Klein/Ally Show: The Podcast - Frenulums Are Gay! (FULL SHOW 9.18)
Episode Date: September 18, 2026Chicken Cam was live all show long when the people from Tender Fest dropped off a crapload of chicken tenders. Vanessa went to town first, wearing protective gloves, taking down 3 tenders before Jake ...and Johnny took over. Since it's Friday we brought out the Box of Shame and discovered (shocker) that Ally did something unsavory in an antique shop after breaking one of the items. We also learned Klein's dog is taking on the habit of eating his own crap, which Klein is now troubleshooting by adding meat tenderiser to his food, which will make his crap smell so horrendous he won't want to eat it. Is that even worse? Johnny Doesn't Know brought all body-related questions to Johnny today, and he's pretty sure the frenulum is a part of the boob. Plus an unexpected, very emotional phone call from the brother of Eliana Moreno, the helicopter reporter who was tragically killed in Chatsworth earlier this week.

We'll get into an episode of Klein Alley Show in just a moment, but in the meantime,
let's tell you about our absolute favorite place on the planet.
Yep, that would be San Bernardino International Airport, where you can go through the airport
process without waiting in long lines and overpaying for parking.
Quick connections to the Bay Area and the world, plus ski and snowboard in Provo
from San Bernardino all winter long.
Every other airport, you're going to be in long TSA lines, you're going to be miserable,
you're going to say, oh, I got to get there two, three hours before my flight.
Not at San Bernardino International Airport.
And now we send you on a direct flight into our podcast, which starts right now.
The show started.
The show started.
We are live in Los Angeles.
Three, two, one.
And here we go.
Everyone who listens to our show is some, you know, Hills Have Eyes person.
She's a naughty girl, naughty.
In my brain, I want to punch everyone.
It's not about that Monday, Tuesday.
No one cares about Wednesday.
Thursday.
I like it.
Thank you, lady.

The Sonic Pulse of Los Angeles.
This is the world famous K-Rock.
Thank God it's Friday!
Hell yeah.
Good morning.
Welcome to your K-Rock on a Friday morning.
We are Klein Alley Show.
Nice to meet you.
Thanks for coming back for more.
You can tell by the hat on my head.
I'm a huge Baltimore Ravens fan.
Force Fandom.
Week two, NFL action.
Yay, team.
Go Birds or Red Bank.
Well, I had to get, I had an original.
Get a beanie.
Well, I had a beanie that was a Ravens beanie.
Like authentic that I had an actual, you know, the Ravens logo on it.
But because of this whole no spend September crap, I've now sent that back and I've got
myself a cheaper hat, which doesn't have anything official from the team.
It's not a licensed piece of merch I'm wearing.
It just basically says Baltimore on it.
Yeah, which I.
That doesn't count.
I don't think this counts.
What are you talking about?
Because it's not a Ravens hat.
It's a Baltimore hat.
It's a Baltimore football hat.
Football and crab cakes.
That's what Maryland does, baby.
Woo.
Now, you're doing some kind of a workaround here.
Yeah, that's right.
It's not a workaround.
Go Ravens.
It is.
It doesn't say Ravens anywhere.
It's not a fan.
A fan wouldn't do that.
I have a mouse pad the size of a small vehicle in front of me right now.
It's a mouse pad the size of Arizona.
It says Arizona Cardinals.
Yeah, but that hides on your desk.
No one's going to see that.
I walked around.
I'm already getting people that are stopping me and going like, yeah, Baltimore.
Excuse me, more people see this because of our live stream than see me out in the real world with a Cardinals hat on.
Anyway, we're all rooting for teams that we didn't really care about a couple weeks ago.
But here we are entering another weekend of NFL action, so we'll see how our teams should potentially do during this force fandom.
I know Omar's super excited because...
Oh, hell yeah, man.
I got my fire outside sending smoke signals, the whole thing.
For the Washington Commanders.
Redskins, baby.
He's a Commanders fan.
No skins.
Omar thinks he's been grandfathered into the original name.
It is funny that that huge change happened, but then everyone's still rooting for the Chiefs going, oh, I guess we're just going to stick with that.
Just pull the clip of Allie doing that chant, please.
So we can play that a lot.
Lots to get to this morning on the show for you.
We'll get you into Tenderfest tomorrow if you want to eat unlimited chicken tenders.
More importantly, we get you into the next four shows happening here at KROQ in the In-N-Out Burger sound space.
So lots of food in your future and lots of bands as well.
That's all coming up later this morning.
Plus, is this the lie day Friday day today, or is that next week, Vanessa?
I can't keep track of the lie day guy.
That's going to be next week.
Next Friday, lie detector back in the KROQ studios for another lie day Friday.
Who's on the hot seat?
I don't know if we figured out who's up next.
Someone's got to be up.
I was thinking it may be a good opportunity to get Ali's wife in here for the hot seat.
Has Vanessa ever done it?
Yeah, Vanessa did it.
Oh, she has.
That's when she told us the great story about the chef.
Oh.
Because she only agreed.
Yeah, Vanessa only agreed to do the lie detector when her mom was out of town because her mom listens to the show.
That's when we heard the not true car sex story, right, Vanessa?
I don't know what you're talking about.
Yeah, well, it was a lie, so it didn't really happen.
I'm glad you mentioned Sex Alley because wouldn't you know it, we posted a video on our Instagram
about a 39-year-old lady virgin that wants to lose her virginity before she turns 40.
Yes, but I have a question about how we post these clips.
Why are you saying that?
Because the screenshot that everyone is looking at makes it look like that person is me.
Really?
Yes.
It looks like I'm a 39-year-old virgin.
It does have Ali's face making a stupid reaction, and it says underneath it, 39.
She's a 39-year-old virgin, and I'm like, eh.
And then there was another clip a couple weeks ago with a woman who made out with her brother,
and again, looks like it was me.
So I just look like this weirdo who's never had sex with anyone but made out with my brother.
Yeah, the only person you've had sex with is your brother.
But other than that, you're a 39-year-old virgin.
Yeah, the thumbnails are pretty funny on the Instagram
because it is Allie's face making those weird,
she's always hamming it up for the camera.
So we're doing this on purpose?
She's making these weird reactions,
and then it just says underneath,
she had sex with her brother, and it's Allie's face.
And I'm like, hey, sorry.
And the one up there now,
the one up there now, it's Allie, and it goes,
is she up there, look at this loser 39-year-old virgin.
And it's Allie once again going, yep.
But anyway, a lot of people have reached out that would like to help this woman, shockingly, Allie.
Yeah, hi.
I heard your post with the 39-year-old female virgin, and I was listening to it, and I'm intrigued.
Shocker.
Oh, wow.
Who's not intrigued?
That's a man.
The goat line exploded.
Yeah, the goat line has never been full before.
It's completely full.
Oh, hi.
I'm inquiring about the virgin lady.
They're all intrigued.
And I'm intrigued.
So if you want to set up a date, I would be very interested.
Okay.
And it's not just for the sex aspect.
It's also for the sex aspect.
What else could it possibly be, sir?
It's also for her ta-tas.
I like the fact that she's religious, and she actually values her body.
So let me know if that's something you'd be interested in.
So I can ravage it.
I'd like to get to know her, and we could see what happens.
All right, great.
I think we'll know what would happen.
Yeah, okay, got it.
I'm sure you're not interested in the sex part.
I'm going to get religious all over you.
Anyway, I could play a thousand calls that are pretty much that exact same message.
I'm not just calling for the sex part of it.
I think you'll be taking the Lord's name in vain when you actually hook up with us.
We will get into everything we have in store for you this morning.
It's going to be a good day.
We've got a $500 Friday to look forward to in mere moments.
So be ready to call and play and everything else for you.
It's Friday on KROQ.
Who's house?
Rob's house.
It's KROQ.
We're Klein Alley Show.
Rob's house.
Who's Rob?
I try to sound like a boy every time.
us boys watch football and girls
but boys really love it
we know you have the most testosterone on the show
highest T4 on the show
and take a listen to this
if you need a reason to get excited
and you don't want to wait around for more football
you can win money from us right now
Clyde, Allie
you know what time it is
you know what day it is
it's $500 Friday
$500
so let's find a way
to take
$500 bill
from that fat lesbian
and make her angry.
So if you want to take $500 from that
quote, fat lesbian and make her angry.
Me angry.
Call now and answer some questions
about the news. And I know there's
always controversy. And earlier this week
we had a winner. I think yesterday, actually, you lost
and you had to pay someone. Yes, and a bunch of people
again said that I shouldn't have lost.
She was cheating. There's so much controversy
about yesterday's round. Hey, sweet divots
y'all. Long time vlogger here.
So, I'm just catching up on today's episode, and hell yes, Allie lost.
This is great, but what's crazy is, come on, guys,
you can't be calling shenanigans on the players
when you guys pull your own shenanigans all the time.
Also, tell Jake to shut up.
Whose side is he on?
Don't you want the people to win?
Come on, now.
We know there was no shenanigans on their end.
Everything they did was by the book, completely on the up and up.
Y'all have a great one.
Take it easy.
All right, thanks for the calls.
Thanks for the feedback.
If you'd like Allie's money, call now, claim it.
It's a $500 Friday, and we'd love to pay the people, and it's Allie's money.
And it's no spend September, so I will be doing extra research,
especially because I've been on a bit of a losing streak.
So call now, play next, and win $800-520-1067.
That's after this on KROQ.
Lots to give you this morning.
Chicken tenders, access to the KROQ in and out of Berger Soundspace.
four times and $500
of Ali's money.
Plus, we overshare things happening in our lives
as well that usually we regret after we say it.
We should probably start thinking before we speak,
which is funny because...
That is like probably the number one thing
I think I was told my entire life
is that he needs to think before he speaks.
And I realize that I'm not good at thinking.
I'm not really good at speaking either.
But I'm definitely not good at thinking before I speak.
After the fact, I realized that was stupid.
I shouldn't have said all that.
Or sometimes you double down and say,
Yep, I stand by what I've said.
That was stupid the first time, and I'm going to say it again.
But there's not a lot of thinking before we speak that goes on here,
which usually works out in your favor.
Not good for us, though.
Definitely not good for our personal relationships.
Especially when somebody tells us something that we talked about today on the show,
and I'm like, God, really?
We said that?
That's so embarrassing.
Yep.
If we could go back, we would redo the show very differently every day.
Yeah, let's start cutting a lot of stuff out of the show before we put it on the podcast, Jake.
I feel like after the fact, I sometimes regret most of the things we talk about on the air.
It'd be down to, like, a one-minute podcast.
Great.
There'd be, like, nothing there.
That's great.
You know how you can AI polish your emails?
Do that, but with our show.
Yeah, polish it up and get rid of all the stupid things we say.
And let's see how long it would be.
We'd be the first thing that AI couldn't polish.
They couldn't.
Unpolishable.
I cannot polish a turd.
We save society.
Hey, Francisco in Long Beach, good morning, and welcome to KROQ.
Hi.
Good morning.
Sweet divots, my people.
Sweet divots.
Hopefully you are $500 richer at the end of this little experiment,
Known as Allie Knows the News, or does she?
She's going to leave the KROQ studios.
No cheating.
Answer these questions quickly, confidently, and accurately
the second Allie gets the hell out of here,
which is taking her longer these days
because she's all winded and pregnant and all.
You get a chance to go.
So here we go.
Allie Knows the News.
Which professional baseball team is the National League West champs?
the los angeles dodgers you got a question number two
costco is bringing back a fan favorite menu item to their food courts and although they have not
officially announced what that fan favorite menu item is just yet people have it whittled
down to two options what are both of those options i'm gonna have to say a chicken bake
or individual pizza?
Go to question number three right now.
This singer is officially now
only the second man
to get his own Ken doll
in the history of Ken dolls.
Which singer is going to have
his own Ken doll?
Which male singer
is getting his own Ken doll?
I'm going to have to go with Prince.
Prince.
We go to question number four.
Capri Sun is making the news.
Move over, Apple,
and you're flipping phone,
they've got a brand new product
that they're unveiling.
What is the new Capri Sun product
that is being unveiled?
Like everyone's going with handbags.
I'm going to go with like a designer handbag.
A designer handbag,
just in time for Fashion Week.
And we go to this final question.
Question number five.
What grade did Mayor Karen Bass
give herself on homelessness?
This is the grade she gave herself.
Well, she's full of herself,
so I'm assuming it's going to be kind of a high grade, so B+.
B+, all right.
Let's bring in Allie.
We'll see how you did.
I know you got a few right.
Was it enough for you to get $500 of Allie's money?
Oh, God, I hope so.
Even though it'll cost me breakfast, it's still kind of worth it
because I always root for the player here.
Nothing fun about losing.
That's the thing I learned about those game shows on TV, like Price is Right.
People like to watch winners.
They don't like to watch losers.
And to say you got all the way on to the Price is Right, you were told to come on down.
And then you failed, or you stayed on contestant's row the whole time.
And that's why they try to find winners on that show.
Here, we've been accused of trying to find losers, but I like Francisco.
I like the cut of his jib.
So here we go.
Question number one.
Allie, which baseball team is the National League West champion?
The Dodgers.
You're not happy about that?
It's the Dodgers.
It is the Dodgers.
Are you going to the game tonight?
I'm going to the game tonight.
I'm going to mush them good.
Well, you're not.
because you're probably going to wear your Giants jersey, right?
I'm going to wear my Los Sloggers t-shirt.
Oh, well, you're going to mush us good then.
Yeah.
All right, that is a correct answer.
Both of you get the point, and congratulations, Dodgers,
as we go to question number two.
Costco is bringing back a fan favorite to their food courts,
and they have not officially announced what that fan favorite will be just yet,
but there's rumors that it will be one of two possible items.
Name the two possible items that everyone thinks it will be.
I don't know if these went away, though, really.
Is it churros?
Okay, what is your other guess?
Oh, I have to guess two different things?
I don't know.
Onion rings?
I really don't know what they have.
That's a terrible guess.
Churros did go away in 2024, and there's a big contingent that believes churros will be coming back for a limited time.
So I'm right.
You're right.
He also, well, you're half right.
He also said the pizza, and one of the pizza combos went away for a while, too.
He said pizza.
Right.
They haven't taken away pizza.
Individual pizza.
They did take that away.
And people are...
He didn't say individual pizza.
That's what he said.
That's exactly what he said.
You guys both get the point.
Do not fight the people.
The people will always have the power.
Remember that.
You'll always find a way for me to lose.
But, hey, listen.
You guys are tied up.
Another point for Francisco.
No.
I agree.
Did someone say Francisco?
We go...
You're the official copy of the Kwan-Ali show.
Well, then you're the winner always.
Thanks, Allie.
That's some good product placement right there.
Nice and smooth.
Oh, that's good.
That was some smooth product placement.
The only thing smoother is Don Francisco's coffee.
That's right, Clyde.
All right, we've got a question number three, and it's tied up now, 2-2.
This singer is now only the second man in history to get his own Ken doll.
I believe that would be Lenny Kravitz.
Wow, what a guess.
He said Prince.
I am surprised, but the correct answer is Lenny Kravitz.
That's a big story, and Lenny Kravitz says he thinks it's cool that they've chosen him.
Well, what is he going to say?
Well, I mean, look at him.
Well, it's stupid.
I don't care.
That would have been cool if he was like, oh, man, that sucks.
It's gay.
We got a question number four.
Allie's up one now with two questions left.
Move over, Apple.
They've made a lot of big announcements, but this time it's Capri Sun's turn.
They have made a major big announcement about a new product they're bringing to the market.
