This is a special games cast. This is a really fun one. It's a little flip-flop because we're going to do something different.

And I was on that one already. Yeah, we're going to do the Dark Souls review. And listen, get mad at me. I'm the one that came in and changed this. I was excited to talk about Dark Souls. Honestly, it's been like a week and a half since I played Dark Souls. So I've already kind of like... See, now you get it.

Yeah. I tell Andy this all the time. It's like, you can catch me... I'm not fresh off it anymore. A day or two days after. A week later, I've already told the stories. I've already forgotten the stories. Yeah, exactly.

But the bigger thing here is that IGN has started to release their top 100 Xbox games. They put up the first part of it, which is their 100 through 75 games listed. And me and you, I mean, here's the thing. Me and Tim are the list bros. Me and you, though, we've had a couple of good lists. We've had a couple of classics.

We've had a couple of good lists. Me and you did the top 100 PlayStation games. And that, for me, that's a bona fide. For me, that's a bona fide classic. Yeah. And so I thought it would be a really good pivot for us to talk about this, especially because we are leading into the Xbox developer underscore direct,

where we're going to learn all about this year of Xbox from the team at Xbox. Perfect layup from you. Yes. I saw that. Slack channel. I was like, blessing's thinking ahead right now. Yeah, and so, hey, we got Xbox vibes this week. You know, this week we're talking about the green team. Is that what you call

it? The green team team? Is that what you mean? Team green? Team green. Team green. I like that. Team green. And so we're going to get all into it. We're going to predict what else is going to be on the list. And we're going to talk about what's in their top 100 through 75. is a shit list. That's where I go online. I find a top 10 list. I bring it back to Mike, and we judge it for your amusement. Like I said, we're reacting to IGN's top 100 games, except they only have the first part of it. And so we're going to do a lot of discussion

and predicting around what's going to be on that list this episode. But to start off, Mike, when I say top 100 Xbox games, one of the first games that come to mind for you? Halo, gears, Forza, fable, Minecraft.

See, now we start to play a game here. Yeah, what's an Xbox? Are we talking about OG Xbox? We're talking about Xbox, the generations, right? Because Mass Effect One will probably be on this. Which one? Mass Effect One was an OG exclusive for a time period. So like a lot of Xbox gamers hold that kind of near and dear to their heart.

So like, will that be on this? Did one even, did Mass Effect one ever come out on PlayStation aside from Legendary Edition? Let me know, chat. Was that on PS3? I don't remember if that came. I remember booting up Mass Effect 2 on PS3. Will there be Xbox 360 arcade games, right? Oh, there's got to be.

People are saying yes. It did come to PS3. Cotor, yep, Cotor's a great pull from the chat right there. So there's like a fun line that my mind goes to. It's like, I started with OG Xbox. Yeah. I was like, all right, let's get down to the original box. Let's talk about that, Mike.

And then my mind started a wander of like, well, now we're going to go down the list. Go down. Here's what I want you to do. let it all out. Give me all the... Well, bless, I brought some props. I brought some props for you. Wow, okay.

I brought some propped for you. I brought some plops because I thought it'd be fun. I sent two things to assets for Kevin because when I think of my OG Xbox, there's some games that I hold near and dear to my heart. And there's some moments similar to you with your PlayStation or Nintendo, everyone listening out there.

And I actually want to start off with two controllers that I sent to Kevin in assets. Mad Cats. Now many of you know, Mad Cats was that off-brand that your mom or dad bought because they were cheaper than the actual, you know, official controllers. And I hold these ones near and dear to my hearts because I had two.

This mini green Duke that Kevin showed the first one of, this thing was my everything. It took the Duke controller and made it small and miniaturized. And it felt good in my hands. It had like these rubberized grips on the side, a wicked see-through jungle green like my N-16. and it was just so sick looking. Dude.

So my memories of the original Xbox, of course, I never owned the original Xbox as a kid. However, my next door neighbor, Freddie did. I was at Freddy's place all the time playing Xbox games

and my youth group at church had an original Xbox. In fact, I think they had a couple of original Xboxes. And Kevin, you can bring that controller back up. That controller, they had at my church

because of course, they weren't going to spend the money to buy an actual Xbox controller. No, they were buying that Madcats one. So when I tell you, that green luminesse controller on the left, I am a fucking beast at NBA Street, volume two with that specific controller.

You don't want to see me on NBA Street volume two with that controller in my hand. And then I bring up that see-through orange one because that was my first ever wireless controller with the Xbox. I don't know. I think they had wireless controllers at that point. Mom and Dad definitely weren't buying

the official Xbox wireless controllers. If they did, we were buying these Mad Cat ones. I don't know if Xbox had wireless controllers. When I think back, I'm like, I remember a wireless remote that had that little plug-in that was like a TV changer, but I don't remember an official Xbox one. I remember they had long they had the ropes on them. They were small. They were mini. I don't remember the one, but I remember my Mad Cats one. I'll always remember the Mad Cats one. So I gave you those controllers just to bring you back to a time frame. And you brought up some great games. You brought

up NBA Street. And now when you stay, Mike rattles him off at me, Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero will be on this list. That's an Xbox game for you. Man, Fantasy Star Online was an Xbox game to me. Me and AJ played that a lot. Links, the OG golf game. Oh. That's a special one right there.

Project Gotham Racing, that's a special one. Can I throw a couple at you? I want some. Jet Set Radio Future. That was one that me and Freddie played through, and I was obsessed with that game. I played that before I ever even got around to the original JetSaid game,

but love that one. I don't know if that ends up on the top 100, but I love that game. Mech Salt. Can you tell me about, tell me the tales of Mechazol? You know what, bless? I never played Mechastole. You never play, okay. I can probably, I'd get close if we did a fun game showdown. I could probably get close to drawing it, but I couldn't tell you about Mechastalt.

