Starting point is 00:00:00 We'll get into an episode of Klein Alley Show in just a moment, but in the meantime, let's tell you about our absolute favorite place on the planet. Yep, that would be San Bernardino International Airport, where you can go through the airport process without waiting in long lines and overpaying for parking. Quick connections to the Bay Area and the world, plus ski and snowboard in Provo from San Bernardino all winter long. Every other airport, you're going to be in long TSA lines, you're going to be miserable, you're going to say, oh, I got to get there two, three hours before my flight.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Not at San Bernardino International Airport. And now we send you on a direct flight into our podcast, which starts right now. Hey, what's going on, Clown and Allie? Are you ready? We're back. I love Clown and Allie, you little bitch. Clown and Allie, it's just okay. Just don't let things bother you too much.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Good morning, everybody. Hey, what up, Clown and Allie? Whoa, sweet divot steak, did you see that? We have a Clown and Allie show. Let's get this show started. The show started. The show started. We are live in Los Angeles!
Starting point is 00:01:00 Three, two, one! And here we go. It's Klein Ali Show. Low 6.7, KROQFM in HD Pasadena, Los Angeles, Orange County. The Sonic Pulse of Los Angeles. This is the world famous KROQ. Our new show can officially begin. Good morning, welcome to our Thursday.
Starting point is 00:01:22 The Frequent is here. We are a Klein Alley show. And if you need us, phones, text line, everything's the same as yesterday, 800-520-1067. You'll leave those numbers if you want to win access to the next four shows happening at the In-N-Out Burger Soundspace here at K-Rock, which will include some Fontaine's D.C., Paradox, and more. So win your way into those shows coming up a little bit later this morning and Tenderfest happening on Saturday.
Starting point is 00:01:44 We get you in if you want unlimited chicken tenders from all the best chicken tender places in L.A. We'll make that happen for you this morning as well. and the return of Generation Wars. Bragging rights for your entire generation. A lot of pressure, and that's happening this morning. Just because today's a new show, Allie, doesn't mean that the controversy doesn't continue from yesterday. And this was, I guess, as a result of the...
Starting point is 00:02:05 People were heated yesterday about a lot of different things. So many things, but I think people were the most heated about the petty claims court battle that they're still yapping about now, and it really sucks to lose publicly to your wife on the radio and have her rub it in your face all day from the moment you get home until the first thing this morning where she's just reading DMs coming through being like, girl, I heard you. You're speaking my language.
Starting point is 00:02:25 The man's a hoarder, so is mine. Yeah, it was just so annoying. And then luckily, there's one guy that half defended me on the goat line. Hi, it's Gen X Deuce. Okay, Klein and his wife. You're both right and you're both wrong. A, food expires, don't eat mold and stuff.
Starting point is 00:02:41 But she said trinkets. That means does not understand value. My wife says Tringus and Chachkis, too. She calls my Joe DiMaggio rookie card worth $1,000 a Chachki and throw it away. So understand value, but also understand mold. Thank you. Understand value, understand mold. We get it.
Starting point is 00:03:01 And I'm not talking about eating moldy food. That's what Allie does. I would never do that. I'm talking about... Cut off the mold. It's totally fine. I'm talking about things, right, that have no value to her, she assumes have no value. Well, but there's things to her that are valuable that don't have any value to you, like shoes and clothes.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Right, but she would argue those have real-world value. They have no value to me, and I'm saying if she's going to go ahead and, like, for instance, this guy brought up, you know, the Joe DiMaggio rookie card he has that's worth thousands of dollars. To her, she sees it and goes, that's taking up space. Throw it out. I mean, it's taking up hardly ever any space. Well, it's not taking up any space. You can put it in your pocket.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Right, I get it. It takes very little space. It's taking up space in your pocket. But for some reason, that's a whole thing. You order. She called a Joe DiMaggio rookie card a chopstick or a trinket. I mean, that's not that. I do understand, after hearing the inner workings of your fridge, why you guys have roaches.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Okay. It kind of makes sense now. Nothing to do with the roaches. I mean, it seems like there's just old food everywhere. It's not old. Once again, not old food. In fact, yesterday, I cracked one of those racks of ribs that I got from Stanley at the Honey Baked Ham. And at the end of the rack of ribs, there was about four ribs left.