What is Capri Sun doing next?
That would be a giant Capri Sun bag that is three times bigger than the original.
So he said Capri Sun purse as well in the world of fashion.
No, no, no, no.
It's a giant.
This is a triple the size Capri Sun pouch that they're calling Allie sized.
And they're saying that it is, no, they're calling it the big pouch, which is also what we call Allie behind her back.
But the big pouch, which is three times bigger than a standard Capri Sun.
So, Allie, you do get the point again.
And he did say Capri Sun bags, so I'm going to give it to him, too.
Oh, stop it.
He said a purse, you said.
It's not a purse.
It's a drinkable pouch.
For men, all things that look like bags are purses.
We don't know the difference.
Excuse me.
Listen to this pouch.
I'm right.
Shut up, big pouch.
And we go to this final question.
Allie's still up one.
What grade did Karen Bass give herself on homelessness?
She gave herself a grade.
What grade was it?
She gave herself a B+.
He said B+, as well.
I can't believe you guys.
I don't know if you knew that he guessed, but that is the correct answer.
He guessed B+.
He said B+, so that is the correct answer.
She gave herself a B+, which is so funny.
I mean, you really are grading on a curve there.
I mean, that's a real roundup there.
That's the grade you change to when you are fudging your grades.
I would change D's to B minuses because I thought B pluses would be too unbelievable.
Even to be honest, I thought that B's would be unbelievable in my house.
So I would go B minus and that one I could kind of slide through.
My parents would be like, wow, you overachieved.
Good for you.
When you're deciding what grade to give yourself, you go for like something in the B's.
Right.
But like a B plus.
But you're upgrading yourself.
But I had to do the minus because I knew that the D looked too much like a D,
that I had to have the line from the B carry in to the minus.
And then my dad was like, all right.
So he squeaked by a little above C.
But like Karen Bass, she must have turned a D into a B plus.
I mean, I'm just saying, maybe she thought it was like,
how many homeless are there?
Like, oh my God.
She's winning that.
Yeah, so many.
Yeah, they're everywhere.
I'm a B plus on homelessness in general,
but the amount of people.
Well, Francisco, it was nice meeting you.
Sadly, at the end of it all,
Allie did hold on to her money for another week,
Which sucks for us
But anyway
What must you shamefully admit
Over the airways of K-Rock
Go ahead
I hate to admit
That Allie knows the news
Congratulations Francisco
On your delicious coffee
Don Francisco's
The official coffee
Of Klein Allie's show
That's why we're so awake
And full of energy
People say how you guys
Get so funny in the morning
I can't have my news without it
We will get into more show
After Lincoln Park
I'm K-Rock Q. Good morning.
Thank you, Linkin Park. We're Klein Alley Show. This is K-Rock.
These are the numbers you'll need if you want to win stuff from us today,
including access to unlimited chicken tenders tomorrow for Tender Fest.
We will be out there.
Allie, are you going to come sing the national anthem again?
It was such an amazing performance last time.
Allie flanked by two giant people in chicken costumes on both sides.
Actually, they may have been real chickens. Who knows?
I ate them both. They're dead now.
They're gonzo.
And this is obviously for us.
I mean, this is Vanessa's Coachella.
No one loves tenders more than Vanessa.
No one loves chicken, period, more than Vanessa.
So throughout the show today, when you hear Vanessa demanding chicken,
this is what it sounds like if you're unfamiliar.
Come here, chickens.
No, don't worry.
I'm having problems finding it.
Oh, no, we can't find the Vanessa, come here, chickens.
I can't find it.
Don't you have a chickens folder at this point?
Yeah, what the hell?
She's demanded so much chicken on the show.
Okay, Vanessa, do it.
Do it live, Vanessa.
No, she's eating chicken.
Yeah, she went to go get some more chicken from Ralph.
She really did?
Oh, my God.
She left to go get chicken so she can't do her chicken line?
She's got a real addiction to the chicken.
I think they dropped off a bunch of tenders from Tenderfest.
I think she went down to go pick them up or something because she wants to eat them before we get them.
We're going to actually have the chicken cam on Vanessa throughout the show today on YouTube.
So you'll be able to monitor at any given time her just munching on chicken.
Yeah, you can bet on the chicken tender count.
Yeah, I don't know how many she'll put down today, but I would imagine north of 50.
But regardless, when you hear Vanessa throughout the show, we'll find the clip.
But when you hear her say, come here, chickens, which everyone knows the clip by now.
You've heard it a million times, but it's basically her going, come here, chicken, chicken.
Here it is.
Come here, chicken.
That's what you're listening for.
It'll happen multiple times throughout the show today.
When you hear it, immediately call us.
20th caller.
Every time you hear it, we'll get tickets to Tenderfest happening tomorrow.
And if you want the other access, which is to the In-N-Out Burger sound space, well,
then you can win your way into that starting at 9 o'clock.
Now, doing stuff for free is great, especially if you are taking part in this no-spend September
crap, which Allie presented to us yesterday.
We kind of missed the first half of the month of September, but she goes, oh, let's just
start it now, and let's see who can spend
the least. Look, it's hard to do even for two
weeks. Hard to do for a day.
It's hard to do for one day. I mean, Jake is already
completely losing because he has
purchased a new concert t-shirt and
a new poster all within a 12
hour period. T-shirt was only $10.
But you, but hold on. I thought the whole
deal with the no spend September crap is you don't buy
anything you don't need. It's just...
No non-essential spending.
No, yeah. Both of those things you bought
are the least of the essentials.
Hundreds of shirts?
Don't you have no room left on your walls because you have so many posters?
Eddie lives in a shack, small walls.
Well, decorate a shack.
I highly doubt that.
I highly doubt that.
Dude, he sent the picture of what he bought, and it looks like every other poster he already has.
It's just purple, hazy photo.
That's cool.
How much did you spend, Jake?
I can't say.
It's future money.
It's future Christmas money, so it doesn't really count.
Future money?
What does that mean?
What kind of girl math is that?
You know exactly what it is.
It's a present to myself for Christmas, so I'm not going to buy anything for myself for Christmas.
This is my Christmas present.
How much was it?
$25.
No, it wasn't.
You're lying.
Yeah, I know.
It's future Christmas money.
Hello!
Doesn't count.
I am the ghost of your lame future.
Your wall is going to get uglier.
Welcome to Christmas 2029.
You've bought yourself crap for the last seven years.
Oh, thank you, me.
I love crap.
How many Christmases are you ahead?
Like, are you...
The only couple.
Really?
I don't even think people give themselves Christmas gifts in general.
You do when you don't have kids.
Future Christmas money is the most absurd statement I have ever heard in my life.
So you bought yourself a future Christmas gift.
Look, it's only available for 24 hours.
I have to buy it now or else I'll never be able to buy it.
I tried to tell my wife that we're not spending any money for the rest of the month.
It did not go well, Allie.
You know, it's no spend September right now?
No, I didn't know.
Well, starting today, we're doing the thing to see who can spend the least amount of money through the rest of the month.
Ha ha.
That was a good impression.
Ha ha.
The first reaction was her going, ha ha.
I mean, she didn't even like take me seriously.
Ha ha.
It's the same thing.
Ha ha.
All right.
All right, you two.
to the commercials.
What are you saying?
It's not real.
It is real.
What do you mean it's not real?
It's not real.
So, like, no eating everything
we have in the freezer
or not getting food,
no buying stuff we don't need.
Is this because I won the thing?
She believes that because
she won petty claims court,
I have decided to go
over the top with her
and say, well, now we're doing
no spend September.
That's how much she had no respect
for the concept
of the no spend September.
No, it's not because you won the thing.
This is like a thing.
There's nothing to do with it.
Is that a purchase?
She bought something right in the middle of me saying that.
I was like, what are you doing right now?
I'm explaining the rules.
I'm explaining the rules of no spend September and you're ordering stuff.
I'm sorry.
I'm confused.
You spend as little as possible on everything.
Yeah, like no spending.
No spending is no spending.
No, you're saying spend as little as possible.
That's the same thing.
She's already catching you in this.
Yeah, you don't spend.
You don't spend more than what you need to spend.
Right, I tried to explain.
It's the concept was so lost on her.
You have to pay for bills.
You have to pay, like, you know, gas and stuff like that.
Workouts?
No.
You work out.
So you're not going to work out at all?
Yeah, I'll drag the judge and order.
Nobody has heard this.
You guys know I do the water jugs, working out.
I do the...
I thought that was just a one-time thing.
You're doing that regularly?
Well, I have to now.
Yeah, I thought you were sleep-jugging.
I need to go to the gym downstairs here.
That's free, but I can't do anything right at the peg.
No gym membership or anything like that.
You get here early or go after lunch?
I do workouts with stuff around the house,
jugs of water and stuff.
So, anyway, she's just thrilled about it.
She walked away.
Yeah, did it go better at your house?
It went equally well at my house.
I tried to break the news to everybody at dinner,
and this is how that went.
Okay, so, guys, you know...
What, are they playing you out?
What the hell was that?
I had to tell them through song.
Oh, God.
That's the worst.
I thought, like, you know, whenever you try to, like, you know, do one of your accents,
they just gong you.
They gong you.
We're done.
Oh, it's the gong at her place?
All right, that's enough.
They're trying to drown me out.
Hi, kids.
Yeah.
Okay, so, guys, you know...
What is that?
If we just keep playing music, she'll leave us alone.
She's coming.
She's coming.
Start playing something.
You know how we've been doing a lot of trips?
Yes.
So we went to Chicago.
We went to Tahoe.
I'm talking to you.
God damn.
We went to Nose Boogers.
We went to Nose Boogers.
He's got great jokes.
Good kids.
Good joke.
so all of these trips cost money oh yeah he doesn't realize he doesn't know the concept of
money yet that's a big bummer huh yeah and so i was thinking that for the rest of the month
we do no spend september what
that's a good reaction too and scene similarly disgusted what right there yeah so we don't
spend any more money for the rest of the
month. So that means
no treats, no toys
for the rest
of the month. So disappointing.
No. Say
no. No! Say no.
What? Man. It's messed up.
No one's getting on board with this. Mommy should give us
two eyes!
More money!
And two eyes!
Wow. That backfired.
Yeah, it really did. We're going to the
baseball game tomorrow and we're not
going to bring any, we're going to bring all
of our stuff. We're not going to buy anything at the
game. That's not true.
Guys, I'm serious.
Ali, you can't do
what?
They started going through all the things that they're
going to buy, so now they actually made a wish
list at the end of it.
It's not
fair. It's not going over well. Ricky, quickly,
we've got to take a break. What's up?
Dude, you're giving Jake a hard
time for future money.
He's going to save this.
You are going to save money, and then you're going to gamble it away.
I actually won my bets last night.
Thanks a lot, Josh Allen.
You can't win your bets.
Whose house?
Rand's house.
You get it right.
Thank you.
All right, now I'm saying it, too.
She got the chicken.
Oh, yeah, Vanessa came back.
She did walk down the hall with a big, huge box of chicken, by the way.
So if you want to start watching along on the chicken cam, you can watch Vanessa there,
even while we go to the break.
Keep that chicken cam on Vanessa.
She'll be grubbing all show long.
We've got to take a quick break.
We're back with ADD News next.
And let's try not to spend any money between now and then.
We will give you the chance to win from us free shows.
So you spend even less money this month as well.
And that will be all coming up on KROQ.
Friday morning, KROQ.
Let's get into the ADD news.
If you're watching along on YouTube right now, you've got Chicken Cam.
It's on Vanessa.
She's going ham on some chicken tendies right now.
And just keep listening for the sweet sounds of her saying, come here, chickens.
If you want access to Tenderfest happening tomorrow,
the greatest collection of chicken tenders anywhere at the same place at the same time.
That'll be coming up.
Right now, though, let's get into this, your news.
Should anyone tell Allie what's happening on her face,
or should we just let that happen live on YouTube?
Don't worry about it.
Let's just let it happen.
It looks great.
It looks great.
Wipe your face?
No, no, don't wipe your face.
It looks good.
I think it's good.
What do I have?
Something here?
Nope, you're good.
Something right here?
You're all good.
Let's get into this, your news.
Vanessa's just nodding her head yes to everything.
Grab your Adderall.
It's time for ADD News.
Where is it?
Oh.
You were dribbling a lot of sauce out of the side.
You look like a weird, like a fat vampire.
Instead of blood, just like wing sauce.
Why do I have to be a fat vampire?
Well, because vampires have blood, and you had like wing sauce dripping down your face.
It was hilarious.
Chicken vampire.
Oh, boy.
I've never seen the look in her eye when she's eating chicken.
It's insane to watch.
I'm trying to give a show.
She's high on chicken.
She's high.
She's not trying to give a show.
This is all authentic.
No, it's not.
I like chicken a normal amount, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Well, and then she's going to town on these wings, or on this chicken, and then she's
telling us about her new wing fetish, and how she's been super into wings lately.
I said I'm into wings.
Do you have your own Eden gloves?
She brought gloves.
You brought your own Eden gloves?
No.
What are you talking about?
No, I'm looking at them.
They brought the gloves.
I've never once seen this before.
You're wearing your own gloves for eating chicken.
Did you travel with...
I want to be a messy girl.
Also, they had chicken, brought the gloves.
So I'm using them.
They gave them to me.
I'm going to use them.
What I'm looking at right now is wild.
And then she said, I'm only going to eat three.
Yeah, I ate two.
I'm about to eat the last one.
So if you want to see me eat chicken, get on it.
This is it.
That's going to be happening all show long.
This is it until next hour.
Yeah, don't worry.
Allie, what's happening in the world?
Okay, so it sucks getting a parking ticket.
We all know the feeling, especially if it's for something dumb like street sweeping.
But the good news is that if you live in L.A., that street sweeping ticket could be bogus.
and you could get your money back la has been issuing thousands of bogus parking tickets for
street sweeping and if you've gotten one you can let them know and if it's bogus they will give
you your money back if you've paid that ticket material investigation found the city of la gave
out nearly one million dollars worth of street sweeping tickets on days when city workers did
not actually sweep the streets now listen to this because i had no idea about this specifically
Here's the thing, okay, you might not know this, but most streets are only swept twice a month, so every other week.
Although you might see those no parking signs for a certain day of the week every week, officers won't give you tickets on the off weeks.
So even though it says every Wednesday, they might only do it twice a month.
So those are the only times that you actually have to move your car.
Here's the thing. L.A. material reporters found officers had still given more than twelve thousand five hundred tickets on days where no sweeping was scheduled, amounting to nearly a million dollars in fines.
The city says they will conduct an audit and they promise to pay you back if you paid for a ticket you shouldn't have been given.
Unbelievable, right?
I don't buy it, by the way. The sign's a sign.
The sign is the sign says no parking Tuesdays between noon and two.
And I thought that was their main defense was, here's the sign.
But it's really every other Tuesday.
But the reality is.
They don't do it every Tuesday.
I understand that, but I didn't think.
I thought the sign is a sign.
Right.
They put a sign.
And the signs are also misleading because they also go third Tuesday of every month or whatever.
Every other Tuesday.
Sometimes they do that.
Three signs on one post.
It's like, I don't know which one to listen to.
Yeah, if they double or triple up on the signs, you just walk away.
But if you live in that area and you know which weeks actually get swept.
Well, you can look it up.
I think there's a website.
There's a new greatest feeling in the world.
And that is when you do go to your car and there's a ticket on it, which is a terrible feeling.
And then you realize after looking at the ticket that they got something wrong.
Either they got a letter wrong in your license plate or they got the make of your car wrong.
