We'll get into an episode of Klein Alley Show in just a moment, but in the meantime,
let's tell you about our absolute favorite place on the planet.
Yep, that would be San Bernardino International Airport, where you can go through the airport
process without waiting in long lines and overpaying for parking.
Quick connections to the Bay Area and the world, plus ski and snowboard in Provo
from San Bernardino all winter long.
Every other airport, you're going to be in long TSA lines, you're going to be miserable,
you're going to say, oh, I got to get there two, three hours before my flight.
Not at San Bernardino International Airport.
And now we send you on a direct flight into our podcast, which starts right now.
This is the world famous K-Rock.
Hell yeah, good morning.
Welcome to your K-Rock.
Less than an hour to go until hopefully we get together for some drinking and some eating and some slogging.
Over there at Descanso, happy Mexican Independence Day.
And we'll be celebrating with some damn fine Mexican food.
Mid-Miracle Mile, open to the general public.
That's you.
That's me.
and hopefully that will be us all together
in less than an hour.
Johnny says already some people out there
waiting to get in and be one of the first 106.
If you'd like to score one of those
Los Loggers shirts, limited edition merch.
And for anyone who has that free taco ticket already,
if you're not going to eat your taco,
feel free to give me your ticket.
Allie wants it.
You'll get drinks there, I'm sure,
because Blind Charlie's there.
He probably puts his card down
to make sure you're well lubricated as well.
Our resident show bartender known as the Mom Tender
had something to say based on the conversation we had yesterday
about the Long Island iced tea.
Hey, Mom Tender here.
Me and the family are a little sick,
probably with Johnny's sniffles that I caught at the kegger.
Johnny got everyone sick, not with those sniffles.
Dude, I am so, I'm just like my day five of being horribly sick.
Yeah, that was a Johnny situation.
He spread that all around the kegger.
But I just sort of weigh in that a Long Island iced tea
It takes literally five seconds.
Any bartender who thinks that's a long drink to make or a difficult drink to make can F my D.
And, yeah, that's all I've got to say.
And also, Vanessa, whose house?
Rams' house.
You know what I'm saying, right?
Cards' house.
That's right.
Vanessa's very excited.
Vanessa, there's a lot of people that are Rams fans or just would like to enjoy some Rams football with you.
In fact, you've been invited to your first game of the season.
Vanessa, I'll go to the Rams game with you.
I'm a diehard Giants fan, but I've never gotten to go to a game.
I'm dying to go.
I don't care if it's on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
I want to be there.
I'll show you what it's like.
It's not going to be on Tuesday, you idiot, because I don't have football.
It'll be a real football fan, and you'll love it just as much, too,
especially if the Rams beat the Giants because the Giants suck.
But I'll still be there in all my gear.
What kind of Giants fan are you?
The Giants don't suck this year.
They look great week one.
Destroy the Cowboys.
They look great week one.
Yeah, week one, they always look okay.
Actually, I will be there, so see you there.
Yeah, that's right.
That's good trash talk.
You know what I'm enjoying?
If you follow Vanessa on socials, she will post some viewing commentary.
During the games?
During the last game, she was like, how do I know who's on offense and who's on defense?
I'm trying to watch this.
True question.
She's like, whoa, spoiler alert.
They say there's a little arrow that points to who has the ball.
She kept wondering why the team was running the wrong way until she realized that she didn't understand how it worked.
So what's with the lines?
What do the lines mean?
What do you think they mean, Vanessa?
That they crossed the yard?
That's what the cocaine is.
Oh, wait, yeah.
You've got to snort them all.
That's right.
Are you talking about the white lines or the yellow lines?
The yellow lines, the red lines, the white lines.
And then all of a sudden the line's there, then it's not there, then they move the line.
You're very confused, right?
It's literally, like, so confusing.
But I'm here for it.
Yeah, because who's house?
Rub's house.
That's right.
Meanwhile, this call is giving Omar some props.
Hey, what's up, Claire and Allie?
I like to consider myself an avid listener and just wanted to give a shout out to DJ Omar Khan because I am loving that sound bit.
Happy birthday wheelchair.
I find it so freaking funny and I just can't recall where the sound bit came from.
So if you guys could point me in the direction, I'd love to hear where that came from.
Anyway, thank you for putting up a great show.
Love you guys.
Thank you for the kind words, sir.
That was an ADD News story.
We're talking about a woman in a wheelchair who had been given that message on her birthday dessert.
Oh, that's right.
Happy birthday, wheelchair.
And she got a piece of cake, too.