Starting point is 00:04:06 So, they're on a plate. How many racks of ribs do you have left in the fridge? I brought another one in today for us. This is a brand new, unopened rack of ribs. I have another rack. I brought a rack. How many packs are those? I ate through one yesterday.
Starting point is 00:04:19 But at the end of the meal, what would you do, Allie, if there's four ribs left on a plate? What is your move? What is your move? I sleep with them. All right. Well, that's the answer. She moved the plate into the sink with the four ribs on the plate. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:04:34 I know. That you do not do. Right. This is my point. Leftovers. And I've trained my wife. Where were you guys yesterday? If there is anything left on the plate.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Well, because that example wasn't given. It's that. She gave a bagel with cream cheese example. where a 24-hour-old bagel with cream cheese was put in your kid's lunch the next day. That's gross. Right, that was a true story, and that's damning evidence to me, sure,
Starting point is 00:04:51 but the reality is what happened last night is more what I'm talking about, where there's a plate, there's four ribs, she sees it on the table, anyone going to finish this? I feel like there's something else to this story, that if we called her, she would have a different version of this.
Starting point is 00:05:02 There's nothing else to this story. Well, she would probably say, if I put it in a container, it'll just sit there and rot. Right, exactly. She would say, no one's going to eat it tomorrow because he's making everyone eat breakfast for dinner, So let's get the ribs, and then it's the weekend.
Starting point is 00:05:16 And then you're going to put a giant rack of ribs in your kid's lunch four days from now. That's right. How does every kid love a rack of ribs in their lunch? That's such a big lunch for a kid. Give them the whole rack. No PB&J. Yeah, just eat your ribs, kids, and shut up. That's what I say.
Starting point is 00:05:28 It's the guy from the office. If you want Allie's money, you'll have a chance to take it from her in moments. And it's always sweet when you take El Cheapo's money on a thrifty Thursday. Call now. We'll get into that in moments on KROG. break him up. Allie's got money, at least for now,
Starting point is 00:05:42 but that could be yours and all you gotta do is call and claim it. The number is 800-520-1067. She's working on the next batch of ADD news, but of course, if you can beat her,
Starting point is 00:05:51 five questions, you get her money and she gets angry and she usually yells at you and calls us a bunch of stupid assholes. But aside from that... If I lose unfairly,
Starting point is 00:05:59 if I lose fairly, I'm happy to take the L. So if you'd like to call and claim it, all you gotta do is know a thing or two about what's happening in the world
Starting point is 00:06:05 and give us a call and we get you on the air and you get to battle Allie. We are still in recovery from our siesta fiesta yesterday, which I wish had more siesta. Instead, it was a lot more fiesta. And here's just a quick recap if you couldn't make it out. Maybe you make the next one based on what you hear right here.
Starting point is 00:06:19 What's up, Clarence Alley? It's the Boilock Bros. Man, what a day. Descansa was a blast. All the listeners, all the K-Rock staff, Aaron, Emery, Justin, the engineer, Ivan, the engineer, Cody Black, Miles and DJ, George, Mike Olsen, sales lady Becky, sales lady Jamie, and our boys, Sammy and Becky. These are just all people that actually work here.
Starting point is 00:06:51 They're just going over the list of all the people they met. And for guys that drink a ton, I mean, I'm talking about, you know, 30 Bud Lights per session. Oh, great memory recall. Way better than mine. It's unbelievable. I didn't know how. There's three of those guys. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:03 By the way, most of the names they just said are people that I know they work here. I do not know who they are. I don't know. The first two names they mentioned, I have no idea what they're talking about. But regardless, they were there. Man, fun times, and it was just a blast. But then something magical happened. We ran into Jake the Nerd and asked if we could drink a couple beers with him in the Nerd Home, and he said yes.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Man, we got to see the back office, the kitchen, the K-Rock studio with Sluggo in there. Man, we felt like Make-A-Wish kids. I want a dream come true. So Jake gave these guys their ultimate fantasy, brought them back, I guess, after the hang. They came back to K-Rock, and they did some drinking in the nerd hole with Jake. There's no way that Jake and both of those guys all fit in that room. They did. All three of you?
