I think it's really cool to see PlayStation likely
saw something in this developer and went,
oh, wait, no, we want to own this.
Like, we want to be able to show off
your next game in a state of play here.
And McKett also was published by Annapurna,
just like this one is.
And so there's a level of consistency here
that has me excited just to see a story continue
as far as the developer having good success with McKett
and being able to continue the puzzle game
sort of thing here with Un Canyon.
I think this game looks really cool.
I love it visually.
I love like the weird stuff it's doing
as far as like the shifting levels you see here,
like you see stairs raised, you see like structures shift
in and out here on the-
How does that work, right?
look at that. Is that a button prompt or is that just
the world? Is it just happening naturally? Melding
and she runs around it. I was
someone who's not usually puzzle poppy over there
like bless, you know, I played a manifold and enjoyed
it. I'm looking forward to this one
and I love the introduction of the story.
Like having us drop here and have Sonia talk
to this guy. I was like, oh dang, okay.
Like, I like that idea of like let's get
wrapped up in a world here. Yeah. And I like
the character art too. That's new for them, I think. So
really looking forward to it. I like the name on Canyon
also. Yeah. Yeah.
Great logo.
And then next up we had Double Finds Keeper
Now on PlayStation today
Great game really really fun
Really good time it's a shorter experience
And I definitely think y'all should check this one out
Go get them
I agree
We had Rev Noir coming 2027
This is the Konami game
Yay
All the one we thought looks like Scarlet Nexus
It's called Nexus 5
It's Reve Nex's Noirre
Yeah
Rev period noir.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
With a forward slash?
No,
no forward slash on this one.
Yeah,
like that.
Dot hack, I think has two four.
It does if it looks so cool, man.
Dot hack was a game that's so,
I would go to so many friends' houses and you'll just have a stack of dot hack games.
I've never seen gameplay of that.
Then we had Rhapsody and Scarlet.
This is in 1920s New York City.
Set in the jazz-filled streets of 20s New York.
Rhapsody and Scarlet is a action game where players can enjoy exhilarating combos,
wielding magic and beasts behind the city's dazzling skyscrapers and lively streets.
seen conflict rages among those who practice magic and secret.
Players take on the role of Ellie, a young Magus,
who finds herself swept up in events that will shape her destiny.
A couple moments in this that I thought were cool.
I was saying this earlier reminds me of the anime Bacchano, which I really enjoyed.
But yeah, it just looks okay.
I don't think it looks like it's going to be a contender in any way, shape, or form.
No, I think it looks rough, and I also think it's interesting.
They must have been like when Stranger Than Heaven started promoting like,
fuck you know what I mean like the music and the jazz and that feel was supposed to be our vibe and you get here and it obviously smacks so much of the front not because they're copying just because obviously similar time frames and then to jump into it is like oh this doesn't hit nearly as hard as it was stranger than heaven's been doing it was one thing I thought was really cool that looks like there's a boss fight in the streets of New York and then the buildings are kind of like bouncing around I'm like that looked unique I haven't seen shit like that but I also just like big action setpiece bosses that have crazy
set shit going on, whether it's Final Fantasy 16 that I always reference or
Astro Body. Tides of Annihilation has some shit for you, man. Let me tell you. Oh, my
God.
I can't fucking wait for tides.
Kevin, can you rewind a little bit back?
There's, like, I don't know what's going on with the hair in this game, but it just
looks really rough, man. Anytime there's like a, like a, yeah, like that shot that we just
saw of her. And this is like just extremely nitpicky shit, but it's like, it just looks
like so crunchy
and it's not just this shot but there's
like a lot of other shots of different
I'm like I don't know what's going to happening with the rendering here
but it
looks rough visually I think
but this dude looks cool
then we got a PS Plus stuff
we got Micopunk a hyper
customizable co-op looter shooter for one to four players
we've fucked up not playing this one man
it's a devolver game and
it always looked extremely fun
and it's it was one of those that was
in kind of an early access demo period
for a bit.
I want to give it a shot.
I just,
there's so many things.
And the classics announcements,
we got Mega Man X command mission
coming this month,
Dino Crisis 2 later this year
and Ratched and Clank later this year.
Always cool to hear Dino Crisis said.
Then we got the Saros Zenith update
coming from Housemark.
Then they tossed in kind
into this PlayStation Plus part,
which it angers us.
I mean, me for sure,
but us in general.
Just like,
what are we doing?
Why did we do this?
Why didn't we stop
and make a big deal
like Soros is getting to do?
shit. Put this like
near the beginning or
near the end or something. I don't know. It's just a
weird place to put it but
dude, Star Wars rules.
Don't, you know, don't forget about
December, bless. Don't forget
December. Even though this game came out in like
April or something like that.