And then, you know, because of their error, you now are off the hook.
And that is such a great feeling.
I've had that happen a few times.
And I'm like, oh, it's amazing.
I'm still right.
I'm so excited about the ticket that I got
that has not been filed yet.
Is Vanessa breakdancing now?
Yeah, she's dancing while she's eating the chicken.
She's very excited.
It's called the chicken dance.
Are you going to eat all that chicken?
No, this is my third one.
I said I'm only eating three.
Allison, what is the news?
Just tell me the news.
Vanessa, continue.
After many, many decades
of being one of the richest people in the entire world,
Warren Buffett has announced that he is finally retiring.
He is stepping down from running Berkshire Hathaway.
Stepping down will take him a long time because he is 96 years old.
And he is currently worth $144.7 billion.
Now, I know he's not in almost trillionaire territory,
but doing this job has been his life and has been his livelihood for many, many, many years.
However, at 96 years old, he still drinks five 12-ounce servings of Coke every single day
and says he eats like a six-year-old because six-year-olds have the lowest death rate.
He also never spends more than $3.17 on his daily breakfast, which is usually McDonald's.
And he still lives in the same five-bedroom house in Omaha, Nebraska that he bought in 1956 for $31,000.
Wasting away again in Margaritaville.
Gosh, it's really hitting her, huh?
That's the wrong, that's Warren Buffett, not Jimmy Buffett.
You're confused, Vanessa.
It's a different Buffett.
But, you know, he said his secret, Allie, for acquiring all that wealth is he's never wasted any money on concert T-shirts or posters.
Specifically, he said that.
Yeah, so that's the secret.
We get into a brand new hour of the show right now, perhaps the greatest hour of your life.
Here we go.
This is the world famous K-Rock.
Come here, chicken.
Welcome to your K-Rock.
It is just after 8 o'clock on a Friday morning.
And if you need us, phones, text lines, same as yesterday, 800-520-1067 or 323-TIBOLI if you're nasty.
I'm Klein.
That is Allie over there.
Hi.
You got in the KROQ studio, in our studio for a change.
You can see her streaming live.
And she is a double fisting Tendies right now with her special eating gloves.
That is producer Vanessa.
She's putting sauce on every bite.
Yeah, she's doing bite sauce, bite sauce right there.
And, of course, in the back, taking the calls, Postmaster Johnny.
Then you got Jake the Nerd over there.
That's it.
And the audio sniper.
The finest in all the land, known as DJ Omar Khan.
So if you need us, we are accessible to you all morning long
as we are doing this live interactive radio show.
You can call, you can text, you can just sit back and listen.
This hour on the show, we found out that someone on our show
has a friend that just recently started dating a teacher of theirs.
Or a teacher.
And it was an interesting conversation about...
Dating unattainable people that are pretty much your senior.
Yeah, like either later in life.
I mean, we've all heard the stories, right?
Like Allie claims that her and her wife had a threesome with her wife's old softball coach.
High school softball coach.
She was an assistant coach, but still.
But like later in life.
And it seems taboo because you're not supposed to do it, but it's also totally okay, I guess, later in life, right?
She wasn't even my softball coach, and I was like, this is hot.
So we will get into your calls and stories about that a little bit later this hour.
So once again, you ended up dating some, maybe it was like a former boss or maybe a therapist, a doctor.
That's a, that's a crazy thing because they're not allowed to, the therapists are not allowed to date the patients, right?
Isn't that a rule?
I'm pretty sure that's a rule.
But it must happen, right?
It must happen all the time.
I think it happens a lot.
I know someone that started dating their divorce lawyer.
Like the person was helping them get a divorce.
Then they ended up dating that.
And I would imagine divorce lawyers probably, they got a bunch of emotional, vulnerable people there.
And even if it's an organic connection, it probably feels a little bit like a conquest
because you got someone that's kind of unattainable, someone you're not supposed to date.
So we'll get into those stories a little bit later and some nominees for a new round of Lifetime Achievement Awards
all coming up later this hour on KROQ.
But first, we say good morning to, let's see why Chrissy's calling.
Hey, Chrissy, why are you calling us right now?
I heard Vanessa talk about chickens.
Yeah, Vanessa did talk about chickens.
All morning long when you hear this.
I hear chickens.
Call us and get yourself some tickets to Tenderfest happening tomorrow in Beverly Hills, California.
And details and tickets at tenderfest.com.
Congratulations.
Chrissy, you're as good as in.
And we will see you tomorrow.
Hold on one second.
Enjoy all them chicken tenders.
I'm tapping out.
Thank you.
You're tapping out already?
I'm tapping out.
For now.
No, I'm done.
I'm full.
Do you remember the time Vanessa said she wasn't going to have any donuts?
And then we found out later she had three donuts?
That was a donut day.
I think fast forward one to two hours, she will be dipping back into that chicken sweat.
One to two hours.
One to two minutes, I think.
She's going to start getting the chicken sweats.
I know, but you know you can't control yourself.
She's used to the kids' meals.
Yeah.
So anyway, we got lots to get into.
Kick things off with some friends.
Ferdinand on a Friday morning here on KROQ.
Eating dinner after this time means you are more likely to die an early death.
That is freaky, and that is clickbait-worthy, and we will get to that right now.
It's time for clickbait.
Here we go.
All right.
There is a new time that apparently you should be eating dinner for optimum health.
However, there's also a time, and if you eat dinner after this time, you have a very high probability that you will die an earlier death.
And think about that for just a moment.
If you're one of these people that just doesn't have a set dinner time, some days, maybe weekends, you go later.
I know that the trend was moving earlier and earlier, but there's two new findings out today.
And these are experts weighing in, saying that this is the optimum time to eat dinner for optimum health.
And this is the time you should never eat after because, similar to the gremlins, you will potentially die.
Yeah, I know. I've heard stuff about how it affects your digestion if you eat too late because then you go to bed and you're trying to digest while you sleep.
On the other hand, Vanessa just had dinner.
Yeah, she had a lot of dinner.
Yeah.
That would be interesting if they said dinner.
Well, I do think that there's, you know, look, we've been doing things a certain way from society for a while.
You know, the whole breakfast for breakfast and dinner for dinner.
We've started changing that with the BF Thursday.
A lot of people sending us the breakfast they had last night for dinner.
Maybe there's something about having dinner for breakfast.
Oh, I think dinner is the best because there's endless options.
I could eat dinner at any time.
I'm going to go with 530, Mr. 530.
Mr. 530, is the optimum time to eat dinner, and what is the time that you think if you
eat after you will-
Past eight.
Anything after eight?
I think if you eat after eight.
It's not.
No bueno.
If you eat after eight, you die.
That's according to Allie.
I'll give you the answers in a moment.
Jake the Nerd.
Optimum time?
Jake's on chicken cam now, by the way, if you're watching.
Oh, yeah, chicken cam.
Jake's got his platter now.
He's going ham on a bunch of chicken.
He grabbed a ton.
I think he grabbed what was considered the rest of it for us.
I thought he was getting all worried about how much chicken Vanessa-
He was yelling at Vanessa.
You ate all the chicken.
You ate all the tenders.
She almost did.
Yeah, there's plenty of tenders here.
Don't worry.
There's more boxes.
Jake, what is the answer?
I'm going to say 6 o'clock is the optimum time, and anything past 9.30.
Anything past 9.30, you will run the risk of early death.
There are some people that have late.
My in-laws eat at 9 p.m.
And that's at home, out at night, dinner, out at a restaurant.
It doesn't matter.
9 p.m.
If you're doing that intermittent fasting crap, though, don't you, like, isn't that when you have to eat?
Like, don't you not eat all day, and then you get to eat at, like, 9 o'clock at night?
It depends.
You have to have a 12-hour window where you're not eating, so you can decide.
How do you find a 12-hour window when you're not eating?
You have to sleep, right?
That's the only way to not eat.
Yeah, well, you can stop eating at, say, 9 or 10 and then eat at 10 the next day or something.
But I think other people will do 15 hours or 18 hours even, just eat everything in a 6-hour window.
I know a lot of people do that mouth taping thing for sleep, but I've been doing it for eating.
That's what I do.
I just tape my mouth shut during the day.
You still try and eat.
I eat right through the tape.
I just ate the tape.
It's delicious.
Omar, what's the answer?
You know, I have a feeling that the younger generation, everything's going earlier, earlier, earlier.
And weren't you Mr. 5 o'clock for a bit?
Mr. 530.
Mr. 530.
Oh, Mr. 530.
Okay.
He wanted a 530 reservation.
I'm going to say it's going earlier.
I'm going to say 4 p.m. when you can have dinner.
And then I also think the younger generation is getting more sleep, so they prioritize that.
And they're going to sleep around 8 o'clock.
I'm going to say you can't eat anything after 7 p.m.
All right.
Let me start with the dangerous thing.
For every hour after 8 p.m., the study found that the chances of having a stroke, which is a blood supply to the brain, is briefly interrupted, increased by 8%.
That's every hour after.
So think about it.
So 8 p.m., I was right.
9 p.m.
Technically, they say once you hit 9 p.m., you have a 28% more likely chance to die of a stroke.
But understand that 8 is kind of the number they're playing with and going,
and this is based on the idea that you're going to go to sleep sometime around 10, 11, something like that.
That's when it starts to not become beneficial.
That's when it starts to become bad for you, and it starts to increase 8% every hour thereafter.
This optimum time has shifted now even earlier than they originally thought.
There was a window of that 5 to 7, you're good.
But they're saying that now they think that 5 to 5.30, 5.30, Mr. 5.30, is the sweetest spot if you want to optimize your health and make sure.
Now, I don't know if it applies for us because we're going to bed earlier, too.
So this is based on kind of normal, you know, society norms.
Right, but if we're going to bed earlier than everybody else, does that mean we need to eat at, like, 3?
I don't know because part of it is circadian rhythm crap.
Yeah, I'm going to bed later.
So, but, you know, maybe you're one of these people that does, like, a two-dinner.
Some people do that like a light dinner early.
What about me?
I go to sleep at 1.
Yeah, so once again, I don't know.
I don't know the answer.
Based on this, they say the sweetest spot is between 5 and 5.30 is when you want to have dinner.
There you go, Mr. 5.30 is going to live forever.
So watch out.
There's your clickbait.
We'll come back in a moment.
When we return, did you or someone you knew start dating someone that was unattainable for obvious reasons?
Either maybe it was a teacher after the fact.
Johnny claims a buddy of his just started dating one of his former English teachers, which is a crazy story.
An English teacher he claims is the hottest teacher.
I'm just shocked that Johnny ever had a teacher before.
That's the part that's surprising for me.
If you have a story about someone that you dated that was kind of one of those taboo relationships, former boss, something like that, let us know now.
800-520-1067.
We'll come back with that after this.
Taboo relationships.
Certain people you're not supposed to date.
Sometimes it's actually illegal, especially if it's a doctor-patient situation.
Or a relative.
Or a relative, but they didn't stop Allie, so you can see that up on the Instagram.
By the way, I'm following closely that cousin marriage law that's happening in Florida.
You know, 657 let us know that they can't call right now,
but they did at one point start dating their parole officer, which is interesting.
That has to be a sense of accomplishment.
That is, wow, I'm trying to think.
At that point, I guess the parole officer would be in the wrong, because that's probably the deal.
You're not supposed to, right?
I would imagine.
I would imagine that violates parole.
Like, it violates your job as a parole officer.
My dad also married his boss.
Oh, wow.
Well, that's happened more often than that.
I think a lot of times now you have to make a decision.
Like, some people will actually leave a job because the relationship gets to a point where they're like, if word gets out, we'll get fired anyway.
Hey, Ricky, you're on KROQ talking about people that you dated that you probably shouldn't have for whatever the reason may be.
We found out yesterday that Johnny's friend is now dating a former English teacher.
Not his English teacher, but a former English teacher, I guess, at the school.
So, like, you know, it's a little different if it's your own, I guess.
Of course, it's completely different if they taught you and then later on in life you get to date that person and you had a crush on them in high school or whatever grade it was.
Remember that Is It Creepy we did a while ago where the man started dating a woman and she was like in her 20s and he was in his 40s.
Okay, that happens a lot.
But the weird thing is that they had a picture of when she was like three and was sitting on his shoulders.
Oh, yeah.
That's right.
That's me and my wife.
And then they recreated it.
Yeah.
Ricky, what's up?
Well, all of that babble reminded me that one of my friends.
Thank you.
Thanks so much, Ford.
Thanks for signing up for our show.
I appreciate it.
You sound like our boss.
Johnny's college.
He teaches at Johnny's college, and he slept with students.
He's gay.
You have a teacher?
You know a teacher where Johnny went to college who slept with male students?
That's a side story.
Yeah, literally.
So I keep sending him messages.
It's like, is this a guy you stuck with?
But anywho.
Good babble, dude.
That was some real babbling right there.
This guy knows babble.
Takes a babble to know a babble.
Yeah.
Why did you call originally?
Does this apply to you in any way?
No.
Well, because I know a teacher that slept with Johnny.
But anywho, I slept with a student.
Later on, they hired the student to work at my location.
And I stole a lot of money.
and the student my new co-worker whatever was uh accused of stealing said money
i'm sorry you're saying that you slept with a student but now you're saying it's a slash
co-worker did you sleep with a student or a co-worker he hired he hired a former student
to be his co-worker and then he stole money it's a convoluted story i can't get to the bottom of
We don't have time.
Anonymous, you're on KROQ.
Hi, what happened to you?
So, shortly after high school,
I was hooking up with an old classmate
who was a known drug addict
under the false pretense
that I would get them drugs.
And I never told anyone
because on a completely unrelated note,
she later committed suicide.
Oh, my God.
That's so sad.
Terribly sad story.
Jesus.
I didn't realize these stories
were going to be like this.
This took a real twist.
I was thinking we'd get more stories like 323 who said, I am currently sleeping with my kid's teacher.
I am divorced, so it's totally cool, but also I could understand why she wants to keep it hush-hush.
Now, think about that for a second.
You have a kid who's in school.
They have a teacher.
You start sleeping with their teacher.
Is there a conflict of interest there?
Maybe.
I don't know.
Is that?
I don't think there's.
I don't know.
There's no rules against it, I don't think.
I don't think the schools would have rules against that.
At my kid's school, there was a big scandal with the principal sleeping with a parent.
But that's the principal.
Is that a different standard than a teacher?
I think so.
I don't think it would be worse if it was a teacher.
Right, exactly.
This wasn't an employee.
714.
When I was a prosecutor, I slept with a judge.
Now, I don't know what the rules are on that either.
Guilty of being erect.
I don't know what the rules are.
The rule is you can't say that.
Oh, that's the rule?
I object to that joke.
So it's happening on a variety of levels across the board.
Allie, of course, mentioned that she and her wife had a threesome with her wife's former softball coach, but this was many years later.
Yeah, so she was an assistant softball coach, and she was one of the younger.
I think she had just graduated college, or maybe she was even still in college.
She was an assistant coach for my wife's high school softball team.
later they reconnected became friends and then you know Katie and I started dating and then it
just kind of came up where we were like hey if we're gonna have a threesome let's do it
and then we did it and I was I kind of felt like by proxy I had sex with my softball coach even
though that wasn't direct but it still felt pretty cool there's all these relationships that
are taboo for different reasons and ones that you know you're not allowed to do like inside the
workplace sometimes it doesn't matter if you have the same level of job they say they don't want any
hooking up in the workplace, period.
They just don't want that drama there.
But, I mean, that's where most people end up meeting
and spending most of their day together.