I don't think I played that. I want to say, I, Mechazold, I think I know because I was watching G4 as a kid, and they brought up Mechast. And I was like, that looks like the coolest game of all times. But I had a PlayStation so I could ever play. I had a cousin that lived down the street that I think had Mechazol. Now I only played it once. And I didn't, not even for that long. I probably played it for like five minutes one time. And I was like, this is the fucking coolest shit ever. I love that everybody has those games. We're like, you played it for a little bit at somebody's house and you'll never forget it. Now, Kevin brings up, people had this custom controller for Mech Salt.

What was the other game? Steel Battalion. Was that an Xbox show? I believe that's a Steel Battalion controller. I don't know what Steel Battalion was on. I never played that either. That definitely was not my move there. You know, it's funny, you bring that up?

Sonic with the Chow Gardens. Yeah. that I played at Victor's House on the GameCube and I'll never forget that it was like my one and only Sonic experience and I thought it was the fucking greatest that's the best one to go to a friend's house

and I never played Sonic again that's the thing that I miss about having friends no I miss about growing up and like not having the access to buy multiple consoles or whatever is that like you just had what you had and so I had an SD4 and then I had a PS2 and so it would be I'd have to go to Addison's house

because he had a PS2 before I had a PS2 so I was experiencing these games or whatever. Or he had a Super Nintendo when I had an NCT4. And so he's the reason why I learned about Street Fighter or all these things. And yeah, Freddie, it's like, damn, all right, I played so many Xbox games only through Freddie. Yeah. I would go over to his place. I think he had Links.

I think he had Links to Timesweeper. Blinks to Timesweeper. I remember when he busted that out. I don't think Blinks will be on this list. Not a top 100? I'm going to confidently say, I don't think Blinks is making this list here. Now, show me what games you have here. Now, I did bring some props, of course.

You know, I love to keep all my old games that I can, but I bought some new ones for me and Nick to play. Just some fun ones. This is 50 cent bulletproof and 50 cent blood in the sand. Now, do I think this is a top 100 game? No. No. But in my heart, is it a top 100 game?

Yes. Hell yeah. Like, I had to bring these because I do think maybe we'll get some fun love with that. Now we get into games that I think for sure will be on this list. we talk about NCAA football and NCAA basketball. I have a good feeling that there will be an NCAA college football on this list. I love that for you. I don't think you can think about the Xbox 360 and probably not think about NCAA football 2014.

This was the last entry in. This is where we did go the decade plus without being able to play a college football title. I just think that you think of back in the day, an NFL fever with Peyton Manning on the front, a Madden with Mike Vic on the front, a college football with your favorite college athlete, probably Dinard Robinson on that one. Like, I just don't think you think of video game consoles

and not put a sports title on there, right? Oh, for sure. Now, like, you and I might go NBA Street, NFL Street, FIFA Street. I might go Sega Soccer Slam, which is an underrepresented great soccer games. I was going to say, oh, NFL 2K-5. 2K?K.

Isn't that? Was that an Xbox one? I thought that was, you know what? Yeah, I think that was back with NFL fever back then. Because, like, I don't know if people have association with it. My mind goes to Sega Dreamcast, right? I think of the two-kays. Oh, that's a good way.

I think Almond I'm in with that. That's a good point. Randy Moss, I think, was on the one you're thinking of. Yeah. Or maybe it was Terrell Owens, but yeah, that one. Now, another fun one, I brought a connect game. Do I think that NBA baller beats with Deeran Williams on the front will be on this? No.

But the question is, the fun question, bad here. Can I see that? Yeah. Do you think? think that a connect game will be on this list. What is the best connect game ever made? I don't know. It's crazy that this is a connect game because this box art says like Xbox OG era.

Like even like the type face they use to like list the soundtrack, it looks like NBA Street. You know, they got like the degraded font that gives it like kind of the street style. That is just dance or dance dance revolution with a basketball. No. So they sold this game with an actual basketball and the idea would be, If you look on the back or if you showed a trailer, it would be just dance like you play on your switch with the movements,

but you would be doing it with the basketball. So you would do crossovers behind the backs, and you would try to score while essentially dancing. I know Andy Cortez love that game. I know Andy Cortez probably fucked with that game. So, okay, connect. Connect. If there's one connect game on the list, what is it?

Is it, is Dan Central? Connectibles. Yeah, probably a Dance Central. You might get into like a Star Wars game. The problem with me, and my connect is like no connect game was ever good. I can't think of one good connect game. Where I'm like, that was the one,

everyone around me talked about. I can't, I couldn't pull a single connect game out there. That's what I worry. Connected adventure, I don't know. Yeah. I mean,

Dance Central, right? Because I was using it for like Nike Fitness Pro. Okay. That shit was crazy. So like, yeah, I don't have a good. Yeah, people in chatter. People in chatter throwing out games, right?

Fruit Ninja. You mentioned the Star Wars, the I'm Han Solo meme is the one I remember Oh, there's one that somebody had in there That already got lost But like yeah, it doesn't seem like any of these connect games Are that's a fun

Over under We'll give it a little bit of a boost Uh huh 2.5 connect games on this Under To make three total, yeah I'm gonna say under under Yeah okay how about over under

1.5 2 or 1 or 9? I think 2 You think 2 is on this list? At most but I'm gonna say 2 I feel like Connect is like I don't think we'll see a single Connect game on this I have a good feeling we won't see it

depending on how much they reach into third party games Yeah I could see there to be no third party No connect game on the list because at that point You're gonna run out of space because I do think that they'll end up doing like They won't do every type of third party game But I think anything that has any association

With Xbox It's free game And I just think there's so much We learned It's 360 era there's just so much We learned when we did the PlayStation one right It's like you hold tight to those exclusives, those first parties. Yeah.