Starting point is 00:07:57 Yeah, easy. I don't think easy. What was that stank like? Oh, God. I didn't smell nothing. It's funny you mentioned the stank because the Bud Light Bros did bring up the stank of the Nerd Hall. And we even got to see old man Jim, Surfer Jay, Ricky Dorely, and Kevin Weaver. Kevin Weaver is the boss, and they did hit up the boss for a job here, and that was an interesting conversation, supposedly.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I even asked him for a job. He said no. Hey but real quick Why do you guys say Jake's narwhal stinks It smelled fine When we were in there Sometimes you don't
Starting point is 00:08:36 Understand your own smell Well and if you're so Drunk too That you can't I think there's A thing with Drunk goggles With your nose too
Starting point is 00:08:43 Yeah And Jake loves Bringing the Bud Light Bros Into the inner Inner inner Most inner circle I mean he'll bring them
Starting point is 00:08:49 Into anything Anything we're doing He just Jake rolls around With the Bud Light Bros And while we're at it Bring back a segment Jake's band is better than yours
Starting point is 00:08:58 Yeah, he has good taste in music We were jamming out in there And the cat today Yeah, I mean, think about it It didn't smell and the music he played was good They were not in Jake's nerd hole And the cat today, we went downstairs And drank in Sammy's office
Starting point is 00:09:14 That is great I love that Sammy's like, yeah, come on down here The Bud Light Bros came into K-Rock And just went around drinking in all of the different offices here Which is wild Man, what a day to remember Hashtag grow the show
Starting point is 00:09:31 Be the client of the show Bud Light Bros It is what it is We did it, love you guys Glad you had a good time, thanks for stopping by By the way, I hope they do put a demo together And give it to us And we can critique it and possibly pass it along to KW
Starting point is 00:09:46 KW definitely said no But then said make me a tape Make me a demo I would love for you to do that Bud Light Bros That would be fantastic and then we would find out that we've lost our morning show to the Bud Light Bros
Starting point is 00:09:58 that will be taking over. Oh, man. Good morning, everybody. Ricky Darling, 714-562. I would listen to that. I would listen, too. Can I get a job, Bud Light Bros? Come on, keep us around.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yeah, we better get in on this. Hey, get your nerdy stuff out of this hole. This is the beer hole now. We've got to take a break. We'll get back in a moment with five questions about the news. If you do better than Ali,
Starting point is 00:10:18 you get paid real money, so call now, 800-520-1067. That is next. For fighters on your KROQ, We are Klein Alley Show. Every morning, we'll give you opportunities to win stuff from us, like tickets or access or chicken tenders.
Starting point is 00:10:29 And this morning, you get the opportunity to win an extra $100 from Alley. Right now, we say hi to Susanna listening to us in Long Beach from the LBC. Good morning, Susanna. Hi, good morning. Good morning. If you are smarter, at least a little smarter than Alley, you will have the opportunity to leave here $100 richer as she leaves the K-Rock Studios.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Alley's out wearing her patent-pending lesbian flannel today. These flannels are getting bigger. Now she looks like Paul Bunyan. She's all done up. As a blanket. Allie's going to go chop a couple trees down. She'll be back in here in a moment. Actually, she looks more like his ox, to be completely honest.
Starting point is 00:11:06 She's out. Your round will officially begin. Here we go. Allie knows the news. Baldwin Park man, nicknamed Monster, has admitted to stealing what all over Los Angeles? uh flock cameras what was he stealing flock cameras flock cameras we got a question number two gavin newsom has uh passed a new bill that is called the jay leno law what exactly is the jay Leno Law.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Car emissions. Car emissions. We go to question number three. Oh, Jake's calling shenanigans. Answer these questions quicker. This Starbucks cup specifically is now reselling for hundreds of dollars on eBay. You need an answer. Snoopy.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Snoopy. That was quick. No shenanigan call there. Question number four. Thursday Night Football is back, baby. Here we go. Name one of the two teams playing tonight. Lions.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Lions. That was a guess. Good one. And finally, question number five. Speaking of football, this NFL player has officially been announced as being involved in a $35 million Ponzi scheme. I haven't. Three, two, one.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I don't know, I guess. That's no answer. That's all right. You got a few right. Maybe enough to take Allie's money. If you're up for the challenge, tomorrow is a $500 Friday, so I recommend you definitely call tomorrow to play the game because it's way more profitable for you.