But that's where I'm at with
like just reminding people how amazing
the art direction is in this game and just
how fun it is to play
the gyro aiming
excites the hell out of me because there's...
I feel like they heard Andy talk about it.
Dude, I think maybe Alana...
No, Alana wanted a boss rush.
I don't know if she wanted...
What did Cisco?
What did Cisco want a gyro aiming?
Yes.
Gotta let him know.
Yeah, dude.
And because a lot of the weapons in this game
have the auto aim
where it just, if you're in the general direction,
the bullets are immediately going
to the enemies, but
there are some weapons that don't have that
and require the precision.
And to hit those weak spots with gyraaming just feels like it makes perfect sense.
And it's what I wanted from the start.
But this is super exciting.
This game rules so much.
And it deserves to sell so many more copies than it has so far.
Lil Rindler Super Chad is saying, let's just go know gyro's coming to saw us.
Yeah.
That's very, very funny.
He was the one who demanded it.
He was the one of, this is how it all happened.
Anthony in the chat was saying that the ration clank is, it's the PS2 version,
but it's now running in 4K60 and has a whole new trophy list.
Oh, that's not even the PS3 remaster.
It's like the OG butt updated.
I love when they do.
Very cool.
Like, that's awesome.
He's doing it.
Here we go.
Plus,
what if we just find a time machine,
go back in time,
play some more splitune?
But we get Mike involved.
Dude, I was thinking about Splatoon.
Mike would love Splatoon.
Dude, Mike would absolutely love Splatoon.
Greg, what's good.
Cisco, you're live on kind of funny right now.
How are you?
Whoop, who.
Boop, boba, blah,
whizzo, whizzo, was it.
Do you know yet?
that you've changed video games.
Today, during PlayStation's state of play,
they announced they are bringing gyro aiming to Saros.
Yes.
Yes.
That's all you, my friend.
You did that.
We did it.
We wanted you to hear the good news.
Are you well?
Yes.
How about you on the fan?
Yeah, we're doing great.
I don't know if you know I'm the four-peat champion on Game Showdown.
It's insane.
It's insane, dude.
Hang up the phone.
All right.
I'll send you some links to watch.
later. I got to get back to the show. I'll talk to you later.
All right, bye.
Just like calling an old, like, you know,
classmate.
Meanwhile, it's Cisco the Dragon.
The Zenith update
adds Overlord Rush, a brand new mode
where you take on the phone.
Enemies from the main
game back to back. Go for high score and
compete with players around the world using
integrated leaderboards and a throwback to the classic
arcade style. Dude, I love that.
I just fucking love leaderboards, dude.
The update also brings Eclipse Layers, a new game plus mode, which allows seasoned and enforcers to put their skills to the ultimate test.
After clearing Sarros players can return to the beginning and take on a more challenging version of the game.
You can rise to meet those trials with even more progression options and new carcocin modifiers to customize your experience.
There are also new secrets and trophies to discover as you delve deeper into the eclipse layers.
And then there's all those accessibility features.
So yeah, very, very cool.
No co-op.
I was going to say, do you think we'll ever get to co-op?
No, I feel like the internet makes when I bring it up.
but one day.
I mean, you're right about it.
Why?
Why do they hate it?
I agree with you.
Yeah, they don't know.
It's odd.
I don't know why the internet doesn't want co-op an optional option in the game.
Like, anytime there is a third-person shooter, it's just always, like, if you could play with a friend, it's just always sick as hell.
You know what, you know what, Greg, we're not even talking about the show anymore.
When Nick was here last week and when we were really low on Coke Zero and probably were out, honestly, to be real with you, he was like,
man you know what I had a lot of fun
I've been thinking about that one game we played
together where we were all like
in kind of like medieval battles
tears of metal
he was into tears of metal yeah he was
I've been thinking about it since
they had new characters you know already
oh yeah I did see that
I did see that tears metal
that really play the game yeah
I hope PlayStation doesn't like
leave house mark behind
I don't even want you to speak it like
I don't want to hear it right now
it sounds like Saros didn't do
amazingly
I feel like the tenor on it compared to
returnal is way lower.
And it's like you're just shoving this update trailer.
In the worst spot.
In the worst spot.
Yeah.
And not making a big deal out.
And then you're linking the wrong link on social media.
You're putting a fucking state of play link from June.
It's like, who?
It hurts.
Right now, bless, you're talking about like fucking the polar ice caps.
And I don't want to hear the.
Yeah.
It's like 10 years where we're going to be all underwater.
Oh.
If COVID number two doesn't get us first.
How fucking dare you all not by Saros, man?
It pisses me on.
Just understand what you have places.
Don't fuck up house market.
Please.
Please.
Scary times.
A lot of people make a wrong decision.
Not everybody can sell 30 million copies or whatever in two weeks.