But we know there's going to be a lot of third parties on this. There's going to be a lot of games that like you could have played anywhere on this list. We're like, all right, like I guess on that, right? This is my question for you. What era of Xbox has the most games on this list? I got a clear answer. You would go 360. Ask me 360.

You would go 360, but like I'm just trying to like Xbox one. Xbox one generation will start to be the turn of more third party games that we'll see like a weird Metal Gear Solid will be on there like a metal gear solid five right yeah like that's the problem is you'll get into Xbox one and beyond and it will just be like oh these are games I played everywhere but I think that's thing I don't think a metal gear solid five would be on here right I think that's too that's not I don't associate that with Xbox that's just a yeah but I said that about PlayStation they were putting on games that I didn't associate with PlayStation I think we'll see a lot of those okay so like I do think you see a metal gear solid five on this I think that'd be crazy because

then it's like we're just putting every great that's right at that point it's like okay put Eldon Ring on there. That's my problem with you. You know, like, put everything on there. Let's focus on the Xbox titles and go from there. And so then another one I brought up Army of 2. Me and Nick just played through this. Army of 2 was a pretty special game back on that 360

era. When you're talking about like 360 bangers, Army of 2 was on there, right? A Max Payne is on there. A dead to rights is on there, right? Like, these are all hits in my old school Xbox play. Which Dead Rising is on there? Which Dead Rising? Yeah. You have to have Dead Rising one or two.

Don't you dare put Dead Rising 3. But I feel like that's where we start to get exclusive with it, right? Dead Rising 3 was that first exclusive one for Xbox 1. Yeah, but it was Xbox 1. It was Xbox 1. There's a giant open world in L.A. They added vehicles. Sunset Overdrive.

Oh, 100%. Yeah. That's like when you get into the Xbox 1 era. Like when I think Xbox 1 era, it will be Sunset Overdrive. Titanfall 1. Titanfall 1 is a certified Xbox banger. See, is that one where you just give it a Titanfall 2, though? Well, then we start saying it could be on anything.

I mean, if you're going to put fucking, you know, the games that you're talking about. I agree. You got to put the best Titanfall on there. It's a weird one because, yeah, Titanfall was the exclusive. Titanfall, too. Clearly the better one, though, the campaign, one of the best first-person shooter campaigns ever. I wonder how they hold that because, yeah, you hold it in such regards now when you look at it. But at the moment, right, everybody was caught up in the call of duty in battlefield and forgot about Titanfall 2 at that time, right?

So it's like, okay, now they're going to look back and go, hey, it was a great time at this one. back in the day it's like I wouldn't have put Titanfall 2 on this list because it got overshadowed by the other two I would have gone number one for sure some people put crackdown crackdown will be on this with how many which one crack down one and two I would put on this okay if I was doing strictly Xbox games crackdown one and two would probably make it I'm just going to say the name of games and you tell me yes or no right okay splinter cell chaos theory yes of course it has to be yeah has to be recor no but great pull thank you You know what?

It's a maybe. It's not on the list. There's too many good games. I think there's too many good games. Sometimes you get into the hundreds and you start getting into 80s, 80 to 100, and you start reaching for things, Blas. And that's when people start to, from the 80 to 100, it's when you start to burn yourself out on all the great Xbox games.

Yeah. You start to get a little bit of like the really great to good third party games. And then you want to get back to the first party games because you've gotten too many third party games and that's when you get weird and you're like, well, we got to go back. Like, how about Rise, Son of Rome? And people are like See, I was going to start. Great idea. Right idea with Ray's Son of Rome. So like

Rise and Recore, there's a chance that they're on this. Should Rise Son of Rome be on this top 100 Xbox games? Absolutely not. Yeah. Will it be? Probably. Halo Infinite. Come on. Yes. I mean, are we putting, is every Halo on this list? No. Four or five, not on this list. Okay.

ODST probably not. RELO reach. Yes. Reach one, two, three, infinite. That's five. You think infinite? Like, top 100 games? I mean, listen, infinite is my halo.

So I'm with you. I'd be fucking down. But I think there's so, because I think once you get out of that, it's like Halo Wars. Halo Wars is in this. Are you putting Master of Collection on you? Lord of the Rings battle for Middle Earth is in this.

I'm just saying like how many games can you put with the word halo when the title on the list? I mean, that's where people start. to get crazy. I mean, does every gears make the list? No. What gears doesn't make it? Which is the one with braid in the front of it?

Gears. It went one, two, three, Gears judgment. Gears judgment isn't on that. They're not making it. Four and five we could have a discussion about. You'd like to just keep it tight with like gears one through three. Okay.

these are like great Xbox arcade games those are going to be on it. The good Xbox arcade games, it's like you're like maybe, you know what I mean? Maybe. Project Gotham Racing. Yes. 100% you'll see a project awesome. Do we see Forgeysons? How many Forts or Horizons do we see? Do we just see the whole series? Do we get two through five?

No, no. I bet you get four and five max oh you got to put three on there you think so dude Australia is the issue I guess I'm just trying to limit myself on how many like you said

franchise tags I'm putting on because then it's like once you get out of that it's like okay well force motor sport has to be on there as well so how many of those are you putting on the thing motorsports on there Crimson's uh crimson skies yeah you can't make room for every game

you can't make this list you have to eventually say no I think any of the games that we're talking about where it's like oh it's okay. Yeah. I think, no, it's not gonna make the list. They're making the,

yeah, okay. I think, I think there are enough good games. Here's the deal. Crimson Sky came out at the OG Xbox.

It was an OG banger. It's a classic that has stood the test of time in the lineage of Xbox. It'll be on the list. Brate. There are games like that. Brade has to be on.