It's the hour for Annoying Miss, and we'll get to some of that and more after this on KROQ.
If you work in an office or you work with a group of people, there's a good chance that some of those people are super annoying.
And you can't tell them to their face they're annoying, so usually you just talk about them behind their backs.
And that's why we decided to get to the bottom of that problem that has been affecting coworkers for years.
It's like a suggestion box, but mean.
Yeah, but not mean because it's constructive, right?
So, like, the idea is we all recorded things about, in this particular case, Allie, that annoy us.
And then we change our voices so she won't know who said what.
So it's completely anonymous.
Just like any anonymous suggestion box, you can usually tell who's asking the questions.
It's, uh, it's anointimous.
It's a new word.
It's not even in the English language yet.
But the nice thing about Anonymous is it really is completely, like, you won't know this, Al.
You'll have to sit there and take it.
Here's an example of one of the things that someone said about you.
I hate how you're always telling inappropriate stories to other co-workers in the hallways.
Just today I heard you say, I used to have crazy dreams about having sex with my dog.
My childhood dog.
Yeah, I f***ed him in my dream.
So that's obviously affecting one of us here so much so that they felt the need to leave that in the old Anonymous box for you.
Yeah, that is something that happened today.
I told Larry.
How do you think that's okay to share?
Your therapy is not working.
All right.
Well, there you go.
That's just one of the many critiques that came from someone that you work with here
about a conversation they overheard you having with a co-worker.
He brought up sex dreams.
I had a sex dream story about my dog, so I thought it'd be funny to bring it up.
But don't you understand how that affects us all in a weird way?
Then don't bring up sex dreams in the workplace.
He brought it up.
None of us brought up sex dreams in the workplace.
Larry did.
Oh, he's blaming it on Larry now.
It is Larry's fault.
Then there's this.
Okay, Ali, I'm anonymous, but I'm going to say from lady to lady on the show,
you have the best smell from your vagina.
What?
Thank you, Vanessa.
What fake accent was that?
I would never say that.
What did Vanessa just say to you?
But thank you.
That's not me.
I didn't know you could smell it from there, but I...
Oh, my God.
Vanessa.
What's it smell like, Vanessa?
That wasn't me.
Go ahead, Vanessa.
It was you.
I hear it.
Yeah, you said it.
I'm anonymous, but I'm going to say from lady to lady, I'm sure you have the best smell from your vagina.
This is Vanessa.
That sounds like Clyde.
You said your name at the end of it.
He said, this is Clyde.
What's it smell like?
Fish.
That is correct.
Lo siento.
Es verdad.
Okay, when we get back.
Vanessa that is
you're going low blow
that was you
what are you talking about
I hear an accent
and someone said
lady to lady
I hear a generic
half Italian accent
is that Mario
I think it's Vanessa
it's me
it's me
yahoo
yeah that's Vanessa
alright Vanessa
calm down
when we get back
the actual
these were just teasers
we have the real
annoyance to get to
next Allie so
yahoo
You'll be propped up on the hot seat, and then you get to sit there and listen to all
of the things you do that annoy us all.
Great.
Can't wait.
Ha, ha, ha.
Yeah.
Wario-ween.
Ha, ha, ha.
All right, Vanessa.
That'll be after this quick break on KROQ.
Happy Mexican Independence Day for those of you that celebrate.
We are Klon Alley Show on KROQ.
Jake was out there in the streets trying to drum up support and get people excited for
this event we're doing today to celebrate those
sloggers, those that have slogged along with us for the
last few years, last few days, last few minutes,
whatever. And Jake found this guy.
What's your name? Jaime.
Have you heard of K-Rock? K-Rock.
I don't understand that word. What does it
mean? Is it a radio station? K-Rock.
Oh, K-Rock? A station? A radio station?
I hear 101.
I usually
hear
101 FM.
You know, that's what I
usually hear.
You don't know K-Rock?
You asking me many questions that I do not know.
So Jake is trying to make friends, as he always does, and it always seems to backfire.
I'm a Mexican. I'm a Mexican. What can I say?
You can say that you love the Klein Alley Show on 106.7 K-Rock.
I like it.
That's all he would say. He would not even pretend to say he loved it, Allie.
He would only, in this world of hypothetical, pretend to like it.
If you're being asked to say you love something that you don't know anything about, I think he gave us the most he could ever give.
Right.
I like it.
That's fine.
And we will take that.
So just remember when you think of this show and you're not sure how you really feel, just we quote our newest friend.
I like it.
With a question mark.
I like it.
I like it.
We'll take that.
Add that to our show slogan list.