Grand Charismos get an update.
Spec 4 later this year.
We're getting some in October.
We're getting some in December.
Across these two updates,
players can look forward to new circuits and cars,
additional ways to compete and features designed to make the world of Grant
Charism are more welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
2027 is the 30th anniversary.
Stay tuned.
I will.
In the world of Grand Tourism.
Then we got until dawn to coming January 28th,
2027.
We've partnered with our friends at Ad Hoc Studio,
the brilliant minds behind the acclaimed dispatch.
So you can expect a deeply layered story
packed with rich characters,
razor sharp dialogue,
fraught relationships,
tough decisions,
and yes,
more than a few gruesome deaths.
Every choice,
every interaction can ripple with dramatic consequences.
There could not have been better news today,
legitimately.
For real, Andy.
Like this is yeah
It's crazy narratively
You played dispatch and my first thought
Was the same thought I had after playing
Citizen Sleeper 1 and 2 of like man I wish you could write on everything else
And like to be able to get that talent
And nailing like the razor sharp dialogue
That game is so sharply and like witting
Whittily written
Whitting? It's just great
It's fucking great Mike
Yeah this is a big one for me as someone where it's like
I love Until Dawn
I like that team right
and now we have until dawn, but with a new team, and I start to go, I don't know, right?
Am I fully in on this?
We saw it with Little Nightmares Andy this year where it's like,
hey, sometimes you hand it off and it's not the same, right?
Re-animal?
Yeah, when you give me, hey, we got a nice announcement of like,
we're team with another team that really blew your way last year.
Let's have some confidence.
I have a lot more confidence in this game now.
Yeah.
Yeah, me and Greg, of course, are playing all the supermassive games.
And throughout-
Supermass of September.
Supermassive September.
Stop it.
Throughout all the dark picture stuff,
it feels like there are such varying levels of quality.
Every now and then they put out a house of ashes,
and it's like, whoa, okay, you guys are kind of cooking.
And then they'll put out a devil in me,
and then they'll put out a devil in me, and then they'll put out a directive of 8020.
It's like, what are you doing?
But then they'll put out a quarry.
And they hit you with a quarry.
And it's like,
you can never tell which level of supermassive you're getting.
As I watched this trailer, this fire sprite version of what there,
until dawn is, looks great all throughout, right?
the choices have me excited.
The ways in which they're showing you
how these choices are going to matter
seems exciting, right?
Like Andy talks about
with the part of the ad hoc studio,
they're saying all the right things.
And I'm going to bring it back even further,
talking about the PlayStation lineage of it.
Of course, Supermassive was working with PlayStation
at a certain point,
making until dawn, right?
Yeah, until dawn was an exclusive.
I mean, obviously PlayStation owns the IP.
But then I also look at a studio like Quantic Dream
who's making a similar type of game
with these choose your own adventure,
you know, these
branching paths,
high fidelity, right?
I feel like that's been lost
like very heavily
in the last 10 years
on the PlayStation side
and that was kind of part
of what I saw
PlayStation's identity as
PlayStation if you remember
went and built a whole
social link system around it.
Yeah,
use your phone to play
and do this thing.
Erica, hidden agenda.
Like that for me
was such a strong part
of the PlayStation identity
that's been lost.
And so I really hope
that this could be a step
into kind of regaining that.
What's interesting about it
in watching
Granted, this is just a trailer.
I wonder how much gameplay is in it.
Because what they're showing are such stylized choices and pulling the lead shirt.
But I mean, like, is there at all us walking around an environment and picking things up?
Or are we just watching the movie and then when it gets to the choices slash pulling things doing stuff?
I'd be kind of into it, not walking around.
I mean, that's always a thing that kind of breaks it, right?
Like, I think we can all say, oh, we want.
But is that a game?
It's like, I'd rather be an interactive horror movie where I'm making choices rather than the walking.
Can I interact with this?
And McGinnigley, please go to the other world.
Like, well, up there's a collectible.
You're breaking up the narrative.
It's going to show me something.
Exactly. Oh, my God.
Look really hard because it's going to pop up for three seconds.
Yeah.
Rotate it.
Rotate it.
Oh, there's a little, like, slip in there.
It's vibrating.
Shalupa Batman says, I know this blonde guy, actor, I know him,
but this model doesn't look anything like him,
but I forget who it is.
Dakker.
Yeah, Dakker Montgomery is the Red Ranger from the last Power Rangers movie,
and he's also in a stranger things.
And then we got two members of Cobur Kai in this.
Don't you forget?
Really?
Never forget?
Asterian.
from Ballard's 8 3.
Looks great Nubon.
And he's got a great American accent.
I didn't expect that.
I don't even notice it.
Then we have GTA,
six controllers,
two of them.