I mean, yes, that's a problem. That's an Xbox joint, right? Like, Brade is an Xbox. There are,

now that's the Xbox arcade game. Yeah. It's like, yeah, there are going to be a lot of those are we doing that with limbo as well is limbo in that conversation Taylor two brothers yeah brothers and tail of two sons yeah

what's the other one geometry wars that was a big one there's gonna be a lot weird like PlayStation if I here's my thing if it came to Xbox first then boom yes it's got to be in strong consideration but if it came to both at the same time I love this list I think it's tough with you it's so good time it's a good time yeah I mean guitar here

rock band guitar hero has to be on this list yeah guitar hero has to be on this list i'm trying to think of like some other titles like that there's so many games you haven't talked about we haven't talked about like morrow wind oblivion like i mean those are guaranteed some more superchats for you yel sing says do we know if they're prioritizing exclusives when we get to the list we'll see we'll read that first paragraph see what they talk about um christoph or christopher is saying over over on the 1.5 connect games. The greatest blast. Really? So much fun, bro. It was Fall Guys before Fall Guys. Okay. Yeah. Okay. That's fun. Was that 360? 360. Xbox 5 arcade took your avatar, put it in the all-time trials of obstacle courses, very modeled after American Ninja Warrior when that was kind of hitting its peak. They modeled it after a lot of those. And like, yeah, this was it. You would just literally do this

and then you just run. This is what I'll say. Here's the thing, I would never, I would never like take back the fact that I had. Like my, that era, I was PS3, right? PS3 was the console I had. I also had a Wii, I guess. I was using that Wii, let me tell you.

But if I could go back and replace by PS3 with the 360, like if a genie came to me and they're like, hey, you have the option, switch out, you know, you're going to have the 360. I might do it because there's something about the 360 library, the catalog that just feels a bit more like interesting. It's that if you could, in the multiplayer aspect to it too. You would want the 360 from launch to like the like 75 to 80 percent. I like that. And then you switch the PS3. Like that's kind of how my life when it's like I had the 360 from launch and then somewhere my Tahoe early years.

I remember I got the PS3 for the last of us, for the resistance for what's the... Uncharted 3 maybe? No, yeah, Uncharted 3, but what's the other shooter game? Kills Zone. For the kill zone. Try like, so I was lucky to like get those PlayStation games. And then by that point, it's like, oh yeah, I'm getting a PS4 with this Xbox

one. Like, I'm moving on to that. Yeah, I think that's a good call. Yeah, that's how you want to do that. If I can have the 360 for the first 80% and then switch over to the PlayStation 3 for the last 30 or last 20. I mean, like, you'll have a Ninja Guiden in this. Oh, yeah, for sure.

You'll have some fighting games in there. I don't know of Soul Calibur, though. Killer Instinct? Yes. Killer Instinct? Yes. Killer Instinct's on the list. In there. It's in there. I think we might see it today. We're getting into the top or into that bottom 25. 75 to 100.

Yeah, I think Killer Instinct's in there. I wouldn't be mad at that. More Super Chats for you. John Van Pelt says Mass Effect 3 was a Connect title. You gave the squad orders. Yes. There was a lot of games that had Connect. features in it.

A lot of sports titles as well would punish you if you cursed at it. I did a lot of cursing back then and they definitely would punish you for that. I thought that was so much fun. Do you remember in CTA 5 where if you're playing online you can like yell into the controller Rob one of the clerks at the story?

Yeah, Rob, I used to do that all the time. So dumb. There's a mic in here that says, what about Sunset Overdrive, which you mentioned, Burnout Paradise. Peggle. They say Peggle.

It's a great poll as well. Peggles, one of my favorites, like someone just wrote Ghost Recon, you have the Gras Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighters You have the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas that were fantastic back then. I love those games.

Another one that I love called Shadow Run which was an always online tied in with Windows XP game that had like crossplay with it but it was literally just like attacker defend capture the flag the best bless. This was a classic. I want to bring in this one from Red Misfit

pissing me off, all right? Okay. Oh. Roger Blessing was defending Phil Spencer. First of all, I think you mean we're defending Phil Spencer. We were defending Phil Spencer yesterday and I can't do it. He has to be held accountable for bad decisions he made for the company. He's a great ambassador for Xbox, but not the best CEO. And to Red Misfit, this is what I'll say.

Okay. Roger was defending Phil Spencer. Oh, I was, I just sat there. I didn't say shit. All right? Don't put that shit on me. Put that shit on Roger, all right? That's what I'll say.

let's do it take me in let's start with number 100 one versus 100 there you have it 80 through 100 there was is that a good 100 slot yeah i think that's a fun easy 100 slot i think that's a great way to engage the reader as well a classic a special one that xbox gamers hold near near their heart during that 360 time connecting so many players in the world together through a fun trivia game show. Awesome. Great one right now. Somebody in chat says, High Fire Rush,

High Fire Rush better be on this list. It will be. It better be on this list. Now, here's a fun one. You know how to capture the same feeling of one versus 100? The LA Clippers have that at their new arena. At your seat,

there are four buttons on every single seat inside the arena. And during timeouts or halftime, they play games where you actually do trivia and like best games. I love that. that shit. Really fun. At number 99, we have Conquer Live and Reloaded. Okay. Makes sense. That's a Mike ass game. We didn't say Conquer. Conquer, Conquer for sure. Hold up. Makes sense on this list. And Conquer Live and Reloaded added Xbox online to it. So they added their own

online game modes. Now, Conquer Bad Furdee back on by N64. The best mini games. I don't know if you ever played them. Oh, yeah. The best. They had so many unique and different mini games that traversed all the time that Conquer spent in the campaign from running around with raptors who would defend their nest and you had to get the raptor eggs as the cavemen and then putting in a frying pan there was a heist game we'd go out and rob banks that was so much fun like that multiplayer suite was so awesome

and then to go to Concord Live and Reloaded where they're like okay let's kind of like really focus in on this and they made it more of like a call of duty almost third person shooter yep thumbs up thumbs up for this that's a crazy kind of pull but I like it. It belongs on the list though, right? I mean,

our best Xbox games? At 99, it belongs on the list. Yeah. I think 99 is good for it. It's an 80 through 150. Okay. I could probably find a couple of games that might push this one out of the top 100.