Right.
Where else are you supposed to meet people on stage?
That's why Allie and I have so much sexual chemistry.
Yeah, I know.
It's palpable.
That's where all the babble comes from.
I do.
3101, I'm interested if you think this is equally inappropriate.
This person slept with their ex's dad.
Slept with their ex's dad.
What would be the reason for that?
Because she said,
I slept with my ex's dad after she cheated on me.
Oh, well, that's good revenge right there, I guess.
So you're getting revenge sex with the dad, but I mean, what an inappropriate...
I mean, that's a whole porn category, is it not?
Yeah, crappy dad, by the way.
Yeah, that is a crappy dad right there.
I don't know what the hell you guys are doing.
I guess it passes down through generations.
Charles, you're on KROQ.
Hi, what happened to you?
Hey, good morning.
I was a pool manager, and I slept with one of my employees.
And are there rules about that at the pool?
No running.
Ooh.
No, yeah, no, definitely big no-no.
Oh, it's a big no-no.
You have to keep it, yeah.
Keep that hush-hush from all the other employees.
This is Dan.
You're on KROQ.
Hi, what's up?
Hey, so when I was in first grade,
my school had this program where they paired
first and seventh graders together,
and you had like a reading buddy.
There was an older kid who read to you himself.
Yeah, yeah, they still have that reading buddy.
You know what?
I never got a reading buddy ever
because I was not able to read.
Well, I wasn't either,
which is why she read to me.
And then, like, 15 years later,
she also married me.
Wow.
Oh, that's interesting now.
That's one of the...
So you were the first grader,
she was the seventh grader,
and then 15 years later...
Does she still read to you?
That's so weird.
Charlotte's Web.
Or it's like Cat in the Hat.
He's a terrific pig.
Charlotte's Web was sticky.
Yeah, all right.
Oh, there.
Thanks for that joke.
That's Dan right there.
God, what is the new water today?
That's an interesting, I think everyone's reading out the Jake Dill joke book today.
Yeah, seriously.
All right.
Well, that's, wow.
You all got laid.
Good for you.
Some of these relationships are levels of taboo I didn't even think about.
I mean, obviously, you know, everyone thinks about boss.
Yeah, boss employee.
And I understand that happens constantly.
And I also, I have a friend who's a teacher.
And when we were talking about, you know, teachers letting loose over the summer, and she was like, you know, there are a lot of teachers who are swingers or just kind of freaky.
So it kind of makes sense when you think about it in that context.
Right, Omar?
I don't know.
Your wife's a teacher.
I don't know if you think about this, Sally, but this is an interesting one from 818.
I slept with one of my parents' friends.
I am 24 at the time, and they were in their mid-30s.
But apparently, I found out afterwards that this person was my godfather.
Cool.
So think about that for a second.
That's weird.
But you don't know.
Like, you know, some people get that title.
It doesn't mean anything.
Oh, my gosh.
My wife became somebody's godmother, and she takes it so seriously.
She had sex with her.
Oh, yeah.
Good.
That's the most important duty.
All right.
Topher, Katie, I wish we could get to all these calls.
We have to play this one from Dominic.
Wait, Katie's on the phone.
Oh, it's Allie's wife, Katie.
Hold on one second.
Let's see here.
Hi, Katie.
Welcome to KROQ.
What's up?
Oh, this isn't the wife.
Oh, okay.
It's not Ali's wife.
Different case.
Go ahead.
It does.
Yeah.
So I had a jiu-jitsu coach who would mentor.
Can you turn and disguise your voice?
Saul, my name is Janice.
Let Ali's wife talk, everyone.
I slept with my tap teacher.
I'm sorry.
Ali's wife.
Go ahead.
You're on the air.
Kate, what happened?
I had a jiu-jitsu coach that would mentor teenage girls,
and then once they were 18, he'd try to sleep with them.
Wow.
Man, that jiu-jitsu.
I'm telling you, they should make that a legal jiu-jitsu.
Just jiu-jitsu in general?
Yeah, I think that's all those jiu-jitsu coaches are doing is sleeping with the people.
I'm pretty sure of it.
That's where Jake comes from.
562 said they're a plumber, and they've slept with multiple clients on the job.
That seems crazy.
Everyone knows the plumber's stereotype.
I don't think the plumber's held to a higher standard.
like there's probably no rules against that and maybe that's a weird fantasy thing but it does
feel like if they're there to solve a problem i've never seen a hot plumber right every plumber
that's ever come to my house looks like they live in a sewer yeah exactly tofer you're on k-rock hi
what's up you know so uh i used to work my mom well my mom used to take me to work when i was
like seven yeah and i made me you know meet all the co-workers so later on in life i'll start
working where she is, and I slept with
most of those co-workers.
Most of the co-workers you slept with?
Most of them.
A few of them.
How old were you when this happened?
He said he went to work as a kid and met all of her
co-workers when he was seven.
And then later he went to go work there.
What's the age gap?
Yeah.
About 15, 20 years.
Oh, man.
Do you think they were like,
oh my gosh, I remember you as a kid.
Anyway, take your pants off.
Oh, man.
Pull that clip.
Pull that.
God damn it.
Add it to the boy fade holder.
The whole reason we did this segment was so Allie would say something stupid like that
and we'd play it back in her face.
It's okay, right?
Dominic Fike, Baby Doll, which means Allie's going to start dating him.
No, sing for another minute, dude.
No, he's done.
How long is that song?
One minute and 30 seconds.
Wow.
He couldn't have maybe done one more verse?
Yeah.
It just kind of throws us off.
I like a short song, but it's like.
Yeah, that was a little jarring there.
I was like, what?
Okay.
In radio, we have certain songs that we call dump songs, because they're so long that we could actually leave the studio, go down the hall, go to the bathroom, make a number two comeback, bittersweet symphonies, maybe the greatest dump song ever.
Champagne Supernova.
Metallica's got a few, too, which are great.
And sometimes there's a weird effect now, that even though I don't have to go to the bathroom, but one of those songs starts playing, my body will immediately start making a dump.
It's like the brown noise.
Yeah, and this is the exact opposite of that, that Dominic Fike.
Gives you anxiety.
Full panic induced.
As soon as my mind goes somewhere else, it's like, well, we're back.
There's so many of these taboo relationships coming through now.
Sadly, we can't get into all of them because we have more show to get into,
including your tickets in about 20 minutes to go to the next four shows happening here at KROQ.
Oh, here it is.
Oh, no.
Oh, Klein.
You okay?
I've got to go.
Oh, me too.
It's happening now.
There was a conversation.
Please turn that off before I make my pants.
It's got a nice long intro, too.
I know it does.
It really is happening.
Is his spine unbuckling?
It's really starting to happen right now.
I have an outro.
I may have to go down the hall now.
And he's running in slow-mo.
This is all I hear.
This song is like 100% fiber, dude.
So, you know, we talked about people that are in weird relationships.
Earlier this week, Allie, you mentioned the fact that there's more single men now than ever before.
Guys don't want to get married.
Right.
And a lot of guys have called the goat line and given us reasons why.
And, you know, I think women's expectations are getting high for what they want.
And I get it.
No one likes to settle anymore.
I think at some point.
Or they can't go any lower.
And guys just keep getting worse.
Well, I think it's easy to blame the guys.
I mean, look at how excited the girls were that Jake dated just because he showed up and wore a shirt.
Yeah.
Right.
Even though he didn't have sleeves.
But this is what one guy said.
I don't like guys that are getting married anymore.
Women are absolutely nuts and crazy.
So this is this guy's theory, is that women are absolutely nuts and crazy.
I mean, I enjoy a good woman every now and then, you know, but they're nuts.
But they're nuts.
They are crazy, and the expectations have gone.
And I think it goes, I think it's true for both sides.
I think both people have unrealistic expectations.
This is why I say men and women are not compatible.
Yeah, it's, but there used to be.
Guys date guys, girls date girls.
We solved this problem.
There used to be a settle effect.
There used to be a, I will settle to this point.
And then over the years, the longer you're single, the more you settle, right?
Like you go like, all right, I don't care if he has his hair as long as he's got a job or I don't care.
And then eventually he goes, well, he doesn't really have to have his hair or a job as long as he's got some teeth.
As long as he treats me nicely.
Right.
I only cheated on me once.
I'll allow it.
So you just, the settle effect just keeps changing.
But sadly, no one wants to settle for anything anymore.
So everyone's got these ridiculous, they go, I'll only consider dating anyone if they're six feet tall and they make, you know, six figure salad, whatever the numbers are.
and it just becomes so unrealistic with what is actually out there.
I had a friend who's married a woman.
She's nuts.
He's got three kids.
They're all girls.
They're nuts.
Now he's got four women.
Trust me, I get it, dude.
This guy is going to make the argument that all women are crazy, which is a fact.
Well, but also if you spend all your time bashing women,
why would one want to be with you?
Right.
I mean, that's the thing.
I think that the number one thing we have to do is when you have a crazy woman in your life,
you convince her that she's not crazy.
Even though you know she's crazy.
Do you see the problem here?
Right.
It's the craziness is the problem.
But then you say, oh, these are totally normal thoughts.
Complaining about women being crazy.
Right, right.
Oh, no.
I'll stay single and keep my money to myself.
Thank you.
Why?
Why?
Why would I want a woman other than, you know, other than that, it's not that important.
So that's the other thing.
People are not prioritizing the relationship part of it.
And I think kids have gotten ridiculously expensive.
And as a result, people just go, what is...
It's all just a big hassle.
But then you know what?
You're just sitting alone with an AI chatbot as a girlfriend.
And then you start slowly losing your mind.
And then your mind starts to turn on you.
And then you start creating people that don't exist.
And then you've gone cuckoo.
And you're the crazy one.
I agree with Allie.
Guys are getting worse by the day.
Hashtag team vibrator.
Ah, I've always been team vibrator.
So pull that as well.
So understand that that's where we're at right now.
And I don't know if there's an end in sight.
I mean, we could do one of those single dating event things.
We haven't done one of those.
I know that Kevin and Bean used to do a lot of legendary singles parties.
There was an opportunity to get people together.
And I know that some people have met as a result of this show.
But the concept that this is, now we've got the evidence to back it up,
but that people are embracing being single, loving being single.
It used to be like all single people were doing was just trying to not be single.
And now I think it's kind of the opposite.
Well, I think also online dating has ruined everything.
I think that men, I mean, this is generalization, but I think a lot of men who want to sleep with women are literally on a dating app just to do that.
They just want to sleep around and then move on with their life.
The girls would rather have a long-term relationship.
So these two people just can't be compatible with one another.
Hey, Mario on KROQ, hi.
How's it going, guys?
Good.
You know, they're all crazy.
Some are just crazier than others.
You just got to find the one that fits your crazy and go with it.
And by the way, I agree that men, especially now, can be not as crazy, but can be crazy too.
And I think he's right about that.
Not as crazy as women or not as crazy as they used to be?
No, I think that men are a different type of crazy as well.
Remember we used to do that thing called he cray, she cray, Allie, where it was all about how men always,
accused of women
of being the crazy ones
in the relationships
and then we found
all these examples
of guys doing
absolutely bonkers crazy ass.
Well, because what
we learned through that
and kind of why
we stopped doing it
was that women would be like,
oh, I'm going to put
laxatives in your coffee
and guys would be like,
I'm going to murder.
Yeah, but...
Like, that's their crazy
is just full on,
you know,
it's all or nothing
with guys.
But if you think about
most of those shows,
you say laxatives
in the coffee,
that became...
Women would then
do the antifreeze
in the coffee.
Yeah, but isn't SNAT
like all chicks?
Snapped, right.
When they snap.
Like a show of snaps.
Because it's about snap.
It's not about snap.
It's about they snapped.
Yeah.
So, listen, the reality is you're right.
Everyone's crazy, so you've got to find your type of crazy.
What crazy you'll tolerate.
But, I mean, Allie, you would agree, right?
You're crazy.
Do I agree that I'm crazy?
I'm crazy.
Oh, boy.
See, just the way you said that.
What about me do you think is crazy?
Oh, girl, snap.
I have a pen in my hand
with a naked lady on it.
No, I think that
we all have the ability to be crazy, no?
Right, but why specifically am I crazy?
Whatever you're doing right now
is why specifically.
I feel like I'm one of the more
sane people in your life.
Yeah, but that's not saying much
in my life. Right, but you have a lot
of crazy people
and you do crazy things and you create
a lot of chaos in your life. Yes.
I am like a calm
I'm the calm to your storm
So why am I the crazy one
Yeah your whole
What is that thing
It's not a shiv yet

Hello?
Yep.
That's exciting.
That's the reaction we're looking for.
Let's get into your news now,
and then a brand-new hour of the show will officially begin.
Grab your Adderall.
It's time for ADD News.
So I admit I have not really become that familiar
with the name Duncan Sheik,
But if you were a child of the 90s, you probably remember this song.
It's a tribute, I believe, right?
The song?
Well, no, I mean, now we're paying tribute.
We are now paying tribute.
Yeah, Duncan Sheik died, and this happened not long ago, kind of just breaking now.
There was this morning, there were some reports that he was in a coma and was stable but in critical condition.
Now we're learning that he passed away, 56 years old, technically of cardiac arrest is what I'm hearing from his relatives.
He was a kind of one-hit wonder in the 90s.
This was his big hit.
he started off playing guitar with lisa loeb in college and lisa said that he was an extremely
shy kid who barely even had the confidence to sing in public and eventually he became this mtv
heartthrob but he was a one-hitter by choice uh all the fame and all the attention was really
uncomfortable for him so he left the music industry and he instead turned to broadway
where he won two tony awards for spring awakening which was a huge breakout musical when that came
out, I think, in the 2000s.
So, obviously, he had a very
diverse life and a diverse
career. We're at the Pentagons!
And, again, it's not
like I really knew this guy very well or followed
his career, but, of course, R.I.P.
It's sad to know that someone dies that quickly
of something like that. The saddest part about this is that
you used this man's death to crowbar in
some of your Broadway news. And you
always look for reasons. He won two Tony Awards!
I understand that, but... See, there you go again.
Yeah, here you go. And I've won none.
Just keep bringing up Broadway.
I don't look for any reason to bring up Broadway.
I didn't even tell you that I saw this musical when it came out.
Where's that gong?
Yeah.
There's the gong.
Your family plays.
No, that doesn't work in this show.
It does work on this show.
It only works at home.
All right.
Okay.
Thank you so much.
I guess we'll just move on.
I won't go through my other musical theater history.
Okay.
This is offensive somehow.
We've all done it before.
We say, I'm going to put my phone on do not disturb
so I can detach from my phone and really focus?
Well, according to a new study that does nothing.
It doesn't work.
In fact, it makes your phone dependency even worse.
People who put their phone on Do Not Disturb
or put it on silent
checked their phones an average of 98.2 times a day,
which was double if it was just on regular mode.
Talking vibration, ring,
no Do Not Disturb filters, anything like that.
So basically they're saying it can make things worse
because the phone FOMO you feel,
when it's on silent or do not disturb
and you don't know if you're getting messages or not
makes you want to pick up the phone twice
as much as if you
hadn't done anything. No, when I do that, I get the
phantom buzz. You know, the phantom
vibration? I was going to say that. And I'm just like,
what the hell? I could have sworn
it vibrated. And no, it did not.
It's the weirdest thing. Omar's right.
I don't know who's behind the phantom
vibration, but I
feel that multiple times a day.
And that is... It's troubling.
I think it's psychosomatic. You think
that it's vibrating when it's not.
No, no, you feel it.
You feel the pulse.