We get a black one and a white one.
They both look pretty damn sweet.
Les,
what did you think about Neil Nubon
in the Liza P.
DLC?
He was in the Liza P.LC?
Who was he in the Liza P.D.L.
He was like one of the MPCs you thought.
It was amazing.
I didn't even notice.
I think these controllers are cool.
Yeah,
they look fan.
I will rush out to buy.
I need more yellow.
Oh, really?
I need a fade to orange.
It's okay.
I would love it if it had like the color scheme over here a bit more.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It doesn't look bad by any means.
I'm not blown away by this.
I guess they look a little more nebula.
It's okay without the yellow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It looks at Miami Vice.
You're right, Andy, on that one.
Yeah.
Get the Miami Heat designer in there.
Let's get this thing going.
It would have been cool if the touchpad was just like maybe didn't have the VI,
but it was if it was like the standard ripples that they have,
but it was that great.
Yeah.
That would be pretty neat.
Yeah, I like that actually
It looks like something you'd buy from scuff
I don't like the six on the touchpad
I think that's my thing
Me too
I wanted to be themed GTA6
But I don't want it to be like
Oh, I got this GTA6 merch in my room
You know?
Yeah, mm-hmm
I know I want it to be over the top
Yeah, yeah
I don't like logos on my stuff
I also don't like logos on my stuff
Unless it's like a brand
Unless it's like a Nike logo
You know what I mean
I like it like I want my logo to mean
Excellence
I like when age
I like when a game thing
When a game shirt is like
like if you know you know. Yeah. Oh, I agree. Yeah. Settled tea stuff.
Finishing it off, we have Final Fantasy 7. Revelation. Getting a release date of April 8th,
2027. There's a lot more that's dropped from this game that I haven't had the time to
fully look into. But looks like there's DLC announced. What? Two sets of DLC.
Is it more a Wutang? One focusing on Sephiroth and one focusing on Vincent. Sounds perfect.
Which I'm like.
Surge of Cerberus
and Advent children
Are we
Getting story things after the game
Based on those things that happen
Later in the storyline
Because holy shit
That's pretty sick
That would be absolutely insane
What if they broke up part three
And two parts
And then you got the first one
Then the DLCs in the second part
That'd be crazy
I'm sending assets
This right now
I don't know where the high quality version of it is
But they just released the key art
For the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy
and I'm still
it is
incredible man
oh my god
remake at the top
rebirth in the middle
you print that out
you put that on a wall
and you and you be proud of it
you know
this looks so good
man that looks so
I love that it also focuses on the characters
that are like introduces being playable
in each of the games going down
getting the whole cast there
the fire the three colors of it
from green to blue to red
this is
good. It's that good stuff, man.
That's hot.
Holy shit. I don't think I've ever played a series that's more like we're going to do,
we're going to give our fans everything that they could possibly want.
It's this and Super Smash Bros.
Yeah, straight up. And like, as we were watching the,
gameplay trailer, it's like, I was, I kept freaking out like, oh my God,
the remaking the game, which I know sounds stupid for a Final Fantasy remake of seven,
but that's, it's crazy that we got here after the three games.
It took three games to get to the point that Midgar is now fully realized.
thinking about the first game, or sorry, not Midgar, the first game was Midgar.
This being the entire world now of like, they added a bit more of it in rebirth.
And now all of it here, having the airship be able to fly over it.
It's like, dang, dude, the full realization of Final Fantasy 7 being remade is upon us.
And getting the actual revelations of what the story beats are all going to be.
I can't wait.
Again, them featuring Zach on the cover, they did it last time.
And that, I felt a little bit swindled.
all of it, where it's like, we got
a little, but we really didn't get enough.
We really didn't get the answers I'm looking
for, which is fine. We have one more game, but him being
here again, I popped off
during the trailer thing there, but it's like, we get to see the reunion
of Zach and Ayrth. This is such
big deal shit to me, and
it's still real to me, David. It's so real
to me, but I'm like, what's going on there?
Like, I don't know if it's just a flashback
to crisis core of them in the church,
because it could be. I need to look at what
they're where I know, because Aresth was younger then.
We got to get...
The younger...
We got to get Maximilian on a pod with Tim.
Yeah.
I would just sit in the fucking next to the big shark.
Just be and Andy sitting over there.
Um, Kevin, can you just...
I don't even know it's a 10-minute fucking thing and it's in here somewhere,
but there's some part where we see Zach and Ares.
I would love somebody who's not...
Oh, it must be just in this trailer part in the beginning.
Tim, I don't know who Zach or...
...that's okay.
That is fair.
It's like gold bar with that.