Okay. But like, it's in there. It's in the back window. At 98, we got topspin. Topspin golf. Oh, no, top spin tennis. Of course. An all-time classic.

Hangar 13 tried to bring it back recently. Yeah. unfortunately didn't hit it. Tennis is such a great video game sport, sport turned into video game, because you know, you understand the sport, you see it,

you can play it, it's minimal, like buttons. Look back, go back to Pong, you know what I mean? Like, that's where the video game started.

Easy to learn, hard to master or whatever. Yeah. Infinite challenge to master, right? The problem is, is like, after a while,

it's tough to like make mini games to keep you engaged for a long period, that story or campaign, right? Eventually you hit a point where you're like, okay, I need more than just the tennis, but like, top spin, great pull on the list. Great pull. You know what? Great pull on the list.

And number 97, we got binary domain. I know this game from the cover art. I don't know this game. Yeah, this is what I know from seeing it on shelves at GameStop, but I never like really picked it up. Is it Contra? Does it look like Contra when you play it? Is it a 2D side scroller shoot a month? Right here they write, the 360 was a treasure chest full of those seven out of tens that you couldn't put down.

those rough around the edges, quote classics that kept us more than entertained for a weekend before we moved on to the next. Binary Domain is a perfect example of a third-person shooter from the Yakuza developer, Ryu Gakotoku Studio. I didn't know that. This sci-fi story didn't play out too differently from established cover shooters such as Gears of War

but came with its own unique perks. Oh. Yeah, direct control over your squad mates was chief among these with the ability to command them in six different languages via headset or the connect sensor. There you go, you got that connect functionality. a fun little gimmick that took advantage of Xbox's

ultimately doomed experiment with this camera peripheral. Binary domain may have never fully reached the heights of its lofty ambitions, but it still finds a place in our hearts. This is what I'll say. I appreciate games of this era that try to do the Barker commands via headset or via connect or whatever. I don't know if you ever played Tom Clancy's End War, but I had that. And I remember being in my room, just trying to be like a fucking military commander. I mean, a great pose, Battlefield 4,

when they had you on the iPad, right? You could be the commander of the battlefield and they literally put, you want an iPad and yeah, you can just start clicking away and like sending in extra stuff. That was a crazy time back then. When they were like, how do we just add more stuff onto this? I love it.

You know what? Here's a cool part about this list list that I will take away. It's like these are games that I'll try now. Out of this top 100, the games that I've missed that I don't know, I'll give them a try. That's good. So I'll add this to my list. I've never tried this.

And number 96, we have Steel Battalienable, We mentioned it. There it is. There it is. Yeah, yeah. At number 95, we got Odd World Strangers Raff. Interesting. Okay.

Stranger's Rath was, I believe, the first-person shooter one, right? It wasn't with Abe where it was the 2D trying to break out of the prison. This one, I think they added, I think it became a shooter. And you were like crossbowing people with the weird little odd things. It was pretty cute. Interesting. I don't know anything about this entry. But also, I'm just like not an odd world.

person. Oh, really? Yeah, Oddworld didn't really come into my, I guess, like, lexicon of games that I knew of until maybe PS4 era. OGPS1, right? I always talk about I had a short time frame with it. And I believe it was the Jurassic Park with the little monsters biting you right on the first level, Tomb Raider that me and mom called the hotline for all the time. And there was Odd World. And mom fucking figured it out. For a kid that couldn't get it done, mom like saw the Matrix and I think almost breathed through that video game for me. Wow.

It was crazy. I'll never forget that. That's really cool. My dad, my dad who hated video games, hated them because I was obsessed with them and I didn't get great grades. So you always played the video games.

He specifically was excellent at Arkenoid. We had Arkenoid on our like office computer in the house and me and my sisters would play Arkenoid all the time. And then my dad would come through and fucking dominate. That cool. I love that shit. You know what I love those moments. Number 94 is,

This one. Oh, wait. Oh, we didn't say this one. So, 95, I give a, I give a little handshake too. Yeah. Okay. I'll go play it and check it out. I fell off Oddward by this time, but I remember going like, oh, odd world and a first

person shooter, like, maybe I should try that. But like, this is one of those where I'm like, could we have found something different? But I bet you're like an Xbox exclusivity or something like that. Oh, yeah. Maybe pushed it. I'm going to give it a maybe. And number 94, Mike, you're going to kick yourself, Fusion frenzy. I knew, yeah.

94. I would put this a little bit lower on the list. Yeah, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. It's better than 90. Yeah.

Yeah. I mean, will we see brute force? Oh, that's a good question. Fusion frenzy on the list is a must have. Fusion frenzy at 94. Here's what I'll say. Fusion frenzy not good if you jump into it right now, though.

Here's the one I'll say. I didn't think it was good when I jumped into it as a kid. My friend Stephen O'Hini and his family, they had a fucking Xbox, which is where I played Dead or Alive 3 for the first time. Which Dead or Alive, you said a fighting game. How about Beach Volleyball?

I never played Beach Volleyball. I remember, I think that was when I saw a G4 and I was like, damn, I want that game. I was a freaky little kid, let me tell you. But I saw, I saw, or I played Dead or Alive three, which I think a Dead or Life should be here.

But we played Fusion Frenzy after that. And when I tell you, I fucking hated this game, man. I fucking did not like Fusion Frenzy. And so I think it's iconic. enough for it has to be in that list. Little Kid Me is happy with this.