It's more than our boss has said in the past.
That is absolutely.
It's a fluke.
I've heard that one.
Allie, it's time for you to take your medicine.
And you know your stepdad loves giving his medicine.
Why are we bringing that up?
Because it's your turn for medicine.
Just saying as a disclaimer, I'm more irritable than I normally am.
Is this because of the pregnancy thing or because the hormonal stuff or the lady things or all that, all the above?
Let's just go with all.
You're feeling, like, in what way?
You're annoyed easily now?
Like, are noises, smells?
In general, yeah.
I just noticed that I'm more annoyed.
Yeah.
I'm more annoyed and irritable, and I have a shorter fuse.
Yikes.
All right, well, it's probably not...
So go ahead and play it all.
It's probably not the right day to give you all the stuff that we...
Yeah, she might sit on you.
...feel about you.
Come here!
This is...
These are all things that annoy us about Allie.
She won't know who said what because it's totally anonymous, and we call this Anonymous.
And yes, we've all taken turns.
We're not bullying Allie.
We've all taken our shots before.
We spread the bullying around here.
So next time we do this, in a month from now, it'll probably be one of us.
And if you have things that annoy you about Allie, now is the time to vent.
Have you ever done Ginger Justin?
We talked about doing Ginger Justin.
But we thought he'd put a curse on us because he's a ginger with no soul.
Oh, yeah, good call.
We still will do it in the future, but he's back there putting the YouTube on.
Apparently, he's got his own microphone now to talk to the YouTube audience directly.
Oh, no.
Can we record that, please?
I don't know.
It's probably that weird hush tone.
He's got nipple rings and now a microphone.
Watch out, folks.
Anyway, here's the first anointing mess for Allie.
I hate it how you always take Mondays off, leaving me to have to do the news like I don't have enough f***ing things to do.
What, you can't fly back right after a gay wedding?
I went to the Super Bowl, watched my team win, and instead of celebrating, I drove back all goddamn night
so I could be here for the show Monday morning because I would never put my workload on another co-worker.
This is Vanessa.
Oh, my God.
Another Vanessa one.
Jesus.
Are these only from Vanessa?
They're all Vanessa.
This is not me.
For the record.
You know I don't do ADD news because I'm not good at writing.
She's very annoyed.
Or reading.
Or reading.
Or speaking.
All those things.
Right now, the speaking part is hard.
I'm sorry.
That is just one.
Al, you don't have to address these.
I have only taken one Monday off, and it was this Monday.
It just seems to be in recent memory.
What about Labor Day?
You took that one Monday off?
Everyone took that day off.
No, we were here.
Two Mondays in a row.
You weren't here.
Two Mondays in a row.
You going to go for the Connect Four?
What are you doing next Monday?
I'd like to.
Here's the next one.
You come in every day with that little Trader Joe's lunchbox, trying to flex your lunches
like you really got it going on.
You don't got it going on.
So there it is again.
Yes, she does.
It is annoying the way you prance down the hall with that.
This is not mine.
It's anonymous.
I don't know who left it.
It's Vanessa.
It is probably Vanessa again, but it is.
It's not.
You don't got it going on.
Everybody knows I bring the best lunches.
I bring the most exquisite cuisine here to eat for breakfast at 6.30 in the morning.
Not you and your smelly eggs or whatever stuff you eat that helps you go to the bathroom
because you're pregnant and everything.
Oh, yeah, you're pregnant.
So that's someone who's upset about you.
I don't know.
It's a strange thing.
Smelly ass eggs.
Okay, thanks.
You know what?
But I don't parade around flaunting my lunchbox.
You leave your lunch out on the counter so when everybody comes into the kitchen, they're like, damn, who's avocado toast?
Damn, who's tuna tetrazzini's that?
And it's like, oh, that's mine.
Tuna what?
Tetrazzini?
Sounds like somebody's jealous.
Never brought tuna.
Then he starts bragging about his own lunch.
Yeah, I don't know.
That was weird.
It seems like a you problem.
I got good lunches.
I bring some good stuff.
No one cares.
Here's the next anointing for Allie.
What's that thing on your lip?
I know you say it's a mold, but let's all be honest here.
It's the hurt.
Oh, we can move on from that one.
Stop trying to pretend that Wesley is cool or fun.
Dominic is cool and fun.
Not Wesley.
Dominic.
Okay.
Wesley.
All right.
That's another person that's annoyed at something you do.
It's not about me.
That's about my child, which is insulting.
Here is another thing.
He has no power in this scenario.
He's annoying us about you.