Starting point is 00:12:54 And reentering now from out there chopping wood, here she is. Nothing like smelling the mountain air in the morning. Allie Bunyan. Question number one, Allie. A Baldwin Park man, nicknamed Monster, has admitted to stealing what all over Los Angeles? Gosh, I guess I'm just going to go with copper wire again. I feel like that's the thing. This man has gone old school.
Starting point is 00:13:18 He is a good old-fashioned mail thief. Oh, cool. He's been stealing mail. Mail phishing? And taking stuff from the USPS. What's in the mail, dude? Just a bunch of junk mail. Excuse me, I got a settlement check for $33 the other day.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Every once in a while. Wait, they sent a physical check? Yeah. What the hell? You got to check that mail, dude. Something's in the mail. This guy knows. Something's in the mail.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Something's in the mail. There's something there. We found it. This guy found it. There's gold in the mails. I feel like Monster is a terrible nickname for a guy because he sounds like, you know, he's stealing body parts from a cemetery or something. And he's just stealing, like, valve pack savings.
Starting point is 00:13:52 He's stealing mail. Oh, no. My coupons for Vons. Was taken by Monster. Question number two. Allie's up. Nope. No one's up.
Starting point is 00:14:02 It's zero, zero. We got a question, too. Gavin Newsom has passed a law that is called the Jay Leno Law. What is the Jay Leno Law about? Yes, I know. I saw the story, but I haven't read about the law. Is it how many cars you can own? Ali said how many cars you can own.
Starting point is 00:14:19 That's an interesting law. Well, because he has a ton of cars, right? Yeah, but it's not about that. I'll tell you who kind of got it right. She didn't really give us details, but... Who kind of got it right? Well, Susanna said about emissions. And the law is about emissions, specifically on classic cars, that they don't necessarily have to get the same smog standards as modern cars.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Specifically ones from like the mid-70s through the mid-80s, where emissions were known, gave an F. Johnny was saying that the engineer, Justin, is excited about this. Yeah, and Johnny's got the Gay Leno Law. So he has that car line podcast. Right, oh right, right, exactly, yeah. It's a big deal, the car community. I don't know, if anyone cares that much about the Gay Leno or the Jay Leno Law, they're probably rich, because they have extra cars. Right, Gay Leno?
Starting point is 00:15:00 You know. He knows what we're saying. She gets the point. She goes up 1-0 on you, Allie. So we go to question number three now. This Starbucks cup is now reselling for hundreds of dollars on eBay. Is it that honey bear cup? No, no.
Starting point is 00:15:14 That's old school. No one's talking about that trash anymore. I'll tell you who got it right. Susanna, who said the Snoopy Starbucks cup. Oh, yes. So now she's up two on you with two questions left. Oh, God. Oh, I suck at this.
Starting point is 00:15:27 Allie is about to get rocked in her own world. Go to question number four. Thursday night football. Ah. It's back. Name one of the two teams playing tonight. Bills. The Bills is correct.
Starting point is 00:15:39 I'll tell you the other team playing. The Detroit Lions. You know who said that? No. Susanna said that. Susanna, you have help there? I hear you have a cheering squad in the background. Yeah, this is my boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:15:51 What is going on here? She sounds excited. The last time I lost, there was a guy who was clearly cheating. And now she's got somebody helping her, and you're just going to let this happen? There's no problem. Her boyfriend's got to help. There's no problem? Did he help?
Starting point is 00:16:04 You said, are you getting help? And she just giggled. Yeah, that's right. That's not a mission to guilt. What kind of standards do we have here? Do I have help? Is anyone helping me? No, but if you're professional help, you're getting a lot of it.