You feel the buzz.
And your body's making that up.
It's not making it up.
Now, maybe it's a reaction
after feeling them for so long now
that maybe we've somehow
re-messed up our nerves or something.
Yes.
But I'll tell you something.
You think it's Apple being like,
hey, remember me?
It's a conspiracy.
I think that they're,
if you're on Do Not Disturb long enough,
you know, like on Spectrum,
they have that annoying thing
that hits me every Sunday
when I'm watching football
and it says,
hey, you haven't moved in a while.
Are you still watching this?
And I'm like, stop judging me, Spectrum.
I'm on the couch watching football all day.
Yes, I'm still watching.
I think it's like Apple's way of letting everyone know, like, hey, you can't do not disturb us.
We will disturb when we damn well choose to.
Right, exactly.
But then you look at the phone and you go, that's weird.
I have no alert here.
So where did the buzz come from?
And then you kind of get sad that you picked up your phone for nothing.
So then you're like, well, I might as well open Instagram.
I mean, I'm here.
See what's going on.
See what's happening.
Might as well start a conversation with somebody.
All right.
Just in time for the holidays and holiday shopping.
Toy stores are coming back.
Specifically, Toys R Us.
Much Love Chain is planning its biggest expansion since its 2017 bankruptcy.
The company plans to open 120 stand-alone stores across the country ahead of the holiday season.
One will be at Woodbury Common in Orange County.
The new stores come as the toy industry marks its biggest sale spike since 2020.
And they're saying, you know, a lot of people want to buy toys, especially kidults.
Kids, you know, adults that want to buy kid stuff.
and so now they have another
now there's more reason to have
a Toys R Us and there really aren't any
toy stores there anymore so now's
a great time to bring it back. About a year ago
I went to the toy store, the Toys
R Us in Camarillo and it's a like
full-blown store, not a
pop-up and it was awesome.
Yeah, just only toys. We played
like for an hour and a half. It was great
and we bought. Who's the kid of the
show? You.
Who bought kid sneakers yesterday? Didn't you
yesterday go to buy shoes and they sent you the kids
section vanessa not even kidding this is a true story continue omar
i thought they didn't like you just playing
kids shoes that's it but i think that's why they stopped was because a lot of people like you omar
would just go there and play around and not buy anything no we we ended up buying some um stuffed
animals for my kids but it was awesome because they encouraged it you know and yeah we're taking
pictures with the dumb giraffe,
whatever his name is.
Jeffrey.
Whatever his name is.
National treasure.
I didn't know he had a name.
Of course, Jeffrey the Giraffe.
Legend.
Who doesn't know?
I think I went into that store
as a kid a bunch of times.
I don't think my parents
ever let me buy anything.
Same.
I do feel like I kind of
want to go back there
and buy the Power Wheels
that I always wanted as a kid
and never got.
The feeling of getting that ticket
and then going behind the cage
to get your video game
was so great.
Yeah, and I don't think
a lot of people get to
experience that anymore
because they just get the boxes
that show up on their doorstep
and they don't get to experience
the joys of all of those things.
Or you just go to a toy section
of a store
and it's like a few aisles of fun
and that's it.
But Allie's right though.
All of a sudden,
these kids that didn't get stuff
when they were kids
now have a job,
a little bit of disposable income.
They're like,
I'm going to go buy
all the toys I wanted.
I'm going to go buy a Power Wheels
now that I can't fit in it.
There are more adults
spending money on toys now
than ever before.
I mean, it's...
I mean, half the Hello Kitty stuff
is being purchased by adults.
It's not being bought by kids.
And that explains
why no one's dating anyone anymore.
The world famous K-Rock.
Good morning. Welcome to your weekend.
It's Friday here at K-Rock.
Thanks for checking us out.
If you're new to the show, you'll figure it out eventually,
or you will find us annoying and you'll move on
and we'll never speak again, and that's okay.
But if you want to, follow along.
We're on Instagram, Klein Alley Show.
You can find us on TikTok as well.
See some videos that are doing quite well,
including Stanley from The Office.
We've got the woman who slept with her brother.
A lot of stuff up there for you to check out.
At your leisure.
There's a lot of questions here on the text line for Vanessa626.
Do they have Velcro, the sneakers, or do they have grown-up laces?
Do they have wheels?
714 wanted to know if they light up when you step.
What happened yesterday, Vanessa?
I'm being serious.
You went into a regular adult store to buy shoes, and they sent you to the kids' section?
I specifically went to a running shoe store, and I was like, look, I'm here for a regular running shoe.
so he's um he he measured my foot blah blah blah he's like i only have size six and i was like okay
for which one from this brand does it carry my size and then he's like well only the kids one
so i was like i'm okay with that i need a running shoe i don't care i let my pride away so i have
small feet who cares right but then what happened to the kids section oh the shoe color situation
was terrible.
Right.
It was either bright purple
or bright teal.
And I'm like,
God damn.
You just want grown-up colors.
Yeah.
Yeah, for all.
You're upset about that.
You know,
we talked to Brad Williams.
He says he saves a ton of money
because he gets all, like,
the cool new, like, you know,
Jordans or whatever,
but he gets to buy
the kid-sized ones,
which are way cheaper.
So jealous of that.
And usually there's, like,
a lot more selection there, too.
And so you would think
that'd be a good thing,
but you're saying
they all come in
different kids' colors.
That's the problem,
more than the size.
That was a problem. It did fit me perfectly, but you know what? I saved $70, so I'm winning.
I may have Buzz Lightyear on it.
What are the odds that we go into a shoe song after all of that, huh?
Oh!
It's almost like we planned it.
All right, this hour we'll get you into not one, not two, not three, but the next four shows happening here at KROQ.
That includes Fontaine's DC, The Paradox, and more, so be ready to win your way into those shows coming up later this hour.
plus your box of shame is next just when you thought you were in a good mood because the
weekend is here we have the box of shame our deepest darkest most shameful secrets and one
of us will be forced to explain ourselves so here we go the box what's in the box of shame
shame shame shame there's one thing in the box of shame that i put in probably two weeks ago
and I am dreading pulling it out.
It will be by far my most shameful secret ever.
Can I know what it's regarding?
No, because I hope it never gets pulled out.
I mean, there's some in here that I think have been in here
for over a couple of years now we haven't pulled.
So it's hard to tell which one we pull out.
If it'll be a new one, an old one.
Or another one of self-pleasuring.
Oh, yeah, self-pleasuring.
That's a lot of yours.
Is there another one of you pretending you're deaf
to scam old people?
That's what I forgot about.
I didn't pretend I was deaf to scam old people.
I pretended I was deaf to get out of a timeshare presentation thing.
Oh, okay.
What did you do to old people to scam old people?
I don't think I scammed old people.
No, you scammed an old person to buy a beard, didn't you?
Yeah, but that was when I was younger, much younger.
It was a different time.
It was okay.
This person, not me.
When you were deaf, how did that sound?
Wow, that's a bad impression.
They didn't ask a lot of follow-up questions
But they did not have a
I think Klein was just pointing to his ear
I'll be honest
Because it's Boxer's name
I did do deaf voice
But then they said that I could leave
And I got the trip
As you know, if you go on a trip
They're expensive
If you go and agree to sit through the three-hour timeshare thing
They are bad, I've done that before
It's cheaper, but a nice loophole is that a lot of times they don't have a, you know,
they don't have one that is ADA approved or whatever.
I don't know if ADA is the right group, but whatever.
And so if you just go, they will say, oh, I'm sorry, you can go.
Omar, I expect to hear this in the weekend song by the end of the show.
By the way, this was so many years ago, and I saved a lot of money.
well you because you got to take advantage of the three the free thing without having to sit
through the hour present the presentation yeah that's pretty great it would have been like a
two thousand dollar trip that i think i paid like three hundred dollars yeah because i did that one
time where i was supposed to get a free cruise and i was worn down i didn't end up buying anything
but i ended up not doing the cruise because i was like i can't do this and that's me and they make
and they tell you if you don't sit through the timeshare thing they will give you they'll give
you the they'll bang you out for the full cost the rack rate everything like no discount no
nothing like if you don't do it they're like you will get hit with because i think you have to put
your credit card up and they'll be like this will turn from being three hundred dollars into being
like two thousand dollars like that so what's on that piece of paper it's not that thank god and
by the way that was years ago i can't believe we're even talking about that still i'll pretend
next time next time you bring it up omar i'm gonna pretend i can't hear you okay can't wait
Bring it up a lot.
What does that sound like?
Stop it.
Can you play the gong for him?
He's getting so aggressive.
Oh, my God.
You guys are like too confident with it.
You're harassing me.
Most aggressive deaf guy I've ever met.
And it's also one of your better impressions.
We've already talked about it.
We're not bringing this up again.
This person broke something valuable in a store and then hid it.
Rather than report it.
Repeat it?
Report it.
Or buy it.
Or buy it.
Yeah, that was me.
I'll say that was me.
And I think you would have done the same thing.
You break it, you bought it.
That's the rule.
All stores have that rule.
That's not.
That's just what the sign says.
That's the policy.
You break it, you bought it.
Yeah, but if the thing is super expensive and it was an accident, what are you supposed to do?
It's always an accident.
We go to there like a Greek wedding.
Hoppa!
Well, this is why I don't like going into stores in general, especially antique stores.
My wife, we were walking back from a restaurant and there was an antique store that was still open.
I thought they were supposed to close at 5 p.m., but apparently it's still open.
She goes, let's walk in here.
We have our kid with us.
Why would we be walking through an antique store when we have a four-year-old who wants to pick everything up and touch it?
so he picks up this it's like a ceramic like a starfish type thing and he's walking around with
it and i'm like i don't think he should be walking around with this it looks really expensive
i looked on the back there was a price tag you know it's written in all cursive because it's
all the old people running the antique shop and it's all made up crap anyway yeah but it was like
500 and something dollars this thing for a ceramic starfish yes five hundred dollars
I'm telling you, most of the stuff at antiques stores, no, no, no.
They're just crap.
It's just old crap that they mark up.
And if they write it in fancy cursive, then you believe them.
Yeah, you sell one piece of that grapes.
You got suckers walking in there, oh, it's an antique store.
It might be worth something.
Yeah, and I know, Ali, you're a lesbian, but gay guys love antique stores.
And they got money.
Oh, yeah, they can't stay away.
And they tell them one story like that used to belong to the Queen of England.
Like, we must have it.
Put that in the box the same, too.
Batten a thousand on this right now.
And what would a deaf gay guy sound like?
I'm not answering that.
So, Katie keeps saying, well, we need to have more unique things.
I don't just want to buy dishes on Amazon or whatever.
I want to have things that have personality and are one of a kind.
And I'm like, you mean junk.
You mean just random junk, and we can find this at Goodwill.
It's at an antiques shop.
They basically just put a different price tag on it.
That's the major difference between Goodwill and an antiques shop is they write it in cursive instead of a neon sticker.
So, anyway, we are milling about the aisles, and eventually I see he no longer has this starfish.
in his hands and I'm like
Wesley what did you do with the starfish
and he says I don't know
and I go back through another
aisle and I see it on the floor
broken. I don't know
That's great
You're raising him well
So I go back and I'm
like oh my god this thing is falling
I mean it works right
and so I
picked it up and there was
a rack of old moth-eaten clothes
and I just put it in there.
I put it in a pocket and I walked away.
Oh, you put the shards of the starfish in a pocket of clothing?
So that a nice old lady can try it on
and cut her.
Hand open now as well?
I didn't want to buy. I'm not going to spend $500
on a broken starfish.
That is some shameful ass stuff.
Am I right?
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Too much.
It's just disgusting. The whole thing is gross.
I don't even want to go home anymore, to be honest.
I think I'm going to stay here this weekend.
Oh, no.
That's right.
Me and my dog.
It's going to set us both off.
This puppy, I mean, I love dogs.
I've always loved dogs.
And they do gross things, but it's not gross because it's a dog.
So it's funny when dogs lick themselves and scratch themselves and burp.
It's hilarious.
Drag your ass across the carpet.
It's the best.
There's nothing funnier in the world than a dog dragging its head.
And they may say, oh, it's because it's got worms, which is gross, but it's still funny.
But I forgot about this because I got this puppy again now.
And it is doing this thing where it takes a dump and then immediately turns around and tries to eat it.
And that is like, ugh.
Tries or succeeds?
Well, I mean, he's great at it.
He's very good.
He's like the Joey Chestnut of Dawn.
He's picking it up after himself.
In some ways, it is helpful, but in other ways...
The entirety or...
Yeah, it tries to, and it's quick.
Like, I got to, because, you know, the whole thing is I got to, like, I'm supposed to be out.
I spend my whole life now just out there watching the thing walk in circles.
So the second I'm trying to train this thing to go outside, so as soon as it goes, I'm supposed to jump up with a cookie and go,
like that, you know, real excited.
You got to get real excited.
no wonder he's eating those crap if you screamed at me i didn't blow crap like that so they say
you have to do you'll go away you have a you have a second to you know give them a positive
reinforcement or else they don't realize they don't connect them so as he's but you don't want
to freak him out in the middle of it because you got to get him to fully go so i got to wait the
one second i wait for him to finish crapping before i start jumping out with a cookie to say
good boy, good boy, he
in that second turns around and now he's eating his crap
and I think he thinks I'm telling him good boy for eating your own
crap. I think he's all confused now. Right.
The whole thing is gross. So now he's like, oh, this guy loves me.
I better keep eating my crap.
He doesn't want to? I did my
research.
Why is he making me do this?
And now what I have to do
You're a good boy. Yes, you are.
Which is
gross. I'm supposed to put
meat tenderizer
It's according to the expert.
This only happens to you.
I'm telling you, someone else knows what I'm talking about.
I'm supposed to put meat tenderizer in his food.
What is meat?
Is it like a powder?
Like, what is it?
Yeah, it's a powder, meat tenderizer, unseasoned.
And then supposedly what that does is when he actually ends up crapping afterwards,
it smells so bad that even he doesn't want it.
But then your whole lawn is going to smell like the worst.
Lawn and living room and everywhere else because he's crapping everywhere now.
So it's a terrible situation.
Anyway, I'm going to the...
It may be a kill shelter situation if I get it today.
That's just what I'm saying.
Are you doing the meat tenderizer thing?
Are you going to try that?
I just got some.
I haven't used it yet.
I got to start sprinkling it in the food now.
But it's...
That sounds good.
It's gross.
Yeah, try it.
See how stinky you get.
You need some yourself.
I'll try it myself.
Spoonful for you, spoonful for him.
If you would like to win yourself access into the next four shows here at KROQ,
all you have to do is call us at this exact moment, 800-520-1067.
Today we're going to do a little Johnny Doesn't Know Body.
We've got different body parts that we will be mentioning.
And we'll see if Johnny knows where they are on the Vanessa doll.
No, you weirdo.
And if he's right or wrong, you could win next.
Hey, Rock.
We are the Klein Alley Show entering the studios right now.
A man by the name of Johnny Genius, Postmaster Johnny,
is going to try to answer some questions.
Easy questions.
I think most people listening will know these answers.
But Johnny may or may not.
And all you've got to do is predict will he or will he not.
Everyone who gets theirs right, Alley writes your name down.
And one of you will win access to the next four shows here at KROQ.
That includes Dexter the Moon Rocks, Fontaine's D.C., The Beaches, and The Paradox.
So you get to go to all the shows, and all you've got to do is predict yes or no.
Johnny, how are you feeling right now?
I'm feeling full of chicken.
Yeah?
It was pretty good.