I don't know
There's been a mistake
Um
They're here
Here here here
Which one's Eric
It's the girl
Her name is Eric
They're there
They seem excited to see each other
Yeah look at them
Wait is this the church
Or is this
Despite her house
It looks like outside her house
Yeah
Okay but yeah okay
So she's
Give it to us again, Kevin.
Yeah.
So they met in Crisis Corps, which is the prequel.
Oh, that's...
And, like, that's...
Eric is in definitively different outfit then.
And he met her mom in the last game.
Yeah.
So, okay, this is the...
I don't remember that.
What a game.
Dude, he... Zach is back, bro.
Zach Jack.
Look at his face seeing here, guys.
This is crazy, man.
This is crazy.
Like, remember when you and I were gonna...
co-op one of this one of the streams and we're like man we can't wait to dive into the story
and we spent like the first three hours of a four-hour stream and I was just doing one of the
choke-a-one of the choke-a-boe-moni-during we're out there man we got nowhere
yeah oh man I'm so excited to watch a maximilian or someone break this down and
really get him on man oh so sick the weapons are huge diving out
the high wind to like fight them
that's gonna be so dang sick
and what's up with the DLC
somebody inform me on this DLC
I need to know what have they said
Tell me baby girl
Cause I need to know
Tell me
Um
mom Fancy 7 Revelation will have two different
DLCs there's a story expansion pass
When you get a bunch of accessories and bullshit
And then yeah okay story DLC one Sephora
The story DLC 2 is Vincent
and the Turks.
Vincent and the Turks.
I think it's going to be
happen children in church.
That's cool.
That's crazy that one game can have so much con.
I forgot I played Crisis Corps.
They remade it and I played it.
Totally forgot that happened.
DLCs won't be available immediately.
Instead, they'll be released between winter 2027 and spring
2028.
Wow.
The story will never end.
We went to theater and watched Advent children.
Remember that?
Yeah, we did.
Dude, we sure did.
That was wild.
And a separate trailer has dropped the release of a trailer, but I'll watch that on my own time.
Moving on, we then get into the PlayStation state of play for the Japan.
Dragon Balls Universe 3.
I don't have much to say.
And I'm not, I tried the Universe 1 into you.
Those didn't really stick with me.
I did a preview that, where they just showed like a video of here's a bunch of things.
things. One of the things is that you can
transform your, like, mid-fight
transform your creative character into like
an existing Dragon Ball character. They made a big deal
out of that. That seemed pretty neat.
But it looks cool. I'll probably
try it again. And then Andy,
we had fate slash extra
record coming January 28th.
Fate slash
extra record. That's the one that Greg
read the press release and was like every, after
10 years or whatever. Yeah. People were stoked.
Many decades? I don't remember what it looked like.
There was a promo for
Tokyo Game Show.
There was another Monster Hunter extended interview.
Then Dragon Quest Monsters, the Withered World coming December 3rd.
Go get them.
Then the eminence in shadow phantom echoes.
Of course.
This titles the first console 3D action roguelight game based on the eminence in shadow anime.
It adopts roguelite elements in which the character abilities are randomly enhanced
during each playthrough, allowing characters to craft unique builds from a wide variety
of combinations and enjoy combat against challenging enemies coming 2027.
Was this the one with the blood and the jiggle?
Yes.
I love you so.
It may have been.
I love you so much.
Then we have rematch Blue Lock CoLab
coming September 24th.
Bless you dropping everything for this.
Man, September 24th, first of all,
this should have happened six months after
after rematch came out.
We're a year and a half too late for this.
That said, this might save the game.
Not that the game needs saving.
I don't know where we're at with the rematch.
Either way, I think this is going to bring
a lot of people back in, at least for a day.
Will I hop in?
probably for a day
for a day you got me rematch
this one I love this
although I will say
it was the peak
you can't do anything bigger than this
is rematch
this is the thing that everybody wanted
this is the thing that we've all been waiting for
they got 4,600 playing right now
I just looked at it on Steam only
I could not believe that yeah
it's a really good game
it's awesome we had a great time
I'll jump into this
I wonder what the numbers were during the World Cup
let me look oh probably pretty good
man put us in the cool arena
of the practice arena where they practice.
Give us some of the cool characters.
Maybe make up some fun power-ups.
Let's get weird.
Yeah. Oh, yeah, I didn't even think about that.
Yeah, put us in that specific arena.
That'd be fun.
Then we got Where the Seeds Fall.
This is from Sy Games' new sublabel,
Sy Games Edge, a new label,
A New Label focused on creating bold experimental game experiences
alongside its debut title,
Where The Seeds Fall, Coming to PS5, November 5th.
The Action Adventure follows a soldier and a fell child
as they descend the World Tree toward the blight-stricken surface,
navigating ruins, wind, and dangerous drops along the way.
Always.
It's only down.
Only down.