Starting point is 00:16:16 I need it. Yep, but this woman's just having a good time with her boyfriend, listening to the show. Well, good for you, Suzette, whatever your stupid name is. Damn. Whatever. final question and I don't think it matters anymore
Starting point is 00:16:32 because I think Allie's just officially lost speaking of NFL this player has just been announced as one of the many
Starting point is 00:16:39 people that was involved in a 35 million dollar Ponzi scheme yes Travis Kelsey she didn't get that one Allie's on the board so Allie got back
Starting point is 00:16:47 within one but it doesn't really matter at the end of it all Susanna wow you have done it what are you going to do
Starting point is 00:16:54 with that extra 100 bucks you and your boyfriend Yay, I'm so excited Geez, not every day someone wins Allie, what must you shamefully admit over the airwaves of K-Rock? Go ahead My name is Paul Bunyan
Starting point is 00:17:05 And oh Susanna, you have won Congratulations Hold on one second And claim your money, Allie Let's go ahead and write her that check How much money did you just get from $33.68 You're down more than that
Starting point is 00:17:19 We are a Klein Allie show When you need us, we're here for you live right now But if we're not around and you need that goat line And you can use that. That number is 844-956-GOAT. I watched that Jake mess up for a third time at the top of dark on YouTube. And it's so funny. Jake, you're such an idiot.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Listen, listen, listen. Jake felt the need to interrupt the show yesterday by saying, listen. And then when we listened to him, he had nothing to say. And then a lot of people have called about this. It's bringing people so much joy that they're re-watching it for the third time. This guy's talking about re-watching our live stream, which happens apparently in the evening as well. Not so much live, but it is Klein Alley Show After Dark,
Starting point is 00:18:00 which I didn't even know was happening, but apparently people are enjoying it. Oh, hi, hi, morning crew. So y'all were making fun of Jake for cutting in and stammering over his words on yesterday's show. I think, Omar, you need to find an audio clip to play over Jake,
Starting point is 00:18:17 because he sounds exactly like the aliens from Mars attack. And he sounds just like it. So next time he starts stammering, just lay over him with that. Good luck, Jake. Bye. For those of you that missed the moment, I have it for you right now. You've got to listen back. We're going to listen back to it.
Starting point is 00:18:41 I think that Jake may officially now pass Omar as the biggest stutterer on the show. This is from yesterday's show. I looked at their touring schedule. They have a blank. They have a blackout date here. I figured it was happening at work. Yeah, that is the art of misdirection. Just like last year.
Starting point is 00:18:55 You don't know nothing. You don't know nothing, John. Then write down in an envelope, seal it, and we'll open it up. No, no, right now it's too early. It's only September still. So you don't know anything. Hey, he's going to write it down in an envelope. We're going to seal it when you know, and then we'll open it after it gets announced.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Listen. Jake, Jake, why would you cut into a perfectly good conversation? Well, because I thought you were going to take it from there. You finished your song. That's just a sampling of what you may have missed yesterday. Actually, it's not that bad. It's not that bad. It was so much worse than I remembered it being.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Hear it again. It's not that bad. You know, you should redo. Remember how we used to do that outro with Corky the Pig? Or replace Omar with Omar out? Yeah, you got to redo it with Jay. Oh, man. Because this was a classic for a while.
Starting point is 00:19:43 They feel that He's going to write down an envelope and seal it Every reason to be shocked I said listen and you guys finally did It is shocking when people actually listen to you on this show And that's our fault We should have known better than to listen to anything Jake says You should have just trampled on him like we always do
Starting point is 00:20:08 Usually when he says listen that's when we turn his mic off That's what we should have done That's code for don't listen. But yeah, I'm glad that that brought so many people so much joy. That's part of the reason we're here. Our misery becomes your pleasure. That seems to be one of the common themes around these parts. And our disabilities.
Starting point is 00:20:23 That's absolutely true. You can't laugh at Jake because he's a handicap. So that makes you a terrible person. We can laugh at him, though, because we all work together. So technically that's allowed, I think. Yeah, it's fine with HR, right? Something like that. Clown Alley Show on KROQ.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Talking a moment with the ADD News. and you don't want to miss a moment of the show because we start giving you things. And you also could miss a moment like this. And now, a moment with Allie. You got Pierce the Veil and Dia de los... Geez. Dia de los...
Starting point is 00:20:53 Deaf tones. Rolls right off the tongue. That was a moment with Allie. And then a brand new hour of the show will officially begin. We have access for you today multiple times to get into the next four shows happening at the In-N-Out Burger Sound Space at K-Rock, which, if you're into the music,
Starting point is 00:21:08 that means you get to see four amazing bands in a very intimate venue. If you're into the food, you get four In-N-Out burgers without having to wait in a 25-minute drive-thru line. So you got that going for you as well. And that'll all be happening later this morning. And plus, we'll get you into Tenderfest happening on Saturday with some access for unlimited tendies.