Just sit there and take your medicine.
Anonymous
Coming to work with that beautiful hair
You said it before
Who could that be
Anonymous
Anonymous
I am not me
Anonymous
Coming to work with that beautiful hair
Every day bragging about
The links
Why and the curls
The pre-vitamins are really
Doing something
Also, bragging about the jeans.
I see your Gen Z style.
I see you trying.
Overalls.
I love them.
I also want to add who's so good at accents like from every country.
Stop it.
Not everyone can do accents.
I don't know why that's annoying to that person, but that person's annoyed by you as well, and I get why.
Here we go.
They keep coming, Allie.
Hi, this is Allie's chair.
I'm going to be anonymous here.
I'm not going to say which chair I am, but, man, lately, I'll tell you,
it has been harder and harder to do my job.
I don't know what is going on up there, but, oh, God, this is killing me.
You want me next time, maybe?
Or maybe get two of us and push us together or something?
Jesus.
That's an anonymous from Allie's chair.
Okay, I didn't know that objects I interact with can participate in Anonymous.
Everyone can be a part of Anonymous, Allie, everyone.
I hate how you're always telling inappropriate stories to other co-workers in the hallways.
Just today I heard you say,
I used to have crazy dreams about having sex with my dog.
Well, we've addressed that one already.
We can move on.
Yeah, Sally does say inappropriate things in the hallway.
It's better than happy Wednesday, happy hump day.
I had sex with my dog in a dream.
It's a more exciting break room conversation.
It's a real hump day.
Here's the next one.
My childhood dog.
Yeah.
Oh, no, no, that's still the same angry person.
Hold on, here's the next one.
Yeah, hey there, this is Sally's pants.
It's getting harder and harder to do my job.
I don't know what is happening lately,
But, boy, she is like, oh, I'm choking to death.
I need to see some air.
It's like, for the love of Christ, can I breathe?
Oh, my God.
And that's Allie's pants.
So, it's just my pants and my chair now.
We're both very annoyed by you.
Next one, please.
You do this thing where you're telling a story,
and then the story just kind of, like, keeps going and going and going.
And we'll, like, wait to see if it goes somewhere,
and sometimes it doesn't go anywhere, but it just keeps going.
I'd be glad if the story could ever, like, stop or end.
Well, the good thing is I usually get interrupted in the middle of it anyway.
That is a good thing.
But we'll save that for another anointment.
We don't know who that could be.
It's anonymous.
Finally, I believe.
I know we've talked about this before, but you didn't take the hint.
You're still doing that dumb accent thing.
You'll mention that the person is from a country just so that you can then try to do an accent from that country.
It's sometimes totally irrelevant to the story.
You'll be like, anyway, this happened somewhere near Ireland.
And by the way, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Jesus, don't crowbar it in so much.
All right, Allie, there you go.
Some of the things about you that annoy the rest of us.
Hey, I paid thousands of dollars for my college education
where I just rolled around on the floor and learned accents.
I have to apply it somehow.
Apply it on Mondays when you're not here.
Well, maybe I will.
Oh, no.
Well, can you apply it from home or something?
No, man.
Okay, there it is.
I did work on that one as well in college.
That's a college accent right there.
In case you thought that was someone from a third world country, you're wrong.
It's a college accent right there.
Thank you so much, Purchase.
All right.
There you have it.
Allie, how do you feel?
I feel bloated.
Yeah.
That was already happening.
That's correct.
It's K-Rock.
We are a client.
Sorry, chair.
K-Rock, hello?
Oh, my God.
I was laughing so hard.
I kicked at my phone so my neighbors wouldn't think I'm crazy that I was laughing all by myself.
But, Allie, that was the best.
Oh, my God.
You guys are hysterical.
Thank you.
Sweet divots.
Sweet divots to you.
Annoying to miscontinue.
Checking out the show.
That was also Vanessa.
This is Vanessa.
Hey, Bud Light Bros.
Hello.
Good morning.
What's up?
What's up?
You guys RSVPing yes for the siesta fiesta?
Wait, why am I not hearing you?
Are you at the venue?
Oh, no.
We're at the courtyard right now.
They're at the courthouse.
Wait, you're in court or you're at like a courtyard Marriott?
No, we're here outside the studio, in the courtyard, right here.
Oh, in the courtyard.
Oh, you're right.
Parking lot beers?
All right.
Those guys like to tailgate before our parties.
Parking lot beers.
All right, we'll send Jake out to drink with you while we wrap up the show.
All right.
All right, we'll see you over there.
That's Bud Light Bros right there.