Fusion Frenzy will always be on the Xbox Top 100 list. 94. Okay, I would have gone a little bit lower or higher, but I like that. Let's do it. At 93, we have Lost Planet Extreme Condition. I just played this game too. Yeah, you did. I always wanted to play

Lost Planet. Lost Planet looked like the coolest, right? Coming off of Starship Troopers the game, never really finding a game that was like Starship Troopers, the movie I mean, and being like, I want that. And then seeing Lost Planet and they had like the weird kind of looking Storm or Starship Troopers monsters, it's like I wanted that. And then I played that and I was like, you know what?

We're good on that. Yeah. We're like, we're good on that. Lost Planet 2 was the one that got me in. I remember this was before I even had a PS3. And so my friend Anthony was house sitting and we went over. He was like, oh, they got a PS3 come through. And then he put in Lost Planet 2.

We played the entire day. Such a fun co-opics. That was like my first third person co-op game from like that era of games. Oh, I fucking love. Chat, let me know. Lost Planet, I always think of Dead Space, Bless. Uh-huh. Did they come out near each other?

Because, like, I remember thinking to myself, like, I was playing Dead Space, and I remember looking at Lost Planet, but I don't remember how close they were. I mean, they're same era, same. I think they're probably around the same time. A couple, okay. But I think that's the only thing that really links them. Dead Space will always be my Lost Planet. They're like very different games.

I know, but like, I guess when you were a kid. kid and you're looking at covers and you're thinking like shooting monster. Somebody in chat says they had a crossover thing. Oh yeah. Which is crazy. I never would. If you're in a name,

if this is a game showdown game and you're like, which of these games had a crossover never would have said loss plate in dead space. At number 92, we have Banger Cazooey nuts and bolts. I don't like it being nuts and bolts. I mean, yeah, the question.

Unless. Is that, well, that's the 361. Unless rare replays on the list. Just put the entirety of rare replays as one entry. I mean, yeah, it has to be. the list. Then I'm okay with this. Fantastic game.

I mean, Ray Replay is fan. But like, it's a weird one because that's 30 games. That's all right though. I mean, well then we get to him.

If Tim Geddes was here, he'd be mad at that. Halo Master Chief Collection. That's tough. Okay. It's tough. That's a tough one. I think yes, though.

I'd be okay of Master Chief Collection. You'd have to tell me about nuts and bolts, though. Oh, I never played. Oh, actually, I played a little bit of it, but it wasn't my jam. Okay. It's basically like, imagine of Banja Zui

still, imagine of Banja Kizui had an art style that looked almost too good, but then the gameplay was not Banj Kuzui. You're putting together vehicles and driving vehicles. Yeah, I remember. Oh, yeah. It was not what I wanted out of Banja Zahiswis, what I'll say. But, like, you boot this game up today, still looks really good.

Okay. Art style is fucking weird, but I still fuck with it. I am surprised 92 with Banjo-Kazooey nuts and bolts. Yeah. I would have expected this to miss the list. Yes. At number 91, we have condemned criminal. origins. We talked about it. We knew

it was going to be on the list. Yeah, that one and what's the one I recently played from Rockstar Manhunt, right? Yeah, manhunt. Yeah, those were some freaky games during this time period. Super freaky. Some real dark stuff. And condemned got a couple. I think they got condemned two and a VR title, if I'm not

if I'm not mistaken. I think they went kind of the distance with this one. At number 90, we have Castle Crashers. All time. Got to be on there. I would I mean, this is probably a top 50 game, if we're being honest with you. Yeah, I can see that. Maybe because it is

third party can be anywhere. It gets a little bit pushed, but like, that's probably a top 50, if not a top 30, all-time classic Xbox game with how powerful it was on the Xbox 360 arcade, what it did. That might be a, that should probably be higher. At number 89, we have Mecca Salt. There you go. There you go. You pulled that. That out, mecassault. Okay. I mean, well, Katz, Casuals, Cats,

Crasher is above Mexico. Yeah, Castle Crash is the first like, oh, I don't, yeah, that seems like it should be higher. At number 88 we got Peter Jackson's King Kong. An OG Xbox 360 title. I think I played a little bit of this one. I don't

remember it. I just remember it being this is one of the launch titles, the Xbox 360, and people liked it a lot. I don't remember at all. Funny enough, I've been hearing more and more about Peter Jackson's King Kong video game lately, yes. There was a video that came up on one of my feeds where they were talking about

how underrated this game is. Me and Tim were doing another shit list recently where it appeared like top 10, I think best licensed games or best movie games and this was on the list as well. And it's good. People say this game is great. You know what? Add this to the list with binary domain?

Yeah. I'll play that. I think that'd be a good one. I don't, yeah, no way. I don't remember that. Okay. And number 87, we have Full Spectrum Warrior. Do you know this one? Interesting. I know the cover art for this one. I never played full Spectrum Warrior. Did I play Full Spectrum Warrior? Was this like a Call of Duty competitor?

I mean, I would assume it was, yeah. Fuller famously started out, not as for public consumption video game, but as a training tool for the U.S. Army. Jesus. It's a real-time... Oh, never mind. It's a real-time tactics game. I'm thinking of a different game. Interesting. I'd never, I've never even heard of this one. No, I only know the cover art to this one. All right. like, this is the X-Bot. Maybe is there a virtual fighter that's like a very Xbox-associated one? What about Soul Calibur when they all gave them special characters? Each one, each console got a special character. But like, I feel like the Xbox special characters sucked. Was it Yoda, right? Yoda and Spawn. Spawn for Soul-Colibre

2. Spawn. And then, yeah, Yoda for so-caller. Then the other one got Darth Vader. Yeah. And then the other one got Link, right? Or Zelda. Well, for SoulCol-Li, yeah. Yeah.

I don't know. Okay. More Dead or Alive? I don't know. See, three would have been the choice. I don't think I've ever played a Dead or Alive game. Dead or Live is pretty sick. Okay.