Starting point is 00:21:25 You can turn that two- or three-tendie situation into an unlimited tendie situation this weekend, and we'll give you that chance coming up. But right now, let's get into your news. Grab your Adderall. It's time for ADD News. There's something satisfying about seeing rich people get scammed, especially when it's somebody like Travis Kelsey,
Starting point is 00:21:43 who has many, many, many millions of dollars and has a lot going for him. He got conned by a guy who called his company SwiftArc, which means that Travis Kelsey is either confused or just dumb. But here's what happened. It's a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme that ensnared Kansas City chief star and Taylor Swift's new husband, Travis Kelsey. Sid Jalohar defrauded Kelsey and other investors, including professional athletes, out of more than $30 million.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Through his investment company, Swift Dark Capital, they said he spent millions of his victims' dollars on a lifestyle that almost no one in this district could afford. Staying at five-star hotels, flying across the country on private jets, and dining at the finest restaurants. And this guy pled guilty and is getting 11 years in prison, which I feel like is almost worth it. 11 years, but he won't serve 11 years.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Right. Because you'd have to imagine 11 years probably out. Six, eight. I mean, it could be as early as three, I would think. You know, if it's a... If you've gotten all this money. It's kind of a minimum security thing. Now, he's probably going to owe.
Starting point is 00:22:42 He's going to be in debt. He's going to have to pay back. He's figured out how to pay these people back. Another scam. Even though the month... Right, she's got to start another Ponzi scheme. Well, you know what I think who paved the way for this is Anna Delvey. That woman who basically just scammed everyone.
Starting point is 00:22:54 She was like that fake heiress. Yeah, but that's been going on forever. Yes, but I think these high-profile people, Yes, they did it successfully for many years and kind of exposed that a lot of rich investor types, they don't really ask enough questions. And then also with that woman that went to jail for the pill, the fake blood test that she made. Oh, right, right. So all these people invest without really doing a whole lot of background checking. You would think this guy is not doing his research.
Starting point is 00:23:24 You know this song, sing along. Yeah, I mean, that guy sounds like a good savvy investor. I showed up in boots and ruined the Niners' affair. The last one to know. We were the last one to show. We were the last one they thought they'd see there. He's probably asking his guy. Surprised he doesn't get scammed more often.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I mean, you should look at all of his other investments. They're probably all scams. I know. Is he still going? He's going to go for the best. So Costco can be overwhelming for some or a place of comfort for others. Regardless, if you have a Costco membership, it is a cheap place to hang out, especially in this economy, which is why it's developing a bit of a social scene. Costco is becoming a hangout for a lot of groups of people.
Starting point is 00:24:18 People are going on dates there because, hey, you can pick out some flowers. You can go treasure hunting for little deals. You can get lunch at the food court and you can play that one arcade game that's on display. You know what I'd like to do? I've thought about this. People say, what will you do when this radio show goes away? I want to be like an unofficial tour guide at Costco. Like a Sherpa, but instead of bringing people up the mountain,
Starting point is 00:24:42 I just want to bring people to Costco for the first time. Sounds comparable to the radio salary. Yeah, it's about the same. I think I could do better at the Costco gig, perhaps. Especially with tips. Now that the churros are coming back, I think it's a big time to get involved. Dude, I'm going to go In-N-Out Manager. I just found out they make like $200,000 a year.
Starting point is 00:24:59 That's another great opportunity as well. I would look so good in that little safety pin apron. You wouldn't look that good in it. I mean, I look a little bulky. But you can also wear Doc Martens at work. I just think there's a lot of people that are overwhelmed. I know we all go there regularly, so it's nothing for us. But I think a lot of people have never been to Costco before.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Or they're just too freaked out. They go inside, it's overwhelming, they leave. That's me. I hate it. Vanessa, I'm going to take you around. I'm going to Sherpa you through. No, honestly, that's a place that every time I have to go, I'm like, Okay, put on your headphones.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Make sure it's like noise reduction. Like, why can anyone just walk in one direction? Like, people are... It's chaotic. People are meeting there. It's a good meet-cute for you. You can meet-cute over meet. No, there's no meet-cute there.