Like when we first got the title thing of where the seeds fall,
man, that's a stupid ass name.
And then you see the game and it's like,
you know what,
you kind of earned the name for me.
Yeah.
I'll give you that.
Mike, you hopping in,
you hopping down?
You know what, Tim?
I'll hop in one time to see what's up with that.
Yeah.
It's an odd choice,
but we will see if that pays off for them.
Blessing big news.
Check this out.
What's that?
So rematch
Before the World Cup
And after has always been hovering around the 5,000, 6,000, 4,000 player mark
Sure sure sure
World Cup starts
June 8th
They hit 10,000
And they went as low as like
9600
Up until like the end of the World Cup
Shout up the rematch, man
Good for them
They made a lot of money off that game
They sold in like the first few weeks
They sold like millions of copies
And that's a paid game
Let's get C-foot-2.
Come on.
We're going to get C-F2.
C-F2 is going to rock.
Oh, my God, yes, please.
World Phasebound Control Authority, WPCA.
Man, this is just like a lot of things.
It's coming from Kraft-on.
New Action RPG coming in 2028, set in soul.
Players take on the role of containment agent,
entering containment zones to confront bizarre supernatural phenomena.
Oh, this game.
It was like every backroom.
Right here.
And I was just like, is he fucking with me?
Did he just add a game that we didn't see?
This is the one that ended with the pixelated shit.
It's like what you was happening.
Had the kaju cleanup crew as well in there.
Backrooms.
Everything control.
Backrooms control.
But it was like an action RPG.
Astral plane, remember?
I dropped that.
Dude, slash zero looks rad.
That demo's out now, by the way.
Slash Zero is not next, Andy.
Because next is,
Stupid Never Dies.
October 21st.
Demo out today.
I don't know.
Cool.
I'm not, yeah.
I'll check out the demo.
Yeah.
this feels like a game that should be made by Suda
Yes
1000%
I feel like if Suda was making it
It would have a bit more attitude
That would appeal to me
And now Andy slash zero
Side scrolling action rogue like demo
Today featuring three playable characters
Boss battles and more than 10 hours of content
This is spring 2027
Dude I had seen this
This was one of those Twitter games
Or was just always in my algorithm
And I kept on seeing it
And one day I was trying to search for it
And I kept on looking for Blade Zero
Or Zero or Zero
Blade and I was going fucking crazy.
I was like, did I hallucin this game?
I dreamed this game. Yeah.
It looks awesome, dude. I think it's
one of those like super promising
games that reminds me a lot of
another game that we haven't really
hopped into. DeVinnom is another
like indie title that has crazy
2D character action
with like just insanely stylish moves.
This, I mean, this looks a lot
like it's a lot of fun. I want to check it out.
Then we got, oh man.
Echoes of Vinecraft.
Yeah.
You nailed it.
Genesis Maiden.
Genesis Maiden brings a new storyline.
It's side quest to extend the journey of players across new areas of floors one and two of Eyncrad.
Introducing a new alley.
You don't need to know this.
You get it.
You don't give a shit about this game, everybody.
Ignacio, you know you care.
You know all about it.
You don't need to worry about it.
Tim lashing out on us.
I really hope you're happy, Ignacio.
I do not have super chats.
It says my highlights have to be echoes of Iancred and Digimon DLCs.
Wow.
You guys clearly have no taste.
Come on, Tim.
P.S.
Google.
What does this one have on that a critic?
Like a 64.
Got it.
Okay.
Cool.
Cool.
Digim.
Digimon DLC.
A hero's eternal legacy.
This is coming 2027.
It takes a lot to have a game be that low, man.
Like that's kind of crazy.
It's like, like, well, I'm saying damage.
It's Tim's lashing out.
Tim's been on camera.
And he's hiding up with this bullshit.
I'm happy if people are happy.
Digimon DLC, a hero's eternal legacy coming in 2027,
taking place three years after the main game,
introducing a new protagonist and partner,
along with 50 new Digimon.
There's also a phone that turns into a gun.
We heard recently that Time Stranger is the most financially successful
Digimon project yet.
That's freaking awesome.
I love that the franchise keeps finding new life.
And yeah, people really, really like this.
games are getting more of it. Good for you. Good for you. You got a gun phone.
Got a goddamn gun phone, man. Never thought I'd see the day. Then we have conk.
Crown of no quarter.
Kong felt very out of place here. Yeah. Very out of place. Yeah. It sure did. But it also just didn't
look like what I thought it was going to be. And then when I saw, when it eventually kind of did
become what I thought was going to be, I was like, man, this looks rough, dude. Because I see all this.
Okay, my first thought was, oh, shit, are they like,
because I know First Preserker, that studio was kind of shuttered,
but are they doing another one?
It kind of reminded me of the art style.