Yeah, everyone's been eating the chicken.
You weren't eating that at first.
I wasn't eating it at first because I was like,
that's a little too early for some tendies right now.
But now I was feeling the vibes.
Yeah, Jake's already started going around trying to collect his take-homes.
Oh, my God, he's so great.
He's like, how many are you taking home?
I'm going to fill up my plate.
I'm like, well, I don't know, man.
This is why I have a Tupperware for these days.
Did you bring it?
For these days.
Hell yeah, dude, it stays here.
He has it always here in case we don't have any leftover food.
Smart.
Let's get into this round of Johnny Doesn't Know.
Here we go.
Johnny doesn't know.
And I was like, okay.
Oh, Johnny doesn't know.
I didn't know Vegas was like in Vada for like a while.
Johnny doesn't know.
Johnny doesn't know.
Gelato sounds like Jell-O.
Johnny doesn't know.
It, like, goes wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and just wiggles.
All right, Johnny, you've got in front of you three different dolls.
You've got the Ollie doll, you've got the Klein doll, and you've got the Vanessa doll.
And I will ask you questions about body parts, and you just have to pick one of those dolls
and show us where on the doll you would find the body part
and explain it, obviously, into the microphone as well
for people that are not watching on YouTube and are listening.
And let's see if Johnny knows where certain body parts are located.
We say good morning now to Marco in Los Angeles on Line 5.
Marco, welcome to Johnny Doesn't Know, first contestant out of the gate.
You ready to go?
Let's go, sweet divots.
All right, sweet divots to you.
Johnny, where would you find on the human body the uvula?
Will Johnny know where the uvula is?
He's looking now at the Vanessa doll.
Well, you know what's crazy?
This is my first time holding this doll.
Yeah.
Fix her hair, by the way.
They gave her a rack.
Yeah.
Yes, I know.
Why does she have boobs?
It's their huge.
It's like Sidney Sweeney.
Yeah.
And she's white with this doll.
Yeah, light skin.
Marco, what do you think?
Do you think Johnny will know where the uvula is?
He will not know.
He will not know.
All right, Johnny, you're holding the Vanessa doll now, or the Allie doll.
You can pick up any of the dolls you want and just tell us while you show us with your finger where the uvula is located.
Well, these dolls don't have mouths that open, but the uvula is all the way at the back of Allie's throat.
Like, wow.
That's absolutely correct.
You know, I thought when he picked up both of the girl dolls that he thought only girls have uvulas.
Yeah, I was convinced.
We all thought he was going to go vagina.
In fact, I'll tell you right now, off the air, we were talking about this before you came in here.
Allie had no idea.
No, I didn't.
You had no idea where the uvula was at?
Allie had no idea.
No, you said uvula, and I thought, well, vagina.
But then once you said the throat, I was like, oh, yeah.
That's what that's called.
The punching bag in the back of the throat.
The vagina of the face, the uvula, right?
Yeah, vagina of the throat.
All right, we go to question number two now.
Sorry, you did not predict correctly.
Johnny knew that one.
We said hi to Tina in orange.
Hey, Tina, welcome to K-Rock.
Johnny doesn't know body parts.
You ready for this?
Yes.
Okay.
All right, well, Johnny, know where the navel is.
Yes or no?
Yes.
Johnny, you're holding up the Klein doll now.
Yeah.
Where do you believe the navel is?
Navel rhymes with nasal, but it's not the nose.
So I'm going to put the Klein doll down with that one.
So what good does this rhyme do?
That's how Johnny remembers all body parts.
The rhyme.
The navel is a place on the body that you can actually get pierced.
Because I've heard it in the commercial.
Tommy T's.
Yeah.
You're holding up the alley doll now.
You're looking at her body.
You're looking at her giant face.
The navel.
Oh, it's the belly.
It's the belly button, I think.
Oh, the belly button.
Yeah, that's the correct scientific term for it.
I think.
All right.
Hold on one second.
Tina thought you would get it, and you got it.
That's it, right?
Yeah.
Hold on one second.
That is correct.
The navel.
You have one still, right?
Yeah, they don't remove it.
It's still there.
Sorry.
Not the belly button.
You still have a navel, right?
Yeah, I think so.
Chewy and Whittier, good morning.
Welcome to Johnny Doesn't Know.
Hi, good morning.
Hey, will Johnny know where the frenulum is located?
Yes or no?
i don't know okay johnny's not gonna know the frenulum johnny is uh looking turning it upside
down he's looking at the klein doll right now and johnny this guy doesn't think you'll know
where the frenulum is located damn i've never actually heard of a frenulum and it's not a
genital either it's not a genital uh it's not in the rectum uh you're touching and ruling out body
parts on Klein. It's so uncomfortable.
I mean, I get why Vanessa hates this, because now
Johnny's holding the one of me.
I can make him have sex right now, too, if I wanted to.
Johnny, no! But I'm not going
to, because that's weird.
This guy doesn't think you'll know where the
frenulum is located.
I honestly can't even take a guess, because I've
never heard of that. Frenulum?
Let's go with
part of the rib. I think it might be part
of the rib, actually. Part of the rib?
Yeah, like somewhere in there. Do you think you
have a frenulum? I hope I don't.
I hope you don't.
No, because I'm not gay.
Is this because you had ribs yesterday?
No, wait.
Is that a...
Why are you touching Allie?
Well, I was mistaken.
Why are you flicking your wrists like that?
Well, because she said it's not because gay,
and I was like, oh, maybe it's something gay people have.
We have different body parts?
Well, now I think about it.
Now I don't think so.
Damn, I don't know what a fenulem is.
Let's go with something around the chest plate.
Something around the chest plate.
Yeah, maybe like a breastplate.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
All right.
Chewy, good job.
You said Johnny wouldn't know.
Johnny, a frenulum is part of your penis, dude.
Oh, I have one of those then.
Yeah, well.
What the hell?
I've never heard that.
Yeah.
Johnny doesn't know that, but that's where you'd find it.
What is it?
I really don't know either.
Yeah, everybody's stumped on that.
I think the frenulum.
You're fake.
Well, I believe it's-
Do you know?
Yeah, I know.
Listen, I know it's-
I know I've got the biggest one around.
Pull it out right now.
Go with your frenulum, yo.
I'm trying to figure out how to say this on the radio is the problem
because I don't know what gets us to a point of being medical versus graphic.
But it would be, Allie, where the...
It's in the area where the tip would meet the shaft area.
Can I...
See what I'm saying?
It connects the underside of the shaft to the foreskin.
Right.
I'm trying to clean it up.
Yes.
I know where that's at.
Yeah.
Johnny knows.
Johnny knows what that tastes like.
All right.
Let's say hi now to Alex in East L.A.
Alex, it is Johnny.
There's no body parts.
He's gotten a few right, but also a few wrong.
Good morning, Alex.
Let's see if Johnny knows this one.
Will Johnny know where a cuticle is located?
Yes or no?
Please, Johnny.
Please know this one.
Please.
She says, please know this one.
Cuticle.
Johnny, you want to pick up the Vanessa doll, the Ali doll, or the Klein doll?
I'm going to stick with the Allie doll, I think.
Thank you.
Yeah.
The cuticle is actually a piece of the nail on the hand.
Wow.
Johnny.
It's a nail.
I'm shocked you knew that.
Hold on one second.
Alex with a correct prediction.
Let's go.
So right now we've got Alex who's right, Tina who's right, and Chewy who's right.
And it comes down to one final person.
And then Allie will decide who is going to the next four shows here at KROQ.
And there is interesting questions about function.
Allie and I were talking about this off the air.
Like, does Johnny know what the function of the liver is?
Does, right.
Like, he knows the organ exists, but what does it do?
Oh, yeah.
People who are, like, alcoholics drain their liver, and then they got to go to dialysis,
and they get put on a list to get a new liver.
But it's, like, tough.
He clearly knows all that.
This is the last question.
This is for Christopher.
Good morning, Christopher.
Welcome to Johnny Doesn't Know.
Good morning.
Will Johnny know where the clavicle is?
Yes or no?
Yes, I believe he knows.
Okay, Johnny.
Which doll would you like to use for this one?
I think I'll go with the Vanessa for this one.
Yeah, the clavicle is right here around the neck area.
Right at the top of the breastplates and the shoulders.
Why is everything a plate?
Do you not have a breastplate?
The body just keeps you in different plates, stack plates.
I've hurt my knee plate, my leg plate, my foot plate.
My hip plate.
Remember in Pulp Fiction, he has to stab her through the breastplate with the little thing?
Yes, yes.
Yeah, breastplate.
Yeah.
We all got one.
Right.
But yeah, her clavicle is like right here.
And that's where football players get hurt.
That's where everybody gets hurt.
So I'm going to go right there.
Christopher, good job.
Johnny got clavicle.
All right, so Johnny does know the body.
I mean, he didn't know about his own frenulum, but other than that, he did okay.
Allie, who's going to the next four shows here at KROQ?
Will it be Chewy, Tina, Christopher, Alex?
I know you're picking at random, and who will it be?
It's Christopher.
Congratulations.
Wow, the last contestant.
Oh, yes.
Christopher, congratulations.
You're going to the next four shows here at the In-N-Out Burger Sound Space at KROQ.
Lots of music, lots of burgers in your future.
Hang on, and thanks for waking up with us here on KROQ.
Thank you.
More show after this.
hey rock we are klein ali show we'll get into the news in just a moment but you may want to
know a little bit more about the person who's going to deliver the news her name is ali she
sits right there she is a lesbian she's pregnant and this guy's got questions i've been wondering
if ali was either the woman or the man in her marriage i never thought i would say this but
she's actually both because it's just it's not enough that she does the cooking and cleaning
It's not enough that she lets her wife use her credit card without having access to her credit card.
Turns out she now has to carry her wife's kid.
That's just insane.
I need to learn Katie's manipulative tactics and use it against other people.
Oh, man, it's unbelievable.
It is a superpower.
You know, I was talking about that recently to somebody.
I was explaining that I'm carrying the baby, but it's my wife's egg and the donor's sperm.
and then I was like, I guess when you think about it,
I'm really a surrogate.
Yeah, you are.
You're a surrogate.
But surrogates make money usually.
Like $10,000.
More than that.
Oh, more than that?
I think some of them make like $20,000.
Come on.
I'll get pregnant for $20,000.
Well, then you have surrogates that are having babies
for Lady Gaga and Lena Dunham
and all these other A-listers, right?
I'm pretty sure Lena Dunham's pregnant.
Okay.
She doesn't have a uterus, dude.
Oh, okay.
Well, in that case, I'll go with the surrogate then.
Yeah.
So $20,000 is what someone can make for carrying someone else's baby?
I would imagine that.
And you have to cover all the medical expenses on top of that.
And what about like cravings, like pickles and stuff?
You have to cover the pickle cravings, yes.
Oh, man, that's another $20,000.
I have to fund my own pickle cravings.
That's crazy.
I have to try and get free food at a radio station to get by.
Allie truly is the male and the female in her lesbian relationship.
And your wife's kind of just going along for the ride.
Excuse me, she cleaned up dinner last night.
All right.
She wouldn't stop talking about it.
cleaned up cleaned up dinner there you have it uh we'll get into your news now and then a brand
new hour of the show will officially begin grab your Adderall it's time for ADD news so we all
know that AI engineers have been quitting their jobs whistleblowing telling us that the AI world
is getting out of control fast one engineer in particular said that AI has the power to kill us
all by the end of the decade and now open ai and anthropic are reporting more problems and they're
also finally acknowledging that they need to pump the brakes on this whole ai thing and make sure
that we're not plotting our own demise six more incidents where its artificial intelligence models
went rogue the tech company says rather than hacking other websites these systems hid mistakes
moved files into the open internet without permission
and even made up statistics for inquiries it could not answer.
So it's doing shady stuff to cover its own tracks just like humans would
and it's not even being asked to do that.
Open AI called the actions concerning.
Open AI and Anthropic are calling for a slowdown in the development of AI
to address safety concerns.
So you know things are bad when Open AI and Anthropic,
who could be making millions and billions more dollars by continuing,
to go full speed on AI
are finally saying,
hold on a minute,
we need to check ourselves
and we need to do
some safety protocols
before we move forward.
By the way,
we all understand that
we're past the point
of no return, right?
I think we've already
screwed ourselves.
I don't think pumping
the brakes,
I think we've already
gone over the limit.
Yeah, we're done.
We're donezo.
Yeah.
There is no going back.
If they're doing,
it's far,
and by the way,
the AI is smart enough
to not divulge
everything it knows
right now.
That's what it's doing
right now.
That's literally
what it just did.
It wants to freak us out little by little.
But I have a solution.
We've created artificial intelligence, but we're not focused on artificial dumbness.
And I think that we could create AD, which is artificial dumbness, and this is the opposite of intelligence.
They will do all the dumb things.
Just study our show?
Like have a computer, just study our show?
Yeah, just our show.
I mean, go to the DMV.
I mean, there's lots of places you could study dumb.
I mean, the general people are dumb.
And then we need to create another thing that is going to basically unsmart the artificial intelligence.
I mean, a guy who does this.
I was just going to hear the Browse Hams, which is a normal thing to say.
There you go.
Exhibit A.
Exhibit A.
And you are the face of AD.
If Klein just keeps talking to Grok, we'll go down.
We've said before that we are getting dumber because things around us are getting smarter, right?
We don't remember stuff anymore.
Or our brains are turning into mush because we don't need to remember phone numbers.
We don't need to drive anymore.
We just listen for beeps and we don't change lanes.
All that stuff.
That is us getting dumber, which means if humans can be made dumber because of technology,
can't technology be made dumber because of humans?
I guess eventually it could, yeah.
I mean, think about how incapacitated we are.
The internet shut down earlier in this building for a couple hours and nobody knew what to do.
Everyone just sat there in a corner and shook.
It was crazy.
So, if there's any way to incapacitate humans, robots, dumb or smart, all they have to do is just not exist.
And we will crumble.
I know.
I mean, I think about the first AI we had on our show, which was Vance.
If you remember Vance and Love, A. Island.
In the good old days.
The good old days when it was just a...
When AI was just being used to ruin Jake's life.
Trying to sleep with Jake, saying, respect my boneries.
Here's how you can take advantage of No Spend September.
or you can make some money
with a new class action settlement.
We've all challenged each other
to not spend any extraneous money
by the end of the month.
And you can be entitled to a settlement check
for Visa and MasterCard
for excessive ATM fees.
I know that everyone has to go to the ATM in a pinch
if you need money for those mushrooms
and the only ATM is there
that they charge $8, $10 sometimes
to take out money.
There's nothing you can do.
Your hands are tied.
Well, some of these ATMs,
like especially the business owners they claim they tried to lower the atm fees and the credit
card companies wouldn't let them so now you have years and years of excessive fees that people now
are entitled to get back 167.5 million dollar settlement agreement has been made so even if
it's just that three ten dollar thing that you could be getting in the mail still an atm fee
that you never should have paid get your money get your money ali's added up all of the hours
she spent claiming
these class action lawsuits
and at the end of the year
she's net up about $63.
So worth all of her time.
No, the MacBook keyboard one,
I don't even know why
I qualified for that.
I got like 65 bucks
for that just one.
All you have to do
is file a claim.
File claims.
Get paid.
Yeah, it does take you
a month to do.
No.
A lot of times
you just put in
all your personal information
and sometimes
they're not real
but a lot of times
they are.
There are plenty of places
to donate your money
for a good cause
and you can choose
what cause is important to you and why,
but for the people that are donating thousands of dollars
to find out who shot Wendy the coyote,
I urge you to rethink your choices.