Starting point is 00:25:39 If anything, in my brain, I want to punch everyone. There's meet-cute and there's meet, just like Klein said. But also, people are going to Costco to meet people. College, you know, universities are creating meet-up groups at Costco so that they can get to know each other. They can just, you know, mill about, hang out in the food court. Moms, our mom groups are doing Costco meetups. It's like a little social gathering.
Starting point is 00:26:03 It's the worst place. It's not the worst. It is the worst place. It's the best place. It's always peak hours. There are no off hours. I try, I try. My wife goes on Sundays.
Starting point is 00:26:12 I'm like, what are you doing? And then I decided to go like on a Tuesday and I'm thinking, what am I doing? It's so packed all the time. And also, guys, what about the parking situation? That's a whole thing, too. That's not a big deal. Just don't try to park too close. What's the upside of
Starting point is 00:26:29 Costco here? Everything. Everything's the upside. I will say I'm not a Costco food court person. You can't maneuver. You have to wait in front of people going so slow. You guys are such weenies, man. The hot dogs are $1.50 with a drink. What is wrong with you people?
Starting point is 00:26:46 That's the food court. That's separate. I'm talking about inside. The psychology is two things. One is I think people still feel, even though anyone can get a membership, It's not hard. You don't need to get approved. I think that people feel, not you, Jake. Jake's on the list.
Starting point is 00:27:00 I think people feel, especially if they're looking for a place that's like a little bit, very slightly exclusive. They go, at least. I mean, it's not. I'm a member of, you're a member of something. So you go, we'll meet at Costco. And someone goes, oh, you have a membership there? That's impressive.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Maybe you got one of them black cards. Even more impressive, right? It's like you wearing a members only jacket. It just says members on it. That's right. That's impressive. Wear that to Costco. Double member up.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Watch out, ladies. Vanessa, have you been to that little optometry area? No, I don't go there. It's not crowded in there. Vanessa, let's coordinate. I'll push you in the car. You can sit in the top part, and I'll push you around. You have such fun.
Starting point is 00:27:33 I'll give you a full Costco experience. Also, Klein, you would like to know this. Costco is going to be on DoorDash and Uber Eats. So if you want a Costco chicken delivered to your door in under an hour, that can be done as well. I like the experience. You like going. I actually went to Costco just to get a chicken last night, and going at 6 p.m. is a great time. There you go, Omar.
Starting point is 00:27:51 There's your answer. 6 p.m. And then finally, I don't know why, because of everything we just talked about, but for some reason, men are staying single longer. They are not getting married like they used to. According to the Institute for Family Studies, the number of single men is now north of 30 million, which is up nearly 50% from 25 years ago. The number of married men, meanwhile, has fallen at the same time.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Social scientists have been trying to pinpoint why the number of single guys is growing. Some argue that men don't have strong male role models anymore, More than others blame video games and social media. So what do you think is the reason? Bitches be cray. Because bitches be crazy? Or because of the incel community that's like, hey, let's all gang together online and talk about how we don't have sex with women and we're mad about it? I think guys can satisfy their needs now more than ever before, easier than ever before, without putting in the effort.
Starting point is 00:28:43 And it does feel that to, at least for me, because I wasn't... How do you satisfy your needs? What are you talking about? sexual needs. Well, we know you're talking about sexual needs. Yeah. No, it's not the same at all. It's not satisfying in any way. It's not the same. That's why they're all going crazy, like clavicular.
Starting point is 00:29:01 But I'm telling you right now, I think that guys, especially with everyone's creating their own bot girlfriends. That's you, dude. No, it's not me. Everyone's doing it, Omar. Everyone's doing it. Johnny, are you doing it? I mean, I'm not doing it, but I think the reason guys aren't getting married, because
Starting point is 00:29:17 like you marry somebody and a divorce they take half of your stuff who the hell wants that right my question if the guys aren't getting married what are the girls doing aren't they also not getting married ali's hoping this is a big uh big lesbian recruitment come to the dark side i've got plenty of flannel ali's over there there's room for two in that flannel new hour of the show starts next