And then it was like, oh, we're just doing,
we're like doing ship combat stuff.
Okay, fascinating.
It feels like there's a lot of genres here with, like,
the commanding of troops reminds me of Capcom.
Goddess, Way of the Path of the Way.
Path of the Goddess.
In Tugami.
Nizugami.
Nizugami.
Nail it.
You guys got there.
With, like, a lot of elements.
I'm not saying, like, it looks similar.
But, like, when we see this, I'm like, oh, it's just a boat combat game.
But then when you land on the ground, you are then, like, summoning dead bodies to become, like, your kind of army with you.
I'm like, there's a lot of just shit happening.
I got that dynasty warrior's action.
And you could be a bird, Tim?
I'm like a bird.
I only fly away.
It's just a lot of.
The crown of no quarter.
Yeah.
A lot of.
And then...
I thought you'd like that!
Greg almost got me here.
No, no, that's really happened.
I put that in there.
He wrote Rhapsody is Baxity.
Because they were talking about more Rhapsody here.
It was more Rev Noir.
So you're getting through, you're getting through it.
Rhapsody and Scarlet.
Yep.
And then Daba, Land of Water Scards is from the China Hero Project.
It's developed by Darkstar Games as part of PlayStation's China Hero Project.
Coming to PS5 in spring.
A new trailer gives us another look at its fantastical world.
where players take on the role of a clayman
journeying across the land where the waters have run dry.
Keep your eyes on this one.
Look neat.
This could be good.
Again, this is back to the India Hero project,
the China Hero project.
I'd love to see PlayStation,
any company supporting smaller devs,
you know,
who are trying to get into this and crack into it.
So I thought, yeah,
I thought Daba land of the water scar looked interesting enough.
And then Ghost of Yote,
we got more of that.
We got a deep dive with the Japanese voice actress for Atsu.
Real deep dive.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was like really long.
Yeah.
Good for them.
That's it.
Those are the state of plays.
Two state of plays.
Back to back to back.
Back to back, everybody.
Let's get to the super chats.
Super chats.
What people had to say throughout the day.
Utterly appalling says never got to watch live so I need never get to watch live.
So I need to ask, bless Tim or anyone, have you checked out the draft mode in Marvel Snap?
It's pretty special.
No, but I hear that this has been a nice like draft mode.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
I mean.
What does that mean?
What does that mean?
Rather than having.
all your cars or whatever you're drafting specific.
Oh, that's cool.
I might check that out, actually.
Yeah, online people have been super into it.
I've been seeing on my social.
So, yeah, check that out.
That's super cool.
She is still playing every day.
She had to back off eventually.
She had a baby.
Dude, no, I'm so disappointed in her.
Because I told her.
Damn.
I was like, you can't, you can't, you can't play mobile games that you find for mobile game ads.
You know what I need?
Oh, nice, says Mike.
I look over every night.
I don't know.
You do, Mike.
I like that one zombie game
where you go back and forth side.
No, no, no.
You shoot through that ring, it takes your points.
Speak, says, to the goat, Greg Miller,
and Goats of Gaming News, KFG.
Thank you so much.
Hey, thank you.
I'm just a billy says, what do you all have for breakfast?
I want to rank your choices.
I haven't eaten anything.
I have little egg bites.
Nice.
I made.
Home-made egg mc muffins.
Oh, wow.
Can you make me an egg mc muffin one day?
Sure.
I mean, it won't be warm by the time again.
Yeah.
Can you add shrimp and pasta?
Yeah, shrimp and pasta.
You challenge me.
I appreciate that.
Oh, it's a different meal completely.
Joshy Frogg says, first game with a zip line,
Home Alone on the Super Nintendo.
Oh, damn.
Ruderbo says, Uncanny gives me Bastion vibes in the best of ways.
Yeah.
Yeah, 100%.
I can see it.
It looked only puzzly.
Then there was a segment of the best of ways.
It was like three wolves surrounding the little dude with a sword.
And I was like, ooh, the sword and spell gamers eating big right now.
Jimmy Mac 88 says Xbox is Cappy Cloud Gaming Time starting in November.
We'll cover that on Games Daily tomorrow.
If you guys didn't know, of course, we have in the chat, Sky, from Minnesota.
Turns out she was out on the open range today because she says, I had a sausage with a piece of bread for breakfast.
Cooked it over, campfire.
cast iron skillet packed it back up
I was heading to Valentine,
Dutch
Beans got games
The homie says Tim do you think
they'll have Ruby weapon fight stipulation
and revelation
That's the thing is I do
I don't know if
Yes
They'll have some reference to that
And they will make it work somehow
But I think that the weapon fights
I expect them to all
Not be traditional
The same combat
That we're getting in the rest of the game
Like I think that there'll be much bigger
Setpiece crazy actiony things
which gets me hyped.