I mean, it looks a lot like Tekken just because it's another 3D fighter. But I feel like Dead or Alive, Dead or Live, Deer-R-Live 3 had a tag team mechanic, just like Tech and Tag. Okay. But Deader Live 3 felt a bit more. more dynamic. Like when you're switching people out like fucking doing combos in the middle of it, hit somebody out of window, jump after them.

Like, General Light 3 had some flair to it that I really fucked with. Maybe you get Beach Volleyball. I think we might give Beach Volleyball. We're not going to give Beach Volleyball. At number 85, we got Perfect Dark Zero. I love that. I mean,

here's the issue. I love Perfect Dark Zero. I think there are some people who like Perfect Dark Zero. I don't know if Perfect Dark Zero, came out in the best state and was the best game. I think it's just like we hold tight to it because it was the return of Perfect Dark and Joanna Dark had a multiplayer early in the Xbox 360 era with the craze of online gaming like, but I don't know many people who are like, Mike, Perfect Dark is an all-timer.

I think this is saying that. I think this is absolutely nuts. Perfect Dark Zero shouldn't be above Castle Crashers. Yeah, I don't. Okay. Let's start there. Like, that's where we start. Yeah.

Because any game now you have to look at Castle Crashers as the bar. Is this game better than Castle Crashers? Perfect Dark Zero? I'm saying no. No. I can say that. I did play a little bit of Perfect Dark Zero because it's in Rare Replay. Yes. I respect the poll because I was one of those kids that was playing nonstop Perfect Dark Zero multiplayer back in the day. I hold it near and dear my heart, but you can go back to Xcast episodes. When they announced Perfect Dark, I said, who the hell's this for? Yeah. Ain't nobody care about this franchise like that. And it's crazy. So maybe, I don't know about that one. I feel like it could have been off the, stayed off the

list. That's where I'm... If it's not on the list, we wouldn't have said anything. I think it's on the list because maybe it's the only perfect dark. Maybe they don't have the original perfect dark. Well, yeah, no. Like, rare replay. I don't know. It's a tough one. At number 84, we have Panzer Dragoon order. I've heard good things about this one. Yeah, I never played a Panzer Dragoon. Is that similar? It's like a flying, like a jet like it? On rail shooter type thing. Yeah, I never played any of these, no. and number 83

we have Rayman Legends is this a did this come to Xbox first that's surprising to me I man I don't think of Rayman with my Xbox stuff I played Rayman on the what PS1 way back in the day

Yeah, I don't love this one. Uh-huh. I don't love that one. It's a great game though. Like, people love this game but it's just an interesting pick. And number 82. I'm not steam. We have Tom Cleansy's Rainbow Six Vegas. This shit was lit back in the day.

Oh, of course. Oh, my God. Vegas and Vegas, too, were some of the best online multiplayer experiences around. And also the little campaign stuff. But being able to, like, back up and be in cover third person, see all around you,

going full tactile, and then like the building blocks for what siege is now. It's like, man, it's crazy. I was playing that way back in the day. And then to be able to play seeds, it's like just like that is awesome. Yeah. But a lot more cover-based.

Seeds you don't really take cover like that. No, but like it's still like the tactical thing, right? I think that's the thing that it maintains. I never played Rainbow Six Vegas and I feel bad about that. Oh, you would have loved it. I would have loved this game. I just never had it or I didn't I never had friends that talked about Rainbow Six

Vegas like that. I didn't, I don't think I realized how big this was until like I read the internet more, you know? It's an all-timer. That's an all-timer. That's cool. And number 81, we have Brothers, A Tale of Two Sons. You mentioned it, Mike. Xbox 360 arcade.

This is when you're going to see a lot of big ones. Brothers is... Hazelight. Hazelight. Joseph Ferris, right? Joseph Ferris, yeah. That's crazy. I mean, what a... What a cat...

kind of Feudy that we can't make yet. Because we made a good point about a game that should be a, like, the next Hayslight game. Oh. But I forget if we said it on, whatever, we'll fucking ruin it. Because somebody, somebody somewhere, you might hear this in like six weeks again on Kind of Feudy. We'll see. But somebody said that rush hour would, should be Hayslight's next game. I think it was Andy said that.

You and Andy. And everybody was like, yo, that's such a good idea. They're going to be mad that I ruined Kind of Beauty. But like, that was such a good poll. and I was like, fuck, that's such a good idea. I mean, you have the building blocks with, what was the get out? A way out. A way out.

A way out, yeah. Boom. There we go. Sorry, I spoiled kind of few guys. At number 80, we got Titanfall one. I think you're going to see Titanfall too. Oh, banger. Yeah.

This was everything on the Xbox one, especially, I believe this was like close to early in the generation's launch. This kind of carried the Xbox one for a while before we really started going like, oh, this is doomed type shit. You know what I mean? Like, I'll never forget driving down in the snow over black ice on the mountain pass to drive down at midnight to get this

to get the giant box because I still had the collector's edition. Still to the day it's in my background. And like, this was the coolest gaming experience ever. I didn't need a campaign. Just put on online multiplayer bouncing off the walls, jet packing, going invisible, shooting NPCs and also real players.

That was a cool blend. They did a great job with this. When, I don't know if you remember when, I'm going to pull in a deep reference here, right? In the early 2010s, there was a mixtape that came out that was called Friday Night Lights by Jay Cole. And when it dropped, everybody stopped what they're doing and they were like, oh, this motherfucker is the savior. Like this motherfucker's the savior of rap. Jay Cole's up next. Like everything revolved around, oh, this guy's fucking up next. When Titanfall was revealed and was coming out, Titanfall felt the way that Jay Cole felt when he dropped Friday night lights. Like, there's going to be a certain percentage of people in chat to understand the feeling that I'm

talking about. But it, like, I almost didn't understand it because, like, I didn't have the Xbox one or whatever. So it's like, I'm not going to play this thing. But everybody online was so locked in. Everybody was like, oh, Titanfall, stop everything. This is the fucking game right now. Like, Titanfall captured an energy, unlike anything I remember. Like, for a new multiplayer first person, shooter. It felt crazy. 2014, March of 2014, the console launch November 22nd, 2013.