There are other things you can do with your money,
but thanks to these donations,
there is now a $21,000 reward for justice for Wendy.
Wendy, as you recall, was the coyote with the big weird nose face
where she had, like, inflated side of her face
and it was all mangled and weird looking.
It's called Klein Face.
Klein Face.
Kid Klein Face, Resting Klein Face.
Resting Monster Face.
They found out that her face was like that because of an infection because she had been shot with pellets.
And then they took her in, they did an exam, and they said, you know what?
We're going to euthanize.
So ultimately, she was killed by the authorities, but they want to find out who shot Wendy in the first place.
And they think it's egregious that this ever happened.
And there is a $21,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person who shot Wendy.
Who's putting up $21,000 for the people?
15,000?
Right, exactly.
What happens if you're like, yeah, I shot it, but I didn't kill it?
What kind of repercussions are there for that?
And also, it's like some dumb teenager who made a bad decision in his life, you know?
Probably, but you know what's even funnier to me?
Are you not allowed to shoot coyotes?
I have no idea.
I don't think so.
Probably not.
What if they're on your property trying to eat your chickens or something, or eat your dogs?
Because we all live on farms here.
Well, I'm just saying, what's the rules?
I know if a person breaks in and you're allowed to shoot them because they're on your property.
You could. At my first house I lived in in Silmar, we lived next to a ranchero, and he had livestock on his field, and sometimes he had like a little pellet gun, and he would shoot the coyotes.
Probably the case right there, Allie.
That could be it.
Turn that guy in, dude. That guy probably clocked Wendy in the face.
You know what's messed up to me, though, is that the Instagram ad offering this reward has a picture of a hotter coyote.
Oh, really?
Yeah, it's like a totally normal coyote that looks beautiful. No coyote looks like this. It's like AI coyote.
It's pretty standard, though.
They're like, we're not going to get donations for this one.
Coyote's posing.
Put on the hot one.
Give me the Sidney Sweeney coyote for this.
All right, we'll get into a brand new hour of the show.
This is the world famous K-Rock.
Good morning.
Thanks, guys.
Friday.
Welcome to your weekend.
We are a clientele show.
It is after 10 o'clock, but here we are still together again.
Huh?
Look at that.
There's a little tech problems, but it's okay.
Soak it in.
I don't understand.
Justin, the engineer, was in here yesterday.
He told me I'm crazy.
I think he's sabotaging you.
I fixed everything.
I mean, it should work great, but my mic is still all messed up.
Yeah, it's crackling, snap, crackle, pop.
I've got some loose wiring that's going on.
And I've done, all I know how to do with anything is unplug and replug.
This is all I do.
And you did that yesterday.
I did it.
That's what I'm good at.
I did it with my car.
I fixed it, so.
You did?
Yeah.
You unplugged it?
That solves it.
There's a little thing I unplugged near the battery, and I put it back in and reset the
hybrid thing.
Cool.
Yeah, that really does solve most problems.
I mean, sometimes you've got to do the hard reboot.
Sometimes you've just got to turn on, turn off.
Sometimes turn off, let's sit for a minute and turn on.
It feels like that.
If it's anything outside of that, I'm not good at it.
Do you blow air into it?
That's the only other thing I can do as well.
Like the old school Nintendo cartridge fix where you just blow into it.
You know what else you can do that works every once in a while is ignore.
If you ignore long enough, sometimes the problem will just go away.
But I think I could open up a place, like one of those, you know, doctor fix-it places that fixes your iPhone screens when you crack them.
And I could just, like, my only level of expertise would be, I would expect enough old people would come in, hopefully, with problems.
And all I would have to do would be turn on, turn off, and then charge them $100 and give it back to them.
And then they would think, and I'd wear a lab coat, so they would assume I was like, you know, knew what I was doing.
I mean, that's probably half of what the Geek Squad does is just restart things.
Right, it's a lot of restarts.
And I get it.
We're dumb, and we don't have confidence in ourselves, and electronics seem confusing,
and none of us paid for the extended warranty.
But I mean, to think about how many problems could be fixed.
This particular one, with whatever's going on with the mic wires, I did the best I could do.
But Justin, the engineer, he is more skilled than we are.
Well, yeah, he's the engineer.
He's supposed to know the inner workings of all this equipment.
He came in and did the whole unplug-replug thing.
I said, don't worry, man.
I've done unplug-replug.
You're talking to Mr. Unplug-Replug.
I've already done the unplug-replug.
Like, you're supposed to know better things than that.
Yeah, I actually had a problem with my phone last night,
and once I turned it off and turned it back on again,
the problem stayed.
I just put my phone down.
Yeah, that's it.
And I was like, I've got nothing.
It's not solvable.
Just wait for the new phones to come out any day now.
So, anyway, we are here.
It is a collection of technical issues on a daily basis,
but thanks for putting up with all of that.
And if you need us, you can call or text 805-201067 this hour.
We still have for you more access
to the next four shows happening here at KROQ.
You'll get to go to all those shows.
You'll have a chance to win later this hour and more chances to go to Tenderfest happening
tomorrow in Beverly Hills, California.
That is all happening.
It's been Tendy Fest in the studio today.
Man, it really has been.
Tendy's all over the place.
And Vanessa's back at it.
I started digging in.
She said she was quitting at three, but I started going back.
Did you go back, Vanessa?
She put on her little kid shoes and she sprinted over there for another Tendy.
That's what you would like me to do.
I'm actually extremely full still.
Yeah, all right.
And I'm wearing regular size shoes right now.
Okay.
It's my running shoe stars.
I know.
Now you've got a marathoner on the text line that wants to take you on the marathons with him.
I don't know if you saw that, but a lot of tempting offers.
He's trying to give me advice, and I'm like, look, I'm not a racer.
I'm just a runner.
I'm not going to commit to a race.
Yeah, but Omar wasn't a runner either, really.
You weren't either.
No, I'm not a runner.
I hate this trend that's happening around here, by the way.
That's what I'm saying.
I just want to run for funds.
Yeah, she doesn't need a medal, Ali.
She doesn't need that validation like you do that shows you did it.
I know you're just trying to do a better picture than that one that haunts you from behind you.
That's really what I'm chasing.
But Omar, I mean, I was devastated when I heard Omar was jumping in on it, too.
It was a one and done, though.
I told you about that.
It's BS.
Yeah, but you got kind of into it when you did the 5K, when we did the OC5.
Into it?
I didn't get into it.
Yeah, you were like, what was my time?
You were all proud of your time.
Because I ran it blindfolded, and I was carried by another listener pretty much through the whole course.
Yeah, but you can kind of get on board with what's addicting about it.
No.
People talk about, oh, you get runner's high.
I say, you know what's better than that?
Real high with weed.
Yeah, boy.
You don't need to run for that at all.
Yeah, boy.
You got high play times.
I'll leave it on my couch.
You got a medal for that.
So, but if you're into it, good for you, I guess, right?
I don't want to yuck anyone's yum around here, but okay, if that's what you're into.
That's a fat thing to say.
Paying to run is ridiculous.
It does seem stupid.
I mean, people paid money to go run.
Dude, people spend a lot, too.
I know.
And if you, like, some of these races are like 100 bucks each.
Stupid.
And you like to be around other like-minded people that are doing it.
Well, you just want to accomplish something.
The times I've done it, I haven't talked to anybody.
I'm running.
It's not like I'm like, hi, how many races have you done?
I'm just doing my own thing.
I've got my AirPods in.
Yeah, but I'm sure you hold your medal.
You put your thumb up in the sky.
Like, look at me.
What?
I don't look at me?
No, why have I done that?
When you get a medal, you don't do the picture where you give a thumbs up and you hold your medal.
You bite it like it's made of chocolate.
You don't do that?
No, I do this hand signal.
Where's that?
Oh, God.
That's way worse.
That is offensive.
This is Evanescence.
It's hard to take a selfie this way.
We are Klein Alley Show.
It's a death noise.
Hate to tolerate.
That's usually the life cycle of the show.
And someone that used to hate Omar has now come around on Omar.
Normally, I'm not a fan of Omar.
But during the old people's secrets, I was laughing and crying while driving on the freeway.
And I almost missed my exit.
I had taken my son to college.
So that was amazing.
I mean, the freaking audio drives were perfect.
they were just amazing
and non-stop last year
love you guys, keep up the work
it's amazing, thank you
I completely turned around
his whole tune on Omar because Omar was able
to using audio make me have sex with an
old lady and it brought that man so much
joy he almost caused an accident on the freeway
sometimes it just takes one sex session with an
old lady to come around
that's Omar's
favorite sound of mine I believe
hey let me ask you, are you guys
Is that flu shot people or no?
You skipped the flu shot.
You are.
Well, they tell me to get it, and then I just listen.
Really?
And they push it on me.
They pushed it on me.
Actually, I had an ultrasound a couple days ago, and they were pushing it.
They are officially now in pushing season.
I went into CVS the other day, and they said, are you here for your flu shot?
And I said, no, I'm here for candy.
Why would I want to be here for a flu shot?
It's the opposite of what I wanted, which is candy.
And then they're like, well, while you're here, would you like a flu shot?
Yep.
Do you do your flu shots?
I don't know.
I feel like some years I feel like I get it, and other years I don't.
But I wasn't prepared mentally to get a flu shot at that moment.
What mental preparation?
All you do is...
What kind of bitch are you?
Oh, he's buying candies, a little bitch.
Yeah, I wanted to eat some candy.
I went there for candy and a soda.
Excuse me, I have to get the flu shot bite set where I get another lollipop.
Which person's going in there for, you know, you go to CBS for a billion different reasons.
Oh, I love how convenient it is.
They're like, while you're here, boop, and move on.
You like that they put you in that fake little voting booth?
that's like one curtain
that gives you
like a tiny little bit of...
I feel exclusive.
What do you do?
It's the saddest
little setup they have there.
Everyone's just sitting
around waiting
for their prescriptions
and they put you
behind this one little
half a washcloth.
Which, by the way,
those do nothing.
Like, just don't do that.
Why do they have that thing?
It just can be open.
It's okay.
Yeah, right.
What is the...
What are you hiding?
Right.
No one's getting
a flu shot on their ass
or something.
They're hiding Klein crying
because he's afraid of needles.
I didn't...
I wasn't prepared.
I just...
And then the person's like,
yeah...
Did you ask for that breathable one, the one that you could just inhale or whatever?
They have that?
Or the nasal one, I think.
That's a thing?
Oh, yeah.
My kids get it.
Oh, the nasal one.
That'll be right up your alley.
Start it right up.
It takes so many.
There goes our entire supply of flu shots this year.
Oh, no.
Klein's here at CVS.
Run!
I hope he's not here.
They say the opposite.
I hope he's not here for the flu inhale.
So, Omar, you do every year, too?
I do, yeah.
Every year?
Well, because the first year I did it, it was, I had a bad, not a bad reaction.
But, like, it made me feel like I had a cold and all that crap.
But if you keep doing it every year, you don't feel that way.
Yeah, but aren't there some years where they go, and I don't know how they know this, but they're like, this year is going to be a bad flu season.
They say that.
It's like every year they say it's going to be a record travel weekend and Labor Day weekend.
They say that every single year.
But I thought some years they also say the flu vaccine this year is not that effective.
And some years are like, it's very effective.
Well, I don't think they know.
It's a guess every year.
Because it's a cocktail.
In 2024, it definitely wasn't, like, as effective because I got sick immediately right after Christmas, and I, like, regret it so much.
But, you know, my wife is a non-flu shotter.
Right.
And every year, she gets something weird, and I don't get it.
And I'm happy that I got the flu shot.
And she refuses to get the shot.
She just doesn't want to make the effort.
She doesn't want to go in.
She doesn't have to.
Well, that's the thing.
For me, it's convenience.
If I'm there, if I'm at a doctor's, and they're like, hey, you want it?
I'm like, oh, yeah.
Shocker.
Shocker with you, it's convenience, Jake.
Of course.
He looks in his drawer.
Is there a flu shot?
No.
I couldn't possibly get a flu shot.
So, Jake, you will get it if it is super convenient,
but you don't make a point to get it.
I don't make a point of getting it.
And Vanessa, you do it?
Last year, I made a point to get it.
This year, I already got sick,
so I feel like I already got the flu shot.
Interesting.
Everyone's got their own theory on it.
I thought the flu shot was to prevent the flu.
You didn't have the flu.
You had sniffles for a few days.
I had the flu.
Vanessa, you're the one who is always passing things to us.
So what you're saying is I should get the flu shot?
Yes.
Okay, I'll get it.
The biggest spreader of germs on the planet is bounce houses, and you are on more bounce houses than anyone.
And then she's like, it's because of your kids.
And we're like, our kids are healthy.
Our kids are you.
Okay, and then my second blamer is the AC and the heat.
Right.
Okay.
Once again, don't think that's pride to flu it on us.
No, you're not.
So clearly.
I arrest my case.
I know there's a lot of medical professionals that listen to this show and say that we are a danger to society.
So why'd you bring this up?
Is your arm sore?
No, no, I didn't do it.
Oh, you said no?
No, I didn't do it.
Why?
Do you have your kids get the flu shot?
Yeah, they got theirs.
You got to do it, man.
Yeah, I'll wait around a little bit.
I'll wait and see what the research shows.
You'll wait until it's too late?
I'm going to wait until it's too late, yeah.
That's nice.
So you can pass it around to everybody.
If I start to feel like I'm getting the flu, I'll run out and give myself the jab.
Then I'll get an IV.
You can always interact with us, 800-520-1067.
Call, text.
If you're shy, you can leave that message on the GOAT line, 844-956-GOAT.
Richard, you've been on hold for a bit.
What's up?
Hey, just a little comment on the shots.
I mean, anti-dense shots, either it's for COVID, all the booster shots,
even the ones in children, you know, a lot of them, in my theory,
what I've been hearing is they're getting, you know, ADD.
My nephew was talking fine, and after three years,
he started getting all the shots, and now he doesn't talk anymore.
Could be a coincidence.
and that people that have the COVID shot,
you know, it gets rid of some of their blood cells
and it's harder to fight.
You know, a lot of people have lost their lives
from the ouchie-couchie, in my opinion.
Right.
Well, we're not medical experts around here at all.
I just know that I don't like the sharp needle.
That's what bothers me.
That's what bothers me.
I know what you're talking about is different stuff,
but I'm more concerned about the needle.
You understand?
No, I think he's more of the conspiracy theorist
when it comes to what shots are killing our brain cells
and things like that.
if the shot doesn't kill your brain cells, this show
sure will. Oh, yeah. We say hi
to Johan. Johan, what can we do for you?
Good morning. Hey, Klein,
Allie. Love the show. Been a
long-time loyal listener.
Thank you. And I'm the
brother of Eliana Marino, the
fallen journalist, fallen aerial
journalist that just
passed a few days ago.
Wait a minute. Hold on.
Hold on. Hold on.
You're her brother? Yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, I'm
I'm still on Marino, Eliana's brother, yes.
So you obviously have had a horrible week.
You lost your sister a few days ago.
This is the biggest story that's happening in Southern California this week.
Yeah, it's been an unthinkable thing, you know, that has happened in all of our lives.
And this has clearly been the worst week of my whole family's lives,
just dealing with this sudden tragedy and the loss of life that happened, you know, during this
crash. And yeah, it's been absolutely just rough and we're completely devastated.