Jeff Bull Jr. says I'm eating spicy chicken.
Congrats.
Oh, spicy nuggets are back, by the way.
I was about to say a couple days ago, I walked off shows
and there was a bunch of spicy nuggets,
courtesy of Andy Cortez.
It made my day eating those damn McDonald's spicy nuggets.
That was such a beautiful moment.
Dude, yeah, I've, I had to send a photo last night to DoorDash
or the other night to DoorDash because I ordered 20 nugs
or spicy nugs they sent red.
regular.
I have a photo in my
like just camera roll of
just two bags of regular.
How does that make you feel?
How does that make you feel when you have your memories?
Well, because I'm not getting it with fries.
So it's like I feel a little bit better about it.
Okay, fair.
And also I'm not eating all of them,
but just kidding, I am.
I'm lying.
Toss them to Lulu.
Uh,
Zorro says his Final Fantasy 7 launching on Switch 2.
Yes, it is.

This chicken's pretty spicy.
I'm sweating.
Uh,

fair enough for you jeff back in college they would do spicy chicken sandwich at the dining
halls and even after all the antlers had moved off campus we would trick freshmen into britain
not trick them we would tell them they'd bring us to the dining halls and we'd bring ziplock bags
and we'd go up there and get the spicy chicken and put it in the bag and they'd get another
put a bag and then put them in the freezer and have spicy chicken sandwich is ready to go
on demand that's a free tip for everybody out wow i'm a friend of freshman

I was like,

song Topkov.
That seems fun.
And we got a bunch of cool dolls.
Yeah,
that's been nice.
Scarlett Libra says,
not sure if you know this,
but Mick Gordon's
composing the Gundam Rogue
Orbit soundtrack.
Whoa.
That makes a lot of sense
from what we were hearing.
That's rad.
That's pretty sick, actually.
Um,
the kebab says,
Russian Kank 1,

Andrew says,
I give it a 4.5 at best,
a few good things,
but not much.
Uh, Mr.
or M. Night Chamo says, uh, what's going on with
Fort's of Horizon 6?
Good question.
It really is a good question.
How was it not here?
Is it just going to be shadow dropped one day?
Yes.
Are they just like, hey, you know what?
We're so busy carrying about making sure the Xbox
brand matters that we'll lose money and not promote this fucking game that
could make us millions of dollars.
Like, fuck it.
It's going to sell well, though, when it comes over there.
Is it going to come?
Yeah, it will come.
It has to.
It will come.
Asha might have put her foot down just like she just did today on cloud streaming
Oh y'all are enjoying that no more caps

Kobe says Andy have to look at the Gundam collector's edition it's sick as fuck
Mr. Ox says this is a 10 out of 10 for one reason man eater two baby
I'm looking at an article from Eurogamer from a few days ago
The Virgins Tom Warren recently wrote on X that he's not quote
expecting to see force horizon 6 on p.s. 5 in 2026,
responding to a tweet asking whether the game had been quietly delayed to 2027.
IGN later revealed in his coverage of the coverage of the post
that the site understands this to be accurate.
There we go.
Damn, this collection is edition.
Ending Senate assets.
It's not even like a model either.
Send it to assets, he said.
And Sun West says, I saw the Blue Lock anime recently.
I'm caught up on the manga,
and that made me want to get back in.
to rematch. This is perfect for me.
Hell yeah. Hell yeah, dude. That's awesome.
And there you go, everyone. We're out to
pull up this collector's edition. Oh.
Looks like the pragmatic guy.
How big is that 18 inches?
18 inches of Gundam?
Minimum, well.
I love it here, everybody.
That's been our live reactions to the state of play.
That's been our kind of footing games cast to the state of plays.
Thank you so much for joining us today after this.
Does anyone know what is going on?
Yeah, everybody.
It's time for a gamescast place where I show the blood of Dawn Walker and how much fun I have in that game.
Well, I think you need my draw.
Yeah, I'm drawing the next winner.
We're going to eat some pizza, though.
Of the games cast intro art for anybody who wants to be in the games cast intro art
and get my little avatar drawn by me as a little 8-bit character.
This person chose to be Star Killer.
I'm going to be drawing this.
I think it's Darth D.
Doobie, actually.
Oh, I like that.
Yeah, so if...
You're right to try to tell me
that Star Killer's name was...
Oh, no.
I'm very excited for that.
Very cool.
And then our final super chat of the day,
Joshua Turner says,
I need y'all to name three Drew Hill songs.
In my bed.
Beauty.
Oh, yeah.
Wow, wow, West.
I would count.
Yeah, yeah.
Tell me.
Fuck you.
You don't know shit about us.
And with that, everybody.
Stay tuned.