So this was like a launch window type stuff here. Yeah. Right around the corner. Like I said, this brought a lot of hype to the Xbox one. And I was doing the Jerry O'Connell. I got B. Like, I would literally just run to B because it was always three points. And I would just literally crouch and sit at B all day long.

It was so much fun. Yeah. And then called in your Titan back then. Oh. That was prepare for Titanfall. And that was the coolest shit around. Cool. The coolest shit. God. We've been chasing this high ever since.

The fact that Tynefall isn't like a mainstay. I know. The fact that we're still not talking about like, oh yeah, I'm playing the next Titanfall. Like the fact that Titanfall isn't annualized, I know that'd be a bad thing. But like it should be around. I can't believe it's not like the current call of duty, you know, number one video game every single year. All time great. It's an all time great.

And number 79, we got the Outer Worlds too. Wow. Okay. Interesting. Now I have fallen off the obsidian RPGs. I've said that before that I've fallen in love

with their grounded game but I have not played avowed outer worlds two I didn't really love Outer Worlds One and so that's kind of where it stopped me right and so I don't know

I mean I love Titanfall but I think Titanfall too is gonna be higher than Above Castle Crashers That depends on you ask I think I'm not mad at it But like I am a little bit surprised

I loved Outer Worlds 1 I really didn't love Outer Worlds 2 I fell off of it but I don't I'm not been able to locate why You know what I mean? Like I just didn't resonate this time around But I think I could see them in the back room Talking about it right

And being like well out of and Outerworlds Has to be on this list or an obsidian RPG Or whatever has to be on this list And they probably weighed Outer Worlds 1 and 2 And it's Outer Worlds 2 I mean if we were like you said If we were in the room Let's just put ourselves last month

Yeah Right, we're going, Mike, give me the past 20 games that they dropped. Outer Worlds 2 is on that. So now it's in the conversation. Yeah. So okay. I think Outer Worlds, it captures the last decade of Obsidian RPGs, I think. So do we get a Vowed?

No. Avowal's not above Outer Worlds, too. You're not going to put it above. You're not, I think this is, I don't think we get Outer Worlds one. I don't think we get avowed. I think we get Knights of the Old Republic. Okay. How about Pentiment?

I'm trying to get like, reaching obsidian games. That's a good call out. Outer Worlds 2 right now is 79. We're trying to make the ultimate Xbox top 100. I think you get Pentamint. And I go through Obsidian's games. Pentamintment. Grounded. Grounded 2.

Let's put Grounded 2 as no. You get a grounded. It's super early. Sure, sure. But like grounded one and pentamint, are they making it? Both, yes. I think you get both those games. Okay.

And I'm sure there's some other, like, there might be other obsidian games that I just don't know of. Well, like New Vegas. I mean, yeah, right? New Vegas is up. Obscenin is going to have a big presence on this list. Okay. Okay.

And number 78, we got Keeper. Listen, I'm shocked. I love, I love Keeper. That's kind of crazy. I love that. I think this is where we get kind of, we're getting heavy on the Xbox. Yeah.

First party. Xbox owned Keeper. Great game. 78? I ride or die. Top 100 Xbox games of all time? This is one of those ones where I would have been in the room and I would have been lobbying for this,

but I would have given up so quickly. I would have been like nobody else thinks this though. Like, I think 78, yeah, but I'm not going to convince you all, so put it at number 99. If we were going to keep it and go very minimal third party and really focus, like they said on those first two paragraphs, then Keeper might be on the list.

I mean, published by Xbox. It's an 80 to 150. Yeah. For sure. Like, it's in a conversation. Yeah. Wow. Keeper.

That's crazy. That's awesome. I love that. That's crazy. A video game that Lee Petty thought about during COVID while on a hike about a game where it's like, you're just walking. And it's okay. Listen, somebody at IGN or outside Xbox feels the way I feel about Keeper and I fuck with that. Hey, whoever it was, I fuck with you.

I love that. Okay. At number 77, you got Jade Empire. Jade Empire. Hey, that's our goat. That's our goat. That is our goat right there. Yep, yep, yep, yep.

Purchased already one day. And then we close this out with number two. 76, Gears 5. Wow. How does that make you feel, Mike? Gears 5. Gears 5 is a mixed bag of emotions for me. Gears 5 did so much.

Gears 5 really pushed the graphics and world design of gears. They tried to do these things with like larger open areas, similar to like a Tomb Raider that you saw, right? It's not open world, but it's open area. And you're going to run all around and you're going to explore a little bit more. maybe you'll do like a side quest or like a side objective type thing and then you'll get back on top back on track the other thing was is it's kate diaz's story kate and marcus's little twin nephew or whoever the hell that guy is i forget is by now they just didn't have the pop like the oh geez

and now it's always going to be the problem coming off of gears one through three and all the gears and the the original just like that had an insane core cast that everybody fell in love with gears four and five, I think it's like, I'm not in love with this cast right now. And then it did end on an extreme cliffhanger. And it's crazy that we're going to Gears E-Day when it's like, Gears 5 ends and you're like, let's get to it then. Yeah. That means Gears 4 not on this list on.

Gears 5 to make the list for what it did gameplay wise, graphic-wise, I'm in for. Gears 4, not on the list. Okay. Wow. No, no, like, you think it's that definitive? I, here's four will not make it above gears five. Gears four is not on the list. Okay.

What other are, do we see gears one, two, and three? Yes. Okay. All right. Judgment, I don't know. High busters, clearly, probably not. High busters might be on my list, though. High busters might make my top 100 Xbox team.