Good guys.
They will be drinking with us today, and we'd love you to come as well.
We're going to do takeaways.
We're going to walk across the street, go to Descanso.
If you'd like to come by, have some tacos on us.
We're going to walk.
The client's going to drive.
Yeah, I'm going to drive.
Oh, my God, I need a ride.
Really?
Vanessa is literally falling apart.
I'm like drunkly asleepy.
See, that didn't make sense.
And I'm aware.
What movie did you go see last night?
Practical Magic 2.
Are you dressed up for this thing?
She went to costume.
I did wear a costume.
And she said it was so scary she couldn't sleep last night.
That's not true.
I just couldn't fall asleep.
Too much tragedy.
Right, but...
What? Oh, my God.
And the movie was that bad?
Just the world.
Right.
So you're, like, unhinged right now, big time.
Dude, and my body hurts.
She was worried yesterday because she said,
I'm seeing the movie at 7 p.m.,
which is a little late for me.
Right, I know.
Oh, she asked me, like, how do you do it, Jake?
I saw a movie at 7.
Jake goes to see some weird band as we go on to 1.30.
I know.
Jeez, all right, well...
Sometimes he doesn't even sleep.
Vanessa, we'll see you over there.
We'll have a drink together.
We'll all be fine.
Okay.
All right, there we go.
That's a good calming breath.
But you still have to go.
Let's do takeaways, and then we will leave these parts and make our way over there to Descanso.
If you'd like to join us, information is up and get there soon.
I know you're thinking, I couldn't possibly be one of the first 106 in line if I'm not already heading there.
No, you probably could be, so I would get over there now so we can all hang out together.
All right, let's go.
Takeaways, what do we got?
3-1-0, my takeaway is harder, harder in the court.
That was some petty claims court with my wife earlier.
I'm not happy with how the jury voted at all.
I know you're not.
Hey, by the way, what was your punishment?
To have Jake over every week, right?
Yeah.
Is that what we're doing?
Yeah.
I'd like another punishment.
Yeah, we're showbiz.
Oh, great.
We're going to do that.
I would just love to see, and I don't want Klein to be home.
I want Jake and Klein's wife to be interacting.
I would love that.
That's a punishment for her, but great.
I'm fine with that.
Just Jake going, what's this?
What's in here?
I ate it.
The idea of Jake going through my fridge and opening things, smelling them, and then putting
a string in them and trying it.
That's just mustard.
Oh, man.
So annoying.
424, my takeaway is middle meh guy face is the one that looks like Klein on the tip screen.
A middle meh face.
Famous.
714, my takeaway is, hello, it's-a me, Vanessa.
818, it's Larry's fault.
562, my takeaway is, listen.
That was crazy.
Jake interrupted the whole show.
Right out of the gate.
6-5-0.
Trying to get things going.
He had to ruin everything.
He put it all to a screeching halt.
6-5-0, there's metal in them wires, and
5-1-0 my takeaway, you're still a virgin
even if your mouth isn't one.
What's your takeaway from today's show, Postmaster
Johnny? For all them hoes virgins.
Vanessa, you got a takeaway?
Dogs burgers.
Yeah, she is completely
tapped out. Burgers, dogs.
Dog burgers. She's trying to say dog burgers.
Dogs burgers.
You got a takeaway there,
Jake?
Yeah, I'm a big fan of the new Beck song,
two nipple rings and a microphone.
That's our Ginger Justin.
He'll be there today.
He comes out of Ginger Justin,
keeping the YouTube afloat,
and that'll be over at the Descanso hang after the show.
It's our fiesta siesta.
Allie, takeaway?
My takeaway is pizza.
Hello.
Pizza, hello.
Hello.
Hello.
Hey, listen.
Is this thing on?
Valuable argument.
Hello.
The jury didn't seem to hear me.
Omar, takeaway?
If you've come for stupid, you're in the right place.
Yeah.
It's right here, all day, every day.
All day.
We'll do it tomorrow.
Try to do it better.
If you're used to the meantime, you can find us on the GOAT line, 844-956-GOAT.
You can go to the Instagram, McLeanAlleyShow, TikTok as well.
I don't mention that nearly enough, but thanks for helping us to hashtag grow the show there.
818 was asking about showvertime today.
That will be postponed until tomorrow because we have our event at Descanso right meow.
Okay.
So that's it for us.
We will do it tomorrow.
And I think, oh, shoot.
The stupid continues.
I don't have the jingle.
You see Vanessa down there, give her a hug.
Clyde and Natalie is just okay.
This is Vanessa.