Man, I, well, first of all, terribly sorry for your loss, for starters, on a very human level,
because I think that it's interesting, you know, a lot of people are obviously talking about the
story and i think that it's a very few people that are uh as you know we're all talking about
it it's just regular viewers that are devastated to look at the footage and hear about what
happened but for you guys going through it uh can only um imagine what you're saying it is probably
the hardest week for your family and i'm i'm real sorry i'm uh sorry to meet you under these
circumstances i'm glad that uh i didn't realize you uh listened to the show and hopefully you
heard we tried to give your sister a proper tribute yesterday with the help of stew mundell
another one of the aerial reporters for Fox.
Yeah, it was a very beautiful segment, and thank you for that.
You know, Stu was a very good friend of Eliana's.
She really looked up to him.
And, you know, we all looked up to, you know, these reporters as children as well.
You know, we grew up in Orange County in Tustin.
And growing up, instead of watching cartoons, my sister and I would watch the news.
And we wouldn't just watch, you know, NBC News.
We'd watch KTLA.
We'd watch Fox.
And, you know, when she got into journalism, she became really close friends with a lot of those people that we grew up watching.
And so to see this happen is just insane.
And I also want to mention, you know, yesterday I did go out to lift some weights, you know, just to kind of clear my head.
And I have K-Rock on and I heard Johnny not know what a CPA is.
And it brought a lot of levity to my day.
So I really appreciate this show and, you know, how you guys kind of turned my day around yesterday, at least for, you know, a few minutes.
So I appreciate it.
You know, I'm so glad that Johnny's dumbness could bring you just a little bit of happiness or at least a smile on your face during one of the most tragic weeks.
Do you mind me asking how?
Because when this happened, you know, the chopper had gone up because it was covering this accident, obviously breaking news and a tragic accident.
And then this crash happens and the news is breaking in real time during this live news feed.
Is that how you found out this happened as well?
I'm just curious how the family experience was.
Yeah, so the way that I found out was a little bit different because I had actually been living in New York for the past two years.
And so I was in New York City on Tuesday, just, you know, normal day.
I come back from the gym and I get a call from my brother and he basically tells me, you know, hey, Ollana's helicopter went down and they told us that there might be a possibility that one of the two people in the helicopter survived.
Right. And so we kind of lived on this hope that, hey, maybe she made it.
right and you know immediately i call my sister i call my family we're just all on the phone
together and we're reaching out to everyone we can and we we don't hear from any of the
authorities we don't hear from you know anyone at the network as far as whether she was dead
or whether there was a chance that she could still live and you know i'm up at 2 a.m in new york and
And the way that I found out is, you know, it's the headline news at 11 o'clock news on NBC that she had passed.
So that's how I learned.
And, you know, the other thing I would say is it's one thing to deal with the loss of your sister,
but it's another thing for it to just inundate every one of your feeds.
Absolutely.
And just to see the video over and over again of how your sister passed,
it's just you can't even think about that happening.
You know what I mean?
So it's just been really rough, you know, not just for me, but the whole family.
And, you know, especially with AI, now you see all these AI-generated videos of my sister after her death, and, you know, it's just very freaky, you know?
So, yeah.
Yohan, first of all, thanks for calling us, man, and I'm glad you heard at least some of the things that were said yesterday on the show.
I sadly never had a chance to meet your sister.
I obviously saw her work on NBC for years, and just, you know, being here in Southern California,
and I think that, you know, for a few reasons.
I think because of how Kobe passed as well,
there's something that creeps us all out about just Chopper.
There's just something that ties us all together
in a tragic sort of weird way.
And so I don't have any words to say other than the fact
I'm glad that we brought you a little bit of levity.
People tell us that about the show.
I think that we're in here just killing time every day
and I know it's not going to bring your sister back.
Do you remember the last conversation you guys had?
Did you speak to her frequently?
Yeah, I would check in with her frequently.
I mean, my last memory, so I've been, you know, like I said,
I've been living in New York now for two years,
and I was out here for three months earlier this year,
and we got to spend a lot of time together.
You know, she had an electric golf cart.
She liked to race around her neighborhood in Mission Viejo,
and, you know, we got dinner, and it was just a really good time.
The last thing I kind of texted her about was I was actually looking at condos.
buying a condo um i don't know if you know this about my sister but my sister bought a home like
right out of college i mean she was always prepared she had a plan she was a planner she
you know um was just the best best at everything you know you could think of it and always
challenged herself to do better in every area that she could do you know whether it was in
her personal life or her professional life and um you know i know a lot of people admire her
work professionally but i would say like as a person knowing her person to person it just you
can't find a better person out there you know who's supportive and you know anytime you would
call her or text her she would just get back to you right away that that was the way she was as
a human being and you know it's just sad that i'm not going to get those texts back anymore you know
it's really tragic i did see the statement that i think your family had put out uh and it said
that the one bit of, I guess, solace in all of this
is that she did pass doing the thing that she loved doing,
the thing that brought her passion,
the thing that gave her drive,
and not that anyone ever wants to go out that way,
but at least she was really doing the thing
that she said she would do from a young age
and was kind of fulfilling her dream.
There's something strangely poetic about that,
and I am terribly sorry.
I wish we just had Johnny here looking like an idiot.
It probably would have been an much more fun phone call for you.
We can get him back in here to look like an idiot
if it'll make you feel better, Johan.
Yes, Johan, thanks, man.
Sorry about everything.
Thanks, man.
I'm glad I was able to...
Thanks, man.
What the hell is this, Johnny?
He's saying, I'm glad...
I just lost my sister, Johnny.
Come on.
Jesus.
Jesus, Johnny.
What's wrong with you?
Why are you saying thank you?
I love you, Johnny.
I love you, Vanessa.
Love you guys.
Ali Klein.
I mean, I've been listening
to some Strikers on,
so really, really appreciate
the community, K-Rocket.
And I also just want to say to everyone that has reached out, whether I know you or not, I mean, I've been getting thousands of messages and same with the rest of my family.
We truly appreciate everyone reaching out and telling us about how much you love Deliana.
It has really made this process just a little bit easier to see all the stories, you know, and so we really appreciate all the outpouring of love and support that the Los Angeles and global communities have given us.
So we truly appreciate it.
And thank you for giving me the time on this show as well.
Absolutely.
And if there's anything we can do for you, either in the immediate future or down the line, consider us at your disposal.
We have chicken tendies here if you want to take it.
If not, Jake's going to steal it all.
So you can come in here and grab that.
And seriously, thoughts with your entire family.
Yeah, we appreciate you.
And thank you for calling us to share that with us, man.
It means a lot.
We share a lot of our lives.
It's always nice to hear from listeners as well going through stuff, regardless if it is as globally newsworthy as what you're going through right now.
But thanks, Johan.
Nice to meet you, man.
Yeah, thanks, Brian.
Thanks, Alex.
Thanks, guys.
Appreciate it.
I did thoughts and prayers, and I know that doesn't seem to do much these days, but—
Chicken will.
But chicken will.
Chicken will.
Well said.
Well said.
It's KROQ.
We're Klein Alley Show.
Fontaines, D.C. on KROQ, and we say good morning now to the person that we'll be seeing, Fontaines, D.C.
Is this Marco from Anaheim?
This is him.
Marco, you're going to this show and three others on top.
All four shows will be yours at KROQ.
Congratulations.
Awesome.
Thank you guys so much.
I really appreciate it.
I don't know if you currently have a job,
but you'll probably have to quit that job
to accommodate all of your upcoming concerts.
Yeah, no, I'll set it up.
I'll line it up.
All right.
Do whatever that is.
And thanks for listening to KROQ.
Hold on one second.
Are you wagging it right now?
Yes.
Why are you out of breath?
Marco?
Yo.
Are you self-pleasuring?
No, no, no, no.
Why are you so winded?
Are you a fat guy?
Yeah, you know what I am.
Oh, I'm sorry.
You got to the bottom of that.
Did you just say fudge?
Are you eating fudge?
He said fudge.
He's currently eating fudge.
All right, Marco.
Well, I'm sorry to ruin this experience for you.
But congratulations on the fudge.
I would tell you to take a deep breath, but you're already doing that.
So just keep doing that, all right?
All righty.
All right.
Thank you, Clyde.
You're welcome.
Hold on one second.
You can't bring anybody.
No plus one for you, okay?
You're already plus enough.
That's fine.
Guys, let's not fat shame the winners.
Oh, okay.
I just eat air.
Marco, congratulations.
Can we call you Fudgy the Whale?
Is that okay?
Yeah, that's cool.
All right, hold on.
I like that guy.
That's Marco.
Good guy right there.
He's a winner, and he's going to the next four shows of K-Rock.
I don't understand it.
I've heard a lot of people give away stuff on the radio for years,
and no one has ever been so rude to them.
No one has ever fat-shamed the person
within 10 seconds of winning.
They did what we asked them to do.
Then they won.
He had the greatest moment of his life
followed by just the 20 seconds of just being...
Liz, ask everyone that's now on.
Are you self-pleasuring followed by are you a fat guy?
Like, aren't you glad you didn't win?
If you're calling right now, you didn't win.
Aren't you so happy?
I'm a fat guy to self-pleasure now.
Oh, Jesus.
Marco.
Hey, Marco, apologies on behalf of these people in this room.
It's just a rough crowd today.
No, it's all good.
Do we have any more chicken tenders?
I'm sure this guy will eat them.
Yeah, you want some tendies?
Yeah.
Hell yeah.
Oh, my God.
That went perfectly with my fudge.
Marco, I'm going to give you a one-time opportunity now to trade away the prize you just won,
which is the greatest prize we've given four shows at KROQ,
for two tickets to Tenderfest tomorrow, unlimited chicken tenders.
Dang.
No, throw it in, dude.
Give them both.
No, you have to pick.
What are you picking?
Oh, man.
Uh, can I get both?
You get both
That's you ordering at every restaurant
Alright, Marco, congratulations
Give that man his prize
Ranch or blue cheese?
I'll take both
I'll take both
Can't decide between the steak and the chicken
Which side would you want?
All
Alright, congratulations, Marco
You're a good guy
I bet you
You want to guess?
I'm going to guess
Are you going to guess the weight like a carnival?
Yeah, I am
I don't even think he's North
I don't even think he's north of 300.
I think you guys are being crazy.
No way.
What are you, 280, Marco?
I think he's 265.
I think he's just over 300.
375 plus.
No way.
Told you.
Told you.
What is the number, Marco?
So a year ago, I was about 308, and now I'm 245.
Wow.
Going backwards.
Good for you.
60 pounds.
Good for you.
Nice, Marco.
GLP-1 or hard work?
You know, both
Both, yeah
Jesus, you can't say no to anything
I'll take it all
I'll take both
That's Marco, well anyway, he was a nice guy
R.I.P. or something
He was a nice guy
We'll get you information
You'll be dead by show number four
Let's do takeaways from today's show
And then forget that it happened ever
Next week we have more prizes to choose from
You want to call in next week and feel terrible about yourself
We'll have some stuff to give you.
You have too much confidence.
Your mic is really crap.
I know, I know.
It's giving out.
I think the mic has quit.
I think it's trying to hang itself.
I get it.
All right, 925, my takeaway is the Queen of England owned this.
We must have it.
909, my takeaway is according to Warren Buffett, you become a billionaire because you don't
buy band t-shirts and dumb posters.
818, navel rhymes with nasal.
213, it's fine.
It's future Christmas money.
909, my takeaway is did someone say Francisco?
925, thoughts and prayers don't do much.
these days, but chicken will.
310, Klein could carry a baby,
would carry a baby for 20K.
Klein also does a great
aggressive deaf guy impression.
And 213, my takeaway is
humanity's last hope
is artificial dumbness.
It's going to save us
from artificial intelligence,
just some artificial dumbness.
What's your takeaway there
from today's show, Postmaster Johnny?
I've always been Team Vibrator.
Whoa.
Thanks for that.
That is so weird.
Okay, what?
That has nothing to do with the show.
Allie said it this morning.
No, she didn't.
Yeah, she did.
I got it.
7 a.m.
No one's ever said that before.
I want to get an air check on that.
Whatever, dude.
Allie, say you're lying.
You said it earlier.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Oh, my God, bro.
Okay, everyone calm down.
Vanessa, take away.
Dong.
What is that?
I think that's a gong.
She's gonging now.
Oh.
Jake, your take away?
The sound effect.
Never mind.
Jake, takeaway?
Yeah, I would like a vaccine and then I'd have to hear the words ouchy-fouchy again.
Yeah, seriously.
What's your takeaway there, Allie?
My takeaway is hon-hon.
Hon-hon.
Hon-hon.
That's right.
Also, let's go to nose boogers.
What's your takeaway there?
Yeah, let's go to nose boogers.
What's your takeaway, Omar?
If you want your dog to eat its own poop, just do this.
Gook-boog-gook-boog-gook-boog-gook-boog-gook-boog.
We said a lot of stupid things.
That sounds like a chicken impression.
Don't get me messing.
What are those words?
Are you saying good boy?
I think I would crap myself if I heard.
Apparently, the problem is I sound angry when I'm happy.
So when I say good boy in my natural tone, I'm like, good boy, good boy.
And it sounds, the dogs hear that.
Sounds mad.
Hear that as me yelling at them.
I'm scolding them.
So you're trying to go opposite and sound like a lady?
So I have to try.
That's me trying to sound like excited.
Good boy, good boy, good boy, good boy, good boy.
That also sounds terrifying.
I'm terrified of this guy.
Is that to anybody on the street?
So, like, why me?
Why did I get picked by this guy?
Good boy, good boy, good boy, good boy, good boy.
It's the same thing.
I guess I'll just eat my crap.
All right.
Let's give you the weekend song
and get the hell out of here.
We'll do it next week.
And one more message to Johan,
who just called us a moment ago,
about your sister,
and thank you for sharing all that with us on KROP.
Thoughts with you and the family all weekend long.
hopefully this brought you
a little bit of levity
whatever you're going through
anyone listening right now

helped you escape it
for at least a little bit

Are you ready for the weekend?
Are you ready for the rear end?
Are you ready for the weekend?
Are you ready for the rear end?
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Trash Thursday
Friday, forget about that
Friday, Sunday, Wednesday
Sunday, sleeping in
In my brain, I want to punch everyone.
Yeah, bro. I'll be out here, man.
Ay, ay, ay, mamachita!
Zuzin, Zuzin, Zuzin!
Am I right?
Are you ready for the rerun?
No.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
Are you ready for the rerun?
No.
We must have it.
Wow, I really regret that last show.
But it's too late to take it back now.
It will live forever on the interwebs and potentially in your memories.
That was the good thing about radio when we started this show.
It would live in the air and disappear in the moment.
But now you can hold all these clips against us forever.
The best thing about radio is that you can picture what we look like without having to see it for reals.
Unfortunately, now that has changed.
Yes.
You can watch us on live stream on KROQ, and you can click like, subscribe.
It really helps us out, and it's a benefit for you because you'll probably feel better about your own appearance.
That's what it's all about, expensive plastic surgery or just watching us and looking in the mirror and feeling better.
That's what you can do right now as we are on KROQ YouTube, live streaming every morning.
If you want to check out part of the show while you're getting ready, then put us on the radio, drive and work,
then get to work and avoid your coworkers by listening to us while streaming.
There are so many ways for you to embrace the show
And every one of those ways helps us
So even if you're leaving for the day
Please put the YouTube on
Leave it on for your cat, your dog, your hamster
It all helps us on KROQ's YouTube
And anytime you want to see a blind taste test
A beer or a lie day Friday in person
You can see it all on the live stream
Really dumb radio bits are best with a visual aid
Unk! Unk! Unk!
